I've been searching for an app that includes health advice, restaurant guides, and gym walk through workouts, and I was tired of counting calories. I had resigned myself to counting calories forever, opening another app for resistance guidance, then another app to log a run (all of which seemed excessive), but this app really has it all together in one. It's easy to use, very personalized, and the point system makes me feel like I'm accountable to what I'm doing. I love the "nearby restaurant" feature that gives guidance based on what food places are near you. It gives daily advice, and daily exercise and food suggestions. Plus I love the articles and feedback. Will definitely continue using this!
I must not get the value of this app. It did nothing for me.

I need to understand the logic behind the diet principal, I like that they have all these articles. And knowledge is free, as it should be!
A friend recommended I try out this Olumia app because it helps you track food without needing to count the calories. I have been counting calories using MyFitnesspal and I AM SO TIRED OF IT. I really like how it’s set up because it’s a lot of my doctor has been telling me to eat: focus on ratios instead of calories. By focusing on ratios of protein on my plate to carbs I end up eating less over time and remain less hungry throughout the day - which has led to me losing about 8 lbs in 4 weeks. Wow! I have never felt this energized.
A friend told me try this out app because she was having such a good time using it. All I can say is wow. This app helps you track without the need to count calories - it rocks! It also has really great workouts for me that I have found enjoyable and easy-to-follow. Olumia has had me focus on the ratio of protein on my plate vs. carbs -- with this I’ve found that I eat less over time and remain generally less hungry. This was a big step for me! This plus my exercise has me down 8 full pounds in about 4 weeks!! My husband was skeptical at first, but I am having him download again soon because it’s great to find something that really works!
I was very aware of the free trial period - unlike some other commenters. There were 3 confirmation screens that outline the membership, so it’s beyond me how some of these people seem to have missed that!! Anyway, the app works well for me! I enjoy the daily workouts and have switched to the ‘band’ workouts because I can do them at home and end up with a nice sweat when all is said and done. Sometimes I go to the gym and can switch over to a gym workout smoothly. The meal logging could be improved, but the restaurant menu suggestions are really incredible. I honestly have not seen that anywhere else before and find them highly useful. I might even pay just for that info alone.
After a couple weeks with Olumia - all I can say is wow they have thought of everything. The latest update they made just took the app to a whole new level. The tracking and everything is great and compares to other things out there, but the added articles that seem like they were written for me was a surprise I didn’t see coming. There is a lot to like in this app and it’s been incredibly helpful for me to lose some weight and generally improve my habits.

I was disappointed to find out that the app charges you after you've entered all of your personal information. That should have been disclosed upfront. I would not recommend this app at all!
It's a waste of time if u think it's "free". They make u answer all these questions to only tell u, u have to pay to continue. They should at least tell u in the beginning before you answer all these questions.

How do I make sure that I didn't subscribe to this $40 a month I can't afford that when I downloaded it I didn't even see a price listed. Someone please help. 😒
The app is fantastic. I was so excited when I found it. Later, found out you have to pay monthly for its services - Which is fine. Upon checking the prices for the membership... $40/mo. I think that's a bit steep for an app, especially when my gym membership only costs me $10/mo, and other apps will do allot of its features for free. Like I said... This is an amazing app. It will kill me not to go for it, but that's $40 a month I could use somewhere else.
So glad I downloaded this!! After a month using this I lost 4 lbs and now I am working on my sleep patterns. The daily advice is really helping me change my bad habits.
This app nailed it. It's extremely easy to use, not at all time intensive, but gets you on track with coaching that's simple and focuses on key fundamentals. The goals are easy to follow and I found myself making real changes, one baby step at a time. Even if it just gets you taking an extra walk each day or eating one more vegetable it's worth it. And it doesn't force you to go into great detail, thankfully, but if you want more help and more info it's all there - workout suggestions and descriptions, meal suggestions, recipes. The sleep guidance was extremely helpful for me as well. This app is comprehensive - I am amazed by the content. Sleep, nutrition, exercise: you won't need any other health apps.
Really liking this app!! Does it have push notifications that can help remind me? I'm new to it but so far loving the content. The dining out part helps a lot. Really makes sense. Healthy lifestyle, here I come!
This app is like no other health app Ive used before. I have been using like 4 apps for different parts of my health and with YouPlus I now only need 1! Love how it ties everything together. My favorite part is the fitness plan! The restaurant guide is actually really cool too. Thanks!
Love the recipes!! There's a lot of content in this app -- it took me awhile to get used to it but now i really understand all that it does. I recommend this for anyone looking for guidance in improving their overall health without having to do anything extreme. I've been feeling a lot better by just following the exercise and nutrition guidelines!
