Meh. This app is OK. I can easily write down the problems I have for math class or whatever but it’s so hard to get things done and focus with all the ads. Like, I just erase a little mark and a ad pops up. The ads are the only problem for me. If there were a lot less ads then I would rate this app higher than 3 stars. That’s all :)

One feature short of a five. My wife and I each have this app, and use it very frequently. I LOVE using it at C.E. meetings to write notes in the margins, or highlight the lecture notes. She's used it in a lot of creative ways.... recipes, crochet patterns, as well as at lectures. Now that I've used it for over half a year, my library of documents is sizable. I would LOVE the ability to organize them into subsections for easier location.

Lost Pages and Keeps Crashing!. Honestly started off so well although was slightly disappointed only 3 notebooks are allowed. Then pages randomly started disappearing when I go back to them - they become completely blank (not even ruled just bright blank) it started crashing a lot and doesn’t save my work - there should be a save button at least. Started becoming very frustrating and if I hadn’t already wrote some notes there I would definitely stop working on this app and transfer elsewhere.

Keeps Closing out and Deleting. I have been using this for a few months and haven’t had any issues until now. I’m not sure if it’s the app or the latest iPad update but when in use the app closes itself out and deletes anything I have just done on it. I have lost entire pages of class notes that I cannot replace due to this insufficient app.

Horrible!. You can’t function because of pop-up ads. I was trying to explore it but deleted it 5 minutes after installing because the pop-ups were too annoying Developer suggests purchasing the full version... that might be an option if I could have tested it to see if it was worth purchasing! You can’t even get to that point because the ads are so overwhelming. I respect the developer taking the time to respond but their proposed solution doesn’t make sense to me. Ideally, they could limit ads for the first 48 hours or something comparable... just food for thought!

Not worth the price. The Pro version is $20 and doesn’t do anything different that the $0-$10 versions of note apps. This app needs rulers, and the ability to rotate text boxes. I like the paper choices. The app works fine for me, but it is a little sluggish on my iPad Pro. It is slow to respond and makes awkward lines sometimes if my hand is near the tablet. The lag time between the stylus and when the mark is put down is frustrating. The PDF edit works pretty well, except it is difficult to put text exactly where you want it and you can’t rotate text.

Heck no. Not no, but he** no. Screen does not keep up with actual pen stroke speed. Lags behind like an animation. It’s not my device. The native app doesn’t have this problem. The eraser doesn’t erase the entire stroke. It only erases what it touches, like a real eraser. Not efficient for taking notes. The palm rejection is better than nothing, but that’s the extent of positive things to say about it. It doesn’t have any kind of smart sensing like Samsung Note. Instead, you have to slide a screen up and down over the area where your hand will rest. The big no, however, is that it pops up full screen ads ..... frequently ... and won’t let you close them for several seconds. They obviously care more about the money than customer experience. The paid version may be great, but I’m not sticking around to find out.

It is ok. I think that is a great game it is that I have a nock off apple pen and it will not wright or it will cover the whole screen in what color I am using. Also you cannot upload it. If you look at the game pictures it shows a lot more colors than you get. I like the game because you can use snaps highlight and there is a typing tool. I think that this game could be improved.

Ads make it unusable. I downloaded the free version to evaluate the app fully intending to upgrade if it suited my needs. But every time I open it there is a full screen add that disables app use completely, with no way of closing the ad. If this is the kind of product you’ve designed, then you’ve lost me as a potential paid product user. Your free version should make me want to upgrade because the product is so amazing and useful, not because you’ve purposefully designed a version I can’t use until I relent and upgrade. I expected ads in the free version, that’s fine. I didn’t expect you’d create ads that disable the use of your product.

Line tool. To create a straight line tap the screen and a like appears. You can adjust length and inclination of the line, and move it to where you want it. But you can’t originate a like at a point and draw it straight from that point, or anchor it at that point and rotate it, it only rotates from the center of the line. When moving the line you can’t see the end of it because it is covered up with a blue control point, so aligning it isn’t as easy. I think this tool needs some development. But as a free sketch tool it works well.

Good but could be better. How about you have an option to make an image the background of the note or cover of your notebooks? Also needs to allow the font to get WAYY bigger than 54 or whatever it is. I want to be able to have title and section title pages with nice typed words that are big. Also sometimes when I go to make a new text box and type in it the keyboard pops up and the notes go above the screen and I can’t see what I’m typing. It would be nice to be able to put photos on top of photos so I can kind of scrapbook. It would also be nice to be able to include videos on notes. And also to be able to choose a different template for a page in the same notebook.

I think it's very cool. So when I got this app it looked worse or then memo so I tried this app a lot so it got better because I noticed there was passcodes you could do so thanks for reading this,comment

Best game ever!!. It is so easy to take me notes with this app! I love this app so much. It’s so good when you need to remember something or if you’re studying for a test. For the test you can just write down all the questions and ask yourself them and you just write them down at the bottom or on the next slide. This game makes it so easy for you to remember anything. You can title all the slides. You can write and share to your friends or family your slides. If you want to talk to them about something that you don’t want to talk to some of the family just share it with them.

Its great but can improve. I honestly love this note taking app but the thing is the free version only lets me do 2 books and I don't want to pay 20 dollars just to get more books and pen colors...... I really don't think it's worth TwEnTy dollars just to get more books and pen colors with 20 dollars I'd rather go to five below and get cooler stuffs than payments no 20 dollars for the note plus I love everything about it but I don't want to pay 20 dollars just for a small little upgrade. Please fix this. 😓

Impossible to know if it’s any good. The free version is not fully capable for a trial so you can’t really get a feel for how it organizes your workflow. It’s also packed full of ads that pop up and interrupt you that it becomes to frustrating to try. I will not pay money for something I cannot examine one way or another, and their business model in doing this is too off putting to try.

Ads. I just spent $20 to upgrade to pro version so ads would stop popping up while I’m working. Ads are still coming If the ads stop I’ll change review to 5 stars Discovered it was an entirely new app and I was using old app It works great for taking math notes. No more adds, 5 stars

Cannot Recommend. For the short amount of time I have had this app (a day), I have experienced way too many frustrating errors. The biggest problem I had with this app was the fact that it crashed four times today. I downloaded this app just to write my math test and I lost my work for four problems because of this. This was made even more infuriating by the fact that the problems each required a page worth of work. Another small bug is the amount of times my hands have made marks on my work even though I am using an apple pencil. As soon as I finish this test, I will be deleting the app.

Crashes all the time!!. I got this app to to help me with my small businesses, and it crashes all the time... I understand there will be ads but why so many?!? At first I was considering buying the pro version but if the free app crashes this much I’m not going to pay $20 for the pro version to crash on me as well. This is a major downer I wish you guys would fix it because if you do I would consider paying for it but until you fix the free app I will not pay for the pro app it’s self.... why waste money... Suitable for a non class setting. I am in nursing school and cannot afford to miss anything said by my instructor and with pop-up adds sometimes taking 30 seconds to complete I had to delete the app. I have an Apple Pencil that I use for my IPad and sometimes when I would set my hand down on the pad the app would be very confused on whether to be directed to my Apple Pencil or my hand/knuckle.

Great app. I have tried multiple note apps and like I did any them until got this. It's a great app and any one looking for a app that can get the job done, this is a great app to get.

Storage hog. I paid for the pro version and have found the app very useful for the last few years, but it is now taking up 3.47 gigabytes of storage on my iPad, even though I have deleted all but six brief handwritten documents. I keep deleting stuff and it doesn’t get any smaller. In fact I erased part of a document and it got a bit bigger.

So far, so good!. I am enjoying using the app with my Apple Pencil because it allows me to write/draw while pressing the tip to the surface and also rest my hand on the surface of my tablet(iPad Pro) without any issues!! Working perfectly as of today!

Ads. Hard to test out the app fully when the ads are prominent and pop up constantly. I would like to be able to use the app to figure out if it's worth buying but the ads up top and the full screen ads popping up are both distracting and frustrating. Probably with continue with this app because of a lack of full ability to use.

Great but could allow for more organization. I have one notebook per course, it would be great to be able to have multiple sub documents per notebook, kinda like in Evernote. That way I could hot straight to the unit I’m looking for while studying.

Constantly Crashing. Okay so I'm a fairly new college student and I downloaded a simple app to text and write on. It worked wonderfully the first time I actually had to use it. The ads were enough for me to handle. Then it started to be weird and close on me so I'd restart my iPad and it'd be fine after that. Now I can't even get into the app! It's constantly kicking me off so I can't take notes let alone even look off the previous ones. I hope this is just a bug and not a devious attempt to make money off of us because lets face it, $15 is too much for an app that I could get all my school supplies for. :/

Forcing me to get a game I hate. I got this app, didn’t even really get to try it before “Pearls” whatever pops up and no x is available. I was basically forced to download that stupid game before I could even get close to back to the app. I got to see ONE aspect of the app before that stupid game came up and I couldn’t close it. I’ve played that game before and I hate it! If you’re going to force me to watch a video before I can even try your app at least let us close it. I understand that the ads help pay for the app, it’s a matter of being forced to download the game app. There was no “x” out option. That is where the issue is. I have no desire to have a game I hate.

Sub Folders for Organizing. Really like the app and I’ve been using it for couple of years for taking notes on job sites. The only thing I don’t like about it is that there isn’t any way for organizing the files. Would be great if files could be added or placed in a folder (I.e. - customer folder) so when looking back and searching for a file you could just go to that “customer folder” (for example) and see every file you have for that particular customer rather than having to search through them all. Just a suggestion.

TERRIBLE!!. This app offers NOTHING helpful to aid in studying. The app was not at all what I was looking for and I am kicking myself for spending $20 (which is a good deal of money when you are a student) on this app. There are so many different note apps that are better, AND drastically less expensive. There is no way to copy and paste, no way to upload documents nor pictures except when trying to upload a picture from your own photos app. I would not recommend this app at all and I am currently trying to search how I can get my money back.

Handy app. I have tried several “note taking apps” and this is by far the best. The fact you have the ability to print your notes, and organize them into notebooks is amazing. My only complaint is the pop up ads, but that is an easy trade off for a great app.

pretty great. this app is kind of good. My handwriting is really messy, so I always have to restart button. They only let you access the reading note pads at a time was really frustrated me but it was probably just my Apple Pencil because it was almost dead so but this app is really good. It helps me with my to do list since it helped me with notes for school. It helped me a lot. but this app is actually better than I expected someone on TikTok recommended this and I was like I’m not gonna pay for one of those other notebook apps, so I’ll try to download this one and I did and it’s pretty good. AMAZING APP!Small thing I noticed but it’s totally fine! There’s always room for improvement!. I have got to say, this app is amazing! It has so many features from text, drawing, shapes and so much more! I have so much yet to discover. I recently got this app and it is an amazing notes app! I will start making notes when I need to! I have one glitch or flaw and it’s totally fine, there’s always room for improvement. I don’t have a Apple Pencil so I use my hands and when I try to type it allows you to however on my “paper” I can’t see what I’m typing. If theres a solution please tell me! It’s totally fine I know it’s very hard to make a app in the first place. I just want to get that glitch fixed if it is something. Overall, this is a awesome note taking app! Ads & Glitches galore. I got this app to take notes for my studying. After using it for a few days I needed to get my notes out and this app deleted ASAP. The app would ask me at least twice a day if I wanted to upgrade to the paid version, no thank you! Then, as if they were punishing me for not purchasing the upgrade, I’d get ad pop ups every minute! Making it impossible to take notes. Also, my iPad would glitch every time I had the app open! Now that I’ve deleted it, no glitches.

Problems. The first problem is, is that you can only make THREE notes. And then if I want to make more I have to upgrade it, and it leads to buying the better version of it. But it costs $20 and I don't want to waste money. So I deleted it right away. You can buy the Notepad + pro, but it costs a lot. And yes, I now you can only make THREE because the fact that the app is free. But I would say that this app is horrible. Pls make it better in the future and stop ripping people off. 1 star.

Give me a chance to test out please.. I know it’s free but when you throw three ads at me, two of which are pop ups in the first minute after I install app and then ask me to rate it, you get one star. From screenshots and developer description, it looks like this may be good app but I’m trying to evaluate if I want to purchase PRO app. I’m now so turned off after a couple minutes in app and i’m sure my overall rating will be higher once i actually try it but they wanted my opinion right now and so here it is.

Frustrating. I paid for this version in order to eliminate ads, yet they still pop up for other product offerings. Also, this would have had an extra star, but following the OS11 update, there’s no longer a smooth interaction between Apple Pencil and the app. Instead, the appearance of the lines is jerky instead of smooth, the way I’ve come to expect.

10 minute use -crashed twice already. I just downloaded the free version to see if I liked it. It is easy to use, but in only 10 minutes, it's now crashed twice. Each time I lost my latest changes and had to restart and then decline again the additional purchase version.

over the top ads.. i understand free apps have to use ads. but EVERY time i added a page an ad popped up. initially i thought i was clicking on the ad. didn’t get a chance to really see if i like the app or not. the ads are too over the top. two stars instead of one because it seems good. but I didn’t stick around to really find out.

Ok but not great. When I got this app I thought it would have all the colors like on the pictures but it didn’t and that made me sad because I’m an artist and I thought it would be great for me so i can erase my mistakes unlike starting all the way over on a canvas but it only had basic colors.

Draw and Type. I was looking for an easy app that would let me draw and type my notes out on the same page without too many interface changes and this is great! I do wish that choosing between placed shaped and texts were easier because sometimes it doesn't let you click and move a previously placed one, but it is just a small detail. Works amazingly smooth, definitely recommend it!

Interrupting ads deter trying out app. I was evaluating several notetaking apps on a trial basis, and the frequency and disruptive ads on Notepad would not allow for a decent trial. Completely frustrating and maddening to use. I ended buying other note apps which did not muck up the trial app with interrupting ads. It’s one thing to add ads to your app to frame your app; it’s another to put the ads where they actually interfere with use. LAME. Uninstalled.

Great free app. I love this app, it does just what I want out of a basic notepad app. The only drawback is that they have packed it so full of annoying ad pop ups that it is hard to use. So I will either upgrade for $20, or just give up and try another.

Poorly Executed. This app has a lot of good ideas, but executed them very poorly. It’s literally a knockoff Notability. The ads make it impossible to focus, the app isn’t visually appealing, and the write function is very glitchy. Adding more options for customizing paper would be nice, as well as just making the whole thing run much more smoothly, because it’s very choppy now. The thing that irks me the most (besides the ads you have to fix those ads) is the lack of a good UX scheme. A UX scheme is the User Experience, and this app just wasn’t appealing at all. Users can overlook small faults with an app if it looks good, but this app just looks... terrible. There’s no color, the paper options are bland and uncustomizable, and the blue-white scheme just isn’t working. Whoever made this app needs to find someone who’s good at visual design.

Not as great as I thought.... I got this app to digitally sign / fill out an application form for an apartment, because Adobe's version doesn't let you use a stylus to sign... The actual pen signing tool works OK, but the text tool is lousy. You have to tap and hold the screen several times before the cursor appears, and when it does its not lined up where you want it to be. AND, you can't even drag the textbox after you make it, or even edit it or anything! Useless! And when you go to share the document with someone else, your only viable option is email, or photo sharing, or iTunes. Seriously?! Who puts a PDF on iTunes? No dropbox? No google drive? I hope the premium version has these things. Totally not worth the $15 if it doesn't. Free versions is kinda useless. Test it on one or two docs and then you're required to get the paid version... As someone who works in professional UX & Front End Development, using this app on an iPad is frustrating. Please update, and fix this.

Good but I think it could be better. Hi! I enjoy this app, but the amount of ads I am getting are insane. I understand that you are trying to get people to upgrade to Pro, and I’m good with that. The app is getting really hard to use. Again, I am okay with the ads, but please can there be less? For a student trying to World on homework, this is really not ideal. Thank you for the trouble.

Confused.. I have used this app for at least two years, and it’s amazing! But the problem is I see all these cool new features without an update so of course I’m going to check for the features and I open it NO NEW FEATURES!!! and it’s on iOS 12! Plz fix this! 😢😢😢.Respond immediately.

The best. I’ve downloaded so SO many apps for drawing, markup, and doodling with my Apple Pencil. This is by far the most intuitive notebook app, but when Imif you feet lost it’s ok; it comes with extensive and easy to understand instructions. I love the color wheel and the realistic and pressure sensitive drawing tools. I don’t even need to use my Apple Pencil, it will still work flawlessly...as for my art, well, perfection is the enemy of art. But perfection is the BFF of this app. No, it’s the baby.

Good for writing books and essays. This app is good for writing books and essays I love this app except it is Half free and half of it you need to pay money but you can just stay on the the half of it

No Apple Pencil Support. Did not recognize the Apple Pencil 2 at all. All other apps (notes, penultimate, bamboo paper, one note, pages) have no issues. Had to reinstall and reboot and it finally worked. Palm protection is an area on the screen that won’t allow writing. No handwriting recognition. Not as smooth as other apps that work for free. Ads are annoying. No listing in the app of what paid version adds (just says more...).

Can't save to PDF or files as advertised.. The description of this app mentions multiple ways to save a notebook. NONE of the saving methods such as save to pdf, files, or photos are available on the free version. I might have upgraded to Pro on the assumption that save would work,but there's no indication if spending $20 would fix it. Also, the scrolling is... well, there is none. So when you use Myscript, you can't scroll to the part of the page you want to edit. The ads are frequent, and I might have upgraded to get rid of those, but another reviewer still gets ads for the author's other products! If all that wasn't bad enough, you can only create 2 notebooks with the free version. There is nothing whatsoever to recommend this product. TRY THE FREE NOTE APP FROM APPLE. It does a lot of the same things, with better scrolling. You can't draw on photos with Apple's version but at least it has no ads and you can save your work to import into another app or service.

Works for my basic needs. This app is okay. Can't change the color of the text, and it seems that , when using the iPad Pro pencil, I'm limited in the kinds of notes I can take, (like my own illustrated notes). I'm sure that if I pay for the additions in the app, I'd be able to do more.

Get OneNote instead.. If you have OneNote this will App annoy you. That is because it is terrible compared to OneNote. Maybe the $30 version is decent but don’t do that to yourself

Perfect. I been looking for something like this for ages as a voice artist. Just to get the Job done easily and simply.

Poor introduction to the app. I opened the app hoping to experiment with its features and find out if it was right for me, but there was so much advertising and so many pop-ups that I lost patience before I could properly try it out. The advertising starts when you're trying to read the welcome screens, delays you from opening the example note, and a video popped up before I could attempt to create a note of my own. I deleted the app instead of waiting for it to finish. I certainly won't pay $23 for the full version when I can't properly try the app first.

Nice. It's awesome but I think you should make this exact same app but for kids so if they want to do something that you have to pay for in this app then they can just do it for free in that app because us kids don't have this much money but overall, it's awesome! P.S the title should be notepad+ for kids do everything free! And I think in this version, there should not be a limited amount of notebooks because that's not fair! That's basically spamming your trying to make us pay for the app so we can have ill-timed notebooks! But overall, as I said it's awesome! 👌

Free version virtually unusable. Don’t install this app unless you are prepared to upgrade it. It is basically an ad server, and when it is not displaying ads, it creates ad pages in your notebook, and continuously asks you if you want to upgrade. I deleted it after less than 10 minutes, it was so frustrating.

Not impressed. Advertises use of “ tons of templates for work and fun” gives you five colours of plain lined paper, if you want the templates, you have to pay 30 dollars for the pro version. Deleted immediately.

Not successful on my iPad Pro.... I imported a .pdf document into this app to complete it in handwriting. There was such a lag on the writing, it was not usable. I tried to cross the cross on letter H and it just wouldn't do it. Don't know why it had such a lag. I used other notebook software I had and completed it without a concern...perfect. Delete for me I guess. Why it is like this I don't know, as others seem happy enough with it. The paid version is way expensive.

Add Winner. The most adds in an app on the Apple Store goes to this app. Very intrusive, generally it forces you to upgrade as fast as possible without testing the features. In ya face advertisement, just like going to a rugby game in Australia.

Full of spam. Only half rage drawing area available because of a big upgrade now button. Full of adds and annoying pop ups that make you have to close windows before you can continue. Limited to only 2 drawings at one time. Waste of download, and I’ve deleted it from my iPad.

Really...!!!. Highly aggressive in your face adverts for "candy" devoid this app of any credibility. I was prepared to take this app seriously but clearly the developers of this app have no consideration for you. Avoid.

Doesn’t work. Try to add a line or a circle or other shape inside a simple rectangle to create a simple design, but nothing happens. No instructions. Can only assume it’s bait to make you pay $30 for the pro version.

Not completely familiar!. The first time ever, and you ask for a review. Well limited experience is the result of not finding It easy open , and use so a better time to ask me is when I have more practice. The app would be better if tutorial look up program like you tube was available!

Greedy company with good apps. This app has all the functionality and simple to use. But ... It has 'in-house' ads till the cows come home. They don't tell you in the 'how good it is' section that the free version can only contain three, that's right, only 3 PDFs. Upgrade to get more. GREED! If I was happy I might upgrade. Love my Notebook +Pen. I compiled an page interior design portfolio in 2 hrs. Easy, quick .... to master.. Just having trouble sending as a whole document in 1 send .... and transferring into iMovie with music.

Cool but...... I like it and all but when I looked at it I saw the full pack update but when I got it it was pretty much paper that you can draw on you can put pictures on but that's about all I advise you get this app if your will to spend your pocket money on a game I also saw no games nothing..... sooooo bla

Good..but annoying and frustrating.... This app at the start included something that told me how to use this app. It did help. When I got the new page open, the usual portrait, colour, but when I used the typing ( T ) and I then used my pencil to take notes, I couldn’t open that same box that I was typing in so I could fix any mistakes. So could you please fix that. Also another thing, the redo and undo button does not work what so ever. I have tried and tried. But it doesn’t work. I know there is a rubber, but I usually use the redo and undo button, so could please fix that, thanks for your time in reading this, have a good one. Cheers.

Spam ads within seconds of opening. It would be good to take a look around the app before being hit with ads almost immediately after opening for the first time. Deleted the app within about a minute of opening. Annoying.

Cookie-policy collecting personal and public data. I was looking into the terms and conditions after it popped up I am one of those that looks at these things. If you were to use this app sign in with emails and passwords this app collects all of these yes that’s right your password as well. We think our public info is fine to let them collect but if you share anything from this app it will collect your IP address and your VPN and what other login details you have used ie Facebook. Go and read the terms and conditions before using this app. After reading the terms and conditions I will not be using this app and nor will I pay to have the full version of this app at I think it was $27 ish for the developers to collect so many details of mine which I believe is complete violation of my details yet to use and pay for the app and allow the developers to have my details. Makes no sense to go ahead with using the app.

This app doesn't sell itself. I think the point of this fake free app is so you buy the expensive $30 app. But this version is nothing but advertising and pop-ups that sell more fake free apps that actually are more expensive than they seem to be worth. This app seems to only have the same features that other less costly paid apps have. So why spend double money when you can get the same features elsewhere for less than half price? This free version does not answer this question for me so am a bit disappointed.

Make it better. It’s good but may I suggest not putting dotted lines while I type.

Clunky and HIGHLY annoying App! ZERO stars.. The designers for this app spent 98% of their time scheming annoying ways to upsell you to buy their PRO edition. It is a lame, useless, clunky app that's designed to lure you in and tediously annoy you to pay more money to upgrade. If you want to be continuously bugged by flashing gifs of spinning roulette wheels and annoying sounds while you are trying to create a simple business document, THIS is app is for you! A HUGE fail! I deleted it and felt great.

The delete button. When you write a text the delete button can some times be accidentally pressed....But apart from that this is excellent!

Just a suggestion, don’t have to do it if you don’t like it :). This app is great, it’s good for taking down notes of ideas. But maybe allow users to have more time before having to pay, maybe give them 10 free notes on the app before having to take the subscription? Just to let them get the hang of it and let them have a set decision when they have to pay. Sorry if this wasted your time, have a good day :D

I HATE ADS. Thought is was going to be just what I needed, simple sketching app to replace my paper notepad to jot down ideas when I’m working. The interface seemed easy to understand and easy to access. Then the ads started, if I moved my pencil the wrong way, an ad popped up. It made the app completely useless for my purposes. I decided to take my chances and upgrade, hoping to get rid if the annoying ads. I clicked on the upgrade button and guess what? Yes, it just brought up another ad. This time and obnoxious gambling ad at full volume. I am deleting the app from my iPad.

Pen support sucks. Total crappy app! Wish to get my money back. Pure garbage. Notability is much better

Great but bad. Excellent premise but very buggy on my iPad 6 and advertisements make the bugging worse and take away from the free version's experience. It’s the very first time I experience any king of functional issues using this iPad at all. Other then that I do appreciate that you can design a ‘cover’ (the front page is the cover). The zoom in version of writing is an excellent idea but it makes it hard to use when it skips 3 lines at a time instead of 1 and doesn’t always skip forward with consistency making this what would otherwise be an advantage. Too bad it had to be a disadvantage. On to something nonetheless... Potential: 5 stars Application: 2 stars

They really want you to buy it. Google keep is better and free and got no ads. They ask 27.99 $ for this tiny note taking apps.

Disappointed. I don’t know why there’s so many adds, it truly makes the app unbearable. There are very little customization options. From all the reviews I thought it’d be good but honestly I’m disappointed.

Unstable and quite intrusive ads. Installed on the iPad Pro and within first 5-10 minutes has crashed 3 times already. Ads are also quite intrusive. I don’t mind ads such as the one in the header as it’s understandable for a free app, but full screen popover ads happen very frequently which completely covers your screen, which is incredibly disruptive for a note taking app.

First Screen Was I citing me to a $ Upgrade. I went through the first, easy to understand tutorial or overview so proceeded to the next page...to me, the first page. And what pops up? A full page notice that to get all the features I am welcome to spend money etc. Etc. Etc. You would have thought they would let you discover a few things without starting out selling you on the upgrade.

This is the worst note pad you will ever try in your life. It doesn’t let you see any of the things you are typing, there are SO MANY DAMN ADDS FOR A STUPID APP LIKE A NOTEPAD( Money hungry as hell), They don’t let you change any of the things you wrote previously so you will need to delete the whole part that you wrote after the thing you wanted to change to actually change it. And sometimes it won’t let you type. This is just SO FRIKIN BAD!

Very good. For a student currently in high school, this app does it all as it works amazing with my apple pen, simple and easy, and gets the job done which is all I want. For a free app this is essentially all you need if you are just taking notes.

Trash. This is the most disgusting trash note-taking app on the app store. It's completely useless without a subscription and with the subscription it just makes it a little less useless. Still worst than probably all other note-taking apps

Notepad+ Pro. This app is barely functional and a waste of time. It comes with ads, which it didn’t when I first downloaded the app. Now the developer want $27 USD to get of the ads and add a few coloured pencils! I don’t have an issue with people making a but an add version of a core app just pisses off. I will not pay for an upgrade that does little more than gets rid of the ads. There are plenty of ads free writing apps out their, which are far superior to this one and it’s Pro companion. Don’t waste you money on this C grade app.

Nice features but free app not worth it. This is a great scratchpad app but the free version is extremely frustrating. Ads are understandable but this app pops them up after every couple clicks. Also have ads with black screens that freeze up the app. No way to dismiss them. I’m deleting this app.

Difficult to maneuver. Preparing an agenda for a meeting. Cursor is difficult to call up and place. Margins are difficult to place. It just hops around. Call up pen or eraser, can’t shut it off. It isn’t very user friendly unless you are an expert. Not for a novice and certainly does t make me want to use it again anytime soon.

Notepad+love. I love it I can us anything and it is awesome I can do stuff for work on here and have it in separate spaces

Unusable due to ads. I tried to enter a *single word* into my note but was interrupted three times by pop up ads. I understand wanting me to purchase things or upgrade but at least give me a few minutes to try it so I can at least evaluate it. The ad thing needs to be a lot less aggressive.

No. I really liked it and I was so happy with it but an hour into taking notes they just disappeared. my iPad was fully charged and everything the pages just were gone and I’m very mad there is no way to recover them. Those were so important and I didn’t so much wrk for them to just disappear with no way to figure out how to get them back so yeah

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The hand screen is a nice touch. When it works. The app is so slow it make writing impossible. It will lose 1/2 of what you try to write. This will kill your work flow. You will be ripped from your train of thought by correcting errors this program makes or by tons of adds. I have better work flow typing.

Difficulty Moving Text. I often can’t move text after placing it in a page. It seems random when it does work but most of the time it doesn’t.

My notes disappeared with recent upgrade. My notes disappeared after the update. I had a nice clean app that I bought when I got the Apple Pencil in 2015. I paid to remove ads, now the whole app is like any cheap app from six or seven years ago with ads and crashing problems. They want $20 but can’t be trusted to keep notes and sketches.

Lost notes - twice. Have used this exactly twice, and both times WAY too many ads/blocks - but worse is that it lost the note BOTH TIMES. No way would I ever want to pay for this, totally ridiculous. Opened the app and could see the note, both times, but then immediately had error and note is gone. Nope

Hate it!!!. I even tried to purchase an upgrade to turn off the barrage of sales pitches. The instructions were wrong and I couldn’t get them back on the screen to review. Couldn’t get rid of the adds long enough to pick the update button. Worst app ever. One big scam for $20!!

Ads. I can’t take notes in class because ads keep popping up. I’m not talking about the ones at the top they don’t bother me, I’m talking about the slot machine ones that take over the whole screen while I’m writing. Like why would you do that for a writing app.

Excessive adverts. While I intend to try out the app and if I like it and it’s features fits my needs, I could purchase. The adverts are just intrusive and terrible. Spend more than half of the time getting rid of the adverts while trying to check the features. It’s not event worth it.

Don’t download. I think it’s sad that I downloaded this app to do my homework and even though it says that it AUTOSAVES, I SOMEHOW lose ALL of my work and have to restart. The undo button doesn’t undo anything and when it DECIDES to work, it deleted other parts of the work, not the last mark done. BS app.

Excellent program. Excellent program for someone who likes the feel of writing implement. I use the pad more and it takes the place of all my notebooks.

Unexpected ads in the middle of working. Not sure why ads pop up in the middle of writing, if I were interested in enlisting in the USMC than I’d love that feature. It is very annoying though.

DON’T. Just don’t get the app. It is a huge disappointment and too many ads. There are only 3 average fonts and it doesn’t help with studying. I have 8 subjects but we are limited to 3 notebooks. There are only 5 average colored highlighters and pens, and I think just using Word is better than this app

Ads make using this as an evaluation of Notepad+ Pro impossible. The ads are annoying and distracting, phasing in and out of existence to the point where using this as a trial for the Pro version is impossible. Didn’t want to spend more than a few minutes in the app to actually evaluate it because they were embarrassingly annoying.

Not User Friendly. I downloaded the program, but there are so few functions, and there seems to be no way to simply click on a line to move it. Every time you click to move a line, it makes another line. I do not have the time to play around with the program and see about making it work.

Favorite Pencil App. I have found Notability to be my favorite go to app. With Apple Pencil i have tried them all. Can i say intuitive, easy, versatile and fun.

Not impressed 😒. I got this app so when I don’t have my computer a I can still Write. But there are too many adds and if you want the doodling I strongly recommend atodesk sketchbook it has so many great features and tools. Although don’t get this app there are no good tools and the notes are so annoying.

Too many ads. This app worked fine until I realized every single time I open the app, I get an ad that is full screen and sometimes doesn’t close until I completely restart the app. The fact that this has 5 stars baffles me.

Unusable. This app is basically unusable, it keeps nagging about purchasing the paid version and it has unsightly ads taking up a very large portion of the app. Didn’t even bother to try the features because I know I’m not going to enjoy taking any notes on this app.

Easy to use. After only a few minutes of practice, this becomes a versatile tool to add diagrams or sketches to a document. Easily change colors and line thickness, erase, or redo.

Loaded with obnoxious ads!. Ads are all over the place in the free version. Too annoying to even use the app. It harasses me to “upgrade” but for how much? Is there a subscription? App Store offers no clue as to how much the IAP is or if a subscription is involved.

Needs Work. I’m not just hating but please fix the text so you can move it make it smaller or not require 86 taps to even place the dang things and the ads please just remove some so I don’t have to make a 20 minute assignment 45 minutes. Just please make the free version not garbage.

Too many ads. Couldn’t even start to use it. The ads comes one after one.I delete after the third ads.

Pop up adds. Like the App, but the adds and banner are embarrassing when they open especially when in a meeting.

Deletes Notes. Used this app for about a month with no problems. Twice, it deleted an important document and there’s no way to recover deleted notes. The ads are super annoying, you have to press the X button multiple times to get rid of the pop up. There are way better apps than this one

Too many advertisements. Wth is up with the MILLION advertisements every two seconds?! Soooooo annoying that I had to uninstall after three attempts to use. Can't even say anything positive because I was stuck watching advertisements every time I hit one button. Fix this please.

Easier to learn, but ads are very irritating. I’m using notepad to sketch, and liking that it is more intuitive than other programs. However the pop up ads on top, and occasionally on entire screen, are tiresome. I will likely not use this long.

Perfect, but.... I would love to leave a 5 star review, as the features and functions are awesome, but the only notebook I’ve worked on and put a LOT of time into now refuses to open and crashes the app. I’ve tried to export it and that crashes it as well. I have no way to recover it. If this is going to continue happening with other notebooks, I can’t leave a good review for this app.

Nice App, But...... I like the idea of this app and most of the features. I use this app to take notes for my math class. I have had a problem with it not saving my work. It is very annoying and I have lost a lot of work!

Doesn’t convince me to try ”Pro” version. The "Pro"version of this app is more than twice as expensive as other options. I got the free version to try and see if the ''pro"version is leaky worth $20. I still can't figure out what extra is offered by "Pro"or what features separate this app from competitors or might make it better.
