I’m kind of obsessed.... I thought this app would be kind of useless... but it’s been kind of life-changing. I have a color-coded board of 250+ post-its I’m using to organize everything my team is doing at work. I have calendars and lists and reminders, but especially for nebulous ideas, conversation-planning, brain-storming, long-term ideas that I can’t just check off on a list... I love being able to see everything visually (even if it’s kind of giving me heartburn to see 250+ things I have to do). I can even share with my team when I want to. The app is great for note-taking, too. I can organize notes on different research topics or ideas according to subject matter, so I can synthesize from different sources without flipping through a thousand pages in a notebook. The best part is having everything in my phone. Nothing to lose, nothing to flip through, nothing to carry around. There are plenty of color options, but I would love a few more. And I’d like an option to just duplicate a post-it. Sometimes I just need the same idea in more than one place! Or even an option to move a group of post-its to its own board when an idea gets bigger than you thought.

Clean, Simple, Easy. I love this app! I love that I can edit my notes to different sizes as well as choose the text to fill the note or leave it the original size. I also enjoy being able to move my notes around easily especially from group to group. This app is also very aesthetically pleasing to the eye (especially for us office supply lovers out there). It’s not overwhelming, very clean and organized. The widget is also very handy and of course, easy to use. There are, however, a couple of things that I would leap for joy over if ever added to future versions. 1. Different font colors for the typing feature 2. Color background ability for groups and boards. For some it’s all about aesthetics and for others it means more organization options 3. Group names: adjustable font and font size would be helpful. Very useful and user friendly app!

Just one Widget Mission: Done. It’s FREE. First Make a note then add it to your favorite. Then learn ‘How to Add a Widget ‘ (I forgot how you need to press the Home Screen icon to see all icons wobbling and a minus sign to appear, then on the left top is the PLUS(+) sign, it allows you to choose add a widget from the apps you have.) you really just need to add the ‘solo’ and it automatically pulls out the sticky note you’ve done. I’m not sure about multiple notes or other complex capabilities, but I’m absolutely happy with 1 widget. That’s enough.

Almost perfect!. If you live your life with Post-It notes, then you need to get this app. First of all, the price is right, so nothing to lose there. But once you start to play with the notes, its potential becomes clear. I love to use it for brainstorming sessions and meeting notes. Keeping a Group for a meeting or day, with different color notes for each session or topic. Organization is intuitive, and it’s easy to come back to notes later. Wishlist: More robust pencil support/tools. More functions on the main (composition) window, so I don’t have to exit and come back. And I’m still looking for that Goldilocks app that integrates seamlessly with iOS Calendar and Reminders.

Awesome app, but needs some fixes. I just started to use this app. It is really nice—both simple and intuitive. So much is done so well, but I think there are some things it needs to make it more productive on the iPad especially when using a magic keyboard. When I leave the app and come back it should keep my place, and not force me to zoom out to find my content again (it doesn’t keep state of canvas). Also, when in carrousel mode, allow me to edit text directly without having to do an additional click to enter edit mode (too many clicks). Also, allow me to select multiple notes at the same time so I can change color or style all together. Otherwise it’s too many steps. And lastly, make it more like the Mac version with the left side panel. This would make it more productive on iPad. Thanks.

Can’t figure out how to make this useful. I wanted this app to be the answer, something that would let me post/view “sticky notes” DIRECTLY on my iPad’s Home Screen. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this. If there are instructions, I cannot find them. (Alluding to a “widget” is not an instruction.) One should not even NEED instructions, really—it should be plain as day how to do this. Just create a freaking board option called desktop. Duh. From the reviews I can see I’m not the only person who can’t figure this out. You reference a widget, but I don’t see such a feature. This is infinitely frustrating. Honestly. You are 3M. Your app should reflect the high quality associated with your market-leading brand. I’m going to try some other apps to see if there is one that might actually work.

From 3 to 5 stars. The few things this app does, it does very well. I’ve tried a few note taking apps and there’s something about this one that I find myself going back to it more than the others. It doesn’t have nearly as many features as the others but the interface is very clean and user friendly. Please continue to add features as this app has a lot of potential. (Uploading pictures directly to board, control over font size, text color, double sided post it for memorization and studying, etc). Even with the limited features I still love this app and will continue to use it.

The App You Never Knew You Needed. Whenever I am feeling overwhelmed and need to reset, I either write out all of my tasks, thoughts, idea on paper post-its and capture them on my wall; or I just wrote out thoughts directly in the app and organize them. I plan on using this app to organize my ideas for my first book as well. This is a must have app for those into all-things productivity!

Essential to any brainstorming session w/ Stickies!. This app is amazing! Take a picture of a collection of notes, move, make notes, organize, or leave as is. That feature alone is incredible. But then, it is even more amazing! Exporting the notes to Excel takes it to a whole new level! It keeps the note image, notations, and even organizes each board into sections. This is going to be used over and over again. I am blown away by the thought they put into this.

AMAZING INTERFACE + FUNCTIONALITY. I have been looking for an app like this for years! Other not taking apps aren’t much different from Notes installed by default. It made no sense to use any of them because Notes is automatically synced with my Mac and iCloud. Notes is a great app because it’s super easy to use and there are no distractions. The only thing it lacks is being able to view several notes on the same canvas, arrange them based on priority and enjoy some helicopter vision. Critical reviews mention issues saving and accessing notes. I really hope this has been fixed by now because otherwise this could be the most useful app ever! Giving it only 4 stars because I haven’t yet had a chance to test it thoroughly myself.

Wow. I read reviews where other people said they were enjoying this app and I rolled my eyes. How could anyone really enjoy an app with Post-it Notes? Still, I figured I’d download it and give it a try then forget about it like I do almost every other app. Hours later I find myself writing down all the notes I have scattered across multiple writing apps in this app. Gotta admit it was really fun organizing myself with this app and it’s pretty easy to use. Definitely deserves 5 stars. I’d recommend others try it out, it’s well worth it.

Amazing. This is certainly an app that never even had the right to be thought of, but I’m willing to kiss the person who did make it. How do you improve post it notes? Like it’s a simple and perfected product, bus this right here. This app is incredible for neurodivergent persons like myself. You had no right to go this hard on a post it note app, and make it this clean, this accessible, and this easy to use with all these features. Honestly thank you, and I wish this app was advertised so much more so people could know about it.

Awesome Note Taking App. The price is great. UI is very easy to navigate. Fun and serious. Taking notes and posting them is so easy. So far I have no complaints. I cannot choose a favorite between Google Keep and Post-It. So I’ll keep both on my phone. These two note taking apps combined with CALC HD+ and CONVERTER HD+ makes for an amazing trip going shopping, balancing check book, ANYTHING you can think of probably. 👍👍👍👍👍

Just updated to 2.3 and it lost boards!!!. I love this app. Everyone loves it when I use this app and make post it note collecting look so easy. But today I went in to reference one of my boards and look at the photos and it asked me to update. It then started "converting all boards" which I wasn't aware it was going to do and in the process it can't "convert" two of my boards. Of course one of them is the one I needed today, right now. But it just says "2 boards not yet converted. Tap to retry." But I keep trying and nothing. It gives me a retry or a discard option. How do I get them back!!??

One missing feature. Post-it is a great app and looks like it could be very useful to me both personally and in business. However, one glaring defect is that if you use multiple devices and cloud sync, the favorite status of a note is not sync'd between the devices. To me that is the potential value of the app - write a note on your iphone, favorite it so it shows on the home page widget, then it will also show on the home page widget of the ipad. Because you don't sync the favorite status this does not happen. You have to go to the ipad and separately favorite it there also. That defeats the purpose of making a sticky note that will automatically persist as a reminder on all your devices. Fix that and I'm all in!

Great app for planning when you are way. I absolutely love this app and I can’t believe it’s free. I used a lot. It’s simple and works really well. I have two complaints about it. The first is how sometimes it does not save. It doesn’t crash. But when you open the next time some of the things you worked on it’s gone. The other complaint it’s more of a silly one. Since it’s an app we could have a lot more post-it colors and fonts, I get it that they are only using the colors that it available for purchasing but still. I wouldn’t mind paying for the app to get more features.

Fantastic versatility!. I’m a visual thinker and like to use real post-its (obviously, that’s kind of the point of this app), and this app works great with my system. You take a picture of your post its, and all at once the app scans them all in, with their colors, and recognizes your handwriting. My writing gets pretty messy too, but the app is very good at recognizing. You can also use all kinds of sizes and colors, both when scanning in and when creating new notes in the app. It’s a wonderful system. Simple. Works great.

Great app! Minor suggestion. I genuinely love the interface of this app - it’s clean, super easy to use after a little bit of practice, and no paywalls that render the app useless! The only minor change I’d suggest is folders for boards - I use notes to plan out projects, so having multiple boards filed away together for one project would be super useful for keeping stuff organized. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend this app!

Awesome app. I always have random thoughts but saving them within the regular notes was too boring to me and even hard… I actually never knew how much I’d need this app. Now I can save anything and match it with a color that goes with my feelings. As these post-it’s are on a board is pretty practical . So easy to go back on some past posts. First time I use a gadget and love it

It was good until…. …one day, all my notes suddenly and inexplicably disappeared … again. This happened to me twice. The first time, they reappeared after what felt like a couple of hours. However, this time I still don’t see them even after 24 hours. I may be wrong to assume they vanished into the void never to return (and I hope I am), but regardless of whether they return, this is a most unpleasant surprise that has motivated me to look for another more consistent sticky notes app. I gave this app two stars because it’s top-notch when it doesn’t surprise me like that.

For post-it note brain stormers who travel. You can literally take a picture of your post-it notes board/wall whatever and it will make a user friendly digital copy you can move transfer share and keep going about your life on the go. If you are like me and are trying to accomplish everything all at once while still giving fine detailed thoughts about each group this app is for you. Let’s me start again if you do well with post it notes and are on the move this is how you take your board with you.

Disappointing. I have to be honest, I have held on to this app for months in the hopes that one day the simple process of transferring the random post it notes that r constantly scattered about my house to a cohesive, neat little package of post Its that I can easily glance over on my iPhone home screen....... but I can now say with certainty: it’s them, not me. I don’t get it! I just want to stick little virtual post its on my home screen like I do with REAL post its, so I am forced to be reminded of said reminders, yet still see the screen and not have them fall off everywhere like the tangible counterparts do! If that is possible with this app, than it is far more complex than it needs to be. I have spent many dollars on post it notes over my career, and I dare say I expected more from their makers in this app.

Updated review… below. iPhone 6 running iOS 12.5.5 wont upgrade this app to newest version. This creates issues with my other devices since posts on the other devices will not show on my phone. I will not pay several hundred dollars to get a new phone just to run this app properly! Update: Updated to a new iPhone. Still using this app. Now working better, BUT I still have a glitch with sharing notes between Apple devices. If I tap star, it shows only on screen of originating device, not other devices. It shows up in app, but not on screen.

Please fix Board names & also widget. I like that you added iCloud support! I stopped using the app shortly after I originally downloaded when I saw there was no iCloud support to sync between iPhone and iPad. However, two other things. First, please change there widget to disappear when I don’t have any post-it! notes favorited (kind of like the iOS app “Deliveries”. In that app, if you have a delivery, the app will show up as a widget. If you, don’t have a delivery, the widget disappears. Second, please make it more simple when it comes to “board” names. I thought I made a “board” name but then it turned out to be a combo name of 2 different post-it notes. Plus there are individual note names too. Please just have “note” names and “board” names & thats it.

NEW “CANT LIVE WITHOUT” APP!. I’m going to make this simple for you; if you still are hand writing sticky notes (or writing in planners, on whiteboards, etc.) then you 100% need this app. I have ADHD and have to hand write content in order to retain the information or organize it in my mind, which is very time consuming when it ultimately needs to go into a digital format… I tried Rocketbook, it was just okay because I was limited to that one medium. But this app, this one is a game changer for me. Not only did it quickly capture my sticky notes from yesterday and group them, I was then given the option to add/ share the content across all my “go-to” apps.

Works surprisingly well!. I figured out that I can take a photo of (in additional to genuine Post-Its) other small paper notes (keep in mind though everything gets “squared off”). Although app states it’s not a note, I can retrieve the picture from the holding area to the right and crop it. Then, post to my Board(s). Then, it’s simple to arrange and organize notes. Of course, you can also create notes (handwritten and typed) within the app, and choose various colors. Multiple types of backup and sharing are available, as well. Give it a chance, even though you don’t normally write on actual Post-It Note brand stickies.

Still Love These. I smile when I think about the beginning, my life with Post-it, I was young with small children and whenever I needed to remember something important I use to write it on a Post-it. and put it on my board, but the most important thing for me is that whenever I wanted to memorize something I would write it on a Post-it and stick them in places where I would see them often and it worked very well.

Very easy to use. I like this app a lot, I nearly gave it four stars because I would like to be able to make a purple note, but it’s exactly as advertised and I shouldn’t detract appraisal because I didn’t get something that wasn’t promised. It’s an easy to use, smart quick-note taking app that I recommend to any multi-tasking person looking for a neat organization tool.

Useful but widget need slight work. I like the post it app, just started using it so there may be an easy fix to this however I’m starting here to resolve such issue with the widget. Thank you developers for this app, it’s appreciated. The widget, when you set a post it as your favorite, it sets all the widgets to that specific favorite you just set so you have to edit each widget each time you favorite a new one. Loving so far!. Just downloaded this app for some help with productivity. When I was in school, I used post its to figure out when to work on assignments, organized by color on a giant piece of chart paper. This might be the digital equivalent! Love: creating boards and then grouping within a board; how easy moving notes between groups is; editing notes, so you can brain dump and organize later; choice between handwriting and typing Things I’d love to see: ability to mark as done instead of just delete (it would be so satisfying to crumple it up!); scanning different size post its, as another reviewer mentioned; creating post its in different sizes (I like to prioritize tasks based on task size: small flags for tiny tasks, etc); more color pens! Such a great little free app. I’d even shell out a few bucks to use some of the features I mentioned.

Super easy to use, but would like to be able to share boards. This a really easy to use app, and is great for organizing information. My friend and I are doing fake school where we are the teachers, and this app is really helping us organize our lesson plans. The only problem I have with this app is that you can’t share a board or sticky note so that both you and the person you share it with can interact with it. Instead, you can only send photos of your boards and sticky notes to others. (I would give the app a 4 1/2 star rating, but I can’t figure out how.)

Such a good app!. Seriously! I’m so glad I found it. I have Apple Notes, Apple Reminders, Evernote, Trello, and Good Keep. None of them were able to help me organize my thoughts quite like the more visual Post It Notes app. The fact that it can be a widget and I could put important post it’s right on my front screen helps tremendously too. My only wish: that the multiple post its widget option looked prettier. I need to use it but won’t cause I don’t like the look of it. I just use the single note widget option and lost all my notes on that one post it. Overall, however, it’s a app. Pretty. Easy interface to figure out once you play with it a bit. So good for visual people like myself!

From a person who rarely reviews. I have probably done less than 5 product reviews in my life and I’m in my 40s and use lots of products. Stopping to give this one the credit it deserves because it is really, really good. I not only love using it, but I also love the “release and learn” strategy of the 3M company here (at least what it seems to be,) i.e. to release this app for free with simple but impactful features that provide the flexibility that everyone really needs, tie in the purchase of the physical product, build as they go etc. I even picked this up in the ‘tone’ of the FAQ…it sounded like “here we will efficiently answer all the questions that folks who fail to remember that this is a free app have” and be done with it. Furthermore, we will also copy and paste the same response to the folks who unlike me stop to give their 2 cents reviews about how things can be better for just their needs. I love it. Seems like a smart approach that will hopefully be translated into smart choices for the app in the future. Good job 3M

Very helpful. I am the kind of person that needs everything to be IN MY FACE or I’ll forget so I have POST IT notes everywhere! I can’t remember to open an app to see my To Do List! So when I changed to IPHONE a few years ago and realized there’s no widgets I was pretty disappointed! But this last update ios14 finally has Widgets And POST IT NOTES has a WIDGET!! My only Complaint is I wish each screen could have its own individual widget and it not have to be the same widget even if it’s a different shape! I love it but I know between the brilliant minds of this app and Apple IPHONE it can Happen!!! 🥰

Absolutely love it!. I downloaded this app ages ago, but never used it until recently. Now, that all my classes are online I started sticking Post-Its everywhere to remind me to turn in assignments and tests. I remembered about this app, and started using it to better organize the tornado of Post-its in my room. And I love it! I've tried countless reminder apps and organization apps and they're always so complex and too involved for my needs. This one is straight to the point, simple, and doesn't bombard me with features as soon as I open it. My only request is that I wish you could select the thickness of the markers.

Solid App Yet Falls Short…. For those who achieve better results from the more visually appealing nature of this medium or actually interact with physical sticky notes on a regular basis this app will provide loads of utility but for others who don’t require the aesthetic, find the visuals distracting, are serious about data security, and/or prefer the freedoms of open source apps such as systems cross compatibility, greater control, enhanced customization, or options to self-host there are plenty of free alternatives that can meet those needs. Not a bad app by any means, very easy/quick to install and begin using but one quickly learns that if this is a medium of note taking they find themself wanting to incorporate into a daily regimen then the next realization will be that you do actually want the aforementioned enhancements alternatives provide and although migration it will always be more efficient to start down the correct path when possible instead of changing course later on.

Love this!!. I LOVE this app and use it everyday for school, home, work and everything. The crunchy ball up noise is soooo satisfying. I can scan in my real stickies and store them in any layout you want. I was shocked at how many option there were from colors to fonts to bullet points. The updates have very benefited fixes and I do hope you would consider one more. I hope in the next update we can have longer left to right space/room to write. It only allows 1-2 words max per line/per bulletpoint. I would like to pinch zoom out and have my lines fill from the left margin to the right margin. Why have an array of wide cards if the writing is uncomfortably narrow? Is it possible to integrate between mac and iphone that would be 👌

Great idea! Needs more features and Support. The idea is great! It is pretty easy to use. It looks good but... It is great that you can back up to iCloud but my iCloud is full so I have to turn it off. There is only an FAQ, no Support. I’m getting an error message on my board but have no where to go to get help. The app has crashed and lost days of post-its. There is an error that my archive is corrupt. I’ve created a new archive and that is corrupt. Again no place to get help. I can export a board for another user but how do you import a board? FAQ doesn’t say. Lots of potential. If you’re serious about this app, but some resources in to this: give us more features and solid support!

Thank you. I generally appreciate any app that is free, but this is beyond. Post-It’s app is fully functional, ad-free, and cost free. A company that depends on income offering an app free is impressive to me. I am building my own boards and using this app as a way to remind myself of important things. I love being able to choose my color note and write and edit and organize and re-organize. Thank you post-it. I would love to be able to type in a color of my choosing, but wouldn’t mark the app down for such a thing.

Amazing! But lacks ability to ACTUALLY share boards!. If there is a way to ACTUALLY share a board, so that two people can both work on it and see each other's updates, it is well hidden. The closest thing to this is to export it to a file that someone else can use, which is NOT sharing. If I mail you food, we are not sharing a meal. Sharing a meal means eating together and sharing a document means editing it together. This app is awesome but badly needs the ability to collaborate. Until then it is only useful as a means to export to a real collaborative tool, like Trello. That is still very useful, but it screams out to be useful as it's own tool rather than an importer for something else.

This is the worst app I’ve ever downloaded EVER. I’d give it 0 stars if I could. I thought it might be a great way to save notes on my phone but it’s a nightmare. The first note I tried to make the font was huge and I guess you have to adjust it with your fingers to make it smaller. I also wanted the text to go from right to left and use the entire note but no it would only let me type until the middle then start a new line. F this stupid app. Make it normal like you are a normal person writing a post it note for you or someone else and make it so the default is how normal people are taught to write since they learn how in 1st grade for g’ds sake.

A lot to love. This is such a simple and well executed app. I do think there are a few things that could make it so much better. Allow me to see the board, while composing a new note. Sometimes, it takes some pondering to compose the next great idea. Having both a blank note and the canvas open at the same time would be nice. Turn off the automatic group and group naming. In the early stages of brainstorming, you maybe don’t know which group an idea fits into or what it’s called. When starting a new brainstorming session, it’s ideal to just throw ideas on the board and sort them later. The app forces me to sort right away. Let me add new notes to an existing group. When you start adding notes, they’re all added to the same group. Once you exit the composer, there’s no apparent way to start adding notes to that group again, and new notes will show up in a new group.

No way to recover lost/deleted notes. App is not what I expected. My most problematic finding is that there isn’t a way (that I can find) to recover lost or deleted notes/boards. I deleted an empty “group” today and the whole board deleted- and I didn’t even know they were linked. They appeared to be separate boards. Now I can’t find a way to recover the lost board. iCloud backup is ON in the app and permissions allowed in iPhone settings. They did not sync as they should. I am also disappointed as there are very limited ways to arrange boards. Drag and drop only allows notes to be lined up side by side or above and below. Honestly it’s way to basic and limited to really be a helpful app. Disappointed.

This is cool, but….. I am having to use it with other tools to make it function well. I wish that I could put individual stickies on my desktop widget without having to star them. Also, why don’t stars carry from device to device? And why only favorites in the widget? I’d like to select a whole group. And the export to Miro function is amazing, BUT, I want it to transport my handwriting and drawings rather than auto converting to text. I’m a visual person so seeing the handwriting is what helps me with organizing and synthesizing. Essentially, I want images of my stickies to go to Miro but instead I have to export each individually as an image and then upload them to Miro. That’s so much work. Thanks for making this great tool. I look forward to updates!

Great with a stylus. I use this on a adjustable stand with my phone flipped wide, also with a stylus that makes it really easy to write. One thing i love about this app would be the adjustable size of the note pads, also how easy and simple it is to use and how well the app works. Very proper and smooth. Things that can be improved on would be allowing the note pad to cover the whole screen and also being able to hide the selectable options, I find them distracting, and also maybe adding a button that would allow it to clear the writing, I find that the easiest way to clean up the screen is saving a blank note and having to go back to files and selecting , doing this a couple times made me want to comment that it would be nice if there was a clear button to make it easier to have a blank page with one button. Other then that this app as very good!

Surprised how good it is. Not only does it handle really well. It supports an assortment of exporting tools. Files types like pdf, csv or even full blown app exports for powerpoint and even Trello for you kanban users out there. I like it a lot actually. Now if you guys created a printer that could be loaded with sticky notes and have the thing print all my cards onto physical cards....we’d be in the best of both worlds. Because now I can still purchase and support physical cards on the fly and be able to just generate a board instantly and I would still be comfortable working on my digital or physical platform. An even better idea would be to have a company that already houses your product, like office depot, offer this ability as a feature for the public. That way we can come in store, win for them and print our boards or cards out as needed with a specialized printer. Numerous wins here. The camera feature already has the other end showed up in case we want to convert to digital from physical. But the reverse is needed to close the loop and make this app fully functional in a more practical setting. Please add to roadmap. I think this would boost revenue on all fronts and could even become the next trend of how notes and boards are made. Post it boards can even be developed with specialized fields in place just for this app. The ability to mass print cards in the stores would be awesome.

Overall great app. The app works great and does what it says it will do. It has a tiny bit of a learning curve because the interface is simple and elegant while the features can extend beyond the surface level controls. The sync is convenient and quite quick. Fantastic free app. The handwriting is my least favorite part of this app. Handwriting is modified and “corrected,” sort of “shaped” while you write. It might be helpful for some users, but I find it makes my normally neat tablet handwriting difficult to read or misshapen. It would be an incredible relief to have an option to disable the handwriting assist programming, or whatever it is called. It would be even more wonderful if there were writing size options, for smaller pen sizes.

Ideal for the paperless environment I work in.. Due to customer privacy restraints we can’t make or use notes that can be left on a desk or workspace. This app is ideal as I can make notes electronically and they auto transfer to phone, desktop and pad. Easy to delete once the note is no longer needed. I use it to track personal progress on self help topics and develop ideas that involve my team. I can easily share and collaborate with their input.

Fantastic App!. I love the post-it app! I used to always use physical post it notes and have them all over my monitor and stuff or if i just needed to jot something down, but if i left my desk, I couldn’t just easily remember it. This app makes it super easy to scan my post it notes and sync them in icloud to all of my devices. The only thing I wish was a little different was if we could underline or strike through the typed text in the notes. Some basic text formatting like that would be great! Another thing I have noticed is that if i make a change to a post it note and the same note is set as a widget on ios 14, the widget does not update with my edits unless I un-favorite then re-favorite it to show up. It would make life easier if it also updated the widget after i edited the note! Overall 5/5! I love how post-it has found a great way to stay needed even in the digital age :)

Poor photo quality. The quality of the photos captured is too poor, the appearance was not up to scratch. I would be more likely to use this app if I could create a board from scratch on my ipad.

Useless. I use post-it notes mostly to remind myself to do something... There is no provision to post a note to my screen ir remind myself of anything! Waste of time

Great tool for the Classroom. As a teacher I think this is an awesome tool. We are constantly using post its that end up lost or ruined. Pretty happy to have an easy, digital option for saving them all.

Works wonderfully. Not sure what the bad reviews are about. If you need to capture the layout of post it notes and digitize them in a much easier to read way than just a photo I highly recommend it. Many of our product modules begin life as postit notes on a whiteboard and this is a nice way of capturing that for later reference.

For design thinking and workshop or research synthesis. For anyone who has used post it notes for affinity mapping, user stories, agile sprint planning - and has then had to manually capture and report on sharpie-scribbled post it notes - this app will blow your mind

Perfect for capturing Post-It notes. If you need to capture a set of Post-Its (eg after a workshop or for later transcription) this is the perfect app.

For the target audience this app is a lifesaver. If you're a UX designer (I am) this app is amazing, and that's really who the target audience is. I can now easily convert walls of post-its into something digital that can be managed and shared. If you're not a UX person I can see how this app seems pointless. It doesn't deserve such a poor rating and reviews by people who really have no use for it.

Animation idea. Your notes are great and the way they are put in groups on the board. I save images then make an animation with imgPlay, maybe you should also have a GIF Maker in app, Having Post-it notes animation can be used in so many ways, I use it to give reference to photos also in animation loop. Great first cut!. As a UX Designer this app is really handy for capturing and sorting Post It notes post workshop. Exporting to Evernote is really handy feature. Looking forward to seeing how this app evolves in the future.

Awful. Makes no sense, not well thought out.

Pointless. Pretty much an app to let you see several photos at once inside Post-It notes. And the reviews here are kind of suspicious. Half of them are UX designers (other people with jobs that use Post-It notes think it's awful too) and most of them ask what the bad reviews are about. The only good thing (yes, there is ONE good thing about this app, I bet you're surprised there's so many!) is that these Post-It notes won't fall off, unless you can somehow do that too, I deleted the app before I deleted a note.

Multiple widgets?. I like the app but is there a way to get multiple widgets to show different post it notes?

Concept vs. Reality. I love the idea of this app as we use post-it notes a lot in my job when we are brainstorming ideas and we used to just have to write everything down afterward... I used the app in a workshop last week and in principle things went well. I could save a board for 'pros' and a board for 'things to explore' with the concepts we were working on... Problem I have now is the pictures taken within the app are so blurry we can't read the notes. We threw them out afterward and have no information now (my stupidity on that one). So the concept is good, the reality was far less than expected.

Great start. As a UX designer, this app is incredibly useful. I used it today at a client workshop to capture a story map and it worked really well. Integration into Evernote, Dropbox and PDF output meant I could put the work in my client's hands in seconds. The post it notes do need some space around them, but if you're tidy, there's no issue. Where is struggles is with overlapping post it notes, especially under office lighting. I did find it a bit fiddly to manage lots of boards, even on an iPhone 6. Reckon the iPad Mini would be perfect. As a first release, this is a great app. Some of the negative reviews in here really don't understand the post-it note hell of UX. This will be a go-to tool for me.

Mr. This is fantastic! A very powerful tool for affinity diagraming and general Post-It note usage. My expectation was just another note taking app but this shows genuine promise of improving efficiency in the design area of my organisation. The capturing works great (even with ball point pen on notes), the PDFs are high quality and the usability is intuitive.

Nukes don’t auto save. Please make it so that notes left open without saving don’t disappear. Very frustrating. Otherwise it is a decent app - especially with the new widgets.

Love it. This app has been such a life saver for me. I have a short attention span and I tend to have important thoughts that I forget about shortly after. I used to specifically write sticky notes to remind myself of my creative ideas but with this app I can take my stickies wherever I go!

Post it. Smooth flowing Experience

So versatile!. This app is so useful - honestly a game-changer just like physical post-it notes were back in the day. It’s not over-engineered and is great for visually organizing your thoughts, tid-bits, camera pickings or anything you would jot on a sticky note. And without all the hullabaloo of subscriptions! The developers seem to adding features that not only avoid getting in the way of this simplicity, but enhance it. I love it.

iBooks and Apple iWork Integration. Would be nice if you could insert a Post-it on a books page you are reading/studying in iBooks. Also the ability to use with pages, numbers etc would be helpful.

Very Handy. Having the widget is what makes it so useful. When writing with Apple Pencil it would be good to have a ‘palm rejection’ setting. When I rest my hand to write it makes random marks elsewhere. Also would be good to enable writing upon opening a note rather than having to click on the write icon first.

Worthless. Can’t see the point of this pointless app. Lots of apps do a much better job. A post it is a marker or a reminder. These don’t work at all this way. These are being employed as a pale imitation of storyboarding, brainstorming, imagination style software. I especially love how the samples display the post it notes at a jaunty angle, a feature not available in this release. Lame.

Coolest, most useful app in years. This is one of the most useful apps I’ve found for doing brainstorming and organizing. I use it in conjuction with actual post-its and it’s fantastic!

Great App!. Really love this app! I’m always making notes in my digital folders but there is no way to make one note stand apart from the rest of my documents until now! I really love being able to have a an actual Post-it note among all my other documents. The colours are so brilliant and vibrant making it really noticeable. I just might have to go back and replace all the notes that I’ve made with Post-it®! My only wish is that I could change the size of the font to make it bigger.

Not syncing. I like the app but it stopped syncing with my Mac. And the widget on my Mac doesn’t not update either.

iCloud Widget Support. Please allow my Post It notes in the widgets to update themselves over iCloud between devices. So if i complete a task and check mark it on my phone, it updates automatically and also check marks the same post it on my iPa widget. Thanks

Feature request. Enjoying the app. Very good at enhancing text written on notes. Since I use this for capturing Agile boards (Kanban) would great if I could draw lines on the canvas. If it could capture the lines drawn on the physical board would be even better.

Very functional. It is an excellent product I have used it from to do list for my kid to org chart changes in my business I have never ever wrote a review before good or bad for other apps. This ones is totally outstanding ! I would add dictation and the ability to take the note and post it on the desktop in the iPad or computer.

I deleted it. I love post it notes. This was going to be a lifesaver for me but it was just to clunky and difficult to organize. I want to pinch and size and turn them sideways, all on the same screen. I couldn't get it to do what I needed although it was a very cool concept. It should be easier for people in a hurry. Best App EVER. This is the best To Do list and notes app! It’s incredibly intuitive and has some of the best hand writing recognition I have come across. The options it gives you are perfect! I have yet to say that I want it to do something that it can’t.

Little options. I love post it notes! I was so excited to use them! However in this app you can’t control the size of the text, if you want the text to be smaller or larger. And you can’t control the margins around the edges, like how close you can get to the edges with the note. So it only works with a small space of the note in the middle and when it runs out of space, instead of letting you make the text smaller it starts to run off the note, hanger below somewhere!

Almost there. I love this idea. But I’m wishing I could set an alarm on each post-it (date/time) so that notifications popped up on my phone. Sometimes I don’t remember to check the list, I get to rushing around and I’m afraid it will have been pointless. Especially bc I am starting new organization habits. Also, I “second” the opinion on wanting font selection. Looking forward to seeing how things progress with this app.

This may be useful on an iPad.. I’ve been looking for a visually oriented ToDo app. I initially thought this would be it. The ability to move the notes around is great. The ability to type large text on the notes is not. Text management is very inconsistent. Can not seem to make large text that is visible on an iPhone. Probably won’t keep this on my iPhone and will continue looking for a visually oriented ToDo app

Love this app. It’s just the app I need to make quick reminders and notes when I don’t have time to open another app like calendar, etc. I’m so,glad,I thought to look. I used to,use this or a similar app years ago on old pre-iPad tablets and I’ve missed it. I use regular old paper Post-It’s too.

Post-It is a Super Helpful App. I frequently use the Post-it® app to take notes and make little shopping a reminder list. It Is a great way to remember items to get at the store or ideas when you’re out with a friend.

Got to post it. I was frantically taking notes on my notes app and everything I open it I feel overwhelmed. But they weren’t notes. Today I have been keeping notes thanks to some scopes I read and it’s honestly been helping my brain feel released. Get it. The widget allows for outlooks to be seen on it.

Great app for us color-coding-organizers. This app gets 4 stars only because it is still working on several key options which I feel I need to organize well. These options include: alarms, better copying from one to another note, colors of type, highlights, and a few others. Great app and the team is diligently working on improving it.

Features that are necessary. I really like this app but a need a few features to be added. Main one being ability to duplicate notes and board. As well as ability to change thickness of the pencil and more options in that as well.

Update: it actually DOES work with non-post-it notes.. In a previous review I had a problem with a particular pad of non postiit brand sticky notes. 3M was great at reaching out to me and I did some testing. I sent then screen captures and they are looking into it. I finally got it to work on a background with more contrast. So, it's still a work in prgress but a great app and does NOT exclude non-post-it brand sticky notes. my bad.

Best Notes app I’ve used!. I’ve used several note apps and they were all USELESS! You heard me. USELESS! I’m addicted. If you need a post it note but don’t have any, you can literally make your own! Color, text, draw. You can group it and share it! I’m obsessed. If you already wrote it down with an actual post it then you can scan it and get it and edit. You’ll thank me later.

Great app.. Have been using for almost a week... after reading through the FAQ (really the manual) everything has worked really well (haven’t explored scanning post-it functionality... only used “digital post its” so far). I do use between my laptop and iPhone. Big thumbs up!

Great app, but hoping for improvements. I use this app daily, with my only complaint being the inability to keep a board open when there are no notes in it. I use it for a digital SCRUM board, which means I move notes constantly from one board to another. Hope this gets added soon, but a great app despite this one nitpick.

Nice idea. So this is a pretty nice idea overall. For me, the biggest challenge is figuring out how to pick a note to be on a widget. If I long press a widget, and pick select, it shows me a list that says personal note, personal note, personal note.. but doesn’t actually show me anything that useful to indicate what I’m selecting. I see there is also an option to start a note, but it’s not clear how that relates to a specific widget either

Nearly there, not quite.. If you live and die by post it’s at home and work this app should be a godsend. But, on my iPhone 6S I am only able to add new notes on the home screen, then have to add it to the “to do” group, then have to go into that group to add it to the others. I am unable to simply go into the to-do group and add another item, it CRASHES THE APP. Too much time doing it the other way to be helpful. Also can’t figure out how to delete the sample groups the app launches with. Hopefully there will be an update!

Knocks my socks off!. I have not used this app for one or more decades because I just could not find it. Other apps kept being shown in my searches. I finally got my search right & this is even more fun to use than when I first used it!!!! Just get it… 💓

My app is frozen. All of a sudden crashed while I was trying to edit my notes. This really s**ks bc I can’t enter any more notes or, for that matter, do anything with this. A real shame and disappointment since I found this to be really useful until then. Useless now. Hope you developers can fix it.

Something I needed (and wanted!) but didn’t know it.... Had no idea this app existed, but of course, I use post-it notes all the time for a multitude of reasons. I use a variety of colors and sizes, and they are a constant on my desk — both at home and (pre-COVID19) at my office at work. And, now, here they are in electronic form on my iPhone. Brilliant! Thank you!

It has widgets!. Pretty fun to create little stickies and move them around. I actually prefer having. This widget front and center for my upcoming three things. Never thought I would use this over my to-do list or reminders but when stickies are made....things get done. Also super easy to organize by color and make multiple lists.

Ninja Qaulity App. Finally, an app that’s useful it’s functional it serves a great purpose. I really love this app. It’s so cool it has so many different options and features in settings that you can fit in TAYLOR to your very needs you should use this app you will not be disappointed I give it to NINJA approval.

Brain Injury Helper!. I am blown away by the features in this 100% free app! I suffered a brain injury that messes with short term memory. Since then I have found Post-it’s to help by being able to both write down quick notes and stick to doors and such to remind myself on the way to work, home etc. little did I know this simple looking app captures any notes I snap a pic of, as well as multiple notes at the same time! THEN IT SOMEHOW RELIABLY TRANSLATES MY TERRIBLE HANDWRITING TO TEXT! I love this app, having a digital archive of my notes is so handy and the widget is great! You can set a “favorite” note for the widget so you can see it right on your Home Screen! Love this app, thanks Post-it team!

Changes. I would suggest a couple things for the app. First, it would be nice to have spell check when typing in the post it note. Also, the ability to change a font size, or make a header or title and then the body of the note would be nice. Right now whatever is typed into the note is one font size with no option to change bold, tabs, or different text options. Simple to use, but maybe too simple?

slightly disappointed. Ive been looking for an app just like this and was pleased to find it.I immediately created a board and put a sticky note into it, but there was a feature that gave me confusion and i feel that it is unnecessary and should be a side option rather than a default. The groups within the board are very unneeded and interfere with the cleanliness and simplicity of the boards. The group feature within the board should be change to be optional so I can maneuver the app easily and quickly

Seems like a good idea but…. I downloaded this expressly for the widget and the fact I could hand-write the notes. I cannot figure out for the life of me how to add a note to the widget! I have long pressed it, I have gone into the app and looked everywhere including the little outbox icon, and scoured the FAQs. The widget says “Add favorite notes through the Post-It app.” I have sent a message to support so we will see how that goes.

Organization central!. Physical Post-Its have always been my go-to method for organization—but sometimes a kid will move notes or a reminder will inadvertently be thrown out. I even misplace the pad itself! This app solves all those problems, plus it has helped me condense and organize 3000 reminders into a system I can navigate. PERFECT solution, and I can’t believe it’s free.

Glitchy/not syncing between devices. This is a cool concept and I love it for brainstorming. However, I spent a lot of time today customizing different boards and was trying to get it synced (via iCloud) and it wouldn’t work. Then I went back to my originally device where I made all of my boards and everything was gone. 😑😤 hopefully they’ll can fix the glitches. I might try again in the future.

Post-it Notes. I have been wanting this for my iPad and I love it. I have one suggestion that would make it better. Put a tiny number on the lower right corner of the desktop app icon to alert the user to the number of open notes waiting to be dealt with. I forget stuff easily and it would serve as a reminder much the same as the email icon alerts to new mail.

Could be better. I want to have the ability to have multiple post it’s on my cell phone screen. I will type in what I want to write and a lot of times it does not convert to my Home Screen even though I have starred it to pin it there. Only useful when it works. Need more buttons for more direct commands. Not very user friendly.

Great free app with widget. This app has no annoying ads nor subscriptions. It has a variety of colors to write or type on. You can organize your notes how you like. It also has a great ipad widget to see notes instantly and even edit notes. The perfect post it, quick note app.

Note color choice. This app is really good. The only thing I would like to be able to change the colors and more different styles of posted notes. I would like to be able to do darker colors like on my favorite colors is a dark green or a red. maroon. also, I was wondering about how to get more post colors in a darker format for this app if it’s all possible thanks colorblind

Great app but needs Windows version. This is a great app for quick notes and has helped me stop wasting paper...but if I’m on a Windows computer and need to jot something down I have to find an iOS device. Suggestion would be for those that use iCould drive on Windows, a post-it app on Windows that opens and saves with iCloud Drive so it’s accessible and synced across all devices 😀 Thanks

Lost All Notes!. Used this app for important notes and information. I have suffered some memory issues due to strokes so I need a place for reminders easily at hand, and PostIt worked great…..until it didn’t. I opened today and my boards were totally gone!! I couldn’t find them anywhere. I looked in my iCloud storage PostIt folder, not there. It’s also totally frustrating that there is no “help” or “contact us” place ANYWHERE in this app! So incredibly frustrating!!! They have an app “feedback” which is your best shot. We will see. Until then, I’m sunk!

One of the best apps I have used. This app creates user delight! I didn’t have to create any login or provide any email id to get started. Just download the app and start making post-it notes. It is very close to the paper experience. Very well designed, fast and intuitive app. Loving it so far.

👏almost👏perfect👏 but only scans one size of note.. It does the thing it says it does (scan 3x3 Post It notes en masse), and does it well. The one feature I need that it doesn't do so well is scan those smaller canary yellow notes, which I use much more. In the scanning process, I would wish for the ability to distinguish between 3x3 notes & 2x3 notes. I know 3M makes a ton of sizes & shapes of note, but I think the 3x3 & 2x3 are the most standard & broadly applied.

Practically perfect in every way. I downloaded this 2 minutes ago and it is already EXACTLY what I needed. I hated making a new note in the notes app for daily to do lists. This makes it much easier and the fact that it’s a widget is precisely what I was looking for!! Can’t give it enough stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s cool (but...). Very straight forward and cool. A very good start. However it’d be cool if we could switch between pen types (different widths, styles) and had access to a highlighter function (with customizable colors). Also the base colors for the pens are very frustrating. These are all kind of secondary features but they’d go a long way towards finishing touches. Also if we could draw on the board behind the stickies to create relational maps etc.

Profoundly Unimaginative. Yeah, post-it notes, but I already have the real ones. There is so much more this app could be if the UX was better and the functionality was extended just a little. For example… Creating and deleting notes and groups is confusing and prone to error. You can’t turn a note over to put details on the back. Handwriting recognition simply transcribes a hand-written not into it’s title. What is the usefulness of that? This strikes me as a me-too “we need an app” product. Very very disappointing, and its been this way for a couple of years now.

Handy, but missing vital features. As the title says, the app is handy, and allows for some nice organization. It is missing the ability to duplicate or otherwise copy notes, which is a necessity for any decent note-taking app. It also doesn’t seem to be compatible with the split screen functionality for iPad, which is disappointing, since it could be incredibly useful to have 2 different boards open at the same time.

App crash. I have spent time enjoying this app. I am a project manager I built several boards. To say that were important to me. When in which took me a couple of hours to write down and categorize and prioritize. I don’t know what happened on the outside but the app clearly crashed. When it opened back up and I had access to it all of my boards were gone and in- recoverable. As a project manager looking for a quick Jan ban board. I will be not look in your way you’re recommending this app. Time is money when your project manager.

This would be five stars, but just like my data, my satisfaction is gone.. I love the app, it’s all I need for putting together stories and ideas, jotting down information, etc. But then all the joy I had with it vanished. All my information. All the ideas I had been jotting down, all of it was gone. I had a blank board where I had stored the information for a complex story I was developing. Now I’m trying to figure out if I even remember all the pieces.

Where have you been all my life??. I have so many thoughts and ideas throughout the course of one day that I have never truly been able to harness. When an idea bubble floats up I have to capture it quickly and with minimal distraction to the bubble or it will pop. Crack open a note, use my stylus to jot down one or two words, and organize it into a board later. Simply SIMPLE. And colorful!

Post its everywhere.. I love to write important dates and info in post-it. In order to avoid loosing those notes, I used to take pictures of them, until I discover the post-it app. I do not lost my notes anymore, and I can organize them. I just wish I could choose/create my own colors and being able to erase different sizes of eraser.

“No Post-It Notes Found”. So I take it that this app is only meant for post-it notes that are colored similar to the garden variety color scheme of post-it notes sold in brick and mortar stores. I have some BIC Post-it notes where they have a company’s logo at the bottom and it kept saying the post-it note “could not be found” however it’s clearly on my vision board on my desk… Seems shady to me.

Perfection!. Update: fixed my issue! Thank you! This is my most used productivity app. It has earned its way into my Home Screen. For some reason the text wrapping is really narrow and only on new notes; if I open an old note the text wrapping is still wider. Unsure how to fix this. Great app otherwise!

Good but can be great. I like the app, but I barely use it. I spend a lot of time in other note taking apps so it doesn’t feel natural to me having to open post it. It would be great if we were able to create or edit notes in the post-it widget; that would make note taking easier and faster and more like the post-it experience. Anyway, great work, just a suggestion!

5 Star — that horrible font though.. Everything about this app is excellent - way better than I thought it was going to be. The boards make organization so easy. But the default font for Text is horrible when you type notes. I get that it’s suppose to look handwritten (with a fat sharpie it looks like, lol) but it’s really unappealing. At least give the option for a normal looking font.

Great app. This app is great, I think my favorite part is being able to put a note on my Home Screen. One thing I would really like to have added is different font colors and the ability to individually change the size of font and type on the same note. You guys at Post-It have always rocked, thank you! 😀
