Amazing app for learning. It’s a brilliant idea, and I can’t thank the devs enough for making soo much available for the free subscription. I’m trying to learn Arabic without spending much money (at a transitionary job, and I’m an Arab who doesn’t speak the language). This app makes it so much easier for me to not only pick up vocab, but also learn how it fits contextually in real sentences. The fact that it adds the pronunciation is a phenomenal bonus too (I always guess wrong). Thank you!

Astonishing app. This is one of those apps where it is almost criminal that it's free. It's disrupting an industry of dictionaries, phrase books and guides. The fact that one can look up not just words but phrases and receive examples and translations in different contexts is simply amazing. A real game changer for language acquisition. I found a few (Italian) words not on there but the coverage is excellent. So fast. And it's free! Criminal.

Helpful, but doesn’t work with headphones. This is a great translation app and has been especially helpful for conjugation, and I would hope to see it added for some of the other languages. My main complaint is that whenever I play any audio from the app it will always play out of the phone speakers and not through your headphones. A small addition I would like to see is to add the romanization for some of the languages especially the Chinese Pinyin.

App won’t allow me to upgrade. I used to have Premium, but forgot to change my payment info when I switched banks. Now I’m in the app hitting every Upgrade button I can find, and nothing happens. I went to the website to upgrade, but the price on the website is almost double compared to inside the app ($3.49/mo in app vs $6.49/mo on website). Why would I do that?

It’s really good app. It’s better app for learn new words , you can see a lot of examples and many transcriptions . It’s so good . And also you can learn new words . Learn & Practice sections don’t work. For the life of me I can’t understand what’s going on in the “Practice” and “Learn” areas of the app. Sentences and words flash across the screen but there is no clear objective to why. A small explanation popping up would be helpful. Also, if you press the microphone button in those areas it doesn’t speak the translation or takes forever to do so. I have no idea how I’m supposed to practice or learn anything without bare words on a screen. I can read a Spanish newspaper if I wanted that. Otherwise the search feature and examples section are pretty great.

Need support help. Hi. This app, which I use and enjoy, shows a picture (supposed to be me?). I’m not sure where and why. I didn’t authorize any pictures. Please remove the picture. I tried to do this but there is no way for the consumer to remove this personal information—at least no way I could see after an extensive search. Thank you.

Functionality problems. 1. Recently stopped to work context translation in iPadOS 13.3.1 (safari, news). Still shown in share menu but doesn’t open translation window. 2. For a long time is not included in share menu for books app. Used to be there. Thanks for quick developer item 1 fix/response. Upgraded to 3 stars in expectation for item 2 reaction. Unfortunately regardless to announced books app functionality I can’t find Reverso in share context menu for any book in my books library. Will be monumentally sorry if it’s my fault and am ready to upgrade for higher level upon prompt. Thanks for prompt response again. Probably makes sense to upgrade description (remove iBooks with reference to Apple’s role :) ). Having no problems with functionality for now upgrading to ‘full-star’ level.

Lots of different examples. My favorite thing about this app is that it gives several real examples of the word used in various sources. I use this at work to translate documents from English to Spanish, and I like seeing similar the words I search being used in similar scenarios as my needs. I could live without the ads, though.

Serious lack of human factors in design. Navigation between features (dictionary, translation, context, conjugation) is very user-unfriendly. In the Translator feature, changing languages is impossible if text is already entered in the input field. Recalling a word from the history recalls the word and the language, and it’s impossible to recall the word for translation in another language. Very frustrating .

Useful in Russia. There are a lot of mistakes in the translations. So if you don’t know Russian doesn’t help in every situation. This is a great app for an intermediate or advanced user however. I’m also noticing that Google translate is much slower here in Moscow and this app is very quick. I love the idea of presenting example sentences. It is absolutely essential to learning. This app has great ideas and I’ve been waiting for something like it for a long time. I’ve already submitted at least a dozen small changes and fixes to the translations. That’s an awesome advantage of this app. It does still need some work however.

Translates in context-you learn the real language. Wayyyy better than google translate. Gives multiple examples. A great learning tool, especially for spoken language learning, because it has lots of colloquialisms in its database. I used this all the time when I was living in France and it helped me learn French. It also helped me in Portugal, Spain, Hungary, and Germany.

Tired of the bugs. I’d been using this app for over a year and used to love it. In the quiz section I had an “excellent” rating and had over 200 words memorized, but now, randomly, I have a “good” rating showing only 30 words memorized. In the past I would go through and correct the lists, rechecking “memorized” again and again for each individual word, to show that I had memorized them already. But the bug is continually happening, so today I give up. Also, I have noticed several faulty English to Spanish translations. I’m a native English speaker, with Intermediate to advanced Spanish language skills. If you are a beginner, there is no way for you to know when these translations are inaccurate. I don’t know how to upgrade for possible bug fixes. Instead of deleting this app so I can install a possibly upgraded version, my version just goes to the cloud and then downloads back the same way.

Amazing app, but seriously this many ads??. I’ve been a user for about a year and a half and over a few updates, Reverso has been prompting many ads (almost after each translation/favorite). Recently, after I used the “speech to text” option (about 10 times), it locked me out! Each time I push the microphone button now, it refers me to the “free trial for 7-days then 2.99” screen. I loved this app but I would greatly appreciate it if they wouldn’t shove the subscription in my face every time I go to translate.

Almost perfect!. Overall, I love this app. I love how many options it gives for examples of the way the translated word or phrase could be used. I use it to translate back and forth from English to French. I use it enough that I have the subscription. The only thing that would make this app better is if I could choose between formal and informal. French has different ways of speaking to someone based on who they are to you (as do many languages) but Reverso always gives me the formal translation which I rarely use. I usually then have to work a bit harder to find the correct phrasing so I don’t make who I’m speaking to uncomfortable by addressing them incorrectly. Other than that, amazing!

helpful app.. well organized app, with just one simple drawback ,when you search for a word it just gives you the examples and its translations. Without giving you the definition of the word you are searching for. It would be so helpful if you guys considered to do so.

super helpful!. editing my review, i previously gave 4* because I was having a lot of issues with the voice recognition cutting me off mid-word. but i just hadn’t found the correct setting and the developer let me know how to fix it. thanks!!

please offer single purchase option. Please offer a premium version purchase option without requiring a subscription and I am sure 100 times more people will buy it. It‘s nice and works well, but it's not irreplaceable and certainly not worth 100s of dollars to have it available for occasional use over several years.

Bugs. The app doesn’t work on iPad; I can’t hit enter after I’ve typed in my search; nothing happens. Searching only works if I tap a suggestion. In addition, the copy-from-clipboard feature (not one I would ever want on by default, but it is) asks every five minutes or more if the app can snoop at my clipboard. Extremely aggravating. I didn’t even know this was possible, so I didn’t understand what was happening and almost uninstalled the app outright before I realized it was a setting. I like the service, but not the app.

Outstanding for putting vocabulary in context. Excellent app. When you search a word, you get not only definitions but many sentences putting the word in context. Creates flash cards and ability to test your retention of vocabulary items you select. Best second language vocabulary app I’ve ever seen. Highly recommended.

Excellent app for verbs references, but there are a lot of negative content for word usage examples.. I didn’t put the five stars for two reasons: 1. The examples of word usage are so strange, a lot of times are quite negative or even creepy. 2. My annual subscription stoped working on the 11th month. It still shows that I have payed subscription until November 1st, but my app is already full of advertisements in October. Please fix the issue. Thank you.

Even the free version is way Better than the ones I paid for !. Stable, smooth and very easy to track the view history , the audio quality is greater than most other apps. 5 stars

Great app. This is a really good app if you need to translate something. It helps so much with school work or homework. Fantastic!. Unbelievably helpful for language learners – especially the function that allows you to slow down the speed of the voice that reads back your requested translation. This is my number one, go-to app!

Some bugs to work out. I paid for the premium subscription to get no ads and more examples of words used in context and I find the app very useful. But there are some frustrating bugs. I have had to uninstall and reinstall the app a few times. Usually when I have done that it solves the problems temporarily but the last time I did a reinstall I lost all of my word history which prevents me from reviewing vocabulary, an important part of learning a language. It also did not fix the latest bug which are seemingly random lines in the history section being blacked out.

Bugs and Chronology. I loved this app because I’ve been using it for months and gathered a pretty robust vocabulary set for memorizing but while using it I experienced lags and slow responses that frustrated me and made me redownload to see if a newer version update would fix that. After I signed in I realized all my vocabulary, awards, and progress was gone. Please fix this!

Great app. I’ve been a subscriber for years, but I ran into a problem.. Hello. This app has been great in learning languages with the most contemporary context examples from all sorts of media. My issue is that I lost some of my keyboard options on mi iPhone12. Even though I have turned on all of my different language keyboards in my settings (both, phone and app settings), the only keyboards I can use in the app are English and Emoji. Please help me type in other languages again. Without other keyboards, I lose a lot of the app functionality.

Need to be able to see romanizations for non-Romance languages. While this app is extremely useful in many areas, it still needs some improvements. For instance when learning any of the East Asian languages (Chinese, Japanese, or Korean) either through a quiz or from any of the provided examples, you can’t tap on any of the words and check their romanizations (which would assist in knowing how to pronounce those words). Even though this is implemented in the translation part of the app (where the romanization of the entire translation is provided just below the translation itself), it would be helpful to have this implemented everywhere. Not only that, but also be able to tap on individual words (to show a pop up or something) in the translations or the provided examples so you can see more about that word (such as its definitions, or its own romanization for any of the East Asian languages) so you can better understand which words have which meanings in the provided sentence.

Good, but could use significant improvement. My main issue is that a huge percentage of the example translations into English from Portuguese are incorrect. Often the issue is that some English slang has been inserted inappropriately. Other times the sentence translated is completely unrelated, or the original or translation differ significantly (usually one version omits part of the text). Fortunately, I can detect this, but it might not be clear to beginners. A related issue is that when I try to report the errors, there’s not an option to describe this easily. Another issue that just came up is that sometimes I no longer can copy and paste translated phrases. And at other times I get constant notifications that Reverso has pasted text into whatever app I’m using (not sure what it is doing, if anything). I have the Premium version, so this is particularly annoying.

My favorite app! Must have for tutors and ESL students. I’ve tried so many different apps and dictionaries. And accidentally came across Reverso website. I couldn’t believe that I finally found what I’ve been looking for!!! Now this is a number one app for me on my phone. And I’m secretly obsessed with it. Thank you so much for making it so intelligent and easy to use! We need more apps like that!

Best translation app. This app gives translations with multiple examples, and more quickly than other apps. If the word is misspelled there are suggestions so one can still find the definition. In the examples the translated word is highlighted which lets one scan the examples more quickly. I always use this app for finding out the meanings of words I don’t know when I read in Italian because I’ve found that it’s the best, most helpful app to translate words and phrases.

This app is the best!!!. My Russian isn’t the best anymore, so when I call my grandparents, we will be talking and then I’ll be like “uhhh uhhhhhh” trying to remember how to say a word or phrase in Russian, but this app comes through, and I always got it open when I’m calling them so I can quickly look up stuff I need and not waste precious international call minutes trying to remember a certain word in Russian.

Useful but annoying and persistent. Very useful app. I’m not sure if there are other apps that are like it, and I haven’t checked. But this app will make sure to ask you 10,000 times per day if you can allow tracking for them. No matter how many times you say no, it will keep asking you. It will also ask you a million times per day to “make a free account”. I finally made a free account just to shut it up and so that I don’t slam my phone into a brick wall out of frustration. Now their newest thing to beg from me 10,000 times per day is for me to upgrade to the premium version. Idk if I’ve ever had an app that begs so persistently for you to give them money one way or another. It really breaks the user experience and makes me want to just use another app and forget this one even exists. I will now be searching the App Store to find a replacement.

Awesome, seriously.. This app is awesome. It translates what you type in, and also gives you lots of examples with the keyword of your choice. I use another app for English-Arabic, but this one gives more advanced-level examples and what’s even better is, it does all this with the minimal ad. I love it :) thanks developers!

Learning and cooking.. Update. Good for learning Spanish terms and finding instructions on Polish sauce mixes. ========== Flying saucer & “Premium version 1 month” Reverso Translate is a wonderful app. It’s good to use. However, in my purchase history, there is an app icon of a flying saucer. The app was named, “Premium Version 1 Month.” Say, what??? Since I’m not into UFOs, I did not know what the charge was for. Sooooo…searched the App Store for an app titled “Premium version 1 month,” and the search yielded the Reverso Translate app, which I had subscribed to for one month. Suggest changing your purchase history receipts to show name of the app.

One suggestion. I love this app dearly especially bc I love learning languages, having example sentences are gold. Especially for grammar...one this I wish they had, was the ability to click a word in an example sentence, and like go into a deep searching hole of looking up words in sentences that are context example. I’d probably be on the app for 30+ minutes to an hour.

The best. I love this app. I used to use plain old Google translate, but we all know that sometimes Google translates literally, not colloquially, and that can be confusing when you’re dealing with words that have more than one meaning (in either language)! My favorite part of this app is the context sentences that it gives you after a translation. I (believe) it pulls context from all over the web and shows you how the word, phrase, or sentence you are translating works in real, non-academic speaking. In other words, in casual speech / writing. I think this app is great. If you’re a serious language learner, you need this in your toolbox. It helps the learner pick up abstract meaning in sentences, that might not always come across when you’re translating “academically”. Thanks Reverso!

A few issues, but overall pretty helpful.. The app is great overall. I wish it was a bit more precise when defining for specific verbal conjugations, noun declensions, and case usage in Russian. Also, it’s been glitchy lately, closing down after only one or two words translated. Overall, it was worth the fee for sure. Finally, the example sentences seem to be a bit off in translation; additions to the English that have no clear origin in the Russian.

Helps Impress Mother-in-Law. This app is very good and helpful especially with the Dutch language (the Spanish ones are good too). There is a verbatim translation feature that is not always accurate for long, complex, hyper specific phrases but it still beats google translate by many miles. The most helpful aspect is the context based translations that give you examples of natural sounding sentences. Even if there’s not an exact match, there is something similar enough to allow you to build your own proper sentences. For example: If you want to say “Popcorn is my new favorite food, the context feature might offer a native-speaker quality sentence for “Salmon is my new favorite food,” while the translator supplies the exact word or thing (rather than the whole sentence). That way you’re sure it sounds natural and not Siri-supplied.

Good app with serious problem. I keep getting a prompt to buy reverse so premium however when I try to do it I get the message that in app purchases are not permitted. Then when I go to the App Store, and try to purchase the premium addition, I get thrown back to the app itself with the same message. If you really want to sell the premium version, you need to fix this problem. It has been going on for months and I thought it would be fixed by now. Since it hasn’t, I am writing this review. I certainly hope someone reads them.

Truly a great translation and learning app!!. Hands down the best translation and learning app I've used. Buy the Premium subscription. You will not regret it. One small improvement would help greatly, though. The app advertises a listening feature—the microphone icon—to help users hone their pronunciation. Depending on your settings, you may have to enable that feature separately on iOS. However, the Reverso Context preference pane doesn’t expose a toggle to enable the microphone. If that were fixed, this app would be perfect. Thanks

Great app, helped me through high school. I took French my freshman - junior year and used it whenever I needed it for my homework or studying for a test, never had a problem with it. Now that I graduated this year I don’t use it as much but would 10/10 recommend, not only to people in school but also for those who are trying to learn a new language on their own.

Too many bugs, too many issues. I purchased this app for several months, and I love the flash card feature. Unfortunately, it has way too many bugs and issues with the algorithm. I communicated word issues to the company, but I saw no changes or improvements. In fact, the more I use the app, the more I find incongruities and bugs. Google Translate may have less features and less contextual examples, but it is faster and it is free.

Translations are good but forget about learning. The practice and learn areas have sentences that fly past faster than I could understand them even if they were in my native language. You can’t stop them or slow them down. Come on people, how hard is that to fix? You go to all the trouble to collect these translated sentences and then plow through them at 1 second each??

best language app. The best way to learn French quicker than normal. Has everything you need and the many examples of the word used is invaluable. Wish the tutorials were better. Still trying to figure out how the “learn” function works. But otherwise, the app is the best out there - and I’ve tried many of them.

My favorite, but not perfect. It appears that you removed support for non English keyboards? At least, I’m not longer able to change the keyboard within the app on my device. That’s a massive drawback to those translating from Arabic and Russian. Please restore that functionality. I would give you a hundred stars if it weren’t for that; this app is really a pleasure to use, and it offers insights on each translation that I think no other service can provide. Seriously, learn to use this app. It’s one of the best translators I’ve ever used—and certainly the best translator with this degree of versatility. EDIT: This was an iOS issue, as the developer has very helpfully informed me. 5 stars. You need this app.

Disappointed with upgrade. I upgraded all suggested features if this app, thinking I would get voice narration of the full text I had imported (twice). The narrator stops after a couple of sentences, and the app doesn’t seem to remember the texts I have imported by camera. In one area I see that I can change speed of reader‘s voice, but that doesn’t seem to apply to text I have imported. Within the app, I find no „help“ or „support“, which is disappointing, as I signed up for premier membership. It’s hard to intuitively find the features I thought I had purchased. I would have preferred to contact the developer directly, rather than in review, but I don’t see where you can do that.

I love this app, but…. I love this app, but sometimes (and by sometimes I mean at least once each time I use it) it will freeze during either the quiz or the learning function leaving me unable to move onto the next question or flash card. It’s a 5 star app if the developers could manage to repair that one quirk. Thank you.

Reverso Review. Absolutely one of the greatest translation apps on the AppStore in particular for German, can’t say much for the other languages, but I really do appreciate how it will give examples of some phrases or words as well as the translation of the sentences provided. The other features like the Phrasebook are the cherry on top. This app is A++ and 100x better than google translate. Thank you

Muy useful. Reverso is the antidote to stiff, out-of-date, inflexible, bookish phrases and dialogues. Just type in what you're looking for whether it be mundane or naughty and it won't fail. Teachers at night courses or schools refuse to teach their students a very relevant side to their second languages: real conversation, exclamations, phrases, idioms, non-bookish vocabulary alternatives, and shortenings that everyone uses yet traditional educators and resources completely skip over. What happens? The learners become disillusioned because they can't apply it to their life so they stop learning. With Reverso you cure all that by injecting life back into language learning. Call them a lady of the night! Shut their damn mouths! Tell em ya gonna take a pee right now or that they're a lazy poo factory! Maybe you wanna call your boyfriend or girlfriend cute names? Yaass my little tootsie rolls; find all those naughty translations on Reverso and more! Seriously though: add Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, and Korean.

Fantastic and accurate. Very fast to provide a whole range of meanings ... With excellent examples to demonstrate different nuances in meaning. Great thing also is each example has audio attached so one can also get the correct pronunciation 🤗

Unable to set target language. Initially I had the app set to translate from a Mandarin to English, and it appeared to function ok. When I went to change the app to translate from English to Mandarin, Mandarin was not available as an option. Hence only 2 stars

Great Italian translator.. This app is much better than the one I paid for. I trust this app and it’s easy to use.

There’s a danish flag next to Dutch... Good otherwise

My go-to app for learning Italian. After trying various other language apps, Reverso is my number 1 when it comes to correct contextual vocabulary and translation. After a couple of years using the free app, I upgraded to Premium. It’s been an invaluable aid for learning Italian at every level, including advanced. My teacher even uses it in class when she is stumped for the correct word to use. The additional features such as saving favourite words and phrases plus learning modules and synonyms is icing on the cake.

Brilliant app. This is a fantastic app. So many features and free. Upgrade is very reasonable too! I am learning 2 languages, a beginner in one and a more advanced level in another and this caters for both so well. Do yourself a favour and get it!

Must have app. My partner speaks several languages fluently & put me onto this app which she still uses to clarify new words. I am new to Itilain & it has helped me with both the written language as well as the verbal. If you are mispronouncing the word or phrase you can type it in & get a verbalised response with the correct pronunciation Helps speed up your written homework also & give you confidence that you are correct

First app I’ve wrote a review on.. This is an amazing app with amazing features. Such a helpful tool for learning a new language. Somethings very wrong if your not in the hundreds of thousands of downloads or more already. The app is very easy to navigate. Best tool.

Good app!. Annoying bit is that it reboots if the app has been idle for a while. Some the Spanish to English translations aren't very good.

bugs. paying for the premium version i didn’t expect it to hang every time i use it. have uninstalled and reinstalled and doesn’t fix it. there is no customer service which is disappointing

Use it all the time. I write and speak a second language to friends in Europe and this helps so much not just with the words but the grammar and the context of phrases. Easy and accurate. Highly recommended.

A necessary tool for language. A great addition to the simpler single word translators, as it shows how a single word can be translated differently at times.

Very useful. It's great to be able to read actual sentences containing the phrase you need rather than trying to figure out which word to use from several in a dictionary, out of context. Putting the words or phrases in context is brilliant.

Almost perfect, one reservation. This is better than a translator as it lets you explore words in context. I wish it had fewer dry, long-winded examples that seem to be from business reports or economics textbooks.

Reverso - brillant adjunct to learning French. Love this app. Thought it just did single words. Does sentences and gives lots of different examples.

Very user friendly. I like how this app provides numerous different possible ways that a word can be translated and then demonstrates how each version would be used in a sentence. It's also handy how if I type a French word (for example) and translate it to English this will work and I can then type an English word to translate to French and it automatically swap the 'from' and 'to' languages around. The ability to listen to pronunciations is also great.

The right one for me. I’ve been using Reverso for 3 years and as premium member since last year. Compared with other services, especially the traditional vocabularies, I think is by far the best when it comes to be 100% sure about the correct use of a word in a sentence. This is due to the several examples in context, which other services never provide, not at that extension at least. A clever way to explore, validate and learn. Also, I really like all the extra features they keep on implementing, like the most recent learning tool based on your saved words. Definitely one of my favourite apps.

Reverso review. Reverso is very helpful in my work, teaching French. As a fluent speaker, it offers me synonyms and in-context examples, although I agree with the reviewer who finds rather too many examples from economic or technical language. I have had a few connection issues and found support in resolving these somewhat lacking. Otherwise, I enjoy and value my Reverso subscription and often recommend it to friends. Phil

Way easier than google translate. It’s quick and gives examples for each word so you know you’re using it in the right context, also tells you wether they’re verbs nouns ect. I would definitely recommend it if you’re learning another language

Damn straight. This app, is leagues ahead of many other translation apps. Be it that the language choice is slightly limited, each included language is covered extensively and comes with free flash cards for easy learning. I fell in love with this app the moment I used it, damn straight.

Best Italian translator - hands down!. I have been using this app and Reverso voice translator for the best part of ten years and upgraded to Premium a number of years ago. I have recommended it to so many people I have studied with, and many of them have said they’ve recommended it to their friends! If I have a Premium account/version does that include a Premium subscription to Voice Translator, because I saw in that app it is the reverse - if you upgrade to Premium Voice translator you automatically get Premium subscription to this app. Thank you.

Best Translation App. There is no app that can compare to his one. It is the best and far superior to any of the others. Gives proper translation to phrases and words.

REVERSO IS GREAT!. Reverso is great! The dictionary is more comprehensive than any other digital dictionary I have used.

Premium license issues. Unfortunately, premium hasn’t been working on my mobile since I extended the license this year. But it works on my desktop. Tried to contact helpdesk a few weeks ago. No luck!

Reverso and Brainscape are absolutely invaluable. I use Reverso in French and English, exclusively on my iPhone and then save phrases to Brainscape as flash cards (also in iPhone). My system works very well. Both apps are HIGHLY recommended.

Great Application. Great application. I used Reverso Context web page before and it was very helpful and I am amazed to find an app too. Really helps. Worth a try. It gives you the word you look for in a sentence so it is clear how to use it with among other words and prepositions. Essential for anyone learning or trying to get familiar with another language than their mother tongue.

Great app. Useful and free

Full of pushy UX anti-patterns. Their translation service is really good especially at finding contextual examples of words and idioms. The recent redesign of the app is pretty good too. What I'm giving this review 1 star for is for the pushy UX anti patterns that pervade this app. Two examples: 1) They keep pushing you to allow ad-tracking at least once per app cold start. 2) And they keep pushing you to sign up for their subscription service literally EVERY time you favorite a word or sentence. Look, I get it. You gotta make money and devs gotta eat. I'm a mobile developer myself. And I actually did have a subscription for a year. But this level of pushiness takes it way too far. If you're a product manager reading this review, please back off this level of aggressiveness or at least A/B test it or talk to your users. I refuse to throw any money towards any business that has this kind of aggressive attitude. You can lock features behind paywalls: nothing wrong with that. But don't pester or bully users to the extent that the app is almost unusable.

Ads are blocking access. I just gave a 5 stars but then I had another ad that block me from using Reverso even after I was redirected to a website (Fresh Plus) I still couldn’t get rid of ad even when I deleted the browser tab, Reverso still blocked my use of app with the same ad. I just deleted Reverso for the second time in two days. One more and I am done. Reverso was an excellent app.

No conjugator shortcut, missing tenses. I can’t believe that there is no shortcut to the conjugator. I need to first translate a word from the opposite language and then click a specific icon to view conjugations. And once I am at the verb conjugations many tenses are missing compared to the web version. In French the passé composé tense is missing - are you kidding me?!?!?

Better than I experted. I’m learning French, so, every time I search a word the app will tell me if the noun is feminine or masculine… I really needed that. Also, if the word is a verb, it will show me the conjugation. It’s just AMAZING.

Excellent App. This multifaceted app is rich in resources: a thesaurus, a conjugator, with well enunciated European Portuguese pronunciations, illustrative sentences to mark as favourites. Additionally it has numerous source languages. I hope they will also provide users with a Word of the Day.

The app is getting worse. I usually use the app to check my self and translate from Russian to English and vice verse. When I just loaded the app around a year ago, the quality of translation was really good. I was able to translate longer phrases and the app shows pretty cool samples. However, for the last few months I started to notice that quality of translation is getting worse. Samples are not that nice as before and usually contain mistakes or not fully translating. At the beginning this app was really nice alternative to google translate. It was more proper and better quality, but now I’m getting disappointed. Hope you’ll improve the quality of your app soon.

Facile d’utilisation. Traduction rapide et facile d’usage

Terrible App. Just 1 example of many…Basic cut and paste that other apps like Google Translate understand the importance of for texting others in other languages. I type in two words and I can’t even cut and paste since the last app update. Even if you have the clipboard option turned on - why is the clipboard option turned off by default anyway? All it gives are examples but not just a straight translation of just the words so you can copy them. It only works when you type in a long translation that isn’t an example they have. They don’t even read properly their support cases or they’d understand the problem correctly.

Love it!. Great app, allows me to learn words’ right meanings, no other translator could do it so clearly. Though I have a suggestion: I wish there was a way to turn off playing my voice while learning words with memorizing cards. It’s not a secret that hearing their own voice is uncomfortable for most people. I would be SO grateful if you added this, as this app is almost perfect for me.

Verb Masters. Almost every site or app that you can use for Spanish to English translation today, refers you back to the root verb when you attempt to translate it’s many forms. Not so with this one. This makes researching your translation much less painless. This is my go to go-to app now - me encanta!

Very dependable. I use it throughout the week to search little things I’m curious about or want to put into my German vocabulary. And have compared it with other top rated translators and it is among the tops if not the best.

Snappy. Great app, easy to use, snappy and nuanced results. I am fluent in 4 languages, but sometimes I remember a specific word in only one language. Reverso gives me the accurate translation every time.

Amazing App. I have looked at a lot of approaches to learning another language, and this one scores high because of its robust capabilities to provide a learner with great tools which are so easy to use they are almost intuitive!

Disappointed by the recent addition of ads. The app is still good but why do I have now these full-screen pages of absolutely useless ads. You have to wait about 10 seconds to be able to tap a little cross on the cornes TWO times to make them disappear. Such a bummer!

Great app. A few feature requests.. ניקוד for the Hebrew translations would be great. Please add the ability to immediately translate what’s in your clipboard without erasing the test that was previously in the search field. It’s so many steps with no discernible value.

Excellent. This is such an excellent app. You can look up a word and many examples come up with sentences on ways that the word is used. Also, you can look a word up and there are options of looking up the different ways to conjugate the word. Very comprehensive app.

Okay. I like this app although I had a problem when using it. The language option had none for Braille which is what I’d wanted which was a bummer. But other than that, I think this is very useful and helpful.

Wonderful app but…. It appears in an update you have mixed the Dutch flag for the Danish flag - that takes away from your professional look, please remember that Dutch and Danish are two separate languages and that the Dutch flag is red white and dark blue, the Danish flag is the red with the white cross.

Can’t say enough about it…. If only the premium option were cheaper … still, what comes free is super.

Nice app but needs to separate Brazilian & Euro Portuguese. I love that this app creates a flash card every time I translate a word. However, I’m learning Brazilian Portuguese so I cannot use the quiz function because it includes a lot of European Portuguese which is quite different from Brazilian Portuguese. If it would separate the two, the app would be perfect.

Best if it had.... So far I haven't been able to find a better app for translation purposes, it has everything I could wish for except one little thing: application of the phonetic alphabet. You just add that and this app is 5 stars all the way Btw, delete Google translate, its useless against Reverso.

Great for aspiring Interpreters. Excellent examples of every day terms in their daily context and usage. I have been using it more than any of the other three dictionarys that I have on my phone- highly recommend it!!

It’s the little things that count. This app is so helpful, particularly when grappling with prepositions and which word is needed to mean precisely what you want to say. I find the deeper I get into a language, the more I use it.

Very helpful. The examples of words/phrases in sentences are very helpful. The AI rephrase tool is awesome too— ahead of all the other translator apps. I only wish the app linked perfective—imperfective verbs in Russian. I have to go to the website for that.

Google Translate Who?. I am a native english speaker who lived and went to school in French in France for 6 years. Reverso helped get through all of that. It's helped me translate documents, it's helped me on vacations to Spanish speaking countries... it is honestly the superior translation app. Thank you reverso

So far good but the voice pronunciation feature doesn’t work. So far, it translates pretty well, but the voice pronunciation feature (sound icon) doesn’t work so I can’t here how the word is pronounced. Bummer.

Paid for upgrade but it’s not working. This is a great translation app and the upgrade is worth it, if you can get it to work. I paid for an upgrade which, according to the app, I have until May 2020 but I’m still seeing in-app ads and I’m not able to access the premium features. Not only that but I lost all of the saved data that I had from my prior premium subscription. Support for this problem seems to be nonexistent, hence the one star rating.

The translation app I always wanted. It goes further than translation. You have access to real colloquial phrases that the app searches for on the Internet. You see the phrases in the native context as found online. And with conjugation tables to boot. Love this app.

Fantastic App for Italian learners. This is a great app for anyone serious about learning Italian. I find that it is a must have to increase vocabulary and develop a deeper understanding of the language. The conjugation tool alone make this app a must have.

Liked the latest version but now I can’t find flash cards.. I used to love this app and liked it even more with the new design but now I think there was another update and I can’t find where to study my favorite vocab words which is half the reason I use it. Might be user error but still it should be easier to find.

Listen to me, do not pay for the premium!. I renewed my subscription on April 27th and we are now in June and I am still unable to acess the premium features. The app still says I need to upgrade when I have already done it! I have tried to contact them and trust me, THERE IS NO SUPPORT AT ALL. I have sent several emails, message on Facebook and Instagram, and nobody, not even an automatic answer, has helped me. So, if you are planning to renew your subscription, be ready to go through this.

Easily the Best language translator on iPhone. This translator app has it all, and it’s relatively easy to use. Translate one word, two words, three words, you know where I’m going with this... The apps UI is incredible, I am shocked that this app isn’t the first app you see when you search for a language translator app in the App Store. I have tried nearly all the main stay translator apps and this one makes the others look like they are sniffing glue in the art supply closet. Good Job on developing this substantial and thoroughly impressive app!

Just opened the app to see a Spanish translation and saw it automatically pasted. What happens when there's a password or private data in our clipboard? You've just sent it to your (likely poor security) servers. So where's our data being processed at?

Reverso once great now a flop. Beginning about a week ago Reverso suddenly begun to crash. My other apps are working well. Furthermore, one was once able to access the conjugations and the translation features by going through the settings button. However, when you do that now Reverso will prompt you to download their voice translation app. As a result, I have had to bookmark the conjugation feature through my Google app. Sorry, Reverso, you have some homework to do.

Copying constantly???. Ive always suggested this app because it’s one of my favorite translators as a multilingual college student! But it now keeps copying from my clipboard randomly and the notification is SO annoying and concerning to the point where I may delete the app entirely. Please consider fixing this!!!

Super useful to fortify new vocabulary. When I encounter a new word or phrase I can type it in Reverso and see multiple examples of its usage. I can then see what context the word/phrase is generally used in. Also get the pronunciation of the word and entire sentence. Better than any dictionary.

Best app of its type. Very good. I've used a lot of these in my Portuguese studies and this one is best. I had a subscription, but it expired. It seems to have gotten more expensive though, so I did not renew it. FYI, it freezes on some advertisements and you have to restart the app.

Premium upgrade doesn’t work. I concur with above review. I have paid twice for the upgrade. For a while the upgrade worked beautifully. After a few months, I started receiving messages to upgrade again, which I did. Now I have paid twice for Premium. Despite this, I receive ads constantly. AI has ruined Reverso. Since the introduction of AI (& particularly in the last few months - say, the beginning of summer ‘23), the translations have become worse than Google translate. I was considering buying a subscription, but I have no confidence in the more complex translations I’m doing now that my language is beyond the bare basics.
