Used to love it, now crashing and (null). I bought the pro version and it was great! Syncs with Feedly, so I can read on multiple devices after the demise of google reader. Full text caching and offline image caching generally worked well, but lately it has issues where the article doesn’t load and it just says “(null)” and the app crashes back to the home screen. On relaunching, it does the same thing with ever article you click on until clearing the cache, after which sometimes you can read 5-50 more articles without a crash. As of August 2018, it looks like the last app update was about 8 months ago. Hopefully the developer can find and fix the bug, because otherwise it would be 5 stars for me...

Best RSS Reader. I've been using it for years and although the updates are few and far between, the developer tries hard to fix bugs when new iOS releases come out. There's no really and new features that need to be added, it's perfect already. For the past year or so, none of the view options except "Full Articles on Web" worked. This update fixes the issue that prevented full text to be displayed - and even adds a workaround to sites that don't include the full text in the RSS feed anymore (in order to make you visit the full site to show ads) - when the "Full Text" option is selected now, the app will open the Safari View Controller with Reader View enabled. This is a clever, clever way to show the full article text without viewing the whole website or leaving the app. This is a great app that has been supported for years, and I would gladly pay a small annual fee ($20 or less) for a version that includes more frequent bug fixes. I would love to support this amazing developer more than just the one-time purchase price I paid years and years and years ago.

The best RSS app, but…. Have been using for years, found nothing better. I wish the internal browser worked better with bookmarking apps like Simplepin. I have to open the page in Safari, then bookmark. When I try to submit a request, I get an error that “my email is not set up”. What does that mean and how do I set up my email?

No longer updating. I’ve been using this app for several years and it worked great. For the last few months or more it has not been updated and there’s no way to contact the developer anymore. His website seems to be shut down. It is still being advertised and written about in various articles. I would say don’t buy it unless you can find out how to contact the developer.

Abandoned?. It looks like this is abandonware now. Website doesn’t load, hasn’t seen updates in two years. :( too bad, it was a really good RSS Reeder but not anymore.

The best. The best rss reader I’ve tried.

Works fine now. It appears as if the developer fixed the glitch that was found in the most recent version. Great app, which I rely on everyday.

Best RSS Reader. This reader (Version 4.3) is reliable and easy to use once it is set up. You can organize your feeds into related topics such as "Politics" or "Sports" or "Apple" or "Entertainment". It separates and highlights unread articles. You can tag articles of particular interest. Twice over the past several years, I reported a problem I was having and each time, the developer sent me a personal reply within a day and had the problem resolved immediately.

Solid RSS reader. I tried a few others, and this one was best. Worth what yo paid for it when the Google rss thing got killed, plus the hassle of setting up an oldreader account. Only feature I wish it had was a way to automatically mark as read any new items that have specific words in the title ("open thread," for example). But no rss reader has such a feature, so I can't really complain that this one doesn't. Five stars.

FeeddlerPro and theOldReader. FeedlerPro and theOldReader solved my problem when google stopped supporting rss. It’s been seamless for years. There was a recent UI bug that I had, but it was fixed within a couple of days. Much appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for the update!. Thought this app was dead. Thanks for the update. Still the best rss reader around by a mile.

Update broke login. Sorry but after the update just released it keeps kicking me to the login screen every time I open the app. Unacceptable. I tried a bunch of different tools when Google Reader went away and this was the one I stuck with. It's been solid and the functionality fits with everything I need in an RSS reader. Well done.

The very best RSS reader available!. For those who want a clean interface, with easy navigation, and use different services for their RSS feeds, Feeddler is the reader to have! I subscribe to over 250+ RSS feeds, in medical and neurological research, clinical medicine, technology, and news. I have researched over 20 RSS readers. Some can argue that it's the RSS feeds that keep me informed, while I will contend that this reader is how I do it! Support for the app is very, very good, and always quick to respond. There are many reasons why this app is constantly named 'The Best Of...' and the most popular app for serious RSS fans. Great for iPads, too!

Good replacement for Feedly. I tried this RSS reader because Feedly had just gotten too greedy. You couldn’t even save to Pocket anymore without paying their ridiculously high monthly fee. So I tried Feedler and was impressed. The layout is very good, there are a lot of options, and it’s a one-time purchase to get rid of the ads instead of a stupid monthly fee. All in all it works very well. I deducted one star Because webpages are displayed with their own internal browser, which isn’t very good, especially for ad heavy sites. And there’s no option to make safari the default browser. At least you can use the option to open webpages in Safari instead. But that’s an annoying extra tap.

Returns NULL. I can see list of articles, but when I tap on one, only get "null" instead of RSS version of article or Full version. This was working well a few weeks ago. Previous 4-Star Review: Frustrating When My Reading Position is LOST Feeddler is mostly a 4-5 Star app when it is working (5-Star if it included search), but when I leave the app to check email or look something up and then return back to Feeddler, it is very VERY FRUSTRATING when Feeddler LOOSES my reading position and takes me all the way back to the Subscriptions list. Please, please, please do NOT ever loose my reading position when switching to another app and then returning back to Feeddler -- this is so FRUSTRATING that I want to give this app only a 1-Star rating for this since this happens so often (many times per day), but I do like this app very much otherwise. This issue occurs on an iPhone 7 with 2GB of RAM and without many other apps running. It even occurs after a hard restart (hold Power + Volume Down until Apple logo appears) which should free up some RAM. If you do have to refresh Feeddler when I return back to it (which I can understand if I haven't used it for a few days or have swiped it away in the App Switcher), then at a minimum, please try to keep track (pointer, bookmark, etc) of the article I was reading along with how far down I've read in that article. Then restore me back to that article I was reading along with my position in that article and that article's position in its headlines feed list when refreshing the app so that when I am finally done reading that article and go back to the list of headlines screen, nothing is lost, and I can keep looking for other interesting older articles to read without loosing my position in that headlines list either. Please also add Search, especially for my Starred Items feed, so I can quickly find what I am looking for.

One Star: BIG Flaw. The would be a perfectly ok reader but for the fact that the Full Text function doesn’t work. At all. Clicking it merely returns a “(null)”. Perhaps there are some feeds that the function works with, but I haven’t found any.

Update has a bug. When set to show unread only, the articles just repeat the first page of articles. Also the login with feedly is bugging out as mentioned in other reviews. Previous versions worked great, 5 stars once fixed.

Back to glorious RSS. Feeds aren't stuck updating anymore with the latest update 4.3 Thanks for this app!

Reliable app. Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from, but this app has been well supported by the developer. Just recently, I was having trouble after updating to iOS 12. Just as I was about to email the developer, an update was pushed out that fixed the problem. Great for reading the feeds. Use it every single day!

Love love love. I use the old reader which mimics what google reader did. I love the layout and I use the dark background option so when I read it at night it doesn't blind me (it's my go-to can't sleep app). It's easy to add blogs that I want to read. The customer service is great too. I had to buy it again when I upgraded to the latest iOS but I paid willingly. These guys who built it did a spectacular job. The only thing that isn't perfect, which they've assured me they're working on, is that when I click to "jump" to the actual post rather than read it in RSS, it keeps reloading and boosting me back to the top. This happens sporadically and I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

This update finally resolve the problem!. This update finally resolved the bug with always log in to the account at every time I start the app. Thanx for the fast update!

Terrible (No) Support. I’ve sent at least four emails reporting what I believe to be a bug. It had to do with removing the stars from starred items. When you remove a star and leave the app then come back in, the starred entries that were removed are still there. I’ve heard nothing from the developer for over six weeks. Judging by the activity in history, It appears he’s not updating the app anymore. He was certainly quick to take the money for the app, though. I would stay away from this app and “developer”.

Version 3.1 rocks!. With the update to 3.1, all the little kinks seem to be ironed out, and Feeddler has once again shown why it is the best newsreader out there, bar none. Sharing to various services now work well (the Evernote integration is better than anything else you'll find). Notifications have returned in this update, and with everything working properly now, this just can't be beat. Considering buying a newsreade? Feeddler is the one you want, for sure.

Great RSS, with some iPad features missing. Very stable on my devices, and consistently the best RSS. Really wish search was added, as well as split-screen for sharing space with other apps on iPad.

Best RSS Reader. This is one of my most used apps on my phone. I use Feedly to aggregate and organize all my feeds and prefer FeedlerPro over the native Feedly app. It has a clean, minimalistic design that is incredibly fast and customizable and allows me to quickly look over all my feeds with ease. The hidden gem of this app is the minimalistic UI and the instantaneous article load times. The numerous customization features like a Night theme, when to mark items as being read as I scroll through my feed, preference for how articles are loaded, etc. There are numerous small customization settings that go a long way that makes this app standout above the other numerous RSS reader apps. I would love to see more gesture based navigation options and 3D Touch features in a future update!

Works again. At some point clicking any article link started leading to a “null” page so the app became useless. I finally deleted and reinstalled, and voila it worked. So it remains the best RSS reader available, though I wish the app creator had explained the solution. Also, it’s time for an update. The in-app browser is a little funky, for example.

Great for podcasts. I primarily use this app to keep track of podcasts, as I've found services like stitcher to be unreliable in terms of audio streaming and podcast availability. So far, it's been an excellent experience; +the audio player works in the background and with the screen locked, +organization methods work well to keep different podcasts together +Interface is simplistic and easy to use My only complaint is that headphone controls do not pause the audio from streaming, which can be a bit cumbersome when I need to pause what is playing only briefly. This doesn't detract from the overall appeal of the app to me, and I wholeheartedly recommend this as an alternative to other podcast services.

Exactly what I want. This app does everything I’m looking for, and it does it well. Thus newest version seems to run a little smoother, which is a nice bonus.

I’ve tried them all and Feeddler Pro is the best. It works efficiently and smoothly. Very flexible set up except for the inability to enlarge the font in the headline column.

Excellent RSS Reader!. Simple, easy to use, reliable. That’s all there is to say. Love it!

Excellent Feedly Client app. Simple, Straightforward, Swift!

Probably the best RSS Reader for iOS, but could be better. The app works well, but there are a few quirks that if resolved would really make this great. The first is offer a true offline mode, where articles are downloaded in the background and can be read without an internet connection. The other is to fix the polarized images when using the dark "night mode" theme.

Best rss reader. This is the best RSS reader! It is well organized. I use it all the time. Highly recommend.

still works great!. i’m still using this in ios 15 in dec 2023 with theoldreader service. i love the simplicity of the interface on a small screen. it let’s you choose between the original article or a text reader version.

Latest update fixes issues, still has warts. This app seems to see-saw between working and broken with each update to iOS. The good news is the developer is fairly quick to address issues. That said, here's some current issues that need to be addressed... 1 - An option to block ads or at least the auto-playing videos on some feeds. #gizmodo I'm talking to you. 2 - Pages that jump around while loading is still an issue 3 - If you're viewing a feed then lose your internet connection there is an endless stream of popups that tell you that you have no internet connection. One will do. Hopefully the developer will address some of these.

This version has problems. Latest version will not Open Articles as RSS. All I see is “??”. This makes the app much less useful.

Great RSS app. I’ve tried a few RSS apps and this is my favorite. The interface is clean and simple, performance is fast, and it has been reliable and stable for years. I appreciate features like offline reading and integration with multiple services.

My favorite RSS feed app. I've tried a few feed readers, and this is by far my favorite one. I've used Feeddler Pro since its previous version (built for previous iOS's), and paid for this update without hesitation. I like the clean new interface, and the way I can customize my feeds into folders. It's easy to see at a glance which feeds have new posts, making this app the first thing I check on my phone when I wake up (for an interesting article to coax me out of bed). My only complaints are: 1) The option to switch between RSS and website view seems to be glitching, so that I must use the "Open in Safari" option to view a full website sometimes; and 2) The Evernote integration no longer saves the entire text of the article--it still lets you add tags and select a notebook, but only saves the URL in a new note now. My workaround is to open the article I want to save in Safari, and then use the EverWeb Web Clipper app to save the article to Evernote the way I want it.

The worst. Period. Can’t even get a consistent login. I’ve tried Evernote, my Apple email account, Facebook. Forget this one.

It’s good again. The problems that I had with last weeks update (4.2) have been fixed with this 4.3 on my phone. No more ?? When I open an article.

Dev needs to fix this update’s bugs.. Logs me out of Feedly every time I launch the app.

Poor Font Design on the Update. I’m fine with the new native dark mode. However, the text is an odd shade of slate gray and very hard to read. If you’re going to use a black background then use a white font. I’ve used your app for years and I love it, but if this doesn’t change soon I will find another app. I’m not going to strain my eyes to read anything.

The best just got better. The new update with full text support is excellent! One touch and boom, reader view. It’s smooth and stable so far and has breathed new life into one of the few apps I use every single day. Love it! Kudos and thanks for the continued development of this great RSS reader.

ratings nag. Pops up a nag for App Store ratings. Why don’t you try respecting the “No App Store Ratings” setting that your users have set in their system settings?

Nothing But Trouble. Wish I could post screen shots. Ridiculous and seemingly random 20–30 character (numerals and letters) strings generated for folder names. CANNOT edit. Likewise, can NOT organize feeds by putting into folders. Etc. This app is broken. Better options are available.

Issue with some news feeds. Nice interface , easy to use , and great options . Have been using it for years Some newsfeeds show up as null in the subject and body when opening them Example , I subscribe to MacRumors. ALL articles show as Null in subject and body when opening them. This has been going on for too long and looking for other alternatives because I am unable to read Other news feed work fine . But for some of them , not able to read . Please fix quickly

Translation. I use this, and it is good app, can you add a translating within?

Junk. Paid twice for this app since I was one of the original suckers who paid for the original feeddler. App hasn’t been updated in years and no longer works on text mode. Also inserts ads into every other paragraph when viewing articles as web pages.

Broken. Can’t stay logged in to feedly. Keep getting tossed after this latest update

No gimmicky frills - just the best news reader!. The best news reader around. Really hard to find anything wrong with it. A clear easy to understand interface with a good selection of granular settings that allow you to customize the experience. Integration to social sites and e-mail for easy sharing as well as an ability to send to Evernote. I have used this for several years now and have not found any reader that comes close.

Sensational RSS App for iPhones. I use it every day, easy to catch up on all my favourite RSS feeds. Simple to categorise the Feeds and I love it how you can easily forward posts that you want to review further on a desktop. Keep up the great work!

Love it!. Must-have app for me - use it daily.

Simply the Best RSS App for IPad. I've looked at about twenty different RSS Reader-type Apps and this one is easily the best: the interface has maximum usability, functionality and minimum distraction, unlike the rest. It doesn't get any better as far as this type of App is concerned, and it's well worth the money if you enjoy reading articles, reviews, news etc on the web as it's a million times faster than just browsing in the hope of finding something interesting to read. The only improvement I could seriously suggest for the writer of this App: incorporate the offline text to voice abilities that some (unrelated and non-RSS) Apps have!

How to export rss links. Disappointed that there is no feature to export all batch rss link as text or opml. Not happy

Best way to filter news and articles.. Fantastic

A brilliant app!. My headline says it all.

Great App. Use it every day. Well worth getting

A great rss reader. Easily my favourite rss reader. I started using it years ago, and while I've changed rss aggregators I haven't changed this. Recent updates have taken it from good to great, and it's exactly what I need.

App is dead. No updates for long time, multiple crashes from “null” items... looking for replacement. Developer website looks compromised, safari wont open.

Best iPad RSS reader. I've tried numerous readers and this is by far the best. Highly recommended.

Reliable, dependable since 2012. I’ve been using this app daily for more than eight years. It does what it says: simple, reliable & robust RSS reader.

Great. Great app, work very well

One of the best apps!. I've been using this app since my first generation iPad. I've also looked at 6 to 8 other similar apps. This one wins hands down. There are way more features packed into a tightly designed interface than any other reader I've seen. This developer knows how to balance form and function. Excellent!

Great to see its been updated for ios8. I've always loved Feeddler pro as my RSS reader. It looks like it's been rewritten for iOS8 and it's still great. A bit of a bummer it had to be repurchased at full price for owners of the original Feeddler pro - a discount or in app upgrade would have been a nice touch.

Add Search by Name/Subject. It would be much better if you added a search feature by name or any article that contains a specific subject word.

Mise à jour. Ou est Dropbox . Where is Dropbox . Très mauvais. Very bad.

Terrific RSS reader. I really like this program. It’s for a featured and easy to use.

No complaints!. I've downloaded so many RSS feed apps and this is the one I always go back to, none of the others even compare!

Broken. Looks like this app is broken on ios12 and there doesn’t seem to be an active developer anymore :(

Excellent!. Very useful app. App très utile.

Black bar? Really??. Good program but you use the black bar cheat because you don’t want to make round corners on the iPad Pro. Come on guys, it’s not that hard to do. Make my iPad Pro screen sing, you can do it! Most others have fixed this.

Best reader out there. Best RSS feed reader you can find. Nice integration with online services. Great job.

One of the top 2 rss apps available!. Two thumbs up.

The best there is, the best there was, the best that will be. The app that I use the most. A single point of entry to read news and articles from lots of websites. A must have.

Bug report for this version. This amazing app has problems in this release. 1) when clicking on the RSS header link to load the full webpage, most pages will get stuck in a reload loop. I'm sure the developer is aware. 2) Full Text is now blazing fast. The problem is it's not work 75% of the time. This is an increase over previous versions. Fantastic app, long time user on iPhone4.

Top notch. FeeddlerPro has been my go to app for news on my iPad for about five years. Tried numerous alternatives before landing on Feeddler. The category champ for options and intuitive features. The new ios 8 version makes this top-notch product even better. Highly recommended.

Terrible, do not buy. A rip off.. Immediately asks you to sign up for yet another account. Complete waste of time, do not buy. Save your money use the not very good free version. Chu Bin Liu is a rip off site. Avoid this Ap.

Great app. Great app but I am very unimpressed I had to repurchase at full price again and was not offered an upgrade fee from the previous version.

The best. The best

Great app. This application is stable and reliable

Best RSS Reader for iPad. I tried many RSS readers and this on has the best UI. Clean, simple and has all the options one needs to quickly scan RSS feeds and read what you want to read. My favourite for many years now on my iPads.

MayimbeMontreal. Súper bon apps

Good but a cash grab. A solid RSS reader that works fine with The Old Reader (now that a patch has been released). But I'm annoyed that I had to pay $5 for this new version which essentially amounts to a bug fix for the previous app that I had already purchased. I would have continued to use the older version if it didn't continually crash in iOS8. Alas, the developer needed some cash, and I need my sanity.

I've tried dozens.... This classic is still by far the best value RSS reader.

Total Awesomeness for $4.99. Updated update: one of my go-to apps, excellent program. Update: I use this every day, love it. ********** Can't ask for more. Very glad to see update for iOS 8. Thank you.

Best RSS reader… But issues lately. I’ve been using the pro version of this app for years, and have found it to be the best on iPhone. Especially having had its own dark mode for many years :-) I am having a weird issue lately, though, I’m not sure how to contact the developer: the developer website and Support link both seem to be down. Any ideas?

Great RSS reader. The offline caching works really well, for reading while traveling.

Excellent!. Bien conçu et facile d'utilisation. Bon service après vente.

Crash issues. 5-10% chance of crashing when transitioning back from a web page view. Other than those annoying crashes, it's a great app.

Best RSS for iOS. As said, given the nonexistent cost for full version- which also hidden feature - makes the app run faster (I guess that makes sense given that unlocking gets ride of apps) but also - when you have any issue you message the developer and he fix!

Happy to support this App. After testing quite a few, for me this app is THE best. I'm using it daily on iPad & iPhone. I use it with Inoreader to sync feeds.

Version 4.1 keeps crashing. I get the list of articles for a given feed, when I click on one of them I get null as subject and null as content. This started happening since 4.1

Great app! Awesome developer!. What else can I say? Had issues with the app, sent the developer an email, the developer responded quickly and fixed it quickly! What else can I ask for: an app that does its job well, for which the developer added several supporting platform and a very responsive developer! Worth every penny I payed for it!

Exactly what it needs to be. ...and not more than it should be. Having tried almost all RSS readers, this still seems the best executed of the bunch. My only gripe is the removal of Pocket from the built in sharing list. It's less convenient to have to click through to the OS sharing list to do so now.

Excellent RSS Reader. I've been using this app for a few years now and the current version since its release. Workers very well with a simple clean interface. Highly recommend.

Easy to use and reliable. I've been using this app for several years now and love it. It is a small investment for a great return. It is very easy to use and easy to archive your feeds into different folders. I've tried other apps that crash or will lag. This app is worth it!

Bugs yet to be resolved.. I have just received the latest update, but the tumblr authorization and the add rss feed have not been resolved as of this date. You cannot add a feed by the URL. You cannot click on a rss icon ad have the feed default and added to feedler. These are three issues that should be resolved as you would expect this application to work at 100% and at normal operational activity. I have written to you about this issue for three years and yet you ignore these issues and "bugs".

Favorite reader. I love the updated reader app. There is a small issue that I expect to be fixed soon where I can't see anything in the all feeds view, but this is a minor point. Once this is fixed, it's five stars. If you want an rss reader, don't look anywhere else.

Not what I expected. I spent 10 minutes with this. The only thing I see on the screen is the forced login form for a handful of 3rd party sites. No other options in the interface. Why do I need those other "accounts"? I just want to be able to add my feeds. How difficult is it to make an app that doesn't force you to go through yet another external site? BTW, I tried one of them and they're asking for more money, per month, to have an account there! Seriously, what is this? I'm deleting this app and I feel that the screenshots are misleading. At least it should be made clear that external accounts are required to be able to use the app.

Wonderful App. This app and the customer service are fantastic. They get back to you fast with any questions or concerns. Everything is in working order and I love the pinterest option by just holding the picture. So easy to share.

Great reader!. I have to open articles in Safari to read long form, but short articles are fine. Still, it's the best laid out RSS reader and one of the most used apps on my phone. I use it with Bazqux, works fine.

Great App--allows reading off line!. I've used several versions of Feedler. It works flawlessly, with a variety of readers. I like it because I can cache material to read offline when I don't have Internet access. This is a huge time and money saver. Also, the developer offers very good support.

Used to work well, now crashes frequently and loses posts. This used to be my favorite RSS reader if not app overall. It's quick, flexible and intuitive. I wrote a previous review with four stars and a strong recommendation. However, in recent weeks [written in September 2018] the app seems to behave poorly. Very frequently posts are shown with a question mark for content and cause the app to crash. I can still access them on the browser on feedhq's website, but not in this app. I emailed the developer but there's no response and the "app support" link in the app store leads to a dead page. Time to look for a new reader. This one's time has come.

Best RSS Reader Out There. Update: One day after posting an update to this review bemoaning the fact that full text view had stopped working, the developer had an update that fixed the issue. I am restoring 5 out of 5 for my review. Works great again! Update: I always preferred this newsreader because of it's easy to use Full Text View. This feature has turned a little unpredictable in the last two weeks and now does not seem to working at all. Disappointing. I use this with The Old Reader and it works without a hitch. Posts are easy to see, it's heavily customizable, and it ties into multiple services. I bought the upgrade without even thinking about it. Slick and modern.

Best RSS reader for 6 Plus on iOS 8. This is working great with the larger screen of the new 6 Plus, enabling me to move much of my RSS reading from the iPad under Mr. Reader (an excellent app!) to the iPhone. The extra portability is great, I'm quite pleased, and will be sending direct feedback for feature additions and bug fixes to the developer. Update: Still working a treat!

Need more font control. Different fonts, different font size, especially for full text view. It has been a reliable app. I paid it again for v2 but I think the improvements are minimal. Would love to see more dramatically improved features.

Best reader, bar none.. I've been using this reader for years and gladly paid for the update after the older version bit the chip when iOS 8 debuted. It has just the right amount of features. Great functionality, but doesn't overdo it with forty-eleven features that are unneeded. Please address the small bug where "all" at that top shows empty. Thanks!

Pure Functionality. Prior to its Feedly support, I often skipped reading my feeds due to the lack of functionality of ALL the other RSS apps. I've tried at least a dozen of them over the years and this is hands down the best. Quickly browse, mark and delete your feeds without all the dizzying and superficial graphics. Pure functionality!

Comes with an expiration date. This is a great app and I've been using it for years. I was very disappointed to learn that instead of updating it, the dev released a new version which is exactly the same, but with iOS8 support and an uglier interface. No warning, nothing. As soon as iOS8 came out my old version started crashing within a few seconds. Now I see I have to spend another 5 bucks to get it working again. Very frustrated because this really is a good reader. I wonder how long until I have to buy it again?

Missing "swipe to delete". Could you please add a "swipe to delete" or "swipe to mark as read" (or both) functionality so that I'm not forced to open-close a story to accomplish this? If this is added I promise to raise my rating to 5 stars.

My most used app. Was Feeddler, and glad to know the tradition continues. Some of the complaints about this app are almost laughable. It is an rss reader that does its job extremely well. No, you cannot play angry birds while reading stories, nor does it clean your house. It just does what it does very well.

Best RSS reader ever. None of the silly magazine style layouts here. It's headlines and that's it. Feeddler has a Simple, compact layout that displays simple compact news. Makes it easy to blow through 500 articles in just a few minutes. This app perfectly suits my needs! Feedback from CB Liu was prompt and and a fix for an issue with The Old Reader was supplied in a reasonable time frame. Nicely done.

Best RSS reader I have used. I have tried quite a few.... Even paid for others... Then found this app. It is the only RSS reader left on my device. Has ever feature and need and more... Works seamlessly between my 2 iPhones and my iPad. Great reader and you cannot go wrong with it.

Great Reader. This program is a great reader. Simple. Fast. Effortless. This simple text preview is vastly superior to the mixture of images and text that provide the interface to many other news apps and RSS readers.

The new interface hurts my eyes. Look, in terms of functionality, this is a great app. But the new interface really does give me a headache. The type is thinner on the headlines, and everything is much more white, making it blend together. The older version made it easier to "chunk" information. Not sure I will be able to stick with this. Functionality doesn't matter if it's physically painful!

Clean, fast, and just works.. With the latest iOS upgrade I was able to see how fast the programmer was in updating the bugs. Baring the App Store approval time (which I understand you have no control over) I was very happy to see how fast you updated it. As a long time free version user I wanted to put my money where my mouth is, and upgrade to the pro version. Thank you.

The absolute best RSS Reader. I use this program literally every day and don't know how I could possibly keep up with all the blogs I track without it. The design, speed, and support are top notch. You can even email the developer directly if you have a problem and he actually responds. Wow.

Really really good feed reader. Now on 4.1. Still my favorite reader of all time. Use it every day. Is how I get all my news. Keeps getting better, too. Interface is out of your way and a pleasure to use.

Best Feed Reader Ever. I think I have tried all the readers out there and I always go back the Feedler Pro. With all the settings and ways to set the folders its a Research Junkies Dream. Take your time and set it up in an organized fashion with folders by topic and your morning coffee and Feedler Pro will be your best friends.

A must App!. I am an over the road truck driver. I depend on the news, weather and certain blogs for a safe, productive work day, everyday, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This app is a must for everything in one, clear, concise spot!

Nice RSS Reader - Major Flaw Fixed. Biggest problem was background updates - now fixed in new version. Can now use the icon badge to alert me of new feeds. Also, a setting to have the app open in a specific area (i.e. feeds, list, etc.) would be helpful.

So good I purchased it twice. This is the second version of feeddler I've purchased and don't regret it for a moment. There was a bit of a hiccup when google reader shutdown but the developers came through and kept things working great.

Junk. Using The Old Reader account, almost nothing shows. In Subscriptions, many folders show numerous articles available for reading. However, viewing a folder generally shows nothing (and show “All” is enabled). A couple of folders do show proper content, but most folders are empty — including “All items”, which should show the content from the couple of folders which did show content. Hitting “refresh” multiple times does nothing.

Still the best after all these years. Thank you for keep it updated. It's still my only rss reader even so I started using flip board. This is still the best.

It Works. I've used this reader for years. I follow a lot of scientific and economic literature and it just works. It updates quickly and no problems getting to the full articles.

Beat replacement for GReader, destroys battery. It's been my favorite RSS reader for nearly six years. However, there are some serious defects in the app. On my iPhone 6+, if I open the app when my phone is 100% and let it sit, I will be at 50% in just a few hours, even though my phone locks at five minutes. Seemingly it does not go into non active background but stays in active background/foreground and just destroys battery life with all its fetching.

This app is excellent. Your app is great. The organization of feeds is great and the integration w Instapaper rocks. I follow several feeds using Inoreader now that Google killed their reader. Your app is unique in that it does not take me to the website but instead lets me review the article in Instapaper w/o all the noise of the website. This is the only feed app I use and have been for several years. Tried Feedly and it is not useful. Great job. Thanks so much.

(Was) Nice to use. Very happy to get text feeds after so many news apps apparently think video and images are the most important thing. Wish I could control the font size and weight in the full article mode. *Update* The app has decide to constantly crash anytime a story is selected and it goes to text mode. The screen says “Null” and the app crashes. No word form the developer.

Great for old eyes. It took me a while to find an RSS reader that would just feed me easy-to-read text. This is it. Other feed readers focus on visuals, on trying to look like magazines, with giant pictures and gray type. Young designers don't get it, but anyone over 40 knows this is absurdly hard to read. Feeddler gets it right. Black text. Pinch to make font smaller, unpinch to make font bigger. Simple. The interface is clean. Lists of articles can show up to four lines of preview text, so you can quickly see whether you want to read the whole article. If not, mark it as read with a tap. I've tried many, many, feed readers. This is the best one for simplicity and readability.

Remains my go-to RSS app. I've been using Feeddler for years, and it remains my favorite way to read. The latest update continues to be solid, and doesn't get in the way of the content.

My go to RSS reader. This is my goto RSS reader on my iPhone. I love the UI and the fact that I can set items to auto read as I scroll by. Makes for very productive reading, given that I scan thru hundreds of article everyday.

Great RSS reader. Feeddler RSS works well and is a pleasure to use. It gives me exactly what I need. The user interface is simple and easy to use. The app doesn’t get in the way doing its job by trying to do everything. What it does, it does well. I’ve been using Feedler RSS for several years and recommend it highly.

The best!. I fell for the hype and tried Reeder but it is slow and harder to read visually by comparison. Have been using RSS apps for years and this is first time I tried this app. Very fast, great options, and visually my favorite. Only request would be being able to switch between night and day themes on the fly from within an article rather than from main settings page. Still, easily 5 stars and well worth $5!

Solid functionality, but flawed UI. I was glad to see this app get updated to support the sync service I use (feedly), and the syncing and reading functionality works just fine. But the new UI is deeply flawed. The controls are constantly being hidden when I want them. So I've switched back to another feed reader with a better interface.

Great Reader. I've been a Feeddler user for a number of years. This new updated version is the best yet. This version is completely stable and works exactly like I expect it to. I love being able to set my feeds up in folders and manage entire groups together. I've used this with Google Reader and now The Old Reader and it works perfectly. I have the pro version and highly recommend it.

Favorite RSS reader. This is by far my favorite RSS reader. Everything works. I use it with my Bazqx account. My only item for the wish list is to make navigation forward and backward better in the integrated web browser.

I use everyday. This app is great all around. Fast, easy, and many options. Only thing is missing is adjust article font size. You can only adjust menu font size for some reason. Other than that it's the best rss reader around. Thanks

Tests my patience. I've been using this app on my iPhone and iPad for years, but since the new version, full article views on many of my favorite sites constantly reload and return me to the top of the article. This makes it impossible to read the full article. It also does not play videos within the reader. I wrote to the developer about these issues, but haven't seen any signs of improvement yet. So far my workaround has been opening the article in Safari, back to Feeddler, and repeat. What a pain!

Easy to use. Updates great and views the feeds without problems. Would have given 5 stars if I didn't have to sign in to an account to use. Would have enjoyed just adding a feed without logging into a site first.

Great App. Love the app and have had it a few years. Recently I've had a sporadic problem where the feeds have no shortened links when I try to post to Twitter. Anyone else have this problem? I've emailed support but get no response.

Best standalone RSS reader app. I've been a dedicated user since App was first released for iOS 5, developer is always quick to respond to questions or concerns with apps. Happy to continue to support developer. Thank you

Easily the best. This has been my favorite app for years. The only problems I ever have involve animated gifs. When visiting a series of posts with animate gifs, first works (usually), but hitting next/prev leaves the remaining gifs unanimated. Feels like other posts are being cached in prep for viewing but corrupt or not being pulled from cache properly. Otherwise, excellent app.

Seriously, one of my favorite apps!. This is a great RSS reader, nicely designed and easy to use. It also has excellent support for assistive technologies, something I greatly appreciate since I am visually handicapped. It's quite flexible, and allows me to push articles to other applications with ease. Heck, if it supported Voice Dream my life would be just about perfect. Update: it continues to work great, still wish it interfaced with Voice Dream.
