Super helpful!. I started a Bible study but wasn’t sure what I was going to do, and using StudyGateway I picked out a really good study to do and have learned a whole lot as well as taught it!

Great resource!. I use this app to teach an adult Sunday School class. The topics are relevant and the theology and scholarship sound. It also makes it easier to get a substitute teacher on those Sundays when I’m away.

Overall Good. I love this site but it seems to run the best on the website platform. I struggle with it on roku, iPhone and tablet applications. As of recently I can’t even open the app at all on my iPhone! Help!! I mainly watch on devices due to my lifestyle. Sooooo, please fix this or I will have to cancel my subscription. I’m just not able to pay for a service I’m not able to use to my satisfaction. Thank you in advance! :0)

So Convenient!. I love having the videos for my current Bible Study, Ann Voskamp's Waymaker, with me at all times, through this app on my phone. Now I cannot imagine working through a video series any other way.

Would like to think a person in the high 80s could survive the website. I need more explanation of costs for streaming, and found I have no sound after complaining about what I was sent as the cost, I tried to find the way to help and nothing fit my need, so I am left to look for answers for 2 hours, and find this note necessary; I’d prefer to work on my knowledge of the Word! Study guides and videos. Seems to have all I’m looking for and complete. Really enjoy being able to share studies everywhere via link so that can reach even more people!

A Great Resource!. I have learned So much through these Bible studies. They’re all different. It is a way to insure connection & growth with God. Going deeper into my understanding of a relationship with him & with understanding &scripture. Wether you do it as a group or alone, It’s all good! I watch the videos over and over. I go at my own pace doing the workbook. But if I’m with a group the discussions are also wonderful. I will never be without a Bible Study!

Unexpected woke. I was excited to download and use the app as I’m always looking for good apps to deepen my Bible studies. Opening the app and scrolling down through the sections, one was titled black voices….. really? In Christ we are all one people and to label like this is divisive. I hate how things like this have inched into our worship. Get back to strictly biblical teachings. I deleted because I have other apps that don’t do this. This was actually the first Bible study app I’ve ever encountered that had something like this.

So far, not so good!. I purchased a study, which included access to the videos through study gateway. I have not been able to access the videos and customer service has been painfully slow in responding. The variety of videos available on the site is excellent, but I am not willing to pay again for the ability to watch something that I have already purchased.

Studying at Home to Walk Closer to God. The versatility of when, what, etc is great. If you have time in the mornings to study, you can or if it’s the middle of the night. There are many different studies available on different topics. I’m glad I stumbled upon the Study Gateway.

Great Material but you never know if it is going to work. It is very hard to pay $8.99, and be in the middle of a series and suddenly nothing works. I have been a member since the beginning customer service, for such a monthly fee is terrible. They need to have some accountability and they don't.

Love the messages. I love that Lisa Terkherst has been through the same thing I’m going through and she is not afraid to admit that she was wrong .

No sound on iPad. I writing this for the iPad app, not iPhon or website. I thought something done to the glory of GOD should be at a higher level. Sadly not true with this app. From what I can tell the content is great and suspect the creators won be horrified if they knew how poorly their service to the LORD was being implemented in software. Apart from being unusable on iPad if I go to the app support page hyperlink just above these comments I get page not found on the Harper Collins website. These are simple things that should have been fixed before going live on even the entry level app by inexperienced team. How this is in the store for two months (possibly longer) without the developer knowing about would normally get people fired on a mediocre software team. The content looks great, c’mon HC step up your game, or move this client to someone who cares.

Disappointed. I subscribed to this app so that I could share the videos on a Bible study I led. My members never could access the videos. I spent several hours on the chat line to try to get it resolved but never could, one of my members also spent over an hour on live chat trying to get access and never could. The site has some great stuff but I needed the videos to share with my group. Very frustrating and disappointing. The instructions on how to cancel the subscription is hard to follow. I cannot get it cancelled🤦🏻‍♀️

My every day lift. I am enjoying listening to Study Gateway every morning while I’m getting ready. It’s a great way to fill my mind with great teaching on topics I need, and I never get bored!

Love/Hate Relationship. While I love having access to a plethora of video content & have been using the app as an aid in leading my women’s ministry group, it’s very frustrating that I’m unable to actually read the “free” first chapter of the study guides as the app keeps crashing when you click the links. I don’t purchase study guides/books without being able to read a chapter & decide if I feel confident in sharing the content. PLEASE FIX THIS!

Love this app. I like to watch videos for Bible studies and this is the perfect way for me to watch them over and over if I need to go back to a specific point in the study

1 & 2 Thessalonians. I have viewed three episodes so far. They are going to be helpful for my teaching the Sunday School lessons this quarter on Thessalonians.

Very disappointed. If I could give no stars I would. This app just doesn’t work. I have never heard sound from the app at all. I contacted support and they suggested I reinstall the app ( I had done this before contacting support). There only other suggestion was to see if I had muted the sound on my phone. I stream all the time through other apps and have zero problem. This is not an isolated incident so I guess there is no fix for this and the app is otherwise non functional

Most extensive teaching available. Love this app and subscription. It’s worth every dime. All the new studies are in one place. And it’s so great to be able to watch them as many times as you’d like. Love this App

THE APP WORKS GREAT!!!. I usually stream Study Gateway through my Roku on my tv and it works great! I downloaded this app and I haven’t had any problems. The other reviewer complained about no sound, but it might be something she needs to adjust on her iPad, instead of the app. I have an iPhone and I can hear the videos and content just fine.

Fix ability to watch on phone or tablet!. It’s been very frustrating to try and use this app on my phone only to have either no sound or the app won’t even open. I love all the content but have to lug my computer around to watch videos. PLEASE fix this so I can actually use your app or I’ll have to cancel my subscription.

Customer service is not good.. Tried canceling my account because I didn’t need the service, emailed 3 seperate times before my trial was up, NO RESPONSE still to this day. There is no option to cancel without emailing the customer support but they don’t answer. Now I don’t even know how else to cancel the service without just canceling the debit card attached to it, which is ridiculous.

Study Gateway - Best video study tool online. I love using this for my Bible study’s. If I don’t absorb the info the first time, I can always come back again…..and again!

Best bible study app. The variety is amazing. There’s something for everyone who want to grow in their faith. Whether you’re in Leadership or beginner, this is the best app for you. I love it.

Something went wrong. Downloaded this app to access course videos that go along with ebook I purchased. The content shows up in my purchased content, but when I go to play the videos I get a “something went wrong error 3” and the content doesn’t play. Would love for this to work.

Get ready to be excited for Jesus!!!. Faithgateway was the treasurer I found durning Covid and has been there as I study our Lord and Savior. The study plans they offer are exciting and author are one I study.

Updates make it better. This is the best resource for quality video bible study. The improvements to the app allow for better searching and ease of finding what you’re looking for. Selection of bible studies is amazing

Galatians and Luke. Jada Edwards study on Galatians and Lisa Harpers study on Luke were probably the best that I’ve heard this far. I don’t particularly want to have to purchase a book to follow your lessons, so these Ladies really did a wonderful job. Kiddos to them and the Holy Spirit moving upon them in preparation for the work they put into preparing for the classes. Thanks Again for allowing us to listen and learn

Love these videos. I recently read Brant Hansen’s book Unoffendable The videos along with the book are so incredibly helpful!

Works great!. I believe all of the reviews must be old; maybe before an update?? Because I have had zero issues with this app. It is extremely easy to use and works great! Makes it so convenient to watch the videos instead of having to use my web browser. I love it!

Great Studies. I’ve been using Study Gateway for over a year now. The content of each study is great. It offers so many titles and teachings from an array of authors, pastors, and teachers. Most of the studies I have used has been in small group settings and everyone really enjoy the sessions and the provided material. Everything you need to make the sessions your own is housed in each topic (book, study guide, where to purchase, etc.). Great resource for anyone who loves equipping the Body of Christ with truths. In addition, the cost for this valuable tool is so affordable. I am a widow and live on a really tight budget so I appreciate being able to have continued access that does not take away a lot from budget. Well worth the study material!

Links Still Not Working. Despite having the most recent version of the app, which was updated yesterday, the links in the app still aren’t working. I can click on and watch the videos for the studies in the app, but if I try to click on any of the other links for the studies, such as the study guide or sermon notes, the app crashes and closes. I tried several times with several different studies and the app crashed every single time. I don’t have this problem at all when I access links from the website. But it would sure be nice if the app worked like it’s supposed to. Please fix this issue!

Love the many studies. I have loved having the Word of God and Biblical wisdom that is available through Study Gateway. My daily quiet time is enhanced by the many topics that our world is facing. Strength for my Christian walk and tools to grow and develop spiritually every day.

Difficult To Navigate. None of the tabs on the app pull up anything. The only way I could find my study was to search for it. I saved it to ‘My List’, but can’t find a ‘My List’! Each time I want to watch one of the video sessions, I have to search for my study again. So far the videos play fine and no sound issues as others have stated. However, it is quite frustrating to have to do a search to find my study each time and nothing pulls up on the tabs.

Small group resource. StudyGateway is an amazing tool to bring variety to our small group time!

No sound. I cannot get any sound on the app. I have deleted and reinstalled several times per their only recommendation. I made sure the sound wasn’t muted, rebooted my phone. Everything I could think of. When I came back to reinstall again I realized that I am not alone. Apparently it doesn’t really work for iPhones. I chose a subscription with the idea I’d be able to use the app. Well I will be ending it after the trial. Maybe if they lose enough money then they will consider fixing the problems for this thing.

Great for group studies!!. We have used a couple for our group and it has been easy to use and has great content!!

Love this app. I love watching these videos - I’m really growing in my faith. I can’t begin to read all the books that I’d like, but seeing the video sessions, I feel like I’m benefiting from so much wisdom.

Spiritual Health. As a Jesus follower, I must take care of my “spiritual health”. Having Bible studies, and materials focused on different topics has deepened my understanding of the scriptures, and has resulted in a deeper relationship with Jesus.

The Content is Amazing. I think the content is excellent. The layout not so much for tablet. Half the screen is occupied with a menu which consumes too much space on the screen. I have also had problems with the site not functioning well on Roku. When you try to engage with the next chapter of a study, it will kick you out of the website. I hope these things get fixed, as I think the idea, and the content, is amazing.

Almost 5 stars. I’d give the app 5 stars if It remembered if it put the multi chapter studies/study series I watch under “Continue Watching”. It seems only the chapters/episodes I watch half way end up there. For studies in progress, I have to go to search or to my list to find and continue watching the series.

Keeps crashing. I love this app but lately I cannot open it...it “kicks me out”. I have to use the desktop version on my iPhone in order to view the videos.

Insightful and at times, exciting!. While reading one’s Bible is paramount, having a plethora of choice for subject matter and explanation of a broad range of biblical subjects has been a huge blessing for me. Thankful for the Study Gateway Video Bible Studies.

App won’t open. I love StudyGateway! Though the app won’t open now, I can still access it through the website. But please fix it!

Study gateway. Easy to use and navigate. All the topics I need and want are here.

Impossible to Cancel. It is virtually impossible to cancel this app once you’ve subscribed. Shame on you!! I’ve called customer support and no one even bothered to take my call. You people give a poor example of Christian truth and love!

IPad App is not fully functional. This app does not work with my IPad. I can’t get it to pull much up. I also do not have full access to individual Bible studies.

Philippians. Not much taught on the book of Philippians. Then the video subscription ran out before we finished the series! It was an expensive and boring study.

Frustrated. We are doing a group study and my class struggles every week to even open the app and sometimes no sound! It’s just not very reliable. When I get on the content is AMAZING!

App doesn't open. The website works great and has been a great blessing. However, the app does not work - it won't even open! It worked for a couple of weeks when I first downloaded the app, but that has stopped.
