Yum. As someone who doesn't know a lot about the oyster world, this app gave me a doctorate! Not only artfully done but elegant as the oysters themselves with great photos. Love the app! Great job and thanks!

OYSTOUR. Downloaded this app while sitting at an oyster bar in LA- SUPER USEFUL! I was able to catalogue everything super easily and now I know what a few of my faves are. Cool, sleek design, easy to use and fun to show people!

Good app. The descriptions are valuable and well written. Over the top at times but believeable. Please update! More West Coast entries needed!

Missing many oysters/ regions.. Was hoping to keep track of my oyster addiction but most every oyster from (Virginia) area isn’t available and there’s no where to add a type that’s not already listed.

Very limited oysters selection.. Enjoy the pictures, but very few oysters, doesn't look like there's been an update in a while either. Should be free with ads

Doesn't work. Paid for this app, and it worked great. Loved it! But Ever since the last two iOS updates, it doesn't load the types of oysters. All other tabs work, just not the directory of oyster types. That feature was the only reason I paid for this. Please fix or give me my money back.

Not Enough Oysters. There is no point in having an app that only has certain oysters and doesn’t allow you to enter ones not in the database. Deleting, glad it only cost me .99.

Cool concept but limited and features no longer active. Very beautiful and descriptive app, but this is so old it’s outdated. No events, doesn’t let you add oysters, doesn’t let you purchase in app. I’d hold off and find an alternative.

Great resource. As a newbie to the oyster world I found this app insightful and I absolutely loved all the fun facts. Who new there are so many oysters out there?!?

Great app. Found it very easy to navigate and liked the pictures and descriptions. They must have added more oysters because 6 of 8 on our menu were in the application. It's good for beginners or simply to get a look before you order.

Didn't say it cost money. When I was looking around for apps that inform me about oysters, I stumbled upon this one. It looked alright so I decided to download it. However the page did not inform me that it cost money.

Can’t submit new oysters Don’t waste your money. Here we are on Nantucket and they have locally farmed Pocomo Oysters from the Pocomo Meadow Oyster Farm. Unfortunately the app not only does not provide ANY support but doesn't allow comments or ability to add new oysters. Don’t. Waste your money.

Genius!. Oystour is great. Easy to navigate and beautifully designed, it's a treat to use and incredibly helpful. Definitely helped me up my oyster game!

new friend of the oysters. I was never a huge fan of shucking and slurping down oysters, but now when I tag along for oyster happy hours, I am able to actually know what it is I am eating and understand the tastes, smells, and stories of these fun little snacks. The app has amazing, clear, high res photos that are better than the real thing and provides great descriptors that help me remember which oysters I’ve tried and which ones are my faves.

More oysters please!. This app does not include many all oysters available in restaurants. I wanted an app where I could read about each oyster but also record & take notes on those I ate. Perhaps a new version would allow for notes and custom entry of oysters not listed here.

Good but could be great. As all the comments suggest there needs to be an easy place on the app to add additional oysters. They are missing some popular ones

Excellent start. Needs some feedback and add options. Great app for looking up your favourite oysters. Disappointed that two of my favourites are missing and there is no way to manually add them or send a note to the developers. For note Aunt Dotties from Saquish and Savage Blonde from PEI are both delicious!

Best oyster app out there!. This oyster app is very classy, comprehensive and easy to use. Another HUGE plus is the constant monitoring and feedback provided by the app owners/managers! They can only list as many oysters as farmers send them. They are very receptive to working with producers when they make contact with them.

Disappointingly limited.. Looks like a great start but before this app was released they should've amassed a much larger library of oyster varieties. I was hoping this would be a great resource to save favorites and write notes about my experiences eating specific varieties. As it stands, you're better off using a website with a much more comprehensive variety listing.

Great app but needs a quick fix. Great app but the info about individual oysters is not scrolling properly. Can't see the months or the Latin info. Gets cut off. Otherwise, I think this is going to be so much fun to browse thru and have when I go to a restaurant! Thxs!!!

Meh.. Very limited varieties of oysters on app. Would be nice if they let you record your thoughts on types of oysters you have tried as well. Overall a decent concept but fails to deliver.

Fantastic App to learn Oysters!. Really great for both learners, travelers and oyster fanatics. Unprecedented photography. Also love the fact they've got events. A must have if you live the oyster life!

Helpful and fun. I love this app and use it regularly when choosing oysters. My only wish is that users could submit info about oysters that aren’t listed. Tried some new ones recently that I had never heard of and would have loved some info beforehand, even if just personal impressions.

Lacking. I just went to dinner at Hog Island in San Francisco and *none* of the oysters we ordered are on the app. Would be nice if there was an add your own notes section. I just want to remember what I like! If that's your goal - don't spend the .99

Not worth $.99. This app lacks a lot. Doesn't even have info on Pacifics (most common in Puget sound). You can google any of this info they have. Not sure what sets them apart from the good ole internet. Sorry Oystour but you're going to need more. Not worth the space on my phone.

Great idea, bad execution. I wish this app was more functional because it's a great idea. I can't do anything but "like" a variety, if it's even on the menu, which it usually isn't.

Only app like it. I'm an oyster fan, bordering on aficionado, and this is the most complete encyclopedia of oysters that I've found. The improved events section is helpful as well, especially when traveling on business. Definitely recommend this app.

Just ok. I wish this let you add oysters that are not listed. First day they didn’t have several oysters we wanted to comment on. And there’s no way for a separate note unfortunately.

Very helpful, fun. Provides good information. It is fun to read about the oysters we buy. I have yet to come across an oyster that is not listed.

Great app, could use a notes feature. This is a beautiful app and really useful (even if I disagree w/ their opinion on cocktail sauce). The only thing I'd recommend would be a function so you could write specific personal notes about each oyster to help you remember what you liked or didn't. If that's not possible, just a 5 star rating system would help you remember which ones you loved vs. what you just liked.

Great App for Foodies. If you are a foodie, you will LOVE this app. Great design and function. Accurate descriptions of a large variety of oysters that help you better enjoy and appreciate the taste of the oyster you choose. A fun and comprehensive guide to oysters!. Love this app! I never realized how many oyster varieties there were. So many new ones to try! The tasting profiles are robust and the fun facts and additional info along with the gorgeous pictures make this a must for anyone who loves, or is looking to try, oysters.

2018 oyster. It is a very good app. Most of the bugs are fixed and it does a great job helping me select oysters.

Awesome. The best app for picking out your next ouster at a restaurant or at the market. It gives you a great picture and a full description in texture, flavor and where they from. Si far I had found every single one that i have need to look up. It also allows you to save your picks for a future order. Did I mention I used it while overseas to enrich my foodie experience and show my acknowledge in the subject while choosing my order. Overall great description, great price , great pictures really complete and grate app.

Lack of oysters. Weak. As an oyster lover, I am very disappointed with this app. A number of the varieties I like are not even on this app. 👎🏼
