Pretty terrific. This is wonderful to listen to! These guys are funny, not only read the book but interpret it in a way that makes me keep listening to it; I can listen to it when I am at work and when it's not convenient to sit and read. I recommend it!

Joe & Charlie fan in Alanon. Their straightforward presentation about the steps, how they were used in recovery by the original practitioners and about the development of 12 steps into the form we find them today was so helpful. Especially expanded my understanding of how living in ongoing & growing trust of our higher power is central and develops through working the steps. I’ve recommended it to others.

WOW Fun & Knowledgeable!. I recommend this to all new comers & very old timers who don't know what we have available today with modern technology. This explains the Big Book in a simple & enjoyable way. The steps are so easy to follow that I look forward to redoing them. It's not only fun to listen to but convenient. I listen while driving, cleaning & exercising. It's not only convenient but saves money & space. I couldn't even buy the Big Book alone for this price; forget all the other books & meetings on this app.

Great Journey Through The Big Book. If you're looking to deepen you knowledge of the big book, this is a great tool.

Not what I expected. I thought this would be Joe Mc Q and Charley Parmley but it's clear from the getgo it's another Joe. Very deceptive. Joe McQ led the show...Charley simply his side kick. What a disappointment.

Engaging & Inspiring. These fellows talk us through the Big Book of AA in a thought provoking way that is entirely relatable. It feels like you’re sitting down with a couple of your uncles who are wise but so down to earth. They keep it serious but light with enough humor in it, that you find yourself smiling throughout the series. Love it.

Joe & Charlie. Not much of a review person but here it goes. If want to know what the big book has to say in detail this is the app for you. Lots of insight into the big book. Highly recommend this for you.

Keeping it simple. Joe and Charlie The most simplest,and in depth BB study as far as I'm concerned. Take the BB and start studying and taking several notes that has carried me through not only in sobriety but all so as a sponsor.

Truly entertaining and enlightening.. Not long after I started working at GSO, a member of the AA staff told me about Joe & Charlie. That was before the iPhone and Apps and you had to download media files. But the effort was worth it as these two men bring the BB to life with energy, humor and valuable insights. A True Blessing. I love Joe and Charlie. I'm recently sober- just over 90 days. I leaned about Joe and Charlie from An "old timer" in the program and I know it was divinely inspired that I did. These recordings make the Big Book relevant to my experience and my understanding of the program. I have the CDs but it's hard to find a player outside of my car these days! I just found this app this morning and am so happy that now I can take them anywhere. What a gift!

AA Language. So far everything these gentlemen have spoken is a truth I understand in MY HEAD 😆 it feela good to understand a language once I never knew about.

Worth $3, exceptional. These tapes are a full of words that helped me understand the solution, the program, the history, the fellowship, and how to keep it simple and do what our founders did. Absolutely worth $3, great compliment to reading the big book and 12/12.

Joe and Charlie. I have been sober for 26 years and I needed to rejuvenate my program! I remembered years ago listening to the Joe and Charlie tapes and being inspired so I decided to see if they had an app and here it is! I downloaded it on my iPad and can listen to it anywhere! I also use it with my sponsees, we take out our Big Books and follow along as Joe & Charlie take us through the steps. I love it

Almost perfect unless im missing something. I just wish the audio sections would play continuously. Be perfect for those long drives.

Awesome. Really good quality..

Fantastic. The content is wonderful, I love having the text to read along with the audio. There are a few typos, but they aren't intrusive. The only suggestion I would make is to have the option of playing the sections continuously. Even recovered alcoholics are a danger on the road when they are scrambling to find and play the next session while driving at 80 mph!

Keep it simple. The 12 Steps as it was laid out for me a year ago. Highly recommend for anyone new to the steps and as a refresher to those who have gone through the steps and for those sponsoring.

Volume a little low. I love this app, but the volume is a little low for me.

Very Informative. Very informative history of AA and breakdown of the Big Book. Sound quality forces you to turn up the volume full blast but I imagine one reason that is that the available media to record on was cassette tapes. I can remember how much I paid for it honestly. Also contains Preamble, How It Works, Just for Today, and Sobriety Counter in Days. Thanks for making this available.

Joe and Charlie-True Big Book Thumpers. I got sober in Dayton, Oh near the birthplace of AA. It was there that I was taught that the direction to sobriety was found in the Big Book and that if I followed precisely the direction inside I too could live a wonderful life. 12 years later I can’t deny that truth. I was introduced to Joe and Charlie with a set of CD’s and through the book and their guidance I have not found a reason to take a drink. This is a must for anyone wanting to gain a better understanding of the power found within its cover. May your higher power bless you on your journey.

Yup. They may not be the “ gurus” of AA but they sure help me dissect and absorb more of the information provided in the big book of Alcoholics Anonymous. I believe it’s a must have especially in the days were people don’t read anymore.

Nice to find an old friend. I remember them. Their common sense out of the book study was a gift to me years ago. To find it on an app now was great. It will help anyone serious about doing some quality BB work.

Great lessons. Love listening to Joe and Charlie. Makes you think deeper about what you have already learned and read in the big book. I get another “ahh-haa” moment every time I listen to them. No matter how many years of sobriety I have I’m still always learning and growing.

Excellent tool for those Serious about understanding the 12 Steps. I'm not ashamed to say, that my Recovery from Alcoholism was sadly lacking and doomed to failure, until I latched on to the fact that a clear and unambiguous understanding of the 12 Step program and Spiritual Principals that they espouse was essential. 28 years trying to get Sober and find a better way of living. 3 years ago, a fellow addict lent me his Joe and Charlie CD's. Here at last was a tutorial, that, allied with working with a Sponsor and others, and studying and practicing the 12 Step Program, could offer this " last gasper a clearer understanding. Now, with this App, I have Joe and Charlie to guide me, wherever I am.

Great BB study. Excellently laid out. Very good material. I now love Joe and Charlie! I'm almost 6 months sober and no good access to BB studies so this has been a very nice tool.

Serenity. Great app, love the explanations and how it is broken down along with their understanding of the background behind the writing of the Big Book by the original authors. Only complaint is there isn't a way to bookmark where you left off if you have to stop in the middle of one of the sections and doesn't show which episode you left off on. Other than that, great companion to the reading of the Big Book.

Audio shutting down when screen does. I like what I hear, so far, clarity wise which is so important! The contents provide many hours of listening. I just don’t like to have to go into my settings to change the audio-lock to “never” and back again after using the app. Without doing so the audio blows out like a candle when my screen goes back to sleep unless I’ve missed something. I am contacting the developer.

AA. Great app consisting of two iconic people who guide us through the ultimate road map of recovery. Android version has way more features but this is still good.

Was expecting a little more.. The android app by Ibyte is much better. Was expecting this one to be identical. But it’s not. I’ll still have to use my phone instead of my Ipad to get the much better, and more, features.
