Keeping Track. I really like this app, and have been using it for almost 6 months..I have a lot of different bills and to be honest I forget about some of them, so when it comes time to pay on them, all I have to do is go into Fudget and look at each bill. This app allows you to add as many bills as you wish, as well as mark off the bills you pay as you go on. You can also do multiple months/weeks/days at a time and it’s such an easy click of the button, that it will transfer all reoccurring monthly bills to the next month/week/day. It has helped me keep track of everything and remember important bills and the amount needing to pay on that bill . I will continue to use this app and would definitely recommend this app (Fudget) to others looking for something just like this!

This is the best budget app I have found. I’ve been using this app now for a few months and I absolutely love it it’s easy to set up and add or alter your incomes and expenses and see totals of each and what would be left over, you can move things around and set up multiple budgets at a time and even set things as reoccurring which every time you set up a new budget it will ask you if you want to import those reoccurring amounts and you have the option to do it or not. It is so simple and easy to use and I am so glad I found this app. I made this review a LONG time ago but I wanted to say that I have been using this app now since it came out and I still use it ALL the time!!!!

Great app to track your expenses.. Very simple to use to track expenses. I like that I don’t have to link any bank account and I don’t get stupid email advertisements. The only reason I don’t give 5 start for this app is that when you create a budget you cannot create sub-categories within. I would like to be able to create a budget for a month “May” and then have subcategories within such as “groceries”. As it is, I have to make separate budgets for “May groceries,” “May bills,” “May entertainment,” etc. and then if I want to keep previous months’ budgets and not delete themes well as have the new months’ budgets, I have a lot of budgets in the main screen to look through which gets confusing. I have figured it out and am using as is because I like the app’s simplicity, but I wish he would change it so that you could make subcategories within each month’s budgets.

A review from an ex-user of other budgeting apps. Fudget has very good features. Fudget also has some things I think can be improved. Pros - 1. Very clean app. 2. You can use a calculator to calculate transactions while you scroll up and down on the upper half of the screen through transactions. 3. You can mark when transactions are paid. 4. Although kinda buggy Fudget’s not as buggy as other budgeting apps I’ve had. 5. You can make a separate “main budget” without it getting in the way of the other budgets and transactions. 6. Has potential for more improvement. Cons - 1. Transactions are hard for you to see behind the calculator. 2. I would like to see if it’s possible for the calculator to be made to extend below the bottom of the transactions so they can all be seen as well as calculated if needed. 3. Bugs are always a problem. 4. You have to type in each transaction name individually. I would like to see a feature that would make it where transaction names could be put under a category that the user makes. Then users could scroll through a list of categories made by them to add to a transaction. I miss being able to do this from Spending Tracker (although I don’t miss the pre-made transaction categories).

Not so great. in my opinion, fudget has many problems that can be improved, although it does have some useful features. with some improvements, the app will be much better and comfortable to use. I think that the app is too rudimentary, it lacks important features, and it is hard to organize different budgets. while I was using the app I had trouble organizing and categorizing my spendings. I needed to keep track of the things that I bought, but I also needed to categorize them into different categories without the help of the app. I ended up having to create twice as many budgets to keep track of where I spent my money, along with which type of category it went to. but once I figured out how to do it it did become easier to use. the app also lacks certain features that would have made it a lot easier to operate. for example, the calculator is unavailable to the non-paid version, (as stated above) there is no easy way of categorizing, and there is no guide to teach the useful features. these traits, if implemented, can make the app much more efficient and easy to use. regardless the app does have some useful features; and to some, simplicity can be useful. the app does allow you to see where a percentage of your budget goes, it allows for dates to be recorded, and it also allows for charts. all in all the app is not the best. but it does have some useful features. It has room for improvement, and if changes are made, it would be a great app to use.

Love it ! Very easy to use. I was tired of using the notes section on my iPhone and it being accidentally deleted by me moving too quickly or holding down the select button. Most apps I tried were more in a calendar format or monthly. I like the list form and the fact that I can change the dates to the right myself once I’ve paid them for that month. Also, I love how you can make several budgets. For example , I have one for monthly expenses , our family car insurance and what/who has paid what, and other combined payment plans or things I am saving for . I am really loving it so far and am thankful it fits my way of visually organizing things . I’m a special needs mom to a medically complex little lady and I’m constantly organizing things on my calendar already so linking my finances to my calendar is just too chaotic . I pay bills from my phone usually ok waiting rooms so this is easy to update . This is perfect for me .

Love this app!!!!. I have been searching for an app that I can add income/cash deposits as I receive them as I am a rideshare driver and never know how much I will be earning weekly. For years I’ve been writing my expenses and expected expenses in a book! (In fact different books, whatever diary/notebook I had at the time.) Recently I have been making notes in Notes in my iPhone! It’s a mess! I downloaded other apps but you had to add your monthly income and you couldn’t put in amounts manually as they come in. Also a lot of my expenses are not fixed. (Fuel, groceries etc) Most apps are budgeting your monthly expenses which isn’t what really works for me at the moment! I need to see what’s coming in and what’s going out. I can estimate what I will spend on fuel but then can add the actual cost and delete my estimate!! I upgraded so I can have a running balance and get rid of the adds. You can also change the color of the “backdrop” and you can also upload the information to Dropbox. Another GREAT feature is you can have different budgets. So you could do a weekly one or if you have a savings account that you use for unexpected expenses or “treats”! BRILLIANT!!! Life changing for me! Seriously! Thanks!

The Only Budget App You Need. I can’t believe how much time I’ve spent trying to keep track of expenses in documents and excel sheets with constantly trying to stay up to date on the most recent budget. Eventually after I couldn’t keep track of what I put away for savings I looked for an app. I wanted something simple and easy and that’s exactly what this is! As an independent contractor there’s a lot to prepare for and save for later. I’m able to create multiple budgets to keep track - Christmas gifts savings, emergency savings, tax savings, and monthly budgets. I can also create budgets to plan for the month ahead. I immediately felt my stress float away after using this app. Helped with so much that was once a headache. Thank you!!! Also you need this app!

Exactly what I was looking for!!. I just installed this app and purchased the Pro upgrade. After using a few other apps that missed the mark with too many features and complicated processes, this app does exactly what I do with my personal budget spreadsheets. The only features I immediately thought would be helpful would be a setting for an expense's and/or income's due date and/or reminder. But for now I can keep my personal calendar settings for that. Otherwise, great app!!! Update: Now after having used this app for years, I would like to see a feature that would allow me to sort the list of budgets created. I have so many that I now have to scroll down very far to get to the most recent budgets. I keep everything and now am resorting to the backups that are not fun to do.

Love it!. Being a young adult, it’s sometimes hard to keep track of my money and learn where I’m spending too much! This app helps me realize how much money I’m spending on stuff I don’t really need. I use a budget for each of my credit cards, my savings account and my checking account. I love this app too because when I pay bills such as my car payment, loans and credit card payment, it doesn’t reflect in my bank account right away - takes about 3 days - and it still says I have that additional money - which I really don’t. I love the option to show my running balance on the Fudget app because I can see what I TRULY have left and prevents me from over drafting. Only thing I wish I could do would be in addition to adding an expense or an income, i could also put a transfer to one budget to another - i.e when I make a credit card payment from my checking account, I can show that I transferred the money instead of it showing that I spent that money. But not a big deal, still absolutely love the app!

This Is An Excellent App!. Danny, I’m impressed with this app so much! After doing some research, the reviews in this app convinced me to get it, especially the review of the person who’s used it since 2017 and replaced an Excel spreadsheet. Well tonight I input my budget into this app and have gotten rid of my Excel spreadsheet I’ve used for many years! It covered all the needs I had and more! Easier, nicer layout, good glance at totals, nice flexibility with multiple budgets, and after upgrading to Pro, the removal of ads, the calculator that lets you use the calculated total for an entry, the theme change, and the Dropbox save/restore are all features I used and like! Suggestions for even more efficiency: 1. Cloud sync to all devices. 2. After creating a new budget and tapping into it, when asked to carry over starred items, enable choosing which budget to import those starred items from as opposed to the most recently created. 3. Make a Remove All Paid Marks From Entries option (to start the budget fresh, for example at the start of a new month). 4. Add an Undo option to Undo deletion of an entry (I still use Apple’s shake to Undo, hehe). Thanks for all your hard work! I’m gonna show this app to my cousin tomorrow to help him establish a budget 👍😎.

I just started using the free version today. So granted I don’t have a lot of experience with it. No budgeting app I’ve tried so far really does what I need it to do but this one seems to give me enough to work with, that I can work it by doing a lot of stuff manually. My main complaint about these apps is they don’t give you anyway to include expenses charged to a credit card. I wound up making a second budget for my credit card and Jerry-rigged it so I can use the pie charts from my bank account budget and credit card budget to see what I’m actually spending and where, by manually adding the categories. Tedious, but hey… better than nothing. I don’t need to share my data across different devices and I can sort the categories with the pie chart so I don’t really need the features you charge for. If you figure out a way I can combine the expenses from my two budgets without screwing up my balances I’d pay you for that. And give you another star. Also, line graphs of my different categories of expenses over time would be awesome. Like which months am I spending more on the horses, on my supplements, on my truck, etc etc That’s worth another star for sure!! But thanks! Best, most user-friendly effort I’ve tried so far. 😎👍

Honestly the best money tracking app.. I didn’t have to give any of my information, and I’m able to input all the expenses and incomes on my own and remove them if I’ve made a mistake or if things change. I never wanted to get a money tracking app because I was so skeptical about giving all my personal info like that and this app made it less personal while still making it super easy. This has made it significantly easier to save money too. I’d been trying to start saving for a car and Christmas and because I’m able to track my money so closely I can determine where to slow down on spending and just set aside the cash. I’ve also been a lot more conscious of my extra spending. So all in all this app is great.

This is awesome!. I was looking for an app in which I could make separate budgets as I get paid twice per month. This app not only shows you how much you are spending BUT it also shows you how much you are saving or overspending, which helps you visualize your budget and helps you accommodate. After trying the free version, I decided to spend the $2.99 that it costs for the full version. The only thing that I would recommend is to make the “star” items more transferable. I do budgeting every 15 days and I have to “unstar” each item in one budget in order to transfer the others to the new date. That would make twice a month budgeting easier... I am VERY satisfied with this product!

Best of the best. You can best believe if there was a world record for the worst with money I would’ve pioneered it, and then subsequently broke it 150x by now. Well, I tried every single budgeting app under the sun, you name it, it’s somewhere on my phone being a waste of space. Enter fudget, one day I decide it’s time to SERIOUSLY make a change. So I jump onto App Store and begin my perilous hunt through “budgeting AI” apps that handle my finances about as well Bill Cosby handles women, finally fudget blesses my life with its existence. No joke, if you need the walkthrough use it because it’s about as comprehensive as State Farm’s Full coverage car insurance. However this app is so easy that I could’ve handed my phone to my husky and she would’ve seemed like a financier with a masters degree and 25 years in the field. I literally have never felt so confident with my money. 10/10 git rekt other financing apps, nothing does it like this.

Simple App With a Few Quirks. Fudget is a great simple money management app. It has a simple, clean interface and is easy to navigate. You can easily add transactions and dates to them. I like the ability to use whatever currency you want to in the app, and the fingerprint unlock is a nice touch. There are quite a few things that can definitely be improved though. There’s no way to see all of your transactions on the pie chart across budgets, only within each budget. Also, the ads on the bottom are quite annoying in my opinion. There are many better ways to implement ads that don’t add to the quality of the app instead of subtracting from it. The One way to improve the app but still include ads is to get rid of the ads at the bottom but make a way to make users want to watch ads by giving them something in return. It would also be nice if there was a way to use more than one currency at a time. Overall though this is a great app to track expenses and manage your money.

Want to love it…. After seeing the five star reviews, I did not hesitate to download this app. It is easy enough to get started with and most importantly there is no account setup requirement and I don’t have to sync to my bank account. I also like there is no subscription and the one time purchase price is good. These are the features I love. The problem I am having, is trying to swipe left to edit the budget name is really wonky. It doesn’t consistently respond when trying to swipe on a budget to change the name or to access the delete option. This is frustrating and ruins an otherwise hopeful budget app. I would easily give it five stars and purchase the pro version were it not for this concern. Maybe it will get fixed. Update: The problems stated above have been fixed. It is a worthy app! So far best I have discovered. It would be nice to have a feature to separate out savings or other types of funds (like emergency fund or new dress fund) from the running balance. This would make it easier to compare balance in Fudget to my actual checking account without having to subtract. But this is not a deal breaker, but would easily take it to the next level.

Just Right!!. I downloaded a few apps after researching. I deleted the rest and kept this for many reasons. First, it was free (though after building my budgets and playing in the app for about an hour, I happily paid $4 for the upgrade to change the color, and download for sharing -I didn’t even mind the apps honestly). Also, because it was very simple to use and easily customizable for the types of budgets I need to keep. I was able to make a standard budget, some breakdown budgets to plan pay-offs, track quarterly and annual subscriptions, and set up templates for a vacation and a renovation. I love the date feature and the calculation feature which lets you subtract or add from your line items as you go. I appreciate this app the most because of its simplicity, however if I could add one thing, it would be to be able to clone the budgets, because I want to keep my standard budget as a template and actually update a version of it on a monthly basis. If there is a way to do this, please let me know! Overall, thanks for this awesome app, I feel prepared to move into the new year as a new financially responsible me!

Great but needs more. I’ve been using Fudget for ~9 months. Honestly, the simplicity of it is what makes the app great! Through day-to-day use it’s amazing. It has definitely made finances easier. However, it’s been a while since a drastic update (which it deeply needs). Some suggestions I have include a budget within a budget. Like a folder inside a folder. It could largely help with organizing. Another suggestion I have to have a separate section for recurring fees for even better organization! All in all, I recommend the app to everyone as it will help with finances and is the easiest app to understand and utilize. Even though it’s easy to understand, it does not sacrifice efficiency. An update would be much appreciated!

Good so far. I bought this a few hours ago, so my opinion may change. So far its been smooth sailing. Nice, simple. I would suggest a notes column next to the expense column. So, for example, if I put it in an expense as a “bill” to keep my categories simple for the pie chart, I can put a description of the company or person I’m paying in the note. That would get 5 stars from me. Edit: I've put it down to 3 stars because I can't share the pro app with family sharing. Because I had to purchase the free app and then upgrade, my fiancee would also have to pay to upgrade to pro. You should really have a pro version we can buy so family sharing actually matters and we don't have to double purchase to be able to share our budgeting.

Perfect for categorizing your budget!. Until I found Fudget I had been using Excel on my laptop for my budget because I wanted a specific format so that I could see my running budget per category. Finding Fudget has been life changing! I don’t have to hold onto receipts, take them home and enter into my laptop anymore. Now I can enter right into my cell phone as I spend! I love that I can do a budget for each specific category, which is what I have been looking for. I can budget for groceries, fuel, restaurants, etc and see my running totals of what is still available to date in a simple & straightforward format. Also, I already have my bills budgeted and don’t need to recreate the wheel and go through all of that hassle as with other budget apps (like Every Dollar), love that this one allows more freedom with creating your own budget. I just wanted to budget our expenses outside of bills and this app gave me the freedom and flexibility to make it my own! So I am very happy with the app! Thank you!!!!

Best budgeting app out there!. Been using this app for a few months now. It does all the math by itself: New balances, income vs outcome, future transactions vs paid transactions. There's also a convenient calculator in every budget you make. I would rate 5 stars but the only bad thing is that you can't print directly from the screen. Whenever you are done budgeting you have to export each budget by email, open that email from where ever and then print it. It's very simple to move around within the app. I'll consider a purchase and account the future balance within this app in a few seconds. It's also very customizable. I have many different budgets organized neatly by name at the home screen. I can re arrange by tapping and holding, and then dragging the budgets up and down the screen.

Great!! BUT would be 5 stars if they added one thing. This is a really great app for tracking my spending! I like that you have complete freedom as to what you would like to add as a budget and aren’t confined to specific categories or confined to only a monthly budget. I can do them bi-weekly, which I can’t do with a lot of other budgeting apps. You can also rollover recurring items, which I appreciate. The one downfall is that I wish you could create subcategories within the same budget. I would love to show the total amount of money available and overall different areas of spending. Then be able to breakdown of each spending area showing exactly how that money was spent, within that same overall budget. Currently, I have to create a whole separate budget in order to get that breakdown.

Cannot Recommend App Enough. I’ve been looking all over for a good, simple budgeting app. All of the ones we have nowadays are extremely complicated, and often do not allow you to keep track of more than one budget. I actually did find one I liked a couple of years ago, but because it had such little traffic the developers had to wrap it up and take it down. I really hope that doesn’t happen with this one! I’m in my early 20s, and doing my best to develop good spending habits. This app is straightforward, effective, and easy to understand. I love that I can set up multiple budgets to keep my eye on without having to pay a bunch of subscriptions. In fact, once I save up a little bit of money, I plan to buy the one time payment for the full app experience (the payment is definitely not a lot! It’s less than $10. I’m just a very broke 20 year old haha)! That’s how pleased I am with this app!! I hope more people will be able to find this app and also support the developer :)

Bitter Sweet. I really like the simplicity of the app but now that I am serious about budgeting I feel there are some things that can help make the app more effective and organized without so much going on for example: I have to creat one big budget for my monthly expenses and then separate all of the things in that budget into budgets of their own because I like to see what I’m spending on within my budget if that makes sense. I would like to have a big budget with things like bills, household, family needs etc with the option to click into each one and see purchases and corresponding numbers so I guess something like a ledger within the budget scheme. It helps me not fry my brain trying to remember everything little thing I purchased or paid or have to move in between apps to get something done. I know this is just a budget app but it would really be ahead if it had this option. Other than that it’s nice :).

I actually use this!. You know all those fancy apps that do this and make that and ooh, bells, whistles! Yeah, it looks awesome the first time you open it, but then it keeps tinkling and whistling at you and you never actually use the dang thing. This is not that. Fudget is ridiculously simple, and hey presto, I use it constantly! I've never had a budget before in my life and now I do. I've been using this steadily for almost a year which is like an eon in my attention span... Squirrel! I am a freelancer, so my pay fluctuates every month. Once I know what I will get paid for next month, I go put in my income. Fudget has saved all my regular expenses, so it puts those in for me. I check them off as I pay them. I don't detail everything, just major expenses including my credit card (paid off monthly) that I use to budget for groceries, eating out, etc. I keep an eye on my card balance and make sure it does not go over my Fudget budget. Easy! Then when I am thinking of spending money on some ridiculous or not so ridiculous thing, I go and check Fudget first. It tells me I can afford a new blender or I need to wait a month and maybe save for it. I also am using this to save for some travel, track my quarterly tax payments. I cannot believe I actually have a budget, but I finally do!

Elegant and simple. This app has a very user-friendly interface, tutorial, tools, and functionality. If takes moments to learn and setup. Useful additional features at a one time, low, price. It's not overly complex, unless you want that level of detail (I do not). You are able to easily setup, create, name, edit, and delete any item/record and track what you wish without trying to fit things into prenamed items or categories. So far it's been the only budget app I've found that let's me create a basic budget, an overview of income vs living expenses like bills. And does the math. I don't want to track transactions and itemized spending - I have an app that does that from my accounts. It's not useful.

Awesome38. So far I’m enjoying this app on the first day. I wish I found this long time ago. I can only see where it can improve on just a very few things. For example the calculator got stuck and I could not press the “X” to just exit out without checking the green check mark to accept the calculation for an item but that’s not a biggie for me. However, I do wish it had another Tab for a calendar page where I can set reminder alerts to pay each budget bill that I created on a calendar day without using my phone calendar. Next I would still allow for item color pics to label those items on the calendar on the free version just like emojis are free on phones. I recommend this app to anyone just starting off getting straight or learning to plan their budgets. Love it...

Simple, easy, effective. This app is incredible! I’ve gone through many budgeting apps and gave up on most of them bc of the complex designs and how it links to my bank account. I love that Fudget is SIMPLE and easy to work with. But what I love the most is the sheer action of marking down my expenses which make me more aware of my spending rather than my bank account being automatically linked without my conscience awareness of my spending habits. It helps me take action of what I choose to buy. It’s been helping me keep my budget and helps me CLEARLY see what I have left, what I can save, and what I can spend. After all the apps I’ve tried, this app is the one that sticks and it keeps it enjoyable to list your budget with its simplistic yet eye-pleasing design.

Awesome electronic ledger. Can really help a person become more aware about their finances. Bank apps don’t always reflect your current balance. Sometimes a transaction hasn’t hit the account such as when making payments for bills. There are also times where a transaction is pending and that’s because the merchant hasn’t processed it yet. But I believe it’s after 3 business days the pending transaction disappears from your list of transactions. With either of these situations, it always makes us think we have more money than we actually do and we all know that leads to trouble lol. I don’t keep a stack of receipts to reconcile my accounts and I surely do not use a paper ledger anymore. Most people have smartphones and most people are tethered to their phones so the convenience and ease of updating a ledger for your accounts with Fudget is awesome. I gave it four stars because I’m now using the app on an iPhone 6 instead of 7plus and I don’t have the option to add transaction dates. I have to manually type it in the description now. I know the phone is a bit smaller but I know that the transaction date option can still work even on the smaller devices. It’s not that serious. But it’s serious enough for me lol. Honestly If I hadn’t used Fudget on the 7 plus first I’m sure I would be giving it 5 stars but since I did...I have to take away a star. Still an awesome app.

Excellent. Absolutely my go to-app to plan out all of my expenses. I love everything about it. First of all, I love that it doesnt request any accesses to your bank accounts and credit cards. You give it data you want. You can also opt not to share or save the data with anything/anyone/anywhere outside of the app. Love that, too. Secondly, it’s just so user friendly. It’s got all the numbers at your fingertips (like how much you spent so far, how much you have left, etc.). I have multiple “budgets” going… like my base monthly budget, monthly “fun” money budget, travel budget, etc. I love it. Like for example, I budgeted $320 for my hair appointment this month and I spent “only” $285. I never used to track expenses like that, but since I started using the app I actually started being cautious about my “under budget” money and now transfer it immediately to my savings, and then invest. The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice to have the ability to copy/paste a budget. As I mentioned, I keep a base monthly budget with all my monthly bills and anticipated monthly expenses and I usually re-enter the same expenses for each month that I wish I could just copy and paste.

This is THE ONE!!. I have tried so many different budgeting apps and this is the best I’ve used. It lays things out logically, the interface is simple and extremely user friendly. It’s basically my little handwritten notebook budget, but 100X better. They don’t ask to link bank accounts, thank goodness, I don’t like doing that! It lets me see my monthly budgets all in one screen then I can click to view and interact with, and see running totals for the month individually. I can see how much I have left and plan for larger purchases. You can set it up how you like. Easy to edit and delete entries. Took me a couple of hours to enter all my stuff for the remainder of 2020, but it was time well spent. You can flag entries to automatically be entered on the next budget (next month) you create. Gives me everything I wanted in a budgeting app. Seriously, thank you!!! Btw, I had NO problem with paying 4 bucks to get to add dates to my entries. One time fee, NOT recurring! Brilliant!!

Great Potential For A Solid Budget Application. This application continues to improve with each added update. As it stands it is a very good basis for planning on a month by month basis. With a little extra insight by the user it can be adapted as an excellent month to month cash flow monitor and budget planner. It's a keeper. (Added, Jul 8, 2017) The inability to have automatically pass balances from one budget to another prevents my using Fudget as an integrated cash flow tool. But still a handy program. (Added, Aug 21, 2017) Been on vacation with Fudget as my only cash monitor. Sure glad I had it handy. (Added, July 18, 2019) Still using and still like. I use it as the need arises. (Added, Dec 24, 2020) Having used this application since 2017 and having spent hours looking for a better one I’ve came to the conclusion that no other application offers the capability of using it as an annual cash flow manager. Aside from having to tweak the application at the beginning of each month, based on annual computations using a spreadsheet, Fudget allows excellent credit/debit actions between multiple budgets. I only use one Budget, a checkbook, with a positive balance. All other budgets are negative so that the total is ‘Free’ money. If ever ‘Negative’ I’m in trouble. I don’t think the author had this type of usage in mind but I’m glad the capability is there. This application replaced a very large Excel for Applications spreadsheet modified with macros. Love it!

Perfect Budgeting App For Me. I’ve used many different budgeting apps, and each has its perks, but in the end Fudget is what I personally prefer. I used to budget on those magnet list pads you can buy for a dollar. I wrote the date of each bill, and then balanced out spending for gas, groceries, etc. If you already have a good handle on budgeting, and know where your money goes then this app is perfect. It’s simple list style, and you can copy the list over each month. Easy. Convenient too because it is on your phone. Other apps such as You Need a Budget or Mint are neat too, but have way more info than I want or need. I suggest trying all three to see what works for you. You Need A Budget is cool for the added articles and advice. Mint does a great job showing you where every cent of your money is going to every month. In the end, I don’t use Mint or You Need a Budget anymore though, I stick to Fudget. Another app I recommend is Acorns. I highly suggest giving it a try. It teaches you how to invest in a very simple way, and you will get a much higher interest rate than a standard savings account.

A manual drop box sync…really?. I paid $8, aka bought the app twice, so that I could use it on my pc and phone, and it has a manual dropbox sync? This means every time I make a change on either platform I have to remember to sync it to dropbox and then re-upload from dropbox on the alternate platform, or else any changes I made get overwritten. This means that instead of simplifying my financial life, this app forces me to play weird memory guessing games with myself. Not only are you already overcharging for an app with such cheap and limited functionality, without a normal sync feature like EVERY OTHER APP HAS, this app renders itself an actual liability. It would be a net loss for me to use this app in any capacity, as with every upload and download from dropbox, I increase my chances of an error. I don’t know how much you guys are paying for all these positive reviews, but wow. Huge letdown.

Very very awesome app. I use Fudget, together with another budget app called BalanceCheckbook. Between these two apps, my entire financial life is planned and organized. With Fudget I organize my regular expenses, usually per paycheck. Its very user friendly, and I have recommended Fudget to at least 10 people and all of them love it as well. Very very awesome app. I dropped it from 5 stars because I desperately wish Fudget had a budget to budget memory function. I get that you can star items and add them to another budget but it would be even better if with this, when naming a budget item, it could recommend previous items based on the input characters. Also, would be great if the date column auto sorted the budget items from earliest to latest. Thanks so much for the hard work, my wife and I love your app!

Works as on-the-go tool to track spending. I don’t have time for a complex budgeting system. I have my elaborate color coated excel spreadsheet as an overview on everything regarding me family’s budget. But I use Fudget to track my grocery/entertainment/household needs spending. It’s a simple way to help me stay on track and I can record/ tally my spending immediately which is exactly what I needed. I don’t even link it to my bank account because i wanted to only focus on what I spend regarding certain items so I input earnings and expenses manually. It’s definitely keeping me accountable and mindful of frivolous spending. I recommend it to anyone who wants to track their spending and stay on budget simply and easily.

Finally the spending tracker I was looking for!. Since I know my fixed expenses don’t change, once I have lowered those as much as possible, the best way for me to take control of my spending is to give myself a weekly allowance for everything that is variable outside of my fixed monthly bills. Such as groceries, eating out, entertainment, kids activities, gas, clothing. I personally don’t care how much I spend in these categories, as long as I don’t go over my weekly/monthly budget. This app is the only app I have found (and I have downloaded at least 15 different ones!!) that allows me to simplify and stay within my budget by just keeping track of my spending without needing to plug in my whole financial picture. VERY SIMPLE METHOD TO BE SUCCESSFUL!!

Simple and Elegant. I’ve been using the app for slightly more than a month, and it’s by far the easiest, most user-friendly expanse tracking program I’ve used. I use it on my iPhone and iPad and sync the two effortlessly through Drop Box, though I do wish there was an automatic Apple sync function. The one suggestion I would make, that would help me is to include the capability to use multiple currency symbols. In my case, most of my income and some of my expenses are in US Dollars. However, I don’t live in the States and most of my day-to-day expenses are in another currency. I set up a budget to track cash expenses, but I’m forced to use the $ symbol since that’s the currency symbol for other budgets. It’s a minor annoyance but an annoyance nonetheless.

Simple, easy, and gets the job done!. This app is very easy and straight forward to use. It is pretty basic, which is not a bad thing—makes it simple enough that anyone can use it. I’ve had other budget apps that are overly complicated and too difficult to edit and use, but this one is exactly opposite. It does not connect to your banks and credit card accounts to track your expenses, so if you’re looking for that feature, its not here, but I actually like that it doesn’t. Its basically a simple spreadsheet that is so easy to edit and write my budget down, and export data to and from if I wanted to. One feature that I wish it had but it doesn’t, is a debt tracker for credit cards and loans, and perhaps a tracker for assets such as investments and real estate which would be helpful for tracking net worth. For this reason alone, I only give four instead of five stars. I supposed you could roughly track this at a snapshot basis by creating another “budget” and list your assets as “income” and your debts as “expenses”—so that the calculation at the bottom of the screen will represent your net worth at any given time—though you will have to manually update this each moment you want to see where you are at with things. It wouldn’t be very useful for creating a smart plan for repaying debts or account for interest accrued or anything fancy like that. Overall, I like this app a lot for its simplicity and ease of use. Well done!

A great app.. The way you can set up what are incomes and expenses is actually and coincidentally the look of how I had set up my monthly finances the same way for nearly a year, with a pen and a pad attached to a clipboard I have. Don't get me wrong, as awkward as it was to enjoy using a ruler to make the straight lines and organize the page as perfectly much as I wanted, I can do pretty much everything that I had chosen to want to write down and see information wise into this app, and I don't even know of any other things there might be extra to help me out or add to because I've been happy enough with the plane amount of the app that I've been using. So yeah, definitely a nice and good thing to use in a monthly finance organization type of way that isn't just a graph showing percentages. You get to type in dates, different words, amounts of things. Move those different things around when needed, and it's been good and simple enough to use so far. I like the fact that it took me using my notepad and a clipboard, out of the equation. I still have it to use for other things, but I like the fact that this app pretty much kind of takes over me when I did it that way. 👍🏻

I love this ~ a lot. Multiple budgets with a running total let’s you drag and drop items and see how it affects your budget & if there’s enough to cover what’s due and when it’s able to be paid. Also use it it to track current balance due on monthly payment accounts without having to log into the account to see where you stand. Tried a lot of budgeting apps that were more trouble to use than functional. This does everything you need without over complicating things with potentials, maybes, suggestions, pointless charts. Everything in this is designed for simplicity and accuracy. It also makes a useful basic checking account register.

Clean & Simple. …and sometimes simple is exactly what you need. So much easier than trying to use an app that has too many bells and whistles when you really just need a space to stay easily and quickly organized. I have 3-4 clients and will be using this to organize each one plus my personal budget which with quarterly taxes will make it all much easier and actually easier than Quickbooks since they pull everything automatically and there are always duplicates and mistakes that take hours to unravel. For a small independent contractor like me, this is perfect, better than a spreadsheet but can be put into one if needed.

Tastes like fudge. Looked at so many different apps and they all want to tie into my account and they don’t let me plan anything for after I retire in a few years. With this I actually was able to plug-in future retirement for where I’m going to be, I was able to plug in my savings as a budget so while I am taking away from my monthly budget I can actually add it into a savings budget. The full program is awesome and I like being able to save to dropbox. Simple and easy and I like being able to move the starred items to the next budget. It even asked me if I wanted to add them to some of the budgets that I had already created but since those were for savings in the future I didn’t need them and it was a simple no to get it to not try to think for me. It’s the best part of the app, it doesn’t try to force me to do anything. Thank you

Simple - A Spreadsheet but Easier. I’ve jumped between a lot of budgeting apps over the years. EveryDollar, Mint, YNAB, before eventually succumbing to the “I’ll do it myself mentality” of making a spreadsheet. However perfect my spreadsheet was for me, I felt like I overdid it. I’m now more of a “track the recurring items and use the rest appropriately” kind of budgeter now. I like Danny’s app because it lets me see all my recurring monthly’s in one spot, like a spreadsheet, and has running totals for the month. It’s simplicity keeps me from over thinking and spending too much time balancing. I’m also grateful for the one time app purchase. I’d suggest some keyboard enhancements - autocorrect or autocomplete don’t seem to work on most labels. I’m so grateful to have found this project of necessity and compassion. Thank you!

Great app. This app makes my life so much easier to manage finance wise. It helps keep track of what you are spending, what you can’t spend. you can even input your future expenses and it can show a running balance on each one, so you can see how much you will have prior to that upcoming expense as well as what you’ll have after. If you know what all your expenses are in advance and can input them, you’ll even be able to see what your future balance will be. I love Love Love this app. I especially love that I can do all this without having to connect my bank account to it. I don’t trust connecting my bank to anything, so this makes me feel safer. However, for those that want to connect your bank, the safest app for that is Mint. But if you’re like me and just don’t like connecting your bank to stuff, and like keeping track of it all yourself. Or even want to start savings budgeting options without having to worry about it being in separate accounts, this is definitely the app for you.

Just got it and am putting it to good use! But...got a few questions. I love that it’s clean and intuitive to use. I am a grad student who works two part-time jobs and have started a software company about 2 years ago. I’ve been using Google Sheets and Numbers to track my expenses (ineffectively) and wanted something a little more structured that I did have to design myself AND use on my iPad Pro. I really appreciate the running balance, which helps a great deal. I also purchased the upgrade since it was a one time cost opposed to a subscription - which I also loved. However, when I attempted to reach out to ‘Danny’ to ask a question (from my iPad), the window opened prompting me to set up a new email account. If I had an email address, I could just open one of the four email accounts already on this machine and reach out to him from there. So that experience wasn’t ideal. The reason I wanted to reach out to him, is that I wanted to know if there is a way I can schedule or list expenses that occur bi-weekly or weekly, opposed to monthly? If there is, I am not sure how to find it. Please advise. Thx in advance!

Straightforward App. Spreadsheets still make my head hurt! I wanted a digital copy of my weekly budget because drawing out the columns and doing the computations is too time consuming. I’m not yet running a business; tracking multiple investments or any of the other reasons why one might need a complex financial app. I just want to see what I made and who I paid from week to week. This app is simple and straightforward and that is NOT a dig on the developers! I have set up “budgets” that show me how my emergency fund is growing (only populated with income and not expenses) as well as how I spend my “cash on hand.” I have been able to establish a budget for Christmas shopping and a birthday fund. Overall, the “budget” is whatever I need it to be! I’m inputting all my handwritten sheets from the beginning of the year. This way, I can stop carrying my paper around. I just upgraded and haven’t learned all the features available to me now, but I plan to. If you want to replace the paper checkbook register and the handwritten list of bills; if you want to know how you spend your money or you just don’t want to spend more than you make AND you have no plans on taking a course to learn how to use the program that lets you do it - THIS APP IS FOR YOU!

Close to perfect for me. If you are looking for a simple budget tracker Fudget is the app for you. I’ve been using it now for a couple of years and while it has some weird quirks, (my starred expenses sometimes don’t move from month to month) this app does the trick better than any of the way overly complicated apps that require way too much information. I just really need a list of my expenses and a rolling balance to know every month what I can spend and what I can save. I check and use it every single day. Entering and updating expenses is easy. I pay the same bills every month so being able to create the next months budget off the previous month is perfect. Only thing I wish it had was a way to categorize expenses into buckets like utilities, mortgage, transportation, recreation, etc. Seems like this could easily be done with a simple color dot that represents each category. This would be a nice to have for an other great app.

Congratulation to Developer, I wished if only it would have one more option!!!. I am very happy I found this app. I’ve been searching for something like this for long time. I LOVE IT. Very easy to use. It helps you keep your budget organized, categorized and up to date. if you update it as you spend on a daily basis, you will always have real available balance, since your account doesn’t show the right amount (due to pending transactions that sometimes can take days, etc) •LOVE THE SIMPLE LAYOUT• This is what makes this app so great. It is clean and neat. Please never change this. •LOVE THE CHART• It keeps you aware on how much you spend per category day to day. •MESSAGE FOR DANNY DEVELOPER• •I wish if there was an option to add a comment/description within each expense (next to delete, star, paid, calculator option). I am sure that most of us categorize all expenses for better organization. It makes it difficult to remember/keep a track on details regarding a certain expense. Right now I make notes in another app, but I would love to do it all in the same app. •I also wish if there is an option to export the budget with two extra columns: Date and (still non existing:) comment part. Please consider adding these two options. With those two this app would be an absolute winner. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you for giving us such an amazing app. Ana

Easy to use. Great functionality, user friendly, would be awesome to have the option for current totals using dates in budget (like a 3rd option, paid, balance, current). This could help people see at a glance if they are still within budget, but awesome otherwise

Best budget app I’ve ever used!. The person who designed this app did an amazing job and including all aspects that are needed to be seen while budgeting. Seeing the total amount of expenses really opens your eyes, being able to follow what is being spent and how much you’re going to have left over at the end of the week is a bonus!

Simplistically beautiful. 10/10 on app simplicity and also for adding all the bells and whistles making the app just a shear joy to use 🥳 we all know budgeting and money woes are the worst but this actually makes me feel I’m making a difference in my budget thanks to the app creator taking the time to make the app simple easy to use but ticks ALL the budgeting boxes ;)

Fabulous simple way to track spending. I love this app and am using it to quickly track day to day spending. It allows for easy titles and quick editing without rigid categorisation. I also like that i can make a ‘budget’ list without adding ‘income’ so that I can make a ‘wish list’ for future purchases.

Highly Recommend. Love this app! My partner and I both use it and it's helped us get back on track with our budget and we're even saving money!!! Highly recommend! I would love if there were different categories and an pie chart for so you can see an overall of the expenses in the categories. Eg. Rent Entertainment, Groceries, Take out, etc. I think this would make a great addition to the app 👍🏼

Fantastic app, can’t do without it now. This app has really helped me become more aware of my spending habits. I thought I was doing ok until I started tracking everything here and realised just how much I was wasting! Really easy to use and keeps me accountable. Thank you!

Simplicity is Best. This app has truly changed the way I budget for my daily living. It’s simplicity makes it easy to customise budgeting for different areas, weeks or whatever you may need it for. Highly recommend! I use this for my own budgeting at home and for travel! I can’t stress enough how good this app is!

Great budget app!. I’ve been using the Fudget app for quite a long time, it’s easy and simple to use. I love this app. It’s the best & only budget app that I’ve ever had. It’s amazing, I love it. If there’s any improvements to be made, please do so. If there’s any possibility to change the theme colour that would be great. Please keep it going and up to date.

LOVE IT!!!. Thank you so much Fudget for helping me finally get my finances in order & being so incredibly easy to use!! Can’t recommend this app enough, if you are trying to track your spending and bills all in one app which is super quick and easy to use - look no further!

Stop your searching for a budgeting app, this is it!. I have been using this app for over a year and it is absolutely perfect. So many budget apps are complicated, take large amounts of time to set up and do not have easy to use interfaces. I use the pro version of the app (the only app I have ever bought the paid version for) but wanted to put my review on this version to tell you that this is worth everything and more! To the developer, thank you for creating this incredible app. This has changed the way I look at and manage my finances. After feeling overwhelmed every time I tried to create a budget I am now in a place to buy a house!

Great app, needs more features. Love the app and have found it instrumental to me improving my money saving skills in the last few weeks. I think the newest update has brought a lot of great things to the app however there are a few more things that could be added. One simple thing is having the option to categorise or further specify chart or graph options. Or maybe categorise your expenses in certain brackets like food or health etc. This would then translate to the graph or any other chart you decide to add the app. Great app so far and I am excited for more.

Fantastic app. My budget planner used to be an excel sheet for the last 6+ years. Tried different apps every now and then but they just didn’t have what I was after or were just too complicated. Today I accidentally stumbled upon this app and decided to give it a go. Fell in love immediately and got the pro version in less than 30 minutes of using. Very well put together. Well worth it. Highly recommend!

Almost a perfect budgeting app!. Very easy to use, I only have the trial version but am going upgrade. As someone who works casual hours, this app has helped me to track my ins and outs on the fly. A week to week basis is how I budget and this works well for that purpose. There are just a few tweaks I would suggest. Well done to the developers and thanks

Awesome!!. I’ve tried heaps of budget apps and ended up deleting them because they’re either too complicated or too simple, and it was too hard to keep track of what I’d paid and what still needed paying, but this app is perfect and is exactly what I’ve been looking for! This app is awesome - easy to use, uncomplicated yet has everything you need. definitely recommend!

Simple & effective. I use it almost everyday to track my spending and estimated any upcoming expenses or to come up with multiple expenses plan to see what works for me!! This app is super simple and it takes away all unnecessary layers that kind of takes away from our real goal ie listing expenses/ liabilities Thank you Marc

An Excellent Budgeting App. I’ve tested many Budget Apps and found this one the only one worthy of me paying for. I use the app daily. I would only suggest one edit, I find it laborious making my fortnightly budgets individually when I feel it would be simple to add a “copy budget” function. Keep up the great work!

Finally!. I've been looking for a budgeting app for a number of years and the other apps I've used weren't suitable and didn't help me track my budget the way I wanted to. Finally I've found an app that ticks all the boxes!

Fusget Review. I have only been using Fudget for a short period but prior to that our family budget was on an excel spreadsheet. Using the spreadsheet of late has proven a tad hard as i meed to be on my laptop to use it effectively. I was after a simple and easy to use, uncluttered app to keep track of what my upcoming, regular and spontaneous expenses were, to ensure i had enough funds each pay period to cover everything. Fudget is just that! I wanted something that was free but i am happy to pay once i knew that the app was what i needed. I love the app so far. It offered a free upgrade which i will be happy to pay for once the expiry period is up. Lastly how could I resist writing a review for a young guy with a child trying to make a living, like the rest of us. Love that you made it personal with your pic! I like to see who the clever person is behind the scenes. Keep it up! Love your app! Jennie 😊

great app with more potential. great useful app. it would be extra good if i could make another subheading/budget within my budget. for example, being able to seperate my ‘June’ budget into weeks (“Week 1” etc). this would be very helpful. if this were to occur, it would be useful to have a balance at the end of each week so I could not only track my balance each month, but each week too. definitely worth the download

You saved me Danny ☺️. Loving Fudget. My son discovered it when he was about 20. He’s nagged me for 3 years to improve my life by it. I’m on Newstart atm - was on Austudy last year. I’ve got so little money I thought it was useless. But it’s mindfulness of spending & such joy to be in the green not red. Oh Danny, wish I could be paid for this review- ah NEED groceries! But kudos to you. Great app.

Very simple to use!. Thank you Danny for creating such a great app and making it so accessible for everyone. I was using an excel spreadsheet prior to this app, but I must say this is much more convenient for my needs. I‘ll leave here 2 suggestions that would really improve Fudget if incorporated: 1. Be able to share this document (live) with someone (my partner) so we can keep of all of our expenses together. 2. “Typography recognition” so you don’t have to type in ie: rent, groceries, fitness, etc every single time you enter an item, also, if you misspelled something or have a space, it recognizes it as a different category, and so the graph isn’t accurate. Thanks again!

So helpful. I use this app to plan out my expenses every week to make sure I’m staying on track. I love the fact you can mark something off as paid so as soon as it’s paid on my end, I mark it off on the app to keep track. I also keep every weeks budget so I can see where I am spending the most or what my regular expenses are. Highly recommend for a simple budget planner!

Brilliant App! Want to get your finances sorted!. This app is really amazing, trying to knuckle down and buy a house in the next year or two and was having trouble figuring out how much I spend and how much I could save. This app makes it so easy to see that, showing you how much you earn, spend and potentially save! I have introduced it to so many of my friends and family and they have all given me positive feed back. This is the first time I have written a positive review on anything. Thank you!

Budget app you can’t Fudge lol. Hey 👋 I’m normally really bad at keeping track of money! It drives my husband up the wall! Using card payment can be evil because you lose track of how many time you tap. Well this app has shown me when you log it and tack your spending you realise where your going wrong. I’m still new to the app but it’s working in my favour. I’m confident as time goes on I’ll only get better with my money handling as it’s teaching me to be more accountable with my spendings! Thanks Fudget! You rock!

So Far So Good!. Love the layout!!! It’s very rare that you find an app that is easy and compact in use and storage. Love the simplicity, and makes financing and budget (so far) really easy. I’m in the processes of sweating up my app and it’s actually made everything really clear and concise making it easier to think. Thank you!

Helpful app 👍🏻. It’s a well-working app with smooth functionality. Although, I think it needs a feature where you can group expenses into different categories, so that you can keep a track of how much you’re spending on groceries, for example. Apart from that, I think it is a job well done by the developer 👍🏻

I love Fudget!!!!. Seriously this app saves me every fortnight. It’s easy and quick to use. It’s like having my own personal accountant. If I need to make an extra purchase, I always add it to my expense list, so I stay on top of my finances. I recommend fudget to everyone, especially single parents who are always in the go!

Great app, despite a potential bug, clean and simple to use!. This app is basic but it’s easy to use right from the start. I love how I can use it on my iPhone while commuting, back it up to Dropbox, download the data on my computer when I get home and continue planning my budget. The only grumble I have is that sometimes it won’t download data onto my device because it keeps popping up with messages that I need to check my internet connection as it can’t connect to Dropbox, despite the fact I have no problems logging in or uploading to Dropbox. Regardless of no problems with my internet, WiFi or hotspot connection but a few days later it’ll be fine to download the data and then the next week it won’t. Overall, it’s worth using and I’ve tried a lot of other apps with most being overly complicated especially when they try to pack in too many extra functions. I also found that most aren’t accessible on devices AND computer + I haven’t found any that have Fudget’s clean and simple layout.

Love it. I’ve been using this app for about 6 months now and it’s great! It keeps me on track with my spending and I can make sure the important bills are paid first before I spend the rest. I do have to manually go in each time and swipe what I’ve paid but personally that’s good for me as because it keeps me organised although notification reminders would be good too, although I’m not sure if that’s in the paid version? But what you get for the free version it’s great! :)

Easy and fast. Works as advertised very easy to use for simple minded people like me.. it hasn’t crashed on me during use, works perfectly for my requirements. If your looking for a simple yet effective tool to organise your budget strategy I recommend this one. - Michael

Great app so far. I’ve been looking for something like this for such a long time! It’s very simple and soooooo easy to use and user-friendly interface love this! Handy when you’re on holiday and don’t want to spend above your budget

Amazing! I use this app multiple times everyday! So simple and helpful. I absolutely love this app, it does everything I need to keep track of expenses and incomes, so that I always know where I’m sitting financially. The multiple budget lists is a dream, Its so helpful to be able to sort out different budgets and then have a running total balance at the bottom on the main screen of all the budgets combined. I recommend this to all my friends, family and anyone looking for a simple but incredibly helpful budget tracking app. ESPECIALLY if you prefer to use cash. If there’s one improvement I could suggest, it would be maybe having an option to add a note for each income and expense; so that I can add and read the details about each transaction or upcoming expense.

Great but needs improvement. It would be good if you could hide "paid" expenses from view, and also if you could see your expenses on a calendar / diary format rather than just a list. Also after you put in the date of a new item if it could move automatically instead of having to manually sort items into date order.

Excellent in its limits. This app lets you do everything manually. It doesn't get balances from the bank, doesn't perform intricate calculations or projections. It's fantastic!! I live paycheque to paycheque. I'd prefer it if I didn't, but that is my reality. This app lets me manipulate my income in case I'm not getting a full weeks pay, add and remove expenses in case bills are going to have to remain unpaid for the next 2 weeks, etc, you get the idea. I tried a couple of other apps with more bells and whistles before this one, and they just wouldn't let me manipulate the numbers and make all the movements that I wanted, without it affecting balances or future transactions. They were a PITA. I am extremely happy with this app and highly recommend it.

Perfectly simple. Absolute winner for simplicity but downfall is that it can’t be shared with /updated by others (e.g my husband) without sharing one single Dropbox account. Would definitely pay for this as a premiums feature if it meant not having to use the one Dropbox account. Wunderlist does an incredible job of multiple user access and usability to access lists. Would love to see Fudget using something similar and more stream lined.

Love it. Love this app. I have been using it for 3 years and I adore it. The only thing I would change is possibly having a way to quick add common expenses rather than manually adding everything but it makes me think about it more entering manually so I guess that’s something. I recommend it to everyone I know.

Great cash flow tracker. Highly recommend for tracking simple cash flow- like sticking to a budget on your credit card from pay to pay. Means I can know when I’ve reached my budget limit rather than my credit limit, and keep cash in reserve. Easy to use, intuitive interface.

Does what it says on the box. Easy to use, worthwhile upgrading to the paid version (super affordable anyway). Only suggestion would be for the option to have certain costs auto accumulate under a single header, while maintaining the detail of each entry (e.g. each grocery spend add up under a single Groceries header, but when selecting the header, seeing the cost and date details of each individual groceries entry).

Awesome!. I have actually been searching for years for an app that could replace the excel spreadsheet I use to track my spending and plan ahead. I’ve never been able to use any of the other budget/money tracker apps because they are all so minutely detailed, and I only wanted something to be able to forecast each coming pay and expenses. Not to have to track every time I buy a coffee. This app is perfect for me, so easy to use, I can set it up exactly as I like it and I love the star function where you can bring across your regular expenses without having to retype them into the next pays budget (well that’s how I’ve set mine up anyway, a new budget for each coming fortnightly pay). I very quickly paid for the Pro version, very cheap and totally worth it. Thank you Danny!!! :)

It’s really great app and highly recommended. But,. This app is really great and convenient. I can manage and control both my expenses and incomes easily. But if you could add a feature where you can move the budget columns that would be amazing. Because it’s not really convenient when you forget to add a budget and you have to delete the whole expenses and incomes in it, then redo it again to add the forgotten budget columns.

I love this app!. Does everything I want it to do, especially now that the balance of all budget categories appears automatically. I especially love that I can have many categories, unlike most similar apps I found. Well worth paying to upgrade to save data to drop box. Only improvement would be if we could run it on 2 mobile devices without having to save to drop box on one, and then restore on the other. But that’s my only suggestion for improvement at this point. I am saving so much time and my margin of error is far less by having all the info on my phone to update when purchases or payments are made.

Its good... wish you had more features. I really wish you could delay and Expanse for the next Budget. 🤔 like being able to transfer a few expanses from one budget to another... instead of copy pasting the text and the amount. I use the app to estimate my Main and Parallel budgets and sometimes I need to transfer some expanses in-between to calculate an “Average” depending on “payment arrivals”. As a Self-Employed it’s never easy to predict the exact date of “Payment arrival” so quiet often I need to shuffle budgets or postpone pay-outs accordingly. The app is great, but I really wish this feature was available. :)

Great app needing some bug fixes. I love this app and have used it for about a year now, one of the only ones you have complete control over and can plan your budget your way, I even upgraded to the pro version. Only thing is when you add or change a lot of incomes/expenses and later come back into the app it has glitched and undone a lot of work and deleted some expense/incomes. Would like for that to be fixed as it is very frustrating when using this on your phone and it’s not easy to set up a whole years budget. Thanks!

Simple and the best!!. I have seen about 15 budget apps that in no way have helped me keep track of spendings. This app is brilliantly simple and lets me see the running tally of what I get paid plus my bills out, Exactly what I was looking for!! Well done, perfect app

Best free budgeting app I’ve tried. A while back I went through a huge phase of trying to reorganise my finances and pay more attention to what I was spending, and I think I tried every free app available. Months later, this is now the one I had settled on. As a casual worker who is paid different amounts pay check to pay check, this app is great as most others I found only give you the option to enter a set fortnightly or monthly income. With Fudget you can easily log each individual pay check as you get them. It also allows you to log upcoming expenses, and then mark them as paid later on at which point the value is deducted from your balance, which is really useful. It has a slight learning curve, but it comes with a helpful tutorial that you can revisit and a very self-intuitive design. Points for improvement: perhaps a line graph of balance against time? That would be a helpful way to track trends of spending and saving. Also, being able to label an expense separate from categorising it for the pie chart would be handy. Thanks for making a wonderful app 😊

Great for home. Hi i have been using Fudget at home for my family household fortnightly budgeting I have found the program to be very easy to use and a valuable tool in organising my finances to run my house hold budget I am now expanding in creating budgets for each meal that i make This tool is a must for managing and organising my finances

So helpful!. I’ve used Fudget for a couple of years to track my monthly expenses, it’s great to be able to have it with me and not stuck on a spreadsheet on my laptop. Improvement suggestions would be the ability to duplicate a budget, this would save time and avoid missing something. 👍🏼 thanks!

Best budgeting app. Love this app, best budgeting app I've found, downloaded so many but this one is the only one with great features for free and the premium features are a once off price rather than subscription like most others. Made it so much easier to visualise my finances and keep on track of bills

Worth it. I’ve used this app for about a week now. And its so much easier to use, i was using excel spreadsheet to do my budgeting and that was hard as i had to do math myself.. this does it all. I do wish there was a notes section at the bottom of each budget you put in. To remind yourself of things that need to be paid by or stuff needing to be done on that pay day. Other than that 5 stars

Phenomenal. I LOVE this budgeting app so much. It’s very simple to use and you can get a serious budget going in minutes. The ability to show the credits and debits separately is extremely useful and means that I no longer have to painstakingly add them up. The features are remarkable and they are really useful for organising and checking up entries. I’ve told my family about it and now they’re using it too. The clean, minimal design is great and I like that I can make several different budgets at once with no issues. Can’t recommend this app enough!

Dan, I like your smiling face and this app. It’s pretty good

Easy to use. Love this app. I just started using it and I’m really enjoying it because it is helping me to know how much money I spend monthly and how much I could save. So far so good.

Great. So far so good

Love Fudget!. Easy to use, simple, effective!

Great app!. Made my life so much easier and faster. Thank you Danny 😀

Great app. The app helps Me keep track of my spendings! Love it so easy to use. Thanks

Best application for daily expense management. I have tried a lot of applications but among all found this helpful to manage my daily expenses. Thank you.

Good App. Just started using. So far, so good. Does what it is supposed to do

No frill budgeting app. Was searching around for a free budgeting tool that did not connect with bank accounts and this app was it. It’s extremely user friendly and if you’re a visual learner like me, the graph feature helps a lot. Constructive Criticism: I wish there was a way to subdivide items within your budget. For example, if I were to put “expenses” as an expense, I wish I could further divide that into several subitems but in the graph it would all still show as “expenses”.

Simple to Use - I just wanted something uncomplicated.. This is it!

Great app!. Love the simple design

Loved it!. Fudget has helped me successfully budget and gives me the motivation to do so! No issues with the app at all!

Amazing. I love this app….keeps all my finances in order n I can keep a better budget this way

Amazing. The best one!

Best budgeting app. Just started with apps and i love it very organized

Very handy. Very useful app, thank you very much

I like it.. Simple. Easy to use.

I’ve been looking for this. I’ve been searching for a simple budget tool that I can order by date and see a running total

Practical and user friendly!. Easy to use and freedom to create sections, is appreciated!

Simple to understand and use. I use it to track hours of work, not just income or expenses, which is helpful for me. Some new features would be fun, but the app as it is is already very helpful - thank you developer!

Clean, Easy to use, No annoying limitations.. Everything I needed for a proper budget planner, good stuff. Fudget is the right way to go

Awesome. I use it regularly

Amazing app. Thank you. It has made my life easier.

I love it!!!!!. I’ve had it a few years and it’s stood the test of time! Very helpful! ( even better then Dave Ramsey budget app )

Easy to use & free money budgeting app. I was looking for a free & simple money tracking app and this is it! I also didn’t want an app that allowed it to integrate to my actual banking apps. I feel like there’s a grey area for privacy data or info sharing that I’m not comfortable with…The layout is basic but that’s a good thing. All the features are there - income and expenses. You can star to duplicate and show a running balance. I appreciate the simplicity of this and the act of inputting my expenses make me feel like I’m consciously understanding where my money is going, ya know? Thanks Danny!

Perfect. This is just what I was looking for!

Best budget app easy to use. Been using this app for many years and i live it. Super easy to use and understand Thank you for creating this

Love it!. Great and user friendly!!!

Fudget faithful. I have been using the Fudget app for 4 years - easy to use and helpful to budget for upcoming expenses as well as make a clear savings plan

Great way to track spending. Most budget apps I find are just ridiculous. For one, a subscription fee goes against the very principle of budgeting. For two the seemed to thrive on making you split up all your purchases and force you into selecting from lists to add things, which just takes too long and doesn't help things. I use this app by maintaining long term budgets, kinda like the envelope system and then putting all my spending into a monthly list that tracks everything outside of monthly recurring payments, then at then end of the month I just add that to the monthly list and I didn't have to load my whole budget every time I added something. Quick and easy. I haven't found any deficiencies or adding I would like except family syncing but I just get my wife to text me what she spends which is easier for her and keeps things simple anyways. It's all good, thanks to the developer and definitely thanks for not making it a subscription for the only reason of getting people to pay to save money.

Great budgeting app!. Just started running some numbers into the app and the simplicity of it makes it great. Took me awhile to find the “show running balance” feature. Hope you will set that to on by default in the next update.

Really helps. I love it it really helps me

Great app. I really like this app. I wonder if there is a way to have your income/expenses sorted by date automatically, rather than manually. That’s really the only change I would make, and even that’s not a dealbreaker :)

Simple yet effective. I have tried many many sites and apps for budgeting yet I have stumbled upon this one and I am quite thrilled to be able to say that this app does the job very well!!!!

Fudget Debt Free. Easy To Use Focus Daily Spend Under My Means Debt Free Daily

Fantastic. I feel like this app is a life savor for me. It has helped us financially to keep organized and make sure everything is paid. You have done a fantastic job with this app. Thanks

Pretty Good!. Decent tool for quick calculations, easy to use, and I like that it can provide you a chart with percentages of where your money is going.

Love it. Super simple interface. Nothing complicated or over the top. Works perfectly. I recommend to everyone I speak to.

Fudget. I love this App!

Great. Great

Great app. Easy to use

I’ve used this ap for years. I also use it for my Christmas list and budget every year.

Super facile. Très facile pour suivre dépense quotidienne

Parfait pour faire son budget. Hn

So simple and easy. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Great app!. I’ve been using the free version of this app for years now. It’s been amazingly helpful! It’s easy to use, helps me keep track of my income and spending, shows me the balance that’s left and all that good stuff. I finally decided to pay and get all the features, and the price is really reasonable. And it’s only a one time fee! Now I can personalize it even more and use the extra features that I didn’t have with the free version. I highly recommend this app, especially if you’re like me and terrible with spending, or severely financially unstable. I’ve literally gone from having multiple loans, down to none! Thanks Danny for creating this wonderful app!!

Been using for years. I do love this app. I have been using for years. It helps keep me on track. I’ve used it to budget vacations and well as monthly budget. I do wish there was a few other features. I have starred some items and would like to do more but I can’t figure out how to start over without deleting everything.

Great App. Helps me to keep track of my monthly budget! Love this app

Love this app. I love Fudget because it allows me to see how much I am spending each month .

Keeps me on track. It’s easy to track transactions, create a budget and keep on track. I like the simple interface. Great app.

I Was Surprised. I have been looking for an app that would do what I have had to manually do to organize my budget the last few years. I was surprised that I found one recently! This app is what I’ve been looking for! I love that I can plan out my future expenses for my future paychecks and then mark the expenses off like a checklist AND see the predicted remaining total, as well as the actual remaining total!! I made a crazy google excel spreadsheet to try to do this but had a hard time being exact because it wasn’t easy to open and edit on my phone on the go. But now I can do all of that with this app and I LOVE it. I’ve only been using it for a few days but so far I am happy!

Unnoticeable. I didn’t realize I used the app so much until recently. For some reason I always resorted to writing everything down but would eventually lose the paper I wrote on (all progress down the drain.) So I was telling someone about my new found knowledge of budgeting and investing & caught myself suggesting this app. Boom! Now I’m here. The simplicity of it just makes it so convenient. Go Pro people ! You won’t regret it. It’s only 3.99$ and it adds a few extra functions that can save you time from switching between apps. Staying on the same app for everything equals more productivity!

Review. I’m young and trying to live life to the fullest while doing so I’m not always paying attention to how much money I use. Soooo I randomly decided to start a budget, a monthly count. I have tried several different apps most of them do monthly which I didn’t mean then others only do weekly which I also didn’t mean. This app allows me to do a biweekly budgets which is amazing for me! I am also a visual person, being able to see how everything is laid out helps me so much! Very easy to set up whether you take the walk-through or even if you just skip the walk-through it provides you. I am very thank I looked through and found this app! So much easier and reliable

Great app for keeping you on budget!. I've never been good at sticking to a budget but this app really helps. I can go in and create budgets for upcoming paychecks and what I need to pay. I used to write out a budget but due to inconvenience, I didn't check it often. I was always forgetting about some bill that hadn't posted to my account and got myself in trouble a lot by overspending and getting hit with fees. This is super easy to open and check. This way I can see everything I planned to pay and compare it to my bank app to see if everything went through. Also if I need to modify something, I can do so easily.

Easiest, cleanest budgeting tool ever. And with pro you can back it up to Dropbox and no ads. Totally worth it plus Danny is responsive to any issues or features. You can easily copy over month to month items and edit as needed. Just star items you want in every budget. It’s like the envelope system but digital. Really loving the clean and simple interface. I tried Mint, NerdWallet, and a few others that all want to link to your accounts and while it does give you a picture of your transactions it isn’t really helpful to understanding your budget at least from my experience.

BEST BUDGETING APP. I've been in the financial sector crunching numbers most of my life, and I was leery of using an app to help me. I downloaded 4, but 2 wanted me to pay for use. Between the 2 left, one gave me charts which were interesting but not exactly helpful. Fudget allowed me to stream-line my information into a simple assets and debits ledger, which I constantly update easily to know EXACTLY what my finances are! IT IS AMAZING! I left a small tip as a token of appreciation for the developer. He has changed my life, and I am deeply forever grateful. TRY THIS TODAY, and I promise, you can get a better control on your spending and create room for savings just like me! :)

I love it. I’ve been using Fudget for almost a year and it’s the best budget app I’ve tried and I’ve tried a lot. Others are either too cluttered, too expensive, features that I don’t need or want. All I needed was a simple budget app that let me see a running balance, can do multiple budgets with no limits, add dates when items are due, a simple interface and not crazy expensive. I paid for my upgrade and it was a one time payment of $5 and everything was unlocked. I didn’t have to link my debit card or bank. It’s just simple and I love it. Thanks for making this app because it’s just perfect.

Best Budgeting App. I wanted a budget app that will allow me to see my budget per pay period. I was able to simply set this up and keep track of it. Once I need to make a change, I can just go to the app on my phone and make the adjustments and then go about my business. I didn’t need anything complicated, just a simple budget I can keep up with. It will also allow you to keep up with due dates for bills. I also wanted to know what I was spending and how much money I had left after adding bills. It has helped me keep track and is helping me budget to get out of debt. I really appreciate the creator for this wonderful tool. I highly recommend.

Intuitive & no-frills!. This works better for me than apps that try to automate everything and end up making the user experience more difficult. The only thing missing for me is the ability to partially mark an expense as paid—I have a monthly transit expense of $25, for example, but I don’t spend that money all at once, and I wish I could use Fudget to keep an eye on how close I am to meeting my limit. This may be something I just haven’t figured out yet, but I would really love that feature in a future update if it’s truly not possible!

Best App for quick overview. This app is so user friendly and was exactly what I was looking for. I just wanted something super simple to track my expenses vs income. I can label each expense or income what I want it to be. Star items such as reoccurring bills to always show up on each list. I make my lists per month and it really helps to show me where I am overspending. No extras in this app like many others that make things much more complex to look at. No tying bank accounts which I am not a fan of. Just very straightforward. Plain and simple. Thank you!

Perfect for my needs. Great app for what I need. I don’t need to be reminded to pay bills; I generally don’t forget. This app, however, helps me track of my budget (I use it on a weekly basis since I get paid weekly). I see exactly where I overspend already. This pie chart is excellent for those who need that extra visual. With this app, I definitely can stop overspending. It also helps me to see my budget in real time (when I pay a bill, I swipe, the amount is calculated and taken from the amount I have set as my check (if it doesn’t make sense, try it; hopefully it will then)!

Great app. I love having this app on my phone, because I can have my budget with me at all times. I have found this the easiest way to keep track of my expenses and income. I have tried spreadsheets, cards, ledger books, other apps that are for budget and this is by far the best one yet. It’s not that complicated but I still have a few things to work out and I am sure over the next few weeks I will understand everything about it. Other apps have a lot of functionality but it’s the simplicity of this one that makes me want to use it. Great app you won’t go wrong downloading it and using it.

Perfect!. I. Love. This. App!!! It budgets information in the exact way that I think. It’s simple. And it allows me to play with the numbers in real time to see my bottom line. So if I see an item I want to purchase for example - and I add it into the “expense” place where I keep my misc expenses, the app calculates for me automatically if I can or cannot afford it. The “show date” and “running balance” options are amazing and now I have a place where I can budget right down to the penny! So if you need an app that will allow you to make your budget for the month and compare it against your income on a simple, easy to read interface? This is it!

Possible Security Risk-Apple says "expected behavior". This App, without being prompted to do so, automatically pasted a note from my clipboard upon opening the Fudget App. This is a potential security risk in my opinion, as some people might have sensitive information that they copied and pasted onto one app, where Fudget is accessing without permission and pasting that info for an unknown reason to me. Passwords, location, and other information could be being accessed unknown to users of the app and pasted to an unknown location within fudgets servers. When I told Apple of my concerns they responded this was an "expected behavior" and that "I should contact the developer". Hopefully the developer can respond to me as to why it's app is pasting information from my clipboard without permission and perhaps Apple can explain why they are knowingly allowing them to do so.

Amazing organizer!. I’ve been using Fudget for almost a year now and I honestly don’t know what I would do without it. I use it for monthly finances, my savings and what’s up next in the world of my banking needs. It helps me keep track of spending and helped me twice already dispute charges to my account which I probably wouldn’t have even noticed without it. This app is truly a life saver ... and money saver 😏😉. I have a spreadsheet for finances on my computer as well but having something on my phone when I’m on the go is super helpful!! If I could give it 10 stars, I would! ✨

Close but no cigar; it’s a good app for 1 person. It’s as if every app finds the one option to make itself less than user friendly. I can’t share our household budget with my wife without saving to Dropbox. Which means every time a change occurs one of us has to make the change. Save it to another app, then the other spouse downloads it from that app on their phone, and then uploads it to Fudget. Oops…made a mistake?!?! Do it again. Is it that hard to add access across multiple devices with a username/password? To add a shared account. This would have worked perfect for us…except the Dropbox nuisance is less efficient than what we are doing now.

One of the best manual budgets I’ve seen. I love this app, I recommend it to almost everyone I know that has issues either with budgeting or sticking to a budget. Or even some who just needs to keep an eye on how much they are spending, I’ve had this app for a minimum of 3 years; I’ve bought the pro version and even went and bought another one for desktop. The only issues I’m having with it is that the budget doesn’t not stay at the top of the screen if the developers want to reach out I can screen shot the issues and send them to you. I would love to see this app continue to flourish!

Life saver. I have tried so many budgeting free and paid apps. None of them provided what I needed for a biweekly budget that was easy to understand and maneuver. They became way too complicated and confusing so I went back to my old fashioned spreadsheet. I just downloaded this app yesterday and less than 24 hours later, I’ve already got my biweekly budget done for the rest of 2022. It is simple to use and update as needed and I’m already set up on my phone and iPad —it syncs very easily between the two. I’m so excited to finally be done with my spreadsheet and will be deleting that for good to use this app moving forward. Thank you Danny!!!

Worth it.... So I downloaded this app after seeing all the positive reviews. Everything that people have said about this app is true. It's so easy to input info and keep up with your finances. However, I did the upgrade so that I can also use it with my Dropbox. Well for some reason it isn't communicating with my Dropbox. No matter where I'm at, it will tell me to "please check the internet and try again" and it cannot save or restore (for this I'm giving 4 stars until I find out where the glitch is). Update: Daniel responded to my e-mail quickly. An app can’t get any better than that. 5 stars and he gave me a suggested remedy for my Dropbox issue.

Perfect!. I was looking for the perfect budget app for me and none seemed to work, I love the fact that I can add expenses and different streams of incomes not just one bulk income, that makes it easy to track what money I’m suppose to collect easier. I love the fact that you can have different lists as well, so I can pre-plan for a specific month two months in advance, so I can say okay in September I’m gonna spend big so let’s chill in October, the only downfall i would say is I wish you could copy a lists, so I could just copy and edit instead of re-entering info but all in all it works amazing :)

Manage your shekels with ease!. Ok, first, very tricky, Danny! I see you using that adorable child of yours to sneak in reviews. Kudos to you for creating this great App. Its ease of use, simple interface, and efficient design enable the lowly commoner such as myself an easy option for money management. I am also enjoying my ability to save as I round up each purchase I make so that the change adds up in my account. I have used other apps but there is way too much going on for me to use it with ease as a navigate through a busy day. Simplicity, a clean aesthetic appeal and efficiency for the win!

Simple and Pefect. This is exactly what I have been searching for. All of the budget app were too complicated for me, I was new to learning about money management and I also don’t have a lot of it. I don’t need a savings, put aside this much, how much can I spend on fun this week, etc. Fun is not currently a budget for me and I just need to know how much money I have currently. I also am weary of connecting my bank account, and I hate making accounts just to try something. I didn’t have to do any of that and I was sold. If you are looking for something simple and don’t have a financial plan, this is the one. Thank you devs for creating this.

Just what I was looking for. I was looking for something that was simple and I didn’t feel like it was going to be able to access my secure information. I would love to find a graph or charts that would compare to some statistics on how much is spent for each category . If there’s a way to add something like that . But I love it, I don’t have to delete a bunch of presets that I don’t use. I have made a budget for my credit cards (which are going the wrong direction) and a budget for the other bills ,we’ll see if we can get more money into the credit card budget as the year goes on

Simple but useful. I’ve been using the app for about 6 months and I like it. I was looking for a budgeting app that would allow me to budget per paycheck rather than month because the reality seldom lines up with what I put on paper in a monthly budget. Some areas of improvement might be a savings function with a running total. Also maybe a running total per item from budget to budget to view amount paid over time. I am manually tracking the remaining balances and savings accounts totals in the description. If not too complicated an automated function would be a great feature I would be willing to upgrade for.

Fudget budgeting app. I have the free version. It’s great for keeping tabs on my funds. I like the line items. They are easy to use and simple to set up. I wish there was a way to duplicate the budgets from month to month though. Or have a “repeat” function for the expenses and income lines so they go from one month to the next. This may be available in the paid version. I especially like that I DON’T have to link any of my accounts or have to pull my credit report to use the app. Just download and start using. Simple and clean interface. The initial tutorial walk-thru is a nice touch. Overall, great app for use on the phone.

Great Basic App. This app is perfect for keeping a running ledger, a step up from old-school written one. I’ve been using it all year and have saved all of my budgets each month to date in order to see my spending through the year. I can make multiple separate individualized budgets, add expenses and earnings for each budget. It shows what is left over after you’ve budgeted, how much you’ve spent/paid, and how much you earned in total. It’s really easy to use. The only thing I wish it did was create subgroups within each budget and graph spending. I’d love to see what percentage of my spending is in different categories so that I might better balance and change my budget. Overall very pleased with this app!

Easy. Super easy to use! My only suggestions (and maybe it does it but I don’t know how to utilize it) would be to cross over between my devices. I use my iPad at home but my phone when out and like to enter purchases right away. As I know it to be, I have to come home and re-enter the info on the iPad. Also if I could sort by date. Sometimes I just want to review if I entered something and I have to scroll all the way down. Maybe I'm missing something? Maybe I need to pay to get that option? Nevertheless I find this VERY helpful. But other than that it is a GREAT app. Thanks!

EASY, SIMPLE, EFFICIENT. This app isn’t over complicated or over saturated you simply add and subtract all the money you make and all the money you spend on bills. The app give you an exact dollar amount you’ll have to spend after bills or an estimated guess on how much funds you’ll have after paying your monthly dues if you don’t have exact numbers. This is the first and only app I need for budgeting and controlling my spending habits so that my family and I are comfortable. Not living paycheck to paycheck due to over spending and not monitoring money. Download this app, you won’t regret it.

Replaced a Custom Excel Sheet I Was Using. I literally had made my own Excel sheets to do this very thing, but this was a bit more cumbersome to manage on a mobile device so I started searching around and this is app is basically what I was doing on my own. I like to break down my budgets with running totals so that I can see things on a week-by-week basis. This app has running totals and allows me to prefill in certain regular expenses for the whole month. It’s not the prettiest app (believe it or not, but my Excel sheet is prettier than this), but it gets the job done. What it needs though is the ability to add notes, perhaps a calendar view, and definitely some syncing options other than Dropbox, such as Box, Drive or iCloud

This app is better than the Mint app and here’s why. After using Mint for over a month, my brother found this app and recommended Fudget to me to track my spendings in a college semester. I’ve been using Fudget for 3 weeks and it’s already better than Mint! In Fudget, everything is manual and no accounts have to be linked to track finances and usually the amounts are inaccurate because some of the bills I pay per month are split and I only add my portion of the payment. You can also see the total balance left after setting up the income and expenses of a budget and also cross out which ones are paid (which also has an option to see the total amount you have paid in a budget so far!). Plus, there’s an option to set up multiple budgets! However, there’s some downsides to Fudget: there’s no option to set up a total for multiple budgets just like on a single budget, or have the number pad keyboard show up instead of the QUERTY keyboard when putting an amount. Overall, this app is great to use for budgeting and I strongly recommend it.

Easy money tracker. Awesome app! This was exactly what I was looking for. So simple and easy to use. I wanted just a basic, easy tracking system and this was it. I’m more than happy with it. I am thrilled with this app. It’s absolutely perfect for my needs. If you want an app that is simple and easy to use to keep track of your spending, this is it. Right after I make a purchase, I just plug in the expense and it automatically tells me what I have left to spend. So many money trackers are complicated. This app is going to help me so much with keeping in my budget. Thank you to the developers!

Digital check book. This app is in essence a digital check book. That’s exactly what I was looking for to keep me from over spending on things! I really like the tools that come built into the app like the calculator and the pie chart! Good things to have as I am a visual learner and logic appeals to me. I am not a high tech person though, more mecanic and less engineer I guess. There are a few nice things for pro users like the background color being changeable the swipe to delete feature and sorting ability. I used the free version over a year before buying if that tells you how good and useful the basics are.

Simple is best. Thank you Danny for creating a budget tool that is simple in design for budget viewing and planning. The ease of creating new budgets (monthly) was amazing and fast. Expenses and income are easily entered. And, a running balance offering ability to see what was paid vs. what’s available is truly helpful for purchasing decisions. This is a simple as using a check register without the balancing headaches! And, as there are no non-basic math formulas built into the budget system, as with other apps, you need not worry about over or under projections having a negative impact on your budget goals. Thank you again, sir!

Beyond helpful for me!. I’m a 17 year old kid. I go to school and didn’t know anything about budgeting. I have had a job for awhile now. And I recently got a new phone that I needed to pay for myself. And wasn’t sure on how I would be able to juggle a phone payment and saving up for a car and just other expenses for me. So I looked for a budgeting app to help me with just that. And I set up everything I needed and how much I earned and took off every expense. It was very helpful in just showing me how much I would have at the end of the month to put away. Would highly recommend for anyone!

Great budget app!. I love that this budget app isn’t like others where you have to connect your bank account to it. It’s very simple and easy to use. I like to have several budgets in mine: one for all monthly bills, one for each month’s budget, one for each debt I have to pay, and one for savings. It’s very handy to visualize where you’re at financially. I do hope the developer adds some features such as categories of expenses that are color coded and pie charts to see where money is being spent. Thanks for the wonderfully simple budgeting app!

Easy to use. App is very simple and easy to use. Does not have all the bells and whistles that most other budget apps do but I like this better. The other apps get a little too confusing and hard to navigate at times and when it comes to my budget I prefer to just take a moment list everything out and be able to mark it off when done. This app does exactly that, only takes a minute to keep up with and not frustrating in the least. I also like that it shows you me balance after al expenses listed are paid, as well as, showing you how much you pay out of your income. Would recommend.

Amazing & Simple - exactly what I needed. I absolutely love this app!!! I needed a way to track a running tally of my expenses, that’s all. I didn’t need a complicated budget app with tips and funds and extra features I never use. I just want to know throughout the month, as I get paid twice a month, how does my balance in my account change so I can be prepared. If you are having trouble starting your budget because you feel like you’re living pay check to pay check and you want a current running total next to each expense on the date it occurs, this is the app for you!!!

Perfect. This app is literally what I was looking for. I didn’t want anything fancy that required too much information regarding my budget plans and expenses. I needed something that would let me list my budget and what I need to pay and such and this is it! As simple as setting up a budget or an income and just listing your bills, savings or any other expense and just cross them out as you pay. You are the boss of the list, you get to divide your lists by whatever you want. I make a list for every single week and just name them based on the month and dates for the whole week. I truly love this and have recommended it to others.

Keep track of your money, not the other way around. i’m not a huge fan and Dave Ramsey but I do understand what he means when he says “ there’s a certain pain that comes when paying with cash that doesn’t come when you’re paying with card”. a lot of these other apps make it so it hooks up to your bank and automatically tracks your spending. So you can spend all day and at the end be completely caught off guard by how much you actually spent. This app makes it so when you spend something you have to mentally remember to go into the app and track it. And every time you go into the app you see what your monthly spending is.

Personal Budget Simplified. Fantastic app! I love that I can see exactly where I am wasting money and where I can save money. I have only used it for two days and really enjoy how simple it is to make real time adjustments. My favorite feature is the ability to creat multiple budgets for each month or pay day. It’s so simplified! Makes creating a budget much easier and allows the user to discipline themselves to stick to their limits. No need to open your bank app and see a total balance, just open the Fudget app instead and see your “actual balance” of what you can spend of the “available balance”. Love, love, love!! Thanks Danny!!!!!

Great App. Great app. Very useful for people who wish to manually input their budget. I add a budget for every pay cycle (i.e. June budget, July budget, etc.) and within it I add expenses and income. Excellent concept! Only 4 stars because budgets are generally standard (i.e. mortgage, phone, utilities) yet there’s no option to copy re-occurring expenses from every budget created. Please consider a copy feature to transfer those common expenses from budget to budget then definitely 5 stars. ** Note: upgraded to 5 stars because developer was super responsive and identified my complaint as an “operator issue.” Would recommend to anyone who wants to to track their month to month finances regardless of budget.

Simple and effective - great for envelope systems!. We use an accounting program for our in-depth planning and spending tracking but I needed something simple and mobile to track a few budget “envelopes” to stay on top of my every day spending. This has been super easy, user friendly, and perfectly effective! We even are using it with our kids while on vacation for their spending money they have saved up. This is the perfect option for the envelope system of budgets if you aren’t comfortable carrying a bunch of cash around! Love this app - and as a bonus - the name makes me crack up every time I see it! Thank you developers! Keep up the awesome work!

Best Budget program on the App Store. This app is outstanding. It is easy to use, it is very intuitive so you don’t spend a lot of time making and correcting mistakes. The “pro” version is very affordable and it is worth every penny! I have tried so many budget programs that I had given up and gone back to Excel. This one is great because you can budget without connecting to your bank, it is a quick process to click off the expenses as you pay them and the charts are easy to read and makes it very obvious where your money is going. Thank you Danny!

Perfect for those love to budget!. I can make many different budgets...models if you will...depending on what is going on. Right now I have one budget that includes my arrears, and I have one that doesn’t. I get the option to make as many budgets as I want. I’m very OCD and don’t like surprises. I like being able to make more than one budget and see what the outcome is. This allows me to play around with my budget and foresee what I can expect to have left over. The app itself is super easy to learn and understand. Great idea for an app. I am in debt right now, and this app has helped me get a grip on my finances.

Absolutely helpful— such a vital tool to have.. My boyfriend and I are 19, and have been stressing and even intimidated by the idea creating a budget plan before entering the ‘real world’ as they call it... all adults around us are financially miserable and stressed all the time, we weren’t sure how we were going to do it. But seeing the actual numbers beforehand in such a customized, organized way really does take a huge weight off of our shoulders, this way we can see practical visualizations of our financial balance before making any important financial decisions. This is going to help so much in rationalizing how and when we spend our money. It doesn’t stop at the basic ‘month-to-month budget’ which is the mainstream strategy that adults are teaching teenagers, but this app ALSO allows you to create YOUR OWN bi weekly, or even weekly, or if you wanted to go the extra mile- if you have time like that- a daily budget lol! You can really make it your own. The point is, you can do all of those with this app, and I’m so so so grateful that it exists.

Simple & to the point budget. It’s a really simple and to the point budget! I like that you can add a star to a reoccurring payment and it transfers over to your next budget month. On the bottom you can keep tabs to see how much of your income is left after your payments have been made and how much money went out. You can also see a pie graph, which helps to get a snap shot on where the majority of your money is going. I couldn’t have asked for a better app. Not to mention, adds are not a problem because I hardly see any and they are not in the way. I highly recommend!!!

Amazing If You’re Looking For A Simple, Not Too Complex Budget. I tried other budget apps but they seem like they try too hard to do everything. For instance, Mint: I could understand people who enjoy it but for me, I was just looking for a simple budget to record my earnings and what I spend while Mint was trying to make me make three separate recurring car payments that to me just seemed like way too much. This app really just helps make it plain and simple for you if that’s what you’re looking for and for someone like me who was looking for this, it’s everything I basically wanted.

Basic = Best. I really didn’t want to use one of those apps where you plug in your bank accounts, raise your digital threat surface (more services accessing my accounts = more risk to my accounts), and unsuccessfully apply analytics to auto-detect your “budget.” I’m sure with fine tuning you could make some of them work decent, but what I want was a good ol’ fashioned experience where I could plug in salary and expenses and see what I have left. This app gives me that experience. This is how I prefer to budget. Yes, it’s manual, but budgeting is something I prefer strict personal control over, as it helps me plan and keep things on track. I’m thankful to have come across this on the App Store.

Best budget tool. I’ve used a lot of budget tools and they all try to do too much - link accounts, set up goals, categorize expenses, etc. i always go back to my spreadsheet because I just want a straightforward budget. I had to get rid of my spreadsheet recently and I have started using Fudget. Didn’t take long to get used to it and I am really enjoying it after a short learning curve. Recommend this app to anyone who needs a straightforward budget with enough bells & whistles without all that other stuff that just gets in the way.

Simple, easy, flexible ... fun, even. The best part of Fudget is that it lets you create budgets that aren’t tied to specific time spans. Each budget is literally just a list of items associated with dollar values. At the end is a toggle to switch between a few different useful total calculations. It’s simple, easy, and super flexible. I love that I’m not forced to think of budgets in terms of a specific time frame like a month, week, whatever. I just put my numbers in and go. It actually even sort of makes budgeting ... fun. I liked it so much I paid for the Pro version. Developers got to get paid right?
