Don’t know how I lived without this. I can’t believe how helpful and easy to use this app is. Decided last minute to drive into NYC for the weekend, and downloaded this app on the way there. I was able to find a spot using the map feature, and safely parked my car on the street all day Saturday and Sunday without fear of a ticket. Just keep in mind that in NYC, you can’t park within 15’ of a fire hydrant (either side).

BATTERY DRAINER!!!. I downloaded this app because I was going to New York. I reserved a parking and that worked well and that’s why it got 2 stars from me…. Unfortunately this thing killed my battery within MINUTES!! I was going to an event and was not able to take pictures or videos because of this. I thought something was wrong with my phone but after I got home I took a look at what apps my battery use had gone into and this was the only app that was running at the time. This glitch is crucial, what if I hadn’t written down the address of where I parked? With a dead phone late at night… just not safe.

DOWNLOAD THIS. This is the BEST parking management app out there, not only because it’s the only one but because it has everything you need. - easy to mark your parking spot - they respond to app suggestions and feedback pretty immediately - you can add your parking permit information - it’s quick and has no bugs that I’ve found - app is polished and map information is accurate (only issue I’ve found is that the 1 block area where certain permits overlap doesn’t list the information for both permits, only one, but you can submit map feedback if you see that) - you can scope out parking costs (even compare different nearby garages) before going somewhere, and even set the time frame when you’re going to be there - I love that the map displays general parking info when you move over it (i.e., free parking, hour limits, parking costs, etc), which makes it easy to plan ahead (or determine whether or not it’s cheaper to just Lyft) when I’m going to an unfamiliar area. This has literally everything anyone needs to own a car and avoid tickets while living in a city. My only suggestions would be to streamline the settings/menu portion of the UI a little more and that sometimes the push notifications don’t work (though it’s so easy to just open the app and see when I need to leave, it’s not a huge deal). I also think it’d be cool if they added an iOS widget.

It’s Apple Maps for free parking. AMAZING.. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this app is absolutely incredible. I live in Los Angeles and parking can be as expensive as the event you’re going to... this app completely alleviated that. I have easily saved hundreds of dollars using this. It is one of my favorite apps I’ve ever found, cannot recommend it enough

I thought I finally found it!. ... but then, I used it. So, after reading reviews, mostly good, downloading, entering my email, finding the verification email, opening the app, and finally, opening the app, ALL THE ALTERNATE SIDE STREET PARKING STREETS ARE MARKED THE SAME... GREEN. So i wrote a snarky review, and got some good news from the developer (so now we are up to three stars). Here’s what we learned: • the ability to see alternate side parking dates is “hidden” under filters (I think). If I plug in a date I want to find parking, only green lines show where parking is available. So, if it’s Monday morning, and I want to find parking the whole day, this app is o.., but not very intuitive for finding street parking that’s not going to give me a ticket on a Monday. Do I keep the following comment: C’mon, you couldn’t use green for Monday/Thursday, and orange for Tuesday/Friday? Someone thought that I did all this work to see where there is some form of alternate side parking... vs. Pay For Street Parking? Recommendation: the default should be for today, at this time, using two different colors for the days parking is free. (Who plans on looking for Street the day in advance?) The default should show where parking is available right now, and filter should enable setting the time for later, or tomorrow, or some time in the future. If you update the app to do this, it would be a 5-star, and I’d even pay for it. Thanks for the quick response!

Real time. This app has saved me SO much money and cuts out the endless searching for where to park in super busy neighborhoods/ expensive garages around town. User is able to update parking signs and meter costs if it isn’t accurate. It also automatically saves your parking spot from where you last parked (in case of super busy days running around town, you can be quite forgetful). I was suggested this app from another user and am quite happy.

Started Working Again 😃. This app is great BUT recently the past few days this app has not been working in IOS 14… I don’t know what caused it to not work but now I cannot login to any account or even create a new one. Please fix! Updated: Happily to update that it’s back working again! Thankful to the support team helping.. I’d say maybe it was an IOS issue not related to the app.

Clean UI & The Data I Need. I used to use Best Parking religiously when traveling to any major city. It was OK - clunky, but effective. Recently, ParkWhiz bought them, and they pushed garages over street parking at all opportunities. I can parallel park, and street parking is cheap, so this bothered me a bit. Best Parking’a latest update removed metered parking data outright, and that was it for me. Enter Spot Angels: It replaces Best Parking 100%, and even captures alternate-side parking rules. The UI is clean - colors are used well and the app functions as you’d assume. Great work, and I’m so excited to finally use a well-designed app showing me the data I need. 👍🏻

Got a ticket. Don’t use. Yesterday, Wednesday, I walked outside to my car and to my surprise that was the ticket on the window. On Tuesday evening I park my car, and I forgot to check the alternate side, my mistake. When going back to double check I received a notification saying alternate side is Thursday. So I went back inside, my mistake again. The street I was on was not a small street where both sides are close together, it’s a wide street with 2 way traffic and much room to spare. This is the entire function of this feature on the app, the developer has told me this does not work in New York City or California, which is half or more it’s market. Basically app doesn’t work for what it was built to do. The app does ask for you to confirm your location, which I thought was just to confirm that you are at this area, not to confirm your exact coordinate location. If that’s the case, you don’t need this gps feature , as you have to check anyway.

Looks Very Cool But.... The reason for my two star rating is that the app wants a lot of tracking privileges — this is ok with my as long as I’m getting a service in return — however, in two cities that I frequent (Austin and Houston) the area served by the app is a very very small slice of downtown. Not that useful with current offering of spaces. However, I can definitely see how this app could be great based on the areas that are available. I decided to delete the app because the area served in Houston, the largest city in Texas is very small, especially when considering “downtown is practically everywhere inside the 610 loop. I don’t want to give away my location and motion data continuously when I’ll rarely be in the specific area to use this app.

Money Saving App!. For cities, parking tickets have become just another form of reliable revenue, a form of hidden taxation. Unable to budget themselves, they are constantly finding new ways to take your hard earned $$$ - state taxes, sales taxes, registration fees, you name it. I am glad that this application is around to at least alleviate some pain from that greed. This is a great app, and it can really save you from parking tickets. If you live or frequently park on a street that hasn't been mapped in the app, take a snapshot of the sign, and the turnaround speed for this to be added to the app is really impressive.

Great app, some room for improvement. This app works well, but the only complaint I have is not being able to invite others to view your car location. For anyone that shares a car when commuting ( think significant other)it would've very helpful if they could look up the location where the car was last parked.

Pointless. This old idea that you have launched will never work in a city like Hoboken. When a parking spot opens on a street it is filled within seconds. If you did your homework you would know this. So the thought that you can create a community based app that lets you know where open spots are is ridiculous, its fake news. Not to mention you would have to get 100% of all the residents who park and 100% of all the visitors using the app to make it accurate at all times. The moment a non app user unparks, the app users will never know. Complete waste of time and resources.

Kinda like self checkout…. Such a weird system. The information is “crowd sourced,” which means the people USING the app do the work, and the app takes zero responsibility for the information because it doesn’t come from them…. But the users are also supposed to pay the APP for the access to that information. Very strange. Like, come pay us but you also work for us. And also we are not responsible for ANY of this. Don’t blame us, blame your fellow users. But everyone keep paying us. For access to info we don’t bother to verify. What? And if you work hard enough for them, you can “earn” your few dollars a month back. If you’re going to charge people, hire employees to collect accurate information and pay them properly. If you aren’t going to do that, at least give people the option to deal with ads OR pay. It makes no sense.

Issues with Automatic. Having issues linking my Automatic Pro to SpotAngels. It links to my account but at the "Let's make sure you don't get parking tickets" screen, it tells me there was an error when I hit allow (even though the motion is enabled in the iphone setting screen). Regular account seems to work okay but I'd much prefer to have the Automatic functionality Update: The app works correctly with Automatic now and the support team was great about reaching out. Review score has been updated

Used to be amazing but now money hungry.. I used to recommend this app to everyone but now it doesn’t work for me anymore. Getting a parking reminder 30 minutes before is useless when you’re not home then. You have to pay to get a reminder any earlier now which is crazy. They claim it is because they give points for parking garage credit now but I have never even booked a garage through this app because it doesn’t have that many garages available. Useless now so don’t download unless you’re willing to pay for the great features they used to offer for free.

Get this if you have a car and live in a city. Saves me so much anxiety/headache/time/parking ticket money. In NYC where just about every other street has 3 different parking regulations, this app can tell you straight up whether you can be there for x hours or not, without you having to read each parking reg sign. Love you guys thank you for making this app ❤️❤️❤️

Bluetooth auto park unreliable, great data. Really good app with great data in NYC - is definitely a real help for ASP rules. The Bluetooth detection is unbearably unreliable though. Even when my car is playing music automatically when I turn it on and it picks up my phone, when I turn the car off at least 70% of the time the app doesn’t register me as parked if it is running in the background on my phone. It’s got worse over time, which is frankly weird. It probably the best thing about this app and it frequently doesn’t work.

Living in Queens- love this app for parking so far. I moved to Astoria Queens a few weeks ago and brought my car (which I don’t recommend). But this app has helped me a lot with finding spots, and checking regulations. It has made stressful situations much more bearable. I don’t use any of the fancy features, so I can’t comment on those.

Several failed notifications. This app failed to notify me on a few occasions that where I was parked was scheduled for street cleaning on Monday between 12-3pm in West Hollywood. Meanwhile it’s giving notice on other streets nearby but one of the most popular free unlimited street parking streets in West Hollywood, one of the very few, that doesn’t have meters and is otherwise unlimited, this app failed to give updates on that street, the street I park on every day. So I got a couple tickets when I first started using the app which was when I first started parking on that street I’m fairly disappointed, and I have two 78$ tickets

What happened to your database?. This update no longer shows the free or metered parking to the places I routinely go to. It just has question marks. It’s like they deleted their database of existing (and already known) parking in popular areas and want you to contribute from scratch. The app was already good before the update. Now it shows only paid garage parking.

Thought it was perfect until... It notifies me every time I park my car shortly after I park (a minute or two). I was at home and had been home for about 3 hours when it notified me about my parking location. I thought it was weird because I had parked hours ago. I opened the app to where it said my car was parked and had a mini heart attack. It said my car was parked in some random spot miles away from me. I parked my car about half a block away around the corner so I ran to where my car was thinking someone had stolen it. My car was there. Right where I left it. Don’t know why it’s telling me it’s parked miles away from my home but that’s pretty annoying.

Lifesaver!!. I never write app reviews but I have to this time because I'm so thankful for SpotAngels! Literally angels! I'm an anxious new driver and finding parking while being followed by traffic in LA is just never ideal. It honestly saved me so much time especially on the weekend parking in populated areas like Weho. Thank you for making this app!

Great app. This app has saved me from getting a parking ticket and forgetting where I’ve parked my car. I’m so thankful someone came up with this idea! The only issue for me is Some of the parking Location’s signs need to be updated. When you mark the sign as incorrect you have to take a picture. Only problem is you’re in your car focused on finding a parking spot and there’s no place to park so you can stop to take the ticket without risking getting a parking ticket. In Manhattan there are a lot of no standing truck unloading/ commercial vehicles only 7am-7pm signs where there were Free park or metered parking for everyone.

Account Info Leaked. Downloaded this app and coincidentally there was a data leak that contained my email and phone number. Not really anything to cry about. Otherwise the app is very helpful and found it useful for a visiting friend to the area. Spot Angels reached out and were quick to reassure me of my data safety and provide countermeasures. Thanks Team!

Waze for parking! Saved me time and money. I use this app regularly to find free or cheap parking near where I park. The new version is a huge enhancement. The street parking availability feature is off to a great start and will get better as more folks use the app. I love that the devs update the app regularly with new features and bug fixes. Keep them coming. Best of all, it’s free. Thank you Spot Angels!

Not intuitive, no payment verification. App is not intuitive. Payment set-up does not give any verification notification once you put in parking spot and CC info. Had no idea I paid for the spot via the app, no button to submit or verify payment. You just enter spot and card info and it automatically def the max time, but I had no idea. No pop up, no email, no text. Pending charge didn’t show up immediately on my CC app so I double paid for the spot using the street meter. Better safe than sorry I guess.

This app has saved me from death by metermaid!. This app has been wonderful for all the reasons outlined in the many thorough reviews here that I 100% corroborate. The features are impressive, the learning curve is not too difficult even for a non tech savvy person, you can participate in verifying parking spot rules, hours, taking photos of signs, and help the community keep the information accurate and up to date. I can’t believe how cavalier I was beforehand about parking, thinking I was in ok zones or completely forgetting about street sweeping; as a gig economy driver Ive racked up nearly $600 in tickets in the last few months alone; since using this app for a month, I’ve not received a single one. Thank You to the brilliant developers to the minds and those who operationalized a great idea so successfully!

DO NOT USE THIS APP. I heard about this app and thought, “wow what a life saver” and it seemed to be too good to be true. Turns out. It is. I booked a parking lot for my weekend in the city. I show up to the lot, which was impossible to find as it ended up being down a car-width-wide alleyway I drove around in circles trying to find, and spoke to the attendant who then sent me away because the lot was “full”. I reached out to SpotAngels directly and explained the situation asking to be refunded. They told me the lots are who charge you for the bookings not them so to reach out to them directly for a refund. After literally weeks and almost 10 attempts to contact the lot, I haven’t heard a thing from anyone let alone come close to a refund. I reached out to SpotAngels again and they told me that if I don’t hear back from them to go ahead and contest the charge from the lot with my bank as there’s nothing they can do to refund me. Use this app if you want to lose money.

Has potential but not quite there yet.. A really cool concept, I mostly wanted an app that can provide local data on street parking; for example, my boyfriend is a car enthusiast and has more than two cars; which most have to be street parked. I have two cars (also street parked) one of which I drive one daily. It would be nice to see which spots are 72, 48, 24 hours, etc. spots. From what I looked at in the preview video here it seemed to indicate free parking. It also seems there is no data on ‘Meter’ parking at all, even though I see meters all over the main streets in my neighborhood. It seems to be a similar concept to ‘Waze’ where this info is user reported, and unfortunately it seems there aren’t many users in my area (San Diego) yet at all. There is virtually no data on parking spots I can find. A suggestion would be to perhaps apply local city parking laws in the app with ‘defaults’ for spots without a user input. But that might be arduous to implement. Another issue is that Motion Access is no longer in iOS 13 and some features in the app require it. It seems they have not found a workaround for this which is a shame. I think the devs are on the right path, but until the app is more widely used it’s likely not a convenient app for me at this time. Thanks for working on it and hope it grows!

Must have app if you street park in a major city!. Street parking in SF is a pain with street cleaning schedules that change every block. This app seriously saves me whenever I street park. I don’t often pay subscriptions to apps, but to support the work of these developers I subscribed to spotAngel plus! Thanks for your work, spot angel team!

The most useful app ever :). It gives me the advantage of planning ahead where I should look for a parking spot when I go to new areas. Before using this app I never went to the city by my car.. now I don’t go to the city without my car :D Thank you so much SpotAngels team, I really appreciate your hard work on the app and believe it or not sometimes I pray for you guys for helping a clumsy person like me :D :D

Used to be great. A couple of years ago, this app was amazing. Over the last couple years it has sadly become pretty much useless - notifications haven’t worked for me for over a year (have been in touch with developers about it multiple times, but it just won’t notify me like it used to. All I get these days is a notification every time I park, saying ‘you’ve parked in an area with restrictions’, and that’s it). It often doesn’t remember my last parking location (also never used to be a problem). I never get the 15/30 min warnings anymore. And now, after a couple years or the app working less and less well, they are now charging for anything other than the most basic functions (which don’t work anymore). Really hoping another developer takes this idea and runs with it, in a reasonably-priced app. Really miss SpotAngels working well - I probably would have paid a couple years ago, but there’s no way I’d pay for this app now. I’ve waited a year or so for it to work properly again, will likely delete it soon.

Has made moving to a new city much easier.. I come from a place with ample parking everywhere and just moved to a large city and started working there. For a while I was late constantly trying to find a parking spot but with this app it gives me a good idea of where to go and I can plan my day much better. Don’t know what I’d do without it.

Excellent NYC parking helper. But needs MORE USERS to make it GREAT. This app has proven to be a great tool in NYC. I use it in Manhattan’s upper east side. I’m very impressed on the accuracy of the app being in sync with the signs. AND that the app seems to stay CURRENT with any last minute changes the city makes. So the app is great for deciding which blocks are viable to look for a space on. BUT, as my title says, for locating and OPEN SPACE, this app is only as useful if MORE PEOPLE sign on and use it, because it’s other drivers who are reporting in that they’ve seen an open space, or are vacating their space. I RARELY see a ‘halo’ indicating there’s an available space. Bottom line: GET the App, USE the App, and we’ll all benefit.

Just a warning to any new users. The “always” allow location feature to detect where you park automatically has issues, namely that it will think you’ve parked if you go skateboarding, biking, etc. I went out skateboarding today and the app totally reset my parking location. This seems like an easy fix: don’t move the parking spot unless I first go to where my car is located, indicating I got in my car and drove somewhere. This seems obvious and it was frustrating that the app failed at this purpose. I turned off “always” allow location and will be setting my parking location manually.

Colors are hard to see!. The colored lines are so hard to see under the default map view. While zooming in improves the ability to see the colored lines, you can’t really drive while zoomed in because then you can’t really see what parking spots are coming up in the next block. I really wished they would make the colored lines THICKER. Also, sometimes the photos that I submit disappear after they’ve been approved. What gives? Otherwise, this app is great.

All good things must end, apparently. I’ve always loved SpotAngels and it’s saved me so much time and money due to SFs insane parking rules and street sweeping schedules. Not to mention saving my mental health by marking where in my neighborhood I last parked my car. That all ended today when I noticed that you now have to pay to see the parking restrictions, rendering the free features useless to me. It’s a stupid money grab now that could have been solved via advertising. I’m not paying for an app when I can read the street signs. The original point from a user perspective was that SpotAngels was easy and free to use.

Suggestions to a already great app. This is by far the most advanced and easy ui street parking app and works wonders here in nyc the street times and holidays opposite side parking reminders are helpful when heading out the house. One thing I’ve noticed since the big update is that my parking spot has not been able to pick up when i actually move my car to a different location and occasionally i forget what street i left my car on and look to the app to find out it’s still has the location for the last spot i was in. Furthermore the alert that a driver has moved from a location is a smart idea but honestly lacks because not a lot of people actually use it. Maybe if it was automatic and not something you had to manually alert more people would be finding it useful other then this it’s a great app keep up the work.

No more “is it legal to park here?”. Detroit is a very busy city and parking can easily become a very stressful experience —specially on weekends. I heard about SpotAngels via a friend of mine who uses it, and have been loving/using it since. It saves me so much money and time as I use it mostly to find free street parking and to make sure I am not parked illegally, but it is also a great app to compare parking prices.

Must have!!. Living in Los Angeles or any large City, you need this App! It shows you where you can park weather free street parking or paid garages. Tells you street cleaning, how long your able to park, if it’s meter parking, or most importantly if you need a parking permit! This will save you so much trouble especially if your not familiar with the area or if it’s dark out and hard to find signs! And it remembers where you park so your able to find your way back!! FrEe!! So you have to get this! Huge thumbs up!! 5STARS!

Five stars but one request. I just got this app and loving it. Only one minor quibble: would love a way to choose a different sound for the alert. From what I can tell there’s no way to change it and it always seems to play at full blast. It can be quite shocking, especially if you are, for example, listening to music on headphones at the time. Minor suggestion, otherwise an all star app.

A developer who listens to bug reports!. This app is indeed an angel helping me find where I park my car in the city & preventing parking tickets! I love how you can search for parking locations based on when you plan to arrive & stay - paying 50¢ for a meter to get a primo spot for the rest of the evening is always a good deal. This is also one of the very *few* developers who treats you like you are part of the team squishing bugs quickly & staying on top of getting clarifications until it’s fixed. Every developer should aspire to this level of service 😇

DESTROYS battery life!. I downloaded this app after seeing some good reviews about it. First impressions were pretty good and I really liked it saving my vehicles location, but really my phone already does. My city isn't supported (the list of supported cities is very small). My phone battery was dying really quickly over the past week so today I opened up my settings to try to figure out why. This app drained my battery by 43% in a single day and I never even opened it. That's absolutely ridiculous! Facebook and Snapchat (both of which are known for battery draining) only took up 8%! As soon as I saw that in my settings I deleted the app instantly. Only download this app if you HAVE to use it in a major city or if you plan to visit one (but be sure to delete it afterwards if you want to keep a healthy battery)!

Stopped giving notifications, don’t bother. This app was pretty good when it first started. You put in your parking location, it warned you the night before that you had to move your car. Then it warned you again half an hour before your time was up. Cool. Then they started asking for your location ALL THE TIME. Why do you need my location all the time unless you’re selling that data to advertisers and retailers? Take off. I’m more than happy to input my parking spot manually, thankyouverymuch. So I wrote a review saying as much and they sent me a nice message about how they were not tracking people and selling their movements and it’s all to make it easier to remember where you park. Sure, I was born yesterday, how did you guess? A few updates ago, they changed the permissions so that if you don’t give them access to your location and your Bluetooth and probably your contacts and your blood type and credit score and I think a stool sample(?), well, it remembers where you parked, and that’s about it. I’ve had three tickets in the last 6 weeks because the app stopped sending reminders unless I let the dev have access to all my information. No thanks, guys, I already have enough corporations making billions on my data. I’ll go back to using the Apple reminders app.

Doesn’t solve my problem. I’m looking for an app that can actually use the power of the community like advertised on the App Store. I should be able to post and look at parking available from people that are leaving in real time or future time. I don’t need to know where a garage is, every app on the App Store does this. I just want to know where I can park my car closest to my building for free without having to circle around my neighborhood. Looking forward to an update that shakes up the market like I know it has the potential to do.

Trouble lately. I park on the street in Queens NY, where the side of the street is important for parking regulations. Lately SpotAngel has been putting me on the wrong side of the street and the adjust location function doesn’t always show up. It has recently happened A LOT that I Park the car, confirm the spot, and at some point Spot Angel converts the location to a parking garage (it happens in multiple locations and there are no garages nearby). There is therefore no reminder alarm and I’ve gotten a number of tickets when I forget. This something new in the last few months.

Inaccurate. This app seems like a great idea and I downloaded it because I thought it would be helpful. Perhaps it works better in other areas, but in my particular neighborhood (in NYC), this app has not been helpful at all and it is completely inaccurate and continues to send me false alerts about moving my car and making me feel nervous that I’m going to get a ticket! It’s not updated to the current parking signs. For example, it is telling me now that I have to move my car at 7am tomorrow for street cleaning. But I looked at the sign outside very attentively and many times to make sure the street cleaning said 8am. This app is giving me a headache

Great app! Especially for SF area. Found this app before my SF trip and oh god I’m so glad I did. This app is a huge saver when come to parking in San Francisco. I’m not a native there, travel by car, and the city notorious known for one way streets and horrendous parking situation. This app really help me find parking space in busy are that safe to park overnight without being tow or getting ticket. Highly recommended this app if you are heading to SF.

Terrible customer service, phantom parking spot. I reserved and paid for a spot, but every spot was reserved or restricted, even though every spot was empty. In other words, this service is faulty. Had to cancel and find another garage, and Flo from support refused to reimburse for the alternate spot which I had no choice but to book through another app. She did not escalate my case to a supervise as I requested, even though I provided photo evidence of the garage. Beware of this totally unreliable service. Apparently customer support will not do what’s right to correct their error

Useless so far. Hasn’t shown me a single spot anywhere in Vancouver when other apps have shown me paid parking, AND I was able to find free parking of my own accord without any app. ???

No thanks. Seems like predatory app

New user of the app. Useful and informative for visitors visiting a new area. Give oneself confidence to park on the side street with the available information. Or alternative garage parking with a choice of inexpensive parking.

Précise et intuitive ^_^. Nous avons repéré les stationnements de rue lors de notre passage à Manhattan grâce à cette application et nous l’avons trouvée très précise et intuitive. Un MUST si vous voyagez à NYC 🙂

Not worth it. $40 a year or $4 a month to see the free parking spots. I deleted it.

Does not work. Website keeps telling me to go to the app and the app shows me nothing at all ….

Deleted before I even started. I am tired of everyone wanting to track me. I deleted this app before I even tried to use it because I was not even able to look at it without signing in or creating an account. I’m sick to death of it. I get you need to find someway to monetize or get some value from it, but I couldn’t even look at the app to decide. Nope. I don’t care anymore.

Extremely Invasive. The app wants access to all types of apps and settings that it has no business in, why do you need my calendar when this is a parking app?

Unbelievable. I added it to the list of things I like in life.

Excellent. SpotAngels App is really a excellent app especially for using like New York. I saved a lot $$$ finding parking spot on my recent trip. I will use this app next trips. Thanks

Do not download. App doesn’t open at all

Fantastic app!!!. Spot Angel is honestly a lifesaver app because it is so easy to use and saves you the time to read each street sign and try to figure out all the obscure limitations and restrictions on street parking. It is accurate, easy to use, and genuinely helpful for a driver in a busy city like NYC!

Great app, responsive team. App does exactly what it says. Initially had an issue with sharing a car with my wife, but the dev team responded to my feedback quickly and offered support.

Weird User Experience. I use this app in cities to identify the streets that can be parked on. When I open the app it zooms into a weird point that's far away from my actual location. As I'm moving the map doesn't follow my movement Would prefer if the app showed one ways as well to help move around cities more easily to find the best spots

Would be even better with CarPlay. This is a great and very useful app. I like getting reminders about when I need to move the car. It would be even better with Apple CarPlay integration though.

Hit and miss. The application has fantastic idea however does not work reliably. while it caught once when I parked, when I used car and then parked my car at a different spot it didn’t catch that, it’s still showing that car parked at old spot. I did turn off Bluetooth if that matters

Surprisingly awesome in San Francisco. I used this app many times on our recent trip to San Francisco - a city notorious for difficult parking. I had no trouble finding a spot in the city. Zero. Made it so easy to find garages and lots, and how much each would cost. So so helpful!!!!

Needs more parking options. There are so many parking options in PA that needs to be added. Other apps have those parking available but SpotAngels doesn’t list it

Great customer service. I was having problems with the app and it turns out I didn’t have the cellular data turned on in my settings. Their customer service reached out to me and fixed the problem right away. I’ve never received better service from an app!

App crash on launch. This app used to run very well, the latest update broke support for iOS 13 devices. Now app instant crash. Dev please help fix this issue.

Didn’t work on my phone. After installation, the app requested my log in credentials offering to register me via Apple, Facebook, email etc. after I provided my email through Apple ID, the app didn’t allow me to log in, displaying some kind of error, I tried few times and uninstalled the app, but not before they got my email. Disappointing.

Overall Excellent App. This app works just fine for me. I now receive alerts from my phone. Had to do with my settings. Overall I love this app. Look at parking signs before leaving your car and use the app as a back up. Good job Spot Angel Team

This is the best app. I live in downtown and the parking price is crazy. One right next to me is 8 bucks for 30 minutes. Found free parking right next to me only 5 minutes walk. The membership fee is so low. Strongly recommend.

Lots of bugs. Can’t trust app for real-time data. The map and parking garages are fine but thr street parking has lots of small errors. App needs to incentivize the community to submit upsdates. Also, the filters UI sometimes doesnt load the top and bottom buttons so doesn’t allow you to search. You have to force close and reopen the app.

Buggy all of the sudden?. Really loved this app until about a week ago when it started getting really buggy. I can’t get passed the log on screen anymore and thus not able to use it. Please fix! It’s been really useful in LA

Superior parking app. I hate parking tickets and this app saves me from the worry. I never have to stress about where I am going to park - something that used to irk me. I highly recommend this app because it is free && saves you money && time.

This is life changing!!!. I feel SO much better having a car in the city. I can’t believe how much easier it is to find parking. I’m feel so much better just knowing how much I’ll have to spend on parking. Definitely makes it easier to decide if to take the car or not

You need this app. I love this app, the map features are great, seeing others comments or verified parking and how long ago is so helpful. I find so much free parking and no longer ask “is this too good of a spot to be true??” because spot angels always says it’s good to park there!

Asks for too much data. The onboarding is miserable and confusing. This app asks for calendar, bluetooth, and location. You can skip those, but it requires an account with email address. Never give calendar access to some random app. That is how you get fired for a security breach. The app is sloppily produced with many non-standard UI elements for no reason. 2 stars as it has successfully told me the data I was looking for, but in a very roundabout way. I just wanna see the schedule for a parking spot, but no it’s only going to tell me how much time I have left in this spot.

False advertisement. Don’t use spot angel for purchasing parking tickets. Spot angel does not check the information provided on their app for accuracy and gives you a hard time refunding charges. In our case a parking spot on spot angel was advertised as “garage” and ended up being the lot next to the garage. Customer service is absolutely useless and after endless calls and email back and forth with spot angel, we ended up paying more than double!

I’ll keep it short and simple. One of the most helpful and useful apps I use as a frequent commuter into the city for shows, etc... the only app I have put the time/effort into reviewing because it deserves it. Thank you for saving me lots of anxiety and money, SpotAngels 👌

A life saver for car owners.. Thanks to a friend who recommended this app for searching for legal parking, it has made finding parking in NYC a little less stressful. I can now find spaces where I don’t have to worry about being fined.

Best Parking App. I work in midtown and was shocked at the options you have when it comes to parking around here! This app was easy to use/setup and especially easy on my pockets compared to random parking lots around here and the meter charges $21 for 3hrs Smdh! I found a garage 4 blocks away for $11😍

Bluetooth?. Do you sell a Bluetooth that stays in the car to notify my phone when I’ve parked? It would be better than turning on the location services. Love this app.

Its flaws can be forgiven. This is an excellent app for a person who parks on the street in a large city. It keeps track of where you left the car and when you need to move it for street cleaning. Some other features are a little half baked but it performs it's primary function well.

Made with love. Hello everyone, I am Hamza, co-founder of SpotAngels. I am super excited to introduce the new version of the app. We worked hard to improve the map rendering performance so you can compare parking prices with a simple look. I hope you will enjoy it! Hamza

It’s “ok” but I deleted it.. I rated 3 stars b/c it is a little helpful but I deleted the app b/c it always puts my car parked in a different spot or on the opposite side of the street then I’m actually on. The street sweepers are not up to date in Brooklyn either. It told me I was in a spot that I needed to move by 9:30am. I know for a fact it’s 8:30 so if I listened to the app I would have received a ticket. It’s an “ok” app but I had to delete it. I think I know the streets of Brooklyn better then the app.

Thanks. I live in midtown Manhattan. This coupled with the Automatic CCA is seamless. One app tells the other app to alert me about days of street sweep almost immediately with a notification which reminds me to check the signs before I leave my car. Couldn’t ask for a better application for parking!

Love this app. Has saved me from a parking ticket more than once! And gives me peace of mind if I ever forget where I parked/what the rules are, I can just check it from my phone instead of running back to my car! SO good!

Awful app that doesn’t work.. Every time I open it, they want to ask you to do something or request private information I denied already. The app is useless you cannot look at any information unless you are forced to give up all of your information. No thanks. Other apps that work better and without all of the intrusivity and breaking down. P.S. I think I just made up until intrusivity.

Was decent - paywall made it useless. This app has always been clunky to use, but it was a good system to avoid street sweeping days. Recently, without warning, most notification settings went behind a paywall and my notifications were turned off. Got a pretty pricey parking ticket. I don’t think this app will be much use for me in the future. Hopefully somebody decides to develop an app like this that is simple and works well.

Andrew Trucker nyc parking. I think that the app first tell you enough such as when to move your car or which side of the street which is crucial that part needs to be updated on day but it gives an idea where to park in term of what’s free street parking needs to be fine tuned but it’s not bad

Great app one of the best specially where in the city. I been using this app for more than 2 years i believe and i love it !! I would give it a 5 star but I would love to see that your location can move with you that way while im looking for parking i know if that area i can park or not

Great app with a few issues. Hey I've been using this app since the beginning of this year and it's really good. So good that if I listened to the app I would've been spared a parking ticket. My only major gripe is the location editor. I'm not expecting to be spot on but trying to get the general location is a chore. So other than that really like this app

Headache free in SF. Being a hospital shift worker you can usually expect to have your car parked for 12-24 hours a day. This can rack up to $81 for one shift! But now, I can find easy parking close to the hospital and get alerts when my time is getting close to move or add more time. Love this app!!!

Best parking app. I've been using this app for the past year on my motorcycle and it has saved me from so many tickets! The best part is that it syncs to my Bluetooth so when I take off my helmet, it saves my spot automatically. I wish it had better visibility into motorcycle parking spots.

Doesn’t work. Downloaded this to help me with notifications, it worked for a few days. At this moment doesn’t work at all.

Great App. Really easy to use and convenient. I like how it saves the spot where you park as well. I use to always forget exactly where I parked and now that problem doesn’t occur for me.

Must-have for SF residents!. I use this app daily, actually multiple times a day. Super useful for remembering where the car is, and most importantly when street cleaning. The reminders are most helpful and have saved us loads of $$ in possible parking tickets. A must-have for SF residents who need/use a car. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Thank you !. I recently went to San Francisco for a road trip and parking there is horrible like in Los Angeles . Thanks to this app i got able to find the areas were i could get free parking and for how long . If not then there were the paying parking spots . Love the app :)

Waiting On Response. It’s a good app, but I never received a parking pass when I reserved a spot downtown this past weekend. And there was no way to cancel a reservation without contacting SpotAngels support team, which I did and still no response. So I paid for a parking pass I never received or used and couldn’t cancel 😡😡😡.

This will save your life (and money). Traumatized by a nearly $300 hit to my wallet after being towed in NYC, I decided I needed to get serious. This app is amazing because it not only warns you of potential tickets, but maps all the free areas of parking so you don’t waste time trolling for parking in the wrong areas. I love you spot angel!

Game changer. I love this app! Living in SF, parking is a challenge. The app not only shows me where to look, it allows me to look at when the next street cleaning day/time is to target the best place to park based on my schedule. I 100% rely on two things—the app keeping track of exactly where I parked, and reminding me when I need to move to avoid a ticket. Support staff have been quick and helpful when I’ve had issues with the app. This app is the absolute best, and I don’t know what I’d do without it.

Reassuring and improves over time. When parking somewhere new, or even somewhere I usually do that has complex rules, being informed that it’s safe to park is reassuring. When I’ve suggested improvements to the app the developers have been very responsive which is unusual in my experience and a pleasant surprise.

Wrong locations. Unfortunately when my spot was pinned it’s marked as a Tuesday Friday spot with the wrong time as well. It was marked and posted by another app user. Now the problem is there’s no way to correct or send input to change to proper time and days. That takes away total confidence that the maps are accurate that might result in getting a parking violation or worst.

Cannot Unsubscribe. After you download the app, you will get a notice for 7 days’ trial period, but after you click yes and you want to unsubscribe this app, you will find that there is no place to unsubscribe and no help button and no customer service. I decided to cancel this account and remove all my credit card link to avoid the fee deduction. Awful!

AMAZING APP!. Love this app! The most useful I’ve tried to find parking both on street and in garages. Reminders help you from getting parking tickets and you can also find open parking spots when driving near your destination 😇🙏

So helpful!. This app has been a godsend to help me keep track of alternate side parking in NYC and keeping track of where I’ve parked. Upgrading was worth it just for the helpful reminders to move my car so I don’t get a ticket.

Oh yeah. I’m just happy I as able to find free parking I didn’t even use my car yet just had to make sure updates are legit and customer service is on point (Real life Time)

A life saver. Or a least a money saver? This is a must have if you live or visit LA. Signs are confusing, SpotAngels isn’t. Quick and easy to use and even works automatically to remind you where you parked if you want it to.

My car got towed. For the second time in the row, my car got towed. The first I had to pay for $175. They only thing spot angle offer me was a free year of subscription which I don’t use and understand how to use it. I won’t my money back right now. I have proof of using your app, taking a picture of the spot and confirming the spot. I need my money back. I’m not using your app ever again.
