So much fun. You know an apps good when I can make a a photo of the monolith on a cliff Utah. This app offers plenty of creative freedom with the ability to add as many shapes as you want and mess with how they are rendered, shadows, Ect.

Amazing!. One of the most amazing applications ever made for iOS. The more you use it, the more you will discover. It's been two years since my last review. I love how creative you can with photos and videos. Soundtracks are a nice bonus and I like being to import my own obj files!

Unique & Exceptional. I love this app! And I’m not saying that in typical internet hyperbolic fashion, I’m being genuine. I’ve been consistently using Matter for 2-3 years now, & it’s never disappointed. It’s allowed me to create digital art I didn’t know was possible w/o expensive software &/or computer degree. It’s a unique editing tool, & even after trying most top photo editors/effects apps I’ve yet to find anything comparable! It provides an unusual effect of 3D objects (in basic, organic, abstract, sci fi etc shapes) to pics. With customization of the objects surface (like reflect, transparent, edge fade etc), color (if desired), shadows (control shadow floor, direction of highlights, opacity & blur), masking tool, video options & much more!! You can make the effect look as “real” as possible, or make it totally abstract, & anything in between. Thanks to the impressive variety, styles, controls & tools, you can let your imagination run wild & create amazing pieces of digital art. Thank you to everyone behind Matter! Matter by Pixite - love it!. My previous reviews disappeared, so here we go again: Matter has always been an amazing 3D shapes app and it’s still working with iOS 12, after no updates for two years. And Obviously keep adding more features and tools. My device: iPhone 14 Pro Max (latest iOS), iPad Pro 12.9” (2018, 3rd Generation, latest iPadOS) Note: I regularly update my review/rating for this application. This time from 1 Star to Five Stars.

Still one of my favorite apps. This is a great app to express your creative side even if you don’t think of yourself as the creative type. I find it very relaxing and a lot more mentally stimulating than most video games.

Excellent app, just one minor issue. Love the app, but to make it perfect it needs adjustable brushes when applying masks. Zooming in/out to adjust the brush stroke is terribly time consuming and subject to errors, I.e. unintended brush strokes during the zoom action.

Whats the"Matter" nothing. I love this app. It does a little more than the average graphic photo app... It is really 3D and it lets you add music... the object really moves, pulsates if you add sound, and to the beat of the music, it will hover, and spin in different directions.. you can add as many objects but thats the one thing if you adda new object it will disengage the first movement but move itself, ... you can add serious real looking shadows... its great .. and the style reflective or see through glowing octagon its endless with shape and style....great job, Pixite has a great family of apps....

No support for iPhone X or newer. I've been using this app for a long time now and I can't help but notice that this app is stuck at 9:16, which was the original aspect ratio for iPhone 8 and older. Complete renders are low quality, 512x512 if I remember correctly. However that doesn't mean this app is bad, this is still an excellent tool for people who don't have the time or knowledge of Blender. I used it in several art pieces and always loved the 3D shapes used within the app, it's just a shame that the app has not been updated in 6 years at the time of writing this review.

The Creme Of The Creme.. Please update my favorite app, it keeps crashing since this latest iOS. The best 3D app nothing compares to it! There’s so much that can be done with this app, it’s amazing. For those that like creating their own 3D creations bring those .obj to this app and see the amazing creations that can be done!

Love creating videos with this app. Love creating videos with this app. Ability to import .obj files created in 3D modeling programs provides opportunities for endless creativity. Nice integration with other Pixite apps. Still a favorite.

3D is the word. This is straight up the best photo app I've used in quite a while. It's a fun toy that's got a lot of depth if you want it to. You choose a photo and then add a 3D object. Then select a style which makes it mirror the surrounding photo or another blended effect. Video is a fav feature too - loop and animate the object...AND SYNC WITH MUSIC. Very surreal, buy it!

Love this app. No iPhone X support. Great app, love to tinker with it now and again, but the lack of iPhone X support is a too bad. It’s been over 2 years since an update, so my hopes aren’t high.

I love Pixite's apps. I'm not very good with it yet but I love using it. Even bought the other shapes. My only problem with it is the fact that it isn't on Google's Play Store. What's up with that, Pixite???

Surrealistic. Matter is a surrealistic piece of genius app where. You will enjoy creating endless geometric, sub geometric and esoteric art. I get lost in this app but then it works with all my apps almost.

WOWSER!. Give me a moment...Homo-Woma Sapiens are the only bipedal creatures that evolution has produced. This allowed for Brain-Hand Adaptation to take-off.... ZOOM...and over a few hundred thousand years evolve (Eye[actually exposed brain]-Hand Coordination) so that a big brain with lots of working memory (think RAM) for imagining and coordinating dexterously evolved hands could invent and manipulate tools is what allows us to use apps like this, become the “Incroyables and Merveilleuses” of The Modern Age!!! What?...moi?...over the top? You betcha!

I have the best fricking dad ever. This app, like the others by Pixite are out of this world, from being able to make it look like Godzilla is above my house with Union, to making crazy shapes above clouds in matter, Pixite is amazing.

corrected review!. Matter suddenly stopped rendering video clearly when I’m using a solid black or solid white background and using front reflection. The video plays fine on my iPad but when I export it to the camera roll then the rendered video is blurry. It wasn’t like this before. If I use a background with imagery then it renders fine. Go figure. OK - Changing my review to 5 stars based on Kyle’s quick response. As Kyle pointed out, Matter’s video render resolution depends on the background image resolution. Since I was using a low resolution black background, the video rendered in low resolution. Live and learn! Thanks Kyle! You’re the best!

AWESOME !!!!. MATTER APP is simply AWESOME !!!! I love what I have been able to do with it and hope there will be updates and more models / shapes to work with down the road. I would like to see the option of slowing down the movie feature and have the option of not using pulse to work with slow moody music in the future. Great App and highly recommended.

By far the coolest photo app I have ever used. Didn't even know this app existed until I saw a friend posting animated images on Instagram. Fell in love and purchased it without hesitation. You cannot not like the Matter app. With the Matter app the potential is there for the creative one to sparkle a quirky, odd sense within a photo. Can't complain. Honestly! Some shapes can be super complex making them hard to use effectively, but the simple ones make for some very minimalist design.

Will not work. This is the only app of its kind. I have used it for years on and off. I just downloaded it and the opening screen comes on but nothing else. Just closes. I’ve made sure there’s space and I’m updated. I’ve restarted the app and my phone. Deleted the app and redownloaded it, everything. Wish it worked.

A great addition to my creative toolbox!. One of my favorite apps to create additional movement accents and interest to my videos and stills! Am crossing my fingers that it will continue to be available. Don’t mind the the In-App additions. By far, prefer that model to subscription.

Superb. This is a must have for photo editors both amateur and professional. World Class Elegance in Design!. Very innovative and creative app, world class software. I really enjoyed playing with it, but this is the 'crunch': after playing one runs out of ideas and the novelty wears off. Brilliant, but not sure it has 'staying power' for sustainable long term use. There is only this many photos to add objects to, then?

Really great app. This app is just amazing. I haven't really been able to sit down and use every feature or try out everything out yet, and I'm already amazed. There are also integration features to also edit using other apps as a collaboration. Definitely something you want to get if you like to edit photos or do photography.

Like it, suggestions. Im enjoying this app a lot. It would be great if it had an option to tweak the light aswell (it only lets you ay with adding shadow ) feels light only has a desaturated option , would be nice to turn the opacity down of the specular and add more lights with more colors

Great for enhancing artwork. I use it to add drama to some of my digital paintings. There are a lot of fine tuning settings and gestures to use also. Try them. The app behaves well and is a worthwhile dowmload.

Matter = Amazing. I've only just got it and I love it. I wish my photos were better. I only have an iPhone 4. But you can download amazing ones for free. I wish there was an option to put an object in front of a person, place or thing (noun).

AWESOME PHOTO EDITING APP (READ). This is an amazing photo editing app. It has extremely good technology and the endless amount of shapes you can add is amazing. Photo editing is very interesting because there are endless outcomes that you can have. This app increases that already endless amount by adding all the unique shapes and being able to position the shape in any which way and any colour or texture AND even make the object rotate, pulse or hover around the axis of your choice. Overall this is a great photo editing app that i use everyday as i am an experienced photographer.

Can't draw your own shapes?. I thought I'd be able to draw my own shapes. Instead they want you to purchase their pre-made ones. Not really useful if you have a desired outcome. Unless I'm missing something... ?

Made by greedy people. Matter is the only app in this bundle worth buying. I wasted my money buying the pack so now i have a ton of useless apps that do the same thing. The people who made these apps are so money hungry they make paid expansions. AFTER YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID

Surreal. This is helpful to fill spaces and create fantastic images. So much fun. Wish it had a few more parameters like textures. The erase tool is indispensable.

i am confused.. i have about six of your applications. you rid of half of them/stop supporting them as, for example, one of them is not aligned to work with the current update i am on; which happens to be the most unique, to me, and a favorite of mine. yet, you keep this application running with no solid update since three years ago. it is extremely unstable and crashed on me about two years ago on a complex edit i was working on. have not used it since. i am highly irritated as a refund is not what i want.

Refund.. I just purchased this, and all it does is crash. Rebooted my iPad and reinstalled the app, same issue. Selected App Support and it hits a dead webpage. This is kind of terrible after all the good reviews

Ok. Now it keeps crashing.. PLEASE UPDATE! The app keeps crashing. I have to delete it from my phone and hen re-install it to get it to work. For a minute. Then it crashes again. Get on it folks!
