Can’t get it to work! Just finished true fear 2 and it was fantastic!. If True Fear 1 is anything like TrueFear 2 I really want to play it! I’ve tried everything to get it to install correctly ( bought the full version on two separate iPads and my iPhone) but it glitches out and just reverts to my desktop after the start screen! Both iPads are are the newest software versions..Please fix this bug so I can play it!

Pretty Good. I really liked this game, but I keep having audio troubles with the tape 3 cutscene. It starts off fine, but then sound is cut off when Elizabeth tells Holly what happened to her sister. The subtitles were still there and the cutscene ran fine, but I missed half of the audio for that one cutscene.

Awesome but I need volume 2!!. I loved this game! It's completely addicting. I love it so much I played it through 3 times in a 3 week period. The puzzles and all the hidden item combinations make you really have to use your problem solving skills and take your time to make sure you don't miss anything. The story is scary enough to keep you on the edge but not so scary I can't play. ;) Please please please give us volume 2!!!!

Glitch. I love True Fear part 2, so of course I downloaded this in hopes to play, paid the $2.99 to play the full version, by when I hit start it crashes and takes me to my Home Screen on my phone. Very disappointed I spent money to play the full version, and now I can’t even make it past start due to a glitch. I’ve had no issues with True Fear part 2, so not sure why I’m unable to play this game especially after paying. Please fix this ASAP!

Excellent game!. I played it through the first time on easy. The game play was excellent! So I played it through again on expert. Quite a bit more challenging without the hints and sparkles, but that just made it more fun! Keep up the good work! Can't wait for the next one!

It is a 5 star game. Because it was edited by “Big Fish” it does leave you hanging. If you can find this somewhere else and play it....it is worth it. This version blows...although it will give you most of the story, it is not worth paying for. Part 2 does a recap and picks up right where” Big Fish” let you down...There is even a note from the original developer “Digital Lounge” apologizing for the unknown editing that was done. The Game is well worth the journey. I played Part 1 years ago and played the Part2 when it was released here. Wish there were more like this..Just my thoughts,.... Kudos to Digital Lounge! And may Big Fish rest in Peace. Along with 2020.......... ;)

Meh.. Abruptly stopped with no real conclusion when she gets to the asylum. No explanation who the girl in the house is, Kept getting trapped in the email and not being able to get out of it. Even when you play the bonus chapters at the very very end still just Ended. Don't want to play a game and have to wait on the sequel. Completely expressionless character. Graphics were good but overall just mediocre.

Royally screwed with this game!. I want my $2.99 back bc I can’t even get past the menu screen. I paid hoping it would be as good as the second version that I loved, but you can’t even get past the menu on this joke of a game. Even tho I paid it hits me with an ad at the bottom and the closes down immediately when I hit start. If I don’t get a refund, I will continue to let you guys know!

4+???. There is no question that the game graphics are nicely developed, but I’m curious about who rated this game starting 4 yr. old and above. Did someone somehow missed the first cinematic displaying bloody and beheaded bodies? How did the developer manage to get such an ample ESRB rating? Also, the game freezes in the bonus chapter after clearing the email task. That blows because neither Big Fish nor the developer have a dedicated DB to troubleshooting.

Absolutely addicted. Went through the first game and was sad it was over only to find out there was a second so of course I had to get it. Sad the bonus chapter for 2 and the 3rd game have been delayed but it’s totally worth the wait. Do not recommend playing in the dark due to a lot of jump scares.

Very disappointed. I have tried several Big Fish games. They seem so interesting at first, but they are not well made. The stories are so contrived and the actions are not intuitive. I find that one has to use the hint button way too often. It’s been a few years since I last tried them so I thought maybe they had improved, but unfortunately they have not. I’m not sure how they became such a force in the field. So many other games that are way better.

Excellent!. This game was not what I expected at all. It was SO much better! The graphics are great, the story is engaging and I had a blast trying to figure out how to piece together all the clues. It's really tricky and I have no idea how you can even play this game except on beginner mode with all the hints, but I highly recommend it. My only disappointment was that because I couldn't stop playing, I beat it in only a few days. On to the next chapter!

Pretty good. I love these kinds of games and Big Fish seems to be a pretty consistent provider of them at a quality that makes them worthwhile. This one was a little buggy (issues with when I had to type using the keyboard, insisting that there was more for me to do at one location when that was absolutely not the case, etc.), but overall I enjoyed it.

Freezes up. Good game good graphics but frustrating that it freezes up in bonus chapter and there is no way to get past it. Help and Skip don’t work. It simply won’t exit the computer email part and you can’t even go back to the last saved section of the game. I love Big Fish games but this kind of freeze up you’d expect from a fre game, not a paid one.

Great game!!!!. I love this game. Its so creepy and i cant wait untill the next one comes out. Apparently they had to redo the 2nd one twice because they made it too scary then not scary then found out that people like really scary games so made it scarier than the first time. Im excited to see how it turned out

Really enjoyed this game. This game too me longer than I expected but I loved it . There are some parts that were difficult but this was one of the best hidden object games I've played ! Part two looks like it's gunna take just as long but I'm excited. It had a silent hill feel to it which made me love the game even more

Please fix!!. I bought this game a few years ago and absolutely loved it! I figured I’d revisit it now on my iPhone 11 but the game only takes up a small portion of my screen. Not sure why it won’t open properly on my new phone but I’d love to replay this!

Way fun. It is a great start to a game that could be a five star time but it is way too short. I finished it in six hours and want more. I wish I could go back and finish the clues I didn't get in the act previous to enjoy the game more. If there is a way I don't know how and maybe someone could help me figure it out. Thank you

Awesome Game!. I really liked that the level of difficulty really depends on you. You can take the time to really figure things out on your own or if you get frustrated & just can't get it, you have the option to get hints or even to skip a challenge. I was sad that it came to an abrupt cliffhanger end ...but am looking forward to the sequel!

Love game but STUCK! Help!. Bonus chapter, email scene. I’m stuck between email and diary and cannot get back to actual gameplay. What am I doing wrong? Also cannot find the list of supervisor names...was in diary and now gone?

Doesn’t function well. I was excited to get this game because I played and beat all of the rusty lake series. However, the game is not playable because it only displays a small window on the top left of the screen for gameplay. It’s so small that I cannot see the text. I assume this is an error in the functionality of the app and wanted to make the creators aware. I would love it fit to the whole screen!

Addictive and spooky. Better than I suspected it to be. Great graphics, creepy and engrossing. I really like the mix of storytelling, hidden objects and puzzles. I am looking forward to parts 2&3 to finish out the story. They allow for a free to test, then the option of buying the full first part of the game. I totally think it's worth the small price. I would definitely recommend at least trying it.

Crashes and doesn’t load. I’ve already purchased and played this game a long time ago. I decided to redownload and play it again. It said there was no account associated with a purchase so I purchased the game again. Every time I go to click start, the game crashes and goes back to the Home Screen. I tried everything and nothing works. I deleted and reinstalled the game and now it says no account associated with purchase again! I tried restarting my phone and still nothing. The game opens up small and crashes as soon as you press start. So basically I wasted my money and didn’t even get to play the game. I’m so frustrated. I would like a refund.

Just downloaded it but Keeps crashing. So played the demo on the Nintendo Switch and loved it. I see it’s also on the Apple App Store so downloaded on my phone. But keeps crashing I removed it and then downloaded again but keeps crashing.

Amazing Game!. I loved and enjoyed playing True Fear: Forsaken Souls part 1 & 2! Yesterday I wanted to play True gear part 1 again so I made a new profile and when I clicked play it would load and then glitch off. I was unsure why. Maybe I need to update my phone? I have the IPhone 11 with iOS 14.3 ( I have a pending update 14.4) I didn’t know if there was a bug in the game that needed to be fixed.

I ❤️this game!. I love these types of game, when I have the spare time. And I rarely make the full purchase. But this time was different! This game had me so engaged, I immediately paid. Then I lost track of time it was that good. Can't wait for part 2!

Need More!. I love Big Fish Games, they partner up with great studios to provide amazing hidden object games. I buy quite a bit of these games, but so far this game has blown all the other out of the water!!! The graphics of the cutscenes were wonderful and the storyline itself was intense and hooked me from the first act! I really did enjoy this game and now I need to play the 2nd!!! I just hope it's out right now

One of my fav HOGs. This is by far one of my most favorite hidden object games. My favorite being the brink of unconsciousness Dorian Gray syndrome. Takes a really long time to get through the game and finding,placing all of the objects through the houses is really fun. I haven't discovered the second chapter of this but I'm really hoping it comes out soon because it was so well done.

Excellent. This was one of the best puzzle games with great graphics, nice blend of puzzles and hard without being frustrating. I love that you can quickly go to the scenes where you can do something vs having to go back on every step.

Nice trial version game but.... This is one of the better hidden object games out there. Nice graphics and storyline. Deeper hidden object finds and tool usage. The ending of the trial version leaves you thinking you are going to the next scene but leads to a buy screen with no clue about how much the full version cost. Just go to a buy screen that plainly says you are at the end and this is how much the full version cost, want to get?

Just the kind I like. This was a great story, with creepy effects! I enjoyed puzzling out the mystery and challenges. Definitely can’t wait to play the next one to figure out what in the H is going on! Great game, worth the money, lasted a few days to play!

So entertaining!. I could spend hours on this game! I collected many items that took a long time and I wasn't finished then I went through this door that led me outside and it said if I wanted to finish buy now to unlock the next level, which sucked! If I would of known that was gonna happen I would of never played. The game is fun though so maybe I'll purchase it in the future since I'm a fan of horror.

Mind blowing. This game is one of the greatest games I've played in my life it had ordered and it was creepy and you never knew what what happened next it was a very very good game I love the fact that it has a creepy daughter and she really scared me for a a while but at the game over and over and over again she doesn't really strike me now is the game I mean the asylum and all of the wonderful art work really made me feel like I could actually be the sister

Fun!. This was a great hidden object mystery game with a nice, spooky atmosphere. The map that helps you figure out where to go (and lets you teleport there) is a great touch. I really liked the music as well. The puzzles are fairly simple, but the hidden object parts are clearly made with a small screen in mind (which is appreciated!)

Great! Where’s the rest of the story?. This is a great game, it had me on the edge of my seat and very invested... until it ended abruptly with no part 2 in sight! I don’t know how the story ends and since this came out 3 years ago, I may never know either. Definitely wouldn’t have spent the money if I’d known.

Unplayable. Normally I love these games, however every time I open the app and click start, the game crashes and closes the app. I’ve tried restarting my phone, updating my phone, uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. But nothing works. I can’t even click on the support button to get help with the issue because it just crashes the app. I have plenty of space on my phone, and I’m playing on a newer phone so I don’t see why there is a problem. Can a girl get some help here?

Amazing game. I very much enjoyed this game...however was very disappointed when I got to the bonus chapter and it won't let me get past the emails. Tried everything....including the skip and hint buttons....just keeps me in a loop. So sad, because I actually knew what I needed to do but can't get there.

One of the best of its kind. People familiar with this type of game might consider games like the MCF series to be the top tier, but this game is right up there with it. This is probably the "scariest" game of its type that I've played. The scare elements are a bit cliche, but they're done so well that it can be overlooked. For those looking for horror themed Big Fish- type games, this might be the best of the lot.

Fantastic hidden object game!. First off, I'm addicted to these types of games, and I've played quite a few on multiple different platforms. While some might think it's difficult to play a game like this on a smaller screen, I had no trouble when I simply turned up the brightness and zoomed in on the screen. I LOVED the in-depth story of this game. What an awesome plot! I was definitely sucked in and wanted to know more. I found the fright level to be slightly low (nothing jumps out and shocks you) but the music and the general atmosphere of the game kind of leave you feeling uneasy the whole time you play. I loved the effects of this game. Much less cartoony than some counterparts, which is fantastic. I try to avoid spending money to unlock the full version of games unless I know it's going to be a good investment. I cannot speak highly enough of this game. Keep it up, Goblinz-you folks are awesome!

Awesome Scary!. Hands down the best mystery game that I have played to date. Great graphics, awesome story line and such a fun mystery challenge!!! It got a little complicated towards the end of the Collectors Edition but I was able to figure things out with the help of the ppl in the forum! Can't wait for part 2 to come out!!!

I must have part 2!!!. I've deleted all other hidden object adventure games from Big Fish as soon as I played True Fear for a few minutes. This game is hands down the best with storyline, graphics, intuitive design...seriously. Accept no substitutions. And PLEASE release Part 2!

Awesome.... I wish i could afford to get the full version because this game is totally cool!!! Graphics are almost like playing on an x-box (for the most part). And the story is creepy.....LOVE IT, & i would purchase the full version if i could!

Amazing game. I really loved this game. I've played a lot of disappointing HOG and this isn't one of them. I didn't find it scary, but I loved it just the same for its creepy vibe. Unlike other HOG this one has an interesting story and I can't wait for the next one to come out. Definitely recommend.

Amazing!. This is the most fun rpg/hidden object story type game ever. I never buy games but after playing the trial I was so hooked. Sometimes when you click on hint or skip it doesn't do it right away and that's annoying. But I can play this game for hours and not get bored. I'm super impatiently waiting for part two.

Creepy fun!. I enjoyed this game! It had just the right amount of difficulty, the mini-games were cool, it had a map so you didn't have to backtrack forever to get things done, and it was pretty dang creepy! The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of the ending. It was so anti-climactic and confusing! I thought it might have glitched and frozen cuz I couldn't believe it just stopped. All on all, though, really liked playing and if they make a True Fear2, I'll play!

Best Hidden Object Game Ever. I love this game!! Excels the graphics and visual art. This game you can't put down. You want to keep going to find out who's behind it all and what happened to the sister. Want to know when the next series is coming out? Congratulations to the designers producers and all involved you really out did yourselves.

Worth it?. Yes, but prepare to be a bit disappointed. Everyone can tell you, that the graphics and design of this game is really on point. The issue is with.... .... .... ..... ?????? The Ending.... pretty vague... and not very climatic. Not to mention a few bugs within the game... and I think we all expected to get more of the storyline and game play than we did. The game was shorter than expected... I finished it within the night. BUT with all that’s been said, definitely WORTH It, and I will be looking forward to PART TWO! Hopefully with improvements ;)

Best game. I can't believe how good this game was. I loved the ending but there should be a part2. I really want to know what happens to dahlia. And want happen to the mom. You FINALLY get into the asylum (which has been the goal of the last act of the game) and... nothing. The game just ends. I get that they're hyping you up for the sequel, but give us something FGS! To spend so much time playing the game and to just have it end is a bummer. The graphics and gameplay were great, just don't expect an ending to match!

Great graphics cool puzzles. Really enjoyed this. I liked the puzzles and the stories behind it. I did find it difficult trying to find some of the hidden objects because the graphics were quite dark. I also found it difficult navigating my way through the computer part in the bonus chapter. Nice design but.... I liked this. Only disadvantage is that it’s an essentially one person with no real characters to interact. So you know you’re playing alone and there won’t be any other characters to react or challenge.once in a while. Just for the sake of a clue,is the only reason any other characters do show up. They don’t affect the game in any way otherwise.

Won’t work. The app opens and automatically shrinks to a fourth of the screen size. Then, I can click start and enter my name from the menu page which then closes the app. The App Store says it’s compatible with my phone. Why can’t I finish the email?. In the bonus chapter of the game there is a part where you have to type a name but my iPod won’t let me type the letters; q,w,e,r,t,y,u,i,o,p. As you can see I a.m. thoroughly confused and would like to get a response as soon as possible. But up until this point I really enjoyed the game.

Help me out here. I’ve played the second one already and wow it was awesome but when I realized there was the first one I downloaded it immediately but when I play it on my iPhone it doesn’t come up full screen please help me out here

Creepy fun. So I broke down and bought the game. Wow creepy addictive ended up staying up all NITE to play it can't wait for part 2 just hope they don't take forever.

Crashing Issues. I love the Big Fish games and I’ve been trying to find a good one to play for a couple days, but like the others I have downloaded this one is closing itself; I can’t even get past the screen where you push “play”. I’ve looked at the support page and tried everything they listed, but the problem persists. Very disappointed 😢

Best Hidden Object Game!. While the game mechanics aren't as nice as Enigmatis and the ilk of Artifex Mundi, this game is much more engaging and immersive! The plot is intriguing and the graphics are amazing! The main character is likable and the creepiness is real. Amazing game! I can't wait to play the sequel!

Good, But Glitch needs help,. The game was good at first, but now every time I try to play it, it will kick me out as soon as I have pressed start. I have tried reinstalling the game, but nothing has worked. I would love to play it again, so please try and fix this!

Game won’t fully load. I downloaded it and tried to open it so that I can play. It crashed and refused to finish opening. I went to tech and read through what suggestions for fixing the issue. I tried all of them and it still will not work.

The best so far. I love hidden objects games and I’ve got to say this is by far THE best one out there. Graphics were excellent, good scary storyline and plenty of hidden object scenes. 5 stars all the way!!!!!!!

Ready for part 2. I had a lot of fun with this one. Horror-themed Big Fish Games are my absolute favorite and this one was worth the while. Looking forward to the sequel.

Like this game, would love to finish it.. The computer in the study doesn’t work. I can read the emails and I was able to complete one object-comparison puzzle—and it hung up. I finally figured out how to exit the computer screen, but it just doesn’t work. Help?

Stuck. Great game but I’m where your are suppose to get a pumpkin in the old car, keep tapping at it but can’t get it, refreshed the game and still no use, I paid for this, please fix it or refund my money ..

Can’t even play it. Like everyone else said, it crashes as soon as you click start. I loved true fear 2 so I was very excited for this one. Hope they fix their app soon, otherwise they won’t get anyone able to play their game and it’ll be a dud through and through.

Overall not bad. I live for these type of games and overall it's a great bang for your buck. It's a pretty long game, which is AWESOME, but the one problem I have is the ending...it could have been much better. But definitely worth the money

Fix the game. I give it 5 stars. I’m a big horror fan. So I’m sure I’ll love it when I start playing it. Got it to work on another device. But please fix it so people who don’t have multiple devices can play.

Doesn’t work. Like a couple others reviews have mentioned, it appears small on your screen and crashes every time you hit the Start button. Can’t even play it and bought the full version too. Very unfortunate because I was really looking forward to it and now I’ve wasted a few bucks.

True Fear. Really like this game. Only thing is some of the puzzles are too hard to figure out without using the hints, but even then for example, I couldn’t find full name for email puzzle. I would purchase again though and any sequels

Can’t even play. Paid for the game and it starts and shuts right off… I’m bringing angry that I wasted cash for Nothing

AWESOME!. I love playing these games, although I hate writing reviews- but this one is an exception! It kept my interest, was long and challenging enough that I actually felt I got my money's worth, and was super creepy! Loved it!!!

Still works in 2020!. Play it, you'll be glad you did. You definitely get your money's worth. No crashes and ...scary af. Yea I said it. (can I say that on here?) July 2020

Creepsville. Population: weird.. I enjoyed this game. It left me hanging, but I'm enjoy cliffhangers when I know there is hope for a second game. Good graphics, creepy girl, abandoned asylum, and a little gore. What more could any horror movie buff ask for in a game?

So much for the bonus game. Loved the game and moved on to the Bonus. It froze when I went to the email account. Reloaded the game and it still froze. Why should I move go to Lost Souls 2 if I can’t finish this one? So disappointed and a waste of my money.

Scary but fun!. AMAZING game but I don't like how u have to buy the other levels hope the creators can change that soon but other than that it's a great game well made!

Don’t waste time or $$. Downloaded after a review raved about this game. Paid $2.99 to unlock extra features. Mostly because the game screen was minimized - thought that would help but no. And who knows actually because the game crashes before I could find out. Restarted, uninstalled/reinstalled, force closed. Nada.

Favorite Game Until...... I was really enjoying this game with great story and phenomenal graphics until it froze. I tried all of the "help" suggestions, but only option was to uninstall and reinstall, which meant starting all over. Google search found it happened to many players!

Smart, edgy game!. This mystery game has a cool plot and great graphics! Big Fish, offer more games like this! Unlike a lot of hidden object games, this game is not just a corny romance or fairy princess-type. And the characters are complex. It's smart and edgy. Love it!!!!

Very creepy!. I'm a fan of the creepy Hidden object games. This one genuinely freaked me out and I cannot wait for the 2nd installment! Some of the scenes actually made me jump! Great game and the story has me intrigued!

3/4 screen glitch garbage. This was a complete waste of my money because my interactive gameplay screen is shoved in the upper left corner of my screen. The videos and animations are full screen but the gameplay itself is glitched. I refuse to play something so tiny and strenuous on my eyes. And it’s just highly annoying. Please fix my game or refund my money!!!

Glitches. I’m so disappointed! I payed for this junk ugh 😩 when will I learn.. I have bought several games from bigfish, glitches always glitches!! This time the I’ve had restart my game at least 5 times now I’m stuck on a puzzle that I can’t complete because the game doesn’t know I’m poking on the selected item! I have so many curses 🤬 coming to mind that I’d write..

It was fun, but typing doesn’t work.. When I tried to enter my name, the top row of letters of the QWERTY keypad in the game don’t work. It also make me stop playing when I couldn’t enter the name in the email puzzle in the bonus. I would of rated this 5 stars if I hadn’t had this bad experience.

One of your best!. Love Big Fish games! This is one of my favorites! I can't wait for the second to come out...I want to explore the sanitarium! My other favorite is Twisted Lands...for those who love the stories that keep going!

Suspenseful and challenging!. This game has been out a while, but I thoroughly enjoyed playing this and I wish the sequel was out. It was fun to make my way through this. Please release the sequel!

Story is ahhmazing and puzzles are deliciously challenging. This game has the best story of all the hundreds of Big Fish games I have played. I would pay even more for the sequel.

One of the best games I've played. This game is well made and worth every penny. The plot line keeps you guessing. The graphics are great also. I would like more ghost interactions and more scares in the next one.

Mad right now. I paid for the full version but as soon as I press start, it crashes. I’ve tried every trick in the book to stop it from crashing including closing all my other apps, restarting my iPad, and deleting and relaunching the game but nothing will work. This is the only app that is doing it on my iPad and I want my money back. I was excited about this game too.

Need a sequel!!. An amazing, spooky game with a detailed, haunting storyline. The graphics are amazing, and while the puzzles are sometimes very challenging, it's a game I have played multiple times and will continue to play... Until the sequel arrives.

Glitch, and stuck. In Bonus I am stuck on the computer. It will not allow me out! I have viewed everyone's email, but cannot get out of that stupid screen! Restarting app didn't help, and I'd rather not do the whole game again!

Fun and addicting. I like the storyline but am disappointed that this game has been out for a couple of years now and there's still no part 2. That's why I'm only giving it four stars - I need to know the rest of the story!

App keeps crashing - want my money back. Use to have game before on iMac - saw the price was good (the game is worth a second go around) BUT can’t seem to get it to work - keeps crashing after title screen loads - I’ve tried everything they recommend to fix but game won’t get past title screen before it crashes - please update your app or give me back my money

Love it… but. I love this game! And have for years! But they NEED to update it. It has been 6 years since the last update. The game keeps crashing on my phone and the screen is minimized. Please fix because I would love to play again👍🏻

Rat race. It started out ok. But you end up running everywhere looking for clues that there are NO rhyme or reason to. Traveling from building to building, not even knowing what you are suppose to be looking for, and where you are suppose to going to find it or use it. Confusing. Didn’t even finish game. Lost patience.

Won’t work. There must be a bug because it only fills up half my screen, then when I hit play it crashes. Giving it a three cause I played true fear 2 first and it was great.

Best game I've played. It was long price was good for the length of the game. Some puzzles were hard and I had to skip but I cannot wait for the sequel because there are so many unanswered questions

AMAZING. This game scared me out of my seat a few times! Goodness the story was wonderful, I could hardly put my phone down! Except I had to turn it off because I was shaking in fear! This was the greatest game, I can't wait for #2!!!
