Best App!. Being a Real Estate Broker, Auctioneer and Land Developer; this is the best app I have to use.

Useful. I like the track mode, so i can drive around a field and get the exact measure!

Carter Review. I liked the app when I first downloaded it but it never updates the satellite image. I’ve made so many changes on my farm such as having a lake dug, building a barn, and a new home and it hasn’t changed on my app. Google Earth updates every year. Great app. Overall what I’m looking for. Will work great for my lawn service business. The only option I really would like to see added is an address search function, that would help having to look up a property in another app to find lat & long, then back to this app.

Land area. Best tool I have ever used to find the amount of area we are flooding for the acreage!!!

Turf Manager. Amazing

It doesn’t work. I need it to pin a location I am at, it cannot even tell me my location.

Distances and Acreage Seem Accurate. It is a good app to get an idea of walking, hiking, and biking distances before leaving the house.

Works really well. I provide estimates for asphalt paving. This app is an amazing time saver

Accuracy needs work. I have yet the opportunity to test out the accuracy of this app where ill be needing it but it my time learning to use it I have been disappointed by its inaccuracy in pinpointing my location. It takes forever and that if it fonds me at all. Most of the time when it does its miles off.

Great other than limited thru iso. It doesn’t show measurements between flags in iso version otherwise a great app for the price

Convenient. Easy and simple way to measure areas.

Use it for work; great asset. Easy to use and nice to be able to store measurements for reference.

Food plots. It works perfect for what I’m using it for, making food plots for deer!

Farm boy. The app works great and as accurate as any other I’ve used had this app since it’s beginning and been happy everyone I used it.

Planimeter. Paid app, what’s wrong?? Can’t zoom on map, can’t change color of area, can’t rotate map. That’s just for starters. Far better apps that will give you much more. Unless you want too lower your expectations in life. Good Grief this needs real help. Sorry, but this is a goose egg.

Not very good!. Extremely difficult to use. Too hard to accurately place pins. No way to delete or clear all pins. Satellite view is not as good as other measuring apps. It needs a "bullseye" to allow for pin placement. Nice try, but not a keeper. Deleting it now.

WARNING!. If you purchase this application, beware! This app is functionally OK, but to walk a path to define an area REQUIRES that you leave its location services active, even when not using the phone. You could turn off location services on the phone, but then all other apps using that service, like maps, would be unusable. Unacceptable.

Amazing App. I really like it, It is very practical and help me a lot in my job I learn to use it as tool to create Kmz with notes

Points by coordinates. Great app. Only thing missing, is the ability to manually add points by typing in the respective coordinates.

Accuracy worse than google maps app. This app has terrible gps accuracy. Not useful at all.

Easy to use. The App seems to work great. Easy to use. Some of satellite views make it difficult to see how to measure (not app fault)

Garbage. Instructional “videos” do not include a narrative, the developer makes the claim this can be used by professionals, then in the information after you purchase states “only accurate with 3m”. I’m looking for lot lines, 3m??? LOL THERE IS NO WAY ANY REVIEW HERE THAT SAYS THEY USE THIS FOR LAND DISPUTES, AND IT WORKS, IS AN ACTUAL REVIEW. If you are disputing where your fence goes...1 ft makes a HUGE difference let alone the +\- nearly 10 ft the developer disclaims after they take your money!

Great app for asphalt estimation but needs a few improvements. I just used this app to double check my field measurements instead of having to drive 2 hours, and measure in the field for another 2 hours..saving me time and money. 2 things I would to see in the future 1. It would be much easier and more accurate for my line of work if I could zoom in further on the satellite image. It’s fine if it’s pixelated, I just need more accurate points. 2. The pins need to be either translucent or simply small dots. The pins coming off the map effect covers up the image where I need to place my next point in some cases..thus causing loss of accuracy. Hopefully these changes can be made, because at this point I’m still looking for a better app. Thank you

Retired. This App works well for determining SF or acreage of a field.

Needs work and buggy. I see what you’re trying to do, and this could be a handy app. Buggy: I allow location use While Using and it says that I disallowed location. Needs: delete pins, move pins Since I couldn’t move or delete pins, and it doesn’t know where I’m at…. Going to leave it alone. Maybe check in a few times a year to see if it’s any better.

2 stars. The app glitches me out in the middle when I’m trying to measure.

Waste of time.. Purchased app. No instructions on how to use it and the fonts used are too small to read on an iPad. Let's hope they fix it.

No luck. Can't seem to get it functioning. Just want to set a single waypoint and walk away from it and know straight line distance. Should be simple right?

Good for walking field boundaries. I find this app works well in documenting field boundaries for agricultural purposes. It matches my handheld high-precision Garmin unit very well on reasonably clear days and does a faster job of documenting areas via screenshots. I like that it will export the raw data points too. On cloudy days with worse GPS signal, I still need to use the smaller handheld hardware unit.

Great for mapping land. Using it to measure and map out spaces where I can grow plants on a property that has trees dividing up the spaces and hilly terrains in certain areas.

Not worth it. Could be my gps on my phone but it’s a new iPhone. Was not locating coordinates properly.

Terrific Resource. So much information—and flexibility—literally at your fingertips. Most highly recommended.

Still Evaluating. Update: Developer response inadequate. There is no way I can find on iOS to move/paste/share/export the kml file from an email to the planimeter app folder. There is no way I have found on iOS to navigate from the app folder within the app to a cloud drive to copy/import a kml file to the app folder - meaning can not “import” within the app from OneDrive, iCloud, or google drive. So yes the file can be emailed but that is it - there is no ability to get the kml file into the planimeter app folder on iPad - or even to the same iPhone from the “Sent” folder. Suggest if it can be done then this is a UI issue and the developer needs to provide iOS based screen shots on how it is done, or at least access to a pdf on how it is done. Online “trainings/demos” do not address this question adequately Original: Things I like, but the following is a deal breaker - no value to file only accessible on phone small screen. Valuable on phone if manual GPS distance tracking can be mastered (not yet) AND saved kml file can be shared to iPad version of planimeter. . . Cannot share iPhone saved Kml file via email - Planimeter not on list to share file on iPad email. Also . . . Though iPhone settings allows selection of iCloud in planimeter settings, planimeter is not on list for this iCloud Drive. Hence kml file not synch’d from phone to iPad. Obviously both challenges/issues could be “user error” but have not yet figured out how to get the file on iPad . Doable?

Best I’ve found but not the best it could be.. What this app does is highly valuable. How it does it could be better. I wish it would zoom in more than it does.

Multiple sections. I’m currently trying to divide up in thirds (approx 8.3 acres each) 25 acres along a partial of land that is road side on one side and a creek running diagonal across the back. I would like to be able to keep highlighted each 1/3 as I move and adjust the pins so that to keep track of the boundaries and find my layout to make the equal division of land. Makes sense ??

Does not work. Iphone 6 plus never finds gps coord even though google maps does

Don't purchase. A GPS app that has no easy way of finding your your current location and very old maps. No good

Useless. App won’t even recognise starting position correctly ... it’s out by a couple of kilometres! Expensive mistake buying this. Is App just a scam??

Review. I’m a farmer and use this app all the time. Love its simplicity and accuracy. Great for planning my paddock fodder crops and pasture renovations. I’d recommend it to anybody.

Great app. Very helpful app for figuring out acres.

Farm field. Love the app and helps me to find how many acres I farm but either I can’t figure how or you are not able to mark bush areas in the middle of you field

Works well and good replacement to old AgriPlot. I have used AgriPlot for a while now and it has not been updated in some time, so I have been looking for a replacement. This is a good replacement and the ability to send KML files to Google Earth is a high point for me. One thing that I would like to see is the ability to take a photo at a “point”. Would be good to have this capability included in the notes for a point, track, or polygon so a photo can be referenced for a point.
