Zero Stars. This app is a joke, just like the platform. Nothing works as advertised & our ingenious state association forced everybody to use it & they swear after all the kinks are worked out, it will be great. Here’s a tip, work all the kinks out PRIOR to forcing people to use it so it actually does what it is supposed to. That’s how it works in the real world, not the fantasy the state association lives in.

Worse than useless. This app is seriously disrespectful of peoples time. I entered information carefully, only to return find out that it was partially missing. I don’t feel comfortable having my child’s health information in an out like this.

Don’t install 2.49. The latest version of 2.49 removed the ability to text your crew or school admins from the iphone app. I would not install it if not forced to do so. Dragonfly says they are working to resolve.

Needs tons of work.. The app will not let me complete the form. I tried multiple times to finish the last portion of it, but it absolutely will not let me. I go to try and click the last part, but won’t let me and after trying to click it a million time the entire portion of the form DISAPPEARS! So now I am stuck at 87% and probably will not be able to preform in my next game, because it is incomplete. It’s a huge hassle. If the school district wants to do it online they should get an app/website that actually works.

mind numbing. You have to fill out the same information over and over and over and over again. Also while you’re trying to fill in the forma a black box pops up constantly about updating the medical record. We got it the first ten times!

NO STARS SCHOOLS SHOULD DROP THIS. like many of the other reviews say, i had to do this for school sports, it made me enter the same information MULTIPLE times, and it takes at least 45 minutes. the whole 45 minutes is spent repeating yourself. come on yall, even doctors office paper work isn’t this repetitive. ON TOP OF THAT it deleted my answers the first time and i had to do it all over again.

Useless!!!. I never write reviews but this app is an exception. It’s STUPID AND A WASTE of the parents’ time! I went from my kid being -01% percent ready to to compete in a school sport to -61% after spending over 30 minutes answering questions. Now i know when I went to download the app that it only had a 2.5 rating!!! 😡

Horrible!!. Cannot believe our schools use this app to keep up with our kid’s private health information!!! There is NO liability on the app developer to protect this information. The app is not functional and very glitchy! We can’t even get to the medical eligibility form because the screen won’t allow us to scroll down far enough to get to it. Have had to enter the same information multiple times which is redundant and inefficient. School system administrators should prevent requiring parents to use this app to protect the privacy of our children!

This is my first App review ever. This app is complete garbage. I have never ever reviewed an app before. But I had to review one here now to communicate what a dumpster fire this garbage piece of trash app is. The world is worse off because this app exists. to the owners of this app: it is beyond redemption and beyond hope. delete it. Start from scratch. There is nothing here to salvage. and I don’t think Michigan is shaped like that.

Not very user friendly. We downloaded this for volleyball at one school. We moved, and her new softball team uses the app too. I could not get the app to switch schools, update account, or delete my daughter’s old school. I had to go the website, log in, and start a new profile for her. I deleted the old one, but the app (1.5 years later) still doesn’t reflect the same. I can’t even use the app now. I have to use the website via my phone, and that’s irritating as well.

Terrible app for ohsaa umpiring. - app never loads unless you close and reopen everytime you access. - recently when opening app it crashes every time before the app loads. - doesn’t allow a calendar view - notifications are not viewable - push notifications do not go away after opening app - can’t click on location of games to link to map services - website has similar issues Overall terrible app experience for an umpire.

Zero stars!!!! Awful. Awful. The school system switched from family ID to this system and trying to get my daughter set up and registered has me so frustrated I am in tears. I have never felt so much rage towards any app or piece of technology. School administrators if you value your sanity and your players parents sanity please stay away from this app. So frustrating. The App won’t allow me to scroll down enough to even answer the questions on the forms.

Horrid. Been trying to work the app for months. I’m in the media and have more than a dozen schools with upwards of twenty sports at each school. In theory this app should be a dream for someone like me with hundreds of teams and players to follow but it’s far too confusing to navigate. Coaches and athletic directors are ditching it as fast as they get registered. Hard to believe it’s a product of maxpreps.

App won’t open. I can never get this app to open on my iPhone. It just sits on the loading page forever with no progress. Very inconvenient for coaches who are at a practice and can’t sit down at the computer.

This app will only frustrate you. We’ve been trying to get this app to work for my daughter for several nights. It’s a hybrid app, which means the app on your phone is only a shortcut to their website. A website that doesn’t function well and is NOT mobile friendly. We had to jump on a laptop to even view the site correctly. And by saying “correctly” I’m being gracious. If you’re trying to transition a student from one school to another — or one sport to another, prepare to be met by failure. You can’t even remove old accounts without it telling you to go and contact that Support people. There are too many errors to number, but what I can tell you is that the app hangs up constantly and you can’t edit or delete things like you should be able to do. And the app/website is broken and information isn’t presented in a viewable format. It’s a broken system and needs a major overhaul before users can take this seriously.

Terrible app. So clunky and everything is redundant. It is not that difficult to prefill in info that has been filled in on other areas of the app already, but this app does none of that. The responsiveness for the scroll bar is way off. The forms are not mobile friendly .. the app as a whole is notuser friendly at all.

What a headache. This platform is required for coaches in Arkansas to use. It is not at all user friendly. It’s extremely difficult to navigate, in order to get anything done on the site it takes hours of trying to figure out where to do certain things. Then you think you have it done and you’re notified that you don’t. Then you try to correct it, and you can’t get back where you started. I hope their server crashes and burns.

Problems. Neither the app nor the website work properly. Not on an iPhone anyway. It won’t let you scroll down all the way to the bottom to fill out information; therefore, you cannot complete your profile. You can’t upload your sports physical until your profile is complete. Very frustrating.

Is this a joke?. Who’s the idiot who chose this app for school systems? Would give zero stars if possible. The setup process, switching your child from sport to sport & school to school is so bad it’s almost comical. I find it hard to believe this is the best we can do. Based on the current leadership in public school systems, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised though.

Schools should be ashamed to require this!!!!. BEWARE!!!!!!!!! This app is absolutely terrible. You have to upload all your children info including insurance info. After entering all this private info the app doesn’t let you complete the last step because it is no way possible to click the last section. Sometimes it’s there sometimes it’s not but when it is there it slips away before you can select it. Lastly there is no way to delete your account once you make it. Yes I could delete the app but my child’s information will still be there. I want to remove our information but can’t. My child will not ever join another team sport if it is required that he use this app.

Zero stars if I could. This app asks for the same information over and over again. I should only have to enter information ONE time and the app should populate that information throughout the documents it wants it on. My address isn’t going to be different, nor is the contact information, my child’s sex, date of birth and all the other questions that are asked SEVERAL times in different places will not change while I’m filling this out. This is redundant and time consuming when it shouldn’t be! The longer the form with redundant information asked, the more opportunity for mistakes because people are ticked off and just want to be done with it. Hospital forms are more user friendly than this app.

Disappointing. The developers have made little progress with this app. It always has quirks and errors. I always get two notifications for every message then when I go to messages I can view them. I have to reload the app frequently just to get it to work.

WORST APP EVER!. Our school system continues to require this app, even though we have had problems with it for 3 years! Tech support is sub-par, limited availability- never when you need it, when athletes move from middle school to high school the transition is a nightmare and doesn’t work without multiple tech support requests. I would not recommend this app!

If I could give zero I would. I can’t even get to the log in page on the app. It freezes, kicks you out, updates student readiness and doesn’t inform parents so they are not ready for workouts and worst of all ask for very sensitive medical information. Get rid of it.

The mobile app is crap. You can’t access/scroll down to see & complete all questions and you can’t continue on without finishing them. This is not compatible at all with mobile devices.

Mississippi, do better. The state is Mississippi is basically forcing you to get this ridiculous, glitchy, and almost unusable app to get updates on athletic activities. Every time you need to delete/make a profile, it always says “changes could not be saved”. The app is just so shady and I hate using it

Can’t get past first screen. Came here to say what everyone else has said. I can’t even get past the first task which is to connect to a school. I select my role as a parent and then nothing…no next button, no drop down the to pick the school, NOTHING HAPPENS. I am all for technology making things easier but this doesn’t seem to be that.

Un functional time waster. Downloaded the app per the high school coaches request. App won’t scroll down far enough to let you answer all the questions required and you can’t fill out any of the other key forms as a result. Beg your team to use any app other than this one.

The worst team sports app there is.. No question, not even close. TeamSnap, TeamReach, GroupMe, Remind, Swimtopia, I have used them all with all their issues and quirkiness. It isn’t organized well, it isn’t responsive to inputs, it does not load right. Disaster! If you are a decision maker in your organization, avoid using this app if you want parents to use it at all.

Terrible. Our state league is using this app and it is awful. We are spending way too much time trying to get passes for our staff. They don’t have adequate listing such as Asst. Supt. or even other district staff. Support is lacking. Names are in the system and then gone. Try something else IMO.

Terrible. If I could do less than one star I would. Not at all user friendly and we are forced to use it. Shame on the developers and the owners for over charging organizations for the “convenience” of this absolutely terrible excuse of an app. Literally robbing the AAA.

Should’ve read the reviews before downloading.. Had to create an account or my daughter wouldn’t be able to cheer this season. Took me 45 minutes of entering the same info on multiple forms and I’m only 71% complete with the required info. Downloaded the app after navigating the website only for the app to not open. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Extremely frustrating app. This app must work well on the administration side, as I can’t imagine any school district putting their students/parents through the frustrations of this app. I personally would have spent my time more effectively by printing out blank documents and writing out everything by hand. Tech is supposed to make things easier not more difficult. I can’t even email the form to my kids doctor via the app. Nor is it allowing me to “print” a blank copy to download and email separately to the doctor. 🙄 Unless I’m just missing something…

Terrible. Doesn’t open correctly on my phone. Wrong format for an iPhone. Once you open a window within the app you have to disable the app to get it to work again

Terrible user experience. I would never choose this app for an individual user experience. To any athletic director trying to find something for your school system, find another option.

Not a fan. This app needs major usability improvements. Be prepared to enter a lot of information multiple times. It seems like this could easily be solved with the technology. Also, it’s a scavenger hunt to add a new school or a new sport and I haven’t yet figured out how to remove my daughter’s old school yet. Kids switch schools and change sports all the time, Dragonfly should make it incredibly easy to do this. I would not choose to use this app on my own and hope that our school system finds a better alternative soon.

Record keeping made easy. I absolutely love this app. As the lone AT for a 20-sport High School, this app has simplified communication and documentation for all of my athletes. I would recommend it for any high school athletic trainer that is searching for an electronic records system.

Don’t waste your time, just use a laptop. I haven’t been able to get this app to work for almost a year due to its terrible design, functionality, and support. The only way I’m able to do my job as an official is to use a laptop. I do not understand why any association would use an app that cares so little about whether or not it works.

Poorly Fleshed Out App. If you are a sports official switching from any other assigning system to dragonfly.. prepare to be disappointed. 1. The app doesn’t allow you to view your schedule in a calendar format. This should be an easy feature to implement, as both Arbiter Sports and RefTown have this. 2. Block Dates: if you set several blocks, they do not display in chronological order or on a calendar format. 3. Notifications come in for new assignments.. sometimes. Other times I receive no notifications at all. 4. Assignors do not receive notifications when you reject games. Make sure you call them. All in all, there are several areas that dragonfly can improve in. The app works, but that’s about all it does.

No Thanks!. Administrators-skip this app!! We are being forced by our schools to use it. Read the waiver!! It accepts no liability for any of their issues which means it will fall back on the school system. Simple items that should transfer over do not…be prepared to enter insurance info, name, etc. more than once. It would not accept a form I completely filled out…said it was highlighted in red but it wasn’t. So I uploaded it, and then the system rejected it!! It rejected a physical form that the doctor stamped as signed and signed on the reverse. The doctors Office is a pediatrician and does tons of these per year. It is a huge inconvenience to have it redone. The form is ok as is. No information is transferred from kid to kid so it takes a huge amount of time to re-enter. I am sure there will be other issues. WE SHOULD NOT BE PUTTING OUR KIDS PRIVATE MEDICAL AND PERSONAL INFORMATION ON THE INTERNET!!!

App not functional. The app isn’t user friendly at all doesn’t allow you to complete necessary paperwork because it won’t give you the last question in multiple sections, allowing you to complete that section and move forward. It’s completely frustrating and needs to be reworked!!

Crashes. School insists athletes’ parents must use this app before they can play. I can’t get past 80 percent of sign up because the app keeps closing. Frustrating. Good idea in theory but nonfunctional. I hope school stops requiring this or app gets better.

Useless for ATCs. This app used to be fairly good for an athletic trainer to use to document injuries and now I can’t even look at past injuries or even complete a SCAT efficiently on the sideline. It’s also been extremely difficult to even look up an athlete’s name especially if they’re at the bottom of the list I can’t click on their name to put in an injury. With all of these updates for the parents who can use the resources on a computer, this app is no longer helpful for Athletic Trainers who need it quick and easy on a sideline to help THEIR kids.

Going downhill. Has anyone noticed all the 5 stars are from 2 and 4 yrs ago??? This USED to be a pretty decent app. The preseason paperwork process for parents is still about the same, for my school, but Dragonfly has KILLED the Athletic Trainers. The very ones who convinced our schools to sign up for your services. We USED to be able to upload a form or Drs note in the app. We USED to have an injury list to keep our coaches updated in real time on an athletes status. We USED to......but no more. It seems as if Dragonfly has gotten involved in more than they can handle. It’s hard to believe they’ve regressed this far this quickly and that’s reflected in the reviews.

Money stuck.. Terrible. They only have chat support and only ach deposits. If their system doesn’t deposit the verified deposits in your bank you must jump hoops to get your money out. My bank isn’t in my area so I would have to drive to a branch to get what they want which is pretty inconvenient since it is 8 hours away….

Just a guy. Such a travesty. I was an official trying to keep up with playoff assignments. The mobile app kept closing down so I finally get a response from them. The app in the App Store is no longer functioning, so I could only go through laptop. Nice customer service.

DO NOT USE THIS APP. Use another app if you have a choice. The state of Mississippi is forcing officials to use this app when being assigned games. 1. The app crashes every time you get a message. 2. There is no way to see your games on a calendar format. 3. When creating blocks for dates they are not listed in chronological order or offered in a calendar format. 4. This app is so bad that I’m convinced someone is getting paid to force us to use it. Nobody in their right mind would ever think this app was worth using.

App is Garbage. So my son set up a profile and I set up a profile THRU THE WEBSITE, because the app is garbage. Hopefully all the info is in there and gets where it needs to go, but so far haven’t used the app for anything. Maybe an idea for the developers is to require set up thru the website and then have a link to download the app at the end. Seems like a lot of work to develop an app only to have to have folks use the website.

Is good. The app is good because you know if your coach is gonna be at school because this gonna text you about it and you can play anything in here like football & basketball and many more…

Can’t update anything. I need to update my son’s athletic information from last year and it won’t let me edit any information. This app is useless.

Crashes won’t open. Won’t open at all on latest iOS for my iPhone XR. Website also funky, had to create a new account NC5 I couldn’t login to my old one, won’t let me merge with my old account, doesn’t remember my old sports and forms. I’m a coach and this is nothing but hassle.

Won’t let me rate negative stars. Dragonfly is one of the most cumbersome platforms Out there. I’m a coach and it is so difficult for parents and staff to use. The app won’t load most of the time and we can’t even get our coaches card.

One of the most embarrassing apps ever published!. The usability is pathetic. It’s bad on the website. It’s even worse on a mobile device. It’s not intuitive at all in us flow and requirements. Haven’t been so frustrated with any app before.

Needs work. Very slow. I thinks it’s saving constantly. Lots of duplicate questions (at least for Arkansas). It literally took 30 minutes to do one student.

Simply quit working. DF decided to fail to load last week. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, changed passwords, to no avail. I’m now using the site on the Safari app.

Trash. Trash app. Schools forces us to use this trash app that is worse than ET on the Atari 2600. Also, it’s awful that we are forced to share private info with unknown third party. Health questions were invasive. If an administrator requires this of families then they are trash as well.

Dragon Fly Max -Officials. App doesn’t always display game assignments. Latest update removed game assignments, so I had to delete app and reinstall it. App does not allow officials to view crew assignments. App needs lots of work .

Terrible. Alabama switched from Arbiter to Dragonfly. Worst decision ever. Not seeing games after email notification, pay won’t download into bank account after numerous attempts.

Annoyed wife. Why do coaches need to upload license and a contact. Dragonfly is trying to control things they shouldn’t. How do we stop this setting. Why am I having to be an emergency contact and download an app. We have cellphones for this.

The worst. If you can ever get it to open, you better make a photo of your coaches card, because you’ll never see it again. “Do not close, saving” is always at the top. It’s terrible.

Do better. The app makers and developers could do better with this app. Especially since the schools are making us use this app. Been a disappointment from the beginning.

Constant failure. You’re better off using the chrome/safari app to logon to Dragonfly than to use this app.

How bad is it. Go outside and beat head against a brick wall. More useful than this app. Pay doesn’t work. Communication doesn’t work. App dies at any time and has to be deleted and reloaded multiple times. Would rather stick finger in a circular saw.

Always crashes. The app is slowwwwww, but I got an email that it’s supposed to be faster... and now it won’t even open. It shows a brief screen then closes in about a second. So frustrating!!

Atrocious app. So we’re expected to use it to register and keep up with our kid’s school sports but it’s just error after error when trying to enter day. What a joke.
