If you care about your gaming experience please read. I consider myself a professional gamer, I do not just use games to pass time or as some “hobby” I legitimately care about the games I play. This game has put me through a lot and if you want to get into FPS or TPS you should start here, it helps to train you aim and timing, however the only thing I do not like is, after not playing this game for a few months, all of my progress was deleted and when I opened the app, it took me through the walkthrough again. This was extremely frustrating watching months of progress be wiped away as if it was never there, logging into social media had no affect on anything. I give it three stars for the in game experience, and three stars for the progress that I lost. I would have been even more mortified if I had actually spent money on this app. I recommend that if you intend on playing for a while, do not let yourself use your iTunes money on this game.

Love it... But.. I really enjoy this game. A lot. I played it before and got pretty far. But now I am almost caught up. I like how you have to balance what you use your energy on and the money you make to do certain hunts in different categories. It’s pretty neat all the different things you can do. Elite challenges are okay with all the things it has. My only problems relate to that. The problem with the special coins is that they are somewhat difficult to get. Though I have about three thousand, that’s after grinding all my energy on coin related things. And they are spent quick due to all the needed upgrades. I love spear fishing, but for some reason that off limits due to the need of silver coins. Not too bad, but can be obnoxious though not directly needed to be fixed. One huge gripe, and the main reason I haven’t given five stars, is that at the current moment there is a bug that makes me restart almost all the time and uses my energy, but doesn’t save the progress on the hunt I had; as it usually happens right after a hunt. Just now I progressed in CTS twice, in a WiFi area, and it set me back both times and used my energy. Kind of annoying man. Besides that. Great game as it is. VERY generous with free energy in ads and certain times. Aswell as gold.

Lost items. Briefly fun but becomes repetitive quickly. Items purchased have been lost with 3 complaint tickets and counting sent to nonexistent customer support. You know how there is at least an auto reply as in "your issue has been received and is being reviewed..."- nada. Do not purchase anything from this game. 4 different items have disappeared on 4 different occasions- was not a singular glitch. Old deer hunter used to allow you to get a single stellar gun that would allow you to get through the entire game without purchasing another one. This Dh forces you to purchase a gun for each region with the constant need for upgrades every few hunts- utter tedium. Spear fishing addition is fun although progression is nonexistent unless you purchase items with real currency to progress leaving you in game limbo playing the same region over, and over and over again. The constant need to upgrade and purchase new items has made this game unplayable for the casual gamer and the disappearing items has rendered this game useless for the player who is willing to throw down a few bucks as there are no guarantees on purchased items. Update: 5th support ticket written and still no response!

Way to much trouble with crashing. Ok this is a fun game....but you should think about spending money on this game. The game crashes often and I do mean OFTEN. I have spent a good bit of money on the game and I didn’t mind at first....but I literally just spent 30 min playing the game and you get about two hunts and then that error notice shows up and it is time to reset. That is not a problem I guess but what is a problem...you spend money on energy; when game crashes after a hunt (always after) the energy is used up and is deducted but the benefit (XP, money, etc.) will not tally in your favor. Customer service is worthless; will get some useless suggestions on a fix. Basically it is suggested that it something wrong with your iPhone (if you use that platform). I play three other PvP/team games that I spend money on and rarely is there a problem with crashing. For the record I have no problem spending money on games and this is the fourth review I have written and the first negative one.

Please fix this. I’ve tried thousands of times contacting Glu mobile about this error I cannot play any of the regular gunning the one with 104 regions. I deleted this game needing more storage but I loved this game so much, but when I tried to play the gunning It did not work at all, I tried for hours to fix this none of my efforts work, I contacted Glu mobile about this they said the fixed it but they did not, their system for customer care is not that good to be honest. The rest of the game is great but I hate earning all the gold to buy new guns for new regions it’s a pain in the a**! I hope you guys change the gold system back to money like how it used to be and I hope you guys fixed the error. I would rate 5 stars but since my experience I give 3. Great game but poor system PLEASE FIX GOLD SO ITS NOT 500 GOLD FOR REGION 2 WEAPONS!!! Thanks for hopefully reading this anyone I hope you actually fix these things. Drop Drop Drop Drop Drop, oh, and Drop. Downloaded 2018 as I had played DH 2017 and then tired of its repetitiveness early on in the year. Thought maybe this was an exciting new 'spin' on the idea.... Screech, bang, halt. Nope. Sure, some different scenery, animals, dog pals, Sharks... Yeah, that would maybe be neat and fun.... But.... The game either wants you to play until you blow your brains out to earn enough doubloons to get an upgrade, OR, you are dropped every frickin 5 minutes! Seriously... Log in, play 2 minutes, get dropped. Log back in, play 5 minutes, start getting into it, dropped. The fact that I am patient as a Saint is the only reason I haven't thrown the iPad across the room while playing! Save the grief... Go download a Zombie FPS game and get some enjoyment, cause this game is a headache.

Why Remove Platinum Eagles?. While Gunning/Historical Hunts/Rod Fishing still function since the latest update, you can no longer progress in both Historical Hunts and Spearfishing. Since the CTS Events were the ONLY way to earn Platinum Eagles, the removal of CTS, effectively cancelled the other two. It seems like an easy fix. Change the currency to Golden Eagles or implement a way to earn more Platinum Eagles. It’s very unfortunate that the removal of 1 game mode essentially ended 3 modes. I’ve been a loyal DH supporter for 8 years. I’ve contacted customer support about this multiple times. They have no interest in addressing the issue. Conversely, they have no problem continuing to take my actual real money.

Good graphics and gameplay, developers are idiots. I liked this game, I really did. I didn’t want to give it 3 stars. The graphics and gameplay are great, but everything else isn’t. Let me explain, I liked the idea of events, and I understand having to pay for certain weapons for said event, but having to pay in gold isn’t. You can only get so much gold from ads, and to get it in bulk means going to the store and using money to buy it. Another problem is how expensive upgrades get, at stage 2 I found myself grinding the same contract missions over and over for money. Not wanting to grind money would also mean going to the store and using real money to buy it. In the end, it’s just a pay to win game.

My review!. Now don’t get me wrong I love this game but every time I log on it says I need to update it and I don’t like that. Also another thing is I think they should add different moods like multiplayer or single player so your not playing alone the whole time. Another thing I thing they should have is a chat so for example you are in the middle of a hunt and you want to text your friend without leavening the hunt your can just send him/her a text in the chat. Awesome game but needs a little more ideas.. I like the game I started playing when I was a 5 or 6 year old. And these are a 9 year old boy’s idea. One idea is you can free roam but still need to finish the mission. The second idea is you can crouch. The third idea is there is trapping and there is dogs with the historical hunts. I know about the Wild West there was horses with some people. So please add horses and kinds of horses. The fourth idea is more kinds of animals. Like caribou, coyotes, and I think that is all. I will another if I think about more, but that is all. :)

What a lovely game. Within this game, the player is assigned missions to hunt and kill a specified number and type of species of animal. The game has more than 100 species of animals, not just deer. Successful missions earn a reward of Hunter Dollars. Players are issued with a basic gun. There is a gun store which stocks rifles, assault rifles, shotguns and pistols. The specifications for the guns are shown in detail. The player selects a gun – for superior guns and upgrades the player will need to use Hunter Bucks or Glu Money. The game is set up with 8 regions, which are different habitats. Each region has five different hunts – consisting of one Trophy Hunt (which is the most difficult) and four other hunts. Each hunt has a series of missions. Completing the Trophy Hunt will enable the player to unlock the next region. The four minor hunts enable the player to earn Hunter Money to upgrade their gun for the Trophy Hunt. Each region becomes progressively more difficult, which requires gun upgrades.

Alright, but really held back. Very fun if you like the old Deer Hunter game. But the upgrade costs get ridiculous very fast. There are multiple in game currency's, most of them very difficult to obtain, all of them available with in app purchases. Its also possible to get stuck when you dont have enough of the in game currency to even go on a hunt because you dont have enough to upgrade your weapon. This makes some of the spear hunting (my personal fav missions) impossible, and you have to wait on the loot box system to MAYBE give you a potential upgrade once every six hours. Unless you buy them with real money of corse. Also, my game has a tendency to just drop connection VERY frequently, which is very frustrating when it happens in the middle of the hunt because you wasted the energy to go on the mission, and have to either wait for energy to regenerate or buy more.

This is not a opinion or reply but an idea READ!. So I have a idea that could be a huge success for your company: Monster hunting! This game allows you to move freely while joining your friends anywhere in the world without having to pay with the acception of guns and money. Multiplayer: you can sign in and make a custom name but the password can be anything easy and the server creator gets power over game ending whether the game should end when he leaves and if guests are allowed to play anymore or not and 10 people can join you at once. Monsters: The rake/rake map. Bigfoot/Bigfoot map. Yeti/yeti map. Mothman/mothman map. Werewolf/normal woods map. Ufo/aliens/ country side,forest combo map. Vampire/England forest map,abondoned village terrain/winter map 10 vampire spawns. Chupacabra/chupacabra map dessert Abominable snowman/winter map. The abominable snowman is basically a bunch of slightly smaller bigfoots still bigger than the player and there can be a large amount spread throughout the ski mountains and cold forests. Troll/forest map. Giant trolls spawn and are very quiet but very effected by light.

I LOVE THIS GAME BUT THERE SHOULD BE SOME UPDATES TO SPEAR FISHING. I love this game I play it almost every day and all that but I think there should be an update to spear fishing and Like many others I am one of those people who like to spend all of there gold also the update I think there should be is where in spear fishing so you know how the elite suits for day and night time fishing are very expensive and It needs gold to bye it so I think instead of gold all the elite suits can be bought with money instead don’t y’all think well I hope they do get the message and do the update

Take Your Money and Run. This app is a fun game if you are willing to pay $20 every time you advance to new levels. I have nothing against a game maker making some money to entertain me but these guys take it over the limit. They make SuperCell look like the Salvation Army. And to get gold without buying it, prepare for a hour of playing every 2 hours to even come close. To make things worse, the app is unstable and when you lose connectivity secondary to their servers you lose whatever you were doing be it gold, a hunt, or a purchase. They offer no resolution other than repeating the same tag line about checking connectivity. I emailed them screen captures of my internet speed, stable connectivity, and asked them for help or a refund and they denied every request over a 4 week period of gently communicating through their app. Well congratulations, your app is deleted. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Forgotten Game. So many bugs and glitches that make the game irrelevant. Animals running right past but the aim won't let you move to where they are, as if I were supposed to be facing the opposite direction and got stuck. You get tickets to spin for crates but you get way more than you can use in a day so you have hundreds just sitting there useless. The 15 different forms of currency within one game is stupid. PvP is AWFUL. You can win three close games and feel right at home in your rank, then get smashed by someone with a gun much better than you could have so it's a wonder how it's even a contest. You play because it's the only way to get what you need to progress but having to spend twice as much time losing as you do winning, isn't a fun game at all. Will be deleting.

Play the game or not?. This is a great game! This game is one of my favorite games. After I downloaded the game I opened the app. After I opened the app it went to the loading page like any other game would. It stayed on the loading page until my phone turned off. The orange deer in the bottom right corner disappeared and the background kept moving saying the game was loaded. Suddenly the background stopped and it stayed like that until my phone turned off. Right know I am wondering if it has anything to do with my phone. I didn’t think it did, after I read a few reviews I realized that another reviewer had the same problem. From what I have recently discovered I am not sure that it is my phone. If this can be fixed I would enjoy the game a whole lot more. This is a great game and I was wondering if it had anything to do with IOS 11.0. After I looked at the information in the AppStore it stated that it works with IOS 8.0 and up. Like I said this is a good game. 5 star? Definitely! But with the issues I am having it is not as smooth as I feel it should be. I am looking forward to the fix if possible. Game Won’t Load. This used to be one of my top favorite apps. I am addicted to this game even if it is laced with ads and other ways for the developers to try and get your money. It didn’t matter as long as I got to play the game. The animals are beautifully done and so are the backgrounds, great graphics and sounds, the only problem I have now is that the game won’t load. After looking it up online, there are tons of people complaining that with the new update they are now stuck on the loading screen of the dog chasing the deer with the little running orange deer in the corner. I am also stuck on this screen. No matter how long I wait over the past days, the game will not load past the loading screen. I adore this game and I would like to see this fixed. I don’t want to give this game up, it’s too amazingly done.

Mobile game with potential, too money-grubbing. This game is a fun game to play, for a mobile game. But as is the problem with pretty much all free games on the App Store, it’s riddled with just under necessary in-app purchases. Sure, at the beginning, you can get by without paying anything. But with every level you feel just how much you’ll eventually be forced to pay to continue. Developers, please, make this a paid game. A one time purchase on the app-store of like 3 dollars. That way, all these loyal people who have played your games for years get the whole game. One of the lower-tier rifles costs 480 gold. That’s nearly 5 dollars. This game is hardly worth that. Anyone who wants a good hunting game can find it here, if they have a fortune to surrender to it just to progress.

I love the game but there's just two problem. I love this game to death and I play it all day but one sometimes the game literally doesn't want to start up and has me thinking I'm never going to be able to get back on it and I spent a good amount of money on this game. And two please give me the reason why this games latest update was over 1 year ago this is one of you guy's top rated games and it is still the 2018 version and hasn't been updated with events and other new things to keep people playing. This game NEEDS to be updated and payed attention to because it's a great game don't get me wrong just please take note of this review PLEASE.

GLITCHY. So this game was the worst game I have ever played because, I shot a trophy animal in a hunt and when I hit the animal in the heart it ran at me and killed me, even though it showed the death animation. Also you can not play this game without the help of your wallet, this game should be called wallet hunter 2018, I’ve played the previous version and it was way better than this piece of trash, you are stuck at one area in spearfishing if you don’t pay money to buy suits. The weapons cost way too much and to get to a new region you have to unload 20 dollars. In competitive shooting, my shots don’t even count, it literally counted 1/4 of my shots so all in all don’t get this game unless you have money to spend and can be patient enough to stay in the same region for a few months.

Amazing game!. The game is awesome, but I wish I provided more ways to earn money. The graphics are very nice, and I like how some of the animals attack you when you shoot and kill one of their kind. It's funny especially when they jump forwards you in slow motion to try to kill you and you just shoot them. The only thing is the my gun reloads right when one of the animals are trying to get me so I nearly died before my gun had bullets. Actually, I can't get passed one stage because a mature red wolf sneaks up right behind me and there's no way I can kill it! I can't turn around to face it! What the heck?! This is really frustrating and I wasted 5 energy just trying to kill the darn thing!

Pay to win. I think this game is very entertaining which is great but the only issue I have is upgradability. The hunt payouts are just far to low compared to how much we have to spend in order to upgrade our rifles. Per mission I’m getting an average of only $500 when upgrade are $4000. There are many times I just couldn’t move onto the next region simply because I didn’t have enough $ to kill the special animals where I need to get insanely expensive upgrades for my rifle. I know the devs spent a lot of time into this game and they deserve money but I feel like a lot of potential fun is lost by making the game where the player is pressured into paying in order to progress at a normal rate. I still like this game though and it was fun visiting it again!

Horrible connection!! 1/7 of a star!!. With WiFi “game wouldn’t connect” with high speed data alone it couldn’t connect you seriously should fix your servers so we all can enjoy the game what little VERY LITTLE I did get to play was enjoyable but not being able to get on is ridiculous. And it has nothing to do on my end . It is the app it needs to be updated or something I’m honestly going to uninstall it it’s not worth trying to play for an hour . Waitin. That’s why it’s supposed to be a mobile app . On the go anytime anywhere yet I can’t even use it on my WiFi or high speed data . #UNINSTALLED!😬

Best Graphics!. My husband, myself, and our two boys all LOVE playing this game! The graphics are great, the weapons are great, all the different adventures in hunting and fishing are amazing! I have nothing negative to say in my feedback. However, I’m hoping at some time in the future, this very same game with the same graphics and all, will have an added feature of what comes after the hunt. Making an added benefit of learning how to field dress your game animal, filet your fish… things like that. In our home, we teach our kids about hunting for meat, not for trophy’s, as well as how to properly field dress deer and elk. I’m willing to bet there are others that play this game and know nothing of what comes next, and it may be beneficial, or interesting at least, to learn! In summary though, SO MUCH FUN and am most definitely budgeting in a subscription for the kids’ birthdays 😁

The Contoller Support is mixed up.. I have a SteelSeries Nimbus MFi Apple controller. This app has controller support, but it’s all over the place!! When playing the hunting portion of the game, on screen it says that "L2" aims, but really it pauses the game. While on screen it says "B" pauses the game, but actually "B" does nothing. And apparently "Y" aims (I had to figure that out on my own). And while aiming, it says to press "L3" to use the x-ray feature, but really you have to press "L1" to use the x-ray feature. Also, when navigating through the game with the controller, it says something like press "A" to continue, but really "A" does nothing, you have to press the "Menu" button to continue. Pretty much everything seems random when it comes to the controller scheme and what is said on screen. Please fix this ASAP. Thank You.

Long time player. I’ve played this game off and on since it was released. I recently just downloaded it after a couple years of not playing. All I have to say is less is more. After playing the previous versions and now playing this game, I am lost. Totally confused. There are simply wayyyy too many different games to do. Almost all of which take up the same 10 point energy bar. Or they cost gold to play further. Or they require you to play the event and get different kind of coins. Kinda ridiculous and way too tedious. As busy as this game is and as much as it annoys me I would like to see the energy bar lengthened, and for all of the different games to draw from different energy bars. But ONLY energy. Not gold not coins. This game has also become much more ad ridden and practically begs you to pay for everything left and right with real money. It’s just silly. Takes way too long to progress anymore and is simply set up to be confusing it seems like. Used to really like this game. But now it’s mostly a big mess. 2 stars at most. It’s a shame.

Great game. One last thing I wanted to say! You can probably tell I really like this game huh😎 I hear a lot of complaints about the ads! And I’ll admit they are annoying sometimes but how else are we to know about something that’s new?? You can’t turn on your tv or radio or drive down the street without seeing or hearing some sort of advertisement!! You would never know about anything! People are blowing head gaskets about this small little thing!wayyyyyy to serious about a way of life we deal with everyday of our lives!! A little to hard on the developers! Know one ever calls up McDonald’s and tell them to many ads for the dollar meals!! Give em a break guys or simply pay the money to remove them..

Platinum Eagles???. Great game overall but since y’all don’t do events anymore I run out of platinum eagles so much and unlike other game modes, spear fishing does not have an option to use energy to get easy platinum eagles when ur stuff isn’t upgraded enough for real levels. Also it takes platinum eagles to upgrade dogs. Even tho I don’t get any platinum eagles from the “hunting with dogs” area I still need them to upgrade dogs and upgrade/buy bows. There is not a way to get anymore platinum eagles I just have to stop playing.

Wallet Hunter. Deer Hunter has always been a micro transaction bully, but it’s reached new levels in 2018. Sure they’ve added more game modes and features... but that doesn’t change that it’s near impossible to advance through without spending a stupid amount of money. And if you don’t want to spend your’s or your parents hard earned income, why not sign your personal info away for some bogus survey company promises game currency in return? I can’t think of many other games — if any — that are this desperate. Purchasing a rifle that’s only good for 1-2 regions can literally cost around $20 actual USD. At least other games that beg for your money have more interesting, less repetitive content. (Seriously, this game is just shoot the animal over and over again, but with different weapons and scenery).

This game is so hacked. Ok let’s start with the positive of this I love how there are so many places to hunt and the animation and everything but the negative is you can’t trust the fact when your buying gold bars this game doesn’t give you the bars it takes your money but nothing in return I bought gold bars for 7 dollars it was about to give me it but then something popped up and said “a error accrued version” idk but then is said for me to restart so I did and when it loaded again my gold bar wasn’t there and I spent 7 dollars on it and never got anything else this has happened before in a game called “The Wolf” so unless you give me back my money and don’t give the bars that’s fine but I want one of those back!

I would give this zero stars but I can’t. One of the worst games I’ve ever played, only way to succeed playing this game is to dump large amounts of money to upgrade guns gear etc. this game needs a huge fix or make the game cost 5 bucks and have everything in the game be free because it’s just ridiculous I tried my best and downloaded apps for free gold and what not and it still wasn’t enough to even get past a few regions and I mean I downloaded a ton of apps and got a ton of gold over 100k in gold and it still wasn’t enough and the game glitches sometimes you don’t even get your gold also the customer service was HORRIBLE worst game I ever played in my entire life this company should be sued and or taking off the App Store because I feel bad for all the people they are taking advantage of while making tons of money and not even making a better cheaper game. I’ll stick with call of duty. Thanks and beware.

Most Desperate Game Ever. Single most ad-filled “desperate for 10 year old’s parent’s money” game I’ve ever played. Other than of course every other Deer Hunter game they’ve made. Decently slow as well. Every 30 seconds you are either viewing an ad (fixable of course for a small fee), or you’re attempting to get a new weapon only to find out the only way to purchase a weapon in the entire beginner’s region range is to use gold which is only acquired through in-app-purchases. I understand the game is designed specifically targeting people attempting to get ahead from the beginning by spending their parents money on a $5 “starter pack” available of course for the first 30 minutes of gameplay because that’s when people are most prone to purchase things. Followed by a close second of people who have somehow either dumped money or fought their way through ads and SOMEHOW acquired a decent enough weapon through REQUIRED upgrades rather than just suffering during the hunt due to your porter quality of weapon. Buyer beware you’re getting into a trap. If ads and frustration are your thing, then you’re on the right track.

Amazing game. I love it, right now I am on region 7, and the AR hunting mode is super fun and it’s pretty easy to get hunter bucks but it is almost impossible to get gold if you don’t want to buy it yourself you have to take surveys and stuff for small amounts of gold, and you can’t buy ARs with hunter bucks so you either have to buy gold or spend an hour and a half doing surveys. You also have to upgrade a lot of stuff and spend hundreds of thousands of hunter bucks for what seems to be no reason

Great overall, but I have an issue. I’ve been playing this game for a while with periods of breaks in between, and I love every aspect of the game, but in order to advance in the dog hunts and spear fishing, I need platinum eagles, and in order to get those I need to enter CTS tournaments. Here’s where the issue comes into play. It says I have not unlocked the CTS tournaments yet, but I am already in region 20 and far pass any requirements needed to unlock the tournaments. So I am currently at a stalemate with dog hunting and spear fishing until this issue gets resolved.

Fun and addicting. I play hunting games every now and then and this one by far is the best one I've played on mobile, all the events as well as the upgrade system makes players to play them all so you can play every type of firearm as well as have some variety to an otherwise repetitive type game. I would have given it a 5 star but I ran into a problem with one of the events where you hunt themed animals to build and win a specific firearm of the season in where the game locks up and progression is halted because of it. But it's minor enough that I still love and enjoy the game

Money Down a rathole. I have been playing this game for years and years. I was even interviewed by their research people for over an hour. Last year I would have given this game a nine if I could have. I have lost so much money (real money) on this game. They will never give a refund or credit you for it. I have wasted so much money on this game. It used to be a good game. Now you can not play it just quits for no reason. They said it was my internet connection causing it to freeze all the time. But I play far more sophisticated and complicated games with no problems. I have bought new routers, updated my internet all to no good.

DO NOT INSTALL. This game has the potential to be great. However, you have to earn silver coins to play over half of the game. The silver coins can only be earned through competitive shooting and events. You’re supposed to gain access to those very early in the game. However, what they don’t tell you is that both of those game modes are NO LONGER AVAILABLE. If you contact Customer Support, they claim that they don’t know why it’s happening and they’ll look into it. After that, they’ll respond again with “Thank you for your patience. We’re still looking into it.” every couple days. But it’s a lie. They’re not looking into it and it’s not available. The app itself should be removed. I won’t install anything else from these creators because of the level of dishonesty I’ve experienced with them. And it’s happened to others as well. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS APP!!!! It’s a scam.

Great game, but……. The fact you have to upgrade your weapon every other hunt is agitating. Depending on the game mode, you can only purchase upgrades with coins or gold bars. If you don’t have a certain amount(Which a couple hundred or thousand is usually required) you’ll have to pay actual currency to acquire. It says you can watch videos to earn gold or energy, yet it says there aren’t any ads available, so that option pretty much doesn’t work. Along with upgrading your weapon, it doesn’t make sense how you can max out a certain component of your weapon yet it’ll still require an upgrade to complete the hunt. And in order to get a new weapon, majority of the time you’ll have to pay with the coins and or gold bars and not the cash you earn, which I personally think makes no sense. I’ve also read in other reviews that items you purchase with actual currency will often disappear and customers won’t hear anything from support on the matter. That right there is what makes me reluctant to put any actual money into this game. Great game in terms of versatility, but the issues I have are all listed above. I’d like to see changes made since I enjoy this game so much.

Fun, but one a couple problems.. I love this game in all, but their is just one problem. Every time I don’t play the game for a few days and I go back to the app, it will load then after it loads... the game will send me back to my home screen. Then I have to go back into the app and let it load again. FINALLY, it will take me to my lobby. But then after I do one hunt and I try to do another hunt... it sends me back to my home screen!!! I SWEAR it’s not my iPad because I have another hunting game that doesn’t do that. if I play the game one day and play it the next day, it will load take me to my lobby and after I do my hunt... it will still take me back to my home screen!!! It’s SO annoying and the editors NEED to fix this. A couple more things, they need to add hunting blinds and deer feeders. It makes NO sense that you do a hunt and stand out in the open. In real life, the animals would run before you could get a chance to raise your rifle. Also they need to add real names to guns. For example 243 Winchester instead of something like Westin spire. The editors need to fix all of this now.

Does this happen to anybody else?. So I was just playing and something that said something about an event popped up and it said if I wanted to check it out or not, of course I said yes, except as soon as pressed yes, it took me to the lobby, there was a yellow glow around the events option, I pressed it and it said the event or tournament wasn’t available, so I pressed ok. There was one problem though, as soon as I pressed ok, the yellow glow was still around the events button, I pressed the event button over and over again but it just kept doing the exact same thing, I tried to uninstall the game and reinstall it but it didn’t change anything, now I can’t play the game. If you guys see this can you please fix it?

Tips to maybe help. I honestly have had no problems with the game other than most of the time I will get adds where they are upside down, and adds are annoying anyway so you should make less of them so we have a better hunting experience. Other then that I have had no problem. One thing tho is that you should add a Montana to like stage 10 or something because I can not find a Montana on here. And besides Montana is an amazing state so I do not understand why we do not get recognized for most stuff. So just add a Montana and fix the add thing and we should be ok. (Thanks for reading this I would appreciate it if you would take the time to do a couple things to make the game better it would be very much appreciated thanks).

Too many glitches. The game has so many glitches. The game freezes after just one action in Historical Hunts. The special events like “Undead Realms” don’t work. It’s been saying there’s a new region in Rod Fishing mode but it’s been stuck on region 7 for months. When you contact customer service they just keep sending a generic response that simply suggests that your internet speed is too slow, basically blaming the glitches on you. My internet connection and speed is fine btw. They’ve asked me for screenshots and videos to show the glitches, which I’ve done, and asked me to include a ticket/claim number which they provided, but the email responses I’ve received all reference a different ticket number. They have no clue what they’re doing or simply don’t care. The game was once fun a long time ago, but nowadays it’s simply frustrating.

Rip-Off. So graphics game play all great. That’s the only reason it got 1 star rating. So the changed the pistol competition every so often as I found out after contacting them. No big deal, unless like me you spend money to get packages to upgrade. Well they change you lose your stuff, and more-less start all over. So the actual cash you spent is for lack of better words is flushed down the toilet. So to get very far in just about every aspect of the game you have to spend money. So as I expressed myself, I felt robbed. So don’t get this game. It will cost you more than you expect, because at a point it’s practically unplayable. This game sticks by the in-app purchase it’s the only way to get through all facets of the game and then they’ll just change take your money, your stuff and then tell you to buy more. Scam artist, I deleted the game.

Developers are difficult to work with. I have reached out to tech support for about a month trying to get the coins, guns and level reinstated on a new iPad. I have yet to get anyone to cooperate. I was told to send them screen shots of receipts but the in-game mail client will not accept attachments even though there is a camera there. Second, when asked how to restore previous game data, no one has given me any feed back on how to restore game data. When I figured out I could log into the game using my Apple ID it’s storing game data from the new iPad and the beginning. This is a nightmare to say the least. Third, support appears to be very apologetic yet unwilling or unable to help he resolve my issue. I’ve asked them to just tell me if they are unwilling to help and I will move on. As of this review I reopened my case with a second request for assistance to once again see if I GET HELP. I guess I’m good enough of a customer to buy in game packages but not a good enough customer to restore what I lost because of a broken iPad.

Love this game, but I have an idea. This is so fun! So I have an idea... QUAILS. And crouching, so you can get closer to prey, like moose, deer, and the other non hostile ( until you provoke it, by shooting, like moose ). And for the historical hunts, like we have dogs, how about you CHASE the prey on horses. The better your horse is, the faster it is. This is just an idea, you don’t need to do it. Oh and another idea could be trapping. I would love to have trapping. And bait hunts. Trapping would be a game of chance. You might get a raccoon, bobcat, even a wolf. And with bait hunts. You sit up in a tree stand, over bait. The first bait you would start out with would be corn, then raccoon bait, deer bait, best bait, and more. You don’t need to add ANY of these things, but. If you do, I think more people would join. ( note, I would also like if we could have rut season, where it multiplayer, and so you don’t shoot each other, you where bright orange. And with that as an idea, how about genders. So like if you wanna be a girl in multiplayer, you can. And also, customizing. So you can be a guy with dread locks, or a lady with bright orange short bob. Same with all my other ideas, you don’t need to do it.)

Great game, but a little buggy.. As the title says, this game is great but it is pretty buggy. The most common one being random error codes that can sometimes completely boot you out of the game and leave you confused as to what the problem was. Other times it tells me my session timed out, this one is the most common I’ve noticed as it can appear randomly at any time. Sometimes I’ll have 40 energy and I can play the full length without any glitches, other times I can barely do two hunts. Aside from that, other glitches are actually pretty humorous so if anything they should stay simply because of it providing more of a challenge but in the wrong way lol. I’d give this game a 5/5 if not for the error messages but either way it’s a great hunting game, especially for one on the phone!

LOOKS great, BUT it plays like’a 5 year old set it up.... If You like hunting games, You’ll most likely HATE this. It has awesome photo realistic graphics, runs smoothly, has lots of guns, modes (You have to unlock), even controls quite well with even touchscreen... So why is it bad?!? Because ALL of the hunts last like 10-15 seconds (after a 20-30 second loading screen in, & another 5-10 second one to get back to menus), so You’ll spend twice as much time in loading screens as actually playing, & no I’m not kidding about the times... of My 1st 10 missions I completed 9 of them spawned Me with 3-4 prey animals within 10-30 FEET of Me, they also didn’t run away when I shot the ones next to them... the last one the mission calls for a shotgun, & spawns You with roughly 8 deer running in a group in a line crossing literally 15 feet in front of You, & if You didn’t kill enough of them, they disappear, & respawn for more “run-bys”. Now MAYBE this game has LONG, walk around for hours to hunt, actual “hunting”, but I doubt it... I uninstalled it already, & considering how “unfun” the stuff it forces You to play through to even think about unlocking other content is, I doubt I’ll ever consider playing it again. I have a 25 year old deer hunter game on PC that’s more fun, & way more realistic.

Abandoned. I played this game many years ago and even purchased a halloween gun because I thought it was so fun lol, however currently coming back to the game its clear it’s been dropped by the developers or they simply can’t bother with it anymore which is unfortunate. Tournaments, which you need to get a certain currency to upgrade in certain aspects of the game, have been down for months with no sign of coming back. This also means new players who try to get into the game can’t because it requires you to check out all the tabs, including tournaments, which results in an endless loop of “check out the tournaments!” But you physically can’t and cannot progress anymore into the game. Currently I wouldn’t recommend this game with the lack of support, I wouldn’t put it past it to just be dropped off the appstore sometime honestly.

What Glu Tech Support Admitted Is Shameful. I submitted an inquiry into why I was ineligible to participate in the CTS (tournament) challenges. Tech Support responded that that is no longer a game function that’s being supported. When I pushed with why it’s a required daily challenge then if it’s not a game function then, their reply was absolutely disgusting and included below. Essentially what they’re saying is it’s an old game and they have no intention of correcting existing issues. Furthermore, they have no problem fixing a game but intend of continuing a flawed product as long as it’s generating money for them. This game is incredibly fun but I will not support any Glu games due to this. It’s shameful and everyone should be aware of what their priorities are. “We understand that you have an inquiry about the Competitive Target Shooting in the game. Let us address this for you. Deer Hunter is one of the older games that no longer receives new content releases or updates. Unfortunately, it is also very unlikely to anticipate any changes in hardware or operating systems. Nevertheless, I will have your interests recorded.”

Advertising. Currently you can’t close your blackjack advertising app that pops up during deer hunter. Good game happy to cop some advertising and micro transaction advertising but shouldn’t have to force close an app to get out of forced advertising..... doubt you are that broke yet.

Love this game but... This is a great game, one of my favourites but every time the internet drops out, even for a few seconds that’s it!!, you lose your last gameplay earnings, your energy and if you watched an ad you lose the gold or energy you earned watching it. Very annoying.

Clever game with various surprises. I have to admit that this is the only game on my iPad that I have been playing for a very long time. It has great technical and graphical features and has variety of missions. You can still play it for free if you're patient enough. 😄

Bit repetitive. I was initially hooked playing this game but now after reaching region 13 it’s a bit repetitive. Game progress is slow as the cost to upgrade the rifles increases. There was also a strange bug where I click the hunt button and it would drain 1 energy point but didn’t do anything else. Only happened once.

Can’t play. I have recently reinstalled deer hunter 2018 and all my progress has saved and my level but when the game loads it only allows me to play events and now the events is locked so I can’t play anything. Please tell me how to fix this if there is a way to fix it.

Pay to play. So while this is a free game, that only lasts a short time before you need to spend cash. Only source of platinum currency is from packs or the once a month event. Some small amounts are earned getting stars, but only a fraction of what’s needed. Rods, scuba suits, spear guns and the weapons for dog hunts all require this currency to purchase and then upgrade. Get you hooked on the game and then make it impossible without real life spending. Also their support is a joke. Given daily tasks of things I’d already completed and when messaged about said problem, a week later they reply ‘take a screenshot’. Seriously?!

3300 Gold for $47 what a joke. This game is a huge con, in the shop you can buy 3300 gold for $47, that will buy you 3 rifles, not including the upgrades required to complete 3 regions. There are 42 regions so assuming that the rifles don’t get more expensive as you move up the regions it would cost $658 to buy all the required rifles to play the game. There is also advertising in game which you can’t skip and limited energy so you have to buy more to play. What a joke.

Great game but.... Look don’t get me wrong. There are a couple bugs and other things. 1. Ads I am sick of ads. I hop into the game and am bombarded with ads and many of them are the same. 2. Aiming glitch When aim often the sights will teleport to the other side of the screen and it’s annoying. 3. Doing hunts does not make enough money. When I’m doing the fishing part I am barely making enough money to upgrade my rod or even buy a new one. Rifle hunts don’t make enough money either. Crashes constantly. Half way through a hunt this app crashes on iOS. Be cautious

Kicks you out and false hit. Sometimes when I play spearfishing it will say ‘session times out’. When I play shotgun i will hit a bear as it’s attacking me and I WILL hit it, but it won’t register. I die and loose 10 warmth’s or 1 energy

Forced Update. I can not start game - it says I must do a forced update and I have the most recent version. It does not get me passed that pop up.

Nothin very special. The fact that u cant even play without wifi is random... Also its nearly impossible to get an assault rifle without paying real $$$. Awesome game but need some fixing. This game is awesome and I play it everyday but the money and gold needs to be fixed and also the game hasn’t had an update in a year and there are still bugs and issues that make the experience worse than you’d expect. The energy is another huge problem because this game has so many micro transactions that it’s so hard to not click it so you can have a lot of energy bars to continue to play the game. I find that unfair by only giving 10 bars per day, it should be at least 20 bar per day or 50 bars per day to prevent any micro transactions. PLEASE EXPLAIN AND FIX THIS PROBLEM!

So why does those kinda online events doesnt exist anymore cause it you use to .. feel like the one who produced the game drop the ball on it but you can still pay 7$ a month for a pack thats not reaaly fair ..

🤮🤮. If you are a hunter and enjoy hunting, avoid this steaming pile of garbage. Zero skill involved, just point and shoot nonsense. Literally the animal is standing in front of you and you point and shoot. Hunting terrible, fishing terrible, spear fishing terrible…… garbage with advertisements and pay to play crap.

Not Worth It. This game was fun but there’s so many cons with this app.. Events won’t work hasn’t worked for almost 2 years now. Then after each Historic Hunt it freezes and you have no choice but to restart the app and hope it works the next time (but it never does). Clearly it’s not getting fixed and customer service is honestly useless. Tech support really doesn’t care. You can’t go very far without paying real $$ and everything is so expensive it’s hard playing and moving up when you don’t really wanna spend money on games let alone ones that barely work. They offer you to watch an ad to speed up upgrade time, but the button doesn’t even let you click it and on top of that, the little things they tell you to do to get free gold like surveys? It’s lies, you have to make a purchase on almost any one you choose. I restarted my phone I forget how many times and it still did it. Got a new phone and thought to maybe give it a second chance and still was doing the same thing.

The Single Most Pay-to-Play Game in the App Store. Look, I understand an app like fortnite which offers cosmetic upgrades if you pay the game a bit more money. I also understand the occasional ad for a free game. This app fails on both of these fronts. Unlike near every other annoying ad filled app I’ve played, this one will never give you a rest. If you let the app sit for 30 seconds, you’ll be bombarded with ads and “offers”, not to mention that after doing anything you’re guaranteed at least 3 ads. In addition, the multiplayer is hilariously, hysterically awful. If you want to compete in this game, be prepared to spend $60+. Or get yourself a decent game for $5.

Overall game play. The game is alright. It used to be great but when I lost my phone and had to get a new one and redownloaded the game, I finished all required task for the cts tournament and have been waiting for over a year now for customer service to tell me why I can’t play. They’ve been saying that they are diligently working to fix the issue but it’s been over a year and nothing. Need the eagle coins to continue with other parts of the game and can’t get them because y’all can’t seem to fix the issue. I want to rate it more than 1 start but until we get cts tournaments back I can’t bring myself to give it more than one star

Awesome but can be incredibly expensive. This game is huge in terms of content. It’s a grind to collect items & Regions. If you’re patient it’s a great game to pass time and there’s always something to do. That being said, throwing real money at this game is pointless. Unless you absolutely need to have that dream gun, I advise against it. You could dump hundreds if not thousands of dollars on this to unlock everything. Don’t get sucked into the money pit and enjoy the grind for what it is...I’ve put many hours into this game without spending a penny.

Good game, buuut!. So the game itself is awesome, other then the constant error that occurs during the pvp mode. I’ve won many tournaments and an error occurs and I don’t get my rewards, don’t get my rank, and have to start over on more then 3 occasions. I’ve gone from a level 2 rank to a level 10 literally in a matter of seconds due to the multiple errors had. Please fix the bug. As I am getting to the point where I’m going to stop playing Bc I can’t build my weapons or anything due to this problem. It’s a fun game don’t get me wrong, but if I can’t progress through the game Bc of many errors on yalls end, what’s the point?

Greatest but too expensive. This is the best hunting game I’ve ever played but to enjoy it the most you would have to spend hundreds of dollars maybe thousands (of your actual real life money)unless you are willing to spend countless hours doing the shotgun hunts to make money and even if you are you still have to use gold coins to get the more desirable weapons. I would rather just pay the cost of a PlayStation game up front or be able to buy the gold coins way cheaper for ten times the amount

Love the game. I really love this game the only thing is I wish the guns for new regions weren’t so expensive like I’ve had this game for about a week and I’m on region three(for gunning) and the sniper I need is 15k so all I can do is play the shotgun mode or the other game modes but they barely give any money. But all negativity aside I really enjoy playing it’s the graphics are awesome the hunts are fun and this is a great game when I’m just chilling. Also I wish the fishing mode wasn’t just you catching a fish as soon as you cast.

BUY NOW. Honestly when I first got this game I thought it was gonna be trash but it is the ultimate hunting game not much gore if you are sensitive to that one thing I think could be added is bird hunting like ducks or quails (this game is perfect as it is I understand this may be hard to add so no pressure) I love animals and hunting witch makes me wonder how but this game is so dam good I hardly have been on Roblox since I got it anyway down load now awesome game also my Roblox user is Guam_chicken

Amazing game. I love it, right now I am on region 7, and the AR hunting mode is super fun and it’s pretty easy to get hunter bucks but it is almost impossible to get gold if you don’t want to buy it yourself you have to take surveys and stuff for small amounts of gold, and you can’t buy ARs with hunter bucks so you either have to buy gold or spend an hour and a half doing surveys. You also have to upgrade a lot of stuff and spend hundreds of thousands of hunter bucks for what seems to be no reason

Pay To Play. As the title said, you basically just can’t really go far. The game will hold you through time playing little missions where you make barely any money when you’re starting off. You could go ahead and buy the best rifle available but it doesn’t matter, you’ll still have to play all 30 missions and some to get enough money for upgrading to clear the first region. I’m sure with this game being out years that the people have been known. But if you’re stumbling upon this looking to play it for a first time? Save your time. Because from the very get go, you don’t get a fair experience unless you’re willing to spend at LEAST $25-50

Amazing. I love hunting games and this one is one of the best the graphics are great the movement is great on the animals and being able to swap guns when hunting is great I also know some games that you need energy to hunt will have 10/10 then you can’t get anymore but you get extra energy that’s what I love the only thing I would change are there are not any female deer only males I think it would more realistic to add female deer but over all great game.

Soooo Many Different Ways to Keep You Engaged!. I've been playing this series for several years now and I have to say, it's come along way. It has certainly upped the ante from my days of playing duck hunt(I've aged myself here).lol... At first I hated that it took so long and costs so much to upgrade and purchase weaponry; but I've gotten around that. I've succumbed to purchasing only one IAP so I could get rid of the ads... So far so good on that. This game keeps me engaged and in this day in age of instant gratification, it's good for me.

A few suggestions for this game. First of all I wanna say that I love this game so much and care about those other people who have terrible iPads. I wanna give some suggestions for this game though. I want the historical characters (James Cole, Micheal Cole, Scott Cole) to look different depending on what they are wearing. For example, let’s say James Cole is wearing Hard Clothing, it should make his picture look different. You should really add Horses. I would love to see Horses Galloping in the world of Deer Hunter! If you do not know that much Horse Breeds, I will show some now. 1.American Quarter Horse 2.Mustang 3.Clydesale 4.Thoroughbred 5.Shetland Pony 6.Exmoor Pony 7.Freisian I would also like for you to add more historical Dogs. There are only 3 for James Cole (I don’t know if it is the same for Micheal and Scott because I did not get to them yet.) Other than that, this game is simply awesome. Losing Progress? DEAL WITH IT

Trouble timing out.. I’m having a lot of trouble with the game timing out especially after making a purchase or upgrade. It’s very frustrating because it than cost me money money or gold which I then have to use again after it restarts. It’s becoming very frustrating. I hope there is a way to resolve this matter I have been playing this game loyally since the very first edition. If there is a way to get the gold or money back that would be extremely awesome, and I would be very grateful.

What would be better. Dear deer hunter 2018, I think I have some ideas for more downloads, My first idea is fully automatic guns, the m134 mini gun or those fully automatic ARs with straight magazines or drum magazines, My next idea is stand shooting with you shooting out of a deer stand, My third idea is multiplayer shooting, you have friends to add and you can hunt with them, My last idea is throwing knifes for power ups like the hollow shot and the energy drink with you can deal the damage with a animal

How is this supposed to be enjoyable. You stand in one place with the animals directly in front of you, zoom in and shoot. Again and again and again and again and again. Once you’ve done one mission you’ve played the whole game. There’s no challenge present. You don’t track the game. The animals really barely move which is absurd considering that it appears that the hunter that represents you is only a matter of yards away from the animal. It’s hard to miss when by default the end of the barrel of your gun is pressed firmly to the head of your target. I really wanted a decent mobile simulated hunting experience. That’s really far from what we have here.

Update. For the last month or so Deer Hunter want update on my IPhone 6s it gets to the loading screen and says get new version when you click on it takes you to the App Store click open it takes you back to the loading screen. It want update to the new version I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and no luck can you help with this. Deer Hunter is an awesome game would rate a 5 but till the issue is fixed I will give it a 3.

frustrated. it’s a fun app! But when you complete a region and start a new one, it’s expensive to get the new gun it requires! 🤬 so far, each region you have to get a new gun. You spend all the money and gold on the previous gun for the previous region that when you switch to a new region, you have to wait to get more money and get that gun it’s requires. And those guns that you already own and spent so much money on, don’t get used again 👿 and sometimes regions or the game does not want to load unless I am connected to WiFi

Little bummed right now. Great game, perfect to kill a little time. But today I tried to play it and is said network error. I tried again. Same thing. I have full service, my Netflix and Facebook apps work just fine. I restart my phone and try again. Same thing. I haven’t played it yet since. The little deer in the corner running, just runs and runs and runs, but nothing happens. I let it sit for 10 minutes tapping the screen so my phone won’t turn off. Aaaand nothing still.

Attention others. The game is absolutely amazing possibly one of the best first person mobiles I’ve played. Although there are a few bugs because in region 5 shotgun hunting I get attacked from the back and there is nothing to do about it. So I just wanted to say to the others who are playing this, just be prepared and the developers are probably still working on a few other bugs in the game. And this is why I wanted to tell you to just give a bit of a warning. But it’s still quite fun.

Off Topic. This game is great, I love how much more it has to offer with the fishing, spear fishing, and even the upgrades. It’s very well put together but the one thing I can’t quite get across my mind is the tiers, in one tear your supposedly in Colorado hunting zebras and elephants and then in Wyoming your hunting giraffes. It’s off topic from the places that it’s supposed to originate around and I find it annoying. This is something they really should have though about being that they’re putting you in different places. I feel like they change the scenery but not the animals.

Needs Some Work.. I like the game and everything, although I do agree with some reviews. Needs new scenery and less repetition. There are a few bugs as well, at least on the application for my phone. I was spear fishing and a shark was coming at me. I kept hitting the spear button but it did nothing and I was attacked. I had almost all the fish I needed for a star. Another example, I was doing the shot gun series shooting bears and the bears would attack me from where I couldn’t point my gun. It was irritating. Other than that, everything has been okay.

It’s Free?!?!?!?. One of my favorite games since I had my old iPod touch, and the 2018 version (which was similar to the one on Facebook that got shut down) has incredible graphic and so many different game modes to get lost in (I’m a big fan of throwing in customizable dogs into the mix). I still can’t believe this game is free, not including the in-game purchases which so far haven’t interferes with the regular campaigns. 10/10 would recommend to anyone procrastinating. Probably shouldn’t be playing this rn tbh.

THE GAME WONT LOAD!!!. The game won't load the first thing it wants you to go on. Which is Events. So I won't be able to play the game at all! Please fix this problem! The last Deer Hunter game I've played was the first Deer Hunter that you could have dogs. I can't remember what year it was though. That might be the problem, but I'm not sure. Please fix this problem. Please! It loads the menu, but it puts a glowing orange square around the Events box. The Events box shows that it is downloading. However, it will never change any of its numbers. The numbers it's stuck on are 6.20 or something megabytes. No matter how long I'm on it. It never changes a number ever! Please fix this! I want to play Deer Hunter once more!

Great but glitchy. Fun game. Yes it can be repetitive as others have mentioned. Earning gold that you need to advance is impossible without spending lots of money. I don’t mind spending money, I have a gaming budget. But the real reason for my low star rating is simply this. The game is glitchy. It freezes all the time. I just played 10 pvp matches in elite arena and stayed at level 3 the whole time even though I was winning. The game keeps freezing at the end of the match with the error message, “sorry something went wrong”. Really!!!??? Come on developers. Please fix. I simply won’t waste my game budget on glitchy games. You’ll get your 5 stars and my cash when you fix this.

Great game!!. This is an AMAZING game. If you hunt or like hunting program/TV shows then this is a good game for you. It’s simple yet in some ways challenging. But the developers can still add more stuff or make a new app. I will admit that this game dose not have the FULL hunting experience and if you ask me the age rating is a bit on the high side but I do enjoy the variety of game modes. As a hunter though I would like blinds/tree stands to add a bit more of the wonder of hunting. All in all still a great game

BEWARE. BEWARE Don’t spend your money on this game. The development team knew of a existing problem, and didn’t share with the players. You basically have to spend money to upgrade your event pistols. So that you can upgrade the class which gives you attachments. Like 3 shot burst, and fully automatic fire. The upgrade for class 2 and above does not work. With that said. They tell you in the rules/how to play button that you need to upgrade to be competitive. Knowing that you will spend close to $125 per gun, and there is 3 of them. They take your money and wait until you contact them to say oh yeah we already knew this. Here’s $4.50 of gold for your inconvenience. Beware they are crooks.

Better Interface. The interface is better and easier to use. The ads are not overwhelming and it is easy to play without tricking us out of money. Also it is easier to level up and I love how the energy now can go about 10 so you are not losing energy when you level up. I have been playing for a week now and I have yet to get bored, which is saying a lot.

Good game with a few flaws.... I love this game! It is very enjoying to play. However there are a few flaws. Honey badgers and bison should be aggressive, while red wolves and coyotes should not. I’m having some trouble with the price of things. If you could lower the amount of money or gold you need to buy a gun or whatever, I would appreciate it! Some animals are in places they should not be, and finally, WHY ARE THERE NO FEMALE ANIMALS??!!!! Other than that, this game is a WONDERFUL game, and I definitely recommend it. Best hunting game on the App Store!. This is by far the best hunting game I’ve played. I’ve tried many different others, including the previous deer hunter games from this developers. I love all the new hunting features, I love collecting the dogs, diving underwater, and fishing from a beautiful lake. There really isn’t much more that can be added, but there if there was to be more, I could only think of falconry. Similar to the hunting with dogs, but this time hunting with eagles, falcons, owls, hawks etc. It’s a dying trade, but I think it would be really cool to play that!

Literally Unplayable. I played for a few days and enjoyed it at first because it allowed you to do several different things while you wait for the energy for other modes to charge back up. But I keep running into the same problem... the game continuously pops up an error message mid game and makes you reset the game in order to play again. This is not simply bad connection considering I only play when I’m connected to my 50Mbps wireless. Other than that the game is based around micro transactions just to play the most entertaining parts of it! It looks amazing but the disconnection issues and the pay to progress aspect absolutely ruin it.

Amazing but flawed. I love the deer hunter games. I remember having Deer Hunter 2014 and seeing the beautiful graphics and stunning music and sounds. That game doesn’t suffer from the same thing as this game though. This game is even more enjoyable and a crap more regions but they all have the same problem. When you are on a shotgun or AR hunt the aggressive animals can attack you from behind and you can’t kill them. I have wasted loads of energy on those hunts. I still love the game and only encountered that one little problem. Good job and keep up the good work guys.

Annoying ads!!!. The game is great, when I get bored with one mode, there’s other types of missions to work on, and the holiday events are very cool!!! However I am SICK TO DEATH of ads with sound! I play the game where I cannot have sound. So when I have my phone set to silent and it asks if I would like to watch a video for energy or gold? The FASTEST WAY TO GET ME TO SHUT DOWN THE APP AND STOP PLAYING are those video adds with SOUND!!!! Especially that annoying deodorant commercial with NO MUTE BUTTON!!!! I shut down the game EVERY TIME that starts!!!!

Femme fatale. This game would have received 5 stars, but due to its far-too-frequent glitches, I cannot fairly award those. Yes, it is a fun game with a variety of hunts and scenery. BUT...it often has trouble loading (and please don’t blame the WiFi as my Apple TV and SiriusXM operate just fine during the same moment as do other apps on my phone). Another frustrating issue I’ve encountered is the game hanging up once one has pressed the hunt button. Of course, once the hunt button is pressed, an energy bolt is used, but this is when the hunt fails to engage (and the energy bolt is lost for good). Otherwise, I enjoy playing when DH2018 operates, sans glitches.

Newest update crashes. Continues to lock up on fishing section and can not get out to other areas. Unplayable. Totally junk. DH 2018 crashes and locks up just as DH 2017 did on last update. Unplayable. Continues to crash on opening. Still unplayable. Latest update still make DH 2017 unplayable. Total lock up of game. Latest fishing update causes program to crash and lock up requiring a full shut down to get out of the lock up and use any other program. 2015 games was better, better graphics and far less expensive. Watch out for the "View Offers" to get free gold, it's a scam. No gold is ever provided. Game is almost impossible to advance without spending vast amounts of $. Newest update, June 2016, crashes and will not open. Latest update 2/17 crashes to a white screen with total lock out. Latest update, which I was forced to do, crashes every time video is watched to get more gold. Totally locked up game and I'm forced to restart my iPad to clear the lockup. Game is basically unplayable now.

Annoying. I was enjoying the game. Dollar amounts are ridiculous. I made it all the way to level 24 without making a single purchase. Now there is an error that occurs every time I play a round and it restores me back to where I was. Also, the game is repetitive. Animals come from the same places on each region. You have to upgrade your weapon every region. Why would I need to keep upgrading and it's still just a double barrel shotgun. Stupid game design just geared towards a cheap buck. Annoying that the error won't let me finish. Also, they added fishing and forced me to play that before I could move on in hunting.

Won’t load!. I have asked the customer service to assist me in fixing the issues with this game and they just tell me it will get worked out. They offer no troubleshooting besides a thanks for letting us know or telling me that it is the device I am using that is causing the problems. Let’s not forget to mention the over two weeks of response time for a reply. I would love to continue to play this game but if the regions can’t be loaded then I cannot take part in the events which is a huge fun part of the game. Bottom line is that I was a fan of this game and now I am not! Waste of time!

Great game with some glitches. Very fun to play, lots of content for a mobile game. Spear fishing, fishing, hunting, hunting with dogs that you train and level up. The “events” are impossible to rank in. I spent 4 hours per day trying to get rank high enough to get gold etc. No chance. Sometimes I cannot play because the game will not load and has to download the content, but will not finish. You can complete offers like playing other games to get gold if you don’t wanna spend money, which is actually nice.

A nice break from the ptw scene. I’m fairly new to the game but right off the bat I noticed it was very easy to build your gold stash. Watching videos for gold adds up fast. Buying energy with this gold is earned back by the videos u have the option of watching after each mission. There are plenty of missions and other things to do to stay busy. Heck u can even rod or spear fish, can’t beat that. U can spend money but I havnt at all and am having a good time and staying busy. Happy hunting all.

AWSOME Gamplay. Game is amazing. it has beautiful Graphics and is all around amazing . I love the massive selection of guns from Pistols to Hunting Rifles . And if you guys ever change the loading screen music I will be mad! but hey I’m sure you won’t ( Just warning you XD) Anyways I love the event guns they are really cool. And I like how you can switch to any gun you want like you use an Machine Gun in a Shotgun Hunt. It really nice to have that. But anyways I hope you guys keep working hard and have fun doin it!

Pretty good. Ok so the only thing I don’t like about this is that you can move around except for left or right. Maybe have the player spawn in a sweat in area and all we have is your weopon and binoculars. Maybe put a couple does and a small buck or a big buck or maybe just one big buck or small buck. We can go very far and we have a map that shows us where it most likely is at.(This is the opinion of a 12 year old btw)That’s pretty much it but what I’m trying to say is I want a hunter call of the wild type game.

This game is fine with me. Started the game they had a competition every 2 weeks or so. So, if your really are stuck where you have to pay for something it doesn’t matter I’m in first in one at the moment about to make 50$ worth of gold I’m totally fine with the game development if you want something better buy a console this is very good for a hunting phone game and is compatible with older devices very well done and fair to the user and there’s many different things you can do besides hunting love it great job

For moneybags only!. This is a pretty fun game. Enjoyed it for a little while but it gets expensive really quickly. When you get past the first few regions there is absolutely no way to advance without shelling out some serious money. I’m not talking a couple of dollars here and there either. This game would take a lot of money if you want to continue. Done waste the download. All these guys want is to dip their hands in your pockets deep and often!!!

I play this game since it came out I also play the classic but it's a shame that they don't update it or that they don't take out version 24 it stayed in 2018 I think the game needs better some damages and a new update. Compared to the current graphics of new games this one is left behind it's a shame 🫤 whatever I want I give it 5 stars one of the best games in my opinion of 2018 and backwards. but it's not the same anymore 🙁

Double Gold. This game is a really fun and time consuming. But with the recent double gold coming out for the offers of playing games, watching trailers, and signing up for things. I downloaded a game and played it to game recommended level, (Coin Dozer LV 10 or so). I’m not level 27 in this game and it had came up on the DH screen that I had earned the 600+ gold that I earned but later loading in it was gone. I had the same amount of gold I had since before the double gold. I’ve reset as well as uninstalled and my gold still has not showed up. Would be nice to have I back. It was needed since everything gold wise is expensive.

Attacking Predators. This is a great game, but whenever I go on predator hunts on the shotgun series a predator will run by and go off screen to where I can no longer shoot at it. I will continue shooting at others on screen and one predator will come up behind me to far over and I can’t shoot at it and it kills me. I once had a mountain lion jump through a mountain and killed me that was too far off screen. I’m sure this is just a way to get users to use more energy and keep coming back to play the game, but it needs to be fixed.

The grind is real. Upgrades cost so much more money than they are worth. The first few regions expect you to keep upgrading and the only way you can grind the cash is through shot gun runs. And then when you get to a new region, the new weapons costs 2-3x what you earn from the last trophy set, so you have to keep grinding. It wouldn’t be a problem if they adding rifle hunts like with shotguns, because the constant upgrading is making it really hard to enjoy this game. I want to keep playing but it takes forever to upgrade. This game is definitely pay to win.

Great game!! One problem... Deer Hunter 2018 is highly addictive! I love playing this game in my free time, it’s very amusing and i recommend it. My only issue is whenever trying to complete a shotgun contract in region 3 that involve red wolves or wild boards, sometimes they come from behind or the side where you can’t see them no matter where you move! You can’t even turn that far to shoot them, they just kill you. It’s annoying wasting energy that way but if that bug is fixed i’d sure give this game 5 stars!

Great game but to expensive. The game has great features and a lot of cool options but it’s so expensive! This is my second or third time deleting and downloading this game. It’s good for a bit but after a while if you don’t spend money there’s not much you can do. And the prices of the packages and are ridiculous! I wouldn’t mind spending 5-10 dollars here or there but that gets you very little on this game. Purchased the golden tree package and talk about a total waste of money. If you don’t sign in everyday you lose that gold automatically which must have been in the tiny fine print buried in all the writing. Waste of time and money.

Age rating. I played this a lot until the age rating went up my phone would not let me play it. My phone kicked me off to much storage! If you guys can lower storage. On the other hand best hunting game ever I would give 100 stars if I could thank you so much. Not as good as Classic. As much as I like to play this game, the necessity to spend money out ways the fun. I am not a teenage kid that wants to/ or can be persuaded to blow money on a game so frequently and easily. I don’t mind spending a little money here and there, but when you literally cannot beat a level, without spending $60, regardless of time, is ridiculous. Also, whenever I do get a free upgrade that is good for me, the system always says it did not load properly and reboots and then I get a upgrade that I already have 400%. If I could combine all my cocker spaniel point, I should be able to make a Lion Spaniel.
