Beautiful, rich sounds of nature. I want to thank everyone who created the app and who made it come alive! I cannot sleep without sounds at all. But this app gave me the ability to create mixes with as many sounds as I want, a feature not included in any other rain apps I found. The rain apps I found had barely any thing to offer, except Rain Sounds had EVERYTHING to offer! It is complete with a 3D sound experience of soothing, relaxing sounds, from alluring ocean waves to torrential downpours to birds chirping high above in the trees. I highly recommend this app, with all of its amazing and stunning graphics and high definition sounds! Thank you again! I couldn't be so much more happier than I am now!

Almost Perfect. Almost as good as the old Sharper Image sleep machine. I listen the sound of this program for sleeping, using earbuds. The thunder is not overbearing or underwhelming. The rain is a little tinny but, it is the best I have found. Blocks all ear and background noise. If you try earbuds be sure to use ones that will not poke out of your ears. Your ear will be very sore if you sleep on your side for any length of time. I use cheap Panasonic HJE12. They last four to six months. Order online for $12 a pair.

Only had this app for a little while.. I’ve only had this app for a little while but so far I really like it. I use it for meditation and for sounds to go to sleep. I did not want an app that would cost me a great deal of money and this one has not been that kind of app I cannot recommend it enough I hope it continues to be as good as it has been.

Great sleep aid. I often have songs stuck in my head. I have constant tinnitus in both ears. Lately I have begun bouts of insomnia. White noise helps to drive the music out of my head and over power the buzzing and ringing in my ears. Being able to combine different sounds on this app into a soothing rhythm I can chase the spooks away and get to sleep faster.

Thank you. I love falling asleep to rain sounds. This app provides various rain noises. For example, rain in the forest, thunder and rain together. I can’t fall asleep without listening to one of these. It is so relaxing! Thank you so very much! You’ve changed my ability from not being able to fall asleep to falling asleep quickly!

So far so ?. 2018: Two years ago this was 5 stars. I stopped using it but downloaded it again this week. Not sure why the controls are under the Google ads at the bottom because i can’t see any controls. When I’m on the add sounds page i have no way of getting back to my home page. I went to pay for the app because of my review but find no way to do that. Did i pay for this app already? Then why am i seeing adds and why are the ads blocking everything? The sounds are still great but this interface snafu is very annoying. Without a response from dev on what i should do I’ll have to move on to another sounds app. 2016: I’ve had this for awhile but just started using it and I am very pleased. Not sure where the bonus sounds go when you download them so it'd be nice to know that. (They're not in My Sounds as far as I can see.) In the meantime, I create a mix and add the downloaded sound to it for safe keeping. Nice to nod off to. Thanks.

I wouldn’t be able to sleep without my rain on the windshield.. I am such a light sleeper. Any little noise wakes me and I’m up for hours trying to get back to sleep. If I hear a tv even on low I will be up all night. That’s why I’ve never tried these background noise apps. I found rain on a windshield. Just under 50% volume, airplane mode and now I sleep like a baby. Life changing!

Marzipansdream. Awesome! The very best there is! It is very worth it to support this creator. I have contributed several times over when I have switched phone numbers/emails, both as a monthly subscriber and I have also purchased the lifetime subscription. I still have spent far far less on this than most other ambient apps many times over. Of course one is always welcome to listen and download sound for free. The ease of the format and simple beauty of the pictures is really quite stunning. It is so very apparent that it is a genuine labor of love and not some get rich quick app like the million + ambience apps that have flooded the market in the past few years. This one (and it’s brothers and sisters) have stood the test of time with it’s amazing quality and word of mouth as way of self promotion. I can listen offline, play with other apps and make and save my own mixes, all for free! I cannot say enough about it. It is and always has been my all time favorite. The quality cannot be matched anywhere! Way to go HQ!

I Love This App. I use it every night to sleep. I play Oregon Rain Forest all night long. My wife loves it as well. There are many excellent rain sounds with this app. Get it on your phone and listen to the one(s) you love. I can add to my original review I have continued to use the app for many years so much so it is the app I have had the longest on my phone.

Omg! Fix this bug!. The moment I turn on my car to go to work this app goes to work. The sound of rain fills my car! And this is after I have turned off the app as soon as I wake and have removed it from play. It's so frustrating! I have to reopen the app and shut it down again! I've never had to do that with any other app! Fix this please because this is the first app that has actually put me to sleep as it promises to do! Once that's done, I will come back and update my review. Thank you!

Great sleep App. This is part of a suite of sleep apps, and it works very well for me. In fact it is one of the best apps I have found on the App Store. I have not had a need to try all of the sleep sounds, but I am sure there is something to meet your needs. I highly recommend this suite of Apps.

Meet and keep keeping on. Mike says this app has a perfect mix for quick peace and sweet sleep.. Absolutely no reason to not try this APP. If you want pure sleep, no cost to try and use. Beautiful slumber. Just do it!! You will need an alarm clock to wake you up. Surfing away! This app is a multi national must have for getting essential comm made.

Best For Baby - Great running water sound. I love this app! I live in New York City, close to construction and a fire station, as well as a major road. My baby had a hard time sleeping and any noise woke him up. I downloaded 14 white noise apps and nothing worked, including one where you could record your own sound - terrible playback. AND THEN I FOUND THIS APP... My baby can't sleep without the River near Mt St Helens sound. Since we got it 1.5 years ago, he naps and sleeps great through fire trucks, construction, fireworks... It sounds almost like a bathtub faucet, without wasting water.

Simply great. I think that the easiest way to describe this app is “simple”. Succinct, easy to set up, and a broad range of rain sounds, all for free. If you like to imagine yourself in some remote locale gently drifting off to sleep, here is your portal. Or if you just wish some rain with your slumber, than this is simple enough. I’ve enjoyed some other apps with differing “white noises” akin to bonfires, shorelines, and more, which were all good in their own way, but this app offers the broadest range of rainfall I’ve ever encountered, from gentle showers to thundering storms, from all over the globe. While you could spend more upon a similar app, I doubt you would find any that are better than this one. If you like this sort of thing, then it is most definitely recommended.

What I needed. Although it’s assumed it rains often in Washington state, it doesn't. I’ve taken a lot of walks in Washington state forest and especially when it rains, it is very soothing to be out in the forest. To return home and wrap up in a blanket with a mug of hot tea, is very comforting and satisfying. When I’m having trouble sleeping, this rain app is my go to every time, and the thunderstorm sound is very helpful in drowning out my neighbor’s loud bass. As I stated in my title, this rain app is exactly what I need, so thank you.

This app is amazing. I like all the different choices I get to mix around but I do wish they would have more options besides just rain and thunder. The other random sounds like the waves or cricket sounds I favored those more than the rain. I wish they did have more ocean sounds like a roaring crashing waves, wind noises and more howl to a blizzard sound. Definitely I’d love more wildlife and background sounds like maybe jungle noises or different types of bird calls rather than just a wren. This has definitely helped me concentrate with studying better and my sleep has improved immensely. I give it 8.5/10 would recommend.

The best. Used this for years. WASHINGTON FOREST is the most perfect rain sound you’ll hear on an app ever. You can also mix different ones together which is brilliant. The biggest issue I’ve run into looking for rain sounds to sleep to... LOOPS!!! Idc how subtle it is, your mind will start to notice the loop and it can before stress inducing. This is the ONLY app where I can’t hear the loop! It’s amazing. Also, it sounds like rain, and not static on an old TV. Can’t live without this app.

Great for relaxing. I have a hard time sleeping but since using this app, it’s been easier to go to and stay asleep. The sounds are crisp and the majority actually sound like the described rain variation (storm vs. rain, etc), the timed play is a great feature; it stays on as long as my phone stays alive. It’s also actually free and overall, I would highly recommend!

My favorite sleep app. This is absolutely amazing!! I can mix my own combination of sounds. And the sounds play as long as I want them to play. There are no interruptions and no audio ads. Disturbing noises. I was using this app to help me sleep and block out other noises. It seems to work great to get to sleep, but a week ago I woke up because I thought I heard talking, then just assumed I imagined it. Last night I woke up around 4 am and I did hear someone talking in the app, almost chanting or something, very softly but it was not my imagination. It made me feel very unsettled as I was waking. I don’t know what it was but it was disturbing. A developer told me it was impossible because it’s just a recording and not streaming and maybe it was something else running. I’ll try it again.

Best Thunderstorm App EVER!!!. Listen Y'all, it takes me A LOT to get to sleep and the sound of the sweet, blissful, Cologne Thunderstorm is nothing short of absolutely magical! I was born and raised in the South(Atlanta, GA) and we know a thing or two about thunderstorms. Honestly, this is my FAVORITE THUNDERSTORM APP BY FAR!!! No other app has come close! I love that you can put a timer on, or... don't and let the sweet sound of thunderstorms play until you wake up! Well done to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who had a hand in writing, launching, and maintaining the fabulousness of this app! SPOT ON!!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Best app. I’ve tried many other sound apps and this is the best by far. Can’t sleep without it. These are real recorded sounds, not fake thunder and rain. I use Bluetooth sleepphones to listen to this app every night. The “back of a ferry boat” sound is essential for my thunderstorm mixes because it blocks out all outside noises so that I don’t wake up.

Outstanding Sound Quality!. I'm a sufferer of tinnitus and these sound offerings are some of the best out there. This app is perfect to use and mix and layer night sounds with. The rain tracks are varied with light drops to full on downpours. I listen every night and during the day at work - esp. in stressful situations, the rain is a great nerve-soother. Splendid!. I was looking for a rain app that was both free and quite well stocked with a variety of recordings, and after being disappointed by many this one won me over. I love that I can meld different sounds to create mixes that suit my preferences and personality. Definitely a keeper. I make sure I have it ready on all of my devices.

Worth downloading!. Have tried a few apps with maybe one good sound. Most are good while the app is open, once it closes the sound is gone. Love that this one has a timer feature and also will play on the background. Has a small list of rain sounds and it's enough for me. I give it 5 stars for being versatile and offering what is needed most: white noise :)

Love this app!. Absolutely love going to sleep listening to the different sounds available with this app. I have tried many different apps but this is by far the best for sleeping. I was used to living in the city and had to relocate to a much more rural area. I cannot go to sleep in all this quiet!! It's also great if you have time to grab an afternoon nap. I find it relaxes me & puts me right to sleep. Plus all the bonus sounds are always a great selection too & it's free! Five stars for this one!

This app has so many rain sounds!. As a former Seattleite I love rain. Now I’m in dry CA and I miss that rain sometimes the sounds are absolutely amazing and soooo many! Take one or mix many! Your choice. Oh and rain isn’t all they have. Bazillion white noises, crackling fires, birds, forests.. just about anything you can imagine. If you miss the city they even have city ambiance. And you can mix them and decide which one is how load. Save the mixes. Set a timer to end listening... not sure what else you’ll want. Pretty amazing. And doesn’t drain battery.

Wonderful. This app is wonderfully made! I JUST downloaded about an hour ago...I know it’s a little early but It’s amazing, trust me. The sounds make me sleepy and like the description says, it clears anxiety. Which is true! It’s free (Or you could get +sounds) and I love that you can relax for free. Nothing I don’t like besides ONE suggestion! Maybe add a search bar so you could look up certain countries, states, and particular sounds? Overall, lovely app.

Restful sleep. I am 73 years young, and I found myself waking up two or three times a night. Since I found this so, I am getting a full night’s rest and loving it. The soothing sounds of water calms my thoughts, and I find myself drifting off into deep, restive sleep. I have a wife, cat and dog who also sleep through the night now that we use this wonderful ap. Best app EVER!. I’ve tried just about every sleep sound app out there and finally found this one and my quest is over. The rain sounds are incredible and the nature sounds are crisp and clear and put you right in the middle of a beautiful and tranquil oasis. Each night I set the timer for 45-60 minutes and am never awake to hear it stop. I’m a rotten sleeper with lousy sleep habits but this app just sends me drifting off blissfully to sleep and, wonder of wonders, I actually stay asleep! You wonderful people have done an amazing thing in creating this app and in capturing these incredibly clear and pristine sounds. Well done and thank you so very much!

Sleep through the night. We really enjoy the Rain Sounds App. We use it as much as 5 night a week to help us sleep. We also use the Mountain Stream as a background sound in our backyard. In the customize option, I have to combined three sounds to make my own sound for sleeping. In an area of low rainfall it allows us the pleasure of rain whenever we want it. Sincerely, JH

Love the app but…. I have been using this app for over a year now and there is one thing that bugs me about this app. Every morning the app stops working, freezes or pauses. Not sure what is causing this. I have to close the app and restart it. Sometimes it will do the same thing after restarting it. Only happens on weekdays between 7-8am. Weird I know. I have tried setting a time but will still do it. The “glitch” is even worse when it isn’t plugged into the power outlet.

Exactly what I was looking for!. I quite literally was looking for a specific rain sound from Cologne, and this app had it! There are lots of really soothing sound sets, and the timer feature lets me set it for as long (or as little) I might need it to run for. No more draining my battery overnight or needing to leave my phone plugged in! The ads are incredibly minimal and not invasive as far as I am concerned especially since they give you so many sound options. There is far more than just rain. You can also create custom playlists to string together your most relaxing and soothing soundscape. Give it a shot! This app has been and will be my go-to app for sleepy times :)

No pills. Just sound. Sound sleep. All night long..... Ahh, for the Oregon Coast and hooray for sleep! Last night I slept through without waking even once and woke up this morning refreshed. The sound of rain is so soothing; I fell asleep imagining it was right outside my open window. The rain was still falling when I opened my eyes! I know it wasn’t truly raining but I live in California where it seems there has been nothing but drought and fires from hell and this is rain, no worries. (The length of playing time can be determined in settings.)

Would be 5 star if you could randomize. I like everything but one thing. If you set up the play list of sounds you like the only thing you can do is set how long it will play on the timer, we need to be able to chose how long it will play on sound before moving on to the next sound on the list. Also a randomization would be nice on the play list that way it’s not the same one every time i start.

Rain sounds. This app is GREAT I love it it works amazingly and I use it every night♥️♥️♥️. My only problem is the fact that the app only has rain sounds , now don’t get me wrong I love thunder and rain but I wish that the app also had music or fan sounds or white or brown noise would be good two all I am saying is pleas add a little more variety over . Also if you download this app ( totally recommend) then each out fore the timer.

This is perfect!. I have always struggled with being able to sleep until I found this app. It has everything I am looking for. It has sounds from beaches in Iceland to thunderstorms in Finland. The sounds are very calming and peaceful. The only thing is, I wish they had more of a variety rather than just nature sounds. Like train tracks or humming. Just simple things like that, but it is a very good app if you feel nature calms you.

Wonderful soothing rain in my mind’s eye. It’s so nice to be able to hear the sound of falling rain on the back deck that I don’t have anymore. It’s soothing and I can see and hear the rain coming down and falling and the water moving about on the deck even though it’s not actually there, my eyes are closed and I can imagine the beauty of the rain as it falls down as I go to sleep. A pleasant surprise. I found this app after finding the calm app and see its prices. I mean really it just rain sounds and thunderstorms that I need and I gotta tell you this app was a pleasant surprise. Very calming and soothing. Different variations of elemental relaxation. Since I am an air sign it really helps feed, nourish and give rest to my spirit, soul, mind and definitely body.

Finally getting sleep. I’ve always had a hard time sleeping since I was a teenager. Since I started using this app I’ve been sleeping like a baby all night long without waking up in the middle of the night. Thank you so much for developing these different rain sounds. I now Sleep soundly and peacefully with this app. I no longer have trouble falling asleep after I created many soothing sound mixes. All the sounds are high quality sounds that can be combined to create any number for personal sound mixes. Fills in for something I long for. One thing I miss about living on the East Coast of the states was being able to leave my windows open at night and wake to the comforting sound of a soft rainstorm. I love that this app lets you choose from tons of different very realistic and specific sounds to make your own perfectly tranquil mix. It really helps me to relax and sleep and is very soothing if I should wake in the night. I also appreciate that it has a shut off timer.

I couldn't believe it...retracted. The developers of this app are truly very nice people. I put a complaint in because while listening to their relaxing sounds an ad came on with sound as well as movement right in the middle of listening. I wrote an email to them and they promptly responded in the nicest of ways. They truly do want people to enjoy their app both free and paid. Thank you for a wonderful app.

Very nice. It's got so many sound that you can download! I'm very pleased with the quality and variety of options. However, the interface is a tad confusing. At first I thought it only goes to 180 minutes, which is no good when I'm sharing a room with someone snoring. but then if you set the timer to 'none', perhaps it will play indefinitely. I'm testing that tonight.

For years now. I have used this app for years now and I love it I have payed anything and I still enjoy if. When I travel it’s a lifesaver. I can’t sleep (or do anything) in silence. So I’m so glad I got this app. I don’t use a lot of the sound but love the rain and thunderstorm ones and use it’s constantly. there’s no timer or ads to deal with either. Thanks!

Perfect Sleep!. I love love love this FREE APP! Everyone needs this, if you just close your eyes and just listen, you can try to just lay on your back arms and legs straight palms up and concentrate on your toes first relax them, and then go to the ball of your feet relax then your arched heels, ankles and calves, and knees, thighs, every inch of your body concentrate on relax, somehow I can’t make it any farther than that before I know it I’m waking up and finding I’m in the infant position. And I FEEL GREAT!!! Well rested, and then stand and really stretch, enjoy your day and think positive thoughts, grab my coffee and Gods word and spend some time with Jesus, and talk to Him, Give Him Thanks for all you have been blest with.

Pls fix app. Could you please fix the app? Your latest update causes the app to not open. You are the best white noise app around. You guys somehow have multiple sounds for my specific taste in rain nose for sleeping. And you don’t require me to get a membership for anything unlike every other app like this. I don’t want to delete. PLEASE DO WHAT YOU CAN!

Amazing FREE app. For someone who has had insomnia and needed background tv noise to fall asleep all my life, this was truly a life saver!! Now I don’t need to have a second tv in my bedroom or sleep on the couch in the living room to be able to get a good nights rest. I highly recommend this app and have recommended it to friends and family.

Really good...!. I genuinely didn't have high expectations of this free app, but it's great! The sounds are clear, the app has bonus sounds on a monthly basis, and it runs in the background if you want to play the sounds while being on other apps (which defeats the purpose of a sleep sound app, I know...). It also has a timer so you can have the app automatically turn itself off after a certain amount of time, from 5 minutes up to 12 hours! There is a small ad at the bottom of the app screen, but if you're just listening and not looking at the app, it's not a bother. Very well thought out app. I'm currently obsessed with "Small River in Scotland" sound and actually went ahead and purchased the full paid app with many other sounds options for a small fee. Well done, developers!

Constant Pop up Ads make this useless. Pop up ads redirecting to the App Store or Safari within 2-3 seconds make this a truly terrible app. I'm surprised Apple let this rubbish through.

Perfect Relaxation App!. So great for a calm nap or a reading session. I love the variety of loopable sound clips (they don't have obvious replay points) and the fact that the clips can be played on timer. It's the perfect app for feeling de-stressed.

Amazing. To everyone saying “too many ads”, an app has to have ads otherwise other apps won’t get downloaded and used. At least they aren’t as bad as some apps. The recordings in this app are amazing, I have trouble sleeping but when I first used this app I was out with a click of your fingers! This app is amazing!

Love this app. I use this app every night to fall asleep. I really love how the rain sound selections are all very different to each other and there is no ‘loop’ (where the sounds start again from the start). The timer is handy but to be honest the sounds are so soothing I like to leave it on all night. Thank you for the great app :)

A good app but the sound loops are to short. It gets annoying when you are waiting for sounds to repeat in a certain order and pattern due to short loops rather than getting lost in the sound themselves. Other than that, a really good app.

AD HEAVEN. Do NOT get this app. The app itself is good, or, it WAS good until they updated so every time you open the app or unlock your phone, it will disturb you with a message forcing you to go to app store to get their paid app. Its immensely annoying, terrible programming. And it uses 3G data I dont know what for - probably for Ad download. NOT RECOMMENDED! Do yourself a favor and GO download something much much better than this garbage.

Sleeping. Awesome app, able to mix your own rain playlist from their sounds. Fall asleep to it every night, doesn't sound like static or white noise like a lot of other rain making apps

Would be great if not for continual pop ups. Performs great, however I would not recommend as continual pop ups appear relentlessly without a close option. Only option is to click ok which opens a link in Safari. There's other apps out there without this.

Rain sounds. Beautiful rain sounds. Natural sound Not tinny like others. The ap could benefit from being able to keep the selected run time until deciding to change the run time instead of having to set it each use. I often forget and wake to find it still running and using battery life. That said it is my preferred ap over others I have as it is so soothing

Download this app. Best rain sounds app I've found. So many sounds to choose from - and I sleep like a log once I have it on. Can't recommend enough

Easily the best rain app.. This app is easily the best rain app out there. The sleep timer works great and there is a huge selection of different rain sounds, including rain on a tent, or rain on a metal roof. I use it every night to fall asleep.

Compared to many others. This app seems to have many more sounds than others. They also sound different whereas other sound apps sounds seem similar.

Slept so well both at night and for a nap. I set the timer for the length of my desired nap or for the time I’d like it to play as I go to sleep for the night. The Oregon Rainforest is my favourite. It plays then fades out at the set time. Perfect app and it connects to my Apple Watch where I can control the volume if I need to. For an hour and a half play while napping the watch lost 4% battery. I’d say that’s good.

You should get this app. I was able to get a lot of sleep. And I really do remanned this app to help you sleep or to make you feel relaxed. So if your wanting to get a good nights sleep you should really get this app. It is free, and you can set timers on how long you want the noise to play for.

Love app. I absolutely love this app and have been using it for a while now and it is so helpful for me to fall asleep to but i just wish that there could be more sounds to choose from. Otherwise I absolutely love love love this app, you should definitely get it

Best rain sounds for sleep. High quality sounds, soothing and relaxing, great variety of options. I love that you can mix then to create your own sounds. Best of all, there is an easy to find and use sleep timer, which is somehow difficult to find in other apps.

Much needed!. I love this app. I always have a difficult time falling asleep and need some "white noise" to help. I also love the sound of rain & a thunderstorm and since we never get any of that where I live, it's great to have this as it sounds like that weather is right outside the house!

Sounds like rain. This app has a sound that really does mimic the sounds of the rain from my room. I tried several other apps before this and was happy to finally have a true rain sound.

Very simple!. I love the sound of rain, but when the weather doesn't act accordingly when you want a calming nap or study time, this app does the job. Beautifully clear sound and tons upon tons of options!! Would definitely recommend it to a rain loving introvert like me!🌧😄

relaxing and lots of selection. I really love this app, it sounds realistic and there's a big variety in weather noises to listen to... it always helps me fall asleep at night and there's a sleep timer so it turns off when I'm asleep so I don't use up my battery at night

Timer doesn’t work. Loved this app until I realized you can’t turn the timer off. I set the timer. But the next time I used it I couldn’t turn the timer to NONE. You can’t turn it to no timer after you use it once. Now all my uses are timed. Duh!!!! Got a message about using the timer. I went to the timer and tapped NONE. And it still goes to the set time. It does not turn the timer off. I tapped on the stopwatch. It doesn’t turn it off either. Help. The setting will not stay on NONE.

Very good!. I always stay awake for hours on end just trying to fall asleep, but upon discovery of this app and rain sounds, they manage to get the job done. This app has so many choices for you to pick from, it’s very easy to get lost in relaxing sounds

😭😭😭. The sounds are so low I cannot really appreciate them. I have turned the volume up all the way to max on the app and also on my iPod. Yet there is no increase in volume or sound. I wanted to subscribe to your app but I’ll be wasting my money. Sorry!!!

Rain Sounds HQ. I love this app. I fall asleep naturally, and I must say that the Rain Sounds as well as the THUNDER TOO ARE SO AUTHENTIC . This is a fantastic sleep App. It is free and I highly recommend it. I use it on my iPad Pro and look forward to drifting off. I am writing this review right now on my iPad and I feel like I need to check...is it really raining now ? Love this app

Rain app is Fabulous app!!. I have searched & searched for just sounds w/ out music & all the other stuff along with it. This app is just what you need to fall asleep! Relax whatever!! So many options. I really like this using this app to relax and fall asleep. It has so many different sounds to choose from. I use it every night. I like it so much that I set it up on my sons tablet as well so he can listen at night is too!

So good when you're having a tough day/night. I am a terrible sleeper, and often have stressful days, this app is the perfect way to calm down and relax. There's nothing better than putting some headphones on and listening to nature; especially when you're unable to get out and enjoy it. Awesome app!!

Soothing. I sleep better when it's raining, but it's not always raining when I need to sleep. This app really helps calm my mind so I sleep better. I love that there are so many sounds to choose from, and not all of them are rain either. Very realistic too!

Great for me and newborn daughter!. I have a daughter less than one month old. I play this for her as we go to sleep and both of us seem to relax. We like both the Cologne thunderstorm and the rain on the Japanese temple. We've downloaded other new sounds to try.

Love this app!. Such a cool app if you have a deep imagination & the urge to cancel out negative thoughts and drift to a positive place. And it's very simple & easy to use. Don't hesitate to download his app bc it's definitely worth it. The "Small River in Scotland" sound even helps me fall asleep at night when insomnia takes over lol.

Best app. I did not know which rain app was the best so I got two of the highly recommended ones. This one is the best and I will be deleting the other one. I thought I would like the rain sounds but I love the beach ones even better. I feel so relaxed when I listen to this app. The selections are wonderful.

Best sound app for iOS. I’ve tried a bunch and they either have a ridiculous price or just don’t work well. Podcasts work poorly also with looping and most are 8 hours. This app’s ability to mix sounds is awesome.

Rain Sounds has screwed up the timer and made it impossible to navigate what used to be easy.. These sounds are like a sleeping pill in a bottle - only better! Go for it, get some for yourself.

A pleasant surprise. I found this app after finding the calm app and see its prices. I mean really it just rain sounds and thunderstorms that I need and I gotta tell you this app was a pleasant surprise. Very calming and soothing. Different variations of elemental relaxation. Since I am an air sign it really helps feed, nourish and give rest to my spirit, soul, mind and definitely body.

Dreamer. I get my BEST sleep using this App. Ive always had trouble falling asleep. My favorite sounds are of thunderstorms. The sounds of a storm always calms my mind and relaxes me. This App delivers! I use the timer and always set a 15-30 minute timer. I hear the storms end as I am always already asleep.

Wonderful app. It works to help quiet my mind so I can fall asleep. I like the variety of storms available as well as the timer. Inspired to look for something like after watching Interstellar where the astronauts listened to recordings of stuff from home to help make space travel more familiar

Best sounds to go to sleep by!!!!!!!. It lets you choose what type of rain you want and it can also be used to just use for so noise plus it is similar to white noise. But I wish it had more choices to choose from but overall good

Does what I was looking for. I recently downloaded the free version. It in it’s own right as been great, It’s everything I was looking for. I’m even considering buying the full version to expand my playlist, It’s definitely worth giving it try.

Really a great app. I gave it 4 stars because I do have one complaint. When listening to the sounds, the volume has a tendency to raise up then drop to a lower level. I don’t want to turn it up. Then it will get real loud. I like this app. I hope it can be adjusted.

Perfect for sleep. So relaxing to combine certain sounds. I love that you can not only combine sounds but also control the volume of those sounds when put into a playlist. This really helps me get to sleep. Makes me feel like I’m home in PNW 🌧🌲

Comforting. Works very well. The primary rain sound should have a couple more variations. It begins to sound monotone. Kind of like white noise. If the rain would occasionally let up then slightly come down harder. That could break up that one tone. The ambient sounds in the background are awesome though. Thunder, isolated drips, what sounds like an occasional voice. Good touch.

This app is perfect. I had low expectations for this app, but it is add free, and it doesn’t trick you into paying for a subscription. the sounds are night quality and i love making custom mixes. they really help me sleep while traveling.

I can't sleep without it!!. I usually don't write these. In on my way to sleep and as I do every single night!! Grab my iPhone and turn on this app before bed!!! The different selections they have of the rain is amazing!!!! I've been sleeping to them over a year now!!!! Thanks I love it!!!!

Sleeping at last!. With a crazy political situation and a dying friend, I couldn’t sleep. I saw you on TV, and I downloaded your App. What a difference. The calm falling rain relaxes me and puts me to sleep. Sounds unbelievable but I am finally able to sleep. Thank you!

Baby loves it. When she gets super cranky I just plug this up to the stereo and turn on her favorite mix of rain sounds playlist. Kind of tedious to download all of the extra tracks but it's wonderful that it's unlimited and you can make mixes of sounds. All very good quality, definitely worth a try if you have a fussy little one.

Soothing to sleep. Such a good variety of sounds from rain to waves to wind plus ambient sounds as well. I like that most all of the sounds have been rated, which helps in selecting the right one. I’ve tried many different apps and this is the best yet!

Timer option does it for me. I’m getting into meditating and discovered this app. There are so many beautiful songs that bring me to wonderful places in my spirit, and the fact that I can set a timer that gently fades away when my time is up is a plus. Get this app!

Perfect sleep sounds. I have never heard such perfect rain sounds for sleep and relaxation. Before I found this app, I was getting less than 4 hours of broken up sleep a night. Now I sleep at least 6 - 7 peaceful hours. Thank you so much. I have so many favorites but the Wind and Rain on the Windshield is the best for me.

Perfect. I have been looking for an app with the sound of thunderstorms to help me relax and sleep better. This app is perfect the sounds are amazing and relaxing, I even use it to help sooth my grandson who’s 8 months old when he comes over.

Rain sounds. I read the reviews and Downloaded the app and started listening to the sounds so soothing,relaxing,calming, when you close your eyes it's like your right there. Can't sleep without it. High quality sound with option of timer, I've loaded many rain apps that I end up deleting or just coming back to this one, used it for years now and still my go to sleep sound.

Great sounds and clear. Just what I needed. They have a huge selection of various sounds and you can mix them (combine your favorites), the only thing they don't have is sounds of hurricanes which I wanted but if you combine blizzard & heavy rain it's close enough.
