MagicMarker is the efficient and effective way of recording the mastery of learning outcomes in your classroom.
Focus on your students, not on the task of collecting the data. As you effortlessly swipe on the screen, MagicMarker is recording, calculating, tabulating, and reporting all this information for you. By the time you sit down and look at your gradebook, MagicMarker will have already updated it with the latest mastery information.
As learning outcomes become a more common form of assessment in the classroom, it becomes more important for teachers to have a good way of collecting the valuable outcome mastery information. -> MagicMarker
If your school is currently implementing Common Core -> MagicMarker
The use of MagicMarker requires a Canvas account. If your school is not yet using Canvas by Instructure, visit our website to create a free account and to turn learning outcomes into a magical experience.

Making changes to a student's outcome in this app creates a PERMANENT entry in their learning mastery gradebook. Tech support was no help trying to delete it. There should be a big disclaimer about this.
I love the feedback that the app would give me and the potential for analyzing where my students are in their learning, but the app crashes so much that it is impossible to choose my outcomes, and interrupts the flow in the midst of a lesson. Please fix the bugs.
I love idea but it crashes after 5 seconds!
Four stars for the potential and once it gets the bugs worked out five stars would be too low. I showed this to some third grade teachers and they got very excited. "This is exactly what we need. No more marking on paper and transferring to something usable." My issue is that the scores don't always transfer over and now the app crashes. It may just be my multiple iPads logged in. I have high hopes Instructure is working on these issues.
