Beauty, then the Beast. I’ve been a longtime player of Two Dots, from back when it circulated around on a post of calming games. Like a lot of people, I was charmed with its simple design, its playability, and its challenging but rewarding levels. Sometimes I’d play for two hours and not notice any time had passed! Now, it’s an unnavigable mess that’s completely pay-to-win. Everything is a money grab, and even the new features I liked (the new Where’s Waldo-esque search puzzles) ended up locking me out because I wouldn’t pay for more gold, or the godforsaken gold mine, to keep playing. Every single puzzle could probably be solved in a minute if you’re willing to fork over dollar after dollar. Trying to keep track of the new puzzle features is a headache as well, and I can’t get behind consulting an off-app compendium to see how I’m supposed to solve something when the initial draw of the whole game was... minimalism. That, and why bother learning how to solve it when, again, you can just pay $5 or more and solve it in a few taps? I know people have to make money somehow, but this seems extreme if they’re locking players out of certain features. It is still a beautiful game, and I enjoyed some of the Pride-themed puzzles recently, but I’m probably going to end up deleting this app. The user experience feels rotten now and it just comes across as a cash grab wrapped in pretty packaging.

Great Game…Fun & Challenging, but…. Game is a lot of fun! Always different games at every level & the hidden objects games are such a great addition! The problems I’m having is that I was playing against some friends via Facebook. We had been playing this game for a few months. Then all of a sudden we were disconnected. I tried to connect to Facebook again & was unable to. A message came up saying the app was not able to connect to Facebook because it’s still in development, or something along those lines. Another issue I have is that the daily prizes are very inconsistent. I’m a daily player & each consecutive day you play you get rewarded. It was like that for awhile anyway. Now, when you log on it says you’ve missed days, even though you haven’t, and the rewards are nonexistent. It doesn’t affect the game at all, but it’s pretty annoying considering you put all of this time into the game & then everything you’ve accumulated is gone. The developers of the game could apparently care less because there isn’t one response to any of the complaints in these reviews. The people who support their game & pay for the extras are just being ignored, just like I will be, I’m sure. There are many, better games that I would rather spend my money on games developed by people who care about the players. Deleted!

Pay to play. This game is fun as a whole, but the best part in my opinion is something called the Two Dots Odyssey. This is essentially a digital I Spy book, and it’s extremely fun. However, you have to pay in game currency to unlock new sections of it. You collect said currency by playing the main levels, and upon completion, the coins are sent to a “mine.” From there, you have to pay real money to unlock the mine. The mine only holds 50 coins, and once it’s full, any new coins that you collect just disappear, and you have to pay $2.99 to unlock the the mine. Once you’ve unlocked it, a new mine is created, ensuring that you have to pay real money each and every time you want any coins at all. Furthermore, the price of new sections of the Odyssey rises with each section, with the first two being free, the third being 7 coins (if I remember correctly,) and the fourth costing 15 coins. At three dollars for 50 coins, that means that the first four sections will cost you $1.31. To add insult to injury, when you click on the mine icon, a message pops up which reads, “Don’t miss out on your hard earned coins!” If you want to play the most fun part of this game, you have to be willing to constantly pay your hard earned money to collect your hard earned coins. There are other problems with this game, but this one bothered me the most, so I chose to focus on it.

Can’t play without spending a fortune. I love love love this game. Having said that. I am having to give it up. You cannot play this game for any length of time without spending regular amounts of money. You can win all sorts of things playing games but very few of them are useful. You get keys for instance but can’t really used them for anything other than new lives and booster Boxes. You get coins for playing too but you actually have to pay to get access to the coins you win. Can’t use the key for ANY of the other power ups. All of the other power ups you end up having to pay for. Would be nice if you were rewarded for play rather than just addicted so you will spend more money. Great game though. Wish I didn’t have to give it up. Btw - you can spend hours looking through stupid pictures trying to find items (think Highlights magazine) but the rewards are not worth it. The “extra” adventures you can play are even worse. Can’t even play them at all without a big wad of cash to buy power ups. Devs need to stop being so greedy with this game. It’s a really awesome game but I am not a bank!!!

Crashing my IPhone. - This game keeps causing my phone to overheat and crash. It seems to be an app issue because I have plenty of storage space. This app drains the battery and I feel like any time I want to play it I have to make sure my phone is plugged in. I have no other app that causes this. The game itself lags. It especially crashes when clicking on the videos for free boosts. It’s just a plain black screen that I need to close out and then reopen the app— almost every time I click the “watch video for boost” option. Thus—the boost is not applied and I have to go back into the game and level. The boosts themselves are problematic and most free boosts actually don’t help you—other reviewers have commented on this problem. Also—what is the point of rewarding coins if those coins have to then be bought? Yes—keys can be used to buy some of the power ups but not all of them. It’s disappointing that as I have continued to play this game (please stop asking if I want to link it to Facebook) it’s become more apparent that the app is only interested in adds and getting you to buy more coins. While recognizing that the app has at least acknowledged quarantine and allowing unlimited hearts it still seems to be like most apps—all about profit.

Sort of fun, then not fun at all. It follows the typical paywall model - sort of fun and easy for a few rounds to get you hooked on the game, then abruptly becomes impossible *unless* you buy the boosters. I wish this model would go away. It has ruined the App Store because nearly every game follows this exact model. No games are based on skill or experience anymore. Every game is pay-to-win. It’s unfortunate because developers apparently don’t realize that users will pay for a good game if it’s fun. Just make fun games and give users a good experience and you’ll make money. It’s not necessary to use this gimmickry to sucker people into these games that require dozens of microtransactions to even progress. I never give a cent to games like this. I simply uninstall them when I hit the wall because it will never end. Every level will require more money. There’s nothing random about how the dots drop in this game. It is all done in a strategic way to force you into buying boosts. The first few levels are laughably easy, then the game becomes impossible without buying boosts. Zero ramp up 😂 It’s almost comical. Dots drop in a way that there is no move at all. Random drops would generate at least some moves, but the game forces you to spend money to progress. Install it, try it, then uninstall it when you hit the paywall. Don’t spend a cent. It’s time to stop rewarding developers for this trash or it will never end.

Beautiful design and very entertaining. I love this game. The main game is fun but there are all kinds of mini games; my favorite being the scavenger hunt. I’ve noticed some familiar characters in the scavenger hunt that are super cool if you notice it though they aren’t part of the find. Just fun little Easter eggs. I’ve seen fin and Jake from adventure time, the crystal gems from Steven universe, the Martian basketball team from space jam, morticia and Gomez adams, the ladies from “death becomes her” and so many more. The art style is so cute I’m just amazed at how beautiful this game is presented for it being just a cellphone game. It’s also not full of adds constantly and you don’t need to watch video adds to progress but they are optional if you want to get certain perks or hints (those perks and hints are also very easy to win without the need for watching an add which is very much appreciated) they change the game designs seasonally to match the holidays there are also different game modes and you can win collectibles too. You can spend money for coins and stuff but again it’s not necessary to progress in the games since you can just win coins. 10/10 highly recommend. I would only ask that they do even more with the scavenger hunts since that’s my favorite part.

Distraction from Beauty. I bought this game ages ago and was quite happy to rediscover it. Despite being very beautiful, and having the potential to be a fantastic and relaxing game, I’ve found that over time the app has more or less transformed into a add riddled and somewhat chaotic mess. Marketing itself as a “minimalist” game may have been true a few years ago but due to all the pop ups and constant requests to either rate the app or pay for different features, the adjective no longer rings true. Updates in an app are indeed a great way to stay current but it can be difficult to enjoy with the constant bombardments of varying new quests and tasks. Regardless, I can understand why this type of content is coming into popularity as young children and those with ADHD are gaining access to technology rapidly. I concede that perhaps this game is not for me personally, as it is abundantly clear by other reviews that people enjoy it. I’m simply here to leave suggestion that perhaps a more relaxed approach has the potential to make the app better. I am very happy to amend my review if it bares anyone any ill will and the one star was meant only to get the attention of the developers. I do think this game deserves more praise than I have given it for the art effort that was clearly put into its creation. With that said, I will leave my review here. If anyone takes the time to read this I appreciate it.

It’s too easy to lose the coins you pay for. The basic gameplay is really good. Some of the mechanics are annoying, but that’s a matter of preference. The big issue is that there are so many other things going on, and so many distractions that you are forced to deal with...Pop ups that you have to tap through in order to get back to the game. Even if you don’t want to play these other parts of the game, or if you know what the deal is with them, you have to tap through the info about them every time they pop up. Also, you have to tap TWICE to quit a game I order to start a new one (it asks “Are you sure????”) but one quick accidental tap and the game happily and quickly takes coins that you paid actual cash for, that you may have been holding onto for something else, and now you have wasted by mistake. I know the developers need cash flow to keep releasing new levels. I’d rather have to pay a bit on a subscription than put up with this crap. (And y’all out there thinking that you’re entitled to all this work for free are part of why we have to put up with this manipulative gamey nonsense) But seriously TwoDots, I’ve given up paid coins 4 times unwillingly because there is no confirmation on that tap...the game has gotten so tedious.

An interesting game…but mostly luck.. An interesting premise, but far too many levels you depend on getting lucky. There are some levels that the dots just USUALLY don’t go your way and you can’t win no matter what moves you make. I’m currently stuck on a level that you can usually tell within the first five moves whether you have even a tiny chance. It seems that a lot of the levels are designed to be impossible to pass without playing dozens of times, waiting to get lucky…presumably in order to make you desperate enough to spend money. One star until that aspect is changed. I have no intention of playing a single level dozens d times just hoping the “random” arrangement of dots makes it possible for me to clear the board properly and win. To begin more specific: I’m at level 185. The arrangement of that board is such that you CANNOT win unless you just get lucky. You can make every move right if you want, and it isn’t enough; unless the game randomly gives you the color dots you need, you automatically lose. You can make every move right and still lose repeatedly. I’ve played the level countless times, and there is no trick, no technique, no strategy to it; the only possible way to get through it is for the game to just randomly drop the dots you need at the right time. I refuse to play a single level a thousand times hoping for luck. This is lazy game design to allow this.

Just another “free” pay to win game. The game is beautifully designed, the concept is fun and the music is soothing. It has the same issue as so many other puzzle games: even though it’s free, you have to pay to really progress. If you enjoy doing the scavenger hunts, you have to use coins to do so. This would be fine except after the first scavenger hunt and the third level of the second one, there is literally no way to earn coins. You have to purchase them with real money. While the puzzles themselves are mostly fun, they get increasingly difficult as the game goes on, to the point that you have to pay money to get the boosters or coins you need to win. This turns the game from somewhat relaxing and fun to just another stressor/frustration in your day. I stopped playing when it got to this point (very quickly) as I have fallen for this trap before. I was really hoping this game would be different, but it’s just another pseudo free game that would rather frustrate its users into spending hundreds of dollars than just make the game cost money for everyone from the start with better gameplay.

Enjoyable. Update 11 Feb: New main map levels are unplayable, it tries to show you how to solve geodes using an illegal move and never works, but it COUNTS YOUR ATTEMPTED MOVES! I’ve wasted two booster boxes attempting to play this level. No response on Twitter or HelpShift, does anyone work at Dots anymore? Please fix your game. The Flip, searches, and Treasure Hunt still work, why doesn’t the main map? Took away two stars because the game is not as good as it used to be and staff is unresponsive. Also, please stop doing business with advertisers who have violent or adult content. I can’t believe some of the ads that are allowed. UPDATE: Where did the daily mystery prizes go? The March 1 update has a flaw. Please fix! I find myself playing this more than I thought I would when I first downloaded it. It is quite entertaining, but sometimes the levels feel rigged. Like during Treasure Hunts, I often get stuck on the final level, and cannot solve the puzzle. I know they're trying to get me to spend money to buy extra power-ups, but I rarely spend money on games, and that's not going to change. All in all it's a good game, and it would have had five stars if not for the pressure tactics. UPDATE: I think they revamped some things. I no longer get stuck at the end of the Treasure Hunts, and I really love the addition of the Expeditions. I play this game every day, whereas my other favorite games might only be played every couple of weeks. Beautiful game!

Used to be better. The game developers have become confused about who their audience is in the last year or so. This is a casual puzzle game for people who like to think through complicated puzzles and take a break maybe from other stressors in life. I find the puzzles relaxing. But recently, there have been so many bells and whistles added to make it flashier, and to encourage people to spend money, I assume, that the relaxing aspect has diminished. Trying to make the game more exciting has taken away from the original selling points. Also, all the windows that pop up up now before I can start the next puzzle have become annoying. I am still able to play the game, but I am not as big a fan as I used to be and my interest wanes when I get too annoyed with all the pop ups. I don’t know if all players would agree, but I would rather pay a small amount to open new worlds, say $0.50, than have all this constant noise about spending money interrupting my game play. I don’t want to pay to solve the puzzle because that defeats the purpose of it being a puzzle. I also don’t much care for giving me automatic boosts at the beginning of a puzzle...I prefer to solve the puzzle on my own. Solving it is where the reward comes from in a puzzle game. I will keep playing until developer greed gets too large and the puzzles are no longer fun....you are getting close.

Heartbroken. This app is the ultimate lesson in economics. What was once a beautiful, calming, and well designed piece of art is now nothing more than a thinly vailed money grab. I have been here since the beginning. Before Two Dots there was just Dots, and I can remember how stoked I was to get a 700+ score in the timed mode of that game. That was, sheesh, probably 5 years ago. That they’ve kept me on the hook for so long with a 2D phone game is nothing short of brilliant. When they put TwoDots out, I was floored. I was continually amazed by the frequent, creative expansions on the same basic principle. Slowly but surely however, I began to notice a trend. Victory could only be had after a certain number of ads were seen. I would be kept one move away from victory until I was on my very last life. If I did use a booster, and was on track to win, I would suddenly be given an impossible field to play (must sink 10 anchors, but even after 5 moves no new anchors appear). If I hadn’t used a booster box or seen an ad in some time, I could not win. Those are just a few examples. Somewhere along the way the investors and finance department took control of this team. And it became less about making a fun game anymore about creating insidious ways to coerce micro transactions. You have been warned.

Latest couple updates reducing minimalist charm. I’ve been playing TwoDots for 4 years now and I love the game. It’s minimalist, very relaxing, and I play it almost every night as I’m falling asleep. However, the last couple updates have been pretty terrible. There are more and more popups asking you to purchase coins, making it so that every time you open the app or finish a level you have to close out 3 different windows before actually getting to the game or home screen. The latest annoyance, the “win streak”, offers terrible power-ups that often prevent you from getting squares from the start of a level and thus make it unwinnable. When asked “Are you sure you want to give up? You will lose your win streak!” I often am grateful to lose it because the power ups have cost me so many games. The more popups and attachments and bells and whistles you add to the game the more charm it loses since one of the biggest draws is how minimalist it is. The past year has seen update after update challenge this minimalism, making the game less relaxing and more stressful. Because of this, it has become harder to play before bed and I have been using the app much less than in the past. If you don’t want to lose long-time players I would advise minimizing the in-game popups and ditching the win streaks altogether. I don’t need a “piñata party” every time I play and I definitely don’t need a “win streak” meter.

Entertaining but sometimes problematic. I found this game to be really entertaining and a good way to exercise the mind. I do have some problems with it though. For most levels one must arrange the dots to form squares, and use those squares to eliminate many dots at once. But there are things that get in the way of forming squares and make completing the level near impossible. I‘ve found that, for many levels, if one makes a single wrong move then making squares isn’t doable for the rest of the level. The game doesn’t seem to supply the dots in a way that gives the player another chance to make a square. Basically, the player is stuck swiping at random dot arrangements for the rest of the level until they inevitably lose. Another thing I really dislike are the win streak „boosts“. If the player wins a single level they will get a win streak. This comes with boost dots that, when eliminated, will eliminate many other dots at once. The thing that bugs me is that the boost actually gets in the way of finishing the tasks. It eliminates random dots in a way that isn’t helpful to making squares, so you’re stuck again just swiping at random dots. I actually sacrifice my lives and restart levels often just so I can get rid of the boost. So yeah. I‘m only writing this super long review because I wish the game designers could change these features to make the game more enjoyable. I already like it a lot, I just wish it were easier to play in these ways.

I don’t even know what I’m playing anymore. I’ve had this game for forever. It USED to be one of my favorites but after I re-downloaded it I’m always questioning why I did. For one, the game looked completely different than it had before (why are there so many game options and pop ups?!) For the longest I really only wanted it to play the scavenger hunts because in all honesty the realization that restarting a level doesn’t actually “restart” it. On candy crush (at least when I did have it years ago) when you restarted it you at least got to start with the same pieces. TD algorithm is set up to get your engagement and your money, not for pure enjoyment. They want you to play…even if that means having to do the same level 30 times. I’ve stopped spending money on the game a while ago, as I really only used it for coins to do the scavengers which at this point are just rewinds. OMGOSH and the amount of pop ups when you open the app, you HAVE to opt in to the challenges to even play and sometimes I may just be opening it for one round, but now they’ve given me an hour of infinite lives which end up going to waste. They should make it so you can either use or save them (to a max ofc) for later use like boosters. If I can find another game that feels and looks like how this game was years ago I’ll be off this for sure. It’s not even fun anymore.

You have to wonder…. This is one of my favorite go-to games on my phone and has been for a long time. It’s really fun, we’ll designed, and can be really enjoyable. So what’s the problem you ask? It creates too many situations in gameplay where you are forced to choose to either end the level you’re on without winning it, or, buy more turns and keep trying. Ok, you say, that’s the players choice and they can do whatever they’re comfortable with. However, when the game consistently forces this scenario to happen by not providing you with the very objects that you need to complete the level, i.e. a certain number of birds, ladybugs, clouds, lanterns, etc. and you have multiple turns left to finish it if they were only there, but you just end up spending them on eliminating dots, waiting for them to fall, but they don’t. You have to wonder… money grab. It’s too bad because I love the game, but I’m frustrated by the amount of times this happens and have had enough. Either create a one time charge for the game or throw in adds like all of the other ones, but stop taking advantage of people.

New 5th Anniversary Gamemode Bug. After fully completing 1 bingo sheet and being about halfway done with all of the bingo levels, after completing a level in the 4th year sheet, my game was stuck and wouldn’t actually complete the level, despite me completing all of the requirements. My game then crashed and now all of my data in the gamemode was gone. I really liked this new gamemode too because I was able to play with new mechanics and listen to new music because I haven’t gotten that far in the main game. Now I’m most likely not going to restart and that gamemode was pretty much the only thing that kept having me come back to the game. It’s pretty irritating to have spent powerups to beat those ultra-hard levels only to have the data over a bug. This is as close to a “major” update that we’ve had in a looong time that benefits ALL players and it’s not even correctly implemented. It even took away the trophy for year 2 that I got. This is a pretty big problem considering they are LIMITED-EDITION

Sexist ads. Well my previous review disappeared when I went to look at my review. The ads are disgusting and while the developer responded that they were going to look into it, I just encountered another horrible ad tonight, this time with the short shorts isolated out and an arrow indicating where the shooting happens right between the legs. HORRENDOUS. The ad shows a woman with her legs up in short shorts. This game apparently doesn’t care about the audience and the way they offend with the ads they are accepting. By the way, I thought these offensive ads were being shown only late evenings (no excuse however, as *I* don’t want to see them, much less my young daughter!), but nope. Saw them several times this morning at 9:30 am. One was a woman bent over in stockings and a bra. Another image encouraging you to play showed a schoolteacher and when you send in the balls to break the brick, it removes her clothes so she’s standing in underwear. The game ads are literally an ad for undressing females. What garbage is TWO DOTS encouraging??? It’s a wholesome game, so why is Two Dots debasing themselves with these ads??? They said they were looking into it immediately. That was weeks ago. Apparently they don’t truly care.

Amazing, Beautiful, and Addicting!. I’ve been playing two dots for a year now and it is such a beautiful game that puts your advanced thinking skills to the test- like chess. It’s such a fun and creative spin on the normal dot matching games! Firstly, it makes me sad to read some of these negative reviews. Are there ads? Yes. HOWEVER- I have never once seen an ad without choosing to do so. Where as on games like Words with friends you’re forced to watch the ads because they are always on the screen and play automatically. For me, the 5-30 second ad is worth it for me. If it’s not worth it, you don’t have to watch it. Next, I’ve gotten to level ~640 on my own, with plenty of free power ups and special moves, without buying them. It is very tempting, and they do advertise it a lot, but at the same time I think “buying to win” would take away the fun, strategic atmosphere to the game. Finally, there are a lot more features to the game than just the dot matching levels, (the “flip” games, the “find waldo,” and the special levels) personally I don’t play them too often, but I do see how some people get annoyed with all the new features, it is slightly overwhelming on the main screen. Overall, an addicting and fun game. Download it and see for yourself. I dare you.

So fun!. I’ve been playing this game for a few years because it is so addicting and fun! Each update and addition has only improved the game and made it more enjoyable. I love that you can choose when to watch an ad, and that for the main game play you don’t have to purchase anything to continue. I only have two critiques. The first is that the levels have gotten significantly harder somewhere around level 1500, where even introductory levels to new dots are difficult to win in the first couple tries, as well as the levels that aren’t labeled as hard or ultra hard. They should be much simpler and easier to win. Being stuck on a level for a month or more is discouraging and sometimes makes me take a break from the game for a while. The other critique I have is that I would love to see the hidden objects mini game turn into its own game. I like it SO MUCH better than any other hidden objects games I’ve found on the App Store, but when it shows up in Two Dots I beat the levels quickly and have to pay to play past level 2. I’d love to see this as it’s own game. Aside from those two things this game is the best in the market!

Love Two Dots!!!. But, I dislike it when I have earned and hour to play and there are no more levels to play. I lose hours and extras that I have paid for, but no levels to play. Obviously, I love to play Two Dots! So, either refund me my time or money if you guys can’t keep up with your players and keep the levels going. Would like a refund on lost time and other extras I’ve paid for and can’t use. Please and thank you! A lot of times I will use Two Dots to entertain myself while I am waiting for an appointment or standing in line and it never fails, I will when an hour of free play and I get called up for my appointment or reach my place in line. It would be awesome if you could have the capability of pausing your time so you can pick up where you left off. Please consider this option! Thank you for hours of enjoyment, but please keep up the pace! And, refund my hours and extras with a time limit that can’t be used because you can’t seem to keep up with me!!!

Most Important Tip: Keep Trying. When I first started playing this game, around when it first came out, some of the levels seemed impassible, and eventually I got frustrated and deleted it. I started playing again a few months ago and it seems different in a better way. I feel like the levels are more randomized and aren’t exactly the same each time you play the same one. On some of them it might take dozens of attempts, but I feel like if I play a level long enough, eventually I’ll get a random free booster or something will happen that will finally let me beat it. I’ve learned to just keep trying, even on the ultra hard levels, and eventually I’ll pass it. My girlfriend is in the high 800s of this game now (I’m only on 178) so I know I just gotta keep trying! One suggestion for the makers though - I think it would be cool if you could buy the “infinite lives” perk and be able to activate it at a later time so you could wait for that perfect moment when you actually have a bunch of time to kill like on a long flight or something.

Cute but inconsistent and frustrating. Obviously the visuals of this game are nice, and the base gameplay pretty enjoyable, but the levels vary in difficulty to an almost unplayable degree. Some levels are so easy that anyone can finish with 15+ moves remaining, others are so difficult they can hardly be done without many power ups AND incredible luck. Also, the UX does not feel intuitive at all. There are constant pop ups promoting cash purchases and unnecessary gameplay tips. If there are certain special dots present on a level you must wait for their animation to finish playing before you can move, and that may take some time depending on what mechanics are active. This often leads to wrong moves or just feeling annoyed. Worst of all, if you use your 3 bonus moves that are part of win streak rewards, the barely noticeable starburst animation around your move count plays for FOREVER before you’re allowed to touch a dot. Both because it is not noticeable and because it is too long, it’s easy to let a finger slip while trying to make your next move and waste that move. It’s like this feature is built in to test your patience. I’ve downloaded the app twice over the years and both times i have deleted it because it feels like just another scam in disguise built to infuriate you into making in-app purchases.

amazing, free version is totally worth it!. this game is super fun and i play it almost every day. it's super aesthetically pleasing, minimalist, and also fun. one of my favorite things about this app is that you don't have to pay, or watch ads to do 90% of the activities. in order to get a free "booster box", you can watch an ad on some levels, or you can buy them with keys(you don't have to pay for keys either, they are included in some gift boxes/rewards) i don't pay for anything, and i still enjoy playing the game. i don't think it's overcrowded with ads, although there are a few pop-up offers/special deals from time to time. i think it's worth it to have this game even if you don't pay. it's still possible to have a good time playing and not pay a cent. i have two minimal complaints, however. the first one is that there is no way to acquire power ups like shufflers or erasers without paying for coins. coins themselves also do not come in the daily reward gifts, stamp card rewards, or for finishing flip cards or treasure hunts. it is annoying at times. the second one is that the flip levels are extremely hard, even the ones that aren't labeled hard or extra hard. i usually end up wasting booster boxes or power ups on them. :( i know there's not much that can be done about that, and maybe it'll get easier with time. overall though, i think this app is definitely worth downloading, and i love that i can still have a good time playing it without paying.

Perfect game.. almost. I’ve been playing this game for a couple days now—and to say the least, two dots is a great strategy app, where there are so many different items and strategic placements that can help you throughout the levels, and in order to pass levels with high result requires a good amount of thought. My one issue with this game though, is the gold mine. The gold mine, which you “worked hard for” to earn, adds up to the chest until the entire thing is full for you to claim it. Hard work, right? Well that is pretty much useless once you hear what I have to say. After it fully adds up, you don’t get to just claim the coins for free and move on with your day, but rather have to PAY for the coins you’ve been working extra hard for, which mine was $2.99 for 50 coins (which is so absurd as the 18 coins purchase is almost the SAME PRICE). I would really like to see what they improve on with this, as it seems like they’re just doing it to milk money from all the people playing. I want results as this game is very enjoyable to sit down at home and use.

Addictive but has issues. Been playing a long time and I love the challenges. It’s very addicting and sometimes too addicting. However, there are a few issues that have developed: 1) I leveled out a month ago or so. I have had to wait a week or so to get new levels added, usually just a handful. I’m done with them that day and then have to wait for more. I appreciate the other side challenges like the Flip race and excursion that allow me to at least accrue “prizes” while I wait. 2) some of the aids (like mushrooms) are meant to benefit you but many times I’m almost through a level and the beneficial mushrooms actually skip over the items I needed to complete the level. This is really frustrating to waste your final move. 3) sometimes the squares glitch and don’t clear all the colors- has cost me games before! 4)some levels fail to provide the items you need to complete. I may have 7 moves left and need one chick, and never get another added! I’ve seen people complain about the “win streak boosts”, but I love them. I’m bummed when I lose them. They’ve won me way more games than theyve lost me. That being said, we need to remember that it’s just a game. We aren’t forced to play it. I might actually get more done while waiting for more levels!

Suggestion for developers?. I never write reviews but have become rather obsessed with this game (and spent a fair amount of money doing so). It is so much fun and relaxing while challenging at the same time. One thing I would love to see… If you beat the levels within the required number of moves and still have moves left, allow the player to continue using the remaining moves to keep squaring and improving their score. Or maybe give extra stars for beating the level with less than the required moves. Lots of opportunity to give extra awards! Thank you for considering it! Update… I’m afraid to say at this point it’s getting ridiculous how much money I’ve spent. I know they say you can beat the levels without spending money but I’d still be back on level 10 or something playing the same levels over and over. Lately I have been extremely frustrated because certain levels want you to (for example) drop 20 anchors.. but then you have to make several moves without an anchor ever even appearing on the board! Now you’re down to one or two moves and you still have four anchors to drop so you either have to use your tools that you supposedly don’t have to buy, or spend coins to continue playing. If I spend money to get five more moves I better be able to use them! Please developers make these changes!

Aggressive difficulty manipulation. I discovered this beautiful little game a couple of years ago and loved it right away for the minimalism and problem-solving. Unfortunately, the difficulty manipulation has only become more and more aggressive. I feel like I’m dealt unwinnable hands of dots over and over to frustrate me to make in-app purchases. I definitely often find myself, rather than calmed and having fun, full of explosive rage that leads me to close the game and not go back to it for weeks on end. I wish this game existed in a regular non-app form so you could just purchase it once for a higher price and then play normally. The monetization of these App Store games is overly aggressive and a huge turnoff. Two Dots is a beautiful game, but that just ruins it for me. Additionally, I was really into the scavenger hunts. They used to put out one a quarter and align with major holidays. Now the hunts are ridiculous overkill. Rn there are three at once with less time to complete each: one is the same one from last year, another is a completely irrelevant winter-themed hunt in July, and the third is an absolutely awful pixel art hunt that gave me a migraine headache almost instantly. My suggestion to the developers would be to tone it down and get back to basics. The entire game is unplayable to me now and each time I open the app I’m reminded why I stopped laying months ago.

Great game … but disappointing in the end. This game is wonderfully designed, interesting and addictive. I liked it and played it enough that I reached the end screen. But I needed some kind of parade once I got that far! A congratulations and big-time rewards and more. All I got was “more levels coming soon.” I like it that levels are still being added but I was annoyed to finally get to the top only to have nothing there. Once you have played that long, you are committed, so it shouldn’t take be that big a deal for the creator to celebrate and let go of rewards the first time it happens and for any time after that a player gets to the end. It was enough of a disappointment — and felt like same ol’, same ol’ — that I quit playing Two Dots and haven’t gone back. It made the game feel very repetitive all of a sudden. Occasionally I miss the fun search games — I hope you all are keeping those up. They add a nice variety to climbing levels. UPDATE: I rediscovered this game again and am going to quit it again. Once you get to the end, there is no fanfare and no extra rewards. It irritated me all over again. Even if heavy users keep reaching the end over and over for more and more rewards, does it really matter to game developers and profit at that point to give them some extra fanfare?

What happened??. I agree with all the other loyal players who are disappointed in the evolution of this game. I’ve been playing Two Dots for over two years and always loved it. It has always been a fun, relaxing, aesthetically pleasing game that’s just challenging enough to not be frustrating. It also allowed the opportunity to earn rewards and boosts without basically requiring you to purchase your way through difficult levels. Now it seems to have been made much more difficult and took away the boosts! The key system really doesn’t do me any good as it takes way longer to earn anything useful, and all the extra tickets and unlimited life stuff really doesn’t help as I tend to play when I get a few minutes free here and there throughout the day and not sit playing for hours at a time. (Unless trying to power through an expedition on a Wednesday night before it ended, which now seems to be an impossible goal as well) Please go back to how it was before, no fun now :( The latest update also seems to have some kind of bug that takes away the sound while playing. Ads still have sound, game randomly decides to go silent.

Message to the developers. Until the developers realize not everyone is going to drain their wallet into games they need to learn a few things. First, making a game too difficult to advance through does one of a couple of things. 1. Leads to the game being deleted and never downloaded again. It turns the game into a moneygrab especially when only spending money will allow you the one last move you need to advance. 2. It can lead to many bad reviews and thus lead to fewer downloads. 3. It can lead to fewer downloads for other games you develop when people realize they won’t advance through the game without spending money. Watching ads is a trade off, but being stuck on a level for three or four days is a turnoff and leads to being deleted. This bad reviews. Making a game where the easiest way to advance is by dropping money is not a fun or entertaining game. My message is simple. You are turning people off to this game because you want to make money and make it more difficult. Just charge for the game a coup,e f bucks and back off on the difficulty. Just a word to the wise. I’m just about ready to delete this thing and find a better game. You are making it too difficult and it’s not a life or death crisis. It’s a video game for crying out loud. I hope you take this to heart and learn from it.

Great game with minor issues. I’ve been playing this game for ages now and I love it. It’s my go to game when I need something short to pass the time. I’ve completed over 1000 levels and I’ve had a blast doing it. Recently I have discovered what seems to be a bit of a bug for me. I’m not sure when it was introduced but a recent version added these helpful blurbs that pop up on a level where you are unfamiliar with a new mechanic and will teach you how it works. This is a great feature but mine is malfunctioning. I seem to frequently get these popping up for mechanics I’ve had only many levels before and they consistently pop up time and time again on the same level if I don’t beat it. Beating levels doesn’t seem to affect the likelihood for them to pop up. You’d think that I’m far enough into the levels that there aren’t many mechanics I haven’t seen so this is a rather strange occurrence and I hope it gets fixed soon. Even with this minor inconvenience I love this game. Totally worth a try!

Not what it used to be…. I’ve played this game for years and truly used to love it. I’ve leveled the quests to the max, so appreciate they’ve added things for those long time players. As one of those players, I know within the first three or so moves whether I’ve gotten a board with a chance to win. Otherwise, there’s no point to play. When you’re newer the game is still refreshing and enjoyable. However, whatever algorithm they use for the boards needs work at the advanced levels. It’s either a 0% chance of winning, or you win with 8 moves left. Either way, there is no challenge or thought that goes into it. When this game came out it felt indie and fun and I was willing to spend a little money. Now, it’s so in your face with trying to push their worthless speed ups and things, it’s seriously like 10 clicks to start playing. I’m not sure what happened, but this is unacceptable compared to what I’m used to from the old days. In the end, I’d recommend the game to new players. It’s still relaxing and has it’s charm. Once you get the squids and random things you have no control over, don’t torture yourself anymore if it’s just frustrating. That’s the point I personally got to.

Mandatory pay to play = horrible user experience. This is a great game as far as the design and game play are concerned, for the most part. However, I’m not a fan of how it’s not actually possible to beat some levels without using power-ups, often multiple different power-ups, in fact. Even more disappointing is the “gold” (read: greedy) system…some special event levels require you to unlock them using gold coins. There are also tons of other features that require coins to activate. That would be fine if you could earn these coins in the game by doing certain tasks, winning them as prizes, etc. However, that is not the case - you have to use real money to purchase them. This makes for a really horrible user experience in what overall would have been a great game. Forcing people to give you real money constantly to continue to play the game makes things extremely unenjoyable. You should make it so that it’s possible to earn gold within the actual game instead of paying real money, and quite a bit of it at that, to purchase gold in the game’s “store”. Unfortunately this resulted in me deleting this game - it just wasn’t fun anymore when I wasn’t getting anywhere because I refused to shell out a bunch of cash. Very sad the developers made the decision to implement such a greedy business model.

Great game but.... I have been playing two dots since it came out I think 5/6 years ago? Point is I’ve been playing it a long time. I’d take long breaks so I could play it more often because I kept getting to the end of the game and I had to wait for updates. I have no complaints about that I don’t think y’all should work any faster. I am sad about the most recent updates though. I miss the doors in the beginning and I miss being able to look forward but now it’s blocked off so I have to get to those levels to see. I understand that might make it more intriguing and I might just be upset because I’ve liked it that way for so long. For me I just am sad I can’t see new beautiful art and see/guess what new things those levels will hold. I’m also not a huge fan of the whole coin system. There isn’t anyway to get the coins! You just have to buy them with real money. I guess that makes more money for you guys but it’s just annoying. I think there should be an option to buy a bunch but also a way to get coins like you get 5 or something every time you pass a section and get a postcard. Or be able to win them in treasure hunts or something. Overall beautiful and fun game I just wish there was a couple changes.

Frustrating unless you want to spend $$$$. I’ve honestly gotten to the point that I hate this game because I love so much about it but it’s just become so frustrating. I loved the little side challenges at first but quickly realized that they’re essentially unwinable without spending money on special moves or extra lives. I have yet to ever successfully complete any of the side games because inevitably you hit a level that you just end up playing over and over because it’s literally unwinable without extras. The main game is not as bad but I’m just not going to spend $20 a week or whatever to pass levels on some stupid phone game. I have no problem purchasing gold or specials occasionally but when I feel like the game is set up specifically so that you can’t win it without using a lot of special moves, then I just feel like I’m being scammed. And playing the same level over and over and over and over and over is just not fun -it’s not like it’s a challenge to get better at it, you just aren’t given anything you can win with no matter how good you are. Anyway, I mostly keep it in my phone at this point because I love the hidden item puzzles. I wish they’d make a whole game of just that. But any time I try to play the rest I quickly become annoyed and frustrated.

Addicted. I discovered Two Dots quite a while ago, and I have come to love this game. Unlike other games of the same genre, it’s not pure luck. As you play the game and advance levels, you learn how to strategize. One of my favorite parts about Two Dots’ setup is that boosters and cheats are easily obtained for free. If you need a little help on one of the harder levels, you can use a cheat without worrying about consuming your one-time allowance. The design is clean, sleek, and easy to navigate. I love that they don’t automatically give in-depth tutorials on new dots and what they do. It’s interesting to play around with it and discover the mechanics for yourself. For those of you left confused and needing more of an explanation, there’s a tutorials tab that gives you more of an idea what you’re dealing with. The game has different sections, which is an attractive concept considering I didn’t really like the monster dot section. The sections after that have been much more enjoyable to play, and I haven’t encountered a demonic dot since. 😈 The game developers provide updates with new content every week, which both squashes annoying bugs and gives players new material. Tom sum it up, I’m addicted.

Good Game with annoying setbacks.. I’ve never reviewed an app before, but I’m choosing to now because I enjoy the game but there are serious issues. At the core of the app, you have a really fun game that takes strategy and is admittedly really satisfying. You don’t have to pay for ANYTHING- unless you want to. You don’t have to watch ads- unless you want to. Which is great. But the game is LITTERED with random side-games, distractions and annoyances between games that’ve just as bad, if not worse than ads. I can promise you, if I wanted to play a tedious version of where’s Waldo, I would have downloaded where’s Waldo. It’s extremely annoying to tap through these pop ups. It’s like bloatware designed by the developer and implemented into their own app. Additionally, you’re forced to use power ups at the beginning of matches if you’re good at the game. This seems to help you at first, but actually swaps out the strategy out of the game in favor of randomization that - I promise - will make you lose more than once. I’d rather never use power ups because they’re actually just a ploy by the devs to make you lose the game and buy MORE power ups or skips because you think you’re bad at the game. All of that being said, I’m probably gonna Lee playing the game despite the annoying setbacks, because overall, the core game is fun.

Race Glitches. Hello. My Gamer Tag on this game is Fluffy Moon. I have been on and off Two Dots because of a consistent glitch in the game. It happens during the race days. Every other level I complete, I see a loading symbol where the race standings are and I have t wait for that symbol to disappear and for the purple or green symbol to reappear so that I can check the standings. When that glitch happens, I miss out on all the stats I earned for that particular level I completed. So, I’m losing out on basically a few hundred to a few thousand stars per race. Is there anyway to fix that hitch? I originally thought it was my service because I do reside in areas where the service sometimes was weak but I am with Verizon now and their service is top notch. Always have full bars and yet I still see this glitch? I hope the developers fix this so that me? And possibly anyone else experiencing this problem, doesn’t have to keep experiencing these problems that take away from the enjoyment of the game. Thank you for taking time to read this review. Have a wonderful evening!!!!!!

Creative, colorful, fun app! JUST ONE THING. ~2021 UPDATE!~ PLEASE READ AND TAKE TO CONSIDERATION THANK YOU! :) PLEASE fix your daily prize part of this app!! I’ve noticed you guys change the doors with gift boxes which is cute and all but IT DOESNT SHOW UP EVERYDAY! And then it would say I missed my streak. This is frustrating because I open this app everyday just to get the daily prize. :/ So please, App developers fix the bug or glitch that is going on with the daily prize not popping up everyday! The daily prize really makes a difference, it helps me pass many levels, also the win streak power ups are really helpful thank you for adding that as well. This game definitely makes you think, which makes it fun and challenging. The different themes and levels are what makes you coming back for more! I’ve been playing this game for over a year now and I’m not tired of it at all. JUST ONE SUGGESTION: can I use my golden keys for some power ups?? Can we make that a option game developers!! I would honestly play this game everyday if I could but with me being on a budget I’m not spending $5 -$100 dollars on 5 erasers and 6 booster boxes. No. I’m sorry. I have soo many golden keys that I would like to use them on things that are worth it. The extra lives to me aren’t worth it. PLEASE READ THIS AND TAKE IT TO CONSIDERATION PLEASE. :) :)

Annoying enough to quit after playing for ages. I’m finally getting rid of it. It’s addicting and fun, but it also is infuriating how unlikely you are to get extra moves from the wheel unless you watch several ads, and then probably not. If you click for extra moves, it’ll land on the left of that. When you try to correct it by clicking before the extra moves one, it’ll then land on the one you clicked. So sick of watching ads or taking forever on a level that is difficult to win without the special items. Really taking advantage of the fun and addicting nature of the game huh. Progressive auto ads were the best thing that happened to the app, and now that I am seeing other ads again, I’m annoyed. I know ads are complained about everywhere, and something here to stay, but they aced it with Progressive and it made me bitter when they went back to ads of matching games where the player thinks a hamburger and a soda are the same thing. Outside of ads, a rec for the dev team: change the colors in the default version. I’ve always been a little disappointed with their color selections. They have a color blind option—which is awesome—but as someone who is not color blind, I have a hard time telling the difference between the colors. Bad contrast ratio.

This new update has messed up everything. I used to LOVE this game and spend hours upon hours every tuesday over-completing expeditions to get lucky chests and basecamps. Now, however, the basecamp system has gone haywire. Instead of the expected rewards from each camp. Certain camps will give 6 tickets??? 6 tickets won't even fit on the ledger for extra tickets in an expedition so 3 of those are completely gone to waste. Also, basecamps give out keys now?? I am sorry but keys are completely useless, especially since they give only booster boxes and no other power up. And NOW the booster boxes they give aren't even permanent. Im sorry but if daily doors (which are also overrun with keys) and lucky chests (which only appear by chance during a weekly 48hr window) are the only ways to get useful powerups now, then I'm done with this game. It was scarce enough already as a free to play player, now its just ridiculous. And another complaint. Why are previous powerups not saved when you uninstall the app, but your progress is saved? I think the items I work hard for should be stored when my phone crashes or gets lost. I had 15 of each powerup that i had saved over months, and when my phone was stolen it was all gone. I love this game but these changes are so disheartening so I will be uninstalling until a patch is made.

Good but frustrating issues. Lately every time it offers the opportunity to watch a video for a free booster box, the screen freezes. Yesterday's upgrade didn't help. It usually takes 5-10 minutes of repeatedly going back to the app to see if it has cleared yet. I also agree with the person who wrote about the irritation on the constant in-app purchase requests. I'd gladly pay a one-time upgrade and to need to do some things to earn extras, but I am never willing to make in-app purchases. Updating this 2 weeks later. Still having lots of problems with the videos to get free lives or booster boxes. Try to load for a long time, then screen goes black and rebooting iPad is only way to get back to being able to use game. Please make sure the videos are a reasonable size and will play. Updating many months later. I love this game, but I am so sick of having to “reboot” my iPad because of videos that won’t play. Please fix the ads. Problem is so frequent that I find myself playing less and less. Why is this so hard to get right?

Flip two weeks playing time. I really don’t like now that the Flip games only giving us two weeks to complete 4 levels of game boards. It was about 30 days and 5 levels of games. The individual games are also being repeated more frequently. Please go back to a month before ending. Now after two weeks of the current Flip and barely completing half the games a new Flip isn’t available, nothing to play right now. I like to get the games needed to go up a level and after getting to the end going back and playing more games on the lower levels. Trying to complete the whole level. When you made the switch for Flip to be available for only two weeks you said the next set of games would happen immediately. There isn’t a new Flip available right now. Please give us 30 days again. Also thanks for giving us “one hour of infinite lives” for free but why can’t it be used for all areas of the game? I’ve never bought one because I am not sure where I can use it. Also you don’t explain if it must be used immediately or can you store it like you can with booster boxes etc? I want the infinite lives to be used with all of the games, like Flip and not just the main game and having the ability to bank it. Flip is what I keep coming back to Two Dots for. I’ve been playing over 3 years now.

Annoying Money Grab. It’s actually a super fun little game. There were a few things that annoyed me initially, but mainly just because I’m not a patient person. Every level or two I’d beat, they’d introduce a new feature that I didn’t see a way of avoiding to continue what my mind was already focused on instead of switching gears to whatever new shenanigans and being made to play it. Now that I’m further in the game, that doesn’t happen as often, and even if it did that alone wouldn’t be the cause of my 1 star review. Probably would have given it 4, or even 5, stars. It’s not that big a deal HOWEVER, what does annoy me is that there are these little maps where you have to find a set number of certain defined objects. They’re pretty fun and a good mindless exercise to do. But I can’t play them, because I refuse to spend money on this game, and the only way to play them is to spend money. That’s extremely harsh. I get having in-game currency and having the ability to buy it. However there should be a way to earn it, at a slower and perhaps more annoying or effort full way than just buying it of course. But not having a way to earn it by playing the game, having the only way to increase your coins be through purchasing them, and then requiring coins to even play pieces of the game … is ridiculous and I wish I could give negative stars for it. Do better.

Not really free. Pitching this game as "free" is misleading. It's free for a few sessions and then becomes very limited unless you're willing to shell out $10 over and over again for in-app purchases. The game starts out as fun and visually engaging. Very quickly, it becomes very difficult so unless you're content staying on the same level for days you'll be driven to buy lives, boosters, etc. And they're not cheap. An attempt at a level only takes a few minutes to complete so you only get to play the game for a short period of time without needing to buy more lives or boosters to continue playing. You can also "earn" gold to buy the boosters but you have to pay $10 to actually receive the gold you "earned." It's like working all week and then having to pay to get your paycheck! The scavenger hunt side quests are fun and beautifully illustrated but you only get to play a couple rounds before you have to pay for those, too. It's worth downloading because the initial play is fun and the graphics are cool, but you'll want to delete it as soon as you start getting prompted to buy your gold or boosters.

Fun game, shameless pay-to-win. Title pretty much says it. Two dots is a great game with a very simple premise complicated by different types of challenges. I'm all for game developers getting theirs, but some levels are downright impossible unless you're incredibly lucky or buy (essentially game breaking) power ups. I mean...some levels will present you with a unique challenge--say "circuit boards"--, then they'll offer to sell you a "circuit breaker" that pretty much wins the level for you. Like I said, shameless pay to win. Also, I’d like to point out that some of their level design is so blatantly geared towards making you use (i.e purchase) power ups. Just painfully obvious. It’s like they design a level, ask themselves “what’s a well balanced number of moves?”, and then subtract 5 from that number. It’s their game, I’m just playing it, they can do whatever they want. But one would hope they’d be a little more sophisticated about it. By the way, I haven’t paid a dime to play this game or use any boosters, but I’d haves paid a one time $4.99 or so to buy a well balanced version. That would not make for a very good revenue stream or business model, would it? Can’t catch any whales that way.

New update?. I’ve been playing this game for YEARS! I’m on level 3808. It’s always been my go to for down time and whatnot. I opened the app today and noticed there’s an update and the daily goals are gone! I’ve made a point to try and play everyday at least a little bit and the daily streak is gone! It’s a bummer for me honestly. I do really like this game and when I had an issue a few years back, I got a reply almost right away and they helped me figure it out. I’ll still leave 5 stars for that aspect but what happened to the daily goals?! Also, please do more scavenger hunts! They are really fun and the art is great. Just keep politics and virtue signaling out of it. **EDIT: the daily rewards is there but it’s just not on the Home Screen anymore up in the top left. You have to start playing along the trail and you can click on the bottom banner too see the daily check in and the fill up card thing before you start playing the level. I’m glad it’s not gone!

Great game, but…. I really enjoy this game and you probably read most of my thoughts in the survey you asked us to do. I guess I am a little disappointed in a couple of areas. I miss the old shell game daily, though I understand why you would change it to encourage returning players. I just bought the gold mine for ( I think) the third time - 50 gold for au$4.99 and saw the mine limit go up to 90 gold. I was gladdened because I’ve always had a good feeling about this game. Its Indy vibe make me feel like the creators are hopefully more about their art and the enjoyment of their game, rather than necessarily focusing on the money. I thought it was pretty awesome that they would reward my purchase of the gold mines by giving an increase to the gold! I would def buy it again when full! But then I saw that the price had doubled to au$9.99. The gold hadn’t doubled- just the price. It wasn’t a reward for loyalty! It was the opposite! Not only was it no longer the price of a coffee, which is about my weekly limit for these sorts of games, but you actually made me feel like the game was greedy for the first time. I totally understand that you have financial requirements, and I don’t resent that, but the cool vibe of two dots has kinda dropped a bit for me when faced with greed. I hope that you care about your game as much as I thought you might and either fix the price or at least get rid of the 90 gold mine, if you don’t want to penalise loyalty.

The treasure hunt is the best part. This game can be very frustrating at times. I only get a small number of shots to complete levels before I run out of lives, and there’s not enough incentive to make me want to come back each day to keep trying. I love the scavenger hunt mini game. It’s my favourite part. But I hate how I can only do two parts of it before I have to pay for the other ones with coins. I don’t have any coins and I don’t know how to get any without paying for them with my own money- which I’m not going to do. I ended up just downloading another game altogether that’s just the scavenger hunt mini game, but instead it’s the only game on the app and I don’t have to pay to unlock levels. It’s very fun. It’s called ‘Scavenger Hunt’ and the icon is a magnifying glass with a red balloon in the middle, in case anyone else is only here for the treasure hunt mini game and wants more.

Not what was advertised. I downloaded this game based on ads in other games but the ads for this game are totally misleading with not 1 game the same as the many ads I’ve seen advertising this The game itself is very repetitive and rewards are non existent. The gold you get for passing a level ends up in a pot which you then have to purchase to use. This is greedy. I don’t mind paying occasionally but to not reap any benefit for passing a level is not satisfactory. The game itself becomes extremely difficult to pass without using boosters or coins. I made it to level 159 but it is now boring, too difficult to pass without spending money

Gold Coins. You should be able to earn the coins rather than having to buy them...game can become impossible without a power up and you can only get them with gold, which you have to buy! In Words with Friends you can earn coins to use for power ups, why can’t this be similar. It’s a money grabbing exercise, otherwise it’s a great addictive game, beautifully presented.. Now they’ve decided to make you play the ‘spot the items’ game. You can do two levels, then you have to pay..come on, stop the money grabbing..

FALSE ADVERTISING. When you see the ad it shows and says TWO DOTS, joining them together in a circle. Once it is downloaded it is hundreds of dots in a square trying to join the most possible and running out of moves, and only joining TWO DOTS each move made, the first level can never past! Instead of hundreds of dots and hundreds of different ways to go It’s a shame the game isn’t what it says. It would be more interesting to use your brain when there is only one way to join the two dots together, the way it shows you! It is just like buying a jar that says and looks like peanut butter, and once you open it you find it full of vegemite! Otherwise I haven’t really found any interest in the real game it is!

Elegant and immensely enjoyable. I first started playing two dots less than a year following its launch and I have been playing it nearly everyday for years. Today, I surpassed level 3,000. As I said in the title, the game is immensely enjoyable and elegant but also at times increasingly challenging. In all the years I have played the game I have probably spent less than $50 on purchasing functions or additional moves. Unlike some other games, the in game purchases are not concealed and I’ve never felt pressured or tricked into to purchase additional game functions. I also found the developer to be approachable and helpful on the rare instances I had any difficulty. There is in-game advertising (usually to unlock booster boxes) but I find the advertising (however annoying) far less intrusive and a small price to pay. Definitely recommend!

I love it. I have been playing for years and it is relaxing, challenging, diverse and regularly updates. One thing is killing me at the moment. I work offshore and the daily gift crashes the app and I have to restart. I also miss out of the gift for the 3 weeks that I am away for. But I do love to play daily. Ilove the scavenger hunt. For new people thinking of joining. You can play and enjoy the game without buying any extras. Your daily rewards, keys and challenges offer you the ability to get the extras without having to pay. Give it a go, the music is wonderful and the graphics beautiful. You can buy the albums on itunes and download dots and co to play when you have run out if lives and waiting to reset.

Great game but…. I don’t get the whole coins thing… every time you pass a level it makes it seem like you have earned coins (like most other games, you finish a level or certain point and you get a small reward of some sort) but then a pop up tells you that your gold is full and in order to be able to keep your coins, that you’ve apparently earned, you have to pay for a gold mine etc. but you haven’t actually received any more coins! Eg. my gold is full so I need to purchase a gold mine but I still only have 5 coins? I get that apps need to have their profit side, however, you also need to cater to the clientele who like your game but can’t afford to just purchase rewards whenever they’re needed! They’re the ones who would continue to play consistently especially when there’s a small daily or repetitive reward.

My Favourite. This game has been my favourite game for years! I love so much about this game, but my favourite aspects are the cool events, especially the scavenger hunts! The attention to detail and level of inclusivity in them are so amazing and bring me so much joy to play. I wish I could express to developers how much I appreciate them and their efforts! I will happily continue monetarily supporting this app to finish all those scavenger hunts! Keep up the fantastic work, and to anyone considering a download, it’s such a high quality game!

Used to be great, now they’ve lost a player. I’ve completed over 400 levels over the course of a few years. I used to love this game but as time as gone on the app has become bloated with annoying pop ups and useless features. I want to solve puzzles. Simple. I’m even okay with some micro transactions. What I strongly dislike is the million different pop ups each time I open the app. I do not care about collectibles, events, medallions, avatars or treasure hunts. For this reason I am uninstalling the app. I enjoyed the hours I’ve spent solving different puzzles and I even kicked in a few dollars to get extra lives on occasion. But I do not want to be bombarded with pop ups when I just want a solve a puzzle.

Fantastically addictive but beware the money grabbing tactics. A really visually incredible game and simple enough yet with constant updates so you’ll never get bored. Don’t be tricked into spending all your in game gold straight away though, the “overflowing mine” is pay to use only. Even though they suggest that you already have too much currency and need to spend what you have to make room for your winnings, you can only collect those winning by investing in a mine which costs actual money. There are some other sneaky ways they try to get you to invest your money in the game, including a lengthy wait time for your lives to renew and an ridiculously steep difficulty curve. Always be aware of what your clicking on and you’ll be okay. Two dots is still far and away much better than some of the most popular games in the store at the moment.

Fun but overstuffed. This is a fun game however it is definitely overstuffed. So many badges, avatars, boosters etc etc it’s impossible to keep track. I usually play a few levels then tap out because I get sick of all the pop ups and extra stuff that doesn’t make a lot of sense. Then i leave it for a while, forgetting the irritation of all the extra stuff, and after a while come back, play a few levels and start the cycle all over again! Having said that the scavenger hunt is fantastic- I wish they’d move it to its own app. But allow you to pay for a hint or use the in-app currency. Waiting for the ads is a pain as they’re often a minute long.

A very fun app!. I really like this game and have been playing it since 2015. I lost my phone once and I was really devastated because it means I lost my progress at level 300 on Two Dots as well. I learned my lesson and connected my progress to Facebook since then. Recently I bought a new pnoe and downloaded Two Dots however, I was a little upset that the boosters & power ups was not synched. I’ve work hard those and I really hope you could fix the problem. All in all, it is still a great app. Cheers.

Will hound you for money. I love this App in that it’s addictive and beautifully designed... but geez, prepare yourself to be hounded to buy stuff, connect to Facebook, watch videos to “earn” more lives etc. It really detracts from the enjoyment of game. Particularly annoying at the moment is a glitch where you watch a 30-second video to get a bonus life or booster only to see a black screen at the end. This means closing the App and starting again - and worst of all, upon re-launching, you haven’t received your free life or booster. So you try again and the same thing happens... so frustrating. Please fix as I’m close to deleting.

Best Game Ever!. Love it! So addictive...So much variety of games. Love the challenges. Daily prizes. New games each week like expeditions etc. Only one criticism...when you get to really high levels the prizes still remain small. Would like to get 5+ on a prize- bubbles, shufflers, vanishing dots and surprise boxes when you get to levels over 500...if you are an avid player you should get better rewards...just saying! Plus need an opt out button if you don’t want to buy gold coins after being asked 100 times.

Beautiful, addictive game! However …. I’d like to start off by saying that I love this app! I love the game and I adore the art! It’s simple, fun and addicting! However, I hate that it seems I’m unable to REALLY progress without spending real money. I understand that the developers of the app need to be paid, but I would rather pay a flat game fee instead of needing to buy coins. I would happily spend anywhere from $5-$12 on this game! As well, my favourite part of the game is actually the finding parts! I’m not sure of their actual name but I love going into the worlds and searching for the little objects. I love how interactive and challenging it can be! I actually wish this were a seperate game!

Cool art to detract from the constant prompts for $$$. Fun enough puzzle game. I got to around level 450+ without spending a dollar but watching videos (note these games also have ‘in app purchases’) for bonuses which are absolutely necessary to progress. The constant attempts to get money at every opportunity by wasting cash on in game perks is tiring. I understand this is how companies make their $ but reading some of these reviews points to how happy they are to take advantage of an addicted consumer. I finally deleted the game when ‘slime’ was introduced as it’s seems near impossible to beat certain levels without a lot of bonuses and it’s not at all enjoyable.

Used to be great…. Over the past year there have been a number of changes made to the game, more advertising, and more bugs! This was one of the games I’ve supported from the beginning as it has managed to stay away from that horrible business model of stuffing the same 5 ads in your face every 3 minutes (unless the user chose to view an ad for additional lives or whatever). Apparently money now beats user experience. As for the bugs, many of the old mechanics don’t seem to function correctly much of the time, the first try win doesn’t register all the time, and the daily bonus errors every few days then resets despite playing a couple times every day. None of it is that big a deal, but for the amount of effort going in to monetizing the game, the least they could do is make sure it plays properly. As for the user survey… most of the questions don’t even remotely relate to the game for improvement purposes. For all the advertising that’s being stuffed in the users face now, it’s clear that it’s not enough and also trying to use their customer base for free market research for whatever other purpose. It’s been a fun game for years, I’ve 3 starred every level up to the current 3800, but unless the next update fixes the bugs, that’s enough for me.

Almost really good … ultimately awful. Almost really good… I’ve downloaded it about half a dozen times, and deleted it just as many … it’s really creative, but its mechanics, which tend towards pay-to-win the longer you play, always end up being so frustrating I get angry and delete it, remembering at last why, for all it virtues, I hate this game. If it charged a one-time fee, and then played fair in terms of reward for wins, I’d be happy with that. As it is, it’s all about limbic hijack (I.e. making you addicted, even while you get more and more frustrated), and then milking you for money. The opposite of a great experience, appalling really … all the more so because some genuinely good design elements are in evidence. If you love Prune, Alto’s Odyssey, Monument Valley etc. do not download this, it’s the antithesis of such masterpieces.

Disappointed in the click bait ads. I’ve had this game for many years and enjoy playing intermittently. I’m so disappointed to have seen loads of ads recently to advertise a game with different gameplay but links to this game in Instagram. This game is good as it is, don’t join the trend of lying to get people to download it. It will tank your reviews and make people lose trust in you.

Ads & Poor Customer Service. The game has become littered with offensive LONG advertisements which in the past did not exist. 😡Much of the game time is now wasted by being force to wait for the offensive and repetitive advertisements to end. Every second level is interrupted by these ads. 🤮🤮You can’t even close the game to stop the ads since you will loose the whole previous completed level. So they trap you in having to sit through the ad and waste time. Game play now has become an arduous experience with much frustration. Not only that the customer service for other issues is hopeless at best😤. Coupled with their ultra left political messaging within the game.

Full of glitches. After playing this game for several years (yes, I'm addicted) I can't recommend this game. They have two competitions, one is called 'Square Race'. On numerous occasions over the past couple of years, I've noticed that points are, quite often, not registered and it acts as a handicap when playing the game. I contacted the admin who was either arrogant, ignorant or stupid (I haven't fathomed which) but overall, was quite ambivalent to my concerns and issues. I say arrogant because they believed their app had no issues, I say ignorant because they didn't care and blew me off and I say stupid because they now see me here, slamming them in a review- NOT the best outcome. Yes, it's a good game but if you're as competitive as I am, you be sharing my frustration. I cannot recommend this game!

Can be frustrating. Overall the puzzles are enjoyable. Perhaps the developers offer multiple opportunities to help you progress. Sometimes it literally takes one move, while some only after dozens of attempts. So luck does play a part - whether it’s pure luck or manufactured, don’t know. I would love a video replay option, with slo-mo. When a game ends in a flurry, it would be nice to know how it happened! I also would like the option to continue after the goal had been reached. If I needed 10 of something, would be nice to see if I ended up with 12. And watching things blow up can be rather therapeutic. But the frustrating part are bugs. I have an 11-inch iPad Pro and game sound has never worked except via headphones. Early on I’d need to kill and relaunch the app, lately it’s doubly frustrating when it’s an ad that causes it. Worst as I’m hoping to get an extra life to finish the game. You can earn a Boost at the start too, but the ad getting stuck means you lose that ability after having to restart the game.

Stunning in so many ways. Pleasing on the eye, sooooo many levels, lots of mini games, challenging enough without getting frustrated. Also love the music and how sound effects within game play always seem to go in time with music track. I just love this game I never get board with it. I got lost just exploring the background images to the map through each level. It’s a work of art. Congrats! But Two Dots!!

Fun game, irritating features. I’m currently on the most recent set of stages (Marshmallow Mills), every time I finish a level I get a pop up telling me that the new levels wil come out in 10 days. I know, I’m happy to accept it once but it’s irritating to have to exit out of over and over again. A few months ago the game was testing a variant of the keys shop where it capped at 999 keys and you couldn’t earn any extras - again, fine, but I didn’t know this and hit the 999 cap. It’s now reverted to the old shop with unlimited keys but my keys are always a number ending with 9 or 4, really hate this and would love if 4 keys could just be subtracted?? Like it’s impossible to change on my end given that the key cost is always ending in either 0 or 5.

Stacked against you. The further you progress through this game the more it feels like in order to move forward you have to make a purchase. With some of the levels you’ll need to clear a certain colour or type of tile which will just not be on the board at all so you have to waste moves just trying to get it on the board. The idea of the gold that can be earned for completing a level to buy tools to help is good, but it can only be accessed by buying a goldmine so you actually get no reward without a purchase. I also think the daily reward is bugged as I open this app at least once a day, yet somehow missed a day which reset my reward progress

Fun but flawed mechanism. So I have been playing the scavenger hunt for a while now, and you have to pay for it to enjoy the full map each time. I have no problem with that and pay it every time. Until I realise the money I paid each time was a once in a lifetime experience. I can’t replay the map I finished, which I think is exploiting the user experience. If I bought a switch console and a Nintendo game, I would expect full ownership, but in this case, it’s different. Already stopped buying the scavenger hunt because they need to stop robbing people money.

Scavenger Hunt should be it’s own game. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again! The scavenger hunt game should be its own app, I would pay for the game itself to play its the best! I’ve given up on playing two dots since the level I’m up to was incredibly hard and it got less amusing to play, this was about a year ago. But I check in every single week to see if there’s a new scavenger hunt, but it’s really disappointing you can only pay two levels before you have to pay a ridiculous amount to play another.. it keeps me coming back but not to actually play the main game and I would really love to see it become its own thing! It’s one of a kind

Stolen power ups a drag. I was enjoying this mildly frustrating game, working my way through the levels and trying to access power ups through their challenges. I had about 15 banked up for use when a level got too much, I felt set. Then the new update came and THEY STOLE ALL MY POWER-UPS! Really? You make it harder to achieve them, want me to in-app purchase to buy them and steal what I've earned? As you can see, this review is now not so complimentary. Give me back my power-ups you money hungry developers! PS even more in app purchases to annoy you now. I’ll play until they make it too hard to beat levels without spending money. Won’t be long then.

Nice, but…. It’s kind of a cute and quirky Indy type game, but the devs added more and more to it to the point where the games is now a hodgepodge of game modes and power ups and badges and mini games. I lost track. In Artistic Avenue there’s seemingly no way to get the Construct Court other than paying. Unless I’m overlooking something. It’s definitely not clear. And as usual with these games, once you surpass the initial all rewarding experience, you’re asked to go to the checkout, ie. #paytowin. That’s when I deleted the app. Thanks for all the fish 🐬

Enchanting. This is a wonderful game that is full of constant innovation and bonus activities. It has turned out to be the one game I constantly play and it has kept me enthralled for years. Any time I've needed tech support they've been quick, helpful and super friendly. There's the occasional ad but very reasonable and even the most difficult levels can be passed without buying kits etc. Classy ;)

Meditative and challenging. The music and graphics are very calming. There are a lot of games like this on the App Store, but none with as beautiful graphics that I’ve found. The game design is really good too. There’s a great mix of challenging levels, and easier levels. The makers seem to understand that you want to have really hard levels, but then after you’ve won that ultra hard level, you want one that’s a bit easier so you can chill and retain interest. There’s also a huge variety of obstacles to defeat, like ice, fire, blocks, monsters, etc., and they all act differently so require different strategies. That keeps things interesting. I really enjoy it.

Feels like a passion project in the best way. This is the first mobile game I’ve played in a long time that really feels like the creator is saying “I have all these cool ideas, let me show you so that you can share the fun” instead of the far more common “give me your money/ad revenue.” The object search games on the side have become a main draw for me, after being disappointed in other games that are supposedly all about that. These boards are packed with pop culture references that seem like something the artist has had a lot of fun fitting in, and the rising challenge scale keeps it interesting for gameplay as well. I’m playing them for the bonus content, and only incidentally earning rewards for the main game, which makes me feel like it’s actually worth spending money to unlock more.

Don’t bother downloading. When this game first came out 7 years ago it was great to play. These days the creators is driven by greed for you to make purchase to win levels and there is still no guarantee of winning. When I played the game 7 years ago difficult levels could be knocked over in a day or so. Now it can take weeks to beat a level. I’ve lost interest in the game as it’s boring playing the same level over and over. Don’t get a lot of time to play, back in the old days 30 minutes a day you could make reasonable progress. Treasure hunt and rewind you get through levels 1-5 in one or two turns, then level 6 comes along and can’t be beat. Opening the crates aren’t to random, on some levels opening crates gives the exact same power ups and is weighted against winning. I come back to this game after a 12 month break for the above reasons and it’s only gotten worse. Don’t waste your time downloading. There was a time I was happy to make the occasional purchase but not anymore. Streaks are pointless as they’re impossible to get. If I’m lucky enough to win an hour of unlimited lives it has to be used immediately and it’s usually at a time when I don’t have a lot of time to play so it gets wasted. The constant pop ups of purchase something is annoying.

Wonderful game. Hi team TwoDots, Hope all is well. I would like to share my appreciation of the great game u have created. I can tell that u guys made a lot of effort into it, the animation, graphic, sound, the intelligence of each level, just perfect. At least, suits me as a critical game user. Even the little vibrate when win a level, it's shutal but I can tell every piece you have put in, are amazing. I can feel the soul of this game. It's a piece of art; outstanding of a combination of tech+graphics+game design. Ur game is easy, smart, low entry but can be challenging at the same time. What's greater are: free, no ads, can play offline. I installed this game for years, I played almost every time when I'm on the flight. It's just perfect. Love your work. Hats off to you. Cheers Tiger

Great game for about a day. Super enjoyable at first, relaxing. But there were a few levels that were actually impossible without spending premium currency or boosts. I mean actually impossible. These games start off where you play using skill then after a while make it a flip of the coin whether you would win. Even if you make every single correct move they will still be unbeatable without spending money. I prefer games that give you a sense of accomplishment when you beat it. When you restart a level it should look the exact same for every player because it should be winnable every single time and not a gamble. I loved the look of the game, I loved the different modes, but the greediness was a deal breaker. Twice I spent 9 premium coins (that’s 18 total) because I thought I had another life. The game should really pop up and ask if you want to spend premium currency. I’d rather the game have constant ads and I have to pay $10 to get rid of them then have these issues. I did really enjoy this game.

Amazing. Two Dots is an amazing game the graphics are aesthetically pleasing to the eye, the game is a challenge but you always will come back for more. Firstly the graphics are amazing each season has its own individual design and I just can’t stop myself from looking at it! The game has a 2D art style some may say simple but the game contains lots of details here and there. Definitely buy this if you want an aesthetically pleasing game. The game may be challenging but a challenge is nice every once and a while, with all the technology doing everyday tasks it’s nice to sit down wind down and have a little challenge. A great game for someone who needs or wants a challenge. You can’t stop yourself, the game is addictive to say non the less. With all the high scores daily challenges and mini games You always come back for more! You may get frustrated with the game for not winning but you’re sure to come back for more. Buy this game and you’ll never stop! Two dots is amazing, wonderful art style, hard challenges but you always come back for more. Two dots even included a colour blind thing to make it easier. Definitely worth the money. BUY TWO DOTS!

It takes real money to play. I initially became interested in this game via an Ad I saw in another game. I downloaded it to find he app had no similarity to what was shown in the ad, however I decided to give it a go. I initially enjoyed the challenges. As I progressed through the levels I found the only way to go further was with boosters and other assets and the only way to get these was to buy coins using real money. In other apps you can do activities such as the find and search to get coins, but not this app. Even the option to view an ad when you loose a level goes and only option is to pay with coins. After your initial allotment is gone Coins = Money! I have deleted the app.

Too greedy. Your game is amazing and you’ve done a wonderful job creating an addictive game and I’m certain I’m not the only one that enjoys it. With all that support why do you feel the need to gouge our pocketbooks to the extent you have? For example; At one time I could enjoy the scavenger hunt specials for free, the fact that you have now begun charging for that is really annoying, and I feel you’re too greedy. I’ve given you far too much of my money already. And I can no longer support such a greedy game company.

Misleading advertisement. I saw an ad for this in another game which made it look interesting, however the ad showed a gameplay format that is totally different to the one in place. This one is drawing lines and clearing like coloured dots, the ad showed a more puzzle like game where you had to fill a drawing with colour where no one colour was adjacent itself in the sections. I’ve hunted and hunted in the game for the puzzle game I saw in the ad and it’s just not there. I played over 170 levels thinking it might be a side game once you reach a certain number of levels - nope. This game you actually get to play is ok, but nothing to write home about. It also is poorly designed in the sense you can’t earn gold coins through game play unless you buy a vessel - which it appears you don’t even get to keep (I could be wrong on that as I didn’t buy it) You are assigned some gold coin when you join but you can earn more without the vessel to put them in. You can’t play certain challenges unless you use gold coins to enter. The game is not that much fun that I would want to regularly buy a thing to collect gold coins in. My biggest reason for review though is the false advertising. I certainly don’t like being tricked into downloading a game based on an advertisement then getting something completely different, that’s poor form.

Key shop?. I really like playing this game and I REALLY liked that you added a new section to “the shop” where you could use keys to buy items. We always get given keys and they just accrue (I don’t use them for anything). So it was not to have to buy gold (using real money) to purchase items from the store - being able to use the keys instead. Will you bring this feature back? Also in the scavenger hunt elements - it seems to cost more gold to play and less gold as a final reward? Im playing this game less now because it seems like some things have been changed purely to get more money out of us

Worth it!. So normally free apps aren’t very good or require you to use real money to progress. But guys, this game is actually amazing. The whole design of the game is so aesthetically beautiful, the levels can be really challenging and it’s so addictive. They do monetise it a bit which is fair considering they obviously want to make money off their product, but you can still play without any in game purchases, it just takes a little longer than using boots every time you get stuck. Overall I wouldn’t say I have any complaints and I really enjoy this game

Misleading?. I have no idea why a game like this, which has its unique play style, would advertise itself as something totally different… And yet. I saw an ad for two dots while playing another game and thought, based on the ad, this looks interesting. When I downloaded the game I thought it looked different to what I expected. I played a couple of levels and came to the realisation that the game that was advertised had absolutely nothing to do with the game I just downloaded. Why? Is it simply to raise your download #status? Or are enough people happy enough to be conned into playing this? Your ad makers are untrustworthy and I don’t trust anymore.

Disappointing. This app used to be great fun. But now it’s just not working. Cannot move up levels as it doesn’t recognise when you explode things. For instance watching lantern after lantern explode but no score being added. Same with the chickens. Turning the diamonds for the board to explode and not recording what went when it did. Pointless playing as you try to met the targets but how can you when the app doesn’t record what’s happening. Was a favourite but waste of time now. Also getting constantly charged for in app purchases I’m not making. No idea how it’s getting past iTunes security. at least it gets refunded.

Addictive. Enjoying this game but even though I have completed over 100 games I still have no idea what I am doing. Just keep tapping away, hoping for the best. One change I would like to see: to be able to abandon a game when it is clearly unwinnable and start again. Particularly with fire dots. The game can become unwinnable very quickly but the player has to waste time and get bored hitting dots for no reason. Just let us abandon the attempt and start again.

The worst game. This is the worst game. The levels are ridiculously hard after a certain point. Where other games let you earn far more coins and give far more boosters for passing levels, this game is mean and is designed just to take your real money. If I buy a board game from a shop, I pay once for it, I don't have to keep paying the shop everytime I play it. I know there are system updates that need to be kept up and salaries have to be paid as well as profits made, but shops have overheads too. If 1000 people spend 10 real $ etc. a week on this then that would be a tidy sum right there. Ask anyone if they played Farmville, or the Candy Crush games and you will find that they have almost died out because they got too hard and too expensive. Developers, wake up to yourselves. I do enjoy the scavenger hunt but it is too long in between waiting for the new ones. The Dots games are virtually impossible after a certain level, at least without spending real money. The gold mine is a grab at real money for sure. Why after filling it up, do we have to buy it. I play another game and it has a goldmine which, once you reach 50 coins you can have them for free. Another 2 games, and far better than yours, gives coins at the end of a game whether you beat the level or not. The games are not easy but at least some boosters are available. I would never recommend your game to anyone.

The Scavenger Hunt. The core game is fairly simple and repetitive, with a strong degree of luck involved in the player’s success or failure. I personally got bored of it rather quickly. However, there is a side game within the overall game that I absolutely adored... The scavenger hunt was so much fun and had an amazing art style that my eyes could explore for hours. The issue is that because it was a side game, I was forced to go back to the inferior core game when I ran out of tokens or when I completed all the quests. I truly believe that if the scavenger hunt was a game of its own, it would be far more enjoyable and popular. I sincerely hope that the developers will consider creating such a game.

Love. I love this game! I haven’t spent any money on this game and it still offers me so much! It’s probably one of the only phone games left that doesn’t shove ads down your throat. I love all the different games offered alongside the main quest and the challenges. It’s so generous with the 1 hour unlimited play too. I don’t even mind when my lives run out and I have to wait because if they didn’t I’d probably be too addicted lol. Wouldn’t change a thing!

This game has helped me immensely!. This isn’t really a review of the entire game but in particular the scavenger hunts. I suffer from severe anxiety and panic disorder. I found this game a few years ago now and have been hooked ever since. My favourite part of the game is the scavenger hunts, there has been countless times where I’ve been anxious and on the verge of a panic attack and I open up the game to take my mind away from what I’m feeling. Playing the scavenger hunts helps me shift my focus from whatever I have going on in my head and forces me to focus on finding the little hidden objects. I know it won’t cure my mental health issues but it really calms me down and has helped so much.

Seriously addictive. I absolutely love this game - such a simple premise but deceptively difficult. I love the different challenges, fantastic. It never gets boring. The only issue I have is the need to purchase gold for boosters etc. It would be great if keys were able to be used to purchase these. I’m on a limited budget and can’t keep buying gold. Also disappointing that you need to use gold to play the treasure hunts. Please consider using keys as an option here too.

What happened?. This game has become unbearable. Ads aren’t a problem but the constant pop up menus asking you to spend money and time on side quests have no pay off and are just another money grab. This game used to be so simple and calming and it’s the complete opposite now.

Scavenger Hunt. The scavenger hunts are the best part of this app, but lately they aren't nearly as challenging, which is really disappointing. The items are hardly even hidden now. They're just sitting in wide open spaces and they don't even blend in to the background at all. I'd love to see the former, more challenging, scavenger hunts as a separate app.

Only Game I Play!. I love this game! It’s well made and challenging. I find a lot of games to be boring because they’re too easy. Not this game. It’s challenging enough that you won’t get bored while playing it, but it’s not too hard that it’s unplayable. You also don’t have to watch ads unless you choose to (for prizes that help beat levels). You can definitely make it through this game for free, buying gold is totally unnecessary. The scavenger hunts are so much fun. Like other reviewers, I would love to an app just for them. I do agree with other players that the pop-ups are rather annoying (e.g. I see that Flip is available, I don’t need to be taken to it every time I open the app). I also agree that earning gold but needing to pay for gold you’ve earned makes no sense. Again, you don’t need the gold to play, but earning it and not having access to it unless you pay seems contradictory. However, if you can look past those couple of things, you’ll really enjoy this game.

Amazing game. Don’t listen to those calling this game a ‘cash grab’. It is as free as you want it to be. I have been playing this game for years and have not needed to spend any money to get past levels. It is fun and wholesome and quite amazing for a free game!

Best game hands down. This game is beautifully designed and extremely fun. Could not recommend more.

Not what I wanted. The add for this app said I would have a game where I had to make a town of colours and the same colours could not touch but instead I got a game where I had to connect dots and because I did not get what was shown to me I will be rating this app one star

Issue. I love this game and I purchase coins to unlock things, however lately the daily gift hasn’t come up when I turn the game on and when it finally does, I have to pay 7 coins to save my streak… it’s happened twice now and I do check in every day… is there a way to check in if it doesn’t automatically pop up? I don’t want to keep spending coins that I buy but I don’t want to lose my streak.

Really enjoyable.. I really enjoy this app. Have been playing for about a year. Now At level 1535. Without ever spending a penny on the offers of special tools or gold coins. Yes I open two dots every day to get a ‘gift’ and play the expeditions on tuesdays to get more gifts. But otherwise it’s a great way to challenge your brain for thirty minutes. Or less. You run out of ‘lives’ quickly if you can’t solve the level. So you can go back to the real world having had an interesting mental break. Just make squares ! 😀❤️🇨🇦👍

Scavenger hunt is my fave. Love this game. My favourite are the scavenger hunt ones that appear on occasion. Please consider making a downloadable game that’s just those. I would pay to play that! So relaxing and fun. I can’t find anything similar to them on the App Store.

+1: please make the scavenger hunt an individual game app!. Love the scavenger hunt/summer shindig even more than the dots! I mean I love them both but the scavenger hunt really deserves to be an individual game app!

Coins. Hate the fact that you have to buy the coins in order to play the whole scavenger hunt game or buy coins to do anything. You should be able to play the game without needing to buy coins if you don’t want too.

False advertising. Shows you one thing in the ad, but is totally different when you actually download it.

Too many adds. The designers overhauled this game around 01 mar 23 to insert long boring adds into the game. You’re forced to watch them and there’s no reward once they’re finished (except that you’re allowed to play again). Buh-bye

I like this game and play it all the time but. I am 1 star reviewing it because they are running misleading social media ads which portray a completely different game. Don't be a scummy company, y'all. Run ads which accurately describe your product, or don't run ads.

Misrepresent themselves. A beautiful game, but they misrepresent themselves in their click bait advertisements. The game is completely different from what you think it’s gonna be. Then the games gets harder and harder and impossible. The hide and seek game is amazing but it’s just a tease cuz you have to buy the gold to keep playing it.

Not like YouTube ad. Installed based on gameplay seem on YouTube connecting dots. But gameplay is nothing like the ad. No drawing with a pen to connect dots with none crossing lines. Why!

Scavenger Hunt Own Game!. loooove this game but the scavenger hunt/hide and seek game is top tier. i would PAY for a separate app that was solely the scavenger hunt game!!!

Stuck at level 12. You can only move forward if you pay. That early in the game? Level 12? It’s a joke.

Not getting gold. You really expect me to pay real money for the gold I earn in game? What a scam. I keep beating levels and it shows gold falling into a treasure chest but my count always remains at zero :/

Can only get ahead if you purchase tools. Very discouraging game, you can’t get extra tools or aids unless you spend $ on them. You can’t earn by winning and playing. Just a money grab game!

Newest update is bad!. Newest update makes the game freeze every couple of moves… please fix !!

Going downhill. I’ve been playing for years, gotten to level 4450 (in addition to all the side quests and hunts), and have never ever spent a single penny of real money. So it is possible, despite what other reviews say. My issues are with ads getting progressively more annoying and longer over time, plus super loud without the option to mute (I play while listening to podcasts, which the ads interrupt). Secondly, the game crashes more and more often right after I pass a level. It’s starting to happen every 3-4 levels now, where the whole thing just suddenly shuts down and I’m back to my home screen and when I open it again, my progress and passing is gone. Super frustrating. I used to really enjoy this simple, cute, peaceful, and colourful game, but it’s getting worse over time. Perhaps I’m expecting too much from something I’ve never spent money on? It might’ve time to delete it since I’m not playing it as often due to these frustrations. Oh well, was fun while it lasted.

Going downhill fast. I loved this game so much when I started playing a year ago. Fun concept, excellent design, good game. It used to be that the ‘check in’ or level winning prizes - WERE ACTUALLY PRIZES YOU COULD KEEP and use on later levels - now - there’s this aspect where the ‘prizes’ you win are only given to you for 15 min and then expire. So you NEVER win anything to help you. Even the ‘shufflers’ don’t shuffle to give a square anymore. Nothing-no erasers, no colour pops, nothing to assist lasts longer than the 15 minute window you are graciously given to use your own damn prizes that you earned, and then get told how you can use them. Seriously debating deleting this because it’s changed into a waste of my time.

please make the scavenger hunt as a separate app !!. Love the game but I would loooovvveeee to play the scavenger hunt as its own game

False advertising. The video ad for this game is completely different to the actual game

False advertisement. The ad for the game is completely different that’s the game

False Advertising. Found the app through a Facebook ad and it is a completely different game than what they were showing. I recommend not using this app so developer stop using this manipulative tactic. If they have a good game they shouldn’t have to lie!

Scavenger hunt paywall locked. Wish I could play all scavenger hunt levels. Would be willing to watch ads or pay once to unlock, but I can’t fathom paying 1-2$ per level that’s crazy.

Tired of those stupid false info commercials. Another app that push stupid commercials that do not reflect at all the actual game.

FORCED ADS NOW??. This game used to be so relaxing and stylish, but it has become a deepening quagmire of ads and in-app purchases prompts that interrupt the game play. This was still (barely) tolerable until a couple of days ago when suddenly FORCED ADS started appearing between levels. This is too much, especially since any "prizes" the player might have earned are almost always on a timer, so now you have to wait out a series of purchase prompts AND an ad before moving up a level. RUDE.

Ad server. And a buggy one at that. Avoid this game.

Game changer. Great game when it first came out. Game has become all ads. User no longer has option to view, ads are forced. Ads take user to websites to download their products and quite often freeze screens on mobile devices. Game has changed to require more “boosters” to win levels, boosters must be purchased or gained through viewing ads.

Ads between levels now?. Two Dots used to be a sublime, relaxing experience. Now annoying, sub-par ads are interrupting the flow! 😩 Otherwise a phenomenal game!

break the bank to play. You have to constantly pay to play, for gold mine, for side quest, for challenges. Every time you return to play it’s suggested you spend upwards of 20 dollars within 5 minutes.

Way too many “offers”. This game is so annoying!! All I want to do is play but the game is continuously interrupted with other pages and different games within two dots.

Used to love this game. It crashes nonstop now and tries to force you down rabbit holes of games and features that you can’t skip. I just want to play Two Dots (amazing); not spend time trying to find my way back to it because of all the extras they force you to see.

Fun with too many ads and wastes space. Too many repeat ads taking 30 seconds at a time becomes monotonous. Also was taking up 2GB on phone. Recommend getting a better hobby to spend your time in this 1 life.

False advertising. Not what was shown on the Instagram Ad

What happened???. Excuse me? But what the heck. Game became EXPENSIVE. I am out.

Ads are annoying. Why im deleting this game: -The ads are way too long -They are tricky with requiring you to play the game in the ad Ive had this game for quite a while, it’s even ridiculous that you have to pay money to advance in the scavenger hunts. Love the simplicity, beauty of the game, and music. Im done with games that waste my time with ads. No thanks.

GREAT GAME, BUT. I’ve been playing Two Dots for years and have never minded watching ads and videos for prizes. However, the ads and videos seem a lot longer now, hard to get out of… continually tapping on “X” or the arrow, just goes in a loop and takes ages to get back to the game. I do not appreciate that. I also think we should be able to use some of the gold we have earned without having to buy it. Other than that, it’s a fun game that rewards thinking, planning and paying attention to detail.

Would be fun, if not for the constant micro transactions. I take serious issue with any game where you are given a set amount of lives and, if you lose them all, you either have to wait several hours or spend money to continue playing. This is made even worse by the fact that some levels are seemingly impossible without buying bonuses and power ups. This isn’t really a game - it’s just a cash grab.

Timed rewards are horrible. I’ve stopped playing the game because you changed the reward system. It used to be that you could build up a reserve of items to help you. Now - it’s all timed. Boo.

False Advertising. I watched an ad for this game while playing a different game. Directly from that ad I click to download this game. This game is absolutely nothing like the ad. Nothing. Honestly, the actual game is something I might have played… but I am so sick and tired of seeing ads that are nothing like the actual games, I am deleting it. If you can’t advertise your actual game, I don’t want to play it.

Coins. Maybe getting rid of coins that I spent my hard earned money own is a terrible idea? People are living lives and are not playing this game every single day, that the 24hr countdown of when you decide to get rid of coins that the player has paid for is quite counterintuitive. What is the point of purchasing the coins if the player does not have the CHOICE of when they get to use it? Is this app really that greedy? Do you want players to enjoy the app or is disguised as a plan to steal from us? $8 may not seem like a lot to you, however, to some it’s more than “just $8”. Especially when spent on a game

Watch out for double purchase scam!. Yup! That's right. SCAM. If you plan to play the game be aware of the fact that in-app purchases that are doubled seconds from each other. I have contacted the developer MONTHS ago about this issue - they are well aware of it, at this point the glitch is not a glitch but a fully intended scam getting double money from the players. Shame on you!!

Disappointing changes to rewards. This used to be my favorite game, but not anymore. Really dislike the change to time limited rewards. Why change something that works? It looks to me like you want the user to start paying for rewards. I’ll stop playing this game before I will ever purchase something the game used to provide.

False advertising???. I kept playing this game, waiting for the games I saw on the ad to come around (sorting colored water in the bottles and the same colors not being about touch). Where are they???

Crap. First, no screen rotation. Play on an iPad, so rotation a must. Second, false advertising - shocker. I downloaded the game because it showed other puzzles than just matching coloured dots. Third, super boring. Matching coloured dots? Seriously? Deleting.

Not the same game I seen in the ad. This game is completely differnthan what I seen in the ad

Too much pop ups and filler content. This game used to be my all time favorite mobile game. After putting it down for quite some time and recently coming back to it, I’m completely put off by all of the pop ups for this thing or that event. There’s so much going on in the app now, and all I find myself wanting to do is play the main game. Instead I’m bombarded by 4-5 clicks to close this pop up or that pop up, just to get to the main game. I’m not interested in any of that content...at all! I wish there was a way to completely turn off that kind of content. Would make for a better user experience in my case. Because of this, I would no longer recommend this game as I once did. I’m likely to put it down again soon, and maybe for good this time. It’s really sad to see the path mobile games have taken. Everyone wants to inject micro-transactions and “ask for money” with constant pop ups (and I’m not talking about ads). 🤷🏻‍♂️

Imaginative, consistent game exploring new ideas. First off, I have been a die-hard for this game for years. I am (only) around level 800 or so but I was hooked back in the day and would impatiently check for the next updates. This game might actually become the oldest app on your phone because it’s very easy to put it down and pick it up as opposed to a game you get addicted to and then delete a month later. Their creativity is forward-thinking and sometimes their game mechanics are not fully developed. I definitely have less favorite features of the game - like most reviewers, I don’t care for the “keys” function. And as many other people said, I’ll definitely get stuck on a level or bored with a theme (150 levels or so per theme... some are better than others 🙃) and get frustrated enough to stop playing for a month or so. But, they’re often coming up with new ideas, mechanics, and mini games (I LOVE the scavenger hunts!!) to keep it interesting and inspiring. Some people complain that the mechanics try to force you to purchase items to advance in the game. It can be frustratingly challenging sometimes for sure, but for crying out loud, the artists and devs have got to make a living somehow. Also, the ads are optional, which I really prefer to uninvited pop-ups. Overall, you’ll love it, you’ll hate it, it’ll make you laugh, it’ll make you cry. And it’s impossible not to adore the quality artwork and soothing soundtracks.

Fun, Addicting, But be careful. I’ve been playing this game for awhile, over a year. It’s fun and addicting. But if you go ahead and begin purchasing coins to win easily, this app began doubling purchases without permission. I had played and kept track of my purchases and how much was being going to be charged to my card. When I got my statement, there was $1200 total on my card within two months. I tried to contact the app and wrote three times to get this fixed and they wouldn’t remove the charges. I deleted my card and started over. Played awhile without purchasing but then I bought a one time .99 cent pack and when I received my credit card statement I had over $50 charged on my account and they wouldn’t take it off again. I deleted my card. I still play and enjoy this game but don’t purchase any coins to play, EVER. They seem to be stealing money and they have enough of mine.

Don’t believe the ads and it is NOT free!. I should’ve paid more attention to the still shots of the game in iTunes…but I was looking more at the constant barrage of ads for the game showing a color puzzle in the sand. I really wanted to solve that puzzle and although it may pop up eventually… not sure the dots can keep me interested enough to do so. I did like the hidden objects games within until I reached a certain level and they wanted me to pay to continue. There are so many other games truly free to play I don’t feel the need to spend money here. Just more greed from developers. If the developers are reading this, tool packs and ad free is the way to go, but to require $$$ to continue playing an event, that is a crap move and really just turned me off of this game. UPDATE: completely irritated with this game and deleted it!!! The best parts of this game cost $$ to play!! Sick of these grubby money hungry developers. I’ve never ever played a game- never- where I had to pay to play in special events. Note to developers- thats not where you get the money, tool packets are what more people are willing to spend money on.

Fun but in-app purchases so beware!. This used to be completely free. I’ve played this for years. There are several ways to collect Booster items, but they all used to be free once you collected enough points. Now you collect keys and the only thing they can purchase are Booster Boxes and extra lives. There’s the daily “choose a door,” but they used to give you an extra try. Now you get one chance to win some Booster items. And finally, they have you collect coins after you win a round. With the coins you are able to cash them in, literally, for $2.99 for 50 coins. That $2.99 only buys you so much. And I’ve found that the higher I go, the more necessary it is to have a lot of extras like the eraser or the target, etc. In order to gain enough extras to win Ultra Hard rounds, it’ll cost you about $6 sometimes. I miss the olden days, not so long ago, when I could easily collect, for free, enough of those extras just by completing an Expedition!

Game of Luck, Some Skill. I was addicted to this game when I first started playing it. However, after a few weeks, it’s just an annoying app on my phone that takes up 5 minutes of my time until I run out of lives. The thing I like least about this game is the fact that it is truly random. When you lose a round, it reloads in a different order; there is no “puzzle solving” for a lot of these as there is limited learning from previous mistakes. Second in line is the fact that some levels are just not winnable without using boosts. This is compounded by the fact that the levels reload with a different ordering of the dots, and without being able to learn from previous mistakes, it’s a pure gamble of whether you’ll get a good layout. Third in line is that after you do win a level, you have no choice but to use a boost at the start of your next round, which can often clear out half the game space so that you barely play the level at all. It’s a fun game, but after about 3 weeks of it and getting pretty far along, I’ve just found myself more annoyed with the upper levels than anything. I don’t spend money on games, and I spent a little bit at the beginning just to “save” the coins that you earn after winning a level. It turns out that that the feature only lasts one time and you have to continuously buy storage for the things that you’ve “earned” in the game. All in all I’ve just come to wish it was better long term and actually helped my brain more.

Great game, except for win streaks. Been playing this game for years. The latest update with the win streak is the only reason it’s not 5 stars. Please remove the win streak (or at least make it optional). It takes away the challenge and the entire point of the game. I have to waste a life to remove the streak. I’m on level 2544, and I feel like I’m on level 2 with these win streaks. It’s like being an expert computer coder and then being forced to take a beginners keyboarding class as a prerequisite except it lasts forever. In response to other reviews, you actually do not need power ups or booster boxes to win any of the levels. I have gotten to level 2544 without using any (except like 5-6 years ago before the door prizes, they had daily treasure chests that are today’s equivalent of booster boxes). Yes, I’ve been stuck on some levels for weeks at a time, but out of principle, I refuse to use power ups and booster boxes. I have hundreds of power ups and boosters saved up. I have missed out on treasure coins and rewinds because of refusing to use power ups (and there’s a time limit so that’s why I don’t eventually beat them). But I’ve beaten 2544 levels without power ups.

Unfortunate. I am a new player to Two Dots. Once I figured out the mechanics I had a lot of fun with the game for several hours. But the further I got, the more pay-to-win it started to feel. As the puzzles get harder, they become more random and power ups and win streaks become more important to maintain. Because there’s no in-game way to earn gold, I ended up spending $10 to buy some. I quickly realized it was a waste of money, as $10 worth of gold gets you nowhere. I could easily see myself spending hundreds of dollars on this game over time if I was really addicted. I have no problem at all paying for games and I realize these companies need income. I’d much rather pay a flat up front fee for a good game then feel like I’m getting squeezed for a few bucks every time I start it. To be clear, it’s possible to play Two Dots without paying money, but if you’re dying a lot at the higher levels, your gaming sessions are going to be very short because of the limited life mechanic. If you’re looking for a good time-waster that doesn’t constantly ask for your money, this unfortunately isn’t it unless you’re already exceptionally good at it.

I absolutely love this game!. This game is challenging, fun, addicting and of course frustrating when you get stuck on a level. I discovered this app 3 or 4 years and have been playing it since. I’m still far behind in levels, but I mean the app updates and adds more levels like every single day! I can’t keep up! I love the new mini game. The Halloween soirée (I think that’s what it was called). Please please make a Christmas version or do another Halloween version or general version ASAP!! I loved it because it reminded me of “I Spy”and I loved those books when I was a kid. One thing I don’t like is that you can only play the mini game by unlocking it with the gold coins. I really don’t think that’s fair especially when you have to actually purchase the gold coins if you don’t have any already. I had to buy more gold coins because I didn’t have enough. But I guess that’s Apple stealing more money from consumers. Go figure, capitalism at its finest. Still love the game though.

5 stars down to 4 now down to 3…. I loved the game for the first hundreds of levels until I got to the slime, which outpaces you at about twice the rate as you’re clearing the dots, so you can quickly become overwhelmed with slime. The game takes an unfair advantage here without giving you any wherewithal to catch up even when you use some of the banked tools like the shuffle. Next, the arcade is billed as a diversion from the main game, however the resources for the arcade isn’t separate from the main game, so that if you use them up in the arcade you also are left with the deficit when you come back to the main game. This is inherently unfair. Furthermore, the game will also leave you in a lurch when all you need is a bonus of 5 extra moves to remove the last obstacle, but the bonus spins keep giving you something else until you have no bonus spins left, and have to give up your first try win streak bonuses… This is why this game had started out as 5 stars and is now down to 3… 😕

Best iPhone Game, with Flaws. I downloaded this game years ago and it has always stuck around as an addictive, relaxing game that I can play in between calls at work or when I’m going through stress. It is so calming and I rarely had to buy anything. Now there are constant ads that pop up and we are constantly bombarded with trying to buy something. And on top of it all, they used to make you work for power ups. Now they basically make you PAY for power ups because they will only offer you timed ones where you have to continue playing for another 15 or 30 minutes just to be able to use it. Outrageous! It has made me stop playing the game because I used to work really hard to get my rewards and now if I am in a pickle, I barely have the power ups to use because they are being extremely stingy with the rewards. I think this is the best iPhone game in my opinion to free yourself from stress but it has lately added on stress while playing which makes me rethink playing the game.

Used to be 5 stars for me. This has been my go-to game for downtime for years now. I’ve plaid it almost daily, sometimes for hours, for two or three years. Unfortunately recent changes have added so many distractions that it has become less enjoyable. There are more things to click through after completing a level to get to the next level, and these are generally things I have no interest in. There are more jarring popups when you start the game before you can even start playing. The final straw for me is the Flip game-within-a-game. When there’s a new one available, it throws a pop-up at you that you can’t close without starting the Flip game. You can’t start the level you want to play until you start the Flip game, click through two instructional screens that you’ve probably already seen, and then close the Flip game. Even the Flip music is annoying. What used to be a very relaxing experience has become just irritating before I can even start playing. Very disappointing, but I’m sure I’ll find better use of my time.

It’s fun but it’s not worth it. I’ve been playing this game for a couple weeks I got to level 257. I think the game itself is fun, but it’ll cost you money to continue playing. I feel like at least past level 100 the game is designed for you to use power ups. When you use said power ups one of the only ways to get them back is coins. Coins can be won in small quantities or bought. I feel like without an effective way to farm coins the game becomes worthless because you can’t effectively level up without paying. I fell for it a few times, but me and almost anyone in their right mind really can’t afford to spend real money on in game currency. I understand why the developers would want to charge money to continue playing because the game is pretty much ad free. I appreciate that aspect and I acknowledge that they need to make a profit, but coins are way overpriced. This is a game I played when I was bored, and now I have to delete it because I can’t really continue playing without spending money. I kinda wish I could get a refund for the in app purchases.

Money grubbing ruins the experience. I love the aesthetics and basic concept of the game. Unfortunately, as so many others have mentioned, eventually most players will hit a point where they will have to spend money to continue playing or beat certain levels (either by buying extra lives or purchasing boosters). This recently happened to me so I decided to delete the game. There are plenty of other freemium games out there where in-game purchases are helpful but not necessary. If I could spend 5 dollars once to be able to keep all the coins I earn, I would, but it doesn’t look like that’s an option. The game is also pretty bloated and cluttered with special offers, time-limited side quests, and worthless prizes. Plus, why do I need to watch dots explode when I beat a level if it’s not doing anything for my score? My suggestion to developers: slim things down, get rid of unnecessary bells and whistles, offer a one-time purchase option for keeping the coins you earn, and make sure that the option to watch an ad for an extra life actually works.

Built to Spend Money. Alright. I’ve played this game before, deleted it because it was so frustrating, and a year or more later have downloaded it again. This game is so frustrating. You earn keys but can’t buy useful items with them. Your gold mine is full but you can never access it unless you spend more money to “store it”. Levels are very hard and can’t be beat without using a booster box or earned items like the eraser or blasting one color. BUT you can’t buy any of the tools, blasting colors, bulls eyes, erasers, shuffler, unless you spend the $$$ to keep gold in the mine. Why do you earn keys? What’s the point if you can’t use them to actually buy things to help you move up levels? You have daily prizes, but unless you stop playing and just open the app for daily prizes, which you save instead of use, there is no point. You get 20 keys, or 1 shuffle or color blaster. It’s built to make you frustrated and spend money because the game doesn’t want you to pass levels or succeed. So. Frustrating.

Love it, but... (+colourblind mode). I’ve been playing 2Dots for a long long time, it’s been my favourite go-to game for years and I play it almost everyday. I’ve mainly really enjoyed the little tweaks and updates but I’m disappointed with the new Key currency. The power ups are a big part of the gameplay and now they feel too precious to use since keys can only really buy you booster boxes. I’m hopeful that if enough people dislike the new currency system they’ll roll it back. I won’t stop playing the game over it, but it makes me way less motivated to actually spend my real-world dollars on something that is frustrating me more often. Also, I play almost exclusively in colourblind mode- which is great, definitely one of the better CB modes I’ve experienced (adding the little symbols to the dots helps SO much)! If any devs are looking through reviews please make a dark Background toggle for colourblind mode! It would help me out a lot when playing at night.

Love this game, but annoyed.... I LOVE this game and absolutely recommend it!! I’ve played it for years. My biggest annoyance, however, is that to get coins, you have to literally spend real money. This prevents me from being able to use certain features in the game, like getting some extra moves at the end of a level when I literally need ONE extra move to win, or playing further into the special hidden object levels (which I LOVE but I am out of coins, so I can’t play them further). I don’t think it’s unreasonable of me to be unwilling to spend real money in order to play a ‘free’ game from the App Store. I would love to be able to use the keys I earn in the game to purchase coins, or even to play bonus levels like the hidden objects without getting any rewards for winning. I just hate being locked out of certain features without shoveling out cash. That said, there are plenty of things to do without having to spend money. Like I said, I’ve played for years and have never spent a single penny on it... I just hate that I miss out on stuff unless I spend money.

Was good, now deceitful. I enjoyed Two Dots off and on for a long while, but I will be deleting after seeing changes recently implemented (apparently by new owners.) They now have completely deceitful ads showing gameplay you will never encounter in the app. I am so tired of this bait and switch practice that runs rampant with game advertisements—I guess deletion and poor reviews are my only way of making a statement. Two Dots seemed like it came from ethical developers before, but the new owners have lowered the standards. The actual gameplay is good: the main “dots” puzzles are challenging and different than the standard-issue matching games, yes, it can be hard to progress without buying boosters (which I have done), but is possible and they always gave you some options for winning boosters for ad-watching or by chance. Like many others, my favorite part of the game has always been the scavenger hunts, and those don’t happen often enough to keep me playing. That will be the only thing I will miss when I delete. The guy who does the illustrations for the hunts should break away and make his own app. I would pay for that!

really disappointing. deleting.. first of all i think this app only has good reviews because people play it for a little give it a good review and never touch it again. i’ve been playing this game for three years. religiously. the first 800 levels are great but anything after that well.... i know it’s supposed to be more difficult the more you play but it shouldn’t take me days to complete one puzzle. it literally ruins all of the fun. i dont even play anymore because it’s more annoying than entertaining. after level 800 it’s literally all up to chance on if you can finish the puzzles because if you don’t have a perfect set of dots from the beginning you literally have no moves to make. and it’s impossible to get a shuffle. just a giant waste of time. there’s no technique that could possibly win these levels based on pure skill. the creators of the new levels it honestly seems like all they care about is getting people to buy boxes because the levels are set up in such a way where you can’t win without them. ANNOYING. take my advice delete this game or don’t even install it and get risk instead. MUCH better games can be found.

I love this game, but..... I love this game, have had it for years. I love that it is constantly being updated and evolving. With that said some of the updates are kind of aggravating, for example the hard and super hard levels, some are CRAZY hard. I was stuck on level 456 (I believe) for a year or more because I didn’t want to spend $ on perks. I finally cleared it yesterday. Now there’s a new update where you can collect gold coins in a mine. It said it was full and you have to pay to increase the storage. I did it thinking I’d be able to hold coins there indefinitely. UH NO! What a rip off, why would I continue to pay $3 for coin storage? That’s kind of crazy. If I pay $3 for increased mine storage it should Just be that. It holds 50, you can use them and refill an unlimited amount of times as you Collect coins up to 50. That’s crazy that you can only hold 50 coins if you pay every time. Update…. The new updates now have actual ads?!? And you still want me to pay $2.99 to keep the gold I earned??????!!!!!! That’s outrageous. Dropping down to 2 stars.

Good game with an asterisk. UPDATE: Thank you for continuing to add new levels. However there is a problem with level 3134. There are not enough zaps from circuits to clear all neon signs. It consistently hits 11 of 12 with no other option to zap the last one. Hope you can fix!! Btw trying to use the CONTACT US feature also does not work properly. Keeps getting an error and won’t allow submission. I’ve played this game for 2000+ levels which I wouldn’t do if I didn’t like it. However, there are a couple aspects that require me to chastise the developers. First, they will often manipulate when you’re going to successfully complete a level. Developers-don’t tell me you don’t do this because we both know you do. You could be on a difficult level and try 10+ times to complete without success, even using boosters to help, and then suddenly the stars align and the level plays perfectly allowing you to succeed. They do this to get users to pay for extra boosters which I have never done in 2000+ levels. Second, you will sit through an ad to get a free booster or extra life and at the end of the ad the screen goes black forcing you to close the app and reopen. Your reward is in the wind after spending 30-45 seconds watching the @$!?*% ad. Developers-again, you know about this so please fix. Very annoying as this can happen multiple times each day. All this being said, I still like the game because it’s challenging and makes me think.

Appreciative / Bug problem on bottom of review. I know I’ve left some angry reviews before on this game but at the end of the day I really do appreciate the whole thing. I’ve had this game since I was about 13, and I still play it 8 years later. The way it’s improved over the years is unbelievable. The sounds, objectives, different game options as far as running out of lives and being able to go play something else like expedition. I love how you guys add different features for a limited time so we can experience something different. The item hunts are one of my favorites. And you guys have made it to a point where you reward us with power ups in so many ways, I barely get frustrated if I keep losing lives. Thank you Bug problem: Recently been experiencing some issues when you go back to the games home screen. The loading screen gets stuck and doesn’t change so I have to keep force closing the app to get it to go back to the home screen

Challenging and Fun. I think this is a terrific game. I don’t really understand all the negative reviews. I am on Level 4500 or so and have never had to purchase powerups, cheats, etc. except to play the higher levels of the Scavenger Hunts (which are a blast). To all of those who are struggling with this game, here are some helpful hints. Booster boxes are key. You need to collect these. You can purchase the using your gold keys (no money needed). Wait for the deal where you get 3 boxes for 55 keys. I use a booster box for every level. That is how you can be successful with this game. Another hint. Horde your cheats. You can win a lot of cheats by beating the arcade which is fairly easy and by winning the races. Winning a race gets you a boatload of cheats. Lastly, use the timed cheats that you might get as a daily prize wisely - use them to get more cheats. I currently have over 50 of each cheat and over 100 booster boxes without paying a dime.

Issues with coins. Let me start by saying I love this game. It’s fun, challenging, and a good way to pass time. However, I am thoroughly ticked about the coin and “mine” situation. This game forces you to make in-app purchases in order to collect coins to buy things to help you in the tougher levels such as booster boxes, color blasters, etc. The “mine” only fills up to fifty coins and then you can’t collect any more coins until you spend $3 of your own money. I attempted to use some of my coins and see if I could then collect more without making the purchase but sadly you can’t. Once the mine is “full” there’s no way to empty it or get any more coins unless you make that three dollar purchase. I conceded once and made the purchase just to see what would happen and sure enough, I had coins for all of about ten seconds before my mine was full and again would’ve had to spend $3 more dollars for more coins. This game is GREAT! This particular issue makes it not great. If it wasn’t for that I would’ve given it five stars. I’ve played this game in the past and it wasn’t like this so idk who thought to make it the way it is now but it was a terrible decision. One star!

Stop spending money on new side quests and just develop the game!. I’ve been playing this game for forever but now I rarely open it, and when I do it’s to play the hidden objects game (honestly if the devs made an entire app of just the hidden objects game I’d actually pay money for it). The pop-ups are the worst thing on earth, and there are all these buttons around the edge of the screen that are vaguely explained and not interesting at ALL. From reading the other reviews, clearly nobody likes all of these side quests I’d suggest cutting most of them and spending money to make the game free but PLAYABLE. The visuals are amazing, and the music is calming but the pop-ups are stressful and annoying. There’s no way to earn useful currency in the game without paying real cash, which is infuriating. Not to mention how most of the levels are designed with power ups that just hurt you in the long run. This series of games used to be amazing but now it’s just filler and paywalls. It’s like a wolf in sheep’s clothing with the beautiful art and music while the devs shake you down for cash.

Fun game but too many distractions. It’s a fun game, or was while it lasted. This game should be called Four Dots instead, because the basic point of any level (especially the tougher ones) is to make a square (or rectangle) out of four or more dots. Just like with candy crush there are super hard levels, which I’m fine with, but there are also some I just don’t enjoy? I thought I hated the fire ones until I got to the space ones that transfer rows or something. The pop ups and allllll the extra stuff is WILD lol like out of control. There are so many distractions on the main screen that most people do not care about- we JUST wanna play the game. Like with any app, it is very money hungry. I’d rather pay for an app than be continuously offered in game purchases- I will buy a game, but I will mot keep spending money to pay one. The design and animation is so cute and I want to say simple, but it’s overcrowded by all of the many pop ups. You have to click like 5 times just to start the game.

Wonderful game with an adorable art style, two personal flaws. I absolutely love this game. It’s a fun, unique mechanic with enough variety to stay interesting through over 3000 levels, with an art style that’s cute and unique. It’s whimsical and friendly. If there’s one thing I’d change, it’s that I really, really wish I could do the full scavenger hunts without having to spend real money— I love them so much, and I’m happy to support the game when I can, but I can’t always do that, and it makes me sad to have to miss out. Maybe there could be a free version where you don’t get the rewards for completion? I also kind of wish you’d remove the “first try completion” thing, because if you mess up, there’s no way to get it ever again, and it kind of causes me stress. I guess it’s a good way to make me spend money, but it’s upsetting. Other than that, though, it’s an absolutely wonderful game and I’m glad to play it.

LOVE IT! Simple, fun, addicting. I have been playing this game for the long haul! It’s so great! Clean user face, simple concept, and very creative. I have seen this game go through many updates, and a lot of them have been for the better. It’s such a simple and fun way to play a game for the few minutes you’re able to play games during the day. While I love the simplicity and fun of the game, I’ve seen the updates recently decrease in functionality. Usually the updates are great, but recently, they seem to be rather buggy. Nothing major, but I’m seeing many of the updates not fixing the issue of freezing or force closing. Another issue is the INSANE battery usage of this game. The only reason I do not give it 5 Stars is because of ridiculous amount of battery drainage even from just a level or two. Literally I’ll lose 20-40% battery within a few lives. It HAS to be fixed, please I beg you! And also the start screen bugs and little lag bugs that are seriously making it impossible to enjoy the game.

Outstanding with caveats. Two Dots is outstanding. Reinventions of the basic theme are always entertaining and challenging, and have kept my interest for years. I am impressed with the smooth simplicity of gameplay coupled with ongoing challenges. Love this game. The ads, however, are absolutely insufferable. Not only are they constant, but also the advertised games are insanely stupid. These ads can sometimes be hard to get rid of even after suffering through the required 30 seconds. If the game itself weren’t so good, I would have deleted it long ago. Please find a way to limit or eliminate ads. The recent price hike for coins is unconscionable. $9.99 for a single purchase is too much and buys less per coin than before. I used to make regular purchases, but now I go out of my way to avoid them altogether. I suggest reinstating $2.99 for 50 coins (still a steep price), and also allowing keys to purchase coins.

Disappearing Prizes. I love this game and would give it a 5/5 except I keep encountering a few bugs. I’ve played for over a year and these are all new. Even with the bugs I’m still playing a ton but they are frustrating. My health is really bad right now and playing this helps me cope, so I’m not going anywhere, but I’d love if the bugs were fixed. I also will not recommend the game while the bugs exist. 1. When I click to watch an ad for a free booster or life, about half the time I can just keep clicking and it goes nowhere. Also am having issues with the screen going black and being forced to restart game, only to find watching a vid for a free whatever isn’t an option anymore. 2. When I hit slime, it grows anyways, sometimes after everything is settled and I’m allowed to make my next move. It’s incredibly frustrating to go out of your way to hit it only for it to grow. It also sometimes grows by 3 or 4 dots instead of only 1. 3. Boosters are wonky. Sometimes they straight up don’t work, sometimes it instantly undoes them, and sometimes they partially work. I have limited funds for games and despise when it my literal real money is wasted by an eraser not removing the dot but being used anyways (just one example of many). Please, PLEASE fix this game! Like I said, my health is bad and I’m dealing with extreme pain these days and I need my regular distraction These are all relatively new issues, maybe the last few weeks.

Very enjoyable, but a few problems. I enjoy this game very much. I’ve played over 600 levels and I’ve been amazed by the genuine difficulty of them. However, I do have a few things to point out - first of which seems to be a glitch. Sometimes, (or most of the time), after watching an ad, the game’s music and sound effects get cancelled. I would really like to see this get fixed. I’m tired of having to restart the app every time. Secondly, the ability to watch multiple ads consecutively seems to have disappeared. This was helpful, especially for the bonus wheel you get after failing a level. Hoping this will return too. Finally, there should be some way to acquire coins without having to pay money, another ad-watching setup perhaps? I’d like to be able to extend my moves in levels and play more than 2 stages on the “spot the items” levels. Other than that, I would highly recommend this game to anyone who needs a game to kill time.

I love this game so much but......... Totally in love with this game and everything about it except the fact that in the actual dots part you earn your hard earned coins and then you have to turn around and buy them to play the hidden items part, which in my opinion is my favorite. Seriously so cute but I know as we go on the levels are going to cost more and more coins which you have to pay real money for and that’s not fair guys. There has to be a middle ground, has to be! We should be able to earn a certain amount of coins and if we want more than that be able to buy more but definitely should be a way to have the coins to spend that you already earned! If this was a feature you would get 5 stars but because of the way the game is now I’m going to have to delete it cause I won’t get to play my favorite part and that’s a shame. Please change a few things, at least maybe for a time trial and see how much more you get from people than with it being this way, you could always switch it up too to where it’s half free and half pay to play.

Moves, Squares, and the Boosts. In every game I know, there will always be ads. So I found this game with an advertisement. When I saw this ad, I thought that this game was amazing. And so I went to the App Store and downloaded Two Dots. But I have three and only three problems with this addicting game which is why reviews are a thing. Here, read them- I wish they would change is the move limit. For example, on level 45, I think it was, you only have 12 moves to complete four objectives. I've been trying to get past this level for two weeks now but I simply can't do it! My second problem is squares. I absolutely love squares. The thing is, in order to make a square, you have to eliminate other dots to make one, which results in wasting your moves. Sometimes I get lucky and have squares ready for me, but most times I have to waste a few moves just to make squares. My third problem is the boosters. You know, those little icons at the bottom of the level, like the eraser and the shuffler? I don't know if it's just me, but I will take every oppurtunity for the booster boxes, daily rewards, and the boosts. I watch the videos. But I always use them and they don't come in handy when I really need them. I don't know if this is a me problem or an everyone who plays this game problem. And that's it! That's all the problems I have with Two Dots. Overall, this game is brilliant and I recommend this game to anyone who is bored in quarantine. Good luck!

Sad to say that currently this game is a cash grab. I loved this game so much, but honestly it doesn’t really work the way you need it to. First of all, you can’t even do majority of the events because pretty much almost all of them require gold to continue, gold that you have absolutely NO WAY of getting for free, in order to do pretty much anything in this god forsaken game, is to pay ACTUAL MONEY to play the rest of the features, and honestly, I’m pretty much at my wits end with this game and am actually considering removing the game from my phone, as I just don’t really have the time and energy to even tolerate this game. So if you don’t have the money to pay simply don’t even bother playing this game because you can’t even do any events. Not only does the game require money to win majority of the time, some of even the most easiest levels are most likely UNPLAYABLE, due to how difficult it is to progress, for example, majority of the time you don’t even get the dot colors that you need in order to make squares, there’s also most likely not enough moves in order to complete all of your tasks for the level. Over all this game just sits in my library, collecting virtual dust majority of the time

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!!!. The first hundred or so levels are great, perfect level of challenging, perfect to play and relax. But once you get past level 100, the game CLEARLY becomes stacked against you to the point where you have to purchase power-ups to continue. It becomes stressful as opposed to relaxing. The dots are supposed to fall in random colors which you can use to make squares of the same color, which eliminate all dots of that particular color. However, at later levels the color of dots that fall are not random, but specifically chosen so that you cannot make squares. Since you have a move limit on each level, you end up either having to play the same level over and over and over again hoping you stumble upon a way to win, or you have to use power-ups extensively to force your way through a level. Once you’re out of power-ups, you have to PURCHASE more of them! So it gets to the point where you can’t play unless you pay. The entire game is designed to get you hooked and then make it impossible to continue without cash. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!!

Too many changes. I’ve been playing two dots pretty much since the game was released. I’ve been caught up on levels and waiting for new ones to be released since about level 1500. I love the game, however recently there have been a ton of changes that I don’t love. For starters the winning streak. I understand the appeal of this, especially for newer players, however when I only have 25 new levels to play at a time, it makes them way too easy and I get through them way too fast. Also the recent update of haptics and vibrations. This one may seem odd, however it used to vibrate only when you got a square, and I loved this because it confirmed for me that I completed the square and wouldn’t release too early. Now it vibrates every move, and squares don’t vibrate more than the average move. It’s just too much and I liked the old settings better. Don’t get me wrong a ton of great features have been added over the years, but some of these things are just too much.

Modern classic.. In 5 years or so, I have tried a lot of games. I have seen a few truly beautiful, thoughtful games - ones that take time and investment - and I have seen all too many cheap, crappy, thrown-together money-grab games. This game is neither, but I hold it in closer esteem to the beautiful games. It has in-app purchases available, but it does not have ads - that alone is unique. But what really keeps me coming back - always, always coming back - is simple, beautiful design, engaging gameplay, clever/intriguing mechanics, and continually evolving levels that build on earlier mechanics. It’s not timed; you always have time to consider the next move. It’s not entirely a logic game; there’s an element of randomness in every level that always makes the outcome variable. And the music… I have purchased most of the collections when they become available. Some of the songs are mesmerizing. Of all the games on the App Store, this is the one, singular game that has always been on my phone, and likely will be. The developers clearly care, and have fun creating the game. It is well-balanced, not buggy, has clean design, and has the option of purchasing “boosters” (minor cheats, really), if you don’t have the patience to keep hammering away at the occasional tough level. It may not be for everyone, but it’s as close to that as you’re going to find for whiling away the time.

The developers are trying to hard to make THE game.. When they show ads of this game in other apps they never show the main puzzle of the game. They show all the little minigames and the minigames look more entertaining than the actual puzzle of the game. The developers likely realize this and that’s why that’s what they show in ads. There’s so much going on in this app that I wouldn’t even know where to go to play those minigames or if they actually are an option. The layout is busy and confusing. My advice to the developers are to recognize who your target demographic is and move accordingly, because you can’t appeal to every age group and skill level. In the actual dot puzzle, some of the levels seem unattainable, and I recognize the obstacles are what make the game so I wouldn’t ask you to take out anything but sometimes the obstacles, the dot placement, and the amount of moves i get make it unreasonable and again, unattainable. Don’t dumb it down but just make it realistic.

Great game - please fix the daily prizes!. This is a fantastic game. I’ve been playing it for years and it still keeps me engaged. I almost never write reviews but I just have to say: PLEASE fix the daily prizes! It seems to have really sensitive cutoff times, and the logic for when it shows up is not clear. If I play one evening and the next morning, it doesn’t come up. If I play one morning and the next evening, it tells me I’ve missed a day and lost my streak! It is so frustrating. Please just make it work on calendar days, so any time in the day counts as having played that day, not some arbitrary 24-hour period depending on when you happened to play on a certain day. I’ve seen a lot of other feedback saying the same thing, and I’m honesty surprised it’s not fixed yet. Not sure if this review will make a difference, but I hope so. We appreciate all the hard work from devs, artists, and others that has gone into this game. Cheers!

Lots of fun…. …but frustrating at times. I’ve been doing the ‘search’ game for a while now. I think 3-4 versions. Originally there was no ‘hint’ option and one of the versions I wasn’t able to find the very last item at all. This latest version has the ‘hint’ option but I’ve reached the point again where I am unable to locate the last item. The ‘hint’ button gives you a small range to look. You’d think that’s where the item would be. It’s not. You have to wait 5 minutes for the ‘hint’ button to be available again and then watch another 30-second advertisement, but this last time it took me to the exact same spot (2x in a row now) and the item isn’t there!! (Astronaut). Don’t know if this is a glitch in the system or what. If it could be fixed that’d be great. Otherwise it’s getting to where you have to decide do you want to play until you fail?

My favorite game!. I’ve been playing this game pretty much since it came out. Sometimes I’ll stop playing for a while and then pick it up again one day and I’m right back to being addicted! A lot of y’all are saying this game is pay to win, but I’ve beat all of the current main levels and never paid a dime. I buy booster boxes with keys and also watch ads for rewards (love that I’m never forced to watch ads). Yes, the scavenger hunt is pay to win and that’s really annoying, but the rest of the game can be played without paying. I do think there should be some way to earn gold for free even if it’s just a tiny amount here and there. The game can be frustrating at times as it seems like sometimes the level decides from the beginning that it won’t play nice, but it’s still a great way for me to waste a couple minutes of my day

If you love the scavenger hunt but hate the current state of two dots…. I agree with the other reviewers on the increase in difficulty and pop ups. The only reason why I still have the app is for the scavenger hunt. There have been so many requests for more scavenger games, but Two Dots have not made any effort to listen to the reviewers. So many options are available to address these requests such as making a separate app for the scavenger hunts, make the scavenger hunts a pay to play option instead of having to wait so long for another one, release the hunts more frequently, etc. Two Dots is not taking advantage of the scavenger hunts’ popularity and opportunity to make money from people like me that will pay to play scavenger hunt v. Pay to beat levels. There is a game I have found similar to the scavenger hunt is called Scavenger Hunt by Popcore. You can play as much as you want. If you need/want help finishing the puzzle, you can buy search tools, which are reasonably priced. I love it!

The pop-ups are ruining this game. I love Two Dots and have been playing it for years. One of its best features used to be its simplicity. Now, if I want to play a quick level, I have to endure multiple pop-ups first. Pop up for the daily spinning wheel. Pop ups for gold mines (which I have never once wanted to purchase). Pop ups for new expeditions and treasure hunts (when the red badge on the bottom of the screen could have notified me of the same thing). I particularly hate the ones for flips and square races that MAKE me click through multiple pages of instructions I’ve already seen a million times. The beautiful game board is being encroached upon by random icons for all this stuff. What an annoying mess. Isn’t there a better way to handle all of these extra features instead of constantly putting them in our face each time we open the app? Maybe just some little red badges indicating new content? A second page we could swipe to for these all of these extra icons? They’re ruining the beauty and sense of calm that drew me to this game in the first place.

Love the game but two simple requests. I love this game, and I love to play this as a break during work. But I would really love if the game had the option to have a clock at the top—it’s easy to lose track of time which is problematic when I’m playing during work breaks. I sometimes have to set a timer so I know “Okay, 5 minutes have passed, time to get back to work”, which is annoying and easily fixable (please please add the option to have a clock visible!!) As for the 1 hour infinite lives, they’re a great reward, but they’re frequently wasted because I’m often playing during a quick work break. It would be really nice to be able to save the 1 hour infinite lives reward & use at a later time. tldr; love the game but please add the option to have a visible clock in-game & the option to save the 1 hour infinite lives reward for a later time

Wish there were ways to get coins. I would definitely give this app five stars as I LOVE it so much. It’s challenging and fun, however I wish there was a better way to get coins instead of purchasing them. I understand that apps need to make money but there is no way to get coins unless you buy them. I used all the coins I got as a beginner at level 1, I’m now at level 120 and haven’t received any coins going since then. I love the mini games where you find the items but you can’t progress further with them unless you have coins. Even if it’s earning a small amount over time, getting coins would make it more fun to play. I don’t usually like spending money on apps, but have in the past. But I just don’t feel like it’s worth it if I’m going to just spend them and never get anymore. Another small detail I’d change would be a better way to access daily tasks/gifts, as the only way to get to them is by tapping on a new level. Overall though, I love this game.

Their prices have almost double the last two months. This is a decent fun game to play when you’re not wanting to focus on the distractions of the worlds… but lately, they really started doing things like taking lives away when I don’t have the app open… because every 20 minutes you get a new life but if you close the app, the counter stops. It didn’t used to be that way…. They’ve also doubled their prices on free items and pay items…. So they give you these little keys that you can use to buy extra life’s. It used to cost 200 keys for an hour or two hours worth of unlimited lives. Now it cost 400 keys 360 to be exact…. They’ve done several other things over the past year. Did I really did not care for to try to improve their gameplay like taking away the ability to have five extra free moves. If you do well now, they only give you three…. Personally, I played this game for a while almost daily for a little bit over a year. I’m going to go find another free game to play. Not a big deal maybe some people gravitate towards this game but it’s not that great of game
