Great free easy video recording app 4 dummies. I really like the features and how this app is easy for a dummy like me to use.👌😌 I’m a rookie beginner at this TikTok-Instagram-Snapchat-Reels video editing stuff, like all the other platforms-apps, I cannot hardly navigate around most of them for video editing🤔🧐 besides the real boring simple ones.🙄 The editing-effects buttons are all different shapes and logos😳🤦🏼‍♀️ and idk what they do so I take forever figuring that out wach one..wasting time right, 🤷🏼‍♀️plus I get all confused with all the extra features on there it’s overwhelming lol I’ve never done this or was taught how……so yeah…😏 But this one is self explanatory 👍and easy to figure out, for me anyway. That’s why they deserve 5 🖐️whole stars 🤩from this tech tard😜🤓😂

NEEDS WORK. In the beginning this app worked wonderful before the update! I have an exercise instagram and it was beautiful to just upload what I did.. but not anymore. This app can not save long videos and freezes like there’s no tomorrow. If you plan on saving 30 second or less videos then you're golden, if you want to waste your money to do so. But if want to actually record videos don’t waste your time like I did. Find a new app.

Great app, could still use improvements. I purchased this app so I could record video and keep my music playing. For that purpose this app is as advertised. However, I’ve found that the app does not work with my Bluetooth shutter remote. Adding that functionality to the app would definitely earn it a 5th star

Great, but two videos that didn’t save now.. Great concept as music is wonderful when recording. But in the past week, the app has lost two of my recordings. Two that would’ve been great. I have the iPhone X. Hopefully y’all can address this so I can make the review a 5 like it should be.

Takes Getting Use To. It does work but it doesn’t save the video. Not even to my camera roll. It did do it once. But not anymore. When I’m recording and I switch to another app I want it to keep recording but it doesn’t. When I return to this app I have to press the record button again. After using the app a little more I found out that it will not save a 30 minute recording. I don’t know what the maximum limit is. What I do now is stop recording after about 10 minutes and it saves fine.

Paid for the app, Then asking to buy a subscription. Don’t get me wrong I like the features on this app, especially where you get to play music and record at the same time. But, the one thing that gets me really mad is that I had to pay $2 for this app then it’s telling me to buy a subscription for full features. If I buy the app then give me full access for free. Don’t make me buy the app then hit me with a buy a subscription for full features... I want my money back, or a subscription.

The Update Has Glitches. Lately the ads on this app have been overboard. They load 40 seconds into a video and then 11 minutes passes w out you knowing it hasn’t been recording the whole time. This is the second of this app I’ve purchased and I found a new app. Won’t be using this again as it’s been a hassle and a half.

Crashes Instagram. Every time I try to post one of the videos I record with this app it crashes my Instagram page. I’ve tried everything, restarting my phone, the app, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the app it doesn’t work. Other videos I’ve taken with my normal phone app works just not these videos. It’s a shame because that’s the only reason I got this app.

WAS a good app. Previously media monster was a paid app, I purchased it and loved it for a long time, the most recent updated have made the camera look grainy, they have added a “subscription” option (did I not pay for the app initially?) that has features that I am not sure what the point is. It was a great app but not all my videos come out in poor quality, the settings that used to be there for image quality are gone and the app is now trash. Will be deleting and do not recommend.

Two things needs attention immediately. Two things needs attention right away First this app needs pause and resume for easy editing please do it immediately Second the zoom is way to fast you need to add a zoom slider and zoom speed where we have ability to slow the zoom down as well as speed it up bud other then that the audio is absolutely perfect don’t change anything with the audio it’s perfect just add pause and resume and a zoom slider and option to change the zoom speed. Also portrait lock mode where we have the ability to put the camera in horizontal or portrait mode without unlocking the The built-in portrait mode feature by default thanks waiting to hear from you immediately please kindly take heed of these features and at them as soon as you possibly can 😊 loving the app just fix and add these quick

Just what I needed!👌. I love using the ZEPETO app but when I post something I want to use music from Apple Music this app is just what I needed it records music playing in the background so this was super helpful I LOVE THIS APP

New update is horrible. This app was absolutely amazing, and now that it updated today I can’t take a video. My phone doesn’t recognize that the app is taking a video and it goes to sleep while the video is recording and then it stops, with the ! And says “stopped recording” and doesn’t even save the little bit of video it did get. I loved using this app but now it won’t even work. I am really upset about this, please fix whatever you messed up.

Great when working properly. I purchased the app so I record video while my music is playing. When the app cooperates this works well. Unfortunately, about 25% of the time the app freezes and when I end my video the app will say “saving” and then freeze on this screen and my video is lost.

“Camera failure. Please restart session”. Imagine prepping for one moment at the gym, pushing as hard as you can, finally hitting a PR. You hit stop recording then you get an error message saying to restart the camera. You check the cache. Nothing. Gone App only works about 20-30% of the time. Not worth the failure rate

Not fully functional. It works great for actually recording and listening to music. But when it’s time to trim the video , or post it the video often times whatever app you’re trying to post to just shuts down. I’ve also had this app shut my phone down a few times

Unreliable. This app is useful when it actually does what it’s supposed to. The problem is it tends to crash or give a “reset your camera session” message randomly for no apparent reason which results in your video being lost. After losing an important video today I think I’m officially done with this app.

Cocoa error update!!:). Great app!! Responsive developer!! I’m impressed before this app would take tons of space, even deleting the videos you recorded it would still keep the data on the app without having the actual video anymore, building up and taking space when you don’t want it too. The developers response was phenomenal! He fixed the error and it no longer holds excess data behind it! He listens and responds in kind to what we have to say! I’m truly thankful! I recommend it to anyone who wants to play music and record videos at the same time! It does exactly that! Thank you:)

Buggy and annoying. The app is completely non-functional. Every time I try to take a video it tells me that the video can’t be saved, and when it does film, the music cuts in and out. The bugs are out of hand and make it extremely frustrating to try and use the app. A complete waste of time.

Works! 🎥➕🔊. This app does exactly what it says🎉. It allows you to play music while recording video, a super handy feature! Despite not appearing to have portrait mode, if you flip your device to the desired orientation, it will record that way (not sideways). It has flash mode, selfie mode, and outward-facing camera mode, it has the option to take pictures, it has self timer (3 seconds, 5, and 7), quality options, splicing options, and a load of cool filters to boot! Now, here's a note. The app is a little finicky when it comes to interruptions (such as FaceTime calls). Make sure that it is in fact recording afterward and you won't have any problems. The developer is very friendly and responds to emails very quickly; he responded to my request in less than an hour! Overall, I rate this app 4 & 3/4 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 -:-Hanna Brassheart💛-:-

Great App. Overall has been the most useful app for recording gym lifts to send to my coach. Newest update as of 6/2 flips the video when done recording, though.

Consistent bugs. I want to love this app but it continues to disappoint. The app goes through a series of iterations, however each release comes with a new set of problems. For over two months now every time i close the app, the music completely stops as well. Music constantly pauses when either starting a video or when navigating to playback of a video taken. Also, the app has crashed number of times resulting in an error where the video was completely lost. Not acceptable.

Music platform. When recoding, it would be great if we could access our music within the music app. Example. I use Apple Music, it would be great if I could continue recording while navigating through other apps and changing music at the same time, all while continually recoding.

Sound is bad. The mic picks up every sound that isn’t the music when you listen back to the recording. At first the volume of the music would fluctuate, which was already annoying. But then it got to the point where I could barely hear the music at all but could hear every slight movement I made so loudly and eventually all sound was consumed by the chorus of cicadas (which should not have drowned out the music). Needs some serious levels testing.

Best app in existence. Sometimes it’s buggy when it’s updated, but generally speaking this is an amazing and incredibly helpful app. When it isn’t working properly, the developer is always quick to fix it. It’s currently working perfectly and is the best version yet. Definitely worth the money!

Videos won’t play receiving error message iPhone. I use and iPhone xmax , after saving 2 videos in my gallery the videos won’t play . Ones 3 minutes long the other 4 minutes . When I click on the video to play this comes up: “ unable to play video, an error occurred please try again later” All my other videos that are recorded through my normal camera function normally. I know it’s the app videos not working

Fix your update. There’s a new update with the option of mirroring your video. The mirroring is automatically set. Why would anyone want to mirror their video? I thought something was wrong with the app. If anyone has this problem you have to swipe right and go to settings to turn it off

Fix the record button. Please fix the record button I can’t tell you how many times I hit record thinking I’m actually recording something then I find out it didn’t this so frustrating to me otherwise this app is great

Record music? What a lie. I’ve been toying with this app for around 20 minutes now, and despite having explored every nook and cranny of the software, my videos are NOT saving with the music I am playing. Yes, the videos do record while music plays, but I want my videos to record my music AS WELL. and that, simply put, is not happening. What a disappointment, especially after seeing a comment from the app’s producer recommending this app on a STEEZY video.

Exactly what I was looking for!. It’s almost 2019 and apple is still hindering your phone capabilities. This lets you do exactly what you want it to do...film while playing music from the same phone. Boom. Worth every penny.

The audio is great but... It really is a good app for what its supposed to do but there are 2 things that I dont like about it 1. you have to import songs everytime you record even if you previously imported the same track. 2. I cant re-start the audio or rewind it if I need to go back to redo something in my video. I literally have to import a whole new song then import the song I originally wanted just to restart the track or to play a piece of a song. Other than that its ok but having to pay for these issues isnt what Id continue doing.

Very cool- 1 issue. This application has a lot of promise, the only issue I have is that the microphone is extremely sensitive to any vibration of the users hand. As your shooting the video it can pick up slight movements of the user and won’t pick up the ambient music and leaving you with muffled sounds; ruining the point of this app which is to take video while hearing your music! Try after try despite my efforts it happens every time.

Compliment Sandwich. This app is great, and allows you to record high quality video while playing your music. However, despite the bug fixes, I’m still experiencing instances where my video isn’t saved. It is quite frustrating. Despite that, the improvement the Devs have made are quite satisfying.

I used to LOVE this app.. Now, for some reason every time I save my video and try to put it on IG or Facebook, it flips the video in random directions that I did not ask it to do. I guess I’ll find a new app to use unless they fix this in the future, because it did not do this before. I’ve tried restarting my phone, re-installing, all of that stuff, and still it does that weird glitch and it’s super annoying...

Great app, but doesn’t support ultra wide angle on IPhone 11. Love the app and how this works. Will give 5 stars once it supports using the ultra wide angle on the iPhone 11. The option is there in the menu but I’ve tried a ton of different combos and still can’t use the ultra wide angle on this app. can anyone suggest how to fix this ?

Not Impressed!. I thought this app would be something fun but all it has done is driven me absolutely nuts! It seems pretty simple to use but I have tried to create a video with music eight times and not once has it saved it for me in the cache! I’ve tried to hit the support button and it won’t work. Maybe somebody will contact me and tell me if it is simply that I am not very tech savvy.

Utter Garbage. App is crApp! Cannot believe I paid money for this! Constant crashes, recording quality is terrible because it uses the phone's mic to receive the sound to record from, not the actual sound file! Screen goes white and the built in "player" doesn't even work. I really hope these developers get good rest at night time with their loved ones when they're not stealing money and selling garbage.

Historically terrible app, continues to be terrible. The app costs money to buy, then screws up constantly. Half the time you can’t film at all, other times the videos simply don’t save regardless of what you do or how much time you give the saving process. The membership is expensive and the features,m don’t work, at all, period. If you lost a video to this app’s mistakes or because it crashed, even becoming a member wont allow you to successfully restore lost videos. If you use film for your income, do not use this app.

MUST HAVE. !!!!!. This app is such a blessing. Apple dropped the ball with the fact you cant take a video & play music at the same time... this app solved everything!! I can take any amount of videos with music playing and then post it anywhere! I love it. I didnt even know my phone could shoot in 4k! This app is showing me so many new things, MUST HAVE!!!

Landscape and portrait. So the app is awesome except for one thing in my opinion. I wanna be able to turn my phone to landscape and the video be recorded upright. Currently every time I do that my recording are sideways and when I turn my phone to view it’s now upside down, which for my recording is not optimal. Other than that the app is great!

Great for recording lifts. I use this app solely to record my lifts (I’m pretty serious with my lifts) and of course need my music to stay psyched and focused. This app has never failed me in keeping my music running at full quality while recording crisp clips of my lifts. It has crashed a couple times since 2019 but not while I was recording so it’s not an issue at all.

This used to be really good. I opened it up today but the orientation of the camera was completely wrong. I’m not even sure how to describe it but if I moved my iPad up and down then the camera would go side to side then vice versa. I’m not sure what happened to it but I can’t figure out the camera angle anymore and I’m not sure which way it’s filming anymore. The orientation is completely off.

Best music app. Probably the best video music app I’ve found so far. It actually works like it’s suppose to. Not like many that are extremely complicated to use. This one works great!

Ehhh, it’s okay.. First off, the flash for the front facing camera will turn on, but when you press the record button to stop the video it does not work. Closing the app just causes the app to crash and does not save the video. Second, the Music is not integrated into the Media Monster app. All it is doing is playing the music from your speaker at the bottom of your iPhone, and your microphone is recording it from the speaker. Thus making the music quality sound horrible. Fix these issues, and I will give a higher rating.

User friendly. This app is simple and easy to use. It stores my videos and photos on here and I love using it for quick vlogging moments. 👍

Great when it decides to work. It does what it says but only works when it wants to. I keep loving videos because it doesn’t save them to my phone and then I have to film all over again. To got video recovery but only if you subscribe and pay monthly fees. I already paid for the freaking app it should do what it says it does. I shouldn’t have to pay extra for it to work properly.

Meh. This app is great when it works. Unfortunately for me this app crashes more than it works. I’ll record videos that appear to be there and once I close the app the video is gone. It also drains the battery of my phone. I’ll go from 80% to 30% after less than 10 mins of using the app. I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone personally. I’m upset I paid for it.

4K and recording music. This app does all it says. I don't why people are complaining about not being able to record long videos when I just did in 4K at 60 frames per. Second while playing music. The time to save a video takes a while but it's a very long and high quality video. I would recommend this app to anyone looking to record high quality video and playing music

Record music while using a mic. The mic works the video works but when you sing to the music it works. The trouble is that the play back of the music is very quiet almost as if the headphones are only picking up the music from the headphones microphone itself. There’s no music ... can you please fix this or clarify what your product actually does. Does it record music and video and microphone sounds at the same time and then play them back with the music with volume volume. A little bit disappointed please help.

Did not save video. I just recorded an hour video that has to be submitted for a certification and it did not save... very frustrating since everything seemed to be working fine throughout the filming and to find out I have no record of it and will have to re-film completely.

Strange.... Strange as to why you need access to my devices settings?! I just paid for this but have deleted. That’s not cool and seems dodgy!

Worked ok for a while. Seemed like pretty useful app at first. After a few months of use the useful functions are all locked behind paywalls, and a random bug developed forcing all saved videos to rotate. Poor user functionality and interface.

Core functional is being locked behind subscription. I paid for this app some time ago, and with recent updates it feels like I’m being treated like a second class citizen. I even made a few suggestions, my old review is listed below, which have been added, but I’m now told I need to pay even more for them. Protip: if you’re gonna charge more for your app, then give all old customers the full feature set, because they already paid, make the app free, then charge all new customers a subscription. Your treatment of customers is a joke, one way or another I’m getting a refund as a matter of principle. Original review: Ineeded to record a video while playing music through Bluetooth speakers from my phone, and this does the job One minor problem was that the recording switched between the phones internal microphone and the mic on the Bluetooth speakers, which isn’t something I wanted, I’d rather be able to pick which mic is used, or just always use the one in my phone. A minor issue I hope will be fixed And now they’ve fixed it, and wanna charge me for the privilege of the recordings not sounding like utter trash.

Crashes often. Has been crashing more often than not and errors out for recording video. Not pleased.

Eh. Good as it does what it says. Beware, if you are recording and want to end your recording, and you miss the red circle to end by tapping around it, your footage will not save. This pisses me off a lot, please fix and I’ll give it 5 stars. Instead of completely voiding the current footage, please just make it so that if I tap and miss, nothing happens.

Pretty darn useless. Basic functionality is lacking. Doesn’t do what other free apps can do like record the music internationally when headphones are plugged in. When it records from the external speakers the sound quality is terrible. Several times is just didn’t save my video. Also no option for a refund. Glad I only paid three bucks for this useless thing.

Storage full issue. When I record long videos, it tells me that my phone’s storage is full when I still have over 20 GB left. Maybe the recent update messed it up or something. I’ll change my review when they fix it. Though it’s a fantastic app when it does work

App isn’t working. Since updating how it saves videos, app says I have no space on my device, which I do, and then says send to your email or text it. When you try, it send a link that just opens a download in the App Store. Videos that I have recorded are now essentially gone. Really upset about this.

Used to be great.... Since an update or two ago, everything I record is now backwards/mirrored and it’s annoying enough that I’ve stopped using it. Spent a few minutes today trying to fix it but to no avail...hunting for replacement now...

Oh ffs. I downloaded this excited because it’s a good idea and I wanted it to work. 2$ to find out that the audio recorded from my phone sounds like it’s been through a filter that sounds the way static on a television looks. Garbled, can’t hear it just crap. Lousy.

Shakey and glitchy. The music cuts out and it glitchy when connecting to the app. The video quality is also poor. Not at all smooth and very shaky. Would not recommend.

Doesn’t work as advertised. This does not record video and inline sound. There is no option, and really the entire app is very limited. Waste of time.

Please fix the bug!!!. I love the idea of it and it saved a video I recorded ONCE but now it NEVER saves anything I record. I get “error saving video” then it crashes. Please fix this, because I really did enjoy using it the one time I was able to. It’s a great tool!

Ok. Takes forever to save video since update. Edit 4/24: still takes forever for even short videos. And now it gives a device full message even though my device is nowhere near full. I really wish this app would work but it looks like I will have to resort to 2 devices to play music and record.

Can’t save media. The auto save feature works sometimes but when it doesn’t, lose the videos I made and don’t know how to recover them. There’s no way to save the videos that I can see.

Awful. The app crashes without warning. I had to buy the app originally and now if you want any of their better features you have to pay a monthly subscription. A waste of money and a less than worthwhile investment.

Awesome app just one flaw. Could you PLEASE update this app so it can fix the camera zoom. Every time I record a video it zooms in without letting me zoom out

Garbage. I wanted this app so I can record sets at the gym while playing music. Three different times I’d hit a PR on squat or deadlift, get super excited to watch it, then find out the video didn’t save or cut off halfway through.

Lost. I have made so many videos with this app and every once in a while it works but most of the time everything’s lost and it doesn’t save. Tried to send the videos via email and that just sent a link back to the main app page .. not worth losing live videos. Maybe opt for a editor instead.

Unpredictable. This app works only sometimes. I’m a lifter and I have to send videos to my coach. I also need music to stay hyped for the heavy lifting. So I’m theory this app would be great but every time I’ve used it, it fails to record at least one of my sets. Really frustrating.

Termination Policy Hard to find. I had to download this app for a specific project and the project is completed. The sign up terms state I can cancel at anytime, yet how to cancel is a mystery. I do not want to be charged beyond the 7 day free trial. Where is the link for me to cancel? I will not use this app again.

Fix record/picture. It’s the second time I recorded a video and accidentally press the picture mode and when I try to go back to the video my video that I recorded was not saved please fix will give 5 stars when fixed

Disappointed. I don’t know what you guys did when you Upgraded this app, but there is no longer a free version. It will not let you allow the app to access the camera or microphone unless you pay $45 to upgrade. Had to delete the app after using it for 2 years.

Videos won’t save. I would love this app if my videos would save. It always says I’m out of space but my phone still has 50g of space available. I can’t find a way to contact the app for support. Very frustrating.

Don't buy the app. literally crashes 1/3 and also what was a feature before being able to recover videos that crashed. Is now a paid feature on top of paying for the app to begin with . Don't waste your time with this app, developers are greedy

Video with Bluetooth. Thought this app would record my music while I wear my wireless headphones, but it is no different than if I did not download the app. Was hoping to use this for Fitness videos and having my music playing but does not do this.

Crashes constantly. It’s a coin flip whether your video will actually record; I often find myself flinching as I stop recording any video, just waiting for the app to crash. Needs some serious work.

Waste of $2.00. I paid $1.99 for an app that records video with subpar quality and gets every video flagged for stolen content. I’ve never had this issue with posting a video with music in the background ptaken with the camera on my phone, but this app makes every video get flagged for the music. A waste of money.

Unstable and Unreliable. The app regularly crashes after recording short videos, failing to save and losing whatever you may have recorded. Pass on this one and find an app that performs its basic functions.

Mic. Its good and i like it a lot, but only one thing need to be fix, when i record a song with extra bass the mic records the bass more than highs and the sound is very quiet not like original camera.

Won’t record. I have to record my training sessions and I prefer to listen to music as I do so. The app continues to quit mid lift and I lose all of my video footage. Why the hell did I pay $ for this? It’s completely up to date as well.

What the hell. I bought this app to record videos while playing music at the same time and it doesn’t is it a big I updated and still won’t do it please help or prolly want my money back

Flipping my videos. There is an issue with this app where it will flip your videos. It must be a bug because it never use to do this before. Please fix! I use this app all the time but now it just frustrates me.

Picture quality stinks. I’ve used this app for over a year with great results, but NOW it seems picture quality is sub-par. I’m guessing if I pay for premium, I may get the old picture quality back.

Saved videos. There needs to be a somewhere we you can save the videos you record on the app I was highly upset that I recorded wedding videos and couldn’t get them they somehow disappeared and now there gone because the app didn’t have somewhere that stores the Videos inside the app

Crashes immediately. Newest version crashes immediately even after updating IOS

Zoomed in front camera. Why is the front cam zoomed in

Works for a few videos and crashes all the others. This app worked great at first, but the more I’ve used it, especially in one setting, the more it crashes while recording. Not useful for the videography that I’m trying to accomplish.
