Did not work. Very disappointed. I bought this last night hoping it would work and it doesn’t. I just downloaded a free app that works great. Hoping I can get a refund, otherwise just got scammed :( .

Rip off. Only function I could get to work was the iso. Support options do nothing when you select them. Sony’s free app is limited but does far more than this.

Doesn't even work. I BOUGHT this app to control my Sony A6000 camera. When I could get the WiFi to work the app was buggy and then wouldn't connect a second time.

Waste of $$. Absolute waste of money. App doesn’t connect to camera. Wish I read the reviews beforehand because evidently that’s a trend with this app. Do not purchase this app.

Cumbersome Process and App closes. Once I was able to get my RX100 connected, which took forever, the app consistently closed, after each photo. Inside the menu, via smartphone, you’re unable to change any settings for the camera and when you finally snap a photo, the APP closes, asking me to reconnect, which requires several attempts: my WiFi router is 10’ away from my studio. I also reached out to the ‘Help Desk’ twice, to NO avail. EXTREMELY disappointed and a waste of my time. Worst $8 and want a refund.

Don’t buy. Worst app I have ever experienced, i don’t even know why this is still in the market ripping people off. If they can make a beautiful camera why can’t they make a app that works? Very disappointed and I believe they should refund everyone that has bought this trash.

Not worth $9. Tap the button to take a picture and it takes 1-2 minutes to relay to the camera ...

Do not waste your money on this app.. Literally throwing away money with this app. Does not work at all. Spent so long trying to get it to work just to be frustrated. Spend $15 on any other worthless thing other than this app please I beg you.

Frustrating. I’ve only been able to connect with my camera a handful of times. I’ve spent hours trying to connect with no success. I try to be fair with reviews but this app simply doesn’t work.

Great Update!. I bought this app a couple of weeks ago and had some connection issues, but the latest update solved all of my problems. The app loads faster and there are no app crashes anymore. The only feature I am still missing is transferring old images from my camera SD card to my iPhone.

Tries to do too much badly. There is no control over which photos to download where. It tries to take control of downloading and makes a mess. It doesn’t let me delete the photos from the camera after downloading.

Waste of money. Every time i try to actually take a picture through the remote control feature the app just freezes... complete waste of money

This app crashes more often than it should. I really want my $5.00 back. I literally took 3 pictures in 1 hour I kept turning my phone on and off hoping it would catch on eventually but nope it’s the app. It would be a GREAT app it it worked.

Don’t. I thought because of the 3.2 or whatever the average rating is now that this app might work, and if not I could just get a refund, both FALSE! The app does not let me change ANY setting once connected(it tricks you and connects like its gonna work) at least the free wireless camera control apps let me control one perimeter, I think it’s the aperture, this one doesn’t even do that. And when I tried to get a refund I was told to wait for the apple receipt to be emailed to me, I tried getting a refund 5 mins after the email came in and I got an automated message from apple saying “This purchase is not eligible for a refund” not verbatim but close. Horrible horrible experience, I don’t know how these paid apps are allowed to continue being sold on the App Store with such blatant lies.

Doesn’t work. This app is poorly advertised and does not actually work. The Wi-Fi connection takes 10 minutes and the second you try to use it, it fails. Absolutely would not recommend.

Buy gum or toothpicks instead!!. They said it was tested on the a6000 camera which I have. I must have a defective camera because this app absolutely refuses to connect. They never gave the results of the test and the lists of compatible cameras excludes a6000. That was a slick move. Also the app does not have a lot of features. It very basic. Go buy gum or lighter. You will get more use from those than the app

Horrible. Coming from the Panasonic app. This app is absolutely horrible. I have yet to get it to even take a photo. It says it’s loading and never actually does it

All bad, get camrote. Just wasted 9 bucks on this while on the shoot because I needed to get my photos on to my iPhone to try and edit/send to the client asap. Can't upload photos you've already taken, and even as a remote it's SUPER choppy and laggy. I want a refund

Crashes constantly. Apparently the camera is already obsolete, Sony just doesn’t feel like maintaining the app. Not so bad for a normal camera, pretty crooked to sell a 400 dollar camera that’s literally useless after 4 years. My mistake, should’ve stuck with real camera companies.

This app is complete trash!. All it says is searching camera and it never finds anything! I want my money back and I don’t know how to apply for a refund. Do not buy this! I’m sure there’s a free app that works way better!

Play memories. I just bought this app since I was told I can transfer my picture from my Sony A5100 to my phone and I can’t happen to get on doing that and when I ask for help it says it can’t get connected to try again ! DONT BUY

Doesn’t connect to app. I was really excited for this to work, but unfortunately it doesn’t connect to the app. It connects to by phone just fine, but when it comes to the app, it tells me to connect device.

NO REFUND OPTION. Hope that got your attention…After reading other comments I won’t waste my time trying to get my money back. I accept the directions on my camera to be brief/vague but I’d expect an app - with limitless options for character detail - to explain how this is supposed to work. My thumb has cramped trying to click my way thru using just my camera “menu” button. It’s been an hour, I’ve made no progress. I need a drink and a handful of Advil. Frustrated!

Go camera. This app doesn't even work. I took one picture thru the app and it froze and I couldn't even see us trying to take pictures. To make it worse, I've only had a chance to try use it today but purchased it about 2 weeks ago but it wouldn't connect then. Now I can't even get a refund on it.

Horrible Useless App. I have a Sony HDR-CX440... does not allow me to see the video being recorded. Only good for pictures... NOT video. When connecting wirelessly keeps dropping connection as soon as I (X) out of connection screen.

It does not work. I have an iphone13 and my phone keeps freezing aling with it not working with my camera. READ THE REVIEWS First!! I wasted money on this app, I hope it works for someone. I requested a refund through email as this company is based out of Australia and I'm State side.

Still doesn’t connect to camera. Tried numerous times to connect to my camera and camera still can’t recognize/connect. App should have other steps to connect directly with camera. Should be something in settings.

Poor Buisness. I downloaded the app to connect to my Sony A7S and they claimed it would transfer photos to my phone, which I paid $8 for and it couldn’t even do that. I tried to get a refund TWICE and it was denied both times with no explanation on why it was denied. I’m out $8 on an app that I can’t even use…

So sad. I bought the app for 6.99$CAD and I understood that it doesn’t work with my Sony a7ii.. I don’t understand why. I spent around 3 hours for figure out the reason. And still can’t find the reason. Want my money back!

Can not be Sony certified app. Very bad design and has trouble connecting to my Sony DSC QX10. I will not recommend this app to anyone. Save your money and use Sony’s free app that is much better. I need my money back.

AVOID this app. I’d love to get my money back. If you just want to watch a scrolling load wheel for pretty much all features - then this is right for you. If you want to improve your Sony camera with an app - DON’T GET THIS ONE.

Really good idea, but way too buggy. I really like the idea of this app. It's much nicer to look at than PlayMemories, unfortunately it's incredibly unresponsive. Half of the buttons (including the troubleshooting buttons) do nothing, and after using the app to command a Sony camera to shoot a photo, the app freezes up and leaves you with a loading screen. The camera also experiences a very long delay between the time the shoot button is pressed and the time the camera actually shoots, though that may not necessarily be the app's fault. I'm really looking forward to updates for this app, unfortunately it's just not quite there yet.

Good alternative to Sony. Seems to work well, and also appears to be more reliable than Sony's native app. For example, using the Sony app yesterday (which is why I searched for another one) when I went back to the app to take a shot, it would often fail to allow me to take a picture, causing me to force-quit the app. This app seems to work, and has a few features the PlayMemories lacks. I cannot explain past negative reviews, although the app was just updated so maybe bugs fixed? I report back and see if it drops a star or two, but so far so good. Now about that Apple Watch...

A good start. I don't want to discourage the developer, I am excited someone is trying create apps for the Sony QX10 & 100 but this app is not reliable when taking pictures. Unfortunately, it consistently looses connection where as the default app (PlayMemories Mobile) does not. The simplistic nature of the app is great but it still needs a lot of work. I also had trouble saving photos after I used the built in editor. I hope the developer continues to improve upon this app - it has the potential to blow the default app away.

Total rip off!. it does none of the things it claims to. It's slow, has no ability to access video/still settings. cannot do smooth zooming. I bought this thinking it would be better than the Sony play memories mobile app for my QT 100. - Great camera rather poor software. But Sony beats this times 100– 3 dollars down the drain.

Is not doing anything. The app is not controlling anything, no ISO no speed, is showing the image and is controlling the shutter.

Doesn't connect, help section doesn't work. I can't get this to connect the way I'm used to connecting my camera to apps and the help section doesn't load when you press the button; instead it loads a keyboard that you can't dismiss. I wouldn't recommend this app.

Amazing app. Truly one of the best photo editor apps out there. The exposure changing feature is amazingly good. Easy to use, worth paying for.
