💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Subscription required for features I already paid for. This app was great for looking up words on the go, adding them to my word collections, and translating them to different languages. I also enjoyed the learn tab that helped me build my vocabulary through interactive quizzes. However, the recent update 9.5 ruined everything by requiring a subscription to access these features. This is unfair because I already paid for the app and I should be able to use all the features without paying more. I want my money back or my features restored.

Drag & Drop Feature Is a Pain. Great app, but it’s just extremely hard to do Drag & Drop. Sometimes it’s not even working. The app would me nicer if it allowed me to just double tap a word for definition instead of the unnecessary pain of the pointless Drag & Drop function.

Total Package. If you’re a fan of learning this application makes a small does the the dictionary interesting with a smooth background, picture, definition, and audio pronunciation sample.

Clever, unique, elegant vocab builder. I love this app! I love words and dictionaries. I own lots of dictionary apps. I teach English to non-English speakers, ESL. Contrary to another reviewer or two, I find this to be a unique, browsable, and helpful vocabulary builder. It's NOT a simple dictionary, a reference, that's not the best purpose - it's something to sit and spend time with. I wouldn't recommend it solely to use as a dictionary for quick look ups. I don't need such interesting distraction, I would stay in the app, get lost in words, and not get back to my work. Also contrary to another reviewer, they are NOT words common to daily ordinary American English speakers. You may have at least heard many words, studied them for testing, and even gleaned the meanings from context. There will be words you've heard many times and may even use but you never looked them up yourself, those words you can use and describe with examples but cannot cite a definition. So it's very interesting. You get visual imagery, etymology, grammar and related words. And links to more comprehensive definitions, a wiki. The presentation of each word is colorful and appealing without cartoonish sensibilities. By simply visually browsing you can learn, hone, or refresh your vocabulary without the tedium of drilling, memorizing, or winding thru long repetitious dictionary definitions.

Cool idea, meh execution. I love expanding my vocabulary and learning new things. The app (but not apt) description says that drawings and examples help you retain the words, except for how they don’t at all. Only about a third of the definitions show the words used in a sentence. In some cases, the artist seems to have chosen the least common meaning of a word to illustrate. The Wikipedia links are sometimes irrelevant, like the word ‘evanescence’ linking to a page about the musical group and not the word.

Everything you want from a dictionary. I love this app and it always makes me happy when I open it up. It has all the meat and potatoes you want from a dictionary app: easy to use, complete and thorough, excellent origin details and Wikipedia info and a full thesaurus. It's also very easy on the eyes with a beautiful minimalistic design that is fun and clever without being garish. Every time I come here to look up a word, I end up perusing. Couldn't recommend more.

Not impressed with the bait and switch. I bought this app when it first came out. I was impressed. It’s very good. However now that I’ve purchased it they’re asking me to purchase it again through a subscription. Unimpressive business model. Frustrated. Won’t be subscribing.

Would give it 5 Stars, if not for some key missing features. So I love this app and always find ways to increase my usage but I feel this app is missing a couple features that I think it should have one of those features is the ability to generate random words what I mean by that is there should be an option like Wikipedia's random article feature where we can jump from one word to another real fast which gives us a reason to open the app randomly and use it more. Also Japanese translations were supposed to be there but so far that is also missing. Fixing these features and adding a few interesting features will make me give this app a perfect rating and recommend it more. Edit - the developer has addressed the bug and I got access to lifetime with no issues, they were very helpful in addressing my concerns in a timely manner.

Best in class!!. Are use this app on my iPhone on my Apple Watch, and on my MacBook. After and recent minor issue where my collections were lost during an app update, I am now very confident that the developer has integrity and will seek quickly to correct any issues. This has given me confidence in continuing to use this excellent app. I love to use this app. Whenever I discover a word that I would like to add to one of my collections it is easy to get the definition and add it right away to either one or multiple collections. I love that on the MacBook version of the app I can export a PDF file of any one of my collections along with definitions. That allows me to export my own back up of my collections on a periodic basis and allows me to easily share my collection of words with someone else. My wife and I are able to each use the app because the app allows for family sharing. I greatly appreciate that and it adds more value to the subscription.

Worldly chaos. The app displays one word on the corner Apple Watch complication but when you click the app displays a totally different one and there’s no way to see the one from the complication. While on iPhone widget there’s another word and if you click it’s a totally random 4th word inside the app. At least on iPhone you can check previous words. This bug is never fixed.

Weak Attempt. Let me start by saying that I have no problem paying for a dictionary app; new words fascinate me and Lookup looked like a ‘fun’ dictionary. And the reality is that this application is actually very pretty- the night mode is stylish and word of the day drawings actually motivate me to open it frequently, which is something a dictionary app has never compeled me to do. But it’s greatly deterred by the fact that so many of the real, English words I’ve looked up are hit with a ‘no results’ find. In fact, it seemed that any word beyond a high school-level vocabulary could not be found. The reality is that a dictionary app is primarily used to define words we may find in our day-to-day lives and just aren’t familiar with, and there are plenty of free dictionary apps with things such as built-in thesauruses or far more information/uses behind the word that you are searching than this app can offer. The only true thing that Lookup has going for it are it’s looks, and that unfortunately doesn’t justify its price tag.

Pretty but slow. It’s got a good interface and looks, but content is shallow and brief. M-W or Webster dictionaries provide more info. Also definitions are pulled from internet and not stored locally, so in places with slow or no internet it does not work. It’s not for word study, it will only give you very brief definitions without examples or much of etymology. I recommend paid version of merrian webster if you really want a functional dictionary. I don’t know why apple is promoting this app. Like I said, it’s all about the looks, not brains.

How to restore purchase to unlock 🔓. If you have the lifetime access for people that has bought this app a long time ago, you can restore your purchase. In the app, just tap on Discover on the bottom left scroll down and then tap under Store purchase. Then you will have all the features unlocked like you had before. This app is really great 😎🙌🏻👍🏻🌸🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠

Continues to be a 5 star app.. 2nd Update: It works now. Restoring to 5 stars. Update: Developers replied asking me to update to version 9.6.1. I did. I didn’t work. I bet there are no issues collecting those subscription fees though. First review: Really?!? Paying for the app wasn’t enough? Now you want a monthly subscription too? Stop spamming the app with your subscription model. You have to be a lummox (I learned this word with your app) to pay a monthly fee for what is basically a fancy dictionary / thesaurus.

Good all-purpose Dictionary App. It’s pretty good, for the words it includes. Thanks for allowing me to restore purchase from previous iPad. Unfortunately, it will not allow me to sync favorite words from my other device. Not a huge word base, but I like the UI and the amount of information included.

Best Dictionary App. I love that they are always ready for the newest features of iOS when it comes out. Best dictionary app I’ve used.

Feature to organize collections !!. It is really a good app however can we get some feature to organize the collections like sorting etc.

Amazing app. This is the only app I’ve run into that makes consulting a dictionary appealing. I love the word of the day widget. I bought for macOS and iOS. Yes, there are free online dictionaries, but they don’t look anywhere as good as this app or encourage you to actually learn new words in the way lookup does. 100% recommended.

Excellent App. Easy to use and has a ton of features. I like how the watch app lets you dictate or scribble. My only suggestion would be an option to also display word origins on the watch app!

Widget is glitched. Bought the app for the widget which worked fine for the first couple of days but now it does not update anymore

Great app but keep getting the same word in the daily alert.. Great app but when I get the notification of the word of the day it has been “acrophobia” for the last 2 weeks. In app and in widgets the word changes but not in the notification.

Great graphics, ok app. The pictures are great but the app always struggles to load and the words reset at odd times of the day. Honestly, it’s worth half of what they charge which isn’t a lot but it’s a glitchy app. It does let you save your favorites and you can look at past words (whenever it eventually loads). All in all, it’s a pretty fair app for people who love words, they just need to work out some kinks.

Was a great app. Ever since they introduced lookup plus this app has become unusable. Why would I pay a subscription service for a dictionary app that I already payed for? It’s honestly pathetic and unless they revert the changes or at least let anyone who bought the app prior to have a free subscription, the devs aren’t getting anymore of my money.

Brilliant app. Great developer. This developer has improved his app since it was first launched. If you are a lover of words this app will be your new favorite

Not able to restore!!. Update: the update 9.5.2 fixed it for me , Thanks 🙏🏻 Original post: Not able to restore my purchase after the new update Please fix it and thank you

Great app, needs to improve. The design is just awesome, I’ve found a lot of words with good definitions and also with good-looking illustrations. I only have one problem, when tapping the ‘pronunciation’ button, I don’t hear anything, even when the sound is on its max level.

A joyous moment. When you sit down with a cup of coffee or tea, and that moment is empty but not sad. You look around and want something interesting but not overwhelming to enter that space. The perfect space for “Lookup”! Try it. It surprised me. It is fun, valuable and a real contribution.

Missing a basic notification setting. You can't set a time for the daily word of the day notification. This is absolutely ridiculous. Look Up sends me the notification in the middle of the night, meaning it gets buried with all the other notifications that I get overnight. Allow me to choose a time and I'll reconsider this app. It might be a fun app to browse words in every once-in-a-while, but currently isn't very useful as a daily vocabulary builder.

Update to LookUp+ finally worked!. Update: changing my rating to 5 stars now that the update has worked. Great app!! I have updated the app to version 9.5.1, but still can’t update to LookUp+ !!! Please fix this!!! Supposedly this update was to fix this exact issue yet I’m still not able to update… just get a spinning wheel indefinitely when I try to restore purchase. Will rate the app 5 stars when this issue gets resolved.

Positive attitude. I bought this app because the developer is positive about Apple on Twitter. He is not cynical. I have really enjoyed using the app. It is well designed and a delight to explore. Thank you for making it.

What is the main purpose of this app?. Great app BUT the main thing that I come on this app to do is SEARCH. Your landing page should probably include the search bar somehow. That extra tap to get to the search page irks me. Thanks.

Great Dictionary!. A good app. I like the look of the interface and it is super easy to use. I just wish there were more options for language. For instance, Chinese simplified or Chinese traditional.

Please add search functionality!. It would be awesome if when you click on the search tab, it auto selects the search bar, instead of needing to click it as well. All other dictionaries I’ve tried have this feature. Super simple, but extremely helpful. Please 🙏🏼

Very much enjoy!. I very much like this app, makes learning words more enjoyable, and I enjoy the colorful illustrations. I wish there was a built-in thesaurus, though, so I can see antonyms in addition to synonyms, which also unfortunately are not included with all words. I contacted the developer to see if he has any plans to add a thesaurus, and he replied back within a day to say that he’s definitely looking into the possibility of adding antonyms to LookUp, although it’s not on the immediate roadmap.

No longer works.. This app use to work great, everyday it would give me a new word of the day, but once I switched over to an iPhone 13 Pro the app no longer gives me a new word. It’s been stuck on the same home page with the same words for weeks. When I uninstall and reinstall it finally gives me a new word but now it’s stuck on that new word and it’s been a week with no change. I receive no new word and the home page doesn’t update with any new recommended words.

Not Worth it. I purchased this app for the Word of the Day option. There is no way to set a specific time for notifications. The notifications are hit or miss. Sometimes I get one but most of the times I don’t. Also the Word of the Day has been the same word for two day. I don’t know why Apple features these apps that clearly don’t work properly and are not worth it.

I second the 'all looks, less content'. Inefficient. That's it. I shut the app up coz I'm tired of waiting those few seconds for the app to even 'show up'. And the widget is terrible! Shows mostly just the word. But sometimes, just by chance, ends up showing the definition too. Clearly shows that the app was built in a very mediocre manner.

Fantastic App!. I love learning new words and word origins. This app has wonderful graphics, origins and pronunciation. It has landscape mode for ipad and looks great on the iphone because the words and graphics are in a big tile. If you love words get this app!

Look up is a daily dose of nerd fun. Hey this won’t show what I’m writing I would fix your review box Look up is an adorable little app I love seeing how esoteric the word of the day can be it’s always about 50/50 that I will already know it but my vocabulary is fairly extensive.

Smile to Like. This app is all about attention to detail and adding the latest iOS features. All bundled in a clean and well designed app, that’ll help you learn new words. The smile to like feature worked perfectly.

Just one problem. Great app, but when I click on words in my Liked Words or Collections lists, after I go back, the list keeps scrolling all the way back to the top, causing me to lose my original place. Please fix this, thanks!

Awesome app that adds to your day.. Fantastic App. Think I only had to pay once but I would pay a subscription to have the app further developed. I would like to see more Apple Watch notification features. For example: I would like to have the ability to adjust how many times I get notified a day and at what times. Learn through more repetition. I would also like to have quizzes as notifications with adjustable frequencies and times. Long term, could be fun to have Siri listen to user use the word in a sentence and verify. Longer term, teach grammar? (Maybe another app) :)

The best dictionary I’ve ever owned. This is a wonderful app! Love the full support of the features of iOS; the widgets are great, they’ve built in Siri commands, and robust features for thesauruses, translation, and etymologies. I wish they had definition lookups for the words you get wrong in the quizzes they provide/curate (GRE Prep please!), and had an option to display one or two translations alongside/below the pronunciation guide! These couple of features would elevate the experience of the voracious consumers of information this app have been so satiated by so far!

Word of the day complication not refreshing. This is an amazing app save for the fact that despite the app showing the current word of the day, the watch face complication will refuse to refresh unless I restart the whole watch. The word of the day also doesn’t change at the start of each day; it changes in the middle, at least for me. It would be amazing if there was an option for the word of the day to only change in the morning, so that there is actually a new word at the start of every day (even if it means I’m technically not caught up to what the current word is; like, my word of the day would lag behind the “real” one so that it switches in the morning of my time zone). I would gladly pay a subscription if that’s what it would take for these features to be implemented. Either way, thanks.

Is it worth it?. This is a fun little app with good widgets that does what it says on the tin — a new word every day with an accompanying definition. I was fortunate enough to get it when you could buy a lifetime “pro” version for a one time, $10 purchase; I can’t honestly say that I would pay a monthly or annual subscription for it. Also, while most of the art for the daily words is inoffensive at worst, it occasionally features these creepy, large-eyed characters that look rather like what you would expect of a fake children’s book in a horror film. I always hide the widget when that art style features because I find it unnerving.

American Accents. Neat app so far but it would perfect if we could have the option to change the pronunciation voice to an American accent. Certain words are a bit tough to fully take in because of the British accents. Thank you.

Writing down lists of words — no more. This is the app to finally do away with dictionary lookups and then keeping a list elsewhere to remember and practice.

LOVE. i’m obsessed with this app. i love words and it is so cool. the only reasons i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was because it can be a bit glitchy and slow. plus, i wish that when i hit my favorites the words would still pop up with the image, instead of just the word and definition. but i love this app.

Might as well charge to download the app. This app is horrible. You get the app, it gives you two words for two days. And then asks you to pay $30 a year to get more. The primary purpose of this app is to give you fun word of the days but then instantly locks it behind a pay wall. What is the point of that! There’s plenty of other features of the app that are locked behind a pay wall… why not keep it at that and let us have the BARE MINIMUM advertised in the app! Horrible decision in my opinion to advertise an app as free but to then make it absolutely useless unless you join their subscription model. Stay away from this junk of an app.

Love the app, BUT…. I recently upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro and I noticed my battery was draining rather quickly. So I went into the settings and saw that over the last 24 hours a whopping 27% of battery usage was from the LookUp app. Under where it says LookUp app it lists “audio” as the activity that is causing the battery drain. I really do love this app…I even have the widget on my home screen. I’m a bit of a vocabulary nerd so this app really filled that niche. But if this battery drain isn’t resolved, I don’t see how I can keep it on my phone. I will upgrade my rating if the battery issue is fixed.

Fix this glitch. If you have the app set to stay open in the background, the word of the day will never refresh. There is still a glitch where the quiz never refreshes, and I haven't been able to fix that

Very neat. Good looking and less clutter. Great app! However Iwould like to know about the widget. It would be great if there is an option to show daily words on a widget

Good content but very irritating wait time for result. The app’s content is great but I need to wait for an average for 4 to 5 seconds every time I need to search a word. It might seem small, but wait until you start using it…

Not suggest you to get this. How do you want me to discover new word? For instance if I decide to learn new words everyday accessing to your flash cards I have to scroll down every single time in order to see? Useless thing. I want my money back

In app purchase. Looks good but you can't do anything except see word of day. Everything is blocked unless you pay.

Best Dictionary App!. I love this app! The way it presents new words/definitions to you every day in beautifully illustrated flash cards, with the word in a sentence included, is fabulous. Being able to save individual words to multiple lists is a really useful function, especially for students and writers looking to expand their vocabulary. There’s also a thesaurus included. I’d recommend this app to everybody over the age of 12.

Lock Up. Enjoyed the app for years. Now after an update there are locks everywhere. This completely destroys the feel. As only an occasionally user, this lock up of the App has been ruined. The version in early days was an excellent, simply beautiful creation.

Needs bi-direction search. Hi Developers I really love the app. I hope you can implement bi-direction search in the future. Right now I can only search words in English and they will be translated into my language, but not the other way around.

Most gorgeous dictionary. The first and best dictionary that follows iOS guidelines and looks like a native app. Unlike others that look inconsistent and have various issues. I just wish the search was instant. If it was, it would be absolutely perfect

Looks good but dictionary search is really bad. No doubt the dictionary looks good but search results are really slow and sometimes it would keep on loading even for very obvious words. Then I’ll end up opening other dictionaries.

Best dictionary app!. Without a doubt this is the best app for looking up the words. Great work! Also it takes a LOT of icloud storage, even bigger than the app itself.

Simply amazing. This app is definitely one of the best apps I have. It’s extremely useful to enhancing vocabulary, it’s beautiful and most importantly it has a great privacy policy. I cannot recommend it enough. It’s simply amazing.

Helpful app. I found the app really helpful. The design simple and crisp. It's easy to navigate as well. Overall a nice app.

yo mama. yo mama so clumsy she got hit by a parked car

Best dictionary so far. It’s the best app that I’ve seen to learn and save the new words you’ve learned and later use the pdf as well. Before I had to google every word and open in every new tab and then I used to compile it in word. But now this app is all I need😍

Beautiful but does not sync to Watch. Firstly. this is a beautiful app and the use of images really enhances the user experience. Unfortunately, the collections and favourites do not sync between the iPhone and the Apple Watch which is disappointing

Suggestions. 1. Add French translation please 2. Support play pronunciation on the widget. 3. No machine pronunciation, we need real humans voice! 5. Your widget has a big issue. It keeps refreshing every few minutes, which is really annoying seeing it says loading and I had to remove it! To me the widget is pretty much the only useful thing from this app. I hope you can fix it and make my money worth it!

User. LookUp is very useful and handy app to have on any iOS device. It helps to conserve time while reading a physical book or searching randomly for a word. Usually opening a browser / google/ yahoo search apps to find a meaning is expensive in terms of time and a person loses interest. LookUp is a good alternative to it. Its a convenient dictionary for any user who needs to have a utility app in least space on their phones/ iPad.

GREEDY (deleting this app!!!). It’s fine to make this app a subscription based model but some basic features should be freemium like hearing the pronunciation of words.

Collections are getting deleted after 24 Hours. Everything is great with respect to the range of words that are available and UI are concerned. But there is a problem with the Collections. We i create a collection to save words they get deleted after 24 hours. Not sure whether it’s a bug or a feature. It will be very helpful is they don’t get removed.

NICE!. It would be best to add a quote a day and a word a day, seeing as where this could be going. Have them lined up side by side or something.

Can't rate. Won't launch. Can't really rate this. I can't get it to get past the loading screen.

Awesome. One of the best dictionary / vocabulary learning apps I’ve ever tried. Absolutely love the graphics—so helpful for learning new words. But as some others have said, the dictionary quite often loads very slowly. Please do something about it? Thanks.

Great app. I read about this on today’s “Mac Stories”. Looks like a great app. They like it, and so do I.

Not like it says it is. Downloaded for the word of the day widget feature advertised, which doesn’t work, the widget shows nothing And the word of the day stopped after 2 days even in the app and haven’t showed anything. Had a potential but didn’t turn out to be nice.

Terrible "iOS 10" Design. I reinstalled seeing the update but it didn't help, uninstalled again. Seems Watch and iMessage apps come first though. Terribly awful iOS 10 inspired design that doesn't work, slow, with no dark theme like prior. Big bold flashy is jarring to deal with. Keep it simple. Before it was subtle and nice. Lost that.

Horrible optimization. Useful app. However, the App is horrendously crafted and countless visual caveats. Please pay someone to do your design properly. I can't believe they actually featured your app despite the obvious UI problems.

Beautiful with cool features but the dictionary is lacking. Hands down the most beautiful dictionary app in the AppStore and I really like the idea of organizing words in to collections. Having said that, the actual dictionary is sub par. A relatively simple (to readers) and common word like “haughtily” doesn’t have an entry. I can only imagine what else is missing. Also, not really a complaint but their choice for word of the day seems relatively simple compared to other dictionary apps.

Canada. Nice app but the etymology of Canada is not Portuguese as app says. OMG. It is from the Huron-Iroquois word kanata meaning village or settlement.

Simple & Elegant.. Great definition tool with simple use and lots of functionality. Looking forward to see what future updates will bring.

Offline use. I would love it if you could implement offline use for all applications.

Most compelling dictionaries very intuitive UI. By far, the best rendition of a visual dictionary designed specifically for electronic format (take that Britannica) with a compelling visual, rapid way of wanting to learn new words. ( take that Webster, Oxford, erc) Family integration is a great way to keep in sync with my kid and spouse. The additional extra language translation is an unexpected bonus. As are the external links. Decent subscription model. Excellent choice of widgets style. Works specifically well on my iPad , with a landscape tuned UI layout. I got the lifetime. I genuinely wish they will not lose their way. I'm rooting for them to not disappear as some big names did or made confusing and/or unreasonable priced decisions. Kudos !

A joy to use!. LookUp is a simply beautiful and a pleasure to use. A must-have for anybody who communicates in English. Thanks and kudos to the app creators.

Crashes often. Crashes often. Scrolling down Discover. I like to see the new words in Discover. I’ll be scrolling for a few seconds and then it crashes. I then have to scroll past where I was to see new words. Crashes again.

Only thing missing is offline support. Great app on all platforms.

First app I rated a 5 star for. Omg, I love this app, I started getting it when we had to learn 5 new words each day and now I am IN LOVE with this app.

Needs work. Many of the example sentences contain grammatical errors (which is unacceptable for a dictionary app). Also, the new widget doesn’t update at all, it’s still stuck on showing me the word of the day from three days ago.

I love this app!!. The layout of this app is easy for me to remember and understand each word. Specially for a truck driver like me.🧐

Finally. Finally works a bit better and the way it’s supposed to look Keep working on content and the pronunciation voice, use Siri maybe

need to sync between different equipment. when using a new iPhone or iPad, it can't get collection things. I lose all.

Good app. The widget doesn’t refresh as often as I would have hoped. The option to smile to like a work is cool use of the Face ID camera.

Such a shame. The update note says, “Existing users get lifetime access”; however, it’s untrue as after updating, I’ve discovered features I initially had access to are locked.

I love the Quizz feature. Beautiful app , i just like all the new words and then test myself in the quizz feature. It is the best

Please add example sentences. The pictures and graphics are neat, but without example sentences the words by itself are extremely hard to memorize and comprehend.

I love this app. Great job on design but the app is not opening the words on iOS 15

Never stop learning!. I love looking up the meaning of words. To have this app at my fingertips is great and very helpful .

My liked words are missing!. I just woke up to find my liked words completely wiped out.

Nice interface, weak contents. The bads 1. No offline access to dictionary 2. No access to dictionary in China mainland 3. Dictionary quality is questionable. I find oxford dictionary to be the most accurate out of others. But the offline app’s interface is terrible and old. 3. Searching for a word is not a snap due to network communications The goods 1. Awesome interface, it’s a joy to use 2. Easy to organize words one wish to learn 3. Cool icon!

Excellent app. Please bring back the old icon. It’s much more elegant than the new one.

No Offline Mode. Great app; missing basic offline functionality.

I don’t see any words any more — it’s all locked behind an IAP. I think something is wrong as everything is just a lock now; saying I need to purchase. I don’t even see a single word I’m wondering if something went wrong?

Gorgeous app. I am an iOS developer for a direct competitor, and this app is wonderful. Fantastic shared geometry transitions, quizzes that are fun to play, and a simple beautiful design and experience unencumbered by ads.

Promising but lacking functionality. Unfortunately the beautiful design of the app is overshadowed by how slow content is loaded. Furthermore, there’s no notification to alert you of the word of the day which makes it difficult for me to keep visiting the app. I also expect dictionary apps to help me explore new words not just show a history.

Useless unless you pay. Paywall protected pronunciations. I cannot imagine a list of features that would somehow make this comparable to a real dictionary app. The clipart is dated and distracting, but seemingly the only feature of distinction. So many better options one click away.

Pretty Good but Could Be Better. I’ve been looking for an app for a while where I can save collections of words so I really like this, but I wish their was an option to alphabetize lists.

Good app.. My only probably with this app is iOS 11, the lag in scrolling but shouldn’t that be solved soon by iOS 12.

Deletes data saved. After an update most( and almost all ) of my saved words were deleted including various categories I have made and saved. Was a great app but is discerning that anything I save in there can be lost with a simple update.

Excellent App. Lookup is a great dictionary app with cool ui. It would be nice if users could also save, for example, sentences to collections.

An old user can’t reach Lookup+. I’m an old user and I still can’t reach the full version of the app even after the new update that says bugs are fixed . I bought this app in its paid version so I will not pay for subscription . When will this issue be solved?

Beautiful, but.... No offline mode? Inability to download select words, if not, the entire library? As much as I love the look of this app, it requires a constant internet connection in order to function. Unfortunately needs to be deleted.

Fun app. I like using these definitions as flash cards to help myself learn new words. I review them later to check how many I remember.

Works Well on Phone not IPad. iPhone 12Pro app is very good. On my iPad Pro Word of the Day close’s the app.

I am loving this app. Initially, it was very basic with just word of the day. But, I am impressed with changes these guys are bringing with every update. Adding flashcards will make it more exciting.

Great Dictionary!. A good app. I like the look of the interface and it is super easy to use. I just wish there were more options for language. For instance, Chinese simplified or Chinese traditional.

I love words.. You rarely stump me, but when you exact a superior linguistic skill, I AM DELIGHTED! 66 years old and committed to learning and perfecting my language abilities until I am no more.

Not the Dictionary. I find LOOKUP to be a quick reference and with the pronunciation of words help full. However there are words that sometimes aren’t found. Then again with so many words today can anyone keep up?

Good dictionary app. App didn’t open the first day I purchased it, but it seems to be functioning now.

Graphics clean; intuitive. Synonyms included and saving personal collection very good

Wish it had pre made collections. Or a collection store, like Anki

Improvements. Hello , wonderful developers may I ask if you could add offline contents to somewhere do not have the internet connection? Thanks

Thesaurus. Would like a thesaurus pop up with every word I search (unless of course, a word somehow doesn’t have a synonym)!

Pretty good. Word of the day doesn’t always refresh. I often need to manually refresh it which is a daily annoyance. App is great besides that.

Awesome app. I just bought this app and it’s incredible, my main reason to buy this app was because I wanna fix my pronunciation and it works with iPhone and Apple Watch ✋🏼

Great App. This is a really great app for learning new words and putting them into a visual perspective. Almost every word in this app have a picture associated with it. Great app worth the $.

Doesn’t work offline. Why can’t you just use it offline like a dictionary?

Elegantly Presented and Informative. LookUp manages to communicate both the definition and meaning of an entry. It succinctly and powerfully depicts its results in an consistent and descriptive format that makes each word an experience. Highly recommended.

Liked Words Are Removed. Overall a pretty app, but when I like a word to save it so I can better learn it better, the liked word later gets removed. Not helpful for learning the word.

Get my paid status back. Thanks to the latest update, I can unlock lookup+ automatically.

2thumbs up. Awesome app good way to learn new words during my leisure and down time. Everything is Copacetic 😉

Cool but slow and crashes often. The app crashes intermittently when I search for a definition
