OK, but Apple Watch OS 4.0.1 app is buggy. Constantly requested to allow GPS location tracking in Watch OS version. The point is not to need my phone any longer on CEL S3 Apple Watch! On the phone, the app has many confusing buttons and settings behind other buttons and screens. It is not a quick learn to use app; steep learning curve required.

This could be it!. Looks like just what we need. We travel a lot and need to find an app that provides a route, put in notes and take pics. This app appears to have it all! I will update during June when we start traveling again. Looks like a travel journal.

Great for tracking hikes, bike rides, etc. Nice app for tracking hikes or bike rides, etc. Nice to see your track on a map, and the elevation history, and to be able to sync the data to their web site for easier viewing. Speed is very noisy but I’m sure that’s a GPS limitation. Also occasionally I get points that are far off of my track, which mess up the view, but again I would imagine that is a GPS issue.

Great app for tracking trips.. Makes maps of your trips, every turn stop and road including time. This is perfect for wonder trips. See something cool just look back at the track and know the path you took. Looking at homes perfect for house hunting. A must have tool!

Wonderful app but need some improvements. 🚘 This is the app all you need when your traveling because it tracks locations can take pictures at any location. Gps is almost accurate ( 10-25ft ). The only improvements it should have is speed limit, because we travel frequently in different roads and highways, it always be difficult to know the speed limit of that road, so it would be nice if this app has an extra feature to show my speed and also highway speedlimit.

Perfect for what I needed.. This is a very stable and feature filled app. I had purchased 2 others that did not have the functionality. I am a novice and find that all the features I need are at my fingertips.

Great app. This app is loaded with features. The graphs of elevation seem to be accurate. The various maps that can be selected put this app well above others.

Works well for my class assignment. Was easy enough to learn, does an effective job of tracking data. Only wish it would allow me to email the files via my gmail app instead of only through the normal iPhone email app.

When it works it’s great. I love this app and i really recommend it. It will be great to have an auto save track, sometimes when you are tracking a route the app closes or looks that it’s not recording anymore. The auto save track feature will be great, at least to have some of the track when this happens.

Maps are dated. App looks clean and loved the idea of offline maps, however when checking my daily route it was missing a road extension that has been in place for over 3 years. If the maps are this old how can I trust the directions, especially if I am in a new location without coverage.

Limited use.... Apparently "route planning" features require leaving a review, so here's my review: The app developer apparently chose to force reviews in order enable features rather than creating a great product they could be sure people would want to review because of the obvious quality. I can't review the feature that's locked because it's locked, I guess. But it's confusing because the wording was funny... "Do you want to leave a review and have the possibility of using route functions...." I guess I'll have to see if I get the feature or not. Maybe a sour review results in no feature? Who knows. Otherwise the app seems really quite good. This whole bit perplexed me and strikes me as a bit odious.

Interesting. This is a forced review as anyone who purchased the app would know. At least they didn't force you to rate them a 5 or anything. Given this, it still is a good app.

Great app. Has a lot of options, also it records your tracks. I wish it was possible to save maps for offline use without the app purchase.

Best App for Tracking but some Bugs and Inconveniences. There’s a bug that marks all images taken at lat=0 and long=0 when the track is paused. It wasn't a problem in previous versions. There's no way that I can see to set tracks to private BEFORE uploading to the cloud. Only online can it be changed. There's not private links for sharing uploaded tracks. Can only be public if you want to share it with someone. There's no way to send a PDF with an overview of the track (pictures, maps, stats, charts).

Works great but may crash on long tracks. Track Kit has been a great tool and works really well. The ability to save tracks online is very useful. However, on three occasions when I have tracked all day I lost my data when Track Kit either quit or froze before I could save.

Powerful navigation tool. Best bang for buck.. I'm quite impressed with what you get for the price. It turns your iPhone into a powerful navigation tool for a few dollars. Can be a great learning tool as well and will get you excited about your hikes with all its tracking and info features. As for improvements: I wish documentation was more detailed and easier to find (like a visible help button to get you started). Downloading offline maps also felt a bit buggy - when selecting the layers of tiles to save locally the program gives you certain download size but once I downloaded them the size was 3 times smaller on flash which left me with questions on whether it's reliable. Repeating the process didn't make any difference. Haven't tried the online features so can't comment on them. Overall amazing tool that can be very powerful if you know how to use it. To the developers: Please continue to polish and develop it as people already love it!

Great gps. Works very well!! Tracks everything you could want to track. An very accurate. Wish it didn't run in the background at all times you have to remember to put on gpa save mode when you don't want to use it or it will track everything an everywhere you go!! I only wish they make it to track when the app was open an running in background but if you double click your home button an manually close the app from the background that it would stop tracking you an free up memory, not that memory on the 6splus is a big deal still nice it don't drain the battery when you aren't using it . Why I'm ranking 4 stars but still a very nice put together app an well worth the price ! An no bugs!!!! As of yet lol

First impressions. So far the app is great, used it twice to track where we went on our off road adventures. Have not tried the planning tool yet, will be doing that soon. I recommend this for tracking where you went.. More to follow...

Refreshing way to track on map. The way this app presents your walking and travel data is very refreshing and clear. Takes a while to take it all in, yet very intuitive and engaging.

Walking in the woods. I am now able to walk in the woods aimlessly and know that I can find my way back to where I started using this app.

Best app on the App Store by far. I absolutely love how the app still tracks you even when the app is not open. Of course when you do not want it to track you just turn it off, but other apps that I have used would turn off once I had closed the app. This one is nice because it stays on all the time and tracks me everywhere I go and I really love that because I am an avid traveler and love to track my courses. Keep everything the same don't change anything. Please don't change anything. There is no app like this one.

Just what I needed. I have been looking for an app like this for a while now. This is a great tool for making sales calls; with this App I can mark my stops and write a description of what I did there. And all while checking my mileage for my expenses.I still have to figure out how to transfer all this information to my laptop. Once that happens, I am gold.

Useful app. Chock full of information. Neat planning/ tracking app. Gave 4 stars only because I have not thoroughly tried all its features. Looks comprehensive however.

Watch out using on iPhone X. I liked the app and found it accurate when used while hiking on iPhone 6S and 7+, but when I use it on my iPhone X the distance shown is 20-30% too high. Surprisingly, it shows the correct distance when checked against a car odometer on the highway. Maybe it just when hiking, but it was good on the older models.

Accurate. I’m finding the accuracy better than other tracking apps.

Photographer’s Helper. I wander looking for old barns and other buildings to photograph. This app keeps my routes and waypoints so I can return to a location at a later date when the light is better.

Great straightforward GPS tracking. I do a good bit of mountain biking, running, motorcycling and driving, and wanted a GPS tracking app that could handle them all without being specially made for one activity. Track Kit does this brilliantly. Feature request: Would love a "dashboard" display that gives you all location stats at once. Would also love an altitude display.

So far so good. Great looking and easy to use UI. Lots of bonus features and extra maps make it helpful.

May be using it wrong.. As I sat down to review this app, I realize that I may be using it wrong. I am walking/mapping and find that the app/iPhone/I seem to be on different plans. The area is steep and has dense brush cover. As a result I get a track full of plots and it seems if I change my mind, I get a plot. I will explore to see if there is a way to reduce the number of plots per minute. I am writing this to see if the planning feature will help since drawing lines in the measurement mode is difficult since the slightest touch drops a point. Over all, I am enjoying the app.

Great app. Download this app. Might be better apps out there but I won't be looking anymore. I am not an app junky. Just want one that is easy to use. This one delivers.

Rich of features and bugs :/. This app has so many features that it's just out of concurrency! But it has much more bugs, sadly. It constantly crashes while recording track, UI freezes sometimes, track info causes crash. Sad that so amazing app is unusable because of bugs.

Great tool for site visits.. I really like being able to turn this app on during site walks, take pictures, and then save the pictures and track as a kmz file to import into Google Earth.

Good App. This a well laid out app; maps are good; many to choose from; app has plenty of features and the price is free. So you get a message that in order to continue to use a feature you have to right a review. No problem, I guess the cost is 1 minute of my time. Still hell of a bargain for what you get.

Great tracking app! Love!. This is a wonderfully featured app for keeping a visual record of a trip or hike or walk! And with built in sun info and compass! A real winner! Would be better if GPS was allowed "when in use" instead of always though!

Totally worth it.. I've used many gps apps before but I find them lacking... This one is a whole other story.

Good features. Pretty happy overall. There's a learning curve to the user interface. If left logging the GPS drains your battery. (I was compensated with app features for this review)

Lots of features with a steep learning curve. I just started using this app about three weeks ago. So far, I'm really enjoying it and I find the maps of my travels front to review. However, the learning curve is pretty steep and some of the icons are not that intuitive. I still have a hard time navigating around the app.

Look no further. Was looking for an app that could track me while I ride this app does that an more.

What I've seen is good. The app seems good so far..... in orders to in lock the route planing feature I am required to write a review. So I need to reserve my opinion of that part of the app until I've had a chance to use it. Yes! I get to write another review later.

Nice app. First time out in the boat in unfamiliar inland waters I set the tracking on and then later followed the saved track back to my origination point. Worked great! Need to get beyond the basics now and use some other features.

Brilliant. Best gps based maps on iPhone for free. Easy to use and the maps are great. I use it for keeping track and following previous 4x4 tracks in Western Australia . Recommended

Stay away from this program. It always tracks.. I would stay away from this program. I was running it with the track running and then I shut the program down. I shut down all of the programs on my iPhone 6 and still this program was somehow recording my GPS data. My location services settings made it clear that this program was still recording my GPS data. I could not get it to stop using my GPS data even when I was no longer running this program. I have no idea how they got around apples controls but this program will kill your battery and tell them everything you do.The location services setting for this program says always. In brackets on the bottom it says it can track even when the program is running in the background; this is standard. Somehow they keep this program running in the background even when you shut it and all of your other programs down. I don't know how they do it. Sounds like a virus to me.

Great Tracking App. I have been using this app for years, it’s great for recording your travels, road trips, hikes, back country exploring, or work travels.

Finally!. Practical interface as opposed to the shiny alternatives. Easy to use. I tried half a dozen apps and all disappointed. They either did not function correctly, or required wads of additional cost to be remotely useful. This app meets my hiking, bicycling, climbing and driving needs, and doesn’t require an in-app purchase to do so. Thank you!

Neat app. I was looking for an app to use the gps with maps, but without using a data plan or wifi... This one seems to have the capabilities. I have yet to test the quality of all the maps, but it looks like you have to download them one after the other to see if they have the street details one needs. Thanks for this.

Useful. This back tracker helped me quite often to cfond my way back, be that in an unknown city or while geocaching in the woods.

Does not work with IOS 17.1.1. My phone updated to 17.1.1 a couple days ago and Track Kit will no longer open. Are there plans to update?

Excellent Offline Route Planner. We are planning a 2 ½ month trip to Cuba and Mexico where there will often be limited (if any) internet access. This app allows us to make detailed plans which will guide us in our travels.

Soooo great. I am a contractor and planning sites out in the bush is super easy now I don't need cell service for it to work great I can take pictures as I go and they are tagged geographically. This app is really good for planning work. Also we have noticed a great use is for tracking routes when my family is backwood hiking we know if it is any good we can save it or if we see something cool we can snap a picture and it shows us when we get home where that was just awesome

Top notch GPS tracking app. I've had this app for a while, but recently began test driving it to prove its capabilities. I'm very impressed!! It includes a lot of functions that you'd expect in a quality tracker, with an intuitive and easy to use, but still very powerful, interface. Highly recommended!! The attention to detail in the user interface is evident and much appreciated.

The Track Kit app a winner! 'THE' GPS add-on app to enhance any trip.. Gotta get it! If you're serious you need a serious app. This is the solution for what GPS ails you. Great add-on for the whole GPS thing. I use it in conjunction with Spyglass Commander/Pro, and the results are fantastic (at least my own particular config which is iPhone 6, 16Gb, iOS 8.4.1). The folliwing cost you a star; Ya gotta fix the 'cut-n'-paste' selector; it keeps switching beteeen 'text selector' and the 'magnifying glass' function gorcing me to re-type a lot! And the 'auto advance/scroll' when typing dosen't sutomatically scroll up causing me to finger EACH carrige return/line advance. small, but, BIG in Annoyance!!! Please FIX in next update and maybe you'll get star back.

Required Review. The route planning feature requires me to leave a review of something I have not yet used. Sight unseen I'll give it a mid review and once I try it out I will be able to re-review it.

No updates in 2 years. Any text screen where it requires input by typing crashes
