Fun, easy, short. Title says it all: it's polished, simple fun, and it's a lot of fun, but it's also very short and not very complicated. Worth a whirl, but no staying power.

Just love it. The nice thing about this app is that it allows for a wide range of difficulty. I like the easier levels because it is relaxing to blow those "ships" up. There are many levels, each with a nice color scheme. The music is fun, arcade-style and sound effects are satisfying. I used to like puzzle games, but with a game like this, one can get immediate pleasure without straining your brain. I would recommend buying all the radian games , such as inferno 2 and Super Crossfight

Wow I love this game.. I play it in dr offices or on break at work. Time just flies. I did however mash the power button which slept my screen, that caused a freeze. I had to force close. But I love it.

Games like this deserve to be bought. Ignore the negative reviews. This game is a blast! Fast, addictive and exciting. A game you can pick up and play for 5 minutes or zone out on for an hour. If you want this same game with varied levels and missions, then pick up Inferno and Inferno 2 by the same developer. They're both awesome too. But this one is great and unique in its own right. Buy it already!!!

Totally kept my attention! For 10 seconds.. Why would anyone play this when there are games like inferno with vastly superior strategy and action. Waste of a buck. It’s like a mini game on a single limited screen with randomly generated baddies.

Great for your free time!. This game is fun and really challenging! Sometimes you need to switch your weapons on certain levels to gain the best advantage against the aliens attacking you.

80s style arcade with today's technology. I love this game. It's simple, pure and utterly challenging. There are varying degrees of difficulty from "relaxed" casual play to zone out to all the way to freaking insanely hard-with-way-too-many enemies. I like to choose the really hard setting sometimes just to see how fast I'm knocked out. I own Inferno+ and Inferno 2, both being really great games by Radian. Joy Joy is another great addition to my collection.

Great game. Made me want to go back and play the other RadianGames titles. But now they feel and look a little old. This thing is so slick, and a lot of fun!

Why subscription now?. When did JoyJoy turn into a subscription service? It’s single-screen Geometry Wars AND a paid app, what value exactly is this subscription adding to this game?

Awesome :). I just got it today free from starbucks but if u r going to buy it its worth it. just one thing ... I would like multiplayer it would be even better but 5 stars completly

Classic Fun. This is a great game with a variety of skill levels. I enjoy it and so does my 4 year old kid.

Fun flashback! 😎. I love brainless shooting games, and this one is awesome! I love the level challenges, and I get better as info through each one! I just wish there was a destination just like most classic shooting games have. The alternative is the point system to get to the next level. Overall, it's a great "new wave" shooting game for Generation Y.

Downloaded it while drunk, but that's cool. I woke up after a night drinking and it was in my phone. But it's a neat game that's easy to play. It really does relieve my stress and wind me down :)

OH MY GOD!. How could anyone give this game a negative review? It is AMAZING and I found it to be better than the inferno games! I love the variety of weapons and upgrades and the ultra power thing is awesome!

Personally, I love it. It doesn't drain my battery, it's also a good challenger. Trains your mind to multitask as well as just going out there and challenging yourself. Very fun

Ridiculous. I made it to level 16 in no time at all and had no idea what I was doing. No tutorial, some words that made no sense to me, and it was one fast, spinning mess with no rhyme or reason. Are there rules? Goals? Some structure to follow or attain? What an utter waste of time. I deleted that one fast and I suggest you do the same. Put in a tutorial, please. Not everyone has played such a game, and believe me, it is NOT "intuitive." And I'll bet you don't even post this review, just the good ones.

Simple & Entertaining. The game seems basic, but honestly grabs your attention. It's relaxing, yet intense, and has some nice effects, multiple weapons, upgrades and even boss fights. To date, it hasn't once asked me for any money. I like it :)

Great game, multiplayer would make it even better. Got this free from Starbucks so I had no expectations. I don't generally like spaceship/shooting games but this one was fast paced and fun enough to hold my interest. Multiplayer would make it amazing.

Fun game but bugs bugs bugs. This game is a lot of fun but the game freezes whenever I receive a message, multitask, come back from sleep mode or get a battery warning. It would be good to have options for control placement so that the ultra can be used while also moving.
