Amazed by this app. By far the best fitness app I've encountered. Variety, clarity, sequencing, top notch trainers and it gets better with each update.
I have never stuck to an app longer than 2 weeks but this app makes me excited to go out for a run or to head to the gym. I love that they have so many workout options and you can filter to meet your needs. Everything is great the way it is I just wish they would add a section where you could plan your next workout and I like how it shows your history but I wish it would say the dates, also instead of the all time stats I wish it could have weekly stats too. Overall I love it and I will continue to use it.
I'm trying several apps at the same time and this was my first workout with sultan. He sounds like a rapper and moves a little too fast but I felt connected to the cool down after. It was like being in a class or with a personal trainer but way cheaper. Word of caution. Play the workout and figure out what you're about to do before performing it. I hurt my elbow and wrist doing walk outs. Otherwise, it's worth a trial and possibly signing up.
Marianna’s Beginner Walk Away class saved me from giving up before I got going. I had found treadmill workouts to be extremely boaring and other instructors seemed to talk down to beginners. It is at the beginner level it is the hardest to get into the wonderful habit of cardio workouts. Marianna’s inspired coaching has helped me to stay on a daily workout program that inspires me to keep going and “fuels” (her verbiage) my getting on the treadmill every day. I tried this program for free to test out the workouts. The options are pretty good and the programs designed are decent. I’m not disappointed by the trainers “ coaching” you along. There’s no enthusiasm, very monotone and bland. This doesn’t keep me motivated during intense bursts or when I’m feeling the burn. Since we’re not at an in person class to feel the vibe of a group we need a coach to keep our levels raised and excited to push through the workout. If my card wasn't already charged I’d cancel.

I love using this app! It’s like I have a personal trainer right by my side! The trainers are always telling me how to correct my form and always pushing me along when I want to give up. The music is always excellent as well!!!
Such a variety of classes and teachers at your fingertips! Makes working out fun and easy. No excuses! The only thing I would say is to maybe make a playlist of workouts not set to music so we have the opportunity to listen to our own. Perhaps having written directions that come onto the screen every so often? Every once in a while I want to listen to specific things that I feel motivated by (80’s, all Beyonce, Broadway music) or want to catch up on a TV show (Game of Thrones). Just a thought- but I looooove this app more and more every workout I do!
Hate treadmills, despise the elliptical, and don’t wear headphones when I run. But now it active, I love you elliptical, treadmill, rowing machine, and running with headphones is mandatory because each workout is different. Keep the great class is coming, keep adding awesome trainers! Thanks!
As my first time trying out yoga, I chose numerous of the beginners classes, but they all assumed some previous knowledge of poses and forms. They refer to poses that, unless someone is familiar with yoga and the poses, you will not be able to do with guided audio only. They should have a category for “pregnancy” friendly classes.
I've used this app since it began and LOVE LOVE it, can't go without it and it just keeps getting better!! Honestly ditch the gym fees and get this for a fraction of that cost!! A personal trainer at your beck and call 😉 thanks aaptiv you guys rock ( especially candice)
Just finished my free trial and will definitely be paying to continue! The trainers are super fun and motivating, the soundtracks are great and I can always find the perfect workout to suit what I want to do that day. 5 stars, highly recommended. One thing that could be added is pictures or videos demonstrating the exercises, some could be hard to follow if you're unfamiliar with the equipment
Definitely worth it. The music's great, the coaches are awesome (Ray is my fave!) and the classes have great variety. I've been using the app for about a month, 3-4 times a week and I look forward to every session. Really great tool if you're like me and need a little push to get going :)

Awesome app for motivation on the cardio machines and for your general body weight movements however I have given the app 3 stars as it would be really great if they could include demonstrations of some of the weight exercises! I find myself having to listen to the weight workouts first and then having to Google some of the movements they are referring to so I can complete the workout correctly. Worth the money though, my very own pocket personal trainer!
This app has it all- there's something for everyone. I've used many fitness apps, and this is by far the best one! Good for beginners, or anyone looking to kick things up a notch in their fitness life.
The concept of this app is great. However, I have a major frustration with how every workout buffers about every minute and then replays the last 30 seconds of what you've heard. Spin classes would be great if they would buffer and there is no point in doing the yoga unless you are experienced.. there is no explanation on how to do the moves nor any diagrams.
This is a great app, but I am confused. Classes that has Electronic music as part of that class is not electronic, when I sprint I expect a song that makes you run, fast not one that makes you drift with the fairies! Please do something about the music APPTIV

If you are like me and always 7-11 mins late for the class you really wanted to do at the gym, then this app is perfect. I can start class at 11:12 (like I just did) or whenever I get my three littles settled in the gym daycare. Makes the time fly by and all of those I have tried offer really specific direction and lots of motivation to continue. Highly recommend.
This app is even better than I imagined. First, I love the encouragement the coaches give during the workout. I hate running and this app makes it easier to run indoors, outdoors, when I'm in the mood and when I'm not. Second, and probably more importantly, my apartment has a small gym in it that I use but the building itself gets awful service and no wifi so I could never listen to pandora or Spotify which completely disabled my inclination to workout whatsoever... this app lets you download the classes ahead of time! I have only tried running, so I'm definitely looking forward to trying some other workouts too. If you're a lazy sloth like me who wishes for motivation... this app is worth every penny.

I recently got Aaptiv in an attempt to climb out of a workout-less slump I'd been in, and it has been the greatest thing for me. The instructors are great and the wide variety of classes allow me to workout at in my small apartment if I only have a few minutes, or at the gym if I have longer. The treadmill and elliptical used to be dreadfully boring and I would zone out at a pace for he entire time, but with Aaptiv I actually get a GOOD workout in and am engaged he entire time. I love it!
I initially downloaded the Aaptiv app because I wanted to start a running program after my second child was born, but now I use it for spin classes at home on my bike, yoga in the mornings, quick arm workouts and all of the workouts I want to do on any given day! Great app, it pushes you and makes you work hard. Especially great for new moms who want to get a good workout in while the baby is sleeping without having to pack up and head to a gym. Highly recommend!
This is a dishonest company that charges you without your knowledge. Don’t bother with the free trial. It is hell to cancel before you’re charged. I thought I was signing up for a 30 day free trial with a code, but turns out that wasn’t the case. Very hard to correspond over their email system and sincerely no apology from the company.
I love this app for running and yoga. The trainer is with you for your whole workout and brings accountability to you if you don't have the option to workout with a partner and at least for me I run better with the app than my usual running partner (no offense to her). The trainers push you and there is so much variety with the classes. Speed work, long distance endurance running, easy afternoon flow yoga or power yoga - it's got it all.
This app is the BEST running app I've ever used. There is literally a program for almost every workout. Whether it be running ( indoor or outdoor ), elliptical, biking, hiking, etc.! It also has training programs for races. I'm currently doing the half marathon training with Rochelle and it's helped me so much! Try it!
