Fun and Exotic. Having lived in Thailand, I'm finding this game is bringing back many good memories. It is engaging and fun to solve a mystery in this beautiful country. There is lots of game play- I've been playing the game for several days and it remains fresh and fun. I recommend it!

Completely Addicting. The graphics and 3D style of the player pov makes the game fun and finding objects even funner. I got hooked and was challenged all the way thru. Had to use the hint button a few times cuz the next objective didn't seem obvious but it take away from the fun. After completing the game with the main character you have the opportunity to play a small portion with another character which helps answer some questions you may have had. Can't wait for another one.

Huntyre. Not refined in some areas making it frustrating when you overlook something due to technicality. (Ex: You use your flashlight to look around but if you don't shine it in the right spot for several seconds, you'll overlook an item or clue) Overall a great game and worth the money. Plays much better on iPad than iPhone

Engaging!. I am a big fan of these types of games. This one won me over! The graphics and design was fabulous. Most of the puzzles were great, interesting and challenging. A few were too easy and a few too hard. Puzzle for the lizard to eat the wiggle worms, and leaving footprints behind, was really ingenious and one of my favorites. Only con is often a con in this genre. Can point and click forever before finding a hidden inventory item. But that is why the great "help" button is built in. Looking forward to more like this.

almost awesome. The Thai-inspired art work in this game is so pretty that I can completely overlook the jerky animation and the occasional funny mistakes in English translation. But the type and graphics in the accompanying technical support was absolutely useless on an iPhone. There was no way to read most of it or to see many of the images. This was especially frustrating since you tend to need help on more complex puzzles, and these were the ones that looked like map of Manhattan squeezed into half a postage stamp. There were a few glitches with getting stuck in loops or missing pieces of the game but these were fixed by going back, there was nothing major like other players have reported. Glad I got it for the exotic locale and strong female lead character!!

great idea; poor execution. Great graphics and audio, plus some okay puzzles, but so painfully sluggish I can't bring myself to finish my $4.99 purchase. It takes nearly 5 seconds (or more) to transition between locations, objects, storyboards, etc. There are no logical or easily seen progressions between areas so you're forced to continuously use the hint button just to see where to go/click. Either that or random click/drag all over the screen. The dialog, especially between characters, is off-putting, especially where an answer/comment is given before a question/statement is made. To paraphrase: A/C: I know you can do it Q/S: I'm not sure I can figure this out Too irritating to play, IMO. Myst or Broken Sword it is NOT. This is just a sluggish, poorly executed FROG (Fragmented Object Game).

Best graphics in a long while. I knew it was going to end but wish I could get about two years of continual editions. I had to have hints and that's pretty rare.

One of the best games. This one had it all. Adventure, challenging puzzles and problem solving, without obnoxious Disney music. This had good plot twists as well. Looking forward to more from these developers

Great game. Fantastic graphics but still difficult to find many small objects. Used the hint button more than I care to admit. At one point (actually many), the game would crash or restart. But the support was really good. I ended up having to shut down the iPad and restart it. Once I did that, only one crash happened before I finished the game. I really enjoyed the 3D effects.

Best I've seen in a while. Best game I've played in a long time. I love the 3D feature they put in the game. Almost reminds me of the game play of "The Room".

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!. I came across this game by accident and let me tell you, it's one of the best adventure games I've played and I've pretty much played them all! The graphics are stunning. The storyline keeps you interested and I love the interaction between player and the game. I hope a sequel will be coming soon!!! All around WONDERFUL game..

Waste of Money! Game-breaking glitch!. I am really angry that I parted with money for a game I was enjoying but then was unable to progress in. All because I can't wash mud off something. I also have an iPhone 6 so it's not like I have an out-of-date phone either. So buyer beware. You most likely won't get your money back if you encounter this glitch.

Great Game. I haven't unlocked the entire game as yet, but from what I've seen and experienced in the teaser it seems to be a great game; awesome graphics and story line. Can't wait really get into it.

Excellent game. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed playing this game. Despite being a memory hog (1.5Gig), the 3D effects were fun, especially when trying to figure out what to do with the 3D puzzles. I got the collectors edition on sale and thought it was well worth the price. The hint system functioned well and although the map did not tell you where there was action needed, the hint would point you to the right location on the map and allow you to jump. Hilarious dialogue too. Look out Big Fish, you have competition!

Absolutely amazing. This is one of the best games I've ever played on the iPad. Great graphics, fascinating story, and immersive gameplay.

Off the Charts. Now this is what a hidden objects adventure game should be. Excellent story line. A perfect balance of dialogue. Options to play easy, medium or expert, with easy allowing for easy-to-see hints. Ability to skip the mini-arcade game, and of course, the graphics are wonderful. Story builds are done in video, and the over all games allows continued interactivity. Excellent and worth every penny even for the Collector's Addition. Will be checking out more from this developer.

Terrific game!. It didn't take me long to decide to buy the collector's edition of this wonderful game for my iPad Air! I haven't enjoyed an adventure game this much since I played Myst and Riven long ago--and I've tried a lot of them. The design of this is top-notch from the characters and interesting and unique plot, graphics--including 3-D object puzzles (all puzzles are fresh and challenging) music I enjoy listening to as I play, and let's not forget plenty of help when I need it! Oh, and no LAG whatever!! This team goes to the head of the class for creativity and professionalism. I will be watching for new adventures from Smack Down...

Tough game, great time waster. The other reviews are right to a point, the game is not as intuitive and I had to use the hint button, but it is an awesome game with amazing graphics (gives big fish a run for their money!) and a nice long game for the money. I play loads of these games as I am bedridden, so I have to say I really like this one! If you like puzzle games with hidden object scenes, this is your game!

Cloud comes home again. I've been enjoying again after bringing back from the cloud. Anything that takes my mind away and make it concentrate on other things always gets high marks from me. Better than those mindless games that are so popular.

Interesting and fun!. The art is beautiful, and the story was interesting to me. Some of the hidden objects are very hard to find, and some of the scenes it is hard to know what to do, but the hint system is very helpful. At novice level, the game may be too easy. I think adventurer level is fine for casual play. It is annoying that you can't do much for free, but hardly surprising taking into account the in app purchases. Free play is often a sample of play, so I don't count that too much against the game. I like that I can play the puzzles and hidden objects separately after finishing the game.

Large game with very little free play.. This game should not be called "Free." Of course, any game with over 1 gig of data will have above average graphics, but there is really no game play for free users. Other than a very short demo of the first level, this is just bad and deceptive. Skip this one and download something else that you can actually play for free for more than five minutes.

Great adventure game. Well worth paying for the extended version. Lots of meat to the game, if you only play casually like me you'll spend hours and hours with it.

Real Adventure Game. Love this game because it makes me work for the finds. Not much hand-holding. Needs your low-cunning and initiative! The locations are explorable....my only hint. I like it because it is hard and not obvious. Disagree with giving a low rating because a game is hard. And if a game shows in-app purchases, the free bit is to see if you like the play. The Collector at 4.99 is well worth it. Hope to see more from this developer!

Crap on a stick!. I'm not sure what game the other reviewers are playing, but google it and all you see is complaints and aggravation! Using objects that don't work, having to redo parts over again if you leave and come back. Slow, hard to see graphics.... Pass x 1,000,000,000!

Needs a Update. Game seems to crash too often, even after deleting it then reinstalling. Biggest complaint is the sound. The game needs a third sound bar. 1: For voice 2: sound affects 3: music. It's either too loud or too soft

Just a mess of a game. Intriguing title but meaningless in the game. Had the hook and line but no bait. Was there even a golden heart involved? Game is a suffering hot mess. Expect to continually use the hint button as many usable objects are not visible and there is no logic or flow to what scene you should visit next. Random tap every pixel and hope to get lucky or keep stabbing the hint button while yawning from lack of creative/mental stimulation. Graphics are good but character speech pauses are so awkward that it makes me certain they are constipated. At least that is laughable, as is the only likable character of the monk. I wish more care and effort was put into plot development and logic/flow rather than hanging their hat on graphics and calling it a day.

Very good. Set in Thailand. Fun - good graphics & I really learned things. Good storyline & some good characters. One - the old monk - made me laugh out loud! Others were truly scary & creepy. I would recommend using sound because, for me, that was a big part of what made their personalities. Having said that, the main characters seemed stiff & boring to me - a major flaw to me. Drawbacks - good HOPS, but when you click on an object, there is NO sound. It sounds trivial, but it drove me crazy. I threatened to quit playing several times over it, but I did compete the main game & am almost finished with the Bonus Chapter. The Strategy Guide wasn't very good. In fact, it was almost useless to me. The puzzle helps were videos! Weird! I couldn't take notes, even, if necessary. I think I used it once. There was a collectible problem for me - & it's probably just me - but for half the game, I didn't even know there were collectibles, much less what they were. I missed it somewhere. In case you do, you're looking for little Buddha statues & I only found them in HOPS. That doesn't mean they aren't other places. Have fun! The Thai graphics & information made it different & worth the drawbacks, in the long run, for me.

Great point and click!!!. One of the rare great point and click adventure games for the iPhone. I've played every one I can find, and this one has kept my bf and I busy playing (trying for high scores, etc) for a really long time. (he got it too after I told him it was good). We both got the collectors edition, which was sooo worth it! To my surprise it had whole new game play from another characters perspective after playing the initial game, which was a good length by itself.The plot is very interesting, there are many puzzles, some hidden objects (which I normally don't like, but with the added perk of finding a certain collectable, and the way they changed up the hidden object puzzles, I enjoyed them a lot). Such a nice surprise to have it be such a great game. Was worth the money and I hope they make more for iOS in the future.

Really Great Game!!!!. This developer has the potential to give Big Fish and G5 some stiff competition in the hidden object adventure game genre if this is what they give us on their maiden voyage! The graphics were fantastic and I really think the voice over actors were better than on any game I've ever played on my iPad, which for me goes a long way in believability! The storyline was fresh and the mini-puzzles and hidden objects scenes were unique. The only thing I hope they add in future games would be HOS's with the list of items added along with the ones they have here with shapes of items just to mix it up. It would be nice to have a built in strategy guide as well, but with their hint system, integrated map that can be used for quick travel, and skip buttons, it really wasn't missed. The main story was pretty long and there's a collector's edition that gives 3 extra chapters that were long as well. There's even extra items to search for throughout the game which I always love. The CE was a little pricey but I understand with them being a company just starting out. Hopefully as their business grows they can give us more competitive pricing as well. Honestly guys for your first time at bat you hit it out of the park and I really hope you keep games like this coming! Fantastic job! 😘👍👊🍻😘

No good. In the beginning of the game it was interesting enough but now that I have purchased the game I hate it. Complete waist of time frustrating the hint does not give you hint guide is almost impossible to understand. Why?

Excellent production values, gameplay so-so. The cinematics and the graphics are extremely impressive, albeit the characters have that slightly creepy robot-human look that is common with computer-generated features trying to model human expressions (think Polar Express). I wish that the characters had been more attractive as well, particularly Melissa and Julian who were supposed to be so gorgeous. The dialog is sometimes hokey and many of the scenes are deliberately evocative of Indiana Jones. The gameplay started out strong and I bought the Collectors Edition on the strength of it. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the reviewer who called the game a hot mess in this regard. You end up using the Hint system constantly because there is no logic in where you should go next and you can click on a spot and it gives zero feedback that you need to use a magnifying lens, flashlight, lizard or what-have-you. In the Hidden Object scenes, most items are easily found; a few are hidden in/behind other things but you can't tell where they are hidden and I think random clicking is penalized. Perhaps things are less frustrating in Easy mode. I don't remember what mode I was playing in, but probably not Easy. The minigames are varied, interesting, and fairly easy. The Hint system is easy to use and very effective. Because of that, and the strong story, I played it out. The game is very long and the CE adds more scenes. I thought it was over 60% of the way in, so I think you get pretty good value for your money if you are enjoying the game. Personally, I'd be iffy on another game by the company because I do like a better playing experience, one based on me deducing what to do.

The storyline is great, but leaks in the language. The Chinese version is a mess. The words are not readable. Hope you can improve it in the future.

Not Quite Worth Five Dollars!. This game was a little different in that you view your surroundings from a 3D perspective, including the manipulation and use of some inventory items. The graphics were sharp and clear; and the artwork portrayed an Asian theme as you visited ancient temples and jungles embellished with appropriate details, such as statues, hanging lanterns, and Asian symbols. You had a journal to record story progression and clues to solve puzzles. The journal also held your objectives, letters, and the collectibles status. The inventory was labeled and interactive. The map teleported you to general areas where you would walk to individual locations, but there were no tasks indicated. You had some items to help you at times, such as a flashlight to see dark areas. The hidden object scenes were a little varied and included finding items by their picture or by their silhouette shapes and FROGS (find fragments of objects to combine to complete a whole). The puzzles were varied, simple, and fun; many had levels of one type. The hint was directional based; then it would show you the exact area and what inventory item you could use. The characters were very caricature-like in appearance; their gestures were comical, exaggerated and peculiar. I gave the game three stars because I found that finding inventory items was tedious while trying to move the screen in all directions. I also could not find many of the collectible statues even though I was specially searching for them. I found the transitional mechanics to be clunky, and the map could have had some sort of task indicator. Acquiring of inventory items was finicky to touch, and the 3D aspect was cumbersome and slow when manipulating objects. Then I ran into some glitches. I got knocked out of the game a few times which resulted in some loss of progress. Also, in one puzzle when you create a potion, certain objects would not move after multiple tries. I rebooted my device; and when I returned to the puzzle, the recipe disappeared so I completed it by trial and error. This just wasn't my favorite but still a good way to pass time. Not worth five bucks though.

Very unique and different then others. This game is very unique and unlike other hidden object games. I like how the characters are kinda funny and corky too. One suggestion I would like to see in future games is to make the collectors edition included in the $6.99 price. I just think $9.99 is way to much!! Also, the map could have more clues to help out. Like which places still have an object to be completed. Overall, it's a great game and I can't wait to play the sequel or other games similar to this one. Keep creating puzzles that we haven't seen before. Great job Smack Down 😊 I'm rating it 4 stars instead of 5 only b/c of the $9.99 price.

pretty good. good enough game, but not a very intriguing plot. a bit expensive for what you end up getting out of the game. the puzzles are so so, the HOS are boring.
