Great networking until new phone. So this app has been great on my old 6s Plus. Lots of great connections that led to many jobs for my freelance business and opportunities. That is until I upgraded and got a new phone. Now there’s no option to log in, just to create a new account? Seriously?? How is there no option at ALL to log in?! And of course, because there’s no other option, when I try to enter my info it says there’s already an acct from this email... sigh... Please fix. I have many I was in the middle of conversations with. Not the best impression to look flaky because you’re locked out of your account, ya know? I’ll adjust my review when it’s solved.

Grate App but Has Some Bugs. I've been using this app for the last 10 months, and for the most part, it's great. I live in NYC and have had numerous connections and met with a number of people in the span of a few months. The downside is that the app stopped sending me all notifications, even when I have them set on. Hoping this is fixed soon! Otherwise it would be 5 stars. (Edit: I re-downloaded the app and it seems to be working)

Lots of potential. Based on the few people I am capable of matching with, I see a lot of potential to grow my network. But: It seems the app does not filter a lot of word-salad, non-sense, junk job titles; This one flaw really lowers the quality of the experience. It would be cool if the app matched the people with silly and over complicated job titles with one another, while allowing the people who use traditional job titles to truly network. I am sick of being asked to match with "Global International Chief Executives" and "Self-Starting Entrepreneur & Founder at OmniMegaStartup." These are not even the worse. "Product Management Manager"? "CRM, EXCR, RETCOM Specialist"? It is getting really stupid. There are a lot of mentally ill people on here and I wish they stayed in their own corral, so to speak. I am not going to enter into such pointless insanity, much less network with it.

Amazing app for networking!. As an introvert, it’s very hard for me to go out and actively talk to people and because of this I’ve started reaching out to more people via social media and things of the like. Shapr has alllowed me to explore a platform which enables me to meet new people who have similar goals and interests, and actually act upon our connection through voice calls, video calls, coffee meetups, etc. Everything is really simple, too. You fill out basic information about yourself and from there you can add goals and tags relating to your interests. From there, Shapr sends you a batch of people based on your goals and interests. You swipe right if you’d like to meet with a person, and left if you’d prefer not to. Think Tinder and LinkedIn in one app.

Buggs on their in app purchases. This is a great networking app and I have been using the standard package for couple months now with no complain. Today, I decided to upgrade to one month premium for $9.99 to give it a try and it shows that I’ve purchased it .. however since I’ve already went through my daily batch of contacts which is 20 . It didn’t update the batch to 50 so I should have another 30 contacts that I could scroll through but it’s not doing that💥 already a turn off .. I probably won’t ever buy again

A tease. TLDR: the “matching” algorithm doesn’t “match”, then they ask for your money to make it “match.” The concept is great but it seems like nothing else but a money-making scheme for the developers. You get 15 random “matches” a day - and they do seem very random; more than half of them have nothing to do with my industry and the rest are other people in my industry who are looking for jobs just like me. Then the push notifications- “someone wants to hire you, give us $20 to find out who it is” is the gist of it. To actually *search* for people who may be valuable to network with, you also have to pay for that. I will give it some more time to see if the algorithm improves, but the manner in which they manipulate users has put me off of ever paying.

Great app. I’ve had good luck with using Shapr in Chicago for the past few months, and have made some good connections with people I met. I worried it would be awkward or creepy, but everyone on there is interested in meeting others. The app itself is fairly intuitive and reliable. The only feature I wish it had was the ability to manually set my location. I’m a commuter and would rather meet people near my work, even if I open the app when I’m on the train or at home.

Promising. Got the app and it has a rather nice aesthetic. Easy to use and pretty straight forward with its purpose. My concern is the refresh on the connections. It went from 2h to 24hs without giving me more connections. With such a limited amount to access in the first place this really seems to hinder the goal of connecting with people. While I understand the purpose of limiting swipes, with such a long refresh time it actually hurts the overall vision of the app. Definitely a work in progress and overall an amazing but it still needs work. A 6h refresh would be idea because it would allow someone to check twice daily for people to connect with, without devaluing each person. Another thing that would be cool would be a small section for a more in depth view of whom you're connecting with. I think that because we as people have so much value as is, that limiting us to a small bio prevents insight as to whom we really are. Would love to hear from the developers 🙌🏽 keep it up!! ** get the app **

Great way to network. Its a great app to meet and network with people from Different industries and learn About their journey. I feel like there’s not many people in the app. I hope the company does more marketing so that there’s more people here and get chance to meet diverse people. Also introducing location control will be better, sometimes people from far away states or another country shows up, no way to meet in person

Nice app, great idea. **Updated Review** I'm getting tired of all the people who don't know the difference between selling an networking. So far most people on here seem to confuse my willingness to connect with an invitation to try to Del me whatever they are selling!** Unfortunately the quality of recommended connections isn't great. It frequently suggests connections with whom I have little in common other than we share the same planet. I'll stick with it a while more and hope that as the app population grows, it becomes more useful.

Beware Of Pyramid Schemes... “Mentor”. I think I have met some really cool people and some really inspiring travelers and photographers. What I really hate about this app is how many “friendly” people are on this app in hopes you get you to join their pyramid scheme (or similar) paid membership to join some crap scheme. People need to be very very aware of this. My mentor has blah blah blah... “made six figures Wall Street and got this side hustle where they were able to walk away!” Many many people will attempt to sell you on this. Just report them. World adventures, Building an E-commerce sure that scales by building an online community, or Amway, etc etc. These are businesses in hopes to get you to sell for them for free. You make little to nothing. More so in the US, but I’m guessing Europe has similar programs. “Get your family and friends to sign up for this awesome travel program”... it’s all crap. Hopefully people don’t fall for this.

Connections get deleted after a month. Love the app for connecting me with people. If you don’t take your conversation offline quickly, the app will delete connections more than a month old. I have lost so many connections, and some told me to call them in two months as they were out of the country. Also no ability to search through your connections for a person. You have to scroll through all of your connections to find someone. I have the Pro version.

totally inaccessible to blind users. No effort seems to have been made to make this app accessible using voiceOver which is what blind people use for access on an iPHone. There are apparently simple tools Apple provides to developers for accessibility support. At least it's developers who do support VoiceOver who tell me how easy it is. I was able to struggle through creating a profile but cannot do the swiping or other connection-making tasks for which this app exists. Creating and editing the profile was also a piece of work. I tried contacting the developer before posting this but could not find a way to do that. The web site seems to support only the problems they have already addressed. Good work putting up a barrier for the people who most need tools like this.

Free version lost its mojo. If you’re interested in this concept be ready to pay for the premium version because the free version is lacking at best. On the free version you occasionally find someone mildly interesting but most of the potential connections are looking to sell you something. I’m presuming Shapr runs an algorithm that weeds out the people you actually want to meet to get you to pay for the app so you can meet the people you do. This wasn’t always the case. In fact, I was an early user and met many great people. Now I’m lucky if I find a match worth following up with once every few weeks. I blindly hope they improve the algorithm for the free version but they probably won’t and I’ll likely stop using it.

App is sorta buggy and parallels Tinder. No matter how many times I save my information, including bio (which I know works because it allows me to go through the swiping process and have gotten results so I know the profile is live), it makes me go through and save it all again every time I open the app. I think it walks a fine line between professional and dating/social focused app, and through the interface and types of selling points, often veers further into the dating/social side. This may work for some, but I think it could do better for professional networking.

Don’t Install App. Data mining App WITHOUT consent. Shapr is far from a networking app. Often people whom you’ve matched with do not even know that you’ve matched. As a seasoned pro in the arts for over 45 years and counting. This app doesn’t even ‘nudge’, or notify the person that you are a business match. I’ve had people whom are far from the industry on this app that didn’t know we’ve connected. From a food services worker to ‘retired’ person which doesn’t fit the bill. When you attempt to remove a specific person by ‘unmatched’ category, it remains on your ‘say hello’ contact. When you actually paid for the app as well, the area needing tremendous work is ‘they swiped you right’. When 19 appeared on ‘they swiped you right’ and I’ve dismissed ALL of them. ALL of the same exact 19 people that have ‘swiped you right’ are still there. ****get rid of this app permanently**** Way too many bugs and glitches when you sync your LinkedIn profile with the app. This is just a glorified amped up Craigslist app that has no relevance in the algorithm it’s created. Nor any business association with LinkedIn. It’s obviously has nothing to begin with. So why does it use LinkedIn if it’s such a wonderful networking app...? It doesn’t and it won’t on my end. WOT. Major security breach.

Don’t waste your time.. they want you to pay that much for subscription? Just shows they have to up the price due to not that many downloads. why not make it 8$ optional on a month to month basis, instead of 100$ for 12 months. Also the same people pop up once you’ve declined them. The people you do want to work with, may have already deleted the app, 24 hours just to wait for new swipes? and lastly but many not listed, why give suggestions of someone in another state in the free version? i don’t live there. YALL ARE CRAZY! How about making it a quality app first and let it spread by word of mouth instead of trying to make quick money .

Amazing app. I’ve already met several professionals and am working with some. This is an amazing app. To the Shapr engineers, please fix the notification glitch; it shows I still have a new message even after I check and clear it off. I have to open the app again and click the message several times just for it to disappear. Thank you creators of the app.

The Best of the Best. Genius! It’s amazing App, someone that creates thinking about real people, real interest, real propose, and more,,, they give us some days to connect with the person based on our interests. Some people do not agree about the time to swipes each time they have but believe me, this is the best way to know people so, we have a break and a chance to know each other much better or if not we had another chance and keep going till find someone that matches,, Unfortunately some people don’t describe what they are looking for, waste my time on swipes!!!!!! Meet or not meeting it’s up to your needs and work developments, KEEP IN MIND THAT IT’S NOT A DATING APP !!!! Fabulous, thank you so much for give to us this brilliant idea!

How do you say...... I’ve only been on the app for a couple days now. It makes it easy to connect with people all around the world and locally as well. The kicker is being able to easily find people in your field, to build work opportunities and hopefully creates some relationships that will span further then attempting to find awesome people such as this organically. I am how do you say.... super hyped to continue building.

I like the concept, but noticed a few bugs. Bugs #1 When I’m adding my interests, some of them float to the right and are not visible, making me unable to see or remove them. #2 Whenever I click on anything that brings up the pop up for buying the pro version, there is no way to close the pop up, forcing me to close the app. I’m disappointed that you cannot add your location with the free version. The app is basically non-functional if you cannot find people near you. 14/15 of my swipes today were people out of state, it’s not practical to drive that far or ask someone else to drive that far, and meeting in person is important to me as opposed to video chat. It would be awesome if you added some geolocation features to the free version, I understand that you need to incentivize the pro version, but maybe you could shoot for something like 3 people in my area per 15 swipes with the free version, and 10-15 for the paid version. Other than that, I love the concept and it will be a great tool for meeting others with similar interests, networking, and career building. -Christian

Fantastic Idea - needs improvement. I love this concept and feel it was a long overdue application. I have met many great business professionals already and feel I am making serious and long lasting connections. The 3 star rating is due to the responsiveness (or lack there of) and efficiency. It takes too long to load the app (on iPhone 7 currently with iOS 11) and just feels very sluggish overall. It’s bad enough that it affects how often I use the app. I hope with some optimization this can be cleared up.

I can’t thank the developers of this app enough.... About 6 months ago I matched and met up with a local tech entrepreneur because of this app. We immediately started working together on one of his previously sidelined ventures until about two months ago when Hurricane Harvey hit Texas. We shifted all focus onto his nonprofit, The Cajun Relief Foundation, and stood up the Texas Navy Facebook page to facilitate and organize citizen-led rescues in Texas. Since then my life has dramatically changed for the better and I would love the opportunity to speak to one of the developers to be able to tell my entire story because I could write a novel just about my last two months. Thank you again and I hope to hear from you soon!

Potential. Not quite there yet.. I enjoy the opportunity to connect with people and have already met a few people and even connected with one, however, there are a number of areas where this concept falls short. My biggest gripe is the overwhelming lack of people I actually want to connect with, and then the inherent limit of only 20 per day. So I view my connections, half of them are typically individuals I have no desire or need to connect with, and then it’s over for 24 hours. I do nothing else. Frustrating. My second gripe though is that people simply aren’t using the app often enough, primarily because (I’m going out on a limb here) there is no need to open it more than once a day, if that. Overall it’s a decent app with a lot of room for growth but there simply isn’t enough to do to hold my interest or keep me using it. I churn through my 20 in less than 5 minutes. I send off a few messages to people, respond to a couple others, and I move on. Frankly, I can find my own connections directly through LinkedIn searches and not be limited by some random limits.

Has its pros and cons. This app is pretty good overall. I love that you can connect with other professionals, which makes it feel less fickle than say Tinder. It acts much like Tinder in that you can swipe left or right with people you’d like to connect with. The issue I’ve found is that I seem to connect with people that start to engage with me as if they want to get to know me, but then they quickly turn it into a sales pitch as if they’re trying to sell me their products. Didn’t know this app was for that. I end up unmatching them right away. This app needs more options in narrowing down what you’re looking for with other likeminded people to avoid that issue from always happening.

Great Idea but tech support and chat feature is lacking.. I have enjoyed this app but have hit continued bugs as I have used this app on my iPhone, especially in the chat section not receiving responses until days after or not at all. In trying to reach someone regarding this, the website leads to only FAQ pages or Twitter links where my tweets have been unanswered. I was considering the premium option for this app but thought against it after my unanswered frustration with these aspects of this app. Hence, my finally writing this review.

Almost perfect. I love the idea of this app and as an online student who doesn't get all the same opportunities to meet people in my desire industry it's such a great tool. The only thing I don't like is how long I have to wait until I can get my new set of matches. The first time I used it and it was only about a 2 or 3 hour wait I figured that was fine I can check before work, during my break and then again when I get home. But every time I went through my matches it increase the time now I have to wait a whole 24 hours before I can see my next set of matches and if you don't match with anyone then it's disappointing. An unlimited amount of matches would be ideal.

Excellent tool!. Shapr has become an indispensable networking tool for me! The familiar swipe left/swipe right interface is simple to use, and in just over a month of using Shapr, I've made several legitimate new contacts that have led to new business opportunities plus a couple of friendships. Definitely recommend to anyone seeking to enhance their networking activities in a simple, straightforward manner.

Please fix. I am a daily swiper on this app. I love this platform. I have met some amazing people on here. My problem is that I log in and no people to come up to swipe even with a perfect connection. I think it's a bug, if so please give us the next update asap. Keep up the great work. I give glowing reviews about Shapr to everyone. It's a big part of my life being on here and I would hate to leave after 4 years of making connections.

Features hidden behind paywall. So, it’s an interesting concept, except 90% of what you want to do with the app is hidden behind paying for a subscription. They’ll tell you that you can message your matches, but unless that person actually subscribed, they’re not going to be able to respond to your swipe. You’re better off using other networking methods unless you have the ability to pay for it. You can set up your account and interests, but if anyone swipes right on you, you are unable to respond unless you subscribe. Most of the users aren’t going to pay the $20/month just to maybe get a match that meets their standards. At least you can view their linked accounts, so if you do use the free version, make sure to link your third party accounts.

Great if looking for coffee shop company. Everyone wants to meet up for no reason. You being the goal oriented individual that you are download shapr with a specific purpose in mind. You want to create X and you’re looking to build a team. Unfortunately everyone else using Shapr isn’t as goal oriented or strategic as you are and they match with you, have no interest or ability to contribute to X, but still try to set up a time to meet in real life and get coffee. Why? Is everyone on this app out of work? Why does everyone suggest meeting for coffee right off the back. Caliber of people using this app leaves much to be desired.

Nothing yet. So far it seems most individuals are wanting to sell me on a new job or trying to help kick start a work from home job. Makes it seem like most are here just to recruit people and not make a real connection. I’ve been on it 2 months and it’s the same message of “I am here to help others kick start a new opportunity working etc.” Would be interesting to know how we match since most I’ve matched with don’t have the selections I’ve put and the location too. Seems more of the profiles may be fake. I was excited to try since I just relocated and an article made it seem they connected with authentic individuals who want a meaningful connection and to gain new knowledge. Still will try but not going to pay for the upgrade again sadly.

In my opinion. don’t like that the appi like the concept of the app but I hate the limit to the number of people you can swipe. And I wish you could just message people directly without having to match. only allows you to see a few people every day. If you are trying to build a large business fast then you need more people in front of your opportunity everyday!

Needs Distance Limit Feature. I guess the reason it does this is because the number of users in my area is not very large yet even though I live in one of the largest cities in the country. It gives me a couple of users close to me, and then users from Arizona, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, etc. The notifications are pretty unreliable—when you match with someone, it’s almost impossible to make the badge app notification go away no matter him many times you open the app & look at your inbox.

Good app but a lot of fake profiles. I like the idea of the app and have had several conversations with great people, but the matches the app comes up with on its own are awful. I’m not sure what their algorithm is but I find better matches when using the search feature. And, there are a lot of fake profiles that say “I love you and miss you” as the memo line or have a ... as if the info was brought in from LinkedIn. If they could rid the app of these profiles so I don’t have to waste time on swiping left, I’d give this 5 stars.

Experience probably based on area.. I have been using Shapr for two months now and it has been a strange experience to say the least. Most of the profiles that I see in a day are incomprehensible. Sometimes I’m pretty sure I’m viewing fake profiles (when I see the same profile back to back with the same interests and same weirdly worded bio but with different names and different pics). I also get the impression that some profiles are fake because there are no links and a bio cuts off mid-word as though the folks at Shapr have been pulling data from LinkedIn. I am in Memphis, TN and most days there isn’t any Memphis resident whose profile I can check out. Usually I’m seeing Georgia or Chicago or somewhere in Canada. If the primary purpose was to actually meet people beyond the internet, that’s not helpful to me. I need to see my community first and then increasingly further out. I also don’t understand the logic of matching either. Maybe some days there just aren’t enough profiles to match my key words against, but there are many days where most of the profiles I’m given have no matching interests at all. I’ve matched with several folks in the past month. Most aren’t anywhere close to me. So it makes it very hard to get myself to use the app on a daily basis when it’s clear that my likelihood of interacting with someone in person is in the single digits.

We need more. This app has wonderful potential, however, the in-app purchase is too forced. Having connections with professionals in the field is a wonderful thing and we shouldn’t have to pay $20/month (Which is absolutely absurd) just to send one message to a professional who swipes right on you. Also, you only get 12 swipes per 24 hours or so and you even count the X’ed swipes which is also bad. In a world where individuals are only trying to better themselves, you are forcing us to pay for this app when it’s inconveniencing us badly. Your UX/UI for Mobile is frustrating because it gives us no valuable inspiration aside from a quote that is way too large and then another forced ad to buy your PRO version. I want this app to succeed, but you need to fix a lot of things in order for that to happen.

Only works in established cities. In Austin, there were three types of users on the app: 1) Dudes who thought they were on tinder (uh, your profile *said* you were looking to hire? Why did you change the subject from work after one sentence to what my weekend plans were, then send me your phone number and expect me to call you? Gross) 2) People scheming to recruit you into their pyramid scheme (tell-tale warning sign: any mention of “mentors,” “financial independence,” and retiring in their early 30’s 3) People who NEVER RESPOND to messages I’m in Austin. You’d think there’s be a decent user-base here. You only have a certain number of “swipes” a day with a free account, and sometimes, more than half of them would be folks who were in Houston, DFW, or even Mexico. I like the idea of the app, but the small handful of matches I got were all trying to take advantage of me. No thanks, I’ll stick with LinkedIn.

I would suggest an improvement.... I think the app is a great way to move forward for many people who are looking for likeminded individuals. I would say that many of the terms however, (these ones: #AppDevelopment) are superfluous and it would be nice if the developers considered creating something like MeSH terms used in pubmed, that would capture/match a broader audience that is interested in the same topic but calls it a different name. I saw comments that 18 hits are not enough. I must be honest in that this was my first impression. However, let's not ignore the fact of life: information overload. I am sure that one is less likely to contact anyone with 10 hits/day. Now make that 1 hit/day, and the chances of contacting someone are greater. If the above suggestion is implemented however, the amount of hits and relevance could greatly improve, even with 18 swipes. Comments about need for longer biographies?! I personally skip the long ones, because if you could not (at least in written form) fit the most important aspects in a few lines, you lost my interest. Keep maintaining the good work!

Full of fake profiles and Bitcoin people.. Shapr USED to be great. They are awful now. Don’t even bother. They do nothing to weed out fake profiles trying to take advantage of everyone and literally thousands of Bitcoin forex “people”trying to contact you with their fake profiles. Their company names aren’t capitalized, fake photos, their links to their social media or LinkedIn go nowhere. Shapr has done nothing to stop this. Sure you can “report” them but it goes nowhere since there are thousands of others to take their place. I don’t know trust anyone writing to me on this site and you shouldn’t either. If I don’t give at least two stars btw, they won’t let me post this review. 😂

I’m beating my head against a wall that I didn’t think of this. The minute I read about this app, I had to have it. It’s BRILLIANT! You tell people that you’re open to new connections and people open to new connections are connected to you. It’s genius is in it’s simplicity. I would like to see the ability to say more about yourself and to pick 15 keywords instead of 10. I was surprised how easy it was to use up those 10 and still not have an accurate description of myself, where I’m at, and what I’m looking for. It integrates with LinkedIn nicely and if they have any sense, they will buy the app.

Nice idea only. So the matches were good but people never seemed serious about meeting or speaking on the phone. I can’t tell if it’s because they’re only on there looking for freelance jobs or what. I have three friends who used the app too and had the same issue. So... awesome concept and I don’t know what the app could do to help with that.... probably nothing. Why do some people have options selected for “what I’m looking for” and I can only choose three? Another thing is that I’m only looking for people to creatively collaborate with and can’t hire them but it’s lumped together as something like “collaborators and talent to hire”. I wish they were separate. Also, I’m well over an hour and a half from LA and got 99% of my matches there and when I’d ask to speak on the phone the first time they didn’t write me back again. I also got matched with SF and Redding and Arizona and Vegas... way way too far away.

More then I dreamed of!!. This app is full of people looking for all sorts of networking connections. And the great part is you never know if you are going to find a mentor, a peer or a potential investor that will hire you and work with you! So many great connections for the digital networking world! It’s a great approach to networking on demand. My ONLY desire is that i wish there was a web page so i could type on a keyboard my responses instead of my phone. I don’t want to quickly transfer the convo out of the app and I’m sure y’all don’t want that either bc churn is bad. Other than that, i just have a slight pet peeve that pop ups about a “new message” from a different person pops up while I’m replying to another and it’s just bothersome and unnecessary. If i am already in the app I’m going to check for any new messages before i leave it, plus the badge icon with numbers of unopened messages can tell you if you have new messages. Other than that keep it up! This is way more personable than LinkedIn as a relationship builder and I love that! The timer for limiting connections a day is GREAT and truly does what it’s intended to do! Hopefully i have other great updates from my connections soon!

LinkedIn for 2019. It’s described to be like Tinder for Professionals. In essence, it’s a LinkedIn updated for 2019, encouraging connection and networking between peers in different industries with similar interests. I’m enjoying it so far, and recommend that you try it out. I’ve already started talking to several different people, and feel energized to network more actively, given that my primary experience doing so has been through conference events. Which I love, I do enjoy meeting new people, but I also have to recharge from for weeks after (introvert probs). This gives you 10-ish matches to look from per day, and you can connect or not. But it doesn’t overwhelm with choices, and sets you up to be able to grow your circle without the introvert exhaustion from peopling in quantity and sorting everything out yourself. Love it.

Entry level functionality is too restrictive. Unless your willing to shell out a monthly fee this app isn’t worth it. The only thing you can do for free is swipe on people they suggest for you and the algorithm they are using hasn’t been very helpful thus far in creating good matches at least for me. The devs need to at least unlock the search feature for free users. Currently the free version is so locked down I as the end user can’t even get a feel for what it would be like to be subscribing member. This should be more like linked in where you have lots of basic features and then they also give you glimpses of what the benefits of having a subscription could be. Not very impressed with this app because basically everything is behind the subscription wall.

Independent associate with ASEA, a bio-tech company. SHAPR is an excellent resource for networking, especially for serious-minded entrepreneurs who are open minded to other business opportunities outside of what they are currenting doing. SHAPR presents me 15 or more new contacts EVERY 24 hours, free of charge...and for a nominal fee, I can increase that number by dozens every 24 hours. I so appreciate with SHAPR the opportunity to post a picture, list up to 10 profile descriptions, write a paragraph up to 250 words about my pursuits and/or interests, list preferred ways to connect with a match, and even be able to include computer links (including my own business website). WOW, and double WOW!! I have so much admiration and praise for this incredible opportunity and will be forever grateful to the person who introduced SHAPR to me. Thank you SHAPR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good idea but search needs improvement. I've been trying this app for two weeks now, reviewing my suggested contacts every day. The idea is good, but I rarely get someone who I want to match, simply because I am looking for other female entrepreneurs and for people I could actually meet. Most proposed connections are men and the few female contacts are usually too far away. It would be much better if I could set up certain options for my search. The way it is now it's a waste of time for me.

Love the app do not love the glitches.. I’ve been using the free and paid version off and on since 2016 and I’ve met all of my clients on it along with some super key people in my network. It’s an incredible app for networking. I’m excited for them to release a US version of the job finder they have in France. The only reason I didn’t give a five star review was because the app is super glitchy, ie; you swipe yes and come back into the app and it’s gives you those same profiles to swipe again. Or if I do a search, it often tends to glitch to an error page “Oops, something went wrong... our development team has been notified” Aside from the annoying glitches this is one of my favorite apps and I highly recommend it to anyone in business.

A Must for Entrepreneurs. Shapr is essential for entrepeneurs in the mobile age. Especially if you travel. I've met all sorts of interesting people from all walks of life I'd never meet otherwise. Some have become clients. Some have become friends. And some you'll never hear from again. It's an easy way to publicize your company or services direct to potential clients and collaborators and to expand your network every day. I use Shapr at home and while traveling and can't recommend this enough. I've seen the reach and the reliability increase tremendously over the past two years and I'm excited to see where it goes as they continue to develop.

Fun, better than LinkedIn for targeted, rapid-fire networking. I’ve made a few connections that look like they will be definitely turn out to be interesting and informative if not altogether productive. (We’re still booking the appointments - haven’t actually sat down over coffee with any of these folks yet. Agree with other reviewers who groused about the inability to “swipe” back. Once or twice I accidentally swiped the wrong way (you get muscle memory from all the ones you reject), once or twice I had a second thought after rejecting. Also it would be nice to see the profiles i approved and at awaiting approval from the other side. There were one or two of those who (I think) would be really compelling connections, might like to try to find them on twitter or linked in. Would also be cool to be able to message people who didn’t swipe you back.

App Review. Asks me too many times to rate it

Good idea, average app and small user base. The concept is great and well thought out however it fails on implementation. The app does work but it’s frustrating to use as it’s slow/unresponsive. Often you don’t know whether it’s thinking or just not registered your action. A lot of the time you have to wait for it to catch up. As a software developer myself, it seems to me that there is a lot that could be improved just by tightening up the code and server response time. On the user side the first swiping sessions have good contacts that match your settings. However the quality dips significantly after that because they just don’t have the user base. At this stage, they just start dealing you random people regardless of whether they are in your city or match your preferences. Also I am finding that only about 10% of matches respond. Now if this was Tinder you could blame it on me the user but a businessmen who is looking to network should give a much higher rate of response. This tells me that the retention is not great. Either these users are not aiming back to the app or worse they have already uninstalled the app. Either way a true Australian marketing/retention campaign needs to be sorted.

Good concept but expensive. The app seems to work well but to do anything useful you need to pay a premium and I haven’t seen anything that suggests it’s worth the fee.

Impossible to use. Great concept, but unfortunately the app is very problematic. Makes you wait for 10 hours before suggestions are updated. Only counts down when app is open on phone, pauses timer if you navigate away from the app. Also, can only use on phone, no way to install on laptop/desktop. Would love to use once app is improved.

Great app. Needs a little refinement but a good start

Great idea - buggy app. Love the idea of this app, but keeps crashing and coming up with an error code when I try to log in. I hope to hear about this as the next Tinder in a few months when all the bugs are fixed.

Underwhelmed. App just keeps telling me "x amount of hours until your next suggestion." Even when the countdown reaches 0, it just resets at about 9 hours. Great concept but very poor execution. Completely useless.

Laggy. Very laggy app- always loading and gives a profile could not load error sometimes when internet is connected. Have to close and open a few times to get new profiles

Feedback. Majority of your users are non responsive and take days due to your messaging system.

Odd App. App for “so called” professional , however 99% of the pros who are on this app if they match you, the chance you communicate with them any more than” thank you for connecting, what bring you here?” Is basically equal zero, that app has no notifications, communication over the app is not handy as for most of us it is probably far from our awareness... therefore most of the connection not going anywhere. The rest of the “pro” are way to driven to get to sell you their bitcoin or any other MLM that it is absolutely waste of time- not worth it. Period.

Scams!. The app isn’t bad and doesn’t warrant the 1 star review, but there are a lot of scammers on there! Fee first loans: send me $500 and I’ll approve you for 30k, at 3%! The rate was the tip off. And you google loan scams and sure enough, it comes up (ppi- interest). I understand they really can’t police that, but I thought the MLMs were bad enough.p

Misleading. Doesn’t let you make a match till you pay $26 per month. Doesn’t mention that before. Quite misleading.

If you like wasting your time.... Don’t bother, I’ve scheduled appointments to call people and they either don’t call/answer or don’t recall what you just texted them. Couldn’t be bothered

More like a dating app. I get hit on more often that not the guys on here seam to treat it like there own little dating pool and for hook up I have blocked so many guys it’s a good networking app just not a fan of getting hit on or asked to hook up

Rencontre inattendu. C’est toujours surprenant de se laisser la change de faire des rencontres !

Handy App. I like it because I can find locals who are into the same hobbies or work that I am into. People seem picky but that is good becaise it makes for a better match.

Lots of great people. There are plenty of wonderful people on here to chat with, and this platform is a great place to go in these limited times!

App for Crypto scammers. You don’t match with anyone except with crypto currency scammers with fake profiles

Not the best. It would be great if the app was updated on a regular basis (it’s been over a year) like most other apps. It often doesn’t work properly which then involves having to delete the app or sign in/out; a lot of people I speak to don’t really like the app as it’s not user friendly. There should also be a way to screen users- I’m getting a lot of inappropriate messages from older men (based on profile pic) and Forex/Bitcoin spam.

Too expensive. Not enough content available in freemium option. At least let us know who swiped so we can decide if it’s worth the steep price/month

Completely useless if you’re looking for work.. Anyone who knows anything about algorithms knows that this app is useless. If I’m using it to find work, one of my tags is “find a job”, so why would it match me with people who also have “find a job” instead of “hire employees”? I don’t want to meet other jobless people, I want to meet someone who has the potential to connect with me for both their gain and mine.

MLM and Cypto. Great app to be flooded by crypto and MLM individuals. Mediocre networking app at best. No filters to better cater to your searches, face profiles most of the time. Hard to make real connections on here.

Perfect Idea, Unprofessional Developments. The idea is nice and new, I see tones of potential on this idea, however, the ways that developers like to make money out of this app is very unprofessional and old school. As someone that has hands on this market I suggest don't go for prime charging in the beginning. You want to keep your big people that join to your app and gove them more opportunities. Try to add more options than a simple chat, like people can make electronic business card and share them too, or they can give specific time for their free hours, or they can make a group to join people they want to meet and meet them together, or people with common interests find each other and meet as a group not one o one. Also, try to make money based on selling information and analysis to other companies which these days is more powerful. If you can sell info to corporations, you make more money than selling premiums to individuals (while personally the reasons you put for selling premium are not that interesting for me to pay for it!!) Anyway, in my opinion the idea is perfect, but the app need to be more developed.

Costs Money. It won’t let me swipe right to connect with someone unless i pay for the membership. kinda useless to someone looking for a job that doesn’t have that money

First impression.. Just downloaded the app thinking the premium feature was optional like most others. Sadly, after only my first search it keeps asking me to sign up for a paid membership. It does not allow me to use the app otherwise.

The Fee is ridiculous for using the app. It’s interesting how you can connect with other professionals, yet dislike very much the fact that you need to pay not a reasonable amount for just seeing more people around you in your area.

Will shapr be like clubhouse. Make shapr like clubhouse that would be amazing!!!

Need a fix before it dies. This is a great concept and it was going very good until it ended up hijacked by crypto scammer who offers you returns that can make you a Billionaire! At least if you believe their numbers :) So it’s either a hard fix or death! I suggest forcing the link to LinkedIn account will force people to be legit to some level as we always can check a public profile of the other person.

Not bad. However lots of people are showing up as being located in the US when in fact they are in Toronto

I can’t delete the app. I have been trying to delete the app for a week and it is not letting me. I don’t want to use it anymore. It is annoying as I have been also trying to change my profile image and it wouldn’t let me. Honestly not impressed by it.

Keeps crashing on iphone 11 pro max. Keeps crashing on iphone 11 pro max

Useless. Every time I open the app it makes me go through all the questions like the first day I signed in. I do not understand how you can release such a poorly tested app.

Good for intros not so great for follow up. This is a pretty good platformThis is a pretty good platform to meet pretty good platform to meet people on

Too many bitcoins marketers and multilevel marketers. Fake profiles with people who just want to sell bitcoin or rope you into some multi level marketing scam .

Very buggy. The interface will often stop responding and I’ll have to restart the app. Sad

Location not accurate. It’s a good app to meet people but the free version rarely pops up with people In my area. Most people that show up are in the states or Vancouver when I’m in central Alberta. I had this app a while back and it was better for the first few months then started doing the same thing, no people anywhere close to me.

Network Marketer. I like Shapr because it helps ne connect with people from everywhere in America abd Europe. My goal is to open my market in Europe abd it helps me do that

Good idea which doesn’t work. At first I thought it is a great app to build connections. Been using it for over a year and haven’t built a single solid connection. People tap each other but it hardly go anywhere further. A lot of irrelevant people in your proposed list. Mostly used by solicitors and real estate agents.

Not so great. It doesn’t match me with people close by- - keeps asking me to oY...

Room of improvement. Hi, This app idea is great, but even with payment version have many bugs like: 1- classify your contacts. 2- separate views from un viewed. 3- going to bottom of the list of conversation is a pain. ... Thanks,

Issues. Good idea but the app itself is pretty bad, not ready.

Best app I’ve used but... Simply best app I’ve ever used & has helped me so much in my personal growth. Just don’t know why you guys don’t fix the silly bug that when you unmatch someone they still keep showing up in your mailbox.

Paid premium, didn’t activate, got invoiced. Scam. Don’t buy premium, I bought it today, paid to Apple and the service didn’t activate despite powering my phone on and off and logging in and out.

It was better before. I have been using Shapr for a while and I have to say it’s a great App to meet people everywhere but every time I swipe left somebody they show up again. It’s very annoying, please fix it !! Also it used to have interesting profiles. Now it’s full of people trying to sell their business in crypto currency, real state and some other stupid things ! Very annoying too.

This app is going to test your patience. The idea is good but the user experience is garbage. You have to wait for a new batch after just a few swipes and the matching process is terrible.

Profiles. Profiles should be vetted for authenticity. Too many fake profiles in the areas of forex and crypto. It’s obvious based on their names, fake profile photos and links in their profile which don’t work or are broken.

Great app. Great idea for an app, only really will work in big cities, but if you live in a city it’s a great way to network with other people you wouldn’t meet otherwise. Only problem is it seems like half the profiles I see are people trying to get you to buy into their fitness pyramid schemes. But if you ignore those and focus on the genuine people it’s a great app!

Spam spam spam. JustCrypto, Bitcoin and Forex spam over and over again. Add filters already! Figure this out..

App not working on new phone 12 Pro Max. The App is not loading in the new IPhone 12 Pro I recently got.

Can’t access for a few weeks now. I try to check for matches and all I get is a “we’re working on it, try again” message. I’ve tried with no success, may as well delete my account and stop wasting time on it.

The settings page won’t load. When I try to change my settings the settings page won’t load

Interesting networking. Neat idea to business network. Give it a shot

Can’t even delete my account. App freezes. Can’t link accounts. Can’t even delete my account. Tried to update the app...still can’t delete my account. Settings doesn’t even load properly.

Nice idea, not so nice execution. I used LinkedIn login and it couldn’t import even my LinkedIn profile URL automatically. I live in London Ontario but I cannot make a search in my city but instead only in London UK, there is also no “use my location” search option available. Only a couple of swipe can be made without a pro account which is not something common these days. Interests selection doesn’t work as it should be too, for example if you write development in the suggestion area you won’t be able to see webdevelopment or softwaredevelopment options. Most importantly there is no personal analytics available! There are a lot of things could be done with this app but it’s scope is too narrow. I got bored in 5 minutes. I would love to use this app regularly so I will continue to keep an eye on its future versions. Btw I couldn’t understand why this app is over 40mb.

It would be nice if the app would work.. Won’t let me sign in on LinkedIn, sounds like all these positive reviews are fabricated

Restrictions. Too much restrictions and too expensive to obtain more advantages. I’d rather increase my network on LinkedIn.

Good app. This is a good app. Met a few great people on the app. One thing I don’t like is there’s a lot of bitcoin people which I am not interested in

👉 Are you looking for an Adsense alternative advertising platform?

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

Good idea. Bad layout.. The app is supposed to pair professionals together to increase networking potential, which is a great idea. However, the app does not have more specific tags to pair only specific professionals within their own field. As a result, your matches to people outside your network and mostly with sales related contacts. Lastly, all your “free swipes” are filled with randomly assigned meets, which makes the overall experience feel like an dating app versus a medium for professionals to create connections within their professional community.

Update: App keeps crashing - now working after several re-installs. I use an iPhone 6 started using the app everything was going fine and then suddenly the app starts crashing every time I open it. Kindly resolve as soon as you can. Edited: Thanks for the response (developer) I had to uninstall and re-install a couple of times before the app got working again. I’ll be monitoring but so far so good :) I give a 4-star for now :)

Neat concept. Love the idea of this app. I’m an introvert by nature but when pushed can stand in a crowd and talk or pump them up. It seems like the rest of the world are introverts too because once we connect, we don’t say anything to each other. Can somebody please fix the badge notification crap? It is inaccurate and tells me I have notifications when it’s jut the app telling me, “Hey, man. It’s been 24 hours since you opened me. Just for that, here’s TWO notifications! HAHA! Fooled you. Nothing important is going on here! No new connections or messages! HAHA!!!”

Convenient way to network!. This app is great! It can be upsetting to wait a day between batches of matches, but the more folks download and use the app, the more frequently the match options will refresh. I have matched and met really interesting individuals in my city, and it made connecting with people a lot easier. I HATE mixers, and do a lot better in calmer one on one settings, so this app makes it easy to coordinate the interactions I want.

Where’s the Improvement?. I’ve used shapr for multiple years. The chat feature is still weak! Why does it always tell me the wrong amount of notifications? Why does my inbox always look crazy. Specifically, the messages I respond to remain unopened and it’s very messy. Not user friendly at all. Can we fix this? You guys have been around for a while and I love shapr... these are simple fixes that should have been rectified a LONG time ago.

Great app. Good app and just upgraded to Pro. Still much to be improved upon. When will you be adding additional features such as voice messaging, ability to send photos, at least voice calls, etc?

Great app, but.... I was a religious user of the app, however recently the app started crashing anything after it adjusts my location. This happened recently and I don’t believe an update was pushed through. I’m a little disappointed because the app teases me about how many people swiped right, but I missed them because the app mysteriously became unstable! Fix it please :)

Great app for professional networking!. I’ve used Shapr for couple of years now and have connected with many valuable connections. If you are a professional looking to connect with like minded individuals, I definitely recommend this app.

It’s great, but.... This app is great. It’s put me in contact with a lot of great people so far. However, when I click on someone message that’s new and go to send a message, it disappears. And I’ve clicked to un-match with some people and they won’t go away and it also keeps telling me people are new when I’ve already clicked on them and tried to send a message. Please fix this!

It's working for me. Hi all - don't usually do this but here I go. This app has been working for me and has already been fruitful after not having used it for very long! I don't have a lot of time to network and the people I have been connected with have been very receptive / open. Happy to have found this app!

Fabulous. I've been quite impressed with the simplicity and functionality of the app. I'm amazed at how many people I've connected with in just a week, and at how engaged and eager the people I've connected with are. I can definitely see this helping me change my career and hopefully impact others, too.

Business networking tinder style. shapr is a great app that connects like minded business individuals together. like other dating apps, u have the ability to swipe left or right. U have a number of limited swipes u can do per day. There’s a monthly membership where you can do more and connect with people globally..”

Just What I Needed!. Linkedin has been the social network I have used most to generate leads and connect to other professionals. This automated tool takes the guesswork out of reaching out to prospects and likeminded people everywhere. Prospecting and finding needed services can be done in a clear focused way. I can reach out to the right people without being intrusive.

Everyone need to be on Shapr. I just signed up and love the experience and people I’ve connected with so far. I actually posted about a similar app on LinkedIn, seeing if they would take the cue. This is the easiest and most efficient way to connect with like minded individuals. I’m growing my network each and every day. Check it out.

Inspirational Encounters. This app has sparked so many conversations that I may not have engaged in otherwise. These conversations have led to friendships, clients, and potential partners in my business. I am amazed that I've experienced these things all because I've downloaded this app. The future is now and Shapr is shaping our future one meeting at a time. Thank you Shapr.

Tinder for business. This app is really fun to use: the swipimg makes it fast to connect, pre-written yet personalize intro sentences make it very easy to start a conversation. Matches are improving, I use it for business and film and contacts are pretty high quality in both areas. I've basically abandoned LinkedIn.

Needs a way to filter results for more local suggestions. I signed up for Shapr Plus, and I still end up with about 45 out of 50 results from long distances away. When I search limiting my results to local results, I get many within that criteria. My selected results each day also include a majority that do not have interests in common, whereas my search results more closely fit the parameters I define. Too many of the suggestions sent to me are not relevant to my needs.

Does not live up to expectations.. Shapr has a lot of promise, but doesn’t live up to expectations. No matter how I configure my profile so that I can get matches within my desired field, Shapr is more interested in showing me skateboard enthusiasts and models. The search feature allows me to find the people that I actually want to connect with, BUT if you want to actually swipe right on those people, you need to purchase Shapr PRO for $20. Without access to networking within my field, this app is not useful to me.

Potential 5 stars. Love the concept on reading article. LinkedIn although great, I feel people don’t want to actually connect. Here the intention of developing networking & live meet ups as a skill, so far after 2 days of use, seems to be working. Unfortunately the app is unstable when loading, I presume it’s easily fixable. I’m looking forward to seeing how genuinely responsive participants are.

Who is available that isn’t entrepreneurial-minded?. So far the app has been disappointing. Many of the individuals are trying to move forward in business. That’s good, but I downloaded the app to network with people as a way of connecting with other people in my field or a related to my field. Dollar signs and profit are not my primary goal. I’m not looking for investors or people who are. Perhaps Shapr should think about connection that doesn’t always have making a buck as part of the intention.

Found my new job!. I had been looking for a job for well over a year and within a few weeks of having this app my new boss contacted me. I have been in my new position for 10 months now!! I wasn’t sure what Shapr was and didn’t think anything was going to come out of it and then i received a message that has since changed my life.

Hamstrung by Location Services. This app has potential. Unfortunately, they have still yet to fix the location services problem, where you only get matches from New York. They should implement a feature that just lets you manually choose your location. This would be very easy to program, and I think would help the app’s functionality, immensely. Showing only very far away people to a new Shapr user causes friction and is one of the primary reasons why this app won’t take off until that’s fixed.

After over a year... not at all impressed.. This app feels like a platform developed for people to expand their pyramid scheme companies. Work from home, make extra cash on the side, same ole story, same ole song and dance... only now there’s an app for it. It apparently list me as being in Canada instead of NY. A good half of the profiles that are presented are in French which I unfortunately do not speak. If I could network with people in my career field and not be hit with a sales pitch every message, I’d probably change my mind.

This app started my Software Engineering Career!. I downloaded this app a couple of months ago. After a week or two, I got connected with a bunch of people even better than LinkedIn. Long story short one of those connections became my employer now. I’m a software engineer at a great tech startup in NYC 😁 thank you Shapr! 🙏🏼 you literally changed my life!

So far I’ve only found people trying to sell me something. I’ve used this app for a month now, so far the only people I’ve met are interested in getting me into their pyramid scheme or convert me to their religion. I don’t know whether it’s only me or if this happens to all people. I’ll continue checking out this app and see whether I can find someone who’s actually worth networking with. So far sales seems to be the main thing going on everywhere.

Ran out of relevant matches in 2 weeks. I LOVED the app...at first. The first two weeks were amazing. I was connecting with people in my field, even people only tangentially related to my field. Two weeks in, and none of my suggestions are remotely relevant to what I do. Perhaps getting the app out to those smaller professional groups could help it to grow and stay relevant. It's a great idea, just needs more development and expansion in its user base.

Great app. The app is easy to use, however I’m still working through more. The app offers finding folks you are like yourself. You can share your interest and this option helps network on different levels, whether one is looking for a friend, mentor or simply to meet. Like I said I’m fairly new to it but what little I know is good

Great app, but a few glitches. I’ve met some great people on the app since joining last year. My only flag is that there are a few tech glitches. The most annoying is that the same person appears in my results daily, whether I ‘like’ them or not. No issues with the person - she seems lovely. But I would love to ‘meet’ someone new.

Good app. My experience with this app has been successful and I’ve met some great people and made some professional connections, but after the last update, there notifications that says something is there and when I heck- nothing- and then there’s the glitch where someone has sent me a message and when I slide down to update the messages, it doesn’t show up. Please fix this

App is buggy. Seems like a scam.. App can be temperamental and buggy. I wouldn’t sign up for an extended subscription. Sign up for just one month. They initially match you with a Shapr representative (like a dating website). I would’ve normally ignored such a match but being they were in the same country as my business and this isn’t a dating app I decided to message them. Less than a day or two after messaging their representative (with a totally legitimate business inquiry/message) they not only ignored my message and unmatched me. LAME! Initial matches were spot on but after a few days I was getting matches that were absurd...like oil and water! So use caution!!! Don’t sign up for a subscription beyond one month! Subscribe for a month then immediately cancel any automatic renewal until you can determine if this app is right for you.

Only good if you’re willing to pay. The “ free “ part of this app is so restricted that it’s basically not even worth the effort of signing up. You can’t message, or see who swiped right on you and you can search to see the exact people you’d love to get in contact with but you can’t swipe right or message them without the pro version. The pro version is of course an expensive monthly subscription rather than a one time investment. If you are only joining to get in touch with people than go to a different app like meetup

Ambitious, yet Flawed.. I love the concept. Unfortunately, it doesn't really have a deep enough user base. After two days, I've only been served four or five people in my city - the rest are either people who reside 100+ miles away or are C-Suite execs that are outside my stratosphere. I wish I could rate this more highly, but it's just not there. Perhaps in 2-3 years this might catch on. Until then, this is an ultimately hollow networking experience if your desire is to meet new local/semi-local professionals.

It lacks Something Important. I have to weed through all the bad with the good. Don’t get me wrong I’ve met legit people on here but I’ve encountered con artists and sexual predators. There has got to be a way to report in words and have these people blocked before they victimize others. You only get unmatched but you don’t have a choice to actually report to Shapr as to what is happening about some of these people.

Great app but could be better engineered. A daily staple for me!! Used this app all around the world and always end up meeting interesting folk to learn from. Only request is to please engineer this app better. It’s bloody slow most of the time on my iPhone 7plus and even my Google pixel!! Often I have to wait >5 seconds for stuff to load up.

Overall it’s great but…. Ive enjoyed using Shapr! A lot. I’ve gotten to meet with really great people and have gained a lot of cool mentorships. BUT lately, it’s been really slow. There’s errors popping up all the time when I’m attempting to match with other people. Great app but I rarely visit it anymore because of the errors it’s had lately.

Needs more options.. This looks great, but I need it to function better. I’m not dating or trying to date anyone here. I need to look at my options & be able to go back through them whether I swiped left or right. I need to go back through again, but can’t. I have to decide YES or NO before moving on. Once I move on, I can’t go back. So frustrating! Then there’s the needless 24 hr hold. I downloaded this app late one night. So now I can’t see any matches until 11:30 every night.

The MySpace of Networking. Shapr: duck you and duck your scammer-dominated app. Shapr won’t vet its users, as by verifying degrees and criminal background. Yet Shapr apparently believes I should pay it for the privilege of matching and meeting these randos in person. Oh, goody, can I, pretty please? (One match blocked me when I asked why he used the phrase “busy at then” while claiming to have a U.S. college degree.) If by network, you mean try to sell me some shady HFT crypto trading platform, duck you. And, Shapr, don’t ducking post some disingenuous developer response attempting to shift the blame to me to report *your* users to you. Do your ducking job vetting, and users won’t have these problems.

I'd pay for a subscription!. I love Shapr! Must have app for entrepreneurs. I'm an introvert who has a hard time initiating contact with people at networking events. I hate small talk!! With Shapr a quick swipe is the only small talk required. After that I'm able to connect with new people in a more meaningful and direct way about their professional passions. Interested to see if they get into any experiential marketing with the app.

App is cool. Love the app it's basically tinder but for networking Only flaw the time limit its a little childish ... Not all of the matches that I have made respond to netting up some people match and are no responsive making it harder for the user to get to matches that will respond. The app it self looks great and is easy to use but the time limitation makes it a tad bit foolish

Love the concept, execution needs work. I think this is a great idea for growing your network and forming your tribe. I am a little frustrated that the suggestions I am given are so far removed from my area I could never actually meet up with these people. I recommend improving location accuracy with the ability to adjust your search area (10 miles, 50 miles, etc.).

App w/ Potential? Not too sure. App has potential, but decides to charge you before even using it effectively. Before i even figure out how to sort out my interests and match with the right prospects - they decided to place a pay wall on my profile. As a digital marketer, they fail to first reel you in with the value that this app can have. I.e. first allow user to use it with all features for x amount of days, once you see that you have effectively used this and even started networking successfully, then i may be more inclined to pay for the subscription. Offer value for free- then someone may be more inclined to pay for it! Really simple guys! After seeing many of the same complaints it seems management are not interested in really becoming the leader in networking apps available for businesses. Unfulfilled potential in my eyes

Great idea, but where are the females?. I think this app is perfect when you're trying to get out of your circle a little bit and make fresh connections. Easy to use. I didn't have any matches for 3 days, so I wish in the beginning the app adjusted the lock-out time based on how many swipe-rights you had. Also took 3 days to see females in my connections!

App is ok but ladies beware. I’ve been using the app for a couple months now and I’ve found you have to be really dig to find any quality people. A lot of men, particularly married men seem to be using this as a dating app. I’ve stopped matching with men at this point because it’s just too much work to decide if they’re creeps or not. That being said, I do think there are some genuinely great people on here and the app itself works fine.

Incredible!, but.... I’ve been using this app for about six months and LOVE it! I’ve found friends, business partners, new clients, and a lot of great 1 time conversations. I actually purchased the paid version and I never do that. However, two suggestions that would improve it greatly would be; 1) being able to search your connections by name 2) filter to only Unread conversations. The app consistently fails in letting me go back far enough in my conversations to talk to people I met a few weeks ago. Some technical error I guess. I can’t access dozens of unread messages and this is a huge pain point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Careful. While the idea of the app is great the reality is a little bit different. If you are trying to network within your area, good luck. The first couple days are usually good (I live in Dallas), but after that about 1-4 of my daily batch are from Canada or somewhere nowhere near my local business. This isn’t even counting the 75% of MLM/Forex/hard sellers in the app. Very frustrating to deal with and maybe not worth the hundred hours I’ve spent on this app over the past 3 years.

Connect with hustlers like yourself!. They say that you are only as good as the company you surround yourself with... I don't fully agree to that, BUT Shapr helps you sprinkle the brainstormers & the envelop pushers into your network that you may have never met any other way! It's the best digital version of a "cocktail mixer" and networking function out there.

Disappointed. Interesting concept but, 9 out of 10 daily swipes are to people who aren’t in my market (or city, state or even country). Additionally, most of the people have no interest in actually meeting and some just use hard sales tactics without even getting to know your needs, wants, etc. There no easy way to network other than putting yourself out there and do it. I’ll give it a few more weeks to see if the app learns where I am and provides better match opportunities and people who actually want to network, other this app is destine for the delete folder.

Horrible UX. Horrible user experience. So many glitches. For the goals: I would select one and other ones would get selected. For the hashtags: most of the screen was covered by the keyboard and couldn’t figure out how to see all the hashtags I added. Also, I would try to delete them and it wouldn’t let me. Same for other inputs: I would input something and it wouldn’t save. Final straw was the brand ad (after swiping through all my daily connections) which didn’t fit my iPhone 7 screen so I could never exit.

Great App to network with like minded people!. Definitely recommend for everyone, this app helped me connect with quite some people that have similar visions as me. Its a great way to be inspired and even get a mentor. There are few bugs here and there but not like it can’t be fixed easily! I RealAkashPatel will be more than happy to chat with you on the app, don’t forget to swipe right.

Needs Growth. Shapr has so much potential. I wish it allowed you to upload more images of your work, because it would be a great feature for visual careers. The description isn’t long enough for users who have a wide variety of skills and multiple projects to offer. It’s also strange that the number of swipes are rationed, if you don’t pay for premium. I hope the app grows more users, because there is currently a very small pool to pull from.
