Great tuner, but inaccessible. I have always loved this app, and have used it for many years, but starting last year it’s literally impossible to use it because as soon as I open the app an add pops up, and I’ve waited for it to finish and so I can exit and use the tuner, but the exit never appears. I’ve tried interacting with the add, and still it won’t go away, rendering the app completely useless, and a waste of time. It’s a shame, I don’t like change but it’s definitely time to delete the app and find a better tuner in the App Store.

Title. I like this app but I think that the tuning should be a little more accurate. When I tried this app the tuner wasn’t moving back and fourth like it should’ve been. Edited version- ever since the update I’ve had a more ch better experience. I highly recommend this app.

Great!! But.... Hey! If you need to tune your guitar this is the app!! But it has a few tiny details that I feel like are my fault but just wanted to tell you guys— So it was going great!! It works fine until I got to d, a and e, it couldn’t read the sound and picked a totally different letter! Like I played the d note and it kept saying it was a E which could be my fault for not tuning it correctly but I just wanted to point that out to see if it could be fixed. But except from that it’s awesome! (Expect for having to pay for it, which I didn’t lol) Bye, and thanks for reading!

This is a pretty great app. Guitar tuner is a great app for a few different instruments. It’s great for tuning, knowing when you’re right, knowing what it’s supposed to sound like. It also gives a great variety of chords and how to play them. I’d say the only downside is when you just get the free there are lots of adds. But overall, it’s a great app.

Fun and easy. I had no idea how to tune my guitar or my ukulele or to find out that Tunes both. I tried so many other apps and they were so confusing and I found this one and it was really really easy and fun and exciting. I highly recommend this app.

Guitar was out of tune. I got a guitar for school and I knocked it out of turn somehow and I needed it fixed ASAP so I found this app and it helped me it tells exactly what to do and shows when u got it in tune I recommend this app to everyone that need to tune their guitar

Easy Tuning. This app is so easy to tune your instrument it has three categories for instruments, the first is Guitar it includes acoustic and electric, also Bass guitar and ukulele if it is out of tune all you have to do is strum a string and it will listen and it will have up down and ok you want to get it to ok. That means it is tuned if it says down or up you need to move the pegs up or down until it is at ok. Hope this helps :)

30 sec videos to use the app??. This app used to be free. In order to make any changes including switching between automatic tuning and manual tuning, you have to be provided “granted rewards,” by watching ridiculous 30 second ads. The kicker is that it doesn’t work have the time, so you’re watching ads back to back without being able to actually use the app. Definitely deleting.

AWSOME. I am a beginner and none of my family knew how to tune it. Then my dad said to try an app and looked in the App Store I found this. This app not only tunes you guitar but it has beat you can play to and someone that TEACHES YOU. It is amazing 🤩 and I have never had any problems with this game. Big thumbs Up 👍 rekamend.

Better good and it works. When I bought this I thought it wouldn’t work but it really shook me how good it was accurate with the notes I’m playing. Then I went to the end of the room a played the note and it got it correct so I really recommend this for people how don’t know or can’t afford a tuner

A good app but...... I have been using this app for quite a while and it’s good, visually is good, and the performance is good, but there is an small issue, on the jam session whenever I try to download the backing tracks from other styles it says “Loading” but doesn’t download anything m, I even waited a couple minutes but nothing happened.

Do not download. This is one of the worst tuner apps i've ever had I am a beginner in the guitar world and my guitar is not tune at all and thanks to the app now it's even worse the app can't recognize a string from string I keep saying that my G string is my B string and then I want tune it right the app is way off it's super hard to even play a string for the app because there are so many ads the app doesn't register some of the strings the second E string it will not register I thought this app would work but it didn't and I do not recommend downloading

Amazing!. I got this at 11:00 pm while randomly tuning my ukulele and as soon as I saw free I downloaded it. even though there is a subscription you can pay for it IS OPTIONAL which I appreciate VERY much while the ukulele, guitar, and bass tuners are still free. This app is very helpful and I would recommend. It tells you if you need to go up or down in pitch and overall worked very good for me. I will be using this is the future!

Download this right now!. I am trying to teach myself guitar and came across this app in the App Store. I immediately tried it out and now my guitar is the perfect tone! It gives you examples of how it should sound and to go up or down! Love it! Nothing wrong with it!

It was alright, then.... So I got this app because it just has so many tunings n even though the guide needle isn’t spot on, it usually helps enough and you can get your guitar in tune. I bought all the extra tunings because it was a flat rate and ya know why not. Now that they’ve updated it though, it’s a pay by WEEK thing and I think that is absolutely ridiculous. If you’re gonna do that I suggest just using your money on a better tuning app like GuitarTuna. And I don’t even get my like $3 back. >:(

Hostage Ads. The ads don’t let you tap the X. You can see it, but it’s so far up in the top corner of the screen that you can’t actually click it. Then there’s no way out of the ad, even if you close and restart. $7.99 a week for a tuner is bonafide assault so that’s not an option. 2 stars because the layout of reliability of the actual tuning tool is good.

Overpriced. I was all about this app when I first got it. I even paid the $2 or $3 (whatever it was) to unlock all of the extra tunings. Now they’ve changed it to $7.49 a week for premium... really? A week?! Come on guys, I understand you’re proud of your app but seriously. That’s too rich for my blood and I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels this way. Let’s get real, most normal guitar players don’t have disposable income like that. So I one starred it. It works fine but I wouldn’t ever pay that much for something that I could just literally find in a hundred different places on the internet for free.

The best for me. As a lifelong beginner, this app has been enormously helpful in helping me practice and LEARN. When it comes to instruction, I get frustrated quickly. This has allowed me to expand my knowledge of the guitar without feeling like I’m wasting mine or someone else’s time. I imagine, once I’m comfortable with my skill level I will seek lessons from a maestro. But until then this app is the best for me.

Puts me at ease. This tuner has held up for me time and time again. The ease of use for a guitar player to both plug in or go acoustic to get in tune is substantial in this app. I’m not just impressed that this sort of thing can be built into my phone (I’ve used plenty of bad tuning apps) but also it’s unmistakeable and no fuss GUI, make it a must have for the traveling crooner. Such occasions for spontaneous need for tuning most assuredly include drunken jam circles. You’ll be glad you grabbed this freebie. It doesn’t let you down. It only lifts you up.

Accurate and easy to use. I have been looking for an accurate and easy to use guitar tuner. I have downloaded a couple but I'm only keeping this. I am an intermediate player. I play in a band and gig at least 1-3 x monthly in local bars and venues. This is the guitar tuner I like.

If I could give it zero stars I would. It did not work at all. I don’t think it is because I have a nylon guitar though which makes it really frustrating, especially for beginners like my self. I severely recommend not getting it and not spending any money on it because I have also seen bad reviews about the trial. So overall it is complete crap and a complete waste of time. Especially when you have just changed your strings and when they are really out of tune. So basically it is impossible to use. 👿👿👿👿👿

Taken for the sole purpose of expanding your premium?. Do what you will but I used this app solely because it showed so many chords. Yet now to view the variations (minor, 7, etc.) you require us to purchase premium. I'll just download a free app for that now. But I guess you do have competition so you had to make more money? Idk. These apps are literally everywhere. So good luck!!

Good but.... I use Ultimate Guitar and your tuner cannot rotate to vertical page. I play that way because I get a better look at the music as it moves through.. I like your tone indicating the right freq. on your tuner because I double check with a clip on tuner and it works great. But your tuner is not really visible because it’s turned...I do very long recording sessions and I can use all the help I can get. Accuracy is very important.

Terrible. I had taken a break from playing guitar so I needed to tune. I downloaded this app and it said my E string was the B string, it would not register my A string. I was playing open A and it would just say “play an open note” or whatever. If you want your guitar to be nicely tuned, download a different app.

Waste of time and money. I got the trial and I wasn’t even able to do ANY other tunings on than the standard, it’s a trial for a reason, I get to try it. Not only that problem, but also, why the hell cant I do more than one tuning with the standard version??? Worst guitar app I’ve seen, you literally can’t do anything. Who in their right mind would pay $8 a week just to tune a guitar? Literally the worst thing possible. Never seen such a waste of money other than the games that use subscriptions and also cost $7-$15 a week, just ridiculous. Not even the FREE TRIAL is worth it

Awesome and Worked Very Well. I am a Ukulele beginner and I didn’t know how to tune my Ukulele. I was watching videos online and they all said I needed to tune my Ukulele. I tried different apps but they were to complicated and confusing. This app was very helpful and has different setting for Guitar, Bass, and Ukulele. It also has keys to tell you what the note should sound like.

Practical. Very good. Nothing too special about it, I mean, it gets the job done and that’s all that’s matters to me, the only thing is the ads. I play the ukulele, and I couldn’t find a ukulele tuner so this app works just fine. I just wish that you didn’t have to pay for a subscription just to get rid of the ads, because the ads make it take a lot longer. As soon as I open the app there’s literally 2 ads already. I just want to tune my ukulele and not have to wait 3 minutes for an ad to finish. Please make an ad free version cuz there’s no way I’m getting a subscription. Also there’s no chords dictionary for the uke, only for the guitar. other than that great app. 👍

Great app!. This app is great because it will make a noise when I got it right and it is very easy for beginners if you are just starting out and want to learn how to play the cords and start playing songs.

Fix this? Please?. I just paid for a yearly subscription and it’s wanting me to renew it again already. and that my subscription will renew on May 5th 2020, all I have is the standard tuning to use, pretty annoying honestly. I really like this app and all the different setting I just would like to be able to use what I paid for help a guy out? Already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and it says I’m currently subscribed to the yearly access but I can’t even use it.

Ummmmm. It all was pretty good while I was trying to tune my guitar, until the second to last string broke. I was really looking forward to learning how to play guitar, too. So that’s what bummed me out the most, i would recommend it, but I wouldn’t want any other people have they’re strings break too. I don’t really know if this review is accurate, because it broke within the first few minutes I had the app, so I don’t have much experience with this app, but just be careful when you tune your guitar with this app. 😔

Sirnutella117. This app is great 👍🏻 I tried using my electric tuner but it broke so I downloaded this so I could play some saliva. Which is in dropped C. Payed the small fee and away I played. If your have the issue of mic not working restart your phone. That fixed it immediately:) rock hard my dudes and dudets🤙🏻

Its works great for ukulele!. Its worked really well and it even tells either to ho up or down when it comes to the tuning gears, the only bad part is that its one of those type of apps with loads of adds. Other than that its great 👍

Actually fairly decent. I like the app but you know what would make it EVEN BETTER??? Like custom tuning option as to where say I wanted my own tuning that isn't official I could just select the tunings I want for each string and then BAM done. You know?

Overall amazing. I like the way this app works but tuning can be difficult. My suggestion to you is make a manual tuning function. From when your trying to tune to a drop c can sometimes be really difficult but it’s really accurate that’s why I’m suggesting manual tuning so it can be more accurate. And if you don’t get what I mean by manual is when you tap on a cord it stays there tune it then tap on the next, but this app overall is accurate and a really great tuner I highly suggest it the best two dollars I’ve spent on in my life.

Why the ads?. I have this app for my acoustic guitar. This guitar app is great except the ads sometimes it only takes a second to hit the x but sometimes it takes a couple minutes. All I want to do is to tune my guitar. Can’t you guys just remove the ads??!?!? Pls. READ This Review! I love this app and I would give it five stars if there weren’t ads.

Ridiculous ads. The recent update completely ruined this app. It doesn’t tune my guitar correct anymore and I downloaded a different tuner app which tuned my guitar correctly. Idk if all the ridiculous ads on it screwed it up. Then one of the ads was basically for a prom dating sites. I get enough porn/dating sites on all my other apps. I’m not looking for those types of ads while tuning my guitar. Mind you I’ve had this tuner app for many years and never had a problem until this recent update.

Tuner. This helped me tune my guitar all on my own without having to go have someone do it for me. I gave it a four because I still had to find a video on how to turn the right way and how to fine tune but I eventually got it. This was easy than I expected and I use it when my strings sound off. It is extremely practical and convenient because it is both free and an app allowing you to use it anywhere

Amazing!. I've had my guitar out of tune for about a year now. I looked for tuning apps today for the first time and this app was the first good one I saw, so I downloaded it and within less than 30 minutes I had tuned my guitar. Thank you so much for this app! You have made one very happy music lover. I would definitely use this app for tuning my guitar again and again.

Really helpful!. I’m new to the guitar. I had no idea how to tune it, all the notes sounded off key when I first got it. (I got it from my great aunt, who didn’t tune it first, so it was all out of line.) I was given a tuner to go on my guitar and I didn’t understand it, so I used this app to begin with. It’s amazing, it helped me tune my guitar in less than 5 minutes!

Everything. Initially it was not my favorite tuner because it's not "pretty" and the needle moves slower than I like and sometimes it doesn't know which string you are attempting to tune when switching from alternate tunings. However, it has become my go to tuner when using anything other than standard tuning! It has a library of alternate tunings that is large and impressive! One of my instructors give me a alternate tuning assignment every week - Tony Polecastro - and this app is always right on with its organization and # of alternate tunings! No other tuner I have found is as efficient when it comes to alternate tunings. Suggestion to developers: include the ability to change the reference scale. I like to tune to 432mhz as well (vs. 440mhz).

Not the greatest and too many ads. They asked me at the wrong time because I just got really mad about all the ads I had to go through and it took me to different places like safari and then the App Store and then I had to log off of those and delete the web browser it created multiple times. I took longer than it would take to tune my guitar, and the tuning isn’t even perfect. I guess nothing free is really “WOW” you know.

Completely amazing!. This is a life save cuz I play electric guitar like my dad and I can always use his tuners when I play so I saw this app and thought it looked cool and I admit it is confusing at first bc u thought when it said it was 2 low it asked me to go lower but then I just trusted it and it worked! It’s great!

Amazing. I recently started to learn guitar, and this app is just perfect. It has a perfect guitar tuner as well as a page where you can see all sorts of chords and strumming. It’s perfect for beginners and is all around amazing because of the amount of ads I get. It’s almost like I’m using a premium version but didn’t spend a cent!

Could be better tbh. I mean, it works as a little portable thing for tuning your guitar(my use of the app) on the road when away from my amp(has a fantastic built in tuner). I feel like maybe it could be better, but perhaps that’s just the tech limitations. Idk. It works though, and I only need it for recreational purposes, so it serves well enough I’d say.

Love it. I love this app all the other apps are counfusing but this one is so simple my guitar was so out of tune so I didn’t play it and just put it away a few years later I got it out and started looking for a tuner and thought I’d give this a shot and I guess it was my lucky day now I play music almost every day and I am getting pretty good so I totally recommend this

This app is amazing!! 😍😍. I love this app, when I downloaded it I thought all I was going to get was a tuner but it also shows you how to play chords. And it has other cool features. I’ve been playing guitar for 3 months now and I can play quite a bit of songs. When I find new songs and it has a new chord I just go to this app. (I use Ultimate guitar to find songs). I also play ukulele so this is also really helpful for that. The only thing I don’t like is every time I log on there is an add. But other than that great app!!

Life Saver!. I highly recommend this! It's quality is excellent, it's easy, and just downright fun! I'm in a family of people that plays guitar and they're always complaining about how hard it is to tune a guitar, but this app gets the job done in mere minutes! Today one of my strings was miraculously loose, so much so that it didn't even make sound but with all I've learned from this and the tuning system I could fix it in under 10 minutes! THAT is amazing! Now I'm a COMPLETE noob to guitar, barely ever picked one up let alone play it but this app makes me feel like a pure pro! If you need a tuner, teacher, guitar buddy, someone to help you from tuning to playing songs, this app is 11/10 by me!

Kinda Dissappointed. I know next to nothing about guitars, but I do play the ukulele, so my family members wanted me to learn how to play the guitar that belonged to my father. It probably hasn’t been tuned for 10 years, so that might have something to do with it. Very good App. Even though that you have to pay for the full version the regular version without pay is very good too. Probably better than all the other tuner apps. Also it teaches you how to do chords on the instruments.

This app is the worst. You get adds before you can tune, and after the add finishes the app just closes and you get more adds when reopening. Doesn’t work, don’t waste your time.

Old Dog, New Tricks?. Who said it was not going to be easy for a 70yr old to take up guitar playing? This app makes it a lot easier just to get used to the chords (without burning fingertips on a hot plate - although that helps as well). A great app. Luvit.

Doesn’t work for me, now my guitar is useless. I’ve looked through some of the reviews and this app is easy for them. I use this for my guitar, and it keeps telling me to tune a string up wards and then when I do that the app starts to think I’m playing the e string. I don’t know why it doesn’t work for me, but now my guitar is so off tune that no app even recognises the string. 😡

Tuning A and lower E. So I don’t know if this is the app or the guitar itself, but I’m trying to tune the E string, but the app is picking it up as the A string. I tune the A perfectly, I move to E, it’s like ‘oh you’re still on A okay’ and now the two are the same. Perhaps an option where we can force the app to listen for a certain string, for the new guitarists like myself who aren’t used to hearing the strings/tuning them?

Angry!. Downloaded this app to tune my guitar and later deleted it. Just found out it has charged me over $30 over the past few months when I never authorised it to or subscribed for it to do this! Extremely upset! Don’t download this “free” app! It’s a scam to get your money.

Amazing. This was my first time using the app and I got it right the first time. I would recommend doing this in a very quiet or silent room as it will pick up background noise. Other than that it is perfect and if you can’t afford an actual tuner just download this app.

Ad integration is way too much. The actual ui ux for the tuner is relatively sound , but disappointingly the pop up ads are just so over the top and nigh impossible to close. I have deleted this app out of frustration. I’d have paid for an ad free version in lieu of waiting for a 45 sec video ad that won’t close once it’s done every time I want to quickly tune my guitar. 1 star

Easy to use. CoachTuner is an app that helps you tune guitar, bass and ukulele. I use it for my ukulele, and it's very easy and really well done. When I first got my ukulele, I tried looking for tuning apps but I couldn't find any that were good, until my friend recommended me CoachTuner. If it weren't for this app, my ukulele would be sitting somewhere, never to be played. I highly recommend this to anyone with a guitar, base or ukulele. It's so easy and quick!

Lacks basic functionality unless you subscribe. If i knew that, i would not have installed it nor I would have leave this review. And price of sub at 10 / week or 40 a month is more than guitar financing. Run away!!!

Foolishness. I’ve been able to use alternate tunings for years on this app and suddenly you have to pay for something that was always there for free. Wrong way to handle making people pay for a service. I’ll be using another app

Loved but hate it now. Can’t even use the app because the “x” on the ads isn’t working. Literally opened and closed the app a bunch of times. Watched all these ads and everything... the ad ends and the close button doesn’t work at all... it’s has been going on for a few weeks. It’s like you’re forcing us to go premium. What a shame.

Can't try out with the free app. Don't make the App free if it requires money to do anything.

One star, here’s why. Here’s the deal, I’ve had this app a little longer than a year, and it was good. Everything worked well and it had a lot of tunings that I use such as dropped tunings. I payed for all of the tunings and now with this update I have to pay a weekly subscription? Hell no! This is complete bull. This is fraud at its finest. I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone, it’s not worth $8 a week or $38 dollars a year. You can find a free app that works just as fine.

Adds. It’s a great app but it has the most annoying adds I Have ever seen but they only pop up when your not on the tuner they come up all the time when I try to learn a chord

Getting tuned up. It was easy enough to download and get tuned right away! I haven’t advanced to anything beyond the open string tuning feature, but that is serving me perfectly at this point.

Coach tuner. Yep...seems to work pretty well, I’ve noticed improvements since I first started using it. CoachTuner is the only tuner I use and because I keep it on my phone I can use it anytime I get handed a guitar!

Lying liars who tell lies. This app is NOT free!!! $8 a week. Not a year, not a month, a week! I’ve never written a review for any app before but this was so funny I had to do it. Who in their right mind would pay eight dollars a week to tune their guitar? If you are considering paying eight dollars a week to tune your guitar let me suggest that you read some books on making financial decisions before you purchase this app.

Excellent features, particularly for a newbie. I’m just learning to play guitar and I love the feedback as I’m tuning the guitar. My skills are limited enough. The app makes tuning much easier process for me..

Good idea but expensive and doesn’t work. I paid for the upgrade but not a single one of the “jam tracks” will actually download and work. The tuner is ok, not the most precise but if all the features actually worked maybe useful but also even if they did, 7.99 dollar subscription..... that’s not cool at all man. Especially when there are several free tuners that are much more accurate.

Fred Granados. Now I have a tuner with me at all times. I was impressed how accurate it performed for me. I had my guitar tuned just the day before installing the app and it registered each note perfectly. I am very pleased. What more can I say.

Don’t recommend. The app was kinda okay at first but on my last two cords it did not work I spent 45 minutes on one cord and it only made it worse, this was a waste of my precious time. I am trying a different app now. Maybe it was just a glitch with me. I’m not saying this will necessarily happen to you, but it sure happened to me!

What happened. I don’t know what changed, but now the meter for tuning just flips back and forth. Pluck a string and you get whiplash as it shoots from one note to another. It has lost all functionality and usefulness. I could just ignore the typical stupid ads for awful games, but now that it does not work I’m deleting this and trying a different app.

Didn’t like it one bit. Downloaded this because I can’t find my guitar tuner. Tried tuning my guitar with it and it didn’t work. it just tells me to play an open string and when I did. It didn’t bother telling me wether the string was tuned properly or not. The little needle stayed put in the dead center the entire time, no matter what string I played. Overall annoyed that I downloaded this. Rather keep looking for my tuner

amazing!. I have just started guitar lesson’s and I need to practice at home and sometime’s the guitar gets out of tune so I found this app and when I first tried using the app to tune the guitar it worked so good and don’t forget to keep up the good work!

From an 12 year old who is content. I’m only 12 and this was so easy and fun to tune and when I finally tuned it right I was so proud I’m so happy now I get to play as much is I want on my new tuned guitar 😇

Used to be nice. I used to love this app because mostly because is has a feature with chording that was a great help in visualizing and hearing chords I was a little shaky on. But now the app won’t let you use this feature unless you pay upright of $7 week (or they have a “discount” for $40 a year). If you ask me I don’t understand why something so simple should cost so much, but I guess I’m just cheap 🤷‍♀️

Missing something. I like the app but there a guitar I can’t find. I play 12 string acoustic, Bass, and Bajo quinto. I can’t find the bajo quinto so when it gets untuned i can’t find an app I was hoping for this one to have a tuner for a Bajo Quinto. I Recommend the app to people who play Bass, Ukulele, and guitar but not for people who play bajo quinto since there is no tuner for it

Payed for other tunings. I payed 1.99 for the extra tunings about a month ago, I am very angry because I payed for them and I no longer have them you now have to pay for a monthly subscription in order to get them. I am angry because I never got my 1.99 back and now I feel like I payed for something and now they are saying I can’t have it. Do not get this app they only want money.

More options for ukulele. the app works well and I never have technical problems but I play the ukulele and all I can do is tune. I would like if I were able to learn new chords and that was one of the mane reasons I got the app. I’m not sure if there are just no ukulele options I can’t find proper instructions.

LOVE IT. Only 5 minutes after tuning, and immediately a lifesaver plus it was free! Hope there are is no need for a purchase to keep using!

Simple Tuner. Just downloaded this app and it works pretty good as I usually use my Snark but lately it seems flat and way off. But this phone app is easy to tune my 12 string accoustic but you have make it loud to see it on display.

Okay app but don’t give them money!. There are lots of guitar tuner apps. This is one, and it works okay. But geez - don’t upgrade! It’s fifty dollars a year, unless you pay weekly, and then it’s $400 a year. I like to support developers, so I opt for the paid version usually - but this is not supporting a developer. It’s getting totally ripped off. Apple should NOT allow this on the App Store.

Update. Newest updates have been a game changer for this app! Chords are what I'm working on now and it hasn't been any easier until now.

I love it... but it’s not listening.. So, it’s amazing if you know how to tune a guitar or instrument by ear, because I only use this for tuning, nothing else, but it says that it’s tuned correctly when it’s not. Kind of defeats the whole purpose but helps a lot otherwise.

Great app but a few glitches. The app is amazing! It accurately picks up sound from my ukulele. However, there were a couple of times where I had to delete the app and download it again because of a few glitches.

5 stars!. This app is amazing! I used to have the GuitarTuna app by yousician but it wouldn’t tune right. It showed to be in tune but it was obviously not exactly tuned, especially the smaller strings. This app is so much better and I highly recommend it!

Tuning anytime. Having this on my phone allows me to tune the guitars that don’t have clip on tuners. I play six different guitars when I perform depending on what genre of music I am playing. This tuner allows me one less thing to keep track of. Thanks, Uncle Lew

Ukulele needs improvement.. Great for guitars, but if you advertise that the app works for ukuleles, then it needs to work completely with the instrument. I cannot figure out how to change the chord diagrams to a ukulele, and I don’t think there’s an option to do so. Great for guitar and bass, but the ukulele part needs improvement.

Running the girar. The tuner helps me tune it eventually, but the tuner is hard to get started at first but it does have its ways for tuning a instrument. It takes forever but it’s worth it when you can play the guitar with the right noises!!!

Not bad. the older version of this tuner actually works pretty well on an iPhone 4 surprisingly. for those of you with an older phone. it's worth it. don't really have anything to complain about

Already paid. So I bought the app for the 2.99 before it was a weekly and life time subscription and now they are asking me to pay again, I know this was a while ago but still. The other problem I had was the tuner hardly worked! the app 99.9% of the time was way off when I was trying to tune down especially in D or a half step down from E. I loved the app when it did work but that was almost never.

Other tuning. Would receive a ten out of ten but only allows for standard tuning, other apps like the fender app offers other tuning options for free other than standard

Great guitar. I think it’s awesome and it’s a very great learning experience for kids and it also teach you how to play the beautiful sound of the guitar so I think I will give this a five star review.

Impossible to use. The add just jumps around from A to E flat to anything. When I actually play a note, that I know is close, the app doesn’t even seem to notice. Well, really you can’t tell cuz the app may pass it while it’s just jumping from note to note. Useless. I’ve been knocking around guitars and such for decades now. Never saw something so bad. Glad I didn’t pay for it!

Works well but over-run with ads!. Tuner is straightforward to use and the access to ukulele is great, but each time you use this app the pop up ads increase in both quantity and irrelevance to the app itself (mattress ads!?). Its a free app, so I understand the need for ads to bring in some revenue, but keep it to one every 15 minutes and, if possible, related to music.

Wow. ive never written a review before. this app, sucked so hard at tuning my guitar that i gave it a review. i was gonna give it two stars, because it has tons of tuning options, but I Cant Use Them. so whats the point in having them if you Cannot Use Them. i just mean wow. the app is so in responsive dude, i thought it was a glitch and i restarted the app and even my phone, but nah. it just doesn't work.

More options. Tuning, have different tunings to try. Then give a tutorial as to why musicians use such a tuning. Drop tunings, open tunings. And make it free!! Other guitar tuning apps, want us to pay for those options. Charity man! We all know most musicians live of passion, not money.

Bad Pitch. As I used this tuner for the first time I thought that the temp had messed up my tuning when I noticed it sounded off. I tined again and it just sounded off. I downloaded another one that actually tuned to the perfect pitch. If I did’t know better and was a beginner I’d be discouraged. Shame on this app for potentially taking the drive of first time players.

Great app!. This is a very easy app to use and is extremely convenient, however it tried to tune the wrong string more than once. Other than that, this app is is very useful and is very easy.

Ads.. Every time I press a button on the app an ad pops up. I highly recommend this app if you enjoy an ad between tuning each string, also, who thought it would be a good idea to use an “in tune” sound? The whole point of getting your guitar tuned is to listen to it, instead you get a chime of a different note when you’re guitar is close to being tuned.

Angry. My tuner was dead so I needed something to tune my guitar with. I saw this app and though it would be good because it’s set up the same way my tuner was. Wrong. This app caused one of my guitar strings to BREAK. I wasn’t strumming aggressively or anything. I tried tuning up and down but it kept telling me to do more then my string snapped. Wouldn’t recommend this app. Very angry.
