Waste of money and time. I stupidly bought three months to give this a chance and I immediately regretted it. It’s pricey and less successful than bumble and tinder somehow. The people on this app are apparently long distance and/or don’t reach out. Who is paying and who isn’t? Seems like there are limitations. Where is this being marketed? I also blocked some people and yet they were still able to send me messages?! It’s also creepy that they by default show your exact location on a map. Stalker encouraging much?! Don’t do it. The better known free apps are a better bet and it’s all the same crap full of “entrepreneurs” 🤥🤣🤪

Kinda big let down. If you pay the initial $10 I recommend IMMEDIATELY going to my account and turning off the renewal option based on what other members have said about the charges. Try it for a week, see if you like it. In my opinion, this app is just uggo guys with better jobs. I was accepted in under 24 hours, which I'm sure is due to the way I look (I am not active on FB or LinkedIn because I hate social media), but I do go to an exclusive graduate school. After being tired of men trying to shove their tongue down my throat, groping me, and expecting sex on the first date (after wanting to split the bill mind you), I want to try something different. I'm disappointed by the men on here and offended that women have to pay for this service. That said, I'm traditional and maybe that's anti feminist... I don't care. Successful attractive women should be courted, not asked to pay for a service of let's face it guys who think their jobs entitle them to women and don't seem to be screened rigidly (seriously there are some GROSS guys on here). However, I don't think that the men should have to pay so much for this app. Why can't singles get a reasonably priced exclusive dating app with slightly better standards? It's slim pickins out there... 🎤

Love. Love the app, LOTS of cute guys ;) It seems to have a different feel than regular everyday dating apps. Though I really wish it expanded to more than just the few major cities, as I’m about 3 hrs from one... but I feel like it’s worth it, and not a deal breaker since ppl here usually travel. I also love that they give you a chance to have full access after 2 friends sign up.

A Frustrating App. The process of creating a account did not flow. When uploading photos i got a lot of errors saying the photo was invalid to use as a main photo because it was not showing my face. (Which it was...)The app automatically crops out your face with no option of manually cropping it yourself. once you profile is made there is a bug in the app that prevents you from deleting any photos. i have duplicates i cant remove which is annoying. I tried logging in on the website desktop version to delete the duplicates but i had trouble logging into my account. The forgot password option didnt send a email at all....Ive read several other reviews stating that you can not do much on the app but like other's profiles until you pay for the upgraded versions. One positive thing, there seems to be a lot of options matched for me in my interested area compared to other dating apps I've tried. Sad to say i might have to delete this one and keep looking

Unresponsive Administrator. Unfortunately couldn’t experience the app because it apparently takes multiple days for site administrators to approve photos. I was on day 4 or 5 before I gave up and resigned to the fact that this app was probably a sham. If it takes multiple days to get your photo approved then I can only imagine how that would impact the adoption rate of potential users, leading to low inventory of possible matches, let alone anyone actually willing to engage in a conversation. Too bad, so many bad dating apps out there and this one decided to be a part of that group. Can only imagine what it’s like to be an employee for this company. Good luck trying to disrupt the dating game fellas! Looking forward to the canned response from the developers.

I really wanted to like it :/. I like the idea of this app. It is relatively user-friendly and unique in its own way (meet-ups, etc.) However, I am really disappointed with it. I started with a free account and I was very frustrated that I couldn’t see ANY likes or messages. It felt pointless because I had very few filters. I liked how you could access people in various cities around the world, but it only had a few cities - therefore limiting my options. Frustrated, I decided to get the pro membership. Now I was able to see the messages and likes I received and I had a few more filters. Even so, I NEVER received a response from the people I messaged or liked and I can only assume it’s because they don’t have the premium membership so they can’t see my messages. I am constantly receiving the “sorry, no profiles to show” screen and im just kinda over it. They should add more filters (like OKcupid). I really wanted to contact the people I messaged but it is not possible in this app. I wish I could get my money back.

Not sure what’s going on with this app. I’ve encountered so many issues with this app. First of all, you pretty much have to pay to do anything. If you don’t pay, here’s what You get: 1) You can only see blurred pics of the ppl who liked you. 2) When you get messages, you can’t read any of them; however, I’ve randomly been able to open 1-2 on sporadic days. Not sure if this is a glitch. Some days the profiles are blurred and others times not blurred, but still can’t message them. 3) I was able to check profiles sent my way for 2 days. Now, it’s just a blank white canvas. I can’t swipe on anybody bc no one appears. My friend is paying and it seems things o KU work if you pay. Not sure what the main difference is between this and most other free apps like Bumble, Tinder, Hinge... If the quality of ppl is better then sure; but no one knows that. It’s just been 1wk and I’m not impressed enough to pay yet. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Needs a lot of work. I’m not sure what the real purpose of this app is. It seems their primary focus is getting users to pay for a membership instead of delivering a quality product. I’ve had a lot of issues using this app. Glitches Glitches Glitches. They also limit free users so much that it defeats the point of it supposedly being a dating app. There’s little to no way to connect with people unless they put their social media account on their profile. Free users can’t view messages unless they pay for a membership. The only thing free users can do is swipe for people but can’t actually connect with anyone on the app. I also don’t like the app shows me users from all over the world. Why would I want to potentially date Jose in Brazil and I’m in the US? Not to mention, all of the trouble you go through during the process of getting invited, being verified etc. just to finally join and the quality of men on the app (looks and interest) is Ehh at best. It’s not worth it. The app needs work. Suggestions: market to more people so there’s a diverse board group of people, fix glitches, allow more free access to features (you can still promote membership without limiting all features), allow users the option to search for ppl in their own area.

Yes it stinks that you’re here, but this is the best one. This is the most comprehensive and user-tunable dating app out there, at least in the opinion of this experienced (unfortunately) dating app user. I’ve tried most of them, and while you do have to earn the way or pay for an upgraded membership, the features and ways to connect are great. Bottom line- I’ve had the greatest number and the best dates as a result of this app over all of the others. For that reason, 5 stars because I think it’s in the first class of the dating app category

Good. Good but needs some work before becoming great. Especially the free version. - It is a manual job to find out who sent you messages, then change the screen, browse through dozens of people, and the click on the same person to see the messages…. - Also, let’s say you are chatting with someone. And they sent you two new messages. In the messages, it will say “person xyz sent you 235 messages”, instead of the 2 new messages, making ut confusibg with people that had only old messages.

Women probably don’t expect to pay for this app. I signed up and invited some friends to register to unlock some features but I suspect that the women I’ve messaged can’t see my messages. The app shows if a particular user has recruited other users. I’ve never seen more than one other user on a woman's profile confirming my hypothesis. I do think the growth model is clever but maybe they need to make it more attractive for women to engage more with the app first.

Been stuck on the waiting list for almost a month. This “app” gets a star for the nicely-designed logo. Downloader beware. I wanted to try this app because it promised “it’s not like Tinder” and man oh man it’s absolutely not like Tinder. Not in a good way though. At least I get matches on Tinder. I couldn’t even get approved on Inner Circle. I’ve been stuck on the waiting list for a little under a month which is way less time compared to the persons who wrote other reviews (ex. One poor soul has been on the waiting list for two months and counting). Read the other reviews. Apparently the fees per month are very high. In summary, this sounds like an app for wealthy shallow elitists who you’ll never match with.

You can't do anything if you don't pay. This app just doesn't make sense. The free version basically doesn't let you do nothing beside creating a profile and liking/rejecting other people. But then you can't read messages that are sent to you, can't see who likes you, can't write to anyone... It just doesn't make any sense and is quite useless IMO. The concept is just flawed and it shows how the purpose is definitely not about helping people finding matches. Plus, you can find similar profiles on other apps... Update (response to developers): oh I did! I actually paid for a month to see what it was all about. And yes, you do get decent profiles from time to time (like in many apps). But my issue is not there. The problem is that I don't understand why if you don't pay, you can't do NOTHING basically. And that it's not worth paying quite a bit for the minimum that you'd get for free on other apps. Not to mention that the friends you must invite in order to be able to read your messages, are themselves able to see likes and messages, but you cannot! How does it make sense, I still don't know...

Loathe this app and it’s shady practices. UPDATE: I stand by what I said. It’s your choice to ignore and deflect customer feedback and continue on with subpar/deceptive UX. But I’m not gonna let you manipulate my comment as “she was dumb and didn’t understand that there would be a charge and/or know how to cancel things” I want all users to know that your charging practices are highly deceptive compared to other apps on the market. And if it’s so easy as you claim, how come I’m being prompted to pay AGAIN in order to use the app even thought you’ve already auto renewed me till March? I detest your company and wish you failure ———————————————— Genuinely hate this app/company. very deceptive charges and confusing to stop auto renewal. Tried to delete app but discovered I was on the hook for another three months so I got back to using the app and they want to charge me AGAIN. Also the quality of people aren’t great 🤷🏻‍♀️

Terrible app, terrible customer service. This is my first review ever, I don’t write them but felt so inclined for this app- Created a profile and quickly realized I can’t do anything but swipe unless I pay $40 for a membership. I emailed customer service to make sure this was correct (Or if I was doing something wrong). She said you either have to pay or get two friends to sign up and then you can access the app. OR! She said I can come here and write a good review and she would give me 2 months free Told her how can I write something good when I haven’t even been able to use the app? She said she would give me 2 weeks free to try it out. I logged back in and she didn’t give me two weeks free- I still was unable to do anything on the app except swipe on people (and if we matched I couldn’t view their profiles, see their messages, etc). I told her to just delete my profile bc this was getting annoying. She said sure and assured me it was deleted and removed from the site. I double checked last night- it’s still up there. In the meantime I tried to hide my profile and make it “inactive” - nope, you can’t even do that without paying for a membership. This app is terrible and not worth it. All I want is my profile removed from this terrible site! Guessing they are so desperate to act like the have users? Honestly, don’t waste your time. Plus it’s probably the same guys as all the other apps- and those apps are so much easier to use.

App is not worth it. I really wanted to try this app because a friend recommended it but honestly from the time of downloading it and having to wait to be approved plus not being able to read my messages it’s really ridiculous. On top of that having to refer friends to be able to read my messages it’s awkward.! Update: so this is the response I get “"Hi Emjayy77, the reason that we ask you to invite your friends (definitely no 'must'), is because we really like to create an 'inner circle' on our dating app of mutual friends an likeminded people. And besides, isn't it fun searching for the love of your life, together with your single friend!" No it’s not fun telling your friends you’re dating online, I go out with my friends on the weekends that’s good enough. On top of that I’m really annoyed because although I got accepted I cannot see my messages or likes or anything and my friend that recommended me said she was able to read messages and everything right away so what’s the deal! Plus there’s no cute guys and it always rotated through the same guys!! Ughh back to tinder!

Bull crap. This is some bull crap.. if you have no single friend to invite.. or anyone looking like yourself.. they will just keep reviewing you.. so you never get to use it. So there for.. you are left with nothing but ... judgment.. because out of all your friends your single, not looking for a one night stand, a FWB or what ever else there is.. you left with another app.. and nothing else.. so .. if your a group of single friends who can help you get into this.. then it’s your app to troll people who are looking for another trolls looking for .. the same crap.. in stead.. of people who are looking for real connection.

Do NOT join this app!. First of all, I only joined to help a friend who wanted to get this for free and it requires 2 sign ups for that. Once I did I thought i’d give it a try. I was annoyed by the fact that men I did not “vet” in any way were able to contact me I started getting random guys contacting me on FB and creepy things like that. If I didn’t respond to you on this app, why do you think i’d want to hear from you on another platform. This lack of security was only made worse when after I cancelled my subscription, I was charged $40 the following week. I now have to deal with disputing this but so far have been charged $50 to be stalked by random weirdos. This app is 100% not worth it.

New-school OKC/POF. Fellas, if you’ve ever used dating apps in the days where you had to send out 200 messages to 200 different women just to get maybe one or two responses and no dates..that’s what this is. To be fair, the talent is solid and the app is well made. But unless you’re in the top tier of attractiveness, you’re better off using “swipe to match” apps where at least there’s an ankling of a chance that the girl you message will have been interested. Based off the numbers, the odds of average to above average dudes getting a return on (time) investment are very low.

LGBTQ??. I tried this app for all of five minutes. First of all the city I live in isn't even an option and I live in a very quickly growing and popular city. The most disappointing thing though?! There is no option to select my sexual orientation! The app just assumed I'm straight and wouldn't let me change that. These two things plus the fact that I was "approved" in under 48 hours, but other people have been waiting for over two months makes me question their selection process. I signed in using Facebook, it's no secret what city I live in and that I'm gay.

I enjoy the UXi. User-friendly app for sure. I enjoy all the features available. Especially being able to change your city at any time. And maybe once more people join, they’ll integrate your specific location and not just major cities. Wish I would have jumped on sooner before the pandemic to check out one of the events they host.

Don’t waste your time and money. I gave it a shot, knowing that it is a fairly new app in the dating scene. Definitely not enough people on the site yet. Either there are a lot of bots, or once someone creates the account, they don’t get back on.I paid for premium access, but it’s not worth it. Within 50 miles of where I live, in Houston, Texas, there is all but 28 users. Anytime I check who is online, there might be one or two users. That’s about it. When I reached out to customer support, they said they cannot offer a refund, because it is through Apple. Half the time, notifications don’t show up, and within my first week of using the app, I ran into about six or seven fake profiles. I have much better luck on Bumble, Tinder, or dare I say it, POF. This seems like a great concept, I love you for someone like me, he works 14 hours a day, and doesn’t have time to go out. What they promise, isn’t at all there. The site is lacking, and it needs major improvements to be up to par with other dating sites.

Good quality people. I really like this app because the people are high quality. The filter mechanisms are great and I like the option of being able to look at matches in other cities. One recommendation I would have would be to include more cities in the list. Otherwise, I really like the app when I’m in big cities.

Unusable for unpaid users. You can’t make any progress unless you pay a membership or refer friends. There needs to be something users can do if they don’t want to pay $9.99 or more a month besides sending a heart to someone and not being able to read their message. Plus I had to put that I was in an area 45 minutes away because instead of typing your city, there’s a finite number you can choose from. I assume the app is useful when purchased, but I think every app like this needs to have some initial time for the user to decide if it’s worth it. The payment plan, too, isn’t reasonable. $20/month, $14/3 months, or $10/6 months. They should have a trial period and/or an option to pay, for example, $5 for your first month on the app and then go from there. I bet there’s a lot of people who skipped out on this app, just like me, because they’re forced to pay to have a benefit. This is a review from someone who did not purchase the app (for those that don’t wish to waste their time downloading if they don’t want to pay).

This app really should come with a trial. The problem is NOT paying for an app if it delivers what it claims it can do but wasting money to figure out if can actually deliver. There is zero communication on the free level. I’ve seen endless profiles that suggest to the people viewing their bio to find other means of contacting them because they don’t use IC. The more I search this empty space, the more I believe that if I pay, I’ll be paying to send messages that no one can see (which I could have done with my money still in my pocket). In theory, the site seems promising. However, if this were reddit, *AITA* for making 2 of my friends join this based on my word. Now I look silly for this baseless recommendation 🥴🥴🥴

So far so good!. I have only accessed the free version and I do like the set up and the fact that I can choose which city to have my search (which is great for traveling!). I’ve tried Hinge and Bumble and I am seeing a different selection of people on Inner Circle! It’s seems as if they have a good amount of people on the app. I like that they vet your profile before you are allowed to use the app. I am looking forward to seeing how I like it with the full membership, which gives access to likes and messages received.

No melanin here.. I was curious to see if this was diverse. I am a black woman and I prefer to date black man, but like to keep my options open as I am looking for something real. When I scroll through the preview images I don’t see any faces of color in for me that’s a problem on a dating app. I’ve been on the waitlist over a month, I look in the mirror every day and know I’m attractive (fine as hell actually) and I have a great paying job (although I did not put that on my profile because of privacy concerns). In all of my pictures I present myself class as I do in my real life, but nothing. Anyway, I’m over this app. I just have a feeling that if you are a person of color, you are not on this app. I could be wrong, but probably not.

Refreshing new app. A friend of mine recommended I join this site so I downloaded the app and started filling out my profile. Everything is straightforward and you can list all of your requirements that you are looking for. The only complaint I have is that I wish that the location of some of the people you meet is more specific than just “San Francisco” or “San Jose”. They even have a lot of events that hopefully will be able to start up again soon.

Too $$$. Too many fake profiles and transients.. ONE STAR ALL THE WAY!!! This is no better than bumble, match, hinge or most “free” dating apps. Except tinder. Everyone is better than Tinder. Lol! Same amount of fake profiles with flaky ppl. In fact there are too many transient ppl contacting you for a “free” drink in the city! Yeah right! Also this is way too expensive compared to other dating apps. You need to pay to read YOUR OWN messages! WHAT APP DOES THAT! LOL! And you CANNOT get your money back when you cancel. You have to keep the subscription until what you pay for has ended. I DONT THINK SO! YOU NEED TO CHANGE THIS REFUND POLICY!

NOT WORTH IT!. I rarely make time to write reviews but this app is so bad, its justified. I’ve been waiting for 4 days and haven’t been approved. I’ve invited friends. I’ve filled every inch of my profile and I still can’t get pass the first screen. My friend who did get verified couldn’t read her messages until she payed or invited friends. When she finally ‘unlocked’ the feature by inviting some friends, she could see some messages but couldn’t reply. After reading some of the reviews and my short experience with it, I will be closing my account because the app is just not worth the hassle. It seems there is no way to enjoy this app at all unless you pay and apparently even after you pay it’s still not better than some of FREE available options out there. I get the “exclusivity” thing but this is just ridiculous. If you want my money, make a decent app that is worth paying for.

If you’re going to do online dating, join The Inner Circle. I’ve tried quite a few dating apps throughout the years and think that IC is one of the better ones. It’s broad feature set, coupled with a friendly and an appealing design, facilitates many ways of connecting to people— whether it’s over travel, desired activities or “liking” each other. There’s also a lot less fake accounts than what I’ve seen on other dating apps. IC does a good job identifying mutual interests which is super helpful when you’re messaging a stranger on the internet :)

Wish I Would Have Read The Reviews. I’ve never used a dating app, but the exclusivity was a draw - at least I would know everyone in the community is gainfully employed and likely a notch above the rest in looks. While this did seem to be true after flipping through a few profiles, I find it ridiculous that there is no way to contact others on the app without a membership (or referring 2 friends to app before you have even used it). Dating apps are literally and exclusively meant to connect people, but they put up a pay wall right before you could actually make a connection, it just doesn’t make any sense! If it is a paid app, just say so from the get go so I’d know to expect it.

Easy to use and definitely worth it. I have used the other top dating apps, and this one is one of the best I have seen. It has unique features like trips and travel that make a new and unique way of meeting new friends and people. I am glad that I came across the app. I like their verification process as well, which if you’ve tried the others - not everyone is who you would like to meet. From what I have seen so far it is definitely worth it. The only thing I would improve was the photo uploading process, I would like to be able to crop the photos if needed when uploading to my profile. Other than that I love it and look forward to using it. Thanks!

This site is a scam. Don’t bother, it’s a scam. It took me a while to remember what this was. They have to approve you first to be able to use the site. I’ve been on their waiting list for months. Today I got an email regarding “I’m sorry you’re have issues with your password again. Click on this link to reset your password”. I went ahead and reset my password and notified them that I never had use for the app and it wasn’t me that requested the password reset. I also requested for them to delete my account and they’ll delete all of my information. When I tried to delete my account, I still have the page that says “waiting for approval “. How in the world were they able to request a password reset, when I haven’t been approved for an account yet. I logged in through FB the first time I tried this app and then again today, because when I try to create an account with my email, it tells me that “you must be a member to login “.

Still pending. I’ve been pending access for almost a month now. If they base it on how you look as another person suggested (they were approved in under 24 hours), the same should’ve been said for me. Yet I have no access. I do not need to get my friends to join in order to meet someone. There’s a reason why I haven’t dated my friends friends, I want to meet someone that doesn’t know anyone I know and I feel like I’m being forced to make my fiends add this app in order to see what’s out there. So far I’m not happy with this app and SOMEONE SUGGESTED IT TO ME! It would be nice to know why I haven’t been given access. And it seems that you do not accept people of color, such a shame in this day and age.

Better than most. Was never into dating apps as most of them seemed more like people looking to hook up. Inner circle requires verification which also helps with fake profiles. My friend recently got engaged and met her boyfriend on here. So i thought I’d give it a shot. Not necessarily looking for a relationship but i figured I might make friends along the way So far I’ve met some cool people and only matched with people I’ve connected with. Easy to use too!

Give It a Shot. Decided to give this app a try since my brother found his significant other on here and they’ve been together three years strong and counting! While although there aren’t many options to interact with people without paying, to Inner Circle’s point, it’s not too expensive per month if you sign up for 3+ months, and it helps to weed out those who aren’t serious!

Underwhelming selection, undeletable profile. Tried this out for a week or two, and was underwhelmed across-the-board: selection, interesting-ness of members, quality of profiles or conversations started. I deleted my account shortly after... or thought I did. A couple weeks later, I get a message that says I should sign onto my account b/c I’ve gotten X many views and X many winks. Are you serious? This is my worst nightmare- to have have open dating profiles and be totally unaware. This could be very problematic for people in so many different ways! I wrote to customer service, and it took nearly a week to hear back. Their response was a canned here-are-the-instructions-for-deleting-your-account response. Um, thanks IC. After further back and forth they assured me they deleted it, but my confidence in their customer service and platform is pretty shot at this point, and I wouldn’t be surprised if I heard from a friend that they saw me on there in two years.

Disappointed. I had several issues with this app. First, there are very little options for free users. I couldn’t even read messages sent to me unless I either paid for a membership or added friends to the site. Why would I want to add friends to a dating site? I don’t even want to be on dating sites tbh! I’m not going to torture my friends! Second, only certain cities are listed..so the app will list you as living in a city that is over an hour away from your real city if that is the closest city on their list of cities. This makes finding close matches confusing. There is a map option that lets you see the area the people were last in so you can kind of figure out if they are nearby but you don’t see that till after you open their profile. The people don’t seem any different from people on any other apps. I put off adding this app for a while because I don’t use LinkedIn and I don’t list my job on Facebook (I’m a teacher so it’s just not a good idea). I figured I wouldn’t get approved because how would they check that I had really been to college or had a career? There was no way they could have checked since it’s not on my Facebook...but I still got approved in less than an hour so I’m not sure anyone is really vetted all that well.

Better than any other dating apps. IC is better than other dating apps. First of all, I travel a lot and live half of my time in another country. People on IC seem to have more international mind and for me it’s easier to talk to. I can talk to many topics on business, travel, philosophy as well as casual chat. Never attended any social gathering but once this COVID is over, I would like to attend those. I highly recommend this apps if you are sick of single minded serial daters on other apps.

Best dating app. Inner Circle is head and shoulders above all other dating apps. There aren’t silly games to play with memes. It is clean and simple, easy to navigate, and the selection seems to be much higher quality men. I haven’t found “the one” yet…hoping they expand to more markets so it is easier to meet in more rural areas. That’s my only complaint:)

Game-changer!. As a former skeptic of dating apps, I feel that The Inner Circle apps seems promising and will be a game-changer for me on the dating scene. I like the idea of having members pre-screened for professionals. Definitely saves me from investing a significant amount of time and effort toward sifting through hundreds of profiles in a hunt for professionals. Also, support team member Susie was very helpful when I had questions. So far, so good!

They are open to hear your thoughts and improvements. Give it a shot. Definitely, it’s a improvement in the app dating scene. I am very skeptical off dating apps, but I decided to surrender, it’s not just a trend, it’s our reality, we liking or not. As any new app, still room for improvement, growing and more diversity, but they created a good foundation. I am waiting on they add curvy to body description for example. Instead of complaining, let’s help they make a better app for all of us, or for the next that will be using it. I read complains about having to add two friends to have access to reading your messages, does anyone forget about those apps out there that you need to wait for matching to be able to talk? Or any social media that you recommend fort our friends and you don’t t get none in return? If we have to deal with dating apps, let’s help making a better one.

F your ghetto app!!!. This app is terrible. Along with the fact that it's near impossible to upload and crop/center a pic- it crashes constantly. Also, you are able to communicate with matches for free, unfortunately the app doesn't sent you a notification when you get a message from a match and they are in a diff part of the app than other messages. I matched with a bunch of guys, they messaged me, I responded, haven't heard back. Either those profiles are fake or the guys don't get adequate notification they have a message. Too bad so sad for inner circle but I won't be wasting any more of my time on this app!

They are helpful and open to hear your feedback. Really good app. I’m able to specify my settings and able to meet guys from around my area. Which is a really important feature for me. I had a problem once with the app and they were really helpful. Replied to me in 24 - 48 hours (which is really fast) and they helped me right away. I love that they want to hear users opinions so they can use it positively to improve our experience while using the app. Would definetly recommend it!

Scam alert, now to proceed legal action. I am a software engineering manager. I was approved in minutes but, upon approval I found most of the users to be scammers asking for money and to log into phishing websites (which the company states they handpick people for the site which certainly is not the case) This app is a complete scam and definitely read their privacy policy. I have contacted my attorney as well to look it over for any violations. I don’t even trust their customer service (if it is a real person with a response) I highly recommend everyone to NEVER use this app. I have also recommended to the Bay Area tech companies that I work with to not use the service as well, as they will be scammed. I am thinking about also contacting Apple to have the app removed since I know some of the engineering managers there as well. Even customer support had a poor response, "We understand that there may be scammers but, we do our best to ensure a great pool as we hand pick them" It seems this company is very deceptive and I will also be watching my bank statement and looking to make sure most of my data has been deleted from their locations. A company full of scammers that seek to steal money from professional people like myself.

Membership isn't worth the waste of time and effort. There is nothing I like less than wasting my time. And that makes Inner Circle not liked at all. After almost two years, I've recommended Inner Circle to a few friends of mine, but it was NOT because I recommend this app. It was only to be able to read and respond to messages I had from other members. I didn't care if they were potentially going to have success, because I sure wasn't and wasn't enjoying the misery the app put me through just to even use the app at all. After I had no ability to log into my account, because they are so bad with allowing members to even have that ability, I still had a full membership that they didn't even let me use because of their Toxic policies on memberships. If you only have access to a mobile device and not a computer, do not use this app. Not all of us sit at a computer all day. If they remove your mobile device access, for any stupid reason, like they did to me for over 8 months, and you still have full memberships, you're completely screwed and don't bother trying to get those memberships back, whether you paid for them or recommended friends. They won't care and they will screw you, just like they screwed me. I don't recommend this app.

IC is BS. There’s a plethora of dating apps out there - but IC’s differentiator - abandoning “come one come all” for exclusivity based on subjective terms such as “Inner Circle” and “High Quality” a strategy that no doubt fosters a culture inherently prone to isms - class, race, religion, age and otherwise. It’ll be hidden as all isms are under the guise of “cultural fit” or fear mongering. There was a giant that started this way “Uber” - rife with good ol’ boy frat like culture - I would hope the folks at IC don’t repeat that mistake. There’s nothing more classy or high quality about this app than it’s title and tag line - both which read hollow. In a world of come one come all dating apps, IC is exclusively BS - I’ll take my chances at the apps up the way; there’s no line, mostly free and full of millions of interesting people inside.

Garbage. The interface is clunky. It rejected 8-10 photos that were essentially headshots of my face because they “weren’t clear enough”. These were high resolution pictures from expensive pro grade cameras, so... when it rejected a photo it wouldn’t let you delete the rejected photo, you had to upload enough new pictures to knock the old ones off, so every time one gets rejected you have to upload 5 to knock it off. I applied 6-8 months ago and just remembered and checked and haven’t gotten any response. I’m assuming this is because i refuse to advertise you to my friends to hurry up the approval process. I would never date someone who would do that either so I’m out.

Fine for the metro crowd, otherwise...... Sadly my experience after signing up was that there is absolutely no women around me. You have to be in the city, and I mean in the city, not even nearby. Not a fault of the app, which is actually well designed, but more a failure to do thorough research on my part before paying for the service. You’re better off with Bumble or Tinder if you’re out in the country. Another $120 wasted on my search for love!

Paid to use the app then told I have to pay more to see messages. The charging structure is quite confusing, as I paid to begin interacting, but continue to find additional requests for payment once I started. This is frustrating and doesn’t allow me to trust the app as it appears to continually gauge the customer rather than be clear with a once off fee. I’ve since deactivated my account and won’t be back

Terrible user interface. It is so difficult to know who sent you a message, you have to individually go onto profiles then go into the message history and see if they are the person who caused the notification. For a app that revolves around conversation and communication why on earth would this simple function not be easier

Sneaky marketing.. I downloaded the app as I was curious after my housemate mentioned it. I didn’t get an invite so this seems to be where I missed out on the freebies! The only way you seem to be able to connect with people you like and go message was to upgrade. I found the wording on the offers very sneaky. For the 6 month package the way I interpreted it was that the price was for a 6 month contract on a monthly auto renewal, just as it says believing I’d be deducted that monthly amount each month but NO, it was deducted up front. Now I’m stuck with 6 months of this for $150 that I did not want. Very sly! I will not be recommending this app.

Rubbish App. I signed up about two weeks ago. They don’t let me use the app as they state that they screen everybody before they allow use. I would think that I should have been screened and allowed to use the app within two weeks. I feel like they took my info on false pretences. Apple you should screen the apps you allow on you site.

Great Experience. Joined up a few weeks ago, yes there was a bit of a wait, but so worth it! This is so different from other dating sites. Great dating app. I decided to give this a try as I am new to online dating. It has great easy to use features and would recommend to anyone who wants to start online dating.

$$$. The ap won’t let you use many of its features unless you pay or invite friends. I can’t see whose winking at me and I can only read one message that’s been sent to me because the others are locked. I’m not going to invite my friends to this because 1. I don’t have enough single friends and 2. I don’t want them to have to pay $30 a month to use a crappy app that has the same people that are on tinder or bumble. I’m gonna pass on this ap and delete it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am so frustrated with this app and the way my complaints have been handled. Payment options are miscommunicated, I think intentionally, where you get charged for the full period immediately. Also, unless you have “vip” membership you still can only do limited things. Emails have not been responded to and they will not refund me (yet), I think they are dragging it out as long as they can. Stay away. App and management are just awful.

So far, so good!. The caliber of people on this is high and I would wager that it’s because it invites and applauds authenticity. There is definitely a well mannered and respectful vibe coming from the members and I like the way it matches your likes and shared interests. Give it a go!

Quality profiles and good support. I’m new to the online dating world but so far compared with then others, IC has far better quality of profiles, and easy user experience and fantastic support team who are friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!

Gotta pay for everything. Like the title says. Had the app for a few minutes and realised it’s just a ploy to get people to sign up an pay. You can’t do anything unless you pay or invite friends? (How desperate do you think I am?!) I wouldn’t be against paying if I could have had the option to just check it out for free for a little while or have limited access, but no access?! Most other apps are free and at least give you the basics to get started right away, you’re better off going somewhere else for now. Good concept though!

App barely functions - do not bother. Some feedback for the creators of this app. Feels like it was made by total noobs. The UX is terrible. Sign up process incredibly painful. Photos take ages to upload and crash the app even though they were just normal photos from my phone and I was using NBN WiFi. It’s SUPER expensive with no free trial. You apparently register friends to unlock premium features but nothing happens. Slowest functionality I’ve ever encountered in an app.

Not worth the $$. Complete waste of time - profiles are no better (if not worse..) than the standard Bumble or Tinder profiles and you have to pay to view anyone to start. So not worth the money or the effort.

Bad service. I’ve been sign up and waiting for approval since November. I thought it’ll be a good and safer app but they put me under review then no response from tho authority. Very poor customer service. I’m really disappointed with them though I’ve completed 90% of my profile.

What a joke. I’ve noticed a few reviews here saying they’ve just recently joined and how great it is - just wait. You’ll hit a random 7 weeks and all of a sudden you’ve got to pay to be able do anything on the app and that means you can’t do anything unless you do. Usually you get free trials for a week or a month but 7 weeks?! Where did that come from and where was my warning? Then I read the inner circles response to another reviewer that said “you’ve got to make a commitment to meet the one ;)” - haha what a joke! $50 for a month? An absolute rort. What exactly does this site do that others don’t that you think you can charge that? Not to mention I’ve noticed the price is different depending on whether you’re on the app or the mobile site. All of this is shady, sneaky and devious just to get their hands on your money with minimal in return. I’m happy to not meet “the one” through this ridiculous dating site!

Could be better. I completely understand one of your objectives is to get new members to join the inner circle. However, I feel an obligation to invite friends (singles) or pay to check my new messages, so I lost my interest in to continue using this app frequently. Your platform is easy to understand and I love the idea about events you make to meet with new people.

Quick support and customer service. I was totally new to dating app. Signed up for a trial few weeks back, I liked the interface and its features. It took a couple of days to approve and my profile was on. I had some subscriptions issue (well I am a newbie) and contacted admin through email. The response was quick, in less than 24 hrs I got a reply and issue addressed and solved. It was quite assuring to know that there is a human attending to the mailbox other than bots!

Useless unless you pay. I had high hopes for this app but not only is it a much smaller selection of the profiles on Bumble, they are rejigged and recycled to make it appear as if there are new listings. And you can’t really make any contact unless you pay. I referred a friend who signed up, no additional access. Scam.

Easy to use. I find the app really straight forward and easy to use and I’m looking forward to The Inner Circle holding events in my city, hopefully one day soon!

MZ. This a best dating app I’ve ever used, easy to use and plenty of ppl to connect with. I’ve connected to some amazing ppl here, I would definitely recommend inner circle for a quality dating app.

Not good. I really didn’t like it. This app lets anyone on the app message you; it isn’t a match service. Even if you put in filters, other people can message you. There isn’t anything ‘elite’ etc. about it. Anyone can sign up, as long as they are willing to pay the exorbitant fees for the service. If you’re not paying, you aren’t able to see half the app, and can essentially only message and receive messages from people. It also, despite only signing up for a single month payment, continues to charge you monthly.

Approved quickly. While I was able to get my profile set up and active very quickly , I’m finding myself unable to use a lot of features without paying. I’ve seen responses on here (by developers) good quality doesn’t come cheap ect. But how can I know it’s worth investing in without being able to experience it. The most annoying thing at the moment is being unable to get rid of notification bubbles because I can’t view who viewed me

Great app. This app has great features and even allows you to ask people an open question which helps you find people with similar interests and makes it a bit easier as tinder is mostly based on photos and not much else. I had to change my date of birth the night of making my account as I had it different on fb, for security reasons. I emailed the team and Jenny responded to me almost immediately and fixed my problem. That to me says a lot about their service and the team! The only downside is you do need to pay to use this service but they do sometimes allow a trial which is a good way to find out if they app is suitable for you!

Unimpressed. I signed up for this platform a month ago. I was still on the waiting list. After 3 weeks I emailed the support team to request an ETA on my profile and they could not give me an answer for ‘individual applications’ even though I was the direct applicant. They also specified that they ‘maintain the right balance of people... based on age, gender and profession’ Waiting a month before even being able to use the platform is ridiculous. I have since cancelled my application. And based on the costs of using the app too it seems like I dodged a bullet anyway

Great customer support. As soon as I had an issue and contacted customer support, they replied back straight away and solved my problem. On top of that they have me some freebies and have been in contact all the time to make sure my query has been sorted. I agree they have to work on their marketing and comms, but if you contact them and explain the situation they are willing to help. Tbh, it’s my first time using any dating apps or sites so it’s really hard for me to say if this one is better or worse than others, but the only thing I would say is that the people I’ve met so far are pretty formal and serious, not people looking for a one night thing, something I’ve heard happens often in other online places. So far, I’m happy with the app and specially the amazing customer service.

Poor value. Very limited opportunities to connect & communicate unless you pay for premium, which is overpriced. Based on months of experience as both a paid subscriber, free member, and gaining access to features through inviting multiple friends, it seems that the majority of profiles are only there for show... i.e. most are not able to see the key information (likes, messages etc) that could lead to positive results for the user. Of course these features are restricted to drive revenue for the developer. OK sure, but the high pricing leads to only a small number of effective members who can actually communicate, so it’s generally a frustrating experience trying to connect. A review of pricing Vs features would likely lead to an improved user experience, better engagement, member & revenue growth.

Highest quality singles I’ve ever seen!. I’ve been on a few dating sites and this is easily the highest quality selection of females I’ve seen.

Facebook integration broken. A joke of an app at the moment. I couldn’t even link a Facebook account to upload photos. The app just flashes a red banner with error message I can’t even read because it disappears in half a second. Tried deleting the app in Facebook and approving again. No luck. To developers. If you want to follow the model of Zoosk and charge for messaging (and you shouldn’t, because you don’t have a trustworthy brand like Zoosk yet) make sure you stuff works (and it doesn’t, which doesn’t add any trust points). I’ll stick to OKC, thanks.

Equality. What amazes me about online dating today is that it’s still primarily men who have to initiate a connection. This flies in the face of what the world seems to be striving for which is equality between the sexes. Why? However even when one does try to establish an intelligent connection and conversation it too often falls off a cliff before it manages to reach first base ie coffee or drink. The shopifcation of human interaction and connection has left a sour taste in my mouth. I grew up in an era where people weren’t measured by their profile but by their energy and essence. The online world has really blocked what would otherwise naturally occur through a conversation and in person encounter. It seems like we’re got more to loose now with technology than we did in a more analog age, where people would take more of a chance rather than measuring each other. Anyhow believe it or not I still have an open mind and heart.

Taking money out of peoples accounts after they have deleted their inner circle account. Hi I tried the 1 month free promotion you had on then I deleted my account once that trial was up I saw on my bank account statement that you took money out for the next month even though I don’t have an account any more. There does not seem to be a way to contact you about this so I thought I’d do it through this review. Please refund my money.

Absolute rubbish. It is not user friendly at all. It only allows you to select your nearest capital city, not where you actually live. It does not tell you that you need full membership (PAID) before you can actually talk to anybody - very misleading! I would give this one a kiss for sure and stick to the other, better known apps that actually work.

Waiting List is terrible. This app takes you nowhere fast. You have to be wait listed but you can get approved faster if you invite friends to join which is stupid. The site is a rejection before you even get a chance to try it. It’s a big statement that they think this will replace tinder, very poor.

More than just a dating site. I found this site to be one of the best that I’ve been on, it has a great social aspect to it and is also a great way of finding out where to go in your city or while travelling it and there customer service is personal and prompt. I’d highly recommend this app

A refreshingly fun and easy dating app. I'm really enjoying the easy simplicity of this app - no 24 hour clock to message someone back, no swiping for days to find someone you like. Just an easy to scroll list of potential matches. I also really like the feature where you can see who's viewed your profile. And I also like that the same feature applies to you! It really makes you think before you click on someone's profile too many times. I also appreciate how they app doesn't block you from messaging someone even if they haven't 'matched' with you yet. It would be nice if you were able to see who's viewed you - even with a free membership - but overall, it's a great app for being able to scope out the whole playing field without having to commit to a membership first. I'd recommend it to my friends to try.

Different from the other apps. The more in-depth profile options and details certainly gives it a better experience than most other apps. This could be a good option for the more mature person!

Really disappointing. Seriously - please update your location options. I live in the capitol city of B.C. (we’re not a backwater...) and yet the only option is to be tagged as being in Vancouver (which is not remotely close enough to foster a possible relationship). Which means that everyone else comes up as Vancouver and I have no idea whether they are also being forced into Vancouver as a tag, or whether they may actually be in Victoria. So I basically ‘ex’d’ everyone, because all of them came up as a solid 2-3 hours away from where I live. Way better apps out there that also don’t require you to pay for the pure basics.

almost a scam. All the other apps provide as good social options without being directly charged to your credit card. Stay away. Update: Got a response from the developer ( after they automatically charged 60 bucks a month without informing you or going through apple subscriptions) that was arrogant, including a winky face to rub it in. Not only are they deceptive but they enjoy the process. researching Circle Imperium B.V. as we speak.

Excellent customer service. Just join the app, and the approuval of my profile was pretty fast. Got already many likes and messages. You see the quality on the profiles. Had an answer and got a response within 24 hours. Looking foward to meet nice persons.

How to get rid of your account. To delete your account, go in settings in facebook and go in “paramètres du compte” then “ security” then “apps and websites” then delete the app. That way they won’t have access to your personnal information anymore. They will keep the information they collected, but they can’t get the future information that you will post.

So what happens when all your friends are married?. This “get approved faster! get your friends to sign up” doesn’t work when you’re the only single one. Part of the reason we online date is because everyone we know is married and so are all their other friends. So what happens to these users??

It never verifies my photo so I didn't use it:(. It's been over a month since I'm on this app I verify my face to confirm it's me so I can use it but it never replays back to me so I never used it because they need proof for me to enter the inner circle app. It's been a disappointing experience for me.

Developer avoiding questions. Its funny how the developer is avoiding questions about the ridiculous time for awaiting for approval! Very deceiving! And quite frankly feels like a scam.

Excellent app - Amazing service!!. This app blows all the other apps out of the water when it comes to how it actually works, the number of people active on there and the fact that you can move from city to city as you wish - a must have for frequent travelers trying to meet new people! Definitely recommend downloading it and using it, it’s way better than anything out there!

In the inner circle. It’s a interesting concept. I’ve been on the site a few times and had one friend sign up. Looking to test out some of the other features moving forward. Like the concept of meeting at events in real time, now for events to be planned in my city.

Terrible. Same men on repeat. When you get messages you either have to pay to see them or hook your friends in. Waste of time. It’s a no go for me.

No response from help team. Signed up and spent a chunk of time putting together my profile. Was really looking forward to using the app! It said my profile was being reviewed and they’d get back to me soon. Checked back the next day, same thing. Week later, same thing. Two weeks later, still “under review” and no contact or updates. I decide to reach out to inquire 1-what’s taking so long and 2-can I do anything to expedite the process? Absolutely no reply. Checked back three days later and it now says there’s no profile associated with my email!! Not only a sucky experience but also creepy and alarming to have put all this info about me into my profile and just have it disappear to who knows where!! Would 100% not recommend.

Stick to hinge!. Absolutely not worth it. Got in immediately, I’m quite a catch and I might be a bit picky but literally NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE on the app for it to even be interesting. They have every right to choose the ppl on the app, but it’s waaaay to expensive for what it is. It’s not about the money, it’s just insulting to pay for and end up with very little options! The app is impossible to use without making at least a 50$ payment! I’m sticking to Hinge. I would’ve gladly gave that 100$ I just ridiculously spent on that app to the local crackhead! 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Great app. Inner circle does a wonderful job of matching like minded people. Their matching algorithm is stellar. Highly recommend it.

It’s fun to use. Just started using the app. As I travel for work and also vacation often, I like the option of posting the cities I’m attending. So far lots of traffic and good responses. I’m enjoying this over the other basic apps.

What is this app?. Apparently this app is for attractive, successful working people, and select people with high potential. Supposedly everyone here is a “7” or up. I don’t see it, it honestly just seems like the same pool of people from Tinder and other dating apps, except this one locks messages behind a paywall, and has a smaller user base.

2 years to verify?!?!. October 2017 I signed up and was made a member in December 2019! I could hardly recall I had even signed up. And what’s this about curated singles?! Yeah right. Contacted support and seems there is only a single person working - not paying attention to the content of emails sent, some answers seem to be a copy paste. The worst is that between reply’s there might be days... currently awaiting an answer of the issue since Monday morning with no luck. Definitely stay away from this app.

Not worth it.. This app won’t let you make your own profile (to keep your private life private), it MUST be linked to another social such as Facebook or LinkedIn. On top of that, you can’t get anywhere in the app without inviting friends. I don’t want to do that, and I shouldn’t have to. This gets a zero from me.

Main photo. There are plenty or photos that show my face clearly, but the app is refusing to let me save them as my main photo. Even though, these photos were previously used as my profile photo. Please fix this!

This app doesn’t work. I have signed up, filled out my profile, only to be told “it’s in review”....two weeks later I’m deleting it since I can’t use it. Waste of time.

Face recognition is terrible. I took a picture of myself, uploaded it, didn’t move from the spot I was in and it said unrecognized. So ridiculous.

Con. Paid for the minimum sign up and they took the cost of VIP membership off my card after a month without even so much as a notification. So now I have to go through the arduous task of contacting their support to get my money back.

Best community. Great app that goes leaps beyond the traditional swipe-right boredom. Besides the usual matching tools, the events, trips and sports discovery aspects make this community really useful for nomadic creatives.

Just another ordinary dating app. Not impressed, in fact disappointed. Most people doesn’t even have a written profile, which is a bummer because a decent dating app should have a structured questionnaire to gather enough key words to “match” people in a more effective way. Their database is also very small . I have my settings open to 42y and up and with two days using the app for a few minutes I already ran out of matches ! Overall a total waist of my $, that is unfortunately not refundable.

What horribly socially unaware person created the change my message feature?. Don’t download this app. Why, the fact that they’d launch a feature that changes your message because they think it’s not long or creative enough without asking you shows how little they know about dating and it violates all form of privacy and control that I want as a user. If I could give this negative 10 stars I would.

Does not allow for anything but straight people. I downloaded this app for a friend so she could take advantage of the premium features for getting a friend on board. Little did I know that it doesn’t allow you to actually set your sexual orientation. I’m a bisexual female and it just assumes I’m straight and doesn’t let me choose otherwise. If you’re not looking for just straight guys, this app is completely useless. Huge waste of time. I don’t get offended easily, but seriously? Not inclusive AT ALL.

Not good at all. There’s really no valid reason for paying to use the basic functions of an app. So I can currently message users I match with but I can’t view or respond to their message without either paying for premium features or getting other users to sign up for the app. I successfully did so in the past and after reactivating my account I have to go through the whole ordeal again just so I can read and reply to messages with current matches. That’s so dumb

Not active app - waste of time. Waiting for approval for over 1 yr!!! I’m a fit young 30s ,attractive lady in NYC with a great job. I’ve even got an invite to the app from a friend already on it. Posted quite a few pictures, connected my LinkedIn account. Completed my profile, used clean language and still this app won’t approve me and has kept me on waitlist for over a year. Had no issues getting on The League and Raya. This app is DEAD!

Tired of hook ups? This might be the app for you!. If you’re tired of guys hitting and quitting and is after a more serious match, Inner Circle just might be the app you’re looking for. Forcing people to connect using Facebook or Linkdn reduces those ‘here for a good time’ profile quote a lot and so far all my matches have been quite funny and sweet guys. Where’s my vaccine? It’s time for some dates!

Waiting for 7 months. I’ve been on the waiting list for 7 months now. Two of my friends just applied yesterday and got in same day. I tried to email to find out more information but got a very generic response, and a congratulations your on the waiting list! Guess what, I’ve been on the waiting list since the summer and I will no longer be sharing this app with anyone, and even if I get *selected* I will never use such an elitist and discriminatory app

So far, so good. I like the way this app is presented and has a fairly easy to use format. I know many complain about the cost but to me that means that people willing to pay that type of money is more serious than those on the more common “free” apps!

Seems to be different. I kept seeing ads for this app, and decided to download it. The process to complete a profile didn’t take a long time, but I liked the simplicity of the questions you’re asked to fill out. Looking forward to seeing if it will yield any results!

Don’t get a membership. If you do pay money for this app, you will never be able to cancel. It’s absurdly difficult to get in touch with anyone who works there and if you do manage to with a request to cancel a paid membership, the support reps will lie to you and not actually cancel your membership - this is what happened to me. I request to end my membership and Jacqueline (who allegedly works for Inner Circle) had “confirmed” my membership was cancelled in March 2018, BUT I check my bank statement and have been charged monthly for the past 4 months! I’ve since followed back up with Jacqueline to get a refund for the money they are stealing from me and have yet to hear back from anyone. This app does not work and is a complete scam. Word to the wise: DO NOT PAY FOR THIS because you will never be able to cancel....

Awesome App. This app has genuine accounts and i am really liking the way the app ui is built. It is convenient and easy to use. App support is very fast and responsive. I would recommend this app to those who are tired of filtering fake accounts on other dating apps.

Worse than its contemporaries. I can’t leave a proper review, because I waited for two or three weeks for my profile to be approved. This never happened. I wrote them about it, of course, as surely a person can be verified, even if they don’t do social media (something other apps have figured out). If you’re looking to download a dating app, I would recommend you waste your time elsewhere.

Inner circle. I have used this app for quite awhile and it always has quality members especially compared to other apps. Also the service is great always a quick response and very helpful.

Useless unless you pay. Seems like a cool concept, but there's no real way to try this app without having to pay upfront, u can't even respond to winks or messages and every visit is a blur. It's pretty new so not sure if it's worth the money or not, after registering a friend supposedly you can get slightly more functionality but that hasn't happened to me yet. Didn't care enough to try.

Better than most. In a world of dating apps where you have no idea if your “like” has actually even reached the person, this one is a breath of fresh air. Yes, you have to pay but isn’t it worth it rather than mindlessly swiping daily with no clue if it’s worth the effort? Definitely give this a shot!

Clean and easy interface with quality singles. One of the better apps in the dating genre in terms of interface and quality of singles. No ads and clutters. I think the invite your friend instead of purchase membership for certain features is a fair trade off. Invited 2 friends so far, both gave good feedback.

Have to pay before being able to really use. Not a fan of having to pay for a membership before being able to experience the features of the app. I get paying for certain features like seeing people who liked you or additional likes but not being able to see messages without paying was a turn off.

Crap. This app makes you think you’re sifting through the weirdos, but it actually only let’s you browse based on major metropolitan areas. For instance, i live in orange county and it makes me choose los angeles as my location, even though that’s 40 miles away / 1.5 hrs. Also, they make you sign up for a full membership (paid) or sign up two friends to view messages. No real perceivable value in this app in contrast to the others out there that let you use them for free.

Fun app. I like the way the app asks you to describe yourself in as many ways as you choose. I find that many of the people on the app are career oriented and also looking to enjoy life. It’s a fun way to learn about local spots to go with friends as well. I think it does a good job of finding a match who shares mutual interests as you whether for a romantic relationship or just friends. It’s worth trying.

Only paid members get access to messages ?. Being able to access your messages is such a basic feature to so many dating apps. Not sure how they plan to do well with no free access to the messages unless you invite friends?!! You’re not dating with your friends they shouldn’t have to be on the same app as you. What if you are the last single One of your friends ?? More thought needs to be put into this clearly.

Dating Apps. Absolutely love this new dating app. It has beautiful people with one goal in mind and that is to find someone great to add as part of their life. It’s easy to use and navigate and certainly takes the stress out of swiping.

Update has bugs!. The newest update to this app has a major bug in it. When I open the app, the first screen (the search/profiles screen) is blank and I can’t adjust searches etc until I click the “like” or “dislike button twice. So I have just liked or disliked two profiles that cannot see (the screen is blank!). After this, I can then adjust search criteria etc and profiles become visible again. Please fix this!

Paid for service but no full access. I’ve been on the site for a few months now. It’s quite expensive to say the least, however, my assumption with paying more meant that there would be more quality. The other issue I have is that they took the payment for my full access this month, but I do not have full access. At this point I rather cancel due to the lack of quality and screening of profiles and for the difficulty in trying to cancel your subscription or request a refund.

Strong online dating app. I am new to the dating scene and have been playing around with the online dating scene for around a year. I’ve noticed the people that I have talked to and met using Inner Circle have been higher quality people with real substance. Still haven’t found my princess but am more hopeful.

Awful!. There’s no point to this app. It’s basically like Facebook. Any guy can message you regardless of if you matched or not! AND you can’t get your messages unless you pay or get a friend to sign up too. It’s like a weird pyramid scheme. Plus, I don’t find the guys aren’t anymore special than on Bumble except here, they can send you messages even if you don’t like them. I had it less than 6 hours when I decided to delete because of all the unwanted messages.

This is a joke.. I applied for it around two months ago and my profile is still being reviewed. Why do you think you are so important that people will wait for it? And from the other reviews, once you are approved, if you don’t spend money, nothing will happen. After putting many pics it says it still can’t verify my picture. Good luck with it, you will def need it 🤮

Shame. Good idea but shady business. Got on to and was charged $10 for full access, then another $40 with no explanation whatsoever. A week free was certainly a lie. It would be one thing if they made the payments and schedules clear, you claim you have smart business people on the app and can't even get it together yourselves? I'd say that's fault number one. And then being on it? I couldn't say it's that much different than any other dating app, and maybe even questionable how everyone is "screened" onto it. No thanks.

Great idea, poor execution and lack of people. The features seem nice and set up to look like success but that is hardly the case. Mostly bots on here which is disappointing as I had paid for a better experience. Lack of customer assurance led me to delete it and when they offered to give another free month to keep it, I did and they ended up still charging me. I don’t mind paying but if I do I expect better quality and filtering of bots. The inner circle must be a reference to one of Dante’s inferno experiences, complete insanity.

Do not give them your card info!. They are very unclear about what they're going to change and when. I was charged $10 to gain full access then immediately billed $40 without my consent or understanding of why. I emailed them because there is no customer support number and was emailed back with a "too bad so sad response". Shady hidden fees, bad customer support, no contact number. Not worth the hassle of claiming fraud on your card and having to get a new one.

Shady company - will charge you hidden fees. As a consumer, I don't mind spending money if a product has quality but one thing I can't stand is when companies try to scam their customers. When I signed up it said $10 for membership but had no information if that is monthly, yearly.... turns out it's $10 a week but they intentionally made that part not only vague but difficult to find if you look for it. Any company that uses these shady practices is not the kind of companies I want to use so I'm deleting for lack of transparency.

Can’t message for free - USELESS. You either have to pay or awkwardly ask your friends to get on the app too. Dating is a private thing that I don’t really want to drag my friends into. And I’m not going to pay when there’s 1 million other apps out there. You really should let me message for a week or whatever first so that if I do need to recommend it to my friends, I can actually recommend something. I have nothing to recommend, so I won’t.

Disappointed.. I don’t like that it wants me to recruit others before I can read my messages inbox. Not only does it make me dislike the app, but it makes me want to not refer my friends. Why would I want to refer my friends to an app if I don’t like that app in the first place? I much prefer CMB, Bumble, Hinge. Why? Because on those apps I can get a lot of matches and messages and I can read the messages they send me. I can get lots of dates on those apps. I can manually filter out the matches whose profiles aren’t impressive enough for a date.

This is a good one!. It has a classy interface and easy to use. I do like the filter set up ad well as the fun questions that are use to help you match to others on the app. Be prepared to invite a few other singles and you can unlock some features you’d have to pay for. Overall good experience with the app. Customer service has been very responsive.

Don’t want to pay for money. Make it free like Facebook. I don’t like being on a app that you have to pay for money on. If you make a website or app that free you will get more ratings and we will be so happy. Telling you right now I’m disappointed in this right now so right now I’m going to give you a 1 star till I see some update where we have to pay for anything on here then I will give you a 5 stars not going to use this till its updated and make it better ok. Great app but with some bugs. This app is great. Best app I’ve used so far. However I have to log in again every time I close and reopen so please fix that. Congrats for the interface and interesting features such taste breakers, open questions and profile viewer. Keep going and iterating. Few notes: Please remove the loading images. They are beautiful but the app take too much time to load and crashes often. Would be nice see a feature such musical matches where you select someone while listening their music theme (Tinder just added that and it’s very unique and relevant)

Great app!. Inner circle does a much better job than other dating apps: more selective about members, so you won’t get fake profiles or scammers on here. There’s also a diverse and international user base, which I found very helpful. Ice breakers and q&a make it easier to spark a convo. Definitely worth a try!

Good Browsing Options. Definitely worth giving a shot, nice features and nice option of being able to initiate a convo. Can filter by “nearby” matches, which is also a plus. Seems more similar to Ok Cupid than the other apps, and allows you to view profiles pretty well. 4 out 5!

Very sleazy subscription practices. Signed up for $10 with a mention of a monthly subscription, I read nothing about it being being only one week long. 7 days later was billed $40 through PayPal (they don't allow subscriptions through the app) for the following month. There was no mention at all of the amount that I could see. And since you’re required to pay them directly you aren’t able to cancel it through iTunes.

Love this app.. I’ve been on 3 dating sites for the past couple years and this one is my favorite. I really like the quality of women on IC! There are a lot to chose from in my area as well. I use the function that allows you to communicate with people that are or will be visiting your area too. And the app points out others that have the same birthday as well which provides commonality on the initial conversations with these individuals. I just turned another friend in to this site and he loves it as well. And finally whenever I have questions the support staff is pretty quick in responding. Keep up the good work IC!

Totally useless. I get that apps like this need to expand their user base but this is quite ridiculous. The app forces you to spam your friends with invites (and they HAVE to register) or pony up the money up front. This is unlike all other apps I've used, so no. Without trying it and seeing the quality of interactions on your network I refuse to come down to your brilliant "marketing" strategy. You know the other apps do what they do for a reason 😏

Worth trying. Although you have to pay to see messages, they give you the option to register two friends and they give you a month free. In my opinion, they have great options other than just dating, like fun places people recommend in cities around the world. They do a good job of hand selecting the candidates as well.

Recommended. High quality people.. seems to be mostly professionals and many with creative interests. The Inner Circle is intuitive to use.. It's easy to get started, I began having conversations in my first 24 hours.

Profile approval takes weeks!. Posted my profile 4weeks ago. It won’t let me in the app until it’s approved, it’s still not and I contacted support, they said it’s approved I’m just in the line to be added to the app. It’s a long line! Be prepared to wait. A lot! The developer appears to have refreshed my account. And now it’s been days, again, and nothing. It doesn’t work. Download bumble. Can’t tell you if the actual app is good or not. You can’t get past the first step.

Waiting. Can I give this zero stars? I waited to be approved within 48 hours for 3 months. Not worth it. I guess you need to meet some financial elitist status to be allowed on the site. That would explain why the charges everyone keeps complaining about keeps going up. Only allow wealthy people in, they won't care if they get charged twice or more than the agreement. I'm not really certain how the screening process is done, but it is done poorly if at all. Don't waste your time. Try the organic method and talk to real people in the wild.

Great connections. This app is great at keeping a quality community of users in comparison to other dating apps. Other apps seem to have “bad apples” that ruin experiences for other users. IC does a pretty good job at screening new users to keep the app solid

Disappointed: not even close to what was offered. As many of you I am giving a trial to dating app to find that special one. I have use several app and this is by far the worst: they do not deliver what is offered. The suggested matches have no relation with what I was looking for: there were random matches. Also no customer service to complain about the service. I tried to get a refund few days after using the app and nothing. Think twice before getting this one.

A let down. I’ve been a member of this website since 2016. A friend from London invited me. They said it was like A Small World (which I have also been a member of since 2009) Now I downloaded the app and it said my profile is “awaiting approval” and asked me to invite more of my friends? It’s a pretty big glitch in the app and I would suggest you don’t download it until your contact the people at the Inner Circle to make sure they won’t delete your account.

Why didn’t I read the reviews before I got it?!. I’m mad at the company and at the same time mad at myself for not reading the reviews first. I tried the app, I paid initial $10 and then $40, unfortunately it didn’t really work for me. After maybe a month I stopped using the app and forgot about it. Then I was cleaning up my phone and canceled my account, but was still charged $60. All my emails to support never got any response. Absolutely horrible experience!
