My KP meds. With the new update, I can’t sign in for some reason . I can sign in to My doctor on line but not this one. Need help!

Difficult to Order. This app is incredibly difficult to do the most basic functions. I was prescribed medications but the doctor did not give any explanation of how I would receive the prescriptions. I downloaded the app but am unable to even request them. I called the help number and they only put 2 of the 3 medications through the system for me, so now I have to call again. Incredibly frustrating and now it’s been almost a week without the medications I need. So disappointed in the medical care that I am paying for. I am planning on changing insurance to use any other facility at this rate.

Don't like changes to tracking medication. With the new kp app, I can no longer register a "true" time when I take the medication. In the previous version, if I was scheduled to take a medication at 730pm, but actually took it at 8pm, I could record the actual time that she took the medication. It appears that the updated app only allows the user to record an on time or earlier dosage. I prefer the earlier version for recording medication taken as it is more accurate.

This Kaiser App is very easy to use. I had no problems ordering prescriptions and having the prescriptions filled at the nearest Kaiser pharmacy and I’m 82. When the prescriptions were ready the pharmacy sent me a message on my cellphone. This Kaiser App is excellent and is very easy to use unlike the main Kaiser Health App. I’m puzzled how Kaiser Permanente can produce an excellent “new” App like this Med App and then produce such a bad App in Kaiser’s main health App. I’ve been a Kaiser member for fifty five years and I thought the old main Health App wasn’t that bad once you got used to it. To replace the old App with a brand new App was a mistake just like Ford’s Edsel car.

Kind of Useless. I downloaded this thinking it would do something useful, such as allow me to use it to automatically refill prescriptions. But instead it just tells you when to take your meds. Perhaps I'm wrong but wouldn't someone helpless enough to need someone to tell them when to take their medication likely also be unable to use something as complex as this phone app? The first thing it did when I opened it was take me to a pop up window in Safari to register with microscopic print, so I was pretty much done there.

Problem with chat. Tried to chat with pharmacy on iPhone 12, but the “Start Chat” button is hidden below the print banner at the bottom of the page, and can’t be accessed. Tried to slide it up, but it doesn’t stay visible. Please fix.

Hate new updated app! Loved old one!!. I LOVED the older version of this KP Meds app. It was so easy to use. I could record exact times meds taken. I could do more with the reminders. It was easy to use & I was so impressed with it, especially compared to other medication reminder apps. Then this last update happened... now it's awful! Please go back. Can I go back to the old version somehow on my phone? Just go back to the old version & add the ability to see my other family members' meds to the older version & then add an option to see what med I am being reminded to take when my phone is still locked. Please!

Second Daily Notification Doesn’t Work. I take one of my medications twice daily. I have my iPhone’s “Do Not Disturb” functionality set for 9:00 pm. My second medication reminder is set for 8:00 pm. I hear an audible notification for the first dose of the day. But the app doesn’t chime audibly for the second dose of the day unless I turn off “Do Not Disturb.“ I still see a screen notification for each scheduled dose, but don’t get an audible reminder for the second one.

Doesn’t work for me. Very poorly written app and zero instructions. Example: It has a setting to take the med daily, weekly or monthly. Not 3 x daily or every 8 hours. So you set the first reminder .. no save button? Oh, it’s the cryptic “s..e” at the top. It becomes Reminder 1. For the second reminder, you add the number of hours, it becomes Reminder 1 and the first one becomes #2. No further reminders are permitted. I’m better off writing the times of my two meds on a bit of paper. Deleted the app.

Works well once you figure it out. I am a post-surgical patient with many new meds and a few old ones to organize. The app preloads all your KP prescriptions and you can key in more ( look for the + at the top of the prescriptions page). You can make a custom schedule for each drug, you don’t have to use the precoded time increments. The app seems to be unknown to most KP staff so they are offering no training or any real user help (except bugs). They should put out a brochure or build instructions into the app.

10 Star Must have app. I was prescribed 2 different antibiotics that were to be taken for 10 days at different intervals. This app reminded me separately on time for each medication. It also allows you to review history. I can’t express my gratitude enough to the developer and Kaiser for this app. Keep up the fantastic work.

Buggy?. I've been using this app for over 5 years. For the last 6 months or so, I receive a notification multiple times a day that there are updates to medications. It is always the same notification and always the same medications (with no updates), or when trying to log in to clear the notification I receive an error concerning the server, or the app won't log me in at all. I have tried dismissing the information and acknowledging the information; I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I continue to receive this notification. I have spoken with the provider and the pharmacy. No one has a resolution. Please fix this issue.

Great time saver. Love it

KP Meds. This is the best medication tracking log I have ever seen.

Review. Unit work fairly well, but issues with loading and issues with syncing with test unit is troublesome,

Latest update - big problems. First of all, the latest update completely deleted all of my medication reminders. I had to recreate my entire reminder schedule. Major fail! This issue seems to have disappeared, but in case someone else has it: sometimes I have to fully sign in to mark medications I have taken rather than being able to mark something as taken without fully signing in?

Meds daily. It makes sense & easy to follow!

Medication Reminders. The reminders are very helpful. The APP continues to remind until I check off that I took my dose…

Good for medication reminders. It works well for medication reminders for regular usage of the app

Won’t let me edit medication reminders. All I wanted to do was change my medication reminder from 9 am to 7 pm. Even though I changed the schedule the app still reminds me at 9 am in addition to 7 pm. It’s honestly ridiculous that this app won’t let you actually modify reminders. I’ve tried editing the 9 am reminder to 7pm, I’ve deleted the 9 am reminder and created a new one for 7pm. Regardless of what I do, the 9 am reminder always pops back up in addition to the 7 pm reminder.

Most of the time KP meds is a good reminder for me.. Occasionally it doesn't record that I took my med , even though I get a message thanking me for taking the med. This is indicated by subsequent reminders to take the med. This even happens the following day.

I ALWAYS forgot morning meds!. This new reminder thing is terrific because now I take all my meds!! When I’m supposed to. Whoever came up with this, THANK YOU!🙋‍♀️

Clumsy interface. Another Kaiser design by an engineer instead of a designer, one that has obviously never had a single user test since it would take no more than one 20-minute test to reveal all its deficiencies. Problems: • You can add notes, but can't see them when reordering. • The notes remain well-hidden at all times, cutting off their use as an easy way to identify what the drug is for, e. g., your blood pressure med, your cholesterol med. This info, of course, should be associated with each drug by Kaiser, but, until Kaiser figures that out, having a short note that appears in lists could really help. • You can "archive" drugs and supplies, but they still show up right in line in the reorder list, helping to ensure you'll buy drugs you're not supposed to be taking. It may be a good idea to show them, as it is not clear how you can un-archive something, but they should appear on a second list that follows the first, with a clear "Archive" label separating the two groups. • They show you brand name equivalents when you're idly reviewing your meds, but not when you're reordering. At that point, you are required to have memorized the long Latin name. Having to switch to Safari to work out which drug is which can make reordering on the device slower than using a laptop or desktop.

Buggy, recent updates are a regression. This used to be a decent and useful app. But recent updates have made it annoying and frustrating to use. Does not enter times when Meds are taken accurately and always shows them taken at the scheduled time. If taken even a minute early, the app still beeps alerts at the original scheduled time. Completely unable to enter "taken" a day early for meds scheduled on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly schedule. Version 2 was a decent app. Version 3 is not. After repeated contact, tech support has proven to be unresponsive to these issues.

1/3 Effective. This app is great when it works, however it only works about 1/5 of the time. On iOS 10.2 it constantly crashes, and when it does work it will only respond to touch once every 60 seconds, at best. And I have never been able to get The function of re-ordering medications to work; it always times out.

Needs improvement. You have to always sign in. When I wake up at 4:30am to take a pill that is just too much work. It's nice having easy access right to my prescribed meds and fairly nice settings. However, I take pills 7xs a day. I can't be bothered with signing in that many times. Also, no option for if you take 1/2 a pill. They could at least have it so you can mark pills & see history without signing in. Really disappointed. I wanted a pill reminder from Kaiser and thought they would get exactly what we need. Guess not.

Recovering from trip and fall. Helps me remember to take my meds. Easy to change when there is a change from doctor. Good luck with your recovery. Hang in there. It is worth it.

If you need help…. The current “most helpful “ review is 4 years old and says there’s no documentation or instructions. That may have been true, but is not now. There are clear instructions for use in the Guide, available at the bottom of the menu. And the app is actually pretty intuitive to use, so you may not even need to consult the Guide.

Complete joke of an app. So I go to refill my prescription and add it to my cart and apparently all the pharmacies in a 50 mile radius of my location have magically now disappeared. Who do you have writing these apps for you?? Circus clowns, or is still Kaiser saving money on not refilling prescriptions for anyone since you can’t fill anything due to no pharmacies being available for pickup?

Doesn’t work as well as it used to!. Having to sign in is a hassle when all you want to do is report that you took your meds. Sometimes it doesn’t load. When I have a procedure scheduled I the medication gets loaded into the app. Because the medication is new (just for the procedure, not for home), I have to sign in and then it takes time to update. I’m thinking of deleting it.

Unmanipulative. I can’t get rid of my drug reminders

Request an Apple Watch option, please!. I love this app!! Love the medication info, the reminders and the ability to refill prescriptions. The only thing I would add is the ability to say I've taken the Meds to the Apple Watch. I get the reminder on the Apple Watch, but have to use the iPhone to say I've taken it.

App has glitches. I never can order my refills with this app. It’s useless and such a waste of time. It’s easier to call the pharmacy or use the websites. Whenever I order by app I won’t receive my order and has to call them again and usually miss 5-7 days of my medication dose and a headache of calling them back and be in the line forever to fix it.

Great job on this app. I find this app convenient especially after my surgery when I didn’t know my meds and needed the reminder and the knowledge of what meds to take - thank you Kaiser

Please Fix Refill Support. This app does work better than the previous Kaiser app for refills. However, I take seven different prescriptions every day, and they all need to be refilled at different times. Please fix the refill reminders ”feature.” This is nothing more than a reminder I could just set up on my phone. You need to enter your own date and text into blank fields. The app doesn't connect with your actual prescriptions, or when they are actually available to refill AT ALL! The refill date is based on when the order gets filled by the dramatist, so a simple date reminder is totally useless. Please fix this as it would really help simplify my life, and make sure never forgot to refill a prescription again.

Worst app ever!. This app has so many usability issues I dread using it! Here's today's gripes: 1) when refilling prescriptions and you have a long list of medications to scroll through, after adding a medication to the cart, it *helpfully* scrolls you back to the top of the list , so you have to scroll through the entire list to add the second, and again to add the third. I often have 6+ medications to add and this takes forever. 2) when adding a credit card, if you accidentally end the first or last name with a space, if errors when you try to submit, but it won't let you scroll back up to fix (or even see the error), forcing you to cancel the order and start over (see point above). If this weren't literally a life and death situation, I wouldn't bother with this app.

I’m glad KP had this. I use this to manage my father’s medications it is very helpful.

Needs iPad support. In addition to working poorly on my iPhone SE on the latest software update, the app does not support native iPad functionality. The app could really use work. Also, the other KP app supports online prescription ordering and is user friendly, but there is no way to remove the annoying footer while ordering that references this app as though it were actually easier to use in the iPhone aspect ratio. Overall sloppy and unintuitive. Likely to use a laptop browser or phone call next time.

App improvements. The app worked well but needs some fixes. 1. I could not print the confirmation for tax records. 2. When I select the shipping method I would like to know when to expect the meds so I can change my mind and pick up the meds at the pharmacy if I do not have enough on hand. 3. I already have card information on my phone under apple pay. Is it possible to have your app access that data?

Figured it out. Works well, even lets you opt to take later or confirm that you did. I hope they will add reminders to refill your medication. So far the app is very helpful. Thank you!

Such an inconvenience. This is the second time that the app said that there was an issue with submitting my request, and to try again. If the issue still persist, then contact the pharmacy. It never allowed me to try again because I was put into a loop. I went to the website and saw that the order was successfully submitted. I went back to the app to check recent orders. It says, we are unable to show the status of your recent orders. Such an inconvenience. Why do I even have this app if it doesn’t properly serve the one main function that it’s supposed to.

Great app, needs better tutorial. Having just gone through surgery, And needing to track new meds, I never anticipated finding one from Kaiser! This app, however, needs a better tutorial. If you're tracking pain meds, which are usually prescribed "as needed" with the suggestion of say "every 4 to 6 hours" it takes a few tries to figure out just how to set that up. I really like that when I enter my user ID and password, the database is already populated with my prescribed medications. A good app that is worth exploring further.

Good start but falls short. It cannot handle half my meds for reminders. I like the concept, but honestly, those of us who need reminder apps the most need more than a few reminders. We need MANY reminders. Triple your reminder ability. No, better, quadruple it. Or 10x as many. Otherwise your app is useless for many of us. Also your app does not show all of my prescriptions claiming I no longer take some of them. Those meds are on my Med list and I do take them. There is clearly a bug somewhere.

Frustrating App!. I keep trying to delete some of my OTC meds. I can’t find any way to eliminate them from my list of meds. I try archiving them and delete them from the schedule and they pop up the next day. I tried deleting this app and starting over. But on reload and logging in again all my old meds appear again. I think I’ll give this app a rest for awhile. It’s making my blood pressure go up.

Accounting manager. There is nothing to say

This App is great to manage my family’s meds. This App gives me nice options to create alerts to remind me to take my meds on time. If I forget to take some meds, there is always a list of history to check which ones I missed. Another nice thing is this App helps me to easily track my child’s meds. Every med his Kaiser doctor prescribed is downloaded and shown clearly in this App. It’s a great App from Kaiser to help us manage the meds for the whole family!

This app should make refilling easier. I saw this app promoted in Kaiser as something that would make refilling easier, but when I downloaded it I was saddened to see that this is primarily a medication reminder app. There is a tiny hidden link that takes you into a lackluster refill experience, but that experience should be more prominent and given more love.

Love the ease of this app.. Love how easy the app makes it easy for me to set up medication reminders, record and keep track of when I took my medication as well as refill my medication.

Meds Info/Drug Interactions. I really like KP My Meds. It just lacks complete info on every medication and would be nice to have a n app, like WebMD, that displays drug interactions minor or major.

Return to the older version. In this new version there is not way to indicate I have taken the medication before the schedule time. It leaves it to my memory to mark it once the schedule notifications pops up. Kaiser needs to return the active schedule to the app so it can be marked as taken before the scheduled time. And since this version is dependent on connectivity, you can’t record when you take meds when Kaiser servers aren’t responding.

Functional but hard to use. The sign-on mechanism doesn’t work with password managers (have to key in manually) and doesn’t support biometrics. And the process of ordering refills is pretty nonintuitive. But once you figure it out it can do the job.

Love this app. This app is great for reminding me to take my meds on time. I love how my doctor's prescriptions automatically appear in the app once I log in. Fantastic!

Why make a separate app?. It blows my mind that a healthcare company that claims integration and technology would make a separate app for medications. Why not integrate into the main app? So stupid.

Forget it if you don’t have latest/greatest tech. Only the newest version is supported. If you choose to be environment-friendly and not upgrade your tech to chase every great new idea this won’t work for you. Seems discriminatory toward disadvantaged and elders who may not be able to upgrade too.

Help Guide. I'm trying to update / make a change something on a schedule and it isn't easy. An updated Use guide would be very helpful. I have been a member for a long time and glad to see the app available.

Login design is terrible. Typewriter overlays login fields on both iPhone and iPad. For those who manage complicated passwords using a third party password manager the Paste function appears to be disabled in the login Password field.

Unable to log in. I have never been able to log in to this app, it always says that it is experiencing difficulties and to try again later. Additionally disallowing the pasting of passwords discourages the use of secure passwords (via password management programs) disallowing the pasting of passwords encourages shorter and easier to remember and type passwords.

Looks great!. Love that I don't have to sign in when I get a reminder. Nice to be able to refill as well!

Not user friendly. There is a lot of real work to be done here on this app as it does relate to the health and well being of clients to be managed. It as stated above is not easily managed. And it should be!

Pretty Awesome! But.... I just came across this app by chance and I am pretty impressed! Go Kaiser Permanente! This app allows me to enter my Over-the-Counter Meds, so I have a complete electronic list of all my Meds. I can email or print or pull it up when asked. I love that feature! I can also enter notes or archive Meds I'm no longer taking. Totally awesome! However, I'm giving this 4, not 5 stars, because guess what? ... My doctor will not see anything I've entered!?!?! What? Why not? Too busy? Well maybe a pharmacist, or nurse could review it so my Med List in HealthConnect, the EMR, could be updated and accurate. I've always felt a bit frustrated with the Med List that the physician uses during a clinic visit. It contains drugs that were ordered for 7 or 10 days (like an antibiotic or cold/flu med) that I haven't taken in 2 years! Why are they still showing there? Why not move them to the Historical Meds list? I think it's best practice for that list to show ALL the prescribed and over-the-counter Meds. I take aspirin daily as a prevention measure for stroke or heart attacks. Well I had surgery today and guess what? Aspirin was NOT on the list the hospital staff pulled up! Pretty important information if you're having surgery, right? Fortunately I had shared the info with my surgeon, so all went well. And using the App just now, I entered notes on the pain med my surgeon ordered for me today. It's causing me nervousness, anxiousness and insomnia (it's 4:30 AM right now and I'm still awake!). Is that information going to be part of my medical record? Apparently not because it said my doctor wouldn't see the info I entered. Bottom line? Great app for you to keep track of your Meds. Just don't expect it to be part of you medical record or to interface with the Med list you doctor sees. My advice? Bring it with you to all encounters with your healthcare provider/s and share the info with them in person.

Nice reminder. This is a great reminder I just wish it would give one the option of setting up reminder for every other day as well as daily.

New version is great!. Love that refills are available. Easy new user interface. Great app!

Great idea but lots of bugs. Scheduling taking the meds is a little clumsy and the alerts notification does not always work even when the app is left open.

no landscape orientation.... The fact this app does not orient to landscape mode makes it unusable for me. Okay, it’s useable but too frustrating for me to try and use.

Nice app. Nice new look to the app. Love the fact that I don't have to sign in every time to record my meds.

Have Continual “Could Not Connect to Server” Issues. The app repeatedly does not connect to server at login. This is becoming an increasing problem.

Half-hour time increments?. I have a paid app to remind me to take my medications. I found this app & thought it could replace the other. I just want my morning meds scheduled for 7:45 am. But I can only set them for 8:00 or 7:30??? Come on, KP. Do better. Single-minute increments are mot unreasonable.

Not good for med log. Every day when I log having taken my medications, that’s all I want to do is update the log. After I do that I have to wait two or three minutes for the next login screen to finish; otherwise I get notifications that I haven’t taken my medications which is not correct. Please let me log when I take medications without bothering me any further. Currently this app is a big waste of time for logging meds.

Does not work on my iOS 7.1 phone. When I open it displays the splash screen and the hides the app immediately

Doesn't work. Can't log-in. Been trying to log in for a week. Doesn't work. Says there's an error at this time or something like that.

Close but NO. I take several medications 2 or 3 times a day. This app deletes the 1st instance when you create the 2nd. I’m going to delete the app now.

Very helpful app. The app is very helpful to me track my meds.

Useless. Useless the worst user interface. Can’t find new prescriptions. Horrible user interface. Confusing. Presenting an alphabetical list is totally useless.

Can't sign in because keyboard completely covers form. When you try to sign in, the keyboard slides up and completely obscures the data entry fields, so it's impossible to sign in and use the app. To make matters worse, they're inexplicably using a custom keyboard.

Why does Kaiser need so many apps??. I don’t need different app for everything. I don’t want to have to sign into multiple apps to manage my health.

Bizarre User Interface. Poorly designed executed. Some text doesn’t fit on the screen. Not as useful or organized as other KP apps.

Not ready for prime time yet. No delete option, when trying to schedule same meds multiple times a day the results are inconsistent. More alpha testing with multiple scenarios is required. Not even a good beta yet.

Email. The app no longer allows me to reply to my doctor. The reply icon is greyed out.

Not GOOD! Always having order issues!. It should make things easier, make it worse ! Always order issues and then I had to call to get my refills and wait another day or two! But who care!

Cant Refill Rx. It says i need to update to the most recent version of the app to refill my meds, but i have the mist recent version installed, so it’s useless.

password. Won't let you paste your password. I have a complicating password and I have to go back and forth between the app and my notes to type the characters individually. But when I do that the typed characters disappear. Super annoying.

Blocked. I am being arbitrarily blocked from all my Kaiser Permanente apps for something I may have written. Please erase all my Kaiser apps. I

Kinda broken. Stopped being able to order refills on prescriptions. It used to work several upgrades back. Can see and compose emails to doctors. Can track appointments, but emails do that too. Guess they hit supporting this app.

Utterly useless. You might as well just keep written reminders or a calendar app since the app is unable to automatically tell you what’s eligible for refills or automatically tell you when to refill or automatically remind you when to take your meds since you have to enter all that information into the app manually!

Kaiser needs to find a cure for this APP. VERY USER UNFRIENDLY!!! Impossible to set up correctly for different AM / PM Meds. Not able correct or adjust mistakes APP makes. Don’t waste your time until it is fixed. If you don’t have anger or anxiety issues when you start you will by the time you give up on this APP.

Terrible login. Can't copy-paste login info, it's always required and can't get past screen one.

Doesn’t work. Doesn’t show my prescriptions- or show which ones are ready to be picked up

Can’t login - paste disabled. Paste is disabled on the password field, so I can’t login.

Needs work. No way to record PRN meds. It seems to require that I check twice in order record having taken the med. Not a bad idea but it could use much more development.

Never can sign in. Every time I try to sign in I get a “unable to connect to server, try again later.” I thought it might be my password, so I tried a different password, but then I get the “wrong password” error, so I know my original login attempts were correct.

Needs iOS8 Update. Would love to use this app, but it does not support pasting in the password field. I use very complex passwords for security and this app will not allow the paste function to work. So it's impossible to log in and use unless I create a very simple password.

Refill /Update App. When trying to refill my medication the app tells me I need to update the app. On iPhone App Store I cant update anywhere, or within the app itself. Help! Thank you!!!

Nice App with new features. Love the Refill prescription and Taking my meds without having to sign in..

Can’t connect to server. First the app ignored my schedule changes, and now it just won’t connect. Hasn’t worked right in weeks.

Problems. I cannot even begin to understand the different problems I get just to log in! I get not found or user information wrong when it’s not! Please fix this!

Nice app, too much work to actually use. I'm sure it's some privacy/legal idiocy that makes you sign in every time use it, but unfortunately it makes the app so labor intensive that you won't use it. Maybe the developers will use the apple touch id api to store your encrypted password in the keychain and unlock it with a fingerprint?

Not reminding. Very unhappy and disappointed about this app, expected KP to have something much better. The app is not reminding me when I switch time zones - which happens a lot to me.

Stopped working. Stopped giving me reminders for my meds. I can't figure out how to fix it

Why have a separate app?. This is app is similar to my doctor online. Why have both? Nothing new or that you get more detail info. Both of these apps don’t work when you try and find your order status.

App seems nice but crashes. The app is crashing when I’m typing in the drug name to add a new medication.
