Skyscape is an invaluable tool in the field. As a medical doctor currently in Liberia assisting in the West African Ebola outbreak, Skyscape has been an invaluable tool for me. It helps me quickly look up differential diagnoses and treatment plans with ease, which is essential given the breadth of illnesses we see here with minimal lab and treatment options. A unique aspect of Skyscape is that I can access all of this data without the need for the internet, a scarcity where I am currently working. In one instance, we had a patient present with a unique rash that no provider was able to diagnose; using the image bank of a Skyscape dermatology book, we were able to not only diagnose the patient, but also determine a treatment regimen that allowed the patient to stay in country, recover, and return to work. Must Have!!. I wouldn't make it through Nursing School without SkyScape!

Far superior than Omnio!. As the previous reviewer said, I pressed "Update All" and ended up with Omnio unintentionally. I was upset that I couldn't go back to Skyscape but found this app and am so happy with it. Way quicker and easier to use than Omnio. Never going back to Omnio!!!

All of my paid references are gone!. Tonight in the middle of an ER shift all of my paid references disappeared! OMNIO is the new program and everyone I talk to hates it!!!!! Bring back the functional Skyscape Medical Library app (with my references)!

NurseThink. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS!! It is a waste of money because you cannot access everything the way it’s intended to be used. GET THE PHYSICAL TEXTBOOK ONLY BECAUSE IT HAS WHAT YOU NEED!

Great app!. I have been a longtime Skyscape user and love having easy access to the most up to date medical information. New look and features are nice. Also Customer support department is very helpful if you need technical support or have questions.

No access. I use to have access to the clinical calculator and now it keeps asking for a serial number.

Extremely annoyed. The app is required for class and is extremely frustrating. It cost the same amount to buy the materials through the app as it does on the App Store. If you have more than one device that you want to use skyscrape on, forget it. They require you to either buy the resources again or log in and out of each device so only one is using it at a time. I have yet to get this to work properly. Every time that I sign out of the app it freezes up and won't let me sign in again. Leaving me to have to delete the app and reset it online before I can use it again. Biggest waste of $320 for school yet.

A Modern Nurse Must Have. Got automatically updated to the omino app. And it stinks. When I found out that this was available I was so happy ! It's just like to old skyscrape app. Which makes me happy because it's easy to use.

Book is great, app is a good extra. The book is great, came with the submission to the app. Works well when I need to find something quick and don't want to page through the book. Overall a good app to help any medical student

1 license. I used to like this app a lot. I recently got a an iPad and started loading all my clinical references and I could not load anything into skyscape. I did some research and you can only use one device at a time. Every other resource on the planet allows for 2-3 active devices for a license. This is ridiculous! I have to log out of my phone and log into the app on my iPad if I want to use these resources and then log out of the iPad and then log into it on my phone. I'm not sure if these people understand their clientele. But, clinical professionals don't have time to log in and out of devices all the time we need to grab a device that s handy and get the information we need quickly. I wish I could give this app 0 stars. This is truly pitiful.

Keeps crashing!. Just redownloaded 5MCC and it just crashes over and over. Updates!

Reduced functionality. This is NOT the old skyscape. It does not offer the same resources and resources previously purchased are no longer there. Functionality appears more limited as there is little way to save or bookmark areas. I thought this had gone away and replaced by Omnio. Instead it's still around with reduced functionality and Omnio is a confusing mess with little real integration

Great App. I love the ease and availability of information. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the frustration I have with only being able to use it on two devices. It’s so expensive to just be limited to two devices without the ease of being able to switch devices easily.

$200 down the drain. I disregarded previous reviews that indicated lost in-app purchases with updates. I downloaded Skyscape and purchased $200 of resources and used it without a problem for a few weeks. Then I updated the app and lost all of my purchases. I have tried everything to retrieve them with no luck. I reinstalled the app, no luck. I tried to reinstall purchases, no luck, they wanted payment for all of these again. I called the Skyscape hotline for over a week with no human contact, they requested a voicemail with contact info. I has been over a month and I have yet to hear from them. My suggestion would be to try your luck with ePocrates or UpToDate.

Great resource. I'm a nursing student, so I use this app everyday and I love it! My only suggestion is when I'm reading something and there is a word I don't know, I have to go back to the dictionary part of the app and look the word up then go back. If there were some way to highlight the word and define that would be amazing. Other than that I swear by this app!

Disappointed. I thought I was getting an actual copy of the handbook Williams Hematology but this seems nothing like that.

Please update!!. For a few months now the app has been closing out within seconds of opening it. I use this app for my nursing classes and it helps so much. I need it!! The app worked fine last year and now it's not working. I noticed the app hasn't been updated since November.. Maybe that's the problem? please update!! All of the books in the store cost too much to be wasted.

Thank you for listening!. I was so upset that skyscape had discontinued their old app. I had been a costumer since the era of Palm. So happy to see the old interface back! I would have give it 5 stars but and the present time I cannot get my old library. Please fix! I had to create a new different account.

Best med app. I downloaded this app for school project and ever since then I couldn’t live without it. This app has been a tremendous help during nursing school. I can’t get enough of this app, download it! What are you waiting for?

Great App. In the Adverse reaction section, love the highlighted condition’s, informing you, that is a lot more prevalent than the others! Cons: don’t have all the latest drugs..., even when I payed!!

Error while creating account. I couldn’t get past the sign in page

The books talk to eachother. Even though you can have different books written by different publishers installed in your Skyscape app- The Skyscape app makes it so that the different books talk to eachother. Cross-referencing made easy! I can link my diseases books to my drug guide and find all the drugs related to treating the disease!

Travis Barron. This app really does the job. The only complaint that I would have had was that upgrading it can get a little confusing, but if you can download all of the features properly the app couldn't really get much better.

Terrible!. I highly recommend that students and professionals use other available medical and nursing apps. Apps are buggy, service is not good and they have content from old editions.

Does not update. There are some great resources but some are old and do not update.

Like this app - just like the original skyscape app. I used skyscape since my residency and the palm pilot days. Loved easy access to the books I had been trained with. Got automatically updated to Omnio and was furious to find out that my titles were not downloaded. Also the interface has too many steps to do basic stuff. Skyscape's support told me about the availability of this app - got my subscriptions downloaded with the help of the support person. Apparently the company has been split into 2 separate entities and this product is being offered with the original features and some updates. Why couldn;t this be explained somewhere? Oh well... so far so good without any hitch or glitch. Just updated - love the new floating style menu.

Skyscape content and navigation is the best. Was taking notes in Skyscape NurseThink app on Gout and wanted to refresh Treatments. With SmartLink function was able to link to Taber’s Medical Dictionary which I also had and was able to review in 10 seconds. Great functionality in Skyscape app to link between different resources in context allowing me to seamlessly traverse and confirm my clinical findings.

A very reliable app.. I have been using this app since nursing school and still continue to use it at work/clinical setting. It's very reliable and best of all, the developers don't charge much for it. Thanks For making this nursing app available. QA..

Skyscape is back!. Just like the advertisement states, it is just like the old Skyscape, except the color scheme is red instead of blue. This app is very easy to use and I am able to access all of the information that I need without having Internet connection. I was very frustrated when my old Skyscape updated to OMNIO. I could not find anything that I needed and I ended up going to Google to find the answers. This app is extremely helpful in the nursing program and I would recommend it to anybody who needs a fast easy way to find medications or diagnoses. Glad Skyscape is back and here to stay!

Huge Asset in my toolbox!. Been using this app for at least 5-6 years as a REMS remote / international medic in my clinical capacity. It's my go to resource especially since it's nearly fully operational off-line. Wonderful Rx resource.

Ridiculous!!!. Since ios10 update this app is total crap!!! I lose ALL of my resources that I have paid $189 for every single time I open up the app! I am in the middle of my work/clinical looking up meds for patients and it's embarrassing that it's all vanished and I have to reinstall all of them! I do not recommend this app to anybody in the healthcare field.

Great for nurses. I had to purchase this app for school and it is something I used frequently as a student. It is also helpful at work as I now work in intensive care. While I use it less often, it is still a great app.

Registry problems to the MAX!!. I had to purchase this app/software as a requirement for class, and it has been extremely frustrating. Once you get into the information, it's quite helpful. However, GOD FORBID you get a different phone or device, the problems are never-ending if you want to transfer the registry from one device to another. I have had to contact support litterally WEEKLY to get them to get my device registered. Then it will work, then the next week, it will spontaneously unregister itsself. Now, it has shut down the whole account!!! This is not a cheap app...it should work without problems. I'm very tech-savvy, so don't think this is because the old geezer doesn't know how to register an app...quite the opposit! However, this app is completely UNUSABLE when it spontaneously de-registers its self.

Love it!. I have used this app since nursing school, and it's great! I work in Emergency Medicine, and I get new meds ordered by the docs all the time. I go to the "Davis Drug Guide" add-in and read all about it. Then, I use the link tool to go to the "Drug Administration Guide" add-in (same as is in the med room by the Pyxis), to get the rate of administration. Do you have to pay to get the good add-ins; yes. Do you have to pay to update the add-ins; sometimes. But, having ONE place to get all your questions answered, saving time for busy Nurses, Awesome!

Merck Manual. When I type in my serial number for the Merck Manual free one year access code, it shows nothing. it just says all apps are up to date I've tried entering it multiple times. PLEASE FIX I'm in need of the mobile version for when I don't have that huge book with me.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. This app is much more functional than that very lame Omnio application.

wont download. immediately after purchasing, I get a message stating that purchase (never downloaded anywhere) is "registered to another device ". useless. now i get to waste time complaining to the app store

Do not buy add ons. I paid the 39.99 for the Netter’s anatomy flashcards in the app right before my CSFA exam. The money was taken out of my account hut I was never given the access to the flashcards. I do not recommend.

Thank God. Thank God I could download this and pretty much have the Skyscape I'm used to. The Omnio app is way too complicated. I'm a critical care nurse and when I need to know something I need easy and fast. In this case, less is more!

Not as good as the old skyscape, way better than omnio. They still will not fix the huge text problem in the iPad. I contacted tech support but still no help. The "tiny" text setting yields at least 16 point font.

Use APP often.. APP comes in handy during hospice visits in the home. Often have to refer to it for medications indications and side effects.
