A developer that cares!. Since the last major update I’ve had some problems. I had a technical issue plus a problem with my premium purchase. In each case I contacted the developer and received prompt responses. Best of all, they resolved both my issues quickly. Before you leave a bad review, for any reason, send them an email. They really do care and will likely do whatever they can to resolve your issue and make you happy!

Pro version gone. I purchased the pro version some time back and now it’s gone. It’s stopped working consistently. Doesn’t allow continuous play. I have to stop the app and restart it to play the next song. The “new version” isn’t useful. Can’t use the eq sliders and it’s UI is too hard to navigate.

best bass booster for gym. I use apple headphones and they have nearly no bass to it, I downloaded it not thinking much but it’s by far the best equalizer i’ve used so far, legit it’s good free and paid, I will most definitely pay for premium thank you for making this app

Very poor first experience. I get that a free app is going to be limited and they’re going to offer you lots of add-ons that you will have to pay for. That’s how things work, and I actually like that approach. But the trial mode experience in this app is just unacceptable. There are dozens of add-ons for FC but none of them explain what they are or let you try them before you decide if they’re worth three dollars each. For example “car mode” costs extra and doesn’t say anything about what it would do. Why would I buy it blindly? Most horrific though, are the full-screen auto play video ads WITH SOUND that is ON by default that you CANNOT MUTE and that you cannot skip or dismiss until they finish playing. Yes, the sound plays even if your phone is on silent, and they appear even when you are just navigating the menus. After the second one I deleted the app. You have no respect for me as a user to give me that experience.

Great App, but, of course, a problem...... I love this app and I appreciate the fact that you can listen to your own music in any order without ads that really interrupt your listening experience. I also like the volume mode the best, you can select your own presets and increase the audio output. Really love the audio output the most and was the main reason I got this app. It's free and it looks great! The only problem I have is the loading time for certain areas like albums and genres. Overall I would give it 4 out of 5 stars and would recommend it to people who like to have their listening experience louder and no interruptions!

Every update gets worse. Over the past year, Equalizer became unable to play random tracks imported from my phone’s iTunes playlists. The app will also periodically crash. Another nice bug is that, now, if you skip ahead in a track, the app will then permanently say that the length of the track is however far you skipped ahead. I periodically delete, reinstall, and reimport my tracks within the app. The problems just start all over again.

Have to pay for everything literally. Why do we have to pay for basically a eq setting when almost all y’all’s features aren’t even compatible with my phone

What a wonderful app!!!. I just got this and decided to a try it out. Well, once you get the hang of it it’s pretty easy. I would have liked to know before downloading that the app had additional purchases in order to really get the full capacity of what this app brings to sound quality. Fantastic, a little fade in and out but “excuse me”this doesn’t occur often at all. I can say that SoundCloud takes a long tome to give status that there are actually tracks in the chosen playlist. If I had more patience at the time, I would have found out sooner that it was compatible. Well worth the money 😜. AAlyn Smith

Old UI?. is there a way to use the old ui? it was better in my opinion and I liked the equalizer better. You could move it in all directions. Is there a way to use it or can you add a switch to switch to the old ui? It would be a nice feature.

I hope you're happy, devs.. I don't care how good or bad the app is, I'm being harassed to make a 5 star rating after each song I listen to and even in between. I was testing this out and honestly would have rated it higher if it weren't for that, so congrats on your well deserved rating. Never rush a customer. Update: App stopped working entirely after an "update" (downgrade). A track from a directly imported CD to my iTunes account now says no longer available. There hardly was a sound change to begin with and the rest were pushed for purchases like any other scam app. Also, what's up with all the permisssions? You don't need to know our locations or search histories, screw off. Uninstalled.

No Apple Music playback. Bought the Pro version cause I thought I could play my downloaded Apple Music but is not reading it.

2 stars for 2 reasons. I downloaded this app to try it out the reason I’m only giving you 2 stars is because the app won’t play my local library from iTunes and the other reason is that I love the interface so far

Every time I open this app, it begs for a review, which has finally annoyed me enough to make me do it... if it doesn't stop after I have complied with this request, I'm going to come back and knock a star off this review. No, I'm not kidding - are you listening, developers? ;-) I have a set of LG BlueTooth headphones that sounded TERRIBLE, so I went looking for a solution and came across this app... It's just what I was looking for, and now I can play my music and enjoy it while working out. I'm not sure why I had to do this, as it always sounded fine with wired headphones, but it is what it is, and I got sick of catching the cord on things and ripping my buds out a few times a day, which wore them out so quickly I was going through a new pair every 3 months or so. I'm glad there was such an easy and free fix available - thank you so much!

Barely Works. Can’t even connect a music app to it, keeps crashing and is insanely slow

OK. No matter what I do, I either end up with doubles and triples of songs or no songs at all, it is just random at what transfers over from iTunes. Also, in a previous version you could set an album on continuous play, now it only plays 1 song on the album over and over. You can’t search for help because the app doesn’t recognize terms, it only pulls up songs if it happens to have a word in it that matches your search for technical help. I have both versions of this app and when I got them several years ago they were good, now they are just a pain in the rear. Better apps are out there and their song import is consistent. With this appI find that I eventually have to delete the app completely, reboot my iPad and then download the app again. Most of the time it still drops or duplicates songs.

Good but needs work. I love this for playing music in my car. It boosts he sounds just the way I like it but....I bought the pro version and had to replace my phone in December. Reinstalled app from cloud and no pro version there not is there a restore purchases option. It wants me to pay again....not doing it. Too many apps do this and that adds up if you have to keep doing it. Suggestion would be to have car presets like Astound Music app. There are actual vehicle presets for type of vehicle and the sound quality is unbelievable. The only reason I'm on this app is because they only have foreign cars and I have a 2013 Dodge Avenger so I do not get the max output I should. It sounds better on here. Other than that it's awesome.

Doesn’t work. I logged in through my SoundCloud and paid for a yearly subscription for this app and it can’t find any of my music on SoundCloud. Hopefully I can get my money back…

Not sure .. I’ve had this app for a while now everything was doing great, just this week I wasn’t able to play any of my SoundCloud tracks even though I paid for the Manual subscription. I’ve tried many times to get the music to play and it hasn’t worked.. :(

Waste of time. I deleted it right away because you can’t use it for local music only streaming music.

Used to be good. TOTAL GARBAGE NOW. Trashed prior items bought.. DO NOT BOTHER!! You are in for a lot of misery.

The app is great when it works. The app does it’s job well when it come to boosting your music to the next level, but it has a huge problem for me. It always forgets that I have the manual option bought, I’ve bought it 2 times now and when I opened it again recently, the manual option was back to needing to be paid for. If that could be fixed, it would be greatly appreciated. I love the app when it works, but I don’t use it because I’ve lost the ability to make the songs I want to listen to truly shine.

Much better than the default iTunes app!. I usually don't bother to write a review on any apps, but this music equalizer app really deserves this 5 star. I am currently using an iPhone 4, and a Beats solo 2 for my music. After listing to a few songs and comparing them with the default music app, there was a big difference in quality, and have vowed that I would use this app for my daily music listening. The vocals come out more crisp and clear as ever, and the app automatically fixes up the music, so the bass and treble are perfectly matched. I really recommend this app for anyone and I can't wait to upgrade to the pro version for its full potential!

Don’t install. The app doesn’t work with Apple Music, I pay for features and it never worked, the equalizer doesn’t work, better use the iPhone EQ if you want to change any mode for your music. So yes, they’re going to stole your money. Be careful !

Nothing is for free anymore. Figured I would. Try it first thought I could use it for whatever app I was using at the time if I was playing music the EQ app should just pop up and let me set for my own ears but if your not using there music with the app witch at some point they are going to ask you to pay $$ for using there music box I tried with pandora, I❤️ What if I wanted to spin some old Vinal via Bluetooth from my phone to my phono aux on me home stereo system can I ?? Didn’t think so I tried 🤪 but they can use my phone and any app u have on it at there own will and make changes for there own interest I remember the old table top PCs and getting free EQs that didn’t care what or where the tunes were from U would put it on your hard drive on the tower and it was there for us to use however if music was coming out of your PCs speaker box that was windows 95 I believe and the company behind it was just very happy u were using there app they invented but now we pay them and give over your rights on your phone so I’m going to check this other site it claims it as THE LAST EQUALIZER YOU WILL EVER NEED IT Was $1.99 to download so let’s see if they let me use it on any station on any app or local radio I’m going to check it out I’ll pay a small .99 fee to get the app to use as I see fit on my Pandora premium or I ❤️or Apple Music even my short wave radio 📻 if I chose to so for now👉🏽read between the lines ✋🤚🖐🖖☝️=🖕

Stinks. This app stinks

This app does not work with my setup (Bluetooth- Apple Music- car cellular data). Purchased this app to give me more control over my DIY car audio setup. Playing music through the app had not worked, even on a WiFi connection. When clicking on a song I am prompted with an option to add said song to a playlist. So I do. Hoping this means it will play, but no go. I have used the portion of the app that allows you to alter sound settings (main reason for purchase). While playing a song through Apple Music or other music players. It appears to work. But without manually changing it and hearing the change I really don’t know. Lastly. This is the reason for 0 stars. In order to manually alter sound settings and find out if this app works even a little bit. I have to upgrade to pro version. Pay more to see if it works. Not a great sales pitch. So since it did not work at all for me, 0 stars.

Scam! Don’t waste your time!. I have never left areviewon an app before but I have to warn you if you are considering buying this “extra” features that make this app appealing. EQ does not work all. Best alternative to Power Amp. Just got my iPhone 7 Plus and everyone said that, "there's nothing that is comparable to Power Amp." I looked through the first five hits in the App Store where, sure, they had 4.7 stars but that was out of four or five people, so I kept scrolling and this app came up with a higher rating to person ratio and I'd rather give it a shot. No Complaints. Sure, I'd like a "Pop" equalizer, which likely comes with their Pro Version, which I'll look into after I give this another couple of days, but until then, the Dance and Bass Boost equalizers are just perfect for what I'm listening to anyway (and you can control the Output Gain anyway).

Didn’t work. Equaliser Didn’t work at all on my iPad Air 3 with latest iOS. Just showed existing system presets. Couldn’t even change between those presets.

Not working. After downloading this app, it transferred my music from ITunes but it couldn’t work. It’s frozen and can’t play the music. I’ve paid for more than 40$ for one year subscription but doesn’t work. Any idea anyone?

Just what I needed!. After downloading a couple of apps which were garbage I got lucky with this one. For a free app, I was surprised at the work which has gone into it and its array of features. It instantly imported my iTunes library, artwork and all. It has nifty features such as lyrics to the songs in library and boosted the volume nicely which was what I wanted. Interface not entirely user-friendly but nothing you can't get used to. Thumbs up!

Pretty good. I like that it can access recently played stuff from iTunes and podcast app. Interface is a bit hard to navigate at times. Good re options.

The Same. Pretty much the same as the default Music App with some changes such as button places etc... The layout isn't too helpful in accessibility and it can be difficult to get back to the play screen. Lag aside, the app is pretty decent but for me, the volume changer didn't work so... Yeah. Not very useful...

Same as the normal music app you get. Just a reskin with a few useless features, the EQs are the same as the ones in your phone settings and if you want a custom equaliser you need to buy pro, all they have done here is get the music app, put in the EQs from settings and done a reskin

I really like Equalizer+ app. I tried to get more volume for iTunes tunes, and I just couldn't. It was so weak. I knew I needed a different app to play my music with and so I searched and came upon this app. The sound is at a level I like and the format was easy enough to follow. I have been a user for six years and counting. It is my go to music app.

Awful!. Cannot play all of my iTunes songs, even if they are downloaded in my phone. The bass booster is horrible for ear pods and small speakers, you just get distortion even at medium bass settings. The apps does make treble better though. Aside from that, you get constantly bombarded by stupid adds and you must download half a dozen other apps to have manual settings options and car settings from your CarPlay screen. The worst feature? It slows down ALL the tunes, really! They all played slower! Ridiculous, don’t buy it.

Theres about 8-9 EQ preset for the free version and the volume boost actually work !!! Old version 2.7 user. Now on barely working 5.8. Old version user.. something broke..stopped using old one. Got a new one…spotify doesn't work. I have pro version but it would not integrate my Spotify family version with it. Some apple music purchased tracks are not working. Can someone please fix this.

Great but..... Love that I can change the settings and also like the preset setting, the big plus it downloads the lyrics for some songs!!! One problem, it shuts off once in a while when the music plays and you have to go back in there and restart the music, otherwise I would give it a five star.

Boost your Music but PAY for Real Features. The ads for this app are very cleverly integrated. They do not interrup your music. Since the Ads are already integrated, the app should be free for all features for everyone. This makes ZERO economic sense to have a pay-for upgrade for this app since the ads are creating a revenue stream and are non-intrusive to the user. 4 stars until they figure this out, then I BOOST my rating to 5 stars. This App has the potential to be great!!! MAKE ALL FEATURES FREE AND KEEP THE ADS FOR EVERYONE!!!!

It’s Great, but be prepared to spend 6$.. Everyone complaining about this not being free needs to wake up and realize it isn’t made for free, so don’t expect it to be free. If it does what you want, support the dang writers and developers and pay for it! You don’t walk into Walmart and grab three things without paying for it, get with it! Thanks for the app, it works well for me in my loud equipment.

This is what I think in my opinion. This is a great app and it does amplify the music in iPhone pretty good but here’s where it can be an outstanding app if they would add fade control and fade in and out with no gaps between songs now that my friend would be the awesomest app of all time on iPhone and also like someone once said in an review it’s app should be usable throughout the iPhone.

Incredibly good! No... incredibly great!. Look no further cause this app works and is the best from the rest. I use it especially when I connect it via Bluetooth to an external wireless speaker that can handle more punch than my iPhone has. I used the app and it still blows me away that the difference in sound quality and volume could be enhanced this effectively. Kudos.

Total Disaster. If I could give this zero (0) star, I would. I had a paid subscription which wasn’t perfect but at least it gets the job done. With this supposedly big update, everything is TOTALLY screwed up. Was this thing even tested before it was released? Only a few songs play which keeps repeating itself. None of the presets or anything else for that matter work. To add insult to injury, we’re being asked to once again pay for subscription which was already paid for. Who does that? This is a total rip off. Either go back to the previous version, make this thing work properly (without double paying for subscription) or refund money already paid.

It’s a neat app I guess, but aside from toying around with the free presets it’s completely useless to me, as I was under the impression I could use this app to bypass the absurdly loud minimum volume on my headphones. I mean, it HAS volume in the name. After 15-20 mins though, I just gave up, and am in the process of deleting it.

I was skeptical.. The first day I down loaded the app and tried it out. I swear with all my heart it did not work. A few days went by so I decided to try it again. I made a playlist of all my low quality songs and tried them in the default music app, then opened this app and gave it a try. I have to tell you no joke it was noticeably louder. The first day I was disappointed so I didn't try the equalizer or any of the preset's. Everything worked, I also use the jabra sound app that one was my go to app if I wanted to enhance the sound. Now this one has become my go to music app.

It's OK. Really good sound quality. Can't really have it play while running other apps; it likes to close on its own while on/running other apps. Sometimes likes to close on its own without being on or running other apps. Easy to navigate and does make the overall volume louder.

Simplistic And Superior!. Don't doubt that because this is free, it's not worth it. I thrive off of great sound for all types of music. The presets for this are beautifully done and there is almost a distortion canceling feel about this. I will highly recommend this to anyone who loves great sound. This is, without a doubt, a MUST for anyone who loves great sound with great music. Thank you!!

Awesome!. I love this app! I can easily enjoy my music to its fullest potential, without needing to go into iPhone "Settings > Music > EQ" to adjust. I'm in different rental cars quite often. Equalizer has made music enjoyable again, no matter what sound system my rental car has. Props to the Equalizer App Team!

Fix the bugs. I like the fact that is loaded but I don't like when it constantly crash hope they fix that cause if I'm paying for it, I should be fix, but if you could deal with the crash them you like it that it does make the sound louder

Awesome. I love using the app. I am a huge music freak so every last bit of sound quality is important to me. The equalizer itself is a bit difficult to use at first, but it is easy to pick up on. I like having the lyrics show up on the songs too. It may cost money, but take it from the music freak, it's worth every penny

Much Better Sound than the Regular Music App. I haven't upgraded to the paid version yet, but I am going to after being pleased with the enhanced sound quality and sound definition. The only negative I can see so far is that it doesn't appear to be able to play songs that are in the cloud like the normal music app can. It plays the songs that are saved on your device. But, I just needed this app to increase the music volume enough so I can hear music thru my LG Tones Bluetooth headphones closer to my preferred level. My music even sounds better in my car while using this app.

So Far So Good. Having read about the about the request for giving a review constantly coming up, I thought I would do this now. I just got this today and found it very easy to use. It is simple and efficient and gets the job done. I'll see if it continues to work well. No reason to assume that it will not.

Equalizer. Great app love it! Can't forget it have it because if ur iPhone equalizer is not so hot than add the equalizer app this app is great for ur music and please put some lyrics in songs that don't have it please and also add late night to the equalizer and finally want is the equalizer pro to be updated please and thank you for ur app I appreciate the support thank you

Not an EQ app but, an amplifier. *Before writing this negative review, I sent tech support an email asking for an explanation of my issue and they replied that they would pass it on to their development team* I bought the paid ver It is the same issue some of the others have pointed out. If you create an EQ preset and enable it, the loudness goes away to a level way below normal vol level. I would welcome a refund as the app features listed ate misleading and if I do not get my refund in 24 hours, I will report to Apple

Equalizer + app Volume Booster. Equalizer + Volume Booster This app is phenomenal with using a high grade equalizer with your music library. It’s a high quality music app. I was incredibly disappointed with the sister app (Equalizer + app Volume Booster plus). It’s never worked correctly, it won’t play any of my music, etc. It was one of the worst apps I’ve ever spent money on.

Amazing. The free one works just fine for me. I love the boost gain output, it's perfect. The preset EQ's could be messed with for the free one. But it's fine for my purpose. To be able to tone match what my jaw bone vibrates when I sing to what I hear. If I can still hear myself then I am off tone. I do recommend this is works great... EXCEPT when I try to Bluetooth my Soundbar it doesn't play through that at all, it still only plays through either the iPhone's bottom/loud speakers or the earpiece in call speaker. Good. This is a pretty good app. It does what it says it'll do. Your music will definitely be louder and the sound quality will definitely be better upon using this app. My only complaint is the app crashes instantly at random times and it is highly annoying when that happens. Even if you're in the middle of playing a song it will crash then the app resets itself and you have to go back into it and start your music over again. It's annoying and disruptive. But other than the random crashing, it's a very good app. If it wasn't for the crashing it would've gotten five stars from me.

No I do not like it this is the second time I've down loaded it maybe the last unless you make it easier to transfer songs from any where I might have them as of now there no way to import them unless I have them store in iTunes rediculous on a good note your pages are clean nice to look at I like the black background is cool the Manuel switch for customizing presets is too close to the edge of my I phone I would love to hear the darn thing what about that? Sorry I come off rude it is a free ap so thank you for your time and knowledge and have a great 4th of July this year. Tworley.

More clarifications needed. Needs more instructions re: ICLOUD items that must be downloaded first before this app will play song. All my songs/albums were already downloaded ...... I like the concept of app; want to have the full benefit of it however. Follow up review will come when I get app support response.

Looking elsewhere. The iPads been around for some time, yet, here’s another app that hasn’t heard of it. It insists on displaying in portrait instead of allowing landscape. Next, it’s “AI” puts tunes where it feels is correct. If there’s a way of adding/deleting, I’ve not found it. So, if you want to add something it’s “AI” doesn’t agree to, forget it. Next, the free edition won’t work with streaming services (iHeart, etc). I stream most of the time in-car but am forced to listen without the benefit this app offers. Deleting this, looking for something MUCH better. BTW developers, if the paid version offers those things I’ve complained about, you ought to offer it free for a week, then revert to free.

Fantastic. I didn't even wait for a pop-up to tell me to rate and review the app. It's exactly what I was looking for to deal with my dying left earbud killing my sound because I'm having to balance the sound. I'd rate 10 stars if I could, and just might get the pro version when I can.

Not worth the time to install. Looked cool, installs in seconds. But what dies it really do? Well, it only plays library music, no pandora, app radio or other app. Ok, so I just use it for local music, right? Well, the second you try "custom" settings your music gets softer in every frequency that you adjust below max. And what are these feequencies? Starts at 32 hz (but lowering this lowered my vocals mid range) and top freq is 16k hz (but that seems ok). I lower middle bar (no idea what freq) and more bass. What is going on here? I wasted 2 hours tweeking this app and the result was, better sound without it. Wouldn't waste 25 cents on this p o s!

A BETTER PLAYER THEN iTUNES+ MORE VOLUME A+++. I never write reviews but this app is worth downloading. I got a new car and it came w/ AM/FM, CD, Satellite radio, Bluetooth & AUX input.. After trying to get the stereo to bump as loud on Bluetooth as the other inputs I opened this app & not only solved the problem but now the volume is MUCH LOUDER (&cleaner) then even the CD player!!! ITS A MUST FOR ANYONE WANTING A LOUDER SOUND FROM THEIR MUSIC PLAYER. WORKS PERFECTLY ON EITHER HEADPHONES, SPEAKER-PHONE, AUX OUT & BLUETOOTH. ..ENJOY cuz you will if you need your music to bump louder then iTunes or Google Music Player!

Another bait n switch. So, I paid for this app that included a nice, personalized and manual eq. Updated the app recently and now have to pay an additional 2.99 for that same functionality I had already purchased. Not good customer awareness, and won't be purchasing anything from these developers until they rectify this. Otherwise I can get the functionality available in this app from just about any app on the store. Unnecessary to download as you can do the same with the iOS music app. Sad, really.

Love this App!. Completely enhanced my music experience on iphone. I was looking for louder vocals and treble. I'm a huge fan of hearing the singing crystal clear and big fan of the guitar. This app let me not only nail those down but increase the overall volume in my Apple Air Pods! Very happy with the app, I purchased the upgrade!

A Little Too Complicated. Equalizer is a pretty good app but in the long run can be quite annoying. When I attempt to "equalize" my song it doesn't do anything. If you only want to see the lyrics, this may be a good app for you. However, some of my songs didn't have lyrics available. Unless you are very familiar with things like this, I do not recommend this.

I was impressed, but.... ...not enough to keep the app. It really did boost the volume in my cheap headphones, I was really surprised about that. But the app lacks features like being able to change ratings and it takes to many clicks to get to the playlists. Also, ads that pop up when I'm trying to click on something make me delete the app.

No Complaints So far. I read the reviews and I decided to try it out. I have not paid for the app yet and I’m on the free version. I have not yet encountered any problems. I think the app is doing what it supposed to be doing. I see a huge difference in the volume level and it is FANTASTIC! I bought a Soundsport Freewireless headphones. I’m not happy with the sound because the volume is not loud as I want it to be. I after installed this app and it fixed the problem. Try it out, the app works for me for now. That may change long period of time though.

Above Average In Some Ways..,. A message to all developers out there: asking consumers to rate your app adds considerable irritation to the experience and increases the odds of your receiving a review biased towards negativity and disparagement. Perhaps it would be more hospitable to allow future customers the chance to become inspired to write a review. That aside, this app is good. It would be great if sound check were supported. A pro is that music is accessed directly without the need to import. Sound quality is good. The output gain feature is much appreciated for blending with other sound apps simultaneously. Album covers take a while to load, popping up in a distracting way during playlist access. Interface lacks customization but is a bit haphazard, forcing one to zip between widely spaced columns. It appears that playlists can neither be created nor edited within this player. Overall this player is above average for its type and surpasses the stock Music app, IMHO.

It's just OK. No manual equalizer and I don't really know if it controls the sound all that much it seems to have failed once and started glitching and I just think the menu when you're in the screen is too difficult to navigate. When you cycle through the playlist, if you hit the back arrow it won't take you back to the last song of the playlist like it does in the regular Apple music application. It is just generally not very friendly and really it's a good start but not yet.

Better than the regular music player!. Not only do I find this equalizer better than any other app on the AppStore, I find it more easily integrated and usable than the default iOS music player. Plus, with the right audio setup, the bass is absolutely amazing this has more than doubled the music volume of my tracks.

Ahh, this is nice. Very glad I bought this - brings out a lot of sound I don’t hear otherwise. My one suggestion: the pause button, when pressed, should remain engaged as you forward through songs. Currently, each “new” song starts playing, but that’s a very minor thing.

This is a garbage-app. Edit: DON’T GET THIS!! I KEEP UNSUBSCRIBING, AND THEY KEEP BILLING ME!!! AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHH They won’t allow me to log in to them unless I’m willing to send my passwords UNSECURED AND UNENCRYPTED. Why does Apple even tolerate this kind of garbage-behavior? The ads are annoying af and can’t be muted even if the phone is silent. There are alot of separate three-dollar addons but you can’t try them first, to see if they’re worth it..... and worst of all it won’t play the majority of my songs because of “protection.” On other apps if the song is protected that just means that it keeps a flatline eq and you can’t use any effects. On this app, apparently you can’t play the song at all (depending on where you got it). Totally unacceptable, and I couldn’t get rid of this app fast enough.

Annoyance causes dislike. You guys must really, really want people to buy your app, don't you. For me, if I like an app, I will buy just to get rid of the ad displays. But you guys go the extra mile to bring popups to annoy the user. What really thru me over the edge was I couldn't search for certain songs. Now that is annoying. I hope you guys get rid of the popups cuz you will lose clients fast. How am I going to experience an app when I when get a popup every 5 clicks?

This app on a TRILLION. Love this app!!!!!!! My volume max radio in my car stops at 62 being the loudest... so it’s really not that loud, I can barely hear the music playing when I’m outside of my car... However after searching for music booster apps.. BOOM I came across EQUALIZER + and it’s like I had new speakers with an amplifier installed in my vehicle.... hooray for me!!! Very satisfied I even purchased the additional options...

Not too bad!. I like that you can create your own custom EQ’s That’s important because most music sounds pretty bad coming straight out of iTunes. I believe all music should be equalized! I’ve seen people buy expensive headphones and say “Oh man they sound like crap!” But what they don’t know is it’s not the headphones. It’s that they are listening to pandora or beats music and it’s not equalized for your headphones or device!!! So I had to pay a couple bucks. It’s worth it to me!

Going beyond what my old music play could do. I simply love this app so far. Lots of options that my old music app simply didn’t have. It’s very easy to use and also connects to my cars Bluetooth. In fact my cars radio and this app get along a lot better then the previous music app that I had before.

GREAT APP!. I downloaded this because my iPhone 5 volume is kinda low and I needed an app that would give the the phones internal volume a little boost. This app not only does that, but allows you to play your music directly from the app instead of using the pre installed music player on your phone which I really like. Another thing is that it gives you the lyrics to the songs on your phone which I think is pretty cool. I would definitely recommend this to someone. 👍🏽

Issues. I love the idea of the app but maybe someone can help. It won't allow me to play my music it says that the songs aren't downloaded and from iCloud however I downloaded a new album directly from Apple Music and it still gave the same message. Has this happened to anyone else

Really buggy on Ipad 3. This definitely does its job by increasing the music output of your device. The app is self is nice and the layout is sleek but the bane is running it on older devices. I have the iPad 3 (ios8)and the music list keeps twitching and after a while, keeping the app active, you won't be able to close it, switch to a new song, pause, and go back to the home screen. The only option is to reset the device. I haven't tried it on new devices but until I do I'll keep it at 3 stars for iPad 3.

Bad Update - App Just Shuts Off. I didn’t even realize there was an update until I went for a drive and was going to listen to music. I opened the app and it said content was downloading and then shut off. So much for music during the drive. I tried again when I got home assuming it happened because of not having WiFi. But nope - same thing. So now I’m looking for a new music equalizer app. Thanks a heap. Ever heard of if it ain’t broke don’t fix it? Total amateur hour...

Fine grain control of audio. This is the only app I confined it actually allows you to control fine-grained volume. When music is played to this app is in control equalizer and fine-tune controlled the actual buy am coming out. I found it for new headphones I had ordered the music was too loud.

you broke my heart.. I rarely write reviews, but today I decided I needed to trash this app and it's sellout developers. I opened Equalizer+ to discover, to my total disappointment, that the previous version was replaced by a disorganized heap overrun by ads. An ad playing right in the middle of my song guys? are you kidding? I don't write reviews, believe me. I don't think I've ever reviewed anything. This app pushed me over the edge. I loved equalizer. Find another app, this one will ruin your listening experience with unnecessary, overcomplicated menus and ADS LITERALLY PLAYING IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR SONG!

Could be better. There’s nothing much bad about this app, it does what it’s suppose to even has a visualizer but there could be more, getting rid of ads was cheap, but that feature could be cheaper and that goes for all apps that bug you with that sort of thing. The double volume playback feature is excellent, keeps my nephews and nieces from bugging me to death to play a lot of games with them. It’s great dispite some missing features here and there that I could use but it’s suitable for the time being.

Meh, So-So Performance. It worked well the first day I used it. Lots of flexibility to customize the sound. But after the first day, I had lots of difficulty stopping a song and restarting it. Then the app wouldn't close or go through the death when I tapped the buttons. I found myself tapping the buttons to get the app to work properly. Glad it was very inexpensive. I have yet to find a seventy, consistently good equalizer for my iPod.

TICKED OFF. When I first started using this app it was awesome, now I honestly want to delete it. However, there really is no other app that will make music sound so much louder. When you're listening it music, it'll started buffering and then just stop! It won't let you pause, skip, or replay songs without problems. This has been happening since January and yet the people/person responsible for making it hasn't even fixed it.
