Found an easy way!. I’ve been trying different applications only to discover all the data entry was a waste of time because it wasn’t what I needed. This is simple and easy

15 Transactions. So far I like this app to start the new year organizing. At this time it’s only letting me input 15 transaction per month . That does not suit me, hmmm

It’s just what I was looking for!!. I excel at my profession, but not the ‘office’ part that is SO important. It was tax time, ugh! So I went to the App Store looking for an app that #1 had instructions I could understand and #2 was compatible with my accountant’s requests. This app was the perfect fit.

Amazing. The app is basically flawless. And they will add features that they haven’t thought of just by clicking the send us feedback button and they respond. I am no way sponsored but for this app to be free is crazy.

Just learning app. I have just downloaded the app. I am beginning to make entries. So far the app is easy to use. I would need to use for a few months to thoroughly understand and evaluate.

Great App for Small business owners. I own a beachside retail store in Mexico. I live there part time and in the US part time. I was having a very difficult time finding a simple accounting program that would give me a daily snapshot as well as a running accounting of my business. Then I found this app. It has worked just as I had hoped. I can easily switch between this app, my inventory app and my credit card app to know exactly where I stand with merchandise and money. Thank you !!!

It’s perfect. I was looking for a simple and free alternative to QuickBooks that allowed me to track how much money I made, and this was it! This app provides a real service.

Best Book Keeping App Ever. I’ve just started using this app for a month and it’s easy to use and best book keeping app ever used. Even though I never tried any other app so far but this is very convenient for me in keeping my companies expenses and sales in check. Better than Excel as I can take this everywhere I go and premium is not neck breaking.

To the Rescue!!!. Was looking for a simple user-friendly app for friend that needed help organizing her tax info. So far so good! Looking forward to keeping you updated on her progress :-) Wow! This is so easy!! I’ve been able to make entries and edit with no trouble at all! I really like being able to check my previous entries through the history and it’s great having it in chronological order for easy reference :) I really like the flexibility between categories. No need to delete and re-enter an entry to change categories! Just make the changes you need and the app automatically puts it in the right category :-D Thanks Taxnote!!{

Best FREE Expense keeper. This is honestly a great app. As most apps they do offer a paid version but that’s for more then one “book” if you are just trying to track your expenses and your income you will only need that one book and the upgrade isn’t that expensive either. It lets keep track of everything and has a built in calculator when you are inputting anything. It keeps track of dates what type of currency (cash or bank) and you can create categories. I definitely recommend it if you are running any type of business, small or big.

Does the job. Simple to use, easy to input. Basic and quick way to keep track of expenses.

Good App. I got this app after trying a number of others, it’s a simple and easy way to track income and expenses. The developer answers questions quickly and is very helpful. It is very much worth getting the free version and the upgrades.

Easy to use. I just started using this app and it was fast to learn. Only thing lacking for me is I want an option for Unpaid sales. Basically orders that haven’t been paid yet. Don’t want to get confused with the open orders and the closed orders/sales.

The little problem makes this app 100% useless. It would be so easy to fix. When you write your expenses you MUST say exactly what those expenses are for, especially if you run a business where you make cash purchases. This app does not have a section to where you can write notes about your purchases, making it useless for accounting purposes.

SUCH A GREAT APP!. New to this type of bookkeeping just got this to try and mess around with our numbers and definitely keeping it such a useful tool!!! :)

Simplistic accounting. I love the simplicity of this app. I just wish you could attach receipts for end of the year tax purposes and to keep them in one place.

Great App!!. This App has been perfect for my small business. I just needed something simple to track income/expenses without a huge price tag. Taxnote is so easy to input information and simple to export and print as well. I did upgrade to the plus version and if it remains functionally well, I will use next year as well. My only complaint is I have no idea how to get help in English. When I go the help center, all that comes up is a bunch of foreign symbols. I hope the developer will reach out and explain an English help center that is easy to understand and navigate!

Realizable! User friendly! Reasonably priced!. I’ve been using this app for a good 4 years now and I’m still very happy with it. For me it’s worth paying for the premium because I use multiple books which is Extremely helpful !

Thank you. Although I do wish the app offered more analytic options (More graphic displays based of different category criteria), I appreciate the simplicity of this app. It has been a very useful tool without complication. I also appreciate the authors honest and forthright communications regarding the future of this app.

Simple easy to use. I am not much of a tax person but this app has made it very easy and I’m able to give it to my tax guy and it has simplified my business tremendously. I like the iCloud settings, it helps that my partner can see the entries that I made and I could see the entries that he made because were both miles apart.

Overall What I needed. It’s perfect for the simple person just wanting to log some expenses and some cash/bank flow. It’s nothing fancy, nothing over the top. Really wish you didn’t need to spend 30$ a year for something so basic 15$ it’s a better price... Overall I like it is perfect so I don’t need to do the math on everything anymore I just put it in and don’t worry about it. Not buggy at all(can’t imagine a reason for it to be buggy tho)

Perfect App for small business. Simple. And easy to use. Makes my taxes at the end of the year so much easier to do. I echo other comments about better reports, and really wish there was an English version of the help pages. I had to figure it out by trial and error. Luckily the program is easy enough to do this. Thanks for something that small businesses can afford.

All I need. This is a very simple yet effective program. I use it to track my expenditures and income for my small business. You have ability to create your own categories. Other programs were far too complicated and costly. This is all I need

So far so good. It’s simple to use, it’s just what I need for my very small business. I haven’t run into the paywall yet, so time will tell how much this will cost me. I like the ability to enter everything myself instead of trying to use some computer programs forced categories and methods

So Far, So Good!!!. I started using this App to track my Revenue of sales for my job. So far It has been everything I was looking for and more. I’m impressed with the ease of use, the overall design of the App is great so far. I keep saying so far because I have been using it for only 11 days now.

Keeps my head straight. It’s simple so I can easily put info in immediately and let it sort itself out.

I like the app. The app is working well for me to do basic Income/Expense recording (I have the paid version) Some helpful things for me would be better summaries (especially for expenses) to be able to see the subdivisions of categories without having to look at the entire history of everything. It would also be helpful to have better printing abilities of reports that would include the account name on them with sub categories also included.

Read the fine print.. Honestly getting tired of app developers slipping their subscription information at the very bottom of their app description. If I wanted to pay for this service, that SHOULD be free, I’d pay for QuickBooks. Don’t waste your time. If you want to pay for that service, pay for quickbooks. Infinitely better. If you actually want a free service, there are legitimate options. This isn’t one of them.

Seems legit. I have just started using this, but it seems it will do everything I am hoping. Basically I need a pocket bookkeeper for my small business. I think this will keep me organized and prepared for tax season.

This is a really good app. It’s basic and that’s fantastic. As an accounting major I can say this is a very good application for tracking (cash basis) personal and small business transactions. If you need accrual basis maybe look else where OR adjust at the end of the period. If you need to track personal finances this is the perfect tool. No registration, basically free or just $30 per year if you need more than 15 entries. Great job to the developers!! I Highly recommend the it’s completely user friendly and quick to learn! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good App...but. I like the app until I just got a message regarding a limit to the number of monthly entries. I got a feeling I am going to get hit with a monthly subscription after I’ve wasted time entering data.

7 years in.. This application is great. I have been using it for 7years. Never had a problem. I only use it on my iPad. I was terrified when I bought a new iPad, but it was no problem transferring the App. End of year taxes are easy to do. No more shoeboxes full of receipts. Love it! 7-8-20 keeps getting better and better. Updates are fantastic.

Easy to use. Run my own business and use this for my bookkeeping software. Much easier to use than anything else including quickbooks. Very reliable and accurate.

Everything I needed.. Was looking for a simplified bookkeeping app and this fit the bill perfectly. Allows me to create input record logs, tracks my purchases, and sales. You are limited to 15 entries per month on the free version but if you need more just purchase the upgraded version works perfect and is supported with updates.

A breeze for keeping up with the books on the go. Great app for sole traders. Entering expenses and income as you go and transfer it straight to your book keeper or accountant. Easy to use and with a few taps you can see how your business is performing financially. Backing up your entries is just as easy.

Simply Brilliant. I'd tried many Apps for small business before finding Taxnote. It was exactly what I needed and the improvements have been complimentary to its simplicity. I'm very pleased with this app and would recommend it to anyone who needs basic record keeping.

So far this has been a great way to keep records, although my accountant asked if I send her the CSV files can she open and modify them, free Version doesn’t modify without re-calculating everything yourself, I’m not sure about the paid version but this is important and don’t want to pay and it doesn’t work

Great little program. I have found Taxnote a simple but effective accounting tool for my AirBnB business.. once I grasped the method of use it became a simple matter of data entry.. Multiple accounts are also not an issue.. Strongly recommend to anyone needing a record for tax purposes.

Works well. Works well until you want to look at the end of financial year figures in ‘overview’. Why isn’t there just a simple date picker so you can choose the start and end dates? I choose the month start and last day to f month and the app crashes every single time. All I need is to look at my financial details for 1/7/17 - 30/6/18 but it’s clearly too difficult!

Great improvements. I've been using this for 2 years and I still love using it. It's simple yet does exactly what u need it to do to keep track of your expenses. I upgraded to the cloud version and it's worth the $$. Now I can have multiple expense accounts, and can keep track of my business and personal expenses without mixing them. Also, they backup to the cloud every time you insert a new expense, therefore if your phone ever crashed you never lose your data.
