Pay to win game. I have been play Asphalt games since the year Asphalt 8 dropped and have enjoyed playing GameLoft games for a while now. But in Asphalt 9, everywhere you go the game advertising deals or packs to get your money for a decent amount of credits in game. When you start off in the game and get used to racing, you unlock a fair amount of cars, sure. Are they any good? Can’t say so myself. For every class of cars, there are about five of them, there is maybe 15 cars in each and only 2 or 3 of them will do you any good. I have maxed out multiple cards on my account and have compared cars side by side. Most players defiantly favor cars and will not play with half of the cars that there is to choose from. You can also purchase car packs in the shop that DO NOT guarantee the car blueprints that is actually on the packet, but rather car blueprints which are included in the same class as the car blueprints you are looking for.( When you collect 30-60 blueprint for a car, you unlock and can use it in races). They like to scramble it up in the packs and base what you get in the car packs off of “chance”. Typically leaving without the car blueprints you were hoping for, trying to get you to buy more packs for a better chance of unlocking the cars you want. There are also MANY bugs and glitches in the game that time and time again they will not fix after updating the game. The game is all around great and fun but unfair and annoying.

Okay, but not as best.... I have to admit the cars styles and places and blueprints from challenges are pretty cool. But when you get through chapters while getting better your trying to achieve something awesome but have to do all the rest of chapters and come back to it because you finally got that specific car that you have to race with to get what you want. It makes this game not that playable. You want to be a fantastic racer, but spend most time just doing nothing and finding it not worth it. The blueprints come easy for some but I think only sometimes. Challenges give you blueprints but hard ones give you lots less than easy. And this games controls are not as good as others. I actually wish I still have asphalt 3. I want back drifting your own drive, and actually taking control. The 360s are pretty sick. I like the sick tricks you can make on the ramps and in midair too. I’d say those would be a great “same from last” to go with different controls. I think a lot more work with the actual movement of the car and some of the already crazy driving would be great work with new chapters that aren’t much of a struggle. We need all new ideas to become more entertaining and actually deserve to be legendary. And to influence better for Asphalt ten.

Asphalt 9 isn’t this suppose to be fun?. Asphalt 9 starts off as a good game, hell a great game. Graphics are good, storyline is good, art is good, clubs are good, and the store is reasonable. As you play you’ll love it like I did. You’ll spend money too cause it starts as a good game worth it. Until you get deeper in the game. Events are trash most cars will be faster than you regardless of how much money you spend, or how much you upgrade your car. You’ll even make a perfect run and they’ll still pass you with no explanation just because! THE MULTIPLAYER IS WORSE YOUR CAR WILL CONSTANTLY GET KNOCKED DOWN JUST WITH A CAR NEXT TO YOU!! When they matchmake you’ll see other players in superchargers and exotics and you in your Honda or Mustang. You’ll be completely out matched and over powered. STILL THE KNOCKOUT MAKES NO SENSE. OTHER PLAYERS JUST HAVE TO DRIVE NEXT TO YOU, AND NO THEY DONT SPIN OR DO A SHOCKWAVE; AND THEY KNOCK YOU DOWN!! And forget about catching up with the group you’ll never catch up! I can’t support a game like this anymore, I can’t give money to a game like this anymore. Even though I believe that everything in this game is at a reasonable price. THE FINAL VERDICT FOR ASPHALT 9 IS A 4/10! It has some addictive parts in this game but too many flaws and I can’t do it anymore. I’m done do yourself a favor and play GSR 2 it’s better in my opinion and thrilling!

Bigger and better, but still needs some improvements.... Hello Gameloft! Let me just say that you have made an amazing game here. Asphalt nine is better than most of the others that I have played. For some others like Asphalt 8 or Asphalt off road, it got kind of boring after awhile. But I expect to be keeping this one around for quite some time. The graphics are great, and I love watching the cinematic replays and the action packed stunts you can pull off! One thing I’ve already noticed and irritates me however, is that wreckage from other cars can push you off the road, and this is really annoying when I’m about to jump off a ramp and some debris comes flying out of nowhere and pushes me off. Also, something else you can improve on is maybe removing the thing where you have to find certain parts to upgrade your car when you have the nitro and acceleration and that stuff maxed. And PLEASE make multiplayer more fair, like pitting you against players close to your rank, because I can never win a multiplayer round since there’s always at least two cars three hundred points ahead of me with way better cars. But all in all, fantastic game, keep it up!

This game is good, but there are some issues on multiplayer mode.. So I’ve played this game for a year now in two accounts and it’s pretty fun! I enjoy the different modes it has to offer, but there are a few problems with the multiplayer mode. So first, whenever I play other modes, there is little to no lag, but when I play multiplayer, there is a lot of lag. I get that it’s multiple players playing at the same time, but it shouldn’t be too laggy to the point where everyone is having connection issues. Secondly, whenever I use my nitro and touch someone, it should destroy them, right? Apparently, not on multiplayer! Whenever I use my boost and hit someone, they don’t explode like they normally would. For others, they do. Thirdly, the way that races are handled. People can be ranked bronze and they’re going up against silver and gold. It’s just very inconvenient for lower ranked people to go up against people who are way more stronger than them. Overall, the game is good, but connection issues, lag, and ranking issues make multiplayer a bit… difficult.

Same micro-transaction fare as others. What happened to the says of just buying a game and playing it? This game, like most of Gameloft’s games (I played many) has really amped-up graphics that are first-rate. Game play itself is fluid and the controls are adequate for touch playing. The tragedy here is the very same cancer that’s giving mobile games a very bad reputation- namely, from the moment you begin this game you are bombarded with “LIMITED TIME!!!” offers to buy cars for $90 and other things. Before you can even begin playing you’re drowning in all sorts of offers to buy, buy, buy and even worse, the “loot crate” thing also shows up in this game. This loot crate system is as close to gambling as you can get, because ultimately you’re spending real money to play the slot machine here. And of course, game companies offering this sort of shady momey-grabbing activity are hoping to ignite that little inner-gambler in you with promises of rare items. It’s just very disappointing that such a beautiful game is made so awful by the horrendous micro-transaction system that nearly all mobile games have adopted. Can can we even call it micro-transactions anymore, with items costing $100? I sure hope there will be a backlash against this sort of greed.

Yet another money grab. Played the game for a year, incredibly grinding, but a marginally fun time waster. I almost completely refuse to buy packs, Price of packs is absolutely, stunningly abhorrently, ridiculous ... I can’t say this clearly enough - almost across the board spending money on these packs is stupid. ( and yes I did spend maybe $20 ) But the real killer is that now after entering a car release special event with every pre existing car needed maxed out and a big pile of token saved up, there still is simply is no way to progress past 75% of the event without spending $100s of dollars, and guessing it would likely cost $1000 or more to finish the event ENOUGH to unlock the car. It’s one thing to enter event with only a couple half leveled cars, another to make it functionally impossible without spending money even with all the cars maxed out. This is simply unacceptable. FIX IT GAMELOFT. LITERALLY.... buying $100 pack will not generally get you one star on a high end car... this is truly a prime example of how awful, gouging and greedy a developer can be. ( see “Game of war” for perhaps the best example of the worst ) $100 is more than any top tier full blown PC game 20 times as good would cost. Just don’t do it....

Must read, important, and critical. This game was such a good game but can you make the AI a little bit more easier on you because this is what happened. I was doing a race and I got over the rank you recommended but I still got beat. And the ai was too aggressive. They smashed me everywhere and kept tailgating me and ramming me. Like I know it is an illegal street race but that is no reason to treat your opponents badly. Can you make that also a rule for the race AI because their driving was horrible and so were sportsmanship. So can you make them not that aggressive. Well you can make them hit you to be fair but just make them not overly aggressive. Oh and to place a booster onto one of the stats of your car cost money. I am not talking about the upgrades I meant the imports. Like in most racing games they do it for free and usually the price is overpriced. And the reason I added that in is because you already have all the parts to do that yourself you don’t need to spend money or hire someone to do it for you you already have all your parts it won’t cost money in real life except if you don’t have the import yet. Please respond.

Great Graphics, but it’s you gotta pay or can’t keep up. Great game and great graphics. The idea behind the game is great but after playing for a week or so. You will realize that you have to grind for hours and hours and hours if you don’t want to pay for the upgrades in order to keep up with the game. I am literally stuck and cannot go any further because I don’t have enough “cards” to unlock more powerful cars or upgrade my current vehicle to the next level. By the way, it takes an absurd amount of cards to upgrade your crappy Class D or Class C cars from two to three stars so I don’t even want to know how many cards it would take to upgrade a Class B or A. Races are fun but gets pretty boring after a while because it is the same track and same objectives. Developers should come up with a better way to get people that doesn’t want to play to play involved because getting 1 or 2 cards after every 5 races is ridiculous. The fuel (essentially how maybe lives you have) per car is horrible thought out, or in this case pretty clever way to take your money. The vehicles will not refuel to 6/6 unless you completely run out of fuel. So if it has 2/6 then it will stay like that forever. I’ll be uninstalling and finding something else more interesting that won’t cost be $10 for a low level class C car.....

Grindy, but awesome!. I have progressed quite far into the game, with a 4 star vulcano and a 5 star centenario, and many other 4 star cars. The graphics on this game are unlike any other mobile game. The only downside is that it is very grindy and time consuming, and the shop offers in buying tokens are so not worth it. 3000 tokens for 100$? If you do buy that, then if you are buying car packs worth 75 per and u purchase in 750 to get at least one gaurenteed blueprint. The problem is, on average you will get about 6 blueprints per x10, so all 3000 will give u 4 x10 packs. If you have average luck, you will only get 24 blueprints, and all good S class cars take at least 40, sometimes up to 85 blueprints just to unlock. Despite this, you can grind up your tokens for free, with special events and daily goals. I currently have over 6,500 tokens which is well worth over 200$ that I didn’t spend money on. But ultimately, the actual driving mechanics, physics engine, and graphics are like no other mobile game! Get this game for sure if you like racing, and are ok with throwing lots of time into the game.

Great game, needs improvement BIGTIME.. I absolutely LOVE these games. They are really beautiful, from graphic details to smooth gameplay. But the multiplayer mode needs some TOTAL ATTENTION. Even with the new Slipstream Mode it’s absolutely atrocious. There have been countless times and i mean COUNTLESS TIMES, where I would use shockwave or stunts to create a knockdown on opponents, even straight up ramming them with full speed and just glance off of them during races. And there will be a time an opponent comes up behind me and barely touches me, and I mean no boost, no stunts, nothing like that, and I get knocked down. It’s absolutely insane and infuriating. I’m the one to take a loss but when the mechanics are not working the way they’re supposed to and other opponents get the advantage to win over a stupid glitch, it’s ridiculous. Especially coming from a person who loves challenges and plays all the time, and even spends REAL MONEY from time to time, this is what I get? If it doesn’t get fixed I’ll just delete this. So for now 2 stars. Other that absolutely great game. Oh and as someone who absolutely HATES lagging, I only use the best internet connection. And yes, app is fully updated as well as iOS software on my XS Max. So it’s a game glitch.

Fun game but it’s a pay to win special events. Asphalt 9 is a fun game to play with a lot more things to do over Asphalt 8. If all you play is the career mode, then the game is hard to advance. You need to play the daily events as well to earn more blueprints to get new or upgrade cars. I like a game that is fun to play but challenging to complete. I have fun (and spend days) playing just the daily events and multiplayer modes without going to the career mode. What I don’t like is the way special events is setup. Special events is a mode that is only open for a limited number of days. If you complete all the challenges within the time period, you win a new car. The problem is that you can only get so far in the challenges before it starts requiring you to use a higher end car with upgrades to even play. If you want to win the car offered in the special event, you most pay real money to buy and upgrade the cars needed to play the challenges in the special event. Plus, it is extremely hard/rare to win blueprints for top cars without paying real money. This is the whole reason why I stopped playing Real Racing 3.

Ehhh. The game starts fun but once you get past group C the gas tank takes an hour to refill and you only get to race six times per tank. Also the game crashes every time you change car, change season, race a credit heist & every other or every other other race. Every time it crashes your gas decreases by one. This happens even on the newest phones. The game also uses blueprints which take way longer to collect. Example, a cars worth of money takes about a season of play, race season in game not real season,. A race gives you around one blueprint some times more but not very often. Anyway a car takes around thirty to fifty blueprints and only every other or one in every three, four races even gives you a blueprint. And even worst is the fact that every other race season makes you get a new car after you already got a new car for that season, two new cars a season. And a season is only ten to fifteen forty second races. The game play is ok but the races force you to upgrade your car all the time but the game puts low caps on upgrading. Also for multiplayer you have to have the fastest car maxed out to win. The only upside is that there is only one add and it’s not a video so you can skip it instantly.

Could be great *updated*. I’ve been playing this game since shortly after it was released. While there are some great things about the game the bad outweighs the good buy a longshot. The story mode is good and the daily challenges can be fun but monotonous. It becomes very hard to unlock some of the higher end cars even with the challenges that are presented to you as options. The bad in this game is the multiplayer mode which becomes the only way to play this game once you’ve maxed out some of the easier to attain cars. **update** The last major update to this game was horrible. Look at the forums at the countless number of complaints. The game has become geared towards those that know how to cheat or buy the higher end cars that normal racers can’t get. You could easily flush $500 on this game and NEVER unlock new cars or win events or multiplayer races. The Grand Prix events are full of those cheaters and hacks that outrun everyone by seconds keeping legit racers out of the top 10. You can buy a pack of cards for $10 to get 3 blueprints towards a car that takes 48 prints to unlock. Bottom line, save your time and money because the game developers here don’t really care about the everyday joe that wants to play a racing game.

Way too many ads!!!!!!!. Okay, so I haven’t been playing long and in the beginning it was fine. Mostly just ads to get bonus stuff, which is fine, I’ll watch an ad to triple my winnings. But within the last 24 hours, the ads have gotten ridiculous!!!!! A race maybe lasts 90 seconds or so and now it’s playing an ad after every race. Want to check your rewards/achievements, another ad, upgrade your car, another ad. Go to career seasons, another ad. Extremely annoying!!!!!! I don’t mind an ad here or there, but 2 ads in under a minute is totally uncalled for and makes the game unplayable and not enjoyable....... I started playing as an alternative to RR3, which is a fantastic game, but definitely realistic and Asphalt was a more fun, less serious game. I’ll just go back to it, at least it doesn’t bombard you with unwanted ads. You can watch an ad for a bonus, but they’re not shoved down your throat like Asphalt is doing. You spend more time watching ads than you do playing the game, that ratio is bass ackwards....... Hopefully they fix this and put it back the way it was. Don’t think I’ll be playing any more until they do. Now it’s just a big long ad, screw that........ Bye Asphalt 9, till you get your act together........

Hero to zero. I’ve been playing this game ever since its release, and for a while, Asphalt 9 was really enjoyable. The graphics blew me away, the physics were spot-on, Touchdrive made it so easy to focus on stunts, and the costless customizations are incredible. ....that being said, however, Gameloft’s recent updates have released events requiring extraordinarily rare cars, which are only available through extremely expensive car packs that cost real money and the new Multiplayer ranking system is abyssal, only allowing people with the best cars (and the fattest wallets) to level up to the next leagues (which of course allow you to race with the next class up). Finally, the worst of them all: the blueprints are THE source of the p2w in this game. I Asphalt 9 was developed to have the same paying system for cars as 8, Career wouldn’t be a p2w. However, it is because you wins up needing to get cars that are so rare that real money is the only way to get them. I loved this game, but the real P2W effect has taken its toll on me. I unlocked my cars, claimed my awards, and made it into career as far as possible. Unfortunately, now, I’m fed up and moving on to games like CarX where P2W isn’t all that present. Such a shame that things had to end this way because I loved Asphalt 9 for a good long time.

Need a 2nd Mortgage to progress!!!. I used to love this game. The graphics are amazing. The gameplay is unbelievable. I love the different game modes. However the newest updates are COSTLY to say the least. Patience is a virtue but this is ridiculous. You can wait and play for months to get cars and level ups or If you want certain cars you need to buy it when the package was available. $50 for half of the car. With that you have coins to buy another car but you have to pay another $50 so you can get the initial car. But it doesn’t stop there bcz you need to upgrade the car to another level. Each level has upgraded features that cost coins. Well to progress in the game you need to pay another $100 to get to the next level. To be fair there are quite a few payouts but most of the payouts don’t help you to get the cars that you want. They spent so much time looking for ways to get you to spend money that they didn’t develop any new tracks. There are several tracks but after a while the tracks get boring. I used to spend money on the game every week but I have given up on that. Going forward I refuse to spend actual money to excel. This is a great game but I may soon find a new game that is better for my wallet.

My response for six weeks playing this game. When I looked at the other response there where ok; some said it was a play to win, others said it was the balance of the game. But al Least for me the game keeps me on my feet and wanting to play the game more. I played the multiplayer but I think the solo player is more for me ( My Career ). The currency in the game is very well handled. Only as long as you’re smart with it. At first I used all my money but it was on my first car. So when I got a better car I didn’t have money. But lucky when you spend all you’re money, they give you an extra 30,000 for playing the game. And then and there. I realized I should save up and be smart on what I spend it on. The only problem I actually have with this game is that when I press the game, it takes me out to Home Screen. It’s ether my phone ( iPhone 7 ) or it’s just how big the game is and the graphics. And that’s another thing the graphics look like a $20 ps5. ( compliment ) it looks SO good. And I am pleased with this game thank you. :)

Awsome game but needs some improvement. Asphalt 9 is honestly one of the best driving games I have ever played I like that it has seasons with different cars featured each season but the driving controls need some improvement like for instance you should have a gas/brake pedals on one side with the nitro button and the steering controls on the other side. Cause using pedals to steer and drift at the same time is VERY CONFUSING but all in all the controls are good. Another thing that would improve this game for me and probably others is being able to purchase tokens with our credits cause there have been times when I didn’t have enough tokens to buy something but had way to many credits and all I needed was 1 little blueprint but It cost tokens that I didn't have. Other than the two before mentioned problems the game is top notch. It’s fun, addictive, and very entertaining. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who loves playing racing games. It has enough pedal to the metal to fuel the adrenaline rush and suspense that comes with racing please see to the improvements they would improve everyone’s experience 😀

Good game, very pay to win.. This game is fun and the graphics are very high-quality. The (very major) issue with this game is that it is EXTREMELY pay to win. How it works is you race to earn money. You spend your money on card packs. If you are lucky and spend a lot of time in the game, you can eventually earn enough identical cards (out of 500+ options) to get a new vehicle. The top-tier cars each take about 8-10 hours of gameplay to unlock. If you spend money, you can buy the exact same car for $3. You can see the problem with this. If I were to spend $1000 dollars on the game, I would have a very good chance at dominating on the leaderboards. If I could not afford to spend $1000 dollars on a phone game, I would get smoked by the rich person. Gameloft probably will never fix this as they make tens of thousands of dollars a day off of people spending money in order to win. Most players will never be able to own the cool cars featured in the video. We play this game to escape and drive the cars of our dreams and then we find we are stuck with a Mitsubishi Lancer, a bmw convertible, and a 2017 Camero. Gameloft, this game is a disappointment. You had the chance to make something actually good, but you blew it. If you respond, which you won’t, you’ll probably say something like “we’re sorry you had a negative experience with our game, it may not be for everyone”. Please give me a actually useful reply.

Overrated. I used to play Asphalt 8 for a couple of years and I definitely loved it. Sure I had things I wasn’t happy about it but still it was great and playable. Then comes Asphalt 9, the graphics are arguably top notch, I can’t believe this game is basically free. BUT, (this may be because I haven’t played the game enough) the AI is too strong and I’m having very hard time winning the races as I progress in the career mode. One crash can instantly destroy the whole race and you end up being in the last, even if my car meet the required rank. This is just pure pain. If the AI was a little more nicer then it would’ve been nice. And as a former Asphalt 8 player I hate this blueprint system. It takes literally forever to get new cars and also it requires luck. And I can’t even complete in a lot of daily/special events because they often require certain cars which are almost impossible to get by the events expire. I just prefer the old system that lets you buy any car you want with in-game money or token. I for one think this game is not very friendly. Graphics are so good but I don’t understand why people are actually enjoying this game.

What I think. 1.This is a very good game but it has serious problems like progression sometimes when your progress even when you upgrade car fully you have to earn some more blueprints for your car to star up so you can upgrade some more and this is when the game starts getting difficult I understand making a game difficult but just making it difficult when you can’t do anything about it is rather frustrating especially in the shop and they don’t have the specific blueprints your looking for in the shop. 2.Multiplayer I absolutely love the idea but when I’m trying to compete others their cars are wwwwwwwwaaaaayyyyyy faster than mine even when my car is maxed upgraded as far as the current star rank would let me.I also think that there are some flaws too there have been multiple times where I’m in a good position but then car just lands on top of my car and I crash and have no hope of even winning I know that causing other people to crash is normal but when your competing against others and it wasn’t because your driving skills and you lose that rrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyy bothers me.

Absolutely stunning, but...... As soon as a saw that Asphalt 9 was out in stores, there was no debate for me to download it. I love the new touchdrive because before, it was hard to play on the go because you had to have space and couldn’t really race while you were moving. The graphics are absolutely fantastic and I can’t fathom how much time it took to perfect them. The cinematic’s are really cool and I love all the new animations. My only complaints I have with this game are that when you play on multiplayer, it matches you up with players that have way better cars and stuff than you. It makes it almost impossible to get first place. Other than this, my only other problem is that it doesn’t have FULL controller support. I use the Moga Rebel: IOS gaming controller, for gaming and it worked great with Asphalt 8. Now with Asphalt 9, I cant use it on the main screens. It only works when you get into a race. If you could, please fix this in the next update! Other than those two things, I have no other complaints. This is such an amazing game!

Multiplayer is hot garbage. If you let the AI drive for you because it’s too hard to steer on your own, called Touch Drive, and you “change lanes” you move in such a way that you cannot replicate without using Touch Drive. It allows you to quickly jerk into the next lane at full speed...which you can’t do if you are actually steering and playing on your own. So, what if there is a car in-between you and the next “lane” while using Touch Drive? Well, you bash right into them without even slowing down and you can do that over and over again until you knock them out, of course! There is no way to bash into someone who is using Touch Drive and have any impact on their direction or speed unless you are also using Touch Drive. The game is good. The campaign is only really there to give you cars. The real longevity here is in multiplayer and it’s seriously bad. There is no consistency is which car will be knocked down, there’s rubber banding alllll the time, and people using Touch Drive on top of it just destroys an otherwise good game. Make multiplayer leagues for those with and without Touch Drive, drastically tone down the “lane” switching ability, or give those who choose to actually play the game without an AI the ability to jerk rapidly around like everyone else magically can.

Fun but paid to win-PLEASE READ FIRST BEFORE DOWNLOAD. The game really fun and with every car you feel like you are going fast but it is paid is paid to win playing multiplayer you’ll realize that if you don’t pay for cards to upgrade and unlock cars. Which by the way, is the worse system I’ve seen in any game to be honest. It takes way to long to get cars and it feels like they are force feeding you with the shop thing they have. And unless you want to spend a lot on “5 card packs” to only get 1 card for 5 individual cars which btw need around 30 cards is a waste of time. Not to mention if you are not in the right league in the only multiplayer ranked mode you can’t use that car in multiplayer depending on if you bought a bundle for it. Not only that you cannot pass the bronze league or as I like to call it the “beginning of pay2win league” if you do not wanna pay anything like me. It’s a proven fact... you would think you can but I’m a really great racer and the highest I went without paying a dime in that ranked mode was, you ready...21,375th place in the bronze league with the camero with a ranking of 1,057.... the next race I got 4th place and lost to 3 cars that are right in the store, fully upgraded... that’s not even THE SAME CLASS OF CAR. Oh yeah and here’s the best part. There are Chinese hackers. Yayyyy I played five lamb is in the bronze league and got smoked in those races. Now in in 61,590th place....so do you really still want to download?

Multiplayer section is hacked BADLY!!!. I really like playing this game. From the different levels/ seasons/ vehicle to the stunning graphics, they make of this game a great “passing of time” type of app. However, the multiplayer section ain’t a a real multiplayer at all!!! The app try’s to fool you by saying that, after you have selected your vehicle, the game is “searching for players and locations.” Lie. This is a complete lie. And a really bad one. The game has been coded on this section that even if you run your best race (starting off first, perfect runs and such) you will barely win. Opponents will crash with you and destroy your vehicle. Let me explain, If you start the race in first place and stay in first place you’re likely to keep that position. If you find yourself in the fifth, sixth or last position, the “other randomly selected players” will NEVER let you win. I’m guessing they are so good you never get the chance to chase them down. They even BULLY your car and make you crash. In summary, be aware the game was design to make you loose in the most fashionable way possible.

A game once playable... As other reviewers have mentioned, I too had been playing Asphalt for a long time now. I reallly like the game when it first started and all you need is patience to get the car. Though at the time I was playing, there were spawners and high level drivers (which I don’t know how they were ahead of getting new cars before being published nor starting from a score of 20 then a few hours would end up to thousands 😂). And up until today, more and more spawners are showing up in which I don’t like at all. I play with the “fun” playing the game to win or lose but not loose to a cheater. The race tracks are challenging but what challenge if on special event you can only play with a certain car and if you do, you have to shell out $$$ to play it. As mentioned by other reviewers again, you have pay to get the playable cars on event if you wan to play of course. In addition, they have incorporated more patrol cars in which it’ll be harder sometimes to get to the finish line (challenge) specially if you have a slow car and also instilling hate to LE’s (my opinion). In the multiplayer game, there are a lot of spawners as well as in my team and the game has allowed higher league to play in the lower league. In which you won’t get no chance to win. I know some racers have the ability to race at speed, no doubt about it but please let the game be as before. Well coded, played for fun and not p2p…play for profit.

Ok, but more improvement required. I played this game for about 4+ months. I have been met with what this company normally doesn’t do. I also have a few complaints. 1 is that that customer service is terrible. I sent a problem that I’m having where the E-mail was sent on April 25th of this year. It’s almost been a month, and I still can’t find any other E-mail besides that one single E-mail saying that my request has been received. I checked every mailbox. Don’t tell me to check any mailbox because I checked every single one. I have to reformat that so this company would understand. Another thing is that eventually you have to stop playing for a really long time because you can only do things with higher class cars, which means this game isn’t completely free. It seems as though you have to pay to actually continue playing the game. And finally, I hate the fact that anyone can take ownership of other people’s clubs just because they’re inactive on the game. This means that someone can hatch a plan to delete any club or kick you out of it. This can be a club with your friends and you can possibly not play in the same club together anymore. Honestly though, what happened to this company? Just a standard company making games now turned into trying to get every penny out of everyone’s pocket.

It’s great but needs improvement. Asphalt 9 was something that I was very excited for I was waiting to see what they were going to do with it compared to asphalt 8 which has always been one of my favorite games for a while until I heard of asphalt 9. I liked it starting of I like the touch drive because I find it better because the normal steering I would normally accidentally crash or go out of bounds but now I like how it steers and how you can also turn it you like the manual steering. But there is also one thing that I’m Shute a lot of people face in this game and it’s that it all starts of good in the first season then you make to the second and your like wow I can’t wait to get better cars in the third season but you get stuck at the middle at season 2. And your almost forced to pay money you can’t upgrade I checked over and over all the possible ones and there all on the red and my cars aren’t able to race and so now I do not know what to do. Except wait there until I can star up at least one of my cars

Fun game, made by the greedy. In my 39 years of existence I have never seen a game charge as much in the store as Asphalt. I'm not made of money so I can't afford to by stuff from the store. Even if I had money, buying the full blueprint for a car might end up costing you hundreds of dollars. I get they need to make money and I'd probably give them some of my hard earned money if it wasn't so outrageously expensive. I mean buying video game car for $100 dollars is just insane. I bet if they lowered their prices they would make more money. There's a ton of people willing to spend $20 to get what they need, but there's a very small portion of society than can afford to spend hundreds on ONE vehicle. I'm at loss as progression in the game has come to basically a stand still. I can't progress in the campaign because I don't have the right cars. In order to get the right car I have to play the same 2 multiplayer games over and over and over and over again. I may may play 1000 more races and still not be any closer to getting the car I need. Overall, game is fun until you realize you can't progress without spending hundreds of dollars. You very quickly get bored and stop playing.

Poor multiplayer explain. First, I wanna be clear that I do enjoy the game, for the most part. The reason I’m rating it 3star is as my title stated, the multiplayer portion of the game. It lacks explain of basically everything. Well, people might think everything is entirely the same as campaign and daily mission. But that’s not the case. For a week of playing I’ve reached platinum level twice now. (And most of the time it is just pain)I still have little to no idea how my opponent are being picked, what indicate my starting position, how is the rating actually changing after the match is done and most importantly, stunts. It happened to me multiple times that when I try stunt someone, with a solid hit, I am being put to a complete stop. That I try to land on someone(he is not doing 360) but I’m instead being stunt. That when in air doing 360, I’m being stunt by others doing 360 or having shockwave in air. And vice versa. Stunt is being weighted so much in multiplayer, once being stunt, it is likely to only possible to compete with others that’s being stunt. I strongly suggest that Gameloft do something about this multiplayer unclearness.

I Love the series but this one is pay to win. So first of all, I just want to tell you before you get this game the game it’s extremely hard at chapter 4 so here’s what I want to tell you. I love the asphalt games I’ve been playing it sense asphalt urban GT on my DS and they were good back then let me get back to the point. So this game is basically pay to win and the reason why is because they use these things called packs ( and before you start calling me a Darren remember what I said I’ve been playing these games for a long time) so about the packs I have done a test if you need a card for your car you only have a 7% chance of getting that card and you have a 93% chance of getting a card you don’t need (and yes, I’ve used my own money to test this out)back to the point so basically the game is very hard to beat because of that technique they use so I’m just writing review to warn you. (Yes the game is fun but Ubisoft does have some tricks up their sleeves) i just don’t like how the games have changed they turned from having (optional) ingame money to shoving offers in your face every 30 seconds it makes me sad how these games have changed 😔. So I would recommend getting the game, but don’t be surprised if they shove a bunch of offers in your face every few seconds have fun gaming.🕹️

Great game, great graphics but.... This game simply amazed me at first. The graphics are great, the places you can go a great, and so is the variety of cars. However as I got into this game I noticed that unlike in the 8th game you couldn’t buy cars with coins. What’s up with that? I have to race for a long time constantly running out of gas just to unlock the next car? Another problem is that the races are to short. The races in the 8th game were much longer and you could have more than one lap, meanwhile in this game the races are a minute thirty at most and you can only have on lap? The touchdrive feature is great for beginners but once you start playing the game it just is boring. If you change the controls t It still feels whacky and the drifting is super inefficient. The main lobby is super complex and it took me 15 minutes to figure out what everything is. Lastly, the modes have ZERO variety. Asphalt 8 had many modes like knockdown, gate drift, and elimination, meanwhile this has normal and a mode with a clock. This game needs improvement but also has its good views. I recommend asphalt 8 if you want a good, fun racing game.

I love it but needs balance. Legendary game no arguments. Amazing graphics. The driving itself is over the top but that’s the asphalt experience and it’s really fun. And if I still want to progress but play casually I can with the touch drive feature that was totally genius. I hesitated to play asphalt 8 sometimes because it really required you to be focused on the game. But now I can still progress if don’t have both hands free. But I must say I would never take away the traditional driving controls completely because I feel like that’s the only way to enjoy a true asphalt experience. Anyways, I miss the ability to just practice on tracks without it taking away from the cars gas tanks because I want to master the tracks or play an unlimited amount even if it means not getting rewarded for it. Another thing the game needs some balance in single player. My cars rank could be 300 above the recommended rank and I lose with or without touchdrive on. One thing that could help this I noticed is when I get a knockdown the npc will spawn in front of me yet when I crash I automatically am moved to last place. I also wish you could just restart a race when something like that happens rather then finish or quit just to wait all that time to boot up the same race again. Well I hope you guys at game loft read this because I saw there were 600,000 reviews and this will probably be buried anyway haha.

App routinely FAKES Internet connection failures horribly impacts gameplay. I downloaded this app one week ago. I have spent $60. I am already close to quitting this game and deleting it because the game routinely fakes Internet connection failures. It will crash the game in the middle of races causing you to lose your credit or energy. It will also routinely crash during the playing of the advertisements that you say you will watch to earn extra credit after a race. Those videos will play a long time and then ultimately crash the app entirely. The waste of time is becoming maddening and is enough to make me seriously consider quitting already… I woke up the next morning after initially trying to post this msg the previous night. And tried 4 races using 8 of my 10 tickets and the game crashed every time… this is my only device on my Wi-Fi the iOS is updated and my connection is very strong. It’s the app itself that is doing this… my time is more valuable than the headache this is intentionally trying to cause…all said, my money is already spent but at this point but SO WHAT, IM DONE YOU LOST A POSSIBLE LONG TERM CUSTOMER… I DELETED THIS APP.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Steer clear of this game. It is gambling. It fuels addiction to gambling. If you have any addiction problem, do NOT get this game. It preys on victims of addiction to gambling. I spent $70+ on this game and it still did not justify my spending. It still showcased more to buy and more to try to buy and spend. It should be illegal to have this in my state of virginia. And it could destroy video gaming, especially there being esports. It false advertises that if you buy a card pack or new car for the $90 for an a class car that you will win more at th game but you dont win more when you spend money! The game works to just get money from you. It does not give you anything better when you purchase anything. It just gets you to try to pay more and pay more in any way it can. Even if you bought every thing in the game and unlocked everything in the game, you cant win competitions, or career modes more. But it portrays that you will win if you pay money. You will not win more if you pay more. It will just try to make you pay more and more. Thats false advertisement, thats gambling. Thats not legal in the state of virginia. Stay away from this game unless you have thousands of dollars to waste.

Needs work. I personally love Asphalt 9. I find that the game has great potential, and with its stunning graphics, exciting gameplay, and tolerance of different styles of playing, what’s not to love? The problem is though, this game is designed to try to get people to pay money. I personally have not payed a single cent on this game. Instead, I’ve dealt with the add’s, knowing that they were helping support the game. That changed though. The game went from having casual players come across adds occasionally to having to pay $20-$100 to complete special events. On the topic of special events, why is it that you have requirements for people to use specific cars that most players have worked hard to get, then just put a price tag of $20 on the hours that the player has spent to reach this point? It’s not right!!! One more problem is on the topic of ads. I use ads whenever I can. I’m all for the free stuff. My problem is that the game will go and claim that there is a poor internet connection and it takes me another 10-15 seconds to get the ad to run, even though I have a great internet connection. And while 10-15 seconds doesn’t seem like a lot, after 10-20 ads, the time compounds on itself. Another problem is that it will only allow you to watch so many ads before claiming “no ads are available”. There definitely aren’t any ads available, one thinks to themselves while sitting through a random ad that popped up after they went to the home tab.

Unplayable. I’ve always been a fan of of racing games. Especially asphalt. When this game first came out I waited a little bit and downloaded it. The game is amazing, but as soon as you get to chapter 2 the opposite happens. The game starts to get unplayable for example class b rookie. You have to get the Porsche. It’s pretty easy to get 20 of them but the other 5 are in BWM. In BWM your pretty much forced to use a one star Hommage and with the recommended ranks and the difficulty there is no way you can get past the level which means there is pretty much no way to get the Porsche. Well you can buy the Porsche from the legend store right, well with the recommended rank and the difficulty your forced to upgrade which cost coins. At this point where you need class b where I am I either don’t have enough cards or coins. So only way to get enough coins is you guessed it, REAL MONEY. And tokens are for coins too, but then you need enough. So you have to pay with real money again. People are not going to waste all there money on a game so I have some suggestions that you could take to make the game not pay to win and fun. My first and only suggestion is to take other peoples suggestions. They have some great ideas to make the game more fun and enjoyable. Again the game it’s self is very good but it’s pay to win so you have to pay in order to win. This game has ruined my love for asphalt and unless you make it playable I WILL NEVER LOVE ASPHALT AGAIN.

Stay away from this game until they fix the last update!!. Gameloft let’s players cheat in multiplayer & does nothing about it, I encounter a hacker every time I play 3-4 multiplayer races, I’ve been a loyal & honest player from day one & I’m sick of get cheated out of races, points & rewards, the multiplayer is the worst I’ve ever seen & if you don’t believe me go on any social media website & read what current players think about it, also if you want to be able to compete in this game you better be extra wealthy because everything cost a small fortune....save your money & you can buy a real car & I’m not talking a piece of junk...you can buy a Mustang GT or Camaro SS or something along those lines....Gameloft has let the cheaters/hackers rule the game & refuses to do anything to them..but let them continue to cheat other people out of rewards, Grandprix is plaqued with hacker & the Key Cars are the worst idea ever...unless your Gameloft & you get all that money from card packs, parents shouldn’t let their kids play this game because it is full of bullies.....if you don’t believe me just play a few races in multiplayer & join all the social media sites & then you will quickly find out....walk away & don’t download this game!!!!

Pay to win. To be honest i have been a long time asphalt fan which also means i pay close attention to the game but when i first downloaded the gameit felt different the graphics felt smoother and the cars looked cooler some new mechanics added to the game to make it fun and enjoyable but after a week of playing I noticed that some main parts of the game try to bribe you into buying credits cars and sometimes you may even need tuning. As a long time fan i feel that the developers at GameLoft are more interested in making deals and money and are kind of forgetting the whole point of the game that makes players comeback all the time. The Fun, yes the races are fun and awesome but you can’t really have the best experience in the game if you keep having to grind and spend hours of your day just trying to get 5 useless piece s 🕵️‍♂️ to a D or C class car that will just need more blueprints to rank up even just one time its really frustrating to see a lot of potential in a game( not that it still doesn’t) go to waste just because the developers are getting a little money hungry 🤤 i know you guys won’t see this and if you did you wouldn’t care at all but if you want to get more people to play more you should start on those cards pieces or whatever you call them because thats the main problem that I have and I’m sure many other have as well. Should have a console/pc counterpart. This game is really beautiful and amazing with nice smooth exhilarating gameplay and I honestly think there should be a version for the big boys out there like pc or console bc I think that if they do move to that or expand they will get a lot of attention and will get the eyes of people from the gameplay to the graphics to the vast variety or stuff u can do. I’ve never had a problem with this game yet and even if I do it’s alright bc everything has problems nothing is perfect but I can say that this game is not boring and feels awesome to play and win. Also the music is amazing and I enjoy it so much. P.S. Developers you guys keep doing your thing and do what u think will make the game and the brand better but just make sure u aren’t reaching to become rich or make money but focus on making ur brand better and the brand everyone knows when they hear it and the games they remember like “oh yea that game that has such beautiful graphics and brought so much enjoyment” type of thinking when they think of u. After a while.... The one of the new driving controls just make the game not fun, all you have to do is tap the path you want to take. I know you can change your controls (which makes me question the existence of touchdrive) but they feel weird too, like where is the accelerating button? The graphics are beautiful and are way better than the 8th game, but I wish I could configure them. I absolutely hate the refilling mechanic too... 6 races before you have to switch cars... I do not like that part of the game at all. Also in-game in the pause. menu there is no radio... I can’t even change the music anymore. Sure there are new content and cooler looking cars but, why were so much features that I liked about the 8th game removed? The game feels a bit choppy and I cannot even feel any 60 fps in-game which is a turn-off. Hopefully this game receives more better features in future updates... if not then I’d rather go back to the 8th game. Edit: After spending a bit more time with the game, I found parts of the game that were enjoyable to me and some of them even make up for the flaws that I found...

Legends Launch. This game is definitely different from Asphalt 8. I have been playing since the world wide launch. Level up the cars ASAP to compete in Time Limited Events and make drifting a little easier. I’m not a fan of blueprints but getting a few cars to play with at the beginning is better than nothing. The police chases are a great addition to gameplay. Maybe in later updates the programmers can add other police cars from the other countries. I wouldn’t mind being chased by immigration too. The maps are awesome. I crashed a few times because I was trying to take in the scenery, lol. The clubs are added rewards so join or create your own ASAP. All in all, I enjoy the uniqueness this game has brought to the Asphalt family. Tip: On IOS, Top right corner, click on gear behind G icon, then go to games settings, then to controls, select option to drive. After tutorial, I selected my driving style... tilt to steer. Another tip, turn on notifications get the free tokens and then turn them off if you want to.

Great game but,,,,,,. Once again, great game, I literally open & play this game about 20 times a day or more! I’ll probably play this game forever! That being said, could you please please please unlock more class S cars? I’ve been playing this game for well over a year now & most of the same class S cars still sitting there! Like the Bugatti Chiron or Terzo millennio, why you make these cars difficult to obtain? I know you have to make money but Can’t you at least lower the blueprint amount? I’ve obtained more A & B & C & D cars fully upgraded but neither one were S cars! I just don’t understand why is Gameloft taking so freakin long to unlock them?! How about putting a class S car in the car hunt series & give us a chance to unlock? also,, what about the Bailey Blade GT1? That car has been out for well over a year now & there’s absolutely no way to obtain the blueprints to upgrade the car! I been sitting on the same measily (1 star) 19 of 25 blueprints since it came out almost 2 years ago! What in the world Gameloft is waiting for?!? Where’s the BAILEY BLADE? BAILEY BLADE? Good but now my screen goes black and a white loading circle appears. When I get a game I look at the reviews but I didn’t pay much attention to them this time and I should have because at first the game was amazing. So I downloaded this game around New Year’s Eve and I have had it for about 4 days give or take. But on the 4th day this happened, so I was playing it like normal when all of a sudden my screen goes black and a white loading circle appears at first I thought it was just an add so I waited for about a minute or so but nothing happened so I got off and got back on thinking it was nothing but I was very wrong I still don’t know what is wrong with the game but now if I’m not constantly doing races then the black screen and the white loading circle appears and sometimes it comes on immediately after I get on!!!!! Like I said I don’t know what is wrong but it is the game because all of my other games are working just fine. But I would like the DEVELOPER(S) to fix this and fast because I like this game just FIX THE BUGGS NOW! And I’m a kid so if I have to type this review because of the bugs then that’s saying something considering that this game is for kids! Pay2ween. I started playing this game a few weeks ago now usually in games the beginning is fairly easy so the player can get a hold on it. But once you progress far enough the cars are so expensive and they take forever to get and when you get them there not good enough forcing you to pay money. This game is basically a scam itself, I mean yeah the graphics are good for a free game but seriously. Stop scamming little kids. Also if that isn’t enough to make you update the game and make it more enjoyable for the community, bugs.... there are MANY bugs in this game. My cousin plays the game a lot and he also spends lots of money on it, he told me to buy a car with money because it would help you a lot. So i bought a 10 dollar car. Not much until they charged me again because apparently “ Uh oh. We had an error trying to confirm the purchase, please pay again.” I was not willing to pay again, but my cousin used his money to pay it for me really sweet of him except yes I did get the car but not the credits it also promised me. All in all this game is fun but it’s such a pay2ween and even when you get your car you payed for its not enough to progress far enough. Please for the love of cheese and crackers fix your bugs stop scamming little kids and make cars easier to get. Please and thank you.

Fun game but becoming more and more unplayable. The game is fun and the mechanics are really great most of the time. It even has a modern car selection which isn’t always the case with racing games. However, Gameloft always finds ways to become more and more morally bankrupt charging absurd prices for little rewards. But, if you don’t pay for the bundles you won’t even have a chance at even just unlocking the special event car. These aren’t just the typical 1-10 dollar purchases; these are the 20, 50, 100 dollar packages. You even have to purchase them many times to actually see an effect. For example, some past special events required you to garner 45 “blueprints” to unlock a car. If you didn’t have a massive reserve of in-game tokens, then you had to purchase the bundles where you got some in-game currency and 15x blueprints. Those bundles were 50 dollars each (marked as 70% off or somewhere near that). Now, they’re going to implement season passes with 50 day seasons basically securing their future in a subscription-based game. The developers of this game of clearly thought of their loyal base as merely just bottomless wallets and it feels insulting.

Improvements. Well usually I’m not the one to review anything but I played asphalt 8 back in high school and loved it. Now asphalt 9 has reached a level 8 couldn’t. Auto drive was dope, the graphics were straight heavenly, the crashing is awesome and everything. The thing that disappoints me is this is more pay to win than play to win. I would rather grind in game than grind in real life to have great cars. The stopping my story mode for the Camaro thing is kinda annoying. It’s like I gotta play different parts of the story to get any blue prints. If you don’t have a B to an A class car you pretty much lose all the multi player/ daily event modes and you won’t get much other wise. I’m not saying change the difficulty but at least in asphalt 8 I could use regular coins to go out and purchase new vehicles. And another thing we should get local multiplayer back. I want to race my friends again. All I wanna do is race my car and get lit upgrades. I don’t want to sit here and be stagnant this game is the most fun but it’s so limited. It got to the point where now I’m just waiting on the free blue prints because I’ve upgraded everything to the point that there’s nothing to upgrade anymore. So please take these changes into consideration.

The game has a good feel when it comes tor racing but you need to increase the options that you offer in this game like quick solo race that was a fun option to play when you were bored because I liked being able to choose the mode or the radio where you could choose the song those were the small features that made asphalt 8 great because you felt you had freedom to do what you want when you want how you want it but I’m not gonna hate because this is just the first model of the game but I hope for improvement in the future in all I recommend both asphalt 8 and 9 can you also make some cars available using credits I like the new system but the old one is Better and can you bring back some of those small details in cars in asphalt 8 but I really do recommend this game to anyone looking for a quality racing experience this game will make you want to challenge yourself to get the best cars which is just what the gaming world needs. So much untapped potential keyword untapped. The graphics are awesome the driving is equally amazing and i truly think this could be one of the best games on the AppStore.... if there wasn’t so many paywalls. I get that it’s supposed to be a grind and yet some of those cars seem unreachable. For example for the best cars you probably need to buy expensive pack costing up to 120 blue coins now that wouldn’t be so bad but the thing is itsnjust a chance you see even in the best packs theirs only a 10 percent chance that you get an epic and assuming you do get it the blueprint system is in the way so that even if you get it youll have to pull that off a good 40 times times just to get the car not to mention star it up so with aveg look 10 packs will get you 40 times 120 is 4800 now this is where the pay wall comes in. 100$ will only get you 4500.. so you’ll have to pay the extra TWENTY DOLLARS FOR JUST 470 tokens to get an epic but thats assuming you get the same one. You starting to see the problem. The problem is their becomes a wall where to obtain something that the players want they must pay forth huge amounts of money or play hundreds of hours its just like ea coincidence I think not. /\ / \ / O \ /_____\

Great game just missing something. Asphalt 7 was the start of my love for this game the immersive experience that the game gives you is absolutely jaw dropping and asphalt 9 legends blew that away just in my opinion it’s missing one thing that I love in the game.... The Steering Wheel option, this opinion made that game just that little bit more better for me but when I saw that it was removed from this game I was heart broken. If I could say one thing please bring back the steering wheel option

AMAZING game. I LOVED this game. It is soooooooooooo much fun to play. I found the controls a bit tricky at first but now it’s easy! You get the hang of it really quickly and you can move forward as fast or slow as you want. It also has goals you must complete which I found added a great extra challenge for me. Another thing I liked about this game is that it doesn’t give you adds every five seconds like some games, in fact, it only gives you adds if you want rewards! I found this game just enjoyable in general and I think that whoever made it did a great job.

Awesome. I love Asphalt 9! It’s completely different to Asphalt 8, (which I also played). Clubs is something I’ve been waiting so long for. Clubs allows you to connect to other players which is fantastic! The career mode is jam-packed full of fun and I never get bored of this game. The new controls are very unique because I’ve never play a game with “Touchdrive” in it. I also am very impressed with the blueprints you have to get to unlock cars. I mean there’s nothing wrong about collecting credits and tokens to get cars but I much prefer collecting blueprints. Why? Well, it makes you play more and also makes it more difficult to get cars, (which doesn’t worry me one little bit.) I am amazed with the multiplayer racing and events. They’ve changed so much from Asphalt 8’s ones. Daily loot is so GOOD! It allows you to challenge what cars you have to get more blueprints. The rewards system has pleased me too. Overall, Asphalt 9 is the game I’ve been dreaming of. The realistic, life-like graphics enhance my experience in the game. The attention to player’s wants astonish me. Not many games that I know of do this! This game has to be one of the best games I’ve played in my life!

The best racing game out there. Lots of fun, great value progression as a free player and no tricks. You can opt to watch ads for extra credits but it’s optional. You can pay real money for upgrades but again, it’s your choice and the game isn’t hamstrung for free player. There’s a auto-steer option for young players. The game graphics and tracks are first rate. A huge amount of work has clearly gone into this game and it’s pacing. Kudos to the developers for making something great in a sea of cheap imitators trying to make a quick buck by duping enthusiastic kids. ♥️

It’s good!. Good game, I like it quite a bit! Some bad parts to it, but some good ones too. I like the option to be able to steer your cars. Or to just simply drift and such. Although there are some amount of paywall, it isn’t entirely necessary and there are cheaper alternatives too. The ads you get (maybe just me) are relatively short and quick, so you don’t have to waste too much time. Not the perfect game but not the worst. The cars look quite nice too, would love to see more exotic ones and newer ones too. I’m sure their working on it.

AI needs improvements. Amazing game. Exceptional graphics and a wide range of cars. This game is good for what it is, but there is one thing that gets on my nerves. The lack of spatial awareness that the AI has is infuriating. They continuously smash into you and refuse to alter course when opposing another vehicle. This especially goes for the police. Not only are they faster that any car in the game, but they also ram you at any opportunity making them extremely annoying to deal with. Not to mention that they only target the player. Apart from that, great game and I look forward to what the future holds.

What?. Hello Gameloft, I’m writing this review because 1. I like this game a lot! 2. Some things your missing in my opinion. Ok first I really like this game! Smooth gameplay, barely any lag, and good graphics. But what I think your missing is, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DEVEL SIXTEEN PROTOTYPE!?!?!!! Why is it not in the game? I mean I’m not trying to be rude but I think you should add the Devel sixteen prototype, I mean it’s a very fast car, probably the fastest car, I think you guys should add the Devel sixteen prototype. It’s good, not as good as 8. This game graphically is amazing but…it really lacks everywhere else to asphalt 8. From the game play and maps to how you get cars, and the option of cars (and there no motorbikes), the credit and token system is all completely flawed is number 9. This game is basically need for speed mobile app, so if you didn’t enjoy that game like I did this won’t be much better. But it’s an alright game. I would say asphalt 8 is better but the game devs have destroyed that game and made it a game no one wants to play anymore. But ehh the games alright.

Escape races are really hard. I would have given this game 5 stars but the escape races are really hard because the game has automatic racing line assistance. Which makes you drive the racing line which is almost always down the middle of the track so its really tough to turn the side of the track to go up the jump and I went through the options seeing if I could turn it off but there’s no option to do so. I would appreciate if there would be an option to turn it off.

Sweet and sour. Awesome game overall.. I love almost pretty much everything. The design is next level for a free game and it doesn’t lag to often (even though I have a crappy WIFI router). I also love the Touch feature though I thought the reaction times for these are kind of slow. I also feel when playing there isn’t that much freedom when it comes to in and selecting races as it always has some type of mission behind it. The Solo Race mode from the last game I really liked so why not give that a crack. That’s all there is to it. Cya

Car Tools!. This app is great and ticks all the boxes on my app list like, great graphics, good music and lots of other cool features! The only thing that doesn’t really work for me is the car features. Now in a lot of car games I have played, there has always been a feature where you can edit the WHEELS and LAYOUT of the car. So the only thing I’d like you to work on is that. Other than that, the graphics, the features (nitro boosts) and the drifting buttons are very efficient and work very well. A lot of games I play have bugs in it that crash the game but this game is the opposite.

Sup. Good game, but too much space, I know it’s a very good graphical game but it literally takes up more than 3GB on my iPad, and also I haven’t played this game for ages like 6 months by now, and when I started playing this which was like mid-2018 I loved it but I deleted it then and now I get the same progress back which is annoying, so please add a reset game button so we can start from the start just because we downloaded the game back, other than those 2 issues the game is very fun. Keep it up developers. ✌️

Asphalt 9 Is Really Good But Could Be Better. So when I played the game I began to really enjoy it and I started playing this game so much that by I had played for a month I was already at stage 4. Called “Ambition Defy Expectations” So By then I started to realize that it’s quite pay 2 win and quite complicated for a car racing game I think it should be a bit more simple and less pay 2 win. Though other wise its a perfect game with many cool options races and more! So I would recommend you this game as long as your willing to pay money commonly. Plus if your a grinder otherwise it will take you VERY long to finish. Though I personally think it’s overall a great game with good graphics, clubs, racing , cars plus more. Though I hope they do update it soon and change it but otherwise you should play considering the game is for free. So overall it’s an awesome game

TOO HARD. hi, I recently started playing this game and I thought it was good, well never mind IT WAS HORRIBLE, I mean sure the graphics are insane. But the races are impossible like in the place where you chose the races, the second box that has 15 races, is literally impossible, beacause the 4th one always puts me at the last spot when it starts, and it gives everyone else a boost but it never lets me go any faster, and yes I have my car level 793, but all the races are very impossible and the 5th race (in the second box) only gives me 10 seconds to go around a literal super long track, and you have to literally have hacks just to beat the level. So In total, I’m sorry but this game I just kinda TRASH. Please fix this-

Amazing Game!. Great graphics! I’m a big graphic person and I love the gorgeous graphics unlike those type of Legends games or what ever that keep popping up on adds on other games and look like great graphics but when you play the graphics are horrible. Not just that this game is a true experience and has almost more ratings then CSR 3 and is only a couple months old this game so I give this a 5 out of 5 rating for graphics on consoles, Keep the great work up!

Save progress stopping me from playing the game. I got this game when it came out then proceeded to delete it for some reason and now I’m trying to play the game again. The game refers me to the customer help site which mind you covers nothing on what I need to know even after countless searches. The only way to get around all this is to remember your id, and well I can’t remember it. So all in all I’m forced to give the game 1 star due to the fact that I literally can’t play it. Please fix this quick! I don’t care about my old progress, why can’t you just implement a “new game” option that every game has. It would save so much time and effort for the people looking to restart their profiles.

Incredible. This game is incredible and very real. It is a lot better than asphalt 8, but there are two maps from asphalt 8 that I would really like to be added onto asphalt 9. One is the aircraft carrier map and the other is the map where they have rockets taking off. Another thing is that there are some major car manufacturers that aren't in this game. there aren’t any Teslas in the game. Other than that this game is really, really good.

Almost perfect. I have been playing Asphalt 9 since near when it first released. I was astonished by the sheer beauty and designwork of this game. The driving mechanics are awesome and the career is overflowing with immense content. My only concern of this game is that you always require an internet connection to play the career. I understand the multiplayer aspect but not the career aspect, which I believe should well and truly be offline. Other than that; Gameloft, you have successfully outdone yourself creating such an amazing game. 👌

Not racing. The big misconception about this game is that you are “racing”. The outcome of the races is preordained. If you have achieved a level preset by the programmers and do not crash then you can win the race. You will notice the other cars keep passing you until just before the end when they slow down dramatically and let you win. The police cars in the races only smash into your car to slow you not the others and there are far too many of them to make the game enjoyable. Basically as seems to be the norm these days, it is a money making machine. In order to progress you need to update your cars which is incredibly slow without spending money. There are better games out there.

Pretty good. Hi, I just got the game on my switch a while ago and I loved it. The controls are easy to use and just really fun to play with. The new cars are great. The new tracks on there are sooo good, they look stunning. The ramps on asphalt 8 (witch I have played) are really weird, they are really slow and just bad I think, but in the new game they are soo much better. Then I downloaded asphalt 9 on my phone and it isn’t loading and I don’t know why. I have got internet connection. But all up this game is a blast, you should get it awesome to play!!! 🙂

Wasn’t as Good as its Predecessor. The game is flat out bad for me. Asphalt 8 was the reason I wanted to buy Asphalt 9. I didn’t play it for long, only played a few hours and deleted the app. Why? There’s two major flaws that this game has to offer. First, is that the loading screen loads way too long. I have full internet connection, yet it still takes me from 10 minutes, to almost 1 hour, just to play the game. Also, I don’t like the function of using choice to decide if you want to do, say, a barrel roll. It gets rid of what you could in Asphalt 8. Even if you could turn off this function in settings, that still doesn’t stop the game from loading. This game in my opinion, has major flaws and will not success all the previous Asphalt games EVER.

The thrill of realism and physics of difference. Asphalt 9 is the best game I’ve ever played. The thrill of the arcade game is much different than other games, the realism and graphics introduces the game to a whole spectrum of physics. The game is exceptionally fun to play with as it crushes cars, sometimes you get destroyed by doing an accident, using your nitro which Gameloft has added since it’s 2013 game Asphalt 8. But the best thing about this game which is so exceptionally fun and addictive is that you go over ramps and there are a lot of cars you can collect using blueprints. They also let you do tricks, multiplayer, events and special events and they added a new feature that Asphalt 8 doesn’t. Creators of Gameloft has added faster cars and more upgrades to the cars which I love most about. It also has the controls which there are three types you can choose. So after this rating, I give Asphalt 9 a 5 star for its thrill of realism and physics of difference in the game.

No Limits concept with prettier graphics. Fun gameplay catered to the hardcore casuals, touchdrive control scheme does everything for you and if you wanted to do some manual controlling to feel like a real game the controls for that are awkward. You have to tap more to the centre of the screen because they decided to put the drift and nitrous button to the edge of the screen making it awkward to turn and drift/nitrous at the same time. Car unlocking is the same more or less as need for speed no limits so you know what to expect going in. Games nice, is a good sequel to 8. But touchdrive control scheme isn't my bread and butter and manual controls don't suit the game style it being really fast pace. E.g. get the no limits controls scheme of flicking down for drift and up for nitrous and left and right whole half's of the screen to turn and slow down the pace of the game and it'd feel smoother. Too fast can make a game seem like it frame skips. "Top class" development companies rarely change based on user feedback, their games been made no need to change it :) with that enjoy the game it's pretty good!

Had this before, now I have an issue. Hey Gameloft and A9:L devs! Absolutely love this game! It’s really fun. Now, when I first got this, I didn’t like it (i was used to the asphalt 8 controls and whatnot). But then I got it on my phone, and was addicted! So I decided to get it for my iPad (what I’m writing this review on) and play on once again! My progress was saved, but I was expecting to start fresh. So I noticed my name was “Driver 2012”, and wanted to change it, but I can’t! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Pretty good. I reckon it’s a pretty good game. Nothing spectacular. Maybe the best mobile game ever. Hope this game gets more popular. A few things I’d like to say though, in the chapter 1 Camaro bit, why is there a level that gives you 3 good blueprints raquire a car that I’m not expected to have? It seems kind of stupid not to just have it in a later level rather than not letting me just 100% chapter 1 and be done with it. Also, the chapter with A class card has a picture of C class cars, and the C class chapter has A class cars, looks kind of weird.

Best car racing game EVER. I really like this game but I think it might need some improvements like having a song selection on the pause menu like asphalt 8, having different game modes, as in like add more not just hunted, it has really good graphics and maybe fix this, once when a new multiplayer season started I was a “ unranked” and I raced someone from the platinum league! Also please don’t put limits on the races/gas tanks per car. Like I was racing on the koniegsegg regara event and it only had 3 gas tanks witch is completely useless! But apart from that this THE BEST RACING GAME EVER!!!!!! P.s please write back editor or someone from the asphalt team.

Beautiful, perfect!. This game is truly legendary. The fact that you can fit all these high quality graphics into a mobile game is just amazing! And the best thing is that there is TouchDrive, much easier so that I can focus on the game and drifting. You don’t have to pay credits for cars, where you can earn cars from experience instead of money. Overall, this game is one of the most epic games I have ever played. Another very well designed game, Gameloft! P.S. For those of you complaining about TouchDrive, you can change the settings so that you can steer manually, although this is a little bit of a difficult system, recommended for advanced players and Asphalt 8 veterans only.

Lendary game. Absolutely fricking love asphalt and now asphalt 9 has touch drive (you don’t have to steer) and you don’t have to pay a gazillion in game money to get new cars because it’s all blueprints that you win from races or get from card packs and individual from the shop!!! That’s absolutely amazing because in asphalt 8 it would take days to get new cars but now it just takes up to a day (depending on skill level and if cards are in shop) and that is a huge game changer!!! Sadly I haven’t been able to do much multiplayer yet (not one race) but that’s just because it’s brand spanken new!! Definitely recommend to ANYONE AND EVERYONE!!! 10/10

Good game but keeps crashing after update/forces Ads. Of course those who’ve playing Asphalt for years know how great this game is but recently after the latest December 2020 update game keeps crashing, ads freeze screen and you can’t continue to see rewards. Game has to be closed, restarted and then continued. Also, the Ad notification keeps coming up on the screen despite the fact that it says you are not obliged to opt in. It forces itself every time and it’s extremely annoying. After all these years, I’m sad to say I’ll be deleting it perhaps until an Asphalt 10 is up that respect privacy and freedom of choice and does not force itself on the end user. Adios!

Asphalt 9 is the king of the car racing world. Asphalt nine, is, quite simply, one of the best games in the car genre. I mean, LOOK AT THE backgrounds, the realistic cars, the thrill of speeding through the ground in nitro shockwaves knocking other players off their backs…😄 P.S. this has the most realistic graphics of any car game I’ve ever seen. I’m surprised this doesn’t cost money. (Though I’ve heard that you’re a greedy company, but it’s sorta hard to believe)

Greedy Gameloft killed this game. I have been playing this game for over 3 years every single day and have loved it, but in the last year Gameloft (or GreedyLoft as players now call them) have killed this game and made it impossible to play and win without spending a ton of hard cash. It was a superb and flawless game which I actually didn’t mind spending money on to unlock rare cars, but now it’s gone too far and players are leaving in drones because even the standard new cars need hard money to unlock. GreedyLoft have taken an amazing platform and ruined it. Shame on you Gameloft for killing what was probably the best mobile game ever.

Exceptional, but needs more. I’m choosing to give it 5 stars because although I say in the title my only complaint is that the game needs more, this is a bit of a shallow argument that is sure to be voided by coming updates. This game is a huge step up from asphalt 8. The graphics are unbelievable, to a point where it has me guessing how you were able to squeeze photo realism into a simple phone! The gameplay is just as fun, if not more exciting than the previous asphalt titles. You’re also able to progress relatively fast, which is also a nice relief from the usual pay to play style of most iPhone games. Overall, this game is outstanding and is truly a hallmark in gameloft’s game making journey, and a figure that other racing games should look up to.

A bit boring.... I personally believe that this game is boring I did enjoy when I first started the game but now that I’ve played it, it has started to become more boring maybe you could add a live game where you could vs against actual people ( please tell me if you can do this already) and/or you could make the races a little bit longer as they are so short, I do really enjoy this game but 1 last thing the game needs an update on the controls as when I played without auto-drive I could not turn. Absolutely Exceptional but why does it need internet to play. I have only been playing for 2 days and I think everything is amazing especially the graphics but the only downside is why does it need internet to play career mode. Is it because of the rewards you get and to collect them you need internet but can’t you not collect them until you have internet again. Please make it like Asphalt 8 how you can play career and not need WiFi but apart from that I think this is a fabulous game. Keep up the good work!!

Great game, has its glitches though and no support. I love this game, I’m an asphalt 8 veteran, so this game is just amazing and somewhat better. BUT I have had glitches and the game crashing. I’m not playing on an old device, and I have had issues that I’ve tried to contact the support services, but they have totally ignored me. And I haven’t received any compensation for these glitches. A great game, great mechanics, maybe some slight improvements for perhaps adjusting the controls’ positions for touch drive, but apart from these issues I have loved it.

Unfair. This game is amazing, totally like to play it but there’s a problem. Multiplayer master series p it’s so hard to win that everybody drives recklessly and that’s not the only problem when I come last as a reward I lose up 10 points for coming last, that makes playing this game very to hard and challenging and I honestly hate, hate it a lot so plz make that if you come last in master series you at least get 1 point instead of losing 10 points because it’s very difficult to come in 1st place in master series.

Needs better tutorial. This is a great game and coming from me that’s saying a great deal. I usually become bored very quickly with most games but Asphalt 9 has taken my interest and I quite enjoy playing it. It does however have some tutorial problems. The tutorials give the new players only the basic of basics as to how to play the game. The developers need to update these to include how certain functions are to be performed. They show you how to perform a 360 spin but that’s about it. Need to include how to perform “Perfect Nitros” and and any other functions which are sometimes necessary to progress within the game. Other than this I would highly recommend this game to anyone who’s into online racing games. A double thumbs up from me.

BEST GAME I HAVE ON MY COMPUTER. I don’t know why I am writing this on my iPad when the game is on my computer and my computer is not even an apple computer but I want to say that this is better than asphalt 8 because they have actual interiors and for the events you have the chance of actually completing the stage without having to own the car. I sort of take that back I can’t even do the newest event based on the sf90. I can’t even do the first stage because I don’t own the ferrari Roma. Kinda dissatisfied

Ghost cars???. What is it with the weird glowing red ghost cars in multiplayer? Are these players with poor connections? If yes, can’t they just be removed from the race? They can drive through other cars and obstacles disappear and then reappear well ahead of where they were, frequently stop completely and then reappear at full speed and don’t appear affected by other racers. Can the developers please look at this? The graphics are amazing, and the sound affects brilliant but this is very frustrating when you are trying to grind through the levels to upgrade your cars and progress is delayed by vehicles which have an unfair advantage. Will return with 5 stars if this glitch is fixed. P.s. are there some new tracks coming?

My cars wont race at a red rank on my tablet but my controller will let me. I am stuck at a part where none of my cars have enough rank and they are all two stars. Also my controller lets me rank my DS E-TENSE to 1557 whereas on my tablet; 1503. So why do you not allow tablets players to race with a red rank? I have been stuck in the start of chapter two on the tablet because of that reason. Please fix that so I do not have to spend three months trying to get my DS E-TENSE to three stars. Where’s my progress. I got asphalt 9 because of asphalt 8 which was pretty much perfect and saved my progress if I accidentally deleted it. Asphalt 9 was a bit above standard but it needed handling improvements. But now it is terrible it got rid of half my progress please help it also got rid of my club that I created and everything from the gearheads or whatever in season 1 welcome to Asphalt 9 or something please help. Or you have lost a user. It also takes so long to load I could go to McDonald’s and get a burger and eat it and the game still didn’t load.

The game is great but somehow there is glitch and it’s annoying. So this glitch happens quite often, I’d say. This is how it usually is: Somehow, the game just snapped me back to my phone's main page as if I quit the app entirely on purpose (which I did not). It wasn't even loading in the background. This only occurred after I press play or even while in the middle of the game. And so I thought the game didn't register and so I wouldn't have a gas ticket spent, but no, the game was registered and I was not refunded with a gas ticket. This was really annoying and devalued the whole gameplay experience.

The best car game on iPad. This is a very good racing game so good it should cost money but because I said this does not mean it should like what if someone songs a car game and this is the one but he can’t use his parents credit card so ya don’t change the game so that you have to pay for it that will be bad I started playing this on a iPad Pro at Harvey Norman and I wonted it coz it was really fun😃 so that is how I started play this awesome game so you get what I mean it is the BEST car game ever five stars ❤️🧡💛💚💙

Great game but needs improvements. Overall the game looks very good and there's plenty to do. The new card system with the cars makes it much easier to obtain them compared to asphalt 8. The ever changing world and dynamic gameplay are really nice to look at. This mixes well with the new music which seems to also change dependant on what you're doing. the cars drive OK. there's good mechanics incorporated into them, they're just very hard to control since when you're turning it's all or nothing. i can see this turning into a slow grind further down the track, as with all F2P titles but as of right now i'm having fun with it. improvment suggestions: -force touch needs to be used in some way. using it for turning sensitivity or activating drift would be nice. - give an option to change position and size of the button layouts. -an option to hide the HUD would be good since it's such a great looking game. -it would be nice if stunts gave currency like in the last game, it doesn't have to be much, just something.

Great game with poor management. Asphalt 9 is a blast to play. It's unique, it's fun, it's fast-paced, and it's decently well polished underneath the few physics and graphical errors. The problem lies with the current management of the game. Significant content promised months ago still hasn't come, cars are still paywalled in certain circumstances, and the developers seldom listen to feedback given to them, and don't really seem to care. Despite this, I still think a 4 star rating is reasonable. Cheaper, older cars that are still available from time-to-time are still competitive enough to have fun with, and while the direction of the game is a little uncertain, I'm genuinely excited to see how this game evolves over the next year.

Was so good but now my child has lost all his progress. My son had be em playing this for a couple of years and was his favourite game. A couple of months ago however, we needed to repair his device. I saved all his apps and games in the cloud before restoring to factory settings, and all his other apps and games were restored in the reloading process after his device was fixed. He hadn’t played Asphalt 9 for a little while and a couple of days ago, we discovered that ALL the progress he had made and all the money I paid in to this game over the last 2 years has been lost. I have tried to look in the app settings to try to restore purchases or login again but I’m not able to find anywhere that I can do this. Please help!!

Smurfing problem needs fixing. Hello Gameloft it’s very likely you will not reply but if you do read this I just have a bit of a problem with multiplayer lately I’ve been playing a lot of multiplayer games with silver players in bronze league apparently they have the better cars with higher rank than all of the bronze league players and I am ashamed because everyone is pretty much using this technique just to gain points so can you please add a some sort of bot which will match other players car ranks with the players car rank Thank you

Great job!. I personally found this to be a great, fun and thrilling game. I love the way of how you progress through levels car, with the best part being that you actually kind of have to work for it! The only thing that could probably improve is giving better instructions for people to follow when going from one rank to another as well as just a few common lag!

Recent update is the worst in a long time. Usually when a new season comes out I can purchase the legend pass immediately without much concern about value for money because it’s reliably pretty good. That’s why when the season switched over the other day, I was surprised to see that Gameloft put out the worst legend pass they have yet. Not a single blueprint for a new car. The exclusive car is one of the worst in its class, practically unusable in multiplayer. Recycling content this long after the game’s release tells me A9 is on its last legs. I am not buying this month’s legend pass and it’ll take something pretty impressive to convince me next time around.

Connection error. Just got the game but, it loads and an icon pops up that reads...”connection error” I did everything I could to download the game, such as restarting my iPad, getting rid of storage, Wifi is perfect but, the game cannot load,why.

Cool action packed game. Asphalt is a very fun and nice game. For all of you that say this game does everything for you check the settings and see if you can change the driving mode. Also it’s much easier to get cars on blue prints in asphalt 9 than in asphalt 8. Just continue with your progress in the game ,participate in daily events and you’ll get the most exotic cars

Worst game ever. I felt that asphalt 8 was far better and can’t compare to this. I can’t even play anymore because it continually asks for my id There’s stupid police car that goes super fast and is automatically in front of you 0/10

Stuck. Stuck on career mode because my car isn’t good enough to pass

Bad. Asphalt 8 is a great game, but asphalt 9 has completely ruined asphalt games for me. You cannot buy cars with currency and there is auto acceleration and turning. Even though you can turn this off, it is unfair for the people who are good at racing. Aside from the graphics and small racing improvements, this game is not better than asphalt 8.

This is scam. Downloaded and started playing since I used to play asphalt before. Got hooked right away and started spending money on this game. After spending over $150 now the game starts giving me this bogus error that my phone is not connected to internet and I cannot get into the game or play. Gonna make sure nobody plays this game on mobile. I’m going to tell my community of 2.5 million regarding this. Enjoy the reduction in player base

Garbage Pay To Win. This is a classic addiction based slot machine game… skinned as a car racing game. Every aspect, and I mean every aspect of play is monetized. The progression system is designed to force you to spend money. The parts systems is designed to force you to spend money. The gas system is designed to force you to spend money. Don’t want to spend money? Enjoy watching the AI zoom past you in cars you’re not even allowed to use. The only fun part of this game is the first hour or so of tutorial. In addiction theory this is referred to as the “hook.” Once the game hooks you, it simply makes it impossible to win until you pay. It’s a pity, because somewhere under the mountain of slot machine style garbage there’s a fun racing game. You won’t get to play it though, not unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars on a horribly balanced masterpiece of hostile design. The most frustrating thing is how stupid the design is. By making the game actually un-winnable without paying out the wazoo you force players off your game and reduce the chance they’ll spend money to zero. Don’t bother playing this garbage. Go buy a real racing game that isn’t0 trying to steal your wallet.

Awful. Who wants a driving game that you don’t actually drive? Who ever came up with this concept should be fired. What a waste of time wish I could give it a lower rating.

Keeps installing automatically. Bruh this stupid car game was installing auto without touching the App Store it’s decent game BUT it probably was my annoying friend

Barely a racing game. Everything is automatic. The acceleration being automatic is fine. Whatever. But when you take away the players ability to control their car and steer it loses it fun and challenge. It's barely even a racing game. If you want a real racing game check out Asphalt 8 airborn. The only reason for the 2 star is cause if the graphics. Don't know what the developers were thinking on this one.

Rigged Game Dynamics - Scammers Alert !!. These folks manipulate the game dynamics for all the users and inspite of paying for packs the game mechanics are designed to make you fail without reason so that you continue to buy packs from them! Stay away. Period.

The odds are always against you. Whenever I play a game, I am always crashing and I am really good at the game, but it will just drive me into the wall for no reason and then I asked me to be $100 fine To continue

events. had a event that had two days left and i couldnt play it it asked for the blueprints of the car i was trying to get which is deceiving because how would i get it if it closed me off from racing. if the event says 10 days take 2 days off of it cause near the end you wont be able to race 😂

Worst Gameloft Racing game on iOS!. This asphalt game has completely ruined the asphalt series which everyone loves. This game basically does everything for you like auto-acceleration, and auto-turning which is really stupid. It does NOT HAVE AN OFFLINE MODE which makes no sense because asphalt is known for being a really good offline racing game. It now also includes a stupid gas tank system and now you need blueprints to unlock every car which EVERYONE HATE about the last asphalt game which you needed blueprints to unlock the best cars. In this you need it to unlock every car. This game has single handedly ruined the Gameloft-Asphalt series. The only benefit is that it has slightly better graphics than asphalt 8 and there are soooo many better racing games on iOS than this one.

Touchdrive... 😒. Touchdrive is the dumbest thing i ever heard about. You litterally do everything yourself (except choosing your way, drifting and do nitro) actually when i play with it it actually just bumps my car everywhere! It makes me lose my races and makes me loose online points. And even that the game ruined a part of the asphalt series! Like you can literally no more do the drift and nitro combo like you could do in asphalt 8. Gameloft, please return this combo feature that was in asphalt 8 and please fix the Touchdrive beacause it litterally makes me go crazy! 😒😤😠😡🤬👿 If you fix all this ill give you 5 stars to the game instead of 2. Hope you will fix this 😠

Doesn’t do good on multiple player. For starters there are far to many ads and pay to win. Makes any starter better than a person who plays for a long time and to speed the process there are ads and thats what make me a little frustrated. That’s not the problem here though, the multiple player on the other hand. The system with that is terrible and you s the reason why I stopped playing this app and just log in when a friend of mine wants to play. Now back to the topic at hand, the multiple player makes you not able to knockout other players but for some reason they can knock you out. Why is that? I assume it is because you need to pay for that! And to be honest the game get worse and worse. I still am going to keep it but only because some friends like to play it. But now he is saying ads and ads this is trash I’m a play something else. Make the game good again. (Won’t recommend this game to anyone when I used to)

Huge ad campaign. This games whole purpose is to force you to watch ads.The game is also highly rigged.Multy player is a sick joke to make you spend cash in hopes of gaining an advantage.The physics seem to get tampered with when you try to rank up.Like going off a ramp without crashing in pvp is next to impossible.Also they nerf your car so it cant reach top speed.If you happen to do well they crash your connection or you get taken out by cars that are so weak its laughable.Then to make things worse.In none multy player mode once you reach a certain level the game tries to stop you from going further by litarally having cars stick to you to hamper your progression.They are blatant with the cheating.Not to mention all the gambling ads and the constant nagging to buy thier over priced car pack that is a gamble in itself.Its sad reall because the game has potential to awesome.Case in point,gameloft is an extremely greedy company with little faith in thier own product. To the point were they dont even bother to be reasonable about how they price thier items.The ads pay for the whole game and probably is the only way for this app to make cash.Something needs to be done about this because apps like this are ruining gaming in general.Whats the point to make something so utterly unenjoyable.

Lag and freeze. THIS game lags so much and freezes every time for some seconds while playing THIS kicks me out of the for NO Reason THIS makes no sense in my iPhone 7

Hardly a racing game. You don’t really play this game. Most of the controls are automatic. You only have control over drifting (which hardly changes anything to the « driving ») and the turbo. The AI is (obviously) dumb as a brick, so the only thing you have to do in order to win is max out your nitro and spam the trigger. The only thing separating this game from CSR Racing is the fact that the camera is behind the car and not alongside the racetrack. No need for actual improvements or skills, you just buy a better car (which you can simply skip by paying) Asphalt 9 killed the franchise. This is not a game, it’s a disguised microtransaction fest.

Requires money to advance at all levels, latest update at garage has requirements of 1000 conditions to move on, to be done in a meter of days, 9 months of playing and never a key to a special car, always trying to lure you into purchases that give you nothing in return, do not waste your time or money

Don’t Waste Your TIME. This game literally does everything for you have to unlock every car with stupid blueprints and they don’t have an offline mode anymore. If anyone is reading this I highly suggest to play Asphalt 8. It doesn’t take any skill to play the new version now it’s absolutely terrible.CANT believe they were capable of making this game so much worse the only thing that’s good about the game is the graphics that’s about it. Your basically watching a bit drive you the whole time and it takes away the fun. Anyways if anyone sees this and want to play a car game asphalt 8 is the way to go don’t even bother with this game.

Gameloft. I’m sorry to say this but this is the worst game ever made by Gameloft. Even asphalt 8 is better then this and the way you have to choose paths and have a gas limit and have blueprints they get really annoying and the cars sometimes glitch that’s why I still play with asphalt 8 because it’s better and there’s no good cars in this game with blueprints and if you somehow do get blueprints maybe cause you play all day. The only thing that’s a change is graphics and gameplay and I am not trying to be rude like I love you guys it’s just I had to say this and give the feedback.

Worst Gameloft Asphalt game ever!. As a 3 year player on Asphalt 8, I find this game just ruined the experience with blueprints, always online with no offline racing, gas tanks, and the new driving mechanics along with the car collision. The blueprints, first of all, are hard to get when trying to get blueprints for a specific car. And even then, you still can’t by the cars fully with currency. The online racing for all the time is just annoying. As a person new to the new mechanics of destroying others makes it hard to ram others from behind. The gas tanks are also super annoying that you have to wait for the gas tank to reload while using a worse car that you probably originally were going to use. It also dies down my battery way quicker than Asphalt 8 did. Also, when achieving another section of races, instead of getting them all in that one section, you have to collect “flags” to move on to more races. And you’re not even changing to another full section. You just get ten more races to collect flags to… do it all over again. The only up is a little more nitro and graphics upgrades but the graphics really just die down my battery. I’d rather quite stick to Asphalt 8.

Multiplayer match ups are trash. Game is basic, not a really involved game as there are not controls for driving. Rotating your phone to turn is terrible and not accurate too the game. Pay to play cars required to play some mini games which is lame. One of the worst things about this game though is how they match players for multiplayer games. I’m either competing with cars that are ranked 1000 levels higher or 1000 levels lower than the car I choose so you either lose the game horribly or win the game with zero competition. This is a good game if you have no functional brain activity, otherwise it is dull and inconsistent.

This game brought back memories of asphalt eight. it took me 1 year to get Vulcan. thank you gameloft for asphalt nine I also really enjoy the game. also I like the new events. and I also want a new class. in asphalt eight and asphalt nine. class X. it’s going to be just like Forza. and the best cars are token cars. also a festival event for the best class X car the Bugatti Divo. and soon there going to be even better cars. man does this bring memories. 2013 what a great time. and now look where we are now. amazing. also the robots for the career and events are way better. they give a better race. also I like how the cars need blueprints now. makes the game hard and I like it. and it gives a longer journey. thank you gameloft for this game. (Also can you give us asphalt ten new beginning should be part of the name. Asphalt 10 New Beginning.)

Good game but you need to address a big problem. So i have been playing this game for around 3 weeks now and i love it the graphics the cars the everything. However a problem i found is match making in chapter 1 it was amazing but chapter 2 is just impossible so look I'm driving a ds automobiles right now and I’m on euro tracks in the cave to get 10 blue prints for the locus but it is way too hard i have a 1 star car and there is a flipping mclaren in there that in every single time i do it its always like 4 cars away from me and remember i only have ds automobiles car with 1 star and im going up against 2 star mclaren i know that there should be challenge in racing games but not so much its impossible. The only way to actually beat the race is pay REAL LIFE MONEY to get a good car that has a chance at beating the mclaren please address this problem i have been stuck on it for around 3 days now Bye, asphalt 9 developers

I downloaded this game YET:. I downloaded this game 4 times this past day in an attempt to finally play YET each and every time the game wouldn’t even load up, it kept displaying an error message saying connect to an internet source that is stable. Which I HAVE DONE. I’m seriously disappointed and am quite frankly tired of gameloft lack of quality control. Fix this. And stop making your games pay2win not everything has to be about money. Asphalt 8 USED TO BE GOOD now it’s just a toxic waste bin and Gameloft has lost its quality. I can say now I’m seriously starting to hate you guys as a company and game developers, ruining good products for a quick couple of bucks, your lack of integrity and lack of humanity ruins what was once an amazing franchise. I hope you money loving degenerates go broke. Gameloft you ruined a seriously good game series by thirsting for money. CHANGE EVERYTHING and maybe just maybe people will return to you and not go into debt just to play a racing game. Aside from that I hate your company, your morals are horrendous and stop being greedy for money

Worrying. I loved Asphalt 8, and I was super hyped when 9 came out. But after playing a few races with the auto drive I realized something. With the automatic driving, what will happen to multiplayer? There is no longer any skill needed to win. The only thing that matters is what car you have. This was in part true for 8, but in multiplayer races where my car was slower than everybody else’s, I could still make up for my lack of power by knowing how to use my car properly and my better driving. Now the only thing that matters is how fast your ride is, which encourages in app purchases more than ever. This also makes multiplayer grinding next to impossible because the whole risk for stronger opponents thing becomes unusable. I haven’t actually done much multiplayer, so four stars for now… but if what I’ve just said turns out to be true…

Well, I hope Asphalt 10 comes out soon... I had been a fan of A8, I was satisfied with almost everything in there, until it started to seem a bit boring. Then I saw Asphalt 9, with EVEN BETTER GRAPHICS, and NEWER SUPERCARS. I downloaded it immediately and had high expectations for it. But very few things in the game impress me, other than the graphics and the large variety of cars. In A8, you tilt your phone to steer, while you can only tap to control your car in A9. That’s just sad. That doesn’t test your driving skills but your fingers instead. That is the worst thing in this game in my opinion. Secondly, why in the world do you have to add this “blueprint” thing? In A8, you get a car if you pay the coins, which makes it about ten thousand times easier than A9! The blueprints the game gives me daily are hardly of use and it’s taking me too long to get a new car. Whyyyyyyyyyyyy? Dude? I hope Asphalt 10 comes out soon enough or I WILL HATE ASPHALT FOREVER AND I WILL SUBSCRIBE TO T SERIES.

This game is pay to win. So I played the game progressed and after reaching chapter two you get absolutely bodied and you lose most races so hard to even get better cars and blueprints I’m reading some reviews and there’s this one with this guy telling how the game is pay to win and how aphsalt 8 was better you only needed coins which is true but then he talks about the pay to win and he says how it’s unfair to people that don’t have money to buy 1000 dollar cars also talked about local multiplayer and yes it’s fun playing with you friends so after he wrote a the review he got a reply and what they told him was absolutely ridiculous they tell him play special events and get coins and buy better cars you know how messed up that is that truly shows there wanting to take your money they told him to play events to get rewards and he’s talking about how hard the events are and how you have to buy to enter them not just him other people said the same thing and they did nothing but say buy better cars that’s the only thing the developers said!!!!!

Easier ways to unlock cars, and difficulty. I love the game. Don’t get me wrong. But I have a problem with unlocking cars and the difficulty. It’s fun, but the ai cheat in specific ways that makes the game impossible. Most of the cars that I use are fully upgraded. They beat me so badly no matter what. And I’m tired of having to get blueprints to get cars, and I wish it was more like Asphalt 8 where you can straight up buy the car with credits or tokens. One more thing, I had a Lamborghini Terzo Millenio that was my favorite car. I closed the game, and then the next day, it was gone. I couldn’t find the car anywhere in the garage. All of my Terzo Millenio blueprints were also gone. If you could do so, could you see into getting my blueprints back for me? I did actually manage to get two more blueprints for the Lamborghini, but that’s still not as many as I had earlier. Thank you so much for your time.

Great game, but.... I love this game and really enjoy playing it. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of 3 things. 1. The gas system. I can tolerate the gas system, but I hate the fact that it does not start refueling until you have used all of it. Ideally there is no gas system so you can focus on upgrading one car and then using it in every race and not have to wait. 2. The fact that the game requires WiFi. The fact that this game cannot run without WiFi (or data) is a bit ridiculous to me. I think you should be able to play career mode (and may special events) offline because you are playing against bots anyway. This would be nice during a long car ride so I don’t have to use data. And then when you are connected to WiFi you can also play multiplayer. 3. The way you unlock cars. I get that having to earn a certain amount of cards to unlock a car keeps people coming back to play the game, but I wish it would not take so long. I also really, really wish there was a way to unlock a car by just paying a certain amount (using the in game currency) and receiving the car right then and there. I don’t care if it is several million dollars as long as there is an option! If you agree with my suggestions please mark “helpful” and maybe Gameloft will take this into consideration.

Bug In Game that doesn’t show your time when you complete event (Please Read!). With this recent update released with the most recent Security Covert Ops event (s) and other car events like the Ferrari and Pagani events also came up a while not so game breaking and concerning bug, it’s a pretty frustrating one. Idk if it’s my device or other’s are also having this issue, but the time where it shows the total race/event duration sometimes will glitch and will not show the time at all. Basically just staying in zeros. This gets pretty frustrating when you’re trying to achieve events that require certain times to complete it/get rewards. You have to rely on the current chronometer during the event to show the total time you’ve raced for. Im writing this bug issue as a review since I couldn’t find where to report the bug in your official support websites so sorry for this inconvenience. Please fix this issue in a hopeful next update and as soon as possible, thank you!

Very well made, repetitive. This is overall a great game. When it first came out, I played it everyday for months, and ever since it came out I have found so many cute cars I would love to have. It’s so fun, and any playing style works for it. It doesn’t try too hard to push you to buy things, and getting new cars and the controls aren’t confusing in the slightest. I would recommend to anyone who just wants to play a quick game during lunch, or people who love competition! It can get slightly repetitive, and I personally have experienced some bad customer service, but I don’t blame those things on the game or company. The repetition is kept to a minimum anyway, since there are always new cars to get or courses to run. I hope this review helped, and I hope you enjoy the game!

Gas System. While I’ve seen GREAT improvement since the last game, I am quite troubled by this new Gas system. This system makes it so that you can only use a car for a certain amount of drives before having to stop and let it refuel on gas before you may use it again. You COULD use premium coins to boost pass the wait time or watch an ad, but I’d rather it be removed. This game may require a bit of grinding in order to find blueprints/get enough in game currency, and having a gas system really slows down the process. I understand the game needs to make money, but I find the gas system to be a bit time consuming. I ask you please remove it or allow the cars to retain more gas before having to refuel. Other than that major complaint though, this game is AWESOME! The graphics are insane, especially for a mobile game, and I love the way the new levels work now. It’s much simpler and an improvement from the previous game. Good job Gameloft! :)

Asphalt 9. The game is great at the beginning. The first season of career is very easy and you can knock it out in a couple hours. The only thing that holds you back is the gas. Every car takes sometime to refill on gas. I wish the would implement a feature that refilled the cars automatically instead having to manually hit the refill button. Second, the game doesn't reward you as much as you need. Blueprints for cars aren't easy to obtain and some cars you need to complete a race, but you don't have the car. Once you pass the second season, the game slows down. You can play multiplayer which is had for low level players or try and play season two. Season two is very hard if you don't have high level cars. Lastly, recommendation level doesn't matter. My cars are usually 200 levels below the recommendation, but you are still able to win races. Asphalt 9 is a great game, but they need to add some new features to make the game faster.

Potential. I feel like the game has good potential but there are many things wrong with the multiplayer and the complete stops in the story mode really shut it down. After being wrecked by me hitting cars with perfect nitro or just being tapped by another player it is extremely annoying to finish the race with no chance of catching up to everyone else. Also the fact that everyone can just use the auto steer in multiplayer makes no sense to me at all. This is because people can just front run and never make any mistakes by just taking the perfect route that everyone either takes or loses. The last problem is that in story it gets to the point where you just have to wait for the shop to slowly reset and for the daily challenges to refresh so you just get a chance at 1/30 of the car you need to proceed for the next few stages until you need the next 50 blueprints to upgrade that car so it is usable. In conclusion it is a fun game but it is just more annoying than fun most of the time.

Best Asphalt Game So Far. Personally, I never liked ANY of the Asphalt games. That was for many reasons. One was the weird controls. Obviously, you tilt the screen to tilt the CAR, but that is not for me, and I am sure that wasn’t for other people too. If you like a challenge, then this game may not be for you. THE CARS DRIVE THEMSELVES, and all you have to worry about is when to use your nitro and when to drift. Also, if you want a challenge, there is an option to TURN IT OFF! I expected a version of Asphalt 8 : Airborne with better graphics. But this game bring something that literally all ages can play with ease. Hate wrecks? No problem, because with the self drive, it is literally physically impossible. I am very impressed with this game. I deleted all other Asphalt games within 8 hours. This game is guaranteed to stay because it very entertaining and it never gets old. Download this game; you won’t regret it.

Gorgeous. I love this game. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and so much fun! I do have a couple of complaints. 1) multiplayer needs to be fixed. I’m sick of going up against vehicles that have a huge rank difference from mine. It makes it hard to win, and then it gets frustrating and ruins the fun. The players have a similar rank sure, but I have a 1500 rank car I like to use, but yet I’m demolished because the rest of the players are all 2000 plus. Or, I go up against a rank of 800, which is not fair to that player. 2) I feel like it should be a bit easier to level vehicles up. I don’t want to have to spend $10 every time I want to level a car up because I can’t get the blueprints otherwise. 3.) I know this is a fairly recent game, but the same 5 tracks over and over again get really boring really quick. Please add more, maybe with every other update or something. 4.) please add more career seasons.

Two MAJOR flaws to a beautiful game.. Multiplayer and the auto drive feature are what need to be paid attention too. Multiplayer at launch feels absolutely broken as you — despite your numerous upgrades — feel like a slug in comparison to other players in your game. This feeling translates into career mode as AI racers zoom past you even when you are using a monster of a vehicle. Understandably, the cranked AI is for the delivery of a challenge, but Multiplayer feels downright impossible and can shut out any player within a few races. Auto drive makes the game too accessible, on the other hand, and should be restricted from multiplayer since human error becomes prey for any auto drive user to win matches without even trying. It’s best to keep it for career (where it should belong). Otherwise, the game is absolutely fantastic from its environments to graphics to handling. Please make this adjustments to maximize the gamer’s experience across future updates.

Is it just me or are people just plain rude…?. So I have looked at a lot of reviews and I love this game but these are the reasons why people and just mean about this amazing game I still play and continue to love it! 1. (This is my downside) so one day I was on asvalt 9 and I decided to turn on the thing where you tilt the phone (worst decision in asvalt) to control the car right? And I did so bad and then I tried to turn the car and…it didn’t move (me) “ummm that’s…fine….ok I’ll just do That! (Exits tab) ok now let’s turn that off (turns off thing) there (goes back to the same race) |3|2|1| (vRoom vRoom) wait huh? This game is very very fun has very good graphics and all that but it would be better if it were like asphalt 8 where you don’t need internet to play your career please make it like that it will help so much and it would probably attract more players because the internet of everyone is different and it may be very very very bad so please please change this but the game is very fun only played a bit because of the internet I have it always tells me I need to sync with server and all that but I have played and it is actually very fun and it runs very smoothly the game is engaging and very interesting and one other thing is that you have to get cars to be able to unlock cars it would be better if you can buy them like before but it’s still fun please making it offline please and thanks for hearing me out have a good day

Great game, but there are some things I would like to see. I have been playing asphalt for a very long time(I had asphalt on the 3DS). I would love to see off-road stuff, and an open world map too. For asphalt 10 maybe. There is only a few things that I think are not necessary. The game is sort of pay to win with the season passes and things, that could be fixed with just being able to buy the game. I think that would be a huge success, it would be like a mobile forza. another thing I would like to see in asphalt 10 if it ever exists, is a first person mode with interiors. I do not really like the touch-drive feature because it is sort of cheating. I would like to see a lobby theme rather than songs that already exist because many people might not enjoy certain songs. That is just my opinion, but if it ever became a reality that would be awesome.

The worlds greatest scam. This game is fun....but, the ENTIRE game is built to scam you out of paying more money than a full priced video game. They also start with normal game play normal bonuses and as you progress they just screw you, sooo you’ll buy stuff. Multi player pairs you with cars 3 times your class, so, you’ll buy a new one, your not racing other drivers your racing against this game trying to scam you for more money. the Cards they give get crappier and crappier, so you’ll BUY some. Then when you do, is it the Ferrari you need one more card for....NEVER Why? So you’ll buy it. Look, everyone is doing this in some fashion, but never seen a more manipulating game geared for one thing, to take more and more of your money. Don’t let your kids play this with access to your purchasing. Totally masterminded rip off. Really gross. Oh. And they just did an update and made everything harder, bonus worse, game offense more pathetic glitches way more so you lose ....so. If you love getting conned you’re gonna love this game.

A downgrade from A8. Asphalt 8 was a great game not much rubber banding the cars were fair and relatively equal and the game wasn't insanely hard Asphalt 9 on the other hand takes what asphalt 8 had perfect and made it terrible the rubber banding is horrendous if your car is over the recommended level you will still get destroyed by the ai. The cars and upgrades are pay to win especially in multiplayer and speaking of multiplayer within 10 sections of the race your in the back of the pack because someone took you out immediately and if you try to get them back nice try the will pretty much be invincible and you will hit a wall. For some reason nitrous works better for AI in this game and the controls are pretty bad over asphalt 8 like barely playable bad and whatever that self drive mode is it's stupid but The only way to competitively play the game. I've tried to come back to this game but I can't something isn't wanting me to play this game and it's probably the reasons I stated

Pay to win/Scam. This game has always felt like you need to pay to win, especially in multi-player..however, after a recent update, it seems to be even more so the case. Multi-player won't let you get past smcertain tiers, and seems as though they set you up with faster cars that are above your tier, so that you won't get past, unless you have more cars that are fully upgraded. A few of my friends, along with other player players, decided to test this theory, and we found that if we don't pay on expensive packs, we were more likely to get knocked out on multi-player or if we tried to knock out players, they didn't get knocked out or we would get set up with players who are above your current tier. When compared to those in the group who have spent a considerable amount of money on this game, we found that the game seemed to favor them in multi-player.. If uou go on fb groups or reddit forums, you'll see alot of the same complaints... So for now, I will be felting this game on mobile and on my switch (which is where I primarily play).

This sounds like a lot of money, but you can earn more customers this way. If you don’t want to buy the star, you can buy the bundle instead with 1000$. Ok thats for the Pay2Win company. For everyone that will be downloading this app, you need to read this. This game is going downhill and the company would likely make another version called asphalt X or whatever. If you really want to play games you need to find a game that does not want you to pay in the game, because this game, asphalt 9, wants you to pay endlessly to earn tons of money. That’s all I have to say. If you want to play this, its a great game to waste your money, and your precious time. I have already played for 2 months and I just realized how trash this game is, but its already too late. I have played 2 darn months playing 3 hours a day. And I’m quitting and all the precious time I spent is gone. But I’m also happy that I have stopped because I did not get too addicted yet

Not so fun right now. So I’ve been playing it religiously for about a year now. I have a good time and am addicted to it. Great graphics, cool gameplay, and nice selection of cars. But...this is absolutely a pay to play game. If you don’t spend real money on this, you will get discouraged quickly because you won’t be able to continue or compete against others. I’m totally guilty. I’ve spent well over a hundred bucks on this thing, and Gameloft is counting on it from all of us. The most irritating aspect of this game is the rampant cheaters you encounter in multiplayer. You know, instant resurrection, ghost cars, cars flying around buildings and water, the list goes on and on... Once you see a Lamborghini flying in the air like a Delorean from Back to the Future, you realize you’re not playing a car racing game anymore. Don’t count on customer service to do anything about this situation or anything else for that matter. They’re worthless and either can’t or won’t do anything for you. If you can overlook these flaws (which unfortunately I do), then give this game a try. I guess.

Good game, minor issues.. When I was told about this game I wasn’t expecting much. Just another game I’d get bored of within a week of having it then I’d delete it. However, this was not the case. The graphics are amazing compared to other similar games I’ve played. It can keep me occupied for hours. There is one minor problem I have with the multiplayer. It sets you up with players of the same rank as you but not the car ranking. For example when I was trying out multiplayer for the first time I had a slightly upgraded base car with a ranking of around 800. I was matched with several higher ranked cars at rank 1117 which made it challenging to compete. It’s rare I get into a balanced match. I also had a connection error that wouldn’t let me load the game but that was fixed not too long after it happened. Overall a pretty good game. Would recommend.

Gamemode hunted the cops are way to powerful. So when i first played asphalt 9 I ran into a bit of problems and over looked them, when I first played this they had a new system compared to the one in asphalt 8 and I had no idea what recommended rank was but the thing that infuriated me was the fact that on the the gamemode hunted the cops are HEAVILY boosted when you don't have the recommended rank they are also armored to do the only way to get rid of them is doing a 360 spin or do a shockwave boost another problem there respawn rate is broken they respawn faster than any other car and they catch up to you quick even with boosting I tried also the fact that they dont attack the airport racing other than yourself feels like an unfair advantage against yourself I hope they fix this so I can have fun again just like asphalt 8 but overall good gharpics stage gameplay and songs which I hope in the future you can switch, if anyone else has this problem write about it

Awful Waste of Time. Zero stars. Graphics are top notch and career mode is good but multiplayer is garbage and ruins the whole game. I’m in the Gold League. As soon as I get close to the 1500 mark (the Platinum League), they put Platinum racers with Platinum cars in the Gold league and I get slaughtered. I have many screen caps to prove it. It’s like letting a MLB hitter play in Little League but only for one team, and not yours. Two races ago, I went from 3rd to last place when I was knocked down by an Aston Martin Vulcan! I have the same car but can’t use it in the Gold league. In the last race, a McLaren P1 won the race. In the Gold League?! The P1 is halfway through A class! How are Gold players supposed to compete with that? A maxed out B car stands no chance against a mid grade A car. On top of that, TouchDrive is the only usable driving mode because tilt steering keeps resetting itself to 50% and the other mode doesn’t do anything at all, so you’re just running slowly along a wall for the whole race. I refuse to spend real money on a game that’s not ready for prime time and is designed to make me lose. I think it was programmed to swindle people. Fix this fraudulent app.

Very fun but. This is one of the best games on mobile because of its outstanding graphics and fun gameplay in my opinion, but the only thing setting this game down for me is just the complexity of earning points and levels keeping track of all the cards which doesn’t seem that realistic to me, although I understand this game isn’t meant to be realistic, I would appreciate some simple way of keeping track of your achievements and points in each level because at this point I don’t even know what or why the cars or cards or points are relevant to the game. Adding to that, the concept of getting Cars for little cards really doesn’t seem that interesting or compelling to actually earn or want a specific car. But overall this gameplay is actually insane and the only reason I play this game is because of the gameplay not because of “sets of cards to buy a car.”

Garbage. The only thing that pretty much stands out the most is graphics. One of the biggest problems in this game is multiplayer! They pair you with everyone who has way advanced cars, and then when you try to do a spin move the cars send you into a glitch against the walls! Then to top it off everyone else is able to destroy you so easily! That’s not fair at all and it’s so disappointing I chose to not spend money in the app because it’s pointless. Winning story racing’s isn’t so bad except, the cards you need to unlock it’s crazy! Like for example, bmw D class vehicle needs a total of 60 cards to fully unlock it. Each card in the game for that specific vehicle cost way over it’s actual price in real life! You’ll really be playing for ever to unlock anything, I’m already annoyed and about to remove it from my phone! In multiplayer series competitions, how can you ever win championship to unlock anything when the weak car you have is paired against the S. class vehicles ! Smh new users be warn!

Good Game But Multiplayer Is Triggering. This game really surprised me of how amazing it is! But there are a lot of things that trigger me. First off how on multiplayer when touch drive is on every driver ends up crushing each other’s cars trying to get to the center of the track. This can get really annoying when you are using touch drive also and get crushed ending up in last place. Another issue I have is how bad the connection is in multiplayer (it might just be me), if I’m in a game and doing really good my connection gets lost and automatically puts me in last place! I have lost my connection in a game about 8 times with full connection to my internet. This really puts your level down witch is why I don’t really like multiplayer. My final complaint is that the game crashes a lot witch can get really annoying if you are talking to your club or upgrading your rides. In all it’s a great game that needs some fixing. Hopefully these issues can get fixed.

Good game w/ multiplayer issues. I’ve been playing asphalt 9 since it came out, and it’s been a very good game. The events, career, etc all play in really well with the asphalt experience and story, and progressing is quite easy once you know how and what the right strategies are for you. But, multiplayer in the last few updates has been changed ridiculously. Multiplayer had always been a little unfair, especially for new players, but the new changes are ridiculous. The leagues have always been ranked the same as the classes and that always seemed fair, but not it includes a wide variety of classes per League, even class A cars. Overall, asphalt should do a better job of at least matching up players with other players of similar skill or rank, and go back to the old way bronze to legend league are set up. Overall asphalt 9 is a great game, but it would be even better if these changes were made.

Either break out your wallet or be extremely lucky. Wondering why I put that as the title of this review? Well I’ll be more than happy to explain! I’m currently trying to complete a few seasons and the events that are stopping me require a certain car. Well you either have to be extremely lucky to win enough blueprints in events or in any of the free card packs or you better break out the wallet and buy their tokens in order to progress! I’m stuck on two seasons right now because I do not have enough blueprints to unlock the car and don’t even tell me about trying to win events! Again unless you were extremely lucky in getting good pulls with the card packs and have upgraded the star rating enough to really soup up the car, don’t plan on winning the cars blueprints in the races in special events. I guess I shouldn’t really complain too loudly because I got what I paid for really. I didn’t pay a dime to check it out and I’ll soon be removing it off my device. Why the high star rating then? Well I will have to say that the graphics on this are great! Might be a new feature but the touch drive allows one to do a few races without having to tilt the device to steer. That can be advantageous in some situations. Because I’m stuck on a few events because I don’t have the car needed or a upgraded enough car to proceed, this has started to loose its fun factor for me. YMMV however.

Gamers zone. When I play this game I just have so much fun unlocking new cars and vehicles it made a very big difference then The game right before this one there was so many color changes I could customize my vehicle in so many new ways it was just mine blowing at first but when I’m like actually driving the cars if feels like I’m hanging out with my friends and I love the events because I can I canActually race against a lot of different people and it’s a ton of fun but One of my favorite things about this game is the clubs because you can do a club race with everyone in your club and also you can get club rewards for your entire club you could even make a club with your friends this is literally the coolest game ever. PS If you’re making a 10th game I don’t know how you’re going to top this one all I know is it’s going to be epic.

This is a great game but needs some key features. My first idea for more cars to have customization, like the Nissan GT-R NISMO has no customization other than official colors and cars like the Ferrari LAFERRARI has customization but then you can’t do a wheel color on the car. Why are their some cars you can completely revolutionize but then cars that obviously have been neglected and just used as filler. My other idea is to sharpen the experience for the player like to add a feature where you can refill all the gas in your cars with a single button on the garage menu and add instead of showing what a car looked like as stock show us how it looks when we customized and I’m talking where it shows the class D,C,B,A, and S lists. But other than that it’s a game that I can’t really get enough of and it leaves you wanting to play more and more and it’s great that it’s being updated regularly. No way to earn good cars without spending a lot of money. Asphalt 9 is a fun game, with high quality graphics and a broad selection of special events which are constantly being updated. However, the economic model which gameloft employs with Asphalt 9 seems exploitative to me. Console racing games cost money to buy, and then players earn cars and upgrades through gameplay. Asphalt 9 is free to play, but any and all exciting cars cost ridiculous amounts of money to unlock. I would much rather pay $30-$50 for a game and then unlock features through gameplay as opposed to playing a free game which constantly tries to entice me to spend hundreds of dollars in order to unlock exciting cars. Economically speaking, I’m better off buying a console and a few racing games. I do understand that gameloft needs to make money somehow, but it becomes exploitative when each car requires 30-75 blueprints plus sometimes a key to unlock, and the only surefire way to get all of those blueprints and keys is to spend around $100 PER CAR💀

I love it, but something happened.. Gameloft, your game is amazing and really fun except when something happens like what just did. Let me explain. I was in a daily race and i had almost reach the finish line. I looked over to see what my place was, and it said I was in sixth place, so I was like “YES! At least I am not in last!” No cars past me. I zoomed through the finish line and I looked at the leaderboard and I was in... EIGHTH!!!!!! What’s up with THAT!!! And then I said “here, I’ll play again and if something happens I’ll wright a report on the App Store.” So I did what I had said, and drove in another one. It was way better than last time because I got into first. But then I got taken over and into second. But here’s where the thing that made me mad the most. Someone hit me and I got destroyed. There was no other cars around and when the game revived me, it put me in EIGHTH AGAIN!!! AND BY THAT TIME, I WAS ALREADY AT THE FINISH LINE!! I recommend this came but I do not suggest the daily races if you have a kinda slow car compared to all the others.

Asphalt 8 Would Be Better. I started playing this game series with Asphalt 8, which I play on my PC all the time and love it. I recently got it on my phone and loved the 3D Touch steering since it’s really responsive. When I downloaded Asphalt 9, however, I was surprised about how this game is literally Asphalt Xtreme format, but with better graphics and cars essentially. There is a TouchAssist or something feature, but that seems way too boring. But there is no 3D Touch setting so I have to hit the brake whenever I want to drift. I personally find that annoying. I also find that all credits are for now is to upgrade and buy certain car packs. I hate the card system as I can’t save up credits to buy all the cars like I could in Asphalt 8. I have to say Asphalt 8 is better feature wise, but Asphalt 9 is better graphics wise. I would give 5 stars if it weren’t for these issues. But the game is great and runs very well.

This game almost had it. This review is based off of two weeks of continual play through of the game using its interface and understanding its logistics. WHERE IS THE CHALLENGE! No longer do you have the option in Asphalt 9 to use the gas it’s automatic and there is nothing you can do about it. Well? I guess we have to go fast right that’s how you win races, in fact you go so fast you have to either do a “180” or drift if your going to crash in to a wall , neither of these are quick enough to slow you down from losing 3-5 seconds in a race, which matter if you want to win rewards. Secondly, the rewards system ,are you feel like you’ve won it all by how fast you get the camaro, Nissan, and Dodge Challenger. However, just try racing in multiplayer there is always someone who payed for a faster car, or upgrade a vehicle. Finally, To win you no longer can rely on your skills in all the aspects of racing you have to rely on ads to get you through and the painful process of waiting to get the right upgrade cards. This game would be at least a three star if they EVEN GAVE THE OPTION FOR A NORMAL BRAKE PEDAL AND COCKPIT CAMERA!!!

The System... So getting blueprints and stuff is easy until you far enough in the game where you have to have certain cars for certain missions... and while your at this point you’d find yourself looking for blueprints. Now it should be simple right? Do missions to get blueprints BUT WAIT YOU DONT HAVE THE RIGHT CAR FOR THE RIGHT MISSION SO YOU CANT GET BLUEPRINTS BECAUSE YOU CANT DO THE MISSION... so what do you do? Well if your mommy and daddy have money then I guess your okay right, but what about our fellow players who actually want to EARN their things. Sad case buddy you can’t... it’s always the same story, you need to do a thing to get a thing but you can’t do the thing because you don’t have the thing.....Every game I play is like this...there are no honest to play games out here and that’s really unfair to this community. Also the shop is COMPLETELY useless in every way shape or form. Even if you have enough to buy all blueprints they limit how many you can buy and they COST so I feel like if you don’t have real money to waste then it’s all over

This game is great BUT..... The multiplayer system in this game is completely and totally broken. No matter how much better and upgraded your car in compared to others, it seems like theirs is ALWAYS better no matter how well you do. This game is so fun but the multiplayer system just makes it feel like total garbage. Also the 360 spin/takeout move is utterly outrageous because you can get knocked out in the first 5 SECONDS and lose the race to it. Not to mention it is completely inconsistent. Also, otter times in lower silver I will be ranked in with high end ranks like gold and even once platinum. Last, if someone has very poor connection, the computer will literally take over and drive for them, sustaining and even improving their placement in the race. This is very frustrating because if someone is trying to abuse this, instead of losing their placement, they improve it. I like this games career mode and all, but the multiplayer mode is hideous in my opinion. The devs certainly have a lot to work on with that.

Amazing Graphics - Annoying Gameplay. Being myself a fan of Car Racing games, I personally think this one is really amazing. Have better graphics than overall gaming consoles mid 00’s. The graphics are sick! You can actually feel the speed of your car what is great. What really annoying on this version is the super complicated way to get cars, it use a blueprint option that you need to race and race to earn and discover blueprints to get cars. The issue is that the blueprints we ger are almost the same and for cars that I already have, but allows me to tune the car even more and more. What I would love to see is a simple option to buy the car I want with game coins, game credits or real money. I dont want to stick with a Lancer or Camaro for weeks! I want to drive a Ferrari or a Lambo right away. I personally dont have the time to spen all day gaming to unlock cars. We have a life! Give us the chance to race what we want and thats it.

My view on Asphalt 9. Personally I have been a fan of the asphalt franchise. I play their games frequently and I didn’t bat an eye to download and play asphalt 9. I like the game however, the game developers try really hard to get you to spend money. I have not spent a cent on any asphalt game I’ve played and I’ve played since asphalt 6. FOR RECURRING PLAYERS that have played asphalt 8, I feel as if you played the game avidly and for a pretty decent amount of time you should expect the micro transactions because they are scattered throughout most of the asphalt games and they are especially prevalent in the later games. Yes it’s still annoying but it is a free-to-play game and it’s just business. FOR NEWER PLAYERS yes the micro transactions can be annoying but you are not forced into buying them (even though they make it hard not too) and if you are serious about the game and you do plan on playing at least once everyday, you will be able to get everything you need to succeed. Thank you for reading but that’s just my opinion.

BEST GAME EVER!. When I started playing this game I was going on FIRE. Then I thought that I was stuck but that was me being so stupid. Whalen I downloaded it 2 years later (2020... CORONAVIRUS) I was on fire once again! The game was on British season update, I ended up getting HUGE REWARDS. 10x British season card pack along with it I got 1000 TOKENS! Now I got my own club, and my first ever class A car! Thank you 🙏 Gameloft,and asphalt for creating the definitely best games in my life! I also have very high expectations for asphalt 10. Keep on the amazing work and please bring back boxes and blueprints for asphalt 8. Aris cheese god called it a dead game for removing blueprints a couple of updates ago and I think I would agree. Fix asphalt 8 and add some more vehicles From asphalt 9 and asphalt will be very amazing 😉 once again.(plus bring back EDDs, championships, and R&Ds to asphalt 8 and asphalt 8 will once again be a great game👍👍👍💎💎💎🤩🤩🤩

Not what it used to be. I’ve been playing this since it came out. I don’t understand how you have these rare cars that are getting beat by regular cars.. and so many new cars aren’t even able to be driven. So much just to get one car and theres no way multiplayer is doable, connection issues, lagging, these things have been the main problem and it’s been why I’ve been fading from the game.. I remember when the Mazda first appeared, now it’s no system to what’s a good car to even get, the daily events/ special events are so few and meaningless.. I wish it was how it was before. I get bored then too frustrated. Love the cars, but it’s pointless when you’ve been playing to get one car you really want and it’s never available... the bundles are even more annoying and the new players get all the cars the old players have been grinding for the past half a year to get in all these special gifts that every player gets feels like a slap in the face.. I just can’t

Games good, still needs improvements. First off, I like this game. The racing feels great, and you actually get something to show off with the time you invest into the game. However, there are some glaring issues. First off, the anti cheat software. It forces you to play this game constantly in WiFi. That mean the second I leave my house suddenly I need to be “connected to the game server” which I know I don’t have to be, because I downloaded the 3 gb game. I don’t know how many races I’ve lost because of the game kicking me out for not being connected. Next, the car collecting. The game has this one annoying thing that just ruins the fun of the game. In certain races, you need a specific car in order to beat it. Ok, you think, I’ll just get the blueprints for it, spend 2 hrs racing to get them, and then realize your 6 blueprints short. This is ridiculous, as making the only car you can use extremely difficult to get and only allowing you get it if you spend money buying essentially lootboxes. Overall the game is good, but these two issues really ruin the fun for me.

Fun but pay to win. Good driving mechanics and not too confusing compared to many other modern racing games. I enjoy the pacing of unlocking cars, but it slows down around season 2 of the career mode. Without purchasing a car or the season pass, you are kind of stuck for a week just grinding the daily modes until you unlock better cars. The season pass car is not that great and not worth driving till 3 star, but the season pass itself is worth buying if you like(and play) the game a lot. It’s an easy boost to your progression when you need it to keep playing. There are some cars that are simply better than others regardless of rating or level. You will have to look at stats(or you just know which car is most fast in multiplayer). Although pay to win, the car I got from paying wasn’t good, and paying for the cars just doesn’t feel as satisfying as earning them through rng.

The up side is that the Ads usually bless you with credits (in-game money) that you Desperately need. I didnt mind paying 15 dollars for the premium .. and it is most likely IMPOSSIBLE to make it far in this game without it since you need like 80 cards (that you very RARELY get) in order to even unlock a car. Then you need like another 80 to upgrade it to its next level. Its quite ridiculous and unfair. However, the game Is really addictive. But the developers make it nearly impossible to progress due to impossible gains without emptying your wallet. I would rate the game 5 out of 5 if it werent for the Ads and very high expenses just to get a single card, out of 80! Just for one vehicle

Bring back the “pay up front” for this game. I started playing this game series back when Asphalt 6: Adrenaline was the big game out. That was really fun, maybe it was the first to introduce “adrenaline” with the cars by using the nitro ability. Now as the games have introduced more “interesting things”, the most annoying in my eyes is the game is free and there’s so much adds. The moment I almost lost it is when they introduced cars being able to run out of “gas”. Who ever came up with that idea had nothing in their mind other than “how can we rip off our consumers better than to make them wait or pay to replenish their cars’ gas when it runs out. I hear Asphalt 10 is coming out. I currently play Asphalt 9. Please bring back the ability to pay for the application up front like a “normal” game. I remember paying like $7 for Asphalt 6: Adrenaline. and please take out the whole “gas” variable. Asphalt is an action racing game. Should not make it painful for consumers to play.

But - I Want To Scrape Paint. I love the various Asphalt games and have been playing for years. Love a lot of things, but there’s one common element throughout the games that has always vexed me. Why is it so darn easy to knockdown other players in multiplayer mode? Whatever happened to scrapping paint, door to door, looking for the right angle, the advantage, then taking the lead on the curve? That’s racing! Happening to get some nitro first and knocking the other racer down isn’t. What fun is it to run a nearly perfect race, .01 seconds ahead of number two, hitting the curves just right, 3 seconds from the finish line... when he gets a nitro refilled just before you. Knocking you down and sending you to 7th place? That is not skill. And it’s not fun. In fact, there are some players who believe knocking down is the purpose of racing. You can see them all over the track, not trying to race with skill, but to knock down anyone who gets near them. Boring! I mostly avoid multiplayer for this very reason. I hate it when I’m trying to out race someone and pass them, only to accidentally knock them down. Please consider making it much, much harder to do knockdowns in multiplayer, or eliminating entirely. Let us scrape some paint for a change. That’s fun! Let the better driver come out of the curve .001 ahead. That’s exhilarating!
