Love it. this app was great until I’m using my moms account on our iPad and I had a bad explanation so they said they were connecting me to someone else to help for free so then it says My picture wasn’t working but it literally worked before and they told me to try again but now there going to charge me when i didn’t get the free one they promised me if I get that back then I will fix why should I have to pay for a bad tutor they hired please credit me back then it will be five stars again

Not getting the help I need. The school that I go to offers this as an alternative if you cannot get to an actual tutor. I am having some issues with differential equations. At first I did get some help, but I am seeing less and less success with the app. I have family that is sick and don’t always have the ability to be in person for tutoring. I am growing impatient with the lack of help in calculus.

Answers aren’t always correct BUT.... I downloaded this expensive app to help me with my Physics course (college). I use the app nearly everyday because I have a lot of assignments. This app has been helpful in allowing me to maintain a B average. Although the answers aren’t always correct, I normally still make a decent score with a mixture of Chegg. I’d never taken Physics before, and the lessons I was looking at were GREEK (for real). I do recommend the app, but I use Chegg for my back up to ensure my answers are correct. Therefore, 3 starts it is.

GET THIS. I love this app and how it is completely appropriate. I was looking for something to help me get my grades up and I found it!!! While this is a good app, 10 minutes is definitely not enough time for me to ask questions to get the problem. That’s really the only problem I have with it! If you are looking for a way to get better grades get this app!!

HW Help for Upper Div Courses. I had been struggling with a hard inductive proof in Discrete Structures for probably 2-3 hours before I tried this app. I had one initial session that didn’t successfully connect but boy am I glad I stuck with it, the expert I got paired with was knowledgeable, clear, concise and solved the problem almost immediately. I was blown away. I immediately bought a few extra sessions and plan to use this the next time I’m unclear about how to approach a proof. My point in this review is that this isn’t just a useful app for high schoolers struggling with algebra or calculus but also for college students in upper division mathematics or computer science. Thank you!

Disappointed. I have been using this app for a while now but recently it’s been letting me down. I have been trying to get work done but I keep getting this message “connectivity issue” I don’t think there is anything wrong because it’s worked good every other time. And when I reached out for help they did not help at all. I waited 2 days for a respond and the response they gave me was the same as the other “it appears your having connectivity problems” this app use to be better but then it updated and lost all its quality. But if you are looking to only solve 1 problem it’s good for that.

Amazing app but can do better. This app has helped me A LOT!! The explaining is good and ask if you understand the problem. The only thing that I don’t like is that the time is limited. 10min is not enough time to ask the expect any questions that I may have while he’s trying to explain the problem to me. It should have more time added or no time at all and instead of buying just a single session there should be a price for a whole bundle or something to be paying monthly to get the help we need. $3.99 is a lot for 10 min and for one single session with the expert and have to pay another $3.99 for another problem to be solved with just 10min. I just think that should be fixed and it would be better if it could be different on the pricing, and if it was I would no doubt pay for a whole bundle or monthly for it. The app is just GREAT!

What an amazing app.. I haven’t seen such a helpful app for student, great tutors i used the app couple times and the tutors did very good job explaining the problem. I 100% recommend this app for students who get stuck in some problems and need help like me. Thanks Got It!

It worked at first but then.... So when I first got the app the first few problems I had were solved and explained within minutes but then I had one last one and it kept saying expert cannot see the problem clearly or that they do not understand it. Like the whole point of this app is that they’re supposed to understand the difficult problems. I literally submitted that same question so many times and waited hours for absolutely nothing. An expert even said they’d solve it for me but an hour later and still nothing.

Great app but... This in general is a great app, but I happened to get a not so great tutor. I was seeking help with a problem on my homework, so I got a tutor session. The tutor I received taught me it wrong, which I later learned in class when I got a B. Some of my friends use this app as well and it hasn't happened to them, so I guess it's just the luck of the draw.

Awesome App. The people on here really try their bests to work around what you know and try to help you understand the concepts, I don’t have to pay for it so I have no idea what it’s like when you have it for free since my school provides this app for me. If you’re questioning whether it’s worth your cash or time I would say it is!

Saves me with homework last minute. Love this app and use it few times a week in my homework! I’ve heard about it from my friend and I downloaded right away. Especially the new update with the photo equation solver. Now you can just take a photo of a HANDWRITTEN equation and get a FREE detailed solution. Super helpful! I also use free tutorials to study for the exam. The only thing I would ask for is add more subjects.

DONT DOWNLOAD APP OR SPEND MONEY ON IT. THIS APP IS NOT WORTH THE ABUSE. THEY DONT EVEN HELP YOU OR FOLLOW WHAT YOURE ASKING THEM TO DO. when I asked the tutor to help me the way my teacher wanted it done the tutor put “LOL” and “WHY YOU WASTE MY TIME” then he said “YOU PAY FOR THIS APP BECAUSE YOU SPEND MONEY ON STUPID THINGS” “JUST SOLVE IT FROM THE BOOK THEN” I’ve used this app for over a year and the last 3 months I’ve literally been treated like this. I’m not even asking for a refund I just want to warn other people not to even try this app. Go spend money on a real tutor from your school or college. This app is not the way to go.

Pricey. It truly is an extremely helpful and great app to have, however, having to pay $3.99 to avoid paying a monthly price seems a bit high to only be able to ask one question per session, I’m paying essentially 4 dollars for a 10 minute session where only 1 question is answered, I feel each session should only be $0.99 instead of $3.99

The app is a good idea. The idea of the app is really awesome and I love the new update where you pay $24 for unlimited problems. Here’s the issue though. I do school online and sometimes I take timed tests. When I’m struggling with a problem I use got it to help me solve it except constantly and I mean all the time I send in my problem and 20 minutes later they say “sorry your problem was not explained please submit it again” because some annoying tutor couldn’t answer it or was having connectivity issues. I can’t spend 20 plus minutes waiting for someone to help me. Not only that but I’ll send in perfectly clear pictures of the problem and they say “oops we can’t see it take a clearer picture please” THE PICTURE COULDNT GET ANY CLEARER. I’m begging the app to fix these kinks or I will stop using it. I’ve spent a lot of my own money on this app and I will put that money towards a different app if things don’t change soon. I don’t recommend people download this app unless you have all the time in the world to get help for one problem but keep in mind you may not even get help on the problem.

Solid app, professional help is hit or miss. The app itself is great and pretty straight forward. Some of the professionals take their sweet time getting back to you though or give you the answer without explaining how to get there on your own. I understand that math in particular can be pretty hard to describe via text but I wish they gave just a tad more time. I feel like I don't get an answer until 7 minutes in and then when they start to break it down, time is up and they want you to pay again. Hopefully this imoroves. I'd love it if they could leave you some kind of helpful resource on the topic at hand once the chat is over. If I don't fully understand it in the chat and that's all I have to reference later, I won't fully understand it later either.

Best app. The app helps me so much I don’t always have a Tudor or a teacher to show me the details step by step and how to get the answer and the experts are great . Only problem I have is that some 1 out of 10 experts may not know the answer but if they don’t you get your refund til they find someone who does . I strongly recommend this if you need help with math , history, science, and essays , I’m going to keep this app forever!

Great app, but not perfect. This is a really great app that’s way better than it used to be. The experts are great, they can explain the problems in detail and they are very quick, but I do have a suggestion. There used to be a feature where you can go and get points so you can get free sessions. As of the latest version, this neat feature is completely gone. So it would be nice to have it back.

Disappointed. If I could give 0 stars I would. Before, the app was wonderful and anybody could use it. You didn't have to pay unless you needed to buy more credits. But now they have become thieves and just want to get as much money as possible. You can't even have a session without paying. $1 a problem? Are you serious? That's stupid expensive. Even before changing it and getting rid of he credits, they made it even harder for you to earn credits. You could only buy them so it still just worked on money. A few years ago, when it was newer, I was very satisfied with the app and it's help. Now they're just trying to steal your money. Do yourself a favor and don't install it. You can't use it without buying a session for $1.

Good app. This app has helped me alot on my calculus course problems. It definitely helped me get better at math. The only issue i have with this app is connectivity issues. Sometimes when i post a question, i have to repost it about 8 times because it will say the expert disconnected or the picture is not clear. If this issue were to be fixed the app would deserve a five star rating in my opinion.

Better than teachers 😂. This app has helped me a lot academically, especially in subjects like Physics and Geometry. Whether I know how to solve a problem and just want to double check my answers or have no idea what to do, PhotoStudy has always been there to help in my time of need. The tutors explain more than the teachers at my school and I actually get a better understanding from them. This app is truly a blessing.

Life Saver. I was struggling with math on my computer and I had a terrible grade in that class. I started using this app and I was doubting it. I regret that now and I promise this isn’t a joke, they use a free bot so you don’t have to pay to get free help with your homework! It’s fast when you don’t choose expert so I choose the bot every time. It only takes a few minutes out of my time and this is an app I’ve been looking for, for years. I wish I would’ve known about this app last year!! 💗

Great and easy to use!. I love how easy this app is! Take a picture, select your problem, and boom get an expert to explain it to you and give an answer. I am very lucky that my ETS club gave me a pre paid account, because this app is very helpful!!

Great app but can do better. This app helps me a lot especially with math, if you need help on math homework this is the perfect app. They help you with a problem that you have and explain very well. However, paying $3.99 for one single session for 10 minutes is very overpriced especially if I don’t understand various questions in one day, I think there should be a monthly subscription I order to get the help we need more often, overall this app is a great idea and can be very helpful!

These ppl are bugging.. I was testing out the app so I put in a problem that I already had the answer to. The “expert” gave a totally wrong answer so I called him out. He started arguing with more about how he was correct. I told him the answer was 2 but he started giving a long explanation like we weren’t looking at the same problem. End of story these experts are fake and can’t even answer simple math questions. It’s sad. Shaking my head🤦🏽‍♀️.

5 Stars and more. I never go out of my way to rate an app but this is just so phenomenal, I figured I just had to. This app is amazing. Whoever thought about this is a genius and should immediately be given an award. The experts are exactly are indeed experts: helpful, experienced, and they really know their stuff. It’s kind that they can take their time to help people like me out. I understand everything fully after they’re done explaining. I learned more in just seven minutes than I ever did sitting in a classroom.

It Has Way More Ups Than Downs. It really does help, If you tell them to keep it simple its really easy to understand. Theres a real person so any questions you have you get direct answers to. Somtimes I have more than question a day and its really annoyinh when I need help and I have no more stupid sessions. I think if they really wanna help you, you shouldnt have to pay to have more than one or two sessions a day. Overall its like a 8/10, Not bad at all.

So helpful. I got this app last minute before a final and had 30 questions due in the morning and I logged in and all I had to do was take a picture of my problem and then it instantly found me an expert to help me. In less than 10 minutes it helped me figure it out. It asked if I understood and if not it reexplained and helped and slowed down. It showed me step by step how to solve my problem. I remembered exactly how to do it with this app and now I’m not even worried about my test.

This app is responsible for me passing applied calc. If I could give 10 stars I would, this app is extremely underrated. All the experts respond in a timely fashion, and they will elaborate more if you ask. Forget chegg and Photomath. If you want to succeed you should go with PhotoStudy.

Didn’t help me and doesn’t give me a refund from a bad session.. Honestly, as other people may say, I would also review this as 0 stars if possible. I had a bad session and it didn’t let me review it in order to get a refund that it would usually offer. The worker who tried to teach kinda just took my money without helping me and just told the basics of the problem that I already know and it led to nowhere. He/she didn’t find the answer and nor did I. So I was going to rate it as a bad session but it didn’t give me the chance to review him/her. This app took my money and I’m frustrated that my purchase was not fulfilled. The app also has overpriced sessions that would cost so much just to solve one problem. The time limit for the questions are too short so the people who try to teach others don’t have enough time and the student and the tutor never get anywhere. Overall, the app isn’t as helpful as you think and people who try to teach can only answer simple problems. Sorry, but just don’t get this app.

Feature removal is bad. Hi, The feature this app had was just amazing. But it is removed now, the feature was that each device gets 1 free session. That feature was amazing, you guys had it. But u guys just removed it couple of days ago. Please add it back, it was a great way to explore the app. The Microsoft partner site is really slow, PhotoStudy is fast. So please add this feature ASAP again to get one free session per device as you guys did previously I think a week ago. After u sign up on a account, it gives u one free feature. But now it’s not. Please fix it and make it back to old PhotoStudy we love! Microsoft service is not recommended! Too slow! Thank you for your time! Please make these changes fast!

Really good at first but.... I loved having a math app that actually helped you work on specific problems and an actual tutor to guide you through it! But unfortunately that slowly got messed cause of the app, I used to get a free session everyday which was awesome because I don’t have much money to spend. Especially with college, I should be saving my money and I can’t really be spending so much, so I think it’s great that I could get a free session! But they stopped giving them out, which is a bummer :(. But this wasn’t the problem, I paid for a session because I really needed help with a math problem. First off the solution for the problem didn’t include a step in the problem. The tutor completely skipped over a necessary part of the problem and when I asked about it, they ignored it and repeated information i already knew, I tried getting a new session but that didn’t work? Really disappointed because I wasted money that could have been used for something else

Connectivity Issue. Recently, there is something wrong with the app. I post my question and find for an expert, it asked me if I agree to not share any personal information. I chose 'yes' and then waiting really long without any response from the expert. Finally a 'slice' pop up and says the expert have a conectivity issue. It does not happens once but 6-7 times and I still have not recieved a solution to my quiz for almost 2 days. At some other times (twice) an expert took my quiz and says my photo is not clear! (While acutally the photo was so clear that I can even see some dust on it!) I don't know if my quiz was that hard so they keep reasoning or because of the app. Deadline is coming and I desperately need a solution for the quiz.

Simple update please. A amazing app just one problem if I have unused session points such as I have one session point left from yesterday. why can’t it add to the session points I get daily? Instead it just erase the point or points I have left. Please change this u can make it if you don’t login in the points don’t come in so people are still using it actively.

Photo study. This app has the right idea, but it’s not there yet. First the pricing is crazy, one session is $3.99 which is insane and 2 if they don’t answer your problem within 20 min then your session is just over without the answer. Has potential, but it’s not a good app at the moment.

Come on. At first great but sometimes “experts” leave the problem right after they get it and don’t answer it at all and it won’t let you take a picture of the problem and ask again until he gives you the answer which is a complete waste of time. And finally when the app realizes it refunds you the credit which is stupid. They should at least give an extra credit when they mess up like this.

Amazing. This app is amazing, I’ve been truly using it for 2 years now & it’s been helping me get through assignments & quizzes, It also works great if you’re pressing for time & an may assignment or quiz is do. The live experts are literally great at what they do, they help you slice & get the correct answers every time.

Cool app. Very useful. This helped me a lot the recent semester. Their expert source really impressed me by being overall polite and knowledgeable. They often spend time to explain well. TRULY RECOMMEND for anyone struggling with school math or physics. The fee is a bit high for students but using it smartly will make it worth.

This is ridiculous. I do public school, and when I come asking for help I have to pay to get a session. I love the setup and Everything but I’m looking for steps to do a problem that I can’t solve. My teachers don’t always look at their email!!!!! When I need help, I need help. But instead I have to wait until all my “credits” add up so I can get a “session”. It’s 10 minutes, if I had the equation it would take me less time to do so. Not to mention that the way you solve your equations in Geometry is completely complicated and hard to replicate on another problem. I would love this app if it actually allowed me to get the help I needed, instead of leaving me high and dry showing me severely complicated ways to solve a math problem that cannot be replicated.

High Potential with Little Flaws — Building Up This Bigger Issue. PhotoStudy, unlike any other tutoring app, allows students the chance to see their answer(s) at the end instead of just waiting for the student themselves to solve it. This, in many ways, can be beneficial or harmful depending on the usage. However, if there is one thing to complain about, it is the time limit. I have no idea why there is a time limit — making the tutor having to work extra fast with little time to obviously explain and the student just sitting there. There could be some interaction in my opinion, if you’re gonna include a time limit at the very least. But no. The tutors unfortunately sound very much like the bots themselves and if you ask them a question, it does not get answered until all of the CnPed parts are down. Why that matters more than the question at hand is a big concern too. I would like to thank them for allowing me to test the app though! I definitely think you all have potential, it’s just that these little flaws build up this bigger issue.

Needs improvement. The app would honestly skyrocketed if it werent for a couple of things. First, how long it takes to answer a question. Even when you just want to double check your answer, it takes a long time. Second, tutors rejecting sessions due to “unclear image” when the image is crystal clear. Third, sometimes problems dont get solved even if you exceed you 10 min limit. So you’re left hanging after 20 mins. The app just needs a lot of upgrade because it has a lot of potential to be better. Also one session is $3.99 which is honestly crazy to me. You’re trying to get your money’s worth since you spent so much on it.

Amazing!!!. Helped me so much with my work giving detailed explanations. Definitely saved me a ton! And the answers are correct and offer step-by-step help. They usually take less than 10 minutes to answer. Sometimes it can extend but it’s free of charge.

Amazing!. So, I was previously an advanced math student but then decided to go back. Everything was simple until I forgot some things. This app has made me understand the concept again and help me out with my homework! Never failing math again. 🙌🏽

Terrible. I’ve tried to use this so many times. Each time it starts with a question “do you agree to not share anything personal?” Then I don’t have a place to type a response or select yes or no. And then a few minutes later it says sorry can’t connect to the person. I've had issues with several people and sometime it just connects me to the same person. Terrible, used to work great before all this pay to use and takes forever to get a response. Will never be using this app again.

Why do we have to pay for EVERYTHING now???. Okay, I would use this app all the time man! I loved how the experts would explain answers and for free once everyday. But now u have to pay for every problem?! I don’t get why you changed the app and made it look so money hungry. I think you should have ads to watch for 1 answer from an expert or something. I’d rather watch ads then put 30$ into an app for homework help. Horrible. I got this app needing help with homework and I have to pay $1 for a single math problem and my homework was 50 questions of stuff I didn’t even underdstans ... if u think im going to spend $50 on this app then u lost u mind .. don’t download unless ur really rich .. and that’s not all the one problem that I paid for the so called “expert “ to do they got it wrong so why would I spend $50 just to get my whole math worksheet wrong .. I think I might be able to deal with it if this app was free .. but I found this app that’s actually free called “ Photomath” that I don’t even have to pay for and it actually gets questions right and ITS FREE u can actually get a math worksheet done without having to pay $100 I swear this is a scam like I get it u have to make money but the least you could do if give people like 10 free problems a day and have them pay for the rest cuz some people don’t have a $100 to have help with 1 worksheet they don’t understand like what a rip off I’m going back to photo math

Review. The app is really helpful but you have to use those coins to be able to use an expert in when you run out of those then how do you get help. I feel like it should help you whenever you need it but instead it makes you buy it which I don’t think is helpful because what if you don’t have money to pay for it or something like that.

Tired of the games. Ok now don’t get me wrong this is an amazing helpful app but one time I used this app and I sent my problem but it kept saying it’s not clear so basically I used a session and didn’t get it back I’ve emailed someone about it and I still didn’t receive my session back so the lady told me to give my feedback through the app and I did and I STILL NEVER RECEIVED MY SESSION so I won’t be spending anymore money on this app until I receive my session again this app is really helpful but just bad with giving back sessions.

Lazy writing tutors. Tutors are just bots in general. I sent a 5 page essay, explaining the topic, what story it is, and telling them that I need help on it. I waited 2 days to get my results back, the only thing I got is “sadness is not a tone” out of the 5 page essay I needed help on… 2 days just to get that back and that “tutor” probably didn’t read the story… also needed help on some stats homework and I literally got the same responses from these “tutors” even with different questions

Diverse Curriculum! Outstanding app!!. I am attending Engineering school and this app. has definitely helped me obtain a better understanding in reference to the numerous dynamics of General Engineering. It has also even further educated me in calculating Specific Gravity, density (rho), and many other even more detailed Engineering applications. It has even allowed me to gain a better understanding of Chemistry and my Mathematics. I do however wish there were more ways to obtain free in-app. purchases. I understand nothing is free but I am also a Father of two in his early 30’s trying to put myself through Engineering school, raise children, and we all know the story. Yes, it’s a struggle, so that would be my only hold back from voting 5 stars instead of 4. Overall, I truly enjoy the app. and I am very thankful I found it. I believe it can and will continue to grow and help many others present and future.

Best thing ever !!. So I was really stuck on a maths question and I could not understand it so I downloaded this app and as soon as I uploaded my question they responded straight away and gave the correct working!

Needs to be fixed. This app has helped me so much with math homework and assignments- it's amazing. However, since it updated it keeps on automatically going back to the camera. I can't even ask questions because of this bug. Please fix it!

Rude, Slow and Wrong!. If you're thinking of getting this app, think again. The "experts" are condescending at best and respond very slowly. You are given a ten minute window and most of it is spent staring at the (...) when the expert is typing. They seem to understand basic maths and can get an answer but all the answers I got were completely different to what the question even asked. I needed one quick answer to help with solving an extended algebraic equation and at the end of the ten minutes all he'd taught me how to graph a coordinate. HONESTLY! and then they charge you for minutes that you spend waiting for a reply. All of your "experts" use the same replies and the only reason I'm not convinced you're all robots is one expert had the nerve to tell me that the reason I wasn't understanding is because I wasn't reading what he sent. Sincerely, Disgusted and uninstalled.

Brilliant. Whilst most of the conversations are templates, 90% of the time I get responses that are incredibly helpful especially the night before tests, or when I need some quick help if I can't get onto my teacher. Definitely worth giving a go, credits do run out pretty quickly, but for me purchasing more is totally worth the convenience of the app.

Best for homework. This app is amazing to help you with maths homework I understand why you want people to pay for credits but their should be a Survey which can be taken to earn credit

Most helpful app ever!. This app has helped me a lot while doing homework and the experts explain a lot of things to me. I recommend this app to anybody who needs a little extra help in studies. I also understand why there are credits but instead of making us pay money maybe you could make us watch advertisements or a survey because we are still students and personally I don't really want to spend money on apps. Other than that it's an awesome application

Don't know why I bother. It gives good answers, yeah, but I can never post a question because I never have credits to be able to. Can you please just get rid of the credit thing and let people get help with their homework?

not that helpful.. they do effectively answer your maths equations but it looks like they don't read the instructions YOU wrote. there were times where they avoided my questions when i was stuck. they deliberately type fairly slow to waste the majority of the session time so you don't get to ask questions at the end of the lesson. i don't think this site is worth spending money on.

Umm.... They make you have to pay for help when you could ask your teacher or parents for help for free😕 I don't like that

I've had some great experiences with this app and some really good help. unfortunately the bulk of the help I have received has been worthless, counter-productive and a waste of time and sometimes money. also it seems that every time I go to open the app I need to update to the latest version which is a tad annoying. finally why did you remove the ability to look at the solutions that had been given to others? that was handy and useful to give accurate ratings of the help I received. please reinstate that.

Great app!. This app is really great if you are doing study or homework and don't quite understand a question. People complaining that it costs money need to realise that the people answering your questions aren't doing it for fun and is probably a means of income for them. If you want maths help then ask your parents to pay, I'm sure they would be more than happy to pay if it's going to help your studies. If not, get a job and start to pay for things yourself. However I think the developers could add a tab down the side for people to watch videos or an option that can be turned on or off to display ads in the app for free credits somehow for students that don't have lots of money. Bottom line is it's a great app for answering questions on the fly, but don't expect tutor level help, the experts only have 10 minutes to answer your question. Good luck!

Dissapointed. The app is hard to navigate as I cannot find a help button that may help me with the issue of being unable to take or attach a photo. I also am unsure as to if I am able to help answer other peoples questions? Please help, I'm willing to pay if this is fixed

Answers not always right. There are times when the answers aren't right or finished, it seems that experts are trying to rush the questions so they make mistakes like this and leaves before the asker can say anything. Apart from that everything's good :)

It could be better. It's alright but it could be better. This app is probably used mostly by teens who can't buy the credits so they should give more for free. It's supposed to be helping people so don't make it all about the money.

Absolutely Amazing!!!. This app is the greatest thing ever. When there is no one around I will always have a helping hand thanks to these guys. The only down sides are that some of the explainers still don't explain them properly but still mostly good. Another down side is that once you are out of coins then you have to pay real money to ask them to solve a problem. Otherwise amazing app !!!

Savior!. Got a tough Calculus question to submit but no one can help. Luckily I found this app. Was a bit hesitated at first since many apps are just scam, but this is the best $1 I hv ever spent! Great but.... This app is amazing with fast answers, but when taking a photo, the app doesn't let the camera focus on the object/paper which ends up being blurry, and also it would be nice if you didn't have to instantly take a photo, so can pick from your photos instead.

Horrible. Don't waste your time. No one helps explain the question to you, you're left waited Ng for hours on end to be told no one can help. If the person provides a terrible explanation and you resubmit it, you won't get help again, you'll have to pay more money. Nor can you ever log into your own account. Wasteful and useless.

Good App but lacks one major thing!. I can't deny how much I like this app but seniors like me NEED this a lot and it would greatly save lives if there was an option to purchase unlimited credits like many other apps do (and maybe another one for unlimited credits and 30 mins since I have some hard questions which cannot be done in 10 mins). I know many many many people will agree with me on this point. Adding these suggested options will also greatly increase the amount of users that will use this app which would be beneficial for you guys. Stupid. When you used to create a new account you’d get one free credit but now, nothing. Why?

Problems. Some people are good and others rip you off I've gotten help by 5 different people, 2 actually gave me answers while 3 of them left me hanging. They replied like they were helping but hours later and you can't contact them and they can only contact you. You also can't ask for help to someone else while another question is in progress. You also can't contact anyone about this as they do not have a contact page

this app sucks. all i wanted was an answer to simple chemistry question and all the “expert” did was tell me the right answer instead of explaining it to me how they got it. when i asked for clarification, no one responded. this happened 3 times in a row.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP!!!!!!. This app is awful!! You pay for 5 sessions daily and at the beginning of the day on multiple occasions, my daily credit started at either 2 or 3! When i payed for 5! Also, the help is terrible. The tutors are rude when they question why you’re unfamiliar with a topic and make you feel like you should’ve known this concept by now. Thats not the point!! The point is to help someone learn the concept, not question why they don’t already know it. Also, it takes so long for the tutors to help you. And when they do, they don’t like when you ask for a certain explanation or strategy that your teacher has taught you. I had to ask for help on a question with several attempts. And not once have I gotten the answer for that question. And with every attempt, you’re just sitting there, 20 mins at a time, waiting for a response. Also, when you do get a response from a tutor, this feature that says “i’m still working” keeps coming up while you’re typing so it takes up ur time when u have to constantly press “yes”. The worst app ever. Do not buy this app or pay for anything. I would like my money back.

Great for high school math and affordable. This app is actually surprisingly good. I’m in AP advanced functions and this app helps a lot (because there are great teachers on the app). Also you get like a free session almost every day you log in. But even when you buy sessions the price isn’t even bad. So glad I have this app to talk to professionals and don’t have to pay for Sunday school or awkwardly ask my actual teacher for help and have them judge me in person. Lol?

this app is literally horrible. i asked a chemistry question straight from a chemistry textbook and it was unable to connect me to someone AND it told me it was not a chemistry question. on top of that i was charged a session. i had an exam the next day and really needed the extra help and this app really disappointed me. a few years back this app was amazing and all i ever needed. Now i redownloaded it and it’s horrible. the “experts” do not help at all.

Awful Do Not Buy(if I could give this 0 stars I would!). When I put I photo in of chem homework I did show me how to do it. IT IS A SCAM!!!! Every time I put in a problem it brought me right back to were I need a expert! I even tried it one a simple problem such as 1+1 and it still brought right back to the expert! I also tried another problem (1nx)2 dx —— x Again right back to the expert. It will not help you unless you have the expert. Short answer DO NOT GET THIS APP!!!!

The Concept Is Good However.... The experts are a big help, but the fact that you have to pay to get more live sessions is a downfall. This means you can only get help once without having to pay just to get more answers.

Wish there were more sessions for monthly pass.. I find this app very helpful, the live instructors are always kind and help you solve your problem even if over 10 minutes. Since buying the monthly pass I run out of 3 sessions and wish It came with more for the price of $30.

It’s okay. Honestly it’s a great app for finding out ONE problem. Other than that the academy doesn’t seem to be able to help solve my questions. I downloaded this app because I needed help with my homework, So then I used it and It did help me but when I got the paper back from my teacher I got the answer wrong. Please get better experts. This app really does help me, but just now I needed help with a problem, but the expert isn’t even doing anything it’s been 20 minutes and no response and that is not very helpful and there are some who actually help me and some who give me wrong answers. I get that buying more sessions will be towards the experts and all that, but I need a few more free sessions. Plus, I am not fond of a robot to help me.

Great until you’re desperate. On ONE occasion I was incredibly stressed out because I didn’t understand the assignment. I couldn’t get an expert until an hour before the class. It took 18 sleepless hours trying to get someone to explain the concept. It was a three part word problem and it looked like a lot.

Saved my sorry self. So I’m a freshman in college and I’m taking a mandatory calc class, THIS APP! I got help within seconds and I managed to understand everything step by step.

Surprisingly Satisfied. As an 8th grade Algebra I student I’m very satisfied with this app. I have tried many other apps that will just leave me confused but this one is different! I’m never confused after I finish my one on one sessions with a private tutor. Overall great app :)

Not accurate. I have done problems on this app. First of all, they “expert” takes a long time to get the answer back to you. Second, the answer wasn’t even correct and the way they did it made no sense at all. I’ve just wasted 30 minutes on this app hoping to finally get past the problem and in the end I should of just used a different one. I can’t believe people actually pay for this.

Great idea, poor execution. This app would be super helpful to students if it worked. It rarely connects you to an expert without dropping you after making you wait for at least 10 minutes. It is wayyy too expensive for students, who are usually on a tight budget. I really love the idea for this app, but it just doesn’t work.

Connectivity issues. When I first started using the app I didn’t have any issues but now when I submit a question that may be more difficult the tutor has connectivity issues. I submitted one question 4 times and no one would solve it. I’m not sure what to do in this situation but the app does seem to be helpful for some just not me especially after purchased a subscription.

I’ve had 1/7 of my questions answered.. I’ve submitted 7 questions. 4 experts had connectivity issues. 2 experts couldn’t solve the problem. I feel like this speaks for itself. I’m really disappointed but I do look forward to an update - ASAP. I also paid for the $20 monthly pass.

Great Idea. Okay, I do believe that this is a good idea and it really helps me with my math because our teacher explains nothing to us. But I will say it cause a lot to just get 1 session. It use to be helpful not anymore. I had this app for a while now and it use to be really helpful and I would get connected immediately. Recently it does not even connect me to anyone or it takes twenty minutes just to tell me there was an issue connecting. It's pricey and most of my answers were wrong.
