Amazing App. I love using this app, I discovered it when my baby was a few months old. As a new mom I didn’t really know what kinds of things I should be doing to help my baby progress through the stages of development. I love that this app shows me the milestones, gives us daily activities, helpful tips and articles, and so much more. I’ve been telling all my mom friends about it and am excited to use it in a few months with another little one.

Amazing tool for Learning. Not only is this a great tool for teaching children but for parents as well. As a mother of two children one needing speech therapy the other needing physical therapy this app is amazing. It has a lot of exercises from our therapy classes and more. Videos that show exactly what to do and how to do it. Clear labeling of what the exercises works on I.e. fine motor skills, social skills. It has easy to follow daily tasks, progress reports, and you can tailor what you are working on to where your child is. It has reading material, age appropriate milestones, parenting guides and tips. I love it, my infant loves it, my toddler loves it. I could not be happier!

Entertaining and helpful!. BabySparks is great! No new parent needs to pressure themselves too much because most of these activities simulate normal day-to-day interaction and play that most great parents do with their baby. However, I’m one of those people who will get stuck in a rut and end up doing the same 5 activities with baby over and over every day. This app provides a wide range of activities to vary your playtime. I love that the activity descriptions are clear, the link to the various developmental milestones is described right there in the activity and every activity has an accompanying video. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of a very slight misstep in the UI. It is mildly annoying that when you look at an activity it stops you on your way back to the main list to ask how the activity was. I like to look at the daily activities first thing in the morning and get an idea of what we’re going to try that day and again would be nice not to have to click extra times to get back to the main list. It’s an unnecessary step. It’s a small thing but over time feels cumbersome. Slightly more thought on how much button pushing is required in this app would make it a 5-star treat for every new parent!

Really?. I’ve just created my children’s profiles and clicked on a milestone to view it, and I was prompted to subscribe. I then went to view a potty training video and it again prompted me to purchase the lesson or subscribe. I am a pediatric nurse, thus my purpose in downloading this app is to find an easy tool that I can refer my patient’s parents use. I was attracted to this app because of it’s high 5-star rating and because of the activities and lessons that they suggest parents to do with their children. It seemed to serve as an easy guide for parents who want to help their children but don’t know how. There are many resources out there that cost little to nothing — if you have the means, why not purchase? But if you don’t, like many of us, then it’s not feasible to spend money on something like this. I’ll refer my parents to CDC Milestone Tracker, which is by the way a free service. I do appreciate the thought behind this app and I know the developers mean well; I’ve seen them reply to most, if not all, reviews. Kudos to people who keep our children in the best interests because it seems to be a shortage in pediatric services nationwide. Best wishes to all.

What the heck?. I was not able to keep this app on my phone for long due to my memory filling up. Which is obviously no fault of the company. But what’s irritating me is that I had to create an account with them (which would usually be no big deal), except for the fact that I had unsubscribed FIVE TIMES, and they’re still sending me several emails a day. I tried going into their website to “update my preferences”, but though the button appears on my website, I’m pretty sure it’s nonexistent. My phone was not frozen, internet is working fine, but the button would not click. Instead my screen would just zoom in on it, which it only does when I want to click on anything but a button. Anyway, this is not cool and not professional and I really want to stop having these crowd my email.

Love it. I absolutely love doing activities with my kids, I’m not always the most creative so this app really helps me do some pretty amazing activities that they love. It keeps everything new and exciting, and helps me to feel like I’m really spending quality time with them. I would recommend this app to anybody. Update: although the app is absolutely wonderful, trying to reach Customer Service to have a problem resolved is proving to be very difficult. I reached out two weeks ago with an issue, five days later got a reply with a resolution that had nothing to do with what I needed, I immediately replied and 5 more days still no response.

Can’t unsubscribe. I stumbled upon this app when I was home during my maternity leave. I just had my first child and thought it would be a fun app to explore seeing how I was home all day and I wanted to keep him active/learning and working towards milestones. So I THOUGHT I subscribed for a month. I figured, if I like it. I’ll purchase it for a longer period. Then I was charged for a year. So I bit the bullet. I swore I choose a month, but maybe it was an accident and I purchased a year subscription. What upsets me is not the fact that in a split second a $4 charge became a $25 charge...but the fact I can’t find anywhere to unsubscribe. The last thing I want is this app charging me another $25 automatically for ANOTHER year when I have opened this app only a handful of times. So frustrated.

“Updates” make it worse and the app pushes sleep training. The app was fine when I first purchased it, but in the past 6 months it has been updated twice. Both times making it worse than before. The last update seems to have erased all of the milestone dates that had been tracked. Milestone progress is at 0% after the last update and it’s not intuitive to figure out how to fix it. I’ve had to email supper twice for various things in 6 months. Also, some of the “milestones” and tips push sleep training. For example, a milestone is your baby sleeping through the night at an age well before that is developmentally appropriate. One of the tips is that at 4-6 months you can start sleep training. I am highly in favor of biologically normal sleep and do not intend to ever sleep train, but this app is set up in a way that shows my baby is behind if he isn’t sleep trained. I bought the lifetime membership because I intend to have more children, but I regret that.

Amazing! But.... I am a child development home visitor. I see 12-15 babies a week and help parents learn about developmental milestones and relevant activities. I love this app! I thought I had found the perfect tool to help during my visits. It allows me to enter the children and their date of birth. It even had “development professional” in the list of who is using the app. I purchased the subscription (one year) and then realized I was limited to five children. It would be great if there was a professional level subscription that allowed more. I think most full time professionals serve about the same number of children I do. It would also be awesome if the app went all the way to 36 months (but I won’t get too demanding) Overall, this is an wonderful tool for parents.

Worth the lifetime membership!. I bought this app when my second child was born. Unlike my first child, he had minor delays in development, from refusing to learn to walk and crawl to not wanting to speak. He did things differently. Sat in a “W position,” which the physical therapist and pediatricians said were bad for development and the spine. Anywho, this app helped me a lot through the first two years of his life. The instructional videos are easy to follow, and I liked having the checklist and seeing the growth/progress charts. I like that you can favor activities and that you can move to the next level once a baby masters a specific exercise. I recommend this app. I bought the lifetime membership!! You can also add more than one child.

Fear-based app. Avoid.. First time parents, do yourselves a favor and avoid this app. I understand where you’re at; I was desperate to do everything right by my baby and fill my knowledge gaps. However, this just made everything worse, increased our anxiety, and made us feel we weren’t doing enough. Instead of spending our time enjoying our newborn, we were constantly under pressure to do tasks to “ensure” their success. After 2 weeks we deleted the app, and guess what? She’s walked at 10 months, can already form words, and everyone comments on how intelligent she is. All babies develop differently, and she had a rather slow start in other areas. That can seem devastating in the moment, and this app capitalizes off that. If you want your little one to be a day ahead of that kid down the block, go for it, but that’s the bulk of the benefit you’ll get from all your investment.

High standard playing. When I first bought this app, first I thought it was monthly payment then when the entire year payment came out first I was a little upset and can’t get a hold of their billing department. Then there are the games, they expect you to have so many toys to play with that each activity is costing to go out and get the objects each activity. Example: grab five balls, each a different size and compare each size with the babies hands? Grab a sphere and have the baby practice crawling? Drop five objects in to cups...poke styrofoam? anyway you get the point. I don’t have styrofoam sitting around my house, I have a couple of balls and some blocks and a lot of toys, I went out and got some of the activity toys but each activity is until the next growth stage...so if you want to go out and buy several things to participate in the app then this is the app for you.

Easy to use and relatable. I have been using this app for baby’s developmental milestones and then for parenting lessons. I love the delivery style of both and the daily updates of age appropriate activities I can do with my baby. I can watch parenting lessons for up to a month after the live session which is very helpful since sometimes I miss it. This app has been easy to use since things got really busy post partum and I’m writing the review because it’s the only baby app I’ve kept since giving birth because it stays relevant and easy. It keeps me feeling like I know what I’m doing because I get research driven tips. I recommend it to friends and any new moms.

Baby Sparks ROCKS. I am dazzled by this APP. I am learning so many new things. I am a brand new grandma and am looking forward to some intense hands on caretaking when my daughter returns to work in two months. It has been 36 years since I cared for an infant and so much has changed. There is so much research based information how to give your baby the best support during their early development and it is not just about reading books to them. I mean who ever heard of tummy time and the negative effects if your baby doesn’t get enough?

Phenomenal. This app is SAVING me! I am a new mom of a 20 month old precious little girl. I don’t have any family around, have to work full time and want to teach her everything there is to learn. Baby Sparks has been my little bible of ideas for all of her needs. I get so excited every day/week to read what’s next and try new things with my toddler. She’s becoming so smart and able to handle new tasks every day. Every parent should have this and anyone who interacts with children. It’s unlike any learning app I’ve seen. THANK YOU for creating this gem!

Worth it. First time mommy here. I was at lost with what to do with my newborn. Initially, I YouTubed things to do, but I was looking for a convenient app that would give day by day exercises in both motor skills and brain development. Also, I wanted to be able to track what was completed or not. I was shocked to discover this app. The instructions are clear and easy to follow with a video demonstrating each activity. I wish I had this from the day she was born, and not at 7 weeks. I saw a difference after a couple days in her motor skill after doing the exercises suggested. I love how you can archive a skill as too easy once your child masters it, or to difficult if she is not ready for it. Yes this app is expensive, but I think it's worth the lifetime membership. You can use it for multiple children if you plan on having another.

Probably not going to use past a month if remains buggy. I paid for a month to see if I would like the app. I'm glad I did because so far, it is too buggy to be worth $38. On the main screen it says 'play with Clover' (my daughter's name) twice. Often when I click on things, I am left with a white screen. I can get things to load if I close the app and try again a few times. I like that the app is able to handle that my daughter is 2 months old already and not due yet. (12 weeks premature). The videos have good ideas, but should list recommended times. (Like, should I 'rotate her on her back like the hands of a clock' once or more. Should there be a time limit?). I like that multiple phones can be under the same account so my husband and I only had to pay once.

Ok but not for preemies. Updating my review: I’m not sure if they went in and fixed the issue but I went back into the app and saw it has my sons adjusted age. So I give it a 5 star because it is a great app to help with your child’s development! Our son is 10 weeks old but he was born 34 weeks (5 weeks early). For preemies, you take how many weeks they have been born subtract that by how many weeks they were early and that’s their developmental/gestational age. So he is at 5 weeks right now. I used the app a few times and it only gave me videos for 2 months old and he wasn’t responding at all because he’s too young. He’s basically acting like he is only 1 month old. He isn’t cooing, following objects or responding to sounds. The app is great if the baby is born at full term. It does not change it up for preemies, even though it has the option to check the premature box and add his original delivery date.

Inaccurate app. I purchased this app. However, I found this app as an completely inaccurate application based on baby’s age. In the system, it is displaying my baby age is one month whereas she is about three months. And, in daily exercises, the app wants me to do some exercise which are not appropriate for baby in one month or even two month old. You would harm your baby if you want follow those exercises! Moreover, In each exercise movie, it is showing a baby who can grab things and seat in two month( I was assuming the app is offering the exercises based on my baby age and it is customized service)! I was worry a lot why my baby cannot grab toys in two months age or why my baby cannot do the things that movie baby is doing. However, after study and probing my concern, I realized that this app is wrong and it is not my baby issue. Therefor, do not trust it , and do not perform all the exercises. Otherwise, you will harm your LO with these faulty plays and she would get pain👎👎👎👎

SCAM!. I never write a review but feel compelled to do so. I signed up for a newborn sleep class and paid $20. On the day of the class, Dad and I rearranged our schedule to be able to take this interactive class (hard to do with a newborn!) We waited an hour for the class to start and it never started. Others in the class were also chatting waiting for it to start. I HAD to reach out to babysparks and was told their was, “technical difficulties.” They automatically signed me up for another class, which I could not attend. Since it would be available to watch later, I thought whatever better than nothing. However, I now CANNOT WATCH THE CLASS. I reached out again to costumer service and was told to “delete and reinstall the app.” I did and wrote back that I still cannot view the class. I keep writing and get no response. Terrible customer service, no phone number. THIS IS A SCAM! I will be contacting my bank to file a fraudulent claim. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I am worried they now have my bank account info!

Best tried on a monthly basis. This app is pulling on the heartstrings of new parents and is not insightful enough to justify the 1 year subscription. There are many common sense things you would do anyway such as “allow baby to touch your face and say I am mommy”, “do tummy time”, or “go outside where there are lots of people”. We had a problem initially where the activities weren’t updating and were the same at 5 months as at 1 month but the developer quickly responded to my review and suggested I delete and reinstall the app which corrected the issue. Still, it took me 5 months into my 1 year subscription to notice because I just wasn’t turning to the app regularly since the activities were not very interesting. That being said, I like the way the activities are presented with short videos. If you are going to try this, I recommend going month to month to start.

Love the ideas and info!. It is perfect to see small development “games” to do with my 3 month old granddaughter for a few moments a day seeing “sensory or brain or motor skills” are being developed. But even better (in my opinion) is seeing this is a step in the sequence of developing the muscle/skills, (etc) for…rolling over, then for crawling for example. This app helps me interact, know the current developments and see how it plays into the next leaps. I raised 3 children and didn’t intentionally teach them from infancy who people “were & naming them” (developing relationships)… how cool! I always talked about what we were doing (but rarely said about the people!). Today is my second day with the app & I love it - thank you Baby Sparks

Catfish pricing / predatory action. As a new member of fatherhood, with the arrival of a newborn. I started searching for apps that would assist me on achieving my newborn milestone and read articles that would aid me on his care. The moment I opened this app… a promotion came up stating that I would receive a… “50% of the annual subscription after the 3-day trial period. But wait… “PROMOTION IS ONLY VALID FOR TODAY ONLY” I signed app because I did not want to miss on this great deal. The full membership price was charged after the 3-day trial period, and the promotion deal that was offered upon opening the app was not amended. This company swindle me with a fake offer upon opening the app to get me to signe up for the membership. However they never redeemed the deal they offered me. I even emailed the company on the second day of the trial period… asking about the promotion and confirm that it would be redeemed. Until this day I have not receive any email regarding my inquiring. This company just ghosted me about the promotional deal the offer. Beware future fathers and mother… this company offered you a deal to sign up and they do not amend it…

Worth every penny!. This is the best parenting app. There are so many classes, activities to do with your child, researched-backed articles. My son has met every milestone way earlier than all the kids around him. When he was 4 months old, I was told to stop breastfeeding because he stopped gaining weight. I joined two live breastfeeding classes where I got to talk to lactation consultants. They gave me tips and I was able to resume and I’m still breastfeeding at 14 months. That would have costed me twice that amount if I had hired someone to come to my home. It’s worth it 100 fold. Seriously! Get this app!

Love this app as a mom and teacher!. I love that the app gives individualized activities to children depending on where they are at developmentally with skills such as cognitive, gross motor, fine motor, speech, social-emotional, self-help, sensory, etc. I also enjoy the tips the app provides as well as the classes. Definitely worth the money! Some things I’d love to see added to the app are -being able to hear the teacher teaching the child(so being able to hear her voice). -being able to turn on captions on the classes so I can watch them without my sound on. -being able to say wether the activity was too easy, just right, or too difficult on previous days activities. (As a teacher who may only teach one child one day per week, it’s nice to be able to switch up the activities/use different days and still give my input on where the child is at developmentally).

I love this app!. As a stay at home mom of a 5 month old and a 2 1/2 year old, this app helps add fun and learning into our days. It also makes me feel like I am able to bond with each of my girls individually where they are at developmentally. I love that you can mark your favorite activities or tell the app when an activity is either too easy or to difficult for your child. If you mark an activity as being too easy it will take it out of the rotation. If you mark an activity as too difficult it will add it back into the rotation in 3 weeks. As a sleep deprived, busy mom who also wants to engage with her children, this app does all the thinking for me. When we have some free time all I have to do is go to today’s program and there is a list of fun, amazing ways to use that time while also fostering growth and development. I also love how it breaks down each activity into categories of Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Cognitive, Speech, Self Care and Social/Emotional activities. Keep up the great work BabySparks!

Great App-Misrepresented Pricing. I just downloaded this app and it is very useful for ideas for activities with my 4 month old. However part of the appeal to me was that I could share my expensive premium subscription with my husband and our primary caretaker- his grandmother. However when I shared with grandma and after much frustration getting her set up it then requires that we pay an extra $30 for her to have full access. This additional fee was not mentioned when I bought the premium subscription. Feels very bait and switch! So in a nutshell - I like the app and will keep it but I don’t feel good about the undisclosed up charge!

I love parts of it, but they need to change the criteria for activity recommendation. I have gotten great value from this app and would say it is worth it overall. However, it seems to be only for babies that are exactly on track with all development. My son is 16 months and not independently walking yet. It is not that big of a deal. Half of the activity recommendations made by the app are for a child that is walking unsupported. It does not matter how many times I report that activity being “too difficult” they still constantly recommend them. Likewise I have the same problem with some activities being far to easy, like self feeding, yet they continue to recommend. There should be a way to filter out activities based on capabilities of the child. Also, they offer a lot of activities that are not helpful because they aren’t an actual activity, but more of a general reminder of way to interact with your child in normal daily happenings. Furthermore, some of the activities I don’t agree with based on my parenting style. There should be a way to completely disqualify an activity suggested.

Good overall but can be improved. When I first started using it, I was under the impression that I would be able to purchase the entire package with $7.99. But some time down the road, they updated it and suddenly some activities are now locked and I'd need to pay more to unlock those. There's no way I'm allowing myself to keep falling in this money trap so I'll use whatever they decided was included in the 'full package' I bought until they run out. Most of the activities are fit for the age and easy to complete, but there are a few that I don't really care for. They let you archive an activity if it's too easy and that activity won't show up again, or postpone an activity if it's too difficult and it'll show up 3 weeks later.

Great development app. I looked forward to do this every day with my babe! It gave us great actives to do throughout the day and the progress was wonderful. It made me feel like my baby was heading in the right direction. One little suggestion that would be a nice change is when you click on an activity and then you swipe out a window pops up asking if it was completed or too hard. I think this is unnecessary because if it was completed or too difficult then I would have selected that option before swiping out of that activity. Is there a way to stop this?

Worth the subscription!!!. I absolutely love this app! My baby is a month old today and I’ve been using this app for the last couple weeks. The app gives us exercises and activities to do to help strengthen her muscles, including her brain. She has come so far thanks to this app. I love that you can track her weight and length and it shows you on the scale where she sits (above or below average). You can also track her milestones as well. It gives a plentiful amount of articles based on your babies age which come in so handy as well. It’s just a very helpful app and it’s 100% worth the money in my opinion.

Good content but glitchy. As a first time mom with very little prior experience with babies, I have found this app to be really helpful with finding activities to do with my new baby. However, there are technical glitches which are quickly becoming annoying and make the app almost unusable at times: multiple times a day, I get logged out of the app (sometimes even while using the app), so I’m constantly needing to log back in. On more than one occasion (and sometimes more than once a day), the activities for the day will change after I log back in. It’s frustrating to be logged out repeatedly, but it’s more annoying to have activities change and tracked progress lost as a result. For an app I paid for, I would expect not to have such buggy issues, and I hope an update comes soon to fix these problems. The content is very good, so I hope the technical kinks can be worked out.

Needs more settings and customization. The short animations when you complete/rate an activity and when you are a certain percentage towards being done with activities for the day are all very annoying and unskippable. You are unable to exit out of the activity while the animation is happening. The same type of thing happens when you want to see what an activity is and just want to watch the video before deciding to do it. After clicking on the activity and then go to exit out, a pop up automatically shows up for you to rate the difficulty of the activity. These hindrances would be all fine and well if there was a setting to turn them off BUT there is absolutely no settings menu or customizable options. A simple “turn off animations” and “turn off reminders to rate activities” would be a huge help! Otherwise, the activities are usually day to day type of things that are easy to add to normal play. I like to view the app at the beginning of the day and see how I can work in the activities during our daily routine. It gets a little repetitive sometimes but that’s fixed by having quite a few activities available to pick and choose.

Good tool a a decent price but some caveats. This is a useful tool to participate in and guide a child through developmental milestones. It also can provide a neutral talking space for inexperienced parents and carers. It is concise and effective. Little of the advice has contradicted my 30+ years experience as a caregiver, parent of 5, educator, and grandmother . That being said, I have paid the annual premium fee up front from the start. The many classes offered often state they are free for premium subscribers, sometimes restated by the provider during the video intro. For me, however, I still am prompted to pay a fee. Leaves a bitter taste if bait and switch or click greed for the app . Too bad. Because it is a solid framework to build daily structure upon.

Fantastic. This is hands-down the most comprehensive developmental app I’ve seen and used. I’m so glad I found it and used it with my daughter almost daily from 2months-2years. I loved how the recommended daily activities were tailored to where she was and that I was able track skills across all developmental domains. I found the video demos extremely helpful along with the activity descriptions. Each day took no more than 20 minutes to complete, but those 20 minutes were so valuable to not only her development, but they also served as a building block for my own understanding of child development and I learned how to facilitate her growth at every stage. I highly recommend this app to everyone and believe pediatricians should be recommending this app for their patients/parents!!

Great content, very poor technically. I’m really struggling with this app, and from the reviews this is pretty consistent... First, the app is not configured for IPhone X and above, so the top bar looks bad and the menu is hard to even activate. In the reviews there are countless issues where the customer service response is to delete and reinstall... That’s a workaround, not a real fix. I’ve deleted and reinstalled twice today, and my babies’ (twins) data all disappeared... I really want to like this (sometimes I do, when it’s working) and I was even going to gift it to my friends for Xmas, but now I feel like I’ll be foisting a frustrating app on them which doesn’t seem like a nice gift... I hope the tech team can get the resources to really improve this app.

Unusable - paid lifetime subscription. Update: The developer did respond to my email by telling me to delete and download the app again. I was able to access the paid videos. However I still have to log in every time I try to use it and logging in requires typing in your full email and password. When you have a baby ready to play it’s incredibly inconvenient and prevents me from using it much. For an almost $40 app (I have never paid this much for an app), it is not worth it. Despite paying the lifetime subscription, the subscription videos are locked and when I click on them, I am told to purchase a subscription again. When I look in the app to see my purchase history, it had no record of my purchase. However, I have an Apple receipt for the subscription and when I purchased it, it worked for a few days. In addition, I am constantly signed out and there is no option to save log in info or use fingerprint log in. As result I have to type my email and password every time. I have contacted the developer but so far I have received no response. There should be option to refund apps that do not work.

Grows with child. I love this app been using it since she was about four months old. You input the milestones your child has reached and it’ll give activities to help your child grow with things you have around the house. It even has a video to show you how to do sit activity. you can then write each activity as too easy perfect we’re too hard and it’ll just the next activity. I use the free version for a while, but quickly upgraded and now this is my second paid year of using it.

Helpful!. When my son was very young (1-2 months) and colicky, this app stressed me out. He was crying so much and not really able to do any of the suggested activities. At 2 months, he started crying less and we’ve been able to start incorporating the activities into his day. They’re great— simple, developmentally appropriate, and enjoyable for both of us. The demonstration videos are super helpful, too. Just a few minutes here and there are making a big difference in his development and I don’t have to spend time I don’t have figuring out what to do. I haven’t had much time to participate in many courses but did watch one on infant tummy massage that was excellent. I highly recommend this app for parents and caregivers!

Develop and grow with your baby using this app. Baby Sparks is a great application for Moms and Dads to use. BabySparks helps your baby develop Motor and fine skills as well as sensory skills and more. I highly recommend this application because, it will help you and your baby interact with different lessons daily. Each day is a new lesson and along the way you can track what’s easiest for him or her to do. There is a scale to monitor what is easy and what is hard for baby, you can easily see what activities are progressing and what actions need more work. Try this app out to gain a new perspective on brain development for your baby. You will be happy you did.

I feel closer to my baby. I feel closer to my baby using this app. He’s also 8 weeks old and during play time I try to do what I can to help his development but I don’t know what I’m doing. I’ll read books and do yummy time and sing but then I run out of ideas. This app suggest other ideas that I wouldn’t have thought up on my own that help with his development. They even have articles backing up why doing certain activities help his development! I don’t feel silly doing any of the activities knowing that it helps his mind grow! And it’s actually fun doing the activities during play time! I love that I can view the activities suggested for the next day to plan and prepare my day. Playtime now is more fun!

Highly recommended! Don’t waste your time with other apps.. I have tried several apps and this is by far the most comprehensive tool without being overwhelmed. The daily check list of the various 2-3 mins exercises are practical yet challenging for the child. I like that it provides videos explaining how to do it. Theres a list and photos of age appropriate toys with an explanation to why it’s beneficial per milestone development, which has helped save money and limit accumulation of useless toys. Highly recommend this app.

Very Poorly Designed. From the the initial look and feel of it, it feels very antiquated. The app is poorly designed, and not user friendly at all. To make matters worse, somehow my account information (either my email or pass was incorrect) and kicked me out — mind I tell you this is AFTER I PAID for the subscription. I contacted their support team and it has been well over a week that they respond once a day I’ve been going back and forth on. I sent them my subscription email verification and the welcome emails they’ve been sending me and STILL they they are not able to find my login even after I’ve sent them the emails they’ve been sending me. The brief moment I used the app, the use/feel felt very 2008ish to me not a modern app. I paid for the content which now I regret even paying for it. And when I asked for refund they referred me to the Apple team to get my money back. Garbage app, don’t bother with it. Use a more modern one like Kinedu.

Exactly what I was hoping for!. The app is great at making you aware of developmental milestones for your child and providing you with easy to understand activities to reach those milestones. It all comes at a great price that is much cheaper than the competitors with the same content. I did experience a small bug where the milestones tab wasn’t working, but I reached out to the support team and had an answer and solution within an hour or so. I rarely review apps, especially with 5 stars, but between the content and the way the team stands behind the app this one earned it.

Awesome, especially for first time parents!. I’m a first time mom of a 2.5 month old. Now that he’s awake for longer periods in the day, we were feeling a bit unsure of what to do with him to make sure he’s stimulated, learning, having fun, and bonding with us. This app is seriously worth every penny and we’ve so enjoyed spending time with him using the activities suggested. There is a good mix of different kinds of activities and every day is different. The videos and instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the milestones are useful. All in all a great app!

Useful but annoying at times. Overall, it is a useful app; it helps with your child development and gives you idea what you can actually do with them. There’s a couple things that annoy me though. A new day starts at 12am, after which you can’t add or change anything in the previous day (check any completed exercises for instance). Often, I don’t have time for it before 12am. Thus, at the end of the day it is as if we’ve done nothing... and then at the end of the week, when they send you a report, they kind of rebuke you (in a very delicate form) for not doing enough with your child. The other thing, it would’ve been so great if you could substitute exercises. Let’s say you can’t do this particular one today (you don't have the right equipment, your child is not in the mood, or you just don’t like the idea of doing it, etc.), and you do something else instead. You want it to count. Since you can’t, again it looks like you’ve accomplished nothing.

Nice in theory. It’s a great concept. The exercises are good, and it was nice to have something to follow along with at the beginning when newborns aren’t really doing much of anything. It disappoints when actual development begins, which is when this would be most helpful. It really doesn’t take into consideration that all babies develop at different rates. For example, there’s a type of crawling that the milestone lives under 6 months, but states that it may happen between 6-8 months. For our daughter she hit this at 8 months, but her crawling exercises and milestones are far surpassing what her actual abilities are (which are not delayed). It would be nice if the lists were not static, so that when I check off that milestone at 8 months those next milestones fall into place at the correct time. It’s a bit disheartening feeling like your child is “behind” when that is not true. Now I have to go back two months to check off the appropriate milestones, but honestly, my efforts are better used by just engaging and playing with her!

Great App, new parents can find lots of helpful resources here. I’m a new mom and I wish I’d used this app before my baby was born. If you are a new parent, very often you don’t know where to find reliable resources to learn and sometimes you don’t even know what to learn. This is a very nice centralized place to find materials to learn about taking care of baby. Sometimes I found good topics that I’ve never thought about before. I love most of the classes I’ve taken so far. Highly recommended.

Eh. Downloaded this and at first I liked that you can go through the milestones your child has gone through. You’re supposed to get a week of some activities free, or a couple of activities free daily for a week, well I got busy and wasn’t able to login and use the app for several days so I wasn’t able to go back to the free days that I was given to see if I liked the app enough to buy the subscription. Kinda pointless of giving the free activities if the app locks them the next day? I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or what but since I missed out on “trying” the app, definitely not going to waste money on a subscription for an app that I can’t even see if I like by trying out the activities. Developers need to fix this so customers can actually experience your app.

Such an amazing app!. With COVID shutting down a lot of sources and me being a first time parent not knowing where to start with it all. This app has helped immensely! Our daughter is now 6 months old and every WCC she has passed or been right at her milestones. I am lucky to be a stay at home mom so I can work with my daughter daily, but these exercises daily to do with your growing baby don’t take much time so even a working mom can get a few done a day! Really worth the money for the sub IMO!

Helpful activities. As a first time mum it gives me some ideas on how to help my baby develop mentally and physically.

Great ideas for play and development. Many different ideas for play and development

Perfect for all parents!. This app is very informative. It supported me in how to interact with my child every step of the way and matched his stage of development. The online learning sessions are fabulous also. Definitely a must have!

Great easy engaging activities. I enjoy this app for my two year old twins and my 11month old. Gives me great ideas of developmental activities to encourage each area of development, great money for value and you don’t need expensive props. I recommend this app!

Simple, Easy, Brilliant App!. BabySparks I have used with both my children (5mths & 23mths old) and track their progress simultaneously. Reaching and surpassing milestones, made easy by following simple instructions, clear videos using simple items/toys you would already have on hand. No need to buy special equipment! The kids don't even realise they are exercising or learning, they just think its playtime with Mum :) I enjoy spending this meaningful time with them and helping their progress at the same time xx Everyone always think my children are older then their age because of their abilities. Much of this credit goes to BabySparks for leading us in the right direction.

Concept is great. Just paid for the annual premium subscription but the app keeps glitching and crashing. I hope this is fixed. Otherwise I love having things to do each day with my newborn.

Can’t sync across devices. The concept of the app seems great but there’s no direction on how to sync the app across devices so both myself and my husband can login and tick off different activities. I can’t find any instructions online & their support team haven’t responded to our email asking

Great app. I enjoyed this app with my one year old. My only problem is the automatic renewal of dues. We aged out of it and I deleted the app, but was charged again for another year. Can you advise how to correct this? As far as content goes, highly recommend. Just make a note of the renewing fees!!

Great app!. Easy to use and not overwhelming with customised exercises, info on tools you’ll need and general information all based on your babies age! Highly recommended!

Shame about the updates. Used to be fantastic, however so many issues following all the updates. Far more glitches and not nearly as user friendly or easy to navigate as the old format. Very disappointed with the changes

Doesn’t display properly on max pro devices. I paid a subscription and can’t use the product as it doesn’t display properly on any of my pro max devices, the screen up top and down below cuts off which means no access to the menu section as it’s below the swipe line

Great app to keep track of milestones. Enjoy the activities that are given each day to do with your baby.

Highly recommend. This app has revolutionised our play time activities.

Used for only a few hours so far so good. Happy with it so far , would like more data and a way to capture the activity and file in the app as a reference and learning journal . However much better that other apps I tried .

Great app but some user friendly changes would help. Love this app for the developmental activities! Is there some way to set the app up so you don’t have to sign in every time? This is a serious time waster when dealing with a baby in one hand and a phone in the other. Also would love for the activity views to be easier to switch in and out of. The extra screen if you don’t clean clothes activity completed is annoying. Otherwise it’s a great tool for aiding baby play time.

No functionality at all. This app doesn't seem to have anything in it - there are no activities at all. It seems you have to purchase a subscription but it doesn't even let you do that - nothing happens. The prices mention US dollars so maybe it doesn't work outside the US? There doesn't seem to be a way to do anything with the app. I'm going to delete it now and use Kinedu instead.

Best App -if you get lifetime subscription. Absolutely love this app., great for ideas and help with getting to those milestones and knowing what they are as baby develop daily, i got life time membership for my first born who 3 year old now and added my second child free i can switch between profiles easily. From what i read on other reviews- I think it was worth the money on this type of subscription. Ive discovered new trick in using the app as going along.. you can scroll through to next or past days and mark off milestone with set dates. It updates the program activities when you mark things off.

Difficult to cancel. I am finding it difficult to cancel my month to month subscription to this app. Their advice online is to cancel via ITunes subscriptions, but it does not appear here and is charged to my credit card directly by Baby Sparks. There is an option on the app to change your subscription but not to cancel it. Very annoying! I have sent an email to their customer care.

Impossobke to unsubscribe. I paid for this App in 2017. I was very happy with it, but they automatically renewed my subscription without my permission for one more year. Now I received again an email that it will renew automatically again in the 21st of March and I’m trying to unsubscribe and I can’t see anywhere to do this. Very unethical. I’mextremely upset. I will contact Apple to let them now how this people work.

Love it. It’s so helpful as it’s sometimes hard to know how to play with a young baby. I’ve been using it for all my 3 children ! Def recommend

Improvement Needed. Love this app. It definitely helped my son progress through his milestones. The activities are simple and effective. Now that my son is a little older, he is charging through his milestones and has surpassed the app. I have had to create a second child who is three months older than my son to find activities that will benefit him. Perhaps you need to make it so, when the child surpasses a milestone, the next set of activities appear. Instead of only categorising them in age groups. There needs to be better correlation between milestones reached and activities available. When I come from an activity I’m not ready to complete yet, I don’t want to be asked if I want to close and continue; that’s why I pressed the back button in the first place. Get rid of that page. The app is well worth the money anyhow.

My review. Just bought this app recently and the articles are very informative in it and the activities are simple to do with bubba! ☺️

Nice activities, poor access to other features. Unfortunately, although the app provides a good variety of activities, it needs improvement as there are too many issues with accessing classes or articles. It’s been months now since this is going on. This is disappointing as I have purchased the plan for 1 year and was hoping to be able to use it more.

Unable to access activities I pay for. For some reason I can no longer access paid activities even though I have an activity subscription. I have emailed support multiple times and constantly get told to SYNC the app, which clearly doesn’t work. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no success either. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS APP, THE SUPPORT IS USELESS TOO. I’m so fed up!

Love it!. So good for me to work out what to do with my bub each day. Very needed as I’m so tired I need the very clear videos and descriptions to follow!

Love this app. Has great activities that help with development. My first boy ended up having a rare generic duplication that caused delays and disability that went undiagnosed until 1 year, but I helped him so much from birth by using these activities to help with his milestones and he’s doing so well. Been great for my second typical daughter for good ideas for play!

Content good but app nearly unusable. Every time I get a notification about an article in my feed, I open the app, scroll through the feed to find it then just as I’m about to open it, the feed refreshes and takes me back to where it was the last time I was in there with the new content missing. It means I basically don’t use it anymore despite the content being very good, I don’t have the time or patience for rebooting / looking again (nor should I need to given I’m paying for the service)

Didn’t work after subscription. I paid for one year subscription, and still doesn’t let me use it and ask me to subscribe, and when I click on it , it says you are already subscribed. It has been waste of time.

Great exercises. Great daily exercises that you can do without long introductions! The videos cut straight to the chase (unlike other videos by competitors!) Priceless when you’ve got an impatient toddler in tow!

Great Ideas for Wake Time. I love that this app gives me different ideas to do with our little girl during her morning wake time. It has helped me to notice different developmental milestones I may not have otherwise noticed.

Activities are great but app keeps freezing. The daily activities and information are all very helpful and great, especially the videos to demonstrate each activity. However, my app freezes each time I complete and activity and I have to close it and re open it every time. Finding this to be very annoying!

Quality app - Happy mum ! Happy bub !. Has easy to follow activities, most don’t require special properties. Been only couple of weeks, I am already seeing improvements (esp tummy time) for my 5 month old. It gives me confidence that I am helping my bub in the right way at the right time. 4 star because I want to use it long term to give holistic feedback ! :-)

Must use app daily get Free activities. If you don’t use the app daily you don’t get access to the free activities for that day. Only get 2 free activities a day. $60 for a lifetime subscription seems a bit too expensive for what you get. Plenty of other options out there. *Edited to reply to your response* Thank you for your response, You said that the app adapts to our individual child’s need when we tick off and activity as done etc... well I just had two days in a row that the app has given me the same free activities. I have previously marked them as completed and archived them because they are too easy, yet they have popped up again yesterday and today.

Fallen out of love. We used this app regularly 4 years ago with our older child, it was fabulous. Second time round we discovered our fully paid version is now downgraded to a subscription to access the same data. Happy to pay for the “extras” offered but annoyed at a very expensive base price, especially as our second child needs more development help. Feels like we are paying twice for the same materials.

Great but too pricey. It’s great for giving ideas on what activities can help baby reach developmental milestones. Subscription price is astronomical though, would definitely pay up to $10, but not $60 for full lifetime access to the premium version.

Poor support, no response. The content is great, if only I could unlock all the activities I paid for! I purchased a monthly subscription, as I try before I buy, however for some reason it has not been recognized. I have repeatedly emailed the support, in the contact us section and have not received any response. I currently have paid for an app I can’t use to its fullest and the support center hasn’t given any support. Very unsatisfied customer.

Dejan. App was working fine until i purchased the full description and tried to share it, it just displays “something went wrong”. I tried logging out and unable to log back in. I tried resetting password but it just displays “something went wrong”. Now im locked out of my full subscription.

Love it. Love this app, I have a background in early childhood. I learn and are reminded of the simple ways to make improvements in my child’s development. It’s fantastic.

Great App. Although the pricing can be called “expensive”. This app is worth every cent! Couldn’t recommend enough

Great app for baby milestones. I wasn’t sure what I should be doing with my baby to achieve his milestones. But with baby sparks, it was made so much easier. He has achieved so much in so little time for this app.

Excellent App. This helped my son develop quicker than usual. He was rolling at 3.5 months he was more independent and we had a great time doing the activities! Highly recommended!

Excellent developmental guide, play ideas and leaning. I’m a paediatric physiotherapist, I download the app when my daughter was bore out of curiosity. I love how well set out the daily activities are. You can look ahead for activities to try next. Allows you to see where your child’s at and will alert you to when you might want to seek some extra support to give your child the best start.

Not impressed. I’m hoping someone can help me out as I signed up to the free trial and then was debited the amount from my account. I am not impressed because I would like to have made my mind up about the app before purchasing and now this app has gone and taken the monies out anyway. Could someone please contact me and help me with this. It clearly states on your intro page that you offer a free 3 day trial and the option to cancel within that timeframe is allowed. How come this wasn’t the case for me. I would like a refund.

Keeps crashing. I downloaded the app yesterday, paid for the subscription and haven’t been able to use it at all Today because it keeps crashing. I’ve restarted my phone, deleted the app and downloaded again and nothing seems to work. I’m so disappointed because it seemed like such a good thing

Exactly what it claims. BabySparks is just what it says it is. The app provides me with nearly a dozen activities to choose from each day, that promote all of the developmental areas for my child. None have required special equipment that is not found around the house or any kind of pre-planning. With the ability to archive things that are easy for your child and postpone things that are currently beyond them, the app caters directly to my child where they are in each area instead of just assuming all 10 month olds are the same, like other apps do. Best investment I've made.

WARNING. WARNING - make sure you delete the app after you stop using otherwise they will charge you again every year automatically without emailing you to tell you they have done it. I only used for a few months and then unknowingly have been charged for 3 years. Very unsatisfied customer

Waste of money and incorrectly aged exercises. Sadly felt like a waste of money. Even if I selected “too hard” or “too easy” for the exercises it still gave the same ones. Plus it was asking me to do exercises well out of by baby’s developmental range (based on research) which started to make me concerned my baby wasn’t developing right. Personally, it’s better to just get some Montessori toys and do your own research.

Great content!. I really enjoyed the app for ideas to spend time with my baby while supporting her with her development.

Great app for helping baby’s development. I’ve used this app for both of my babies and love it. It really takes the Stress out of coming up with ideas to support baby’s development. The instructions are clear and the activities are enhancing for both parents and babies. I love getting progress reports weekly too. Highly Recommend this!

Great for ideas. Being new to this it is great to have lots of ideas and to know that they are age appropriate and helping their development

They need this in french. All my friend speech french and they dint have a app like this . This app it the best for education of babies and toddlers . I wonder why i can’t logging my account on my pc ?? I paid for a life time and it dont show ??

Love. I think this app is great. Not only does it give me activities to do with my daughter, but they’re all productive. I do find some a little repetitive and wonder if they should count towards your activity count. Such as Say My Name.

Poor customer service. I took 5 live classes so that I can get 50 minutes free with an expert but that seems like a scam that they do. I set the dates for the consultation but I did not hear back from them at all. I sent an email to their support regarding this but did not hear back either. Very disappointing.

Good activities. So far I like the layout and activities! I didn’t like that I have to pay to use it, but it’s quite inexpensive and seems easy to cancel.

No variety. There’s no variety in the activities. “Talk to your baby” duh! Also, my little one is 4 months and has been holding her head up for a while and although I have marked the activities “too easy” it’s not providing me with anything different to challenge her.

Great potential BUT. This app constantly crashes. So much potential but I won’t be renewing my subscription because of this.

Nice app, misleading price plans. The app is decent, with good activity recommendations. However I cannot give a higher rating as the price plans are VERY misleading. The app pricing info clearly states that a $39.99 plan unlocks all premium features, but once you sign up you quickly find out this is not true. There is actually a much more expensive tier in order to unlock all features.

App. Doesn’t always open

Unfortunately disappointing. I really loved it at first. I noticed it was subscription based but for the amount you get it felt worth the cost to me. The cost was originally roughly $3 a month. It includes activities for your child, milestones, as well as height and weight tracker. HOWEVER, after my free trial was over (still had to pay your subscription fee to get the free trial). Now I’ve had an additional amount taken out. The activities I used to do daily with my son now have a lock and the have to pay premium for the “activity package”. Seems like a money scam to me.

Update issues. I really enjoy the app the videos are very helpful but when I went to update the app now it doesn’t open. Which is frustrating as I have paid for a yearly subscription.

Classes not included in membership. Would have purchased if some classes were included in membership like other apps.

Glitchy. App has been very glitchy lately. I can only click on two tasks for the day before the app stops responding and eventually kicks me out. I’ve tried restarting my phone but that doesn’t solve the problem. It was a great app when it was working but not when it stops working.

Fun & Rewarding. It’s fun to know the different milestones and help your little achieve them. The bonus is watching them grow and contributing to their life long skills! Highly recommend. It’s a win-win.

Prepare to be frustrated. This app is so glitchy that I can’t even get my baby’s photo to stay updated during the initial set up process. Keeps saying “no internet connection” for no reason. No comment on the activities themselves. Hopefully you manage to somehow sign into this.

Great app!. My baby loves the activities. It’s a great app to help with his development, plus you can track his progress such as his milestones, vitals, etc.

Waste of money. The activities listed are all just little things that most parents already do with their baby’s and are common sense to me. Unfortunately I missed the window to cancel the free trial and got suckered into paying for a year of an app I won’t use.

Waste of money. It was supposed to be a trial, but they charged me immediately. The videos are nothing new or special.

Great app!. This app will is incredible

Would not recommend. Many of the suggested activities are repeated for weeks; do not seem specific or appropriate for developmental ages.

Fantastic app. I have trained both my kids with baby sparks since they were 4 weeks old and I continue to do entertain my kids with baby spark activities . I recommend this app for all the new moms ...

Super utile. Très utile et super bien fait!

I love it - in theory. In want to love this app but it NEVER works properly. It is always frozen or doesn’t load at all - some functions work ok, but for a paid app I expect more .

Trap app. Let you download and register provide your personal information before letting you know this app is not free this is a trap if you offer less than 2% of your app free you should not be allowed to list it as free

Cannot tailor activities based on skill level. Cannot tailor activities based on skill level and there is no customer service to address this. I reached out over 2 weeks ago to see what I could do about the activities being related to preparing for skills my baby has mastered the actual skill a month ago. I have not received a response (other than an automated one saying I will get a response usually within 24 hrs) and have also followed up a second time and still no response. The activities for the last month have been related to “preparing to crawl” which my baby already does no problem. I have marked them as too easy and they still keep coming up and I am not getting the next level activities. Disappointed to be paying for something that doesn’t provide relevant activities and I can only go a day ahead.

Poor customer service. Still waiting for an email to reset my password. It's been a week

Great baby app!. Easy to follow. Clear video instructions.

Support Team ignored me. Could have been a great app except all my activities were locked upon subscription. Sent tons of email to support team but they went cold turkey on me. Update: Reply to devdloper response - You want me to email you guys after you ignored my emails? No thanks.

Babysparks app. I really love this app. It is very useful

False advertising. Does not adapt to individual baby needs especially if advanced. My baby crawled at 6m, walked at 8 and I’m getting activities to encourage to stand even when I checked off all the milestones completed up to 12 months! Very disappointed to have paid for this. Great for activities with normal age milestones. Still better than kinedu.

Not worth the money. I regret downloading this app and paying for it because I don’t get access to any of the classes with my membership. Apparently I have to subscribe to their premium membership which is even more money. I won’t be renewing my subscription.

After two days the app won’t stay open!. I have purchased the basic package as I am mainly interested in different activities to aide the development of my baby! After using it for only 2 days, there is a pop up for the annual premium package and if I chose to exit the add it closes the app! It does this every time I open the app. I would like to go back to having access to the activities as I enjoy learning new ways to interact and help improve my baby’s development! Note: I gave this a 5 star rating so that this message can be seen!

Love it!. As a first time mom of a 3 month old, this is super helpful. Whenever I’m unsure of what I should be doing this app guides me in the right direction☺️

Great App!!. As an educator, I love having resources to use in my classroom. This app is a GREAT resource for new moms, like myself, who have very little knowledge on baby development. So happy with this download.

Paid $40 and got nothing. Terrible app. Paid and it never unlocked anything. Tried contacting support, sent them proof of payment, never returned my emails. Don’t waste your money

Best app so far!. I love this app!!❤️❤️❤️ worth the money!

Amazing! Wish I found it sooner!. This app is wonderful! I love how it includes the video tutorials, quick and easy to understand and then try out with your baby. I like how you can give feedback on each exercise which then tailors what exercises are best based on where your baby is at! Use this everyday and tell everyone about it!

Great app 🤍. Definitely recommend it to every parent. Very helpful

Always loading, fix please. Awesome content. However, app always in loading mode since updated.

Money grabber. Not worth the download time... videos are too common, nothing new to learn for the average parent

Classes section never loads. Waste of money. The virtual class section doesn’t even load.

Terrible customer service!. I was hoping to sign up for their new year promotion which was half off for the annual subscription - instead I was charged for the full price! When I contacted customer service they promptly told me that the promotion had ended by the time my CC was charged, which wasn’t true. Since then, no one has responded to my follow up emails. I was looking for a price match but at this point, I want a full refund because the app isn’t worth it if they’re treating their subscribers like this. Awful experience so far!

Great. Good fit baby

A fun baby and me to do list. I love this app and having specific things to do every day. My babe loves them, I feel great about what we are working to achieve together.

Great app for baby activities. This app is great for finding activities to help your baby develop important skills.

Won’t stop sending emails. I tried it, didn’t want to continue. Months later and also many unsubscribe attempts and I still get emails from them.

Helpful. Very helpful app with a newborn on all topics

Great activities!. Love using this app with my baby :) gives us specific things to do everyday to help work towards his development. Our physiotherapist was very impressed with how he was doing when I brought him in and the skills he learned. Can’t recommend it enough! I wish there was a way to “skip” certain activities (i.e. introducing new people is one we are not doing because of Covid, don’t have the equipment for some at home).

Problem with subscription. I bought the subscription but I am still not able to access the activities they offer

Annoying. I’ve unsubscribed from all their newsletters (which I don’t remember subscribing for in the first place) and yet keep receiving them DAILY.

Lack of Personalization. I have to say…. For an app that cost $120 a year, when you setup your child’s profile and you select that you have a boy, you would assume that the descriptions and explanations would address accordingly. When explaining a milestone, it uses “her” or general female gender throughout. I’m not one of these “pronoun” type people but if I put that my child is a boy, please use him and he throughout your app. This is a very basic and easy fix….

Comprehensive. Everything you need to keep your little one entertained and their development on track all in one place. It takes the guess work out of planning and remembering which activities to introduce to your child on a daily basis. Each activity is further broken down into information about targeted milestones and includes articles related to development and milestones. Very user friendly!

Love this app. So easy to use and helps give me some guidance for how to best help my baby develop his skills. I notice more advanced behaviors when I do these exercises. The explanations and videos are very clear. The activities and daily goals make it very realistic to work into your days. 100% worth the $40 purchase to have this forever, plus I can put it on my parents’ and husband’s phone too.

Great developmental content. I’m so grateful for this app! Took the thinking and planning out of my schedule to create exercises to do with my children at their appropriate ages. Made reaching milestones that much easier because we started on time. I only wish I didn’t stop after they became toddlers, there’s still so much content to go over. Wow just wow!

Good app. I really enjoy this because it gives me ideas on keeping my baby entertained and at the same time helps with his development. Sometimes I forget to check off the activities completed until the next day and it’s too late to Mark the level of complexity. It would be best if this could be adjusted at any time instead of waiting for the next time the particular activity comes up again.

Pop up for subscription. I’ve had this app for about 5 minutes now and every 30 seconds the subscription ad pops up and if you’re browsing something on the app it just kind of freezes and I have to exit the app and restart where I left off but only for 30 seconds before it happens again. I want to check out the app to see if it’s what I’m looking for and I can’t even do that.

Great App. I am very impressed with this app. I started out with the free version but quickly switched to the premium because of all the benefits such as unlimited classes. I have learned so much through this app and it has helped me learn to better care for my baby. The instructors are very informative and the daily program is a good way to make sure I am doing things that will help my baby developmentally.

Natia. I am a first time mom, and I don't have much help around. I used to google a lot for tips, how to help my baby's development and it was very time-consuming, lots of articles, videos, plenty of information that wasn't exactly relevant.. then I tried 3 day trial of this app and it is so helpful I'm keeping it. It gives me daily program with videos and lots of information and facts according to my baby's age. Really helpful and wellmade👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Best $24 you can spend on your baby!. I was already playing with my newborn but wanted to ensure I was offering mental and visual development as well as the physical. This app gave me several options for each type of development, daily and is very user friendly. I think it’s the best $24 I could have spent on my baby boy! The value of a well balanced, engaged but not over stimulated baby is priceless!!!!

Fantastic Tool for new parents. I love this app! It has been such an excellent resource when finding my way as a first time mom. I take great comfort in knowing that I am helping my baby along their way with developmentally appropriate activities. I found it so hard to know what to do and how to fill my time in meaningful and beneficial ways.

I’m thankful for this app. I am by myself most of the day. Me and husband moved out of state and we don’t know anyone around here. I started feeling like everyday I’m playing with the same toys with my baby and I could even sense him getting a little bored. He gets so excited doing new activities everyday. I can’t believe how much he has been progressing. He just turned 6 months. I’m a huge fan of this app and so happy I came a crossed it!

Figuring out still, but almost a necessity for me!. Amazing program for someone who likes children and has a gentle touch. I was able to use without totally spending a ton of time. Want to see if doing the videos may help me reach a higher level of development or help someone who doesn’t have any experience with babies or kids. Worked for me because it’s fun, straightforward and interesting! Light version may help someone keep things interesting, random and lighthearted.

Amazing Development App for Babies!!. As a Father of 4 children, I have found this app to an indispensable tool in enriching my children’s development. I have seen firsthand the many benefits and improvements my children have experienced as a result of using this app. It is very easy to use, covers very important areas of their development and incorporates a wide variety of activities, and all the while I am bonding with my child. This app is an absolute MUST for every parent!

Good when it works. I really like this app but it’s constantly crashing. Like when I go to open the app, my screen will go black and return to my home screen. It stinks because I do like the activities so far (I’ve only done the free version because I don’t want to pay for something that keeps crashing on my phone). When it is working, there are cool daily activities, and articles that are informative and relevant.

No preview or sample before payment. This app looks like it has lots of potential. However, it requires blind trust and payment to see if it’s a good fit. I didn’t buy the paid membership but might have if there was an option to be able to view even 1 sample activity to gauge the formatting or have even a 5 minute trial period to see if it was going to offer new activities that we’re not already using throughout our day! It was also pretty disappointing that it required listing your email before learning that you can’t access the pertinent features without payment.

Very useful and educational. My favorite resource for learning about our baby boy. The activities are great, I learned about things I haven’t read in the typical baby books. The articles are great too, covering all aspects of development (cognitive, motor skills gross and fine, emotional). My favorite pastime while holding my napping son and the first thing I reach for when I want to do some activities.

Best thing I did developmentally for my Baby!. I❤️This is SO Much! I was a 1st time mom & had no clue what I should be doing daily. I can’t say we did it every single day & she has hit almost every single milestone EARLY!!! Best $24 I EVER spent! Plus I was able to set up a profile for both my nephews& share the account with both sisters! Or you can share with grandparents/family so they can see progress & also use under your account!

Great program. I love all the suggestions this program offers, and all the practice exercises it suggests to help little ones meet their milestones. The best part is the videos which help me understand how to do each exercise with my son. I think this app is almost perfect. My son is a little developmentally behind, and some suggestions if an activity is too hard, or maybe if the app showed and easier activity that leads up to the one that is too hard would be nice. Besides that I love this purchase!!!

Developmental delayed and disabled child. I like the option to rate each activity as too easy or too difficult and the too difficult will cycle back in 3 weeks. With a child who is developmentally delayed, I wish the daily activities were based on milestones rather than age of the child. I also wish the app contained special needs features. My daughters sight is significantly impaired and she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. An upgrade to this app would feature more videos for special needs children.

Good program, but subscription won’t share. Liking the app so far but unable to get my wife on the same program now that I’ve subscribed. It doesn’t seem like we should both have to subscribe to get access to the same exercises for our one child. EDIT: Figured this out, though we kind of had to work around it by reinviting my wife with a different email. It shouldn’t work this way. So at least she’s on. But now I’m downgrading my review to 2 stars because we have entirely different exercises each day. It’s like we are using two different apps. Not worth it for the sharing aspect.

Penalized for missing a previous day program. Baby Sparks has a lot of activities for development, however if you miss a day to see the program for that day you cannot play the videos from the previous day. It blocks the days the “Todays video” are not played. There are days life is busy and I do not have time to get on the app. I have sent 2 emails to the company asking for this to be fixed however it still blocks. This is frustrating especially since I bought the “lifetime” plan so I should have access to any day I choose.

Very informative app. The app is user friendly and offers great tips for a first time mom like me. I absolutely love the instructional videos, they’ve been a great guide in working on baby’s development. I’d definitely recommend this app, even if you’re not a first time mom. My husband downloaded it as well uses the videos to also work on baby’s development.

Love it, but need to access the day after beforehand. I love the app, and see how my baby is actually improving. The only thing is, I wish I could see the activities for the day after beforehand. I don’t have time to check my phone so much during the day, and it would be nice to be able to ‘plan’ tomorrow. Also I know it’s been mentioned. But if you forget to tick off activities for a day, it won’t allow you to do it another time.

Love it!. As a new mom I had no idea what I should be doing with my new baby. This helped us prepare our baby for all her landmarks. Now, with our second child, we forgot everything and redownloaded it to use with our new baby again. It’s really so nice. Our first child is fairly advanced for her age and we credit this app for helping us know what to do.

Gives our day some structured activity!. I discovered this app when my first born was 3 months old. With the second we used it from birth. It’s great to have some structured exercises and targets, especially when they are little you don’t always know what to do beyond tummy time and reading! And having them linked to milestones and with good instruction is so useful. Highly recommended.

Lost all my baby’s entries!. We used this app since 2018. We had a long list of milestones by date but they’ve all been erased! We did have an issue with our payment or maybe it was the update I don’t know, but all of our babies records are gone. I’m so sad. We enjoyed the old version while we used it but remember you’re better off writing important info down in a book then trusting an app. :(

More info than expected. The app has all the info I’ve looked for so far. It also provides you with exercises and lessons to develop the baby’s brain as early stage are the most important for a baby to learn. And for the first time parents it has detailed info which will help you incredibly helping your baby knowing his body parts and developing his/her muscle functions. Thank you very much

Everything remains locked. I purchased the app since it appears to have amazing videos and baby resources. I bought the one year subscription of $29 in order to unlock all videos and have full access. However after purchasing the app, I still don’t have full access. 80% of the videos are still locked. I emailed the company and someone was going to try to fix the problem, but I think they forgot about me since nothing had been done. I asked for my money back...no response from their part. Be careful about purchasing. Maybe just try a month subscription and not the whole year. See if this app works before investing so much money into it.

Glitchy ads/vitals. I just got the app, so this review is not for the entire app but just my experience in my first ten minutes. Every time I try to input vitals, when I click “save”, nothing happens. The ad for the membership is in the background, but the only way I can get back to the rest of the app is by closing out off the app and restarting it. The date also will only change to the date I choose about 33% of the time. It does actually save my vitals, but it’s annoying to have to go through that process each time.

Great. I’m a stay home Mom and I love this app. I would imagine these activities are what daycare would do. Makes it so easy to do daily activities and learning tasks that are fun and easy to track. No planning required the app does it for you! The only thing that would make this app even better is the ability to add photos or videos of your children doing the activities and then the option to make a picture book!

Essential. My sister recommended this to me when I had my first child and I know that it has been instrumental in my play with my infant and his development. Could not recommend it enough. Tons of information presented simply. Makes me feel like a great parent for helping my child and knowledgeable at ped appointments about all of the milestones he should be hitting at different stages.

Milestones not saved. I had this app for 12 months now. A lot of times when I open the app o have to open it multiple times just for my child’s name to pop up on the main menu. More times then not the milestones I marked off for him are no longer there and I have to mark them off again. It’s disappointing as I was using this app to see when milestones were met. I am a life time subscriber. Other then those two problems I find this app to be better then most others and will love to give five stars to have some of these bugs that are inconvenient fixed.

Fun and learning!. Wonderful app!!! I used to do activities with my LO but after a while we would get board doing the same thing over and over. Now we have a plan and each activity is not only a new way for us to interact but also helps him to develop and meet milestones. There has been a big change in his development just in the few weeks we have been doing BabySparks! It’s fun to watch him master skills he struggled with at first and now I have more games and activities to do with him each day.

Educational fun and full of fresh ideas. Being a mom is a ton of work and if u are like me, you are probably running low on creativity. This app has helped me stay on track with the amount of quality time spent with my child, has given me new perspectives, and have learned tons about child development.

Astonishing!. This app is simple to use and lets you play, bond and teach your baby all at the same time. My son is 4 months and can roll over, front to back and back to front, he can lay on his belly and look up at you, he knows his name and knows who the people are around him (mommy, daddy, bubby) he can sit for long periods of time without support, he’s almost crawling and can walk across A room just while holding your fingers. He can identify my nose, mouth, eyes and ears. And his personality is already formed. Thank you BabySparks!!

Good!. I decided to get a one year subscription for my baby girl and was glad to have done that. The activities were catered to her specific age and we had fun doing them together. I decided not to renew my subscription since my daughter is a toddler and we spend a lot of time outside of the house. I gave this 4 stars because now without the subscription, most of the activities are locked despite paying for a sub previously. With the cost, it would have been nice to have access to more than just 2-3 activities a day.

I need to know when I get my refund. So today I both an iTunes card for $50 for a baby Photo app and your app decided to change me for a yearly membership and I was like how did my $60 go to $30 then I say where my money went, i looked at what the transfer and it say you guys made me subscribed, I had just undescribed how long will it take to get a refund for the subscription I did not subscribe for because I really need my money for my baby photo editing app because I have a disability and I don’t got much much and I never subscribe to this and it says that I did and know I can’t get the subscription I really want it to the baby picture editing app

The best app for new moms. I am impressed with the useful videos of the app, and their effects on my son’s motor skills. I’ve seen a huge improvement in his speech and communication. I highly recommend it to all new moms out there who don’t have enough information on how to help their children and get them involved in different games to easily reach their milestones. The application has multiple activities and methods to keep track of your child’s milestones.

Worth it!. Love the videos and articles. Love how you can track milestones. Love that you can pick and choose which activities to do and indicate if it was too challenging or too easy. The activities seem to update as you put in which milestones your little one has achieved. It is also based on age and allows you to put in if your little one was premature. Great app!

Typos hold more weight than one may think. This app has been pretty decent so far for the most part. The formatting is exactly what I was looking for and the activities, milestones, and articles are all very useful. I appreciate the option to record whether an activity was too hard or too easy as well. One thing that contributed to my lower rating is the typo I found. It was a simple spelling error but typos of any kind should not be disregarded when it comes to any type of good being sold. Typos indicate carelessness and a lack of commitment to the product, which makes me more wary of that product as a consumer. The item suddenly appears less credible. Additionally, it’d be nice if the app could span a little further beyond age 2. Overall, a decent app, but a few minor changes are keeping it from being great.

Where did the milestones go??. Update: I appreciate the Developers response and was able to get the milestones back by deleting and reinstalling the app! There used to be a list of milestones that you could check off and had activities linked to each milestone. I prefer going by milestone and those activities specific to them... but now it just list “Gross Motor” and has a percentage by it...? Wondering if it’s changed and now a subscription is needed?

Worth it especially with paid subscription. I usually tend to avoid “free” apps that really aren’t great without paying a fee, and granted this app is limited if you don’t want to pay. However, I felt the subscription fee was truly minimal ($25 a year ish) for what you get. Milestones, tons of activities to play with your kiddo. These first few months I struggle with how to “play” with my newborn and I love how simple and straight forward each activity is. A video accompanies if you have questions. Truly so helpful!!

I like it so far!. I am a 3x mommy. My LO is 3 months old, this app has a list of different activities for you to do day by day which I love, the activities are simple but yet rewarding. My eldest two who are11 and 7 , are able to complete activities with the LO as well which I like. My only real suggestion would be to add some kind of timer into the app to complete the activities, bc of the pandemic I work from home . So in the mist of virtual learning with the two older kids, working, house chores, cooking, etc. I sometimes forget /or am just too busy yo complete activities with the baby. But overall I would recommend

Paid for full access and did not receive it. Paid for subscription and still do not have access to the content. They linked my subscription to a different account and offered to transfer it. They still not have done so. It has been about a month and I have sent them several emails requesting it be transferred or I be refunded. Still no answer. Would give 0 stars if I could. Will be referring to better business bureau. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 I’ve literally sent dozens of emails with no response... Developer responded to this comment asking me to forward the email so they can handle it... they still haven’t.

Best App for Babies! Worth every penny!!. I am a live in au pair and have been one for almost 8years now. I was introduced to this app working for a family in South Africa and have used it every since moving back to the US in other au pair/nanny jobs. I highly recommend this app, it gives extremely helpful and fun activities to do with babies and toddlers. It’s been the best resource for me!

Fun and easy!. I’m still in my free trial, but I know we will be paying for an annual subscription! The first few weeks with my baby, I had no idea what to do while she was awake. This gives me a good list of suggestions each day, and we’ve incorporated our favorite things in our daily activities! Plus, I appreciate the explanation of how the activity is helping her develop.

Great content. Suggested exercises are interesting and well described including the how to and the why. You can either watch the video or read the text as you choose which is convenient. The prompt asking for user input after opening each exercise is a bit laggy which can sometimes make simply browsing and reviewing the exercises before trying them slightly inconvenient.

A must have!. This program is AMAZING! This is my third child and I never knew how to “play” with my older children when they were newborns. This program provides so many great activities that really help with her development. My daughter rolled over at 3 months 4 days and I believe a big part of the success was due to the daily activities. I notice improvement in skills immediately after they are introduced.

Biggest scam. I have never used this app for whole year and this app auto renewed my subscription without giving the option to cancel subscription. My Apple subscription do not have the subscription valid but Baby spark took the money by saving our credit card number. There is no option to cancel the subscription in their app and when I contacted customer service for 2 time to cancel my subscription they did not replied to email or called me back. I have purchased 1 year subscription and never used it but to cancel next year subscription they did not give us the option and support to cancel until deduct for my next year subscription

Non-inclusive.. Hi, first of all props for adding in adjusted ages. That’s awesome. However, my son has a genetic syndrome that makes him slower to learn he’s actually 15mo old but has the ability of a 4-6mo old. Maybe this is a personal problem, but I can’t help but feel sad. Should I adjust the age on the app to how old I *think* he mentally is? He sees plenty of specialists and OT & PT so maybe I don’t need this app at all. I just wanted to see if this app could help us at home, but everything suggested for him isn’t in his ability yet.
