Great App!. Love this app, has been a life saver. Was using 2 different gps apps before, but didn’t like the routes it would direct me through. They couldn’t account for being a cmv. I also love how I’m able to check out the status of the truck stops along my route to help better plan my route. I would like to suggest a different voice, so it’s not so robotic. Only reason that it’s not a 5 star review is because of the last update, 5.3.7 Ever since I did this update, it won’t announce while connected to apple car play. It announces through the phone speaker instead. When connected via Bluetooth, it announces through the truck stereo. Never did that before.

App great, but yesterday navigation didn’t work. Developers please fix detected congestion. It repeats back to back, for like 5 min straight. I pay for this app so I don’t have to buy a 600 dollar or 400 dollar Harmon and have more junk in my truck. Yesterday app went out while traveling cross country during hurricane IDA, my load was 14 foot 2 inch and on my way through Texas, hit my highest car on table 1 on a bridge. Hit it slowly and ripped off a fin for the antenna. Really upset but price I pay for being cheap. Also, truckers path has gotten really expensive, diamond needs to be a little cheaper. I will spend the time planning routes every stop, limited to 3 at gold, kinda pricey cause I’m 2 years with the app, I could buy a gps unit. Price needs to come down!

Garbage. This app OSS no way near worth 169 for six months. It has repeatedly let me down. At first thought it was great. Within a couple days found the truth. Does not zoom in at important turns and intersection - your left looking at a display that’s showing miles. Used to pop up a screen showing close up of the turn and lane. That in the middle of driving in heavy traffic just stopped working. It stopped orienting in direction of travel. Keeps trying to add a new route on an old one rather than starting fresh. It’s simply a real pain in the neck. Pop ups asking about we with stations that you didn’t stop at and no way to turn this off and you must take away focus on driving to manually close it every time. Very disappointed. I want my money back

Still won’t open. The last two updates have locked out the app. It will not open at all. It was a huge problem last update and this update hasn’t resolved anything except causing it to hit home screen faster. Was beginning to start locking out free users prior to these last two updates, so I’m guessing that y’all slammed the nail on the coffin for us. It used to be a helpful app, now it requires full payment of any services rendered. (When it actually works, that is!) Update. I’ve fully updated my iOS and the app still locks out, but you can get some access now. Although it Puts ads covering the entire screen and makes it dangerous to use while driving. Navigation doesn’t work anymore without a gold subscription. To be fair though, it never really worked to begin with. The developers must think everyone is completely stupid. They took all the free information and decided to charge everyone for it. Even the weight station information isn’t correct. Horrible app and developer support is trying to smooth you over to purchase it. No thanks, I don’t need a sandpaper dill.!

Some Issues. I still think this is the best trucking up Around. Unfortunately there’s not very many good ones, So that’s not saying much. This app has an OK navigation system. I live in Newport Tennessee and they don’t even have my city listed. I also can’t type and addresses, it’s only for well-known destinations. I wish they would add more. Also, basically if you aren’t on the interstate or a major state road, you’re probably out of luck. I mainly use this app for checking waste stations, which I can get access to in the free version. This leaves no incentive for me to buy the app. Also there are other apps that allow you to to do the same thing. On top of that, $100 a year is kind of pricey. I understand why they are doing it and it is probably helping them improve their navigation system. But if Google maps can give you a navigation system for free, then why does this version cost $100 if it’s not nearly as good? If you Drive trucks for a living and then it may be worth it for you. But in my case I only drive trucks to haul equipment around, and there is no option for a cheaper subscription if I only use it a few hours a month. So I’d be paying too much. I would happily pay $100 and even more if the navigation system was actually worse what I’d be paying for it. For crying out loud, it doesn’t even list my city in Newport Tennessee as an option, and that’s my home base.

App. could use improvements.. I bought this app. as an up to date GPS to navigate my semi and 53’ trailer. At first I was happy with navigation, but found challenges in app. use. First I was on Metro(LG Stylos 6) and map update lagged, and seeking to realign map of find rest areas, truck stop, etc. just could not keep app. operating without lagging. Now I have AT&T with iPhone 12Max Pro too. The other day I lost all navigation due to app. update needed 24 hrs. plus after I needed navigation of this paid subscription. Also this app. wants constant feedback on status of lots where I am at and I have never been able to access that info for a stop I am trying to make. Still having app. lagg with 5G!!!!! Suggestions: 1)allow user option to turn off ASKING/FEEDBACK for lot information “OFF”. I want an app. that I am paying for to work for my needs before I am distracted to provide information I am not able to use myself. This app. is wanting me to contribute info.(i am not against), but I want guidance and functionality of app. as I have paid for. 2)CUSTOMER SERVICE WITHIN THE APP. I will not renew this app. the $100 I could have invested toward a Garmin, not dependent on a connection, developers, and customer service. This is an ok app. but needs user reliability improvements. Being an over-the-road driver, too much extra effort in user to provide into. to products paying for #1 is a distraction, but also a frustration not wanting to mitigate in an already busy day... KV

Nothing but headaches with paid subscription!!. There’s an old saying of “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again”. Well, with the Trucker Path paid subscription, I find that the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results to be a more accurate description of my experience. I paid a yearly subscription for the gold membership and it only worked for two days! Now the app stopped working and I can’t sign in. Keeps telling me user name and password don’t match. I try the “forgot password” feature on the sign in page and all I get is the page recycles right back to telling me the user name and password don’t match. I have talked to tech support numerous times (the most recent time I was on the phone for one straight hour with “Jason”, but nothing changes. I still keep getting booted off and have to deal with tech support each time. Well I have come to the conclusion that I’m throwing in the towel and demanding a refund on my subscription fee. Trucker Path used to be a valuable tool for drivers and it used to be free. But now that they want to be just one more entity with their hand in our pocket, the app seems to have too many flaws that just isn’t worth dealing with anymore.

A few weird bugs. I actually love this app. Only reason for 4 and not 5 is that it’ll ask me how the parking is somewhere while I’m still using the gps to drive, and I can’t see the map cause of the pop-up which is super annoying. Also does this thing where it’ll start off saying, for example, 0.4 miles turn left, where it usually counts down it’ll just get stuck on 0.4 miles. Then even after I make the turn it still says the same thing at the top until I restart the app. Again, not a deal breaker, just really annoying to have to fiddle with your phone while driving or pull over to fix it unless the Garmin is running,

Invaluable app. This is not a secret that this is the first app many of as CDL holder get once we get on the road. Check the WS status, history, reviews, parking spaces. Everything is wonderful. However I don’t understand the new parking system. It just doesn’t make sense. For a longer time all we had is empty, somewhat full, and full. Which was fine. But the this new way of selecting parking availability came up when we can check even more in depth, more increments in showing how full the parking is. Which is better. However why do these increments work only when updating the status but it still show the “old” way of empty, somewhat full, and full. For example, if most people selected 3/4 full when updating the status and someone, who’s looking for the parking, decides to check the status it will show him “full” or completely red. Well, it doesn’t make sense. When I update the status I didn’t intend to show that it’s “full” I intend to show “3/4 full”. In other words the updating system and the status system should look the same. So when one is looking for the parking, it would be possible to see that parking space is 95% full, not just red. For instance, (real life) there are around 10 parking spots on this huge track stop. Let’s call it 97% full. If enough people mark it 9/10 full, it will be visible. But it it will just show “red” (full) it’s useless for people in need of parking and it’s just interpreting it wrong.

Almost 5 years now. I’ve been using this app for almost 5 years now and they have drastically improved it and it’s came a very long ways I’m a Professional Over the road Driver coast to Coast and I really really enjoy using Truckers Path I also use the Garmin Dezl along side of this app and what I love about it is the Weight-station and Parking I noticed that now when you cross state lines it lets you know I would love to see time change updates added and marked on the map that would be beautiful but anyways I can’t do without this app it’s a must have if you’re a serious Trucker

It would be five stars but….. So I love the apps interface and the way it routes and the parking availability and the tolls and that you have the specific truck stop locations in the app but here lately the app has been crashing on me so badly that it locks me out of my phone and I can’t even power my phone off to exit the app it keeps making it to where I’m sending out an sos alert so I get my wife freaking out and 911 calling me asking me what my emergency is and how they can help me. And it always happens the same way. I get to my destination and if I don’t answer the did we bring you to the right place question right away I get locked out. So if this gets fixed it’ll be a five star app.

WHAT HAPPENED !!!?. This was an amazing app, I don’t know what happened recently, the new update is HORRIBLE !!!! The first 4 days of the update the gps wouldn’t navigate a thing, I tried redownloading and even restarting my phone (I have the latest iPhone and WiFi and high speed data), it was the GPS. Good thing I can navigate an atlas. Now it works but the gps doesn’t shut up !!! Every .2 miles it says what’s next and “detected congestion” is something the GPS says every .1 … YES .1 of a mile, I’m going to delete the app, it’s terrible get a Garmin or something (I got rid of my Garmin for this, but this is just ridiculous), and yes I paid full price for all the features of this app. If it’s not broke don’t fix it, I’m not sure what the point of the recent update was but please get rid of it, it’s that bad that my 5 star review went down to a 1, not even a 2. As a truck driver I cannot have my gps acting like this, It’s UNACCEPTABLE !!

My issues resolved.... This is one of the best apps for monitoring truck stop parking availability, weigh station status, and fuel prices. Brilliant user interface, just as well as it is user friendly. I personally recommend it for any trucker out there who has a tablet or cell phone handy, and wants to use it as part of their equipment, as it can be extremely useful. My issues were with my premium features, particularly “Night Mode”, and not being able to get them to work. However, the developer was quick to respond to my rant of frustration and helped me figure it out. Initially, I thought you had to sign in to restore your purchases... something I couldn’t do, because I didn’t have an account, nor would it even allow me to establish one either. If you are having trouble getting your purchased features to work, tapping on the “Your Account” heading and then “restore purchases” at the bottom of the screen, corrected this issue for me. My apologies to the dev, if I came across as being rude. This is what stress does to an old man like me hey lol.

Refuses to work properly. As a normal gps it’s fine. I would say it’s no better or worse the google maps or Apple Maps. The extra features rarely worked. One day it stopped alerting me to weigh stations (no settings were ever changed.) and I was never able to get it back. It however never missed a chance to ask me 3-5 questions about every weigh station it didn’t tell me about… I’ve had several gps/nav issues. One day it couldn’t find Joliet IL, with full service. Another day I was able to 45 minutes off a 75 minute drive by making a normal left turn ( in a small town in ga it wanted me to take a right, go up a blocked, take a right, go up a block, take a left etc etc about 25 times.) Overall it would be fine, if it were free, but I paid 15/month and got basically google maps, that’s too much for features that don’t work.

Great app. I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect much when I downloaded this app. I figured it would be wrong most of the time. Maybe get you close to where you was going, but I figured it would constantly get you on residential streets or maybe even lost. It’s a tool, like a wrench for a mechanic. It isn’t 100% right on all the time. But 99% of the time not only is it right, but it also tells you the company that your going to by the address you put in. Try to get that from Garmin or other truck GPS apps or high dollar GPS’s. I put my address in and it reassures me I’m going to the right place because the company name comes up. Thank You very much for creating such a high tech app for truck drivers! It helps out alot!

Why bother?. The main pushed function of this is the routing abilities. A pay once, stand alone GPS does a lot better job than this. The routing is not accurate, it’s very difficult to completely stop a trip once you have started it compared to a GPS. The very annoying search option tray is set to tapping the map instead of a button like most other apps. This is for those of you who change your search multiple times on a single search, like a quick draw. Only problem is it’s really easy to quick draw and get right in your way. As for data regarding weigh station, and parking, it’s based on user input and many times wrong. Are you willing to pay a high monthly fee for inaccurate routing and status data? If so, this the app for you. Don’t get me wrong, this app is useful, just not at the golden price they want for it. It’s basically a $5 pocket truckstop guide with questionable routing for a large yearly fee.

UNRELIABLE. Deceptive and useless app! I needed to find truck routes so I can safely drive my UHaul. I upgraded to the premium version because the app specifically shows that there is a truck route that is only accessible if you upgrade. Literally the first route it gave me has an unnecessary turn that goes on to a parkway!!! I wish I could include a screenshot of that route! I also got their generic message saying that the app is not responsible for specific routes for trucks. I clicked on "disagree" but it made no difference. Are you kidding me?! Why would you mislead people into upgrading in order to get the explicitly labeled TRUCK ROUTE if you cannot fulfill that?! This is unacceptable AND dangerous! Do not waste your time or money on this. It is not worth getting a traffic violation ticket on top of wasting your money!

Good, but not good. I have had this app for several months. It worked well the $30 package. I don’t know if I use it to its fullest but it worked for me until recently. It has been seven days and my app has not worked. There is no customer service that helps or get the problem solved…. they just keep telling me to delete the app and start it over. Turn off your phone. Turn it on have been doing this several times a day and that is not working.. but I can tell you what works… is the automatic payment that go through my account once a month for $30. I am beyond frustrated! I have asked him to either fix the app so I can use it or refund my money back now no one is communicating with me. I would appreciate if someone from this company could get in contact with me that would be lovely! I will update to inform if I have been refunded or if they get the app to work for me.

OTR Team Driver. Trucker Path has become our “go to” online application when it comes to otr navigation and choosing where to stop for fuel, food, and fun for both us and our doggies! The application is an invaluable resource and it’s the first online tool we recommend to newbies. And if trucking is your business I highly recommend the paid for version. It’s a business expense that is well worth the money. We still use a commercial truck onboard gps (Garmin), but Trucker Path fulfills the role of plugging all the gaps of info and is an excellent backup to the Garmin. Happy trails!

Not worth it. Way over priced for what you get. It will give you the nearest truck stop or parking area but even that has issues. You can be driving away from that stop and rather than showing what’s next it will keep showing you that stop. I want to know what is next in the direction I am driving and on the route I am on. You will be driving thinking that a certain place is coming up. Nope, on a different route or down a different path. It favors certain places as well. Will not show multiple stops at the same exit. Next, the app will glitch out and send you either in a circle or the wrong direction. It wasn’t there when I planned it but it decides without informing you that it is deciding to take you on a wild goose hunt. One headache after another. I paid for a month and had to stop using it because of the stress it was causing me. There are way better less frustrating FREE apps that i prefer. The little bit those mess up I can handle. At least they don’t decide to take me on a magic trip that wasn’t planned. And if they do switch they ask and give information about the new route so that you can make an informed decision. Do yourself a favor. Don’t waste the money on this. I almost threw my phone out the window of the truck it was that bad. This app cost me time and miles exceeding the $30 monthly price tag that I will never get back.

strong regrets. as much as I hate advertisements, I really regret how much I paid for the premium version of this app. Even after making that purchase, I still get the occasional pop-up ad and constantly bombarded with requests to answer questions about places I visited hours ago or what's happening at weighstations I'm passing, like I'm being enticed to unlawfully use my device while driving. These pop-ups block the view of navigation. Although there is an option to send a report about errors, it's not something that's easy to accomplish without pulling over... More than a few times the app has altered my route without notifying me. Just today I was 10 miles down the wrong highway before I realized it wasn't the route I had planned. Use it for a supplement, but if you rely on this app you will regret it.

Updates. What is going on with this app? It has worked great for years but since the last update the map and the tracking point don’t synchronize so I end up backing out of the app then go back into it so the tracking point will show where I am. I have removed the app and reinstalled it and restarted my phone but still having issues. Hope it’s fixed soon, thanks. Revision on app is now tracking good but I think the previous app was more accurate with the mileage to truck stops and rest areas. This can be critical when attempting to reach a place to park before running out of ELD hours or calculating distance for fuel. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

Time to throw away the Garmin GPS!!!. Just got the Gold version of the app. a couple of days ago and did one trip so far. My opinion is that it’s very good app for those of us who have a hard time following directions. It’s very precise and clear as to where to turn or direction to take. I find it repeats the directions several times for some it might not be that necessary but for myself I need it cause like I said sometimes I have a hard time following directions. I wonder how the platinum version is since the Gold is awesome probably your one stop app for everything having to do with being a truck driver. My personal thanks to the creators of this app. Keep up the updates and good work.

This app costed me a lot of money. When I got this app, I use to get trips that were maybe 20-50 miles over the miles that I would be getting paid. I was okay with that. But now, I get to use this app, and ALL of my trips are hundreds of miles over the amount of miles that I’m getting paid. It happens when I use the truck routing settings. No matter how many times I mess around with those settings, I can never get this app to give me a route that isn’t 200+ miles more than what I’m getting paid. The routes just look lazy and lousy. I get that the app can try to get you out of going through routes without construction, but when it costs us a lot of money to go through some of those routes, it’s not worth it. I’m going to keep using this app until I can afford a garmin GPS. I’m very disappointed, I really liked this app when I got it. I may still use it to find truck stops, but I won’t be paying for a membership anymore.

Stupid video ads. This app was great until they added these ridiculous video ads that won’t let you do anything in the app until you watch them. How am I supposed to see if parking is available if you want me to watch an stupid ad while I’m driving a 80,000 lbs semi. This is dangerous and idiotic, make your money another way that’s not dangerous and illegal. As you can see from below that this company doesn’t care about the safety of the people driving on the highways and think that money over public safety is more important. There response was just another ad to updating to there premium services, which I’m not upset about that part but how there trying to get you to do so is just so unsafe. Just shows you that this company doesn’t care about anything but there bottom line. What a shameful way of doing business

More reporting options. My biggest complaint with this app is the fact that we have three reporting options “lots” “some” and “none”. We need to have some more options in there. Generally “lots” is exactly how it sounds. But then “some” covers the entire spectrum from less than “lots” to one remaining spot. You never know what “some” means and if that’s an hour old you’re “shooting in the dark” so to speak. I’d like to see “lots” and “some” be the top two and then something like “low” and “few” with few having a designation for less than maybe 3 or 4 spots? And then of course “none”/“full” The other issues are minor, but still need to be addressed. There are a lot of truck stops where reviews say that the place doesn’t exist or it’s only a fuel stop. There needs to be an easier way to get non-truck friendly places removed. And it would be nice to have an emblem designating fuel only. There also needs to be a way to flag reviews for removal that ask for parking updates, leave parking updates, ask for fuel prices, or leave fuel prices. They aren’t helpful and flood out real reviews. Sometimes, people will vote a one star just because they want parking updates. And that’s not right.

Here’s a list of issues with Trucker Path. 1. Gold members still get ads on daily basis 2. Inacurate fuel prices (drivers should be able to update fuel prices is in our best interest and we do it anyway using the Review system) We also need DEF prices 3. Inacurate navigation routes as “Gold Member” 4. When you leave the app running in the background it resets it self and when you go check for another destination you have to enter all the information over and over againg 5. It wont find the address that you looking for so I have to settle for entering city and state that I’m heading to 6. The app wants a Status Update doesn’t matter if you left an update a second ago or if your typing a review the app constantly wants a status update this fiture needs to be turn off truckers will update when they can 7. App wants status update while driving pass a weight station this is illegal and dangerous for does that don’t have a passanger or co-driver 8. I paid Gold membership to not have ads and to use the Navigation feature witch is useless 9. I’m still waiting on my full refund 10. Unable to post a review if I add a picture I will update my review as soon as I see improvements

It’s good for finding places to park, not much else. It’ll point you to truck stops and rest areas, but the parking availability notifications are at the will of whatever driver feels like updating them at any given time. They still don’t have a better system than “many” “some” and “full” for available spaces. “Some” spots means very different things at a 10 space gas station versus a 300 space truck stop. Try to write a review and their Thought Police read it before they allow it to be posted. If they find anything objectionable, instead of censoring or just rejecting the post altogether, they’ll edit it as they please to remove whatever words they deem objectionable and post it as is, even if it no longer makes sense. No way I’m going to pay $100 a year for a few extra features

Avoid Trucker Path. I’ve used TP for years. But now, current version is automatically upgraded with a Congratulations notice that you’ve been chosen to use the new beta version. You cannot override the upgrade. The only way to revert back is to delete the app and reinstall. I’ve done that dozens of times but within 24 hours the user is forced to use the beta version. The user is given an option to reach out to support to revert back. ALL requests go unanswered. Why not use the beta version? It is full of errors and problems and not as effective as non-beta release. The route path line disappears every time a scale or truck stop status pop up appears. There is no way to view details of route options. Truck stops and parking isn’t accurate. Many options previously available are only available with paid subscription. Why pay if support is non-responsive, the app is riddled with flaws, in inaccurate information?

Pretty good app , some glitches. For the most part it is a good app. I’ve been using it for 3 months now. I’m OTR and it has tried to send me down dead end roads a couple occasions. The “Quit Navigation” does not usually work but they “Cancel” always works. And sometimes the app freezes the miles and up coming exits won’t show, but still shows the vehicle moving on the route. You have to back out completely and enter address back in for it to fix itself. When the miles freeze it can cause you to miss your exits. If they were to fix these minor issues the app would be amazing. It would also be great if you could search along the route anything, not just the options shown below.

Freezes constantly. When it’s functioning, Trucker Path is a great app, however, it constantly freezes. The distance and time to a destination will not update or refresh, and voice navigation will stop working. You must close and restart the app in between destinations or you’ll find yourself doing so while driving. This may cause you to miss turns and exits which then cause you drive more mile and burn more fuel. It does a good job keeping you on truck routes and avoiding low bridges but if you’re familiar with Google Maps, this app is not as stable. I submitted a ticket for this issue over a year ago. Then I cancelled my subscription because I went to work for a company that provided truck GPS. Now I’m an owner operator and I have to provide my own GPS so I gave Trucker Path another try. The same issue is still present. There’s also another review complaining of this same issue. The developers replied that this shouldn’t happen but it does. I hope they listen to us and look into it. Also, it’s unsafe that it ask for feedback every time I pass by a weigh station, rest area or truck stop. I’m driving. I can’t read messages or use my phone while I’m driving. There should be an option to disable asking for feedback, at least while in motion. I’d like to continue using Trucker Path but if the freezing isn’t corrected I’ll have to look into other options.

Fuel prices keep disappearing!. For the most part, I absolutely love this app. But because I pay for my own fuel, I make an appoint to plan ahead to get best prices. I can’t get the best prices with the majority of my truckstops that are on the map don’t show the prices. I have put prices on these places on the way through they’re not there when I come back. If they don’t get updated by other drivers, I totally get it. But why would it still lose the price that I had put on there and added myself?! I can’t plan my trip without fuel prices very well, and without that ability,the rest of it can possibly be found through a different app… I guess I will go looking

Update was a down grade. I use this app everyday and it was outstanding 5stars before the last update. Now routing function is almost unusable. Directions option is no longer available while in routing. You have to go back out of your route and into search mode to get the directions icon to reappear. Then once you get it to send directions to google maps anytime you come back into the app the screen zooms out and your stuck trying to find your stop again. Not to mention when the route zooms out the screen is so jammed with the new “bold” icons you can’t hardly see where you are on the route. I called tech support to see if I was doing something wrong and his answer was you need the subscription to get that feature back. Now I’m paying for the app and routing still doesn’t have an option for directions. I’m really looking forward to the next update to hopefully erase the last update so this can go back to a 5 star app.

What are you doing to this app!!. This app was better then perfect yes it needed a few tweaks but this new bs you updated with “route planning” is garbage. When I click direction I should be able to snap right to my navigation and you can’t do that anymore there is also no where to copy the address and paste it in my navigation. You took a great feature and ruined it with your “route planning” that doesn’t even have turn by turn direction or an option to start the trip and it snap to navigation. I am a premium member of this app and pay monthly to support the great work you have done in the past but I will go to the free version and no longer support this app until this is fixed. No sweat off my back I have a 8 pro rm that works just as good finding truck stops. The only difference is I don’t see a parking update. Please fix and I will give 5 stars but until then 1 star

I’m not making an account!. You might have your reasons but I’m sure they don’t stand up to my opinion! I am not making an account and the fact that I can’t post reviews as a result just really hurts the community. I think you should undo that part of these new updates. That is not the trucker path I know and love and I will not comply! As far as the rest of the stuff the app is getting quite good! Distances are very accurate and now count down the miles to a selected POI instead of having to tap for an update! One little bug I still see is when I have a selected POI and I pass a weigh station and the app asks if it’s open or closed I tap the appropriate response (ex. Closed) then now my POI will show a red “closed” status instead of parking criteria. This requires the user to tap off and back on the POI. Not as big a deal as needing an account to post a review but it has been ongoing for a long time.

Must Have. There is no secret that this app is a must have for new and old timers alike. Offers truck routing, you can check where all the truck parking is, and availability as well as what weight stations are open and diesel prices and much more. Very good app it has helped me a lot. Use it daily. My only suggestion to the developer is to add another tab when you click on a icon on the map (such as a truck stop, parking, weight station etc) after reviews. They should add like a question tab or something like that. On the reviews people are always reviewing places 1 or 5 stars just to ask “can anyone update the parking?” Without actually checking the place out leading to an unfair review. That extra tab should be organized by date and time for the question and then have a reply section under it so someone can answer the questions instead of leaving a random unfair rating.

Causes phone problems. I have been using this app for years. it always seemed great except for the navigation took me to places a big truck should never be. I got an iphone ten when it came out and had major problems and had my phone exchanged under warranty four times. the back got very hot just below the camera and the screen flashed from light to dark and more. so I got an iphone 12 pro max and had the same problems. I had my iphone 12 exchanged once so far. I just recently noticed the only time my phone gets hot and the screen flashes light to dark is when I use this app. also siri opens itself and so does my camera. I deleted the app and haven’t had any of these issues since. I tried to contact the developer in the app but couldn’t find a link. Apple should investigate this because they had to give me 5 new iphones because of this app.

Interstate mile markers?. Add a window in the corner of the map to indicate my current location by mile marker and I'll give you 6 stars. I have this app loaded and running full time in my truck using an old cell phone that is hotspot connected to my current cell phone. It's set to show all the Love's and Pilot fuel stops, along with all the weigh stations. It's nearly perfect...if only it identified my location by mile marker so that I know in a second where the condition of interest is in order to better communicate the news to my fellow drivers over the CB radio, and to more accurately communicate my own breakdown location to my fleet manager.

Love this app, but…. This isn’t a complaint about the app but the drivers who abuse it for no apparent reason. Specifically, the parking availability function. Users sometimes mark lots full when they clearly aren’t. I’m at the Pilot in Clear Lake IA and a couple of idiots marked the lot full at 5:00pm. It’s currently 6:18pm at the time of this post and there’s plenty of spots left. I’ve seen this happen many times at other truck stops regardless of them being a Pilot/Flying J, Love’s, TA, etc. I can’t think of any way the developers can fix this issue, but for anyone reading this review, don’t take this part of the app as gospel. I’m glad it’s there, but don’t put too much trust in this specific part.

Might be good, I’ll never know, based on my experience, seems unlikely.. I attempted to use the app under the 7 day free trial, after which I was immediately charged the full month price. Pretty lame, but forgivable, IF I then had access to the “premium” features that I paid for, I didn’t. I tried restarting the app, I tried the restore purchase button, nothing, and funny enough if I clicked the premium button, it would say “already purchased”. $30 a month for an app is monstrously spendy, which there can be no justification for, if the app can’t even tell that you’ve paid for it. Currently submitting a refund request through apple, I’ll see what happens. Super frustrating experience, which I doubt the app is worth when compared to the price, and based on how the most basic aspect of an app (you pay for a service and then you receive it) doesn’t work, I would not be surprised to learn no other aspects of the app work either

Becoming worse with each update. The app is becoming more and more cumbersome to use with each update. They’re requiring more button presses, spamming more pop-ups and asking for more information with each update. It used to be 3 button clicks clicks to navigate plus typing in the address. Now it’s 5 plus you have to move a pin to your starting location. And then you have to stop and relaunch the trip because it won’t start until after you drive exactly over the pin. Which rarely happens because it’s usually on some side road or at the entrance to a place not the exit etc. After my sub ends I am moving on from this app to something else. It’s not worth paying for any more. And that’s not discussing the poor navigation. Now I can’t even control the screen with trucker’s trash open. It just moves back to where it wants to go as soon as I stop panning. Worthless trash app.

Updated review/issue resolved. To review any establishment, weigh station, etc. you must now choose a star for the place you are reviewing to allow you to post. They changed that in an update but just glad to be able to review. I just wish they would somehow let all users know it because the reviews have definitely dropped off unfortunately. Why would I pay when people can no longer review places?! Reviews are getting scarce since the update. Since the update if you don’t pay for the premium version you can update weigh stations as open or closed but can no longer comment in the reviews if they are inspecting or other to notify other drivers. This means meant less reviews. Even if I decide to upgrade to the premium so that I can review them I still won’t be getting the same feedback as people that would normally review of inspecting or other things are going on can no longer do so if they are not paying for the premium service. This apples to restaurants, rest areas, parking etc. REVIEWS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE FREE OR PAID THAT HAS THIS APP. That assures the premium subscribers are getting their money’s worth out of it. Very disappointed in the change. There are many ways to benefit than taking review privileges away.

Last update didn’t work. Man I don’t know what’s up with this app. It takes my money but nothing improves. The latest update was talking about correcting performance issues and bugs but this thing still has problems. I don’t think they fix anything. It’s just a way of keeping your money by pretending to fix stuff. I’ve had some of the issues that others have mentioned such as the route not updating and it freezing. Also what’s the deal with adding a stop to the current route and the thing puts in you current location. I wish I could upload a photo and then I will show what I’m talking about. As much money that keeps getting poorer into this app it needs to be much better thank what it is.

New is not always good. Please, bring the old view back! The new view that appears when we click on the truck stop on the map is not good and adding extra steps to see information is bad. Developers has to understand that just because something looks better is not actually always better. The reason why is that 99.9% of us is using the app while driving (yes, I know, we shouldn’t do this, but we do and we will keep doing it) to search for stops and see updates on parking/weigh stations and we don’t really want to have extra steps to see something what we could have done without even looking at the screen before. Overall, this is a great app for everything you need in trucking. Keep up with great work and as soon as you bring the old view back I’ll update this to 5 stars. Please, listen to your users.

Not good recently. The latest update has made this app almost unuseable. I had to delete it off of my phone to get out of a trip. It was a nice app before. I have reloaded it after deleting the subscription part of it. Going to try it again to see if it is still worth the space on my phone. Ok I tried it, not useful for trips. When it gives directions, linked to my truck speakers, it comes through like someone using a bullhorn in my cab. Since there is no way to quiet it, it will only be used for finding truck stops addresses which I can then put into google maps which I can at least turn the volume down. I also listen to books so if I adjust the phone volume to stop the painful horrific noise from the directions, I can’t hear the book when it comes on. Also it is very difficult to stop a trip until you complete it, which is why I had to delete it off my phone in the first place. I have used this app for 10 years or so, up until the last update, it was my favorite-NOT NOW!!!!

Not liking the new update!. Okay so I absolutely love this app!! I use it every single day throughout the day. But one of the reasons I use it is to see if I want to eat in the truck or at a truck stop or restaurant somewhere. Like I have my favorites around the country and I’ll sometimes plan to stop at certain places. Well months ago, there was an update that made it harder to tell which restaurant was actually at the truck stop. And now with the new update, you can’t see what restaurant is at the truck stop at all!! It doesn’t even show it on the restaurants list!! I could honestly care less most days about what’s around. But I do want to know what is at the actual truck stop! Please fix this! Also, where it says pet friendly, laundry, gym, etc.... You should add tabs for like vape shop, barber shop, and tattoo and piercing shop! There are some truck stops that have those and it would be cool to know which ones by looking at the app!

Could be great. I don’t mind paying a premium for a useful app. I still recommend using this app but there are too many bugs. I really like this app but … 1. Normally I can trip plan quickly with my breaks. I just deleted and redownloaded the app because my HOS function was being buggy again. Now it’s worse. It shows where my HOS warning are but when I click on them I can’t choose if it’s a 30 min or a 10 h break. 2. Ever so often the navigation with get stuck showing the next turn. So when I look down and see my next turn is 100 miles away instead of the next exit it is very annoying. 3. The is no overview of the entire trip without exiting navigation. A simple function that should be added. 4. There is not option to search by gps coordinates. A necessary function. 5. P&G 100 Mars Rd Wilmer TX. This app can’t find it after this update. What’s wrong with the map data. 6. After deleting app and login all previous setting are lost. ….to be continued. Also… No Live support for premium users? Price should be lower.

Reserved or Free parking?. Enjoyed using this app so far. One feature that distinguishes between reserved and free parking would be helpful. Some truck stops have there status updated to “full” when there’s plenty of reserved parking available. I have to check that truck stops app to see if there are any reserved parking spots left. Not a big deal, just thought I’d share this idea with TruckerPath. Instead of updating parking status with “many, some, or full,” why not include a “many, some, full, and reserve available.” Or “reserve is full,” and reserve is available” etc. Hope this helps! :) #JESUS #USArunsOnwheels

The new gps is pretty dang good. Knocking off a star for the price, 300 a year or 30 a month is a little steep since I can go buy a truck gps for that price and have it for 5 plus years. I opted in for the monthly due to only needing it for a short amount of time while learning my new route. It’s pretty spot on, I’ve used it for almost a month now and it’s only messed up twice, once telling me to turn thru a business parking lot and calling it a road name, 2nd time it tried to send me on a no truck road, but all in all it takes me on good solid routes, I’d recommend for short term use just being that it’s so expensive and I’m a cheap a**, just verify your route

Annoying bug(s). First, let me point out I use the HELL out of this app. I love it. But Recently, I’ve noticed the distance to a given stop along a selected route is incorrect. At least as far as driving is concerned. The total route distance, when I chose it, is correct. And it shows me where I am, accurately enough. But.. for example: I’m currently in Cabazon, CA. I route to Denver. Overall distance is correct, but distance to Gallup, NM ( about the halfway point on this route) is about 100 miles short. ( 470 as opposed to the more accurate 570- along the same route. I’m comparing with other mapping software and my venerable Rand Mac) It’s not a consistent distance. After some experimentation over the past week, I suspect the distance is “great circle “, or, at least, the shortest distance between two GPS coordinates. And, yes, I’ve been updating the app. I’ve power-cycled the phone. I’ve shut down the app and restarted from scratch. Even uninstalled it. The only other issue is: I can find no way to Send y’all feedback from within the app itself. But that might be me

Outstanding App. Awesome app. It was the best purchase that I could have made before making a run across Canada. The app made it easy to plan my fuel and rest stops. It gave me plenty of advance notice of exits and turns. Not only did the screen indicate with arrows which lanes to take but it also provided an image of what your exit would look like. Which even made travel through Montreal easy, believe it or not👍

Speed limit. Doesn't show speed limit above 90kmh. If the speed limit on particular road is 110 or 120 km/h it shows 90 km/h every time. Need to match with acctual speed limits on road.

ADS. You expect us to watch ads while we’re driving?! I used to love this app. This is absolute trash now. Can’t even view one thing without being blocked out unless you watch a 30 second ad. How dare you do this to the truckers who are holding this nation together during this pandemic

Can't handle french street name and more.... SHOULD NOT BE SOLD IN QUÉBEC If you search for street with accent (à,â,é,è,ê,ë... and so on) it shows you codes in the names and most of the time if you lucky to recognize it in the suggested name it may remove the numerical and you will be send At the wrong place, so I had to use GOOGLE MAPS to confirm each destinations. It doesn't consider to get you on the right side of the street, like on a boulevard that a median strip and you find yourself stuck with a U-turn or a detour. While driving, you get pop-up asking things... Yo! I'm driving and you should help me instead. Last part, I sign up to try a month for $8 or so... I have a bill got a year!!! That must be a pop-up asking me to sign for a year when I was driving. One last point, sometimes you show a second view for highways exits, some time not. Since your map system is not accurate, I mist many exits.

Charge 225$. Don't download this apps unless u are ready!!! I was lured to download this free to try apps downloaded it and check how it works. So after downloading it they will ask a lot of information before u can try it And thats what i did and make the story short i play a bit and i forget after Its no use to me so i forget it. After 2 1/2 month i notice my mastercard Has a charge of 225$ i was shock So i chat with the truckers path and they notice that i was charge 225$ and told me they cant do anything, i have to call apple So i did that . Will Not Renew. Too many nag screens asking for reviews. The non existent weight scales nags cause me to make a wrong turn on a turn pike heading towards the boarder when low on hours. Would never use again for active navigation. Garmin Truck GPS is the better way to go for navigation. The upside is the boarder officer took mercy on me when I explained how this app failed and I didn’t get a fine and he cleared me with 3 minutes to spare. I wouldn’t use it for live navigation which is the only use I have for it.

Subscription. Garbage app stealing money even if you have subscription they won’t show you route until you get expensive plan. DONT SUBSCRIBE

Handy tool that could be much better. I used Trucker Path for about a week and I have a mixed review. I guess I’ll start with the interface. It’s not the worst, though it can be a little confusing, though once you you learn where everything is it gets better. My main concern is the glitches. I’ve had to close the app a few times while driving because the directions froze. Luckily the blue line still worked. These glitches tend to happen when you go off route and the app has reroute. Another concern is there app has out dated information. It wouldn’t route me down a street I know I could take because it was reporting a low bridge. The low bridge had been replaced with a higher bridge years ago. The biggest annoyance is the prompts for user input for things like parking availability and weigh stations. I turned them off, but they still popped up. Worst of all, the app was bugging me for weigh stations that done even exist. The prompts themselves are a problem seeing that I’m driving a 80 foot, 80,000 lb truck, I should be watching the road not answering multiple questions about a non existent weight station. When you don’t answer the prompts they try to guilt trip you. Over all I’m keeping the subscription as a way of checking my route for low bridges and such, but I won’t be using it as an actual GPS. Once I learn my routes I’ll be canceling my subscription.

No truck route. It don’t show you the restriction on the road and will take you through it . Got my self 1500$ ticket because I trusted this waste of money app . Better invest in GARMIN 🙏🏻

Ads ads ads. This app went from fantastic, to an ad ridden, impossible to use pile of garbage. 15 different ad “buttons” that instantly take you out of the app if you press anywhere close to them. Go back, please. You had it right originally. Tell us if the scales open or not... not 25 other things we don’t need you for. You did one thing well, then screwed it up.

Not at all accurate. It’s constantly sending me way out of the way of the destination creating far longer routes than required when I know for a fact I’m on a truck route and and the fastest route. The remainder of the time the addresses are off by several blocks or not even close. I’m always having to check google to ensure I am where I am supposed to be. I don’t recommend this app for use in Canada. Beyond that, I wanted a monthly subscription however these fraudsters charged me for a full year and it appears they won’t refund it. Stay away from this app!!

U-turns. Hi, Please fix the U-turns in navigational part of the app. And sometimes the heading direction on the top of the screen freezes. But overall is a nice try to use it instead of the GPS. Please change the additional stops for that diamond subscription. Otherwise I would prefer to buy a GPS and unsubscribe.

Scam. Trying to get my money back after activating my “7 day free trial” I was instantly charged $27.99 and hoping to get my money back. What a joke of an app and absolute scam. How was I charged for activating a “free trial”?! Not free at all.

Works great. I love the app I used the 7 day trial Diamond membership and was impressed. Only thing it needs is apple carplay compatibility so I don't need a seperate tablet in my truck. Also for some reason "accents" on words are not able to be displayed and in Quebec every thing has "accents".

Can I give 0 stars ?It was on the app for free trial for 7 days and then it will be charged.However upon clicking free trial I was directly charged from my credit card and I also involved Apple they said they are unable to do anything it was charged by trucker path . best gonna get. i dont like all the editing, censorship on weigh station reviews; i don't care about hotels ; restaurants; truck stops, parking, none of it; i ise the app for knowing information about weigh stations and being able to talk to other drivers on the reviews about the cops are doing at the weigh station and around them; my messages get erased ; and other people messages on reviews on weigh stations get erased as well

Failing app. I’ve used this app for a better part of 15 years and it is now failing . Only allowing an average 6 seconds and then resetting itself , but when I try to use it after the first 6 seconds it defaults back to like a restart and does not let you finish a search it is very frustrating so I may just have to delete it . It’s too bad there is not another like it or maybe I have just not found it yet because I used this one religiously. But I’ll keep looking….

TeamTrucker🚛. This app is one of the best Trucker GPS app for iPhone or iPad on the Apple Store from Weights Station status to Truck parking from truck speed limits to accurate ETA this app is very useful my only concern is that every time I use the app on my iPad for a long period of time the app crash and all of the sudden the app disappears from the screen and I have to pull over to the side or shoulder lane of the road to look for the app and put it back on the screen. But other than that this app is the best 5 stars well earned.

Completely useless after last update. App was perfect, now it doesn’t even work on my iPad in landscape mode. Landscape mode with all info on the sidebar was perfect, and now you have to click a few times and scroll down. When before you could pull up all info with one click and still see the map. And I can’t run my iPad in portrait mode since other apps like my ELD uses landscape mode. I will be canceling my premium membership! Oh well good run for couple years but like other reviewers said no need to reinvent the wheel!

Going down hill with new updates. I’ve used trucker path for years even paying the premium for their navigation options but lately the app has been glitching to the point of not being usable. It started with it saying an address no longer exists rather than navigating me to where I need to be, then giving error codes finding routes in the east coast to now force closing itself mid navigation and refusing to open. I’ve emailed them about this and was given a generic try this menu of restart the phone, uninstall and log back in rather than actually fixing the issue when in the email I stated that all that has been done. The little truck icon is cute but we need updates for function not cosmetics.

Fees for what’s free in paper form. This app has gone from free to ads blocking the the screen. And is time consuming when in a hurry. The ads need to not obscure the screen or inhibit the user from doing what we do. Also, most all features are already available in paper book for less then this app. Paper book of all the truck stops and number of spots and even addresses are only a couple bucks. With no ads. So basically this app is only good for communicating to other drivers about parking availability... glad the makers of this app found a way to make money twice over by the ads and drivers... shame. Use to be in it for the driver. Funny how money changes you. And routing? That’s a joke. Most drivers already have a gps. That’s not a selling point.

Needs improvements for New York City and New Jersey. Because sometimes the map is taking me to very tight roads one time I got stuck because the gps took me to a very tight residential street in New York City not only one time 2 times that’s why I give 4 stars because those days was like a nightmare to make the turn but I waited till the people left the place to make the turn please fix that issue because is hard to get stuck let me say where the gps is failing Brooklyn NY Manhattan NY queens NY new Rochelle NY New Brunswick NJ please fix those routes it evades low bridges but is not evading the smaller streets thanks after you guys fix it I will get the yearly edition

Cool app. Why 4 not 5 the idea of ​​the application is cool, but ... the gps signal disappears often and at the most inopportune moment. a lot of hangs and bugs. shows when you go rest area 22 miles, but there is 11 miles along the way, why is that? Fuel Plan bug. Just downloaded and unlocked the most expensive Platinum version. When I try editing the Fuel Plan screen, I'm unable to cave changes because when I make my edits and tap "Get Fuel Plan" an error pops up saying "Minimum Fill Purchase can not be less than 26" -- what is the Fill Purchase? Do you mean Fuel Purchase? Also, it's already set to 30 which is greater than 26. You've got a bug. Also it would be great if you save save multiple trip plans. It seems like you can only have one trip plan going at once, but I'd prefer to be able to plan multiple trips and then select one to navigate when ready to go.

Same as everyone else. Was a great app before they sold out for profit. I would be willing to pay a one-time fee for the app, but not a monthly subscription. Outrageous. Only useful now for parking spots in areas unknown. Take parking updates at your own risk and look at history to see trend. But I’m sure before long, people will ruin this and won’t be as accurate. Please re-evaluate the recent update and get rid of subscription (besides maybe for gps?). Offer a one time charge for the app for ad free and parking prediction of like maybe $5 and you’ll have a lot more happy users. I’m willing to help support an app/developer for good products but as is, this app will never be worth what their asking and wasn’t before they made this hard push for profit. It’s sad. You ruined a good thing.

Pretty good app. For the most part this app is really awesome. I sometimes have to fight it because it doesn’t want you to runt HWY71 out of Texarkana to Kansas City. It will try to route you to Little Rock then back to 540 or over to Oklahoma and up. Once in a heat while it freezes up at a not great time and has tried to put me on a couple non truck roads. But if people remember it is a tool and you still have to have some common since it is worth the money!

GPS needs work. i have been using this for a wile now and it’s very helpful in every aspect except the gps in my opinion. the gps has taken me way longer routes or has rerouted me to a random spot and made me track 30 - 1 hour in the wrong direction. using and trusting the gps on its own in my opinion is a gamble. it will make a 3 hour trip a 5- 6 hour trip because of its poor routing system. good for those who like to stay in the interstate the whole time tho. not good for people like me who need the fastest and shortest route i can take. need to have a scale dodging option too.

A must have!. Did my first trip using a trucking GPS and my phone/this app. Having info on all of the truck stops, was worth its weight in gold! You also have to look at some of the reviews with common sense. When I would take a direction I wanted to go, instead of what my GPS told me, Trucker Path almost always knew where I was trying to go and adjusted. My other GPS, not so much. There are just so many features in Trucker Path! Thank you Trucker path for making my first trip go smoothly!

Not worth it! AVOID IT!. Been using this gos for 3 years now! Everything was good in beginning! But then gps losing signal! Not being able to find the address! Or when you press start navigation, the screen turning full white and nothing happening! While you driving it can say REROUTING ANY SECOND and freeze and stop working completely! The developers just dont care about this app anymore! I will be definitelydoing a charge back! WILL NOT PAY $300 package and not be able to comfortably use this gps! RIDICULOUS!! Also this gps is dangerous for newbies necause this gps will avoid interstates and take you through US routes where sometimes trucks not allowed!! And yes my settings are set right!

Need a trial before purchase. I think if your confident in your product you should offer at least a 7 to 14 days free trial. Some of the reviews are a bit concerning and prefer not to throw away $10 to $100 if I don't like it. Things I’d like to see for the money aside from what you already offer are basic features that Google maps offers for free. -Satellite view so at certain areas and delivery spots I can see what’s around me on the map and can discern the truck entrance at locations before I arrived. Not all entrance are in front of the building at the precise address. -Live Traffic updates. Crucial alerts of accidents ahead and suggestions on alternate routes.

Solid. The app runs solidly. Make no mistake this is the best Truck GPS/Trucker app available to truckers. The app’s interface is laid out in clear and easy to understand way, there is ability to set up fuel routes, and so much more. The voice doesn’t speak in complete sentences. For example, the app will consistently say (across all my devices) something to the affect of: “Take exit 9 towards, and then keep right”. So if your not glancing at the screen constantly you you won’t know what “towards” means or is. So pay attention. Other than that the app runs pretty good.

Best app i have found with one issue. By far the best app i have found for truckers. The only issue i really have with it is the annoying pop ups wanting you to give updates on parking and weigh stations. One it blocks my navigation when it does this, and two it pops up even when you are just driving by and not actually going into said location. Many times it has popped up when i am trying to search for something and makes me fill out a false report. Totally frustrating! Please fix that one issue and i think you will have a darn near perfect app.

To the developers. I strongly recommend driving across the country and testing the app, it has flaws and for such a good, pricy and useful app to act up in the way in does is not cool, try deviating from your rout and it will struggle rerouting you even if you drive for 20 miles and you’re already where you need to be it will keep telling you to make a u turn even if a u turn isn’t possible for a truck. Once in a while it has hallucinations wrong address appears, multiple stops is weird I’ll put in the address to Tennessee for example it will route to a ups warehouse In Illinois

I use this all the time. It was fairly easy to use until the recent changes. Now it no longer rotates when I turn my phone sideways to place it in the window mount. In busy areas where there were multiple icons, I used to be able to tap on the cluster until the one I wanted was displayed. Now it picks one, and if you want to select something different, you have to zoom in a huge amount to get the other one distant before it will switch. Half of the options no longer have directions (so I can plug it into my iPhone gps). I’m hoping that these features will find their way back

You just killed yourselves!. As a trucker driver, I use this app everyday! The ADs never bothered me, as you gotta get paid and I do not think you just add locations for free do you? The greatest thing was the in-App map to google map and go! In your latest update, you now want memberships? Pay for premium memberships? Pay to lose the ADs? Sign up to leave a review? And now the Dead stick map where you can not even copy/paste an address from it to google maps? I backed up my phone and I will try to re-Install the old app, because if I can’t... this app is of no use to me as there are others that are more trucker friendly and not GREEDY! Please note... this would have been a 5 Star Rating but the changes (for me, 18 years driving) killed it...good luck.

Last update has gone too far. With the latest update, the adds and pop ups make the app useless. While driving and opening the app to see where the next truck stop is you get two splash screens that you have to click out of then when tapping on a truck stop to see exit, number of parking spaces more pop ups that you have to close out of the you have tap again. All this while driving. I subscribed to the app not long ago, but found that what you got for the money was not worth the price. The truck routing was a joke. You could only get routes to a truck stop and not an address. I always have use this app in the past for all my planning but now it’s useless. Sorry guys, but you’ve ruined a great app.

Horrible timing. Trucker Path, in case you haven’t heard, there’s a virus going around called Covid-19. It is devastating lives. It is also devastating the economy. Will I be driving next year? Next month? Tomorrow? Who knows. While I certainly understand the desire for revenue, your timing is horrible. Don’t get me wrong, you’ve got a good product. But, 1) the price point is much too high, 2) forcing a user to watch a 20-30 second ad to interact with the app every time and in any meaningful way goes waaaaaay beyond “inconvenience”, and 3) asking for revenue during uncertain/hard times _really_makes_you_look_bad_. The recent comments aren’t all just lamenting that the free ride is over. They’re a large flashing warning sign indicating problems. You may need to adjust your strategy. Or, not. It’s your company. Do as you will.

Don’t waste money on subscription. I gave this app a chance for two months of $30 a month subscription, if it’s free or few bucks a month it would be worth but it doesn’t provide no benefits more then apple maps or google maps, it still glitches and asking you to do u turn or takes you around on some weird route, can’t really trust it with truck restricted roads or scales neither, it’s just waste of money. I gave it two stars because overall layout and look is really good but navigation vise, free gps is actually more accurate and offers instant updates about road hazards, speed check etc

Great App for the Professional OTR Driver. Great app for keeping up with all that’s important to Trucking as a professional. The mapping available is very very good, especially for finding correct locations and the truck entrances, I find they are nearly 97% accurate. That’s a lot less headaches with all drivers are already responsible for. Customer service and support are awesome also, and in there days business climate that means a Lot, I absolutely hate getting stuck in eternal voice mail loops and automated phone loops.

SAFETY FIRST!!!. This app is becoming a safety hazard, a driving distraction. I understand you need to make money and for us free users, this means ads. However, I don’t think having me watch 3 video ads while driving just so I can check the parking status or exit number of a truckstop makes for a trucking safety conscious app. Before you tell us we’re not suppose Ltd to use it while driving, save that bull crap. There’s no chance we are going to pull over and update the status of a scale. None chance. The app is designed to be easy to use while driving. Easy pop ups and easy updates UNLESS you’re too cheap to pay for the app. Don’t want us free users, good luck keeping the paid users without us all doing updates.

Not so perfect anymore. This app did get 5 stars from me and my husband but not anymore. The thing about this app that made it perfect was it was all free. All of a sudden now to get truck route you have to pay for it. When I put in his location then his destination it now says car route not optimized for trucks. So I made and account and tried again after putting in all his truck information it says I have to pay for the truck route. WTH I still use this app and so does he for the truck stops weigh stations and etc. but I have to use my google map app mostly for directions. It’s aggravating to flip back and forth between the two when helping him plan his route. PLEASE PUT TRUCK PATH BACK TO FREE.

Good, but needs some troubleshooting. There’s been a couple instances when I glitched out the app trying to change a route in progress. It tried to reroute me about 1200 miles north of the address I was typing in to the destination. I was able to fix the issue but if I were any less tech savvy it might have been the end of me using the app. The rest of the app has served me well. It does well when there’s spotty cell service, and the truck stop finding function has been a lifesaver for my HOS. IMO it’s been a worthy expense to supplement the QUALCOMM installed in my truck. Hope this helps.

Developer issues. So I’ve had Trucker Path for the past 2 years and although new changes are constantly being implemented for the better, I have not gotten past this 1 glitch that makes the app frustrating to use, and there isn’t a feedback line or customer service thread to help resolve the issue. For the past 4 months whenever the app closes, the trip plan/ routing address will reset, causing your trip stops and the entire route itself to be reset to the point I need to start all over again. Outside of that MAJOR issue I’m sure experiencing, the app isn’t bad. I just wish someone would correct this glitch.

Offline isn't true offline. Still needs data.. I have a paid subscription from another truck navigation app. Have had it for 3 years. I decided to give TruckerPath a try to see how it performs. For the most part it does relatively well. Still needs some improvements. However, when it came down to testing the offline mode, this is where it failed me. I was told by support, it still needs data to operate. It's not offline if I still need data for it to work. So you download the maps, wasted my data downloading it. Then, when you travel into a dead zone, you need data to use your offline maps. I really wished it would have worked out. I would even subscribe back to TruckerPath if offline truly worked in offline.

Seriously?. I’ve been a faithful and consistent user and advocate of Trucker Path since before this version existed when the original app was still available back it 2013. And now this once simple and perfect map app looks like those trash slot machine gambling games. Seriously? What once was a true free app that allowed truckers to customize for our needs is now completely unusable without a monthly fee! This is a travesty. Whoever made the decision to sellout and destroy Trucker Path has no shame. Shame on you and everything you’ve done to my most trusted and used tool. I cannot in good faith EVER refer Truck Path if this is what we will have. After seven years as a faithful promoter of THE ONLY DECENT APP FROM COMMERCIAL DRIVERS I am more than guaranteed to delete this the first chance I have. Shame on you.

Keeps losing functionality with every update. Every time they update this app they take away a core function. First it was the routing button which enabled you to set your stops and now it’s the places button which allows you to select or deselect icons. Instead they’ve replaced it with a over complicated way of searching icons but no way to deselect them. And it covers up part of the map with no way to permanently hide it. If you clear the screen it just comes back after a few seconds .

Still the best truck Navigating App. I appreciate the way that Trucker Path continues to evolve this app. It’s pretty easy to navigate and I have minor issues, by far, in comparison to other navigations for trucks. I have avoided some pretty hectic situations just watching the map. My student has also been introduced to the wonders that are Trucker Path. He upgraded to the paid version right away. I encourage every truck driver I know to make sure they at least have the free version. Thank you guys for keeping us, to the best of your technological abilities, safe on the roads.

So many bugs.. Ever since the last update, there are so many bugs. I go to my address book and click on the location I’m going to it sends me to a different location. I have to cancel route and retry it like four different times for it to actually put me on the right location. The times are so wonky now a run that usually takes me 10 hours now it takes me 14 hours? (Yes I checked no wrecks or traffic. ) I paid for off-line maps, but can’t find the route because I don’t have any service? So what’s the point of me paying for off-line maps? And now it crashes nonstop won’t even stay open for 20 seconds. I have restarted my phone I have signed out and signed back in. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and signed back in working.

Worst and worst. I was using this app from years and last time is getting worst and worst. On the beginning it was simple and easy to work app and this I loved. A few months ago after updating app its starts with adds and getting complicated. I need simple app while driving works with one touch finger. I should press once to know what I need to know but not switching pages. And now another update kill everything ! This app works only in vertical .... My iPod is mounted to dashboard horizontal .... And one more problem with this app got older people who using glasses ....When you want to see small numbers on map like highway number and you scroll to get bigger view ,map is getting bigger but numbers are still small. Need magnifier to see numbers on highway ... I hope you fix something Thank you anyway for this app.

Problems with third party directions.. Third party map directions no longer track. I get why they would add a paywall to finance the truck routing addition to this app, but the other routing options are now stifled by a coordinate to coordinate input when transferring to apple or google maps. This means that they use the static gps coordinates of your location when you switch over, instead of your actively tracking location. I don’t know why this is, but I no longer input location status feedback, because this app is no longer useful to me because I don’t need parking or weight station statuses, only conveniently accessible directions.

$99 for bugs and freezes. If all you want to do is a set a destination and go, then this may work for you. No guarantees though. And whatever you do - follow the 1 route you chose, or this thing will go bananas. It will continually try to get you back to the course you originally chose, rather than rerouting a different way. So you have to quit the route, then route it again for a new way to go. And holy f do not touch anything while it is routing you, because it will freeze. Then you have to restart Truckers Path to get it routing again. While you are traveling, do not touch any places that pop up, because it will freeze and you will have to restart Trucker Path. Want to the status of a truck stop along your route. Don’t!! It will freeze and you will have to restart Truckers Path.

App needs improvement. The routing software is strange. Sometimes it will make you go around neighborhoods or around a route that takes longer for some reason. The only thing this app is good for avoiding “truck route citations”. I’m giving it a 1 star because today after a 10hr reset it defaulted to my pick up address. And I realized it 90 min into the drive. That made me drive an extra 3 hrs and made me miss my receiving window. Day waisted. Also when trying to select a truck stop in a route, it would be nice if you can get a time instead of just miles. Kind of like google maps. I have to switch back between this app and google maps a lot. Will terminate my subscription and get a Garmin.

Greedy Developers. The developers became way too greedy. Spamming you with dumb ads and forcing you to pay for their subscription. UI design used to be clean now its filled with unnecessary tacky garbage. Ads became beyond annoying specially when you’re driving and want to look up weight station updates really quick. Paid service is too expensive, I would never invest to your greedy company that doesn't care about its customers aka truck drivers. Every year you becoming more greedy and annoying. Uninstalled.

Unforgivable Error. It is shocking that an app for truckers could direct us onto a highway that is prohibited to ALL COMMERCIAL VEHICLES. I downloaded this app because trucks are not ever permitted on “Parkways”. Today I used the Trip Planer to learn the route from Central Queens, NY to Upper Saddle River, NJ. I have a screen shot of this App instructing me to go on the Grand Central Parkway. There are still a few overpasses on the GCP that date back to the 1930’s that were intentionally built with less than 10 feet clearance. If a health care professional gave the wrong blood to a patient it would be a catastrophic and unforgivable error. There are accidents daily caused by truckers using Waze or Garmin. I have never seen an app for passenger vehicles that can avoid Parkways. This makes driving for me a real challenge. It is impossible to believe that a trucker’s App makes such a dangerous mistake.

Indispensable for Truckers. TP is an indispensable tool for professional drivers. The detailed information it provides on places to park and eat is incomparable, and the insights In reviews by fellow truckers ensures you will get the best information available about a truck stop suitable for your needs and wants whether it’s for a 30, 10 or 34. The routing is excellent, too. There is much more available than these basics. Try a Gold membership for a month and you’ll buy a one year subscription.

Very useful with some serious shortcomings. Been using the app about a month. Extremely helpful to plan a trip and adjust stops on the fly. That said, there are serious shortcomings: * The monthly costs for the higher plans are outrageous for what you get. Their monthly subscription compares to enterprise level software like Microsoft Office, The Adobe Platform, and others. It’s BONKERS that this flawed, much less complex software is charging more than $5-$7 a month for their highest level. * It needs a compass oriented view while driving. * It needs a clean way to view at other scales. Right now it’s either close up, or the entire route. I often need scale views at many points in between. This really is a great app and service, but I canceled my gold level membership and will figure out how to get by at lower levels and/or a combo of google maps and old school printed maps. I hope the producers reconsider their subscription model in light of what their charging compared to Microsoft and Adobe.

Pricing is ridiculous!. You honestly think a GPS is worth $30/month? For something that would only save me about 5 mins of trip planning every morning, you really think it’s worth that much? I mean what kind of poor money management skills does your company have? It’s not like your overhead is that much. I believe your management paid the senior devs a little too much, took a loan out from some serious loan sharks, and needs to pay the money back quickly, or something like that. Lol All jokes aside, I used to recommend this app to every new trucker I meet, until someone told me it costs $30 / month. Now I guess I’m going to start recommending TruckMap. WHY DO YOU NOT ALLOW HOS TO USE SPECIFIC MINUTES? HOS WARNING DOES NOT WORK.

Not worth it. I used this app for for quite some time on an occasional basis when our major fuel stops weren’t along the route. It was fairly good and handy at times however many times the parking areas listed weren’t public or even completely off base and no parking at all as well as the lot statuses were incorrect a lot of the time as far as occupancy. Now they have changed it and show an ad every time you try to look at a location and give you the option to pay $10 a month for a mediocre app at best, as if being out on the road doesn’t cost us enough as is. Today was the first time I seen the updated version with ads and the last day I am using it. I found another app that works better without ads or subscription and deleted this app.

Great app but please fix. I use this religiously. Great app helps me trip plan. One thing I found I have my phone side ways, length wise. Your app will open with the logo correctly no problem but as soon as the map opens it doesn’t turn. Only way I can get it to spin is to open a few spots and the info for the place opens right so when I close it the map is magically spun the right way. Also this has a lot of blue in it I find it difficult to find that small blue dot that’s my location. A flag, a big red semi icon something to see yourself amongst the sea of icons. I have to scroll out move the circle to another location see where I am. This is if you return to the app after leaving it. This isn’t a problem when you first open it and use it. It’s upon as I stated returning it’s very hard to see where you are especially if your moving. Thanks great app great info just a few things I believe

Great app but... App has been working great for me until now. When I type in an address for my destination nothing comes up. I have updated the app, uninstalled and reinstalled, checked my signal, connected to WiFi at a truck stop. Nothing. Was working fine before, now the only locations I can get a route to are the ones I have already entered from previous trips. Please fix because I have no way of using this GPS now.

BUTERA1. I called back in December 2019 to request a new device because the one I was using broke. They let me know they had a new device and would send out a new one ASAP. It’s January 29th and still no device has been sent out and I emailed they 2xs to ask where is the device with no response. They did send and email in recent weeks, which wasn’t relevant to the email I sent them about the device. They took a few days to get back to me after the first call informing them the device was broken. I would stay away from this company until they prove they have there act together. It’s absolutely ridiculous how bad their customer service is and if I traveled over 100 Air Miles and absolutely needed the decide I’d be in a lot of trouble.

One of my fav features is gone. One of the reasons I loved trucker path was the ability to edit the itinerary and reorder the stops. Now that it’s gone my stops are all jacked up so adding stops are useless because it does it for you and it been out of order every single time. It’s so annoying. I use to be able to have my route stops all planned out in the order I wanted it and all I had to do it drive without worrying about where I’m stopping next. Now I have to do one stop at a time and it’s annoying. Then I go to the chat support and they have no clue what’s going on. They are not informed of any updates it seems.

Routing issues. I got stuck in a freeway closure. GPS malfunctioning and found this app. Sounded like it had decent reviews downloaded it. Everything looked like it was good to go. It routed me a direction I’d heard other people were trying. Along the way. However, several of the state highways, I’m routed along closed. It offered me no information about the closures ahead of me that I had not reached yet. It offered me no alternative route and did not attempt to reroute me. As I scroll along the map, I could see that the closures are actually noted further along in the route. So why in the world when I had options to to go different directions. Did it not give me the opportunity to? Like a normal GPS would.

Freezes and glitches. When the app is working, it’s 5 stars. The problem is since one of the previous updates, it will freeze and glitch to the point of being unusable. If the app is running in the background and I go back to it, it glitches. If I’m using the app for more than a minute or two it glitches. I have rebooted my phone, hard rebooted, deleted the app and reinstalled it, nothing has worked. My phone is relatively new (iPhone) and every other app on my phone works without any issue. I have a friend who has the same problem with Trucker Path. Very frustrating.

Used to be better, too many people playing around on here. This app used to be 100% free, all features. The paid features are probably alright, but I refuse to pay for things like parking predictor, when I can just look at history and figure out the likelihood of parking availability for myself. Also the big problem plaguing this app, is that although it's great when it's used as it's meant to be. It seems there's too many people who play around on here, updating truck stop parking status to something inaccurate, for whatever reason, other than just childishness. Not cool.

GPS needs upgrade. I use this app as a motor coach driver. It has been helpful in quite a few situations with clearance and help finding fuel. It does better travel time estimates for the bus for sure. However, the actual GPS is sad. Doesn’t have some landmarks, addresses, or even cities that have been around for years. I have to use google maps at the same time to make sure trucker path is realistic and knows where all the newest roads are. I imagine you’re trying to cut cost by using a cheaper gps data source, but it’s my biggest complaint by far.
