Internet. I want to write a good report. However my phone doesn’t have internet with this app! It is the only way I have to communicate some of my friends. I have reported this once already. Please fix this. Please!

Great App!. I have used Google Admin with my G-Suite account for about a year. It has always been reliable. Yes, there could be some extra features but I still love this app!

Should be available for administrators as well. Not sure why it's only available to super administrators and not to regular administrators, in my case in a country manager as an as administrator and the app doesn't grant me Access for management of my team's accounts.

Ability to approve devices would be nice. Approving devices is something that would be great to be able to do on the fly with this app.

The only feature I actually needed isn’t there. The app looks good. It’s very limited though. I need to be able to create an email and see the generated password. It only shows on the computer. I mean what’s the point if I have to access the computer to check the password? 2 stars until then.

Useless. I want to change a group's permissions but can't with this app. Worse, I can't get into the admin webpage because Google keeps giving me the web version of this app. I want to maintain my G Suite but can't on an iPad. Google, do you really hate Apple that much?

Supporting last years phones, this year. Come on guys. New devices are out and you just now support last year’s?! Basic admin functions work. Nothing fancy. I still reach for my MacBook Pro for real admin tasks.

No Effort put into App. This doesn’t allow you to do much of anything. Almost like it was something created as busy work at 4:00 on a Friday.

Terrible support. The nonprofit org I created with my partners used Workspace. One of our board members claimed fraud on our email account & hijacked our nonprofit’s sensitive healthcare information along with all files associated with this impaired individual’s malfeasance. It is impossible to reach Google workspace to report ongoing issues with access to said account which proves embezzlement & wire fraud issues. For such an overpriced cloud solution I would think Google would offer clearer solutions for customer support.

It’s worthless. I’m supposed to be able to manage my office from this app from Google… but I can’t do anything with it from my Ipad, and the website doesn’t work from here either…

Needs to be optimized for iPhone X. User interface could use a facelift and some more functionality from the web version would be nice

Very limited utility. You can add users to groups, but you can’t edit or delete them afterward. This app is really bare bones and it would only be useful if they were to add a lot more of the web admin features. It’s easier just to use the web site.

Buggy. Last login time never updates, app needs more attention (though not more than the pathetically slow web admin console)

Not good enough. - Password resets don’t work, because it doesn’t follow organizational password rules - Not registered as a Google Workspace app, so you can’t paste data from organization-controlled Google apps

Reseller portal access. We really need to get the mobile reseller platform available. You cannot access it through the webpage because it is broken on mobile devices. This app does not allow you to access it. We need a mobile way to manage reseller users and domains. It’s frustrating having to be in front of an actual computer to do this.

missing MANY features. all this app provides is user and group control. the web UI is so much better for doing actual work with organizations and company management. Even Microsoft has Google beat on this with their admin console…

Missing features. I only can mange users and passwords, but this needs to be able to edit policy for everything. Please add Users/ Browser/settings and device policy management.

Meh.. It does a good job at a very very few things. It’s a quick way to suspend a user I guess, but it is very limited in functionality. I’m far better off just visiting admin dot google dot com and working from there. I wouldn’t bother with this app if I were you.

Google is the new Yahoo!. We are with Google Workspace because we are trapped by being so integrated. I have zero trust for the company and cannot wait to leave. Google first surprised us with storage caps on GSuite licenses, then it reversed its longtime promise to grandfather the original GSuite legacy licenses. Developers like me, who worked so hard to integrate Google's services in every product we make, now have the same company working against us. What is the point of having a 99.9% SLA, when the service can cease just like that? We are now migrating our company infrastructure to NAS drives and S3 storage to make sure we are protected against sudden changes like these. I am hoping that once we are no longer dependent, we can unplug Google once and for all.

I can maneuver through a computer good I’m 22 been doing it my entire life, I don’t see why google keeps making thing wayyy more complex then it needs to be, ive been try to change my pin for 3 days now with different things tell me to go different places I’m just trying to change my pin why is it so difficult it should be as easy as changing a passwork

Unable to generate password reset link. Bug bug bug, unable to generate password link. My organization has closer to 70 employees. Not sure if it's related but it quit working once I got north of 60 users. Super freaking annoying. Please update

Absolutely Regret Switching. So I was convince to switch from GoDaddy to Google for my business. I purchased the url with email, paid and received a receipt via email. I logged into google domain and the email is not showing, domain support says well add it by going to your workspace. I can not log into workspace. I was not given any access. Domain support said fill out a workspace support ticket for your login. I did that and they say there is no account. So I paid for a url and services that I can not use. And I can not get support for the problem because they say I don’t have those services.

Do Better. Archived users show active. Automatically generated pw on pw resets fails as it can’t seem to generate a compliant pw. Missing ability to do many basic admin tasks.

Awful App, crash prone. Terrible terrible use interface and extremely limited. Don’t even bother downloading this App. Change user OUs? Nope. Edit App access? Yeah right. Even view your chrome devices???? Not a chance. What’s the point of this app even existing? Why has it been forgotten about and neglected. Mature cloud directory my A**!!

Too basic. Not too bad, but the app is too basic by only offering user management.

Thin functionality. I’m not sure why Google couldn’t just present the same features and UI in the web based admin console into this app — at least the iPad version where there should be plenty of screen real estate. As it is, this only has the most basic admin features, which is pretty disappointing. I’d much rather have a direct console app rather than have to resort to the web version.

JavaScript Not Enabled On Apps Embedded Browser - Can’t Login. I can’t log in. It says I need to enable JavaScript, but the login page is its own embedded browser in the app so there’s no way to do so. Safari has java script enabled. Can’t use it.

Usability of google domains should be so much better. The menu on google domains doesn’t make much sense. They should simplify it and stop using so much industry lingo. For example, all the new updates to how email forwarding works. I can’t imagine the nightmare this would be now that square space is acquiring this business.

A Little Too Basic. I need this app to do far more than it allows. This app only allows me to edit user/group information. The Microsoft Admin Center is far more intuitive. Please fix this!

Only available for the account Super User. I’m an admin for a Google Workspace that has three other admins, but only the Super User can use this app. The regular admins do all the work, but we can’t use the app. So it’s useless.

Not reliable. You can easily delete user without a second confirmation message that a user is being deleted, there should some kind of 2FA for user deletion.

Complicated system for members of team. Just add the admin inside of workspace. The. Have the team apply for services with phone number and device. Because no one can get in. I really don’t want to head to Microsoft but I will.

Useless app - does almost nothing. Worthless junk. You can add and remove users. That’s it. Cannot admin 99% of the features in your organizations Suite account. Still have to use the web site, so effectively that means a laptop rather than the smartphone I carry for admin on my entire Corp network and security system. Google - don’t waste our time with rubbish.

Why. Why does not it have all the options that the website has? Please add domain management and some more features.

Impossible to Cancel Subscriptions. After closing our business during the pandemic, we wanted to cancel our $89/month subscription to Gsuite. There was zero physical way to “click cancel subscription.” It seems the goal is to frustrate the user to the point of giving up. Why is this not user friendly? This app doesn’t even offer the option.

Fix the aspect ratio please!!!. Why is it that the iPad Pro 11” has been out for over 2 years and this app still looks like it is made for the original iPad. It shouldn’t be difficult to make it work correctly and look decent on the new iPads. Also, why not add a few more functions for the app like are in the admin console. This should be able to manage devices, make/fix group issues, add apps to Chromebooks. There are so many options for this app and I just want more features. COME ON GOOGLE!!!

Not enough functionality. There is very little that you can do in this app. Google needs to add all the same functionality you can do in a browser for users and groups.

Not bad. For a smartphone app, the functionality afforded by Google Admin for iOS ain't bad. It's fairly responsive, easy to use, and very stable. The things I'd wish for in future releases include partial name matches when searching Groups (seriously -- what if the group name is too long to type all the way out and I don't want to scroll through the rest of my groups to find it?), and some search and filtering options for the Audit Log. Aside from that I'm pretty darn happy with this app and the features Google has been adding in recent revisions.

This App is Terrible. As an avid Google user and IT director for a Google Workspace company environment, I am embarrassed how little functionality this App has. The only thing this App allows is minimal management of users. No access to any other management of the admin console. I would expect a lot more from a Google App. Don’t download this. Just sign in to your admin account via mobile web browser

Need alias info for Groups. I really need to be able to see and edit Aliases for Groups. I would also like to be able to navigate to the Group by selecting that group under a User. As such: look at UserA; see the aliases and group memberships for UserA; from that screen clicking on GroupB only brings up a mostly useless pop up about GroupB; It would be immensely useful if that pop up had a way to navigate directly to GroupB. Other than that I am happy with the app.

Lame app. I guess an admin, according to Google, only apparently creates and deactivated email accounts — because that’s all you can do with this app. You can’t do anything else through this app. Lame. None of the google admin console is available thru this app.

Pretty bad. You can’t edit policy’s like turn off or on services like google chat. Microsoft admin mobile actually lets you edit policy’s. Please integrate more features!

Nonstandard UI for removing users. I had to search the web to figure out how to remove users from groups. Turns out you have to tap the image or circle to the left of the line item. This is nonstandard and not very discoverable. It should at least have a remove option on the detail view of users.

As basic as it gets... If you need anything other than change a password for an employee/student, you are going to need to get on a computer. This app is in dire need of an overhaul. It needs to allow you to modify A LOT MORE than just reset passwords and change details of a user. With the resources of a company like Google, this is simply inexcusable.

WORSE Than Imagined. Hands-down this is the WORST app I have ever seen..... Google tends to be “very set in its ways” (For Example— WHY can’t users widen their folders column in Gmail... Such a SIMPLE request that would make life to much easier, but NOPE, NOT GOOGLE). BUT THIS APP TAKES THE CAKE— I had set-up an online business account and had even bought a Domain Name, but I was NEVER able to access the account via this App..... To make matters worse, the log-in instructions asked me to change my PW with each log-in attempt... So WHO KNOWS WHAT MY FINAL PW is now..... I HOPE that I’m not now locked out of the Google Business Account that I’m PAYING FOR. That’s 30-minutes of my life that are now gone forever.....: Extremely shoddy, Google..... This is REALLY, REALLY BAD.....

Genuinely Worse GApp. This is by far the worst Google app made to date. It’s very, very simplistic in manager user accounts and by managing I mean add delete modify a user that’s it. Terrible. Let’s add the sidebar menu and allow the clients the ability to make changes to the workspace on a holistic approach while on the go.

Easy enough to use, great for helping forgetful employees. This comes in handy when I’m on the go and one of our employees forgets their password. That’s pretty much all I use it for - and it happens a lot.

Huh?. I’m so confused. All I’m able to do is view/edit my email address. It shows me listed as “super admin” but there is absolutely nothing else I see to be able to do on this app. No menu, no buttons, just the list of emails and the option to edit or delete them.

Useless. This app doesn't really do much but allow you to delete users. I installed it because I wanted to approve a new team members device and you can't even do that. Developers, please make this app more useful

Unable to reset password. I've kept this installed on my phone so that I can reset passwords of my users, while I am not in the office. However, it seems unable to do this task, even though it's offered. The app has almost no value other than that which is why I'm giving it one star.

Very limited use. Would love to see this app get more features. For instance, I was mobile with another staff member and they couldn’t get in with 2SA so I launched this app thinking I could get a backup code for them but all I could do is reset their password (which they knew).

Waste of time. Don't bother downloading this app. Waste of time and space. Extremely disappointing. Yet another piece of garbage from Google.

Sign in loop. Since downloading update it is in a continual sign loop. Asks to sign then proceed and it asks sign in again continuously, so cannot access!

Not much going on here. It’s fine enough of an app for managing users, but G Suite admin has dozens of options available, and this app only supports a small percentage of them. How about feature parity for the website?

Broken. UI is better but accessing groups crashes the app and audit logs also crashes the app.

2 step authentication stopped working. Updates to new version but 2 step authentication just goes around in a loop. Enter password and code received , accepts but then ask to login again and requests two step authentication again. Tried deleting and reinstalling same result. Old app was fine.

Reports. Please add reports feature as on desktop version. Thanks.

Many options still missing. Thumbs app for this great program. Btw, many options still missing example manage domain, etc.

Directory Manager Only. This app is perfect, if all you want to do is add users on the fly. Otherwise, it has 0 features (literally) for managing apps, licenses or really anything else. It’s just adding and editing users and groups, and for looking at the Audit Log.

Crashes continually. Keeps crashing.

Does its job. I would like it if when choosing a profile photo for a user if we could choose the photo from our albums and maybe google drive as well.

Cannot handle multiple accounts. Even the login is broken. Hasn’t been updated in 2 years

Not inclusive. This App doesn’t allow you to do anything except basic user management. It does not really provide Admin tool, you can’t even manage payments thru this App. I am not so sure of it value !

Disappointed. Much like other reviews, this only works if your account has superadmin access. I’d move the rating right up, if it allowed various degrees of permissions to actually operate to their level of access. Without that, I’m left using the website exclusively as this app is useless to me

Cant login. I'm the only super admin for my org and I cant login to the updated app. The old app was fine.

not user-friendly - Google Support horrible. You can’t get hold of support they make it very difficult to get help. Very difficult interface not user-friendly.

Horrible. I was offered a free 14 day trial they charged me. It’s so hard to navigate for a first time user and I’ve tried CANCELLING and that’s even harder. DONT SIGN UP!!!!!! beware!!!!

Handy but. I am a reseller and I can't manage any domains in my reseller account. That's frustrating. Otherwise functional ap.

Lacks device Management. I use google admin to manage chrome devices. This apps lacks this core functionality. Hopefully google will add this feature in future releases.

Great idea. Stupid limitation. It’s 2019 and Google seemingly can’t get an app to allow more than just the Super Admin to use the app. This limits the app to in most use cases to 1 user per G suite account. Call me cranky but that’s just straight up stupid for a company with the brightest minds in the business.

Crashes. The iPadOS version crashes every time. Totally unusable.

Handy but cannot use. I cannot allow my IT staff to use this app, even for User & Group management. Must have Super Admin privileges. That requirement makes this app pretty much useless. Too bad.

Google ruined this previously useful tool. The older version of this app was infinitely better than the latest update. It used to be significantly faster for me to create a new group, add members, set an owner using this app than it was to do the same on a web browser. The new version of this app ruined a previously productive experience. It now takes dramatically longer than before to do simple things. Examples: 1. The list of groups only caches 1 page at a time. Need to find a group that starts with “S” — sorry, you’re going to have to scroll, wait for cache to refresh, scroll, wait for cache, as many times as are required to get down to the “S” items. 2. Adding a new group: they have improved one aspect - typing the group name now has its own field separate from the domain field — that is better, but what’s worse is that after you create the group it NO LONGER sets the group list to the item you just added. In my example above, I had to scroll another 20 times (and wait for cache each time), to get back to the group I just added before I could add members to the group. 3. Adding members and defining roles is now TWO DIFFERENT steps — WHY?! What’s worse: After you add a member it DOES NOT show on the list of members - instead, you see a message that members won’t appear right away. You cannot refresh the list in place, instead you have to return to the group list, then re-select the group. Then, to set a member as an owner you have to select the member, choose change role and finally select the role. All of this was simple before - 10-20 seconds I could search for the group, create it if not found, and add the owner of the group. Quick, easy, faster than using my PC. Now this process takes 2-5 minutes. Horrible app update. Please revert to previous app or show that you care about admins by making their lives better / faster, not worse.

Almost completely useless. This google admin app for iPhone is probably the most useless app ever produced. Consider that Google has one of the biggest budget in the entire universe, this has to be the biggest joke. Even a high schooler can design a better mobile app. I’m sorry I’m so harsh, but there is zero improvement in UX and the scope since launch while we are paying lots of money per month per user for the google cloud services. Maybe time to switch.

Solid Start. Solid start from Google for a GApps Domain Admin tool. Easy to add users, modify groups, etc. Would love to see them flesh it out further to add Device Management to it.

Excellent!. [updated on sept 6th] Now the app is working great. We have more access to console features that weren't available on the mobile app. The environment looks to flow smooth. Thanks for fix the problem. Excellent!

No more free gsuite. Everything cost money

Extremely barebones. 99% of the GSuite admin portal is missing in this app. All you can really do is modify users, and check the audit log.

FIXED - Can't Login. Quick fix for the login issue, and it seems to be working great! Like the new layout!!

Bugs!!. Compared to the online version this mobil app struggles to compete. I've noticed several bugs. One major one in particular is the "add user" button doesn't work. After entering in all the info for the new user it won't let me add them via Mobil app.

Just Released. I'm the super admin of our domain. Password is correct. Asking me to authenticate again. When doing so app bounces back to beginning again. Never make it past the login/authentication screen.

2.0 Seems to be broken. I am constantly being sent through a login / authenticate loop, and can't seem to get past that. The app/icon looks very nice, but I can't use it just yet.

Good start. Needs MDM management. This app is a great start. It works well but it is missing MDM management which makes me still have to log into the website. Sometimes on the go I need to be able to approve, wipe or delete access to devices but this feature is not here yet. Please add MDM access if possible.

Easy, as you would expect from Google.. Not the full blown admin panel you’ll get from the desktop, but the functionality is there. As previous user suggested PIN support for more security would be nice.

Deleting a single user from various groups could not have been easier. Deleting a user from multiple groups is easier on the mobile app than on the Google admin panel.

Nice.. As an IT guy, this app allows me to do the tasks you would expect to perform on a mobile device. I wish the audit logs would provide a summary without having to drill down just to see the details on each event. e.g. Password change event on what account within the summary. Overall I am glad to have it. Please include PIN support for easier security. Just my opinion.

It does exactly what it says it's supposed to.. Why are so many people leaving bad reviews for reasons that are irrelevant? "Two stars - it needs MDM support". What? Is that an effing joke? You rate it two stars because it doesn't do something that you WANT it to do, yet it never claimed to do such things?! Come on, people... Pull your heads out of your butts... This app does exactly what it says it is supposed to do. If you want Google to add new features, rate their apps appropriately and then submit feedback to their support/development teams with your requests. It isn't that hard to figure out. Oh and for the people saying they can't log in: you probably a) aren't a super admin, b) have two-step authentication enabled, or c) don't have authorization to authenticate with mobile apps. Good day!

Update: much better with log in. Update: now that I can log in it is a big improvement from the previous version Happy to finally see an update but I can't login to the app.

Login issues. With this version it is getting me stuck in a login loop. I even tried completely deleting it and re downloading it and no luck. I have 2FA turned on, which I don't know if that is causing the problem but it's very frustrating.

Sadly, update does not function. Update: day two, I can now log in! However, app crashes immediately upon attempting to view group members. Garbage. Although today's update looks like a fantastic upgrade on paper, it simply will not allow me to login to any one of my seven Google apps accounts. All are paid Google apps for work or government, using super administrator logins, with zero success so far... Attempts to login result in an endless loop, enter password, return to login page. Confirmed with multiple accounts. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, no change. Bummer, since now I cannot administer any of my Google apps accounts.

Seems to be a login bug. Older version worked great. Just updated and now after I login it just loops back to the main sign in screen. Rebooted my iPhone 6 plus, removed app and reinstalled. Still no love.

Why call this an Admin Console lol. This app only allows you to create groups and reset an existing user's password lol.

New version broken.... The new 2.0 version downloaded today but I can no longer login. My admin accounts are listed, I can submit my password and I even received emails notifying me of a new login from my device, but it never gets past the 'Sign In' page. Just an infinite loop. I rebooted phone, deleted app, same result.

Super useful for super admins. Can do any user and group admin function on the fly with this app. Create / delete / edit users and groups, aliases, change pws etc. A time saver!

Offer to ALL administrators. I am an admin but not a super admin. I can access via the internet on my phone but not through this app. Would love to be able to access in an optimized format on my phone.

App crashes after sign in. This app crashes after signing in it goes back to the proceed button and you can't get in keeps looping back to sign in page please fix this I use this all the time. It was GREAT before this update. I had no problems before this update.

Mobile devices. How about the ability to approve/wipe mobile devices? I could use this feature frequently when folks ask me to approve their new device while I'm onsite. Right now, I have to remote in to my desktop from my phone to approve.

App not letting me log in. Old version worked this afternoon. Just update to new version 2.0.0 and it keeps going to the front page after I put in my admin password. Please fix!!

Geeeez about time.. Nothing is more challenging that trying to do all this in desktop mode on a iPhone. This is way overdue. (@ djtek)
