0 stars. Wouldn’t recommend. Found out about FlixBus through bolt bus going out of business. We loved our experience with bolt bus so we decided to book a trip to NYC. The purchasing process was super cool and that’s the only thing that went right. Purchased a ticket for Saturday 7/9 at 6:40am. We notified 30 minutes before departure that the bus was cancelled. Another notification minutes before the scheduled pick up time, we were notified that the bus was delayed by 30 minutes. We were then given the option to schedule another bus or get a refund. I picked the refund because I couldn’t risk the afternoon bus not showing up. We ended up buying tickets from Amtrak and requested that they refund us for additional cost the same day. It took a week for someone to get back to us about the original refund -which they don’t refund the entire cost it took to book with them despite it being their fault. They did approve the additional costs refund BUT they wanted my routing and checking account number via email. I asked if there was a way to just credit my original form of payment or to cut a check and it took another week to be told that via email I needed to provide my routing and checking information. That’s not how you do business! Don’t waste your time with this company. Save yourself the headache.

Okay. I’ve honestly NEVER had a problem with this bus company ever. I’ve used it A couple of times and so have my friends. My boyfriend, brother, and I are all blind/visually impaired. One complaint I do have is the fact of navigating where the stations are. It is hard to tell Uber/Lyft where to go because most of the time they don’t where it is, when it can just be a little platform in the corner. Not very good for the disabled. I’ve ridden mainly from/to Tucson AZ and LA. Always been on time and the ride was smooth. Perfect. Honestly it’s better then Amtrak at times. They are always late coming to Tucson from LA. The ONLY other problem I have is the drivers are NOT very good with dealing with visual impaired persons. Got some that just don’t care and that are rude. One was chill but not so much helpful towards my boyfriend and I one trip. Other then that, my boyfriend loved FlixBus, it’s doable and affordable. Recommend.

The driver was late for 1 hour and 21 minutes! Outrageous!. The FluxBus is a joke to me! The driver decided he can show up whenever! Late for 1 hour and 21 minutes is not ok! Where possible he could, he couldn’t be stuck in a traffic for so long in Sacramento?! The bus stop was a scary place to be with kids, under the freeway bridge, the noise of the traffic above us n by us gets even louder under bridge, the wait area is a regular narrow sidewalk, and no benches, crazy people passing by, lots of homeless (no offense)! After a busy day, running around with all the errands and run to the bus with luggage and the kid, we arrived to stop bus early! We showed up very early to insure we are not late. I was holding my kid and was so exhausted and we had to stand there for almost 2hours! Called Customer service 3 times! Although they were super polite they had no information why the bus was late! And when bus finally showed up, at 5:16 pm (NOT 5pm, as it says in the FlixBus App!), the driver simply asked for tickets and said nothing about his delay, no apologies or explanations! He looked like he just had a nap and doesn’t gives a s.... about it all! Had two stops at Davis and Berkeley and When we arrived to SF at 7:30 pm I checked FlixBus app n it says we arrived to SF at 7pm! What a lie!!! Never again, I am using their services and will Not recommend it to anyone!

Unreliable Service. We decided to use to FlixBus because we were not comfortable to drive to Los Angeles, CA from Arizona this time around. The bus got to the area to pick us up right on time & all was well. Travel started great up until we got to Blythe when the bus driver let someone on board who was clearly on drugs. The man began to harass us & make us feel very uncomfortable. We had to move seats because he wouldn’t stop. Eventually, we had to ask another passenger to help let the bus driver know because it became very unsafe, thank goodness for her. Once the bus driver was aware of the situation he handled it properly & made sure we were safe up until we made it to California. I would have given it 3 stars for the bus driver being very kind to us, handling the situation right & the bus ride being just fine on the way there but i give it 2 stars because FlixBus canceled our trip back & we ended up having to take Greyhound to get back from California. Almost left us stranded.

Horrible customer service/ terrible company. Not my first time having a bad experience with this company, decided to give it another shot.. Waited in 105°+ weather for a bus that didn’t arrive and was told a refund is “not possible”. It is absolutely possible. You took my money for a service you did not provide. How is it not “possible” to give me back my money. There’s no immediate customer service you have to email them and you will not get a response til weeks later. Absolutely greedy company with rude bus drivers and when you pay for a “reserved” seat it is never actually reserved, the drivers let others sit where they want. DO NOT pay for reserved seating you will not get it. Do not pay for any extra add ons because you will not get it. Just don’t give this company your money. I guess that’s the reason it’s so cheap.

FlixBus saved my Christmas. I know it's a little late, but I thought I would share my story. My wife and 2 kids live in Berlin, and I was on an important business trip in Amsterdam. Being the clutz I am, I missed my flight... I was literally facetiming my kids and telling them about how I was going to miss Christmas when the friendliest stranger in the world told me about Flixbus. I downloaded the app, and WITHIN an hour, I was on my way home. On top of that, it was actually a nice bus! I've been on other buses before, but at this hour, for this price, I expected outlets that didn't work and lights that flickered. The bus seemed brand new and even had working wifi!!! I made it home before my kids even woke up. Just like Santa hehe

This is a review of the app, not the service.. FlixBus as a service is average. I try to avoid taking buses whenever possible. I’m currently on a bus from LA to Palm Springs because it was really the best option available (I can’t drive). We’re running with a 30 minute delay due to traffic. The service is fine. The app however is great. I’m a user experience designer and I’m really impressed. The app updated to reflect the delays, and displayed all necessary information in a nice, clear way. It does everything an app like this should. So, great job!

BEWARE flixbus users!!!! would give 0 stars. flixbus is an Unreliable and Sketchy service!! Me and my non binary boyfriend booked with flixbus to go on a trip to Boston to celebrate Pride Month. flixbus never showed, twice!! we booked a morning trip and waited for over an hour at the interstate bus platform at the train station. turns out, flixbus picks up not at the designated bus platform, but Across The Street from the station with No indication whatsoever on the ticket or the website!! We had to ask several train station employees where the bus picked up, only one of which said they saw the bus across the street a while ago. Sketchy!!! we rescheduled our bus for later that afternoon. we waited for over an hour, during which we read hundreds of one star online reviews!! the tracker kept on displaying “on time,” yet it Clearly Was Not On Time!! we finally called flixbus customer service, who after some delay informed us that due to “unknown technical issues” the bus had not even reached its initial departure location, an over two hour drive from our stop!! we were informed we would not be receiving refunds for either trip!! because of flixbus, we were not able to reach boston to celebrate Pride Month. disappointing!!! take bolt bus instead.

Hit or miss. When it works, it’s great! I’ve had several smooth trips from LA to San Diego. But I’ve also had a trip from San Diego to LA where it got delayed by an hour, then two, then after calling customer service and having them tell us that the bus is right there (no, I am right here, the bus most certainly is not here), they said oh actually we’ve canceled the trip. I managed to get a refund but sneakily, they didn’t refund the service fee. We found out through a worker at Amtrak Santa Fe Depot that they hadn’t seen a FlixBus in weeks, and that FlixBus just cancels trips (after multiple “delays”) if a bus doesn’t have enough riders. (There were about 7 of us waiting and helping each other get information.) I won’t be booking that segment ever again, but will do LA to San Diego, as that has been reliable so far. Moral of the story: it really depends on your route, and assume customer service is on par with the cheap fare you’re paying. (Customer service = keeping customers informed with correct info, as the bus drivers have been great.)

Customer Service is a Nightmare.. I booked 2 tickets to Las Vegas. On passenger names I entered my name twice and I went through the app to try and correct my error. It charges a fee for $5.00 to change just the name of passengers (which never went through) I tried calling to get a hold of a representative but whatever option you pick through their automated system hangs up on you and tells you to manage it through their website. Their chat service also takes forever to respond. I ended up cancelling my trip and they only issue a voucher. Now I’m sitting here on chat trying to get a refund. If there’s these many problems with just their customer service I can only imagine the ones encountered while traveling. I wouldn’t recommend booking your trip with them.

DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! Made us wait in the cold for 3HRS and wouldnt issue refund. We waited in the cold (with a kid) for our 7:15am montclair-los angeles schedule not knowing their bus was delayed til 10am. I didnt know about the delay until I called their customer service, no notification through app or email. i asked to cancel all our trips because they ruined our schedule and asked for the refund, they promised me full refund because of the inconvenience and since it’s the first time, but when i emailed their financial services they would give me what they promised. This is cheap, but this is such an unreliable and heartless company. They wouldnt even understand yoursituation and what happened and insisit on giving you a voucher even if you couldnt use it on where you live. This company ruined our trip and at the same time wouldnt make up for it. thumbs down for both the company and its employees who cant even understand the hassle they brought to the customer

Amazing price, gets the job done. I don’t understand why this has such a bad rating. I did a roundrip from LA to SF for just $20. Of course this is not as flying in business in a plane. It’s a bus, so it’s not as chill as a plane, it’s a longer trip than in a plane, and more uncomforrable but dude, I can’t understand why people is complaining. If you don’t like it, just pay 6 times more and take a plane. But don’t complain if you were not comfortable as a king in your trip, because you paid such a low price. I really recommend it. I don’t recommend to get reserved seats, it’s a cheap service, so when someone gets off the bus try to move to another seat if you’re not comfortable. The only bad thing is that on both trips sometimes I got a bad smell, maybe from someone who farted hard or maybe because other reasons. But I’ll use it again, no doubt!

0 stars. The absolute worst bus experience I’ve ever had. There is no label or specific location in regards to their stops and they don’t have a clue about the whereabouts of thier buses. I waited at the bus stop 30 min prior to arrival to make sure and didn’t miss the bus. The thirty minutes passed and I figured it was just a bit delayed and well after 20 minutes it’s was too much so I looked for a costumer service number on the website and app and it was no where to be found! I had to google search for the number. Then I was on hold for 40 min! When they picked up they didn’t know where the bus was and asked me to call back? Knowing darn well I had waited 40 min just to get that response. After bothering them I finally got a bus but it wasn’t but 2 hours late by the time it came by! They will not notify you if a bus is cancelled or simply not coming. I was almost left stranded. Mega bus will save you this hassle please don’t use their services, you don’t want the be in that position I promise.

Two hour+ delays too many. I’ve used the flix bus service since 2020. I don’t think I’ll be using it going forward. On my prior trip to the one I’m on, Flix informed me after I rushed to arrive to their pickup location that my bus had been delayed by 15 minutes. This began a 2.5 hour waiting saga where they delayed by 30 minutes at a time until pickup. Checking the website, I saw they had two buses that would go on my route that day. One left at the which I purchased, one which left when I was picked up. I’m 90% sure the first bus was under booked so they canceled it without telling passengers so only one bus would have to be driven and capacity would be higher. The result is they saved a few bucks and I with several others stood in the sun at 90 degree weather The second time is the one I’m on. Once again, pickup was delayed by an hour. In addition, we took a ten minute break half way down to our destination to fill up gas, something that shouldn’t be hard for a bus company to budget into ride time. It was at this point we got our second driver who was also caustic. I’m fine with a slight delay or a curt driver here and there. The app works fine, though it would be nice to be able to see how far away the bus is when you’re stuck waiting in the sun. The service though is just too abysmal at the moment to recommend.

Flixbus. The app is fine. (Star one) Their buses however are no good. I am currently sitting in the side of the freeway in one that has had technical issues in San Louis Obispo and have been for 4 hours. Apparently it’s going to be another hour before another bus comes to complete the final 2 hours of my trip. The second star is for them offering to reimburse us for $20 worth of food if I order it. Great. I still had to fork over the money I was going to use to get home from the station for food because obviously this service is not instant. I’ll figure that out, but it was time that was lost. I had somewhere to be today. I had somewhere to be on Friday too when the bus arrived over 3 hours late over technical issues. Punctuality means absolutely nothing to this company where as they have zero respect for people’s time. I’m going to try and refund both tickets, but I highly doubt they will. Edit: neither the outlets nor the Wi-Fi worked as advertised so the phone battery that was fully charged when we left that would have survived the 5 hour ride, will be dead (3 hours over) before we get back to call a Lyft or an Uber to actually go home. This would not be so problematic if the station we were going to… ACTUALLY HAD… ACCESSIBLE OUTLETS. 🙄

FlixBus is awesome!. I’m a huge fan of FlixBus. I first used them when I was living in Germany, and I was happy to hear that they are now operating in the US. The buses are clean and comfortable; much more so than other bus lines, in my opinion. The tickets are almost always super cheap, and it doesn’t cost much to upgrade to a nicer seat (worth it if it’s a pretty drive). A lot of the complaints I’ve seen here are about the bus being late, which is a fair point. I don’t think I’ve ever had a FlixBus show up right on time. However, their service is designed for longer trips (e.g. San Diego to LA), where you should be traveling smart and anticipating delays anyway. Overall, I recommend FlixBus every chance I get!

If you use this app you’re an idiot. It’s my first time using this app and I already got my trip messed up because of the horrible idiotic service this “bus” offers. A cab has better service than this app. I came ready to go home and I barely found out by OTHER people that my trip got cancelled literally 20 minutes after the bus was supposed to come. They don’t send you a email or any notification letting you know the bus isn’t coming at all. They just assume you read minds and leave you standing outside. Not only that, if you even get lucky that your bus doesn’t cancel on you the seating is probably worse than a broken chair. It feels like your sitting on steel. It gets even better too, if your bus cancels on you, you get no refund you can only catch the next bus which was out of my inconvenience . Good luck with calling them too because all they can offer is a apology. I suggest saving time and not even bother looking at the app longer than a second. I’d rather walk than use this trash.

Done with flixbus. Flixbus is a joke of a company. They cancelled their route 2 times in a row at the last minute after I booked with them, without any prior notification. The bus just simply never showed up. I asked them the location of the bus and they don't know...I guess they don't track their own buses My trip was from RVA to ATL, and I missed 2 days of work and almost got fired because of them. Their customer service will make you wait for hours before reaching them and then their tone just says I don't gaf about your inconvenience. The most they can do is either rebook your ticket or refund. But you've already lost more than the ticket from transporting to and from the bus stop after cancellations. I ended up booking a flight which cost about $200 because I was not gonna risk my job by giving them a 3rd chance They are very UNPROFESSIONAL and are not worth it. I 1st used flixbus because it was $50 and thought it looked decent. They don't stop by nowhere you can get food/drinks, and their in-bus bathrooms don't even have water... just hand sanitizer. On top of that they increased their prices so might as well find other options. I'm done with this company and never again will I waste my time and money with them.

Beware!. I would leave zero stars if I could. I was excited to try it out as it was fairly cheap to go to Las Vegas. I was even happy that it allowed you to reserve seats for an extra fee. I was nervous about our group having to separate on the bus so being able to do that seemed great. The bus arrived early and I thought everything would be ok. As soon as we boarded we saw that there was no numbers on the seats and the bus had already made a few stops before us so we were stuck with trying to get seats together. We had reserved seats at the front and we ended up in the back near the bathroom which we wanted to avoid. On the our trip back to LA, the bus was late. We received one notification that it would arrive at 8:50pm instead of 7:55 like it was supposed to but it did not arrive until past 9:30pm. It was not even a FlixBus it was a charter bus which had no WiFi, no outlets, and like the first ride, no numbered seating. So once again we had to scramble to get seats together. I have since sent several emails and even contacted them on their twitter accounts to get my money back for the seat reservations and I have been ignored. I would advise everyone to go with a more reputable bus company that you can trust. FlixBus will take your money and they don’t care if you even make it back in time as by the time we got to the station the regular buses and trains had already stopped running.

Can’t resend your ticket AND refuse to give you a refund?!. We purchased tickets but ended up not receiving the tickets due to our inbox being full. We called to ask our tickets be resent, but the representative said they were unable to resend tickets, and we could request a refund instead. So we submitted the refund request and proceeded to purchase a second set of tickets (because we still needed to make the trip). A week later, we receive notice that the company cannot issue a refund because our inbox being full was not their problem. So essentially, they could neither issue a refund nor resend our tickets? What kind of company fails to keep a log of tickets issued? Imagine your airline or train telling you, “Didn’t get your tickets? Not our problem! We can’t resend your tickets OR give you a refund, sorry!” What a disgrace to customer service. If you need to purchase tickets, get them from another company—one that can resend your tickets if you lost or didn’t get them for whatever reason!!

Not Organized At All. Short story : I wait at the bus station 3 hours and the bus NEVER show up. Poor customer service and no solution provided. Long version: I got to the bus station on time and the bus NEVER show up. Called the customer service. - He told me that they didn’t know the delay until we called them. Seriously?! You can not track your bus and you need to rely on the customers to report that! - He told me that they can not locate the GPS of the bus and the reason is UNKNOWN. Seriously?! Your bus just disappeared for no reason. - After 1 hour, we called again. Then they told us the bus has already arrived and left. Are we all blind?! - The most fun part is here. We asked for the solution and the customer service told us to book a bus from the other companies bc they can not arrange another bus to pick us up to the destination. The “smartest” way to help angry customers to solve the problem. Anyway, they did say they will refund and pay for the new tickets with the other company. Let’s see how it goes. In summary, they are still not well organized. What I heard from the bus station staff, their buses are always late. I think you should be able to provide helpful information to the users and also solutions instead of UNKNOWN and sending us to use the other services. Not good to customer and also your own business.

0/0 do NOT recommend. Okay so this bus is cheap so I get why it’s not the best but let me tell you arriving THREE HOURS LATE is not worth the twenty bucks. The worst part is while we we’re waiting we called their customer service MULTIPLE (like 8) times and we kept getting the same it’s going to be there in five to ten minutes just sit tight. However it was NOT there in five to ten minutes, even after the last phone call it took thirty minutes to arrive. Because of their convincing promises we didn’t get on the train we had as a backup and because the drivers didn’t even TRY to make up the time as we went we missed our flight and somehow added even more late time when we were on the bus, arriving three plus hours after we were supposed to in Vienna. Furthermore, customer service was completely rude and unhelpful just like the drivers, the website doesn’t work neither does the app and we will receive absolutely no compensation after missing our flight, not staying in the hotel we ordered because we had to take an overnight train to Italy. All of that cost money and considering how big a company this is you’d think they had enough money to give some back. Shame on them don’t recommend even for the cheap prices.

It was horrible. We were trying to get to Austin from Dallas and when the bus arrived it was the San Antonio bus and it was our bus because it will stop at Austin where our stop is then to San Antonio But the bus driver lied to us to wait for next bus and then we had to wait for next bus so we waited 1hr and 30min and the bus never arrived we waited almost 2hrs and we realized that the San Antonio Bus Was Ours Cuz it will stop at Austin like I just said where our stop is and what was also horrible is that bus left at the wrong time and then my mom had to call them to give us our money back and then they gave the money back and then we saw these other 2 people who were also trying to get to Austin from Dallas by FlixBus And They had the same problem like us our bus was there bus too and we missed cuz it departed at the wrong time so we partnered up with those 2 people and took megabus instead.I Will Never Ever Ride FlixBus Again.

First time rider. The overall all ride was good and I love the affordable tickets. The bus was clean and comfortable even the restroom didn’t have a smell. The reason for me giving four stars instead of five is because my bus had a three hour layover which I had to wait outside for. There are no signs on the buses to tell you where they are going. Every bus that pulled up, four to be exact, I had to ask if they were going to my destination. I had to walk a block and a half up the street with my luggage just to make it to a store to get snacks and use the restroom. Maybe they should get a little shelter in the lot that at least have seats and a restroom.

You guys are amazing, I’ve been with you all over Europa and now in stats , always the best service, nice polite drives even cool Quiet travelers , Good timing , the best right speed to get there , clean buses, Green energy, I feel you are helping us to get there really that what I feel So far I talked about you for everybody to use your service or anything feel like your support , A travel solution to get there , today you let me think with this good prices and amazing service to go places,a company like you supporting limited financial people To find solutions in the hard times in their lives Doing more than business, you are making connections through this energy, just please support your customer service phone-line Just in case if people couldn’t find your bus stop Which is so clear in the E-mail that you sent as confirmation but cause also you can’t copy Past the links so it’s hard and some times confusing for some people having some hard times or they find them self alone o think just you need to support your phone line service cause it’s very hard to speak to your customer service line . Terrible. I booked a trip for my partner who was at the terminal ahead of time. We were both notified that the bus will be 15-20 minutes late. They stayed for an hour and getting in contact with customer service was a nightmare and i believe one agent hung up on me while getting the booking number. I called back only to find out the bus left 20mins ago, but how is that possible when my partner was at the stop. I am assuming the Driver left early we finally got the bus tracker which wasnt working and saw that the bus was headed to the destination. I am a Bus Driver myself and have to say that FlixBus needs to really improve on communication and should not hold passengers liable if the the Driver decides to not follow the timetable. Despite the reasonable price i understand why the tickets are so cheap. No one will dare pay higher fees with such crappy service. I had high expectations for this company as they are in Bus Simulator and am completely turned off and will not recommend this company to anyone.

Book with mega bus or another company!. For starters, the customer service line is of no help. Upon boarding the bus, the drivers app was not working so he could not check anyone in. We made a stop in Baltimore and a new driver checked everyone in only to discover a passenger had got on the wrong bus. Now who’s fault is that!? This companies fault because there should have been a better way to check everyone in before we even left. The bus was then delayed by over an hour because the driver forced the passenger off of the bus (mind you, she spoke very little English and if you know Baltimore that is not a safe place for a woman to be by herself). I do not like how the situation was handled at all. They claim to care about the safety of their passengers but it doesn’t seem as so. The women had paid for a bus ticket to New York with this company just like everyone else and there were 4 buses at the meeting point in DC with NO signage so it was very confusing for the woman to know which bus to even get on. Do better!

Excellent Service. I was very skeptical of using FlixBus because of all of the bad reviews that I saw. However, as a first time user, I had an excellent experience. Booked a round trip from NY to Washington DC and within both trips drivers were very punctual and professional. We were supposed to depart at 7:00 AM, and departed exactly at 7, no delays or anything. The buses were clean and we were provided garbage bags. We arrived to our destination around the same time we were supposed to (Mind you, traffic matters). Overral, will recommend FlixBus to anyone.

Never Again. Service is absolutely horrible. I would never recommend anyone to ya this service. My husband and I went on a trip to Vegas this past weekend, we checked out of our hotel and went to the spot where the bus had dropped us originally. The bus driver showed up was checking people in when we tried telling him he was our bus he said we weren’t on his list . He didn’t allow us to get on and told us that our bus would be there at 8:15. We’ll turns out that was our bus but we were at the incorrect pick up location. The driver could’ve simply told us to go to the next location , but instead left us. We contacted customer service where we were helped by the worst CSR ever. No manners, no respect. She told us that there was no way she could give us a refund or help with some time of discount even though she forced us to buy new tickets. The new tickets happened to be 12 hours from the time we were originally supposed to leave. We were stranded with no where to go, charged and extra 60$ all to come back. I will never use your service again and I have put in a complaint with the better business bureau .

Good ride. The overall ride has been a breeze. The seats are comfortable. Reason for me giving it 4 and not 5 stars is because it is somewhat unorganized. The bus arrived 20 min late, it would be nice to get notifications letting us know this, especially for those new to this and the pick up location is not specified. Also, I paid the extra amount (Not much) to choose a seat. I chose a window seat because that’s what I enjoy. I tell the bus driver my seat number, and he tells me, “You can just sit next to her”, pointing at the person that had taken my assigned seat. I chose not to say anything because I try to avoid confrontation so I thought It would have been nice for the driver to tell the person that it’s time to give up the seat for those that paid for assigned seating. Also, the bus is not too clean, the floors have a lot of dust and hair pilled up under the seats. Will I ride again with FlixBus? Of course. It’s affordable and it gets you to your destination. Just don’t pay the extra for assigned seating unless you want an awkward ride if you chose to say something. :)

Impressive travel app! (plus my wish list). I found FlixBus through Omio, and after an awesome trip from Brussels to Bruges, I’ve now booked several trips through this app directly. It’s visually appealing, allows for quick searching, and is quite intuitive—especially for a transportation app. I appreciate being able to use Apple Pay and add tickets to Apple Wallet. I just hope to see a few things in the future. In particular, more details on the layovers/changes, and visual confirmation of the trip dates/times as you’re checking out. Also, as a new user, I paid extra service fees because I didn’t realize you could add multiple trips before checking out (so I did three separate bookings). That could be a bit more intuitive, but I’m glad to know it’s possible now. Overall it’s a really great app! 👏

Not real time update, limited information. What it offers and how it actually works could be two different things. For example it offers the ability to see where your bus actually is but oftentimes you will get the no signal received message. The ETA is probably updated periodically, not in real time as I was still traveling on the bus where the app told me I was already there. If you have a connection you will not get the specific information at which specific stop your next connection is, just a generic information. On the good side it keeps your electronic tickets, which you can transfer to the Apple wallet. You can search for routes and purchase tickets within the app. When it works it shows the bus position on a map.

Never using again.. I’ve used flexbus 3 time to get around Europe and i must say that all 3 experiences have been, at best, difficult, and at worst, downright unpleasant. All 3 buses ran >25 minutes late, the seats are all too small to be comfortable, and the drivers are all very rude. The worst experience i had was on an overnight bus from Germany to Geneva. I had 2 bags (flexbus only allows 1 but you have the option to pay for an extra one online which i had done) and the driver would not let me put them in the storage space under the bus. I had to wait for him to walk away and open the hatch to put my bags in. This kind of rudeness should not be tolerated in the service industry. Overall i would advise everyone to use any other method to travel, even if you save 100€/$/£ the bus costs more time and effort. A very unhappy customer

Location address for driving. Almost missed my bus took a lift to pick up location first time taking bus back home at night couldn’t remember location in dark so dropped me off at what a burger because said we had arrived at S Rural got on to app and walking direction kicked on and wasn’t at pick up had 2 minutes till leaving so had to literally run 3 blocks waving my hands to catch drives attention so they didn’t leave with out me driver nicely waited for me. Have to say this bus is amazing price is more then affordable for my work trips and such an easy rout if they get this problem fixed it will be 100% perfect nothing bad to say about this Business at all drivers are so friendly and go above and beyond maybe having an actual address if people are new to this rout would be helpful for future references. Thank you FlixBus for getting me to and from safely And comfortably.! You Rock just a minor problem.

DON’t USE THIS SERVICE. I booked two tickets from San Diego to LA and got to the pick up spot early like instructed. A bus showed up 20 minutes late and when the bus got there a rude female employee told everyone that we must have the wrong bus because it was going to Las Vegas. As a result, only a couple people boarded while a large group remained at the stop late at night in the cold. After calling customer service and waiting on hold for 10 minutes they said that that bus was in fact the bus from SD to LA. I asked when the next bus was and they said it was the next day. When I asked about what I could do all they said they could do was give me a voucher. When I asked about receiving a refund the guy said I would have to go online and file a form. The service is EXTREMELY unorganized and there is a lack of communication between drivers and others operating the service. Definitely not worth using.

Absolutely Horrible. I was left stranded at the bus pickup at 5AM out in the cold & not one person from Flixbus bothered to pick up the phone to let their customers know that the bus had been cancelled & the next bus would not arrive until 5 hours later. I had to pay an Uber almost $150 to get me to my destination so I wouldn't miss a trip out of town with family. If they would have simply called to say the bus was cancelled I could have made other arrangements. I understand bus malfunctions but the lack of care & service is horrendous. How can you leave your customers stranded out in the cold & not pick up the phone & make an effort to call them so they can make other arrangements??? When I reached out to customer service I received the same horrible service & no help. Was told "sorry, we'll refund the bus fare but not the $2 service fee" What a joke!

Why aren’t you tell your customers when there’s a bus stop change.. I’ve been taking the Fluxbus for the past two years from Palm Springs to LA, LA to Palm Springs. On today’s trip apparently the stop was changed from the front of the hospital to downtown Palm Springs. No one was notified of the stop change, it wasn’t on my ticket it wasn’t on the information and everyone getting off in Palm Springs were saying oh my gosh I have to call my pick up and tell him the new location. Your customer service has never really been very good.

Terrible service, nearly got heatstroke, and left on line for 30 minutes. I had the worst ride experience of my life. Not only did flixbus not tell me two separate bookings were cancelled but they charged me a “cancellation fee” and “service fee” for their cancellation of my ride. When I finally got a bus ticket that was supposed to take me from Houston to Austin, I was left stranded in 100 degree Fahrenheit weather. All throughout, I waited for flixbus customer service and was left on the phone for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes the system dropped me from the call. As someone who travels between Europe and North America, I was shocked by the utter lack of service. Greyhound and pepper Pan are better than this and that is not saying very much. The total lack of customer service in this case compels me to never book a flixbus ticket again. I was near heatstroke when I finally gave up and went home.

Horrible!!! Very Worst!!! You get what you pay for!. Very horrible. Worrrssttt ever. If you don’t want your trip ruined by so many reason, don’t ever book a trip in this bus. This is the most worst and horrible bus app ever. You’ll actually get what you pay for. If I could turn back the time, I would just pay the $3-4 extra at megabus. If ever some delays or any kind of problem came up in flix bus, call the customer service and they would probably tell you a lot of lies that the bus is coming in at 10mins. After 2-3hrs of waiting that’s the only time the bus would come, what’s worse is that your bus might not even come. Or not knowingly that your bus have already left you even if you arrive early at the terminal to wait for the bus. They won’t tell you the truth, they would even hang the phone and worst, they wouldn’t answer your call. Take my advice or Good luck on your trip.

Bus never showed and was stranded. I’ve booked several times with Flixbus and overall had a well experience until recently. Booked from Texas to Oklahoma and had to transfer to a different bus in Dallas by a sketchy area and the second bus that was supposed to take me to my destination NEVER showed up. I waited over 2 hours and when I called there was no answer to where my bus was so my only option was for a rebooking at 3:00 am or a refund. Even with the refund it didn’t make up for this. I was all alone in a big city with no family or anyone to stay with and to top it off my phone was dying so I had to think fast. It is a horrible scenario for anyone to have to deal with. I was fortunate enough that it was still daytime and that I carried enough money for extra expenses such as a taxi, hotel and food, but if I didn’t have any of that I would have been stranded. I highly advice to have a backup plan in case this happens to you. Always make sure to be over prepared because this can happen to anyone. Never taking Flix again.

Reliable trip but one RUDE driver. Had a great trip to my first destination. Driver was friendly, helped with baggage, gave updates on overhead speaker, and stopped for quick 15 minute break. Unfortunately, my driver coming home was incredibly rude...yelled at us when we got on the bus without his permission (we were just making sure it was the right bus), didn’t help with luggage, didn’t give any updates on the overhead speaker, and when we got to our destination all he said was “get off now because I’m not coming back here after my next stop” and proceeded to run into the bathroom without helping anyone off the bus. It was shocking. Otherwise pleasant trip.

Credit where it is due. So far for the past two times that I have used them, they have been early which is always a good thing. And It’s affordable. Unfortunately the driver of one of the busses was smoking a cigarette while inside the bus but at the very least exhaling outside the window before the bus took off or anyone was inside. You’ll always have those guys. At least I’m getting where I’m going lol. They also had a guy walking around at the NYC stop showing people where to go for their respective busses since they all look the same and are here all at once.

Horrible experience. My first time using the flixbus and I am no stranger to bus rides as I have used other services such as the Megabus. My bus was at 7:20 pm and the weather was about low 30-40s degrees. I got to the bus stop at 645 and waited until 7:23 realized the bus left because I got a text message at 7:23 saying that there was a bus change in type and color AFTER that bus had already left 3 MINUTES AGO! I stood in the cold for almost 40 minutes with distress and panic! I called Flix and the lady told me on the phone that it isn't Flix's fault but the operators fault. Like what?! I have the app and the texting services. The bus that was there, the guy didn't even come out of the bus saying anything! Now what if I was stuck in a unknown place since the Flix bus STOPS for pick and arrival here have sketchy dogdey places. Sketchy Drop off and pick up spots I will not be riding flix again. Not all the buses are nice and new since they use an "operator service" beware!

Late and unorganized. I booked two rides, one through Italy and another one from Italy to France. The one from Italy was late about 15 mins at start which wasn’t too bad. The one going to Marseille was almost 2 hours late at the destination and I missed my FlixBus connection to Montpellier. They sent me message that I was rescheduled for another bus that leaves 3 hours later. I waited. The bus came 40 mins later than scheduled and then the driver said my ticket was not valid! I showed him SMS I got from FlixBus about being rescheduled but he didn’t really care about it. Eventually me and a few others in similar situation forced him to call the office and they confirmed we can be on the bus. We started 70 mins after scheduled time. Terrible. Otherwise nice that they have wifi so I can write this review! That’s why 2 stars and not one.

don't buy you will waste your time and your patience. my mother and I buy the ticket from New York to Boston, arriving at the place, it was totally disorganized, in a sun of 35 with no place to sit to wait for the bus, when the bus arrived I just went to ask a supposed driver and he it was super RUDE to me it was horrible, when we got on the bus we didn't know that everyone had their seat, I sat in any seat, and a passenger told me that I was in his seat. so far so good, we tried to find our seat until we saw that a man was sitting where one of the seats was, we told him that was one of our seats and he said that was also his seat he showed us his ticket and it really was, we called the driver and the driver told me to sit in a super tight seat, very different from what I was supposed to be in, my mother went to her seat and there were people there too, IT WAS CHAOS, at the end another passenger said for the driver who would change seats to let us sit next to each other. never buy again

never never again. The application works correctly, but the company as a carrier is very bad. Last week I ran into such a problem when I bought a ticket from Philadelphia to New York. I came to the bus stop in advance , but by the appointed time the bus was not at the stop and several people had accumulated who also did not understand what was going on . Later it turned out that in connection with the marathon in the city , they decided to postpone the stop and did not notify the passengers who bought a ticket and thought that the stop would be at the old place . I contacted the support service and I had to stand in the cold for an hour figuring out all the circumstances of this case . Well, the only answer to all my requests was that I had to somehow guess myself that the stop would be postponed. The support service also informed me that all the information is indicated in my ticket , but I have a screenshot that there is a stop in the ticket at the old place where I was waiting for the bus . The company did not suffer any damage to itself , but I had to get to the train station and buy a train ticket . Next time I prefer not to use the service of this company . And I will prefer a company that cares about its passengers and tries to convey important information in a more vivid way . Anyone who wants to use the services of this carrier as a last resort, you know you can lose money and health hoping for not high-quality.

We had a really bad experience using Flixbus.. I’ll preface by saying I’m usually not one to leave reviews, but this experience was particularly bad and upsetting. Long story short, we bought 3 round trip tickets, and never boarded either bus. We had to end up driving our personal car instead, which we did not plan on doing. We arrived at what (we thought) was the correct location in Tempe, AZ at 8:43 AM. I checked the app and it said that the bus had already left to Phoenix at that point. We called customer support, waited for a long time, and when we finally got someone on the phone, they insisted that the bus arrived and left on time. We’ve called back several times since then, asking for a refund, and the people we have spoken to have either been confused/unknowledgeable or rude. They keep telling us that the bus was on time and that it was our fault for missing it. There’s something getting lost in translation here. Again, on our end, we never saw the bus and the app suggested that it had left before our agreed departure time. Above all else, everyone we’ve talked to has flatly refused to issue us a refund. Again, we never were able to get on the bus or use the services that we paid for. This is not right. Not sure who else we can speak to that can help us in this unfortunate situation.

Horrendously bad. Tldr; horrible app, horrible service, extremely late bus, don't ever use Long version: First bus was 3 hours late, had to cancel and get a different bus after 2 hours or waiting. Was not given credit, given a refund, and told to buy a more expensive ticket. Was told I could change my return bus but could not through the app and office was closed at night. Was forced to cancel and get a voucher (not a refund). Tried to book new tickets with the voucher, app malfunctioned and charged me the full price. Tried to get a refund so I could use my voucher but was just given another voucher, leaving me with two vouchers (when I only needed to buy one more ticket). I called customer service to explain the situation and was told they couldn't do anything and referred me to an email address. When I emailed, I only got a stock email reply outlining their general policies.

BEWARE! DO NOT TAKE THIS BUS. This bus NEVER SHOWED UP. If I could give it zero stars ... I would! We called and asked where the bus was and they couldn’t locate where the bus was. The lady told us to call back five minutes later to let us know the status of the bus. We did that and she said at the bus I already left which was we are because we were there for over 30-40 minutes prior to as being at the bus stop we were there 15 minutes early. We were waiting with other people before they left when we were on the phone with a “representative” we tried to tell her that the bus never came and she was telling us that it did and when we ran into the people that we were waiting with at the bus stop, they were able to tell them and confirm that the bus never showed up, but the person that we were on the phone with was delusional enough to say that the bus came when it didn’t. They refused to give us a refund or to reschedule us for another bus that day and time. The lady was so rude and gave us a wrong name so that we could call to talk to a manager. She said her name was rona like coronavirus 🙄 please do not book with them. Despite the price, it’s not worth it. We will be disputing the charges.

Don’t waste your time. No one want listen at customer support. Driver using instruction which you not confirm during and even was not informed after for example at sections important information / luggage even at ticket have not inform you. After all you an idiot you not customer. You supposed to learn all site to be sure you match as normal pax if not found at site you must call them!!! Hey you I build and work a lot at travel industry and have lot connections and partners whole over the world. You did illegal thing and acting that not your responsibility inform critical cases and make sure customer get it! Call Centre weird! Agent lie me informing that payment for the seat already posted and refunded ( to be sure check triple- nothing). I will post case I have and will try to reach founders to inform about it. PS agent was look shady answering that they didn’t provide that info and I must use site that didn’t work properly with my browser at iPhone... Disappointment on a huge scale. Please don’t relay on this bus . It’s late for over an hour and plus gets canceled without notice. You can’t get in touch with the office on the phone that’s provided for customer service 24/7 and if you ask any of the other bus drivers they’ve got no clue, very rude and not very helpful. Poor service. I booked with FlixBus but they texted me on the wrong number that the bus I was taking would actually not be a FlixBus branded bus but a random bus. I didn’t receive the text and missed my bus. The rebooking cost for the next bus was triple the original booking because of late notice and no compensation was received. They even charged me 5 euro cancellation fee of the unbranded bus.

Simple and quick. This is a great app for searching and booking buses all over Europe. You don't need to print your ticket, and you have the option of adding a small amount to offset your carbon emissions. I'm really happy with this app.

Can not make payments bad customer service. I attempted a purchase with 2 Australian, 1 British and 1 Danish credit card. None worked. I then emailed the company and just got a automated response, this does not allow for me to make a purchase or feel valued as a potential customer.

Excellent service. Easy and quick to book through the app, comfortable and efficient service in well appointed coaches, free wifi. Some drivers don’t bother to make announcements in English, so you need to be aware. All services I have used have departed on time with minimal arrival delays.

Tony from Australia. The pick up points in both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando have no signage to indicate you are in the correct location for the bus causing anxiety for travelers. Also people sit anywhere in the bus even though you pay extra for specific seats ( which aren’t marked in the bus). Busses are nice drivers good just let yourself down in those important areas😔

More than 34. I'm completely devastated with this company. My bus from Montpellier with conexion to Lyon with Cologne as a final destination never came. Would be 15 hours my total trip. I wait more than 2 hours in Montpellier when my friend called to costumer service and they said that they changed me (without no communication) to a bus to Paris?!?! at 22:05. When the bus arrived, the driver had no idea what was happening. And he was very gentle calling the company that took a while to find out what's happened. I arrived at Paris 8 am and the bus to Cologne was just 10:30. For my surprise nobody sent to me a ticket and took a while talking all my frustation on facebook chat with the company when finally they gave me some answer. In the costumer service after more than 30 minutes in the line that I have pictures and all the proofs ,in Paris , they also said that they could nothing!!! (Now I am more than 24 hours in a super stressful situation. I will loose the presentation of friends in Cologne and I am have more than 10 hours inside a bus without shower, without sleep well (the bus was freezing during the night) Sounds a big drama but this is real life. Flixbus I want all my rights and never I will travel with this company! You are unresponsive, unrespectul and completely disorganised with your clients!

Swapped a 1st connection bus with a different company and didn't send any notification until after the bus had left- replacement bus operators didn't liaise with people waiting at the stop- result missed connections bus and hadto pay out 389 euro to arraigned train and lost 8 hours of holiday accommodation that cost us more- totally unsatisfactory communication or assistance. Simply told sorry, nothing they can do about it. This app was useless in this situation- help line was also useless

Terrible experience. We arrived at station on time and there are ONLY ONE BUS there, so we try to get on the bus. The driver closed the door and refuse to communicate with us. We cannot find our bus around (the station and the parking nearby) so we insist to ask him. He is rude to us and deny he is the one go to New York, but after we left, he immediately drive away and THERE ARE NO OTHER BUS IN THE STATION. We try to contact with customer service several times but nobody answer the phone. We have to wait 2 hours and rebook our trip.

From Krakow to Zakopane. Trip was a disaster!! Bus went past Zakopane and dropped us off I don’t know where!! We had to take a taxi back to Zakopane which cost us 150zlt. I would not recommend this FlixBus route!!!!

FlixBus. Trying to book a flix bus on the app is a serious mission! It always declines the payments and it takes ages to actually book a bus

Cheap trips but you get what you pay for. I’ve taken flixbus about four times now. Only one of them was a perfect trip. The worst was when I had to take two buses and changeover halfway and they cancelled the second bus while I was in the first bus which left me in the middle of no where. They also don’t have phone support which I personally don’t like in a company for emergency situations. What would’ve been an 8 hour journey turned into almost 24 hour journey. 1 Star for the one time I had a perfect bus ride. Would I recommend? Yes they’re great and cheap but if something goes wrong be prepared to lose a lot of time

Can’t get to seat selection. You have canceled my original booking so we lost the front seats that we paid for now I cannot select any seats I we want to sit as close to the front as possible.

Missed bus. I downloaded the app to s e if it would give me a better pick up location because the emailed ticket didn’t have a location. Once downloaded it had a bus time of arrival and it had been altered to arrive 30min late I checked the app maybe 15min before original arrival time still said 30min delay so I went to the bathroom and got ready for the bus went out waited for 20min wondering what’s going on I checked the app again and the arrival time had been reset to only 5min from original arrival so I had missed the bus

Easy to use. I like the app, very easy and simple to use while I’m in Europe. Even for cancelation and rebooking. It’s sooo easy!! You won’t regret to use while you travel to Europe.

Terrible service. I booked my round trip on this app and made payment but then it said the payment were failed. I requested for a refund but their CS agent could not do it for me. Highly NOT recommended app. If there were minus star, I would have given this app a -5 star.

Bad service!!!. Don't book with them. Bus went to another stop and they didn even bother to inform or refund us.

Booked seats and wifi?. Got on bus - given seats at booking did not apply - seats were taken by others - told to sit anywhere. NO WIFI AVAILABLE EITHER Bus was 1:30 hr late to destination… missed our connection🫤

FlixShit. FLIXBUS IS THE WORSE COMPANY EVER! I have experienced a bad trip every single time with them. Angry driver who shouted on me in front of the whole bus for being in the wrong seat, driver didnt let me in with a single backpack, wifi doesnt work, i payed and extra fee For a front seat and i couldnt seat there because the drivers would sleep there. Bus didnt pass, I almost missed a flight. Theres is no word to describe this. And specially all the drivers are so rude everytime its something rare. Wrote to flixbus, never received a response or refund. I would pursuit them in court if I could for everything that happened. I mean its crazy how bad they are it gets me deep deep inside.

Cheap prices and cheap service. Terrible bus service. Abandoned with 9 other passengers. We all had to buy tickets with a competitor. Nobody to speak to if there is a problem. Refund not a chance. Good luck if you use them.

One of many stolen luggage. I just went to some review and there is many persons that got rubbed from taking flixbus just like us and have no support. There is no secury when they open the luggage suit. anybody can just pick whatever they want and leave without anyone noticing. Sadly the ride was ok but keep your luggages with you or you might have a surprise at the arrival. I do not suggest it at all. At this point take the train it’s more expensive but rebuying your things is even more. Just take the train. Hey you! Yes you! Take the train! Oh yes I almost forgot..take the train. App has wrong bus times. Tried this service in Portugal, and I have no problem with busses being late, but when they keep switching times, that’s terrible service, will never use this again.

They left me stranded and wouldn’t refund my ticket. Flixbus left me stranded in the middle of nowhere at a gas station in Arizona. I waited for hours for my bus, which was supposed to be at 7pm, kept calling customer service who said it would come and the fourth time I called, 2 hours after the bus was supposed to come, they said it has been cancelled. I am a young woman and I was stranded at a gas station at 10 pm with no alternative transportation and in hysterics. They told me there was nothing they could do, and they wouldn’t even refund my ticket. I had to take a $300 cab ride to my destination in another city because my only other option was hitch hiking in the middle of the night. Flixbus wouldn’t help with the cost of alternative transportation after their bus had been cancelled hours after it was supposed to arrive, as left me with no other option. And they refused to even refund my bus ticket at all. A horrific experience that I have still received no compensation for. DO NOT USE THIS BUS SERVICE!!!

Worse service I've ever received. Left me stuck with nowhere to stay at 3am with nowhere to stay because the bus didn't arrive. Would not give a reasonable refund. Don't trust these people

Boycott this company. This company sucks. 0 care for their unsatisfied customers. Original booking at 0:30, bus only left at 4:45 without notice and no notification in the bus terminal. Was left waiting in a sketchy area for 4 hours in the middle of the night. Lost a night of sleep and 0 options for any refund. BOYCOTT

Excellent service. I have used FlixBus for six trips now. Very easy to locate bus stops in convenient locations. Departures on time and arrivals are close to schedule if not a tad earlier. Clean, comfortable buses.

Not happy … and I haven’t even used there service yet..😤. So booked tickets last week threw there system threw the app. Not sure what happend but I had meant to book for the weekend of 11/12 on the Saturday 11th but not realizing I had put Saturday the 4th. Not the 11th. Figured that out earlier today thinking no big deal.. any good company would understand the mix up and just rebook and fix the mix’s up. I’ve never used the sight and felt a little disoriented cause of the bright green everywhere. Don’t get me wrong it’s sharp and maybe a little to eye catching… so they wouldnt due anything to make it right or even be sympathetic on any level to the mix up…I left the phone conversation feeling not ok about how it was handled.. she gave me no explanation why they couldn’t fix it…all she said was you missed the date basically ur beat… it’s ur fault…..you would think me being a new costumer they would of at least explained why.. I wasnt tying to gouge a free seat or had already got my ride now trying to get my money back…a mistake was made I figured no big deal they would aim to please a new customer and the only reason I gave 2 stars is the prices are amazing and Canada is long overdue with a decent road bus worthy transportation…..

Work in progress. The app is good, but I logged in via Facebook on the website on pc. I had purchased a trip via this Facebook sign in page. But couldn't find where the reservation number was. Now I have a duplicate account on the phone.

Late bus. Map doesn’t track anything. We had to wait for an hour with no clue where bus was, whether it would arrive at all. Reaching customer service line is really difficult. Bad experience with them. Now I will proceed to delete the app

Extremely bad service STAY AWAY!. Took Paris-Barcelona bus. I am Actually writing this review as I ride because I am SO disappointed and dissatisfied at the service and the way we have been treated. FlixBus need SERIUS corrections on how they treat their clients. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Every item I am about to describe was FALSELY offered with the ticked I bought, And even playback though the audio system before departing UNBELIEVABLE: The most simple item you expect to charge your device, a USB port or an outlet was not available. So, NO WAY TO CHARGE YOUR Device. The bus station had to be accessed thru a park, rolling the baggage’s over mud and rock-like trails. The bus arrive and departed late. The bus driver and the backup where EXTREMELY impolite: telling passengers rudely and unnecessarily to shut up, menacing passenger that if they did take the trash out the could go down, mistreating while demanding documents and passport, etc...The bus toilet was “broken” because they didn’t want passengers to use it. Therefore, it was locked down, and several stops had to be done so the passengers could at least not explode throughout the trip. The driver stopped at the shittiest places he could, no stop had a coffee service, some where badly Illuminated, etc... on top of it, rushing passengers (about 50-80) to pee in less than 5minutes. the internet service didn’t work with 2 of 3 devices I had. Only an iPhone 6 did not exceed the quota before even connecting. Not to mention that the speed was embarrassing. The so named movie/entertainment selection was nowhere to be found. The bus temperature was extremely hot which made it almost impossible to sleep. Take a train or Choose another company.

Payment issues. I bought a ticket from Berlin to Prague and the app charged me 3 tines fir the same trip. So far I have not been able to get my money back.

Awful. Took a bus from brussels to Ghent. Bus was not able to take us on the journey before we even got out of Brussels. They promised to send us another bus, waited an hour. Never happened. Then they said they’d drop us at the train station. 2 hours later and we have not gotten to the station. It’s over an hour walk to the station, asked if they’d reimburse us for a taxi to the station so we could get on with our trip as we are going to miss our check in. They said they wouldn’t. So sat on the bus for another 40 minutes because they promised us that we’d be leaving shortly. We missed our whole evening in Ghent. We planned to stay in and cook dinner but now the groceries stores are closed and we’ll have to pay for fast food. We are extremely unhappy. I do not recommend this company to anyone trying to travel cheap, because if something goes wrong the rest of your trip is delayed/ruined/ and you do not get your money’s worth.

Denying a 8+ hour delay and 2 breakdowns. After filing for refund I got denied that it was only a one hour delay. For 2 break downs and visit to a mechanic and a police altercation. Impossible. Also previews reviews are right. There is no security too I noticed.

App can’t read my secure code password. Unable to complete purchase. And safari forces app to open. Need to uninstall app to purchase a ticket. Ridiculous

Awful bus line and app. Horrible app, horrible bus line. Our bus was delayed for over two hours and the app would not show any updates or information. We had to keep going to the information desk and other bus drivers to try and get updates or any kind of information and they were not helpful at all. We didn’t even know if we had time to run to the washroom. I wish I had spent a little more money on a train ticket, rather than wasted my day at the station.

Flixbus App. 5 Stars. Simple and user-friendly application.

[service médiocre]. Quelle mauvaise expérience de faire affaire avec FlixBus ce jour. Samedi passé, je partais de Paris à destination de Bruxelles avec mon billet de même que mes cartes d’identité, ma carte étudiante de Paris, photocopies de mon passeport et visa, permis de conduire canadien et international, etc. Sur la seule présentation de ma carte étudiante, j’ai entré dans l’autobus sans aucun problème. Toutefois, ce matin alors que je reprenais l’autobus à destination de Paris, on m’a sèchement et sans aucune explications refusé l’entrée sous prétexte que je n’avais pas de carte d’identité. Malgré toute ma politesse et la bonne foi dont j’ai fais preuve à l’égard du conducteur, j’ai été reçu par un homme extrêmement bête et incompréhensif. J’avais bien en main une quantité de pièces d’identité suffisante pour entrer. Hélas, on m’a littéralement rit au visage et me proposant d’aller bien me faire foutre. Un service pitoyable, désolant et minable de la part du chauffeur. C’était la première et la dernière fois.

Flix bus Europe...most unreliable and bus doesn’t come!!!. We booked our bus from Brunico to Innsbruck. There were 2 stations marked where the bus goes to. We went to both stops before hand to check and not a sign or any information about flixbus...nothing! So we waited and waited and 1 hour later still no bus. Obviously we can’t wait at both stops listed so we chose one. The bus never came!!! Being late is one thing but not show up is not acceptable. If it lists 2 stops it should stop at both stops. This was the biggest waste of money and time lost on our travels. I would never recommend this or use this service ever again. Luckily we were able to buy a train ticket to get to our destination.

Good for travelling im Europe for cheap. Not too sure why there are so many negative reviews. I guess it’s way better when you take direct routes that aren’t in the rush hours. (Avoid having too many people on the bus.) My only complaints; -sometimes they’re late; (only once out of 5 trips) -Also the bus bathrooms are in terrible shape. (No toilet paper)

J’ai voyagé de Chalon sur Saône à l’aéroport durant la nuit et j’avais réservé et payé mon siège 3D J’ai demandé au chauffeur qui m’a dit”3e à gauche “ J’ai vu quelqu’un assis et j’ai donc demandé la place,et de me répondre” y a pas de place réservée asseyez-vous plus loin !” Ne devrait-il pas y avoir des cartons verts pour identifier les sièges réservés ? Le chauffeur n’aurait-il pas pu m’accompagner et faire déplacer le voyageur ? Pourquoi ai-je payé alors ?? Pour rien ! Je voulais être devant pour ne pas être malade et finalement j’étais bien plus loin. C’est dommage vraiment...

Got me through Europe!. Backpacked around Europe in 2016-2017. Aside from an unknown subcontracted bus from Zagreb to Dubrovnik, and payment problems from Naples to Rome- the line got me to seeing 36ish countries. Not bad when you consider 2 countries out of 36 had issues- app side. I've recommended the app to half a dozen friends who followed my footsteps around Europe. Hopefully FlixBus comes to Western Canada in the near future.

appallingly unreliable service. app seems ok, but flixbus cancelled my ticket 4 times over 3 days. the last cancellation was after the bus was to have departed and one woman told everyone else waiting that the bus had been cancelled. I had to help a guy from the UK who had no cell service to book an amtrak train. People were stranded and the next bus was 2 days later. All they offer is a refund or free change fee, no compensation for screwing their customers over last minute. Please bring back boltbus, don’t use flixbus, just awful!

Terrible Service. I bought a ticket to Ottawa from Toronto with this company. The bus was 1 hour and 20 minutes late. The driver did not give any explanation for the late arrival. The company website did not offer any further updates, nor did the app. The only way to contact the company is through a chat in the website. We waited outside in the Canadian winter for this terrible service from Flixbus. This is the first time I travel with this company and it will also be the last! In future I hope this company communicates better with customers about scheduling issues! Especially in countries with winter weather.

Very useful app.. We used this app extensively in Germany. Made our life easy getting from city to city. Will be using Flixbus more in the future.

Bad service. In main bus station it is fine you can easily find the bus. But for connection, it is the worst service I ever seen : my bus never came two times ! I had to wait more than 2 hours and another was kind enough to take me to my destination. NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Do not even bother. Despite having a reputation that “sometimes nothing goes wrong” at the very least, when something does go wrong they do not honour any of their passengers rights. They do not provide information and you can find yourself standing in the street for 3+ hours only to later be dropped at your destination in the middle of the night without the blink of an eye.

Horrible. Deux heures de retard, deux arrêts ajoutés alors qu'il s'agissait d'un bus direct, changement d'autobus ainsi que de chauffeur, jamais arrêté pour de l'eau ou autre malgré un long trajet, chauffeur ignorant une dame âgée voulant de l'aide pour sortir ses bagages, il n'aidait personne et laissait les client.es gérer les bagages seul.es, de plus il a manqué deux fois son chemin en faisant des manœuvres dangereuses, on a fait plein de détours une fois à la gare d'arrivée, odeur horrible dans l'autobus et l'air climatisé hautement élevé. Bref, à éviter.

Ad un certo punto il lavoro sulla strada non è stato lui a frenare questi sono i freni di emergenza, ha sorpreso tutti. Poi un altro giovane (guidatore a riposo) ci ha detto di non parlare troppo, era in grado di dormire, ma quando si è verificato l'incidente del freno non abbiamo commentato il conducente anche l'autista parlava più forte di mia moglie. Bene siamo usciti dall'autostrada, pieni di sventure è necessario aspettare un altro pilota, sarai migliore dell'altro. Toilette disgustosa, basta dalle 14:15 alle 14:40 non ci importa che tu sia come ostaggi del tuo sistema di merda. Non sono soddisfatto ed è la prima e ultima volta che ti prendo il tuo servizio di trasporto e non ti consiglierò in particolare. Cliente insoddisfatto.

There’s a reason they have a 2.8 rating, you know the rule, if it’s not above a 3.5 it’s not worth being of service anymore. App user interface is poorly unexecuted and a struggle to use with no way to confirm that the bus driver actually stopped by other than the bus drivers word. Skips stops as well. I’d give a zero if I can don’t waste your time or money surprised they’re still in business here. Take it off the app store

Only use in Europe!. I used flixbus many times to travel around Europe. It was great--and the only reason I'm giving this company 2 stars. HOWEVER, Flixbus in the US is a different story. The prices are cheap, but the reliability of the departure times is terrible. Don't book a flixbus if you need to leave/get to somewhere at a certain time. It will 100% change multiple times before your trip. I tried taking flixbus 2 different times (Sacramento, CA to San Fran & San Diego to Las Vegas) and ended up having to scramble last minute for both trips because flixbus changed my trip so drastically, it was unfeasible to take their bus anymore. Very unhappy with this company and I'll be damned if I'll be f'd over a 3rd time by them.

[Untitled]. The app is convenient way to book travel services, view information related to the trip. The one issue I have with it is that each bus, which picks up and drops off in multiple locations along its route, has multiple journey combinations listed, which can get confusing. It would be easier to digest the information if each bus had its own listing, and subheadings of all of the places it will stop at listed under, with the associated time for that stop.

Not worth it. Terrible customer service. We were confused about where to go, but pulled up at 5:58 (the bus left at 6). We TALKED to the bus driver, said we were going, but had to buy a parking ticket right across the street from the same guy we just talked to. Mind you, this same man that told us okay. Acknowledged our bus. At 6:01, literally us CHASING the bus, he left. Unlike Uber, Lyft, any other transportation service, when you miss a ride you do not get anything back. They’ll keep your money for a service they didn’t provide, and won’t offer anything to you. I even called customer service seconds after it happened! Will definitely never use again and I suggest no one does 👍🏼

I rode 20+ times and continue to have a love hate relationship. Can’t complain about the prices but when the driver comes an hour late and proceeds to wait another 10 minutes on the phone, that gets me a little mad. App doesn’t work when the bus is late and I’ve never had a real signal for any bus I’ve taken. Half the time the bus is early and the drivers are respectful and sometimes they’re 30-80 minutes late leaving you in horrible weather conditions and still proceed to talk on the phone while driving the whole 3 hours back.

Great when on time!. These buses in Europe were extremely nice and comfortable! The drivers were very nice and directions to the stops were descriptive. I’m only putting 4 stars because my family and I were waiting for our connecting bus and it was an hour late. It was already delayed by a half hour (which they notified us) but we were worried they weren’t coming after it was an hour after the delayed time. I suggest the company notifying us again if they are still late. But other than that it was smoothe sailing. I also hope you guys have busses throughout Canada and the US.

Bad refund service. They messed up on my trip; I payed for a round trip with 2 different dates yet it somehow changed to the same day and similar time (no way I can take a bus from SD to LA at 9:05 PM and then a bus from LA to SD at 9:25 PM the same day). I tried issuing a refund yet as a new user I wasn’t made aware that they only do vouchers so I had to cancel one part of my trip and order again, I payed debit again instead of using the voucher provided as I wasn’t informed of it at the time! Now I have a voucher and don’t think I’m ever going to need to use Flixbus again (so I wasted money). When they give you the option to request a refund it should be made clear that you’re not getting your money back!

Worst customer service of all time. Worst experience I have had with any company ever. If there’s one company that doesn’t care about it’s customers or keeping them it’s Flixbus. Don’t expect any help when your bus is inevitably delayed or if you need a refund. Rudest and most condescending customer service reps I have ever talked to. Bus was delayed and then suddenly changed, I guess they expected everyone to sit at the bus stop for an hour and a half and hope it comes earlier? Super short, and rude response from customer service, they definitely don’t care if you don’t want to use their business anymore or about any customers at all. Not even a recommendation for another bus or another route. Take a train, take a car, take a boat, take a horse before you take Flixbus

Can it be anymore confusing!. I can read and comprehend very well. As I’m trying to find Corredor C I am looking for where it says long-haul buses. But there are no signs that says long-haul buses so I keep walking. When I get the Corredor C I stand and I look and I don’t see anything but tour buses. When I ask one of the bus drivers where should I stand for my bus he looks around and tells me across the street. I cross the street and wait but this is where people who are leaving to go to their hotels should stay in. I finally find a worker who had to ask another worker where should I be waiting. He tells me to keep walking. As I keep walking that’s when I see my bus roll away. Then they wanted to charge $10 to rebook.

Worked well!. After seeing some of the negative reviews I was skeptical. But, FlixBus was much cheaper than Greyhound or MegaBus for my trip, so I gave it a shot. It was hard to figure out where the bus stop was from my ticket, but if you go to the “find a stop” section of the app, and search your stop, you will be able to find an address to put into apple or google maps. Once I had the address, finding the stop was easy and the bus arrived right on time. Be warned that you might not get a notification exactly when the bus arrives, so you have to be outside looking for the bus. The driver was very friendly and the bus was comfortable. The bus also arrived to our destination on time. It was everything a bus service should be. I have only taken one trip with FlixBus so far, so I will update this review if needed.

Don’t rely on app for information it is supposed to provide. Flixbus today showed up late to huge crowds of people in Geneva today. It was completely unclear to me and my five guests that the bus was s flixbus because it was green and didn’t say flixbus. There was zero information on the app, including any indication that the bus had arrived. The app could not track the bus. Customer service is nonexistent with this company. The representative was condescending and rude. I was forced to rebook at s much higher expense. Zero courtesy. I had hoped the representative would just rebook us on the next bus as a courtesy considering all of the confusion. I’m terribly disappointed, as were my guests. This is an example of how not to treat customers.

never again!. your attitude is called nothing but scam! I booked a trip Kyiv-Warsaw 10 days ahead. 2 days after booking, I started receiving e-mails with changes in journey: 10 hours shift in schedule, change of my seat (I additionally paid for choosing a seat while making reservation). Final point was the 5-th email in 2 days where they just moved one of my seats in a bus and STOLEN another one (I paid for two seats for myself, for additional luggage AND for CHOOSING a seat🤣). their phone line is impossible to reach and after cancellation I only managed to get back less than 40% of what I paid for (~150$ total). GUYS, don’t trust them! unreliable, irresponsible, SCAMMERS

Messed up. My bus was supposed to leave at 11:00. About 10:00 that morning I got an email that the bus is delayed and will leave at 11:25. The ticket I’m the app also had 11:00 crossed out and now said 11:25 so I changed all my plans accordingly. When I arrived at the stop at 11:15 the bus was already gone and the ticket now said it leaves at 10:55! So it said it was leaving late but then actually left early leaving myself and several others stranded. I gave two stars because when I called customer service (took about 20 mins to find a phone number) they refunded my ticket and booked me on a later bus for the cheaper price of the earlier ticket.

Poor customer service. The Flixbus bus app does not currently have a log in, which is not ideal when traveling. I accidentally booked a trip for the wrong day, and Flixbus does not allow you to simply rebook. I called customer service and was told to cancel the booking (for a fee per ticket) and rebook the right trip. I did this, and only after did I learn a voucher is issued for cancellations INSTEAD of a return. Now I have a voucher I am unable to use, as I don't live in Europe, because I was given poor info by customer service. Additionally, the first bus I took had a restroom with no supplies and the second bus had a leak which spilled over the left side of the bus. There are other buses in Europe, use those instead of Flixbus.

Please do not use them. TLDR: they lie to your face and are unprofessional. Avoid them like the plague. On evening of Thanksgiving the bus left two hours early without notifying me. The first time I called their helpline, the guy said that the bus was little late and that I should wait a couple of minutes. (He was lying for reasons I would never know) The second time I called them he told me that the bus left without me. Asked me to arrange alternate Transport which will be refunded. By this time the last bus has left for the day. Then either i had a call drop or he dropped the line on my face. Third time I called, the service agent straight up challenged me that the bus was on time and i was lying. The nerves on these guys. I finally found a greyhound leaving from a nearby city and had a friend drive me to that neighboring city. Once I asked for a refund, they are now showing me new terms and conditions that i wasn't told when I first booked alternate Transport. This is a company of liars and cheat. I'd be very happy the day they are forced to close up shop. Please avoid them like the plague.

Absolute Dumpster Fire. This is the first travel company that has made me consider hitchhiking as a better option. I think a series of horses stationed at regular 50-mile intervals would be a simpler solution than dealing with theses renobs. After 2 hours of waiting for my bus, I was actively looking for strangers with candy in the hopes that a kidnapping might actually get me closer to my final destination. I was told directly by one of their contracted bus drivers that “if less than 3 people are at a stop, sometimes they will skip the stop all together.” I will probably just take a cargo ship next time; sure it will take 2 weeks, but at least I will get there.

Worst customer service. The buses are usually very late and delayed often I had to wait for 6 hours one time for a bus from Los Angeles to San Jose. They don’t even have the courtesy to inform about these delays. And another time the driver stopped the bus for 20 minutes at rest stop and started the bus around within 18 minutes by which I missed that bus oh btw even that day the bus started late by 1.5 hours. The driver wanted to catch up and started the bus earlier than she said she would. When the customer service is called about this they totally always defend the driver. They won’t even give you the courtesy of the next bus and behave like total imbeciles. They shame you and talk like you owe them. Worst of all these customer service is always busy or no one takes the calls. Shame on FlixBus.

App not very useful on day of departure.. 1. The feature ‘See where your bus’ is’ couldn’t locate a signal on both my departure and return trips. 2. Notifications for bus delays due to the 40 minutes it takes to load and secure a passenger in a wheelchair should be sent out right away and posted in your app. I shouldn’t be receiving notifications of those kinds of delays at the very time my bus is scheduled to pick me. You don’t have bus stations and most of your pick-up points are empty lots or curbside on street. Not the most comfortable places to wait for an hour. And the only way to get information is through your app.

Driver Sam Johnson. 1st of all he was not a good driver. He was condescending to the passengers and because he was the driver who brought me to Dallas I prayed that he would not be the one who drove me back to Houston. Well he was supposed to be but because I didn’t want to put my carry on under the bus he reported me to Flix as an uncooperative passenger and refused to let me ride. Told me he had power and I had a bad attitude. Mr. Johnson was rude and unprofessional and his customer service needs help. I will probably not travel Flix again and he is the reason why. I had high expectations for this company and my friends and I were looking forward to using it to travel back and forth between Houston and Dallas.

Good app rude drivers/poor service. The price is cheap and it’s so easy to book a trip. However, the drivers are soooo rude. It was my first time using this service and it might be the last time. My first bus was running late and I didn’t get a notification. Also, other people waiting received different messages such as “delayed” or the bus had “departed 20 mins ago.” Everyone waiting was so confused. The bus arrived 25mins late. Assigned sitting is a joke you can sit anywhere. For my returned trip I ended up missing my bus due to a rude FlixBus driver headed to Vegas instead of PHX. There is no number to call or office which is stupid if you have questions or concerns. Luckily I found a different bus service that was super sweet and accommodating and helped me get home.

Terrible. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to leave one for FlixBus. Despite being a loyal customer for over three years, I have consistently encountered bad customer service. Recently, I've been unable to book because the app/website stopped accepting my payments. The drivers are often rude and unhelpful, and it's nearly impossible to get in touch with someone who can actually assist me over the phone. While the service can be convenient when it works, that's hardly ever the case. In fact, over the years, the service has only gotten worse and prices have increased. Overall, I cannot recommend FlixBus due to its poor customer service and deteriorating quality of service.

They got it figured out finally. I’ve been taking this bus for a year to go see my gf and at first it was constantly late and not that much better than a greyhound, but lately they get to the stop at the right time ready to go and the bus drivers are efficient. Not the most friendly but I don’t expect them to get paid enough to care too much ahah. Definitely know where the stop is and if it’s your first time using the bus get there early. Overall for the price it’s awesome and I’ve been able to see my gf often thanks to them.

Do not use this service!- 0 stars. 1- I used this service several times. But, they have very long delays for 3 last services! So, goodbye Flixbus! Be careful, they sent the driver in advance to avoid further complaints and the bus would come 3 hours late. So, because you have already checked in, you cannot ask for compensation! They know their problems and try to band all rights from customers! I was loosing my plane because of their long delay. Therefore, I decided to take a train and I did not use the service. Later, I sent several emails including the departure and arrival time from this application but they did not care! 2- The prices from web is usually cheaper than this application. So, do not buy tickets from this App.

Good + Suggestion. Actually it is a good service and it is cheap just a suggestion that should be taken into account if the seats in front are not going to be able to be used due to prevention rules against covid-19 they do not have them available to reserve when you buy your tickets in the app because the People end up sitting in the positions that other people have reserved and paid for and a conflict is generated. I hope they improve it.

Trying to input phone number. It is evident that this app wasn’t designed for the United States. It is impossible to put my phone number in case there were problems. I’ve had so many episodes where buses were cancelled or didn’t come at all and I had to rebook. I was on a bus once headed to California and the bus got stuck in the snow and they sent another bus to take us back where we started from. I was stranded by FlixBus in the snow in Las Vegas. So please fix the app for the US because some of us depend on these buses to get home for family emergencies then end up stranded due to no communication from FlixBus. Our lives depend on it. I’m a senior citizen and my life depends on communication due to being handicapped.

FlixBus 95% Late. FlixBus from Oakland To Sac 95% of the time. 45 mins late usually. The App to track never is updated. The app will read oops no signal check back with them. Because it’s the cheapest way to travel from Oakland to Sac I use. But if you are business always go with Amtrak. Amtrak has only failed me once. FlixBus will have you waiting and you will loose time & money. FlixBus needs App improvement to track the busses location With time. You get what you pay for with FlixBus.

Zero Stars for Customer Service. I realized one of my bags was left on the bus. Went back within 30 minutes but the bus was gone. Reported this to Flix within 45 minutes. Used the chat function numerous times and no one knew anything about policies/procedures. They simply said to report it. Zero communication was allowed with Lost & found, and that department wanted TWO WEEKS to reply. This could have been solved same day if they communicated with their drivers. Instead I waited two weeks to learn what I already knew. Flix lost my bag. Terrible experience and customer service was worse than the bag loss itself. No compensation no responsibility taken, just standard boilerplate “we regret to inform you” template. Strongly do NOT RECOMMEND

Excellent Service. I was very skeptical of using FlixBus because of all of the bad reviews that I saw. However, as a first time user, I had an excellent experience. Booked a round trip from NY to Washington DC and within both trips drivers were very punctual and professional. We were supposed to depart at 7:00 AM, and departed exactly at 7, no delays or anything. The buses were clean and we were provided garbage bags. We arrived to our destination around the same time we were supposed to (Mind you, traffic matters). Overral, will recommend FlixBus to anyone.

Very clean busses, reasonable rates, comfy ride. Our driver Joey is very upbeat, informative and pleasant. We had a slight delay getting a handicapped person onto the bus. What impressed me the most was his professionalism during this little delay. Not once did he get irritated and because of that I believe the passengers remained calm as well. We are going to use Flix Bus more frequently, no stress, just an enjoyable ride! On a side note, I hope Flix Bus adds another bus because more and more people are realizing what a great value it is! Thanks!!!!!!

This bus is terrible.. Not only was my original bus (2pm Palm Springs to Los Angeles 3:35). This large, multi bus, multi country firm doesn’t even have a back up plan for when buses break down! This the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I had to wait 7 hours for the next bus to arrive?? Who plans this? Who is in charge of this two bit operation. Then, when I called customer set ice, I was on hold for 27 minutes before some no answer operator answers. This is also the loudest bus I’ve sat on. Worse than a city bus. The driver has no control of where people are sitting, the noise level or the cleanliness of this machine. I’m Very unsure this bus line will last long here with such terrible customer service! I want my full refund. You should be very very ashamed.

Website. Their app seems antiquated and not user friendly. Also, the stop locations indicated on their app are not always where the bus stops. Very confusing and frustrating as I have missed a bus because it was at a different location that I was not aware of. Other than that, I have had great experiences on my trips from AZ to CA. I travel this route every 2 weeks to be with my boyfriend, it is the half way point between where we each live. The bus drivers are always nice, the buses are clean and it is an inexpensive and convenient way to travel.

Be prepared to load your own bags. App works if you have wifi access. Our bus was late. When it arrived everyone piled their luggage into the area under the bus. No organization from the driver. When we figured this out we had to lift our baggage to a height above our heads to get our luggage in. We were traveling from overseas so heavy luggage was hard to lift. Some organization could have had bags loaded better. I don't know how people who got off at the next stop got their luggage from the bottom of the pile. Our bus was over an hour late in arrival. Pick up was Garmisch-Partenkirch to LHR. Bus did have wifi on it.

Bus left my daughter stranded. My daughter arrived 45 minutes early for her bus. She was pacing in the lot where they said pick up would be the entire time. As she was standing there, the bright green FlixBus drove right by the parking lot without even stopping. There is no phone number to call. Only a chat, which I started and which I then got cut off from after they finally answered me 20 minutes later while my daughter was sitting alone in the parking lot. I submitted an email complaint and still have not heard anything back. My poor daughter was stranded and I had to send a car for her. The customer service for this company is horrific. I should’ve known you get what you pay for I guess.

Traveling Flixbus. The App is only good for booking nothing else. There’s no way of tracing a trip, tracing a lost baggage, or the facility to change your destination. The app does not support tracing of lost luggage or live chat. There’s no way of contacting driver in case of leaving bag on board. No details of anything to do with Flixbus, can’t do last minute cancelation, screen freezing strangely enough. App does not support refund of payment into your account nor give you a voucher for a cancelled trip. Everything has to be logged in via internet filling in a form which you may or may not be lucky to get an answer from Flixbus. Customer Service is terrible and extremely rude and unhelpful. The organization is totally shambles. This app is only good to buy your ticket and nothing else.

No show and no refund.. What a disappointing experience. My husband and I booked 2 bus tickets after all the trains in Genova to Milan were full. We went to the bus location, saw multiple FlixBus buses go by, but not ours. We waited there for 2 hours until we decided to find another solution. We had to rent a car which was 300€ plus tolls. The worst part is when I spoke with their FlixBus’ customer service, they said that in their system we checked in to the bus (literally impossible) and that unless I had proof, they couldn’t give me a refund. When I showed them the rental car receipts, they doubled-down and refused a refund. My advice? Steer clear of this company as much as possible.

Getting the job done. Only ride Flix bus if you love roller coasters, bungee jumping, swimming with sharks,etc. If you love a good thrill and doing activities that get your blood and adrenaline pumping you may consider this the best bus ride you’ve ever been on. My driver decided to fly out of Oakland pass San Francisco like a bat out of hell. The speeding continue until Fresno. On the way I was awoken by the bus driver screaming obscenities because someone was driving on the wrong side of the road. Not more than 10 minutes later and car crashed into something. Do you think he slowed down for a second? Nope he continued to put the pedal to the metal. Now I’m wide awake and praying he slows down.

Can we give it a Zero star rating?. I used the app to book travel from Las Vegas to Anaheim. The bus never showed up. A later bus showed up and everyone that was waiting for the late bus was able to get on except us. The driver refused to let us on. It turns out he was supposed to be the driver of the earlier bus, but was rescheduled for some reason. We had to rent a car for $200 to get home. I don’t know if they will refund my my money for wasting my time and not offering a solution to my problem. I tried to call customer service - it’s someone from Europe - she was not helpful and would not allow me to speak to a supervisor. It is the worst experience with travel and customer service I have ever had. If they refund my money I may not give them bad reviews on every social media outlet I can think of.

Serious problems with seats selection. Nothing wrong with the app. However once you’re in your selected bus stop, the driver speaks a weird disclaimer to customers in which there’s no seat order. It’s like first come / first serve kind of thing. It doesn’t matter if you selected seat 4A in-app, driver will tell everyone forget about that and take whatever seat you want. The first time I saw that I felt it a bit weird. The second time I thought it was a coincidence. But… the third time? You’ve got to be kidding me! Several in between customers got problems with others using their previously purchased seats. Someone was sitting in my seat and when I used another one, a lady in Fort Myers told me I was in her seat. What an unnecessary mess!

NO AC on a very HOT DAY. Wow. This bus is the worst I have ever been into. They usually have good service but my last experience was horrible. The AC for the passengers were not working but the driver himself has AC and kept driving while we were left sweating, dehydrated and almost have heat stroke. There were even kids and elderly on the bus. Worst driver— very uneducated and doesn’t care about safety and well-being of passengers. How can you drive without AC and ventilation on this bus— on a very hot day? From 1pm-7pm. Worst experience of my life. The lady had to asked him to stop and open such ventilations. This is ridiculous. I hope this company get sued someday Also, this app doesn’t include you to book another seat beside you if you don’t want any seat mate. It’s only available on the website.

Completely unprofessional and unreliable. The bus is never on time. I am writing this review from a flix bus station in the middle of nowhere on a very cold night and my bus is 2 hrs late. It’s the 5th time it has happened and I finally have decided to give up on flixbus. The cheap prices are attractive specially for students but its not worth the time and inconvenience. There is not even a place to sit or any waiting area on the stations. Not recommended.

Avoid FlixBus- I would give it Zero stars. Bus changed to half an hour earlier but my ticket never showed the change and never received a call, text, or email about the change. I was stranded and luckily found a different bus service to take me two hours later. I went on chat with FlixBus to ask for a refund and the agent first argued with me that the time never changed (I uploaded proof that it had) then insisted that I was on the bus because I checked in (I didn’t check in and wasn’t on the bus - why would I spend thirty minutes arguing with him if I were on the bus? Makes no sense) and then finally I sent him proof that I had to purchase another ticket and he still wouldn’t give me a full refund. Avoid FlixBus if you can.

TARDINESS IS KEY. Oh my goodness. This bus is always, and I mean ALWAYS, late! I’m not sure if it’s the driver or if it’s the bus, but I took this bus 3 times and it has never been on time from pickup, or to destination. The app insists that you can track the bus, but it never works. I waited for the bus for TWO HOURS one time and it was raining and windy. Another time, we didn’t arrive to our destination until an hour after the expected arrival time listed. The third time, the bus was just delayed for an hour. I honestly don’t know how I always get so lucky for it to be delayed and for it to not arrive on time. Despite there not being any traffic, the bus still manages to arrive to the destination late. Similar to other reviews, I need to find a better bus.

Make sure you calculate time. Riding FlixBus is awesome and convenient but the app stated it would arrive at 6:15 am at the bus stop in Sacramento, Ca, USA. It didn’t arrive until 6:30 and we all loaded up by 6:45am then left. The app says we are supposed to arrive in San Francisco, Ca, USA by 8:15 am. We arrived at 9am. I think it’s important for the bus drivers to be on time per schedule because a lot of people have to go to work and such. But passengers, it’s important to calculate your time of when you need to get to your destination. This is my first time using FlixBus. I will use It again and would recommend it. It could have been the driver.

Why aren’t you tell your customers when there’s a bus stop change.. I’ve been taking the Fluxbus for the past two years from Palm Springs to LA, LA to Palm Springs. On today’s trip apparently the stop was changed from the front of the hospital to downtown Palm Springs. No one was notified of the stop change, it wasn’t on my ticket it wasn’t on the information and everyone getting off in Palm Springs were saying oh my gosh I have to call my pick up and tell him the new location. Your customer service has never really been very good.

Waste of time. First time rider, I have an appointment in Houston, after 2:30p, wanted to catch a bus from Dallas to Houston within a reasonable time. So I booked like a 9 something in the morning trip, this was done a week in advance. So they hit two days later talking about cancellation due to operational issues and hit me with a much earlier time. A 7:30a departure... I took it, although it would interfere with my overnight work schedule cause I work overnight, I ended up clocking out early, made it home, fathered my belongings, then I tap the icon to see where my bus is, there’s a 2 hour delay now... bus supposedly won’t depart from Dallas until 9:40a and I’m so over it. I rather deal with mega bus if this is what I have to expect.

I like it but some suggestions. Love the app. Super helpful and easy to use. If I could suggest one thing it would be to have total round trip price for all the cities in the search section. I am a exchange student and don’t necessary know how far each city is. Having the price next to the city would attract me to explore that city if it was a reasonable price even though it wasn’t my top choice. I am trying to book tickets for a day trip or weekend and I have to click on every city to get a price. Having this information would save me a lot of time and lead me to buy more tickets.

Cancelled our tickets without ever notifying us. Awful Company.. The app works fine. However, do not under any circumstances book any trips with this terrible company. We woke up at 3:30am to prepare for our long bus journey from Chamonix and waited in the cold for almost an hour before I finally called the company and was told our bus was actually cancelled. I was never notified of this cancellation and was not offered any compensation beyond a refund despite emphasizing the significant financial damage my party of several people would be taking due to this. Some other people were also waiting at the station with us and were equally blindsided. I will certainly never use this company again and I heavily advise everyone else to avoid it.

10/10 would recommend. On August 12, my family boarded FlixBus #97 (12:35pm) for our ride from Portland, ME to New York, NY. Our service was highly satisfactory and our driver went above and beyond to ensure a smooth ride. My daughter gets heavy motion sickness so he made sure to get us seats in the front and followed COVID regulations by sanitizing every passenger’s hands. We will be using FlixBus’s service again. 10/10 would highly recommend.

This is a review of the app, not the service.. FlixBus as a service is average. I try to avoid taking buses whenever possible. I’m currently on a bus from LA to Palm Springs because it was really the best option available (I can’t drive). We’re running with a 30 minute delay due to traffic. The service is fine. The app however is great. I’m a user experience designer and I’m really impressed. The app updated to reflect the delays, and displayed all necessary information in a nice, clear way. It does everything an app like this should. So, great job!

Credit where it is due. So far for the past two times that I have used them, they have been early which is always a good thing. And It’s affordable. Unfortunately the driver of one of the busses was smoking a cigarette while inside the bus but at the very least exhaling outside the window before the bus took off or anyone was inside. You’ll always have those guys. At least I’m getting where I’m going lol. They also had a guy walking around at the NYC stop showing people where to go for their respective busses since they all look the same and are here all at once.
