Neecee. I’ve been using this app along with Words with Friends and it worked well and was pretty easy to use snd reliable. HOWEVER, we just had an update and its not for the better. It creates words the board says are not usable, and I don’t mean occasionally. It happens all the time. VERRY DISAPPOINTING. Whatever you did you need to correct. I’ve even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. The problem is still there. To anyone considering this I would wait till you see if there has been improvements made. Its one thing to happen occasionally, but this happens at least a dozen times a day when I'm playing. I keep active with about 30 + people. So Please fix the problem. I’m not usually a complainer. Thanks

Slow Keeping Up. I really do like this app a lot BUT the developers are slow in keeping it updated when WWF adds new features. WWF just added Tile Styles but the different styles will not show up when you import your screen shot in the app. So you cannot have any tile styles besides the classic style if you want to use this app while playing WWF. Please keep up!!!

Word breaker cheat. I’m adding to the review I sent you that I didn’t get an answer to. Word breaker now does not work at all. It will not import the puzzle in its current form but in a form that had fewer answers on the same game. I tried deleting and re-downloading it and also got rid of all the photos in my photo file except the one I wanted imported and it’s still imports the old version of the current game. Do I just delete it permanently?I loved this App for the first one and a half weeks I had it. Then the craziness started. When I used the photo icon to capture the game bd. I got a message that they couldn’t recognize a letter, showed me the alphabet and asked me to choose the correct letter. The square shown was the DW square. There is no DW in the alphabet. This has continued. Frustrating and not fixable on my end. Still doing the same thing a week later.

Buggy. en it works, most of the time, it is great. Recently it has been quite buggy. Misreads tiles, giving me a blank I don’t have, going back an moving one or more tiles around is the workaround. Tells me there are no words, when there are clearly at least three obvious words that would work on the board.

Ad displaying a black screen that won’t close. I love this app. I’ve been using it for years and recommend it often. I use the free version and I don’t mind ads too much. However when the “ad” just opens a black screen that cannot be closed it is very aggravating. Kind of difficult to use the app when you cannot aces it.

Words breaker review. This is mostly a great app, however there are a couple of bothersome glitches. 1) too many ads. I know ads are needed,but maybe they could be reduced a bit. 2) The WWF solo challenge has new boards that wordd breaker doesn’t recognize. Hoping there can be an upgrade to mitigate that issue.

Shamefully exceptional. It's almost embarrassing to win so many games. I like the way the app is set up so that I can choose any word that I want for the strategy I'm after. I don't want to win all of the games. Sometimes I like to set up my opponent so they can get higher scores. This app allows me to be very flexible. I had used another app before, but I would not turn back and use another one after using this one.

Love the App!. I gave four stars because I use this app with my iPhone X numerous times a day and the letters are so tiny that I have a hard time seeing them and often get the wrong ones (yes, I have my glasses on!). Developers, Please consider enlarging the letters!

Used to work. Used to work great until the ‘update’ to show the new features. Continue button is grayed out, ever finished the tutorial showing the Game Mode, in a never ending loop. No close box. App is completely dead.

Blank screen. Recently having trouble with the screen not opening. When trying to open it will be completely black. I’ve tried reinstalling but it hasn’t changed this from happening regularly. Very frustrating.

Only needs one improvement. A very useful tool for getting great scores, but there ought to be an option that automatically uses the last screen capture and processes it when switching to the app.

Must set permissions to all photos in app portion of IOS settings to get import screenshot to work. Import screenshot feature repeatedly asks for access to photos and screenshots and is unable to find them. Made change to allow all picture selection in app permissions in iOs 14 settings and all is well!

Perfect.. I love this app. I didn’t try the screenshot function but the app does exactly what I want it to do. It allowed me to put tiles on the bored and see the best outcomes. The adds aren’t intrusive either. It’s a very user friendly app!!!

Good so far!. Found this when I realized my current app was going to stop working on IOS 11. There's one feature from the old app that I miss, the ability to sort by word length. Any chance the developers could add that?

1 search = 30 second ad. I can’t believe the ratings on this app. Each and every time I click “Search” there is a full 30 sec ad that I must sit through. First search - there”s an ad. Change a letter - another ad. Change another letter, another 30 sec. This is beyond acceptable. I have better things to do w my time than be click bait.

Great helper with word games. Recently it is not recognizing letters and leaving blanks where letters should be on iPhone ... very frustrating! :( please fix this problem! Since the latest update this is now my favorite helper. Easy to use and works well on both my kindle and iPhone . Many Thanks for fixing the bug!

UGH. Update a week ago and still won’t work on iPhone Scrabble. Use to be such an awesome tool to learn and play. It’s been months since it’s worked. So disappointed.... Update: Dear Developers, Please fix this app. I bought it and have used it so often with Scrabble on my IPhone. Now it’s dead in the water. Please respond and tell all of us what to expect. Thank you.

Works sometimes. In the last two months at certain times when I try to import my screenshot it doesn’t work. Ive been using this app for several years and now it’s not working properly. It usually starts working again the next day. Maybe they started only letting you use it so many times in one day and then they cut you off. I contacted support and got the usual delete and reinstall comment which doesn’t fix the problem. Why pay for this when it randomly works?!

Bill. Works great. The only problem I'm having is definitions is not working. Messages says I do not have a Internet connection and has timed out. I do have a working internet connection. Tried reloading the app no help. Any ideas.

Freezing issue. Lately, Word Breaker has begun to freeze in the middle of entering letters and even at the beginning. I keep tapping til it finally lets me enter letters… then the search button gets stuck. Is there an update coming up??

Corrupted App. The BIGGEST issue I have with this App,,, is that when you take a screenshot and do the import,, it all too often imports the WRONG game over & over again . There is NOT enough updated oversight being done to address this ridiculous occurrence !

Review. I don’t like your political correctness and I don’t like your hypocrisy of saying some words are recognized as legitimate options while others aren’t. Once you started doing that any combination of letters, if you’re going to be consistent, has to be acceptable.

Too many ads !!!. I thought there was a way to pay for This app so that there were no ads which drive me crazy!! Thanks for the response - I was able to follow your advice and remove the ads!

Not worth paying for. They advertise that this app works with Scrabble. Not being one to sit through endless advertisements I purchased both this program and EA Scrabble. Don’t waste your money if you purchased both Word Breaker and Scrabble to avoid the mind numbing advertisements. If you enjoy all the advertisements then the free version of Word Breaker and Words With Friends 2 works great.

Too many really. There are way too many really long and loud ad pop-ups. Even when my iPhone is set to silent mode, if an ad pops-up it can be extremely loud. I was playing in a large waiting room with about 50 people in it, and an adult popped-up with a little gut screaming. It sounded like a child was getting molested, everyone looked at me very strangely and gave me dirty looks, lol. Just too many long ads now, it used to be much better. I will be switching to a different app.

Unable to add languages. I have an old version of this app and I’m not able to add Spanish, I only have English, French and Dutch. How can I add Spanish. When I try to download the new version it goes back to the one I have.

Word Helper!!!. This is a Great Help without REALLY CHEATING!! This is a word Helper. NOT like these New things out there where they want a “screenshot” of your game board, I guess enter your letters and A parentally it Does EVERYTHING... NO brains Required!! Heck, WHY Play?? That’s s REAL CHEATING ASSISTANT!! That’s just Crazy!! Guess it’s for someone Without A Conscience!!! I simply need a bit of info to get me into a new direction.

Great App. I have been using this app for a long time and it worked great on words with friends, then words with friends 2 came out and word breaker wouldn’t work. I contact customer service and there was an update the next day. Now Word Breaker works great with both versions of words with friends! Way to go Word Breaker !!!!!

Excellent App. This app has been amazing the two years I’ve used it but today it asked to open my Facebook messenger and when I agreed it did just that, opened my Facebook messenger app, so I deleted both the Facebook messenger and word breaker app. I felt like I was getting hacked. I have an iPhone 8 Plus.

So great. Love this app. So easy to use and useful. When Words With Friends upgraded to Words2 I really missed having this app work for me. I thought I’d give them time to upgrade but found that they had already done that! Yay for them! Under the up arrow/settings/general settings you can choose which version you are playing. Thank You

Was a great app. But in the last week I constantly get that it doesn’t recognize tiles and most times it has two tiles. When you press the correct tile(s) it then leaves a tile missing and doesn’t have the correct tiles. I have tried deleting app and reloading and it still doesn’t help. 2 weeks ago I would have given this app 5 stars, but you need to fix this problem.

Ads. I was tricked into opting into ads. Beware if you get an onscreen message asking if you want to help make the game better. You can’t submit a review , but you will be told that your choice is taken.

Free Cheat. Word Breaker gets their well earned money from advertisers! I actually get great information on the products they show us online. It isn't right what other cheat apps do to us, they reel you in and pounce on you with ridiculous in app charges if you want to use them. They are counting how many "suckers" they can get to pay a few dollars in an impulse buy. Plus you know what? Most of these low lifes also get advertising dollars! Thank you Firecracker Software for Word Breaker!!!

Word breaker. I often find better (higher-scored) words than word breaker finds. I do not have a college education! Why are so many words not in this dictionary when they are commonly used? But I do love the way the program works by using a screen capture.

Need a paid app. I have been using the app for years. The ads weren’t a problem until recently. They pop up every couple of words. The most annoying ad is for a game I already have. Is there any way to get an ad free version??

Not for iPad.... Tried to import a photo from a zoomed in EA Scrabble game on iPad into this app, although I think it was expecting Scrabble on iPhone. I disabled the game on my iPhone so I could play on my iPad. Unfortunately this app doesn’t work right with iPad photos. Am pretty sure it is because both apps probably work right on iPhone. Really wish this worked on iPad. Wish the same was true with EA Scrabble game, wish thy had a iPad version that fits the screen.

Great app. Annoying ads. The app is great. If you want to double check words across lots of games - I use it for Wordscapes when I’m stuck - this is great. However you’ll want to spend $3. The ads come on with sound, take more than 30 seconds and are super intrusive. Note to the developers - please get rid of the ad for project makeover. That is the most offensive app and ad. Suggesting a game where the woman is crying and falling apart because she caught her boyfriend cheating - and then the whole point of the game is to pretty her up so she can be attractive to that loser - is so offensive to women on so many levels. Shame on you for accepting that ad. I almost deleted your app - even thought I do really like it - when I saw that.

Needs simplifying. Words with friends is a neat game. But the developers have tried to add too many enhancements; I don't need rewards shown by jumping boxes and prompts followed by the word great and exclamation points. I don't want to buy rewards or advantages and I don't want introductions to play worth someone new that I don't know; isn't this called words with FRIENDS? Just give us a simple game that we can play with friends, no annoying distractions!!!

Inconsistency in scoring. I have found in the word challenging when I come up with a particular point in the actual points given or not scored and found to be less than what is actually should be. In your explanation I find that it does not work and the system appears to cheat in order to not allow a player to advance.

Love it when I can get it to work..... Have used this program for years. Recently had it lock up in problem solver mode on a screen that wasn’t the one I had taken in a screen shot. Tried everything I could think of to import the screen from the game I was playing. Finally deleted the app then reinstalled from the App Store. Opened it and all I get is a rapidly recycling of screen showing the different functions. Hit “Continue”, nothing happens, just continues to cycle through function screen. Finally got it to stop cycling. Was able to “continue” to where it said I could import a new screen shot. Took one. Hit import button. It showed the screen for the game I was playing. Imported and deleted. Screen that was then shown is NOT the one from the game I was playing but one I had never seen before. Took a screen shot of the one from the game I was pjaying... etc., etc., etc. Cannot get the screen shot from the game I am playing to appear as the shot to be solved in problem solver mode. Thoroughly frustrated. Have now looked at Common Problems on author’s site... they do not apply.

Paid version is broken. UPDATE: Finally messaged customer support and after a brief conversation, and a few hours wait, the team found an obscure parental control setting that was preventing changes to the access. I’d have never found it by myself as I’ve never used parental control setting in my life. Anyway, thanks again for the help!

Horrible ads. The program works great, but it has incredibly annoying video ads that you cannot stop without killing the app. And they’re stupid ads too. I would rather pay a couple more bucks than have to kill the app all the time. Well my one star review got me support and they reminded me you can pay to remove the ends which I already did. I guess when you replace the phone it forgets. The weird thing is when I went to buy it it said you already bought it. Well why didn’t it know that already?

Hate the change. Have used this app for years & love it. It functions better than any others. Suddenly today it will not function unless I give access to my photos & notifications. It won’t let me use app without doing that. Are you kidding!!! No way will I do that. It is only an app for a game. Not something critical. Unless they make these changes optional, I will delete this app & find something else to use that is not so invasive.

Great app but.... The app itself works flawlessly. My only complaint is the choice of advertising. The same add for an app that lets you live stream to watch college age girls dance suggestively. This occurs nearly every time I check for a new play. I’m a happily married, 58 year old Christian man who does not care to participate even in watching the stupid add. I hope these soft porn promoters are not the only option they have for advertising and I sure would like to have alternate choices made available.

Great enhancements on board imports. I wrote a glowing review for these guys a while ago because they are head and shoulders above all of the other cheat programs. They’re the only one I have found where you can actually edit the board before it shows you the words (for example, if you wanted to see the best word you could make without your blank), and they’re also one of the few where they actually show you the words instead of showing you the location and making you pay for the actual word. Anyway, the thing I wanted to mention today was that they have recently added some great enhancements to their board import.. They recently added support for the fast play mode, they can handle an imported screen that has word radar on it, and it’s even smart enough to recognize whether you’re importing from WWF or WWF2 and adjusting accordingly.

Loved until today. I have used the app for years and loved it until today. I was using it as usual when an ad popped on…but not the normal kind. Today’s add showed a nubile young woman giving sex to someone’s penis. She rubbed it between her boobs, then oral, then vaginal. I cannot believe they ever allowed such an ad to be used on this app. It makes no sense to me. I have two choices: delete this app or pay for a non ad version. What would you choose?

Best one. I’ve tried at least 5 other similar apps since 2015. This one beats them all. I’m surprised it’s still able to do the OCR without updating to the subsequent changes that Words has done to its graphics. If I could make changes it would be to show words that have the most tiles instead of points for a few rare instances. I would also make it easier to see what tiles are remaining. Thanks

Customizing Bonus tiles. This app works great, but there was a recent change in the word masters challenge where some word master games has a different bonus tile layout (triple letters, triple words, ect.). I wish this app would let us change the bonus tiles so we can make it match the in game bonus tiles to get the better words.

Worst ads ever. I cannot use this product. I get an ad from an app called Wish that I cannot close. This app becomes unusable because I can’t get back to it. I don’t know what they were thinking. Why would I use an app (Wish) that is so intrusive? Not great sales technique.

Screen import for iPad Pro 10.5 does not work!. When screen capturing from either the power & home buttons or via accessibility’s assistive touch option neither successfully transfers the WWF image to the WB board to be analyzed. Please fix. Thank you.

Not working after I give ads the flick. Twice in the past few days I’ve been unable to get rid of an ad and return to the game. I’ve had to delete and restore the app to get back to where I was. I can see why you need ads but can’t you regulate them so that they don’t permanently interfere with the game?

Out of date. This app has not been updated for a year or so. It’s about time!

Brain stimulator. This game is great to get you thinking. One you can put down and leave for a long time and go back to it when you are free. One you can take seriously or not depending on how you choose to play or utilise the variants.

Best. This is the best word app. Easy to use, very few ads and relatively straight forward. No guessing! Every word is given and it reads the tile letters correctly.

Good app but.... I have used this app and had no problems until recently. The app get hung up usually when I am in the screen to pick screenshot. The only way I can fix it is to delete the app and reinstall. I just updated to OS 10.0.2 and am not sure if the update has anything to do with the problem. Have already reinstalled three times☹️️

Not as good since last update. Worked real well 100% of the time with EA scrabble dictionary before last update. It now suggests incorrect words for EA from time to time - example "Di". 95% of the time it gives correct solutions and I am okay with that. I wonder if it is now geared more to WWF?

Best of its kind. If you're like me and want to cheat the NEW words with friends then this is the app for you. It's quite tricky to figure out at first but eventually I figured it out. Click the arrow at the bottom right corner near the ghost and a board will come up where you can copy your game board and cheat away without screenshots!

Super Easy to Use. It's a great little cheat app. It works great. If for some reason there is a glitch or update to the word games, the makers of Wordbreaker are quick to answer support emails and usually have an update to match each word game. I'd definitely buy it again!

Review October 4, 2019. I find that some of the words that I use on wordbreaker are not accepted in the game and it is not accepted. So why is it there in the first place? Plus, I find easy words that I know are not in the wordbreaker column.

Great App but. The App works awesome for Words with Friends but when use screenshots for Words with Friends 2 the imported image shows no tiles. I hope this will be fixed in an update because I love using this App

Word Breaker. For over a week now when you select to go back to WWF2 the game is closed and you have to reload the game all over again. Definitely stalls the playing. 😢

Doesn't work with Scrabble. This app doesn't remotely import snaps from Scrabble correctly and hasn't for quite a few releases. The app used to work, but is unusable for Scrabble.

Helpful “But” recently!. Some game boards and rack contents are not copying to “word breaker” from words with friends App ios.

A good app for Scrabble. Luckily I came across this app. Works great. I was using a competitor EZ Descrambler and it is always screwing up thinking I'm playing Words with Friends and won't use the screenshot. I've noticed though that the app sometimes misses those 7 letter beauties which is a shame.

Really good, but.... Needs an update, urgently! The latest scrabble version (Jan 21) seems completely incompatible.

Arbitrary. There are more than a few letter combos that are not acceptable words in several games.

Mad. Please don’t put things on there and not give me a choice. This really is irritating

UI improvements?. The supposed “UI improvements” of this version are a step backwards. What used to require on press now requires 3. And they moved the import screenshot button to the opposite side of the screen. Love this app, but this makes for a frustrating experience.

Ads?. I’ve been using this app for years with no ads. I get a new phone and now there are ads jumping around!! Annoying!

Simple but works. You can throw all your other. This word search is all you need

This is the wizard of WWF Game Cheats!. This is a little tricky to learn to use, but follow the instructions exactly and you’ll get it quickly. I LOVE the Ghost mode which lays possible word moves right over your board. Wicked Cheating!

Includes WWF 2. I don’t like to cheat, but I’m not the greatest Scrabble player. I use Word Breaker when I need a hint. It’s solid and the suggestions are good. I’m glad they included WWF2 support.

Can’t import screenshots from challenges in scrabble go. This app can only import screenshots from the traditional board in Scrabble Go. I wanted it to help with the challenges that have different boards but it does not work for this purpose.

Easy to use, but still misses a few words that are legal in words with friends.. But i still use it almost exclusively. Also, some ads are way too long.

T’s and I’s & Random boards. Anyway we can use this app for random boards? Also, been having problems with the t’s being confused with i’s when transporting. Can an update fix this?

Good, but a little buggy on iPhone X. This app is a great tool! It’s a little buggy on iPhone X though. Screenshots come in with words shifted one row down, and the edit box with the tiles doesn’t stay open when I drag tiles to the board. These two issues make creating my board and adding the word my opponent played very annoying.

What happened??. Your app was such a great help! You changed the whole thing, now it’s useless to me. :-(

Review of word breaker. Almost EVERY TIME I use this app it has a game ‘pop up’ that it’s trying to sell or give me! It used to be once every 10 times I’d use it but now it’s almost constant! I try not to use it anymore! It’s a good tool but that constant ‘sales pitch’ got old QUICK! Thanks for your time!

Pornographic advertising?!. I’ve been using this app for years and the ads were never an issue. Typically they were for other games. Today I started getting pornographic videos in the ads, and that is not ok. I’m an adult and can deal with nudity but I imagine there are minors using this app as well.

Word search. Can’t seem to tap back & forth between this ap & word games like I could with my descrambler. Also, it doesn’t accept the entry of a blank.

Not as good. We keep getting lame tiles instead of coins and when are you going to ditch the hindsite? What does it matter once you've already played?! Not as good as it used to be. :(

Great app. Love the app but i will really make it out stand from the other apps if it had a Spanish option. Since no one have a Spanish version of this for words with friends

Awesome!. So easy! No strings! Love this app! Never had a single problem with it. I love the ease with which you go back and forth from WWF2 to this app.

Word Breaker is Tops. It’s a beautifully designed app, very dependable 99.9% and has a free or paid version. I love it with its top word suggestions and scores.

Works great. Helps find words. Easy to use. Keeps me in the game! Can be used with multiple versions of WWF. Easily set the WWF version you have in settings. I just switched to WWF2. It is fabulous.

Ad abuse. If you’re looking for an app that will totally abuse your time with long suffering ads, this is the app for you! It’s not enough they track you but you get one or two words and then you have to suffer through long ads before you can use it again. Great big giant balls this developer has.

Blank key. I can’t seem to lock in caps, i wish there was a blank key instead of typing in a ? Mark

Wants access to my photos. Has worked great for a year then suddenly won’t work unless I grant access to my photos. I deleted it.

Access to all photos. This app was working great but NOW it wants access to all photos, not just the most recent screen shot. Not sure whether it was downloading the most recent apple update or a new requirement in this app but i object to giving unnecessary access to All photos.

Love this app!!!. Good price for great app. And they don’t keep hitting you up after you’ve paid. I use it after I’ve played to see what I missed when I’m really stumped.

GREAT APP BUT CAREFUL WITH IN APP PURCHASE; Customer Support LACKING!. I paid for the No Ads Upgrade - TWICE! If you get a new device, lots of luck having your purchase transfer! No reply, etc, from Customer Support!!!

Great Help in WWF. I love this app and have been using it for years, but the past several months the Import Screenshot won’t work. I’ve tried changing settings in both games, uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail. I emailed the developers a few days ago and have not heard a word from them. Please HELP!

Update Went Too Far: Requires Access to ALL photos and MANDATORY Notifications. Wow. Latest update now FORCES users to give this app access to all photos. Also requires that Notifications be turned on. These two changes overstep the boundaries of what any app has the right to demand. (Offer it as an option, not a requirement.) I will find another app, rather than give in to this heavy handed tactic by wanna-be Big Brother.

STILL NO UPDATE TO NEWEST WORDS!. Was told several months ago that this app was getting an update to the newest words with friends 2, word dictionary. After several months still no update and they try to get you to use their other app, snap cheats, but that app has so many ads it is unbearable and way to expensive to buy, as in 3.99. Really?? Why not keep this app, which I already paid for, UP TO DATE! Boo, Hiss, Grrrr!

Stopped working. New update does not recognize my game or screen shot. Very disappointed. Hope they fix soon.

Does What's Needed Completely Free!!!. All the other apps make users pay for basic features. Word Breaker does not! Yes, there are ads, but I'd rather have that than in-app purchases!

Non-functional. I used to enjoy this, but suddenly it started showing me blank tiles on the board and advertisements. When it said get rid of the ads for $1.99, I paid $1.99 thinking it would also restore the functionality that it always had… Not so much it’s just the same blank tiles and no solutions. What’s the point? I can’t tell whether this is an intentional scam or just crappy coding.
