Great until the update. My 3 yo LOVES this app. It was the perfect way to get her to brush her teeth. She enjoyed unlocking new characters, dancing to the music while brushing and looking at her casts ticker collection afterward. I recommended this to all the parents I knew. And then I updated the app (to version 4.0.4) and EVERYTHING is gone. Her profile, her stickers and all the characters we unlocked. All gone. I contacted customer service and the response was to upgrade to version 4.0.4, the very version that caused the problem. Additionally, I was told I’d need to re scan (aka buy) each and every character again to be able to unlock them. I’m extremely disappointed and my 3 yo is devastated, refusing to brush with Mickey (the only character unlocked). I hope Disney and oral-B will be more cautious with their app updates from here on out.

This is amazing. I have been brushing for about 3 mounts now with the app and absolutely love it. I would also really appreciate it if they put one of my favorite characters, Pocahontas! Otherwise it is probably one of my fave apps on my I-pad. But there is one issue, I scanned my Elsa toothbrush and it gave me Anna. The next time I scanned I got Olaf. After a few more cries and trying to scan it finally gave me Elsa. I love this app and it has improved my brushing. A big shout out the oral-b for making this! Besides the issue that I talked about this app is amazing!

I wanted to love this app. I started to give the app 2 stars but then I realized, it does make my kid brush her teeth, so I’ll give 3. Nonetheless, she didn’t even use this app for 5 days and pictures started duplicating. I starting to feel bad for her because she was enjoying it so much, so I bought her the Frozen package for $3.99 vs purchasing a toothbrush or toothpaste we don’t need yet. She has used Anna once, Elsa once and Olaf once, each one was the same picture. And not even a cute picture. It’s a silhouette of a deer and it says “I grew up in nature”. She is now not looking forward to using it because she assumes it’s just going to be the same picture and it’s no longer exciting. Very disappointed.

Suggestions for Improvement. We love this app but there are just a few things that would make a huge difference in improvement. One thing is this app is not shareable between devices. For example, I have my phone and my husbands phone but we don’t have all the same characters because the apps are totally separate to our devices. It would be really nice to be able to share the account over multiple devices. Sometimes I might be out of town and it is so disappointing to my kids if I forget to hit the brush button for them because even though they brushed at home with dad it didn’t count toward their special “streak” reward on my phone. They LOVE the “streak” reward and getting “extra” stickers. Sometimes they brush and I have not been with them with the app and even if I change the calendar to give them credit for brushing it doesn’t keep their “streak” going. Other than those few things they absolutely love this app. They love the features in the background they can click on, the music, the stickers, the characters, the “streak” rewards and seeing their progress. It’s been great for our family in so many ways it would just be nice if they could make at minimum the account shareable over multiple devices at least for the parents’ sake. Thanks!

Frustrated. I read the reviews here even with not great rate I try to give it a chance! last thursday I download this App because My daughter saw a commercial in disney Jr. channel everything was working good until monday night she try to brush her teeth that evening and de app pop a message saying the she can’t brush her teeth because she already did it! That was not true i’m with her every morning and every night to help her brush her teeth!!! In the morning work perfect but in the evening do not let her brush her teeth with the same message is the 3 night in a row the she is crying and disappointment because she want the entire star and stickers!!! She keep telling my husband please Daddy fixed!! Even I sent and email disney interacting support team, they suppose to reach me in72 hours in the mean time what i told to my daughter!!!! 😡

Great potential, but poor execution. This app worked great for a while but after accumulating many characters, the app stopped scanning new ones. No matter how many times I try, I cannot get our new products to scan. You also cannot create an account to save your profile across devices, so when we purchase a new ipad in the near future we will lose all our characters and stickers. This app has great potential but it's clear they are unwilling to provide any support for the app after reading many reviews with similar complaints that go way back. It's really just a scam to sell more products. Oh, and be sure to check the "retired" products hidden in the FAQ's before buying new products because not all products will even scan.

This is a fun app...when it works.. I downloaded this app on a few of our devices (my iPhone 6, my husband’s iPhone 8 Plus, and my daughters old iPad). It worked on all 3 for a few months. I replaced my phone in the mean time and now have an iPhone XR...I try to open the app on it...it never gets past the opening screen. So I tried to open it on my daughter’s iPad today...it closed after the loading screen over and over. Another annoying issue with it is that I purchased one of the characters on my iPhone 6, but it did not transfer to any of our other devices. I’m not going to buy that character on each device. So I give it two stars because when it does actually load, it’s fun and my daughter loves it. And wants to brush her teeth more often just to use the app. But only two stars because it doesn’t work more than half the time🤨

Love it but Needs some work. My daughters love this app but there are a few things that need to be fixed. For one, my daughters keep creating new profiles that I have to delete. Two, in deleting the new profiles, I accidentally deleted one of their profiles because there is no confirmation for delete and there were tears. Many, many tears. She now has to start over after collecting 2 1/2 months worth of stickers to her account. Three, please make the profiles shareable between devices. It would make it so much easier when one phone is out of battery to be able to just use another device and not have to wait for a charge.

Great for brushing, one big flaw. Out 4yo doesn’t argue at toothbrush time anymore! App is easy to use, and he loves collecting the e-stickers in albums on the app. The music isn’t annoying. Babysitter downloaded it to her phone, too. One big flaw: We can’t scan my son’s Disney-branded toothbrush to “unlock” the character and it’s stickers. You pay more for the branded toothbrush heads, and using characters he likes — well, that was a big selling point for us. We’ve tried scanning his Dory toothbrush head a hundred times, following the instructions precisely, in different lighting, and the scan function just doesn’t work. Unless you want to pay extra AGAIN to unlock favorite character, don’t set up kid expectations that favorites will be available. Star Wars and Mickey/Minnie come free w app.

Used to be nice. I originally got this app years ago when it was first released and my son loved it. We had fun collecting all the pictures and my son was always happy to brush his teeth. I didn’t like how you ALWAYS had to scan. I had to keep old toothpaste tubes in order to keep those particular characters. We ended up obtaining all the pictures and then we stopped getting new ones. It became boring and then one day all of our pictures were gone. It was disappointing and we stopped using the app. Fast forward to today and the app doesn’t even open. It just stays on the loading screen. I’m not looking forward to actually opening the app and seeing all of my son’s progress is gone. I also have concerns about being able to open the app across multiple devices. I hope that it’s fixed but honestly I think my son is going to have to start all over.

Latest update broke it. Unhappy with last update. Like others have stated, the picture it uncovers is a timer with a wi-fi logo. My 4 yr old doesn’t like how it fails to create a picture while brushing, and now it seems you can’t even get a picture with any character in the app. Hopefully the next app update will fix this. Sooo much All of the stickers my child has earned aren’t there anymore. All we see is a timer with the Wifi logo. So, hopefully the next app update will be soon and will fix it!

Worked great, but now it’s buggy. My daughter loves this but after the last few updates, it’s full of bugs. We get the same picture reveal each time, day after day. We even bought new characters in case we’d seen all the stickers but even then we still get the same reveal over and over. Sometimes we randomly get a pixelated WiFi symbol and timer icon in the reveal which is clearly a glitch. Also the sound doesn’t work. I’ve tried restarting the app but no luck. I can only get it to come on by going into the sound setting within the app and turning off then back on every time we use the app. Please fix! We’d love to continue using and haven’t found any other app that compares.

Great concept, update glitches. I'm giving this a 2-star review because when the app works, I experience no issues and my son loves it! I haven't experienced the sticker issues others have expressed. My issue is that the app no longer works! It won't even open. I have deleted it and added it back. Still doesn't work. It will appear to open then I'll get a "connection lost" message and the option to retry or cancel. Retry NEVER works. I have tried to use wifi and date. It will not work on either. My son is so disappointed that this app doesn't work anymore. He is so motivated by the stickers and achievements. If you're going to make something for kids, make sure it is reliable and works!

Love the app but products won’t scan. Kids are obsessed with the app and earning their stickers. It definitely helps them brush longer and even got us buying Oral B products so they can unlock new sticker albums. However, we can’t get the app to recognize/scan the products to unlock the albums. Kids and parents are both frustrated, we’ve tried everything. I even checked on the Disney website that the images (Nemo & Dory) are still supported by app and they are. Also app failed to open 1 night and we’ve only been using it a few weeks. I was scared we would lose all stickers but thankfully it finally loaded after about 5 reboots. Please fix these glitches bc it really is great to get kids (and adults!) brushing longer and buying your products.

The best. This game helps you know how long to brush your teeth and when to stop and you can even have reminders so you know when to brush your teeth and it’s I wouldn’t use it for you grown-ups but it would be fun for your kids to enjoy brushing their teeth because it is so fun to see the to see thepicture that they get but I would recommend having an Oral-B toothbrush for it to be good but yeah so this is really fun game and once you get used to it, you’ll just be brushing two minutes every day and you can get I see some extra stickers sometimes and yeah, so I recommend this app to all of you people who have little kids who are not liking to brush your teeth to make it more fun for them and enjoyable for them to brush their teeth

Trying to restore purchases does nothing. Is there supposed to be sound? Because there is no sound at all but I noticed the music on/off button. I just got the update thinking that would bring on the sound but it didn’t so I thought maybe deleting and redownloading would reset to bring on the sound, still it didn’t. But now there is no history of the character or the streak or even my kid. I tried clicking restore purchase but it did absolutely nothing at all whatsoever. But then I realized there is no way to “sign in” so naturally meaning nothing was saved. Can you make a way to sign in so we can keep our kids history if the ap gets deleted

Needs bug fixes. At first this was a great incentive for my kids to brush their teeth- they still love it and get excited to use the timer. However, the toothbrush images almost never scan, so I have had to get images emailed from customer service multiple times to unlock the characters. Even more frustrating is that every time we use the timer it takes increasingly more tries to get the timer to work. The “sticker” is just a blue WiFi image for the first 4, 5, or more times my kids try to brush. If we are in a hurry we do not have time to try five or more times which leads to some tears or worse when they are disappointed not to get to use the timer. Also, lately I have to open the app, close it, then open it again for the sound to work. So many bugs and room for improvement. PLEASE make some updates!!

App is okay. I like the app! I really think it’s awesome it’s like perfect for my son it helps him brush better and longer but… when I use the app in the morning and then use it for the evening the same picture always shows up and sure enough it didn’t log his second round of brushing so therefore he only earns half of a star instead of a full star. It literally has happened like so many times. It’s a bit frustrating for both of us since he really like to get on streaks and then, “Surprise! Happy birthday!”…. the app didn’t count it. Isn’t it cute. Adorable in fact.

Big disappointment.. A few months ago I decided to download this app for my twin toddlers since teeth brushing time was always an issue. The app worked awesome! My kids loved it and actually looked forward to brushing their teeth. I recommended it to all of my friends. My husband downloaded it too so each kid could brush at the same time and pick their own character. After an update, my husband lost all the characters and everything was locked except Mickey. Luckily I still had everything so it wasn’t that big of a deal, they just took turns. However, often the app wouldn’t even load which resulted in teeth brushing protests. A few updates later, I lost all the characters too and everything was locked except Mickey which didn’t go over very well with my 4 year old daughter that was looking forward to Minnie that night. We even went through all the work to scan purchased items to unlock characters to appease our disappointed kids only to find everything gone again the following day - including my sons whole profile. With all the crashes and now losing all the characters, my kids don’t even want to use the app anymore. Such a bummer. We really loved the app but it’s not a lot of fun to keep having to recreate profiles and unlock things over and over again. Please fix this and give us all of our characters back. If it started that way it would have been fine but you can’t just take everything away when it was already there. My kids were so disappointed :(

Great tool for kids, minor flaws. Let me say that this app is amazing for getting me and my children to brush their teeth for at least two minutes. It doesn't matter how often I brush teeth it always seems like it's two minutes when it's only been 30 seconds. There are a few things they could fix, like it would be nice to have a user profile so that if you had to wipe your phone it would remember the stickers you had. And every once in a while the program does glitch and it will give you just a blank sticker instead of an actual sticker. Nonetheless I give it a full five stars because nobody else out there has an app that's as good as this one for brushing our teeth!!! Thanks!

Please update to make this app compatible with Xs! My kid doesn’t want to brush without the timer. So I literally almost regret buying this brand new phone because the app doesn’t work properly now. Honestly it wasn’t even something I thought about at the time of purchase, you tend to assume all your apps (especially one from Disney who has big bucks) will work. My son and I have made a ritual out of using this app as part of our morning routine and when it didn’t work yesterday he refused to brush his teeth. He’s 6. So today I deleted and reinstalled (after looking at the App Store and realizing my phone isn’t supported) to see if I could get anything. We were able to get the timer, but no sound. No stickers ( well, it was some WiFi symbol, my son looked at me and gave me a courtesy smile). All the purchases are lost and the restore button won’t work. Please, please Disney - if you are going to suggest to take my money (which I’m happy to pay for, if it helps my son develop these critical habits) and enter into my child’s morning routine, honor that. Maybe it’s a simple thing for you but not here at home to us. Update and remain compatible please!

What happened?. This app used to work well, except for a scanning feature that is not user friendly. But over the last several months, the music and sound haven’t worked. I’ve had to go into settings and turn it off and back on. And even then only half the sound worked. But now the sound isn’t working at all. Total silence. Stickers used to be revealed no problem. Then if your WiFi wasn’t spectacular you’d just reveal a “sticker” of an hour glass and WiFi lines. Now it’s been weeks since a sticker has shown up. Internet speed can be 200 mbps, still just the hour glass and WiFi lines. No actual stickers. This app would still be useful if they fixed it. But as it stands it’s now completely useless. No music, no brushing sounds, no stickers revealed. What’s the point? 2 stars only because it used to work.

Do not listen to bad reviews here is why. I am a kid and even I figured out how to use this app. If the toothbrush isn’t working, then scan the toothpaste that it comes with. It may take a few seconds, but I promise you it will work. My mom couldn’t get it to work for my little brother. I looked closely and noticed that there was a picture of two toothbrushes and a picture of a toothpaste. I tried scanning the toothpaste and it worked. After my mom finished brushing her teeth, she scanned the toothpaste and it worked! (You scan the character on the toothpaste) If you watch the Eh Bee Family, you made right life choices!!!!😊

Potential, but poor execution. The timer is fine, graphics are cute, my kids enjoy getting stickers. If it was advertised as just that, I’d probably give it another star. However, it is marketed as something that can integrate with Crest and Oral B products, where I can buy certain products, scan the product into the phone, and unlock new characters. I have tried several products and tried all the troubleshooting tips and have not been able to get a single character to scan! It’s incredibly frustrating to continue to buy these specific products only to disappoint my 4-year-old again! Additionally, there needs to be a family sharing capability. I leave for work before my kids get ready for school, so they brush with dad in the morning. Then he’s at work when they brush in the evening with my phone. I think having the multi day streaks is very motivating, so it would be great if the app was reflective of how often they actually brush.

Worked great until the update.... As many recent reviewers have indicated this app worked well until the major update to newest version. Kids enjoyed it and enjoyed collecting rewards or unlocking additional characters AND willingly brushed their teeth. My kids had a few years’ worth of products and characters built up. After the update we lost any progress, characters, etc. that we previously had and were left with just Mickey and bb8 with no option to restore. The scan feature to add new products frequently does not work; it took me over 15 minutes to add a new character toothbrush tonight, which I only accomplished through sheer perseverance, long after kids were already done brushing. Other products I have previously bought have not scanned in either - no error message, just plain does not work most of the time. Used to work just fine with no problem prior to update. Very frustrating because that’s basically the point of the app to buy the products, scan them in, and enjoy them. When that doesn’t work seems to be no point purchasing a licensed oral b product over something else. Please bring back the old version.

Almost Magical. My kid loves this app and everyone show it to is amazed at how kids will brush for 2 mins straight thanks to this engaging concept. Here are some ways I hope it improves. Scrap AR functionality. It’s just ok. Also, not many people will go to their tooth brushing app to play with this feature. Your resources are better off elsewhere like: - Adding more characters. Where is Moana?? It’s one of Disney’s most successful films ever… - Add more stickers. I can see this app getting the boot once a kid collects all the stickers they’re interested in. - Improve the scanning feature that unlocks new characters. Ironically, this feature is so janky and only intermittently works that it’s like pulling teeth. - More music. Different characters could have different songs that play. It would create more engagement. - Frozen has 200 stickers. Swiping endlessly to get to the stickers at the end of the sticker book is insanely cumbersome. Best of luck with the updates and thanks for considering my feedback!

Issues from the get-go 👎🏻. Downloaded the app and attempted to scan my son’s Ironman tooth brush. It never even worked. I tried 20+ times. Different angles, different distances away from the camera, put a solid sheet of paper behind the tooth brush. Nothing. He’s not really interested in Mickey, which is the only character available without scanning a purchased product - which we tried. He was really excited to see what happened when we scanned Ironman. Very disappointed. Update: just tried his Nemo tooth brush we purchased a few months ago. This one also did not work. The app is useless if a child can’t unlock the character they chose for their product. Unless they love Mickey Mouse, but even so, I can imagine with the one character it could get boring. But, hey, I wouldn’t know - we haven’t been able to use it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sound problems. I’ve been using this app for about 2 years. I have an iPhone 8. I’ve gone through frustration because I thought they had Winnie the Pooh characters, problems with long load times and scanning issues in the past. Now with this new update, the character selection screen is a lot better. They’ve added a new screen that lets you see how many times your child has brushed in 7 days and also 30 days. That’s only useful if you’re using the timer every time they brush (which we do brush, but don’t necessarily use the timer each time). I’m also happy to report that the long load times have disappeared. I’m still frustrated over the poor scanning feature. I’ve been trying to scan Cinderella for almost a year and still can’t get her to come up. I’m not willing to pay to unlock a character if I have the toothbrush right in front of me. I’ve also noticed recently that the sound has disappeared. I have to go into my child’s profile, hit the brush button and then pause when they get to the timer. Magically it turns on, but they miss the sound from the little video that plays before the timer starts so sometimes we have to go back to it. Please fix these issues. I like the app enough to use it each time, but these small issues make it difficult for me to want to use it every time.

A Amazing app. For this app I use it on my iPad and it was the best because even though I would never do it it would make me feel like it would be fine stuff so this app I would really recommend for your little kids or adults even you too so I really recommend this app so that’s why I gave it a five star because it’s a really good app I really liked it because you can choose your own characters but usually most of them you have to buy them which I didn’t write but it was fine and I use on my iPad but now I am using on my phone I have

Scam!. I’ve had this app for a few years. My daughters had all the characters downloaded because we had bought so many Oral B products. We lost it all when they did the update this year and every character became locked. I told my daughters that we would just buy more toothbrushes and toothpaste. I bought three toothbrushes today: Minnie, Belle, and Cinderella. Minnie scanned fine, no problems. When I scanned Cinderella it kept the character as Mickey. We already had Belle unlocked so I scanned Cinderella under her to see if it would change Belle to Cinderella. Well, it changed the one princess that we had to Mickey! Talk about mad...my children had a fit! Just like another person leaving a review my husband and I both had the app on our phones. I’ll be removing the app and just using the regular timer on my phone. I feel like they just did all this to get people to buy more of their products.

Really?! You can't be any character anymore.. So the recent update locked all of the characters. My son is 5. He had a bunch of different characters and picked the one he wanted depending on which one was his favorite that day. Now you can only be Mickey and you have to unlock everything else. Really Disney?! This went to our favorite brushing app to the worst. My 5 year old doesn't care about unlocking new characters. All he wants to do is brush his teeth. Does unlocking characters mean buying all new products with characters on them or brushing enough times to earn a new character? Well neither is happening. My sons likes creating new characters and has 3 different Mickey brushers that he rotates through. I'm not buying Disney products to unlock new brushers. Bad idea either way.

Works Ok, till you try to scan a new product.. This app comes with access to two characters, BB-8 and Mickey Mouse. It has worked great to cut down on the drama around brushing teeth (I have a 5 year old)... until last night, that is. I bought two new Oral B products online, the stages power electric tooth brush and a battery powered one for travel (we have a trip coming up). My son was VERY excited to scan them and get access to new characters. Well, the power toothbrush won’t scan (it is Nemo) and we’ve tried at least 20 times. The battery powered brush we got was BB-8 (I bought it online and didn’t get to pick the character) which also didn’t unlock any new characters because we already had access to BB-8. My son was devastated and refused to brush his teeth. It was awesome.

Great concept but gets annoying. The goal of the app is great and worth putting up with the incessant requests to leave feedback. It encourages 2mins of brushing which is all that really matters. However, many of the ‘two times per day’ rewards don’t show up (I.e. only half a star) causing my kids to feel let down or disappointed by their efforts. Fortunately recent fixed resolved the ‘pictures not showing in the background’ and the need to manually start the background music have been resolved. Hopefully, they’ll also remove the request to rate the app after every brush. Bottom line, use it to get the kids to brush a full 2 mins but be prepared for the app not to reward some successes.

Worst App. Clearly the developers of this app do not have children of their own. First of all, I refuse to buy 3000 dental products in order for my kids to be able to access all the different characters. Once you unlock one, you should have access to all in the group. For example, you can’t access Dash in the Incredibles without buying it. Smart way for these app developers to make money! We have had to download this app four times due to glitches when updates occur. Each time, we have lost data, and the kids are so upset that all of their progress is lost. Not only that, the scan feature RARELY works! My daughter just got a Spider Man toothbrush at the dentist, and it’s Oral B, but will it scan? Nope! When the app does work, about 40% of the time, the kids get this weird timer symbol instead of the promised sticker. If I were Disney, I would reconsider associating my brand with an a app of this mediocre quality.

Needs improvement, but does the job. My daughter is 2 and really loves this app. That being said, as an adult, there are definitely areas that need to be worked on. The sound is inconsistent, to put it simply. Most often, I have to go into the settings, turn the sound off and back on again, just to be able to hear it. And considering the noise is a huge part of the “reward,” to have to do it over and over is a bit frustrating. Even doing so, it drops out, a LOT. Also, my darling daughter who had no idea what Star Wars is, loves the Storm Trooper avatar. I paid the 99 cents but this only gives you the avatar. She has figured out the “AR mode” and fully expects there to be a Storm Trooper! We purchased Rey as well and her AR mode is also BB-8. Please please make our purchase more worthwhile and add more AR features!!! Otherwise this app is very effective and keeps my daughter interactive throughout brushing, which before was so difficult! So thank you developers because is has really helped for it's intended purpose: beautiful pearly whites for my munchkin!

Music Glitch. My daughter has been using this app for awhile now and before the most recent update I gladly would have given this app a 5 star rating. After the update however I'm being generous with 3 stars. I guess you could call it a combined average between my current opinion and original opinion. Since the most recent update whether she is using her Ariel toothbrush or Dory toothbrush we are only hearing sounds from, what I can only assume, Star Wars? Before as she was brushing it would play cute melodies from the movie connected with the toothbrush she was using. Now she doesn't even want to use the timer app half the time because she doesn't want to hear the noises. Hopefully this can be corrected soon because we really miss the music.

Kids love it, but I’m disappointed. First of all, let me say that my kids LOVE this app and it has made teeth brushing so much easier. HOWEVER, there are some big flaws with the app that I hope will be fixed. 1. It is REALLY difficult to scan products. I haven’t been able to get many products to scan, and a couple of the ones that did unlocked the wrong character (e.g., scanned a Belle toothbrush and unlocked Minnie). 2. The only ways to unlock new characters are to buy them for 0.99 or scan a product. This disappoints me because I feel like there should be a way for my kids to “earn” the characters after brushing their teeth consistently for a certain amount of time. I get around this by rewarding them with a new character myself after a set number of brushes, but I’m annoyed that I have to pay for it. 3. The app doesn’t work on my iPhone X. I can get picture but no sound. So I have to use my iPad. I really do love the concept of this app, but there are some huge issues with the execution.

Absolutely love it 💖. I decided to download this app for free to making brushing more fun. Each time I complete a 2 minute brushing session, I earn a new sticker, and I can also earn achievements for a good brushing. I always brush twice a day for 2 minutes with this magic timer app and my favorites are Rapunzel, Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, and Jasmine, can you add Snow White and Aurora to the princess collection? And I also want It’s a small world characters, stickers and brushing session please. Can you make those brushing products? Thanks.

Doesn’t keep streaks!!. Part of the app is that it keeps track of the number of days the kids have brushed, BUT if you have to manually edit the calendar for any reason (ex:phone isn’t available to run the timer) the app resets the streak count!!! Try telling a small child that they lost their “streak” because of a programming bug after 30-60 days when they did indeed brush their teeth for all of those days! There’s also a bug about how it counts the times brushed in a day. If you don’t run the timer once in the morning and once at night you won’t get credit for 2. Maybe the kids didn’t get a chance to brush till 1pm, then brushed again at 8pm. Only get credit for 1, lose your streak, and if you manually edit the calendar it’s now better due to that issue And finally, whose brilliant idea was it to only allow the brushing data to be stored on a single device? My kids don’t always have access to the same device, so running the timer isn’t always an option. The data should be stored in an account that can be accessed on multiple devices. These issues aren’t new, they’ve been around a while and Oral-B makes no attempt to resolve them. Oral-B, fix the app or get rid of it. If these issues weren’t here this app would get 5 stars because it does encourage my kids to brush, but as it stands I deal with them being DISCOURAGED from brushing because “the app might not record it.”

So frustrating!. My daughter had a years worth of stickers and different characters since we’d gone through so many toothbrushes. And then all of a sudden your app quit working, just froze up one day and refused to work. Made sure everything was updated, no use. After over a week of dealing with this we finally had to delete the app completely and reload it, there was no way to retrieve anything so a years worth of stickers were lost, and we were back to only having the Mickey character. Okay, my little got over being sad about that pretty quickly and was excited to get a new toothbrush and start again. Got another toothbrush and low and behold it won’t even scan! So I looked up to see if I could find some help online and now Finding Dory will no longer scan! Are you kidding me?! We’re done spending the money on Oral B toothbrushes just so we can use this useless app.

Unable to Open. We have loved the app up until now. We have been using it a couple years, gathered all the characters and have accumulated a lot of stickers. I recently upgraded my phone and the app won’t even go past the title screen. I refuse to delete the app and reinstall because I know everything will be lost and we will have to start all over, leaving some disappointed kids and even more frustrated mom. Everything should be seamless when switching phones and this app never seems to be the case. Update: Still not able to open the app. Got a notification when trying tonight to see if the issue had been fixed regarding backing up the app. When I clicked “allow”, nothing happened. Second update: Disappointed. After a couple months not being able to use the app, hoping it could be fixed, I finally deleted it and reinstalled the app. The price I paid was losing everything. All the stickers and all the characters we had collected over the course of having the app are just gone and we are left to starting over.

Amazing for autism. I’m an autistic adult and I got this app to help me understand how long I need to brush my teeth for. With all my sensory issues brushing my teeth is a big problem so at least I have something else to focus on then “I really hate how this feels.” I love cute looking things that this is exactly it. One thing I do wish was added was a section on flossing teeth and using mouthwash. I’m new to flossing and I understand how to do it and how long I should be doing it for. If you all could create a section for other teeth care, this app would be my absolute favorite (:

Terrible Customer Experience. I have the app on my phone and paid for characters, then purchased a device for my son and cannot transfer those characters to his device. Now, I cannot purchase new characters for his device. It keeps acting like it wants to go through, but never has. I’ve tried it literally ten times, and it never goes through. The bright side is that at least I’m not being charged. I then tried to go to customer service through the app to get help, and despite entering my birthday four times, I can’t get through. Then I go to the App Store, find the app, and go to the website for help, and I cannot find Magic Timer anywhere!! Omg! I cannot get any help or any answers. This app is cute and helpful, but the customer experience is crap. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK OR LET ME TRANSFER THE CHARACTERS TO MY SON’S DEVICE!

When it works.... Like many reviews said over the course of two years, this app is wonderful when it works. More than half the time, the music doesn’t work. I can usually get it back when I turn the setting on an off, but most of the time it won’t play sound from the cut screen or the brushing. I also just bought brand new Oral-B brushes whose characters are available in app, only to spend an hour of nothing but failed scans. Good thing their old toothbrushes still scan in the same setting, but it’s a moot point. There should be absolutely no reason why brand new toothbrushes will not scan. Pros: my kids brush for longer and more efficiently. They were cavity free, and I’m sure it’s got plenty to do with this app. Developers, please please PLEASE fix the issue with scanning and sound. Fix it in your next update, PLEASE. My kids would really like to brush with their new characters.

Needs to be fixed!!!. We would normally be giving this app 5 stars. My kids love it and have been brushing their teeth with no fight now. It is super frustrating when we brush twice a day and the app doesn’t count it. We have lost our streaks multiple times in the last few weeks. For some reason it is keeping my sons streak alive with almost 220 days and all of my kids should be that way, but every 3-4 days it acts like they didn’t brush their teeth for the morning time ( which we all did) and then they lose their streak. Since we are supposed to be encouraging them and not getting them upset for losing progress. I thought that it was just me missing one in the group brushing, but after a few times of it just missing a brushing I know it’s the app and not me. When you go back and fix it, so they have brushed twice in the day it also doesn’t continue their streak, which causes kids to be upset. This really needs to be fixed, let the parents choose if they should continue with the streak or not. We have been using this app for years, but I am really thinking about finding something else.

There is no sound, but now I have it figured out!. We have used this in the past and now my 5-year old wants to use it again. But there is not sound! Very frustrating troubleshooting it too! So frustrating!. My kids have been using this app for a couple of years, have collected tons of stickers and used to be able to choose any character they wanted, which was hugely motivating! All of a sudden, the “AR MODE” unlocked, which meant ALL of their characters were locked, ALL of the stickers they have earned over the years were gone, and they could only use Mickey or a Star Wars character. They got over it and used it for about a week. I was able to unlock Rapunzel by scanning a toothpaste we had. Lo and behold, a week after everything was deleted, the same thing happened and here we are again, two disappointed kids are back to square one! This app is quickly becoming extremely frustrating instead of the motivational app it once was!

Kind of disappointed. I’ve heard about this app from lots of people, so decided to try it because we already had a few kids oral-b products. It worked great for a short time and my kids we excited, but after adding 2 characters for each of my children, the app now tells me it cannot scan any of the products I have or it scans, not with correct character (I.e. Cinderella scans, but takes me to Mickey Mouse). I bought a multi-pack of the character toothbrushes, which now we can certainly use to brush our teeth, but not unlock characters on the app. So we are stuck watching the same 2 characters. I’ve tried to scan products on both my phone and iPad, and have the same results on both, even after updates. Maybe next time, I’ll skip the expensive toothbrushes for another brand. I’ve tried visiting the help site, but that doesn’t work either. However, if anyone knows how to fix the problem, I’d be interested to hear, since my kids seem to enjoy the app.

Pretty cool when it works...but it often doesn’t. The latest update has broken the app so that the brushing animation uncovers a generic photo with a timer and a Wifi signal. WORKAROUND: Stop the timer as soon as you see that image being uncovered and change to a different character. There doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason to what works and what doesn’t, but this often gets an actual sticker to unveil instead of the timer photo. If you don’t have multiple characters, changing to a different photo of that character might work (each character has three different “poses” to choose from). The app is very difficult when it comes to scanning new products. I’ve not been able to get it to work at all on the new Stormtrooper products. Maybe these issues will go away with the next update.

Great idea poor execution. App decided to no longer work, tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Tried to restore purchases yet that option doesn’t work when you click on it. Ridiculous and disappointing for the kids

Disappointing. My kids love this app but their stickers keep disappearing! Also can’t scan some toothbrushes and then when I do, next time they go into the app, the one I just scanned in has gone and is locked again!!! I would actually pay for this app if it actually worked!

Great idea but has lot of bugs. The app at times does not give stars after brushing , grownup setting has an override option but it doesn't keep counting the streaks. Jasmin does not have the intro video. At times stickers are not unlocked.

App keeps resetting and clearing history. Great app and definitely helps with getting kids to brush teeth. However very upsetting for kids with app resetting every few days and losing all progress and stickers. Instead of a positive experience it ends in tears and not wanting to brush teeth. Very frustrating, please fix glitch or link to a disney account.

VR Mode not working. Purchased a new character for my son which displays the icon but not the VR mode. Still displays the previous character. Was then informed by the customer service team that the VR mode is not working for stormtrooper even tho it displays the icon and is a charged extra cost. Be careful purchasing additional characters.

Brush won't scan. The app will not scan the character on the toothbrush. The app is cool but it gets a bit boring when you can only get the Mickey Mouse stickers.

Great concept. It does get the kids brushing for sure but the disappointment on their faces when they have worked so hard to get their say 30day streak done and for some reason the app glitches and doesn’t record it. You can override it but it doesn’t keep counting the streaks and looses the sparkle. Very disappointed kids. Then the app looses its value to them. Fix the glitches!! Now January 2023. Still no fixes to the glitches. Used the multiple brushes part but it only allows you one of the kids to gain the sparkles. Disappointing that no one seems to be on her looking at reviews or following up on issues.

Great App, but Scanning is terrible. I love this app, but scanning doesn’t work. I have tried so many times to scan images on Oral-B branded toothbrushes and toothpaste, but the app always tells me it doesn’t recognise. It drives me insane.

Syncing between devices. Great app. But needs to be able to sync between devices! This is such a basic thing to overlook. People upgrade there devices or kids motive between homes or any number or other reasons. Let the info be stored between devices!

Regular app glitches. My son loves this app for brushing his teeth but different glitches seem to be happening more and more often. He’ll get a new sticker with frozen 2 but it won’t go to the sticker album and after buying the frozen pack he gets each pic three times if he changes between characters. Pretty disappointing!

Never receive the second sticker or a full star.. In the morning after brushing it works fine. My daughter gets a new sticker and half a star. In the evening when she brushes her teeth, she gets a sticker from when she first started the month that she already has and her star does not complete. So basically cannot ever complete one star and hets upset and frustrated she cleans her teeth only to not get the full star or a new sticker.

Has really helped with toothbrushing. We were recommended this app by our dentist to get the kids brushing longer and it really helps, they all ask to brush and they definitely do 2 minutes twice a day now. They love all the characters and stickers but have been disappointed where the app has been repeating stickers (especially so in the Incredibles sticker book). We found it wouldn’t scan our oral b toothbrush like it is supposed to but was able to scan a picture of it we found on the internet?! All in all we enjoy it very much!

Good idea but app poorly designed. Can not sync profiles between IOS devices. Therefore all progress, stickers and reminders do not transfer. I was able to sync unlocked characters after some fiddling with iCloud sharing but the profiles didn’t come up. Link to Customer Service in app just takes you to a FAQs page. No actual customer service available. Had A LOT of trouble with scanning purchased Oral b items to unlock characters. Often wouldn’t work no matter what I tried.

Don’t buy any characters!. Purchased 3 characters that were charged to my account. They didn’t unlock in the app. Contacted apple who told me to contact the app developer. The support within the app just takes you to a page with common questions and answers. I contacted Disney directly and they said they couldn’t do anything about it.

Current version doesn't work. The current version is buggy. The brushing picture is showing a no WiFi and time out picture and when brushing is complete there is no sticker in the sticker book.

Works at first then music stops. This apps works well for 3 weeks and then the music stop playing. I have confirmed that the music is not muted in the settings and have even tried muting and un-muting but it doesn’t help. I now have 2 toddlers, we used it for my first one and it too has some glitches and she lost all her stickers. As a programmer myself, I would have expected Disney to hire better app developers. Beside these annoying glitches, the concept is good and my kids enjoy brushing and seeing what stickers they’ll get. Looking forward to a more stable app in the future.

Needs improvement. Some characters refuse to scan no matter how many times I try. There also needs to be a way to save your progress to an account and to link to other devices. If you delete the app you have to start all over again

Very good. The app is great to get my three kids to simultaneously brush their teeth for two minutes. Very effective. Scan feature for new characters is very dodgy. Scanning is VERY hit and miss, often giving you the wrong character within the franchise.

Needs improvements. After Day 2 of using the app, it has stopped recording the second “brushing” off the day so we have a lot of half completed stars when in reality my kids brushed twice. Please fix ASAP!

Kids love it; music annoying, won’t scan. The kids love it, but the latest update took away the option to turn off the annoying background music without also turning off the brushing music. Also, the scan function doesn’t work, so we can’t add new characters from oral b products.

Issues with earning stars and no offline mode. Would be 5 stars except: Timing issues with earning stars? We brushed our child’s teeth at 11:30 and again around 21:00, but the app did not award us the full star for brushing twice in the same day. Also, while camping in areas with no cell coverage, could not access child’s account to earn stars. Why is there no offline mode to track stars?

Issue with app. I’ve been using this app for years but just recently it is not saving my child’s brushing from the night before when I open the app the next day, so we are losing stickers and cannot get any more streaks. Not very reliable. If you have sensitive kids, do not download this app. It doesn’t work sometimes. They brush their teeth for 2 min and at the end of the timer the app does not recognize they had done it and does not give them the full stars and the sticker. Right now it is not even opening and my kids had a small tantrum because they didn’t want to waste brushing their teeth without having the app timer. The idea is great if it worked without those problems, though.

Stopped working. The app won’t start any more. It says Oops... looks like we’ve lost connection. Retry says the same thing. Deleting and reinstalling did not fix the issue. Problem was on an iPhone 7.

Amazing. I had this app last year had tons of problems with it. The sound wouldn’t come on or the sound effects would not come on the music would play but nothing else would play or the sound effects would play and the music wouldn’t play. But since I got a new phone I downloaded this app on cloud and it has been working perfectly, my son who is three years old loves to brush his teeth every morning and night to see his pals Mickey and Minnie

Won’t maintain streaks. My son was really excited to be working toward his first 5 day streak, but on day three, the flag for the five day streak disappeared and the stats say that he only has a one day streak.

Great. This is a very good app. But there are a few reasons that had to make me deduct stars. This app crashes when I use camera and takes too slow. Deletes my character that I earned. That causes me to deduct 1 star. It very commonly doesn’t earn me a character when I scan one from Oral-B. That makes me to deduct a star. We can use training mode and that lowers the time from 2 minutes to 1 minute. Very great for people who’s trainers. That gets me to recover a star. Overall, the score is great. Very recommended, but please fix the feedback above. Love it.

Scan won’t work. My kids LOVE the timer and the choice of characters! However, I just bought new Oral B toothbrushes for them and they won’t scan. I’ve tried many times over many days in different light and it just won’t work.

Concept great; usability not so much. Pros: I like the timer feature; helps my little guy brush and he looks forward to brushing! I like the “stickers” that they get for finishing their brushing. Fix this Disney: 1. Even if my kid brushes twice a day it doesn’t always register in the app so he only gets 1/2 star, it’s happened a few times which then defeats the purpose of a brushing “streak” 2. The only in app “help” thats given is about how to scan the toothbrush. 3. Scanning the toothbrush is ridiculous. We’ve had the brush for a week and I try every day to scan it as they say. It’s a brand new toothbrush and does not scan no matter what. If you need to have so much instruction and help to scan clearly you have a lot of issues with the product. Can there be a new way to download the character if a scan doesn’t work? Even scanning a pic on the packaging rather than the toothbrush. Something?!

Sound issues. Music on home screen and during brushing only works when I go into the settings and turn the sound on and off before starting. Sound for each of the characters intros and count down only works one every 20 times, if we’re lucky. Also Frozen 2 only has 20 stickers possible??? What is that?? And how is there not a Moana option or Finding Nemo (not Dory) option? I want to love this app because it gets my son to be willing to brush teeth without tears but the consistent technology issues and requests for characters not supported are disappointing as the adult.

It’s good but not the best. I like it because it makes brushing more fun but mostly is because I can mess around with the parents only section. And the part I hate about it is you have to pay for the characters no matter what. If I were to go to a store and buy a brush for a character it’s more money than on the app, but if I buy it from the app then it still counts as buying, and I just wish you could get the characters by completing tasks like brushing twice a day for a week or a month and so on. But anyways it’s a good way to keep me brushing.

Gets us brushing!. I will start by saying this app has helped my child brush for the full 2 minutes. Plus it has her excited about brushing which wasn’t there before. My only con is that if you have a 4 yr old brushing twice a day to see a cool sticker, I don’t think it should repeat the stickers. I know you want in app purchases but I think you could do more with stickers. For example with the amount of options you have from the 4 Toy Story movies. Not just the fourth movie include the others to interest younger kids in 1-3. Thanks for the app and happy brushing to all!!

Very disappointed. I have had this app for a long time for my 6 year old. He had tons of stickers saved and enjoyed using the app. The recent update lost all of his stickers and now all of the characters are locked. That was a fun morning when I had to tell him he couldn't use any of the characters he loves. I wouldn't recommend this app unless you would be fine with only using a few characters. I can't find many items to scan in the stores that have a variety of characters. Update- The help page doesn’t address the loss of characters so it isn’t helpful at all. In addition, I have emailed this concern to the developer and never received any response.

Trouble unlocking characters. I like this app and my kids love it. It really helps them brush for a full two minutes. But I’m having problems trying to scan new characters. My 6 year old really wants Olaf from Frozen 2 but even though I bought a toothpaste with Olaf and it says Frozen 2 on it, when scanned it only bring up frozen 1 which we had already collected all stickers for. Definitely be prepared to spend extra money in this app as it seems unlikely that your kids will be able to unlock the characters they want through scanning.

Disappointed. I’ve used this app on and off for a few years. My kids do love it; however, we did have access to way more characters! When I downloaded it most recently, there were only a few characters and the only ways to add more were to pay for packages or to scan more. Well that would be fine, but they NEVER scan! I have tried every character under the sun, and have had only one successful scan! What is the problem? I understand you want to make money, but when we buy the products, you are... Get the scanning feature to work so it will unlock the characters they want!

Used to be great, hasn’t worked in months. It’s unfortunate to give this app 1 star because when it works, it was wonderful. My kid loved to brush his teeth to see what sticker he was going to get. We collected a bunch of different characters so he never got bored. Now the picture is a wifi symbol and doesn’t even add it to his book. With all the negative reviews over the past couple of months, I’m surprised Oral B hasn’t tried to fix it. We’ll be looking for something else. So if you’re thinking about this app, don’t bother until they get it fixed.

I love this game but some people are missing. I love this game as a kid when I was brushing my teeth remember the app so I went to come back to it on my new iPad I scanned in my Ariel toothpaste then I realized m favorite Disney Princess wasn’t on the board my favorite Disney princess was sleeping beauty an Mona and I didn’t see her please add the rest of the Disney princesses soon btw why a age limit for older kids and remember this game when I was ten so please this 3-8 years it is rude in my opinion and I do love this game <3.

My son is losing interest. When we first got the app you had to earn stickers to unlock new albums. Then the app changed and you could use any of the characters available which my son LOVED now they’ve switched back and you have to scan a new product to unlock a new character?! It takes a long time to go through a tube of toothpaste or need a new toothbrush leaving my four year old impatient and bored of this app. If they had just left it the way it was when he could be any of the characters available we would love this app again! Update: my phone just updated and now we lost all the characters that we had?! That is a terrible thing to do to a four year old!

Awesome app. This app is amazing! I don’t like to brush my teeth for 2 minutes but this makes the time flyby. I think this would be great for little kids because of the Disney pictures being brushed off. So they can brush their teeth and watch it. When you brush your teeth twice a day it levels up which can give the sense of achievement. I totally recommend this app for kids and even teens!

Won’t launch after update. My kids love this app and it’s kept them brushing consistently for a year. But now it won’t launch after the latest update from a week ago. I don’t want to try deleting and reinstalling because I don’t want to lose all of my kids’ progress (5-year-old on 50-day streak and 10-year-old on 140-day streak). Having to start over from scratch would be a big demotivator for them. I would contact the app’s tech support but none of the links work, so I’m hoping this message will help parents know to avoid this update and maybe get the developer’s attention.

My kid loves the app, but it has issues.. This app worked great for a while, but a recent update introduces a bug with the sound. Even if my device (iPhone XS Max) is unmuted, the app has no sound. If I suspend and reopen the app, the sound comes back. But - there’s still no sound for the BB-8 intro movie. There also doesn’t appear to be any pattern to achievements, and it’s been at least two weeks since he got his last achievement and he brushes twice a day. Aside from those issues, the 4.5 year old does love the app and we rely on it daily for good brushing habits.

Parents beware!. This is the lamest app, ever. How hard could it be to build a timer app that engages kids with cute pictures, for 2 minutes? Instead, the app forces you to enroll specific toothbrushes. actually show anything, other than a WiFi symbol. If you have multiple kids, you won’t be able to use this app, because it remembers your brush time, and doesn’t let you use it again until night time. Clearly greed is at play here, because all the characters require another $4 to “unlock” them. This is an overly complicated app for a very simple function. Save yourself time, and just set a 2 minute timer using built in iPhone timer.

So buggy!!. I can’t get the stars to give my daughter five days in a row because if I fix the calendar, it takes it away. It’s only phone to phone so I can’t have my husband, who brushes in the morning, log in and give her credit. And today was day 3 of her 5 day streak but because we brushed a second time and the app bugged out and went back to the calendar after the timer, it took her progress away. 3 stars because it made my daughter want to brush and she loves it but we both get angry and frustrated when it doesn’t work.

Used to be awesome.... When e first got this app, it was great! We had a tough time scanning products to open new characters, but eventually got it. My son loved the stickers and feedback I even ended up buying a couple of new characters. However, this app has not worked properly in a year. It started with the same sticker each time he brushed. Then it froze every time the app was opened. Now that it finally got a new update it doesn’t freeze but now he doesn’t get stickers- just a picture of WiFi. We get it every time whether on WiFi or on data. Sooo, if you asked a year ago, 5 stars. Now- I wouldn’t waste time on this one.

Fun to brush. Great app! My daughter and I often brush our teeth together using the group setting. She loves to get the rewards. Just wish more pics would be added once you uncover all those from a certain theme. It would also be nice if the adjusted calendar would contribute to the rewards. There have been a couple of times we have forgotten to push okay once finished brushing and then my daughter loses her progress, even if we adjust the calendar. But, all in all a fun app, and my daughter loves it.

Good App. I would love to give it 5 stars, but I have a few complaints. First, I wish you could have your profile on multiple devices. It’s tough when both my husband and I help him brush his teeth and we don’t want him to lose his streak on the other profile. Second, there needs to be an easier way to fix it if you don’t have your phone so they don’t lose their streak. Otherwise, it’s a good App.

Nice app but a lot of bugs. My daughter loves brushing now.....but the app doesn't always work, like today after getting the latest update. Not fun to deal with impatient four year old who doesn't understand why technology won't work all the time! Update: dropped from 2 stars to 1–we are still using it at 6 years old but it will not scan characters from Oral B Disney products. This is frustrating. Why hasn’t it been improved in 2 years?!?! Still using it at 8 years old. Working on getting her to consistently brush 2xs day. Great to have a 10 day flag to work towards. Suddenly it disappeared right before warming it. That does NOT help with the lesson at all.

Awesome App!. So my 6 year old son really likes this app. It’s very important to him to get his full stars ⭐️ (brushing morning AND night). He’s so passionate about it he made all of us a profile (he is Star Wars character, 3 year old Joseph is Mickey Mouse, Kalea and I are Minnie Mouse) and reminds us to brush our teeth to get our stars ⭐️. Tonight we brushed our teeth together to the app. He went to bed happy 😁 It’s the little things in life but yet so big ❤️

Unable to scan products. My daughters and I love this app. Used it for years for my older child now my younger one. Very interactive and rewarding. Scanning the product is one of the best parts. However lately, across multiple devices we are unable to scan new products for new books. Searched for an update. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app by doing so we loss all her stickers (my 5 year old is devastated with me). We use Apple products. Is there a update that can fix this issue? I also wish we were able to restore the user’s data with a simple login or something similar. In addition, I agree with another reviewer. It would be amazing if this app can be interchangeable between all the child’s devices. Overall, Besides those minor issues we love this app and highly recommend. Please fix scanner and I’ll be a 6 star customer. If you can correct the other two issues as well you’ll get 20 stars from me lol. Thank you in advance.

Charges for everything now. I have had this app for a while now and only because my 4 year old likes it. I had some issues with it and lost every character I had scanned in by buying products like tooth paste and brushes. I have done what I could to get them back but I am still unable to get all of them again. But now they just changed so that you have to pay for any character you want individually. These are kids can’t you just let them have the characters without charging their parents even more. I can’t afford to just buy every new thing my kid sees and now wants. Thanks a lot. Disappointed mom.

I have a suggestion. So, I haven’t really done this in a few years, but I got back to it and it’s fun! But I have a few quick words sometimes I want to control the toothbrush (when I’m not brushing my teeth) so I would like you to have a little mini game at the top or something where you can try to clear out all the bubbles or soap or whatever that is-With the toothbrush -Thanks for reading!

Glitchy!!!!. This App is SO glitchy!!! My kids love it and looked very forward to using it (as did I, hello, fun and longer teeth brushing!) but it times out to a black screen while loading ALL the time and freezes up. I then close the app, reopen it and sometimes it works, sometimes it takes 4 or more attempts. It won’t scan the characters on my kids’ toothbrushes or toothpaste tubes (yes, I rewatched the tutorial) and it says it’s “updating” sometimes when it’s being glitchy, but the app never changes for the better. HUGE disappointment, esp in this day and age when a lot of apps are working so flawlessly and a big disappointment from Disney for pairing with something that’s such a let down.

Very SLOW after recent updates!!. Apparently this app was updated to run on an iPhone 3 because it takes a good 20 seconds to get between menus. Fortunately, the timer runs at the right speed, but the lag between menus is frustrating for kids and parents alike. The fact that characters come on go is also an annoyance. The profiles on my wife’s phone have different character options than on mine. Assuming you can get past the two minutes of waiting through menus to get to the two minute timer and okay with inconsistencies between apps on different phones, then it works.

Great concept, needs improvements. Purchased the in app purchase “Elsa” character. The short video before brushing is of Olaf and the timer is Olaf. Don’t purchase this if you expect to see Elsa. All of the other characters you pick have a video of that character and the timer with that character (Mickey Mouse has a short video of Mickey and Mickey timer/ Belle has short video of Belle and Belle timer)- not Elsa- you get Olaf instead. I emailed several times and they either don’t write back or wrote back and said that was intended. Disappointed since I actually paid money for the character. Also, when trying to scan toothbrushes for new characters, the scanner doesn’t work and you can’t get the new character to unlock. When my children look at their sticker books, the app closes on them and they are unable to view the books. Love the concept of brushing for 2 minutes and it keeps the children engaged during that time, but attention to the issues above need to be fixed.

Kids love it but…. My kids really enjoy this app and it certainly helps them want to brush and brush for the correct length of time. The major downfalls are 1) the product scanning feature doesn’t work very well which is highly disappointing to kids when they are excited about a new character but it doesn’t work and 2) there is no cloud or sharing feature so if they use a different device (mom’s phone versus dad’s phone) they don’t get “credit” and their streak is broken.

If only it worked. My kids love this app. I hate it. The music randomly works one day and not the next; there is no rhyme or reason. I think the “scan your product” is an out and out scam. Every character we have, I’ve had to purchase. I’ve never been able to get it to “capture” the product. “Hold it 3 inches away and move slowly until you are 1 inch away”? Nonsense. One inch away it is blurry and reading nothing. And yes I’m in a well lit area and know how to operate my phone. They have a “customer service” link that takes you to a repeat of the app’s FAQs and offers no service whatsoever. I expect far more of Disney. I’m on the market for a different toothbrush timer. Only wish I could get the money back that I wasted on this one.

Excellent. I love how this app gives kids so many different things to look for. From the picture that’s being revealed as you brush, to the toothbrush brushing the bubbles away to show the picture. Different themes, toothbrush colors schemes, different characters. The timer is my favorite part, It shows them the length of 2 minutes. So seeing numbers count down is something I think is helpful. Overall I’m very satisfied and love it! I highly recommend this app for kids.

Please Fix App Error Disney!!!. My daughter was so excited to start using her first “big girl” toothbrush and use the app she has seen on so many commercials but we can not get the app to scan her Frozen character toothbrush at all!!! At least Mickey/Minnie are free but I would imagine she will get bored with just those quickly! Love the concept & when it works eventually I’m sure it will be great! Please update the app to fix these issues soon!!

Great app, but one problem. This is a great app to help keep up with your child’s (children’s) brushing. But if you ever have to take your phone back to factory or have to get a new one/replacement, you can’t sync or save your info so that it can be transferred to the new device. That would be a great feature! Otherwise, all that hard work is down the drain trying to get all the characters and stickers.

Can’t access profiles. Kids have used this app for years and now suddenly can’t access their individual profiles. The only way they are able to brush is through the group brush feature. Short of uninstalling and reinstalling the app (where a LOT of stickers will be lost) I can’t find anything online showing what can be done. Updated to latest op system and restarted phone, nothing else has worked. If they recently updated it, wish they would do a patch to fix. Kids are bummed.

App is not working right!!!. We’ve had this app for probably six months and use it daily. Since the last update it doesn’t work right. When my daughter brushes it brushes off a blue picture of a sand timer and WiFi symbol. Every single time she brushes. But then when you look in the sticker book there is a new sticker. And sometimes when you open the sticker book it is all stickers of sand timers and WiFi symbols, instead of the stickers that used to be there. And then sometimes they come right back. Please fix!!! She loves this app! There is no way to contact support, only FAQ’s.

Best app ever!!. This app has helped my children make brushing their teeth fun! I love their reaction when they get their first notification to brush their teeth! 🥰 I also love all the characters and how you can create different profiles! My Daughter LOVES Ariel! And whenever the full image pops up after she brushes she will take a photo of it. Definitely recommend this for young kids who are struggling to brush their teeth! 🦷🪥

Could use an update. This app is awesome and I love it for my kids, gets them excited to brush their teeth. It needs some tweaking though. The feature where multiple users can brush at once often doesn’t work which is a pain. Also, it often doesn’t track correctly making it seem that the kid only brushed once a day rather than two. When they don’t get their proper marks it upsets them as that is something they look forward to. Overall a cool concept but needs some help

Kids love it, but money is sunk on one device. This app really motivates my kids to brush for the full two minutes. My problem is that I purchased several packages to unlock the different Disney characters for my kids on my old phone. Now that they have their own iPads, I tried to download it on their devices using my account. Even doing that didn’t allow me to restore my purchases. I just noticed in their description that you can share the app on 6 devices, but in-app purchases cannot be shared. What? So I have to buy them on EACH device? That’s such a relief off. Not a happy customer. Buyer, beware.

Great motivator. I love this app. I used it when my son was younger and just re downloaded it for my daughters. (3 &6) they love it! It helps keep them brushing and getting ALL their teeth WITHOUT me nagging them about it! They look forward to getting 2 stars daily and seeing what picture they get when done. The only complaint I have is one of the princesses doesn’t give stickers it’s always the internet signal and the timer. I rescanned the toothpaste and got another princess and it doesn’t have that problem.

Fix the Streaks!!. A great app that is totally motivating my son to brush his teeth. He LOVES getting a streak! But it is very frustrating that even as an adult editing the calendar, it doesn't keep the streak alive. Sometimes, he is sick, or my phone isn't available so through no fault of his own his streak ends. It is very disappointing!! Especially when he does brush and the app didn't register it because we closed it out and didn't notice that instead of registering our Ok push, it paused the screen and didn't count the brushing. Please FIX THE STREAK! Let it be edited by the grown-ups calendar fix!

Magic Timer. My kids LOVE this app, ages 4 and 2! It encourages them to brush their teeth and enjoy it too. I have found it difficult to get the specific characters without having to pay for it on the app. I see a few in store but not most of them. We did experience some minor glitches which seem to have been resolved in the latest update. Other than that, the app is a wonderful tool for children.

Won’t restore purchase. Money lost!. My husband and I have family sharing for all of our apps. This app will not only not let me access the characters my husband has purchased but it also will not restore purchases I made on my phone. I have lost money on these purchases. My children are very disappointed and this has caused many tears during tooth brushing time. I would warn against spending additional money on this app or even buying the more expensive tooth brushes to unlock characters when you will most likely lose access to these characters and lose money.

Really fun but camera rarely works. This is a a fun app for kids and it does help my kiddo stick with a toothbrushing routine. However, the scanner/camera for new characters on products only Works about 10-15% of the time. We’ve purchased so many Disney/Pixar character toothbrushes and we’re not able to get the character because the scanner won’t read it. And as other parents have mentioned, please make the progress shareable among devices. It’s really frustrating that if my husbands phone is used instead of mine, her “streak” is broken because the progress is in another phone.

Really works. It was awesome. My daughter not only did love this app because she got fun stickers, she loved the satisfaction of getting stars for brushing her teeth. Even as a adult brushing my teeth is boring. Before this app my daughter rarely would brush her teeth now she’s in love with it. When we went to the dentist they said her teeth had really improved this app really works. By the way developers please please please fix the bug where it’s hard to scan it’s very frustrating

Used to work-Updated. My daughter loves this app. However once I upgraded my phone to the 11 it no longer works. Brought it up on our iPad, but she was sad to see she lost everything. Very disappointed. Update: after deleting, reinstalling the app, and contacting customer service all of the characters my daughter had are back. The stickers she had earned could not be restored but she was excited to see her favorite characters again. Customer service was quick to respond and very helpful.

Your app stinks. I want love this app. In theory it’s fun and cute and my kids love it when it works. I buy new toothbrushes (because the app requires it to get new albums) to keep my kids interested but more than half the time your app won’t capture the character and open a new “sticker album”. It makes me crazy. It’s very buggy right now. Freezes up, says the kid already brushed when they haven’t, and doesn’t recognize new characters when I try to sync as mentioned before. Please fix!! But..this has been going on for a couple years now so not sure you can fix it if you haven’t already by now.

At least the timer works.. My kids like using the timer (8yo son and 3yo daughter) and seeing their stickers and achievements. It has helped them to brush longer and have better brushing patterns. BUT we have crest and oral b products that are p&g and they don't scan. Guess I'm not the only one. Just stinks that my daughter likes princesses instead of Minnie but it's a free app. Also the help website and customer service website links don't work. Surprise.

Audio Issues. I have been using this app on and off for over 2 years. The inconsistent audio pushes me away. Eventually, I come back hoping it has been fixed. Usually it has and then the audio goes out. Currently, brushing teeth audio does not immediately play despite my phone’s audio being on and the music option being turned on in the app. After the 3 sec. countdown and the brushing begins, I can pause the brushing and then touch keep going. When it returns to the brushing, the sound comes on. Please consider fixing this hiccup.

Cute. Okay, so, confession; I'm 24 and I don't have kids. I downloaded this app to help me get back into brushing my teeth. I have a phobia of bathrooms and the less time I spend in there the better which led me to not brushing my teeth like I should. I love Disney and all the characters and so I figured why not? I'm a child at heart and for me it's relaxing to watch the toothbrush reveal the images. I enjoy using this app at 24 and it helps my anxiety for bathrooms.

Disappointed. Have been looking for ways to help encourage my son to brushing his teeth more, I love the functionality of the app and the excitement I get while my son is brushing his teeth, however he keeps creating a new user instead of using his and there is no way to delete the extra users as he is my only child, can we get this fixed? That is my biggest issue! Edit: If there is a way to make the timer 2 mins instead of 1 min that would be great, could we make that happen. I’ve noticed that the users issue was fixed, thanks!

Great app...until the latest update :/. So we had unlocked nearly all the characters and then came the latest update...and we were back to square one as though we had just downloaded the app for the very first time having lost ALL our sticker books and progress, highly upsetting & frustrating for a 6 year old. And now we have bought new toothbrushes and these won’t even scan...I would love to give the app a 5* review as both my 6 year old & 2 year old love it, but the bugs have become a huge headache. We will continue to use it because my son insists he can’t brush without it, but I sure hope improvements are on the way...

Amazing!!!. I needed a timer to help stay on track with my ten year old who is disabled. He loves the stickers after each session and is able to get to the app himself, tap on his profile and start it up. After about a week of using it now, he is doing everything by himself! He picked up his toothbrush and brushed for the full two minutes by himself for the first time! This is absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for this timer!
