Googoo?. My daughter is obsessed with Googoo but can’t call him on her play phone ... because he’s not available! (Hes not a character on here please add him !)

Doesn't disable buttons on phone. I thought the point of tis app was to make your pone safe for the kiddo to play with. This is not the case. As soon as my daughter touched the home button she had complete access to my phone. She was millimeters away from erasing things. If I wanted to have to activate the guided access I would just activate it instead of starting this app only to have to use the guided access.

Entertaining. Has a few of my daughter's favorite characters (although some voices differ from the actual voice actors in the show) and she loves being able to call and talk to them. Never had a problem with sound so I'm not sure what other reviewers are talking about. Overall a solid app.

Like a phone toy but better. My daughter loves her phone toy but this keeps her occupied for much longer! She loves being able to call and talk to the characters, especially VocabuLarry! Highly recommend

Crash on start. I was (am?) excited to get this app for my little. Unfortunately, it has never successfully loaded. I have deleted and reinstalled it twice to no avail. I have also tapped the app-support button in the store and it takes me to the bf site but there is no other place to ask for assistance than here. I have, I believe, two more baby first apps that do not load. I will leave what info I can in the appropriate places.

Annoying Ads!. The app itself is fine. Very cute. She loves the characters that appear on the screen. But my baby can't even hardly enjoy the app without an annoying ad popping up every few seconds. Makes it impossible to enjoy. I don't want a different app. I want to see this app, so stop with the constant ads! That's just my two cents.

No Goo Goo. Only reason I downloaded this is because my daughter loves Goo Goo. The commercial shows that character is on here and he isnt

So fun for babies!. My 5 month old loves this app. I reserve it for use when we are out and I need to occupy her. Also bought the fisher price laugh and learn iphone holder for babies. It's so awesome how much she loves it!!! Thank you!!!

No sound. I’ve downloaded three time and still no sound. Disappointed, I was looking forward to sharing this with my little one.

New version is hard for my baby to use. I love that the 2.0 version has more characters, but now when my baby touches the screen it scrolls up and down on him and it's difficult for young fingers to pick a character. Even I have to tap a few times on a character to get it to start ringing because the scrolling is so sensitive. I wish you could squeeze all the characters onto the screen so it doesn't have to scroll at all.

Fail. Looks like it could be a fun app for my grandson however there is no sound.

Ridiculous. This is nothing more than a babyfirst sales platform. I can't just hand this to my son and him be able to play. Once he's in the actual games it's ok, unless he closes it and tries to go back into it, then another ad comes up. This is in no way made for babies, and with a name like BABYfirst you would think that wouldn't be the case. Very disappointed.

Great app. Great for the little ones. It's fun for them to be able to call their baby first favorites. To whoever said there was no sound - make sure you aren't on vibrate. Sound works fine! That's the whole point of the app!!!

Baby first. I get no sound on the app. I have downloaded and deleted it twice trying get sound to work. I have I phone 7 and EVERY APP on baby first network has been a problem. None has worked on mine or my wife’s phone. NONE. SHE HAS I PHONE 10.

Great, However... My daughter loves this app, it’s a beautiful mind jogging distraction for my already smart toddler. She can call all her favorite friends, learn her numbers and letters and what not. But there’s only one thing that bothers me... Where the hell is GooGoo??? We watch baby first all the time and they always bring up how GooGoo is now available on their app. LIES! I want my money back! (It was free stupid.)

Love it. Works great, but your phone ringer must be turned on for there to be any sound

Great app!. FYI: if the sound isn't working in the app, check to make sure your phone isn't on silent. I made that mistake and as soon as I turned my ringer back on the app sounds worked awesome! My son is going to love this app! He's always trying to take my phone and copy me. I love that this is colorful, yet simplistic enough for a toddler. It's really cool that it has a 'favorite caller' list and texting emojis, which will be great when he's a little older.

Good!. This app is amazing for my children. I have twins, a boy and a girl and they love it. When I pick them up from pre-school, there teacher compliments there working and understanding. I also have a single child that is having trouble with colors and shapes. I looked for a app and I saw this and when my daughter she said, " mommy I want to do that!" And so I got it for her. They love this app do you should love it too!

Fun app!. My daughter loves this app!! It's fun and sweet for tiny kids. I haven't noticed the frequency of ads, but my little one tends to stay in one screen of the app for a while before switching, so maybe that's why. Also, yes, kids can press the home button and get out of the app, but that's normal for most apps I think... Once I learned about guided access I had absolutely no problems with this anymore. Four stars!

Gets the job done. Use it for my 2 yr old boy and he enjoys seeing the characters he sees on the phone. The apps ring allows you to can crank up the volume to make sure they're still on the app. The scripts from the characters are well varied, and it's awesome that it can be used even when no cellular data is around.

Love it!. My 13 month old daughter LOVES playing with my phone and iPad mini....She also loves Baby First TV (especially Harry the Bunny, Notekins, and Sammy and Eve) ...I love the fact that she can "interact" with her favorite characters from the show. ((And that the app is free)) :) This Momma gives this App 2 thumbs up!

Babyfirst telephone. Love the app my little one is learning the numbers I just wish it had different language selection for when he would push the number or a character it would speak our native language and in English

Sound has disappeared :(. I’ve had this app on my iPhone for a couple of years, first for my now 5 year-old and now for my 18 month-old. But the sound has stopped working. I have the app on my iPhone X, my old iPhone 6, and an iPad. The sound has stopped on all the devices. This was/is my daughters favorite app. I can see reviews from over a year ago that this has been an ongoing problem, and the developer responding that they were working on an update. Well, there hasn’t been an update in almost 2 years. Please develop an update to fix the sound! My daughter misses calling all her friends from the baby channel.

Great, until latest update. LOVED this app for my son until the latest update. He likes to hit the home button, and instead of just tapping the app open again and resuming play, now I have to click an "x" on an ad and two-finger swipe to get it to close. ANNOYING to have to do this every 30 seconds when my son gets out of the app. Please get rid of this!!!!

Wish the sound worked!!!. We loved the app and all the characters until the sound stopped working as other users have stated. I’ve tried uninstalling, rebooting, and fluctuating the volume from the lowest to highest setting to no avail. It does work fine on my iPhone 8 Plus, but is really needed for my toddlers personal iPad which is on IOS 10.3.3. I would definitely give this app 5 stars otherwise. I have the same problem with the second version of the app as well 😔.

No sound? Check the mute button on the side of the phone. She loves it. When I am trying to use the phone and she insists upon it we can talk to grandma without hanging up by switching over to this app and starting guided Access. Ah guided Access if you don't know how to use it you need to so you dont mind as much when babies is your phone

Great app!. Simple Game beautiful pictures, run smoother. This game has very addictive not only with the youngest players, but also adults. game attracts the most amount of time children play. a lot of kids around the world love.

Don't update if you want it to still work!. Ditto everyone else. It was my daughter's favorite app - would use it every day - now she just gets frustrated because the "speed dial/favorites" part (her favorite) doesn't work at all. It freezes up and you have to abort the app for anything to start working again. Please fix, otherwise we'll be looking for other entertainment.

HELP (I need a grammar correction). I absolutely adore this app & so does my 6 month old son... MY only problem is my son's name is Nicholas & the proper spelling of his name, pluralized is Nicholas', NOT (the way it shows up at the top of the app on my phone) Nicholas's... If u guys could PLEASE help me with fixing this issue it will be greatly appreciated, I don't want my son to start to see his name in properly spelled... Thank you in advance & other than that 1 small issue this app is genius & A LOT more free stuff than I had expected!!!

No sound after iOS 10.3.3. This really is a great app and my daughter loves it. However, after updating my phone to iOS 10.3.3, the sound no longer works. BabyFirst, please fix it.

Works great…sound works…possible sound fix?. So when I first downloaded it had no sound and my volume was all the way up (still no sound) then I realized my iPhone switch (top left side) was switched to silent mode. I switched it to sound and the sound came on and was adjustable by the volume then. Not sure if this is everyone’s sound issue or not but figured I’d share what helped me. Anyhow great app. If this isn’t your sound issue then disregard. Just trying to help.

Does not work anymore. My daughter loves this app. But as of this morning it will not open. I have an iPhone 5s. When I press on the app it opens to a black screen, then shuts down. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Crap. Used it to be good when my baby wasn't stopped from playing by relentless ads. I'm not playing the app, so what's the point of advertising to a baby? Every 30 seconds it goes to a 'timed as' mode then I have to manually close it out to allow my child to keep playing? Lol Really frustrating. I will have to delete it now. Good thing Babyfirst tv doesn't do that mid-program. That would be very disruptive to learning, eh?

Life saver!!!!!. This is great for planes and times of tantrums! I just put this app on for them and let them do whatever they want. Makes calls texts and so much more. We wouldn't be able to live without it!

BAD INFLUENCE??!???!??. This app functions beautifully. My toddler loves it. HOWEVER!!! ,there is an interaction with our dear ENEMY Sammy the Squirrel. This fluffy demon says “Look! I throw my acorn up in the air like a ball! Can you do that?” Then proceeds to throw his acorn like a mad man!!!1!! Now. I ask you fellow parents. What is your small child left to throw but your phone!!! It is likely the only item in their hands!!!! Now i have an angry little boy who’s mind has been polluted by a squirrely heathen. He will not stop throwing the phone!! He threw it at me!! At his grammy!! AT THE CAT!!! What is a mother left to do??????!!? (This review is mostly a joke however my son seriously is throwing my phone a lot and i feel that perhaps our dear Sammy is the culprit.)

Great app for phone but not for ipad. My son really really love it. And he is learning his words thru his friends like larry, harry and do. No need for data or wifi to play with them. Its just that the app in the ipad keeps on shutting down( latest version). Kindly check on that. I would have given 5 stars if not for that.

Play phone. I loved time until you changed it. My son is pretty smart and the last version was were he tapped blossom and it went back to the original screen. On the top right you had parents he left that alone. Now he hits blossom it goes to advertising and takes two finger swipe to the left. I can't every two seconds fix this

Update fail. This used to be my son's favorite app. The previous version stopped working on iPod but at least it worked on iPad. I updated the app and it still doesn't run on the iPod. Now, only 2/3 of the app work on iPad. The best part, the games with the characters doesn't work. Please fix ASAP

Disappointed. Used to be great. Way too many ads now, and the 2 finger swipe + press x to close them just makes them even more annoying.

Ap. The video are great for children under 1 1/2 the rest is not any use to that young of an age. This is not supported for the iPhone 6

So disappointed. My daughter liked this app before all of the updates. There are way too many ads and not enough characters. The newest update actually doesn't even work! You click a character and the phone rings and nothing happens afterwards, I am so disappointed! FIX THE APP IT DOES NOT WORK.

My niece is in love!. My niece is the biggest BabyFirst fan I know! I recommended this app to my sister for her daughter to play with and she has been using it nonstop! She gets to talk to Tillie, Peek A Boo and others. She can't get enough :)

No Sound?! Please fix!. Cute app but what's the point of a phone app for kids if there is no sound? Even tried rebooting the phone...all other apps are okay...no sound with this one. Please fix! The sound works on iPhone 5s, but my grandson uses my old iPhone 4 to play on so he doesn't break my phone and the sound doesn't work on the 4.

Volume doesn't always load. When this app works correctly it is fantastic. The volume doesn't always work even with my 5s volume all the way up. My one year old gets frustrated and do do I. I have deleted and reinstalled as well as restarted my phone. Nothing works.

Nothing But Ads. I get there will be some ads in a "free" app, but baby first apps are absolutely horrific! You'll honestly spend more time waiting on and clicking through ads then playing the game. Pretty poor experience, not sure how much greed one company can have...

Baby's first. So cute! Love this for entertaining little ones while waiting for dr, or any other kind of appointment.

Space hog. It works well and my 2 year old enjoys it, but iOS 8 says that it was consuming over 600MB. When I uninstalled the app, it really did free 600MB.

In-App Advertisements Disruptive. I have no problem closing out of an ad when the app starts up, but putting pop-ups during the video portions of the app itself is extremely disruptive. This last update is a mess.

Frustrated in silence.. My daughter loves this app, but the volume does not work on it since the most recent update. My other apps work, so I know it's not just the iPad itself, please fix it. She loves "texting" the funny bunny!

No sound!!!. Help! I've tried to download and restart by iPhone 4S 3 times after installing his app and there's still no sound for it. It looks really great but is totally useless without sound. I've checked everything in notifications and settings on my phone too.

Worst update ever. Just like everyone that has written a review, after the update it made this app utterly useless. The videos freeze and then crash, and ever the emoji part crashes if you use certain ones. Very disappointed considering this was my daughter's favorite app.

Pretty Good. My 15 month old loves this app. Very bright colors and the characters are fun. Downsides: takes forever to open, and baby pushes the home button and it closes the app, tantrums ensue. And like I said, it takes forever to open. So...

Good. Good although not many features

Used to be great, ad ridden now. Video ads were added. The previous pop up ads confused my child enough as it was but now every time they back out to the title screen I have to help close the damned thing (which it doesn't do responsively).

My daughter loves this. My 20 month old daughter loves this app her favorite part is calling the characters, especially the duck. Although I find the squirrel very disturbing... Where is he pulling that walnut from?

Needs an update. I had an iPhone 5s. The app worked well. My daughter loved it. Her face would light up and she'd giggle when she saw vocabuLARRY. But I just upgraded to the iPhone 6, and the app loads, but the videos will not play. Tried all the videos nothing worked. Tried deleting and reinstalling the app and that didn't work. This app was such a life saver and now it's just useless :(
