If you care about privacy or push notification advertisements. The app is wonderful, but if you care about privacy the Kinedu policy is opt-out and not the other way around. You should go into the settings and in your profile set to NOT share information with partners. Also be sure to disable push notifications if you do not pay for Kinedu as they will only send advertisements to buy premium over push notifications.

Don’t get unless you plan to pay. This app *might* have good content, but everything is behind a paywall. I get a daily reminder to check my child’s activities but when I go to the app literally there is nothing there but premium content I must pay for. When I first open the app I am told about a “surprise sale” for a “limited time” but have seen this notification for months and months, seems very sales-pitchy and dishonest. I have not been convinced it’s worth it. Suggestion to provide a trial of premium content for people to see if it is helpful before asking for $$ and putting everything behind the paywall.

Password reset problems, missing community features. I love Kinedu, despite ongoing issues and recent changes. I’ve found a lot of value in the classes, on-demand content, and suggested activities. Especially the classes. Kinedu Premium is worth the cost, considering how much you learn and how much your child gets from the classes and play sessions, especially in their first year. Now, the problems I have: - community features being removed in favor of AI. I miss having direct access to other members of the Kinedu community through the app, especially as I’m back at work and can’t join as many of the live classes as I used to. I wish Kinedu kept some form of asynchronous community interaction. - the AI (Ana) isn’t really all that helpful, in my opinion. Especially because it has crashed more than once in the middle of a session, or it has failed to reach whatever service it’s using to do its thing. Past sessions with the AI are also not saved, so I have to repeat my question if I need to access the information once again at another time, or write it down before I close the app. - I’m currently locked out of my account because I’m unable to reset my password. This has been going on for weeks. I know how to reset a password, and I’m positive that the email isn’t arriving to either my inbox or my my junk mail folder. At this point, I’d like to get in touch customer service to get this sorted, but I can’t find a way to do that.

Almost there. I’ve been off and on this app since they released in Beta and it’s certainly made tremendous progress. However, the milestones still seem to be a bit off and difficult to understand as it applies to your child. For instance, my daughter (22 months) is able to identify her colors and shapes on her own. According to Kinedu, this doesn’t start until around 26-28 months. However, when I indicate her capability of completing those tasks, the milestone indicator states she’s only in the 13th percentile for kids her age. How does that equate when she’s mastering a skill you suggest she’s too young to master yet?

Premium features is a spam, don’t put credit card on. I subscribed to the premium plan. Received email from App Store says my credit card has been charged. However, when I logged into the app, it still requires me to upgrade to the premium plan. Tried to find support contact, but it was unsuccessful. Update my pervious review: contacted their support. They couldn’t see I have already purchased the premium plan. Until I sent them the screenshot of my subscription receipt. They suggested me to try to restore purchase in order to unlock my premium feature. The purchase journey is confusing.

Wonderful classes to break up the day. This app has been my happiness to break up the day while managing a new baby. We enjoy our sign language classes and learning all about the different classes offered. We do her homework daily which gets updated to her level if you update her milestones.

Great developmental activities. I downloaded this app and paid for the upgrade when my son was around 2 months old. I was looking for activities to make sure that he was learning and growing at a good pace. This app has so much that you can do with things around your house, no need to spend money on expensive games toys etc. My only bit of advice is to be careful because the app will provide you with activities based on what your child has already achieved. So if your kid is an overachiever it might suggest an activity that’s a bit advanced for your child. They do advise you of that, but you need to keep that in mind. For a few days it listed the suggested age for the activity, but I don’t see that now. It would be great if that was brought back. It’s very helpful if I’m unsure if my son is ready for the activity. Functionality of the app is good too, doesn’t freeze or shut down. Overall love the app!

Serious Bug - makes app inaccessible. So I’ve loved the app and find it super helpful in finding activities to do with my 4 month old. However the most recent time I opened the app - I received a screen stating I needed to update, and to click the button to “update now”. I do so - and am redirected to the App Store, where my only option is to “open”. I do so and I’m redirected back to the Kinedu app - and the same screen asking me to update. From what I can tell poking around, I can’t get off this update screen and I can’t find anywhere to update in the App Store. I’m stuck in this loop. Which is disappointing bc I can’t even get to app support, which has led me to leaving this review. Serious bug & problem - please fix.

Premium Not Working. I signed up for the premium plan when I first downloaded the app. It’s listed in my subscriptions and when I click on the 3 month option, it says I’m already subscribed. However, none of the premium features are working and it requires me to get the subscription. I have force closed the app, deleted and redownloaded, and clicked the restore purchases a bunch of times, but nothing is giving me the access back. I was really enjoying everything that there was to offer, but now I’m paying and I can’t access anything! **Update** After contacting customer service, they fixed my issue and have restore my purchase! Loving all of the activity suggestions and being able to track the milestones!

Great for learning, but slow loading. I love all the educational features of this app, and try to use it daily to enrich play time for my baby boy. The days I don’t get to it, I usually try to go back to and give us a whole slew of activities in a day. As a FTM, it really helps me get creative and keeps things interesting and fun for my little guy. My only problem is how long it takes some pages to load. Often times if I leave the page for the day I’m currently on, the app freezes up on either the loading screen, the screen of the previous day, or the progress screen, and I have to close it out and start over. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this app to new parents, but it could use some bug fixes.

Great ideas!. My baby hasn’t even been born yet, and this app is already helping me to find ways to interact with him/her. For example, I had no idea that if I gently tapped on my belly in the spot I felt him/her moving around, the baby would respond with even more movement! It really works. I love being able to “play” with my baby like this even before birth. I’ve looked over some of the activity ideas for after birth and can’t wait to try them out when the time comes. As a first time mom, I like having this kind of guidance about how best to interact with my baby to promote growth and development.

CONPLETE Waste of Money. Costumer Service is Nonexistent. I’m a first time mom and was checking out different apps to find something that could help me teach my son what he needs to know. I tried the free trial, only to be billed a day earlier than the trial ended (I had already decided that I wasn’t going to buy the subscription with Kinedu and planned to cancel the night before the trial ended). However I was billed $60+ for the entire year prematurely. I emailed Kinedu telling them what happened and that I wanted a refund and cancellation of my subscription. They didn’t respond to my email. I cancelled my subscription from my end, hoping to get the refund soon. It has now been almost a month and I have now reached out to the customer support team MULTIPLE times to get a refund or to AT LEAST reinstate my subscription so that I can actually use the YEARLY subscription that I was charged for!! No response. I would have called Kinedu immediately, however apparently the only form of contact is through email. ** DO NOT BUY. ** Worst service I have ever received. Biggest regret and such a waste of a lot of money.

A Household Necessity. As a first time Mom, I wasn’t sure how to make sure my daughter was developing at the right speed and how exactly I could assist her in doing so. This app completely took all my worries away. The questions they ask are things I would have never thought could determine if she was on track and it’s nice that the app tells you if they are on track or ahead! I also love the activities. I would absolutely recommend this to all new parents.

The best around. First time mom with an almost 3 month old and I have loved learning how to engage my child when he is awake. Before I had absolutely no idea how to play with him and stimulate his brain but these videos are short and straight to the point. My baby respond so well to the activities I’ve leaned to do from his plan. I also love knowing which milestones he has met so far and the ones to aim for. Thank you to everyone involved in creating this for us parents!

Need support help. I just purchased a Black Friday deal for baby sign language 101, and there are no clear instructions in accessing the classes. In fact, the Kinedu app functions as if I never made the purchase of these classes (i.e. it’s still asking for my credit card information when I go to the resources page.). So I’m not sure if it’s an app issue, but the fee has already processed through my bank account d as o I know the sessions have been purchased. I need to correspond with customer service ASAP to see what the issue is before I dispute the charge and cancel my Kinedu subscription all together. Can someone from your team help?

👍🏼. I don’t have many apps but this is one that is a must have. I have been using Kinedu since my son’s birth. Presently he’s 6 months old and pulling up trying to stand on his own. He’s babbling and has already said ‘mama’ and ‘ papa’. All children develop at different rates but, I do believe the activities I learned from Kinedu have defiantly helped my guy develop and master millstones sooner than later.

Love love LOVE this app!. I tell EVERYONE with children about this app. I find it layout of it al soooo easily accessible,and you can pick up right where you left off if you happen to miss a day or two. But the coolest thing about this app is that,1•not only does it give you an overall summary/progress report and new daily tasks to improve certain areas of your child’s development, but 2• it ALSO allows you to work together with the other parent and be on the same page with your overal child’s development! I think it’s perfect for parents who are either on different work schedules and/or those who are separated and co-parenting!

Best early learning app. As an early childhood educator, I love how easy to use and comprehensive this app is. Great videos to demonstrate children learning skills and helpful progress monitoring assessments. What I love most about this app, is the sharing and communication aspect. I can share activities that my son is ready to learn with his grandparents, dad, aunts and uncles, and nanny without needing to instruct them personally. They have found it easy to use and love the ideas to do during their playtime with my son.

Kudos to Kinedu!. Such a great app to see all that your child is doing, what they need to work on and what to get prepared for, I showed to my son’s pediatrician and she said it was a fantastic app that had in an app what they were still trying to gather on paper. It was. All the questions on his check ups have been very similar to this app, but then, with the app, you see for yourself where he/she is in the percentiles and then get SO MANY activity ideas to work on skills! It’s one of the best and most useful apps I’ve downloaded, sine we all started downloading apps!

Do Not Buy. This app doesn’t have a lot to offer to begin with but I unfortunately paid for it before discovering that so I tried to keep using it anyway. I signed up with my Apple ID and created an account and then one day my Apple ID didn’t work to sign in, it just asked me to create a new profile and pay again. I contacted customer support and they had me sign in to my previous profile with a Kinedu generated id and password. This worked once. Even after trying to change the password it will not stay logged in and I have to get a password from customer support EVERY time I want to open the app! How is it THAT broken!? They won’t even give me a refund even though I CANT use what I paid for!!

Please Read!!!. I downloaded this app today (February 2, 2020) and I was automatically asked to enter an email address and a password. Once I entered those, the app asked me a series of questions about my infant. After answering those I went to look at the app and it had automatically signed me up for the 7-day free trial subscription (or freemium as it shows on the website) for the yearly subscription. I then went to go read the reviews on the App Store, and I realized that this has happened many times before. Therefore, I am wanting to CANCEL my “free trial” before I am billed the monthly/yearly subscription purchase like other individuals I have seen in the reviews. I emailed them because there is no way to delete account or discontinue, it just sends you to your email to email the app company! This really isn’t the best! And I was hoping so much that this would work!

Loveee!. This app is amazing! It sends me notifications everyday on different things to do/try with my son! I love it I’m so thankful I saw an add & downloaded it ! I recommend it to all my mommy friends with littles & will also be recommending it to friends that are pregnant as well ! I wish I had found out about it sooner , my son’s 6 months almost 7 months. It would of also been a big help when he was born .

Impressed. I downloaded this app and did the yearly subscription and I'm so glad I did. It's being so helpful with my 2 daughters . I have a 2 and half years old toddler and a 2 months old baby and it provides me activities for both of them. Now I get to have a lot of fun with my kids and they also enjoy all the daily activities too. Thank you Kinedu I'm a happy mum

Great suggestions and milestones. I have been using Kinedu for a couple months now and find it a great resource in aiding me in creating a more rich educational experience for my daughter. It’s a great well designed app with daily suggestions for stimulating activities, and articles about development. It helps if your ever having trouble of thinking of new activities to engage your babies development. It has great milestones with common age points to help you see what is common behaviors for your child’s age group. This is one of the top apps I would suggest any new parent to have, it only helps. Many days I don’t remember to use it but it’s handy having a quick resource and idea base for helping my child develop healthier. Also if you do forget to check everyday you can go back and check the activities from the day before, it also will update according to your child’s unique progress.

It’s okay.. Sometimes it annoys me that all of the activity directions are videos. It’s nice to have the visuals, but I’m a fast reader and would prefer that, especially as I usually search for activities during nap time and try not to make noise as my baby is a light sleeper. The slowness of the videos makes this app a little tedious in my opinion. I can find activities on Pinterest much quicker. Also, it annoys me that you can’t search for the articles. I wanted to go back and show my husband one that I read and couldn’t find it. So, after trying it out, the free version is good enough for me; I’m glad I didn’t buy the subscription.

Need support. I signed up for a year subscription but it keeps telling me that I only have the free version and it also keeps charging me every month like if I didn’t get the yearly subscription. I’m a stay at home mom so usually when there’s money in my card there’s a reason behind it. I really need to fix this because I’m about ready to never get another app and my baby was seriously progressing before the app started giving me problems. Now I’ve spent most of my time trying to fix the issue which is taking time away from my daughter. -send help

Terrible. I get activity plans for my son and once I check off the completed activity, it never updates it. It will show me that same activity again. It will show activities for a baby months younger than my son. I have written Kinedu two emails about it and they don’t respond at all. They clearly know there’s a problem but they already got my money so they don’t care anymore. They just ignore you and continue to acquire more customers. You’re just a number. Baby sparks is much better. They also have good customer service. Good luck speaking to anyone from kinedu. There’s no phone number.

Glitch. This app is a great IDEA, however it’s not working properly. Just purchased the yearly upgraded subscription to find out that every time I click on a milestone it is glitching and just closing out of the app. Also not sure why I’m not seeing the same template as the one it shows in the pictures. I do not see where I can click a category for baby’s age like 0-2 months which is what I’m looking into and see what milestones my baby should be reaching. Not sure what’s going on with this app. I feel like I just wasted money unfortunately. I was REALLY looking forward to having a tool to help me along with my first born coming in July.

Bad interface. I haven’t started using the app yet, but I have a lot of problems already . When I opened the app right after I turned it on . It says the yearly member is 70 USD. I did not want to pay without knowing what is the app about . Then I sipped it. Afterwards , I decide to give it a trial and want to go back to the yearly 70USD. Then , I couldn’t find it anymore . Everywhere I presses, it is 90USD per year . Then, I think maybe I should just pay for the lifetime membership. I checked the 150 USD and they still charge me the 90USD yearly!!!! What is going on ? I have already sent an email . Hopefully they can have a better app for purchasing . I am already very unhappy with my billing experience . The app’d better works after all these troubles I need to go through with a 5-days old new born at home 🤬🤬🤬

I like the idea of an app, but hate logos and opening frames in the videos. I like an app, it gives lots of timely, useful info. But what I really don’t like about the app are videos! I think Kinedu logos and “what-part-of-the-brain” frames are totally useful! Hey, I only have 30 sec to see the video while playing with my baby, and I don’t want to spend time watching Kinedu logo or what part of the brain I’m going to develop. Please, please remove these parts from videos. Videos should show the actual activity with the baby - nothing more!

Awesome. Although they raised the price I think $10, it’s honestly worth it. I didn’t realize how awesome the app was until I stopped using it. They hit every development point the average person doesn’t understand a child needs. Gives you multiple simple, quick activities a day and they really are personalized. They will often reevaluate where your child is at and take out or put in activities to fit your child’s needs. The free examples definitely don’t do the app justice imo

No content unless you pay. There is basically zero content or activities unless you pay a monthly subscription. Everywhere you go in the app it tells you to upgrade, upgrade, upgrade. Everything is locked unless you pay. For example, today I only had one free 30-second video available to me about putting toys slightly out of reach for my baby to encourage crawling. A quick google search would have given me that tip, so I’m deleting the app and will just google “activities to do with a 6 month old” and get the info that way. This app hasn’t given me any reason to think their locked content is better than what I can find for free elsewhere. Pretty disappointing.

Great for Maternity Leave. This app provides wonderful, quick, and easy activities to keep in mind when you are spending (hours and hours of) time with your baby. It is one thing to be aware of the major developmental milestones, but this app gives great ideas for low-resource ways to build skills daily. A lot of them reflect ways an experienced caregiver would naturally interact with a baby anyway, but this structure and information are perfect for new parents, nannies and babysitters, aunts and uncles as well as grandparents. My oldest child also loved watching the activity videos with me, learning about the brain, and most of all practicing age-appropriate ways he could safely play with his baby brother. Highly recommend trying it!

Disappointing. I really wish I could get a refund for this, as a single mom on a budget it is a huge waste of money. Most of the stuff on here are kind of common sense. Or too advanced for my 2 month old to the point where I questioned if he was as not on track with his development( he is just stubborn) do not get this, look up baby activities or ask your pediatrician to send you something to help with monthly milestones.... do not spend your money! Again the option for a refund would be nice.... yeah you get a sample of it and then decide to purchase however then trial is so limited that you feel you are missing out on so much so you subscribe and then realized you wasted money... could have gotten my son some cute clothes, toys or books and would have been so much happier.

Confusing app, constant upsell, spammy emails. This app is terrible! I entered my baby’s age and tried to explore the daily developmental activities, but the UI was too confusing to get very far. There were about 20 different things to click on in the layout, and the first half had nothing to do with the activities I should do with my baby. They were trying to get me to take classes, participate in Q&A, and tell me the importance of breastfeeding. When I finally found the developmental activities, they were so simple I had to laugh. Have your baby look at their surroundings, really? I was looking for creative activities I wouldn’t think of on my own as a first time mom. Every time I clicked on something or tried to return to the main menu, the app would try to upsell me to pay for a subscription. I also got THREE emails from Kinedu within two hours of downloading the app, which was overboard and intrusive. Lastly, I tried to look up others’ experiences with Kinedu on Reddit and noticed the co-founder kept commenting on every thread telling people why this app is so wonderful. Why don’t you let actual users discuss their experience? I deleted this app already and will keep looking.

Best activity App!!!!. I have enjoyed using this app for 3.5 years now and wow I love it. I do not write reviews ever but I just want any parent that is on the fence about getting this app to know that it’s worth it. My kids enjoy all the activities and it great for helping me know what I need to work on. It’s also great for building a bond with your child and helping to open the door for communication.

Educational ideas. So far, this has been great 0-4 months old suggesting age appropriate activities to stimulate growth and development, especially so early. Being first time parents, it’s hard to know with so many resources out there what to choose. Kinedu is an easy option because it gives really quick, easy-to-follow stepwise activities on a daily basis. We make time in the day to complete our activities right after his second nap when he is alert and awake!

Why would I pay for this?. You can’t expect people to dish out money monthly when a lot of sample activities are literally just “let your baby look around” and similar obvious “activities.” I get that there is not much to do with a young baby, that’s fine, then stop making so many “activities” and only make a few that are actually quality. This app used to be really helpful a few years ago but you've made it so limited to the non subscriber and not in a way that makes you want to pay for the service

Low usability and extremely poor customer service. I’ve had too many issues with this app (and the people behind it) to recommend it. Let me just say, if you download it and then get invited to a program that costs 270/month, just say no. Who pays that much for access to content you could just as easily Google? Honestly, I feel duped by them. They basically charged me to work as part of their focus group (should’ve been the other way around). The app is at best a work in progress. Great in theory but it just does not deliver. The videos are incredibly tedious and any content specific to your child is inconsistent and confusing. Again, just google it. Absolutely do NOT spend any money on this app. They’re very communicative when you’re paying, then totally unprofessional and MIA when they can no longer benefit from you (which is consistent with some other reviews I’ve now seen).

Necessity. This is my first child and I seriously didn’t know what to do with her all day and if I was doing things that might slow her progress! This is so helpful in coming up with activities that help her grow and develop. Plus other helpful articles that answer questions you may have be wondering. Well worth the money

I love it. This app was the best thing that could have happened to me as a new mom. Not only it gave me ideas on what to do with my baby when we are together but also helped to speed up my baby’s development. As I follow the activities frequently, I see my baby is way ahead in terms of physical coordination, human interaction and many other skills, if compared to his most of his peers. Not to mention I’m always up to date in terms of where my baby needs to be at. The articles are always helpful and have saved me in many situations as well. Best help ever!

Waste of time!. I downloaded this app and it doesn’t even work. Upon opening the app for the first time I was prompted to make an account or sign in through Apple, etc. I decided to make an account and I entered my email address and created a password. On the next screen, I had to enter information such as my name and that I’m a mom. When I click the continue button nothing happens. I closed the app, restarted my phone and tried again. This time it asked me to set up a profile for my baby so I entered the information but when I click continue nothing happens. It’s like the continue buttons are unresponsive. This app is a waste of time! I couldn’t even get past the account creation in order to use the app. I never write reviews but this app frustrated me because I didn’t even get the opportunity to use it. I’m going to delete the app now.

Great app, great content… unbearably slow. I love the milestones, the charts and most of the activities. It’s a great tool for a new parent. It is unbearably slow, like sometimes-give-up-slow. When it opens, when you do any action, when you switch between kids, all of it. Also, do you really need a full screen takeover every single time I open the app to sell me the clases? I am aware thank you, but if I’ve tapped close 30 times… is this time really that likely to be different.

Love it! One small suggestion. We love the app and the activities, especially with both written and video instructions! We have a premium account so we can have multiple family members and nanny. Would be awesome if the “share” function had an option to share with other members on you account with a little note - so we can inform nanny and vice versa of the result or challenges with certain activities. Thanks for a great development app! I have recommended to friends with babies!

Very helpful App!. I have been using Kinedu since my child was born. It has been over a year and it still helps me come up with fun ideas! As a first time parent, I did not know what I should be looking for, working on, etc. with my child. Kinedu gave me gentle guidelines and fun activities that are easy and low stress and fun to do every day! It gave me the peace of mind as a new parent to know I was fostering growth in my baby! Love this app! Will definitely continue to use it and will use it again if we have another baby!

Great app for first time parents!. I am a first time mom and my husband and I had no idea what to do to help her development. We didn’t want to play with her for the sake of playing, we wanted to ensure we were doing what we could to help her hit her developmental milestones. I personally had some post natal complications so I’ve been on leave for 16 weeks now, and I am so thankful for this app! It has given me so many good ideas of what to do with my baby day in and day out. And if you complete your daily activities, you can look up more. I appreciate that you can look up activities by skills you want to work on (cognitive, physical, language, linguistic, social emotional). Additionally, if you don’t have the materials or there is an activity that you’re not into doing that day, you can switch it. I also like that you can track milestones on the app. I only have 4 stars because sometimes the app glitches.

Constant updates. Hi - I appreciate the need to improve the app. However, it seems to be constant. Every time that I receive a push notification with an article or video that looks interesting to me and I click on it, the app opens and says that I need to update. Then, when I update and open the app, I’m asked to update my child’s progress, etc and have to search for the information I was interested in in the first place. I can’t remember the last time I was simply able to click on a notification and have it open in the app. It’s so frustrating!

Super useful. This app has been a blessing for my high energy baby. Our baby’s brain has been ahead of his body since he was two weeks old and the app has been a good tool for us to help his body catch up to the things it wants to do. The app is easy to use and the materials that some of the activities require are thing you usually have lying around the house. Our baby is 6 months now and we still love using it, we used the free version up until a week ago and we finally upgraded to have full access both versions are super helpful.

Some good ideas. My favorite part of this app is the milestone progress section. It really helps me know how my son is doing as he is learning and growing. I’m not the largest fan of some of the activities. Some of them seem to be listed for the wrong ages. So read them carefully and judge if you think you infant really should be doing them. Also, it is a bit pricey to get full access. The free version does give you access to the milestones and one activity per day.

Paid for premium but app doesn’t recognize. I paid basically $40 for premium subscription for a year but the app tells me I only have 3 more free activities unless I pay for premium. I’ve checked my credit card statement and I’ve already been charged for it. Also when we’re doing activities which involve milestones my baby has already achieved, the only way to complete the activity is to hit the small “Not yet” link at the bottom even though that’s misleading because my baby has already achieved those milestones. The app needs work and I feel like I’ve been scammed.

Great for baby's development and more. I'm using this app for the third time, with third babe. Not only does it help monitor and gently promote your baby's all rounded development, it educates and provides links to other resources also. I love it :)

App keeps crashing?!. This seems like it would be a FANTASTIC app but it keeps crashing. I have the latest version. It keeps crashing when I try to add family members of switch tabs. I’ve tried the contact support butting within the App Store but it keeps bringing me back to the review page. Would love to get this working. Please help!

Great. We use this app every weekday. Our baby has gotten so used to it, that he gets cranky when we skip a day.

Doesn't load. Tried to create an account- gets to the part where you out in child's name and just doesn't load. Disappointing.

Way too expensive. $69.99 per year, and that’s at 40% off - No thanks! It’s a shame the cost isn’t revealed prior to setting up a profile and completing the assessment. Looks like it would be a great app but I can’t justify paying that for information accessible for free online.

Taking money out!. Why are you taking money out of my account? I can’t seem to see a subscription in my sub subscription area in my App Store! I only used this app for two days to try it out and I’ve been charged again! You say to cancel via App Store but there is no subscription there! When I went to cancel subscription on app after digging and digging to find it you locked me out of my account and every time I try change password you tell me you sent an email and you didn’t! You’re a very deceiving app

Waste of time. Don't bother with this app. Once you finally get past the initial assessment and try and get started nothing happens. Waste of time. If I could give it no stars I would. Very disappointing.

Beware of automatic yearly renewal.. It’s a good app but beware of the automatic yearly renewal. I downloaded the app to try but ended up using it once or twice cause im busy. Tried to change the subscription but wasnt easy until i received a receipt from apple where you could click report a problem in the email. I tried to have it refunded but it says that “ We've determined that your purchase doesn't meet the conditions for a refund. “ so yeah, i wasted 100 bucks.

Actual cost is $110 - a bit of a scam that they don’t tell you upfront. Only after you download it and give them all your private details do they actually let you know it costs $110 per year, with only a 7-day free trial. I would call that a scam - concealing the actual prove from users.

Baby’s age is out. Had high expectations for this app but upon signing up, first it got stuck on the page where you enter your details. After reloading multiple times it finally loaded. Then I noticed that my baby’s age is a month out. The date of birth is correct. But it says she is one month old when she is actually two. So all developmental milestones are out by a month making the app useless for me.

Great concept but the app doesn't load...,. Nothing much further to say really. I get a loading page with a helpful tip on baby raising, but I don't get any further unfortunately. Have tried all the reinstall tricks to no avail.

Mail account ???. I have signed up for premium and now cannot reduce or delete my subscription. Every option I press requires a mail account to be set up but I cannot see any option to set one up- this is required to access help as well? Very disappointed and I believe this is theft as I will be charged for this tomorrow with no way of deleting the app.

Activities not great, customer service very poor. I really liked the concept of this app so I downloaded it and paid for a yearly subscription. However, I found the activities are not challenging enough for my son. My son is meeting all of his milestones a little bit early or on time, so he is not super advanced or anything. Nonetheless, the app asks you to confirm list after list of which milestones they have reached and I have wasted so much time doing this, only to be recommended ideas that are boring for him/not engaging because the difficulty level is so low. My son is 14 months old and I still get recommended activities like “Sitting - to help your baby reach the sitting positions” when he is so beyond that. He is running! And I have updated that in the milestones page too! I contacted Kinedu and they didn’t assist me by providing more challenging activities/suggestions and refused to refund me even a partial amount of the subscription cost that I paid. Since I have paid for it, I have logged back in from time to time over the past couple of months and updated the milestones pages, but the activities are just not good. Furthermore, I found that most of the activities require some kind of set up which makes the app not practical to just whip out on a rainy day with your child and start an activity straight away. You have to watch the videos for the activity and since we don’t do screens with our son, I found it hard to watch them with him around. I could be wrong but I think this app is designed for younger babies, maybe 0-6 months old. However, that’s the stage where they get fascinated by lying under a tree looking at the leaves and a kitchen utensil like a spatula is the best thing they’ve ever seen, so I personally wouldn’t pay for the subscription then either.

Bad customer service. I have paid for premium but mu content is still locked. It was open but then it got locked. No one is answering my emails.

I suggest some little Improvement. They could go a little more into details with the activities and not to repeat them so much. They should also send you weekly articles about your child development and what to expect. Apart from that, the app is really useful and gives you nice ideas

Terribly difficult to load. I find this app never loads correctly on my iPhone XS Max. I have space, high speed connection and it just won’t load. Very disappointed.

Once off fee would be better.... This app looks amazing in theory, I’d pay a once off fee to use the activities but so much money per MONTH?!? I’d be more interested if it was more affordable and better value for money.

Very helpful. I love this app because I can see where my baby is developmentally and I can then teach my baby the appropriate traits and skills. You can also adjust the lessons if they are to easy or too hard so that you can do activities that are just right. I’ve noticed my baby can be advanced in some areas and lacking in others so I skip ahead to hard lessons or I go back to an easier one to help develop into the skill that may be lacking. Over all I love this app, gives me a guide to what to do with my baby, cause sometimes we as moms can get lost as to what to do and what stage our baby is and what they do at that stage.

Activities for baby. Lots of activities for me to do with my baby. Each day we do the previous activities plus the one given for the current day. I'd highly recommend this app to other mothers.

So many spam emails. How many times a day do you need to market to us? My phone is constantly going off.

Wolf in sheep’s clothing. I installed it yesterday and I’ve been bombarded by emails, push notifications and in-app ads pushing me to subscribe: it’s not usable, useful or respectful. It feels like there’s half-decent content, but it’s impossible to evaluate with all of the noise. They need to hire a product or UX manager.

Super helpful!. You can’t really see the features of this app unless you pay for it but it’s worth it! The activities are varied even if you’re working in the same areas unlike BabySparks which I found repeated the same activities day after day. The one article posted daily is always an interesting read. Overall, there’s just enough for one day without being overwhelming. I wish they wouldn’t post the Kinedu branding at the start and end of each video. 20 seconds of advertising for a minute video is too much. It’s annoying. I’ve already paid for the app, I don’t need to be advertised to!

Great app. Love using this app! As a first time mom, I found it very difficult coming up with ways to engage my daughter in learning activities! This app helped me play with her while teaching her all at the same time ! Perfect !

Free trial?. I’m trying to experience free trial you offer, but only 2 activity at first day was open and the rest free trial days are locked, I wanted to know how I like this app before deciding on subscription. It was already asking for subscription “purchase” like demand 😕

It stole my money... Don’t get me wrong I love this app so I actually spent the money for one year. After I paid for the one year I tried to see what it unlocked for me. An to my surprise it didn’t even unlock anything it just continues to tell me I have to pay for the premium even though I literally just did. Before purchasing the one year premium I loved it. However now that it stole my money I wouldn’t recommend. !

Where did the “free” part go?. Been using and recommending this app since 2021. Now my kid is nearly 3yo. I checked in today for the 3 “free” daily activities and they were all behind a pay wall. Does this app work at all without a subscription? Disappointing. Won’t ever recommend again.

Helpful. Helpful app to give us a good activities that are age appropriate. Would be nice if milestones/activities were adjusted to factor in the current pandemic (I.e., if the suggested activity is going to the grocery store & interacting with people/strangers - this just doesn’t happen given the current state of the world).

Good app for track child’s milestones. Great place to track and learn milestone which my child need to meet and completed. Has lots of resources… to the point, looking at the main page of app overwhelm me with live class, reading materials, video, etc. Each activity that they have on app provide how to play and interact with baby to meet milestones and what it does, etc. when the activity is completed as child is able to do it repetitively, mark as ‘done’, app ask types of milestone that child achieved. Have not tried live class and chat function, hard to make comments about it. Video materials that they already have are enough at this time for me to utilize. 👍🏻

Unhappy with how quickly activities lock. This app is pretty good, but the activities lock very quickly. They should at least be available for 1 week. They always lock before I’m able to try them all. I am not paying $100 a year for activities I can find elsewhere on the internet for free.

Extremely over priced. They charged $112.99 after the 7 day free trial and no email reminders that your subscription is coming up so your locked in. As a mother of an 8 week old who has enough on their mind this was infuriating. There is no reason to pay $112.99 for information you can get for free on YouTube and they don’t offer returns. Don’t get screwed over like I did and save your money. Who was $112 on maternity leave are you insane?!

False advertising. Does not adapt to individual baby needs especially if advanced. My baby crawled at 6m, walked at 8 and I’m getting activities to encourage push to crawl even when I checked off all the milestones completed. Very disappointed to have paid for this. No support. Baby sparks adjusts much better.

Stopped working on first day. I downloaded this apps and as soon as I entered all my information and got access to the app, it stopped working on it! I tried restarting it and still doesn’t work..

Grateful!. I’m glad I found this app. As a first time parent, it’s been very helpful in assisting us with development and play from day one. Especially with having a very premature baby, it’s helped us to identify milestones and support us with ensuring we’re nurturing growth stage by stage.

Have to purchase. Baby is 10 months now and all of the exercises have a crown on them so I cannot access anything without having to pay for premium.

Wonderful application. This app is absolutely wonderful. The activity doesn’t request any expensive material. It is all very simple but great diversity. Love how every activities are described and explained to parents so we understand what is the development purpose of the activity. We all get tired and lack of imagination to keep our little one occupied and thriving , but with this app you won’t lack of ideas!! The only down side is that it is quite expensive, but they regularly have a sale. Would definitely recommend this app!

Kept billing after I requested cancellation. I tried twice to cancel this subscription because it’s just too expensive CAD $19.99 plus tax. Every time I requested cancellation The app kept asking if I wanted to keep the subscription for a lower amount and I declined and requested cancellation. TWICE my request was ignored and they kept billing the full amount to my card. I requested a refund and Apple’s answer was: “We've determined that your purchase doesn't meet the conditions for a refund”. VERY disappointed, I cancelled the subscription AGAIN today and if I am charged again in February I will be extremely upset and will make a lot of noise with complaints. Do not get hooked with their monthly subscription, it’s just not worth it. You can get the same quality of video content in YouTube.

Same game every few days. The app just keeps giving me the same 5 games over and over even after I mark them as done.

App has too many glitches and costs too much. The app is a great idea. Lots of useful info for parents. However, using the app is cumbersome. It takes over 5-6 minutes just to open the app (even after making sure IOS is up to date and all the usual settings are in order on iPhone8. Clicking on certain tabs also takes a very long time to load. The ads and promotional content is overbearing, and the app is so restrictive in its free content that there is not enough on offer to keep me returning. Sometimes I’d like to use the app, but I am often deterred due to the long load times and I end up just shutting it down. If these issues were addressed and the app was more accessible to all parents - not just wealthy parents - then I’d consider investing in it. But ultimately, I can get this info elsewhere.

Love the concept, but app doesn’t work properly on Apple TV. I’m really enjoying getting activities every day to help stimulate my son. However, the app updates my daily activities properly on my iPhone app, but not on my Apple TV app. I’m trying to find some assistance online with this but to no avail.

Premium payer with no access. I don’t know what’s happening since November 2023 the app went down. I’m not able to login and I’m a premium subscriber, a lot of content is missing and if you ask they doesn’t care. Don’t have barely classes to watch anymore. Not having a good experience. First of all - I purchased one month to test this because of the daily tips that were matching what my baby is going through. However, there is never a link to what is being suggested!! Example: A gentle massage can help vour baby become aware of the movements their body can make: it can also strengthen their muscles and even help them sleep better. Try out this massage today and make it part of your routine! But there is no link to follow this! And this is the second time that it’s happened. When you ask the Ai help (yea, computer, there is no actual person to talk to in the app) it directed me to find this in a place that does not exist on the phone. Baby profile > Activities > Massage and relaxation. What? And as for the classes, any that are actually sounding good, you need to pay extra. Wish I can get my money back..

Amazing app for baby development!. Couldn’t recommend this app enough! It’s been a total lifesaver in this quarantine. Me and my wife are always looking for new ideas to entertain our toddlers and this app has it all!

Purchased Premium, Not Granted Access. I purchased the premium subscription at a promotional rate yesterday. I contacted customer service 2 times because I am not being granted access to the premium articles and activities. I provided customer with screenshot evidence that I purchased the premium subscription but they keep giving me the same “solution” that is not working. I will update my review pending I am granted access to premium or am given a refund.

Great guidance. This is an incredibly useful app and tool to aid parents / caregivers to help develop their children. This is especially helpful for parents who need guidance on age appropriate activities. I love this app. I use it very often and am grateful for the videos, articles and most importantly as a guide. Each activity video tells which part of the brain the activity exercises. It’s awesome.

Free version is full of annoying pop ups and ads. Seriously, not even worth it to use the app because you find yourself constantly closing ads or accidentally clicking on them. I’m so upset, it makes me want to buy the full version even LESS than before. Sure there are some cute daily tips how to keep the baby busy but you can find that anywhere. Not sure what all the hype is about but the ads make it an unusable and unworthy download.

Not worth the $. They repeat the same exercise a lot I updated my sons assessments he’s been crawling for a while now and it still brings up exercises for him to learn how to crawl. I even tried to change the exercise and it’s still not advanced enough for him. It’s not something new really every day They just repeat the same exercise again and again even if your baby has hit the mile stones.

Not for my kid. My kid was above the curve learning to crawl very well at 6 months old. I think it is a good idea but they didn’t give an update on other things to do for my kid even though he is already mastered those abilities. I felt the activities were obvious and not creative. It is helpful if you need ideas but I don’t see how I would pay anything for this. I’ll just find ideas online and supplement his playing already.

App never worked. I downloaded this the 1st time a few months ago to use with my grandson - alway froze up. Deleted the app and reinstalled it and tried to used it and just never loaded any pages. My grandson is now 5 months old and now it says I don’t have the Latest version and to update now yet when it opens in the App Store it shows it was just updated 2 days ago to the latest version available. So sad I have yet been able to use this app.

Nothing free. I could not find one free activity or anything in the half hour I tinkered with it. I found a few articles about the importance of breastfeeding etc. there was also an ad every time I closed something or went to a different page. Why not make you pay upfront ad say that there are no free activities before making us use our emails to create an account. Now I have 4 emails from them and haven’t even had the app for a day.

Waste of Time. I was really excited to see some videos and articles about development that pertained to where my daughter is in her development. I went through the assessment of my baby and realized I couldn’t see very many videos without paying $40 for the annual fee, and it was “65%” off. I could see paying a few bucks, but $40 is a little ridiculous!! As a new mother, I have questions and LOVE to research different topics. Stinks that I wasted my time!!

Kinedu. This app is like having a friend who has my baby’s interest at heart. I appreciate the many activities and the in depth descriptions and suggestions for my baby’s development. I am a first time mom and recommend this to any mom or family member.

Highly recommended. I like the custom activities based on the survey of my LO. My parents and in-laws use it too and get inspiration on how to play with the baby. For some reason, after I update her progress the app crashes when I dismiss writing a review. It’s happened 5 times now. Hopefully with the new update it will resolve this issue.

Great tool for development activities. I love using Kinedu for creative ways to engage with my baby. I wouldn’t be able to think of all of these activities on my own. I also appreciate that you can track progress towards milestones. I would highly recommend, especially for new parents.

App Doesn’t Connect Family Members. We were super excited to use this app as a family! But, when we tried to add a family member, the link did not work and instead created two accounts for our family that were not linked and I could not access our family’s plan as it tried to make me pay for a second account. Wish the app would work correctly, but now I’m forced to try and receive a refund. Don’t waste your time or money, I cannot get in touch with their team now.

Not worth the cost. The free version is fine but paying for the app isn’t worth it. I did the upfront one year subscription for a discounted cost of $25 and wish I could get a refund. The activities are repetitive and most of them arent creative (“have your baby smell fruit”). The activities are also basically one minute activities that don’t last long. I’m sure it’s hard to come up with that many activities but it’s still disappointing when you pay for it.

So helpful for preemie development. I love the Kinedu app! It’s been really helpful and given me peace of mind that I’m doing everything I can for my little One. My favorite thing is how it adjusted for her preemie age! There are so many things to keep track of and this app just helps me stay organized.

Love Kinedu. This app has given me great ideas for my baby's early development. I have seen all the progress and have been tracking it all along. I really trust their content, they know what they’re talking about.

Mom of 10 month old. I love that you can track your baby’s development. The assessment questions are clear and let you know whether your child is on track or not. The exercises are also a great tool and make for a fun time!

Great app!. I love Kinedu! Very doable exercises/activities that I look forward to completing with my newborn every day. Connecting with my baby expanding our universe. Kinedu has helped me better understand my baby’s universe and becoming a Helpful and joyful part of it. I am now using it also for pre natal and it’s been a great experience.

100% recommended. First time parents! And only new a few milestones I was supposed to look for. But this steps it up. Love the app!. I am always trying to figure out what to do with my toddler... here I have so many ideas! And my tot loves them! Only complaint though, the activities are repetitive, but I guess is also part of the way of teaching them. However, you can switch activities if you want.

The ads for this app are a scam. Downloaded this app after getting really excited when I saw an ad for a FREE baby development app- and after downloading, almost immediately the app wanted $80 for a year subscription and had no option for anything free. And once you manage to bypass that, there is absolutely no content available without a subscription. Terrible.

So GRATEFUL!. This app has taught me SO MANY different ways to interact with my newborn and now infant (I’ve been using Kinedu for 6 months). If you are struggling with what to do with your new baby, like I was, get Kinedu! It will seriously change your LIFE!

Life changing. I was very unsure of which app to use for my newly born child. So glad I chose kinedu! The activities are great, easy to complete with household items, and my baby loves them! Definitely seeing an improvement in his motor and cognitive skills. Five stars!

Premium purchase bugs. I went to buy a monthly subscription as I will be home with my preschooler just over the summer (I'm a teacher). After pressing the monthly subscription several times and verifying the purchase through the app store, I received an error message. I pressed the yearly subscription button to see if it would work. Then both charges came through at the same time. Now, Apple is not allowing me a refund of the yearly subscription, although I obviously don't need to have both

A complete disaster. pay a month of the most expensive membership with the intention of discovering the content and if the app is worth paying the annual subscription. For my surprise, the app has a complicated and not very intuitive usability, the content they promise is mixed and difficult to explore. They offer live classes, but the three times I tried to connect, I was only able to enter once, the other zooms were not enabled, this one time I was able to enter, the "expert" did not attend, nor is there a place to see the recorded classes as they offer. Finally, a great idea bad executed and a scam to take money from parents who want to do the best for our children.

Unable to Cancel. I’m not sure if it’s a glitch in the App Store or within the app but I canceled the subscription via my phone settings (iPhone) and was advised it was canceled and I could continue to use until the last day of the trial and it would automatically not renew. Woke up today to see $70 taken from my account for the yearly subscription for this app. So there is my gas and lunch money. I’ve never had this issue with any other app. Anytime I have a trial I always go in to cancel as soon as I download. Very disappointed

So so. I like the app for the activities for baby, but the push notifications are pointless. They send them and it never fails, it’s something that I want to read up on and I click it and it doesn’t work. It takes me to the loading screen, but never loads. I have updated the app, my phone, done it on WiFi, and just my cell service, but it NEVER works when you click on the push notifications!!

Love the free version. The free version is great, but I wouldn’t pay for the membership. I love to track where my baby is at and what he can do. The articles are informative, but you can’t save them unless you pay. The videos for the daily activities start in the middle for some reason.

Family plan not working. I got a premium account so that my nanny could use the suggested activities. We have spent months trying to get her access to it. Nothing seems to work. At this point we would be better off all using the free accoubt instead. I wish I could cancel dnd get my money back. Such a waste.

Must have!!. I’m a first time mom and I’m always trying to search things to help my LO achieve her milestones. This App not only helps with that but also taught me things that I didn’t know my LO can do at 2 months. With premium they give you different activities you can do with your baby and if you have any questions they respond to you. Love, love, LOVE this app.

Repetitive and bad billing. I wanted to love this app. First time mom, desperate for guidance, figured it was worth the money. I was wrong. The first month was okay but I quickly realized the activities were the EXACT SAME 2 or 3 activities just with a different narrative. I followed the instructions to stop the auto billing and canceled my account. I got busy with life/returning to work and forgot to check the account. Three months later, I learned Kinedu had just ignored my cancelation directions and had continued to bill me $10/mo. Poor form, Kinedu team.

Definitely has great ideas!. This ap has given me some great activities To do with my baby! As a first time mom I have no idea what I’m doing so to be given daily activities to do with my little one it’s been exciting for both of us!

App stopped working. Initially I liked the app when I first downloaded a few months ago. However it gradually began to stop working for me. It started with my daily plan never displaying. If I wanted to access an activity I had to go to over plan page and choose from there. Defeats the purpose of have a plan provided based of my child’s development. Now the app will not load at all. When I open the app it stays on the “Loading” page. So now I can’t even use it. On top of this, I paid for the annual subscription. Waste of money!

It’s useful. I like using this app to help with my daughter’s developmental skills and exercising but what I don’t like about it is having to pay for it why isn’t it just free I like that certain videos are free because they are useful but I can’t really do anything else otherwise without buying the complete application 2 free videos aren’t enough for me... I would like a version where everything is free please.

Subscribed but still getting adds. The app itself is not bad, but even if you are part of a family with a premium subscription, your going to get daily push notifications about all the reasons and promotions to get a premium subscription. I get more advertising notifications than notifications about my kid. If they don’t change it, we’ll probably drop the service.

Great so far!. This app will definitely help me keep my interactions with and activities for my baby more varied and interesting. Without it I just kept doing the same things over and over each day. I’m loving it so far!

Don’t Bother Unless You Pay. This app may be great for the paid version but the free version is completely worthless. After the setup (which takes a while) I went to try my first activity today. I got a towel ready (which they said was the material I’d need) and started the activity. It was a short video about the recommended safe sleep position. That’s it. I’m sorry but I’m not paying $90/yr to a company that can’t even give a fair sample of its product.

Past review: I ve enjoyed using the app for the past month, but it stopped working for the past few days, right after I payed for the premium version. Very disappointing ! Can someone help?

Must have!. I am amazed how much info is on this app. It’s definitely helps me to make sure that I’m teaching my son skills that are important for development and for future things. I recommend every mommy & daddy to get this app! You will not be disappointed.

Why are dads excluded from app?. Love the app, however I wish it were more inclusive with dads, from the app illustration to profile details and lack of activity videos with dads. I actually looked for this app per his request and find it unfortunate that it makes parenting seem like an exclusively motherly responsibility. Please keep up with our progress within society and reflect on app. Thanks!!

Takes advantage of New Parents! Autosubscribe warning!. I bought this for my newborn and barely used it the first year of her life. Like any absentminded and working parent I lost track of time and before I knew it autosubscribe was due! I canceled on the day it was set to renew but Apple won't let you do it unless it's 24 hours or more in advance! Now Kinedu nor Apple will refund my $40 for this year. Terrible customer service and obviously basic content if I as a first-time mother stopped using it after a few months. Buyer beware!

Awesome. I LOVE this app because it has videos to explain the activities!!! This has been so helpful coming up with different activities. I just open in the morning and go through the different ideas.

Great for parents.. Love this app and it allows u to help baby grow step by step. It needs a few bug fixes because the screen freezes sometimes. But generally, it’s an important baby brain development app parents should not miss out on.

Sounds helpful & informative, not so much. I haven’t found the information on Kinedu very helpful or informative. The initial assessment that you’re asked to complete determines a lot, but my baby hadn’t reached all of the milestones, and there’s not a way to select n/a, not yet, etc. You just have to skip the question and it skews the supposedly ‘tailored” updates and activity suggestions. Overall, it’s not worth the almost $40 investment. I’m researching now if I can get a refund.

Will not load. I bought the program, and I have been trying to load the app, and it won’t load to show me the videos, but will show the text congratulating me on how old my kid is now. Super frustrating. For the first few weeks they only gave me the same 2 videos to watch...so far, overall disappointing.
