Well I Never.... This is the only game I've EVER played without using the guide...line by line...cuz I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer!! The HOS were inventive. Loved the panda in the bath & the raccoon in the garbage can. The only things I would change are having access to the guide in the game & making the HOS sharper. I even laughed out loud a few times. Everything made sense for a change. I'll be playing this again.

If you play then you have buy. It is a good game until you get to the point where you have to pay to play any further.. So unless you want to buy it then don't waste your time!!!

Steampunk and spider lady what a delightful combination. Nice story, clear crisp graphics, enchanting HO scenes. Steampunk overtones are charming. Clear concise instructions on games, teleporting map and collectible posters to watch for. Simply charming! Well done!

Lovin it so far!. Seems to have all the bells and whistles needed to make a great game.....map, journal, labeled inventory etc. It's playing in a logical sequence to the storyline...something I don't always find in these games.

It made for a great game, and you have kindly told me the new Phantasmat will be fine too, so now I can really look forward to it! Love to you and Bunkie! This game was terrific! The story was very easy to follow, absolutely no confusion. That's great, because I am an old lady and I like to understand the game as well as play it! Great graphics and zoom, decent cutscenes, beautiful scenery! It was fairly lengthy. There was a return (back) button, so you didn't accidentally exit a scene. The HO scenes were fun because you had to take extra steps! Nice balance of HO scenes and puzzles. The puzzles were quite diverse, and some of them were quite mind-bending! There were a bunch of beautiful posters to find for an extra achievement. The inventory was labeled, and there was a labeled teleport map, with marked objectives. However, in the last chapter, my map didn't work. There was a journal, but it wasn't extremely helpful, and the strategy guide was just OK. The hint system did not ruin anything for you. The reason I am taking off a star is because I had to tap extra hard and it was slightly glitchy. Also, the load time was not instantaneous when using the map, or when you closed the journal. However, BigFish, this game did possess all the qualities we HOAG players love! Thanks for a fabulous game! More quality games please!

Do not buy until this bug is fixed. After giving the uncle the morphine, there is no body next to the train so you cannot complete the game

Great game. This was one of the best hidden object games from big fish games that I've played thus far. I love completing the game and the bonus round.

What a Lovely Web of Deceit You Weave!. From the title Web of Deceit: Deadly Sands, I was expecting all spiders, all the time. So far, about halfway, there are more scenes of a desert city and a circus! Nice! Yes, the Spider Villainess does bite citizens and poison them. You are fighting both the mother and daughter of this duo. However, to this point they have been mostly mysterious, since they have the ability to morph into the shape of another human in order to further their schemes. The Hint button functions nicely, encircling whatever items you need, or guiding you to a particular location. The Map does transport you and show available actions. Skip also works quickly, and recharges fast in Casual mode. As others have mentioned, there are assorted humorous touches such as the panda drinking a cocktail in the tub. Your brother, who has been poisoned by the woman spider, is along with you. You are busy trying to both treat him and thwart the spiders. Puzzles are varied and similar to other games like this. I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent quality of this game and its art work! I highly recommend this for exciting fun!

Can't tell if I like it. I've had to restart the game 3 times because when I log out it doesn't save my progress and I have to start over. Can't tell if I even like it or not.

No town named Transvaal. Transvaal is a province in South Africa not a name of a town. Game is boring if I had to hear if I had eight legs one more time I would scream!! Would not get even if it was free.

Great game. Finally another good game from bigfish. Not that it really makes up for that ridiculous Midnight Castle game (scam) or those stupid Fairway games. Hope more games like this one come SOON!

Deadly. Poor quality scenes, slow motion from scene to scene, deleted before I was very far into it.

Pretty good. Graphics are very clear and interesting to look at. Story line is keeping my attention and even surprises me once in awhile. HO are bright with additional interaction to find the object. Wow and some of the puzzles are hard. I've actually had to skip a few. I do recommend this game

Beautifully done and very entertaining. The graphics and voice overs are beautifully done in this game. The HOS are creative and the items are recognizable plus you can zoom as needed to help find them. The map is very helpful allowing you to navigate between areas and keep track of places where you can complete tasks. I loved searching for the posters (extra item scattered throughout the game). The puzzles had a nice mixture from fairly easy to moderately challenging. Fortunately, instructions are provided. Adding access to the strategy guide in game would be the only change I would make. Overall, very entertaining and I will be playing it again. Thanks Big Fish!!! :)

Great game couple glitches. Big did a super job graphics puzzles HO I did find couple of glitches especially the mirror room everything seemed to lock up had to exit game and go back in few times but overall fun great length highly recommend

Awesome Game. This is one of the best game I have played thus far. The storyline, the graphics, the narrative, the puzzles, the hidden object games, and the opportunity for achievement are just top notch. I feel it's worth every penny and time I spent for this game. I highly recommend this game.

Mystery Games. I cannot get out of the game and return where I left off. It starts over from the very beginning each time I start playing the games. Both down loaded games are really messed up and I have already paid for them. Either give my money back or straighten them out. Oh ya, I downloaded the one game twice thinking the second download would work, it didn't!!

Web of Deceit. I bought this thinking it would be interesting. I was right, in a very Chinese kind of way. I play the game for about 15 mins or so yesterday just to be sure it would play, without glitches, with the latest update on my iPad. It did, so I paid for it and play for a while more. I open it today, only to find I am right back at the beginning of the game. Seriously! So not cool to have to start over again when I'd already made some progress. If this game does it again, I'll be deleting it and demanding my money back.

Good game. The game is good but some if the mini games are way too difficult. I get frustrated and give up after 4 and 5 times of trying

More! More!. I loved this game even though I had one glitch and had to reset progress! Was flawless after that. Just the right degree of difficulty, but pure fun! Colorful graphics and not so dark you can't see it! Can't wait for next in the series!!! Ps the glitch was in the start the train engine. The man disappeared and I was left with the analyzer and paperweight!

Loved it for the most part!. Only problem I had was the mini games seemed exceptionally hard and time consuming and the directions didn't always make sense. Loved this sequel!! Can't wait for another!! :)

Seems dated. The game feels old, as if it were created long ago and simply updated a bit. It IS logical, but has lots of back and forth. The map is okay, I think, but it only glanced at it, so I can't say for sure. The puzzles are a combination of the old and new. Some were just boring to do. There are errors in the game, too. The exacto knife is misidentified as a glass cutter. The artist, obviously, didn't know the difference. In case you're reading this, a glass cutter has a round smooth disk at the end, not a tip. It has other differences, too. You might want to Google an image. But, in this game, an exacto knife cuts glass. Who knew? I'll pass on this one.

Glitchie. Played on my iPad. Every time I opened it to play it would start me over from the beginning! Extremely frustrating! Also, a glitch where the guy didn't fall out of the train and uncle had disappeared. Took the fun out of the game. Shouldn't have spent the money!!!

Web of Deceit: Deadly Sands. I was enjoying the game and then it started crashing. I would get a little farther into the game, and it would crash! I would then have to start from the BEGINNING of each time. After 4 crashes, I gave up!

Good game. Overly tough mini games.. Overall a great game but the mini games are far to difficult. I love a challenge but I also want to be able to progress through the game. Part of what made them difficult was the poor directions on how to play each mini game. You can make mini games challenging but the instructions on what is to be done needs to be more specific.

MORGANA IS BACK!!!!. With her deadly bite Morgana is up to her tricks. Instead of webs she's casting sand, throwing cable cars and I imagine most anything destructive in our way. We're collecting posters in this one, no two alike so far. Good voice overs for Bunkie and the rest of us. I just know that's her favorite thing. Has strategy guide, HOPs are a little more complicated than most but fun. Thank you and your people BF for a new fun game. Especially a continuation of an old one. Web of Deceit: Deadly Sands. This game would be more stars if it saved your progress. I have tried many times to play, but after going out of the game, you have to start over from the beginning. Besides, I thought I was purchasing this for the iPad, but it is and iOS app. Please fix this game already. I'm tired of waiting, and am going to ask for my money back, or give me a credit.

Glitches galore. The Crain is a pain because the levers don't respond. I have never enjoyed chess, therefore why would I want to play against a computer? Morgana is very irritating and the end is to simplified to satisfy. Otherwise, it had good mini games for the most part and the story line was ok. The lack of town people felt wrong. Not even skeletal remains.

It's a big NO on this one. As some other reviewers have mentioned, when I returned to the game, it didn't save my progress! I will not be wasting any money on this game.

Spiders. This is a strange one. Lovely art neauveau and steam punk decor. Ordinary mini games and some extraordinary ones as well. If you play them all this game will take a looooooong time. If you can't play chess there's one you won't be able to beat; I sure couldn't. Thirty posters to find along the way ( the last few are in the bonus chapter ). One glaring problem with the story, but nevertheless, much fun to play.

Ok but cheesy. The story was good as well as graphics. I felt the mini games were frustrating because they didn't seem to work like they should, i.e. The crane that was suppose to pick things up kept saying nothing needed to be moved when it all needed moving. Also when the characters talked their lips are not in time with the voice. And the ending to the game and bonus chapter was really lame and corner.

Less than mediocre. Not as good as the first in the series. I won't be buying the next!

Just okay. I am not a big fan of human actors playing the parts. Games are a bit frustrating as I don't think directions are clear and/or u have to tap just the right spot at just the right time. Do love the HOGs with the humorous ways to find the objects...love the bear in the tub sipping on the umbrella drink! Very clever.

Patn. Not a bad game, but not compelling. Games were a bit hard, and lack of teleport facility was disappointing, even if it is an old game. We don’t get any new ones these days since Big Fish was bought out. Such a shame.

Way too short! Don't pay full price.. I payed nearly $7.00 for this game and finished it in less than a day. Mini games are way to tedious so used to skip button for most. Am very disappointed as I've paid less for much better big fish games. Not enough locations, scenes looked much the same and the story line was just way too short. What a shame.

Great Game!!!. I think this one is awesome!! The hints aren't that helpful, but they're not terrible. The storyline is intriguing, and the games are unique and fun. Definitely buy it!! You'll enjoy it.

Pretty good. I loved the HOS, and the story was great. However, some of the mini-games were unusually infuriating; not because the solutions were elusive/too challenging, but because the controls were baffling/difficult to manipulate. I think the explanations for some of them needed to be clearer (e.g. The sail mini-game; I could see how the pieces needed to fit together, but couldn't get them to attach).

Could be better.... The hints aren't that helpful, and the scenes could be clearer to make finding things easier.

Not bad, but.... Not bad, and I was planning to give a high score, but things started to go downhill after a while. The jump map showed places where you would need to return later that, in fact, were finished, yet would often fail to show you where there was something to do, or would show something to do in the location next to where the action actually was. One mini game was a complicated variation on chess. If you are not a highly skilled chess player, you must skip, else you will be trying to play until doomsday! The last mini game, I tried several times, but could not figure out how you could possibly get the mirrors into the four corners, so resorted to the "solution" in the guide. Couldn't get that to work either. I am not convinced it is doable. At the end, I blinked and I think I missed what happened, and the bonus section did not include that video for some reason. The graphics are good, the music is nice and the hidden object scenes are pretty good with some fun tricks. The story is good. It's a shame there are the drawbacks.
