Fix your gems system.. I used to LOVE playing this game, I played it religiously and also tried to log in every day in order to get the daily 2 gems. Ever since the update (the one that changed the whole in-game currency system) it’s basically impossible to be able to get enough gems for upgrades in an appropriate amount of time without having to buy them. The daily rewards system was completely changed and made it even harder to get gems and the slot machine only gives TWO gems now??? Instead of the 15?! You even kept the prices for upgrades and unlocking restaurants the same cost although you’ve made it harder to get gems.. You added a 12 gem reward for completing a restaurant with full stars, but how are we supposed to get there when we can’t even afford the upgrades? It does not make sense. The first 6 reviews I’ve seen for this app complained about gems being hard to get. Some of those reviews were from a YEAR ago (pretty sure that was before the big update)… This will definitely make you lose A LOT of old/long time players, because you’ve lost me now. Either make it easier to earn gems again or make the cost for upgrades and unlocking restaurants lower (gems-wise). This was so disappointing from one of my most favorite mobile games.

Used to be better. This was my favorite game until they switched to a calendar system for rewards and made it impossible to get gems both there and in the casino. Still like it and the airplane version, but I definitely don’t just sit and play anymore because it’s boring being stuck in the same spot and waiting until they grace you with more gems. You used to have to work a bit for gems but it wasn’t horrible because if you had a daily check In streak, you would earn 2 gems a day or you would occasionally get a winning spin in the casino. Having played it for years now, I can afford the higher wager in the casino per turn and you used to be able to get a gem-winning spin regularly enough to afford updates and you could advance play, now they don’t even seem to allow that winning spin to ever come up but they’ll hand out coins all the time. Once in awhile there will be a major prize for a major item but I have been gypped by the calendar system and what they call a day versus what I call a day especially as the months switch. The designers obviously want people to invest in the in-app purchases and it is definitely not worth wasting my money just to do that, so I guess both sides will just be stuck being stingy.

Great game, but a couple of things.... First of all, this is a great game. I recommend it to people because it kills time and it is very fun and addictive. The levels are pretty easy, as long as you have good equipment, like any other restaurant game. The casino is fun and getting new restaurants with profits is a very fun idea! Now the bad things. First of all, the updated customers are kind of creepy. They move and are a bit distracting because of this. Cool concept though! The faces also are a bit weird, but I will set that aside. Earlier on in the diner, it takes a couple of levels to get one upgrade because of the lack of money you make, but after time, it gets way better. Another thing is that the casino is very hard to make a match in. I make a gem match sometimes, but if I do, I only earn one or two gems, which I find unfair because lots of the upgrades cost at least 5 or more gems, even at the early levels (unless it is just a coin upgrade, then it is easy to get), so I have to keep playing recent levels to get more XP, keep wasting my coins at the casino in hopes of getting maybe a couple gems, or wait until the next day to get gems, which you might have restarted the daily count already, so you might have to wait about a week for gems to come back, so you would keep losing the level for a while until you completed any of these options. Other than these problems, I have no complaints about the game and I think it is great over all.

Incredible game. This seems like one of those games that’s gonna be kinda buggy, not well made, lots of ads, semi fun for an hour or so and then you delete it, you know the kind of game I'm talking about. But this game absolutely nothing like that. There are never any ads unless you choose to watch one to get a free spin in the casino, and the game is super well made. The graphics are clean and detailed, it’s well designed, overall it’s a great game. The gameplay is super fun, and don’t get me wrong, some of the levels as you progress are difficult, and you get frustrated or stuck, but that’s because it’s challenging, which makes it all the more fun. And if you’re really stuck, you can upgrade your appliances to make it easier. This game doesn’t seem like it’s trying to steal your money or anything, there aren’t constant pop ups for “deals!” Or “premium!”. They clearly did their research because all the cultural foods seem pretty accurate, or at least as accurate as they could be in a video game. I’ve downloaded and deleted this game countless times but every time I reopen the app it seems 10 times better. Anyway, my point here is, I love this game, and to the creators, well done!

Awesome but GEMS. This is personally my favorite cooking time management game. Whenever I come back home I click on this game and play for hours. It’s also not totally impossible to pass levels, unlike other cooking games which require you to have a certain amount of customers to win, and that they don’t give you! And I really like the visuals and sound effects on this game. However, one annoying thing about this game is GEMS! I wish there could be other ways to add gems, like watching ads or getting 3 stars on a level. It’s also so annoying when I want to buy restaurants but then have to use my gems for upgrades instead (they make upgrades way too expensive, most of the upgrades require gems)! But for people who are impatient for me, you can earn gems by playing the last level of a restaurant over and over again, which I love to do with the fast food court. You can also earn 2 gems after checking in for 7 days, and 2 gems for each day after the 7th day. However, I DON’T recommend the casino unless you have a lot of money! I’ve tried it before many times by spending many coins and have only gained gems 1-2 times. Overall, besides the problems with gems and upgrades, this game is really fun and addicting! Even though gems are an annoyance, I still really enjoy playing this game!

Awesome game. This is a game I’ve been wanting for a long time. I never written that before. It’s super fun. It’s like me at a restaurant I want good food, fancy stuff around, and it doesn’t take an hour to prepare food. It’s amazing because it’s kind of like real life. People keep complaining about gems and I have a lot of them and I don’t buy anything. They may just wast the on things that aren’t so important ( no offense) but then there are things that are needed with gems so it’s kinda worrying me but this is an awesome game maybe lower gem prices on at least the new restaurants by 1-4. This is an awesome game once again it’s fair and all that. I may buy a new restaurant now. So I don't have lower gem price problem. Thanks so much for making this game and people reading this with a low gem problem no offense if I wrote something offensive about wasting gems ( I may get that problem). I thought this would be short but no😂 ok so I realized I never sent the review 😂😂😂😂 And now I kind of have a gem and it forces me to watch an ad for coins. I go to collect an achievement and I have to watch an ad for coins. Some advice save as much coins as you can.

WOW!. Wow! I love this app so much! It’s so addictive to just grab some blankets and smuggle myself in fluffy objects in a cozy place and play Cooking Fever! It drains hours away from my day and makes me overjoyed to wake up and play it! I have ADHD and am very anxious and loose attention to many games so I get bored easily, but this game really controls me and lets me focus and play. It’s fun to watch your restaurant grow and how every time something new is added you get a tutorial for it so your not lost! At first it was easy and I thought I’d get bored but you really know how to keep players intrigued every second of the game! The casino is very interesting and I love having tension in my brain when spending coins to try to get stuff! I like how you can upgrade stuff and the automatic cooker is so helpful! It helps me learn that I need to have a strategy to get all three stars! Something I would like is for diamonds to be more obtainable. Maybe each level you get a few diamonds if you complete a special thing? Or maybe instead of tasks just giving you coins they sometimes also gave you diamonds? Because it’s really hard to upgrade when diamonds are hard to get. Especially at the casino. Every once in a while I’ll get a few diamonds but it’s never enough! Nevertheless this is an amazing game so far!

Please read this!. First off, this game is amazing and there is so many good things about this game it would take you forever to read all of the wonderful things about Cooking Fever. Whoever is reading this review, I highly recommend you get this game if you love cooking, and managing your own restaurant. But there is one little thing that needs to be changed. I was expecting every few XP levels you would earn more gems each time. I have been through many levels already, and haven’t gotten any more gems. For Cooking Fever to even work, you really need a lot of gems. So, my idea is to give an extra maybe 1 or 2 gems maybe every ten XP levels. This little fix to Cooking Fever can make a huge difference! Everyone would love the game much more and it would be way more fun, and addicting. I know you need money from people buying the gems with really money, but don’t worry! Many people will still buy the gems, and there’s always the coins to buy too. Pretty please make an update that allows you to get a little bit more gems at least every 10 XP levels. I hope you make this update to make Cooking Fever everyone favorite game.

Only because of gems...... This game is great and I absolutely love playing it, BUT I am seriously reconsidering finding a new cooking game to play. The gems are basically what run this entire game and are EXTREMELY hard to come by. You only get them for logging in every single day(only after a week of doing so daily) and then you only get 2 each day, or by leveling up which can take quite some time depending on your levels and restraint upgrades, or trying your luck at the casino and lastly by buying. Basically you have to buy them. You get TONS of coins upon coins upon coins but can’t do anything with them except play the casino or go towards buying a new restaurant(along with 20-30 gems). There needs to be a way to buy gems with the coins or more ways to earn coins easier. I have bought over 1200 gems during sales when you can buy 300 for $9.99 but it still hasn’t gotten me very far. I have already unlocked two whole other worlds with new restaurants and am still stuck playing the same levels because I don’t have enough gems to level any of my food/kitchen equipment or the interior of my restaurant lobby. Some of the simple upgrades for kitchen stuff take up to 20 gems just to upgrade one level out of three for each ingredient and cooking item. Please seriously consider making some changes to this because I don’t want to stop playing but I will be forced to like my son because of lack of gems. I don’t want to spend cash all the time just to be able to play this.

This game is awesome💞🥰🤩, but There’s only one problem🙁. You see, I love this game an all🥰🥰. Like I’v been going so far!! And I even opened up a restaurant!!( The football game stadium one) And I even tried that thing you guys put in where you’ll get 5000 coins if you download this app and run it. Like I used that like 3 times😂😂❤️. But I only have one problem, it’s the diamonds💎💎💎. Like earning Coins in this game is like really easy!😎🤩 But earning diamonds is a struggle. I mean, yes you do get like the diamond reward thing once in a while. but right now, I literally have like 15,000 coins! 😆🤩🤩. And I really want to buy everything! And it only cost like 600 coins for each upgrade. But some of the upgrades you want to buy have like 5 diamonds or 6 diamonds with it also. 😕😕💎💎💎💎. Plus, to buy a whole stash of cupcakes 🧁🧁🧁 cost at least 20 or 15 cupcakes for 2 diamonds 💎 💎. So, that’s basically a struggle. Also, as you go further in the game and open restaurants, at least all of the upgrades have diamonds that you need to pay, and I’m gonna be honest, THATS REALLY ANNOYING TO ME! 😢😢😔😫😩. Fun! But needs a fix!. So I really enjoy playing Cooking Fever and I recently got an iTunes card so I decided to use a little to buy gems. I bought the Chef’s Mystery Pack once which went through and gave me a cool reward, I bought 10 gems for .99 cents TWICE, BUT only one of those went through. The reason is because the app was taking so long to load. I was being patient while the cake on the screen kept leading but I decided to exit and clear the page from my Home Screen thinking it’d refresh and work then. Not knowing that it wouldn’t give it to me anymore. So, I had that happen multiple days ago which I brushed off because it’s only ninety nine cents and I had other rewards but it just happened again which has caused me to type this review. I’m really bummed because I waited even longer this time and I know the transactions went through because each time, my screen would say “Purchase was successful”. I’m sorry this is so long but I would love for this to be fixed if possible or even my two sets of 10 gems back that I’ve spent money on and didn’t get, because this is my only complaint about the app.

I'm not unwilling to spend money on apps... just not on this one. I have spent money on in-app purchases before. Actually, on a game very similar to this one. I'm not one of those people who are absolutely unwilling to spend money on apps. But I refuse to with this app. Why? What's the point... You will deplete the gems you paid for so quickly, and it takes forever to acquire enough to purchase most upgrades past the first or second restaurant with the free methods offered in-game. It's just not worth it; you're going to have to constantly funnel more and more money in to keep making progress. I understand the developers need to make money, but if there were more ways to get gems in-game, I'd see the occasional purchase of gems as no big deal because you know you won't have to spend another $10 or $20 or whatever amount in a few more levels. As it is no, past a certain point in the game, the game is dependent on gems to make progress, and gems take forever to get unless you buy them, and each upgrade costs so many gems. This game is just not worth all of that. It's a fun game, but not worth how much you'll be spending to progress. I'd rather make a one time purchase and skip all the predatory micro-transactions honestly.

Highly recommend, except for the gems…. This game is so fun!! I love it and I think it’s really great, but the gems are my only complaint. I have been stuck for a week now because at the casino I haven’t been able to win any gems. Usually I do the 500 coin bet and I earn 15 gems, which lets me buy a few upgrades and pass the level. But I haven’t won anything for a while, and I haven’t progressed at all! Maybe raise the chance of winning something at the casino or if you complete a level with 3 stars, you win a gem? I understand the idea of having the gems be really valuable, but it’s going to far. Recent update: I opened the game today to have all of my progress gone, but it was different then you would think. Im still at the same level, have the same restaurants unlocked, and have the same amount of diamonds and coins, it’s just my levels aren’t completed and all of the upgrades were gone. The thing with the upgrades though is that as soon as I open the upgrades, they show back up and work properly. All of this I’m ok with, because I can get it back easily, but it also got rid of all of my tasks and achievements which I’ll have to earn back. And some of the tasks are impossible for me to get again, for example, “level up the bar stools to level one.” They are already maxed out, and yet the task isn’t completed. Please fix this!

Pros and cons. I love this game so much!! I have been obsessed for like a month now, but I have some pros and cons about the game. My first con is, well I have two. The main one is that the diamonds are just like so hard to get! We only get them if we level up and it’s hard to upgrade too since at the end of the 3 levels it will be like 700 and 5 GEMS to upgrade for a hotdog or something. We should be able to get gems sometimes from going on to the next shift maybe 1 or 2 every other time. My next problem is the customers get too angry in to little amount of time. Like I’ll be having 3 other customers and one ends up leaving because you have to give there food within 10 seconds. So I hope you can adjust that and make it so they don’t get mad too often. Now for the pros. I love this game because it’s so realistic! The food actually has to cook as well as it can burn! And also, you can give out cupcakes if you didn’t do too well on a customer so you can get more tip! And I LOVE that we can get a backery and so many other places too!! Overall this game is so fun and addictive but pls just fix my two cons I had, it would make the game a lot better. 4 stars!

About the Gems. This game is great but I have one issue that causes me great pain in getting new restaurants and levels. It’s the gems, they are hard to get and just happen to be the main way to unlock stuff. I don’t think it’s that bad if a mechanic except for the fact that you can only get them by leveling up (which can take forever depending on your level) and going to the casino and spending money to get a slim chance of getting it. I’ve been trying to upgrade my stuff, repeating the last level on my starting restaurant which gives the most money and experience but I’m still low on gems to get what I need. I think the amount of gems needed to level stuff up needs to be lower because not a lot of people are going to spend money on a game that they just want to play in their spare time. Maybe 5 gems max for the price of new customizations. The amount of gems for buying restaurants I feel are okay but if you are willing to change it I think at most 20 gems would be good. Also I think the achievements should give you some gems as well, it’s not fair to get a bunch of coins and not be able to use them when you don’t have enough gems which are also required for upgrades. I think the achievements should give at least one or two gems each time you complete one. Thank you for reading.

Fun game yet issues with touch sensitivity. Really fun yet have issues with getting some ingredients to go on something or in the oven. Issues with some items too close together so that even though you select one item, the game picks up another item (the wrong item). Don’t understand gems...you buy a furniture upgrade which shows the price without gems and then after clicking Upgrade, the game takes your coins and then you have to pay with more gems, which you won’t find out until after you click on Upgrade. That part is annoying. Just let us know ahead of time before wasting our time on clicking Upgrade and then only to find out that we need to pay with more gems. In most cases, we ran out of gems at that point and clearly shows that you really want to panic users into buying more gems. Maybe users would be more willing to pay for them if it was clear the exact amount of gems are needed to upgrade items before clicking on the button. I started playing this game much less because of that issue. Only recommend playing the game at first and then stopping when the game tries to force to use up your gems without disclosing how many is needed before you upgrade.

It’s so close to perfection it may as well just be perfection. Don’t give me wrong. This is a great game. What is the best place you could ever lay your eyes upon but that does come with disadvantages the good things with this game are they are high-quality the graphics are so good just so good the game concept is boring but the execution is just great. I always play this game when I’m bored but the thing is you gotta do something about that progress roll back it’s just so annoying when I’m trying to buy something and it makes a huge impact in my game too I can get but cannot spend with this thing please just let it go softer or remove it all together. I don’t care just let this problem go away please but overall the game is great. I don’t really care about the ads. It doesn’t really matter, considering the game is so great it’s barely makes even .001% of a star. I love how detailed it is the burger patties, the sausages, the burger buns, the cola, the lettuce, the tomato and even the cupcake and the fries and just EVERYTHING! It is so good! Just without that progress, rollback glitch I would give it a five star and honestly no matter what I still will. This game is just the best game to waste time or if you’re feeling like cooking you can get on this game. It’s just amazing. Yes the idea is boring what the way they did it it’s just so good!

This game is awesome! But.... This game is super cool! I love the fact that you can cook and the realness of the hot dogs burning and the cake burning. People are complaining about the diamonds and I am too but it’s not just the diamonds! It’s also the fact that you spend the wrong amount of money on the perks. Like the hot dogs are 800 coins and 5 gems! That doesn’t leave us with enough coins or gems to get a new building! I also have a problem with the casino. I have only won the casino once! It drains your money like the water goes down a drain in a bath tub! It’s annoying and once you realize the casino is a rip off you have already spent all the money you have made! The last thing I have a problem with is the bakery. I think their using the bakery to get you to buy the diamonds. The customers get angry quickly and that means you rarely get tips! That doesn’t help us get the amount of money you need to buy a new restaurant. I am often too fed up with the bakery to even do it! The beginners have it bad because of how quickly the customers get angry. I hope you see this and learn a little bit of things about this game before you purchase it. I’m not telling you to not download the game but I’m also telling you that it’s not as perfect as it seems

Addictive.. But and it’s a large BUT!. Let me start off by saying I love this game. I have downloaded and deleted it numerous times. Here is my issues with it 1.) THE DIAMONDS! I download games to pass time, to play and have fun! Y’all make it to where you HAVE to have diamonds in order to pass levels, download new restaurants, upgrade equipment. But is it easy to get the diamonds without buying them? NO 😡 this makes me so mad and is usually what results in me deleting the game! It’s ridiculous! The fact that you make the money so easy to earn and the diamonds almost impossible isn’t right. Honestly that’s my only complaint! I just downloaded my second restaurant finally and of course things take forever to cook and in turn customers get mad and leave and you loose levels! Why? Because in order to upgrade my equipment I need a ridiculous amount of diamonds! Even if I was willing to buy some I would spend them all in seconds and then of course boom need to buy more! There was literally one item I could upgrade without spending diamonds and that was the plates. The rest of the equipment literally ALL takes diamonds! I will honestly more than likely end up deleting this game and downloading a different cooking game!

First cooking game I downloaded, loved it, but moved on. This was the first cooking game I downloaded. I loved it when I was playing the food court stage with the burgers and fries. I have since bought the pizza and Chinese restaurants. While I loved this game I’m the beginning, I agree with many others that it simply is too costly to get upgrades on equipment because the amount of gems needed is just too much, and the payoff is not enough. To upgrade your equipment (just to get 2 stars in a higher level) costs coins and 10-15 gems! I liked this game because, unlike some other cooking games (or mobile games in general), it doesn’t supply only a limited amount of lives to play and that you’d have to wait for the lives to replenish. I think that’s why upgrading the equipments, food, and restaurant are so costly, because the developers probably want people to play the levels over and over. I won’t say this game is bad but I will say that this game is not suited for my work lifestyle anymore. I want a game where I do spend effort on each level and revisit each level to earn more currency, but not to the point where I have to play the levels an x amount of times just to earn some measly coins and gems. The payoff is just not worth the time spent. I loved this game but I have moved on to another cooking game.

Good, but just one thing…. I really like this game a lot as it is high paced and addicting. But the flaw that I am going to mention in this review is that literally most of the kitchen upgrades need gems. And I am NOT just talking about like three, I’m talking like TEN! I realized this after I beat the fast food restaurant, then decided to move onto the bakery, it was fine at first, until level 6, I got 2 stars (and I always go for 3) so I decided to upgrade some stuff and try again, but then I was UNABLE to buy anything! It was not because I was broke in coins’ but in gems. I just hate how annoying it is to have to save up gems just to get a level 3 milkshake mixer. I’m not writing this review because I’m not a person who is like…”REMOVE GEMS OR I RATE ONE STAR!!!” I just want to let people know that they should look out for this. PTS… you cannot replay levels to get gems because the only way to earn gems is to either level up (and you cannot level up by replaying a finished restaurant FYI) or daily rewards. Overall this is a great game and I would really recommend it to people who love high paced games (which are also known as rushing games) and I would really like it if somebody told me how I could boost the amount of gems I get. PTS (again) I could just play the game more and complete quests for exp to level up, but those gems…those gems…

Let’s talk gems…. I have been stuck to the screen for hours playing this game. It really is such a fun game to play, and it’s a nice way to spend the time. All of the details that the game has to offer are incredible. My one concern though, is the gems. I understand that every game has a gem, point System but this one is just too complicated. We use gems in this game for many things. For example you use them to upgrade items, or to open places. I just feel like getting gems in this game is so hard considering we have to use a lot of them. I understand that buying gems is an option but for me I just don’t find that useful. I just wish they had more opportunities to get more gems. I would really enjoy this game 10 times better if it weren’t for me having to constantly deal with the gems. To open a new place it takes gems, but it’s very expensive. I as one who doesn’t have very much gems find it hard for me to constantly be dealing with this problem. I just wish that the system that you guys have to offer was more thought through. With all that said, this game is personally a fav of mine. All the details that it has are truly amazing. I spent hours on this game serving my customers and it truly is such a fun challenge. I get to level up my items and make food to serve happy customers. Totally recommend to download this app! I would like it if the gems were a little more useful though.

THEY ARE THIEVES - DO NOT DOWNLOAD. Adding to my original review below. I have only received automated messages and no actual help or concern regarding my lost process, time, and money. To the chefs with the same issue, we all deserve a refund of our money spent in this game. It is impossible to refund all of our time spent playing, and seems as though they won’t be giving us back our game progress either. Issuing a refund of our money spent in the game at this point is the only worthy resolution. They need to understand the seriousness of the issue at hand and give a more personal response to us all who are impacted by this rollback. This game is designed in a way to get users to spend real money in order to advance. It’s almost impossible to get 3 stars on every level without spending money for diamonds to buy upgrades. I recently updated my game and after had some issue with a rollback and lost all of my stars, on every level I earned. Essentially flushing dollars down the drain. I reached out to customer support, received one response and nothing else to restore my game or receiving a refund. I’m not yet removing the game in the hopes of getting a late response from support. If you took the time to read all of this, please take away that is has potential to be a fun game but if you really want to progress and get full stars be prepared to spend real money.

A Classic Microtransaction Trap. TL;DR: A fun game at first, but later on there are ads and paywalls. This game is not worth your time. The first area that you start the game at (Fast Food Court) has great pacing and progression and upgrades aren’t necessary, but make the game easier. (The upgrades include kitchen upgrades, which increase the amount of coins you get per item served, cooking time, amount cooked at a time, and interior upgrades, which can attract extra customers, increase the time in which customers are willing to wait for food, etc.) Most of these upgrades are fairly priced and few require gems. However once you unlock and play area 2 (Sports Bar), it becomes every other scammy mobile game that requires constant microtransactions. Almost all of the kitchen upgrades (and many interior upgrades) require gems. Gems are very difficult to get without purchasing them, and it becomes impossible to complete a level without spending gems to upgrade. Unsurprisingly, at the end of nearly every level there is an ad. The game offers ‘tournaments’ to earn coins and gems, however these tournaments also require the player to spend a hefty amount of coins and gems to even enter. This game, (while enjoyable at first) is not worth your time.

THE most greediest developers to exist.. I’ve been playing for a few years now and the newest update not only makes it harder than it already is it make gems, but also they took away our main source of getting coins!!! You use to be able to get SO many daily coins from the restaurants you have bought and completed, but no more. You just get a SINGLE box for 12 gems and THAT’S IT. Moreover, the daily login rewards also got more greedy!!! It use to be up to 7 days and on that 7th day, you’ll get like 5 gems everyday if you log in consecutively after those 7 days. Now, it’s a whole month worth that BARELY gives you anything!! On top of that, it resets to the lowest tier reward after each month even though you’ve been logging in each day! And those little “surprise” boxes you get now and then from those daily logins is even LOWER than what you’re progressively getting from logging in for that month. I use to also be able to play the casino all the time from all the coins you get from the restaurants but now I can’t get coins OR gems. They are literally shoving prices down our throats on one-time “special” ads to buy gems and coins DAILY just to get money from us!! I literally loved this game, it’s such a shame what these nasty, greedy developers have turned this game into.

NEVER ANY GEMS!!!. I really enjoy this game but I always seem to have one problem with it. For the level upgrades you pretty much always need these gems that you earn in game. But it is so unreasonably difficult to get these gems and even though there is a casino that you can gamble the coins you would get from playing levels for possible gems you almost always lose the casino. And even when you do win it’s either coins or gem shards that you can’t even spend and you need nine of them to get only one gem. The most reliable way to get gems is leveling up and the daily rewards you get from logging in every day but leveling up requires a lot of XP and you only get so much from replaying a level and it gets boring almost instantly and takes too long. And the daily upgrade you only get once a day (obvious as of the name). In result you can’t pass one level for days (considering you don’t play this game for hours on end) because you can’t get enough gems to purchase the upgrade you need to pass the level. So this game should either make it easier to get these stupid gems or not required germs for almost every single upgrade. Even though I love cooking games and I REALLY enjoy playing this game normally this is such a problem that I feel like I am forced to give it three stars at the most.

Too Expensive to Play. I recommend finding another diner/cooking game in which you don’t have to spend nearly as much money or time as I did to play. It is a fun game, which is why I hung in so long. But it requires too much money and time to level up and expand on restaurants. As other reviewers have noted it is one of the stingiest games I have ever played. Everything costs coins, often a combination of coins and gems. Coins are earned every time you play a round and for watching a video or logging in, et al. That isn’t the problem. The problem is acquiring a reasonable amount of gems to use. Items can cost anywhere from one to 30+ gems in addition to the coins. And few gems are given freely. The gems are necessary to purchase upgrades to the restaurants’ interior decor, food quality, and to expand appliances’ capabilities. This is all necessary to pass levels in any restaurant. There is a casino in which you can bet, 100 or 500 coins, or view a video to spin for free. But I have only ever won coins after spinning more than 100 times—not consecutively. It is unfortunate. Greed is killing these games. Over the course of a week, I have spent too many hours playing, paid over $45 (something I never do), and opened about seven restaurants. More people need to stop playing these games so developers will understand they can’t fleece us for every penny. It is designed to be addictive, like gambling, and preys on our natural tendencies. Gamer beware.

Challenges are a rip-off. The mechanics of this game were very fun and easy to progress while still being challenging, though the rate of gem rewards is very low compared to how quickly it starts requiring them to purchase even small upgrades - I would much prefer if they were tied to stage completion rather than levels. This was a little annoying and stalled my progress for a bit, but I still liked playing. However, the first time I saw a ‘challenge’ pop up that promised a reward of double the entry fee (which was somewhat high for where I was at that point, but not unreasonable), I decided to save up my gems to enter. It quickly became very clear that the challenge was impossible to complete without having multiple gem-costing upgrades, if not every single upgrade for that level, as otherwise you could not hit your coin goal on the upper stages even if every customer left with a full bar. I got all the way to the second-to-last stage before stalling out with no more gems for upgrades or cupcakes, and I had already spent over the amount I would have gotten as a reward. That was a whole lot of progress lost with no way to get it back. Nowhere was this mentioned when paying the coins and gems to enter - these challenges seem to be meant to gouge players for their coins in hopes they will spend more than the reward, or pay for more gems. That frustrated me enough to make me delete the app. I’m going to find a different one that’s not pay-to-play.

It’s fun but gems ruin it…. So, there’s a challenge that costs 16,500 coins and 14 gems to enter at my bakery. I play all night to get enough for the challenge. I get past level one of the challenge, but then level two…It’s rigged or something. Since I just spent all of my gems and coins on this challenge, I can’t level up my equipment, which means I can’t get enough coins to beat it. I’ve played level 2 of that challenge 15 times and I still can’t level up my equipment because I can’t get gems. Tbh it’s not even the challenge, it’s gems. Gems are really rare and hard to get. Achievements are nice, but I think they should also give you like 3 gems along with the coins because there is NOTHING WORSE than having 10,000 coins but not being able to do anything because you don’t have 50 gems to level up all of your equipment. Completely unfair in my opinion. The equipment leveling up price should NOT be that high of a gem price. It should be 10 gems at the least for them. Some are 15 and that’s just too high and I can’t play the game because of it. I understand you need to make money from people buying it but some people don’t have money to waste on a game they play when they have nothing else to do. Please fix this..

Was favorite game, now showing commercials... :((. I would have rated this a 5 star only a few days ago. It is one of my favorite games to play. I have literally spent hundreds of dollars on this game, which is outrageous in itself, but that is my addiction to contend with. I do not even mind how long it takes to collect gems, though I still end up buying more. Having spent so much money, I feel like I should own the game, and never have to worry about any issues playing it. But now they have decided to add commercials to the game. Sometimes, they ask you if you want to watch an ad and earn coins. You have the opportunity to decline, which I truly appreciate. I have over $43 million dollars, so I do not need the coins, and I definitely do NOT want to watch commercials. But after a couple levels, an ad will pop up and you have no choice but to watch if you want to continue playing. I hate it on other games, and now I hate it on this on. I end up closing the game rather than endure the mostly long cartoonish ads of other games that I could care less about. Developers, please reconsider the use of ads; they have ruined the game for me. At least make all of them optional, good for those who might need the coins, great for us who do not!

Please fix this.. I’ve spent money on this game but I still get ads that I’m unable to skip even though cooking fever has promise to “remove” the forced ads once we’ve made a purchase…with REAL money by the way. If it’s a bug or not fix it or give me my money back. (Over 60$ of it!!) It’s annoying and frustrating getting an ad after a level KNOWING I’ve paid for them to go away. What’s also annoying is how overpriced and expensive this game is!! It’s like you HAVE to spend money or else it’s unplayable. The levels are hard and there’s no way on making them easier unless you buy the UNNECESSARY upgrades. Why am I still getting 7 gems from a level up?! I’m not on level 35 anymore and I’ve been unlocked multiple restaurants, so wouldn’t it be common sense to know that I need MORE than just a once in a while 7 gems for a 14 gem upgrade on ONE item?!? (The slot game is a total ripoff…why did I spend over 100k coins just to get 20k and 10 gems back😐) Also don’t act like y’all are too busy to read and reply to this. I know there are multiple people in this game developing group or whatever. Stop giving us game updates that NOBODY has asked for. (example: the WAY over priced level boosters…it’s really helpful but why make it so expensive that nobody would even consider buying it. 5$ with tax for only 1 booster?!?) so start fixing the problems/requests that players actually need help with/want.

the casino is rigged. its a great game and all, but the thing is i never have enough gems. the only way i can get some is by buying them. but im not about to spend money on a game like this. I keep being stuck on level 7 just because of how i dont have another almond mixer machine. If i buy something, then i would need to buy another thing to balance and win a level. but i need diamonds for both of those things. Also the casino, i have many coins just earned from replaying some of the fast food levels. i cant get all 3 stars for level 40. i always need to buy cupcakes all the time which is why i lose gems. the main source of fun in this game is to have gems and gems are the thing that you can never find and thats the bad thing. The most thing you need is the thing you never have. Ive spun the casino over 30 times and only got 3 diamonds over 2 times. The game is rigged because the casino never matches and if it does it always gives me the coins or just nothing at all. i even got an achievement to spin it 15 times and still lose. ITS THAT RIGGED. and it doesn't matter how much times you spin or how much money you spend. you cannot win multiple times. at this point i cant do anything until the daily thing the next day. i have too many coins and 0 gems. if there was a machine that could turn coins into gems. it would definitely make me love the game. maybe 1k for 2 gems. because the easiest thing to make in the game is coins.

Game just wants your money to play. Honestly I love the game function and overall idea, but it is almost impossible to play without paying for diamonds. As a game pure-it’s who doesn’t spend money on games it is a real bummer. I have been trying to play this game for literally 3 1/2 years and the only way I make progress is getting the daily log in to max so I get 2 diamonds and then just log in for a month without playing then I can upgrade like 2-3 things and beat a few levels then wait to build up diamonds again. Also I get excessive amounts of money which is worthless without diamonds. They have a slots to get diamonds, every so often I spend 10 whole min spending like half my million dollars to maybe get 15-30 diamonds. Which is a joke because the slots is rigged where you will never get the 2-3x diamond only the single and even then it is time consuming and pretty frustrating. Also the addition of the ads you have to watch when you beat a level is pretty unclassy. I don’t mind having ads available to get free stuff but the game just is trying to find more ways to make money and doesn’t really care about the users expirence. Last pet peeve, when you start unlocking a lot of restaurants you have to click each one to collect your money. Why is there not like a collect all button?!!! Like seriously, never trying to make the game more user friendly.

Best of its Kind. When I say kind, I mean cooking games. This is probably the best cooking game on the App Store, it doesn’t have ads, doesn’t go crazy trying the make you buy diamonds or coins or whatever, and its music is actually pretty catchy. It doesn’t get a perfect from me because of a few things. One is that the animation of the customers changed. While it’s more realistic, it’s a bit much. I kind of miss the classic animation, but I don’t really care if you change it. Other thing I think is wrong with it is that restaurants are really expensive. Yes, the game needs it to be that way so that people will consider buying more diamonds or coins, so yes, I can’t one hundred percent blame you (as in, the developers). But honestly, I sort of wish they weren’t fifteen diamonds and ten thousand coins (which, for me is a lot of money in the game) but like the other problem I mentioned, it’s fine if it doesn’t get changed. Overall I recommend this game, I think that it’s near perfect, kind of addictive (but not too much) like it says, and the best cooking game on the App Store. If you want to get a cooking game, there is none better than Cooking Fever.

Gets Annoying Quickly. I have been playing this game for about 2 months. When you download the game you think that you’ll just be able to hop from restaurant to restaurant and play as you wish. Then you figure out that restaurants cost GEMS. And next you find out that you need those for upgrades too. The ways to acquire gems are by 1) visiting the app every day in row for 9 days and so on. This is hard to remember to do. If you miss a day, you have to wait for 8 or so more days until you get the two gems. 2) Leveling up on experience. This requires you to play levels SO MANY times. You get 7 for that after a certain level. 3) The Casino. It is a rip off if you don’t know that you can only get gems on the 500 coin option RIGHT AFTER collecting your daily coins from the restaurants. You still end up spending between 5,000and 50,000 coins. That is around 5-50 levels worth. A level takes around 3 minutes so that is around 15 to 150 minutes (2.5 hours) of playing just to get the FIFTEEN GEMS. That it is only enough for a low end restaurant or about 3 upgrades. It is so time consuming just to buy upgrades and more restaurants that I was spending more and more time on it, even upwards of 4 hours some days. It got more and more frustrating. It doesn’t bring me joy anymore so I’m deleting it. I’ll find a game that you don’t need to spend so much time on.

Awesome game but….. This game is super fun when you have nothing to do! The levels are super easy when you have good stuff, like any other restaurant. I love how you can update things and it doesn’t cost to much. Another thing that I love about this game is that when you start the game, it gives you time to get all your stuff out and get cooked before customers come in. Also, it doesn’t take too long for the burgers and stuff to get ready which is a good quality. One of the things that I think needs updating is that you should get more gems because almost everything, when you update your stuff cost at least 5 gems and you only get five gems per chest which the chests are kinda easy to get, don’t get me wrong, but I just think you should get more gems to buy a little more stuff. Also, Some of the things you have to get until your on level like 15 or something when your on level 5 or something and it takes kinda long to level up so I think that needs some updating. Sorry about the long review but overall, I totally recommend this game! :)

Issues with gems and casino but overall fun. I came here to look and see if others were experiencing the same thing as me and I was right. The first location you are given if pretty easy and completely able to play without paying for extra money or diamonds. As long as your smart about it however even playing for so long i still need to upgrade around 7 items. The other locations however are ridiculous and it is absolutely a pay to play type of game. I have the bakery and the Chinese restaurant and cant get past level 17 and 11 with all 3 stars just because of the upgrades. No unhappy customers not going super slow just cause of the upgrades. I only half noticed the casino issue because i wasn’t playing the casino because it seemed more worth it to just reply levels and get xp. However after reading these reviews it seems like both are impossible at a certain level with it being very difficult to level up after a certain point and the casino being rigged which i agree with as the few times i have played it around 35 times i have won 3 of those games. So honestly play the first location but then deleted the game it’s useless after that point. Cause i highly doubt the money hungry devs will solve these issues to make it a great game.

Great game. Needs more opps to win diamonds.. I’ve been playing this game for years, and I appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit of the way the game is structured financially. Cooking fever continues to make it more difficult for us to enjoy the game without being forced to watch videos or use an increasing amount of diamonds. In addition, it is much harder to win diamonds through playing the game. Could you please add more Diamond incentives for watching more videos, playing the game, and daily challenges? Specifically getting a diamond for some of the daily challenges would be incentive to engage more in playing them. 250 coins and similar awards are not worth the time it takes to engage with them. We also miss the holiday themed characters coming through. Could you bring back some festive or surprise enhancements to the game sometimes? Aside from seeing the developers face as a mechanic when something breaks down, we haven’t seen an changes. I like the way the lands rotate in the game to access our restaurants. Nice change. I also like some of the special effects like water moving or clouds and things happening to enhance the special effects. Good job. Please just add more opportunities to gain diamonds because we need to many to be competitive.

Lose the ads or give more for it. Been playing this game for about a decade now on my old iPad so I don’t have an issue with gems like most people do. I have over 500 of them at the moment and able to buy all the upgrades in a new restaurant right away, even the wait times for interior upgrades. You need about 700 gems for each restaurant so if you don’t have enough in the bank, just be patient. It’s a fun game anyway. I have 3 restaurants that earn at least. 1450 XP every game so it doesn’t take me long to level up and collect more gems. I got a new iPad for my kid and downloaded this game fresh. I soon realized that the XP you get in each restaurant is tied to your XP level, as well. My gourmet restaurant in my old iPad earns at least 1200 XP but in the new profile, it only earns 250. Huge difference! The XP should be tied to the type of restaurant and not the game level. As with gems, I used to get 45 gems in the casino back when this game was new. Now, you can only get 15 every 12 hours. Since I have about. 15 million coins now, how about putting an automatic spin on the casino so you don’t have to tap every single spin? Also, if you force the ads to us, at least give a gem for it, not 200 coins. You’re already making money out of these ads so let your players enjoy it.

SO ADDICTIVE, but the gems….. I have had this game since I was six. I’m ten now, and I still have it. I’ve made lots of progress, but for the past 4 years, I’ve been resetting. I tried to stop resetting and actually found that I made progress. It’s such a great app, and it’s so relaxing and addictive. But I have a few suggestions. I noticed that every time you get a level up, you get a new restaurant, but sometimes they come before other restaurants that cost less. And that’s because of the difficulty. But it’s hard to remember. The latest one that I unlocked was the Sushi Restaurant. It costs the same amount as the Breakfast Cafe AND the Chinese Restaurant, and yet it’s SO hard. Plus, the upgrades for every single restaurant costs a lot of gems, so I usually upgrade everything to two to fit my budget, and it still annoys me. And when I’m out of gems, I have to play levels to earn coins and XP. I use the coins for the Casino and it takes WAY too long to get 15 or 2 gems, plus it takes a while to get to a new level once you get to level 28 because you have to get TEN THOUSAND points of XP. I’m just saying, gems to be easier to gain and their should be clarification on the order of buying restaurants, from easiest to hardest. I did the Rock and Roll bar in more days that I did the breakfast cafe and yet the breakfast cafe cost more. But overall, I really like this game and it’s one of the best games that I have played.

Gems are the death of me. I love this game so much. It’s fun and has a really good concept with cool food and restaurants. That being said honest to goodness I’m so frustrated with the fact that it is nearly impossible to get gems unless I’m willing to sit and play over and over until I level up (which I’m not). If it wasn’t for the gems and the fact that everything is so pricey with gems I would 100% give this game 5 stars since it’s actually one of my favorite games. I just can’t get anywhere without gems since every stinking upgrade costs like 15 gems. A little note to the creators: people wouldn’t have to cheat the gems so much if you didn’t make them so necessary but at the same time so impossible to get. I’m not paying 100 dollars for a handful of gems that will only get me at most 3 restaurants with the upgrades of all the appliances, if that. It’s just not worth it to spend that kind of money on a game. It’s really sad too since I actually really really like this game just the gems ruin it for me. I really wish that the creators of this game would please just read over the reviews on their game and realize the main complaint in every single one of these comments is the stinking gems. Then they could fix the gem issue and make the game better. Until that happens I sadly have to delete the game the gems annoy me too much.

Just fine😊. Don’t get me wrong, this game is amazing! I’ve been playing it for 7 years since I was 5. And it’s an amazing game and all but..... they could make it better. I really don’t like how fast the customer wants something, it’s to fast and I think the time span for them to wait should be longer. I’m only one person working on a restaurant game. I have anger issues and ADHD so I would really like at least one game that was just perfect and fun that doesn’t make me explode with anger🤯😤🌋 lol, but seriously. I constantly have to be doing something and multitasking Bc that’s just how I’m built. So I would love to come back and give the best review ever! If the creator’s of the game would just make small adjustments that would be absolutely amazing! And also a ice-cream station would be great! Like just ice cream and stuff, not any other desserts 🍨. Please please take my suggestions or I’m gonna have to delete this app. Not Bc I’m a sore loser, like I said I have anger issues and I can’t control them very well so when something makes me mad I do things without thinking. Great Game but little things like expenses are ruining it. Great game! Honestly I really like this game. I really do but there are so many little things that are ruining the fun like expenses. I love unlocking new restaurants and foods but lots are very expensive maybe not in coins but definitely in diamonds. I mean, why do you need so many diamonds just to upgrade or something. In the Sports Bar, the almond drink mixer is super slow and even though I’ve had the Sports Bar for about 3 weeks, I haven’t even upgraded that mixer because you need 7 diamonds and something like 3000 coins! That’s the thing that really drives me nuts. 👎👎👎 Also what would help is more patience the customers have. Sure, the higher the level to harder it is but in like Level 6 I lost 2 customers just because of the mixer. 😑😠 Lastly, I think that you need to fix the casino. I’ve played it probably about 50times and I’ve only won about 4 and no, I’m not kidding. If you think I am try it for yourself 😤😤. You should add more “luck” to the casino. I think those 3 things could definitely be fixed. And there are more minor things but since these are major I'll only include those. Please consider fixing these problems.

Great game but.. To be honest, this is one of my favorite games on my iPad and it’s really fun. And one thing I love about is that your get too cook and it’s a challenge. But when I unlock a new restaurant I get so excited but it cost lots of money. And some times you have to redo levels, so if you do get this game you will have to work harder. And remember you will have to redo levels sometimes and stuff. But I love that in the game at a certain level you get the automatic cook machine this is really helpful if a lot of the times you have like a lot of customers, I think it’s way more faster when you have Max upgrade for the hotdogs or burgers. I would highly recommend and I think you really should get it when you have your gems. Save up because this is really helpful if you like to play the game a lot and you like really wanna do you like upgrades and you wanna unlock new places so far before I had it I didn’t have a lot of money but now I have a bunch because the machine. This game has so much stuff and I’m really happy because it doesn’t have a bunch of ads and it’s really realistic to bunch of like real life. But I feel like the cupcakes should be like you can spend money on them like for the upgrades because the germs and stuff I don’t think so. This is my review and I really really like the games please get it if you have a chance.

This game rocks, but its basically pay-to-play. I LOVE this game... ALOT But after you finish the first restaurant, you better have a lot of money to spend. I wouldn’t say it’s impossible to play without buying the gems, but if you’re a perfectionist like me and want to get three stars on every level, you’re gonna need gems. Currently, I have to play a level over and over and over and over so I can level up to get my six lousy gems to buy cupcakes, because I don’t have enough gems to upgrade my equipment. The cupcakes bring in good money and tips for the two rounds I have them, before I run out. Then I’m stuck playing the same round til I level up, I basically have everyone’s order memorized by the time I level up, but even when I have the food ready before they get there, I still don’t get 3 stars. They have a wait time of virtually zero seconds, and i still get 2 stars): Sorry, but I’ll have to put a hold on playing this game until some changes are made. It’s a great game with a great concept. I just think that you shouldn’t make people who love you’re game feel obligated to throw money at you.

Great! But you need to work on it. I really like it, I do! But there are some things you need to work on, say, have you ever thought of making the gems easier to get? Or making upgrades less expensive? I bet you thought of a few things, but I would think there’s much you haven’t thought of! Like making it easier to finish a lvl with all three stars, a way to do this is making the ppl have more patience, or you could make the lvls more interesting, a way to do this is making the patience faster or slower going down depending on the gender or order, say a hotdog and a coke, that would make it faster, a coke would be a little slower, a burger and a coke would be a little faster than a hotdog and a coke, a hotdog alone would be slow, and a burger would be a little faster, girls would have less patience than boys to add on more! To be honest, I really hope you try to add one of these, and I hope it comes trough to work! It has always been my dream for the developers to reply and or see my comment, and a add on to that dream would be for them to add it! I think my ideas would make more ppl try it, share it, or like it more! Please and thank you! 😄😁

Pay wall that gets higher and higher as you progress. I understand that devs want to make money through micro transactions, but it is poorly done in this one. First of all, to its defense, the first restaurant is very f2p friendly, but the more restaurants you get, the more you start to realize that you have hit a pay wall. The game becomes about grinding gems for a single upgrade that will barely do much in the short run. I would have preferred to have paid $5 per restaurant without the inclusion of gems for the beginning 1-2 upgrades while getting the 3-4th upgrades costing gems. The amount of money you would be paying for gems would have made you wish you would have paid for an actual game that cost money. I urge anyone to download and play though. If you are looking for a f2p, after mastering the first restaurant and maybe even the bakery, you’ll have to make the decision between giving them money or grinding coins for the casino for the small chance of getting free gems. It becomes very p2w at this point. I would have loved to purchase a full game version of this game without the inclusion of micro transaction (unless it is for coins, not gems) but this game asks for a lot of gems after awhile. It’s a shame, but with inflation and the cost of living increasing while wages remaining the same, I wouldn’t personally wouldn’t pay for gems. If you have money to blow, and you love this game, go for it.

Well...please read :/. I’ve been playing this game on and off and Everytime I stop playing is because of all the gems you need to get in order to even think about beating one level with 3 stars. There is very few options into getting the gems all in which resorts into buying them..and well even buying them you get barely any if you aren’t considering paying half a fortune! It makes me super sad because I remember first playing this game when it first really came out and it was easy to upgrade stuff due to me being such a low level so I was always constantly getting a gem flow going on...now, it’s so hard to come by for gems. It makes me super sad because I can almost feel the greed of the game developers...every review I’ve seen so far (especially recent ones) have talked nothing but about the gems! I feel like you guys are ignoring it and not really listening to the customers all for a few dollars from us....it pretty much makes the game nearly impossible to play if you want anything better than a two star...because you’re constantly having to use gems to upgrade items such as furniture for your customers, upgrade the tiers for the food and equipment..., unlocking restaurants....it’s super upsetting especially when this game was fun for such a long time. I’d appreciate if you guys would actually listen to the people who are downloading your guys game.

Great game, but gems are hard to come by. I enjoy this game but once you get to a far enough experience level, gems (necessary for making upgrades to complete levels) are harder to get, as more and more experience becomes necessary. Also, when the game has a promotion, the likelihood of winning gems in the “casino” lessens. These are all tactics the game developers use to try and get you to make in app purchases. $10 for 125 gems will only get you so far, when many of the necessary upgrades can cost 10-20 gems (Pizzeria) and new restaurants cost 25-50 gems. It can get very costly when this needs to be done over and over again to make progress. The only other option is to replay levels over and over again to gain experience. Additionally, some levels (Chinese restaurant), customers stop coming even if none have been lost because certain upgrades have not been purchased. Still a four star because it’s fun and the best time management game out there, but definitely designed to get you to pay, a lot. Get your wallets ready. Edit: I haven’t won a single gem since giving this a four start review - 5 days. So I’m going to edit to 5 stars and see what happens.

GEMS = Ridiculous. This is the first game I have downloaded in many years. Wanted a distraction from work and quarantine boredom, and saw someone mention this on Reddit or in another forum. First, I had this game on my iPhone and there was some weird glitch or idk that would NOT let me X out of the game (iPhone 11 with no home button). This happened twice before I deleted it completely. Tried on my iPad and the game worked better and was actually more fun because of the bigger screen, larger items, pictures, drag-ability etc. Was really enjoying the challenge part of this game, but now rarely play because EVERY. SINGLE. upgrade, item, piece of decor, move... requires a ridiculous amount of gems. And, there’s no “bank” to trade $ for gems. I would get excited when new restaurant options would unlock, only to get to level 1, 3, 5 before becoming frustrated by the lack of game play available. AND, they purposely give you the slowest equipment ever to start, simply so you have to upgrade (via gems). For example, the Hard Rock...omg, it could not be any more obvious. Such an a’hole design. I get it, you want people to buy gems, but here and there, or to unlock certain features/levels/restaurants - not, to play the entire game. Oh well. On a plus... I now have HOURS of my life back!!

The game. I think that this game is very good and is a lot of fun to play. It has NO glitches or anything to do with that. However, you need gems a lot and that can get annoying from time to time. Absolutely Frustrating. A game I’ve always loved, but when every aspect of the game is about gems (a paid currency) and they supply you with almost no ways to earn them otherwise, it renders it to nothing. With a game that is littered with ads, you’d think they’d become a little more lenient with their paid currency and supply some every now and then. I just wanted to advance in the game to another restaurant after the very limited amount of levels you’re given to begin with, spent 20,000 coins on the casino (resulting in 2 gems - needed 10 to progress) and an hour replaying levels only to still not have enough. Could be a very fun game but instead, of course, you are restricted by a currency they expect you to pay for and obtain in no other way that is free. Makes a good game a bad one with little to no entertainment and creates impossible progression. Sure, litter the game with ads, but you might as well just place a $5 price tag on the app itself. I can confidently say that I will never be wasting my time on this game again, as there are many others with a similar, very well thought out concept, without forcefully throwing a paid currency on you and completely restricting progression.

There are some in app purchases for if you want to spend money for things, but if you want no money spent, then there’s no need for that! Everything you need on this app is totally free! Therefore, because of all these reasons, this game is highly recommended!

Can’t get gems!!!!. Great game, but super disappointing that it’s so hard to get more gems, and without gems you can’t advance! I’m constantly spending all my money at the casino to win gems that don’t even cover a couple of rounds. I then have to go back and replay old levels for weeks at a time just to build up enough money to go back to the casino and do it all over again. I loved this game when I first got it, but haven’t touched it for about a year. Opened it up again yesterday and realised why I had abandoned it a year ago! It’s impossible to advance without having to spend my own money which is just ridiculous… and considering how many gems you have to go through, if I was spending my own money, I’d be broke by now!!! Looks like I’m going to have to bench this game for good now. So frustrating 🤬

Grumpy face. If I don’t have gems, how am I supposed to buy INTERIOR TO KEEP MY CUSTOMERS?! OR UPGRADE MY STUFF!? I’ve seen little tips that if I need gems, tap the plus by the money count! Well I’ve done that and it doesn’t work. It just offers my 200 coins. I do t want that! I just want gems! And, when you offer another game that’s like cooking fever, it doesn’t even give you the name! Absolutely Nothing Wrong. Cooking Fever is by far the best cooking games I have ever come across.i am in love with it 😍. It never gets old, has the best quality you could ask for, the kitchen upgrades are reasonable prices and much more! Yes people say that things just cost a lot of diamonds, but I would just skip it and do another thing in the game and wait till I have enough to buy it. I have just downloaded the game so I have to restart the whole game (even though I accidentally deleted it before and lost all my progress) but other than that, Cooking Fever is the best cooking game to date. 4-star rating: here’s why.... It’s an excellent game, addicting, good graphics, and overall, the best game to past time. Every level becomes more challenging, with the mission of earning enough coins and upgrading the furniture or the kitchen/food to serve the customers well. I really do recommend this type of game if you’re into fast pace retail games. That being said, the downside of the game is definitely the gems. I’ve only played a few times to finally realise the gems are required to upgrade and spend things that could assist you along the way, or rather, make the game a bit better. This, of course, requires spending real money to purchase enough gems to upgrade. I haven’t spent any so far, but it does take a while for you to grind and save up enough for gems.

Best cooking game you will ever know. This is literally the best cooking game I’ve love and played for years it is so fun and challenging to play and cook and the more levels you play the harder it gets there is no ads in this game which is what I have absolutely love the parts what I love about this game is cooking and claiming the coins when I win a level about the cooking parts during the stations of playing in it. It’s the gem thing ..⏳⏳⏳. I do like the game a lot however yes you do need gems quite a lot .. I am an early player in the game and it doesn’t give you much options to get gems unless you pay real money for it,I had to redo several levels just to scrap enough money together but I did win pretty good at the casino but did have to spend a bit to do so it’s a great game but the gems is out of proportion!being new to the game I already know I’m going to need a lot more gems to advance and get higher in the game that being said it’s an amazing and addicting game which I love the levels are fun and get more challenging and I see no reason why anyone should hesitate in downloading the game,there is no glitches or bugs for me it works perfectly fine but the gem aspect will lose quite a bit of people playing the game because it just gets to hard to play for example I finished one bakery and I didn’t have enough gems to buy another bakery or another cafe and so I was stuck..when will this be changed plz do change it as if affects not only myself but every other player I’m sure and when this happens the game becomes less interesting and less likely being played ..:(

Super fun but stupidly hard to get gems. This is an amazing game and so addictive and fun I would give it a 5 star rating. There is however one problem that takes out almost all of the fun of the game. The problem with this game is that to upgrade things in your restaurants you need coins and gems. The coins are at a good difficulty to get. But, it is so hard to get gems! There is no way to get gems except when you level up (happens very rarely) and get only about 5 gems, complete a daily quest or daily prize (only about 1-3 gems) or to play the casino which hardly ever gives you gems and makes you waste all your money. However hard I try I am lucky to get 5 gems in a day but more likely 1 or 2, which makes it extremely difficult to level up things as each level up requires around 5 gems and some require higher numbers like 12 gems.

Was once fun. I was so addicted when I started the game but the lack of diamonds is taking all of the fun away. I can understand that game developers want to make money. That makes sense but this is ridiculous. People will still purchase diamonds if they enjoy the game. So the casino is rigged. I can use all of my gold earned from repeating the highest level again and again and still no diamonds. I suggest more diamonds per level up and achievement. Improve odds of casino. There are other strategies you can use to persuade players to make in app purchases. Instead of making everything really expensive - which makes people want to just quit the game forever, take a look at what the most popular games are worldwide and ask yourself what it is they are doing to engage players that this game is not.

This game is messed.. I recently purchased 3$ worth of gems and got billed and everything yet they haven’t even come into my account 😐this was 2 different purchases (1.49$) and not one pack of 10 gems came into my game. First of all this game is a really “buy to win” game and it’s so uncalled for to make every in game kitchen upgrade purchase coins and like 9 GEMS!!!! when u level up you get a lowsy amount of gems hence levelling up is so difficult especially if you have finished all of the levels. I’ve been trying to level up by playing each game until i get 3 stars. but it’s barely helping me progress whatsoever. Another complaint WHY is it that when i don’t lose ONE customer i still get 2 stars😐😐😐y’all need to work on this game if u want to gain a good impression from players the layout is amazing! and it is overall a fun game but it just isn’t fun when you have to constantly buy to win. I’ve already purchased a pack of 10gems which worked (suprisingly) not long ago which barely helped me progress at all. Work on it.

Too hard and unfair. This game is great when I got it I loved playing it every day, but now I don’t play it as often because of gems. You need gems for pretty much everything in the game, you need them to buy new restaurants, you need them to upgrade your pans and food. It would be fine if it was 1 or 2 gems but it is 10, 20 or even 30 gems to get new restaurants. I have 3 restaurants and I have 3 stars in the first 20 levels but after that the only way to get 3 stars is with gems, I am only 13 so my parents don’t let me spend money to buy gems on the game. But even if they did it is $5 just to get 30 gems. I have tried everything to get extra gems, watching videos, inviting friends, downloading games and NOTHING has worked for me. I am to young to compete in their instagram contests and giveaways because I am only 13 and I don’t have instagram. Another bad thing about the game is how the game gets ‘rolled back’ and resets your progress. I had completed the fast food court and I was starting the bakery but when I opened the game the next day I got a message on my screen saying that there was a game roll back.

Great game!. This game is probably the most fun and addictive game I have ever played, and I honestly think that whenever I think that it’s time to stop playing, my fingers just tap on the next level. I think that it also improves hand eye coordination and faster reflexes while playing the game. However, the amount of gems that you need to spend in order to upgrade your resources compared to the amount you earn is a bit unreasonable, and nine times out of ten, you need to buy some with money. But some people (like me) don’t or can’t spend that money on a game, so maybe if you earned more gems in-game, it would be better.

Needs more flexibility. I quickly loved playing this game, it is great, fast thinking and could be awesome but it didn’t take long before I reached a point in the game where I could no longer progress or upgrade my restaurants due to how many gems were required and how unattainable they are unless you are willing to pay quite a bit of $$ for them. There is the added “bonus” of a casino style game to “win” gems or dollars but after spending thousands, it is obviously never going to happen. Very quickly becoming a game I just can’t justify playing if gems are going to be the only way to progress. They are currently so expensive and so many are required to really achieve anything. Happy to pay for the odd stash but not when they are asking so many to upgrade everything. Hopefully the creators fix these issues and make it more attainable or they are going to fast lose their fan base.

Add a gem update please!. I really enjoy the game but the demand for gems really ruins it for me, the only way I can acquire them at the moment is the Lotto, I think instead of having coins as rewards for daily Quests and achievements, you should either use a mix of coins and gems or purely have gems, I stopped playing after I couldn’t keep up with the levels because I used all my gems early game to max the restaurant (because I love maxing things out and continuing from there) I come back every few months and get 5 gems, which is nothing if u look at the over 50 gem cost of levelling things up and progressing. Please update this! Maybe add some sort of “Gem rush” concept or something, I’ll be back hopefully

Diamonds 💎 😤. Cooking fever is such a good game, like I remember being on the game for more than 2 hours playing and I didn’t even realise 😂 The only thing that annoys me so much is the cost of everything with diamonds. The game would be so much better if we were to just upgrade our equipments only on MONEY not diamonds. But when it comes to buying a new restaurant, then yes we have to pay money with diamonds. This is majority of everyone’s reviews and I agree with them. I think if you did this, more people would download the game, you’d get better, positive reviews and higher ratings. Overall, really good game, just wish you could get rid of paying diamonds for upgrading our kitchen equipment. This is would be easier

The problematic nature of gems in this game. The game requires a disproportionate number of gems needed for upgrades compared to coins. Furthermore gems are extremely hard to get without spending your own money. Considering the game has an add after every level (half the time you don't even have a choice to watch it or decline), forcing consumers to spend money on gems just so they can progress in the game is ridiculous. You need to make gems easier to obtain, or lessen the cost to upgrade the interiors and kitchen items by not requiring gems (instead using more coins which are extremely easy to obtain). On another note, the casino is also disproportionately coded, as in 2000 coins worth of 100 coin rolls (20 spins) I only won 150 coins. This seems extremely unfair, and makes the overall game experience discouraging and not fun to play.

It’s the gem thing 2.0. I read another player’s review on the game and completely agreed with it. The game requires you to upgrade everything at your disposal, however, gems are needed to construct upgrades and there’s just no way to effectively acquire as many gems as you need unless you pay for them. Just like the other player, I’ve been grinding it out to level up so I can receive the gem rewards but I’ve hit a slump now that all I’m doing is replaying the same levels over and over again. Even the winnings you get from the in game slot machine are slim to none in regards to gems. So, I hope the devs introduce something to increase the longevity of their player’s interests. Aside from that it’s a great game for the first few days.

Improvements please. This game is super addictive and creative. However, the fact that this game sets you up to dial is ridiculous. It has become SO hard to get gems, and so expensive. I would highly recommend having other ways to get gems not just through the mystery wheel and xp. Speaking of xp, how come after spending like 3 hours moving onto a next level, we only get rewarded with 7 GEMS!? Like seriously, that’s ridiculous. Cooking fever. Cooking fever is a good experience for kids because when they get older they will know how to cook and and cooking fever can be challenging sometimes and really fun to play and by the looks of the ratings I think it’s a very popular game and most people enjoy playing this game and it’s alright for a parent to help a kid earn some coins by helping them with cooking because I’m up to level 19 and it’s already getting a bit challenging for myself but I have got 3 stars so far in each level. And I hope that kids have fun times with cooking fever oh and almost forgot to tell you guys that you can get annoyed or frustrated with this game because if it goes to fast or something and the customers are waiting and the time limit goes down and they leave you will probably be like ughhhh and screaming because your cranky that the customer left

Stressful!!!. This game is absolutely amazing and I really recommend but I must say it is extremely stressful! After the level 29 the levels start getting harder and harder. They give you less cooking time and the customers get very impatient and i must say I think they have anger issues! While you are giving food they get angrier and angrier and then they just storm away! I do have something to say to. The customers want lots of fries and they is only 3 spots but for them but if they are 2 fries packets there the deep frier just refills it up to 3 and then I need more chips and then I have to wait longer for 3 more to serve and then the customers just storm away. So I think once you tap the deep frier with 1 spot available you should wait to serve them all up then re supplie. This game is so fun I really recommend downloading it right now and to my app haters there is no apps!

Great game with no need to in game purchase. Many reviewers have commented about the need to do lots of in app purchases. I have played this game for many years now and never needed to make a purchase. If you play daily they give two diamonds every day and if you finish a level you get 7 diamonds for every 9000 points you achieve. I can get this with about 20 mins play on a level 40 finished level. The game play is the best of all the cooking games and the constantly reviewing themes makes it a fun game to play. Really best suited to iPad or tablet as can be very difficult on phone handset (even Iphone 7splus).

Not enough gems!. It’s an amazing game. Really fun and so challenging but I wish there was an easier way to get gems. I understand they need to make money but the amount you need to purchase anything is so unrealistic. If they could offer more gems within the game I would be more inclined to buy them with real money but because even when you buy them you still don’t have enough, it becomes too hard to continue just repeating levels. In hard rock if I completed all levels with 3 stars I got gems as a reward, but it seems that’s the only restaurant that gives you gems as a reward which is a real shame! Such a great game just wish they were a little more lenient with either offering more gems for completion of big challenges OR at least making the indoor dining areas accessible without having to pay soo many gems for such minimal upgrades. It becomes too impossible without spending hundreds of real dollars.

Love but expensive.. I’m going to have to join with a lot of the other reviewers in saying that this game has become quite expensive if you want to progress. In the earlier days, it didn’t need as many gems to upgrade items, and coins were used more often. As each level has been added, I’ve noticed the developers become more and more greedy. A simple formula that a lot of developers haven’t worked out yet, is to make a cheaper product; in doing so, more people can afford, more will buy, and ultimately both the developers and customers are happy. It’s like 3 customers spending $10 gives you $30, but reduce the price to say $5, more people can afford it so you end up getting 10 customers which then equals $50. A few games have figured this out, unfortunately this isn’t one of them...which is sad because it’s an awesome game.

Best cooking game ever. Okay, I used to play this game a lot, and it’s changed a lot, as it’s levels got harder, but still is easy for me, unlike other games, it’s easier, the other games are unrealistic in shape, and stuff, this game actually is addicting, and I love it, I want the developers to keep this up! Good game, but too expensive to maintain. Great and very addictive game. Such a shame that all levels after the food court require gems for most updates. There should be some that are just coins, or at least an option to exchange coins for gems. Updates are too slow, I have finished all levels but can't proceed until the next update - although I'm sure I won't be able to do that without a heap of gems anyway! Ultimate glitch (updated). I’ve been playing cooking fever for over a year and when I went to do my daily log in discovered the game had completely reset it self!! I had most of the city shops unlocked and a few of the island ones now I’m back to square one. I’ve tried deleting and re-downloading but it didn’t work, I really hope this is just a glitch otherwise I don’t think I’m going to bother with starting over. Tech support was very helpful and understanding, they where able to restore my game and I can’t thank them enough

Good game. First review ever <== For those who are complaining about "get to level such and such and then I have no choice but to pay to get gems to continue". I have personally never paid a cent (sorry developers) but have every single restaurant/cafe etc in the game and maxed out the majority. If you log in to the game every day, after the 7th day you get 2 gems and every day thereafter (provided you don't miss a day). It takes patience to get the gems, but considering most of us are on our devices everyday it isn't a big deal. This is a fantastic game, which still gets regular updates, they change up the game play so it isn't just a repeat on the same old thing. Good work developers.

So addictive and very very fun!. Hi, I just want to say I love this game so much. I always try and go into the App Store and look for a decent cooking game but when I read the reviews there also minor and major complaints, like To many adds! So expensive! And I didn’t want to waste my time downloading a stupid disappointing game, but this game is the best! I have downloaded this game several times, me and my siblings love it😍 Plus it is sooooo addictive, I finished like 70 levels in one night! And I love upgrading my kitchen appliances. Although sometimes it might be a little hard to get gems without paying, you can still get them in daily rewards and when you level up. This game is the best, and plus it nearly has any ads, some games have sooo many ads but this one doesn’t. My only minor issue is that it does use the interenet which is fine but when I can’t access the internet it’s annnoying but since it an amazing game I guess that’s fair. Love the game! 💖💖💖💖

this game is so much fun. I love this game, although it is very addicting but you also have fun while playing. It can also be very time consuming which can be a good and a bad thing. If you need to pass time and love cooking then this the perfect game for you. Each level gets a little harder and harder in such a unique way. From coffee to burgers to hotdogs ect. I spent 8 minutes playing and I’m already up to level 6. It can get very stressful though so just be mindful. I would still really recommend this game though. I’ve now put my whole family onto this game ( cooking is in our genetics ) but still ahhha.

Fun but too expensive. This game is fun but the amount of gems needed to progress far outweighs the amount you can earn for free in XP level ups. After you’ve followed their social media and invited all your friends there are no other ways to earn free gems except by spending all your money at the casino, but that rarely gets you any gems at all. Not against spending a bit of money on a game I enjoy, but the cost of gems is excessive with a $15 purchase only getting you a small amount of upgrades and only giving you an extra couple of money muted of progression in game play before you would need to make another purchase. Shame. Think I’m going to have to leave this game unless some changes are made because for such a simple game it really is too expensive.

Decent replica of the hospitality industry, but over-reliant on freemium currency. As the title says, people want their food and they want it yesterday, this game even comes complete with cranky customers if you don't work fast enough. There is a huge variety of restaurants, from Indian and Chinese, to ice cream and a pub. One thing that really bugs me, the game is very heavily reliant on premium currency, and earning it is extremely slow and grindy, you either have to level up or rely on the extremely low paying slot machine, to the point you can blow over 30,000 coins and not win once, and when you do it's always the lowest paying bracket. The ratio of gaining diamonds to upgrade your equipment is painfully slow unless you’re prepared to shell out real money

VERY ADDICTIVE but..... I have to say that this game is super addictive. It is fun and very detailed. My only complaint is that it really drains you of your money. You cannot enjoy it and play it properly without paying real money to get coins and gems. You need them to do anything. And, the more you play, the more you spend. I’ve probably spent close to $300 and I’m only 2/3rd of the way through. I’m really surprised at how much it drains your gems and coins. At almost every game you also have one appliance break down, which costs coins to fix. So even if you think you’re getting coins or gems here and there, it’s never enough to play the game properly. All I can say is, play this game ONLY if you can afford to lose about $500 to the game, otherwise, it won’t be worth your time.

Good effort 😸. I love the game and it’s really entertaining. I’m stuck though with this dumb level where everybody wants this thing with milk. I like selling ⚽️ and 👕 and 👟 because they’re really easy to get. I think the casino should be removed because it’s gambling, I’ve only had gambling luck in The Legend Of Zelda A Link To The Past. I need to buy some things to help me make it easier to cook the things with milk. Anyway, the game is a highlight for mobile games that are common like plastic dr, and Bowmasters, and AB pop. I don’t play it anymore because of that awful level. In order for me to buy that milk machine because I’ve sorted out the other thing, it’s just the milk, to afford one it costs a whole lottery of 💎. They are hard to get and made me waste hundreds of dollars at the casino and they are rare to get in achievements. Without 💎 I can’t buy the milk machine so I’ll never get past that level. In summary, it’s an excellent game but it’s also hard.

🤩🤩. Ok so, I just redowloaded the game after uninstalling it only because it was kinda frustrating how I couldn’t complete the levels fast enough. But I am in love with this game again! There are a few bugs/glitches in it like it freezing sometimes ect. But I think the customers should have longer patience and the time for the game length should be longer and the customers come straight away, as soon as you collect the money. Fun but Pricy. Fun but pricy. This is my title because you use too many gems for just another restaurant. Like seriously? 10 gems for most restaurants you have to pay! Although this game is really fun I think you should make us players earn more gems a in a shorter amount of time. I notice the app trying to make money but this is too tough. Especially when you are on the higher levels. So please make a change ASAP. And I agree with one of the reviews that the Casino is actually rigged because you can't actually earn gems from the casino. GEMS. Cooking fever is a great game HOWEVER, it’s all about spending money. The upgrades and kitchen exterior ask for too much gems on small things let alone, BUYING A WHOLE NEW RESTAURANT!!!!!! I feel like this game, you have to buy your way to the top but I was very lucky to spend $3 on a mystery box which got me 1000 gems, but I’m still not happy about having to buy anything at all. The rules need to be changed for people to continue playing. This will literally be my hundredth time coming back 😂 only because I never had much gems to use to get high levels, but now because I have a lot of gems it’s easier for me but still sad for my sister because she’s stuck and refuses to spend money. Also cooking fever, can you put an option to send others gems and coins to help people, it’ll be a lot easier too. I love this game but it is too expensive!!!!!

Being Held To Ransom. I have twice downloaded this game, and quickly became hooked on the time management/memory skills aspect. However, it becomes very obvious after the first 12 levels, that unless you are prepared to pay real money in order to purchase gems, you just can’t and WONT advance! ☹️. Because of this aspect of the game, and being unable to earn the gems in any way, the play grows increasingly dissatisfied, frustrated and fed up, basically! The acquisition of gems needs to be tweaked. Not only for people such as myself on a very small income, but also for the kids playing. It is a great little game, however, this aspect is it’s great fault. As for the casino, I am REALLY torn by this option. Yes it’s a game, however, a casino is a casino is a casino! Bottom line: GAMBLING! As a person with a degree in Addiction Studies, I cannot agree with the inclusion of this in a general game. I have spent MANY frustrating hours in there, ATTEMPTING to win gems. All that happened, was I gradually lost all of my game cash....with a few won here and there...but not ONE gem, EVER!!! I even wrote to the game makers, asking them if indeed it WAS actually possible to win ANY gems, as I have NEVER been successful during my attempts to try and advance in the game, with the required number of gems. I have never received a reply! ☹️ It’s a shame. It’s a really good little game, but with a couple of tweaks, could be better.

Disappointing. All progress deleted/reset. This was something I did not want to wake up to. I attempted to play Cooking Fever before the day started only to discover that it started glitching and was unable to open normally. Now I have played this game or approximately 6-7 years with my child. Now the child no longer plays, but the adult (me) is addicted. To find the glitching, I decided to shut the app and restart. It did not reopen. I decided to check the App Store (IPad device). I noticed that 3 days ago, this app had an update. I decided that maybe I needed to update the app. So I updated it. I then went to reopen the game and noticed it had reset to Day1 (Fast Food Court), no money, no gems and a tutorial on how to play. I figured the glitch was still there, so I shut down and restarted my iPad. Still nothing. I checked support for this on the internet and read that there was “Support”. Support suggested I may not have been logged in correctly. Well just so you know, I have replaced my iPad twice in 7 years with new iPads and every time the account maintains my progress. I am truly devastated. I have logged my dissatisfaction with the “Support” link. I have checked my settings. So annoyed….! So much progress in so many years and many in app purchases. Surely you can see I have had my progress disappear? Regards Corey

Gets insanely hard very fast. This game is really well made, very fun and addictive but after finishing all the levels in the first restaurant it becomes extremely hard very fast and I feel like it’s a bit unfair. After buying my second restaurant which was the sports bar, I got to a point in the early levels where I couldn’t even pass because I had to buy upgrades which I couldn’t afford because I needed gems despite how hard I was working. You either need to buy gems, literally gamble for them or put in lots of time redoing old levels to get rewards and the fact you can’t continue progressing through the game without it being very time consuming and tiring or spending money takes away from the fun a lot. I wish the developers would just make this a paid game from the start and maybe not make it as difficult to progress. Also in the other restaurants other than the first one, the fast pace the customers demand of you and the amount of different items you have to serve at once can become extremely frustrating and confusing. I guess that’s part of the game, but the whole not being able to profess without gems thing is really off putting and feels like the developers don’t want you to enjoy the game unless you’re willing to pay, which as I said is why I wish they would just make it a paid game so they didn’t have to try and get money out of the players. I wish I could keep playing but it’s too frustrating :( I can’t even pass the level I’m on at the moment

Gems are a constant problem. The developers have made it so that further in the game it is impossible to progress without gems and they’re way too difficult to get a hold of. I enjoy this game but when all progress in 5+ restaurants is at a stand still because I don’t have enough gems to progress is seriously infuriating and makes the game unplayable. At least make it so gems are easier to come by but I doubt they will as they want you to buy gems with real money. Disappointing to say the least since the game has so much potential. Oh not to mention the daily reward that are randomised are so unrewarding as are the gift boxes you pay $3 for. I wouldn’t mind either of these things or the casino if the rewards were actually worth it. Not to mention a progress rollback made me loose my daily reward of $2000+ coins and there’s no way to get them back.

I have come back to cooking fever after dropping it for a few years due to the complaints like so many others of not being able to progress any further without making in app purchases with real currency. Your games are brilliant, illustrations unique to you yet you continue to ignore the feedback you are receiving and after these few years I see you have not done anything about it STILL! Very disappointed that you have let us down in this area, all other games allow you to earn necessities to move forward at a slower rate than purchasing but you DO NOT. Cooking Fever Is One Of The Best Apps Ever!. Cooking Fever is very fun! I enjoy playing; especially when I got the special offer for the first restaurant! It was very useful. I would also like to state that why don’t we get any help in the restaurant? But, I guess somethings you have to do by yourself, which I don’t mind. It gives me a challenge! Another thing I like about this app is that it is quite addictive, once I downloaded it, it was the only game that I every played that week! I don’t really have any wondering or anything about the app, but if your gonna add more, then I’m gonna be ready to get it! I remember on my old device, I downloaded Cooking Fever. Expensive in app purchases. I like the game itself, but the price for gems in the game is really pricey. There is no option to watch an ad for gems, and yes I’ve seen the response to other people’s comments about how to obtain gems. I’ve used a ton of coins for the slot machine, and only won once and it’s nothing compared to how much you spend to just play the slots. Also yes you can get gems from when you level up, but the higher level up you get the longer it takes to get there. By that time I’ve played the same levels a bunch of times, and it starts to get boring because you can’t upgrade anything or go onto new levels without more gems.

Annoying. It’s fun to play this game but there’s something the developer should look at. I bought 60 gems then it disappeared. I have the app in my phone and in my ipad but it doesn’t automatically appears on the other device. Such a waste of money. I’m upset 😪

Fall from Grace. The devs sold out for a cash grab. This used to be a great game where you could actually progress and play, but they now paywall you so hard you get winded. The grind for gems is ridiculous, it’s not even funny. I’d rather you guys not answer this review at all than to spout some bull like “you can pay money or complete daily quests for gems”. Spending no money will get you no farther than how you were a week ago. It’s just a big shame.

Ads. This used to be my favorite game. Never spent real money because I just enjoyed playing it, so I earned enough gems to continue. I barely play now since it forces us to watch ads. There’s a coin reward but you should still give us the option to exit out of an ad.

I would rate it a 5, if gems weren’t so hard to come by!. Sure, you can play the game with the few gems you earn by leveling up (7) or using the app daily (2) but I really wish they wouldn’t be so stingy with them. Do not upgrade!. Do not upgrade to version 19! In many restaurants, the customers have become very impatient, while it is not the case in others. Is this a bug or a new feature? And the garden cutters don’t seem to work, they just remove the plant.

Spend your coins or don’t play. Simple as that ... you need to keep purchasing gems if you want to continue to advance further in the game. They get you far enough into the game without having to need them long enough to get you addicted and then basically cut you off. They say you can win gems but that’s a rare case, and wouldn’t count on it. So if you’re not willing to spend your money just don’t bother downloading this game.

Expensive. I love this game but it would be nice if it was either easier to get gems and/or items were for higher prices & less gems. I used to play daily but I basically have all the restaurants finished. Just going back to upgrading older restaurants now but it takes forever due to many items costing 30 or 40 gems. My suggestion would be: - increase daily gems to 5 when you play consecutively. - increase casino gems from 15 to 20 - increase gems upon levelling up from 7 to 10 Also for people who have completed the restaurants it would be great if there were daily quests to get some gems, level up points, etc. I find it quite boring having all the tasks completed & only having to upgrade the rest. To play only to level up for gems is not much fun for me. Even if you could add XP to the casino!!

I don’t understand what happened help. I really like playing this game when I’m bored but something happened that really upset me and I hope the developers can help me. Yesterday I went back to play and all my data on the game disappeared. So I have to start from the beginning. Not only that. All the purchase I did also disappeared. I’ve played this game for years. I play other games but keep coming back to this one. I have never bought gems (sorry developers) and have never had a problem accumulating them. Also, practising a level does make you better so you can always play even when you’re out of gems. Recent introduction of ads was understandable given that you really can play without spending money. BTW, I like the product placements better than the ads (loved playing Hell’s Kitchen, and that gives an idea of how long I’ve played this game)

Too many adds now.. I have spent more money than I care to admit on this game because that is the only way you can get enough diamonds to play and meet achievements. Now you have no choice but to waste 30-45 seconds in between levels to get a pathetic 200 coins. I don’t need coins I have more than enough money from the hours I have spent in the past playing this game. Every time they play an add I put my device down while debating leaving the game because coins are useless too me, at least give me a diamond if you are going to force me to watch an ad. Going to lose a loyal player because it is really annoying. Makers got to money hungry I guess, beware of the cash grab and time wasting tactics.

Losing interest. This was a really great game up until they changed it that it’s super hard to receive gems. I’ve been playing this game for 3 years and I still have yet to score the multi gems. I think it’s impossible. Also Back then, at least you would win the single large gems at least once or twice a day. I took a 2 year break because of the lame changes. Now that I started playing it again, two days now and zero gems!!! Really stalling my game progress which will then cause me to get bored and quit playing. Update: yep, really disappointed. Super hard to get gems to progress through game. You will get bored easily and give up and delete.

Only want your money.... You don't get gems for everyday return and you can't do anything without gems...basically if you want to play if you have to spend - and keep spending, real money. You get tons of coins, for experience, for achievements, for returning, for every restaurant you open generates a daily income, but without GEMS you CAN'T enjoy the game, as you need it to do upgrades and the only way to get past a level is doing upgrades... It's actually a fun game and that's the one star.

Not as good as it used to be. I have been a long time player on both computer and more recently, ipad. They do not give you enough gems to upgrade and buy auto cooking improvments. It used to be that you could count on 15 gems per day in the Casino and extra gems as you play. Now I’m lucky to get 20 gems per week. By the time i get enough gems to buy an auto cooker the time has run out. Very close to walking away from the game

Flawed Cheating Algorithm. Before you play this game, ask yourself if you will be annoyed by the game when it decides to roll back your progress when you haven’t cheated. Don’t be too good and don’t waste your money because the algorithm will say you’re cheating and roll you back even if you only purchased or earned your place in the game. They ruin a fun game.

Love it, but gems are impossible. I really love playing this game when I have nothing to do. I’ve had it since the first restaurant with burgers and fries. After awhile everything is harder to buy because you need gems for EVERYTHING. Upgrades on kitchen items, upgrades on dining items, buying restaurants, entering a challenge...To make this a bit more reasonable it would be nice if when you get the experience points that the gems be 10 instead of 7, or when on the 9th daily bonus be 5 gems instead of 2. Once a new restaurant opens it takes me months to get through it with 3 stars because everything needs gems and not just a few gems. One good upgrade will be at least 13 gems and that’ll only last for a few levels to which you’ll need a few other upgrades. I used to pay for gems but I’m not spending anymore on it so I just play other restaurants over and over, which I do enjoy, and play the casino. I will keep the game because I do like it, I just feel like I’ve been playing for years and it’s getting harder to complete a restaurant since you have to wait to build up gems. Overall it’s a great game to play!

Great but..... Love playing this game, really do. Recent changes make it difficult to play. I enjoy playing this game on my iPad which does not have cellular data, therefore, at some times, I can not play this game because it needs to be connected to the internet. Despite other annoyances with the game my biggest annoyance: wifi needed. I've recently being very diligent about playing daily to receive +2 gems, but I recently Where played the game without wifi due to internet outages but in my apartment complex. When I played, I still received my daily streak, but never connected to wifi. Unfortunately the next day when i played with wifi I lost my 20+ day streak even though I had played, just without full connection. (Someone explain this to me please). As someone that travels and plays on an iPad without constant wifi connection this game become meaningless when you can't play it outside of your home. As a second note; I really wish gems were easier to come by. I try to connect to this game daily so that I can receive my daily gem bonus. I also play the casino daily to receive gems. I still never have enough gems to succeed in the levels.

Love the game, but... I have been playing this game almost three years. I was up to a 500 day streak at one point and I’ve only messed up my streak 3-4 times. I love the game and it is addictive, but the last couple of months it seems no matter how many times I play the slot machine, it no longer gives me any gems. I waste an insane amount of coins and time trying to get the 15/day that it used to give me. Like I said it has only been doing this the past couple months, so I wonder if they made an update that made it MUCH more difficult to get the gems. Yes, some days I would spend 50,000 coins before getting the gems, but the next day it would give me the gems much sooner. Now, it seems no matter how much I spend I don’t get any gems. This has made it to where I don’t want to play any more because it is impossible to advance far in this game without the daily allotment. Now I just log on to collect coins and every few day I spin the wheel for 5 minutes or so, with no luck. I will continue collecting coins for now in the hopes that they fix this in an update soon, but if not, I think my cooking days will be over.

Gems problem!!!!!!. This game is really stressful but that is what I like about it! It is really addictive and I can’t get my eyes off it! There is just one problem about it: not enough gems! You have to spend a lot of gems to get upgrades for your restaurant and sometimes to give your customers those cupcakes( honestly I don’t even see why you have to pay gems to give them cupcakes there is just no point) and in return you don’t get as many gems back. I had finished the fast food restaurant and the bakery but after I finished those, I didn’t have enough gems to get any other restaurants! I had to pay to get more gems and I didn’t want to pay. I know it is just to make money but then since I didn’t have any restaurants to go to I had to delete the game which is even worse! I really loved the game and I was really sad to have to delete the game. But that could have been prevented if you just made more option to get more gems! Then I-and many other people probably- would be able to get more restaurants and would not have to delete the game. Isn’t that a better way to make money? All I’m asking is to make more options to earn gems so it will be a better game for everyone.

I HATE gems!. I really like playing the game but I’m at the point where I can’t buy anything because everything requires gems in order to buy them and I have NO gems!! I wish there was other ways to win gems OR that less gems (or no gems in some cases) are required for upgrades. I get that restaurant would require gems + money to buy them but the upgrades?? They could also maybe include a way to win gems like adds or certain levels to win them or even to convert (the game) money into gems instead of making us use real money. I don’t have enough real money to use in this game so I have practically no way to get gems! I also wish we could win more gems when we level up... I like everything else but the gems (or actually the lack of gems) make it harder for me to move forward in the game and like it...

Excellent game!. This game is so addicting! I love after every level you get lots of money and you get a good amount knowing new things to unlock are a couple hundred. Like I said you can unlock new things such as, condiments, extra food, more spots for buns, more frying pans, etc! Another thing, not only is there one restaurant but other things like a cafe, sports bar, and more! There is also a casino thing (like a slot machine) where you can win money or (I think) gems. The casino thing does cost money from the game and you don’t win all the time so I don’t use it often. This game has great quality + awesome features! There is also many achievements you can get from playing and you’ll win coins! I definitely think this is an awesome game, great for kids and adults! This game deserves 5 stars! I definitely recommend to people who loves cooking games, realistic games, and who are nice and fast (knowing you have to serve customers in an amount of time before they get angry and leave). Awesome game, totally recommend!

Pretty good game. Game itself is fun, looks good, keeps the mind working, and is not too confusing visually. The only thing I don’t like is how expensive the restaurant upgrades (couch, tables, etc.), and the purchasing of new restaurants are. Like seriously guys, people are obviously going to still play your game, don’t you think that it gets a little tiring after awhile having to play all those levels to get XP and therefore get diamonds? It’s kinda ridiculous and a little greedy on your part it seems. The game is awesome, people will love it and spend money on it on their own time, I’ve gotten two $10 packs already and I STILL don’t have enough gems to get a 4th restaurant... it drives people away, and they’ll stop playing after awhile because it just takes up too much time. Maybe just lower costs, or make the upgrades MORE coins with less or no gems. Keep the gems for buying restaurants, it’d be easier for people to save them up if they didn’t have to spend them on extra dumb crap like a couch or table upgrade.

Fun, Addicting, and Impossible!. This has been my favorite game for the past few months. I agree with the other reviewers though; amazing game but ridiculously hard to beat due to the high price of upgrades (gems.) I’m not going to spend my hard earned money on a game so why not make it a little easier for people to earn gems? Or like another reviewer suggested, the more days in a row you play, the more rewards (again, gems!) you earn like Township. I do play the casino and try the top reviewer’s suggestion of playing every 12 hrs but it’s still hit or miss. You NEVER win more than 15 diamonds. I’m not really sure why the casino has double and triple diamonds or triple coins when no one ever gets them. One last thing, before leaving my review I saw the age to play is 4+ and that is a joke! The customers are way too impatient for a little kid to be playing this game. My 9 year old attempts the first level of my newest restaurant occasionally and ends up really frustrated. Definitely not a game for young kids! Super fun and addicting if you can be patient with upgrading and replaying levels over and over.

Fun but it’s a pay to play. Pretty soon into the game at your second restaurant you run into issues with upgrading your equipment. Earning money is easy but the gems are what controls the games. There is no way to earn gems except for daily log in(which aren’t everyday, most are coins), leveling up, and a small but possible chance with the spinner(costs either 100 or 500 coins to get on your spin and more often than not you don’t win anything, let alone any gems). It becomes impossible to complete levels with 3 stars unless you end up buying gems or waiting weeks to save up enough to upgrade a few of your items to earn enough to complete a level with 3 stars. I really do love this game because it’s so fun and the fast paced levels make it more challenging, but the gems issue really puts me off from continuing. I hope the developers fix this issue by either adding more ways to earn gems or even allowing people to pay for a certain version of the game where you don’t have this gem issue for upgrading items. It’s fun for a free game but I know plenty of people would gladly pay for the game to avoid the annoying gem problem.

I like it but a few things (namely, GEMS). This is a really good game very addicting but I only have three problems with it: -customers should wait just a tiny bit more, and they leave suddenly even if they didn’t get mad. And their food is still there and I fail the level since they leave so suddenly at the end of a level. -each time you get xp from making food you should make it worth just 2 or 3 more, takes me forever to fill up the bar, and the achievements and tasks should be worth 5 or 10 more xp -GEMS! Gems are so hard to get in this game! I feel like you should be able to get them easier. Everything costs gems and I just can’t afford it. Maybe there could be like you get 2 or 3 gems if you watch an ad, 1 ad per day. And I like that you get gems every week for just being on the game, I like that, keep it. But generally make gems easier to get. And I think upgrades for your restaurant shouldn’t cost gems. Just coins. To make up for not having the gems you could add another 100 coins or so. So yeah. That’s it. But I really like this game, it is awesome! But these are just suggestions I think the game is already great!

Ok the game is fun but..... Ok so this game is definitely a fun game to play but it’s stressful because you have to spend so much money for gems? Why can’t you watch videos for like 25 gems? It’s ridiculous 99$?!?! Let’s get real here...😒 a lot of games do this too especially ROBLOX and other good games but seriously 😐 can you lower the price please? I have 5 gems and I wanted to save up for Hell’s Kitchen But guess what? I spent them on something else....cupcakes and the customers are impatient the mood bar goes down way too fast for me! I can barely get a cake in the oven and by the time it’s done the customer is gone and it’s easily confusing because once they’re gone and their cake is ready, you don’t even know who to give it to...I love this game but seriously what game does this: EARN 💎S IN THE CASINO! And then you play the casino and you get NOTHING! And lose all your hopes 😑... I’ll tell you what game does that Almost EVERY GAME like this! Great game but... I love the game but it just costs so many gems once you get into it. At first it’s fine only a few to upgrade, but as you go on you need them more and more. Then after finishing level after level even though you need more gems to upgrade (and you have to upgrade) and the levels get harder as you go you are still only rewarded with 7 gems. Also the casino only awards for the single coin, double coin and single gem. In the almost 3 years I’ve played this I have never gotten the double gem, triple gem or triple coin. I never really need coins because they are easy to rack up. But I need gems constantly and you are only rewarded 2 per day I thought that might go up after a week but it doesn’t. I wish the developers would at least make a way to convert coins to gems. They could pay more gems for the harder levels that require way more gems to upgrade and reward you more the longer you get on and play daily. Like a raise every 7 days you get on daily. I like the game I will continue to play but it gets frustrating when you want to finish a level and can’t because you don’t have the gems you need to upgrade things that you need to upgrade.

Gems. I have been playing this game for years and rely on the log in consistency to get the 2gems a day. Recently though it’s changed from being anytime in the day of receiving them to once every 24 hrs. This has made it so I’ve lost my streak on countless occasions even though every day like clockwork I log in. It’s just part of my morning routine. Sometimes I get up earlier than others, so if I am earlier than what I was the day before I don’t get it and if I can’t get back on later in the day, then I have to wait 7 days to get my gems again. It’s very frustrating since you can’t hardly move forward in a level without having gems and I am not going to continue to buy gems to move forward. The slot machine also used to give you gems fairly regularly, but now I’ve gone through 100,000 coins on several occasions and not got any gems. It seems like this game is starting to be one of those where you have to spend money in order to play. If that’s how it’s going to be in order to move forward in the game now I am going to stop playing and not recommend anyone to play it unless you want to spend stupid amounts of money to do so.

Great Game: update. I love this game. One of my favorite restaurants is Michelle’s Café. For some reason, I am not able to serve the brownies and waffles to my clients. When I go to serve it, it just kicks it back to me as if the client hasn’t ordered it. This results in the end of the round with all of my customers not having been served. I’ve contacted customer service about this issue and have had not a response. It’s frustrating. Thankfully, I have lots of other restaurants to play, but this is very frustrating. Customer service, please help me resolve this issue. Update: issue has been resolved. Thank you! Also, there are too many ads. All of a sudden, every two levels I have to watch a very long ad (sometime a minute long). It’s an annoyance. For only 200 coins, which I don’t need. If it were for gems, I’d watch the ads willingly, but I’m forced to watch ads while I'm in the groove of playing the game. I appreciate the fact that the game is growing and you need funding, which is great! Congratulations on your expansion! But please, please back down on the ads. It’s a bit much. Or give us some incentive to do so with gems. It’s more inviting that way.

Unbalanced. This is a great game that I have enjoyed a lot of the time. However, after a few hours it VERY quickly comes to a grinding halt. At first you just need money for upgrades (which I’m fine farming for and replaying levels occasionally for) but then you start to need gems for EVERY. SINGLE. UPGRADE. Not just one or two gems but 5-10 for each upgrade in some cases. The only way to get these gems is by leveling up (which becomes exceedingly rare after level 10) or playing the slot machine which is HORRIBLY balanced. You can only win 15 gems a day from it and even then I have spent over 30,000 coins and did not receive a single coin back in “winnings” let alone any gems. It’s literally impossible for me to go any further in the game without paying for the severely overpriced gems in micro transactions. I shouldn’t have to spend much more than 5 dollars total for all the gems I will ever need in this game (its a mobile game, not a AAA title). However, $5 would barely scratch the surface of how many you need to actually pass any of the levels in order to unlock more restaurants. The gameplay just stops abruptly behind a stupidly expensive paywall. Definitely would not recommend for more than a couple hours of play TOPS.

Gems, Gems, Gems.. Love this game, it’s very fun and progresses fairly quick. My only complaint is the amount of gems required to upgrade EVERYTHING. The first restaurant wasn’t too bad, I completed all the levels with minimal gems spent. However, after purchasing another restaurant, I was only able to make it through 7 or 8 levels before it becoming virtually impossible to complete the level without upgrading equipment...upgrades which almost all of which required gems that I didn’t have😡 I didn’t mind playing the levels over and over to rank up and acquire more gems, however, after a certain point it takes FOREVER to rank up and I have to play the same level over and over and over, which becomes annoying. Also, the casino isn’t much help. I tried to acquire gems through the casino, and after spent 50,000 coins, I had landed on the gems 💎 ONE time. Like I said, the game is very fun, but after ranking up a few times expect to play the same level 40-50 times just to get a few extra gems...unless of course you feel like forking over some of your hard earned cash $$$...no pun intended.

Fun except.... I loved this game at first but for a long time now (over a year) it keeps cutting levels short. It’s basically impossible for me to beat a level on any restaurant now because the game stops when I still have 3-5 customers left. It’s super annoying especially because I’ve used gems to max cost of items and tip amount. Please fix the issue where levels cut off before each guest is served. Update: Upon message from the developer I was informed there is a timer on each level. Which is great for the developer because the only way you can increase the timer is to use gems which are incredibly hard to come by unless you can purchase them regularly. Unfortunately, my salary does not allow for me to spend hundreds of dollars on an iPhone cooking game so that I can increase timers and get past levels that I’ve been stuck in for months. So, I guess I’ll just either keep being terrible at the game hoping I can earn enough gems to upgrade all of my kitchen and decor items. Or, I’ll eventually get fed up and quit playing. Either way, the developer will probably be just fine and make plenty of money without me so I’ll just move on to games that are more budget friendly.

Fun if you want to pay to play!. This is a fun game until you get stuck.... To upgrade your kitchen you have to use diamonds. The diamonds are really hard to get so basically you have to buy diamonds to play this game. The cheapest they have is $1.99 (plus tax) and you only get 12 diamonds when a single upgrade can cost 40 diamonds or 30 diamonds to buy a new restaurant. To upgrade an ingredient it can cost you 30 diamonds and only increase the price per portion by one coin. If you play more than 7 days in a row it will give you 2 diamonds a day that’s right only 2 and when you level up they only give you 7 diamonds. There is a slot machine that you could put every coin you have and still not win any diamonds. I have won 15 diamonds a very few times but when you compare that to the cost of hundreds of diamonds it cost to upgrade for one kitchen it takes months to upgrade a single kitchen. So if you want to advance in this game you are going to have to pay to play or wait months for your 2 diamonds a day to accumulate. The diamonds are way too hard to accumulate and very expensive to buy when the upgrades cost too many diamonds with very little increase in profit!

Please Consider. Hi, I’ve played this game on and off for years… almost since I had my first apple product and was able to download it. I’ve deleted it on and off several times due to the fact the GEMS make it so you quite literally can’t move past certain levels… There’s ads galore, is that not enough to keep $ in the game?! I have spent at least over 50k+ (that’s a low estimate) at the casino and have only gotten gems a couple of times… and as for the “daily rewards” it offers coins basically everyday (which is fine)… but then on top of that the quests ALSO only offer coins. So it’s either you win them (which is so so rare) at the casino or you have to buy them. And even if you update the restaurant (i’m talking everything the tables, speakers, tv whatever) you still won’t make enough. you NEED gems…. can you guys at LEAST make the casino so if you spend that much there you get at least ONE gem. i can spin that thing 70+ times and won’t get one gem. 😢i love the game… but it’s like, i won’t even play it until the next day because it gets so frustrating.

Best thing ever. This is a amazing game I have so much fun playing it. It is the best thing that ever happened to me!!! Me and my friends play it for hours and hours and hours. LOVE IT!!!! 😍😍😍. So I thought that I would never like this game. And that I would never get it. But, a couple days ago I was tempted to get the game and play it but I didn’t obviously. After a while tho my brother showed me a game and I got this game to help me get better at the other game. I absolutely loved it!!!!! I thought that it was so bad before and that U would be stressed it is super fun though I really really liked it. I have literally been playing all day every day since I got it. I was using it as a backup to get better on the other game but now I just play it to have fun because the game is super fun and really addicting. But enough said I overall really liked the game I don’t really have any problems with it besides the diamonds which isn’t really a big problem I don’t really care about it I just kind of feel like that wouldn’t happen in real life but that goes for all games so I don’t really care about that and I would never take a star off for that because the game is overall really amazing and addictive so this game deserves 5 stars and more if we could do that. Get. The. Game.. Listen, I don’t write reviews. But lately I’ve realized I have some important views that need to be heard by the world. This is the only game I’ve kept on my phone longer than two weeks, and at this point we’re exclusive. I don’t even look at another game without thinking of cooking fever (It’s been at least 6 months). It was shown to me by children, and three levels in I was like, “Ok wait I need this children’s game.” It’s literally so fun and slightly manic at the same time. But when you hit that third star, THERE IS GREAT CELEBRATION every time (especially when the children are watching you and cheering you on). Yeah it takes a while to build up gems and move forward, but it’s 100% worth it, because of the excitement you’ll have with every victory. And if you keep playing which I guarantee you will, then you’ll get coins and you can win gems at the casino (which I think is rigged so that you only win once a day but I’m too terrified to spend my 500,000 coins to prove it. Honestly, just get it. I dare you not to like it.

Can you fix the cakes level please?. Ok I have played the game before and I had deleted it before might delete it again because when I got to the cake level things started getting weird when I tried placing the icing on the cake it would not let me and would make me waste time and I would only have one star each time I were to try again I would keep getting one star also the oven was very slow (remember I just got on the level so don’t expect I have money to upgrade that fast) and when I finally got the icing on the cake I would place it in the oven and it would take one minute to finish so I would wait well try to but by the time it finishes either the cake was served or it burned or time ran out it mostly burned a lot because of me not being able to place the icing on the next cake and I want to have more than one star so I can open a new restaurant but I’m gonna keep getting one star or just never get past a level that is so easy but Is complicated well I’m not saying just because I’m not but if you say lose weight well I’ll tell you I’m basically a walking skeleton anyways hope you can do something about that

The gems are a problem. I played this game several years ago on an old tablet and it was my favorite. I recently installed it again and can’t believe all the changes to it. Obtaining gems used to be challenging, but fair, but now it’s completely unbalanced. I don’t mind playing the game to have to earn things, but it becomes completely unfair when you are practically forced to purchase gems in order to get 3 stars on a level. The casino glitches for me on a regular basis, and either doesn’t spin after watching an ad, or just starts spinning and doesn’t stop, which is a waste of coins. It wouldn’t be so bad if it didn’t cost so many gems to do things. I don’t know that I’ll ever be able to progress to the point I was at before due to the outrageous cost of the gems. Not to mention that sometime in the last few years it started forcing you to have an internet connection. As someone who doesn’t have consistent internet access to their device, it’s very disappointing. The game itself is still fun, they just need to rebalance the amount of gems so things are obtainable instead of pay to play / win.

Challenges are crazy hard!. So I have enjoyed this game, and splurged and bought like 40 stars. A challenge came up, which I’d usually avoid because the challenges require an obscene amount of stars, but I had a bunch and decided to read the rules. It cost like 15 coins, but you’d win 30 and you had like 24 hours to beat 15 levels. I can knock out 15 levels in a couple hours, so I thought I’d try it! Well just so happens the levels in the challenge are ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE (Impossible in my case) TO BEAT! I get going at a good pace, but then the customers just don’t come! The only way I can see beating these challenge levels is to have upgraded every item in that level so that they are operating at full speed and quality. AND to have made all the interior improvements so that the customers come at a more frequent pace. So all this challenge did for me was take my 15 gems (plus thousands of coins) and make me quickly dump all the other gems I had to make upgrades hoping it would get me closer to being physically capable to beat the first level!! These people are really smart. And I fell for it. AVOID THE CHALLENGES! And you’ll be just fine.

Gem upgrades cost too much. I don't care about the decreasing time upgrades with gems but upgrades to increase the price on dishes are WAYYYYYY to much. If anything take gems down and add more coins. Don't get me wrong I LOVE. The game but it's just too much gem cost. Also on the daily reward if after 10 days you can increase it from 2 gems to three gems and another 10 days it's 3 to 4 gems and another 15 days it's 4 to 5 and another 20 days it's 5 to 6 gems. It could stop at 5 or 6 gems. That would totally help sooooo much. Thank you so much for the game I love it it just takes a long time to buy new restaurant and upgrade things and because of that I'm taking of a star. 1 last thing please could you make it so you don't need internet to play because if I'm playing the game and I have internet and then I keep playing it or at least keep the screen on and I drive to town where I don't have internet I can keep on playing but if I try to get on when I don't have internet it won't work. the gems are a problem. I LOVE this game, it's super fun and satisfying to play. Especially when you get enough coins to upgrade parts of the kitchen/restaurant, so then you earn more stars and bonuses. However, the further you get into the game, the harder the upgrades are to get. Like the gourmet restaurant. I have the coins to upgrade stuff, but it also additionally requires gems too. I don't have many gems, and they're very rare to receive in the game. Plus, when you get them, you get a small amount, which could only allow you to upgrade very small things, and rarely. This makes it actually impossible to pass some of the levels. For example, if I'm not able to upgrade the tea machine, then it takes way to long to make tea for the customers, and many leave, causing me to fail the level. But, I can't get any more gems until I pass more overall levels, earning more XP. It is a trap to get us to spend real money on fake currency. It's pretty disappointing. I understand why they have this, because they want to receive revenue, but I really think gems should be easier to acquire and would make more people keep playing the game overall.

Great game, but ads are glitchy. This is one of my favorite iPad games. I have never bought gems to advance, but it does take patience to get them. Some tips: 1. Log on every day even if you’re not going to play and after 7 consecutive days you’ll get 2 free gems each day. 2. Play the slot machine. I win 15 gems almost daily within 50 spins. You accumulate coins quickly in this game and soon you’ll have more than you can ever use on spins. 3. Keep playing levels. You get 7 gems for every 10,000 xp you earn. The higher the level, the more xp. I now have several restaurants that will earn 1,000 XP at level 40. My only complaint about this game is the ads. There is one 30 second ad after each 2 levels of play. That in itself is too many ads. However, the ads are now extremely glitchy and I end up waiting over a minute for the ads to unfreeze and sometimes I have to close out the game and restart. There have been 2 updates since this problem began, but there’s been no fix. If I were a new player, I don’t know if I’d think this fun game was worth the trouble of the glitchy ads.

So/so. I really like this game 😁. It is very time consuming and fun. Although this game has many perks, it also has a not so good side . When you complete all the levels it says, “try and complete with three stars!” (Or something like that). I finished all 40 levels with three stars.⭐️⭐️⭐️ By then I had a ton of money 💵 and my restaurant was pretty well upgraded. This is where it is gets bad (in my opinion). I was really bored with the game and didn’t really use it. Then I realized that you could unlock new restaurants. I had money so I went to the “casino”. You could spin and try and get the matching symbols. Blah blah blah ya da ya da ya da. You get the idea. You could “bet” $100, $200, and $500. I tried to get diamonds so I could try and get a new restaurant. I never really got diamonds or ever really won in general ☹️. It was either really close to winning, or way off. I tried and tried and tried and tried to get at least 10 diamonds 🥵. I eventually thought that the game was rigged so I gave up and deleted the app.😡😡😡😡😡 I would get this app, but you should know that this will happen. I really think that they should fix this and have you win more frequently. This is a great game, but I think that they need to fix this!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

New gem system is even worse. I downloaded this game again after a few years not playing. I’d stopped playing because the gems are so hard to come by, and the game stops being fun without them. It used to be that every day if you went to the casino you would win like 14 gems or something. And then you also got 2 gems a day for returning to the game. Now, they have “gem shards,” and 9 gem shards equals one gem. So at the casino instead of winning 14 gems a day, you’re lucky to win 6 shards. And then the daily rewards have changed so now you get coins and tickets to use in the casino. Which is lame because the casino won’t even give you gems anymore. Ridiculous! And you can earn one gem shard by watching an ad, which would be awesome if it were a gem, but as it’s 1/9th of a gem, it’s pretty pitiful. Also, there’s now forced ads. As if they weren’t making the game bad enough. I’m looking for a different game. This is just too greedy. Maybe if gem shards were 1/3rd a gem and you could still watch 30 second or less ads to get them. And the casino worked like it used to. As is, the game is more frustrating than fun.

Great game but can be difficult to play without purchasing more gems :(. I’ve had this game a couple years ago and I redownloaded recently for a few months and overall, I think it is a great game. It is fun to play and there’s a variety of restaurants to play at. However, I do have one problem. To unlock these restaurants and other upgrades in the restaurant, you need gems. A couple years ago when I had this game, gems were much easier to obtain. You were able to watch a video to get one gem. Now if you watch a video, you only get a “gem shard,” which is 1/9 of a gem. There is also no other way to get gems besides the casino (in which rewards are very rare), inviting other friends to play Cooking fever, downloading NordCurrent games, or buying them. I understand that it is important for this app to make money, but the scarcity of gems make it very difficult to play this game. I am sure that many other people have encountered this difficulty and I am sure that more people will play your game if it is easier to obtain gems. I hope you can find a way for this difficulty to be solved.

Nice game but some things might be adjustable.. So basically this game is a 5 star, it gives you instructions on everything you upgrade and how to work it. Although I think the limited time is very pressuring the person playing, as in me. I love this game and I’m so addicted to it but the limited time to serve a customer is out of the roof! I do though enjoy playing this game it’s very delightful, and I think personally the cupcakes shouldn’t take 2 diamonds to refill. I had 0 and lost 4 customers because of it. it’s not a very good thing to have that and if I can’t refill I lose customers if I lose customers I lose XP. Really fun game tho. Really enjoy it. I love cooking games because I love cooking irl. And I think getting more diamonds are very hard you don’t get them evey 2 minutes which I like, just every day. like working extra hard isn’t gonna get you anywhere I had to play for hours just to get 4 diamonds. Fun but frustrating. So...this game is incredibly addicting and it is mostly a lot of fun. However, the paywall is real. You simply cannot progress in the game without gems, and you have to either wait days, sometimes weeks, for more, or you have to pay actual money. There is at least one restaurant (can’t remember which one at the moment) wherein it costs 5000 coins and 40 (!!!!) gems to increase the in-game cost of an item from 10 to 12. That is absolutely absurd. You end up spending hours playing the same levels over and over to accumulate XP, and when you finally level up you only get 7 gems. Yes, once a day (sometimes) you an win 15 gems in the casino. Combine that with literal hours playing levels repeatedly and MAYBE you can come up with 30 gems per day. Then you can either unlock a new restaurant, which you will only be able to play for a few levels before you need more gems, or you can upgrade maybe 2-3 items in another restaurant. It’s infuriating. Anyone who says that this game is reasonably playable without spending real $ is either being paid by the developer to leave reviews, or is satisfied by extreme repetition. And yet, I play this stupid game every day.

Not so bad but could inprove. I really like this game and i started it yesterday im on level 20 and this is the real deal i have been looking for this type of game for a long time the decription of the game suprized me,i really didint see but when you get witthin weeks of this game then you get what i mean,I rated it 3 stars because It’s a really good game just if they added a couple things the reason why I rated the song three stars is because of that thing that it’s going on it has a couple bugs in it and it is very concerning to me I would’ve rated this five stars if I had known that that wouldn’t happen but I played this game for about a couple weeks now and that’s when you start experiencing a problem for older people that play this game that are oh geez they would know that I what I mean and what I mean by that is cooking Bieber has really good details in really good applications but it’s just it’s not what I’m looking for I’m sorry to say this but the game is really good it’s just if it hadn’t had a couple bugs and it wasn’t running off so bad I would never rated it a five star I’m so sorry and I think this is what you need to improve.

Nice but few things. I love this game, the concept of cooking and achieving different ingredients is the type of game I like. But I realized that in order to be good at this game, you need ridiculously expensive upgrades as you unlock more and more restaurants. Of course, it’s probably just me but I hate having to watch myself lose customers while raging at my stupid machines to work faster. Naturally, this is all so we can spend money to buy gems and coins. Frankly, I’m not so big on spending actual cash for a little game. But there are times where I want to pull some cash out of my pocket so I have gems for the upgrades. Unbelievable. And this isn’t in a bad way, just frustrating to see the insane costs for the upgrades. Also, dude it’s clear the casino is rigged so you spend hard worked money for nothing. It’s a very common strategy in other games where you watch an add to spin a wheel with rewards. Sigh. Anywho, I love this game because it’s genuinely fun, but I just don’t like the upgrades and the costs for very simple things.

need to care less about the money. the game is super fun and enjoyable- until you have three restaurants open. Gem are so hard to come by unless you buy them, but they’re required after a certain amount of gameplay to continue advancing- for upgrades and such that are necessary to complete levels. it’s clear the developers purposefully put players in this position so they have to buy gems to progress (you can eventually progress without buying gems although it goes very very very slowly), especially after they’ve updated where you can’t earn gems from the casino nearly as easily as you used to be able to. Bringing better chances for gems at the casino back, lowering the gem costs for upgrades, providing a way to buy gems with game coins (even at a very high exchange rate, or providing a better way to earn gems (like watching ads) would all be simple solutions to this problem, but the lack of anything like any of those ides being implemented makes it clear they don’t care about making the game more enjoyable in this way, it’s a ploy purposefully placed there so they can earn more money from impatient players.

Good, but Could be better.... Fun addictive game to play. The only downfall is it’s very hard to earn enough diamonds. 2 diamonds a day after playing 8+ days in a row is very cheap. You earn diamonds 6-7 diamonds when you level up, but the higher up the level you get, the more they give you almost an obtainable amount of Xp you need to reach the next level. Therefore you’ll be playing for quite some time before you level up again to get those 6-7 diamonds. And everything is so expensive to upgrade. You need diamonds to upgrade everything but no other ways to earn diamonds. They give 1 diamond each for liking them on FB and following them on Twitter. And 5 diamonds if you invite a person to play on Fb and they accept and download the game. No daily videos to watch to earn diamonds. The casino is a joke. You’ll spend thousands of coins and barely win any coins back and You won’t earn any diamonds. Please make more ways to earn diamonds. How are we to open up new restaurants, or upgrade our current restaurant(s) when it takes forever to earn diamonds? There should be a daily reward everyday with more diamonds, instead of just playing consecutive days in a row.

My favorite!!!. This is by far my favorite game!! So fun to cook at different restaurants with all different styles of food! And as the game upgrades, new restaurants come! With so many levels in each restaurant and so many restaurants, it makes for a highly addictive game! Never gets old. The one and only reason I give 4 stars is because it takes so long to get gems, without having to spend any real money. Gems are needed for moving forward for everything in the game. I don’t want to have to spend money on a game just to advance quicker. Someone brought up a great idea of making the challenges free, to motivate and give people the chance to win gems! Love that idea! Would be great! I’ve tried the challenges before and they are not easy, so you’ll have to really work for it but at least it’s a chance at winning a bulk of gems quick! For someone like me who’s addicted, it’s definitely off-putting when I have to wait day by day to slowly build up enough gems to upgrade one thing at a time. Other than that, I absolutely love love this game!

The game was fun at first, but.... When I first got this game, I loved it. I played it for hours. But then when I had completed all of the levels on the first place with three stars, and got the stadium, I didn’t like it so much. In the sports stadium, I got all possible coins from every costumer, and I still only got one star. I went back and tried them again with updated appliances and things, but still, only one star, rarely two. And it’s like everyone wanted sausage! At first you can only cook one at a time and people had to wait forever, which means that you don’t get so many coins. I updated the pan for the sausage and it still didn’t help much. I’m not even going to start on the almond milk. I know that most of the other places are probably simpler, and it might be easier if I updated way more, but I don’t have unlimited diamonds! It is really annoying when you can’t beat a level that you’ve worked so hard at and done everything right in. Eventually, after this major flaw, and me not having nearly enough diamonds for a new place, I quit playing the game. And to the creators of this game, you don’t have to rig it to get people to play and for you to make money! You’ll make more if people see a fun, not rigged, game.

Good game but…. Y’all really be eating it up when it comes to making games , but sometimes stuff is overpriced as in “Airplane Chefs” the fuel is gone easily and you have to wait a while for it to come back unless you pay and it’s kind of expensive and when you spend all your fuel you have when you start it gives you 50 but I think you should get 100 back because lots of kids play this game and they can’t always go ask their guardians/parents to pay for virtual airplane fuel but the game “Cooking Fever” is really pricy because you have diamonds their really hard to get and unless you level up or complete or get them for login rewards you have no other option but to pay. Overall its a really great game I like the graphics and the fact that it teaches you time management skills this is good for people who don’t know how to move quickly and the best thing is it’s fun and not pay-to-play so keep making games like this and you’ll have a number 1 fan/ 4lifer as long as you make games like this, thank you so much.

I change my mind... Basically, I might have said this is the beta game ever but after passing a few levels? I’m taking it down a noche. There’s many things that gets on my nerves. Therefore I rate it from a 5/5 to a 3/5 because: First of, the faces are really creepy but that’s not the main problem, 2nd we need more time, there’s less time to make fries, burgers and all of them. It’s not enough time! 3rd of all, when we are really close to getting a star it seems like the game makes us lose and not get it. I have proof since I screenshoted. I do NOT like that. I am always so close to getting a star but then the game ends just like that without the timer finishing is very weird. 3rd of all, it’s really hard, once I’m at level 31 it seems to get harder because it’s only one person which is me, I don’t get why we have to have like 4 costumers at a time with less time, it’s very unfair, to have 4 costumers per 1 chef it doesn’t make sense so can we get less costumers at a time, like 2 at a time, that would be really great thx. Overall I like the game but those are just the problems and they really need to be fixed please. Thanks for you time I guess 😅

Buying restaurants. I think I finished the game because when I finished the first restaurant I couldn’t unlock anything it wasn’t fair I could only spend money at a casino which made it worse because I lost money because I needed gems very bad very disappointed with the gems and restaurants I couldn’t play it anymore I just had to delete the app and my work to waste because of stupid gems make it easier or at least higher the chance of getting gems at the casino it isn’t fair I recommend not to play this game it’s only fun when you can afford things to be honest it’s a waste is time because you can’t afford anything I only have 4 gems because of the casino and saving in the first restaurant it’s horrible and you should fix the gem problem every review is talking about it and at least let us watch ads to get gems very horrible and it’s hard because you don’t win gems in challenges or levels please fix that to make your game better if you’re reading this please read your reviews and update your game please it’s horrible with the gem problem thank you for reading <3

Money Grab. Fun and addicting game. HOWEVER, in order to progress in the game, gems are necessary and they are nearly impossible to get as you level up higher. In order to get gems you must level up or play the casino. The higher level you get, the the more of a grind it is to level up and you’ll only get 7 gems from it. The casino is rigged and you will not get any gems from it besides the 15 gems the game claims you should get every 12 hours- which is not guaranteed as I have went days without getting any gems (even though I did not play the casino for a whole day to try to “reset” it so I would get gems). I spent probably 50k coins and still did not get anything. The casino will also not land on any of the 3 coin slots. If you’re lucky it will land on the 2 coin ones. But at no point will it ever land on the 2 or 3 gem slots. You will rarely get any gems for completing daily tasks. You will not get gems from restaurant tasks nor achievements. You can’t even get gems from watching ads!! At this point you would have to pay for gems in order to progress in the game which is sad because this game is actually very fun and the gameplay is the best from all the other restaurant games I’ve played. What a shame.

Love it but tired of waiting. First of all, I love this game, but when I finished the 40 levels in the fast food court it became super boring. This happened because I couldn't get gems💎 to get the bakery and now I'm just redoing the levels and going to the casino hoping and waiting to get some gems💎. After all I think this is a really fun game and my friends like it too so I recommend getting it😊. Also I want to say thank you to the people who made this game😊. It literally saved my life😲 because I have an old phone so I can only download certain games so I was really happy when I figured I could download this game because my other games are kind of boring and I was excited to have a game that was fun for once😄. But I'm really disappointed about the gems💎 because I couldn't bye them, I couldn't get twitter or Facebook on my phone so I couldn't follow them, I couldn't earn them from levels once I finished the first 40, and I kept spending them in upgrades☺️(That one is my fault). So I think someone who wants this game should get it but they are probably going to be let down when the get to certain point like I was.

Fun, Addictive...but. I really enjoy this game. Hadn't played anything like it since Diner Dash years ago and I like this better! I enjoy this game so much that I have spent a little money on it... but then it became a little ridiculous so I stopped playing and just "visited" the game each day to rack up the 2 gems you get for daily play. As you progress, the amount of gems needed does indeed get a little crazy. I have plenty of coins. How about being able to buy some gems with the coins? It gets to a point where you're not earning gems at a formidable rate and some restaurants' upgrades cost too many gems which leads to you not passing boards because those upgrades are needed just to pass. That's when the frustration sets in a bit. Like I said, I spent a little money on it, sure. Once I got into some other restaurants and saw how much was asked for stuff? NOPE! I'll just keep visiting each day for the 2 gem bonus and play something else in the meantime. This really is an enjoyable game to pass the time... but not enjoyable enough for me to spend considerable amounts of money on it. Think about that gem-earning issue would you Nordcurrent?

Death of Progression. The gem problem with this game is truly its worst flaw. The. Update that added gem shards worsened the problem in my opinion. Now, when trying to match gems in the casino, you have an even less likely chance to get a match with a whole bunch of new gem shard possibilities (not that the casino was even fair before) but instead of matching three of the 1 gem rewards, you’re getting maybe 6 to 7 shards which won’t even net you a single gem. Now that there are well over 20 restaurants, there has to be some kind of overhaul to the upgrades system, as gems are the single biggest roadblock currently in the game. The daily rewards system might be a solution, but it’s quite a poor one. Rewards increase as you log in more frequently, and I don’t think it’d be a good idea for players to play often at the end of the month since that’s when the most gems are handed out, but don’t bother playing at all in the initial days of a month since you’re given such a small amount of gems. Developers, you have amazing content, being locked away by the rarest currency. Please give us at least 3 new reliable ways to make gems quicker.

I just want to say that who ever came up with making this game did a amazing job and I think the at it is also me that by mastering like 10 levels it gives you 10 💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎 that you can use to update your kitchen and the best part is you don’t have to pay any real money to download this game or get the gems unless of course you want a lot of gems 💎!!!! Anther thing that I like 👍 about this game is that if you pay for a deal with your gems it is far like I payed 15 gems to have a full updated kitchen for 75 hours yes that’s right 75 hours that is more that 2 days!!!- these come with the game I didn’t have to pay real money I had to pay on the game with my 💎! I thought that was amazing!!!! But yes Al I have to say is that this is a five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ or should I say five gems 💎💎💎💎💎 game!!! ⭐️💎⭐️
