I’ve used this for a number of months and have had no issues and a lot of good use from it. The recent update has stopped all communication and will do nothing other than show a picture of a device and say that the app needs a device to work. My phone sees the device and now that I need to use it, it’s not working at all! Please fix this as it’s a waste of money until it can communicate with the device.
Changed phones and it is requiring me to re-purchase what I had access to before I changed phones.
32 dollars for nothing ...
Works great so far. The price is still just way above its value.
i would like a refund, after spending $13.99 in the app, only to find out half the features dont work, are not compaitable, or are not supported by my car. Hyundai Elantra
There aren't enough of these types of apps for the iPhone, but this works well to diagnose issues and play around with ECU data.
Made my truck stall while driving and connected to app.
Great item with flawless graphics and great quality!
Useless unless you spend another $50 to unlock the app.
Love it thanks
I Owen brookvale brakes all I can say it works for me up to now
Good application that works well
It is a good app, you will like it
Why is it that I have had to pay to use this app not happy at all
When I click on connect the app closes.
It's a good functional Program for the OBD sensor
It appears if there aren't very good iOS apps for OBD2 scan tools. The basic version of this app is useless, and the premium access is a disappointment for the price charged. I expected this app to be much better. Apple need to allow us access to premium updates for a limited time to enable us to evaluate an app before purchasing. This app has potential, but it require a lot more work. Emailing records provide unusable txt files. There is to little life data for commonly used parameters. The life graphs are good, but more parameters should be recorded at a time. If you evaluate fuel trim on a V6, you need both long and short term fuel trims for banks 1 and 2 as well as rpm,but you cant see graph with all this info for diagnosis. Playback of the data should be easy on the app, and you should be able to email a pdf file with the results. The txt email file has no value.
Estoy satisfecho con las prestaciones brindadas por esta aplicación, práctica y de gran utilidad. Felicito a los creadores de esta aplicación.
The app description states that you can clear codes with this app. This free version cannot do that. Most of the features of this app require an in-app purchase.
I purchased the adapter before I realized that the free version of the app does not allow for CEL clearing. That being said, the app does generate a tremendous amount of useful information. It has a relative easy to use and attractive GUI as well. I only wish I could clear codes and turn off the CEL with the app. It looks as if I may have to purchase it!
I've had this for about over a year now. I've used it on my friend's 2001 navigator and my 2001 BMW 330i. It's pretty accurate, for the most part. 👍
Software read some codes on five different vehicles. I knew some vehicles had additional codes. After upgrading the software it would not even connect to previously connected vehicles. Those that it would connect to it gave no additional information. All of the advanced features gave some pop-up stating as to why it was incompatible or unreadable. Complete waste of money. Scam. Rip-off. Buyer beware.
I got it to at least read my service engine codes, but other than that it gave me nothing else in the way of data. I was using it with Wifi Super OBD2 mini, from Amazon and found a different app that worked better without paying for it.
The total price for the full version of the iOS version (Premium access, which I can’t easily find a list of what is included in the iOS Premium access version) is $14.99 and the full version (Ultimate version) of the Mac app is $49.99 for a grand total of $64.98. I truly understand the cost of software development, and the time, and effort needed to keep the software up to date for all of the different makes and models of cars out there, plus all of the different ODB reader hardware. But, I just can’t justify the cost of total purchase price of Mac and iOS version. Now, I know you’re thinking it’s cheaper than most of the more advanced but “dumb” OBD scanners you can purchase in Auto stores. But, when you combine the cost of the software plus the cost of a reliable (I’ve tried different scanners from the cheap ones to the more expensive ones) OBD scanner the total cost can be anywhere from $84.98 to over $184.98 for the hardware and software. And while that may be okay for a hobbyist that tinkers with cars or fixes cars for their friends. The price is too high for someone that just uses this software on their own personal vehicle. My suggestions for the price of the Premium access iOS version should be $4.99, and the price of the price of the Ultimate version of the Mac application should be $14.99. If the developer wants to make more money, then the developer could offer In-App purchases for storing information of more than five vehicles, ten vehicles, and so on. I believe this new pricing structure would in fact increase the developer’s sales.
This has worked great and flawlessly on my iPhone and Harry's lap timer on various cars
Love the app only can't clear diagnostics errors
I have been trying to delete the codes for a day and half it won't work. Please don't waste your money.
