Long term user. I have used ToDo since 2012 and it is a very valuable tool in my daily life. It keeps me organized and my wife can add to the list.

Overpriced. Used this app for years to do simple task tracking. The custom repeats were good for the tasks I had. Went to add some new ones tasks with repeats only to find that I now needed a monthly subscription to do the same thing I had been doing for years. The old tasks still worked as long as I didn’t try to modify them but new repeating task required $$$. This app for the simple tasks that I use it for isn’t worth it. I’ll setup new repeating task in Apple’s Reminders instead. Legacy users should have to pay for these upgrades since we’ve been loyal users.

Great App. I've just started using ToDo7 to replace my previous task manager from Innov8tion, iTask Pro. I was using that for the easy sync with my local (non-Exchange) outlook tasks. ToDo7 blows it away. I can categorize my tasks, I've not started to use "projects" but can see the usefulness. The primary need for me was a non-cloud, non-exchange based sync with my local MS Outlook (.pst) tasks. This requires the install of a background application on the PC which installed with no problems and the sync is practically unnoticeable (i.e., fast and good). If there is one thing I would add it would be the ability to add a "percent complete" similar to what I have on the tasks in Outlook; fortunately this information is not lost during the sync from Outlook to ToDo so I can deal with it. I am glad I changed apps!

ToDo (basic version)..... I have tried every version of this app for years! I've had ToDo Pro, then ToDo cloud, and now I'm back to the basic version for $4.99 in the App Store... Support is incredible! They actually suggested that I downgrade from ToDo cloud (which is a subscription service!) It WAS total overkill for my needs, but you wouldn't think that the company would suggest that I downgrade; but, they did! They were right! This version is perfect for my needs-- I never used ToDo cloud to collaborate, and I never used the web service, (I think I visited that site twice in two years!) So, i'm back ToDo basic, and happier than I've ever been! I have to be honest, I did stray ...I tried different task managers, but they don't have settings like ToDo. For example, I need to put out the garbage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday every week. But it is not possible to schedule this on any other task manager that I've tried. But, it's possible in ToDo! This app is perfect for my needs, and if I ever have a question, Support is incredibly prompt and very knowledgeable. Kudos guys! Keep up the good work!! Five stars!! JP

Excellent To-do & Organization application for iOS. I've been searching for the best simple and effective reminder/checklist application since handhelds first developed (I'm talking Palm Pilots). I've had an iPhone since Apple first released them, and I keep regularly searching for "the best" most integrated reminder application for the iOS. I discovered To-do immediately, and it had by far the most features and options compared it to al the other applications available. I've bought Appigo's various versions of the app as it improves with the changing iPhone iOS (& I very rarely buy apps), using it on every new iPhone & MacBook Pro I use. There are dozens of reminder/checklist applications available, but for me only a handful possess any of the necessary features; user options; and iOS integration to the Calendar, Contacts, Maps, and Phone applications I need to be useful (so far no app has it all). Among these I use Wunderlist, Evernote, and Google Keep, however To-do still continues to lead the pack as my primary reminder/checklist application. (for now) Appigo will need to continue improving as well as add some missing basic features that competitors already exhibit, such as: (-) link due dates/times to Calendar app... (a quickfix might create a unique user iCal subscription) (-) link To-do lists to email account lists...

Bring Back Version 8. I don't trust this company. They should just leave ToDo 8 available to those who bought it, then release separately a new version if they want to require ToDo Cloud garbage that you have to subscribe to. I have read some of their claims that they can't "fork" it and all kinds of other made up stuff. Just make a new app and name it something new like maybe "New ToDo." There are countless names Appigo could use. Heck, you could even call it "Todo 2021." Anything you want - I'm pretty sure Apple will let you sell more than one App on the store as a developer. The way they made me buy this app and then removed its functionality and sign up for a subscription is simply criminal. If they had just left ToDo 8 alone and allowed it to keep working all would be well, but greed reigned supreme from Appigo and they will never get busy from me ever again. They simpy cannot be trusted. I still use ToDo 8 but with iOS going to 14.5 it doesn't work anymore because I think Apple did some ridiculous change to how they "sign" Apps. I have many Apps that have adapted to this just fine, many of which go years and years back. They just ran a simple update to adapt to the new signing process. Of course I can't do that with ToDo version 8 because they only way to update it is to go to version 10, which breaks everything I do with this App (I sync between my iPhones iPads and Macs via iCloud). I PURCHASED Todo for iPhone, for iPad, and for Mac. But they have been rendered nonfunctional because a developer is too greedy and lazy to release a functionally different product under a new name. Appigo has become the biggest joke of a developer I have ever done business with, and I would suggest that everyone look elsewhere if you need a task manager, or ideally just stick with using Apple's Reminders for free.

Awesome app. Love this app. It has made my life so much easier. I am never late with a bill or something I need to complete for work. Love it

Task Manager - Works well... Extremely effective as a task list manager. The notebook style interface makes organiing my tasks intuitive. I'm not a big bells and whistles user but the color scheme is an improvement over TODO version 6. It falls a bit short though as an iPad app. The leveraging of features within the iPad are still missing which is why I moved away from TODO 6. For those who are looking at this app these are the areas where I think a bit of improvement are needed.. Calendar Integration, I use my calendar to figure out how much time I have available before I setup my tasks due dates and projects. The lack of integration means I have to exit the app to see my time availability before planning or commiting to a due date. Map Integration - I like the integration with maps but to set locations independent of contacts a a bit cumbersome. I schedule a task with User or restaurant YI shoud be able to select from addresses set in my contacts. Not require me to re-enter the address to be alerted. Notifications - iOS does a good job showing my notifications but I need to enter the app to see my top priority items. If this was a cross platform app I would score higher but since this is an app designed for IOS I left my rating a 3 stars.

The Best. I'm am SO unorganized! But seriously, TODO keeps me VERY organized. I tried at least three other "todo" or time management apps before I found TODO. I've never had a single problem and the updates make it better every time. I LOVE the way I can quickly move a task to today, tomorrow, next week or a specific day/time. If I'm driving and think of something, I can create a task by voice just so I don't forget to add it later. Then of course, it sinks and just shows up on my Ipad when I get to it later. This app totally works for me. If you need a simple or a detailed way to manage your tasks and time, get this app. If you use multiple devices, pay for the Pro/Cloud. It's worth it and it works. Thanks Appigo!! Love it! It IS the BEST!

Frustratingly close to great. ToDo has better editing features than most task apps. It also has the cleanest design for viewing tasks, although I don't like the gray background. Finally, it has the best Apple Watch features I've seen in a task app. If only ToDo would do a few things better, this would be a five star app. Here's where it falls short. * You can only sort by priority and due date. For those of us who would like to take into consideration the duration of the task when sorting, it won't do it. This limitation seems unnecessary and keeps me searching for another app. * ToDo will sync with third-party apps like ToodleDo (my preference), but they withhold some app features if you don't purchase their Pro service. I would gladly pay their pro fee to get additional features if they would just offer them without forcing me to sync with their service. * The way they integrate Reminders isn't optimal. The app that does that best by far is Pocket Informant which provides an integrated view of both its task list and Reminders, but it doesn't force the user to merge the lists to get that view. Users can convert Reminders tasks to PI. On my wish list is that ToDo work the same way. Part of why I don't want ToDo to automatically move Reminders is that I often want alarms just for the items in reminders, but it's difficult to ensure that they're preserved when converted.

Amazing.. I've used Todo for two years now and just recently moved to Todo Cloud for Business at work. It truly is one of the most useful productivity tools I've ever used - putting planners, actual todo lists, and even Outlook's todo functionality to shame. The App is slick and beautiful, allowing me to create categories, set start and due dates, set priority levels, focus solely on what I need to do today, share tasks with others (Todo Cloud) - and so much more. Honestly, I've tried so many other apps... This really is the best. Now, yes, it can be slow and laggy as some reviewers say. But based on personal responses from the Appigo team I truly feel that they take feedback seriously and are working to make everyone's experience smoother. So yeah: Do I recommend the app? Yes. Both of them. (Todo and Todo Cloud.) Enthusiastically!

Finally! A Simple but elegant To Do app!. I am so happy to have discovered ToDo. It’s great to have a ToDo app that works the way it’s suppose to, in a beautiful layout, and it is so simple to use. Everything is in one place, and the functionality is right on! The best thing is that I can see at a glance what I need to do and what I’ve completed. For me, it’s all about little things like checking off things that I’ve done that makes me feel like I accomplished something. No gimmicks, like fancy UI that is all about the way it looks rather than functionality. ToDo has both—functionality AND simplicity. Great for those of us who like to stay organized! Just wish there were more icons that were related to the List that we’re creating. But that’s a minor thing. I love, love the fact that each list can be color-coded. When I had a Day Runner (remember that?), I used to highlight my To do tasks! Thank you, Appigo!

Silo’s. There was a time that this app was great. That was in the day that it sync’ed with desktop outlook. It never was useful to me and most at my corporation when they decided to go it alone and remove that feature.

Once the best todo app ..... My entire life revolved around this app for almost ten years. I go between Mac and PC and had the ability to sync, link and complete tasks for both work and home. However, for whatever reason, the ability to sync across all platforms vanished when the company decided to do away with its syncing to Toodledo. I tried to replace this with the Toodledo app but that isn’t working. The interface is abominable. Syncing with iCloud, which ToDo has changed to, is great but windows doesn’t recognize it. I am left with thinking about abandoning ToDo and going with Wunderlist since many seem to be pleased with this and it is cross platform. But I wanted to stay with this once small company as it is and was the only todo app that I felt worthy of my time. I have even payed for Toodledo’s annual fee just to use this app to sync across platforms. To say that I am disappointed right now (imagine 10 years of data) is an understatement. Yes the UI is second to none, but it seems as though a lot of attention has been placed on UI at the expense of utility. I would give this app a 5 if it could go back to syncing across multiple platforms.

Hands down the best. I am a to do app junkie and no matter what new ones show up that I give a try I always come back to this one. I have been using it for more than 3 years now and simply could not live without it. It is the perfect balance of simple to use and feature rich. I use it across all my mobile devices and desktops and the sync and interface make for a seamless experience. Apps go is amazingly responsive to any issues or suggestions and I have watched them fine-tune the app over time to near perfection. I should say that I have come to realize that to do apps can be a matter of fit based on how each person likes to manage their life's "to do's". There may be apps that fit your style better, but there isn't one better for me than this one.

App was great Todo 6 until it changed. I’ve been using Todo 6 forever, I’m getting a message that says the developer needs to update the app before it will work with this iOS. So it will not open. I have a lot of data in this app that gets lost with any other version except Todo 6. I’ll update my rating if the developer makes the update so I can open Todo 6.

My favorite app gets prettier... With some growing pains. I do like the new interface. I like most of what is here. Everything seems well thought out, with a few exceptions. I would like to change how priorities display. Currently, I have to have list-colored exclamations. These are distracting, they are the first thing I see. I didn't use list colors previously or exclamations marks, especially not to the left of the task name. I also sort by priority so I don't need to see the exclamations. I was happier with the choices before. I like the list icons and the way they can break up, great addition. I also like the new clean background and the way the list pops out with to style. My major gripe is that I have to have icons to the left of my list items. The previously mentioned exclamations as well as the stars are a major distractions from simply glancing down my list and seeing what I need to do. Please, Appigo, allow a little more customization as you did before. This will bring you back to 5 stars for me.

As good as it gets for iPhone (no clouds). I've been a todo-lists maniac for many years and this one does the job perfectly. The highlight feature I see is that you can make todos reoccurring every however many days/few days/weeks/months you want and have all lists with different colors for todos of different category or relation. You can then view all of them on a timeline together or just ones that have due dates for today and tomorrow or ones that you've started as more important or needing more time and preparation that others. Every aspect of every time of todo is covered. As for compatibility and iCloud and stuff, I'm simply using it on its own on my iPhone 6+ and no problems. At one point I thought I lost all my todos, but that's because when you tap dates on the calendar in any todo list, it hides all todos except the ones on the highlighted dates even if you leave the list you're currently viewing and go to another one, so check that if it looks like everything suddenly disappeared. Perfect app, armed with a ton of features and just not too many enough for my taste. Doesn't even need any real updates imo :)

To Do 7 App Review. Well developed app. This app gives the user the ability to create specific list categories and then make a list of tasks that are similar under such categories. For example: Housework -repair the roof -mow the yard -etc Schoolwork -assignment -assignment School Administration -internship proposal -follow up with the registrar Each category can be assigned a specific 'sticky note' color so that categories are easier to view as seperate. The app includes a focus list, and also starred list that the user can place flagged tasks into. It also allows the user to assign low, medium, and high levels of priority. The user can set multiple alerts at desired times, and include dates with the option to sync, or not sync with the built in calendar, because the app contains its own calendar. The app also notifies you using the iphone 'red badge' by displaying the number of upcoming tasks for the day. Tasks are dismissed by simply checking a box and will no longer be displayed as upcoming, but will instead be moved to a completion list. All in all, great app for the money if you find yourself having trouble remember smaller, daily tasks and keeping your tasks organized.

Noticeable Performance Improvement in 10.1.0. Responsivity is near real time now. Must have hired new talent because you can’t teach this stuff. It’s not real time enough, however, to prevent bait-and-switch substep selection, causing you to check off the wrong project or checklist after the app takes too long to sync and update. On the other hand, when you move through a repeating project or checklist slowly, checking off the sub tasks as you go, the app forgets about substeps after a certain period. So the next time you go through the procedure, some of the earlier steps are missing. And when you accidentally check off a project or checklist, all of the substeps are also checked off as one would expect. As one would NOT expect, on the other hand, when you correct the error, all of the substeps are still checked off. So you heave to go through the entire project or checklist and uncheck every substep. Very time consuming.

My go-to task app!. I’ve tried just about every tasks app out there and I’ve used this one successfully for years. I think it’s the best thing going!

I just deleted Todo app. Here’s why.. I used todo for years. It synced between my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. Now they seem to be pushing you to by their cloud service which is overpriced at $20 a year. I do not see you can even download the MacBook app anymore and can only sync on your MacBook if you pay for their personal cloud service which is overpriced. I usually just use iCloud for free I was okay with paying for this app a few bucks. It’s useful only if you use iPhone and iPad but not home computer/MacBook. By being too greedy they have made this app has completely useless to me and I just deleted it tonight and just use the native app in iOS which is just as easy to use, is free, and syncs just fine with iCloud. They are really crazy to think anyone would pay $20 a year to be able to sync it with all their devices using their cloud storage when I pay $36 for 200GB cloud storage from Apple. How much data can a todo list Actually use a year? Their price is way out of proportion to the service you get. It was a very dumb business decision on their part. One which has customers leaving them permanently since we can’t trust them to hijack our lists and data.

Excellent app. Looked for an app to replace my paper planning system. Many force you to store your info in the cloud. This one gives you the option - your choice. The features are just what I need - tasks, checklists, priority setting, the ability to set dates, reminders, and also to file my tasks by category, such as calls, tasks, errands, pending, family, personal, etc. You can choose to show tasks by due date, by category, etc. When I'm at my computer, I show calls and communication and get phone calls and emails done in one fell swoop. If I'm headed out, I show errands, and so on. Full-featured enough for my needs, has completely replaced paper planner and lists. Well done.

Once Upon A Time…. Once Upon A Time this was my go-to task manager. It had everything. But it seems like the company has not kept things up-to-date. The most glaring omission in their product range is an Apple Watch app. Why haven’t they developed an Apple Watch app like every other task manager app worth its salt?

Changed so repeated tasks require payment. Was a nice app until the changed to require payment for repeating tasks. It is now being deleted from my phone. Not worth the $6 a month.

Close but no cigar :-( 😖. Over the years I've used numerous to do applications. Appigo's todo v7 is attractive and functional. However, it has one frustrating flaw that has not been resolved for more than 8 months. While searching for a project task (a task with sub tasks) you can not change the details of the project task. Even though you can find the project task in the search. You have quit the search and go manually find the project task to make the change. And when working with a half dozen folders and hundreds of tasks. This is maddening frustrating and slow process. Had conversation with support staff back in dec 2013 / Jan 2014 about this issue. They indicated that they forgot to include the information button (i) on the search screen. It's been 8 months and the app has not been updated. The older version 6 of the app has been updated 2 time in the last month. Can we give version 7 a little love... I would really like to love this app. But, I can't. I've started to go through the pain of look for other solutions. Ugh...

Lacking basic feature for a premium app. Todo appigo review: Latest version: after exploring the app, it just doesn't has some basic option that I am looking for. For example, it does has a "global" app setting for due time and alarms. I did find a floral alarm setting in the settings menu, but it doesn't work. Also, when I have been notified of a task via an alarm, it should let me post pone the alarm to the next hour or two. The free app called errands has these options, and that is what I have been using recently. But beware errands does not sync to Toodledo and its iCloud function is not working. Like another user stated, I too have thousands of random tasks in the app. The worst part is that when I went to my toodledo account via a web browser, those thousands of random tasks were there also. Now it will take me another hour or so to clean these up. Thanks a lot.

Update usage difficulties - revised. I have revised my rating up to a 3 star after spending some time using version 10. I do not appreciate being forced to version 10 which is a lot different from version 8. I have invested a lot of time in how I organized and used ToDo. The order in my lists have changed, the interface changed, and I had no warning this was going to happen. I have finally “learned” how to do in v10 what I used to do in v8, but I have to do it differently. My biggest complaint is the lack of any notice or warning about the update. I saw the new icon as I opened it to add some tasks and it was noticeable different in organization and operation. What should have been a couple minutes to add my tasks turned into more than an hour to adapt my use and work around things that had changed. Not a good upgrade experience. Version 10 will probably ultimately be fine for me. Next time for a major change like this please give a heads up. Maybe have an update to the the current version that displays when you open it “Here is what is coming on X date” so we can plan for it.

Excellent task list. I previously used a high-powered computer program to manage email, calendar contacts, tasks, and notes. When my computer died and I got a new iMac, I decided to use the programs on the iMac instead of the previously mentioned computer program because I lost almost everything that was in my program except for what was on my phone. I couldn't see the point of setting it all up again just to risk losing again. So I decided to go for apps and programs on my computer and my phone that would sync with each other and the cloud. This program works very well. I can set up recurring tasks to recur at certain time intervals. It reminds me when something is due. I'm very happy with it and I highly recommend it.

I can’t use it anymore. Appigo ToDo was by far the best productivity app out there and I was a loyal user for a decade. I could open it on any device because I synced it to Toodledo which used to be a great web app. A year or so ago Appigo decided to stop syncing with ToDo and tried forcing us into some crazy cloud model so I had to choose. I chose Tooledo because I already had a subscription and the sync was flawless to their new iPhone app. The Toodledo app is pretty bad and I find it hard to manage tasks there so I spend most of time on web app - not very efficient. I tried to move to ToDo but there is no import from the app they used to sync to (how crazy is that from a business viewpoint) so I’m stuck with my almost 400 tasks. They said I could email them over - another crazy thought. So I and likely many others are unable to switch.

Mandated sign-up to use. No thank you!. Forcing users to set up an account and sign in is bad form. Synching our todos to your servers is privacy invading. Requiring a subscription to use basic features is an anathema. This app was once the best ToDo app out there. Brilliant design, convenient, easy to use, powerful. But after years of glitches; upgrades that deleted all our todos; the dropping of the marvelous companion app Notebook (sold off to another company that abandoned it); and the failure to provide for *local* synching to our Macs, we had to abandon it and stop recommending it to others. We would gladly have paid for new versions or pro versions with real improvements. Instead, upgrades were often retreats, steps backwards, with pay walls and hefty subscriptions. Sad, very sad.

Used to love this app…. I’ve migrated to this app due to years of electronic scheduling from the remote era of the “palm pilot!!” (Yes,I’m old!) I loved this app initially, however it has lost its appeal & much of the functionality. One of the things I loved, was the ability to create a “checklist.” I used it for shopping, packing & other things. It doesn’t work easily any more. I now have to reopen an old one & change it to meet my current needs. Really? Do I need to switch apps?? Is there anything I can migrate to that will carry over my existing tasks AND offer the features I need??? Please help 🙏

Transfer data. App was great. Have been using todo 6 for YEARS. After last iPhone update app won’t open and can’t transfer data to todo 7. Help!!!!! 😭😭😭

Forced Questionnaire. Get rid of it

Indispensable for Organizing. The newer ToDo version is slightly more complex than the original, but absolutely the best tool for organizing busy lives. I use ToDo more now than my calendar. It allows you to classify and order your tasks by date due, by type, by priority. It allows you to choose a time interval for an alert (reminder) for each task, and to color-code each task according to its type. You can choose to enter a simple task, a task that includes a checklist, or a project-task. Checking off a completed task is highly motivating (although I have not yet found the colorful strike-out on the new version, if it still exists). I use this app more than any other single app on my phone. I'm a convert.

Best to do app. I've been using this app for over 6 years, it's perfect for all my needs.

Great alternative to Franklin Covey. Having been an avid Franklin planner user for almost 20 years who has been painfully disappointed in their ability to create a simple app which replaces their terrific paper planning system, I am finding Todo an alternative which seems to be meeting all of my planning needs. Admittedly, I've only been using this app for about a week, but so far I've not had any sync issues between my iPad and iPhone or any glitches which seem to plague all apps of this type when you start using multiple recurring tasks that are spread over multiple devices. I've probably spent over $100 trying to find a straight forward planning app that just works. I think I've finally arrived at the solution that works for me.

Good application. I have used ToDo up to 2012 when it was getting old and several other programs were coming up with a better product. Clearly, the use of ToDo programs is quite varied. I have read multiple reviews and tried several of these programs. 1) Two things: all of these programs are good if you want something simple like make a grocery list. Anything will do for this; 2) careful with the prices and this is a complaint about ToDo. Yes youpay $4.99 but then when you try to synchronize you iOS products there is a request to ToDoCloud and now you are talking about a repeat charge every month or year. Do not purchase this. Use iCloud to synchronize as the ToDo Cloud is too costly for what they offer (sneaky!). This hidden price surprises are used in several other To Do programs (careful!). The new ToDo is quite useful. My tasks require a collection of tasks that can be way in the future (like two years from today I have to be in Uruguay for a conference). For me to know this is important when another request is make i.e. will a be available at that then? ToDo does an excellent job of data entry and organization of tasks. Another weakness of ToDo is the instructions that require a PhD to interpret and then you bettr figure it out yourself. I would highly recomend this product but it is quite complex as exxpected given its vast capabilities

I’m not sure how long the server has been down…. But my app no longer sinks and I haven’t been able to find anyone give me tech-support. My device used to sync perfectly well over iCloud. Pushing us to use Appigo’s proprietary network did not improve the service however I’m sure it helped to improve their profit margin (but at the expense of the apps performance.) I’m very disappointed.

Screw subscriptions. I’ve used todo for a long time. The first version I bought they stopped developing and released a new version. I kept using the old one until iOS stopped supporting it and ended up buying the newer version. I used it a long time again, then they stopped developing it and released another new version. The new version is subscription based. I don’t believe in subscriptions for simple software packages like this. If it would have been a new purchase, I might have bought it someday when the version I had stopped working. Instead, I planned to just keep using the older version until iOS didn’t support it anymore. It worked fine for my needs. But then they released an “upgrade” to the older version that wasn’t an upgrade at all, it switched you to the new subscription version whether you wanted it or not. I don’t care if they gave you a “free year”, I wanted to keep the version I had. But that’s gone, no longer available in the App Store. Taking the app I paid for away, when it could have worked for me much longer than a year is fraudulent. I will never do business with Appigo again. I’ve purchased Things 3 and will not look back.

Been using for years. Basically happy with the app. Does what’s it’s supposed to. UI updates can be annoying. One major glitch that messed me up this year is repeat yearly events after a leap year being off a day.

Best task management app on the market!. This is the first app that I have ever taken the time to post a review. I have been using this app for a few weeks now and it has become instrumental in the management of my daily tasks. I can truly say that I have never been more organized in my life. It's hard to not sound like a spy from the developer posting a review about their own product. This is truly beneficial technology that will help you keep track of everything going on in your world very effectively and efficiently. There's not much I can think of that they have left out here. It syncs seamlessly and thoroughly across platforms. My iPad has become relevant in my world again primarily because of this app. Go out and get it! Well worth the money.

Best app ever!. I have been using todo by Appigo since iPhone 3GS and let me say that it has come along way. From way back on their light version, I loved it from the get go. I loved it so much but was reluctant to pay $10 (at the time) for the app, finally I caved; but was not disappointed at all! It was amazing. It added many new features the updates made things better and better. Eventually they added a sync service through their own service along with cloud syncing and even drop box. I really hate paying for apps, let alone services that apps charge to use them, even something as much as $10 seems like too much; however, even their $20/year for the syncing services is amazing! I have todo on all my devices and it doesn’t matter if I’m at my desk or on the go, I can do whatever I need wherever I need. And because it backs everything up there isn’t a thing to worry about. I only have two suggestions: First being possibly adding an option to add the app to a desk top or a google like service, I’m not sure if this is offered for Mac. And second is if this app could be updated. With all the new OS updates there are a few glitches coming out of the works. It has been two years since the last update, and there really doesn’t seem to be the need to make any changes on something that’s already so great, but please fix the bugs that are coming from all this? Thanks again Appigo!

One-time pay app does everything I need "out of the box"!. I tried Toodledo for a couple years and felt like I needed an advanced degree to figure it out. The interface didn't play well with iDevices either. So I hunted for a one-time pay app I didn't have to create an account to use, or pay an annual subscription to, or pay for a bunch of upgrades to get the features I wanted. I really wanted an easy-to-use project manager minus all the crazy Gantt charts and nonsense. Todo immediately did everything I needed right when I installed it. The sub tasks do exactly what sub tasks should do, nested very neatly under the main task. I use it to juggle multiple projects. I can set deadlines or not. It syncs easily between my iPad and iPhone over iCloud or Dropbox. And I appreciate the notifications widget as well. I do wish there was a way I could postpone an alarm, but that's not a deal breaker for me. Thanks Todo for making an app that plays nice with iOS. After reading some other reviews I'm not sure how I'll feel about having my task list hijacked to pay again after another iOS upgrade, but I still prefer that to nickel and diming features or paying a subscription. Until then, I'll continue using it as my favorite task manager.

Forced to Upgrade to Todo 10 and Data Gone. When I opened the app today after upgrading my iOS version last night, I was told I had to upgrade from Todo 8 to Todo 10. I clicked yes, and it said it was preparing all my data and lists, but that was utter lies, since now when I open the app, it is all gone. Been using this app for years, but I’m deleting it now. Since I have to recreate all of my lists anyway, I’ll do it elsewhere. Such a disappointment.

Great Organizing App!. ToDo is a great app for keeping yourself organized and on track with all the things that you have to do! It's very intuitive and easy to navigate. The support team is always there and very helpful if you are "app challenged" like myself. I have found it awesome for keeping track of those pesky repeating tasks that I can never seem to remember.

Lifesaver!. I’ve been a loyal ToDo user for about 5yrs (I think) and it’s been a great way for me to keep organized. It’s great for habit forming when you are just starting your method for making to do lists and as I continued to use it, I realized I could combine my long-range plans, my immediate tasks and my email reminders into it. I haven’t used it with a team or group yet, so I can’t say whether it makes sense for project management with multiple users. But the mobile app combined with the desktop app on my Mac is basically how I organize my life every day. The one thing I would probably like to add to it is a history function. Yes, a task is gone therefore you can assume it was marked off, but occasionally a fat finger will edit or move a task or project and you can’t get it back if it’s been more than a day. Otherwise, I use this religiously and I make checklists all the time for small tasks under projects so it’s really a great tool for all the crazy competing Information I have to maintain all the time. Would recommend to anyone!

Moving on. Finally forced to upgrade from V8 to Todo Cloud. Got the warning the app (V8) no longer worked with the current iOS version and that I had to upgrade. Went ahead and upgraded only to lose all my data. Went ahead and paid for a month thinking the old items I had would show up. No dice. Lots of lists that I used are gone. Canceling the subscription and deleting the app. Been using this app for a very long time. I am pretty sure they had a lifetime option back in the day that I opted for, but so many of those lifetime deals were too good to be true. Bait and switch. Oh, that no longer applies as we have rewritten the app so it is a “new” version. Might have to go back to the trusty pen and paper lists.

Awesome. I have been using ToDo for at least 3 years...it is a wonderful app, easy to use. I sync across iphone, ipad, Macbook, iMac etc. seamlessly. Originally I used ToDo's proprietary cloud app (they charged an annual fee, not sure if they still do) and altho it worked fine, when they allowed syncing to Dropbox I use that as I have Dropbox on all my Mac devices. A few months ago I had trouble with the app quitting in the midst of viewing -- it didn't corrupt the data, but was obviously distracting. I got excellent support from Appigosync - they responded right away and worked on the problem for some time, eventually a new relase of the app didn't suffer from that problem. I highly recommend ToDo -- it has a lot of features that I don't use, but if one has sophisticated projects to track, it should work very well. At the same time, for simple to-do lists, checklist, etc it is easy for a novice to quickly become familiar.

Simply the best way to stay organized!. I love this App. I'm using the premium cloud version and it really helps me get things done and stay on track. The app is powerful and packed with features. Put some thought into what and how you want to stay organized and the app will make it happen. I use multiple lists so that I can focus on just those tasks/items instead of having a large mountain of a to do list with everything clumped together making it impossible to make any progress. With the cloud I can make updates etc while sitting at a desktop and it syncs perfectly and quickly with my phone and ipad. Before this app I was using google calendar as my task manager primarily for the cloud aspect as I'm at a computer part of the day. I wasn't able to group by "lists" and I found myself spending too much time trying to keep my tasks organized rather than getting things done. I find myself more productive with this App as its quick / simple and easy to use. I often find myself inputting items while on the go since it's effortless. If you serious about staying organized this is the app you want at a great value. The quick menu is a nice feature as is the default settings for new tasks.

Very good app. Very good app for prioritising and monitoring progress of activities.

Still use it since my old iPhone 3Gs. Stood the test of time for my needs

It won't sync. Since last update the app won't sync with Mac

Outstanding App. Powerful and incredibly useful.

What happened to the UX?!?!. Guys, you’ve really messed up the UX with setting dates and times in this latest version. Please please please revisit!!

Best To Do App!!!. I Love Todo!!! Have used it for a few years now and love it. What sets this app aside from the others is multiple alerts, custom alerts, multiple recurrence options, lots of view options. Great that u can back up to iCloud now without having to subscribe. Only suggestion would be great if I could add the todos to my calendar

Wilky. Does all I need plus more. Would have preferred no monthly fee. However support was prompt and efficient

Great app best I've used. Really good to do list. Has helped my life a lot. Recommend.

Sadly no longer supported. Once a great task app with equally great support. Now no longer supported with bugs dating back over a year. Support requests are closed without being resolved. Requests for help on the Appigo forum are deleted.

Excellent!!. Since using Todo, every aspect of my life has felt more controlled. I’ve tried a handful or two of task managers but I keep coming back. I love that lists, tags, projects & checklists can stand alone or be linked, that sub-tasks can have a diff due date to the parent task and that the layout and design is simple and easy on the eye. My only criticism is that repeat dates could offer more options. Instead of repeat this task ‘Quarterly’ I’d love to be able to say ‘Quarterly, on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.

TaskMaster.. App is great. looks snappy. does what I need which is setting up lists and projects for multiple client tasks. I enjoy using it, and use it everyday.

Markaratta. Still useless. Don't take any notice of the 5 star reviews either. Don't waste your money.

Great support. Used various versions for years. Had an issue with Version 7. Instant help from Support Team!

Great App!! Really useful.. Great App!! Really useful for scheduling tasks.

Great new look and function. Love the new look and functionality which adds simplicity of use and professionalism to the look. Abandoning the hokey "faux-leather bound -address -book" look means I can use this in business meetings without looking like I've borrowed my daughters diary.

Flexible, practical, beautiful. Well designed app that is very flexible so you can make it work for you in so many different ways.

Simply the best. I've tried many but this is simply the best!!

Solid product. Tried several competitors but this has, for me, the best design and functionality. Am using it in conjunction with Outlook 2010 and the CodeTwo Sync plugin for 2-way syncing of Reminders/Tasks between a Win7 PC running Outlook 2010 and an iPhone 5 with IOS 8.4. The only thing it lacks for me is the ability to set up a Personal List that filters on tags (there is a workaround using the Inbox function but this is not quick or intuitive). Haven't need to use the Todo Cloud but overall it met my expectations and is easily worth 5 stars.

Brilliant. Really love it, quick to add tasks but still has the depth when needed for task management. Great job guys!

Excellent task manager. I have used multiple apps to help manage tasks, and so far this app has excelled at task management across multiple devices. I use an iPhone and iPad and need them both to sync reliably and that is exactly what this app does. I appreciate the simplicity of this task manager which helps me manage the different areas of my life (work, home, etc). The task and project options also delivers a strong approach to ensuring things get done and done in a strategically smart way. Nice work developers.

ToDo 7. Hands down the best planning app going around. Well worth the purchase.

Basic, lacks power. Todo hasn't changed much in years and hasn't kept up with other task manager apps It simply doesn't have the functionality for GTD.

New update wrecked a great app. Used to be a great app have used it for years and recommended it to friends but since the update it has flaws isn't reliable and as I use it for medical reminders that's a big problem - the old adage of "if it ain't broke why fix it " definitely applies to this app :(

Excellent. I was looking for an app like this for a long time. I love it as it does everything I need need and more. The only downside is my 5s runs out of battery very quickly when I integrate todos with google maps. I regrettably had to discontinue use of that feature.

L. By far the best App to support a busy construction business. Be lost without it!!

Fantastic app.. But. Todo is still my goto app for my task list, and works perfectly with the Mac app but appigo have completely stopped development on this stream, instead only focusing on the subscription based todo cloud stream. Disappointing to see no further support for non-todo cloud users of their platform!

No direct upgrade path from v6. Bought this as I thought there would be a direct upgrade path and able to at least directly import. I have to sync instead which causes me to lose completed items over a year old.. Lodged a support ticket to no avail.. Also not impressed with double dipping either - upgrades should be free and if they are not should do the above - use GoodReader as an example of how to do this..

Fantastic app. Really good app to capture all my ideas and organise them in various categories for easy access and execution

Was great. I've had the original app for years. Upgraded to the new app which constantly crashes... No use if you can't access your data and tasks

Avoid !. I was using TODO for years then suddenly without warning the app forced to update to TODO10 which now requires a paid subscription model. After updating it opened up and my data is now all screwed up, tasks from years ago have popped up, some current ones are there but lots missing. Seems they’ve screwed this ho badly and haven’t tested it properly. This has caused me massive inconvenience, I’ve now lost all reminders for upcoming bills, important reminders etc and it will take me days of work to find all the information. Thanks for nothing Appigo !

Waste money. Constantly frozen! And there is no sound for reminder!

Crashing after update. Was excited about new iPhone 6 screen compatibility, however app is crashing now every time I start.

Used to be great. Have moved to Wunderlist since Appigo moved to cloud based ToDo with a subscription service.

Excellent organiser. I’ve been using this app across three idevices and an iMac for a few years now and can not fault it

Great app poor customer relations. I really like the app and have been using it for years. The fact that the company has made me buy a new version of the app to use the features of OS7 is pretty poor really. Apple didn't even charge me to upgrade.

Todo. Where is the quick action button gone in todo 8?

Great. I've tried what feels like every to do app in the App Store, but I've settled on this one. It works, isn't too complicated to use and allows me to make the decisions!

Good app but expensive. This is a great task manager app. Be warned though that to FORCE users to update to the latest version which costs $7.99 (AUD) they turned off notifications in the old version. Very sneeky & the new version has nothing earth breaking new in the iOS app!

No Microsoft Exchange sync. Unbelievably it still doesn't integrate with Microsoft Exchange do is useless for business. The most basic requirement of a business task app would be to sync with the companies Microsoft Exchange server in order to sync with my outlook. This app is possibly a nice toy for people to keep track of thing they need to do at home, but is otherwise a useless waste of money.

Missing components. Maybe this is easy for others but giving a task a completion time I can’t find. Also how do you delete a task in this new version?

Good but flawed.... Like the app bc there's plenty of ways to slice and dice my todo list. It would be nice if it syncd with apple calendar, allowing you to create a appointment at the same time as a to do list entry. Unfortunately deletes whatever your typing into it if the phone rings, you answer it, and you haven't yet saved your note or entry.. Also app crashed on call hangup that particular time. Also if todo item has a time and you re order list everything moved before that item now has a time stamp too. Not sure if this is a fault or intentional design. I like the app though and upgraded..

Great app.... A great app .... Always using it, particularly for recurring tasks...

Brilliant app, brilliant customer service. Couldn't get syncing working and the customer service guys at Appigo were brilliant. I love this app, clean and simple but very powerful. Best I've used and worth the money.

You should purchase again. I purchased this app few years ago. Appigo forced me to migrate to new version about 1 year ago. Today they banned my access to some important features and I can’t add any task. I don’t want the new features but I need to use the basic ones without paying money again.

Doest show personal lists. Got this after using v6 and syncing with Dropbox. Setup to sync in v7 and everything comes in but not in my personal lists which don't show. Major bug avoid until fixed. Also looks much worse than v6 but that's a personal opinion.

Awesome. Have been using it for quite some time and love it.

Great App. Best Todo app out that syncs everything and keeps track of complex tasks. Recommended

Unreliable. Terribly unreliable and frustrating. Been loyally using this app for a long long time but have almost had enough of it. Ever since new version released many scheduled alerts, randomly, don't happen at AT ALL; whilst in other cases they pop up at a time different to when they're scheduled to - out by days, weeks and often even months. I keep persevering hoping the bugs will get fixed, but it's not happening.

The Best. There have been a few little problems with the desktop version of this app, but the iOS version is brilliant. I've tried quite a number of task list apps, and this is the one which leaves me unable to think of a single missing feature that I could still want. The occasional problems with the desktop version are not bad enough to cancel out the strengths of the app.

Cannot edit / cannot sync. I love this app and still have the following problems I have it on mac book pro, ipad and now iphone6 1 - even after yosemite - cannot sync the todo on my computer with iphone or ipad - it keeps saying I need to upgrade my software - but I already have and it's not working 2 - i can't edit the tasks on iphone - the screen freezes over - i can't change the due dates etc - it freezes and then if I restart it it blacks out I am hoping these bugs can be fixed please!!!!!! And soon Just dont want to change to another app

Can’t open my lists. I made the unfortunate move of updating my Todo app today. Which really wasn’t smart since I don’t use the existing sync features. The new app popped up a message about the change and said that users were being given a one-year subscription as part of the update. Now I can’t open my lists unless I sign up for a subscription? Um, excuse me? I kept using Todo because I was too lazy to move all my tasks to a new platform. Guess I’ll do that now... from memory. Wish me luck!

Syncs with Outlook. In many respects, this app is just another task list; however, it has one feature which makes it very special. It works with a program called Appigo Sync which lets you sync your tasks in Outlook to this app without having to use the internet. In other words, your tasks remain completely private! One disadvantage of this program is that your computer and app have to be linked, and it frequently takes a lot of work to set it up. Another disadvantage is that updates are only performed when the ToDo app is opened and/or closed. Like many task apps, it also does not transfer Outlook features like embedded Outlook items, or bold text or different fonts or different font sizes, etc., etc. Unfortunately, that makes it much less useful than would be the case if it could really copy everything in Outlook. That also makes it really only practical to do one-way syncs, i.e. from Outlook to Todo; otherwise, Outlook's tasks would be overwritten by Todo and information would be lost.

Being forced to move to subscription service. Wait, what?! “This upgrade replaces Todo 8 with our all-new Todo 10 and includes many new features. We’re giving existing users 1 year for free. Your data will be migrated to our sync server and you will need to create a free account to login.” No no no. This is heavy-handed and unacceptable. I like the original Todo, for which I paid a one-time fee, just fine. The feature to sync via iCloud has almost always worked well. I don’t want to use Appigo’s cloud service nor pay a $20 annual fee for the privilege. (Actually, $60 per year, because three of us in the house were using it. That’s outrageous for a task app!) I understand if you don’t want to keep providing app updates in perpetuity for people who paid a one-time fee years ago.* I had already made my peace with that, since you haven’t updated the non-cloud version of the app in years. But it was still working fine. Now you’re basically making people (anyone who doesn’t read release notes or has automatic app updates turned on) upgrade to a new service they didn’t want. (*Actually, my preference would be for you to be honest about that and provide an updated version for a new one-time price, without making me enroll in your sync service. The iCloud sync service still works fine.) I’m going to stay on version 8 for a while and consider my options.

Great Task Manager. To-do syncs to the cloud and seamlessly lets me manage tasks on both my iPhone and iPad without missing a beat.

Unhappy upgrade. Very unhappy that I lost all of my lists with the upgrade. And I didn’t find that out until I created a user account. I doubt I will use ToDo any more.

To Do. Very confusing, won’t let me delete past due tasks. To Do 8 was far better & easier to move around in. Do not like it.

Great App. Does everything I need and keeps me organized. Sync via iCloud between iOS and Mac OS X versions works well. Wish I could create a second Focus list (one for today and one for the coming week).

Dropbox Sync Stopped Working. Dropbox sync is not working anymore! On their blog, Appigo came with the excuse that it is very hard to support other sync methods than their own sync service! They didn’t notify the current users in any reasonable way - there should have been at least a note in the description in the App Store. What is worse is that they still advertise the sync capabilities of version 7 in the App Store! I’m looking for other options now.

Good app. Good app. Works as designed. I'd like to have the ability to print a report of completed or upcoming tasks. I think the cloud synchronization subscription is a little steep. Additionally the "wallpaper" option does not work. Does not allow to revert to default &'no image shows properly

Good stuff. This app meets my maniacal list-making needs. The iCloud sync is a little spotty. Once that's resolved, I'd give it a solid five-stars.

Love this app. It's so easy to use and I love that it works so well in my phone and computer

Great support!. Good app, GREAT support!!!

Updates are not always a good thing. I have been a heavy user of the previous version To-Do Exchange for years. It was by far the best to-do app I found since most of my sync requirements were with Outlook. I had to purchase the new version since the old Exchange one is no longer working with the last IOS version... From a very user friendly app, I am now facing an app that require a software install for windows to sync... that software download link is nowhere to be seen on Appigo website... I then have purchase a non-working app to replace a working one that is no longer supported... I am very disappointed.

Angry. I am very angry at this heavy handed move. I was not a free user - I paid a one-time fee. I understand your desire to change, but the way you handled this makes me very angry. I get a year to move. Goodbye.

It's become an essential. I found there's a small learning curve in understanding how it works and some minor glitches (nothing that affects major function), but after that it quickly became an essential part of my daily routine.

Pas de synchronisation active sync. Pas pour professionnels sous Windows et non remboursable. Attention

Error Updating. Not updating with Dropbox Sync, at least there is an error message notification popping up

You destroyed all my reminders!. You bastards. I was quite happily using an older version of ToDo (I think v.6). Your automatic upgrade to 10 overwrote my version and eliminated all my reminders. I Don’t want to subscribe, I Don’t want to use your cloud, I will NEVER use your new version. Never, Never, Never force your users to upgrade by destroying their data! I can’t send this with the zero stars you deserve. The one star is their only so I can register my outrage.

The new version is so improved!. Everything works as it should, lots of features, super fast.

Has everything I need. I’ve been using Todo for many years. It can handle tasks as simple or as complex as I need. Having a desktop app which mirrors the mobile app and vice versa makes task management a breeze. And the customer support is excellent.

Great tool. I use it every day – it never disappoints. Perfect integration with Toodledo also.

All my data gone. About 6 months ago I found that all my data on Todo had vanished. Then it reappeared recently, and I was lured into using the app again, but yesterday the data all vanished again. I found through web searching that this is a known problem. Do NOT buy this app if staying organized is important to you.

What Todo needs todo.... What a Todo needs Todo is make their app reliable. 3-4 times a year the synchronization between my 3 Apple devices fails using Dropbox and before that iCloud. And I refuse to pay Todo for their sync services full of feature that are of no use to me. It's time to painstakingly move my 131 tasks to another app.

Disappointing. I have been an avid user for years. This new version is an ugly disappointment- they need to offer an option to allow appearance and usability of prior versions. Sorry, I'm looking elsewhere now.

Nice app. Well done, easy to use

Excellent!. Have been using ToDo for several years, and love it! Excellent easy to use and customizable for each user. With the Cloud sync, I'll never lose my data! Thanks!

Best List/reminder to do/ getting things done App. I love this app. I really do. I look for replacements because I e never satisfied with status quo but I can't find anything better. Good mix between simple and a good feature set for advanced users or large projects. I have all three versions - iphone, iPad and desktop. All of them work well.

Fantastic app. I've been using Todo for several years. Love it!

SELF REPAIR WAS APPRECIATED. A total seizure self-repaired in 6 hours. That caused fear of data loss that did not happen. So far so good.

Great gtd app. I use this in conjunction with dispatch email app for my gtd. I quite appreciate having the ability to sync with toodledo. I enjoy that web experience during my weekly reviews. I was mildly inconvenienced by the seemingly tedious nature of changing things like contexts and converting tasks into projects... Until I realized that the "quick menu" does that really well. Whoops. Push and hold the item for options. Good stuff!

8.0.4 Crashes 1 Jan 15. On iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 8.x, app locks up if while entering details of a task due date, it should bring up date setter but does NOT, as a result app basically freezes. Only resort - force quit. Relaunch shows the task that was in process of being created but w/o date set and if at this point, one attempts to set due date, it still locks up. Found temporary fix; backed up todos, deleted app, reinstalled, restored todos from backup, working again

Lost data. Wow. I did the forced upgrade from v8 to v10. And. None of my data migrated over. None. Well, except for two random (completed and long forgotten) items from 2015. Wow. And no support option for help with this. Wow.

Do NOT update. This came up as an attractive improvement, but I lost all my existing lists, a lot of important and vital information. I expected my existing lists to show up in the new version. It’s all blank. This is the work of programmers who rushed to release without considering the user needs.

Used to be Good, but they've dropped it. EDIT to previous review: This was a great app but the developers no longer support it. This app synced with OUTLOOK on a desktop, their 'cloud' does NOT. Newer versions of Outlook are NO LONGER SUPPORTED. Will use this app until I upgrade my Outlook then I will look for another app that will sync with Outlook on a desktop. As a matter of fact, their customer support told me that they will be dropping this app. Too bad, there are still folks who use Outlook on a desktop and like that their Outlook Tasks synced with their device. Appigo's loss. This was my previous review: Had Todo for years now. Love that it syncs seamlessly with my Desktop Outlook Tasks. Had a problem getting the two to sync with the last iOS update, but Support responded to me promptly. Can't ask for more than that when you have a problem. Does what I need it to do and that's what counts.

Great app!. I have been using Todo every day for several years and I am very happy with it. I like the simple and clean interface, but I also love that I can customize it to work the way that I want it to work. Excellent customer service as well.

Great app. I've been using ToDo for several years and it does everything I want it to do without fail. Highly recommended.

Todo helps me run my life!. I have used the Todo app for years and love it. It’s my most important tool for getting things done. As soon as I add a task to the app, I know I’ll get it done!

Used to be a great app. I've been using Todo for a few years now and it worked great. Lately the app has been performing so poorly that I am looking for another option. Todo used to sync to the iCloud with no issues so I have my tasks on both my iPhone and iPad. The last 4 months neither one will pick up the changes made on the other device. I have also had issues creating tasks for the last several months. I will create a task and it won't show up in the list. I'll create it again and it still won't show up. Sometimes it takes 4 or 5 tries to get the task to show up in my list. Then when I try to complete a task it will take me 2 or 3 tries to get the task completed. I'm not sure what changed in the app but I'm no longer a fan.

No google account sync?. Excellent app, but limited sync parties

Excellent app and great updates. Great app. Very stable. Nice features. I sync with Toodledo and it works perfectly. I track everything in it, personal and professional. Updates and constant improvements are also very good. IMHO one of the best todo apps.

Great ToDo list manager. Particularly like its integration with Outlook on the desktop using third party gSyncit toll

Great!. Excellent app, but having same freeze problem as previous reviewer, with iPhone 6plus. Only solution I've found us to delete app after backup and reinstall. Annoying! Pls fix

Best Todo App Upon the iOS AppStore!. Best todo app upon the iOS AppStore! I’ve been using Appigo’s Todo app since 2009 and it’s been a life saver. There are SO MANY things that I forget day to day but Todo reminds me if I write them down right away. This app will honestly change your life if you use it properly. As a writer, I constantly use Todo to write down small things that I want to remember later. This is an app which every busy professional and freelancer should have. It effortlessly works across all devices and backs up instantly through the cloud. Seriously, download this app, it will change your life! :)

Great app!. Have been using for close to 2 years now. Could not do without it!

Bravo. La présentation de cette version est superbe. Très utile au quotidien.

To Do 8. The magic of any APP lies in its simplicity. This one is simple in its presentation & operation. Best of all they have updates

Used to be better. About a year or so ago the app started alerting me to the due times for things I'd already checked off as completed tasks. If it's done, I don't need reminding but the damn thing keeps telling me anyway WITH NO WAY to turn it off in the settings. Asking for help, you have to sign up for an account on their site, no email address or contact form, just more hassle. Used to love this simple app for keeping track of things, now I'm considering ditching it for something less annoying and less trouble to get help with.

Great app. This is an excellent app for the money. It isn't as advanced as other GTD apps but most don't need that much. Thou is my goto quick list maker and for tasks that are not part of a huge project for my businesses.

It Works. It does what it says it does with no issues and a lot of options.

Horrible. It was used to be simple but now they made it much more complicated and you must have an account, passwords to just get in. Even using the previous version which is no longer supported and was perfect keep asking to move to this horrible version. I moved everything to google and it’s not complicated any more. Unfortunately going with small companies have the trade off of being unprofessional and unorganized managements/ owners.

My Favorite. This is an awesome GTD app... I think I could say it's my favorite and I've tried Things, Pocket Informant, OmniFocus and many others. I really like the simple and intuitiveness of ToDo... Plus, I love the UI. Why I'm giving this 4 and not 5 stars is because I would like to be able to use Siri reminders with it and would be willing to pay an in-app fee. I know it is available in the Pro iCloud version... but I don't need all the other extras that come with that... Like the group sharing stuff, since I only use this as an individual. At any rate, I highly recommend it! .

Very good. Excellent app with all sorts of options, yet easy to use. I have only one suggestions, and it' said small one: in setting tags for a todo item, it would be great to be able to set for 'all tags' along with the 'any tags' and 'no tags'. This would make it possible to view all but a select few tags, i.e. 'Groceries' or other lists that we might not want to view along with everything else. This would be especially helpful for those of us with a lot of tags.

Really bad app. This is a really bad update. I have been with Appigo since 2008 and have enjoyed its product over many others. Version eight was completely satisfactory to me. This version has many many glitches with in it, to name a few: it is a forced update even when one does not want it; it seems like bait and switch where one has to go to the appigo cloud; one cannot go back to version eight; it does not have a time or alert function; it is hard to get back to the basic information page; it gets stuck when one goes to a contact activity nor does it display properly; does not fully carry over all the information in version eight; plus a few more which I have yet to discover. Poorly designed! I have had to re-install TODO 6 to pick up some of these lost functions.

Increased my productivity. This app has helped tremendously with organizing my tasks and to dos. The ability to make projects and checklists, in addition to just normal tasks has been helpful. I'm able to build categories and as many lists as I need. I can create a project and then create as many sub tasks and checklists as I need under that. I can set a due date and then set a date where it tells me to begin working on it. It has been very beneficial and helpful to keep me on pace.

DO NOT UPGRADE TO v 10. I’ve been using ToDo from Appigo for decades. Started with Palm Pilot application about 20 years ago. I use ToDo app in combination with Toodledo. Unfortunately, the most recent upgrade to v10 that was forced on me (and based on the myriad comments on Apple Store on many other clients) didn’t work for me at all. Without my consent I was downgraded to an unusable application with limited functionality. My usual efficient routine was adversely affected and as result I lost a lot of productivity that translates into financial losses. I’m thinking about a lawsuit for damages incurred. I’m so shocked by the developers greed. I understand their desire to enrich themselves by extracting rent payments from their clients. Many companies encourage clients to switch into SaaS model. But switching everyone by force shows complete disrespect and ignorance of prior commitments. As a client I paid my money for specific functionality thus I expect to receive what was advertised and promised. Apparently, Appigo doesn’t care. Alas, RIP ToDo. I hope Toodledo that has a new team now will use this opportunity to capture the market share from Appigo because of the clients leaving in search for alternatives. And perhaps Appigo will learn soon that without trust there is no business.

Like the app but not ToDo Cloud. I've been using ToDo for several years and really like the clean interface. I recently wanted to be able to sync my lists between my ipad and iPhone. I synced with ToDo Cloud for a $1.99 fee not realizing it was a monthly charge until I started receiving renewal notices. ToDo Cloud might be worth that cost for businesses or integrated groups but not for a single user simply syncing across devices. I switched to Dropbox syncing to eliminate the monthly fee and it's working great. ToDo should improve the explanations of when to use which syncing mechanism rather than the global statement that ToDo Cloud is recommended.

MORE BUGS & MONEY HUNGRY OWNERSHIP NOW. Been using Todo for many years now, it saddens me to report that things are starting to go in the wrong direction for this service. Ever since new ownership has taken over things are not up to the standards of Appigo. I've been loyal long enough, time to move on. I paid for this application from day one, now they changed the way projects work where you HAVE to PAY now to create checklists inside a project or even move a task into a project. This feature was free from day one of this applications release, now everything is pay for "our" cloud service. This new update which is suppose to fix the last one where people lost ALL their task is just filled with MORE bugs. Now whenever you use the share sheet all your task list and colors get reordered each time you use it.

Great App!. This App is not only a life saver but a life organizer. I would be lost without it. I use it from everything at work, to organizing household items and finances. The features are endless and the seamless synchronization with the cloud keeps it safe. One suggestion would be to add a feature where you are able to integrate your work schedule right into the app so when you schedule a to do item you can see an overlay of your work schedule in the calendar. This is beneficial to people who work rotating days off or odd schedules. This is a 5 star app!

Like it more and more. I am new to ToDo. I've used iPhone Reminders and Calendar a lot...but frustration with "reminders" changes, limitations and recent instability sent me searching. It took a minute to figure out how to make ToDo do what I want [i keep lots of "interesting things" I like to find later as well as TO DOs, and I like "ordering" my list with Pending items out of the way] but I like it more and more. Last night I finished the excruciating task of copying things from "reminders", so I'm especially fond of the ability to easy move and change tasks, projects and lists feature! Now that I've got a "Go Out and Do" project that I change the date on every week, I can leave things that are "in process" above that on the Focus list. Shout out to all the other reviewers...you made this app a must try for me! I'm using it all day and sending everyone I know to check it out. Looking forward to learning more and using more features...

This company is for the birds. And by birds I mean vultures. First you can sync with Dropbox, then they let that break, so you switch to sync with iCloud, and everything works with some buggy performance. Then they upgrade to the new version 10, hijack all your data to their sync server and give you a year free, but any of the things you could do in old versions like repetitive tasks, they won’t let you do without subscribing in advance of the supposed one year free account. I’m looking online to see if other users have complaints and if anyone has a class action suit regarding the hijacking of the data that we must use their service. I may even start one myself. This is unconscionable !

Don’t change my options w/o telling me in advance. This app was in my inventory for many years and I was overall very (!!!!) happy with it. Needless to say I had quite an setup of tasks and projects, tags, etc. pp.. I believe over the years I paid twice or maybe three times the purchasing price for upgrades, which is more than fine. I would have paid again. It was well worth it. This last upgrade the developer Appigo decided to upgrade me to their own cloud subscription version - which happened without user notification. And, without subscribing to the new solution (albeit for free) I did not have access to my existing task lists. So, thank you, but no thank you - and thanks for all the fish. There is plenty of you out there and you are not it.

Excellent app. This is an excellent and powerful app. It has deep functionality, and I have come to depend on it over many years of use. Recurring apps, checklists, categorization, and an easy quick menu I’ll make this really useful to the busy person. To the designers: I’d like to make a feature request. I would like to be able to sort lists based on category then due date, so I can keep subcategories collected together in my view without having to manually order them every day.

STAY AWAY!. I have used this app for YEARS—on my phone, iPad, and Apple Watch. I loved it so much, I purchased it for my two teenage kids to keep them organized. I even encouraged my husband to buy it. It was flawless back then. Then, a year ago, it stopped working with my watch. I didn’t like that and found it inconvenient, but I still used it on my phone and iPad. NOW they have forced a HORRIBLE upgrade on users and are ‘letting’ me keep the app for one more year ‘for free’ (I ALREADY PAID FOR THE APP!) and then they will force me to pay a monthly or yearly subscription. This is unethical, in my view. I will actively look for a replacement app and when I find one I like, I am deleting this app and will discourage anyone from buying this product or using anything from this immoral company.

Used to be good until update broke it for iPad 2. The lockscreen widget was one of the most useful features for me. You could quickly look at the list and check items completed. However, several updates ago the checkbox got broken. Basically the checkbox disappeared. I opened a ticket and was told for over 4 months that the next update would fix it, (they confirmed it was a problem with the iPad 2) but several updates later it never got fixed. Eventually they just closed the ticket. I guess they do not feel obligated to support bugs they created that only affect older iPad models.

was: very good, update: avoid. Original review: If there were fractional stars I'd give 4.5. My only complaints are minor nits. I use WiFi syncing with the desktop ap and that works very well for my needs. Update: After building my life around this ap, it ended up corrupting it's database and would no longer sync. A week of going in circles with Appigo support resulted in me re-entering several hundred items from scratch in a fresh database. A month later, the database corrupted itself again. If it supported plain text export/import, I could have recovered reasonably easily. But they have never implemented text export despited multiple people asking for it in the support forums for well over two years. I've moved on to another product.

Not sure yet. I have all the omnifocus apps for the various devices, but I was hoping to find something that was a bit more light weight to use. I bought the ToDo iOS app and the OS X app. The iOS app wanted my email address first thing, there didn’t seem to be a way to continue without giving it one. Seems to me that should be optional when you first open the app. Additionally, there is no explanation on why they might need it. Is it necessary for the functionally of the app? When setting up the OS X app I had a question, I went to the help menu. It sent me to a web page that said "The page you were looking for doesn't exist.” I was trying sort why they were pusing their own cloud service ToDo Pro. “the only service that fully supports every feature available”. The app vs service and the explanation of what features you don’t get is a bit muddy. I also still need to figure out how to integrate ToDo with the native calendar apps. If I can navigate omnifocus which is a much more complex environment, I shouldnt have this many (hopefully temporary) roadblocks just trying to get the thing setup. Not really off to a good start, but I’ll revisit this review after spending more time with it.

Obnoxious pricing structure. ToDo has a pretty interface, I grant it that. However, the iOS sphere is chock full of capable checklist apps. The fact that they want you to pay a recurring fee to simply export a list to email is absurd. I could sort of justify a hoity toity cloud fee for more advanced collaborations and syncing, but now I'm ticked that I even paid $2 for the sale price for this app. I'd opt on spending a few bucks more for '2Do', which has a lot of options and customizability without a subscription plan. You can do more with the Taskpaper option in the app "Editorial", which has no subscription fee and is not even primarily targeted as a ToDo app. Dear reader, in the meantime, unless the developers opt to have updates that are more on par with the functionality of ToodleDo, Priorities, Pocket Lists, or even Paperless, you have plenty of choices available to you. The App Store seems to disproportionately plug apps with expensive in app upgrades (which it no doubt gets its cut of). Apple, it is your store and you can run it as you like. But this is my soapbox... there was once upon a time you were the alternative to the big brother approach, but now it seems you are big brother.

Love it!. It usually takes me a little time to adjust to changes in apps that I use every day, but I love the improvements on Todo! I was a little disappointed that I had to pay $4.99 for it but decided it was worth it to not have to re-enter all of my lists. And it was definitely worth it! Happily that one charge covered both my iPad and my iPhone version, and they still sync! Support was wonderful too! Keno answered all of my questions promptly and clearly. Thanks, Appigo!

Love this app!. I depend on it all day, every day to track my tasks, lists, and reminders. I wanted a very simple "to do list" app always available to me on my iPhone WITHOUT requiring Internet access, but that would sync with my laptop (Mac) quickly and easily - it works great! Easy to use and customize, I can both prioritize AND reorder items, and look at one or more list categories. Love it, depend on it, and support is excellent and responsive. A few times after upgrades, or not syncing while on vacation, I've had trouble syncing when I get back to my Mac, but support responded quickly and fixed the problem.

Used to be good.... But now, since the last update, this app is broken. I use Dropbox to sync my todo lists on this app between my iPhone and computer. After the last update, my Dropbox sync was broken. I was able to fix the Mac app with a sync reset, but nothing is working to fix the iPhone. I've done a sync reset, reinstalled the app, I've even uninstalled the app, reset the phone, and reinstalled the app but it is STILL broken! It's bad enough I was forced off of iCloud sync, but is the developer forcing us off of Dropbox so we're forced onto the todo cloud? If that's the case, time to shop for a new app. Disappointed. This app used to be good, it can be good again by fixing this issue, if not, then this app is useless.

No export! No way to safeguard data. This is an excellent app, organizing tasks the way I think. HOWEVER, you cannot export to csv, Outlook or any other generalized format for safekeeping and archiving The data is LOCKED IN, and if they go out of business (which seems likely given their dialing back support for things like Outlook sync’ing), then you no longer have a record of your activities. I am looking for a way to (unfortunately) manually transfer data to another decent To Do app

I use it every day. I just upgraded and like the new design and features. All of my items back up to iCloud automatically. I am able to: set reoccurring items, designate work and home items separately, set times for items with the option to sound a reminder alarm, and use a checklist format for an item if desired. This app has been a life-saver to help me stay organized and I use it many times a day. I highly recommend this app.

Terrific App. I used Apple's Reminders app since it came out, but found it lacking in several key ways. For example, reminders must be made with the time, there is no way to simply enter a due date for a task. And other then a chronological listing of reminders, there is no other way to organize tasks. Todo app solves that. With Todo, you can organize tasks by a focus list, starred tasks, or other priorities. The syncing of tasks among all my devices is flawless. The interface is clean and uncomplicated, and it's very easy to organize different lists with bright colors for easy recognition. This app has greatly simplified how I manage tasks. I would highly recommend it.

Best to-do app!!! ***feedback/bug I found. I love this app. After trying 10 different solutions for my to-do and project management this one has proven the most intuitive and feature-rich without being overwhelming and arduous to manage/input. ***Feedback/Bug: when using the quick menu "> project" a list of projects comes up. When I tap to select a project the list does NOT go away, and I need to click another folder to get back to the task lists.

Just what I needed. This app works very well with the get things done (GTD) system. It also sinks between my iPad and iPhone without me having to buy the app twice. You can add context to each task, which I like, as well as sort tasks by due date or priority, add reminders, add start dates, recurring tasks, etc. You can also set up multiple lists/folders, as well as projects. I use iCloud to sync, and so far, it has worked perfectly. I highly recommend this app!

Saying goodbye to an old friend. I don’t need to sync with other devices, I don’t collaborate with other people, etc. and I don’t need to pay a reoccurring subscription fee to continue to use software that I already purchased. Appigo should have put the advanced features into a pro version of the app and charge a subscription fee to those who find those advanced features worth the price. They could then continue a “standard” version of the app for those whose needs are more modest and honor their commitment to those who have already paid for it. Instead, they make a big grab for a large revenue stream. I have recommended this app to so many people over the years, but no more. I’m done.

VERY Unhappy customer... Disappointing 8^(. Payed for app early on, then payed again for new version (6 I think), now latest AUTO update by iOS from v8 to v10 DOES NOT ALLOW data sync to any 3rd party locations. This means I no longer have access to data in the app that I had before the update. And in order to return to the same functionality I must now pay a yearly subscription fee. And worse, if I choose to do this, there in no way to import the data from the past several years. Everything must be added manually. Completely unhappy with this complete disregard to the user experience and their CUSTOMERS. Save your money and grief and go elsewhere.

Does not Work with ToDo for Mac - sync corrupts. A year later and they still haven’t fixed the sync bugs. This product simply CANNOT sync correctly. Been using it since it came out. Pathetic, incompetent “programmers" —— Apparently Appigo has deprecated the desktop Mac client I paid $30 for. It fails to sync with the new version 7. Worse, it corrupted my data, disassociated subtasks from the parents and created duplicate records. Basically destroyed 3 years of records. Contacted help, they are clueless about their own product —— Update: Had to move everything to Dropbox. It worked for a while, but sure enough, give it enough time and this app will fail miserably with syncing. ---- Update 2017: To Do is my favorite, most useful app. It's become absolutely essential over the years. However it has always had an issue with data synchronization, which they have never gotten to work properly, despite multiple attempts from their staff. This is incredibly annoying and frustrating. So if you don't mind having to reset your data on a regular basis, this app is for you

Delayed reaction. I’ve been using Todo for many years and as with any upgrade, it’s hard to get used to. With the most current upgrade, the app is slow to respond to touch and then will open the same task 5 times... a delayed reaction. Also you can just add a task fully with date, time, etc... you have to save it essentially, then open it, then add date/time due. I still like this app, just not as much as I did a year ago and especially last update a week or so ago.

Very useful. Searched through quite a few apps to find one with the GTD functionality I was looking for. I like that you can make multiple lists, easily change a task from one list to another, apply contexts, manually sort the order in which the tasks are displayed, and sync through iCloud with multiple devices. I used todo 6 for a long time and had quite a few lists established. The upgrade to todo 8 worked flawlessly, as everything from the old version synced to the new one through iCloud. I have one suggested improvement; I wish it was able to send a todo item to my iPhone calendar.

Needs an Offline ONLY Version that Doesn’t Force Sync with the Cloud. This was a great app till they forced users to sync their data to the cloud and removed the offline version. There are many people who don’t want to have their data on someone’s server where it can be hacked/stolen and are more than happy to sync and backup with a cable to their desktop. This may seem old school to some but it ultimately is far more secure if you regularly backup your desktop. The interface on ToDo is phenomenal and the best thought out UI and features I’ve found. It seems the reason for requiring syncing to the cloud is driven by a desire to justify collecting a regular fee. Collect a fee annually or for each time IOS/MacOS has a major update. There are many of us who would be more than happy to pay it just don’t force us to put our data in the cloud.

Awesome but unreliable. All the features you need for GTD and a quick list of upcoming due dates (surprisingly hard to find both in the same app!) and without unnecessary clutter -- it's a beautiful and intuitive interface. Unfortunately, it crashes when I delete tasks, uncompletes completed tasks and puts them in overdue, and does other things that make me feel I cannot trust it with management of my daily activities. If they just cleaned up the bugs in this, it would clearly be best in its class. I hope to try it again in a few months and hopefully it will be more stable then.

Lost repeating tasks... HATE subscription!!!. I used this app for years and loved it. I did not sign up for the subscription, but my pre-existing repeating tasks always worked (grandfathered in?). Somehow today one of my repeating tasks just stopped repeating. I tried to recreate it only to learn that *creating* a repeating task is now a subscription feature!!! I have to pay $5.99/mo just to get a basic capability like repeating tasks. I’m so disappointed and angry. Obviously I upgraded and installed this Trojan Horse that I didn’t know about. I’m so angry I will find another app that I don’t have to pay $6/mo. for!! My business has been hit hard by COVID... I’m struggling and I’m not sending you $6/mo just to restore one repeating task that worked fine. Hate these subscriptions!!!!

iOS 11.0.1 issue with task note editing. After upgrading to iPhone iOS 11.0.1, ToDo Version 8.2.8, build a0ea25, has problems with editing task notes. After selecting a task, then selecting note field to edit, normally one edit window opens, but every time now two windows open. One opens, then another opens (slides) right on top of it. If you edit in the second window, changes are not retained when Done is selected. A work around I have found is that if after selecting the note to edit and the two windows open, if you just select Done, then that second window closes and the first window appears and everything you edit in that first window is retained.

Completely sold, this is the best to-do app available. The Appigo ToDo app is essential... Why? Let's go down the list: - It allows you to group sub-tasks under projects - they don't charge for extra features like tagging (others try to charge a yearly subscription for this) - you can fully use the app (and sync with Touch) without the "ToDo Cloud" subscription fee - ToDo Touch with the ToDo app for Mac syncs perfectly (I use Dropbox) - the UI and UX is spot on (the automactic color coding is a treat to work with) - There is a calendar! (not available with many of the ToDo apps I tested) Once you get use to it, there are also some quick controls that blow the others away. For example, tap and hold a task to open a variety of useful actions (i.e. postpone until next week). Looking at these other reviews, I can tell you they are from the competition. Not cool. This app far exceeds expectation and is in use daily, hourly, minutely. Verified Purchaser

Love/Hate back to Love. I was a big fan of this app when it first came out, but then last year I started having syncing problems between my iPhone, iPad, and Mac. I finally gave up and started using Apple's Reminders app, which works flawlessly but is rather limited. I saw that Appigo had updated this app a few months ago and decided to give it another try. The new UI is great, and after several months of use I have had absolutely no syncing problems. I am back to organizing large projects in this app and I am loving it. Great work Appigo, you have won back a customer.

Functionally Great but could use some cosmetic work. I've tried them all and none work more effectively. I have a couple of issues with the visual presentation that I'd like changed. The app requires you use a blurred photo as your background - why no simple color options or a nice minimalist white? Also, why are icons required on all lists? I'd like a option for no icon to see more text. And the list fonts are fixed, so list headers appearing on some colored backgrounds are hard to see with aging eyes ore in high light conditions. A bold font, perhaps, or just a less thready header font would be nice.

Used to Love the app. Very useful in organizing my life. Wish they would bring back the default screen to today's DATE and not just the 'Today' section which includes all the past due items. I know they are past due. I'd rather scroll backwards to see them. Let me see what I actually have planned for today first. Thanks. Also, I can no longer change the Type of task from one to another like I was so easily able to do in Todo 6. What gives? Almost ready to abandon this app, which I loved for so long before the move away from Todo 6.

Your search for the right to-do app has ended. I have used this app on my iPhone for over 3 years now I believe. I also use it on my Mac which syncs perfectly with my phone. It has always been there to keep me on track and has been the difference between real productivity and wasting time. I don't think I could get by without it. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to get more organized about what they need to get done and who want something simple yet very versatile to use.

Fast, easy to use, powerful. I started using this app years ago to manage my absent-minded-professor tendencies. It is easy to use, and I learned the basics quickly. More recently I decided to "up my game" and start using more of the functions. Simply using stars and due dates has allowed me to switch my attention to the "focus" list, and the reduction in my anxiety around my work has been remarkable. I use the developer's own synch system, and it has been solid across my phone, my ipad, and my laptop. Most recently, I enabled the siri integration, and found another boost in my productivity and drop in my stress. In short, I find it to be a great fit.

Worst upgrade ever. I had a perfectly functioning to-do list in the 8.0 version, that connected between phone, tablet, and desktop via iCloud with simple lists of things I needed to do. A few were recurring but most not. I tried the todo cloud and did not like the interface of the pay-for cloud sync. Their answer was that I could keep using the 8.0 version and my things would just keep working. Today they replaced the 8.0 version with "free" 10.0, but I can't sync to my laptop without signing up for a pay-for plan. I can't have recurring items without a pay for plan, and it's interface isn't as useful for me. I don't need sharing or fancy business features. I used to tell everyone to check out this app, but I can no longer recommend it for personal use and ease of connecting a few different devices for a modest app price.

Incredibly helpful. I had the previous iOS 6 version of this app for years but didn't bother learning about all it can do so I was missing out. Now that I've updated to this latest version I took the time to read up - and use - all the features. Wow! I'm now using Todo to help me organize the many concurrent projects that I have going on - a very difficult task without an app like this. The ability to set start dates, due dates, priority, and to adjust these automatically by manually moving projects and tasks up and down in the list is powerful. Sync with iCloud has been flawless and free. It's nice having the paid sync option available for team use but the 3rd party sync does all I need for now. If you need a high-power but easy to use to-do app this is an excellent choice.

Great app and great support. I've used ToDo-like lists daily for years. As platforms changed I changed programs/apps to do this (paper to PC to Palm to Blackberry and now the iPhone). With the iPhone it's taken a long time and several tries to find an app that I was comfortable with. ToDo is that app. It is sophisticated while also being easy to use. It syncs with the online list I use, Toodledo. ToDo is the right app for me for the iPhone. I initially had found a bug that prevented me from effectively using ToDo. (Could not edit dates.) I was happy to find that Appigo support stuck with me for a long time to get the bug identified and fixed. They did that and earned a loyal customer in the process.

It’s time to say goodbye. I’ve been using this program for many years. It has been an excellent tool to help me keep up with the things I have to do on a daily and weekly basis. However when ToDo Premium wanted to to charge me to sync my devices I left ToDo Cloud and used a third-party service to keep my devices in sync. Now that third-party service, Dropbox, no longer supports syncing. Therefore I am forced to find a new work management app. I understand the need to monetize. But the only service that I require is syncing from one device to another. I am happy to pay a one time fee for my work management app. But I won’t pay a monthly fee simply to keep my devices in sync. I hope that in future you find a more realistic way to monetize this service.

Can’t use it offline. Seriously? I have to create an account to use this whether I intend to sync or not? I’ve had Todo 6 on my phone for quite awhile but haven’t used it. I like what it can do, but I’ve been pretty loyal to a different task manager for years. It too is subscription based. That’s not my beef. No, it’s the fact that the revenue goes mainly toward just keeping pace with Apple’s updates and almost nil toward adding additional features. I thought it might be time for a change. But maybe it’s not so bad after all. At least with that one, I can choose whether or not to give the developer access to my private data via their cloud server. No thank you.

Appigo alienated a loyal fan. (1) After updating to OS7, I get a synchronization error when trying to use ToDo. There is no guidance about what it is or how to fix it. ( 2) I purchase the new ToDo 7, thinking that will solve the problem, even though I've never had to pay for an app update before. Same synchronization problem. (3) I search the Appigo website for 20 minutes, and finally find a FAQ page that identifies two possible solutions. One of them works. (4) The ToDo app finally downloads tasks from the Cloud. However, the new ToDo interface is far less functional and intuitive than the old one. For example, there's no quick way to move a task from today to tomorrow. (5) Appigo just turned a loyal fan into an extremely unhappy customer.

Prefer version 6. Pros: it’s more colorful and easy to read. colors let it be easier to know which list you are in. it shades checklist tasks and that makes it easy to pick them out. I decided to use for my iPad, but for my iPhone I use version 6. reason why is the cons. cons: if u search in ver 7 and leave search it forgets what u previously searched. ver 6 keeps name of last search. text expander stops working intermittently with ver 7 for some reason. if you search your task and find it, you cannot change details on that task, like a date due. I have too many tasks to not be able to use search effectively. proud user of 6. when they upgrade 7 features I will re-visit.

The best. I used Todo for years and years. When the developer decided to charge for Todo8 I started looking for an alternative. I tried many other options but in the end I came back to Todo and I'm very happy with it. Everything works perfectly - recurring items, items with times and reminders, and syncing across devices including Apple Watch. The features that allow me to quickly change a due date are unmatched. It's a great app and well worth the price.

Love it but....ticked by business practice. This is my first review ever for an Ap, and I love To Do and have used it for years. I use several of the advanced features such as multiple reminders, tagging, geo tagging, etc. but woke up this morning to a new version that now forces me to pay for features that I already paid for on the previous version and didn’t have to pay additional amounts each month to continue to use. For this reason I think I may switch to one of the thousands of other task trackers. So disappointed.

Latest update is AWFUL. The latest update is AWFUL!!! How does it not default to let me set a due date, a list, a start date???? I enter the task and then hit “done” and have to GO FIND the task to edit important things like what the DUE DATE is!!!! Also, I can’t seem to have a start date without having a due date.... tasks are going to get lost in the heap!!! I’ve been using this app for SEVERAL years and if this is how it’s going to be, I’m going to have to find an alternative! I am a ToDO cloud subscriber as well (for years now), but everything I do with this app is my phone and iPad. The update made this app virtually worthless!!! And I cannot, for the life of me, find any useful help or customer service (if I could, I wouldn’t be writing this review).
