Great app. I like the way the steps app calculates all the walking you do and the calorie calculator is great and it is very accurate. I'm glad I found this app, thank you so much..... I especially love the calorie counter and how it always tells you you did a great job whether you walk 6000 steps or 2000 steps, thank you very much, it looks like that people like it much better than using a FitBit for measuring how many steps you did or miles you walked, etc....... it's really a great app and I appreciate how it works, Thank you again, Allan.......😀😀😀😀😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😻😻😻😻🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️🏃🏿🏃🏿🏃🏿🏃🏿🏃🏿🏃🏿🏃🏿

Great Simple App. This is a great simple app that I use to track my steps and they have a very cheap one time purchase for little benefits like themes. I especially appreciate that the one time purchase is $1.99 and it’s not constantly advertised on their app like other apps. And I hardly ever saw advertisements without the one time purchase. Overall good app. Also I’ve been using this app for a year if this is helpful for anyone! 2023 update. I’ve had this app for years and I’ll always recommend

Golf walking. I set the workout to walk 9 holes of golf 3 days a week. The walking path picture alone is fun to watch. Ok here is hole number 4, etc. with the workout set, you also get the path of the phone being in your cart, if you do not walk. You also get the car drive distance. The workout calories are just for the walk. The walk is usually 3 miles for 2500 yards of golf. The difference is 3 x 1760 = 5280 yds - 2500 = 2780 yards of “other walking”. Bad hits, back and forth putt line ups, reasonable shots that are off the centerline, walks from green to next tee, etc. fun to see the path.

Great app for general info. I’m not an athlete, not a serious exerciser, not a serious dieter. I am, however, interested in staying mobile and in reasonable health. This app is great for encouraging me to move more and helping me see trends of my activity level or lack thereof. I appreciate being able to set my own step goal and having it celebrated rather than accepting the usual 10,000 as a goal and everyday falling short. So, assuming you always have your phone in hand or in pocket and like encouragement to reach a goal that you set, this is a five star app. If you don’t always remember to have phone in hand...the app is still 5 star but you (and I mean me) are more like a three. 🙂

Not happy with this app. I downloaded and could not get the steps or distance to work. So I purchased and still can’t get the step counter to work. I’ve checked all settings etc. there is no customer service, no help chat and no way to load manually your work out. It’s frustrating because it logs my time on workouts but nothing else. Email did not work and the help menu is useless! Very dissatisfied. You also have to put too much personal info private information into this app.

Great but developers please read thanks. All right, so I’m just gonna start this review off by saying that this is a great app. It’s nice and simple, it counts your steps from not only the present day but also shows you your step count from previous days. And this app has been great for me, except when it stopped tracking my steps. I don’t know if it’s just my phone because every other step counter I downloaded after didn’t track my steps either. So I don’t know how and when it just randomly stopped tracking my steps, but I am in desperate need for it to start tracking again. Any tips?

This app doesn’t always calculate all your steps :(. Noticed before, but totally captured the apps insufficiency today. First walk took me 2.63 Miles. Went out twice later (on vacation) and neither walk nor any of my other steps were counted. Bummer! This app is great some days but beyond terrible others! For example, I know for a fact I did 7 flights of stairs today, and nothing showed up!! Anyone have suggestions for a better app?

Perfect. Does not count imaginary "steps" while I'm driving! Very accurate. No delay in seeing steps update like other apps. Seems to take little battery even when running in background. I have it noticed ANY drain. Can also see history by day by swiping up. I didn't buy the calories upgrade. I just want to see my steps and it is there in bold numbers without any delay or hesitation whatsoever. Also runs the clock only while you are walking, unlike other apps, so you can get a true picture of how long you ACTUALLY walked. Also shows your steps goal you set & % of goal completed. Shows distance. Nice surprise was it sent me a notification congratulating me on % of steps previous day even tho I didn't meet my goal. It was encouraging!

Not as accurate as could be at measuring distance travelled. I did 3.1 miles one day, and 3.1 miles a couple days later, both on treadmill. But the app said I completed both workouts in almost the same time, even though on the second run, I was on a higher speed setting on the treadmill for way more time, so I don’t see how the time would be the same as the first run. I sprinted the last .1 miles on the first run as well, but I sprinted the last .2 miles on second run as well, in addition to having already been on a higher speed setting for a longer time period on the second run, so that tells me that the app could improve its ability to accurately measure distance traveled

Nice basic app. This is a nice basic step counting app. I used to have a Fitbit but it never counted my steps when I was walking holding my daughter's hand, pushing a grocery cart or carrying a load of laundry so basically it didn't count the majority of my steps. This is so easy. Just put it in my pocket and go. It seems to be fairly accurate. When I walk on the treadmill it shows the distance within a tenth of a mile compared to the distance of the treadmill. I mostly just need something simple that keeps me motivated to keep moving throughout the day. This does that. I also have never had it crash, freeze, or lag on updating my steps. Great free app!

Serious Mounting App Issues. I am now going through a second wave of failures with this app. Over the course of several days, miles walked suddenly changed to zeros, step counts are now doing same with blocks of days going from 12k to 0-175.. now making the app rather useless... and I paid for that? I checked against a 2nd app... that app accurately storing and maintaining my history. It’s a shame, Steps USED to work flawlessly and I liked the App. what happened? is anyone ever going to get this app to work like it used to?

Love this app. I really love this app. It's perfect for me. I usually have my phone with me all the time and it has made me very aware of my steps. As a person who works from home I was shocked that some days I had less than 1,000 steps. So I now make walks part of my must have daily routine. This app is accurate and shows the same amount of steps as Fitbit app and the iPhone app. The iPhone fitness app is terrible. Fitbit is too intrusive into my life, I didn't want to make friends, etc. I just want my steps counted and to easily see my progress and previous days steps. Love this app and the change it's made in my fitness. Thank you.

Best step app ever. My parents bought me an Apple Watch for my birthday and I asked my mom how does she track her steps and she told me about this app. I had to text her and ask her what does the app look like and she sent me a picture of the app. So I love that even without a phone I can look how many steps I have. I also love that you can set a goal too. One thing that bothers me is the app on my Apple Watch, it only shows 3 numbers (for example if I had 9,000 steps it would only show 9,00) and I was always confused how many steps I have and I was wondering if it could show all 4 numbers.

I love the app but it started to null-function. I have been using this app for 2 years and love it. It tracks steps in a very accurate way and doesn’t require any gadget to work. Just my iPhone. I downloaded about 30 tracking apps to test and decide which to keep and this is the best one. I deleted all the others. However yesterday it simply did not track. “No steps tracked” in Gray square are visible. I have no idea why. I didn’t do anything out of my normal routine. And yes the app didn’t track. It seems to be working now but I’m nervous that it’s gonna happen again when I might need it the most. Such as yesterday.

Love it. There is not one bad thing about this app! It is exactly what I wanted!!! It counts your steps, sets you a goal, tracks your distance and time traveled, and most of it is free!!!! There are some things in the app that you can purchase, but I didn’t and I still really like this app. This is the best steps tracker you will find on your phone. I was looking forever until I found this app then I knew that I didn’t need to look anymore. It is almost like love at first sight, but with an app. LOL!!! If you don’t have this app... Get It!!

Great App. Thank you so much it really help me to improve myself it was great experience more than three years I have only one issueIf you don’t open it to check how many steps I do before 12 AM the missing stubs doesn’t account like example if I open at 11:30 PM and I do 15,000 steps the last 30 minutes doesn’t account the steps I do that’s why all The timeI make sure I open it before 12 AM py minutes 👆🏻Old review it seems did not go through the first time ,,, New one You are the best 🌺🌺

Spotty. A couple of times I found that the app just stopped counting my steps at less than 20% of my total steps during a ‘Workout’. The other thing is, if you forget to hit ‘Finish’, merely pausing it won’t stop the time from accumulating so, even though you finished all of your walk for example in a planned “workout“, it won’t credit you the steps for the day you walked if you forgot to end that particular workout. Then, those step show up on the chart for the next day, but are not counted towards the next day’s steps either. So you don’t get credit for those steps, because they were really part of a work out that you did the day before, but it bled over into the next day because you forgot to turn hit ‘Finish’ that particular work out. Now, there are 2500 steps or so in this particular work out I’m talking about that are showing up for the following day because it was after midnight before I terminated the work out or ‘finished’ the work out, but they’re not showing up on the steps total for the next day, either. It would be very nice if we could go in and manually correct the finished time of a work out.

Love this app!. This app really makes it simple for tracking. The upgraded version (a very low one time fee) has beautiful themes, an easy set up & is perfect for any type of person who has any size goal. I personalized mine by picking the pastel theme and making sure my steps were exactly the number I want them to be everyday. It will be easy to adjust too if and when I change my mind. Love this app & would highly recommend!

I love this app!!!. This game motivates me to go outside and run all day every day. Instead of playing other games, when I’m bored I go outside and start jogging with my best friend who also has the app. Believe or not, even though you don’t actually play any sort of game on this app, it’s actually kind of fun just running around the neighborhood. You also never know if you might meet a friend while running or jogging. I also love the fact that you can change the colors in the background. In addition, you can see the number of miles you’ve ran and how long you’ve been running for. You’re also able to change you’re goal for steps in a day. And you can pay just $1.99 to see the amount of calories you’ve burned for the day. Finally, you can check you’re history to see if the number of steps you’ve taken in a day has gone up compared to other days. I motivate everyone to get this app! I love it and you’ll love it too!

Best Step App ever!!!. Accurate and always ready! Was looking for an app that counted my steps, gave me the distance I walked and tabulated my calories. Here it is!!!!!! I tried two other apps previously and although one said my phone and their app was compatible, whether I jogged, walked or sprinted, it still showed me at 0 steps. The other said it was free and it wasn’t! So, ready to give up I decided to try “Steps” and have absolutely loved it! Before this program, I had no idea how sedentary I had become after a severe break and shredded ligaments in my right ankle in 2017. This app has gotten me up on my feet and done more for me than the PT I had taken, to get my ankle moving freely again. The steps shows progress which in turn helps set goals! Thank you so much for this app!

steps app. I am not good with technology but added the Steps app to help me keep up with how many steps I take a day. I like that it tells me how many miles I have walked, how many calories I have burned in addition to the number of steps I have taken. On my iPhone it also keeps the history of all the data for each day since I began the regime of walking. I admit….in order to get more steps I. I will take steps in place for awhile or run up and down the stairs! One I got some help from a friend on getting everything going right it has been perfect. TRY IT!

Good app, lots of fun. This is a good app. It's well worth the price, and you'll learn a lot about how many miles you walk every day, and how many calories you burn. It's a lot of fun. In my job I walk a lot, and if you walk a lot, believe me, it's worth having. It's not perfect. Sometimes I'm not sure if it's 100% accurate, but it's close. It runs 100% of the time in the background, so it does use extra battery power. It could use an on/off switch, and a couple other things. But it's fun! Check it out!

Edit Bug Resolved: Love the App. I wanted to update this because whatever the issue was, it is now fixed. More importantly was the immediate response I got from the developers and the constant work they are doing to improve the app and keep it up to date. It is my hope that integration with a watch is on the horizon because to often I leave my phone behind to escape the allure of checking in all the time and capturing my steps without the phone would be welcome, like when on the golf course.

Extremely accurate. This app is very precise. I purposely set out to walk 10,925 steps to see if it was accurate. I lost count around 5,000 something because my neighbor called the cops on me, thinking I had gone crazy. Apparently walking in circles in your front yard and counting out loud looks suspicious. Anyways, i ran from the cop, in a diagonal direction because I was dizzy from walking in a circle so many times, and surprisingly got away. I was very impressed at this apps ability to count steps at such a fast rate. I highly recommend it.

Awesome!. This is a really nice app that properly tracks your steps, and lets you know what is healthy based on your age, hight, and weight. You can easily access all the information you need and it’s a well organized app. Even without the payed premium (only a one time purchase of 1.99 by the way) you have a few options for customizing your wallpaper, etc.., With this app you can change the settings easily and you don’t have to worry about “getting lost”. It doesn’t use much battery to keep open while your walking/running so you can open it up and check your steps really fast. Thank you so much for creating this! I highly recommend getting this app if you want to keep track of your health.

Back to accurate after the recent fix--I'll keep this app!!. I'm on my feet & walking around anywhere from 2 to 10 hours a day at work, then at home after that. The app is somewhat accurate, which is nice after all the other ones that recorded only 73 steps per day! Sometimes though, it doesn't keep an accurate account, which is disappointing. It's easier to use then most other apps & doesn't drain my phone battery as fast as others do. So I'll be keeping this one! Thanks for fixing it after the upgrade in November basically stopped it from working. 👍🏻😄

This is a review on the app called “Steps”. This app is incredible! It is an app where yo can see how many flights of stairs and steps you have done, it also tracks any workouts you have done, how many miles you have done. It is an amazing app without and wit a membership! The membership prince is vey cheap for what it comes with! The themes that you can pick as a member and not a member are so cool! As a member I like the Pastel theme! This is one of the greatest apps ever! Even if you don’t need it, it is so cool to look at how many steps you have done! If you are trying to loose weight or become more healthy this app will definitely help you if you want to lose weight and become healthy with running, jogging and walking. In my opinion this app is a 10/10 this is a must in my everyday life!

Updated Review After Apple Watch. EDIT EDIT EDIT. Before the Apple Watch it was great, now that I have the Apple Watch I don’t understand why I have to keep the phone on me to count steps. Kind of the defeats the purpose of having the watch so that you don’t have to carry your phone. It seems that the watch app is only so that you can look at your information. I work for UPS and I'm always curious how many steps a day. This app is far more accurate than the fit bit I 'used' to use.

Simple, pretty, and functional. This app does what it says it does and does it well. Runs smoothly and has a fairly accurate step count. And it doesn't need a newer phone to work! Perhaps the biggest plus for me is that it DOES NOT automatically count calories (although that is n option). It's hard to find a nice pedometer that doesn't force you to count calories and I don't want that. I only have four stars because it does drain my battery a bit faster than I'd like, and because the sunrise animation doesn't run very smoothly - when you update your step count the background snaps to whatever percentage you've reached instead of a smooth animation. But overall, I like it and plan to keep using it!

Review of last update for step program. If you don’t check your final steps before it turns to midnight, your final steps are not reflected even if you achieve 2000 or more steps the last 30 minutes. If you don’t stop to see your steps, it reflects the last time you checked in this new update. I don’t like it at all. I am busy trying to get as many steps as I can before midnight and often miss checking by a few seconds and my score does not reflect any of my last steps. This is very frustrating.

STEPS is a blessing! Helping me to keep healthy!. I started walking due to blood pressure being high and sometimes low...it’s just not good at all! During last few weeks, I have noticed that it’s going up and up, to the point of visiting emergency room! My husband, my dad, and my younger brother and his wife love walking...their advice and their example have motivated me to start walking daily and make it part of my life :). It’s also what my doctor has advised for a long while now! Therefore, I searched for an easy to use, free App that has the features I need: steps counting, miles, steps climbing, running time, maps showing route, and much more...and I found STEPS after I had tried two other Apps, STEPS is the best!! Thank you so much! Good health to all and Peace!🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️

A good app just got better. This was an excellent app until now for keeping track of how many steps one takes per day. They just added on a new feature called workout which allows one to plan a specific walk by time, distance, or steps. This feature is linked to a map app which is nice. However if one’s phone is having battery issues I would recommend turning off the link to the map as the app consumes more battery when the map is on.

Easy to use, does just what I need. Just what I was looking for: an app that effortlessly and accurately tracks my steps and syncs with MyFitnessPal, and from my experience with other apps, this one is the most accurate I've used. Like the simplicity of the screen, which is easy to read when wanting to take a peek at my progress. The only downside, but not a fault of the app, is that I must have my phone with me at all times to get a true daily total..but getting/having a smart watch would take care of this.

Has helped me get more steps in!!. I love this app, it has helped me with my fitness journey. I wanted to just track my daily home activity accurately and it does that! Also it gives you calories burned and tells you your progress through out the day! It has a little widget that you can quickly view on your iPhone to see the progress. It has made my journey fun one of the first things I look at in my phone is steps taken! Love love love this app. I purchased because it was cheap and wanted to support the creators for such a lovely app.

Simple & functional. This app does just what it is supposed to do! The app is super clean and simple, very user friendly. No extra baloney. The steps counted are somewhat accurate, it does not count when I drive but sometimes if I move my phone across the table it will count 4 steps or so. I got the calorie counter upgrade but it's really not helpful at all. The downfall for me is how much it drains my battery when running in the background and that you have to walk your phone everywhere to really know how many steps you've taken. I will get a smart watch to sync with the app to make taking it with me easier!

Workout Mode leaves something to be desired.. I no longer use workout mode for this app. The problem with it is that if you’re walking and trying to track your steps, you have best not use another app, or even answer the phone, because if you do, you’ll return to a blank screen when you reopen Steps, and have no way to track your steps. The only way you’ll find out your step count is when you complete your workout and turn off workout mode. So, if your goal step count was higher, you’ll have to restart workout mode, and add the steps from this second workout to your first. And hope that no one calls.

Never has let me down!. I don’t often write reviews but I feel the need to for this app. I’ve been using this app for at least a few years now. It has never let me down. Not only is it easy to use, it’s reliable, it’s accurate, and it also works on my Apple Watch… but the fact that the developers haven’t gone money hungry and are very receptive make it a thousand times better. A few years ago, I had a problem with the steps not refreshing to show up on my Apple Watch in real time. It was fixed almost immediately and I’ve never had a problem since. Probably one of the most used apps on my watch and is always on the face of it! Always perfectly syncs to iPhone. Probably one of the few apps that I’ve NEVER had a problem with. Good job Devs!

Takes away steps. I used to really enjoy using this app but now more and more it just has become super frustrating, I will look at my steps before I go on a walk even screenshot where I was before my walk than after I finish my walk I will take another screenshot to know how many steps I did just to later go into the App and SS soon as the steps first load it’s accurate but than right in front of me it will just randomly take away and minus large part, about to get rid of the app entirely and find a more efficient one that doesn’t do this glitch as it’s so discouraging and truly upsetting that I have been working really hard to achieve. hopefully they take the time to resolve this issue/glitch.

Very nice reliable easy to use APP. I really like this app. Ive tried some of the other step trackers and had a lot of trouble syncing between the apple watch, the iphone and apple health. THIS APP HAS BEEN VERY SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE AND IT RELIABLY SYNCS THE DATA. Ive reached out to the developer who BTW is very responsive. I suggested a minor improvement to the apple watch app to have a favorite default setting for steps goal and to have control of the workout mapping default setting. Hoping this gets added on the watch app someday, but even without that extra convenience, its a GREAT APP!

Major issues. I’ve had this steps app a while and I keep giving it chances to improve but it keeps failing. It makes it hard trying to keep track of my daily, weekly, monthly goals etc when it will randomly just delete steps for no reason after I walk. The worst is after months of keeping track it will just lose ALL my history and start over on a random week. It’s done that several times but I have walked every day for the last 6 months and was excited to document my 2 million plus steps. When I opened it up today everything but the last week was gone! I’m done with this app and will be trying something else.

Works great!. It’s perfect and easy to use. Gives you everything you want to know without having to hunt threw your phone to find each thing. Steps, miles and how long in mins/hours it took to reach those steps if you were walking straight threw. You can adjust your goal steps at anytime and compare your day to day progress. As a mom of 5 it’s nice to have the app to look at real fast and be able to get back to what I’m doing quickly. I have the basic version and have not upgraded it. The basic works just fine for me and what i need.

Works ok. Pros: it's a free ap that works with my 5c unlike most step trackers and doesn't require an Apple Watch or Fitbit. The layout is simple and user friendly. Cons: battery life is a problem but I don't think that can be helped. I charge my phone all night, on my commutes, and sometimes at work. Biggest con is that it picks up a lot of extra steps when you are driving. It knows if you are going fast you aren't walking but I get several hundred extra steps driving through parking lots, in heavy traffic, etc. A solution would be for the developers to make the ap automatically stop counting whenever the phone is plugged in to a power source.

STEPS needs a little tweak. This is a fine app, so far. I’ve used it for three weeks and find it meet all, but one of my needs it would rate five stars if there was a way to manually, enter a number of steps taken when you go off walking and you’re not carrying the phone. For an accurate count of your daily steps, you need the phone to be surgically attached to your body. Example: today I walked from the kitchen through the sunroom and out to sit on the patio. It was then that I discovered, I did not have my phone with me. So I retraced my path, counting the steps, retrieved my phone only to find that I could not adjust, the number officially shown. So my count will be off today. Other than that missing component, this is a fine app.

Great improvements and one idea. Love the recent upgrades! It was always such a pain to find one’s history, and now they’ve added an easy-to-find button. Also, there was no easy way to look at one’s overall activity. Now they’ve added a color-coded calendar that allows one to see activity at a glance. One nice feature to add would be a way to manually add steps, for when one is not carrying one’s phone, like going up and down stairs in the house, doing chores, etc.

Accurate, but.... ... sometimes you have to actually look at the history and look over each hour, because the over all count comes out wrong. The count will claim that you haven’t made your goal, but if you click on your last hour it will tell you that you made your percentage goal. I would gave given it a four otherwise, as I feel the calorie counting option should be included instead of being charged basically $2 to add it. All this being said with some extra work you can actually count your steps which is nice to not have to buy a pedometer. Changed the rating to a 2, because they still haven’t fixed these issues and I’ve had this for at least 60 days at this point.

Finally a “STEP APP” that is full featured and accurate. Due to my physical injury and ongoing disability, walking is part of my daily routine/recovery effort. I have tried multiple step apps and devices but never found one that provided the information, detail and accuracy that this app provides. The use of GPS to track, measure and display my actual route is a key benefit of this app. Threw away all my external step devices and deleted all my previous step apps. This is the one for me. Thanks !

Thanks for fixing the problem. I noticed on December 1 that the app was working correctly once again. Thanks for fixing whatever was wrong with it. I now can feel much better about my workouts and walks with my dog, knowing that all of my steps are being recognized. I liked this app before the problem in November and didn't give up hope that it could be fixed it gives me a real sense of accomplishment at the end of the day that I have usually exceeded my goal of 10,000 steps.

Completely useless.. I don’t even know what to say. Let’s start with that this is such a useless app. I moved not even a foot to get my charger and it recorded nineteen steps. It said that I had walked 9,451 steps when in reality I had just got the app and haven’t walked any steps yet. I think that this is completely useless and whoever actually has this app to keep is wasting their time. I’m so tired of seeing these stupid ads for this stupid app, and when I finally got the app it disappointed me. I’m just completely shocked, upset, disgusted, and disappointed. Whoever came up with this app obviously didn’t know what they were doing. Don’t get this app, you’re just wasting your time. There are better apps out there that are actually accurate. This is a complete piece of trash.

Love this app. App is simple, provides the basics. Mapping your walks is my favorite aspect of the app. Gives you distance with a view of your walk. Also tracks steps, time and calories burned for each workout. The app also tracks everything for your day separate from your workouts. small upgrade $ is needed to unlock a few features. Minimal cost. Well worth it. App is pretty bland and could use a few more ways to customize the look. Very tiny complaint

Way better than the last app I used. I love that there are no annoying ads and it lets you know how many flights you have walked. As a surveyor who works outside this helps a lot for me to realize how much I have walked that day and how much incline I have walked to let me know how much extra working out I have to do on my cardio when I get home. It does exactly what it is supposed to… And count your steps and also does a little bit more. Good stuff!

Take the steps. Download this app. Steps is simple to use and does exactly what it says accurately, so far as I can see. I'm happy to recommend it or anyone!

Steps.. Really appreciate having this ap. It is great to track steps and be able to look up history to see patterns of achievement.

Just a quick review. I would just like you to still say what I did on like yesterday for example so it still shows my steps for that day even though I didn’t go on the app on that day if you know what I mean 👍👍👍

Great App but not currently working.. This is a great simple app that we use all the time. Since IOS 12 was downloaded it has completely stopped working. Just shows 0 steps for each day on both of our iPhones.

Ok except for starting a bike ride. Works fine with the exception of days when I ride a bike as it adds on a section of my bike ride to steps. This is most likely based on the speed when I'm riding slowly. This is an annoying part of an otherwise simple and easy app.

Love this app. Was quite happy with the inbuilt health app on iPhone 6 for counting steps and distance walked - UNTIL Apple did an software upgrade a few weeks ago and their app suffered badly. So hunted around and read reviews on Steps app and decided to try it. I haven't been disappointed and in fact have recommended to all my friends with iPhones - who also thought that the Apple software upgrade did not do their health app any favors. This app is just so much better and I love it. In fact I have to stop myself clicking on the icon all the time to see how far I've walked!!

Synch problem watch. The steps app on my iPhone 7 Plus used to synch perfectly with my Apple Watch series 2. Then it stopped synching and also did not count steps on phone. Deleted app and re installed it, paid to eliminate ads. Worked for a while, now stopped again. What’s going on?

Good BUT!. Nice App at first glance, BUT: Please don't devalue the integrity of the App and treat me like a fool by sending me a daily notification to inform me I had walked 775 steps for the day and tell me that it was: "Good work!". Are you kidding? 775 steps for the day is absolutely lousy. I am an able bodied person, I walk 775 steps for the whole day and the App notifies me that I gave done "Good work". Ten thousand (10,000) steps per day is the medically recommended minimum number of steps a person needs to do to have a positive impact on weight loss and health. Come on Steps get real, I am not a Primary School student where students receive false praise for anything and everything they do.

Best app. Matiu it's a really awesome app to use its court your steps and tell you how many steps you have done in that day and it also give you yesterday or the day before on how many steps you have done. I like it

Can we reduce sensitivity?. Great app, cute design, really love it especially how it runs in the background without needing data on! However noticed that if I tap my phone on a surface (or for instance drive down my farm's bumpy driveway) it clocks up my steps? Not complaining, just feel like I'm cheating a bit 😂 is there any way we can reduce the sensitivity of the tracker so that it responds to less bumps that aren't steps?? Great app though, and even if this doesn't happen I'm definitely still going to use it haha

Not bad. Easy to use app. Bit annoying that you have to pay for calorie counter but hey I suppose money must come from somewhere. Didn't like that it counts shakes as steps as it seems a bit inaccurate to me but overall not bad

Pretty good. This is a pretty good app but something I would like to see in the future is the ability to have your phone turned off and still have your activity tracked because a lot of battery is wasted when you have to keep your phone turned on.

Simple and good. This is like apps should be : simple and reliable. It only counts steps (no other forms of exercise) but does it accurately & automatically. The display is clear and the daily reminder is perfect. Sure it could do more things, but its simplicity is the beauty of it all. Just a pity that it eats up all my battery power.

Great tool for motivation. Since down loading this app I look forward to see my performance on daily basis , it regulates my exercise and motivates me to do more steps. It is great tool to have on your phone. Cheers M

Excellent!. I'm doing a lot of walking to train for an 800km trek next year and find Steps an excellent and accurate tool to measure my progress. I've often compared distance markings and stated map distances to confirm the accuracy of this app.

Inaccurate movement count. I was looking back through the days of walking & noticed each time I did that the amount of steps increased. Surely app designer is smart enough to make sure the counting of steps only happens with body movement ???

Very good app. Agree with other comments Its a simple but great app Low battery use and very accurate It amazing to know how many steps we do in a day

Peter. This is the best and simplest exercise app on the App Store - I have used it for years and have never found a better replacement - it motivates me to keep exercising on a daily basis - highly recommend

Accurate! … but plain. Really good, accurate, easy to use app. Love the simple layout but it could really be if it from some more colour themes and perhaps the ability to change fonts.

It’s really good!. I only got this yesterday but it is amazing! It tells u how many steps u have done and how long u have walked for and how many calories u have burned! I would really recommend this app!

Geofro. I like this App as it's simple, accurate and very user friendly to use. I like to keep to goals and this works so well. Well done! It helps me keep motivated.

Amazing!. I enjoy this app more than I thought I would! It's so useful at keeping me motivated to be more active and go for walks instead of sitting in front of my computer! I appreciate how simple and easy to navigate the app is. Thank u!

Needs adjustments but otherwise an excellent app. The app itself is good but if I wanted to have to carry my iPhone around when walking I wouldn’t have paid extra for the 4 g enabled Apple Watch. Add the ability to use the app without needing to carry your phone and it would be a 4-5 Star app for me

Steps. I find this app very useful and have been using it for several years. It encourages me to keep to my walking goals!

Very good. It’s mostly an excellent app except the widget on the iPhone seldom shows the right number of steps. I have to go into the app to get the updated number of steps then when I close it, it only then shows the correct amount… for a while. I’ll check again later and the number is wrong again. It sort of makes the widget seem pointless. The widget on the watch seems to be a bit better. The app itself otherwise works really well and looks really good. Easy to use UI.

Really simple, really accurate.. I tried this against another really popular app, which had more features, but this app beat it hands down for accuracy.

Fantastic app. Love how easy it is to use!! Don't have to do anything other than keep my phone on me!! Makes it so much easier to move more and I'm itching to get 10,000 steps a day which is really easy when you walk to the shop or the library or the playground or... you get my drift ;)

It’s good. It’s a good app but I wish it had more things to do. I think that you shouldn’t have to pay for the “track calories” option and it would be cool to be able to change the background color but apart from that it does what it says it does.

Easy as. Love it...so easy..put in your pocket n go...that's it...gives u record of each day's steps...chews your battery tho...but other than that...can't fault it...I will have forever!!!!

Is it accurate?. Not sure how accurate this app is as I can sit in a car driving and watch the step count climb. Weekdays I normally smash the 10k step goal while on weekends when I drive less and walk more I struggle to get 4K. This however is the third app I've tried and they all do the same thing so maybe I'm just not doing it right.

Distance. We both walk together and we both have a different Km and time today we walked for 2hr but it says 4.5hrs

On track with steps. My working life is intermittent at the moment and so the amount of walking has become more important as an exercise for my health and to know how far I have walked gives me a good guide to how much extra I need to do for my health conditioning every day just put in my pocket and off I go very easy and great to see at night how many I have chewed through the day

Great app and does the job even in the background. Great app and does the job even whilst working in the background. The reminders are good prompts. The customer experience is easy to use and easy to understand

‘No steps tracked’. I’ve been using this app for quite a while and really like it, but recently there has been a lot of days where the app shows me ‘no steps tracked’. This used to only happen for just one day so it was ok but now I’ve realised that this app has failed to track any steps from ‘29 April to 2 June’, one whole month not tracked. I hope that this issue can be fixed soon.

Simple and cheaper than a Fitbit!. This is a great app for anyone who can’t quite bring themselves to spend money on a Fitbit or Garmin. I’m about to buy the full version- I just hope it allows you to measure in kilojoules not just calories! The only drawback is that it may not be accurate due to the fact that we don’t always carry our phones with us!

Pleasantly surprised.. I have tried other apps for calorie and step counting but they weren't very good. I thought I'd give this app a go and have been pleasantly surprised how good it is. I have told many friends about it.

Excellent app for step counting. I have tried several step counting apps - none of which worked as well! This one simply counts steps and does it reliably with little battery drain and without annoying pop-ups! Exactly what I want! Hurrah

Perfect. This app is so simple to use and exactly what I need for my exercise program. I get follow up notifications the following day and full history. Excellent app.

Keeps freezing. Need the glitches fixed, this app often stops working which is really annoying when you are setting goals and recording steps. I know for a fact that it stops recording steps every couple of days because I still have an old app on my phone which doesn’t miss the steps. Yesterday this ap said I had only done 1699 steps, I knew that was totally incorrect so I checked my old ap and it said said 4274. Very annoying!!

It’s good. This app is useful; it shows how many steps you’ve walked, how many kilometres you’ve traveled, travel time, calories (if you pay) etc. I personally think the design could be improved but it does what it should. So far I have no bugs with this.

Apple Watch. Hi I mainly got this app for my Apple Watch whenever I put it as an icon like on iPhone it shows the exact same as battery and I can’t tell if my battery is good or bad. I’m order of this I would like to get an update soon to fix this issue. Thanks

Brilliant. You don't really know how little you move or walk until you see it on this brilliant app and it feels like a kick up the backside I'm really motivated now thank you

Brilliant to challenge yourself !. This app is a fab way to set a goal and then work towards it. You get to track what percentage of your target you’ve hit so you can make sure the get there. It’s really made a difference to my steps and fitness.

Great app. I work in an active job role. Really interesting to see how many steps I do on average. Nice theme colours and some cool extra functions if you’re willing to pay $2.99

Clever and useful. Use it all the time whether it’s just a few steps to the supermarket or a long walk. It’s a great monitor and better than my Fitbit

Watch your step. Love this app. Quietly works away in the background. Non intrusive and reliable. Would love if there was a bit more of a fanfare when you reach your goal rather than the standard 'well done'. Love knowing how far I've travelled and how long it took as well. Highly recommend this app.

Brilliant. I hate wearing anything on my wrists so an Apple Watch was never gonna happen. This app is perfect just chuck the phone in my pocket and I am off. Also very accurate counter.

Awesome app. It's very good app. I love how it tracks your kilometres and calories however I've noticed lately that the calorie count drops every time I turn my internet off or when I walk the same distance everyday and the calories are different. Other then that awesome app

Easy and accurate. I have been using this for a week. My husband uses a different step counter and has given up because it is so inaccurate. This app though is really good. Really accurate and easy to use. I was going to get a Fitbit but I won't now.

Great simple app. Reliable, easy to use app that tells me all I want to know, no complicated exercise things crowding up the screen, the only down side I have noticed is in the morning you have to go into the app to start it working otherwise the count stays on zero, once you've done this once though it works silently in the background all day.

Rating. The workout option doesn’t work. The only thing displayed is the time.

Not in sync,. I have I watch 9 connected to iPhone 14 Pro. Never the correct number. Can be out by 5000 to 10,000 steps Have used this app from iwatch 3, 5 and now iwatch 9 Used to love this app but are unable to use anymore due to not being reliable. Maybe a software issue with the third party

Favourite pedometer app!. Paid extra to have calories tracked - like how it calculates it more accurately based on height and weight. The colors are pretty too.

Great tool for weight loss and progress tracker. Love it ! Simple , effective !

Steps. Great little app. Been using it for about 5 months now. Seems accurate.

Was but not now. Was working great but now stuck on Thursday and my steps all changed compared to my Apple Watch and what I was seeing week behind

Lux Walker. Simple App which is easy to use and does what I expected.

Easier step tracker. Love it. Easy to use!

Good!. Tracks my every step which is what I want. It creates a pace for you when running too.

Doesnt work. Delete it

Amazing app!. Thankful for this. We’ve been using for our daily walks and helps us know our daily goals and achievements. It creates excitement 😊❤️

Changing amount of steps. I can’t find out how to change my goal of steps?

Awesome. Been using this for months , works Great !!

Good app. It works when it wants to, lately it only shows how many steps i take no time it took to walk, no calories i burned, works great for a few days then stops again, otherwise I would have given it a 5star and the distance is accurate for a few days then its totally wrong.

Works well. I find it fairly accurate and does not falter during weather change. Worth getting

Simple and great! Highly recommend. Works amazing for typical daily use. I work in a hospital and always running around. It’s great how it can track without having to always open and leave an app running. The step counting is also quite accurate. After having it for a year I ended up buying the one time upgrade and it’s awesome! I highly recommend doing that if you want to also use it for hiking. The only down fall is the option during a “work out” is to change it to running as the calorie counter won’t compensate the difference. It’s also so simple to use. I love the easy way to check and see a calendar with all my steps history and even more so the trail mapping. For hiking new trails and unfamiliar areas it work really well at mapping.

Limit on Weight in pounds etc. Like this but I feel the options should be in pounds and the height should be in feet.

Love the hourly data presentation and historical data access. Am a dialysis patient and I track my daily steps; not as a way to workout, motivate myself, achieve goals or compete with others - to track my daily steps and see how my physical ability manifests as a function of how well my treatment is functioning pre/post treatment and as a function of Erythropoetin (Hemeglobim stimulating hormone) injections. Also love being able to go back in time and access any day with an hourly breakdown of step counts. Having an Apple Watch complication that updates independently of the iPhone is a metric I use on a daily basis. Love the app and would pay for the following feature. **Being able to select 2 dates from the historical data and having the hourly steps/distance overlaid + slightly offset from each other with different distinguishing colours** I could then take multiple sets of such data and perform statistical analysis and draw greater inference into my health care. As you can tell, I love this program. Please never make it subscription. But yeah, I would pay for the update I’ve described. It’s a steal at the low price of $2.99 Cdn Tom

Amazing And healthy Application. What a nice application

Poor, inaccurate results from this app. I have noticed a very big discrepancy in this steps app every day that I walk. I do a 5 km walk that I have clocked with my car for accuracy. This app always tells me I have done much less than 5 km after that same walk. Every day the app gives me a different total accumulated km and steps, but I walk the same route every time. So today it said I walked 3.4 km. But I did 5. I am not using this app any more.

Best app ever! Keeps track of every step you make.. I absolutely love this app! Thanks for the FREE app.

Feature not available. Does not allow Me to purchase calorie feature

Steps. I love checking to see how many steps that I did for the day.

Mr. Very good

Does not work in cooler weather. Downloaded this app and really liked it at first, however now that the temperature has cooled down it does not work at all. I take my dog for a walk for an hour+ and it tracked 2 steps.....useless. Deleting.

Love it. It’s so much is very nice thank you :-)

Terrible app. Was free for the longest time now it says I need to upgrade?! I’d give less then one star if I could.

Handy tool. Excellent tool to keep track and motivate 👍

App doesn’t record steps accurately. No

Stopped. My app stopped working

Like it. Works well on my Apple Watch model A2770

Like it. A part of my daily app routine

Steps. This is helping me.

Ripped off. So far I think you have ripped me off!

Upgraded and my steps still aren’t recording. Spent the money to keep the app recording and tracking my steps. Hasn’t worked yet even though the app says thank you for the purchase, emailed support to no avail. If i was able to give 0 stars I would because this doesn’t work at all.

Steps not counting. I’m on a treadmill with my phone on the treadmill tray, yet it’s not working. Think the google ad may be impeding on its functionality

Hate new format!. Much harder to get overview of history with new circles rather than simple numbers. Maybe provide a “classic” mode for users who prefer digits to circles? Also, calorie feature has gone completely screwy since change. Numbers are totally random now, going higher and lower all day, eg. 373 about two hours ago, but now shows 50. Too weird!

Accurate and awesome. A great app and easy to use

Not working. This app no longer indicates the number of steps I have walked! I don’t know how to fix it

Works great. Very encouraging tool to get you to move more.

Great app to keep track of my steps. Easy to use and understand.

Great App. The most accurate and easy to use app I have tried for logging steps and workouts.

Steps.. Doesn’t record the steps. Waist of money.

Better free. There are better free apps out there. This one doesn’t work unless you buy the upgrade. I hate apps that say free to download but pay to use the download

Working out. Download this app and started using it. I walk seven or eight miles a day now. Like this app it trackes you and counts your steps. Very nice app for free. Thanks so much for letting us use your app.

Steps. Not being recorded?

Steps. Love to know how many steps I walk in a day. Right now having problems with my right foot and can only walk a bit at a time but as long as I don’t have too much pain will do what I can. Thank you!

Great App better than Nike. Great App better than Nike

Steps. This app doesn’t work with an iPhone XS Max.

Love it. Great way to track without all the extra add ons you don’t need when you’re just trying to reach a daily step goal. Good on Apple Watch too.

Excellent!. If you're not sure that you want to go to the expense of a fit bit try this first. Just stick it in your pocket and you'll see how many steps you've taken that day and how many miles and how many calories. The only problem is that my iPhone is not always in my pocket nor can it be. Note that it will drain your battery more quickly since it needs to work in the background too. Otherwise? Great product!

Great app. This is my first step tracker. I normally don’t use these but I was recommended to it so I though I would give it a try. It’s a wonderful app. I have used it everyday since I got it and I always check it and it help me keep up on how much exercise I have been doing. There is only one complaint. I wish it would update and tell you the exact steps without having to get off the app and back on. Other than that it’s a great app. I love it soooo much.

Best app to keep track of my steps. I think this app is the best app that is out there to keep track of your steps & how much you walk on a daily basis! If you don’t have this app yet you should definitely download & at least try it! If you don’t like it then delete it but I guarantee you will love this app once you try it & will want to keep it forever!!

So far it’s great!. So far this app is perfect for what I need. I had another app but realized there were no widgets. I love the widgets you all have and the beautiful simple design that gives just the basics! I got a great reminder this am. Feedback: Can you only change steps goal in increments of 500? I’m recovering from chronic fatigue so I need to increase very slowly!!

Thanks !

Huge disappointment!!!. Thought is was fab when I downloaded. Actually forwarded to a few friends. By noon it had shut down my apple watch. I restarted that night. Woke up out it back on it logged 12 steps and then froze in both watch and iPhone. I deleted and reloaded app. First time opening it forced closed. Second time I added all info again, and it's still frozen on 12 steps. Been up with a busy household since 530am. Trust, me. I've hustled more than 12 steps. 🙄. Great concept but it doesn't work and I'm pretty bummed how it affected the watch use on a busy day. It was the only change and I have had zero issues in the 10 months I e had the watch.

Sometimes indicates “no steps tracked”. Steps sometimes indicates “no steps tracked” for a day although there WAS a count. For example, the Steps app counted >5000 steps yesterday (I confirmed the count with iPhone health activity app), but that count then went away. Now, when I look at yesterday on Steps, no steps are tracked. :( I like other things about the app: nice colors, big font, motivates me to exercise... but it’s a bummer when the steps record turns into “no steps tracked”

Great, BUT.. Loved being able to use this to see my steps count on an apple watch face created to use the Steps complication. However, last few days, perhaps due to either a watch update or the latest iphone security update, steps are not staying up to date on this watch face using the complication. If you select the Steps app, they are up to date and upon returning to the watch face, it then updates. Hope you can fix this.

TRYING TO GET MOVING. i just started using STEPS APP. i certainly don't expect medical level perfection, but as someone with multiple physical issues, with the need to get moving, it definitely does the trick. just take numbers with a grain of salt. if you are looking for a TREND, this is a great app. would be nice if there were a space for a couple comments where you could record any pertinent info, i.e., "this is where my back began to hurt", etc

Love This App!. This is the best and easiest step counter app I’ve tried. This app counts my steps, and the miles I’ve walked, whether I’m using it or not. It even keeps track of my steps when my phone is not in use. I never have to worry about it deviating from my settings or the goals I’ve listed (10,000 steps per day). I do not use the included free workout portion of the app as I prefer walking.

Love it but….. I love the app. The only thing that messes me up is that I’m a night owl. I work and do everything at night. And it resets at midnight. I’m just getting started. I wish they added a feature to set what time to start the day and end it. So I know how many steps I do at work throughout the night. Even if it’s in the paid part of the app. But it doesn’t offer it. Which is a bummer for me. Otherwise good app

disappointed. I purchased this app because I’m having to walk to get better from hip surgeries I thought it would be a good way to count my steps but also to count how many times I went around the driveway. I thought it said it would work with Apple Watch but that does not work or show the distance or anything I’ve done on the Apple Watch and the app as far as I’m concerned asked if I wanted to purchase the pro app and I spent $1.99 and I don’t see anything great about this right now I feel that this is not a great application and there’s probably better ones out on the market. No customer service responded to my questions.

Weird App. This app started out well. I especially liked the ease of pulling up the activity tracker, which I enjoy still. However, the app has gotten weird. It refuses to maintain my goal throughout the app even though I correct it daily. It doesn’t zero out at midnight and start a new count. Instead, I have to remind it to renew. Then it shows 0% and only catches up after I check a sister app that shows the correct count for the day. I could go on, but instead I’m deleting this app and getting a new one.

I loved this app at first. When I first got this app it was because I enjoyed being active and running. I loved the app and I even bought the premium features. The premium features if anyone didn’t know was a one time purchase, which of course means I should’ve payed once and had kept it. After a while of not using the app in the winter I decided to go for a run and when I checked the extra things were gone on the app. Please fix this problem and thanks for this great functioning app (not sarcasm, it actually functions good)

Simple and does the job. Steps won out when I compared 3 highly rated step counters on my iPhone 5c (no M7 chip) during a long day of walking outside. It was almost as accurate as the best app (within 10-20%, assuming the highest step # was most accurate), but had far lower battery use. It doesn't have excessive ads either. Battery saving mode is a nice option to further reduce the drain, if you aren't as interested in tracking indoor steps.

It Counts Steps. Simple, free, basic, reliable on 6s. Easy to use - as long as your phone is in your pocket so it rocks back and forth when you walk. It counts your steps and calculates an estimate of mileage based on your height, and thus proportionally your stride length. Like most pedometers it can be fooled by activities that resemble walking or running, but are not. Digging with a shovel, for example. If you want actual distance traveled, use a GPS based app.

The best app ever. After my stupid iCloud backup somehow became corrupted and completely screwed up my apple health app from working at all not tracking any of my steps on my iPhone 6S Plus (hence now the problem is fixed) I resorted to Steps app. 100% accurate all the time and love that it tracks calories burned based on your height weight and sex input data. I strongly suggest laying the extra $1.99 and get the calories burned upgraded feature.

One bug needs to be fixed. I love my Steps app, but about half the time when I open it (after having walked at least 1/2 hr), it still shows 0 steps. Sometimes if I close the app, open something else on my phone, and then go back to it, it shows my steps. But not always! Very frustrating. Later in the day, it will “catch up” but that’s not very helpful in the moment when I’m trying to see how many more steps I need.

Updating to watch face is laggy and inaccurate. I’m giving this app 3 stars because the whole purpose is to be able to glance at my Apple Watch and see how many steps I’ve taken and how far I am from my goal. That doesn’t happen consistently. The watch face shows the percentage to 10,000 steps frequently when that is not my goal yet. I have to go into the app and back to the watch face several times to get it to update. I’m going to try a different app.

Good app to track steps. I just needed an app that will track my steps. I’ve used a few others but this is the simplest. It tracks steps and will give you distance. If you want to know calories burned you need to pay. I was a little creeped out that it somehow told me the steps I took two days before I downloaded the app. I was looking through the steps we did the day before when I noticed that.

Love this app - bug fix needed. Really love this app and the nice clean UI design. One problem though, is that the widgets never update. They are several thousand steps behind and even after I open the app the widgets still don’t update. This is for the widgets on the iPhone and Apple Watch. The Apple Watch and iPhone also show very different stuff counts, which should not happen if I’ve been wearing my watch all day. I mix.

Pretty good, needs more personality. The app works relatively well (for someone mostly curious about steps/day, not trying to hardcore track like a FitBit might). The interface is perfect - simple, straightforward, and minimalistic. However, the massaging is lacking any character. Every day it says "Yesterday you took xxxx steps. Good work!", even if it was like 2,000 steps. I'd like it to say more, acknowledge that 2,000 steps is 8,000 less than my goal, challenge you to improve. Maybe even say things in the middle of the day, like "You've only achieved 20% of your goal - get to steppin'!"

Useful but not perfect. I liked this app at first because it was the only app I could find that actually would work. When I started using it it didn't seem like It had counted to many steps. I decided to do a test. I shook my phone 10 times and as I thought it only counted 6. I also did another test and I went out of the app and shook the phone. I went back in and it had counted steps. Then I did it again but that time I swiped up the tab. That time it did not count steps so now I always keep that tab open and I suggest you do the same.

Good Simple App. Solid app for an iPhone 4 user. It froze the first time I tried to use it with my run app and Pandora at the same time (why you might ask...I'm in a step challenge and my run app wouldn't count my steps. I run with Pandora because I don't like the music feature on my run app!). Anyway I reloaded it and it's been working fine ever since. No freezing...but I don't use it with Pandora. Turns out it works fine with my run app, Runkeeper).

Works for me. I am not a big exercising person. I am 80 years old and I like to walk because it is very very good for you and this is a really neat app. It will show me my path steps time miles flights of stairs. I like the app is very helpful, I would recommend it actually I did to some friends that I have talked into walking because we all need exercise especially when we get older get this app it’ll help

Everything you need, no subscriptions!. I love developers who still offer a one-time, reasonable payment vs subscription. Add to it that this app has everything you need in a pedometer (ie the app you’d get anyway), and this is a must have! The three main features are: 1. Live steps count with corresponding data 2. History of steps from past dates 3. Walking workouts: used to start, track, and manage walks as workouts The app imports from Apple Health so you’ll get your full history, not just the data from when you started with the app. This app is accurate, works great with Apple Watch, and is light on the wallet. I can’t think of a reason not to get this app. If you walk, you will find it useful. 5/5 must have app!

Steps and iOS 14. Up until iOS 14, I would willingly have given "Steps" 5 Stars. I've been using it for a couple of years and come to rely on it as I recover from heart failure two years ago. Since installing iOS 14 however, it is being quirky in sharing Information from my Apple series 6 Watch and my iPhone XR: History doesn’t update as it used to and it’s a common occurrence to have different readings on the watch versus the phone – – consequently, I don’t know which to trust. I’m hoping either the Steps developer or Apple fixes this problem as I’d like to stay with Steps

5 stars if I didn't have an Apple Watch. This is a great app if you always carry your phone... I wanted to give 2.5 Stars because it is half developed... I wish I had tried it before paying the $1.99 for the calorie counter... The app would be perfect if it used the technology in the watch instead of the watch just being a display... That's my only complaint... When the watch inputs to the app I will definitely drop a five star rating... But if you always have your phone and are looking for a pedometer get this app...

Did I walk or didn’t I ????. I think I could love this app even more if it recorded everyday! I carry my phone in my back pocket (right side)each day... this doesn’t vary at all! But every week there will be days that it doesn’t record my steps. What’s up with that? It will say “No history recorded today” and there will be a gap between the days! Ugh😫. I really like this app but do not understand why this happens. Is it the app? Is it my phone? Is it where I carry my phone? And if that’s the case, then why does it record some of the days but not everyday? Just wonderin’ !

Recent issues since last update. I love my steps app on my phone and have used it religiously for several years. I paired it with my Apple Watch 3 years ago & it worked fine until the last update. Now my watch face shows the steps I have walked since app was installed. So it shows almost 4 million steps on the watch face instead of daily steps. To view daily steps I have to open the app from my watch and view it that way. I’ve tried everything to fix it.

Wildly inaccurate. My impression of the app at work- 'You walked from your office to the back bathroom and back? Sounds like fifty steps to me. Keep killing it.' 'Whoa, Dude- you just walked across the living room? That's gotta be seventy...no, let's say 85 steps. That puts you up over 14 miles today. You rock.' I appreciate the optimism and the support, but a little accuracy would be ok too. Three stars because the accuracy seems to be uniform from day-to-day and gives me a good look at my output over time. And how mad can you get at something that supportive?

Awesome!!!!. Such a Great Supportive App!! It's very encouraging and has been accurate. I'm glad I was able to get ,a baseline of what my past 4 days were like once I downloaded the app!!! I have been sharing this app with friends. This helps us stay motivated.. So the only downfall is when I don't have pockets I have no place to put my phone..😬 it's all good...it's all about making changes. #awesome #loveit❤️

Amazing app!. Get this app if you want to exercise! It has so many different stuff on it and really encourages you if you are trying to lose weight. Not only does it let you track your steps, but it lets you go on a mode called “workout” which tracks where your at and sets up a goal for you to walk to. I recommend this app as it has changed my life.

Overall all satisfied. I enjoy this app & the benefits of knowing how many steps I am taking daily. I actually counted the steps myself & the app is very accurate. The only part that I wish I could actually know more on is how many steps are considered to equal a flight… The app accurately detects when I’m climbing stairs. However, rather it’s 12 steps or 22 steps, it will still be considered a flight. What is the solid number for a flight?

Récording steps even on airplane mode !. This app is very simple but it does a great job at keeping record of your steps. You do not have to be exposed to higher RFC while working out by having cell signal on. One recommendation is to allow for steps to reset as many times as possible to provide an accurate distance because it averages the steps and the time overall. thank you 👍🥖

Good pedometer. I really like this one and tried multiple. I like the fact of starting a walking workout in Apple Watch. I would like to see being able to share my steps right in the iMessages app from the bar of actions. I know already can from within app but that I would like it to send screenshot of my steps and not send the advertisement. I hope it gets more background choices or let us choose one from a picture/wallpaper. I would recommend this app.

Review of Steps. Yes, I love my “Steps” app. I have only one concern. On some days like yesterday, it didn’t record and steps even though I walked at least 1000 steps, to maybe as many as 4000. I cannot detect why, though when I go to settings it indicates that the “daily report” button is in the off position even though I consciously slid it to the “on” position on at least /two occasions. Any coaching will be much appreciated.

Great app and great assistance from developers!. Love the app and everything it keeps track of!! Had a little issues with it where the Steps just stopped working one day and it was a setting in my phone that i missed but was helped by one of the fine folks thats works at the Steps app. They walked me through it via email bcuz they knew exactly what it was and it fixed it right away!

Steps App Review. I would have rated Steps 5 stars except for one important section. I have noticed on way too many instances that Steps app misses a lot of steps. I carry a device which I have used for about 4 years and is very accurate. It has been calibrated several times on certified tracks and is always within 4-5 steps of a measured mile. The Steps App has dropped as many 180 steps on a measured mile . Otherwise, the Steps App is an excellent device for maintaining multiple records as long as you remember the steps being dropped.

Super simple step tracker. There are no frills to this program except maybe the pretty backgrounds. It works well, and does exactly what it says it will—tracks steps. It seems accurate when I’ve checked it against other more sophisticated apps. I like this one because it’s just there in the background, takes little to no battery and is unobtrusive. Highly recommended.

Inspires me to exercise. Overall I love this app because it’s simple and covers specific workouts and daily general steps. I wish it would provide stats, like “average steps for the last week or month”, and it eats a lot of battery if you are tracking the workout. Typically I’m listening to music while on a long walk and I run out of battery quickly. I’d like if it tracked workout route in the background while on low battery.

Stopped working today, actually takes AWAY steps.. I’ve used this app for two years, and it worked perfectly. Until today. I walked a mile and a half, came home, and the app showed that I had walked one step. Deleted the app, reinstalled, walked around a bit, it registered the steps, then as I watched reset to 1 step. I will probably look for a different app. (My old review: “This app does exactly what I need it to, and doesn't eat a lot of battery power doing it. Clean well designed interface. I'm using the free version, may pay to upgrade just to reward the folks that made it. I don't need the "calories-burned" feature, but it will be interesting!”)

Surprisingly useful. I downloaded because I wanted to loose weight and this app did everything it needed to do. They track how many steps obviously, there is even a mode where you track a walk and they map it out for you which can be really cool. There are in all purchases but they hardly matter you forget that they even exist. Overall recommend it

Overall helpful. Easy to use and I overall like it, the only thing I wish I could change is the time. It’s automatically set from 6AM to 6PM but I’m not even up until around 9AM and don’t rest till about 9PM, that’s 3 hours of a difference. Just wish I could adjust it from 9AM to even 12AM because that’s when the day technically ends is 12. And I stay up some nights doing stuff, I’d just find it more accurate with counting my steps for the day.

So-so. I have a couple of different step tracking apps on my phone to keep each of them honest. This one started off fine and tracked in real time but after about two weeks it stopped tracking or only tracked intermittently. For example this past weekend I walked in excess of 15,000 steps each day but even on Monday the app said I had been inactive. Other times it only tracks half the steps. I was considering upgrading to the premium version that tracked calories as well but I’ve changed my mind about that. Fix the glitches and it should be fine

Bug in update needs a fix. The update has an annoying bug that needs to be fixed. When I click tap on the history tab, rather than landing me on the current day or week of information, I always have to swipe forward about 3 to 4 months to see my current history. Really very annoying, please fix this so the focus will be on the current day and weeks worth of acts activities.

I try to use it every day. I use it every day whether I walk outside or not. I am a 65 year old heart Patient and my minimum goal is to walk at least a mile. Usually I exceed that most days but some days I don’t depending on the weather. Since the Covid 19 virus has hit I quit going to the gym. So my walking has been confined to outdoors walking. I am seriously thing about getting a treadmill so I can walk this winter.

Great motivator. I’ve used this app, and another that tracks the food I eat, to lose 34 pounds in two months. You get addicted to seeing how many steps you can do in a day. I use this in conjunction with the Steps app on my Apple Watch. I tend to have that on my more than my phone and don’t want to miss getting credit for any steps! Very good app if you’re motivated and will take your activity seriously.

Ok, but.... This app is great, but there is one thing that I don’t like. I was at 808 steps in the beginning, then I checked it again, and it was at 572.😦 I kept going and got to 1038 steps. I check a few minutes later and I’m at 634 steps.😞 This app is pretty cool otherwise, but I’m not sure if it’s really the best, considering it lost me steps. It changed my score basically. I would recommend this app for people who don’t care that much about reaching their goal or getting a lot of steps to show your friends or family or even be proud of yourself.

Amazing app!!. This is the best app if you want to start your running journey. I am in track and field and this is helping me so much my giving me the motivation to go run miles outside and build my stamina. But when I first got the app, I started a workout just to test the app out and I don’t know if there is a way to delete that workout from my history so I can keep track of all my good workouts.
