Tour guide never showed up. I had to download this app in order to book a tour that I found online in Charleston, South Carolina. The tour was supposed to be a true crime pub crawl. They were supposed to tell you all the stories of organized crime and murders etc. that happened in Charleston along the path of this tour. We were very excited about it, it was going to be the highlight of our trip. but the day came for the actual tour, and we were at the meeting spot as indicated in the email, but no tour guide. We were there, along with eight other people who were there for the same tour. Everyone called the tour operator, but we were not able to get in touch with anybody who knew the status of our tour guide. We were directed to contact GetYourGuide for a refund. That has been a nightmare. I contacted get your guide twice on that trip, and requested my refund. Both times I was told that it had been submitted and should be available within three days. It is now seven days later, and I just got off the phone with another customer service agent who said that this is the first they’re hearing of it and there’s no record of my earlier calls. Now she’s telling me that I will have to wait another three days for my refund to be processed. This company is a mess. Avoid them at all costs, their customer service is absolute trash.

You get what you pay for. I would be highly cautious utilizing and booking some tours. 3/4 tour of our were great. We were scammed by one of touring companies called “HP Travel” in Italy. The tour was booked to go to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius, and were never given the last part of the tour and rushed out and taken to a sketchy area. So, please make sure to read the reviews. We realized being in Italy there are cheaper agencies giving full tours of many locations at once where they pick you up and drop you off for 30 EU per person during November time, so do your research. We got our money back but these companies that scam on this app delete their comments as well making it seem they’re really 5-stars when they’re not. It’s definitely a hit or miss With some tours.

They did eventually refund…. I clicked to buy tickets to an attraction for a same day admission. Two people were with me and watched me click tickets for the Space Needle for a time a few hours away. When we got back to redeem our ticket, we were told it was for a different attraction a few miles away. The Space Needle employee said she has seen this happen frequently. I contacted the app and was told there was no refund possible and I would have to contact the attraction we mistakenly had tickets for. No one at the other attraction would answer the phone. No new tickets were available for the Space Needle for another 3 hours and we didn’t have time to wait. So no Space Needle and no money. Since the employee has seen this happen many times, the problem is with the app and they won’t help. Update: After being refused a refund a few times, I emailed again due to their response to my poor review. A few days later I did receive a refund so that’s good. They even changed the listing name of the other attraction per my suggestion although they didn’t tell me, I just noticed. Their mistake did mean that my guests did not get to see the Space Needle like they wanted and I had to spend a lot of time trying to get help.

DO NOT USE THIS PEOPLE - SCAM. I planned my trip to Paris to minute by minute… thought of everything that was important to me… Arrived at the louvre early, found the people that was on the voucher. Got the “sticker” as I was part of the group and after that all went down the drain… Asked the girl who was “the guide” how long until we got inside the Louvre she was frantic, didn’t know what to do and kept saying “it is my first week of work, I don’t know…” I bought this for english speaking… well… that was out of question… I had to translate her spanish to some people… we enter the Louvre after a lot of hassle and a couple tat was with us look at the other group and said it to me, let’s go with this group and that is how we got in!!! I don’t know what happen to the people that was left outside. NOT ORGANIZED… UNPROFESSIONAL… i called the phone number on the voucher and the person said she couldn’t help because it was Sunday. Emailed and got a message stating that I should get the tour guide… so my advice, do not use this people. Eiffel Tour is about $28 euros. Not what they charge at their app for all the hassle we had to endure.

Plitvice Lakes Tour. This tour was wonderful, Marco was very good in explaining the overview of the tour while we were on the bus. Even though the park was very crowded Marco explained the various areas of the areas as we toured the National Park. However, what he did following the tour, along with I Ana and the bus driver is what impressed me most. After disembarking the bus I discovered that I had left my cell phone behind. The bus had departed and I assumed the worst. However I contacted the local tour office where Ivana told me they would see what they could do. Between her, Marco and the bus driver they found my phone on the bus which had by now been garaged quite a distance away. Marco the delivered the phone personally to where I was staying. This is what I call over and above service. Thanks again Marco, Ivana and the bus driver.

Awful Experience. Booked a tour through GetYourGuide website. When I clicked to get the ticket, it kept forcing me to get this app as well. App asks for very intrusive and unnecessary data. I found that the tickets had been emailed anyway. Address was ambiguous and not quite at the location of tour. When I found location, tour operator said that tour was no longer available at the time on the ticket. I called the telephone number on the ticket, which led to a middleman who tried (unsuccessfully) to contact GetYourGuide. GetYourGuide’s business model seems to be to post ads for tours and take a commission. But they and their app do not function. Huge waste of money, Uber fares, and lost a chunk of vacation time. And they will not or have not refunded my money. I need to chase them down through he credit card. Hopefully they credit card company will cut them off.

3 day tour from Edinburgh to Inverness. Had a great time, such a beautiful place! Most importantly the children loved it. They're favorites were the mountains, waterfalls, the ocean view (seeing the orcas fins), feeding the Hairy Coos, and most of all the many double rainbows on the Isle of Skye. Pictures cannot capture it properly. The Isle of Skye was breath taking. Waterfalls were all over the many gorgeous mountain sides. I think we saw more rainbows in a day than I have in 10+years. The castles and ruins were very stoic and beautiful even in the rainy/foggy days. We stopped and saw so many historic places and events. Getting to see where the historic Jocobite battle took place at The Culloden Battle Field was very cool. The Quiraing Walk/Mountain/ Cliff was amazing, and quite the adventure getting there. So grateful the weather was well enough to make the drive up the mountain.

Easy to use and a bit frustrating. I received four vouchers each worth $500, and wanted to book a tour for six people BUT… you can only enter one voucher per order and one didn’t cover it. So I thought okay, I’ll do separate reservations and the balance will carry over. Well I thought wrong! After I entered a gift card voucher it’s not captured in their system and I have to keep entering it until it’s used up. I can’t combine the remaining balances from different vouchers to use on another activity. So kind of a pain, and probably designed so you leave a balance on each voucher. Bottom line if you don’t have a gift card/voucher this isn’t an issue. I would not give this as a gift like I was planning on doing.

Co. is a disgrace, allows passengers to travel with Covid, ignores emails, DO NOT USE.. DO NOT BOOK TRAVEL WITH THIS COMPANY. I was in Las Vegas recently and had a trip booked to the Grand Canyon but came down extremely ill with Covid and was isolated in my room. I was merely hours within the company’s cancellation policy yet they refused to refund my $107 trip fare unless I went to a Dr. and showed evidence of a positive test. Unable to leave the room (and return cab fare to an urgent care in Vegas plus copay would wipe out my refund anyway) I sent them a dated snapshot of my drivers license and positive test. The company flat out REFUSED to refund me and suggested that, instead, I GET ON THE BUS AND TAKE THE TRIP. Sooooo - this company is so desperate for $107 that they were willing to expose a busload of unknowing customers, many of whom were elderly, to Covid (my friend took the trip and verified later the demographic) rather than DO THE RIGHT THING. I have snapshots of the chat and subsequent emails where the company repeatedly tells me to get on the bus with Covid- I’m happy to post them online. This is customer service and safety at its worst, makes you wonder how often they check the brakes on the buses….. DO NOT TRAVEL WITH THEM.

Best guides ever. At the end of a trip to Italy, we added two extra days on our own. I signed up for four different get your Guide tours in Rome. They all were exceptional. One of the tours canceled the time we were to meet and ask us to come at a three hours later tour. We couldn’t do that, so with the help of another tour guide person standing near, she help me call the company to find out what was happening. The service was superior. We received a refund quickly with no questions asked. I highly recommend this company.

We got scammed. My wife and I paid 107 Euros for fast-track access and a tour of the Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona. We arrived at the meeting point half an hour early, but the guide never showed up. Despite multiple calls to the phone number on the reservation, there was no answer. We had to purchase tickets again at the Basilica's ticket office to proceed with the visit. The next day, we contacted GetYourGuide through their mobile app. A 'customer service' agent informed us that they don't provide refunds and we told them we would dispute the transaction with our bank they immediately deactivated our account. Essentially, we were scammed and lost 107 Euros. It's important for people to know that GetYourGuide uses external contractors at each tourist destination and is NOT responsible for their failures or misconduct. If the third party doesn’t show up they simply ignore your claims and block you from their app. It is not a trustworthy company, and we will never use it again in our travels.

Very helpful. My husband and I used this app for 6 different places and events on our honeymoon to Europe. We loved how user friendly it was, and how detailed the directions were. We were glad to see that most of the things needed for the tickets didn’t require mobile data since we wouldn’t be using any on our trip. The emails and reminders about each event were helpful. We believe that every event we purchased was well worth every penny. GetYourGuide was very helpful and I recommend it to anyone needing to book fun things on your next trip.

Awful. Terrible customer service. They only will deal with you in a chat on their app. My error was using the wrong email address, which seemingly would be an easy thing to fix not with this company! After an hour and a half of time they can’t find any of my bookings, yet I was charged $839. They can’t cancel the booking because they don’t see the bookings, but they can keep my $839! There’s plenty of other companies to book with out there. I suggest you use them. Even in trying to write this review, it forces you to create a nickname, of which just about everything is already taken. I urge you not to waste your time with this company.

App charged me but no tour booked. On Jan 20 I tried to book a tour. After completing the booking the app stated that something went wrong but not to worry, they’re working on it. I contacted them after noticing my credit card had been charged, but GetYourGuide stated they had no record of me booking that tour. I was asked to send a screenshot of my charge from my bank. Nothing could get resolved as they still had nothing showing that I’d booked that tour. I then had to contact my bank, who then filed a dispute resolution claim. I’m giving the app 3 stars because I had booked another tour that went through just fine about a month ago. Customer service was also quick to respond. However, I’m reluctant to book another tour with this app as I don’t want to go through this again and possibly lose more money. UPDATE: Victor from GetYourGuide responded promptly and has taken care of the issue. I am giving them 5 stars due to their excellent customer service!

False advertising what the pass is for. We had went to New Jersey and bought pass though this app and when we went to go do 2 of are activities it was declined and said they no longer take those passes and they have tried getting a hold of the people to take them off the list and they never got a response so with that be we bought 6 ticket which was almost 400 and when we called them and asked for a refund bc we couldn’t do what they advertised and drove 7 hours with 4 kids to do the stuff they said they could only refund 80 dollars and no more and for them to even do that is was a 3 week process and poor customer service I had to keep contacting them to see what was going on I would not recommend this to any one look into the city passes which most tourist city offer and it right though the city and not a third party like this place

Don’t buy Innsbruck cars through this company. I read an article about Innsbruck, which recommended I buy an Innsbruck Card. The card is a way to get around Innsbruck and includes admission into multiple tourist attractions. I clicked on the link to buy the card and it brought me to this company. I assume this company sponsored the article but I could be wrong. I bought the Innsbruck card through this company because it touted instant mobile ticket vouchers. We got our ticket vouchers instantly as stated and headed off to our first attraction. When we got there the mobile tickets didn’t work. After much ado with the ticket office we discovered that we didn’t actually have the Innsbruck card, but instead just ticket vouchers. Not only could we not enter the attraction but we‘d have to travel 30 minutes away to exchange the mobile vouchers for the actual Innsbruck Card tickets at a specific location. We could have just bought the Innsbruck card where we were but we’d be out an extra 68 euro. So we went to the tourist center 30 minutes away to exchange our electronic “voucher” for our paper Innsbruck Card. There we waited for an hour in line to get our Innsbruck Card. Only then were we on our way...what a waste of 2 hours. This company offered no convenience. We could have just bought the card anywhere in Innsbruck for the same price and without the hassle. This company offered nothing but inconvenience.

Sold me an unusable ticket. I was in Lisbon on Dec 31, 2021, looking forward to visit Jeronimos Monastery, one of the few tourist attractions that do not state New Year's Eve as a closing day. Arriving at the Monastery, it was true that the Church was open and that's free entry. The ticket is for the Cloister which was closed that day. I confirmed that with church staff. So I requested a refund, mentioned that the paid section of the monastery was closed. The response was a screenshot from the monastery's website on closing dates, denying the refund because the website doesn't have Dec 31 as a closing date. That's accusing a customer of lying. When a customer tells you something contradicting what you find online, the least that you can do is to verify with a human. I replied that I wanted them to email to the monastery and verify that the Cloister was closed. Their response was it's their policy that they couldn't refund for requests made within 24 hours of event starting time but that's completely missing the point. The problem is there was no event and their staff accused a customer of lying with insufficient due diligence. Don't expect customer service when something goes wrong.

Over Priced, Never Worth It. This company has over priced every single activity. It’s not insignificant, it is 3x, 4x, 5x, and sometimes even more expensive than 6x booking directly from the activity that you’re planning. It is not more convenient, it is not a better experience, it is NEVER worth using. I’m telling you this because I have done this on more than one occasion until I recently spoke with a local in Paris. They told me it was way too expensive what this company was charging and he told me to look directly on each website. After doing so, he was 100% right. Do not fall for their scams! If you are like my wife and I you probably like doing what the locals do. This is NOT it. We are looking to get a refund for a recent booking only to be told that 50% refund is the best they can do. Terrible, terrible, terrible service and if I could give it 0 stars I would.

Great Customer Service!. I had booked a tour using the Get Your Guide app and didn’t realize until too late, that I booked the wrong tour time. Not only had the free refund cancellation window closed, but the missed tour had also already taken place! I used the chat function on the app to contact them just to see if refund was even possible. The customer service agent was very understanding and helpful. They followed up with me through the process of contacting the company, kept me informed of every step, and was able to get me the full refund! Long story short— the app is easy to use and has incredible customer service!

Great App. We went to Hawaii last year and used get your guide for 3 fantastic excursions. Everything was as described and we had no issues whatsoever. Our experience was so good that this trip to Florida we are booking more excursions. I am hoping all goes as well as it did in Hawaii. I’m not sure if you can get better deals by waiting to book when there, but knowing we have everything booked already is worth any extra expense if there even is one. This app takes you to many destinations, it’s easy to use and like I said so far everything was just as expected. We’re not that tech savvy yet still was an easy experience. There are multiple payment options and it says you can cancel up to the day before if your plans change, so why not book and have your vacation plans well in order.

Last minute cancellation. In my trip to Spain, I did not have any issues with bookings until my short one day trip in Seville, Spain. I had booked an entry ticket to the Alcazar, at 2:13 pm and the only available time was 4:30pm. We walked from our hotel and at 3:29pm I received an email from Get your Guide that the booking had been cancelled with no specific reason, and that I would receive a refund within 7 days. I decided to walk over to the Alcazar but the ticket booth had closed by the time we arrived at approximately 4pm and the entry closing at 5pm. The staff there simply told me I could not purchase entry and that I would need to talk with the third party company that I booked with, and referred to them as “competition”. This sidelined what we really wanted to see in our 1 day trip to Seville. I feel that we should have received the cancellation notice a lot sooner to make other plans before wasting our time, and getting stuck in a situation where we could not book any other attractions during our stay. It made more sense to visit the attraction directly or book directly with their website rather than using Get your Guide. I am hoping I do not have issues receiving my refund at this point.

Desperately trying to book but transaction won’t complete. Just updated the app. Trying to book multiple adventure days and it lets me select my tour, number of people, days - says there is availability but won’t take my money and complete the transaction help please. UPDATE: My original review was 2 stars, changing it now to 5. Less than a day after posting the review above I received an email with apologies for any inconvenience, offers for help etc - seriously, they couldn’t have been nicer and the problem was quickly resolved. All set now, this and other tours booked. Have used this app in Italy & Poland and have never had any trouble at all.

Do not use this app. This was my first time using GYG for a trip, and I regret it. People have stated the quality of the experiences themselves, but there is also the quality of the app itself. Not only are instructions for the meeting points usually vague, but the app itself is the worst. I almost missed an event I booked because when I asked GYG to provide me instructions, they took me to the wrong location and I practically sprinted to get to the right one. I’ve lost far too much time and money when I could have spent a little more on another service and had more peace of mind. Don’t get me started on customer support, who closes the chat if you don’t respond straight away. I had to rebook another experience of mine because they refused to reschedule it due to their inability to just tell people where to go. I am done. Hope you enjoyed the money you took from me. Never again.

The app stole money from me. I tried to book tickets to NASA in Houston for July 22, 730am. I used their app to purchase 3 tickets for $92 and when it was time to pay it read invalid error , can’t process. So I logged out and went thru the process again to purchase 3 tickets and at payment time it read Invalid error. So I logged out an logged back in and went to try a 3rd time and boom, they did process the first 2 sets of attempts I had made even though it had said it didn’t process! So they charged me double amount. I called them immediately and spoke with a representative at 730am. My tickets were for 1pm that same day. They said they would look into . My wife an I called back a few other times and they gave us the run around each time. This all happened on a Friday . I called again today ( Monday ) and they gave me run around some more, they said they would look into it. I received a email on Sunday stating that I wasn’t going to get refunded my $92 that they over charged me. Also the 5 different people I spoke to from costumer service for this app was from India and could barley speak English. They all gave my wife an I the run around. Do not use this app!!!!!

Use Someone Else for Acropolis Tickets. We had bought tickets that were supposed to last a few days and get us into several sights-the Agora, the Acropolis, etc. We had an entry time to the Acropolis in the late afternoon. We went to the Agora in the morning. When we went at our assigned time at the Acropolis we were told our tickets were no longer valid because we had gone to the Agora in the morning. No matter what we showed them, including the email indicating our entry time, it didn’t matter. It would be another $20 per person to enter the Acropolis. I refused to pay and told the woman at the ticket counter that this is a scam. But one of my friends paid for all four of us to enter. I told her not to pay for me, that I would just meet them when they came back down. But she paid anyway. I wrote a review of GetYour Guide on Yelp or another website and got the same canned response you see here on the bad reviews. I am not even going to waste my time responding to them.

Trip to Italy. My first trip to Europe, went to Italy and did not know where to go but my Neice used this app on her trip and sent to me and really was the best thing happened, was so easy to find things to do with many options and reasonable prices. This app truly made me and my family enjoy the trip by being able to plan multiple tours during the day. Few times I needed to cancel or change and they answered the phone right away and helped us and also the chat was immediate response. Thanks to all who are part of the great app “Get Your Guide”

Riddled with incorrect information. This app is not good. We booked 3 tours through them and 2 had completely wrong information. We were told that hotel pick up was available for the Sunrise Lake Tour, but then when we tried to book it we were told it wasn’t available. For that same tour, we were told the wrong pick up location. Had I not tried to book the pick up, we would have been out hundreds of dollars. Then we learned while on the tour the guide had preordered food for everyone but us - it was never offered to us through this app. Then I confirmed the pick up not once but twice for the last tour. Turns out they had the location on the wrong side of the hotel. Once again, had I not called we would have been left. Recommend trying another booking app if you are in Banff.

A MUST FOR EVERY TRAVELER. The pocket wifi is the BEST thing you should have when in Tokyo... the connection is very strong, it’s handy and battery charge lasts for more than a day! I ordered for. 7-day service. The unit was delivered to my hotel before I arrived. From Tokyo, Inwent to Shibuya, Shinkuku, and back to Ginza.... I brought and I used the pocket wifi only and my celln phone to navigate my way! Then with the self-address and stamped mail envelope that was provided by the pocket wifi company, I just dropped off the unit at the post box in Narita 2, 3rf floor on the right corner before the Immigration check gate... So convenient! Thank you for the excellent service and the way you do business!

FRAUDULENT 3RD PARTY ADS. If You are an American Express customer, do not let American Express convince you to use this website! I would be weary of any positive reviews that you see about this app. Most of them are created by customers given an incentive to do so. This is not an official company distributing tickets to attractions and events. They allow random third-party sellers to advertise events on their website without verifying if these third-party sellers are posting accurate information. I purchased two tickets for a basketball game and never received the actual tickets. I reached out to the GetYourGuide customer service and they couldn’t even get in contact with the seller that posted the ad for the tickets. how are you? Unable to get in contact with someone but, you’re allowing them to post on your website?

Wonderful e-bike tour today!!. We had the most surprising tour today with a young guide. He was an art historian and painter. So knowledgeable about each stop on the tour. It covered all the major Paris sites. He has a beautiful commentary and wonderful positive outlook on Paris and the world. He also spoke wonderful English as well as German and French! The e-bikes and people and cars took one second to get used to but once we got going it was quite easier to sort out, just be smart and don’t ride in front of a car just as you wouldn’t at home. The e-bike power made doing all the sites easy, we ended the day with enough energy to take a walk! Such a lovely and refreshing day in Paris!!

One Star. I showed up for our morning tour to find I was at the wrong Hard Rock Cafe. Knowing we were not going to make it to the correct one on time, I called the office, and the representative informed me there was nothing she could do. I asked for a refund since it was an honest mistake. - We are staying in Ontario, and there is a Hard Rock Cafe; I thought this was the one to meet. I did not know NY had one too. - until it was too late. I asked the rep. for her supervisor, and she informed me one was unavailable. I asked when I could call back, and she said she didn't know when one would be available for me to talk to. I felt stonewalled and evaded by her. I am very disappointed in this company and how the representative handled my situation. If the tables were turned, I would have refunded the guest and taken note to make it crystal clear to future customers which Hard Rock Cafe to meet at. I will never use this tour company again, nor will I ever refer any of my friends to use you.

Great travel app. Last year, my husband and I went on our 20th anniversary trip ton Spain, Portugal, Morocco, & Gibraltar. Get Your Guide was a great app to use in planning some of the places we wanted to see. Purchasing tickets for tours or points of interest was easy and the cancellation policy is very good. We had one place we had to cancel because of time constraints and we got a full refund because we cancelled within the time frame they mentioned. I also like the fact that tickets are stored in the app or you can download it to your phone and since we have iPhones, all our tickets were stored in Apple wallet so it was safe and secure and hassle free as we didn’t have to print physical copies. Also the freedom of not having to get in line to buy tickets is another bonus. We visited the Tile museum in Lisbon and the tickets were for the same day and entrance is at anytime so that helped us plan our day and we were able to take our time at all the places we visited.

Booking/Reservation process overcharged. This company charged me for a tour that they said I booked but never sent me the vouchers/tickets which cost $162. Now they are saying that they can not send me a refund because it has past their 24 hour cancellation policy. They claim that I must have booked 2 similar tours for the same time and date so I was charged for both of them. However they only sent one email with vouchers for one of the tours that they charged me. And that email with the vouchers was for the one tour that I believed I booked. Had they sent me an email with the vouchers of the alleged tour in question then that would have flagged me that I booked two tours. Even my booking history in the GetYoirGuideApp is only showing one tour which is the one I believed I booked and used. I keep telling asking where are the vouchers/tickets for the other tour but they keep responding that I can’t get a refund because it is past their 24 hour cancellation policy!! I keep asking that maybe their was a glitch with their system/process that day I booked my tour but they won’t even try to check that. I booked my tour the day before the actual tour. I will not use this company again - their system/process is not reliable!

False advertisement and argumentative!. I booked a tour that said “waterfall hike, kayaking and paddle board.” After several stops and the paddle board and kayak, our tour guide said we were done and returning to our drop offs. I asked why we didn’t do the waterfall hike and he said “you booked your excursion off get your guide, didn’t you?” He explained that it’s one or the other, waterfall hike OR paddle board/kayak, not both as listed. I emailed get your guide with a photo of my booked excursion that clearly stated “waterfall hike, paddle board AND kayak.” It should say or if we have to choose. They are aware and not sorry about the issue, I asked for a partial refund since I paid for something that was not given and they declined. They said if you read the small print it explains this. I said my voucher says AND, where I booked says AND no where on it does it say OR. I do not recommend this company, it’s an issue even the tour buses of Hawaii is aware of after several complaints and they refuse to change the listing to be accurate, then manipulate customers.

Ten out of ten. Thanks so much for putting this experience together for us to enjoy. Highly recommend it. The entire experience from the moment we got pick up for our hotel to the moment we were drop off afterwards was amazing. ADNAN was our guide he displayed professionalism throughout the entire trip, especially during thur the desert he maneuver the car in such a way that kept the experience safe and fun for us and other passengers. The food was delicious, all the time and effort in keeping the guest comfortable was shown till the moment we left the desert. Thank you all for this experience highly recommending it to friends and family. Will repeat it when we are back in Dubai.

Safe and reliable. I have used GetYourGuide twice now and both times were flawless. The friendly guides pick you up on time, and they are knowledgeable about their tour. I went to the DMZ in South Korea and the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary In Phuket, Thailand. Both times I booked the tour alone because no one in my group wanted to go. I was a little worried about being a young female and doing excursions alone, but I felt safe the entire time. The guides offered to take pictures for me since I wasn’t with anyone. They are really flexible too. I needed to make a last minute change in my pickup location, the night before, and being in a foreign country I had no access to call anyone, but I had WiFi. Thank goodness GetYourGuide has a WhatsApp account that allowed me to communicate with company to make the switch. I can’t say enough good things about this company. They are safe, reliable, and punctual!

Scammed us. My family and I signed and paid for the San Diego Gaslamp District Tour game. Drove down there, parked ($$), and went to the spot we were told to go. Nothing there, no one, no office, no stand, no sign, nothing. Instantly got that old, “ we got scammed” feeling. After contacting customer service and never speaking to anyone just texting and emails, and being sent around the area in search of whoever was to check us in, they finally tell us the employee who is supposed to be there left. Then asked for a refund, we were told it takes up to 5 days to do that. Look folks, it wasn’t a great expense, I spent more on lunch for us, it is how it was operated and handled. I’m sure others had a great time doing it. We didn’t. If you want my advice, that part of San Diego is amazing, just go there and walk on your own, and leave this so called game alone. JMO

Horrible service gross incompetence. My wife and I booked tours of the museum in Florence where they keep Michaelangelo’s David. The website did not work well and it took a while to get the two tickets. When we arrived at the appointed place 15 minutes early we encountered rude and abusive representatives who tried to deny us entry because they did not have the proper information notwithstanding that I had email confirmation of both tickets and copies of both tickets in my Apple wallet. They tried to tell me that one ticket was for a different date, notwithstanding that the email and the tickets in my wallet both had the same date of September 5, 2019 ( the date we were there). We finally got in and there was no guide and, as far as we know, no tour as promised and paid for. Due to my complaints, I received a call from another representative who had no idea what was going on. She said she would check and call me right back. That was over an hour ago and there has been no follow up call. I told her we wanted the tour or our money back and have received neither. I will report the transactions to the credit card issuer and ask they they be charged back. I would only recommend this company to someone I disliked. I have no intention of ever dealing with it again. If you choose to, good luck. I gave it a one star rating because the system won’t accept negative ratings. I would have preferred to give it the minus 5 I think it deserves.

Terrible experience. We booked a 5 hour premium English tour to Concha y Toro with GetYourGuide with a pickup at 8:30 AM. The night before we were informed our driver would pick us up at 7:15 AM. The driver spoke no English! We were the first ones on and then to make it worse we were the last ones off at 2:30 pm!! When we got to the winery at around 9:00 am we were given tickets to an English 2 hour tour that didn’t start until 10:40 am but we were told to be back at the bus at noon. Fortunately the winery tour guide called the driver and said we could not be back until 12:45 pm. This made everyone else have to wait for us which made us feel bad. The separate tour of the winery was great and I would rate it a 5. I would recommend anyone to avoid GetYourGuide services but I definitely encourage the Concha y Toro tour just find a better way to get there and back.

Use TripAdvisor………. I usually use TripAdvisor however the tour I want to go on was all booked up so I decided to use this app. I have to say that was the worst decision I made. The tour guide had no idea what she was talking about she was extremely unorganized. she was walking and talking and the group was at least 2-3 feet behind her and she just didn’t care she was speedwalking people had children she was talking to at least one person and it was at least 13 people in the group. So me and my partner left 20 minutes into the tour because it was horrible we couldn’t hear anything. So when I went to ask for a refund they only refunded half the money. we didn’t even get to take a tour. I had the same experience with Tripadvisor but it wasn’t as bad as this, we actually stayed for the whole tour and we just wrote how they could have improved on the tour TripAdvisor gave us 100% refund back plus we still took the tour this one we didn’t even take the full tour and they would not give it to us. the customer service honestly didn’t even seem to care like this is what you’re getting and oh well. it wasn’t a nice service to use it wasn’t professional it wasn’t accommodating my experience with this was horrible. It was my first and absolutely my last.

Terrible customer service when no tour guide shows up and tried to get your refund. W me booked 2 tours on 2 separate days. The first tour, we were there 30 minutes before the start time. No one showed up, period. I called the tour operator and emailed; no answer and no response. I went on the app and chatted, the lady who was helping me concluded that it was a no show and told me she’s processing a refund and file a complaint about this tour company. Days later I’m getting e emails asking me for more information and I still have not received my refund. The second tour, same thing happened except i I was the only a few minutes before the tour start time. Again, no one was there. This time the chat person was giving me a hard time and told me because I wasn’t there exactly 5 minutes before the tour I forfeit my position, never mind that no tour guide was there. We spent over 30 minutes on chat to no avail. An hour later I received an cancellation email on the tour at 1 hour 11 minutes after the tour start time. All I can say is that these people will find any excuse to hold on to your money even when the tour was non existence. What a horrible experience. I’d never use them again.

DO NOT USE THIS APP! SCAM ALERT. This app will link you with various providers for cruises, guided tours and more. The problem is YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT KIND OF PROVIDER YOU WILL GET. You may get lucky and get a service that’s great OR YOU MAY END UP LIKE ME! I ended up with a service provider for a day trip that never communicated a cancellation, was rude, unkind, hard to get ahold of and did not care about the customer’s concerns. This caused me to lose out on two trips due to me cancelling one AFTER ENSURING THE TRIP I BOOKED with this app WAS INDEED GOING TO HAPPEN and expecting to be exhausted after. I’m not a difficult person so I was actually surprised how just how much the provider and this app didn’t care. When I contacted this app’s customer service, they basically said “sorry you’re sad” and never mentioned customer service or encouraging increased communication between provider and customer DESPITE ME NOTING THEY ARE LINKING PPL TO SCAMMERS. Go directly to this apps CS for ALL refunds…. They at least did that!

They won’t let you leave less than a 5 star review. I tried to give 2 stars but they don’t even allow it!! 😂 WOW. I recently tried this app/company for the first time on an international trip because they seemed so convenient and they had many more tours and opportunities than I had been easily able to find otherwise. However, after booking 3 items through them, I have spent more time on help chat with them tracking down and fixing their mistakes than the time spent on actual enjoyable activities, which is supposedly what they sell - convenient access to activities. My experiences with this company have included waiting in 15 degrees F for an hour for a tour bus that never came, an hour now on the app and phone after that to get that tour refunded, and more recently, more time out of my life after vacation is over tracking down why they are apparently recurring charging me according to my credit card alerts. Thanks Get Your Guide for enriching my life! I will say that their customer service people are very friendly (they clearly get alot of practice), however, I prefer companies that get it right in the first place. Avoid them like the plague.

Mexico City tour. I originally thought this app was good until customer service gave me false information. I booked a tour and put the same name as the second pick up destination that was given. The second destination was 30 mins later than the first pick up destination and as someone who is not a morning person those 30 mins make a big difference. Well the app selected the first one which was further from my hotel. When I called a couple hours prior the day of the even the tour company didn’t answer. So I contacted the support through the app. They lied to me and said they were the same location which is incorrect. Thus having me to have to rush and use an Uber instead of the metro which is a significant difference in pay and to skip breakfast. If the pickups were the same I wouldn’t have an issue but seeing how I was blatantly lied too and it cost me money that’s a problem, I will be using trip advisor from now on.

Amazing time at Niagara - Thanks Steph!. Honestly, one of the best all-around experiences we’ve had during our time in Canada. Steph brings her charismatic personality and humor to a great tour. She did a great job breaking down the agenda & throwing in some facts about the area, whilst also still being personal. Steph also recommended other attractions, food spots and activities to do in the area at the end, which was really helpful. We loved Niagara-on-the-lake. Truly great vibes - only wish we had more time with her! Thanks Steph and See Guide for a great experience! Will definitely be booking with both again for future tours.

Amazing customer service. I was on a cruise ship headed to Palma de Mallorca which had to turn around to search for an overboard passenger. I emailed customer service to let them know that our ship would not be making it to port and they promptly responded. They checked with the local vendor in Mallorca and he refused to refund our money for our excursion, but under the circumstances, get your guide stepped up and refunded my money out of their own pocket. It’s so great to see a company that has such good ethics and treats its customers so well. I will continue to use them for all of our trips. Integrity is rare in businesses these days.

Boston Trolly Tour. We booked this tour through Get Your Guide app and it was easy all the way as far as booking, e-tickets, etc and loved that about the app. Two comments…wish information about it was clearer, for eg. It was not typical from our experience as usually we could do one complete loop then go through again and “hop off” at the points of interest. This one you can hop off at any stop but you only get one complete trip around. Second, the trolly stop was at least two walking miles from our cruise terminal, which was ok (beautiful weather) but be sure to allow time for round trip walk. Of course taxis are available but we did think our round trip trolly ride (about an hour ish) was pricy. Guide was a terrific narrator though.

Technical error with the app. Update-After reviewing my claim, GYG realized that I was not at fault, and reimbursed me for the extra charges. Thank you for following through and making me feel like my business with your company is valued. Tried to book a tour 4 times through the app, only to get to the end after I’d entered my credit card information, and was told there was a technical error and to try again later. I was actually charged all 4 times, and the company is refusing to reimburse me, even though it should be obvious that I do not want the same tour 4 times, for the same 4 people, on the same day. And should be obvious when only 1 voucher was redeemed!!! Terrible customer service!!!

App great, customer service not!. This app has been so helpful on all of my trips abroad. I love the ease of booking and having so many options available. There is literally something for everyone! Sometimes the app is more expensive than other avenues of ticket purchasing, but again, the app is just easier to pull up purchases and tickets. However, the meeting points of some tours are difficult to find and unclear. Also, customer service is horrible to deal with. I accidentally double-booked a tour 5 days in advance bc the app wasn’t working properly. It took a half hour to fix and the person I spoke with was not super nice, told me I was wrong, there was a language barrier and I had to repeat the number 4 times.

Deceptive Practice and Terrible Service. I booked and paid for a 10:00 am non-refundable tour of the Alhambra in Granada through GetYourGuide. The next day, they passed on a message from the 3rd party that is conducting the tour. The message was “This tour may be overbooked. Can you change to a different time - either 8 am or 3 pm.” I responded that I wanted to keep the 10 am time. Three days later, I hadn’t heard anything so I contacted GetYourGuide requesting the status. They contacted the 3rd party and informed me that the issue would be resolved within a few days. One week later I still don’t know if we have a tour nor do I know what time to show up. To book a tour, take the money (non refundable), inform you that they can’t fulfill the obligation and then not even follow up is inexcusable service. Do not use GetYourGuide!!!

Ridiculous!. Never in my travels ( and I’ve done a lot) have I ever bought a ticket online and then received a text message hours later saying, that I have to meet a man so he can hand over the tickets. This was made worse by not receiving clear instructions. When, in a strange city and you are left running around like an idiot in the heat, and you don’t want to miss your entrance time to your selected sightseeing spot, made the whole situation more than aggravating. Next time, I’ll buy the tickets from the actual venue and not some second hand ticket site.

Take your money and do not help at all, poor communication.. Made a booking for a private driver in Japan. The booking allowed 3 people for a single price and apparently I chose 1 passenger when it should have been 2. In all communication with GetYourGuide, it showed the booking as up to 3 people. The driver advised of the issue and when I contacted Jennifer from GYG, she deflected blame, gaslit me and refused to escalate the issue to a Supervisor. Whilst I sorted it out with the driver, this was not helped at all by GYG. I DO NOT recommend using this as they take no responsibility for their poor communication.

2 Day Private Tour - Sunrise & Sunset. This was a great tour. We covered some beautiful temples without becoming ‘templed out’. Our guide Mr Sokpee was extremely knowledgeable & obviously enjoyed his job & sharing the history of his country & the temples of Angkor Wat. He knew all of the best photo spots & took some beautiful photos for us. Our driver Mr Sa was extremely attentive, he was always on hand with cold refreshing towels & ice cold water, & we always felt very safe. I highly recommend this tour.

Variable experience. I have used GYG for booking 3 activities on a trip to Japan in Cherry Blossom season so pretty busy. 1st experience was transfer airport to hotel. No problem. Booked a day trip which was excellent. I also booked transfer for end of trip. Problems! booking was canceled. There was no contact requesting pickup details and no provision to provide it at time of booking. Contacted GYG support, who were very good and rebooked with another company and provided our pick up details. Again was canceled for same reason. Need to refine booking information with service providers

Tea ceremony. Trying to book this good luck as added kimono without request then could change booking then chat took ages. Still couldn’t verify without getting all details myself again. Same happened team labs took me ages to book. Obviously the app not up to speed. Don’t want to Waste hour booking then rectify & chat to get stuff sorted then supply details again. Need really better app booking service. Also chat not great either.

Genesis. Amazing travel, Thanks to Ben we had one of the most beautiful trips with my mom. Excellent punctuality and comfort during the trip. Ben was very patient in communicating with us, he told us about the history of the places, the vegetation and animals in the area. Recommended 100%, thanks Ben.

Very easy to use. I find the Get Your Guide app very easy to use. GYG keeps me up to date via the app as well as through emails. The only thing that I would love to be added is a photo of the meeting point - it would make things so much easier to have a visual reference point.

Easy to use and trustworthy. This is a great app for finding and booking tours but more so, it has responsive and professional customer service when something goes wrong! The “free cancellation” is true, the refund takes 3-5 days as stated. But also I had other issues about a tour and my email complaint was dealt with quickly and professionally. Although it is an app, it good to be able to contact real people too when they don’t go to plan

Look for private companies. Don’t opt for the massive, JOIN OUR LINE WELL OUTSIDE THE SITE companies. There will be many more lines to get inside while you watch the clever people who just showed up and purchased a ticket walk through their single line and enter. The only thing that sometimes makes it better is commentary but sometimes the commentary is boring as .... For first time tourists, try this and Viator. Next time not so much.

Paris tours. Not happy with the lack of information on this app for travellers not able to find the tour that they have booked . Not enough information to assist the travellers and people that answer the calls to not speak very good English and not able to assist you with where to go next Good on the Italian cruise was disappointing and very unhappy with the standard and presentation of food . Feel there should be a few more choices especially for people that have dietary restrictions. Overall unhappy with the get your guide app

Top customer service. I have just made my third booking with GYG and totally impressed with customer service. All enquires have been addressed in an efficient and prompt manner. Looking forward to enjoying my purchased experiences.

Impressive. I’ve used this app in Austria, Hungary and Dubai so far and I’m really liking how easy it is to use and the way the app organises the events into different categories. It’s saved me a lot of time browsing the Internet looking at different tourism sites when everything is compacted and payments easily made for bookings using this GetYourGuide app.

Lacking a very basic function. I was really enjoying Get Your Guide, as it had availability for a tour that I wanted to get on, but appeared booked out through Trip Advisor. I also found the support features of getting to the meeting point, finding all my bookings in one pace with no glitches in the app to be great. BUT.. Such a basic feature: To display what the maximum number of participants is for any particular group/tour, is NOT available. On Trip Advisor, on the very first page when viewing the tour that you click on and might choose to book, it displays the number of maximum participants. Which is important! Some people do not wish to be in large groups. And if I have no way of finding out how many people might be in a particular tour, then I do not want to book with this app. Really disappointing. And a huge let down for an otherwise fantastic app.

Really good tour guide app especially for solo traveler or small group. I recently went to Türkiye & Greece both first time using GetYourGuide booked pretty much all the small group tours. All the tours in Türkiye are great experiences and the guides are really good. The cancellations process & book pay later are such a relief for my trips . Also to be able to contact the tour guide directly via the app is vital . I could not find the meeting point for my Istanbul street food tour , fortunately was able to use this function to contact the tour agent then the contact the guide to ask him him to wait for me . Definitely will use it again . Greek food tour is yet to comment.

Easy to Find Tours. So easy to see what you’re are available and book. I found a few tours that never showed on an internet search.

Fountain of knowledge. Salib, our guide, made our day enjoyable, informative and meaningful in our pyramids tour. He was accommodating and gentlemanly and we felt well taken care of. We always felt comfortable and safe in Salib’s car. Thanks Salib for your insights into ancient Egypt, your love and pride in it’s stories and sharing with us.

Must do in Florence.. Leonardo our guide was excellent. He shaded lots of detailed informations about history, social, architecture and art. Did not have to wait for hour to enter the Batistery, the Duomo museum and the cathedral. Be prepared to walk up 414steps up the clock tower. Highly recommended.

Mount Batur Sunrise trek and hot springs. Our Driver Sapri was excellent he picked us up from our accomadation drove us to Mount Batur where Patra our guide took us to the top of mount Batur cooked us a wonderful breakfast and made us tea and coffee to watch the sunrise. Patra told us about the volcano and took us to see the steam coming off one of the internal walls. We walked back down the mountain with Patra and thanked him for his time and knowledge and jumped back in the car with Sapri who then drove us to the hot springs and back to our accomadation via a coffee plantation where we tasted a number of coffees and teas. This was an excellent day out and we were home by 2pm so had plenty of time to recover and explore Ubud ourselves.

Batu Caves experience.. Our tour guide, Wai, was very pleasant and answered all our questions. The climb up the Batu cave stairs was as expected, not particularly difficult if you take your time. The Batik ‘factory’ demonstration and Selangor Pewter Factory visit were an unexpected addition to an inexpensive tour. Wai, took photos of us and gave us additional information about where to eat locally. He was a highlight of the tour. Well worth taking this tour!

Absolute best day!. The tour was absolutely incredible, each place we visited seemed to be better than the last. The day was packed with historic and scenic sites which were almost unreal. The tour would not have been anything like it was if it wasn't for our fantastic host, Joey. From 6.50am when we first met and everyone was tired and groggy, Joey lifted the mood with his positive and happy attitude. Within the first hour he felt like a friend more so than a tour guide. Throughout the entire tour he made us feel more than comfortable, but rather at home, by having the best chat, jokes and friendly banter. His friendly and funny attitude made the tour entertaining even when we were all just in the bus going to the next site. He also told us many fun facts about Melbourne and different events since he's been a local here his whole life. My highlight was when he played 'Dance Monkey' by Tones and I after my girlfriend told him I was a huge fan. He then told us he was at her wedding in Bali which made my day. Thanks a lot, Joey for being the icing on the cake and gelling the group and tour together so perfectly. Cheers, Pasha and Georgie (bloke from London and girl from Yarram, both living in Oman).

All sell, no responsibility. I booked a tour 2 hour tour through this app that was cancelled 20 minutes into the tour by the operator because the venue closed due to the long queues. When I requested a refund on the $75 per person tickets, the operator refused, only providing a $15 refund on the venue entry. This left us out of pocket nearly $140, for a tour lasting a quarter of the advertised time. Get Your Guide was completely unhelpful, said they could do nothing to assist with getting a refund for the remainder of the tour. They’re happy to sell you the experience, but if something goes wrong they don’t want to know about you. Very poor customer experience and you shouldn’t bother with them.

Amazing Tour with an Amazing Driver 💫😁👏🏻. Daniel our wonderful driver took us on a spectacular adventure tour of the Taal Volcano & Pagsanjan Falls. Only a couple of hours from Makati in Manila. My husband and two children aged 7 & 9 had so much fun! With his knowledge, Karisma and comfortable vehicle this day was unforgettable. We felt safe and relaxed as well as having so many laughs. We Highly recommend this stunning tour ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars. Hopefully we can come back again some day. Thank you Daniel you really made it for our little family 🥰

Trunyam cemetery tour. Had the best day trip . Our driver was fantastic. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and shared a lot of Bali history and culture with us. He made our trip fun and assisted my elderly mother whenever she needed help. Would highly recommend.

Disappointing. Get your guide booked us for a tour for The Louvre on a day that it was closed. GYG would not then reschedule the tour and we then booked for another day in good faith we would be refunded for the nonexistent tour. 12 hrs before our second booking we received notification that this tour would not go ahead. We are now out of pocket for two tours with no opportunity to see The Louvre. Wasted time arriving at tour and waiting for guide before own discovery that not open and missed out on seeing it. I called GYG number and after 90minutes and being hung up on 3 times before talking to them I am left hoping I get two refunds. I’ll be using an alternate provider in future.

Booked a small tour but ended on a party boat. Booked a small boat tour to Blue Lagoon and 3 islands. Tour was meant to include a visit to UNESCO protected city of Trogir. With highlights listed as Small group experience (12 people) for a more personalized service. Never made it to Trogir because the tour company put us on a party boat with over 100 people. When we questioned the boat operator we knew something was wrong. They told us to stay as we were in the right place. The tour we were on was fine - but we paid 3 times as much for a smaller group speedboat experience with other experiences such as wine tasting. Went and complained at the tour operator at the end of the day for a part refund - who first denied any wrong doing and and later agreed to a full refund after they admitted to their wrong doing. Get your guide needed to do the refund and only did a part refund so we are still short at least €50. Have enquired now multiple times with get your guide why they feel this should only be partly refunded and they have stopped answering my emails for over a week. Very disappointing and unprofessional. Will be using Viator going forward. Still awaiting a response from our correspondence

Works well even when it doesnt. Firstly I used GetYourGuide 10 times to book cruises across Europe in July last year. App was great, plenty of information about the activity, good directions, no issues when the cruise provider had to cancel due weather etc. Then when i went to the US for my birthday i’d had such success with the app that i thought i would book my most ambitious (and costly) cruise in California for myself and 2 friends. Despite us leaving my hotel in San Diego with plenty of time there had been a crash on the interstate 5 slowing traffic to a standstill. With an hour to go but with no hope in making it i called GetYourGuide but was told that - as per the cancellation policy - the cancellation fee was 100%. Luckily your feedback team responded to my complaint and I received a full refund. Way to Go!

Petra and Wadi Rum experience. What an incredible site to visit. Petra is huge and I realise one can spend days here. Wadi Rum also amazing and I highy recommend this. The ride on the jeep and the scenery were amazing. Special thank you to Essam & Ali for making my tour so comfortable and unforgettable.

Disorganised. While trying to use this system in Paris has been very difficult. Turned away when showing voucher not ticket??!! Presented multiple emails from company. Shooed away. Always same response “This is a private company madam I cannot help you” Why instruct download a voucher if a ticket is required? What is point of voucher?

SCAM app!. I booked a tour which prices $430 on this app but a confirmation email from the local partner company printed $350! I asked the local partner company and they said the tour price is just $350. This app offers you much more pricey than the actual price!! Moreover I couldn’t process the booking without setting a pickup address but the local partner company said they can’t pick up the location which I set. And I haven’t received a confirmation email until I made a phone call with the local partner company. Really really bad user experience with this scam app.

Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill Priority Access Guide August 4, 2023. Diana was our guide and I doubt you’d find a more calmly passionate and knowledgeable guide in Rome. Diana’s English was excellent and her obviously authentic interest in Roman history was evident throughout the tour. We could not have enjoyed it more. Highly recommended!

No refund for serious health issues. We have been travelling for 3 weeks and between my friend and I we had booked atleast 15 tours with this company. After severe sunburn in Rome, we realised it would be a serious safety risk to do our mount Vesuvius tour. The tour was in the afternoon, peak sun, in the peak of summer in Europe. We contacted the company to ask if we could refund or store credit the tour. We hadn’t cancelled any of our other tours and there were a lot of theme After explaining we were concerned about heat stroke, skin blistering and skin cancer with hiking up a volcano with no shade in the blistering sun they told us there could not refund or store credit. We are extremely disappointed with the complete lack of understanding and disregard for our health and safety. Especially given the amount of business we have given this company. We do not recommend booking with them.

This is the worst company I have ever used when booking an excursion during the last 30 years. I booked an excursion and when confirming my booking was advised I had paid for a gift voucher which I had to use to book my excursion. On the website I used there was No mention of me purchasing a gift voucher, also no mention of same in their terms and conditions. I sent a copy of their booking website I used to GetYourGuide and requested a copy of their website showing where the details referred to a customer/me buying a gift voucher. Despite numerous email requests I sent asking for the above information, they refuse to respond and I still have not been provided the relevant information. I have recently found their site that deals with gift vouchers and this is a totally different site to the site I used to make and pay for my excursion. The cancellation terms and conditions are not the same when redeeming the gift voucher used to pay for your excursion as they will only provide you with a gift voucher to be used for future bookings, whereas when making a direct purchase, the company refunds your payment to your credit card. As I knew nothing about buying a gift card I believe I should have my payment reimbursed to my credit card. My dealings with this company has proven to be an absolute disaster .

Don’t use this company. Get your guide cancelled my viewing of the Mona Lisa and basically could not be contacted to speak and resolve. We now will miss out. No one told us it was cancelled until we turned up at the location and I even received messages the day prior telling me the booking was in 24 hours and get ready…. only to be told it was cancelled when I arrived there. I have asked for compensation (hotel/taxi/ missed opportunity that was booked months ago) as I was and the company have the audacity to ask why……. Erm…. You ruined our trip and we won’t be able to see the Mona Lisa. We have come from Australia and you cancelled and not told us…….. Don’t use them - just awful.

Amazing camel ride in the Dubai desert. Cannot recommend this trip enough. It was very well organised and ran very smoothly. The camel ride was an experience I won’t forget. There was a lot included in this trip and you had plenty of time to enjoy it all. If you’re thinking about doing this trip just book it. You won’t be disappointed!

Great Service. When I made a mistake booking and cancelled. Emailed get your guide responded immediately and helped me rebook my tour with ease. I thought just emailing them going to be difficult in my surprised, it was sooo easy and rebooked my tour without a problem. She was kind and helpful. Easy use of app. My tour in Marseille was cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. I went into app and looked up what was available. Each activity clearly showed availability so I didn’t waste my time looking at something that was not available. Thanks for helping at short notice.

Fantastic day spent island hopping. Our guide Peter and crew were absolutely first rate! The scenery was spectacular and we were looked after tremendously well. Couldn’t recommend this day trip more highly. The crew were super organised and helpful.

This company is a rip off. They advertised a travel agent to take use on a trip. The person who turned up could barely speak English and had no idea of English context in sentences. The company they advertised was not a tour guide and even a taxi driver would have been much better. We cancelled the trip after 20 minutes. This person did know were he was going and almost drove into several cars. I asked for a refund, but GetYourGuide would only refund 50%. So go with this company at your peril. There are many many better tour operates around.

Touring made easy. Get Your Guide has been a travel buddy of mine for years. I have used it all over the world and I highly recommend it to my friends. It not only provides information on a variety of tours, it allows easy booking, maps, reminders and the ability to provide honest reviews. I will continue to use this app when I travel because of the convenience, affordability and variety of tours on offer.

General opinion. I think the app is really good for people that are looking for tours and things to do They should be really careful though with their refund policy as a lot of things can happen in a trip and you should be able to get your refund in specific cases This is something that disappointed us a lot when we had a persons matter and never took our money back Also a lot of the reviews are not really accurate and the tour guides should be checked more as a lot of them didn’t know the background of monuments we were visiting So when we were asking for more information we had no luck Last but not least drivers should be more careful or checked more as well (I suppose that applies to specific countries ) Not a great value for money hope they will improve things

Great app. We downloaded this app when we went to Thailand and we booked a few tours and they were all really great :) , the customer service from the app people is outstanding . We had to change one booking as I was feeling unwell which was no problem and we wanted to cancel one due to finding they used elephants in their shows , the show people refused to refund our money as it was past the deadline . However the GetYourGuide company refunded us , how amazing is that . So utterly impressed and will only book tours through this app now Thank you

Simply not reliable. Tour operators are not vetted. We had bought skip the line tickets to the St. Mark basilica in Venice 2 months prior to our visit to find out just before we left that the operators did not have the tickets they were selling. Isn’t this the definition of fraude? Of course, it was then too late to book anything else for that day. And the support team was useless, simply confirming what we already knew that we were screwed.

Most useful travel app. We used this app on our recent trip to Italy. All the excursions we booked were so good. We had one that was moved to a later date that we couldn’t make so we cancelled that one and rebooked a different one. They immediately refunded us and we continued to book more with them. Communication with all the vendors was excellent and it was so easy to use. I am recommending this app to everyone. Planning a trip to New York and am already back on the app. Won’t travel without it now.

Vatican, Sistine Chapel and Basillica tour. We very much enjoyed our tour of the Vatican. Our guide, Simona, was excellent and so knowledgeable. Being able to skip the line avoided at least a couple of hours wait in the heat and sun.

Get your guide. Great app to search and purchase activities and entertainment in any areas that your travelling to. Purchase is made in your home currency so you know exactly what the attraction costs you. I’ll be using this app in the future no doubt.

Don’t trust in app reviews. Had several sub-par experience while travelling, and submitted poor reviews for all, but none were published by the app. The app itself works fine, but don’t trust the reviews they publish, as it seems to be selective.

Hidden Terms. While everyone I dealt with in relation to my tour was as helpful as they could be my major beef with this booking platform is that payment was taken before i was provided with 100% confirmation; a confirmation email does need mean you’ll get to do your tour. I booked a zip line tour in San Juan, Puerto Rico in low season. GYG charged my card and sent me a confirmation for the day and time I wanted which incidentally happened to be my birthday. They could not accommodate me because they require a minimum of four people. I tried to get rebooked for the three full days I was there but not enough people joined. Which I understand; they need to cover their costs. My issue with this process is that I got charged when they were not even sure they could accommodate me. In this day in age there is no reason they can hold off on billing a consumer until the minimum number of people are confirmed. VIATOR can do it. GYG? You need to step it up. Also, the employee I was dealing with made me call to get the refund. Not very good service. She should have called their head office for me.

❌ DO NOT USE IT. My husband and I booked the get your guide service on a very brief trip to Egypt. We researched, looked at reviews and finally booked an English speaking tour of the pyramids. We were given a Spanish speaking guide - who didn’t speak a single word of English, who showed us just 2 out of the 5 sites we paid for. As soon as the tour began we contacted get your guide to let them know that this isn’t what we paid for - and they did not help us. It’s been a week and they still haven’t processed refund, in fact they haven’t replied us. Our very special memory of pyramids is forever spoilt! I design apps for a living so I would never leave a negative review but this app deserves it because they promise customers like you and me to have the best experiences of a lifetime. But in fact I don’t think they have even verified the partners they bring on, don’t provide you any support if they don’t deliver what was promised and would leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Scam. I booked tickets in Florence and I’m Rome for the Vatican. In Florence I had to pay for the audio guide at the museum although I already paid for it with GetYourGuide. Scam App - Buyer Beware. The app lists scam tours, and when you contact customer service, they do absolutely nothing to help you. The prey on tourists going to foreign countries, knowing they have no legal recourse.

Booking online. After 48h of being on chat with 4 different people and having entered three different credit cards to pay for the tickets to the football game on March 1 in Buenos Aires, we are no further ahead. Our credit cards are working everywhere else but not on this app We provided a solution and requested the 6 tickets be transferred to a travelling companion to let her pay through her app, but nothing was done to accommodate this request It has been a terrible experience and has consumed a lot of my time. We are travelling to Buenos Aires from Canada and will only be there for 2 nights. So we were looking forward to this experience I would rate 0 but that’s not an option

Excellent way to travel solo. I have used this app for my last holiday in Portugal and the Azores. I like to chill and wander in places, as well as getting to know the history, geology/geography, and culture of the places I visit. THIS is the best way! A half day of learning with like-minded travellers and you get a taste of the area. The you can decide to expand that interest and perhaps visit some spots you found amazing enough to return to. The guides all LOVE their country and have all mean enthusiastic, kind, and fun. I love this app… you won’t be sorry to use it! Enjoy❤️

Sold me fake tickets. Sold me and over 100 other people tickets to an activity that was fully booked. No answer when calling to ask for refund. Many of us travelled over an hour for this activity only to find out the tickets we have weren’t even real, despite day your guide being an authorized seller for the activity. Horrible platform, we should be compensated more than just the ticket price.

Great service for tours. We had a wonderful time booking our tour, on it, and afterwards. The tour itself was wonderful and really well timed as well our tour guide and bus driver was so much fun. Well worth the money to do it. Thanks!

Easy to book, QR codes not always generated. The app and booking things on it is great. But for our Disneyland Paris tickets, no QR codes would generate and when trying to create and account and log in, it keeps saying “error”. Luckily chat support was able to help eventually with QR photos, but only after sending 4 emails with links that kept doing the same thing to open the app, and produced a voucher with no code. Frustrating! Make sure you have data when using.

A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BOOKING YOURSELF!. As a rookie traveler I decided to use this app. Do yourself a favour and book directly through the excursion company or through your hostel, It will save you a fortune and you will have more clear instructions on pick up/ activity detail. This seems like the easier option but it is by far more expensive and if there is an issue a lot more difficult to deal with. ALSO, I received about 90 emails from GYG after my tour was confirmed, I missed vital information about my excursion ( yes I know partially my fault). Would have avoided all of this if I booked directly through tour company !

Very unreliable. I have tried this app several times. I have been burned twice in the past two months . First time in Feb .2024 Memphis Tennessee . I was sold a Hop on Hop off ticket for a day when the tours were not even running . We had to scramble around to find alternatives. Today , March 20 th ,2024 São Paulo Brazil I booked a city tour though GetYourGuide . Apparently the tour was operated through PLL Cabs . Not only did they not show up but the tour operator wouldn’t answer the calls of the GetYourGuide agent .when they finally reached out to me they said I didn’t show up at the hotel lobby. I was here 15 prior to pick up and have spoken to all of the staff which say nobody showed up looking for me . No attempt to “ fix the situation “. They did offer to process my refund. That leaves me looking to find another tour 8 hours before I leave the city . So very disappointing. This app is very hit or miss . I would not recommend them at all .

Wonderful service. I can’t say enough about GYG. I had a problem with a purchase that was non-cancellable due to flooding in the city on the day of the activity. I could not reach the tower due to the weather. They cancelled my purchase and issued a refund. I am truly grateful for the ease of dealing with them and the quick NO HASSLE service.

Horrible experience in Florence — AVOID THIS APP. Arrived early for a Duomo tour and found exactly the entrance for our meeting point (thanks to GPS coordinates) but was sent away by museum staff and told we needed paper tickets not a mobile voucher and to get these from “Entrance 7”. Finally found “Entrance 7” around the corner and across the street, where we attempted to use a kiosk to exchange our mobile vouchers. Of course the machine couldn’t read our vouchers and the “local contact” was an answering machine so the only option was to wait in exactly the half hour line to get tickets we had paid to skip! And by then of course our tour guide would be long gone. Why couldn’t the tour guide have met us outside?? Would have been better off showing up early without a GYG Tour and visited the Duomo on our own. Avoid this app!

Trip ruined. Thank you for ruining my trip, simple refund was all we asked because my mom and I were from out of state and had no car so the safari was a little out of the way for us and we wished to go to the zoo in the city. We called the zoo and they were willing to give it to us, but because we bought from you guys the zoo couldn’t give it to us. I understand your cancellation policy and we should of noticed it sooner but we didn’t. These tickets were almost $130 and we would of bought from you guys again if it was about losing money. So thank you for nothing ! Never booking from this company again , always better to book from the source!

Very good app. Could improve information. We liked using this service for our tour to the Cacahuamilpa Caves and Taxco. It was very convenient for scheduling and paying. We’d like to address only one thing. When we arrived to the point of meeting (Sheraton María Isabel), there was no clarity on where to wait and how would we recognize our car or van. The app does give you the phone number to contact the service provider, which was indeed what we did, and it helped. But we had a brief moment of stress at the beginning.

App okay but not intuitive; customer support awful. I found the app surprisingly not user friendly and poorly integrated with web. I had to reset password multiple times for no obvious reason, and it is not at all obvious how to save a reservation in your wallet. I gradually figured it out, but it is not a favorite app Worse is customer support. I had a sick kid a few hours before departure and saw at least three different numbers to call. I finally found the right one and am pretty sure I was hung up. I called back and was told to send an email asking for a refund. Why do I not expect a response? I don’t love Viator, but I wish I had used them instead of trying this operation. Maybe customer support will surprise me!

Very happy with GYG. This app is easy to use & full of information; the vouchers showed up on my phone w no problems. I had to change a booking right after making it, & the process was simple with no penalties. I just used the first tour booked for my trip in Italy-the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s Basilica. The tour was well planned, our guide Jennifer was wonderful and it was clear being led by her was a far better choice than our original plan of going on our own. Kudos all round!

Terrible customer service. Booked a spa day with my kids while on vacation in Montreal. The site directed me to buy the tickets through Get your guide. Tickets were available to purchase from 0-99 years old but when we got to the spa they allowed anyone 17 years old and older. After calling the customer service many many times and a few emails, getting an international call bill of $50 I finally got reimbursed teo weeks later. The customer service hung up on me twice and they were not helpful at all. I had to push to escalate the issue since I had waisted $200 on tickets I clearly didn’t use. Terrible customer service!!!

AMAZING app. We used this app in our two weeks vacation in Russia & Turkey. Not only their tours were great tours with the tour guides, but their 24 hrs customer service was awsome. Their responds to every question and concern was second to none. Everything we booked through them, including our last minute booking worked like a clock work. A huge thank to them for our many tours we took and enjoyed. This app is a must to have in your phone, and is less expensive than your hotel’s tour.

SELLS TOURS THAT DO NOT EXIST. This is a HORRIBLE COMPANY. I am currently on my honeymoon and they sold me a ticket to a tour that did not exist because it was already sold out. When I discovered the tour was not real, they refused to refund my money without “confirming with a local vendor” and did not offer any replacement tour. They kept my on hold for about 30 minutes and told me it was “company policy” not to allow customers to speak to supervisors. So now I have had to adjust our entire honeymoon schedule due to the lost time. SHAME ON YOU, Get Your Guide. The best part of the whole experience? That tour is still listed as available on their website. So they’re still selling tickets to a sold out tour. And it’s posted under three separate listings! So you can’t tell which tours are real and which ones are fake.

Great company. I was trying to book a tour in the Bahamas (Bimini) but the website was stating that the place I was going to be staying at was to far for the tour guide to drive to pick me up. I reach out to “Get Tour” by email and they was able to reach out to the tour guide individual and get confirmation that they do indeed pick up from my location. It took a little while as expected because the contact was being done via email, But none the least it was done. I got the information I needed and they updated their website with the information as soon as they got confirmation. When I went back into book the tour I was able to input my location without the error message and everyone was happy. They are the best! All good except. Looking to book an activity? This app has them all. Problem is the filters are not very effective at filtering what you want. You can enter your date you need for an activity but when you actually click on the activity, the date you entered is not taken into account. You have to look on the activity providers dates available. Want to do the Coliseum underground in Rome? Don’t count on the filter. The app will get you close to what you want if you type it in the search to begin with.

worst experience ever in Paris!!. I booked a birthday dinner cruise for my best friend and I We are on vacation so we took an uber to the address sent in my receipt we were dropped of at a location and there was no signs to stairs indicated on the receipt so after walking around for over 30 mins we missed the cutoff for the cruise. still lost we called and no one answered i messaged the chat room and was told they cannot do anything for me and suggest i buy a new ticked for over $80 more than the ones i bought. i am so devastated i spent $150 on those tickets. I would not encourage anyone to do business with a company that doesn’t care about their customers. They never even offered a discount they wanted is to pay for a more expensive cruise how cruel!!

Great day, long day, fun day!. Shane was our tour guide on the white cliffs of Dover, Dover Castle, and Canterbury tour we were picked up at Earls Court which was closer to our hotel. They were a touch late, but we caught up and didn’t miss anything on the tour. Everything was explained! Where the best place to start on the tours. Where to eat and how to maximize our time so we could see everything and still be back on time!! Wonderful team Shane and our driver!!

No refund policy or sensible customer service. I bought two tickets to the Met Museum in NYC. It was only after I bought them that I learned they would not in fact grant me entry, and that a time slot also had to be reserved. They would not refund a single bit of my $50 reservation, even though they provided no value to me at all. Will never use again. The name of the ticket is for “entry”. I was cautious of this, even going through to read the “full description” tab. Nowhere on the “full description” of the reservations I purchased, did it state that a time slot must be chosen. I would understand if you were unable to refund me because my reservation kept others from going to the museum, but it didn’t. Maybe $50 isn’t a lot to most of your world traveling customers but it is a lot to me.

Poor customer service. I booked an excursion in Seattle through this service and was double charged. My receipts and all the paperwork for the excursion showed 3 tickets for 150 but then I got a text from my bank saying they pulled 300. When I called customer service they mentioned that this was a system error and they were aware it was double charging some customers. Immediately after hanging up the phone, I got an email saying they were sorry that I accidentally double booked an activity but they aren’t able to refund me the extra 150 they took due to the return policy. DO NOT USE THIS APP TO BOOK ACTIVITIES. Otherwise you could be double charged and then blamed for it.

Web fraud. I’m very disappointed with the website, I search for things to do here in Perth Australia, and this web offer different options like this water park but the web never shows or give directions, about how far away is this park. This web just says not transportation, no meals. Before I book and the web charged me the visit to the water park; I searched really hard to fin the real address, And is when I found out that is 22 miles from the city of Perth Australia, and every one needs to own o rent a vehicle to be able to get this park. Since I’m a tourist and I tried to get there by Uber, but that’s 3 times more expensive that the ticket to get into the water park. So I’m reporting to my bank this web package fraud.

DO NOT BOOK AIRPORT TRANSFERS ON THIS APP!!!. Awesome app, I love it but the airport transfer companies take advantage of it! They claim they will be out there with a sign, they are never there until you call them. They run on an on call basis so they don’t have to tie up drivers holding signs. So your standing out there like an idiot looking for your driver for 20 minutes while reputable companies actually have drivers out with signs. BE CAREFUL! This happened to me by Angkor TK travel and tours in Cambodia who puts there transfers on this app. Do not use them!!

Filter by rating no longer accurate. I used GetYourGuide over all other search engines because the filter options were accurate. It used to show me all the 5 star options first, in order of the most reviews to the least. Then 4.9, 4.8, etc. Now it’s all mixed all over the place, a 5 star one can be on the first and third page, with 4.6 and other random ratings in between. Whoever made this change- that is a horrible idea. Keep it simple. Now I have to look at every single tour and it is horribly inconvenient. That was the best thing about you, GetYourGuide. Why did you have to change it 😭

Five Stars - Best Tour Guide for The Louvre!. Wow…we were not expecting the friendliness, expertise and passionate tour guide, that is…until we met Merve! My wife and I felt like we took a Master Class in “How Best to Experience The Louvre”!! Merve is passionate about art and provided an encapsulated master class on artists and mediums to create the works of art experienced in the Louvre. DO NOT BUY DAY OF PASSES!. We bought tickets to the Nashville zoo through this app cus it had good reviews! It let us choose our time, day and all of that! We paid and were super excited, however, when we went to see our tickets they were “waiting for validation” and said we would see the passes in 2 HOURS! Well, we were going to the zoo in a couple minutes so it didn’t work! The app did not say that it would take that long to load, and then, when we got to the zoo, we were able to talk to a person and they were kind and let us in, but it’s now 5 hours after we purchased the tickets and they are still not loaded in the app. DO NOT BUY THINGS YOU NEED TO USE THE SAME DAY!!

Good when works. We used this app to book tours and entry tickets to our trip to Italy. The app worked well and if you do a good job picking the tours you will do well. The entry tickets sell for many times the actual face value. Our one horrible experience was that we booked a “skip the line” ticket to the Vatican and the booking was not honored when we got there. I contacted the company via the chat and they refunded me but we were stuck with our daily plans ruined and no recourse. If there was an issue with the booking I would have expected they make an effort to reach out and try to help with an alternative.

Buyer Beware. Get Your Guide, This is my first time using your company and my booking was cancelled. I usually use Viator exclusively. The booking was cancelled due to weather. I have checked the weather there is no inclement weather in the forecast and other companies are still fulfilling their tours. That’s beside the point. Clearly something is wrong or broken at Get Your Guide. My biggest issue is that you quickly processed my payment but when you cancel it can take up to 14 days for a refund. If you need capital as a company just say that. Don’t take my money then cancel for fraudulent reasons and then make the consumer wait for a refund two weeks. Bad business. I will never use Get Your Guide again.

Intentionally misleading. This app was recommended to me in an pop up ad for the SF zoo when going to their website to buy tickets. The ad made it seem like you could avoid the line and buy tickets to the zoo. What I ended up buying was a voucher for a ticket for the zoo. After leaving the line I was told it was a voucher. Other people told me the same thing happened to them and they waited in line twice. I was not going to waste my time and tried to get a refund. I talked with their customers service for over an hour and they passed it off like they would help me and they never got back to me. This was one of the worst experiences to go through when you are trying to have a nice time.

The best!. Get your guide is simply the bast app to plan your adventures when you are traveling. They will go way out of their way to make events happen for you. They offer live chat and even phone conversations (in many languages) to help you plan everything. For us, a specific event was sold out and they made it happen anyway! Get your guide made our trip fantastic instead of just good! Thank you, GYG, for all your help

Terrible business. The only job, this company has, is to charge you for the tour! I had 12 tours booked for my two weeks vacation. Two days before my trip the schedule payment got fail for the first tour and later for the rest. I tried multiple credit & debit cards, all failed. It means it automatically cancelled all the tours. I contacted customer service at least six times and they confirmed it won’t get cancel or resolve it in 24 hours,… it’s a shame that this incompetent company even did not try to fix the issue! I cancelled the rest of them and start booking via TripAdvisor & Viator during my trip,… don’t trust them at all. They can destroy your vacation.

Do not book with this company - if I could have I wouldn’t even give it a rating of one.. The titles and descriptions are deceiving. We bought tickets that were titled “desert safari/camel caravan/sand boarding/atv and desert bbq” this was at a place called Al Faqqa It was a complete joke!! It was filthy to start. Second they said the ATV was extra and not included. Third the camel caravan was only sitting on a camel and walking to a photo opt. The dune bashing was only through the sand to the camp and the sand surfing was not worth it. Instead of a half hour for each activity they expected you to just walk around the desert or buy things from them. This is not what we came for! This was our last excursion and the one we were looking the most forward to in the UAE and it totally ruined it for us. What began as a trip of beauty and high respect for the people ended with us realizing there are scammers everywhere - do not fall for this one!!! Al Faqqa is terrible and should be shut down. Get Your Guide should be ashamed of themselves for the description and stop all tours to this place.

Dependable. We took a trip to SE Asia with many side trips. We booked those trips with Get Your Guide. We found that the providers of their services were were great. They communicated before the trip and were reliable. The trips were just as advertised and the guides were great. Our friends on the trip booked with another popular site and were very disappointed with the communication and reliability. We will definitely book through Get Your Guide.

Luis Cadena. The biggest scam ever !!! I had booked a tour with a camel safari in Cabo San Lucas, MX. someone was suppose to pick me up, but they didn’t say at what time. When I called they told me that we’ve missed the pick up and they couldn’t go back for me. I tried to rebook another activity and kept going back and forward from Get your guide to the tour place. Long story short, they scammed me out of $220 USD and they stated that it was my fault for not knowing at what time they were going to pick me up and that I’ve lost the money. There was no email with the itinerary they just stated that there was a call 3 days ago where they stated they gave me the pick up address. Not recommend the app or the site!!!! PLEASE DONT GET SCAMMED !!!!

Citywide tour with Josephine. Josephine led our tour of the Louvre today, covering some highlights. This was second time through the Lourve, and this was far superior than the first time, which I did on my own. I liked the more focused exploration of the art. Josephine was engaging, funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions. The 1.5 hours was just the right amount of time. This was far better an any audio. I would highly recommend it, and with Josephine.

Dale. I booked three activities in Italy. The first was for a food and wine tour in Rome. When we arrived, our guide said that we two reservations for two people, and told me let the Get Your Guide people know what happened and get a refund. They refused my refund because I didn’t cancel it 24 hours in advance, even though I didn’t find out about the double booking until the night of the event. Beware of this scam!! After I appealed the decision not to refund my money for the double booking, Get Your Guide reviewed my case, and gave me a full refund. Thank you, Get Your Guide.

Never disappointed!. Get your guide came through with every promise. All the details were clear and easy to understand. We knew the details of every excursion, easy to find pick-up points, your voucher is in the app, and more! Even during not great weather when some travel groups would cancel, get your guide partners came through while making sure we were safe! Love this app!

Great Value. This Bus Tour is great and good value. Some of the Ticket Collectors are better than others and so it can make it more or less enjoyable. One ticket allows you to get on 2 different tours. A lot of information about the history of about 30 or more sights are included, and along the way, you can get off, eat and shop, then get back on from 9am til 10pm at night. They offer 2 day passes as well. However, you are allowed to get off:on specific stops so you will need to pay attention to that detail. This is a no brainer! My only complaint is that they are not clear about where to get on the bus- so that makes it frustrating. But once you get on- the fun starts. Also, as it gets later in the day, there is much o traffic so they have to adjust their a schedule. I would definitely recommend this tour - it is a great way to learn and explore Madrid.

WORST!!!!. I requested to book a ticket for a American dream mall but this app directed me to American mall. With in a min I reached them via email and via chat. But no response. Instead of providing the customer service number of the app, their ticket only had mall number. When I tried to some how locate their number and call. The customer service person was not even ready to address my case. She told you booked on the same day. With out even acknowledging what went wrong, she hung up the call twice. So bad and I have never experienced this this worst customer service in my entire life!! And I have never heard of customer service hanging up the call!!!!

New Orleans Cemetery Tour. My daughter and I booked a last minute cemetery tour with this company. We were a bit skeptical as we only found them online and didn’t have time to really compare with others and the price seemed too good to be true! Literally almost half the price of the hotel recommended tour company. To our surprise, we met our tour guide Toast who was so personable and knowledgeable that it really made for a great experience. I highly recommend!

Easy to use and lots of options. Using this app has been great. We found the prices to be some of the best or in line with all the other apps and companies. Lots of options to choose from. They were very communicative, provided easy directions for meeting locations, and always informed us of any potential changes. The companies that they worked with has also provided good services.

Disappointed. Scheduled four different tours with this company. Tried to pay for two of them and I could not make the payment because my credit cards would not be accepted. It was not my bank, but it was GetYourGuide that was the issue. I contacted customer service. We had such a communication problem because both accents were totally non-understandable to each other. I must’ve repeated myself 10 times and to no avail. They couldn’t resolve my problem or understand it. I ended up having to cancel two of my tours and rescheduling them with a different vendor. Very frustrating.

Worst tour/excursion company ever. As a foreign visitor trying to book excursions “on the fly” we booked an Eiffel tower dinner through this company after multiple attempts due to poor cell coverage, while in Italy. Received confirmation email with confirmation number and reservation number only to find out in Paris that though this company took our money they never booked the dinner! The confirmation #’s had been canceled & it was too late to re-book or even get tickets to go up the tower!! Also even though booked via google you need their app on mobile device to get mobile pass (which was very difficult with poor cellular coverage while traveling) though they send email confirmation. Very disappointing!!! Still have not got money back as promised! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Unclear terms. I bought tickets to the Cathedral of Sevilla while at lunch using the WiFi in the restaurant. After I purchased the tickets for an entrance that was less than an hour away, I received a receipt and a notice that my confirmation and ticket would be emailed with 48 hours. If that’s the case, why allow me to purchase with such a short window? The email was delivered two hours later, too late to be able to use it for the specified time. Further, I don’t understand the pricing. I was charged 36€ for two adult tickets (no audio guide, no tour), while the cathedral sells tickets for 9€ for adults and 4€ for students. There was no student pricing available online. What value is being added here? Why would I ever buy a ticket with this app?

Glitch on adding pick up location.. My pick up location was not saved repeatedly. So I missed my your. Waiting outside cold for 1hour and found out the host didn’t know my location. It took multiple urgent calls and text with help center and the host to get the next tour. And then same thing happened with the next booking. Took many calls and text to make sure we get the tour in time. Since then I don’t use this app if pick up service is included in the tour. But generally good and convient to use.

Great way to book and plan. I used this app 3 times in Europe. It was very easy to find activities and then have the tickets right there in the app. The app has the meeting points and location linked to maps so it is very easy to get there. You can use Apple Pay. Everything is convenient on the app or your calendar. It was great for booking a last minute tour of the castle in Prague. If you are in a busy area and want last minute tickets, use this app I highly recommend it.

Quick results. While visiting Lisbon Portugal we wanted to go to the Pena Castle in Sintra. Reading a bit on the park itself, I saw an ad for ‘skip the line’ ticketing thru Get Your Guide. I ordered the tickets, took an Uber to the park entrance and walked thru after showing my virtual tickets- all painless and rapid. We are now in Athens, and I have gotten my City Sightseeing (hop-on hop-off) tickets through GYG and again it was easy, smooth and quick. The search function is very good, requiring only a few keywords or parts of description to deliver results. All in all a very useful and useable application.

Bad customer service. Bought 2 tickets for Arc Triumph in Paris that included River Cruise. Upon arrival to the Arc, one of the tickets was invalid. There were other people at the Arc that had the same problem. Contacted Getyourguide and asked for a refund. Was told that it would take a few days to get the refund but that they would process it. A few days later, I was refunded about 17 USD, but I paid over 64 Euros! I demanded a full refund and Getyourguide stopped responding to my emails. They also refused to exchange the activity. Unfortunately I had to continue booking a few more tours through getyourguide while continuing my trip in Europe due to the lack of better options.

Easy & Fun. We took a self-guided audio tour of Charlotte, NC because we didn’t really know any history of the city. The tour was great! We were able to start when we wanted and go at our own pace, stopping if we needed to - such as stopping to get a couple souvenirs at a cute little shop, that we likely would not have found without this tour! We look forward to using this type of tour on our future trips!

Horrible experience. DO NOT USE GET YOUR GUIDE!! I booked 7 activities for my Florida trip. The payment failed for six out of the seven activities. The only activity that had the payment went through is closed on that booking day. We had to experience a lot of troubles to reschedule it. Also, I had canceled one of the activities, but the payment still went through, and I have to contact the activity provider to cancel it on their end. Some activities failed the payment but the provider still see my booking without any issue, it was just I could not get a virtual ticket. I spent tons of time on resolving one issue after another during the trip. It was horrible!

Caveat Emptor. My first experience with is site was some kind of scam. We ordered a boat tour and brewery tour. The site accepted our reservation, then directed us to a walking distance meetup with the boat at it’s dock. We arrived to find the boat and brewery across the street from each other. However, we were not permitted to board. It was explained to us, that we had not booked the tour, but had booked third party vouchers for this tour. The captain explained that we would have to go to the third party travel office( across town) to obtain the correct pass. Although we arrived before departure, we could not board. After investigating the fine print, we needed to board a different boat at a different dock miles from the meeting location. Scam!

Don’t book in advance! Beware!. If there is a chance you and your kids might wake up sick the morning of your event, do not book with this company. We called first thing in the morning. No empathy. No refunds. $150 gone. We learned the hard way but still didn’t take our two and six-year-old on the dolphin tour sick as it would’ve ruined it for the other customers not to mention it wouldn’t have been fun for us. We will NOT use this app again to book. Horrible experience. Extremely disappointing. They wanted me to submit a document showing someone from my party had been hospitalized for a refund (which we hadn’t!)! They are out for your money.

Was charged for a boat cruise that didn’t occur. I payed for 2tickets for a Windella boat cruise that didn’t take place and I was charged for it. It was a very bad winter day and I called the local tour numerous times to inquire if the tour will still hold but no response, I got there and no one was there, I called them again numerous times but it was going to voice mail then I called GetYourGuide they tried calling Windella but no response. GetYourGuide believes the boat cruise went through because they didn’t receive an email that says otherwise. They refuse to refund, reschedule or help at all with the matter. As a customer I am very dissatisfied and I can’t recommend GetYourGuide to anyone else ever.

Fast and Kind Help with Full Refund. I love GYG. They have awesome booking options in my country (France) for a wide variety of activities. I ran into an issue with one of my bookings that the host company refused to refund me for. I contacted GYG and they quickly responded to my refund request and returned it to my card in full. They totally didn’t have to do that and it meant so much to me that they did. Will definitely book through them again:)

Helpful - But Maybe Add Original Description to Booking?. This has been an absolutely amazing resource for booking my trip! So glad there is a review system for excursions. But it was a bit frustrating that I couldn’t reach the original itinerary/photos etc. from my booking (instead I had to search for it by name and pretend like I was trying to book again to see details… could there be a link to each activity’s original post in the “My Bookings” area? Thanks!)

Terrible - No Heart. Mistakenly booked at the Sky View instead of the Space Needle. Booked it in the morning for a 2:15 viewing, walked up to the entrance of the Space Needle and that’s when we were told and realized it was the wrong place. Called customer service and left a message about a refund and no call back. But did get a very quick email response, but no go for a refund. They have a 24 hr cancellation policy which really screwed me since I booked it 4 hours before our reservation. Just trying to do something fun for my wife & daughter before we fly home. They have no heart and just stick to their 24 hr policy. I don’t recommend using them, they just take your money - too bad, so sad!!

Nice app/ customer service is terrible. During our trip an activity was rescheduled by the tour company, but we were only informed of it 30 mins before the start time wasting our whole morning. The tour group asked us to contact the app and reschedule for the next day at 6 pm. After that, we received inconsistent responses via email and chat from 6 different representatives on wether the rescheduled tour was viable. I.e a text saying we can reschedule, then a follow email saying it was unavailable, followed by a new conversation with a new representative in a different time zone where we had to explain everything all over again only to receive the same text and email response as before. Finally we gave up and canceled.
