BLACK CUTSCENCES!!. When I try to play a cutscene, the screen is black. I thought it was only happening to me, but then I asked my sister and she said it was the same for her. I scrolled through some reviews, and a lot of people were also annoyed from the black cutscences. Please fix it! I missed some of favorite parts because of this glitch. Overall the game was great though!

Great game. Creepy atmosphere, just like the first one. Nice bonus content. Hops are interactive lists. Beyond objects to find in every scene of the main game once you get to the other world. You can tell that a lot of work went into this game. Puzzles are rather easy but creative.

Issue with cutscenes. Love the game so far, but the cutscenes go dark on me as well. Please fix. I hope to play the full game 😕

Black cut scenes are definitely anissue.. This takes away so much enjoyment from the game and the star rating will go upmif this is fixed, because Iam enjoying everything else.

Love this game, but now the cutscenes are black. This game is one of my favorites, but now the cutscenes are not working. I have already sent a request to Big Fish to fix it. Edit: Sorry everyone. I sent a fix request, but no one really got back to me. Only offered to let me purchase a new game. I’m really disappointed at Big Fish’s decline in quality customer service.

Loved it and stray souls dollhouses. I really enjoyed this game but, it left me at the ‘cliff hanger’ I live on a very limited income. Although $6.99 may not be much for allot of players, $5.00 pays for one of my monthly meds. I did continue with stray souls dollhouse, because it was only $1.99. The problem with games for me once you finish the game, that’s it. I don’t replay them. This is the only reason it didn’t get 5 stars from me.

First time’s a charm. This was the first game of this type that I ever played. I was enamored! I really love the creepiness of it. To be honest, I don’t know if it’s just because I was new to this type of game that it was so wonderful, or if it really was that wonderful. I’ve played many of this type since then and I’m starting to see that some are good and some are not. This one continues to be my favorite, but probably just because it was my first.

Great Sequel to a Great Game. Stray Souls was an awesome game and this sequel takes it a step further. The atmosphere is creepy, the storyline dark and interesting, with just enough twists and turns to keep you on your toes. If you like dark HO/mystery games, give it a try.

Really fun. The only reason I did not give this game five stars is the grey screen you have to stare at between scenes. Takes a long time to load.

CUTSCENE ISSUE!. I really love and enjoy playing this game. I love the puzzles, the stories, the characters and I really enjoyed the soundtrack. I’ve been having this issue on my sixth GEN iPad mini where the screen will go dark during cut scenes. I read other people are having this issue as well, so if you’re reading this review and you’re having the same issue, please write a review about it and report the issue so that we can get them to fix this.

Best game. I played this like almost 38 times

Would love this game but…. Just like other reviews, the cut screens just go dark. You can hear what’s going on but that’s all. As anyone knows, the cut screens are the best part of these games. That’s where all the suspense is played out. I was on the free trail but I won’t be purchasing the full game because of this. I’m really disappointed.

Best one in a while. Fun puzzles. I liked that the hint button was actually helpful if you get really stuck. I would recommend.

Stray souls 2. So disappointing FIX THE GAME all the info between scenes was black. The bonus chapter wouldn’t let me pick up last dice So I never got to see the ending. So not worth my time. VERY DISAPPOINTING

The graphics in this- no, all of Big Fish’s games are impressive, after playing at least like 5 different Big Fish hidden object games, every single puzzle is unique, the only puzzle that is similar is the find the object. This is by far my most favorite game, if this review does not make you play this game, I don’t know what will.

Lost souls dolls. I really liked playing both of the doll games both games kept me going until my husband mentioned what time it would be I haven't really checked in to games to see if there are any other games that are like the lost souls

Stray souls. I enjoyed playing this game. Main story a bit too short for me but quite a lengthy bonus game. Easy to know what to do next once you got an item. Puzzle is reasonably medium difficulty. Overall is a pleasurable game. I will play again in the future. Btw: How do i get the traveler achievement? For reaching the flooded island?

Excellent and highly recommended. This is Big fish back to top form. A fantastic game, well worth the money. It was challenging and fun to play, with good hidden object scenes (but not too many of them) fun puzzles and lots of great scenes to explore. Advanced level was perfect, allowing you to turn off the hints and sparkles. There were additional items to find and good achievements to unlock. Good story, great graphics, good length- thanks for an excellent game. Can't wait for the next chapter.

One of my favourites!. This game is fantastic! It has everything a game needs to have, AWESOME storey, great graphics, not too many HOGs, a variety of puzzles with different degrees of difficulty, controls are perfect (no multiple tapping), & a bonus chapter that tells how it all began! Only minor thing that would make this game better than it already is (which is pretty hard) is a back button, instead of tapping the bottom of the screen to go back. It isn't that touchy though, so it didn't make too much of a difference. Love this series and this sequel especially! Please make a third chapter somehow!

Cutscenes don’t work. Pretty good game only problem is the cut scenes are just black screens don’t know if it’s a bug I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that fixes it didn’t

Stray Souls 2: Too short but a great game. Super excellent game and I really love the interactive characters. Wish it could have lasted just a bit longer. The ending seemed to had been reached too abruptly. Nevertheless, one could follow and understand the storyline. Can't wait to see if there will be a Stray Souls 3.

LOVED THE ORIGINAL?... YOU'LL LOVE THE SEQUEL!. Does everyone agree clowns are creepy? Stay Souls is counting on it! Good and evil square off once again as our hero, the hand made doll made by Kim Hunt, goes head to head with the demented clown once again. The storyline, theme and format of the game are the same as you collect figures throughout the game that reveals the story within the dollhouse. Well-paced, unique graphics, solid HOS, and enjoyable mini-games. I expected the sequel to have a bit more innovation given the recent amazing creative advances in the adventure game genre, but the developers stuck with a successful formula... And it still works! If you don't mind the element of surprise being gone (who can forget the first cut scene in Part 1 when our hero comes out of the box!), you won't regret buying the sequel. The bonus game even has us revisiting the Hunt's hometown, as the journey of the dolls is traced to the sequel, so some of Part 1 was re-cycled... but it was good to see the original graphics and what made Stray Souls such a solid HO Game.

Beautiful but short. I loved the first stray souls and this one is even more beautiful, I just stared at every scene... but it was just far too short and the games were too easy. I also would've liked to see more HO but of course if the game were longer we would have more. Grab it on sale just to see how great it looks.

Great game, great story, CLEVER!. This was an absolute standout! The story was engaging, the puzzles were clever, graphics (especially the cut scenes) were fantastic. If you're tired of feeling duped by other "hidden object" games, you will not be disappointed in this one!!!

Creepy Good!. HOS games are predictable, but the creeped out storyline and hard working puzzles win my rating. Worth the money and I have no complaints. It's been a while since I've found a game this good to play. The artwork is believable - another plus for Big Fish on this one. I hope they keep quality like this on the come back.

Amazing graphics, special effects & solid HOS's!!!. Great sequel to the series, big thanks to the developers for putting in the little details like adding sound to the critters within the HOS's (touching a mouse will make him squeak). I enjoyed most of the mini games too! Wonderful gaming experience even though it was a tad bit easy. Wish I would've known about morphing objects at the beginning. Found one by mistake after it was too late to return to that area. Ended up with 28/30

Great game play & story line!. If you liked the first you will love the second game. The bonus really was creative by taking us back to where it all began. A nice walk down memory lane. I also loved how it didn't end all happy happy joy joy.

Pretty Good with one exception. I can't go back to collect all Beyond objects. And the Flooded Island? All it says is Bonus Chapter instead of Play so even though I have 2-3 achievements left, I have to restart as a new player? Not worth the $5. $3 maybe. Please fix because I don't feel like getting all the achievements over again.

No beyond objects. I have been playing hog games for so long now. I bought the full version of this game when it was on sale. It's going great except there are no morphing Beyond Objects even though it's listed as an achievement. Can't find anything in the strategy guide either :-/ any help???

Fantastic game. Great job big fish! Graphics are great, games keeps you interested, story line is interesting and I love how well it ties in with part 1! I will be looking forward to the next chapter of stray souls! This is DEF worth the money!

I also noticed that they really test these games because there are very few glitches. This game had everything, including a teleport map (we love those) and labeled inventory. Great puzzles, not the same old ones! Lots to do! Great graphics as well. A good hint system and a strategy guide too. I wish that the game was a bit longer; that's how good it was! It did have a bonus chapter as well. Also can you believe I am not (for once) getting hysterical about the RATS, and I didn't deduct a star? Maybe Alawar makes them kind of cute so you don't freak out! That doesn't mean I want them in games, though. Anyway please give us more quality games like this! We have waited so patiently for them!

You have to pay to play - Bummer. I don't think this is worth the time to download ( which took forever due to the size). The in game sound didn't work and then I was quickly prompted to pay $6.99 to move forward. The game is fun and the graphics are nice but I don't think I'll try another one of these unfortunately.

Stray souls. It was a fun game to play, it was easy enough to follow but, still had challenges. I did enjoy the game's quality, graphics and storyline. Thanks for making a game that doesn't have blocks, running through the whole game or matching! Not that I don't like them but, not in every game. Make more like this one.

Little disappointed. I loved the first game Stray Souls: Dollhouse and couldn't wait for the sequel. I've played the trial and was disappointed. The sequel isn't as dramatic as the first, the mini games are EXTREMELY simple, and there aren't nearly as many hidden object scenes as the first game. I purchased the game anyway, and hope it will get better. But so far it's not as good as the first. I rated it the 3 stars purely based on storyline, scenery, and graphics.

Fun game. I really enjoyed the game. Challenging yet not super difficult. I learned quickly to skip the mini puzzles - just didn't enjoy them and they had nothing to do with the outcome of the game. I thoughts clowns were creepy; this one was extra creepy!

Lots of fun, addicting!. Creative, bright graphics, many puzzles and HOGs, interactive map, hint button very quickly recharges, lengthy bonus chapter. Suggestion: the Strategy Guide should be within the game.

Creepy. I have other games in this series, and they are all creepy. The game itself is rather simple and not much of a challenge. The map is only far. And there is a glitch in the sound. Even when you turn off the sound in the options, it WILL come on unexpectedly when changing scenes. I'll pass on this one. Who told the games developers that dark is fun? It's not!

Please fix. I have both games and I purchased the collectors game . Every time I log onto to play I have to start from the beginning .... Re enter my name and repurchase the games . I really like these game but wish I could complete them . Having to start over every game .... I almost want to delete these games and never purchase games from you again . Please fix them ..... Great game. This was a lot of fun, couldn't put it down. It certainly wasn't the hardest, never needed to go look for help and I often will wimp out and get assist when I get frustrated. Graphics pretty good, neat creepy story line.

Excellent!!. Graphics, Voice Overs, Storyline, HOS--All excellent. Guide different. Liked it once I got used to it. Guide not in game per se, but liked it dropping down. Well worth the $. Seemed a little short though. Maybe it's because it was so enjoyable!

Top fun again! All white people again!. It's a great sequel. That doesn't mean that it is perfect. The graphics are always amazing. I am impressed again with the graphics and the well matched music. The design of the locks is always interesting and deserves special attention. Very creative. The amount of detail makes the game just fun to look at. And, of course, the cast is all white people again! That's just boring The game is fantasy but does the cast have to be fantasy too?

Stray Souls 2: Great sequel!. I loved the first game and replayed it a number of times. I had long given up on a squel but there it was! I'm playing on an iPad mini and bought the CE during this weekend's sale. This is certainly more than a HOG, which I overdosed on over several years. Thus far it seems to be a nice mix of mini-puzzles, hidden objects, and a good story line, along with sharp graphics. Btw, there ARE beyond objects and achievements.

One of the best H.O.S. Games by far!. Amazing ART, Gratifying Puzzles and interesting storyline made this game one of my favorites. I have been addicted to H.O.S. (Hidden Object Scene) games for over a year and this games has it all! Big Fish Games is great because it brings the best HOS games to your attention and let's you try out the games to see if they are fun for you personally. I've sampled many games and purchased many games and this game is one of my favorite investments!

Finally a good one!. I really liked this one! It was great finally having one that only had about 5 hidden object scenes during the whole game. I love these games but hate when there is a H.O.S every other location. It is no fun and the game never feels animated or like it flows. In this game you were always moving and I really enjoyed it. However i did feel like it was a little shorter compared to others but thats not too big of a deal. More like this one please!

Awesome!. This is the type of game that I love: great visuals, puzzles, story, voiceovers. The past few games that were released were disappointing - hope to see more like Stray Souls in the future.

Excellent game!. I am picky about my games and I have to say this one is excellent! The graphics are great, the storyline is engrossing (and it makes sense!) and the gameplay is smooth. The storyline doesn't lead you around by the nose like some games do. You actually have multiple choices about where to go. I especially like that the game-loading and transitions are so fast. None of that waiting around for the next scene to load. (I just deleted a game because of slow transitions. Are you listening Big Fish?) I highly recommend this game - there is nothing not to like about it.

🚸🏫✈️Great continuation of series!!🚉🚒⚠️. Well done! I made sure to play the first game again before I attempted this one. Absolutely loved it- thanks to all who had a hand in both games. The character voices were familiar from other games & I think the voice for the doll was spot on!! Scenery was good-so colorful. It could be that I was on my iPad Air but I also have a 4th gen iPad and it was really good on that too. Looking forward to see what you have next!!!

IT'S NOT BEAUTIFUL BUT??... Not the most beautiful scenery in this one but the first one wasn't lovely to look at either. It was a good game though. You have the same little helper as last time, once you find his eye. Voice overs, strategy guide not the greatest but do able. Look for morphing objects. Will get back later. Snooper-158

Good game-too short. I would have given this game more stars but I felt ripped off that I paid $6.99 for such a short game. Even with the bonus chapter it was way too short!!! One a positive note the game was fun, and kept me entertained for the short time it took to finish it.

Just as awesome as the first!. I did recognize places in this one from the first Stray Souls, but only in bonus content. The graphics are awesome, and I didn't experience any bugs whilst playing it. The Walkthrough helped me out, too. I highly recommend this hidden object game!

Excellent game!. The first one was good but this one was even better! Please make more games like this one. They are perfect, not too hard but not too easy either.

Black cut scenes. Game doesn’t work. Paid to play and only see black screens during cut scene! Disappointed!

A worthy sequel. Great storyline, interesting play and near flawless execution. You want creepy? How about a killer clown that steals souls? Ick. I hate clowns! And this one illustrates why so many of us do. The character is used very well as the villain. If you loved - to- hate the clown in Stephen King's brilliant 'It,' this has a slight resemblance.

Stray Souls Series 2. I played the first stray soul series and enjoyed it , this one I've started the trial version and it looks to be even better than the first one. Great graphics with a more modern up to date animation clips. The puzzles are good and the story line is easy to follow. Love it so far . Will get back at the end of the game and follow up.

Just finished the game. I enjoyed it a lot. Graphics are good, Fun mini games, HO were bright and actually interesting to look at. I really got into the story on this game. It kept me guessing. I'm getting ready to start the bonus game. Can't wait. I am hoping it goes into a little more detail about what's up with the clown.

Fun and engaging. Keeps me coming back for more every night. I look forward to some quiet time so I can jump on my iPad and play it!

Loved it!!. I loved the series so much. The storyline was AMAZING and it was just put together so well. I also got the highest score on the first one!! I loved the second one too! It was all just so perfect!!!!!! 😋😄❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Decent enough. Been waiting for the sequel to this for quite awhile. It's definitely the best game put out by BF this year but if this woulda came out six months ago I would have been kinda disappointed. It didn't seem like they grew much from the first one. With games like Madame Fates Carnival and the like coming out, I think this game could have been so much better. But since BF HAS ABSOLUTELY SUCKED LATELY I'm just happy to finally have a game that I can play for longer than it takes to write a review.

Amazing game. This game is amazing but if you are scared of clowns do not get it, the only thing they could do to make it better is make the game last longer so you would get more out of your money

Story, Graphics, Entertaining Game Play. This game has compelling graphics and above average storyline and I usually hate the storylines! Wish it were longer but bonus chapter helps. Overall, worth the (sale) price.

Super Short. I love BH HO games. I buy a few each month. However, I didn't purchase the prequel to Lost Souls. The game is one of the shortest of this type I've ever played (2 hours). There were few hidden object puzzles. The plot was also just weird and didn't make a lot of sense. Try 1000 doors or one of the others before buying this.
