No PS4 found. I have a PS3 and won't work. All it will show is the PS3 controller. And on the app shows no ps4 found. I am playing with a PS3 WTFlower.!!!!!

What about motion control?. I can’t seem to get it to work correctly with scenes where you need to move the controller.

Glitchy. I love the idea of the app but whenever I use it it returns to the main menu off the app if I don’t constantly touch it

Just let us buy the game for iPhone!. You need to have bought a PS and the game in order to play it on your phone. There seems to be the option to buy it but it just takes you to a defunct Facebook page! This app is useless!

Play station. I can’t I don’t have a PlayStation so I can’t play I want to play

Why does this exist?. I don’t see any reason for this app to exist. Connected it to my PS4 pro, and it doesn’t seem to offer anything at all over a controller. The controls for this game are clunky at best so I was hoping for something to make the game play more tolerable but this app does nothing to make the gaming better.

Are people really that stupid??. There's a few reviews here where they rate it 1 star because it's not a game.... my god are people really that lazy and unable to comprehend??? It says right there in the description that this is a CONTROLLER, and NOT A GAME. It's an add on for the game if you already own it for PS3, oh and the idiots blaming the app for not working with PS4 when it doesn't say anywhere that it's compatible... My favorite is the one that "had to buy bother controller for $60" just to get the platinum trophy because it didn't work for their PS4, ffs. It does what it says, nothing more. It worked exactly as advertised for me and didn't have any problems.

Hopefully yours worked better. I downloaded this app on my iPhone 7 Plus after installing Beyond: Two Souls on my PS4. While I can launch both the game and the app, connect the app to the PlayStation, and get it to recognize things in the game it's supposed to control, the app has absolutely no response in-game. I'm not sure whether it's a compatibility issue with the PS4 version or my phone, but the app is useless.

Definitely worth it. The app most certainly works when you need it to. On occasion it does tend to be tough to use the control but I’m sure that was just a problem with the type of phone I’m currently using. This definitely comes in handy when you don’t have a SixAxis control, or simply just want to try something new

Broken app. As I tried to load the app the log in won’t work no matter how many times I use it, it just said failed to load and when I try to refresh it it refuses to work, which I don’t want to deal with every time I want to play with a friend on this game.

A very useful app.. Makes the game so much easier to play. Works with no problems on my ps3, not sure why this wonderful app is getting such bad reviews just because it's not a mobile version of the game. I guess some people haven't figured out how to read descriptions yet...

Garbage. This app don’t work

Very upset.. I have been trying to use this app for a couple days now. All it keep telling me is that there is no ps4 found. I do not have a ps4 I have a ps3. It says it can be used on ps3 so I do not understand why it will not connects.

Won’t work in Duo mode on PS4. The app is actually a joke. It simply won’t work on my PS4. It needs to be updated to support the PS4. There are still people playing games on this console in 2020 believe it or not....

Was a great app. App is no longer connecting to PS3. No option to change what app is trying to connect to. Only displays "no PS4 found." Don't have a PS4 and app was working great until I went back to start a new game today.

I give it a 5 stars. Playing these game on IPhone is very fun and entertainment because it make you fun time to play this game, a very good touch pad gameplay and you can even play on 2 players or in 1 player which make the make the experience more fun

Useless for ps4. Why make a game that has to be used with an app that will only connect to ps3 available on ps4. Ive waited for the game to download and now I’ve found that it can’t even connect you really need to specify that in the games description.

What are you guys doing?. I have never seen a game with such unintuitive controls in my life. It’s like they realized that the in-game controls were broken, so instead of fixing them, they designed a completely different, equally broken set of controls on an entirely different device. Now you have two sets of controls that the player potentially needs to learn to get the most out of your game. I’ve tried both and they both leave much to be desired. Either you play with your game controller and deal with the slight wonkiness, or you drain your phone battery using it as a second screen and are unable to use your phone for anything else while you play this (EXTREMELY SLOW-PACED AND CINEMATIC) game.

DOESNT WORK ON PS4.. This app doesn't even work on the ps4. I tried to use my controller and this app to play in duo mode to get 2 trophies and it was never detected. So I had to buy another $60 controller just to get the platinum for this game. So dumb. VERY MISLEADING APP.

Honest review.. If you’re gonna have to consider one of the reviews then consider mine. I was so excited to be playing the game on my iPad since i had never tried this before, but turns out it doesn’t even work. Its the year 2023, April, and i don’t know if it’s been updated or what-not, but this is so disappointing. When u go in the app, you’re going to want to press play, and then it’ll have a button telling you to connect to your ps4 or 5. When u press the button, it’ll redirect u to safari or chrome where you’re going to have to sign in to your psn account, and once u put ur details in, it’s just going to take u back to the game- over and over again. Its an endless loop. You press play, u go safari, u out ur details, back to the game and right where u started. right back to the “play” button. sorry to disappoint the people reading this review, but this app doesn’t work one bit. Very disappointing. Might be because this app is old and outdated, but i’m not sure.

Quantic Dream Fan & Amazing Companion. This truly does work really well alongside the game and it's so easily connected too! Iphone 5 or ipad 2 is what im using and i honestly dont have any lag or interference. Its like using the controller. Only big difference for me is my battery on my phone takes a serious beating. Might try this a bit more after ive played through the game with the ps3 controller first! Give me something to look forward to and a but more replay value to the game. Awesome Quantic Dream you have done it again.

Fun concept. It was fun to play around with but it’s so hard to control aiden with this is is clunky instead of floating and flying he clumsy just goes to the area I felt like I had less control with this control app then I did when playing with a controller

Perfect. Got the platinum trophy on PS3 using one controller and my iPod touch 5th gen the whole way through with NOT one single problem! This app was way easier with using Aiden then it was with the controller cause it was all point and click the whole game! Flawless on my iPod 5 with PS3 plus good internet connection! 5 stars

Only for PS3. I have the PS4 version but doesn’t work you need a PS3 copy of the game so very good for those people who have that. Another review said she wants this to work on Xbox but the app is made by PS so that just dumb who would think that, It’s PlayStation only.

Bad controls. I've played aiden with this app and didn't like the controls. I tough it was possible to move him by tilting the iphone in all directions, but you are limitted on sliding your finger and tap. I got bored ans switched for another ps3 controller instead. Oh and this app doesn't work with the demo version either.

Beyond two souls. I think it would be better if you had the Chios to play on your phone like you can in the game and for people that don't have a ps3 can play it with you phone so you can play with out Internet kinda like minecraft pocket Edition

Close!. It's a near perfect, and might I say awesome, app that delivers a great game experience. The only downfall is the movement! I never felt fully in control of Jodie's movement using the touch pad. But controlling Aiden and doing QTEs worked great. Awesome app otherwise! Great game too!

Not a good idea. I got this game a little bit ago and I thought I would be able to play it kinda like the Walking Dead game but it has to connect to the game on the play station 3 i have it but not the game i was hoping to play it!

Fulfills its purpose. Does what it's intended to do, no more or less. It's easy to connect to the game and use as a controller. The controls are very responsive. It helped me complete the game in Duo Mode on my own without any issues for the trophy.

A little bit disappointed! 😡😡😡. So I saw Pewdiepie play it and I got interested. I decided that since I don't have a playstation I could probably play it on my iPod touch. I looked it up and found this app and I was so happy so I downloaded it, but when I opened the app and pressed play it said I have to hook it up to a playstation! Why not have it like the walking dead where you don't hook it up to anything to play it! So if you are reading this don't download at all unless you have a playstation to hook it up to!

Works great but what's the point?. The game runs smoothly, it's an ok alternative. But say I have a PS3 controller what would be the deal? I mean I guess I could use it if my controllers broke or died.

Best controller ever. I enjoyed playing Beyond Two Souls with this controller over my PS3 controller! Makes the game more interesting and gives it a new level of control than simple button presses. Definitely would like to see other games use controls like this in the future!

FLAWLESS!. I just finished playing the entire with this app and it was amazing! The controls were intuitive and more importantly, responsive! The app rarely got my inputs wrong and it was a joy to play! Can't recommend the game and this app enough!

Amazing game with this app makes it better. With the ipad and the ps3 it was an amazing experience. I rented the game today but i am going to buy it tomorrow because the creators and actors deserve my full support. The gameplay mixture with amzaing graphics and exceptional story line makes this game an instant classic that should and im sure it would be placed as one of the best games ever created.

I'm writing this review in hopes that the app developer/Sony take note and make an update to make it compatible with the PS4 game. I'll update it then, if it works

:D. Honestly I think it'd be cool if it was actually the game for iOS instead of just a controller. I watched a younger play Beyond Two Souls and decided it was a cool game. I have a PS4, but I'm pretty sure it isn't out yet for it so I was kind of disappointed to see this wasn't, like I said, the actual game for a mobile device. But one of my friends has a PS3 and I was there playing it with him. This really helped, and I thought it was kind of easier to use instead of a regular controller. I would recommend it :3

Can't get it to work. iPhone 5 and ps3 connected to the same wifi.... On the right menu in the game... And the app does not detected it... Love the idea. Wish I could figure out how to use it. 😔

Great idea, but doesn't work. I wonder if this doesn't work because my playstation console is an older model? I have the newest iPhone and the app , everything is on the same wifi, but won't recognize the game :(

Works as well as PS3 controller. I have been using a third party PS3 controller to play games since my dual shock 3 broke, and not wanting to pay $40-50 for a new one I went with a generic controller. I found out during the demo for this game that it needed a controller such as the dual shock for its motion sensor, but my third party controller didn't have one. I found out about this app doing some research on this game. I decided to buy the game, and try my iPad as a controller before paying the big money for a new controller. I used this app on my iPad to play through the entire game without any trouble whatsoever. You may have to disable notifications for some apps like iMessage, because pauses the game, but other than that it controls perfectly with no lag at all. After the first "level" using this app to control the game became second nature.

:(. I bought this game to play it because I don't have a ps3 but I guess I can't play it wow thanks. People bought this to play it outside of the ps3, mostly because people don't have one. If I could play I'd give it 5 stars but I guess I never win. Oh well *insert middle finger here*

I love it. If you would read the description you would know so next time look and it's playstation3 and I'm nine and I knew that but I love the game it is a great way to play and it easier than all those controlls.

Nice addition.. But... Using the app as the controller makes me feel like I'm cheating. Although the game wasn't all that difficult, using this as the controller made it far too easy in my opinion. Although this is a great tool for the casual gamer, I would figure most players will choose to use the PS3 controller for the game.

Get a playstation!!!!!!!!!!. Can't believe how many people thought they could play this game without a PlayStation 3. Anyways the app controls fine and doesn't crash.(for me). Controls as good as a dual shock controller.

Something different. I really like the concept here and it works pretty good. It's a nice step in the right direction of utilizing apps along with games. One thing that is a bit aggravating is when your phone dies you have to exit the game back to the main menu and switch back to your controller. You can not switch it on the go.

Pretty incredible. My wife and I are playing Beyond two player both using this app, great implementation - works flawlessly and very original.

No connections. Why do we need to context to the ps3 I know where I can get one but it's my uncles and my cousin always wants to play it, so unfair :(

This is the future. The fact that I can use my phone as a video game controller is astonishing. Only problem is that the phone has to be on the entire time you play or else you lose connection to the game (I have a wired controller).

To All Complaining.... If you read closely, it's obvious this isn't an actual game for iOS. Do research! This is smart and convenient for everyone who only has one Dualshock 3. Don't be lazy and angry by your own laziness! There is one thing I would add for playing as Aiden. You can't free roam like you can with a Dualshock, which is important for finding bonuses. Besides that, the controls are great!

EPIC game UNIQUE controller. Been a fan of quanticdream since the days of indigo prophesy. Heavy rain was a game like no other. The way it pushed the narrative in a video game. The controls while some thought was cumbersome I felt was perfect. Heavy rain controls was one of the things that made the game so unique. Now with beyond: TS quanticdream has once again surpassed my expectation. I've played the demo with the regular controller n decided to play the full game with this app and I have to say the controls feel tight for what it is. IMO the movements are easier on the app. I understand that some ppl will probably hate using the app but they should give it a try with an open mind. These type of innovation n pushing of the gaming boundaries is what solidified quanticdream as my top game developer even if I only played three of their games over 8 years. Now I wonder when other game companies will incorporate an app in their games???

Make it happen for iPhone users. I think they shoulda me this game for apple please help me make this happen please guys

Not bad but controller better. If it wasn't for the fact I only had one controller and this let my buddy and I play together I would probably give it 3 stars. I really wish there was an option to make the touch screen work 1:1 instead of a virtual joystick, also that if the prompts and feedback showed on the TV screen instead of just the iOS device so I could watch the TV, lastly for whatever reason this always had about a 300ms ping so the input had a decent amount of lag.

Warning!. Some people below are idiots, of course you need a PS for a PS game. This works the same as a a controller, second game it was a little hard to get use to the sneak missions but you catch on quickly. Zero bugs for me, I loved it!

Read description. It clearly states in the description you use it instead of a PS3 controller. So if you use a PS3 controller you need a PS3 & the game unless it's stated otherwise.

Great Second Controller. This app offers a great alternative co-op experience if you do not have a second PS3 controller. Both Jodie and Aiden are easy to control which allows a non gamer who is interested in this game to play without a potentially steep leaning curve.

Probably THE best companion app available. Usually when you hear the words "companion app" you sort of cringe. But this is one of those instances that you don't. The reason being that it's actually useful. While it may be a few milliseconds slower than the controller and the movement/camera movement is a little clunky, it's still a very useful app. Worth the download and use.

Some people below are complete idiots. First off, this app is not Beyond Two Souls for the iOS. It is a controller. Some people in the reviews are complete idiots and can't see on the 4th picture it shows a phone connecting to a ps3. Playstation wouldn't release a full game on iOS because everyone would get the free one instead of the console one. Earlier I saw one a kid posted that said, "I'm a kid. Where am I supposed to get that money? I just walk up to my parents, can I have 4000 dollars for a PS3?" That kid is stupid.

Make it possible for iPod and IPhone. Its great it's better than the controller but they should make an app so you can play the game itself but other than that its great i would recommend it to anyone
